or my career in sports media.
Well, now I'm bringing all of that excitement
to my brand new podcast, The Clifers Show.
This is a place for raw,
unfills of conversations with athletes,

When a group of women discover
they've all dated the same prolific con artist,
they take matters into their own hands.
I vowed. I will be his last target.
He is not going to get away with this.
He's going to get what he deserves.
We always say that trust your girlfriends.
Listen to the
Girlfriends, trust me, babe, on the IHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.
I got you. I'm Agoode. My next guest, it's Will Ferrell.
Woo, woo, woo, woo. My dad gave me the best advice ever. He goes, just give it a shot.
But if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit.
If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration. It would not be on a calendar.
of, you know, the cat just hang in there.
Yeah, it would not be.
Right, it wouldn't be that.
There's a lot of luck.
Listen to thanks dad on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Hey, welcome to Tuesday's show.
Morning, studio.
Morning.
All right, let's go around the room and check in with everybody.
A dad of four who likes the Cowboys is a way to describe him and his recent workouts have had him looking slim.
It's producer ready.
All right, I want to ask you guys a question.
Would you get a tattoo at a party?
If it was a free tattoo artist, it's free, you're at a party, would you get one?
Yeah.
Maybe.
Would?
Yeah.
Maybe.
It just depends who, yes.
It depends who it is.
But it's not like your choice.
They have like, you know, 10.
Oh, no, it has to be the choice.
No, no, they have 10 like on a board.
Like you choose from this 10.
Oh, well, that's different.
Yeah, that's way different.
If it's like, hey, we'll do a small tattoo of your choice.
And because I already have tattoos, if it was my first tattoo, no.
Unless it was my party.
Yeah.
Why do you ask that?
Because there's a guy that works in our building who went to Jelly Roll's number one party,
and he had a tattoo artist there.
And this guy doesn't have tattoos.
Oh, wow.
He's just had a few drinks.
And he's like, you know what?
That sounds fun.
He got a tattoo.
And it was like a whiskey glass with like an ice cube in shape of a skull.
That was the tattoo.
He got in his ankle.
And I'm like, dude, you're crazy.
His ankle?
On his ankle.
A lot of things wrong with that.
For me, not for him.
I love it because he'll always have that memory.
That's really cool.
You go to jelly roll as number one party?
That's what he said.
That's awesome.
That's awesome.
That's awesome.
That's awesome.
That's awesome.
Yeah.
Would I get a tattoo at a party?
Sure.
If I could go give me this little razor back.
Oh.
Or give me this, you know.
I'm surprised you don't have a razor bag.
I have a little hog.
I would.
I do have the state of Arkansas.
Yeah, but you don't have a hog.
I know.
I don't get you one of that.
But I, or give me Arkansas and Oklahoma with that connection.
Because those two states are connected, me and my wife.
But I wouldn't take a skull shot glass.
What about the dragon?
A dragon?
A dragon?
A shark?
No, I don't think so.
Good for him, though.
Yeah, yeah, I thought that was funny.
Sounds like he'll have to cover it up pretty soon, but good for him.
His hobbies include playing rec soccer and going for a run.
And if there's an artist who says someone made him uncomfortable on this show, he's probably the one.
It's lunchbox.
I never just want to know about superstitions because I was watching this clip on Twitter and Mario Chalmers,
who used to play in the NBA, played for the Miami Heat.
He played with LeBron James, and he was talking about what the superstitions that LeBron James had before every year.
single game.
That man would lay his whole outfit on the floor
for the game and make sure everybody
walks around it. You better walk
around it. Don't walk over it.
Oh, one time the media walked over the jersey,
he snapped and
he made the equipment man go get him a whole new jersey
shorts, tights, headband, arm band, socks
and laid it right back out.
He'd go, you know, he'd walk all the way around it.
Like, it's a chalkout line.
That's funny. Yeah, and because I know Bobby
we used to play Kanye every morning. That was
superstition for like three years.
I played Kanye.
Welcome to the Good Live.
Every morning.
Really?
Yeah, it was cool because it's like we were starting the show.
Yeah, I played it once and we had a good show.
And then it was kind of the, I would say the incline of the show's success early, early.
And I was like, I'm not changing that up.
It was stupid.
So what happened?
Why did you stop doing it?
I don't know.
You had one bad show.
You're like, never again.
I don't know.
We might have got sued or something.
There's always a reason to pivot out, but we did it for years.
and I'm not really a big superstition guy,
but I will keep superstitions going just in case I'm wrong.
Yeah.
Because I have been wrong before.
So, you know, I think even Lunchbox will do the clothes thing
where if he's wearing clothes, right,
if your team's winning or if you won last game, you put him back on.
You wear him, you don't wash them.
If things are going bad at half time, you change clothes.
If your team is winning, you can't go to the bathroom
and you can't eat while they're playing.
I mean, all that.
We invent ways for us to feel like we have control of something
that we have no control over.
You know what I've been doing the last couple of years?
is I wake up with a tune in my head every day.
