Brought to you by Novartis, founding partner of IHeart Women's Sports. Network. Welcome to Tuesday show. Morning studio. Morning. I fell asleep. There's a lot of points scored in the football game last night. I fell asleep, too. I don't really watch any of it. I was so tired. I have what stinks is, I don't feel like I get sick that often and what I do I just got it out, but I had a stomach bug a couple weeks ago, but I got the neurovirus during the break.
Starting point is 00:03:32 Which is another bug? Stomach type thing. Yeah, yeah. I was, did I say this on the year? I was sleeping on towel. I was sleeping on towels? Yeah. Okay. Yeah, you did. I just didn't know And that's embarrassing But you know what? Relatable Turns out a lot of people have the Neurovirus right now Well
Starting point is 00:03:48 How long is it contagious You're not going to give it to us? Also I'm so separated from you guys Oh yeah there's distance Yeah right now people don't even know this I'm in the Bahamas Like it's warm here I'm having a great day
Starting point is 00:04:00 That'd be cool Yeah but the North And I gave it to my wife Or as I tell her She just fought it longer It gave it to me Then got it later That's probably what happened
Starting point is 00:04:10 I've pretty much bounced back But we were working out yesterday I usually go I mean hard the whole time About 40 minutes into it I couldn't see straight Just because I hadn't eaten in a couple days Well 40 minutes in
Starting point is 00:04:21 That's a long time We do an hour For us We go an hour We don't even look up we do an hour We're even looking up We were also outside for some of it It was 37 degrees
Starting point is 00:04:29 That's cold That was stupid It sucks being cold Right You were wearing shorts Yeah Weren't you? Wow
Starting point is 00:04:37 in 37 degree weather working out But I will say it sucked Yeah So I wasn't like wearing shorts And like Because sometimes you'll see like a college football game This past weekend Sometimes NFL
Starting point is 00:04:47 But they come out shirtless and warm up Just to prove how tough they are Mine wasn't I just don't like to work out in sweat So for part of it we Worked out outside But you can watch On my Instagram
Starting point is 00:04:57 We do some pretty high jumps We didn't jump up on this little rock thing Yeah I saw I was impressed Thank you Nobody wiped out No thankfully Yeah I got a little nervous
Starting point is 00:05:07 Because, yeah, it's not like y'all are jumping up on one of those soft boxes they have at the gym. Y'all are jumping up on like hard rock. Like, you could fall. That's how we do it. That's also Eddie's nickname while we work out. No, it's not. Hard rock. Hey, hard rock.
Starting point is 00:05:18 Come on over here. I was reading this thing. Men and women are different when it comes to speaking. Women learn to speak earlier. They know more words. They recall them better. And they pause less when speaking than men. I just read that as men are just dumber.
Starting point is 00:05:31 It's not general. It's not wrong. Like, we don't value. But I don't think y'all are. I wonder why women. learned to talk earlier. Well, we develop faster than y'all in lots of areas. Yeah, brain.
Starting point is 00:05:43 Did you watch? Emotionally. Last thing before we get started here, have you guys seen the Dave Ramsey clip of the woman calling in that she's like in a bad situation and he's on the phone with her? Okay, I saw the news headline about it. I didn't see the video, but she was like a couple financial decisions snowballed into her being
Starting point is 00:05:59 and he helped her out, right? So I didn't see the news story, so I don't even know that part. So I'm flipping through TikTok, which that's kind of my mom. morning paper. For those that are older, the listen to podcasts, back in the day, you had the morning paper. I have the morning, and I'm on and I flip it through, and I like Dave Ramsey. As a person, like, he's always been super cool to me. And he comes in on the show sometimes, and I know he can be a bit controversial,
Starting point is 00:06:23 but whatever, not talking about that. And this woman calls, and she's like, something, something. And it gets to the fact that she starts crying. She's like, her boyfriend's still in the house. And she's like, I don't know. And he's like, are you unsafe? And she's, like, crying. and he's like, well, I need to call police.
Starting point is 00:06:39 The headline is, Dave Ramsey saved a caller to show a caller to a show from domestic violence live on the air. Oh my gosh. I've goosebumps just hearing that. And his daughter is part of the show with him. Yeah, Rachel. Yeah, they have their headset on.
Starting point is 00:06:52 Oh, my gosh. It's a pretty crazy TikTok video. And he's just like, I hear you. We're not worried about money right now. We have got to get you away from the situation. Her name's Danielle. She talked about, she shares with her partner and their shared child a home and they were talking about selling it. And it then turns into her being like, I'm in like danger.
Starting point is 00:07:17 And she like is going to go and he's like, you do not go. We will call the car. If you get a chance, look for it. Look it up. It's crazy. Sounds crazy. He said, I don't know if you need to sell your house or not. You may, but it's possible.
