Welcome to Tuesday show. Morning, studio.
Morning.
A lot of people ready to talk to us this morning.
Jason is on the phone from Alabama.
Jason, what's going on, buddy?
Good morning, Bobby. Good morning, studio.
Morning.
I understand that I married an amazing woman.
All right. My wife is next to none. But I have learned in my life and in my 12 years of marriage that whenever it comes to gift on Valentine's Day, I don't get her anything. And the reason I don't get her anything is because if I'm only getting her something on Valentine's Day to show her how much I love her on February 14th only, I'm not a great husband. I get her stuff all throughout the year just to let her know how much I love her, let her that she's adored every day, 365, 24-7.
I mean, that sounds great in theory, but I get Kael and stuff too, but I also use Valentine's Day as a day to go, hey, this day is just an acknowledgement, like a pure acknowledgement of not every day, but let me do something I don't normally do.
Right. So that's my question. Like he literally does nothing. You do nothing? Well, he loves her awful hard. The other 365 days.
I don't do nothing. Her growing up, her mother's birthday is Valentine's Day. So he grew up with that being her month's birthday.
And of course, I don't want to be the guy, the one guy on the planet that doesn't do something special for his life on Valentine's Day.
So I do something just because I don't want to be that guy.
But again, I guess my point is that I've learned if that's the only day that I'm doing something special for her on a day where everybody else is too, then it's not really that special, I guess.
That's just how we look at it.
Here's what I learned.
I'm going to do something special throughout the year and I'm also going to do something special in Valentine's Day.
because everybody else says,
and I don't want her to be the one person
who's not getting that.
You know?
For years, though,
like even when you were just single
and not,
you all would always throw out to guys,
like, hey, hit her with the flowers at work.
A 13th.
Yeah, the day before
and really surprised her.
Yeah, because I don't get her.
Because she's probably expecting something
on the 14th.
But you can't not do it
just because everybody else says.
That's even worse.
If everybody else is getting something
and she doesn't,
I understand your point, Jason.
I appreciate.
calling and listen we all aspire to be as giving the other 3654 days man got a lot of work that guy
every day every day all right jason have a good day bud yeah all right see all right see later
christina and texas is on the phone christina what's going on i wanted to reach out to y'all and tell you
all a funny story from my son filming as an extra in 1883 oh okay hey where did he shoot that what
state was he in it was in guffrey texas at the four sixes ranch oh they shot it there at the four sixes
Yes, they did.
Okay, that's pretty cool.
All right, go ahead.
So, you know, I started watching Yellowstone in 1883 from watching or listening to y'all show.
And so there were about three or four boys that, you know, hung out the whole time.
And they didn't really know who Tim McGrawl or Fayette Hill really were.
So us as mom, you know, the moms had to go as guardians and keep an eye on them.
And so we kept pointing them out like, okay, there's Tim McGraw, there's Faith Hill.
Like, make sure you're cool.
Don't do anything that you're not supposed to.
and by the end of the week
they were all so excited that they got
to spend a week with them
and they just felt like, oh, that's cool,
that's Tim and Grail, that's Faith Hill.
And so we all started leaving
after we wrapped that night at the end of the week
and Timogrom, Faith Hill,
start walking off the set.
And they're holding hands
in one of the boys looks at my son
and he puts his hand over his mouth
and his eyes are real big and he goes,
oh my gosh, are they dating in real life?
The kids think that they're having a secret affair on set.
Like, dang, all the actors do hook up with each other.
Yes.
So then they were just like, you know, they all thought they had this huge secret.
And you would have, you would have thought they were going to sell this story to TMZ or something.
That's funny.
Well, thank you for sharing that with us.
And pretty cool they still hold hands when there's, you know, not a camera doing an interview.
Yeah, that is walking.
Yeah.
Well, thank you, Christina.
Thank you for the story and hope you have an awesome morning.
All right, bye-bye.
Let's do one more.
This is Chloe in Oklahoma City who's on the phone.
Bobby, that you were saying that you didn't really have role models for parents.
And I wanted to say you did have role modeling.
It just wasn't the pretty perfect role modeling.
It was just what not to do.
Well, I didn't only have a dad.
I mean, so you know not to do that.
So I know not to have.
I understand your.
point, meaning I just do the opposite of everything I was shown.
But I don't, I didn't have two parents that were just doing bad things.
I kind of had a dad who wasn't there and a mom who was there sporadically.