There's some random song in my head every single day,
and so on the way into work, I have to play it.
So I find it on my streaming service, and I play it.
Interesting.
Whenever that is.
If I decide to listen to music in the morning,
if I'm coming in, and I don't always,
I'll bet the whole day is going to go,
like the first song that happens to pop up,
which I don't know what it is.
And if it's a song I really like,
I'm like, it's going to be a great day.
And if not, then I'm like,
oh, now I really got to focus hard because that song sucks.
And this day's going to be tough if I don't get what.
Don't you feel like if you're saying,
it's going to be a tough day, then you'll be looking for tough things to happen and it'll seem like a tough day?
No, it's all stupid. All this is stupid in my brain.
I'm not even saying that's legitimate.
Yeah, no, no, but I do feel that way and I'm like, it's going to be tough.
So then I work even harder to make it not tough.
All right, thank you, lunchbox.
Amy, her woman of our heart country show just won an award, which had her dinner table erupt.
But if you're a guest on our podcast, don't forget to tell her she needs to turn your mic up.
Here she is.
Thank you.
Okay, so I think maybe a month and a half ago or so, I downloaded this brain app called Impulse.
and it's a daily thing where you go on and they give you different exercises for your brain.
And I told you all that I went ahead and paid for the year because why not?
It was cheaper that way.
You could either pay month to month or pay for the year.
And I have currently a streak of two days in a row.
How many days ago?
It says beat your shirt like many, many, many days went by before I walked on again.
Have you seen the commercial where the guys like, you know, I subscribed to the brain pills, but then I forgot to untie.
Right.
It's like I forget to use it.
Yeah, weird.
This is the problem.
Yeah.
So right now my current streak is sitting at zero, but my best streak is two days.
I did that in a row.
Like an app, like the Teza app I bought for a year.
What's that?
It's supposed to be like picture, like better filters.
And I paid like $2.99 a month, but for a whole year, I've used it one time.
Yeah, that's ridiculous.
Because I don't even do stuff on pictures.
I just post it and let it roll.
So I've done that too.
I got that one app, one time that where you take a second.
video like a second, only one second of video every day for 365 days.
And then at the end of the year, it'll put all those one seconds together and make this really cool video.
How many total seconds?
Like four.
Four seconds.
He's over aides.
But gosh, if you could complete something like that, it'd be really cool.
You should put the note on your front screen because then you'll always see it.
Oh, yeah. Impulse.
If you're going to remind yourself to do it.
That's where we look the most.
All right, Ray, go ahead.
From Mount Pine, Arkansas.
He always has his mic turned on and it's always before dawn.
Bobby Bones.
Thank you very much.
Is that another dig at me?
He was just doing improv off of what we just said.
I like it.
Yeah.
I was watching a video of a new sport that I think we'd probably get hurt playing,
but it'd be hilarious if we could get a place to do it.
Have you guys seen ice football?
No.
Where they play basically tackle football but on a hockey rink?
No.
That does not seem safe.
It's hilarious.
And it's not just the fastest.
And you're playing in shoes.
You're not playing in...
So you're sliding everywhere?
Everywhere.
Are you wearing pads?
I think.
they were lightly padded, but you can't really
even get the momentum to hit somebody that hard.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. But you need elbow pads.
Are you watching my? Yeah, I'm seeing people dress
like their hockey players. Elbows and knees, I know
they for sure had. I'm down. And maybe it's like
hockey stuff because it's smaller than football.
There are two of these I wanted to bring in. If we can find
a rink to do that, hilarious. The other thing is
I've watched people play soccer with a bowling
ball. Oh, gosh.
No, not on ice.
No, yes, it does
if you try to kick it hard. Yeah.
But soccer with a bowling ball looks hilarious. So these are two
items I'm submitting to the show that we could
build, go do somewhere
and I think that would be hilarious.
Somebody would end up hurt, no doubt. Oh, for sure.
But it would be good content.
I'm voting for football and ice.
That would be awesome. If we could find ice for you.
Yeah, like they're a state, oh, they have helmets on too.
Yeah, there are states, or excuse me, countries that have it as like one of their big sports.
Even when he scores a touchdown, he slides into the wall.
I know. Isn't that hilarious?
That's really funny.
That is not look safe.
No.
Never said it was that safe.
Just find out.
But how old are those people doing it?
I don't men.
It's just hard to move, but they look old.
Okay, okay.
I'm just, the older we get, the less agile and, you know.
I don't need a little.
What about your hips?
I'm pretty good.
I'm pretty good.
I will hurt something.
Right.
I'm not arguing that we're all going to get through this unscathed.
I'm just saying it's going to be hilarious.
Okay.
So if we can find an ice rink, we should play football.
Get a little three-on-three game going, right?
I'm down.
All right.
Let's open up the mail bag.
Do you send an email and we read it on.
the air. It's something we call Bobby's mailbag. Yeah.
Hello, Bobby Bones. I'm having a problem with my in-law staying too long when they visit.