Starting point is 00:07:28 That's not your problem today. Right. And then it gets real serious. So a big shout out today, Ramsey. Handle it as perfect as you can handle it in a situation where he easily could have done nine. other things that were semi-helpful to, hey, let me put you on hold and see what we can do to, like, he
Starting point is 00:07:43 stayed there. So yeah, a big shout to Dave Ramsey. Check it out if you get a second. All right, let's get the show going here. Thank you guys. I don't know, I feel pretty good about today's show. All right, let's go. It's the anonymous and barks to be a Bobby Bowens, one of my coworkers
Starting point is 00:08:11 wear such strong perfume that it gives me headaches every time we work near each other. No one else seems to mind. I can't stand it. I don't want to embarrass her. or make it seem personal, but I need some relief. Should I say something or try to avoid her as much as possible? Sign choking on perfume. This is a semi-common one that we get where people either have stinky underarms,
Starting point is 00:08:31 cologne or perfume. So I think this probably happens a lot. So there are a few ways to go about it. One, you know, I guess your workstation kind of matters. If you could possibly move your workstation, that would be an easy one. If it's very easy, if it's mobile to do so, if it's cubicle-based, you could move your workstation and probably no one would know the difference right that's solution number one that's probably the healthiest solution now if i were to go to the unhealthiest solution i'll go to lunchbox for this
Starting point is 00:08:59 lunchbox what would you suggest is the most unhealthy solution i would just say hey it's bothering me and it stinks or it's annoying it's giving me a headache you need to change that you would say right to her yeah you just why beat around the bush if something's bothering you go right to the source go to the person don't be like oh let me send an anonymous email like i'm scared to confront them just be like You know, that perfume is disgusting. It's nasty. It gives me a headache. But you don't have to say it like that. I guess that's my point. I wanted just to hear the worst. That's the worst. Because you could say something, but I definitely wouldn't say it like that if you wanted to say something.
Starting point is 00:09:31 Amy, you tend to be the most sensible one here. Yeah, I think it's okay to say something, especially if it's impacting your well-being. Like you're, especially a strong odor really can give people a headache. And this is a complimentary strong odor. This isn't the stinky kind. This is like you smell good. and then use eye statements probably like don't make it like oh you are doing this but I am getting a headache
Starting point is 00:09:53 I am the one sensitive to this how can would like are you open to a solution to help out like so you're not accusatory the person will be offended they will even if it's a smell good thing oh yeah if you and again I think they could probably in a day not be as offended but they will be offended I don't know saying where you're saying is wrong I think we're saying
Starting point is 00:10:12 it's very healthy but they will be offended anytime anybody comes up to you and go something your doing is affecting me in a negative way, they will automatically react in a way of, like, sad, mad. But I think, A, can move your desk. B, you can accumulate signatures from around the room and hit her a petition. Oh. Which is not the, yes, which is not the real way to do it.
Starting point is 00:10:38 But funny. You could go to a supervisor and actually have them do that talk because that is who is supposed to do those talks? Yeah, that's what I would do. You could go to somebody and be like, hey, this is pretty tough. I think I might be allergic to it, but I don't want to cause drama in the office. Would you mind saying something to her? I think of all things considered, that's not the healthiest as a human. I think Amy has the healthiest way. I think lunchbox has the least healthy way. I think this is the way, though, that nobody gets their feelings really hurt because that could actually affect the relationship at the office for a long time, if you hurt her feelings.
Starting point is 00:11:10 And that's what the supervisor is there for, right? To do her things? Like, would you rather hear it from one person that's saying, like, I am in a. impacted like I'm getting headaches like you but I will dislike that person okay you will see I'd rather not right if I hear from a supervisor or HR I'm thinking how many people are talking about me and that's okay but you never know which one so therefore you're never going to be angry at one person oh it could affect a work relationship is what I'm saying you just quit the job that's just kidding that's fair too you could also meet her in the middle and perfume the crap out of yourself there are a lot of really unhealthy ways to do this but I think as far as
Starting point is 00:11:46 as, hey, it's work. So it doesn't have to be the most human healthy thing. You're just trying, it's business. You're just trying to do your thing. I would go to your supervisor and say, hey, this is really bad. I think I might be allergic to it, but I don't know how to handle it.
Starting point is 00:11:58 Would you be able to have a couple words to just limit it? And I think they can handle it in a way that'll be sensitive to everybody. Now, if you want something to talk about at dinner, you can try one of our other solutions. Because any of the other ones are going to actually be conversations. No, my favorite's petition. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:16 But you honestly could just move your desk. If it's just a cubicle type thing that's easily moved, you could just work from a different place. I mean, if we had someone in here that was like really, really strong, you would probably just have to tell us. Well, I did tell lunchwalk. Stoppeding in here and stop farting in the glass room. And he did. And he did. That's annoying.
Starting point is 00:12:33 Yes. It was annoying for him and his feelings were hurt because he's like, I like my farts. But I was like, but don't do it in here. So, yeah, good luck with that. Go to someone and let them do that for you. That's their job, not yours. All right. There you go.
Starting point is 00:12:45 Close it up. Here's the voicemail from Rose in Texas. Hey, Bobby Bones. Requesting an update. I may have missed it sometime last year. You read a festival and lunchbox. Grabbed several coupons for free Bartesian machines. Whatever happened with those?
Starting point is 00:13:06 Did he gift them? Did he share with you guys? Good question. They're like those little cups that go in a curing. Yeah. It's kind of like that. It's like a whole machine. that the cups are made. It's like a courage for alcohol. And the thing is beautiful. It's fantastic. And it wasn't just like the base version. We got the Cremdele Cram. Yeah. Like the top of the line one. Yeah, almost. So, but did you grab more than one? Yeah, I grabbed like 10 or 12 of the whole machines. No, no. It was a coupon. It was a card. Right for the whole machine. Yeah. And then you just go and you type it in and you get it delivered to your house. Yeah. Like I said, yeah, you get 10 or 12 for the whole machine. Yeah. And how many do you have? I have one.
Starting point is 00:13:46 But are you going to... One machine. I know, but you have 10... Yeah, yeah, I gained into friends and family. So they have the machines. Yeah. Okay. Like my buddy Ryan, you know, my dresser, he got one.
Starting point is 00:13:57 Garrett and Missy, they got one. Oh, that's nice. Just give them out. Real nice. Of? Me to do that. Thinking of other people. They were just going to go to waste.