So I mean, I guess just be there would be what I, but I understand your point.
I don't completely vibe with it, but I get what you're saying.
And people were like, well, you learned what not to do.
So just do everything the opposite.
Feels like George Costanza on Seinfeld where he went against everything that he thought.
He just ran the eye.
So listen, I get it.
And I appreciate that call.
And okay.
Okay.
That doesn't settle me for my nervousness at eventually being a parent, but I do understand your sentiment.
I also wanted to say, I personally with my life experience, it was HE double hockey sticks.
What I learned from being a parent is you learn along the way.
There's no book on it.
There's a lot of books.
Yeah, there's a lot of books.
I've seen them for sale.
Like a ton of books.
They're a tool.
But she's right.
You will learn as you go.
Like, I can test that.
I'm sure every parent in this room would say,
like they're very different type of parent from day one to now.
Well, I believe that, and follow me on this.
Life's a day and you learn as you go.
Yeah.
Sometimes you lead and sometimes you follow.
The thing is, don't worry about what you don't know.
Why?
Well, I told you, life's a dance, you learn as you go.
Oh, okay.
That's good, man.
Thank you, Chloe.
Let's end on a positive little note here.
This is voicemail number one that we got late last night.
Here you go.
Good morning, guys.
I just wanted to say, freaking love the show.
Continue doing what you guys are doing.
I love the morning corny's.
They're super duper funny.
I got a good one.
Why didn't the toilet paper cross the road?
Because he was stuck in a crack.
All right, guys, have a good day.
The Bobby Bone Show.
Happy New Year.
Oh, Bobby Bones. Earlier this month, my wife and I went to a new restaurant. Our waiter and the food, both fantastic. I tip my waiter what I thought was 20 bucks. Fast forward to last week when my credit card bill was due. I saw I had accidentally tip $200 instead of 20. I was frantic and began searching for the receipt. I was able to find it in my jacket pocket. And sure enough, there it was. I accidentally tip $200 instead of $20.
Maybe the beers I had during dinner made me add an extra zero.
But anyway, it's been a couple weeks.
Am I out the $200?
Do you think I should call and explain what happened
and try to have them correct my tip from $220?
Or if I do, do you think the server will lose out on the tip?
Thanks, William.
Boy, that's drastic.
Well, yeah, the server will lose out on it.
This is what I would say.
If the mess up is keeping you from paying a bill,
you can probably call the restaurant and have them hopefully help you fix it.
If you're fine and that was just money that you were going to spend on playing golf, Starbucks, things that are not a necessity, I think you just eat it.
I think if you would have caught it a day after, you could have called back no problem.
But this waiter has probably already spent the money.
Yeah, I mean, I think that, yeah, you just have to learn from this.
Next time you have a few beers, you'll be a little more careful.
If this is imperative to your day-to-day life, paying the bills, keeping the lights on,
you got to make a call to the restaurant.
If it is not, you learned a valuable lesson, a $180 lesson.
But it's up to you.
If you're asking the question, I'm thinking that...
He wants it back.
I'm thinking that it's not that he must have it back and pay the bills or feed the kids.
What does the restaurant do here?
Do you think they'll give it back if he asks?
I don't know.
I think it depends.
on the management in the restaurant.
I think probably they give it back,
but I think who gives it back is where maybe the restaurant just goes,
here, we're going to pay this and they don't go back to the waiter.
That's a possibility, but it's not a probability.
Yeah, I mean, there has to be a lot of bars and restaurants that have dealt with this.
And maybe not even $200.
We could be talking like thousands of people just drinking too much and being like,
what up?
And then the next day, they're like, oh my goodness.
And if it were the next day, I would say, just go get your money back because it's
understandable and the person hasn't spent the money yet.
So this is my final verdict here.
If you can lose the money and not be subject to a credit or calling going,
hey, why don't you pay this bill?
Then just lose, you lost the money.
If you can't call and they'll figure it out.
But that's what I say.
Poor waiter, if you got a call back.
Oh, I know.
That waiter is 12.
This is probably a tell me something good somewhere where someone's like, wow, a nice man
left $180 extra to him.
William, I think you just lost the money, buddy.
That's what I think.
And if you have to ask, you probably have to leave him the money.
All right, William.
Thanks for the email, buddy.
There you go.
Let's go over and talk to Jim in Bakersfield, who was on the phone.
Hey, Jim, what's happening?
Hey, so I was listening to the story line about the tip.
And I think in this case, he's out.