I'm going to peel off for a second. Does it, no long answers, but does anyone else have this problem?
Sure. Okay. I'm a good thing to hang. Just listen closely. Well, you don't have in-laws anymore.
Oh. Yeah. Correct. Yeah, cool. My wife and I have been married for 10 years. We have three kids,
seven, four, and two. Over Christmas break, they stayed for three weeks. Oh, that's a long time.
A long time.
In your past, you had the unlaws, though, so you can relate.
I did.
Yeah, I don't have it.
She's making sure everybody knows.
They didn't die or anything.
Right.
Amy just got divorced.
Right.
Her love died.
I didn't make too much of a stink because of the holidays, and I didn't want to ruin
that time for our kids, but I want them to leave.
Even a week was long.
They just told my wife they want to come back in April and stay for two weeks.
They just left.
They want to come for two weeks because it's my wife's and son's birthdays and back-to-back
weeks.
This is too much.
A weekend is fine.
few days okay but they always insist on staying for weeks at a time my wife said if i have a problem
with it that i'd have to dress it with them because she has no problem with them being here for that long
any advice on how to deal with this sign son-in-law who's reached the final straw i don't have i have in-laws
but i don't have an issue with the only thing that i have an issue with and i'll let you guys
talk about the real issue he's asking about and it it i don't like that she's like you have to tell
him because i'm already on their team i try as hard as i can even when i'm on
uncomfortable.
Even, we kind of make a decision.
And I know we won't always be good at this once like kids are in the picture.
We try to make a decision, even if one of us disagree with it.
And then we present it as a unit.
So we're also not divided.
Absolutely.
That's hard.
That's everything in life.
And sometimes I don't do a good job at accepting it.
And I'm like, yeah.
Okay.
I can't wait to come to Oklahoma.
And they're like, well, that didn't sound like you really wanted to come, but I'm still
presenting it.
You know?
So, but we don't have the issue with the in-law staying too.
I wish they would come more for now.
of now anyway. Eddie. Yeah, so we don't have the issue much anymore, but we did in the past.
And the older I've gotten, I've realized that family is important. And in-laws, they're not going to be here forever.
Three weeks. I understand. But they're older, you know, and they're not going to be with us very long.
So, I get it. It's a long time. But stick it out, man. It's important that the in-laws come.
And especially if you have grandchildren or whatever that they want to see,
you got to just suck it up and let them stay.
Holidays and then April.
You're talking about six, seven weeks over December 10 March.
You're talking about over a month within five months.
I know.
I know.
I'm talking about 20% of your life.
I didn't see Eddie folding like a lawn chair.
When I was younger, I was like, no, uh, get them out of here.
But now that I'm older, I'm like, look, we're going to lose them soon.
So like, let's let them hang out.
Give them a kidney, dude.
You know what I'm saying?
Eddie is now killing them off.
Older grandparents.
But is it because you have four kids and you want the extra babysitting?
No, no, no.
Are you kidding?
That's one of the best things about, Eddie.
It is, but they don't come very often anymore.
Like, they used to come, like, oh, my parents.
That's why it's not an issue anymore.
They've been diagnosed with anything.
Are they had to die?
No, no.
Okay, let me go to lunchbox.
Lockbox, go ahead.
Look, a week is fine.
Three weeks, absolutely unacceptable.
If they want to go stay an hour outside of town and come, you know, once.
Wow, that's hard on them.
What's what I'm saying.
Yeah.
After a week, you got to go and you got to step up and if your wife won't do it, you got to have the conversation like, look, guys, we love you.
We appreciate you.
Our kids loving you having you around.
But three weeks is like you're moving in and you're paying rent.
You are becoming new roommates.
It is a burden.
How would you say it to them?
It's a burden.
No, but how would you say it to them?
I'm going to be an in-law.
Yeah.
Or watchbox.
Hey, I'm coming for three weeks.
Hey, Earl, you know what I mean?
We love having you here.
And we appreciate how much love you show our kids.
but three weeks is pushing it a little too far.
I think if you want to come for a week, go away for a couple weeks, come back for a week.
That would be fine, Earl.
Spaced it out.
Yeah, but at this time.
I only got money for one plane ticket.
Well, that's something you've got to figure out, Earl.
Like rent a car, I don't know.
My son says, that sounds like a you problem.
And so we're going to set the limit at one week.
After that, you're on your own.
And you would say it like that.
After that, you're on you know.
to hear this. I just feel like the presentation wouldn't be like that.
Okay. I'll talk to Earl right now.
I personally think there's different seasons in life where it is very helpful to have them and
it also is contingent upon the dynamic they bring to the family. Some in-laws bring
drama and it's no fun. Other in-laws can be very helpful and contribute to running the household
smoothly. There was a season when I was married where my in-laws were with us for over a month
and it was the biggest blessing ever.
And I would be like, you were welcome to come anytime.
But they pitch in.
They try to help.
They want to be a part of things and they're not in the way.
But it feels like that's not the case here because he wouldn't be writing.