Starting point is 00:14:06 Those cards were not being used. I don't think they were going to waste. I think if they don't use them in there, they use them in other places. But I hear you. If there is something that he can grab more of one, he's going to. It doesn't matter if it's children's cancer hospital. or if it's an event, like whatever that was. Thank you, though.
Starting point is 00:14:20 There's your update. Give me that number four, Ray. Hello, Bobby. 33 years ago, I met a young girl at a skating rink or a church party. I know it sounds like a country song, but it's true. Since then, we have had good times and we've suffered losses. But somehow, we've got two grandchildren. I just wanted to say, I love you, Tammy.
Starting point is 00:14:40 Thanks a lot, Bobby. That's pretty good. That's really cool. Eddie, we should write that as a country song. Beautiful. Save that one right. Some wins and some losses, that what he said? Yeah, we do in the limbo.
Starting point is 00:14:49 Wret that down. Little did I know. Oh, wow. That's a great story. Thank you for sharing that with us. Here's Amy's pile of stories. Well, according to a recent study, married men tend to age slower compared to their single counterfarts. You know why?
Starting point is 00:15:05 Why's make us? Oh, they make you better. Everything. It makes you do everything. Mm-hmm. Yeah. No, no, they make us age slower. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:12 They tell me, dude, you age slower. I say, yes, ma'am. They lower your stress. I've learned. I've learned. I just say that's no, no, no, they just make us. They tell us and we do it. Yeah, this is only if you stay married, though. Men who were separated, divorce, or widowed did not age as well. You know why we stay married? Our wife tell us. We must. Right. Right, guys. Yes. Yes. Okay. I have one of the worst forms of torture ever in the history of mankind. Got it. What is it? Listening to foreigner B-sides. No. That guy sings really high. I. I don't know. That guy sings really high.
Starting point is 00:15:45 I like the hits. I want to know. But they have some songs that aren't like hits that are pretty, I struggle with. I know it's not listening to anything, but I do have a thought when I share this with you. Eating mayonnaise. Think about maybe we put it on the wheel. The next thing. Is it bamboo under fingernails?
Starting point is 00:16:01 Ew. I've never landed on that one. Yeah, they did that stuff. Pulling out teeth with pliers. No. Yeah. No, it is soaking feet in salt water and then pulling them out and letting a goat lick them. This is all torture.
Starting point is 00:16:14 Yeah. Yeah. Like ancient realm. Goat's tongues are so coarse that it rips the skin off. I'm sorry to steal your story. I just am familiar with. No, that's okay. I had not ever heard of it.
Starting point is 00:16:25 It was going on the wheel later this week. Yeah. But the salt water. I apologize. Take the story. Go ahead. The hot salt water, it like gets the feet really like soft. So therefore when the goat starts licking, it like takes the skin off.
Starting point is 00:16:36 And then your feet are really tender and the goat keeps licking. And I'm like, oh, dang, maybe we need to bring that back. Not for here, but I don't know. For what? You know what else? It used to be a torture? Other criminals. Oh.
Starting point is 00:16:47 Was a treadmill. They would lock them on a treadmill and just make them run. That's how the treadmill actually started. It was a torture device. In prisons, I think. And do you know what now is a torture device? The treadmill. Yes.
Starting point is 00:16:57 Still. Yes. Amazon's home device, you know, what I'm talking about right now. Alexa? Well, yeah, but I thought we didn't say that. Well, if you don't give it like a command. Okay. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:08 I think you just gave it like a command, though. I say, hey in front of it. Sometimes we give it a command and we're like, oh, let's keep going on at the show and Everybody's all mad at us. Okay, well, this one girl posted on TikTok that her Amazon device predicted when the world was going to end. I have a whole story, but what's the deal? Okay, it was a really disturbing video that she put up like people are freaking out about it. But on February 20th, 2013, which is in less than a decade, United States of America will cease to exist.
Starting point is 00:17:39 Okay, that's not win. I'm just letting you know. That one lied. Oh, you know, it's not for sure. I know, I know. I already know what's happening. Why? I asked Siri.
Starting point is 00:17:47 Well, what did she say? And I trust Siri more than I do Alexa. So the thing is, her video has gone completely viral. And now when she asks her device when it's going to end, it just says, I don't know this one. I already told you. I will not share it again. Here's some saltwater and goats for your day. I started to think like that's less than a decade.
Starting point is 00:18:04 We're going downhill fast. Don't think about that any longer. That's not true. You know what else is dying out? I saw? You know, it's timely. Max machines. I mean, really.
Starting point is 00:18:14 No, missile Dial up internet. No, mistletoe at company parties. Oh, yeah, sexual brats. I'm Amy. That's my file. That was Amy's pile of stories.
Starting point is 00:18:28 A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care which I'm saying. Yep, that's me. Cliver Taylor the 4th. You might have seen the skits, the reactions, my journey from basketball to college football, or my career in sports media.

Starting point is 00:19:51 I'm not worried about Policic. I'm not worried about Balagan. I'm not worried about McKinney. My only concern is what happens in the back. The biggest decisions. You're going to look at stats and numbers. He has no shot at making this World Cup team. And the truth about the U.S. national team.
Starting point is 00:20:09 It wouldn't be a huge surprise if our team ends up in the quarterfinals or potentially a great run into the semifinals. The World Cup is almost here. Starting point is 00:23:39 I went to go pick up our Thanksgiving holiday meal at Cracker Barrel and they didn't have the order. I was like, oh my goodness. And they were a little frantic and I was like, you know, it's okay. You know, I can just go in and order, you know, it's just the three of us. I can just get three dinner plates. And she's like, give me two minutes.