He waited too long.
years ago for my mom and dad's 60th wedding anniversary there was probably with relatives and family
probably about 45 of us we left the staff about a $3,500 tip within probably an hour after we got
home they had called us the restaurant called us and said hey you know did you mean to do this
and we said yes we did so I think in this instance you know if the restaurant had called
that'd be one thing, but he's out the money.
That person probably already spent it.
Yeah, I think the fact that it took two weeks to notice and that he's emailing us,
he's probably going to be okay without it.
Yeah.
Otherwise, I do think if they're going to shut your water off,
you can probably call the restaurant and say it was an accident,
but that's probably not what's happening here.
But even then that you still might not get it back.
I know.
I know.
Hey, thanks for the call, Jim.
Appreciate that.
In the next segment, boy, do I have some stuff to talk about.
Boy,
hey, boy,
do I have some stuff to talk about.
I do want to talk about
something that they make
for women
that now they're making
for men.
And I just want to know
if any men on the show
would like to have this.
Okay.
Some of the men on the show
may really like to have it.
It's only known for women
for the most part.
I mean, I guess I can never
think of a band for a man.
A company that does lingerie for women
is doing a lace underwear for men.
Amy?
I don't really know.
if I have words. I don't know what,
who is this for? Men.
But, you know. Men.
Like, so men would say sometimes the lingerie,
I mean, the lingerie can be for the woman or the man.
Like, it can make you feel a certain way
and confident and all the things.
I never feel certain ways or confident.
Is there something I can wear that makes me feel certain ways
and confident? Maybe this.
Wow. Maybe.
The cost is around $35.
Many stylish colors,
they say. The material used
is an original men's lace,
which provides improved stretch and strength.
The lace itself features a large floral pattern,
elegantly finished with images of leaves and motives.
So here's the thing.
I don't think they should approach this the same way they approach lace with women.
It's not about flowers and leaves.
It's if you're going to appeal to men, it's footballs and hammers.
Yeah, motorcycle.
Yeah, that should be what the shapes are.
They did say men's lace.
Men's lace.
Yeah.
Again, it says again, original men's lace features floral patterns.
Right.
No, we, no, that's what we want.
We want soccer balls and sonic hamburgers.
Like if I had a Dallas Cowboys star on it, I'd be down to do this.
It would make us.
Okay, y'all would wear a lacy underwear as long as it had, like, you know, your things on it.
We're not saying we would.
We're saying there's a better chance of it.
Yeah, with the flowers, there's no chance.
I don't know if lace even feels good.
Uh-huh.
So.
I bet it breathes.
Try it out.
Order a pair, spin the wheel.
Order a pair and then someone.
Oh, God.
Here's what we do.
No, Amy.
I'm sorry.
We put all the dudes on the wheel
Oh, come on man
We spin it
It lands on them
And then we know the size we need to order
And then we order it
And the person's got to wear them for three days
They think they kind of packs of three
Okay
But not like model in it or anything
Just wear it and review it
Wait yeah, ooh, ooh, and you have to like
Surprise your significant other with it
It won't be a surprise
Because we've talked about it publicly now
We play the game
Oh, well they don't always listen
No, Caitlin never listens
but it pops up on Instagram sometimes.
Oh, yeah.
Like if we keep the club off Instagram,
which it could possibly be a surprise.
So that's what we should do.
We should spend the wheel, maybe later in the show.
Okay.
Are y'all different sizes?
Well, okay, assign sizes to us.
Well, I don't want to assign sizes.
I mean, I'm sure.
Sometimes it's stretching.
What size underwear would we all wear?
You could all wear a medium.
Me.
You could all wear a medium.
No, no, let's talk about it.
Me.
What size would I wear?
A medium.
A medium.
Okay, you're not playing the game.
Snug medium.
Eddie's not
Eddie's narrow
Yeah man I'm narrow
Listen to her
Do you ever want to be called narrow
Like fit I like
In shape
Thin that's okay
But narrow
Because I don't like
Commenting on people's bodies
But I think he's narrow
You started it by going
We're all the same size
That's commenting on the bodies
I just started it by being like
We don't have to spin the wheel to wait to order
Okay let's get the wheel ready
Just the dudes though
Okay
Mike D in this
Why would he not be
I feel like Skriwood wants to wear this
Like he's one of those weird dudes that
We're there's no problem
A win is a win
A win
A win is a win
I don't care what you're saying
Yep, that's me

In each episode, I interview athletes, adventurers, and adrenaline seekers

Look, money is something we all deal with, but financial literacy is what helps turn income into real wealth.