If he were in happy season within laws, I don't think he'd be writing this email.
Well, then that's the case.
I think his wife might need to be like, oh, hey, I see that you're feeling that way.
Let's come up with a compromise and let's present together.
She's not because she said she has no problem being here and he should talk to them.
That's not a team.
Be okay with it, man.
It's not a team.
Okay, so this is what I would say.
They need to compromise.
Just in general with the rules,
she doesn't feel like she wants to compromise.
You don't want them to be there.
You got to take a small L to get a big W.
And that small loss is going,
look, I was wrong.
I think it's great if they come back.
But you have to understand three weeks.
It's difficult on, enlist out the ways
that it's practically,
practically, it's difficult.
Let's do two.
That's even uncomfortable for me.
But let's do the two weeks.
One, the kids' birthday one.
And then that's us meeting.
It's not even meeting in the middle.
You're taking a small L for a big W.
And that's where you have to meet her because she's already dead set on it.
And it's her parents.
You know what we do sometimes?
We buy the airplane tickets.
Sorry.
Lights are set.
So you can't change them.
Dang, dude.
Or you create a website.
I thought that they were getting older.
You do a fake eviction.
Yeah.
Somebody shows up.
Everybody's got to move.
So you move all your stuff out.
Whatever you got to do.
Yeah, I think on this one, they're going to come.
Your wife wants them to come.
Oh, man.
You gotta take a small L for a Big W here.
The Big W is not three weeks.
The small L is they're going to come anyway,
so maybe you can just get,
you have to give up two weeks.
I think this is a big opportunity to be a team.
So positive.
No, I think it's a good opportunity to go to your wife and say,
Hey.
He's already been.
Go again.
Because I mean, they've got to,
if this is a problem in this situation,
it's a problem in other situations,
where they're not like,
hearing each other.
I agree.
That's a fundamental issue, though.
I don't think it's going to be fixed
in time for making this decision, though.
Because they're not going to be around long.
No, Eddie, stop killing people.
All right, that's the mailback.
Close it up.
We've got your email,
and we've got to close.
Bobby's Mailback.
Yeah.
This clip got leaked to the internet.
I'm going to play it now.
Out of context,
maybe it doesn't sound the best.
But on this show,
we all worked together.
We've worked together for some of us.
18 years.
And so Amy and I do a countdown every week in a national countdown.
And I was just giving her a hard time.
This isn't like the clip where Christian Bale's like,
Good for you.
That clip's awesome.
And it's 50 seconds long.
And Amy just kept messing up over and over.
We saved this.
But without context, you don't really know that I'm just giving her a hard time.
We'll be the judge of that.
No, you were in the room.
We were doing it.
We'll see.
So it's less than one minute long.
I want to play you this.
Go ahead.
A request for Chris Young and Kane Brown
Famous Friends here on the country top 30
When we come back, we'll keep talking with our guest, Keith Urban.
We've got some paparazzi questions for him.
We're actually show him a photo and see what he thinks of it.
And then we've got...
I don't know.
We start over with the country minute.
Everybody back in.
We're starting over.
Everything.
When we come back, we'll keep talking with our guest, Keith Urban, about paparazzi photos of him.
And we'll keep the countdown moving along.
We'll come back.
We'll keep talking with our guest, Keith Urban.
We've got a paparazzi photo to show him.
him of him. I'm about to strangle
you. I'm kidding.
When we come back, we'll keep talking with our guest
Keith or Ben. We've got a paparazzi photo
of him to show him.
Amy, I'm about to tell you. Just do it.
Just do it your way. It's written for you. Oh my God.
You show him the photo. Let's stab you in an eye with a
pen. Okay, here we go. That was
a request for Chris Brown.
You've infected me.
Chris Brown, okay.
When I say I'm going to stab her in the eye with a pin
or I'm going to kill her dead.
Dang, dude. No. That's
It was just joking.
How mad were you at her at that point?
But also, you did realize that part of the script.
It was written for you.
So I was thrown off because you're the one that showed.
You show Keith Irvin the photo.
No, no, no.
But we're not.
It said I and I didn't.
But I just hand, but all the time I just hand you things.
No, no, even then.
I know.
I know I can improvise.
No, no, it's not about you messing up.
It's only about I was kidding.
I wasn't going to stab her in the eye with a pen.
Sounds like you're going to stab me now.
I wasn't going to kill her.
Are you mad now, dude?
No, it was just kidding.
But you know how people are on the internet.
All of a sudden they run with it.
They're like, this sounds like work, like harassment.
And do you know how hard she laughed at me when I said Chris Brown instead of Chris Young?
Yeah, yeah, yeah, that was funny.
That was really funny.
If she were really scared, she wouldn't do that.
I'm with Amy, though.
That was weird.
You have a paparazzi picture of Keith Urban to show to Keith Urban?
He did, yeah.
All she has to do.
It doesn't matter.
It's not about that.
It's about the fact that it's weird, man.
That's not real.