Starting point is 00:23:53 And she just came out with a whole box of a full dinner, pies, everything, and didn't charge us. Are you kidding me? I tried to pay. I tried so hard to pay. And she said, just pay it forward. So I'm looking for a way to pay it forward, guys. And I'll let you know when that happens. Shout out.
Starting point is 00:24:11 That's very awesome. Cracker barrel. Because they probably know there were a lot of mistakes made because there's just so much going on. And then shout out to Brooke for, please let us know. Just when things are hectic, most times people get stressed out. and react in ways they're probably not proud of. I had a blow up during Thanksgiving. Uh-oh.
Starting point is 00:24:28 Like you? Yeah. I thought you didn't blow up. I don't. Is it football related? Yeah. Oh, well, that happens. It's partially.
Starting point is 00:24:36 I mean, that's what the root of it was. We're just terrible. We're terrible. But you already knew that. No, but it affected other parts of the day. And I was just like, nobody even understands me. And it would turn into something else.
Starting point is 00:24:47 And it was all based on Arkansas football is terrible. And there's no positive outlook on it. And it's awful. And so tell me something bad. me. Oh my gosh. And I was, I hated myself for it. But it is what it is. So, but anyway, Cracker Bro, good job. That is what it's all about. That was tell me something good. I don't know this artist, but shout out to him because he was on like probation or parole or something and he still goes to the CMAs. Do you guys see them? Oh, yeah. It's crazy. You know what? At the same time,
Starting point is 00:25:16 I'm like, you do you, buddy, but I'm also like, buddy, now they're going to do you. So his name is Austin Tanner. Now, not a massive star. I mean, this helped. This is the only song that he has on streaming service is called All We Need. Okay, so, you know, we talk about people where they're like, they committed a crime and they posted a picture of it and we're like, why would you do that? But this is different because he looked good and his wife.
Starting point is 00:25:40 Remember that's look good, too? They took a picture at the CMAs. So, aspiring country singer Austin Tanner was involved in some insurance deal in Alabama. he was arrested in charge with two counts of first degree insurance fraud, theft of property, attempted theft. He was released in a $20,000 bond. Per the terms of his pretrial release bond, he is not allowed to leave the state of Alabama. Oh, no.
Starting point is 00:26:03 So he posted a picture of himself and his wife at the CMA Awards, which were in Nashville, which are not in Alabama. Tanner's bond revoked. Tanner arrested. He will be held in the Mobile Metro jail without bond until a hearing tomorrow. It's a hearing tomorrow. Hey, Tanner, we'd love to talk to you when you get out. Oh my goodness.
Starting point is 00:26:23 We love to talk to you. Like what he was thinking, like, you know, knowing that you can't travel outside of wherever and then you go. I know what he's thinking. We got tickets. My wife's got a dress. Look at him. He looks good.
Starting point is 00:26:36 But then maybe don't post about it. Well, there's nothing in life that you do that you can't post about anymore. Like, that's pretty, he shouldn't, all the crime stuff, if he did it bad, Dan or bad guy. But how about this guy? He goes, can I read just? post on Instagram? I'm big fan
Starting point is 00:26:54 this guy, I'm going to tell you now. This is so balzy. Last night was nothing short of magical as we walked down the red carpet. The moment marked a dream come true. Having my beautiful wife Skyla by my side made it even more special, she absolutely stole the show.
Starting point is 00:27:07 Dressed by Clarice Designs, hair and makeup by Sylvia Fox Beauty. Thank you to Frank and co-juelers for the perfect touches and sparkle and to Kovas and Anson Belt. To everyone who has supported my music and believed in this dream,
Starting point is 00:27:20 your encouragement has brought me to this unforgettable moment. Here's to the country music and the stories that bring us all together. Oh. Hashtag dream come true. That's a nice post. It was like an outlaw. Yeah. He forgot to think the police. That's what he should have think.
Starting point is 00:27:34 Well, I don't think outlaw is insurance fraud. Like, I think that we have outlaws in country music, but I don't think those are insurance fraud outlaws. Yeah. If that's even the case. Like, he was charged, right? It's alleged. It's charged. Are they clear with those things, like those rules?
Starting point is 00:27:47 Like, you can not leave the state? Yes, they are. Okay. Yeah, I think they tell you. you're pretty cut and dry like hey don't go anywhere i'm going to say this though if he gets out on bond again because tomorrow is his hearing is word that for him was it and i don't think they officially walked the red carpet like he's not big enough but there's a place you can take pictures and you can just say you're on the red car it is the red carpet that's what i was going to ask you i'm looking at this
Starting point is 00:28:10 picture going i mean i don't know who this dude is so how does he get invited to the red carpet It's different to get invited to the red carpet these days because you can just have any influence at all because it actually is fame. Like if you're TikTok famous, that's famous. That's famous like something different was five years ago. Mike, would you call you so many followers? Austin Tanner has 9,000.
Starting point is 00:28:33 Okay. So he does not have enough followers probably be walking the red carpet. I would assume this is just a picture in front of a wall where they're standing on a red carpet. Don't matter. They look great. And he knew what he was doing. He knew posting it's going to go.
Starting point is 00:28:45 He knew it. You know what, and I respect it. I don't like the insurance fraud. All that bad, bad, bad guy. If true. But, hey, well, come up and, oh, he can't come out of Alabama. Oh, yeah, he can't go over here. We would love to Zoom with you.
Starting point is 00:28:59 Scooby DM him, will you? Yeah, I found his email. I'm sending an email right now. Okay. But we don't need him to come up here. What if he does come up here? Please. Oh, that's on him.
Starting point is 00:29:08 Please come. That'd be kind of awesome. He's like, double screw you. I'm coming to this show. If you come up here, we'll let you play a song. Oh, wow. Wow. We're like, though, every aiding and a...