On each episode of the podcast, Earn Your Leisure, we break down the conversations you need
to understand money, investing, and entrepreneurship.
From stocks and real estate to credit, business, and generational wealth, we translate complex
financial topics into real conversations everyone can understand.
Because the truth is, most people will never taught how money really works.
But once you understand the system, you can start to build within it.
That means ownership, smarter investing, and creating opportunities not just for yourself,

It's time for the good news.
Tell me something good.
A mom in Atlanta pulled into a gas station and left the car running to run inside and get a drink.
Her nine-year-old son in the back seat.
Well, when she went inside, someone jumped in the car and drove off.
She's like, what am I going to do?
She calls 911 and she pulls out her iPhone and uses Find My iPhone app and tracks her son's iPhone
and gives the police detailed play-by-play instructions.
That's awesome.
And I believe now we know you should always give a nine-year-old an iPhone.
That's what we learned here.
That's what stuck out to me
is that a nine-year-old had an iPhone.
Let's go. They all get one.
That's crazy.
Let's sign that into law.
That's the craziest part of the story.
Yeah, I can't believe you had an iPhone.
So they found the kid.
They got the car.
Yeah, because she was able to go, oh, wait,
they're turning left on this street.
Oh, they're over here.
She came play by play.
That's crazy.
Doing fine my iPhone.
That's pretty cool.
Good job.
That's what it's all about.
That was tell me something good.
Let's go over.
I would like to talk to Rick in Arkansas.
all, Rick, welcome to the show. What's going on, buddy?
Good morning, studio.
Morning.
Hey, so I kind of want to touch base on the men's lace underwear.
Yeah.
Really? What are we doing, guys?
How are you going to be a man's man wearing lace underwear?
I agree. I agree with you. I didn't say we wanted to do this. I don't want to do this.
I'm embarrassed already. If we're putting something on the wheel, we don't want to do it.
So are you talking about us or are you talking about society?
No, just society.
Okay.
Yeah, good, good.
I mean, can you picture, you know, you're going a date, he's a man's man,
they get to the bedroom and boom, flowery lace underwear.
Where do you go with that?
Well, what if we normalized men wanting to wear more comfortable things?
To look with that.
You should.
I don't know that this is going to be comfortable.
We're going to find out.
Someone's going to find it.
Next segment, we'll bring the wheel in.
What happened about 25 minutes ago was we read a story about how they're making men's lace underwear now,
and you can order like a three-pack for 30.
And I don't know what it feels like to wear lace.
And I asked if anyone on the show would like, and no one wanted to do this.
So we're going to spin the wheel.
And I believe it comes in packs of three.
So whomever loses has to wear it over three.
Oh, wow.
I'm looking at, I mean, it's frilly lace.
Yeah?
Yeah.
Mike has got a picture up of it.
Oh, man.
It's like see-through on the back.
It's really lace, yeah.
How long until we get this in, Mike, if we order it?
Oh, they're out of stuff.
That's okay.
Well, we'll spend the well and we'll wait for it.
Okay.
Rick, as you can hear, none of us want to wear it.
I mean, out of stock has to say something.
Hey, they probably made like 10.
The person who gets it is secretly like, oh, I hate it.
And they're ordering more.
We'll spend the will in a second.
The Bobby Bone Show.
Happy New Year.
Missy in New York, you are on the Bobby Bone show.
Missy, how's it going?
It's going just fine. Good morning, studio.
Morning.
I find that so funny.
The bit about the lace underwear,
it comes in a pack of three.
And Amy said that all three of you guys
are pretty much the same size.
So why don't you all three wear them?
We're not the same size, though.
Amy just didn't want to comment on people's bodies.
She did, then she pulled back real quick.
It's stretching.
It can fit.
Who's a large?
I mean, comfortably, probably a large.
Maybe lunchbox.
Really?
Comfortably.
And I could go big, small or medium.
Like a big small or medium.
So we're just
I don't like to
A big small?
It's like T-shirts
I can wear small t-shirts
As long as they're on the larger
side of small
Same as underwear?
Yeah if I have to
I have to
All right
Let's do this
Let's spin the will
Whoever it lands on
We'll order the box
In three lacy's
They'll have to wear them
For three days in a row
And they have flowers on them
They do
Do we need another practice spin?
Nope, here we go.