If you see even a quote in a news article where radio host threatens the co-host
in eye with Penn.
It was a joke.
And if you can't hear that, then that's on you.
I just don't hear Amy sticking up for me either as I do this.
Yeah, you're totally.
Stop.
I feel like people know you're joking.
Am I supposed to stick up for you?
This is a total joke.
You did hear.
You can tell they're being sarcastic.
I'm scared of you now.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Yeah, it was funny.
Regardless, this is my official statement.
That was a joke.
Maybe when a mic's on, I shouldn't say I'm going to kill you
or I just stab you in the eye with the pen.
Lesson learned. That's the relationship that we have here, right, everybody?
Yeah.
Ish.
Yes.
It's a little hostile.
Yes, Bobby, that's what are we're supposed to say.
Let me look at my script.
Yes.
It's time for the good news.
With lunchbox.
Stay home, there's something good.
If you ever find yourself on a road trip and you want to stop in Wyoming, Michigan,
and grab yourself a beer at three gatos brewery, it's a great idea.
How would you say in Spanish?
That's three cats.
Three cats.
Gris, got those.
So.
So.
The owners are from Brazil originally and they wanted to recreate that environment of a boutetka where everybody comes.
How does you say that?
Boteca.
Boteca.
Boteco.
Boteca.
Bodeca.
Bodeca.
That's like a convenience.
It's Poteco.
Oh my God.
Now he can't even know he says it.
Thank you.
How do you say it?
Boteco.
Boteco.
Just like I said.
Okay.
So what they do is they want a family environment.
Bring your family the neighborhood establishment.
Well, at this place, it's a pay it forward system.
pretty much everyone gets their drinks for free
because the person before them has paid for their drinks.
But it's not free because you've got to pay for the person behind you.
But they don't pay for their own drinks.
So you can leave like two beers for a construction worker
and you put it on the board.
And a construction worker comes in, gets the two beers.
Yeah, lunchbox would buy a construction hat.
He paid more money.
He paid more money to pay for a construction hat than he would the beers
so he could go on and get the beers for free and the construction worker.
Okay, a boutteco in Brazil is a place where alcoholic beverages are sold.
A bar.
Got it.
Yeah.
Could have just said bar.
You say
It's a periscan bar.
No, I don't think it's just a bar
Because I think like you can go buy
The beer or the alcohol and leave.
Yeah, but so Linus and Renata de Palola
You have too much Spanish for him
Because I wouldn't try all this. Go ahead.
They are the creators of this brewery
So if you are ever in Wyoming, Michigan,
stop by three catoes brewery
And you get a free beer.
Hey, real quick, hey, Mike Dee, would you grab the story
And just give us a quick question?
I just nailed it.
I know, no, no, you did.
You did a great job.
But if someone's listening and they wanted to hear the actual...
Regato.
Well, it's also Brazil, so it's Portuguese.
Yeah, it's different.
Yeah, man, it's not Spanish.
Okay, you didn't even know that.
You just see all this different from the...
No, no, no, they see Portuguese because No Way Jose in high school, he moved to our high school from...
Wait, no way Jose was a guy?
Yeah.
That was a nickname?
His name was Jose.
You called him Noee-Hose?
Yeah.
That was his name.
No way Jose.
And he was one of the best...
No, that's not his name, it's a nickname.
Well, whatever.
Yeah, yeah.
One of the best soccer players I've ever seen in my life.
He was fun.
phenomenal.
And so he transferred in for a year because his dad was working and he was from Brazil.
So that's how I knew they speak Portuguese.
No way.
Cool story.
I mean, he probably was thrown because Gato in Spanish and Portuguese is the same.
That's the way Portuguese is weird.
Like every 20th road word is Spanish.
Really?
Yeah.
So it throws me off.
Because otherwise.
I would have nailed it.
Yeah.
So there you go.
Free beers.
I mean, pay it forward at three Gatos brewery.
Like it.
That's what it's all about.
That was tell me something.
good. A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care what I'm saying. Yep, that's me,

There's two golden rules that any man should live by.
Rule one, never mess with a country girl.
You play stupid games, you get stupid prizes.
And rule two, never mess with her friends either.
We always say that trust your girlfriends.
I'm Anna Sinfield, and in this new season of the girlfriends,
oh my God, this is the same man.
A group of women discover they've all-day.
the same prolific con artist.
I felt like I got hit by a truck.
I thought, how could this happen to me?
The cops didn't seem to care.
So they take matters into their own hands.
I said, oh, hell no.
I vowed.
I will be his last target.
He's going to get what he deserves.
Listen to the girlfriends.
Trust me, babe.

I'm Ego Wood.
My next guest, you know from stepbrothers,
Anchorman, Saturday Night Live, and the Big Money Players Network.
It's Will Ferrell.
Woo.
Woo.
My dad gave me the best advice ever.
I went and had lunch with them one day, and I was like, and dad, I think I want to really
give this a shot.
I don't know what that means, but I just know the groundlings.