Starting point is 00:29:20 No, we're not hiding him. No, it's all like, hey, he'll be up here. It's like Blues Brothers. They knew, the cops knew they were playing their show and they're waiting for him out. That's right. If he wants to come up here and do it here and the cops are outside, we welcome it. Austin Tanner, husband, father, country artist, entrepreneur, pilot, scuba diver. Wow.
Starting point is 00:29:37 And now outlaw. Outlaw. It's just you got to change what you outlawed. Like, what kind of music you outlawed for? insurance fraud But that's the thing He also now It was insurance fraud
Starting point is 00:29:49 But now it's like Invading the wall Whatever Like I was just waking up one morning Thinking dear the Lord And I thought Why am I so bad He said
Starting point is 00:30:00 Because you did insurance fraud See I got the song I'm ready to go The sky's the limit Yeah yeah dude He can do all of me He fled the county Fled the county
Starting point is 00:30:09 Sad But my wife She looks so good And the good Lord said you know where you're going, you're going back to jail for good, good, good, good. Man, that's awesome. Except it's not, I want to say good, it's not. Casey Musgraves, did you watch the video on Tampa or the fan ground?
Starting point is 00:30:26 Oh, she was not happy. I would have not been happy to. But she went in the crowd, is that what I read? Yes, she walked down in front of the stage. Here's the thing. I want to say this, this is not fair. This is unfair for me to say this. This is, it could even be sexist.
Starting point is 00:30:40 If a dude goes down, you and grab them, don't grab them both of the waist. want to touch them, that's okay. If a woman goes down, don't grab her. They deserve more respect than that. Because they actually, for the most part, they like, they take care of themselves and whether wearing earrings or hair's done. Dudes, they might wear a shirt. Might. And their jeans that pride on for three days. And don't be grabbing like their guitars and crap. But if like Kipmore walks down and you're like, ooh, and touch your shoulder. Okay. Don't grab anybody though. But so, yeah, Casey Musgraves was trying to, she went down in front in Tampa. A fan grabbed her.
Starting point is 00:31:17 And you see Casey be like, what are you doing? And the person that grabbed her had her phone out too as she was recording. Don't do that. Don't grab people. You can touch a dude. Don't touch a lady. Well, yeah. And if you're for anybody doing that sort of thing is a vulnerable situation.
Starting point is 00:31:31 Like you're in the crowd. You're trying to do your thing. And then you're thrown off by that. And depending on any other things that maybe have happened to you in life. Like, yeah, her face on the big screen just said it all. Like she was just like, what? I'd have been mad too. Not okay.
Starting point is 00:31:43 And it grabbed her sword and almost spun around because she's walking and she's like, Oh, that way. Yeah. The only time that I ever get irritated, because if I'm doing shows or wherever I am, I, listen, I'll stop, take pictures, do whatever the whole time. But if you grab me, that almost feels like you're holding me when I don't want to be held. Like, it's almost like, that's when I'm like, I'm out. I'm done.
Starting point is 00:32:06 No more. But also, don't do it to women. I'm going to do it to women. Like they actually, guys don't care about what they look like. But don't grab a guy. Or don't touch his underneath his belt, you know. But or front. Yeah, you know, I get what you're saying about the women.
Starting point is 00:32:23 But guys probably don't want to be sexist. They could be sexist. I can't know. Some do. Or touched or held back. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, no, no, no, some do.
Starting point is 00:32:30 There's this thing. Speaking of Casey Musgraves, there's a show that takes place in the near future where there's an energy curfew. Oh, this is right up my alley. What are you talking about? What do you mean? Oh, it's a show coming up? Like lights, energy. I thought this was like in the future future.
Starting point is 00:32:44 Think about energy curfew. So, oh, by the way, silos back on Apple Plus. Oh, it is. Did you watch episode one and two? Yes, I did. Do you guys watch Silo on Apple Plus? No. No.
Starting point is 00:32:54 I did. I forgot about it. So I love stuff like this. So there's a show in the near future where an energy curfew is in state in the United States to ration and electricity. The power grid goes down completely and the nation lives electricity free for 24 hours. The energy curfew music hour hits airwaves an hour before the lights go out. For those who do not see the live shows,
Starting point is 00:33:13 listeners everywhere can experience them on Audible. Each show features incredible musical guests like Casey Musgraves, Nora Jones, James Taylor. Here's some of Casey's performance. Here you go. It's a cool show. The eight episode musical variety shows
Starting point is 00:33:26 hosted by the Punch Brothers Energy Curfew Music Hour recorded live at Audibles Manetta Lane Theater in New York City. The Energy Curfew Music Hour is available on Audible and wherever podcasts are found. It's time for, what's wrong with people? What's wrong with people? Amy. So, I believe,
Starting point is 00:33:41 we talked about this dentist in Colorado a while back that poisoned his wife. Like she was drinking like a protein shake every morning and he was putting, I don't know, arsenic or something in it. And he's an orthodontist. So you think he's a smart guy. Well, he's not because he's in jail right now for this. And the detective that is investigating his case, he was asking a fellow inmate if he could help him kill the detective. It's a detectiveing his case.
Starting point is 00:34:07 Right. And I'm like, what, what's wrong with people? Why have we not learned our lesson, you know? You got to wonder how many times this is actually pulled off, though, that we don't know, and we don't yell what's wrong with people. You wonder if it's only the dummies to get caught. But what happened? Did the other guy in prison tell on him?