Let's spin that wheel.
Come on.
It's all the guys on the show.
On a wheel.
Oh, no, oh no.
Oh, no.
Oh, no.
Eddie.
Yes.
Oh, my one ring.
Eddie.
Eddie.
It was meant to be.
My wife is going to kill you.
Why?
He doesn't want to see me in lingerie.
You never know.
But has she seen you before?
And now you know that.
No.
Then how long have you been married?
16 years.
Maybe this is just the spark to bring the fire back.
This is not good, dude.
So we'll order them.
Oh my gosh.
We have no idea when they're going to come in because they're out of stock right now.
But as soon as they're here, what size you want, buddy?
Large.
Let's go large, comfortable large.
You want small large or big large?
No.
Yeah, smaller large.
Yeah, this is not good.
All right, so Eddie lost.
Nice job, Eddie.
I've only one spot away.
Happy New Year.
Cheers y'all.
From the Bobby Bones show.
Let's play the Bobby Feud.
But you have a chance to win $100 today.
More money than ever before.
You have a chance to win $100.
The players are Amy, lunchbox, and Eddie.
So we asked about 3,000 of our Bobby Bone Show listeners.
That's been you replied.
New Year's resolution for 2024.
What are the top 10?
Amy, you won the dice roll.
Go ahead.
I feel like it's just always a common one, but like lose weight.
Show me lose weight.
Number one answer.
Wow.
Okay.
Yeah, I'm not going to do much for me.
So, oh, man, I feel like we all want to, would someone answer with this?
Okay, save money.
Would someone answer with it?
No, no, I switch.
You're trying to think of the bold?
That's the most generic, general one you could possibly.
Yeah, save money.
Yeah.
A lot of people did.
Three? Number three answer. No, no, I knew that one would be on there.
This is what I went away from.
They're going back to it now?
I'm going to go back to it.
Hopefully that's further down.
Sleep. Better. More sleep. Better, more sleep. More sleep.
Sleep, better sleep. Better sleep, more sleep. All right.
Oh, see, I took a risk because I thought maybe that'd be a 10, you know?
Yeah.
Let's go over to the lunchbox. Lunchbox, we had about 3,000 of our listeners.
Yeah. Top 10 resolutions.
Yeah. This bald guy next to me, he had this resolution a few years back and he reached his goal.
Pay off debt. Pay off debt.
No, you said save money. That's not paying debt.
Okay.
Show me pay debt.
Could go hand in hand, you know.
But it could have been that. That would have been two different ones, but it didn't. It's not.
Eddie? I'm going to go with working out.
Working out.
So.
That has nothing to do with losing weight.
Working out.
Exercise more.
Get healthier.
Yeah, I would say exercise more.
Number two.
Working out exercise, let's do that one.
Healthy.
Healthy.
Being healthy.
Okay.
I'm on the board.
Number two answer, though.
You got two points.
Working out.
I'm going to go with bones, read more.
People like to read for some reason.
They like to read, but they don't like to read, but then in the new year, they're like, I'm going to start reading more.
They like to say they want to read.
Yeah.
Show me.
What?
Okay, so after round one.
We're struggling.
Round one of three.
Amy with four points.
Lunchbox was zero.
Eddie with two.
It is round two, so points are doubled.
There are only three answers off the board.
One, two, and three.
To be healthier, exercise.
To lose weight, which is different, by the way.
We had to kind of define that.
Because you can lose weight to not be healthy.
We wanted to make sure everybody was happy with us on this.
That's a good point.
Yeah.
And then save money.
Yeah, drink less.
Oh, that's good, Amy.
Alcohol?
Yeah.
Drink less alcohol!
That is the number nine answer.
Wow.
Worth 18 points.
Okay.
I wouldn't have got that either.
I never want to do that.
Man, I'm trying to think of what.
Okay.
Maybe travel.
more.
Travel more?
Number eight answer.
Okay.
What on earth?
What in the world?
Yay.
How are these people?
This is fun.
Top 10 New Year's resolutions from our audience.
3,000 people answer.
Number one, exercise more.
Number two, be healthier.
Number three, save more money.
Number eight, travel more.
Number nine, drink less alcohol.
Drink more water.
She's drinking, and she's not drinking.
Show me water.
Lunchbox?
Oh, man.
It goes hand in hand with saving money.
And so I'm going to say eat out less.
You got to cook at home.
Cook those home-cooked meals.
It's a good one.
Yeah, cooking at home.