I'm working my way up through, and I know it's a place that come look for up and
coming talent.
He said, if it was based solely on talent, I wouldn't worry about you, which is really sweet.
Yeah.
He goes, but there's so much.
much luck involved.
And he's like, just give it a shot.
He goes, but if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall
and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit.
If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration.
It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat.
Just hang in there.
Yeah, it would not be.
Right, it wouldn't be that.
There's a lot of luck.
Listen to thanks, Dad, on the IHeartRadio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever

Three of these.
What's wrong with people?
What's wrong with people?
Deer Creek School District in Oklahoma from KOKH.
Released the same of a Friday afternoon after a video was sent to the news station
that showed students licking toes during a school event.
What was the class?
There's a lot of backlash.
No, not what's the class.
What were they learning?
A lot of backlash where students were licking toes as part of a fundraising event.
Now the school is saying the kids volunteered to do it ahead of time.
What?
The week was spent raising money for not your average Joe coffee,
which employs people with disabilities.
The district said they host an assembly called
Clash of Classes.
They volunteered to spend in different class competitions.
Students were paired up for the competition
where students were seen licking other students' toes.
Just somebody should have stepped in.
Right.
Because I'm watching it.
It's like, it's pretty gross.
Yeah, yeah, but they're putting, they're doing cream butter.
No, this is not a butter.
race.
Yeah, and whoever gets the peanut butter off the fastest wins.
But it's like, you know, somebody invented that for their own little deal.
With a foot fetish.
Yeah, like, or with a, yeah.
Yeah.
So, one way or the other, either a foot fetish or someone licking their feet.
Some administrators got to step in and go, this probably isn't a good idea to have somebody
licking somebody else.
Because teenagers are going to think that's hilarious.
And I mean, it is.
It's so funny.
We're watching it.
But somebody's smarter than us who's got to step in and go, not appropriate.
It sounds like our show, you know.
Yes, but we're all adults.
We would not, that would be a major HR problem.
No, we did.
I spent Sunday out a lunchbox's butt and you ate it.
Yes.
And me?
Yes.
I did.
You did.
I have the video.
Amy, don't know like you don't remember.
Right.
And Amy volunteered.
Well, whoa, I guarantee you.
I did not volunteer.
I lost the game.
What's wrong with people?
What's wrong with people?
A man in Indiana thought he and his wife were moving into a new home.
They had the U-Haul and it all loaded up.
They were actually trespassing because the wife had faked all the financial documents and had stolen the keys.
Whoa.
court documents revealed that an Indiana man thought he and his wife were moving.
They were so excited.
They had done the real estate process.
The man did not know that his wife had lied and faked everything.
And then smashed into the home, smashed open the lockbox.
And like, we're homeowners.
The husband completely left in the dark.
They unloaded everything.
This is from Fox 59, Indianapolis.
This poor guy.
You've got to leave this marriage, right?
Oh, out.
Like feet don't fail me now type stuff.
Like that's a bad one.
Yeah, the story didn't match with the property owner had told.
Well, yeah.
And so the realtors said they noticed something was off.
There were grammatical errors such as contact you at with the letter you in the document.
Contact you at.
So they come, police are called because there's people in the house.
The realtors are like, yeah, the lockbox is smashed open.
Man.
You would think those logbox would be stronger than just to be able to smash it open.
I thought they were very strong.
But yeah, felony charges the stolen property.
And this husband is like, I thought we got a house.
I mean, this can't be the first time
she's, you know, acted up in this way.
Yeah, it was just like news to him.
Surely. The property owner just saw a U-Ha
outside the house too. It was like,
what? I own that. Why is there a U-Haul
out there? And then they go and find everything.
What's up with her? What's wrong with people?
What's wrong with people? Finally, a man's hospitalized
after a woman lures him on a date
and then her dude beats him up and robs them.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. That was a scam to begin with, right?
Oh, yeah. For sure.
Set up.
WRIC, a Florida duo's in custody after they allegedly
arranged to lure a 73-year-old victim on a date with the woman.
No.
Not the old dude.
Before he was beaten, robbed.
She was 34, so he was trying to, like, do his thing.
Well, you know.
He probably hears lunchbox on the radio, and he's like,
I'll get me a young one.
Deputy said the staff at the hospital report of the incident
after he's brought into the emergency room with several injuries to his head,
torso, and arms.
Need a staple in his head.
They got him.
The victim told officials he met Chelsea Wright 34 at a bar
to discuss the romantic relationship.
She said, let's go back to my house.
they went separate vehicles
and her ex-boyfriend
got him
struck him
and they have a metal object
beat them to the ground
stole his wallet
investigators
so they found text messages
between the two
discussing their plans
to carry out the crime
that's terrible
what's wrong with people
what's wrong with people
oh that sucks
for the old dude
he thinks he's kidding
like he's got like
brag to his buddies
at the bingo hall
he was loving life
I saw real bad
what's wrong with people
oh no
do you have time
yeah
It's not time I'm worried about.