Starting point is 00:34:25 I don't know how he got busted, but. Had to have, right? Had to snitch. Yeah, he wants time off his sentence. Like, hey, man, this guy's coming to me saying, I'm going to kill this detective. Well, he first went to the in May of 2023, and then he went back to, again, to the inmate, like, a month ago. Yeah, if he ain't doing it after the first time, I don't go back again. Right.
Starting point is 00:34:44 Hey, so did she end up dying? Yeah, she did. She did die. That's a terrible. We already talked about that part. So I'm like, okay, but hey, good. The good news is the detective is not dead. You know?
Starting point is 00:34:54 That is good news. Because it wasn't successful. Better news. From prison. I guess probably in jail forever, right? Yeah, he wanted to go off with this mis- mis-trip. I just think about it.
Starting point is 00:35:02 Like, when we go to the dentist or the orthodontist or the doctor, like, we just put them on a pedestal already thinking that they're... Yeah, but I would say emotion kind of at times overrides intelligence. Yeah. Like he probably was so unhinged and emotional about whatever it happened with his ex-wife. He wanted to, quote, start a new life.
Starting point is 00:35:21 I'm like, why not just get a divorce? No, I mean, because Amy, you know that's expensive. Yeah, but. That's absolutely, all that's wrong. I hate that guy. What's wrong with people? What's wrong with people? Here's mine from My San Antonio.
Starting point is 00:35:34 A Texas woman left her 16-month-old child alone in her apartment. To meet a guy she met on a dating app, Hinge, according to an arrest affidavit pulled by KWTX. Officials say she took nearly a three hour drive from Killeen to San Antonio to meet her date. Reese Lewis Myers was charged with abandoning and endangering a child. The incident allegedly occurred in July. She was arrested on July 28th.
Starting point is 00:35:56 The Killeen Police Department said officers responded to a call of a child hanging out of a broken window at ground level. Oh my gosh. Authority said residents attempted to help the child. However, there was an aggressive dog charging at them. A kid ended up being okay, I believe. That's a lot. That's from my San Antonio. you know, there's a lot of problems I have with this.
Starting point is 00:36:12 And the first one is the actual problem of this is bad. You can't leave your kid like that. That's a bad parent. Secondly, he'll come to you. Yeah, for a hinge date, you're driving three hours? Yeah, why are you driving three hours? And how are you matching three hours away? That's a long radius, man.
Starting point is 00:36:26 That's tough. Yeah, but you can do it. Or it can be somebody who is like in your, lives in your area, but it's currently in another area. Yeah. So, but she, listen, if you're going to go that far, here's about, That's what I'm saying. If you're going to go that far, you plan to do other stuff than just go far to chat over drinks.
Starting point is 00:36:46 And if you're going to do that much stuff, that guy will drive three hours to you. Yeah, but the riverwalk, I mean. You mean, there's a lot of stuff to do. The needle, you know what I mean? They have the restaurant that rotates. Maybe stopping your brambles has been growing. Yeah. Terrible, terrible, terrible situation.
Starting point is 00:37:03 You can't do that. That's a bad parent move. And also, why are you driving to him? Maybe they have a car. This doesn't sound like hinge behavior. It sounds like Tinder behavior. No, you're exactly right. It does not sound like hinge behavior.
Starting point is 00:37:17 But my question is, Th wrong with people. What's wrong with people? Let's go over to Ray Mundo. Ray Mundo, what do you have? Yeah, this is from 7 News Australia. It was a 23-year-old dude. He's at the club on Saturday.
Starting point is 00:37:28 And not only did he get naked. At the club? Yeah, after he left the club. Then he was in his socks running around. Then he assaulted a police officer. And then he tried to steal an Uber vehicle and I have an audio clip. It gets crazy. Okay.
Starting point is 00:37:41 Kid man has gone on a violent rampage in Perth, hitting a police officer in the face before allegedly trying to carjack an Uber to escape. A 23-year-old was wearing nothing, but his socks when he was heard shrieking as he was tasered. It took five officers and at least two tasers to stop him. The most embarrassing part about that story is how feminine a shriek was. Yeah, that was weird.
Starting point is 00:38:06 Because his boys are going to be like, Yo, you had some mushrooms. Great, what a trip. That's crazy you did that. Wish you wouldn't have done that. Let's listen to the new... Oh, bro. You got to be a little more manly with that shriek.
Starting point is 00:38:18 That's just a bad night at the club, man. That is a bad night on something at the club. Yeah. He didn't, like... Did he assault anybody? The cop, but minor injuries. Yeah, you can't be assaulting a cop. Naked?
Starting point is 00:38:30 But naked. Like, how much assaulting can you do when you're naked? What's wrong with people? What's wrong with people? We'll get to some more of these in a second. I like what's wrong with people. Me too. I should, like, the kid, they're not good.
Starting point is 00:38:43 But it makes me feel better about myself, because sometimes I feel like I'm out of control crazy. Like, I'm... A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care what you're saying. Yep, that's me, Cliver Taylor the 4th. You might have seen the skits, the reactions,

Lunchbox. Smart people doing dumb things. A doctor in Arkansas has had his license suspended because he likes to be in his birthday suit. I saw it.
Starting point is 00:43:59 Doing what? At the office. He likes to surprise people in his birthday suit. That's not a good surprise. You know where that's funny in your dorm with your bros? Yeah. When it's only your bros and you walk in and you're like, hey, this eye's looking at you. You and you bend over?
Starting point is 00:44:15 Like, that's funny. But even then that's only funny for you. That's not funny for us. I know, I know, but that's like stupid 19-year-old stuff, the only dudes. This is a doctor. He'd come up in the reception area and do stretches naked. Stop. In front of patients.