That was a good one.
It was a good one.
I don't understand.
I'm taking this one off of Morgan.
I'm going to go with a lot of people are trying to find a partner.
Find themselves a partner.
Let's go.
Get lucky.
All right, round three.
Final round.
Amy with 38 points.
Now you can make a lot of points up here.
Lunchbox zero, Eddie, two.
You have four, five, six, seven, and ten.
Oh, boy.
Big points on the board, Amy.
Okay.
Less screen time.
Show me less screen time.
Dang it.
That's what I have.
Okay, dokey.
Number 10.
Oh, okay.
Less time on screens or social media.
Dang it.
Not good.
Not good.
That's stupid.
Yeah, me too, man.
I have that too.
Okay.
That's all I got, though.
I went with the one of the two, and I've missed.
Good game Amy
Well you don't have to give up
Yeah there's still points
A lot of points in the board
Uh
Have fun
Oh I like that
Like do more fun
Fun stuff
Lunch box
He's out
He's dry
I'm really dry
Be dry
Be dry
Eddie
Oh no no no no no
That wasn't
No he threw in the towel
And you're like I got nothing
I'm dry
You said there aren't enough points
So dry
Get a new job
No, it's not it.
Eddie.
I don't see why I got better.
I've not even given an answer.
Find a hobby.
Show me a hobby.
Yes!
Number seven answer.
Yes!
21 points.
Learn a new skill or hobby.
Go ahead.
Let's go.
Did you really turn down a new job?
It's not on there.
Okay.
I'm going to go with...
No, I mean, we listen to him.
It's not a new job.
Okay, so it's not on there.
Let's go with Make More Friends.
Show me new friends.
Okay, stop.
Stop.
It's not part of you have fun.
Stop, it's not part of you to have fun.
That's hilarious, but it's not.
It was.
Number five answers, spend more time with friends and family.
Wow, wow, wow, wow.
What's the score?
Do I have a chance here?
What do I do?
Let's see, 10.30.
Yeah, you can tie if you get these two.
Okay, okay.
I have to get two.
There are two left.
There's four and six, which mean 10 points times three is 30.
They'll be tied, right, Mike?
Yeah, you get both things for a tie.
I told you there was enough points before lunchbox quit.
You can keep playing.
had points. I didn't.
I had a sleep ready. You're welcome.
Oh, I'm thinking. Thank you.
Bones, let's go with...
That was nice if you did. Thank you. Such a nice guy.
New year, new me, man. We're giving.
You know what? That was nice. I'm going to say that's a resolution. Be nicer.
Be nicer.
No, sorry.
Game's over.
I just gave it to you wasted it. What?
Give more. Donate. Volunteer.
That's be nice.
Oh, no. Improve mental health.
And stop smoking.
There you go with 68 points our winners.
Wow, wow, wow.
There are three versions of the game.
You can play the $20 game, one of three doors.
You could play the $50 game, which is one of five doors,
but you play the $100 game, which is one of 10 doors.
$100 game, let's go.
Okay, so I want you to think I have the doors all in front of me.
Now I have put behind this door, which I have drawn on the newspaper, a magic X.
I picked this door out when I open it at this sound.
Here's the door open.
If you hear this sound right here, you win $100 in cash.
Oh, what door do you not want?
Do I not want?
Yeah.
One.
One, I don't want that.
Show me door number one.
What other door do you not want that one?
So that's good.
I want that noise on the ones I don't.
Okay.
This game always seems to me.
Now there's only nine left.
You don't want that one.
Yeah, I don't want 10.
Let's open 10 up.
One and eight shot.
I don't want nine.
Okay.
She doesn't want nine.
Seven shot.
I don't want eight.
I don't want seven.
Hold on.
I'm trying to make my exes here.
Hold on.
Don't push my hand.
So we have two, three, four, five, six.
Okay, we have that block.
Right, those are all in line.
Okay.
You have two, three, four, five, and six.
What do you want?
You're going a little too fast.
No, I know.
Now I get to pick what I want instead of what I don't want.
Okay.
Okay.
Yeah.
Six.
Okay.
Are we going all the way down until you pick two?
Because if we are, just tell me what's two.
If you're going to pick another one of that still, it's fun unless you're walking me all the way down.
No, I'm just...
Okay, so you have two, three, four, and five.
So am I picking one I don't want?
Yes.
Okay, I don't want five.
Oh, my God.
So now you're the one and three shot of a hundred.