No, this dad, his daughter was having a sleepover, and he made the mango smoothies.
Oh, yeah.
And he put, like, some sort of pill that, or something in the smoothies that would make them go to sleep.
And one of the girls that was spending the night secretly didn't drink the smoothie.
And all the girls were passed out, she said that she saw the dad, like, checking to see if they were passed out.
And she called her mom at 1.30 in the morning.
It was like, come pick me up.
I don't feel safe.
say it's a family emergency
and I don't know
Did he have bad intentions
to do something with the kids
or was he just too loud
and he's like somebody shut them up
because I've been to draw my dog
before if the thunder's coming
I don't know they were teenage girls
I don't know
I don't know the update beyond that
lunchbox might because he groans
like he knew this story but
no I don't know any update
I just know
he's growing because it
no I read the story
and I was just like
it felt creepy like he was doing it
to make sure they were
so but you're speculating
speculating how horrible though
oh it's wrong
anyway you can't be putting
drugs and people stuff regardless.
Yeah, kids.
Yes.
Your daughter's having a sleepover.
I mean, I feel bad for the daughter.
Like, she's like, dad.
It's in the news.
Yeah.
Dad.
Ah, what's that?
See, you just always like take it to a place where you like feel.
That's a dark.
That's a dark one.
Yeah, no, no, there's a lot of really dark ones, like murders and stuff.
Sure.
I could have been, I've been like, this person murdered 100.
What's wrong with people?
I'm so glad that one girl decided to not drink it and was able to call her mom.
Yeah, me too.
She made a lot of like smoothies, though.
We do I know what's wrong with people on this one?
I think we owe it to Amy.
She did win the award
for weekly personality of the year.
Oh yeah, a big award.
What's wrong with people?
What's wrong with people?
Believing in signs is something we've talked about a lot on this show.
Amy, if she's looking for a sign,
daggummit, it's going to find her.
Well, I ask for them, but sometimes not seeing the sign as a sign.
So, yeah.
There you go.
Whatever.
So it's always a sign.
So Morgan, you saw a video.
Yeah, so I was just like chilling on TikTok, right?
I'm on my for you page.
I'm not really looking for anything.
I'm just hanging out.
And this video pops up of this lady who was reading cards.
It was a live video.
It was like an actual video she posted.
There was no hashtags.
There was no caption.
Like I couldn't have searched out this video if I wanted to.
And it pops up and she's reading the sign.
She's like, you are in a space right now.
You're about to meet the love of your life.
It's about to happen.
Like there are cards happening for you right now that it is coming.
It's on its way.
could it be the guy from Ohio that sent our flowers?
Oh.
I don't think that one's going to work just based on logistics.
You don't know.
Also, even if it's not a hashtag or a searchable, it probably knows a bit of your algorithm
or knows that you're a single female, right?
Or it wouldn't send you that.
It doesn't send me that.
Yeah, so, well, but so does that mean it's a sign?
Like, it's purposely sending it to me because, like, she needs this?
You know what I mean?
Does your psychic cousin believe in cards, Amy?
Well, I don't know what kind of cards these are, but she does those little,
It's like, sometimes she'll pull a card and there's an animal on it.
Yeah, death card.
And it's like, I don't know, what are those called?
No, that's not bingo.
No, no, those are tarot cards.
Oh, that's what they are.
Yeah, she has those.
I feel like those are the work of the devil.
Or just somebody playing a dumb game.
I know, it is kind of.
But if you want it to be a sign, Morgan, that's a sign for you.
It's all up to you.
Signs are interpreted as you want to interpret them.
Really?
Well, yeah, I want it to be a sign.
I want to meet the love of my life.
That'd be amazing.
I feel like you're pressing a little hard.
Yeah.
Desperation.
I mean, let's say you're going to play basketball on state championship game.
I got to play super.
And if you put all the pressure on yourself to play super hard and super good, you're not at your best, your most free.
You're putting a standard and a pressure on yourself that doesn't allow you to reach your standard.
And I feel like Morgan's doing that with dating.
I mean, any dude that goes by, it's like, do you want to go on to date with you?
No, no, would you like to try a sample at store?
And I think she's trying really hard.
and I think she's quite the catch,
but I think she's pressing a little bit.
And I don't believe,
I don't believe, just free,
don't do anything that comes.
I don't believe that.
People say, well, if you just stop trying,
it'll happen.
I don't believe that about anything in life.
But I do think you're putting
a little too much pressure on things.
I would probably agree a little bit,
but also, like, I have tried.
Like, there was a time where I wasn't on the dating house,
I wasn't doing anything,
and I meant nobody.
Like, I went out, I did, I lived my life,
I did things.
I meant nobody.
Maybe don't assign your value
to dating someone.
Well, I don't think she does that.
No, no, but I feel like she's not
giving herself enough credit
for being an awesome, well-rounded person
because there's not someone
to fill out her life.
I think I'm just eager
to really meet somebody more
because, like, you know, everybody around me is in it.
Like, I come to work.