Starting point is 00:44:30 How is this possible? And he'd go into exam rooms naked and they got it on video and he's lost his license. Question, question, question. Was he, okay, was this a reoccurring thing? Yeah, yeah. And two, was he on something when this happened? Right, that's what I'm thinking. And is there any chance?
Starting point is 00:44:48 we can hear a clip of him getting tased, like the last guy. No, but he is a self-described naturess. Okay, so he's naked alive. He likes that. Oh, wow. Wait, did Love Fox mention that he's... How you said that is like you saw him naked? No, but I was picturing an old man for some reason, like a little, just been a doctor for a long time, kind of crazy.
Starting point is 00:45:11 No, this guy looks relatively young and... And fit, and he's wearing, like, a netback hat, like a cool hat. He's fit, too? Well, he's like, he's like, he's not what you would expect. Shout out Arkansas. Amy's in the season of, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. I'm not attracted to this. I'm just saying, like, Arkansas, like, represent.
Starting point is 00:45:30 She's booking an appointment, right? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Amy, you don't have to take shots in Arkansas. Like, yeah, yeah. Amy is in, and I hope you're okay with this. No, no, no, no. Growing up in Arkansas, and if we had a dog that was in heat, we would be killed. Oh, that's what it is.
Starting point is 00:45:43 Yeah. Amy's kind of in heat right now. No, I'm not in heat. No, I'm not at all. You don't think so? I'm not attracted to what? happening here. He did say, we do not shame, sexualized, fear, or negatively stigmatize the naked body. I agree with that, except you can't do that there. You can't do you can't do stretches in the
Starting point is 00:45:58 lobby. It has to be with people who also agree with your lifestyle. Stretches in the lobby? That's too much, man. Is it say what kind of doctor he was? Wow, I know y'all are going to be shocked to hear this. He was once investigated for overprescribing medication to people. Exactly. Well, I am surprised by that. Just because he's naked doesn't make the, he can't figure out good choices right yeah i sounds like he overprescribed himself and that could be a possibility shocking video i just
Starting point is 00:46:24 what kind of doctor was in uh in blyvo practicing the nude according to naked i mean i want did people know that was his thing and he found somebody just finally didn't know and had to go in for like a the doctor will see you now and you will see him
Starting point is 00:46:39 all of him all right eddie what we got hey what's wrong with people oh sorry sorry sorry i totally got on track it was only I'm sorry, okay, here we go. What's wrong with people?
Starting point is 00:46:49 What's wrong with people? Thank you. So there's a bride saying that she'd spend 10 months planning her wedding and the day came down and she walked the aisle and only five people showed up. She invited 50 and only five people showed up. That's so sad. Yeah, but was she like annoying or something? I mean, probably right? But I mean, to invite 50 people to your wedding and only five show up, that's so sad.
Starting point is 00:47:13 Okay, but what if you invited like the rock? Okay. Oprah. No, I didn't say that she invited those kinds of people. She invited friends. I feel like this is more like. I feel like this is like if she were like, did she plan it on a Tuesday morning at 9 a.m.? See, I even looked to see if it was like a vacation, like a destination wedding.
Starting point is 00:47:30 Nope. It's right down the road. Well, I don't know that that's necessarily what's wrong with people because if one person doesn't know, it's not like they collectively got together and we're like nobody go. Hey, are you going to the wedding? I'm not going to the wedding. And they didn't go. You think it was like that? No, I feel like there's something up with that.
Starting point is 00:47:45 I don't know this. if I invited 50 people to my wedding and three showed up, that's a me thing. Is this a ploy to get gifts and like a go-foyne? Oh, I'm not buying it. So maybe she's the what's wrong with people. Maybe. Yeah, that is, I don't know any of that. But maybe not.
Starting point is 00:48:00 I feel bad for her, though, if that's not the case. I thought immediately like this. What's wrong with somebody? Yeah, there's something wrong here. Hey, so lunchbox is naked doctor. He's a family physician. Oh, no. That is terrible.
Starting point is 00:48:11 But there's no way he's doing it for any kids. I mean, I mean, I say that isn't I don't know. But if he's doing, there's no. There's no way he's being naked in front of kids. No, there can't be. There can't be, because that would have been the biggest story. Yeah. Okay, it's just his family medicine physician, so.
Starting point is 00:48:23 Family practice. So, I don't know. Kids may go. Thank you for saving Eddie's story, Amy. Dang. Yeah, I think that was the worst. Really? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:48:33 They didn't go to her wedding. What's wrong with people? Who's day? Why didn't they? There's probably a reason. But still, at least go and humor her. Unless you don't like her. Yeah, maybe.
Starting point is 00:48:42 Okay, Morgan. Okay, so there was this six point. million piece of artwork up for sale, right? And we talked about this, the banana. Yeah, it was a banana taped to a wall. Well, there was a billionaire who bought it. His name's Justin's son. But what's so dumb about this, not just buying the banana for $6.2 million.
Starting point is 00:48:59 He ate the banana. He ate it. It's gone. $6.2 million of banana is absolutely gone. If he didn't eat the banana, it would just rot. And then the art would be. I thought the same thing. So I had to look this up.
Starting point is 00:49:11 So first of all, he's a crypto, bro. Made a bunch of money in crypto. Has billions of dollars. it. So what they give you, and you guys can look this up, Mike, please fact check me on this. The art was basically the roll of duct tape. And so, but you own it in this duct tape and you can put any banana on it. It had to be on a white wall and you stick any banana to the white wall. And so he sticks it and it takes it eats the banana. But the banana wasn't an old rotted banana. He claimed it was like the best banana he's ever had. Yeah, because it's so expensive.