Yeah.
Okay.
Go ahead.
So what door, you have door number two, door number three, and door number four.
Did I want?
No, I don't want door to you not one.
Oh, my gosh.
Two.
I don't want two.
Okay.
Okay.
I don't want two.
down.
And I was like, if you want two, just take two.
I know.
I already had in my mind.
I was just going to guess four.
Oh, that's good.
Sorry, you didn't win anything.
That was fun, though.
Yeah, that was fun, though.
Thank you, thank you.
A win is a win.
A win is a win.
I don't care what you're saying.
Yep, that's me, Cliver Taylor the 4th.
You might have seen the skits, the reactions, my journey from basketball to college football,
or my career in sports media.
Well, somewhere along the way, this platform became bigger than I ever imagined.
And now I'm bringing all of that excitement
to my brand new podcast, The Clifford Show.
This is a place for raw, unfiltered conversations
with some of your favorite athletes, creators,
and voices that not only deserve to be heard, but celebrated.
One week, I'll take you behind the scenes
of the biggest moments in sports and entertainment.
And the next, we'll talk about life, mental health,
purpose, and even music.
The Clifford Show isn't just a podcast.
It's a space for honest conversations,
stories that don't always get told,
and for people who are chasing something bigger.
So if you've ever supported me or you're just chasing down a dream, this is right where you need to be.

the podcast, a slight change of plans, a show about who we are and who we become when life makes
other plans. We share stories and scientific insights to help us all better navigate these periods
of turbulence and transformation. There is one finding that is consistent, and that is that
our resilience rests on our relationships. I wish that I hadn't resisted for so long
the need to change. We have to be willing to live with a kind of uncertainty.
that none of us likes.
Listen to a slight change of plans on the I-Heart Radio app,
Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
On a recent episode of the podcast, Money and Wealth with John Hobriant,
I sit down with Tiffany the budgetista Aliche to talk about what it really takes
to take control of your money.
What would that look like in our families if everyone was able to pass on wealth
to the people when they're no longer here?
We break down budgeting, financial discipline,
and how to build real wealth,
starting with the mindset shifts, too many of us were never, ever taught.
Financial education is not always about, like, I'm going to get rich.
That's great.
It's about creating an atmosphere for you to be able to take care of yourself
and leave a strong financial legacy for your family.
If you've ever felt you didn't get the memo on money,
this conversation is for you to hear more.

And our podcast, Game Recognized Game has never been done before.
Two active players giving you a real look at our lives and what we actually think, on and off the court.
Nothing's off limits. We talk trade requests.
What's the vibe of that when it's like your star player is like, well, I want to leave?
And then actually now I'm going to stay.
We talk tanking.
I mean, honestly, like, I might get in trouble for this answer,
but I think it's, like, definitely happening in the WBA.
And yeah, we talk about our mistakes, too.
They pulled me to the side and was like, hey, man,
we got a call last night, man,
you can't be rolling around the city like this tonight before games,
no, you know, doing this, doing whatever.
And, of course, family stories.
And we're like, Mommy, why did you miss that?
Mommy, do you play basketball?

Hi, everyone.
I'm Cheryl Stray, author of Wild and Tiny Beautiful Things.
I'm excited to share that I have a new podcast called Mind Over Mountain.
In each episode, I interview athletes, adventurers, and adrenaline seekers
to discuss the inner landscapes and life experiences
that informed and inspired their extraordinary feats.
I also bring a bit of advice into the mix,
So we too can better understand how to face our own seemingly insurmountable challenges.
Do you know what I'm going to do?
I'm going to pull out what you already have inside.
We're coming into this world, fighting for our lives.
All I'm going to do is pull out what you already got inside.
We're there to support and celebrate each other.
And that's not like your story versus my story.
You're going to walk up and over that dang mountain.
You're not just going to put your mind over it.
Yep, yep, exactly.
And if I can't walk up and over it, I'm going to go through it.
Listen to mind over mountain.

It's time for the good news.
With Bobby.
Tell me something good.
So there's this woman named Linda.
She lives in Minnesota, and she's lived in the same town for like 20 years.
She volunteers a lot in the town, so the community feels like they know her.
They actually call her the mother of the neighborhood.
Well, she had some hard times personally, and she did not have the money to pay rent for her place.
And she was going to get evicted.
but some of the community members were like, hey, we should do something here to make sure she doesn't get evicted.
So not only did they just do something to pay her rent.
They actually went to an art museum.
They had a fundraiser and raised enough for her to what it looks like is to put a down payment on a house.
Yes.
So she's going to have a place to live and possibly have it be her own.
And they were like, she's lived here and lived for us for so long.
This is what we felt like we should do.
A pretty cool story there.
That's great.
Maybe they help out with a couple of mortgage payments too.
Yeah, sure.
Love your neighbor
A few gift cards here and there too
Uber eats, Eddie gets some good Uber Eats cards
Maybe get a one of those
Why not, buddy?
Great story, that's what it's all about
That was tell me something good
Let's go over to Amy and get in
The Morning Corny
The Morning Corny
What do you call two eggs living together
What do you call two eggs
Living together?
Co-existent
Oh, eh.
It's coexisted.
Exactly.
That was the morning corny.
Happy New Year.
Cheers y'all.
From the Bobby Bones Show.
Bobby Bones Show.
Bonehead.
Norrie of the day.
This story comes us from Scranton, Pennsylvania.
A couple buddies were hanging out on a Friday night.
It's about midnight.
One guy goes, hey, man, I'm going to cook some potatoes.
You want some?
He's like, no, I don't want your potatoes.
My guy took the frying pan and started
beating him over the head with it saying what my potatoes aren't good enough for you my potatoes
aren't good enough for you then he fled the apartment but he didn't get far because he forgot to
put his shoes on oh i'd imagine there's some substance here uh they believe alcohol was involved
yeah i believe that but the potatoes weren't good enough for him like what maybe he didn't like
potatoes well that could be it yeah okay i'm lunchbox that's your bonehead story of the day
Amy and I were talking right before we came back on air, and I was like, hey, we went to dinner last night at this place.
It's called, like, Yulon.
What's it called?
Yulon.
So, I hadn't heard of it either, but, and so we go and I order this Noki, which I've never been quite sure what Noki is.
I'm pretty sure it's potatoes at this point.
Yes.
Yeah.
But it feels like a noodle in your mouth.
It's like a potato pasta.
It's like potato on your plate, noodle in your mouth.
Wow.
Yeah.
It's so, Noki is so good.
Well, and I didn't know if Noki had meat in it, and it didn't.
I learned last night.
But I looked at the menu
and it was a little expensive
for Nokia.
Because most Nokia is I get
Olive Garden.
I'll be honest with you.
That's how I usually roll.
I get the Nokia with
some meat olive garden.
And so they bring it
and they're like,
oh, we're going to get you,
we're going to put some truffles on this.
It doesn't,
truffles,
they do nothing for me.
Like you just don't taste them?
It looked like they were putting
tree bark.
And I'm sure if you're a truffles fan,
it's amazing.
So they're like...
They're like...
Shaved it.
Shaving it.
Oh.
And Caitlin's like,
that looks beautiful.
I just don't...
For me, I just,
I guess,
I'm not sophisticated
enough to love a truffle.
I love truffle.
Chocolate truffles.
Oh, yeah, those are good.
Those are good.
Yeah, that's not what they're shaving on there.
And that place was really good.
It's just the truffle thing
is weird to me.
But we ate it and it was good.
It was good food.
We were out probably way too late
last night, 845 or so.
Oh.
That's way too late for me nowadays.
Wild.
It was a really good place to eat, though.
And it had been a while since we got to go out and just have dinner and talk.
And, you know, not worry about the kids.
Yeah, of course, yes.
Get away from the house.
You need that sometimes.
If you're a new listener, Bobby doesn't have kids.
Okay, that's what's up.
Morgan, what's on the podcast today?
Eddie and Avi are going skydiving.
So we talked to the Army Golden Knights, you know, about how it's all going to go.
Yeah, and they were like 50-50 they live.
Let's be honest.
That was kind of there.
I don't were.
Yeah, yeah.
But they said they have a little.
Only one of them gets a parachute.
They have emergency protocol that they follow.
They free themselves.
No, but listen to that because tomorrow, during the show, on the show, Eddie and Abby are going to skydive.
We'll see how that goes.
So, yeah.
What do you mean we'll see how that goes?
I'll see how it goes.
I've never done that live on the air before.
Like, it's going to be fine.
There's a lot of things.
One, will you live?
Two, will both of you live?
Right.
Three, will the signal cut out when you're in the plane?
I don't know.
Okay.
I don't know.
We'll see.
We will see.
We will see.
We will see you tomorrow.
Goodbye, everybody.