Starting point is 00:49:41 And there's something to it like that where it's like, because this is basically, you know for a long time you could buy like the monkeys uh digital currency oh yeah that's stupid this is basically that what not but but real go ahead i started to wonder if the photo of him eating it then becomes valuable value is like is that art if it's the one of one value is what people assign to it and that's it like how much do you buy it for 6.2 million oh my gosh and so i think it was the original duct tape and it must be on a white wall but i think that the banana change. It has to be a different banana because that thing went viral like two years
Starting point is 00:50:20 ago, so the same banana is not sticking to that wall looking all pretty, correct? But he ate it. And I wonder if you could put another one in it. It's still the same art piece. That I didn't think about. Possible. He said he wanted to become part of history by eating it. What was crazy is, you know, the, oh, fun trivia fact here. What's the name of the street? Lunchbox,
Starting point is 00:50:36 you'll know the answer. What's the name of the street artist who paints stuff all over and they can't figure out? Banksie. I think of. I thought we were holding our answer. No, no, no. No need to buzz in. Because I know, but I would have gotten it. So they kind of... Now we know. They kind of just revealed who it was kind of.
Starting point is 00:50:51 You know, they thought they've known, but they've just revealed it. So Banksy had this one thing that went out for auction, and as soon as somebody bought it, I'm just going to paraphrase, make up numbers here. As soon as somebody bought it for like $2 million, and trigger went off and it went through a paper cutter and sliced the whole thing up. What? I remember this. Right in the middle of the auction.
Starting point is 00:51:10 And then that ended up going for like two or three times more than what the original went for. So in October 2018, Banksy's Girl with the Balloon was auctioned at Sotheby's for over a million bucks. As the hammer fell, the painting began to shred itself due to a hidden mechanical paper shredder in the frame. So in the
Starting point is 00:51:27 frame, the bottom of it was a shredder. The shredder only partially destroyed the painting, leaving the bottom half hanging from the frame. And then I believe from that, you may find the number, it sold for even more than that afterward. They planned all this? Banksy did. Wow. Like as soon as it was sold, that's the next level. Boom. So that's, that's all.
Starting point is 00:51:44 See, that's, art is what we declare art. Yeah, but a $6.2 million banana, that's bad to hit up. Dude, it's so, hey, listen to this, the banks he shredded our work sold for $18 million. Oh my goodness. See, that is what's wrong with people. I almost bought a Bob Ross painting over the weekend. Now, that's worth a lot. I didn't. I didn't. I couldn't pull the, I couldn't pull the trigger.
Starting point is 00:52:04 How much was it? You don't want to know? Oh, gosh. No, we do, actually. You don't want to know on the air to me. It'll be, I don't want to, but I got so close to buying a Bob Ross. That'd be amazing, dude. What do you, and Bob Ross is the guy that paint, from the, from the,
Starting point is 00:52:14 80s. Yes, it's a big hair. I don't understand how you guys know this guy so well. What do you mean? It was on TV everywhere. Yeah, I'd never watched him. So when we talk, people talk about him being a cultural icon, I'm just like, what? No, you see this guy.
Starting point is 00:52:25 I never watched him either as a kid because I was like, this is so boring. But on TikTok, like I remember him and I would just never stop. I don't watch him paint. But now on TikTok when I got older, I was like, this guy paints really good. This is hilarious. His hair is hilarious. Yeah. All that was, I got so close to buying.
Starting point is 00:52:39 Lunchbox, have you never seen him do a painting? No. You need to watch him do one painting. One painting. When he messes up, they're not mistakes. They're like lovely accidents or something. I forget what he says. Happy accidents.
Starting point is 00:52:51 Yes. Amazing. All right, that's a round of. What's wrong with people? What's wrong with people? It's time for the good news. With producer Eddie. Tell me something good.
Starting point is 00:53:02 Dale Davis is a grandma from South Carolina. She's driving down the road with her two-year-old grandson in the back seat. She looks in the rearview mirror and says, oh my gosh, he's not breathing. So she pulls the car over, gets out, and starts helping the kid. She's, it's not working. CPR and everything. And cars are just flying by. She's trying to wave cars.
Starting point is 00:53:19 No one's stopping except what she calls an angel. It was a lady who's a social worker. She stops us, what's going on? So she calls 911. Does CPR brings the child back to life? Because it stopped breathing completely. Paramedics get there and saved the child. So a couple things.
Starting point is 00:53:35 One, all that stuff that happened once a lady pulled over is amazing. But the fact that a lady pulled over maybe the most amazing thing ever because I don't ever pull over. Right. Like unless I know the person. I'm not I just I just keep driving It's probably explains why she's a social worker though She has a big heart
Starting point is 00:53:50 And did you hear that after she left the car Disappeared? Because she was there in there Angel And they saw something fly up into the sky Okay No but really think about that Someone's pulled over
Starting point is 00:53:59 You mostly go Well they probably called like Whatever their services To help pick them up They'll be okay Yeah unless like the grandma's got the kid out Like beating them on the back No it looked like the child
Starting point is 00:54:09 Was still in the car So they had no idea That's crazy That's an awesome story Does it say her name again Did you say her name? No, her name is Amidra Raghine. I hope I pronounced that right.
Starting point is 00:54:18 But she's a social worker and the angel that saved his life. It also could be like a scam or somebody setting somebody up. Like pull over. Oh, yeah. Oh, I read the news that there was a guy doing that here in Nashville. That's crazy. We don't want to do that. We don't want to do that.
Starting point is 00:54:33 That's a great story. That is what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good. And that is the end of the first half of the podcast. A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care what you're saying. Yep, that's me. Clifford Taylor the 4th.