But that's why you don't want,
that's it, that's it.
Well, yeah, not everyone.
Hold on.
Amy was it and got out.
Hold on me.
But it puts more pressure on me.
Not that I want that pressure,
but it does put pressure on me because everyone around me,
I do have a biological clock.
If there is a time in my life that I want to have kids,
there are just factors that are weighing on me.
But do you want to push yourself to do something
that maybe isn't perfect because of a biological clock?
No, and I will not.
So like I do have that pressure on me,
but like I'm not going to settle.
But we can always freeze your eggs.
Don't worry.
We can do that.
We're like he has any...
We can eat retrieval.
That's expensive, yeah.
All I'm going to say is take a few deep breaths.
Keep active.
but don't press so hard that everyone, if it doesn't work out, it's terrible, it's never going to be me.
You're just chilling. You're being free. It's like when you're in the shower, you have the best thoughts in the shower.
The most freeing, I do creative thoughts in the shower because I'm not trying to do anything.
It's the only place I can get where I'm not. That's my spot.
Oh, I cry in the shower.
Well, there you go. You feel free.
Oh my goodness.
I don't think it's a sign. I don't think it's a music video.
All right, let's go. We have one more sign question here. And lunchbox is you, but it's about Eddie.
Yeah, Eddie, you believe in signs. You've said it on the show. You're a big sign believer.
and I was out to dinner with the family other night
and I'm walking back from the bathroom
and there's a table next to us
and it's like six people around a circular table
and they stop me and they go lunchbox
we're a huge fan in the show
we didn't want to bother you with the family
can we get a picture?
I'm like yeah, what do you guys do?
And they say, oh, we do kidney transplants
at Vanderbilt Hospital.
And I was like, oh my gosh.
Could be a sign for Eddie to get a sign for Eddie
and so I talked to them about
yeah to get tested, the benefits and all this
and Eddie, this is what they had to say.
Tell Eddie the benefits of donating a kidney.
Have a better life, and they don't have to be on dialysis.
How risky is it for the person donating the kidney?
We discuss those risks with you,
and you determine if the benefit is worth the risk.
But you are perfectly capable of living off with one kidney.
Yes, most people are able to live the rest of their lives with one kidney.
We highly encourage people to sign up, and Eddie will be perfectly fine, most likely.
Most gladly.
But it doesn't hurt to go get tested, right?
Yes, you have to be 18 or older.
Eddie is way over 18.
And you have to decide that that's something that you want to do and is right for you.
Is it okay that Eddie's bald?
Will that cause the new person to be bold?
No, no.
A kidney transplant recipient will not be bald because they're going there as well.
All right.
Yes, Eddie, get here and donate a kidney.
Bye.
It's a sign.
I don't like when lunchbox asks people questions and when it's not going the way he wants it.
Oh, he does shift it.
But, but, but, Eddie, has that a sign?
I think it's kind of a sign, but here's the thing, though, if I get tested, which I'd like to get tested.
Go ahead.
But if I get tested and then they call in a week, two weeks later, and they say, there's a match.
And I say, ooh, I'm not really ready for that.
Then, like, that's on me.
And I shouldn't do that.
So I want to get tested when I'm 100% ready to like.
Where do you think you are percentage?
30.
Oh, my goodness.
30% because of the risk.
Let me ask you, when are you ready, though?
You keep saying you want to do it.
But dude, you're, you're healthy.
Kids aren't going to be healthy anymore.
What do you mean?
I'm 44 years old.
Exactly.
When does it stop being healthy?
It's already a geriatric kidney.
It's an old kidney already?
Yes.
I don't know.
I'm not there yet.
Okay.
But lunchbox,
thank you for bringing it up.
Yep.
Eddie always says he wants to donate the kidney.
If you're at 30%,
you can't keep saying you want to donate a kidney.
No, he doesn't.
What do you mean?
You mostly don't want to.
You got to cut that out.
I don't have a spleen.
I don't have a spleen.
I've got a lot of things medically wrong with me.
Okay.
I'm not, I can't give up kidney.
I'm not going to. Amy, where are you at zero? You're at zero.
No, but you're the one that put this on you. So you can't put this on us. You're the one that brought it up.
30% baby. You can't bring it up anymore.
When you read a story about that, I can't say like, man, you say it all the time. And you say it out. No, no more for Eddie and donate the kidney.
Except for if we like if somebody in this room needs one, we'll all get tested.
Eddie won't. He's 30%. I'm better than zero.
But you're not at 30% for Bobby. Bobby needed kidney. I get tested immediately.
No, not tested. Give it.
First.
Here's a voicemail from Alexa in North Carolina.
We were fighting for our lives in that queue for the million-dollar show,
but we got tickets and we're so excited.
I've never been to Nashville before.
Thank you.
And we can't wait.
Awesome.
And they will release some more tickets closer to the show.
But April 3rd, it's Eddie and I's band, The Raging Idiots, and Sam Hunt and John Party,
and a lot of artists to show up on play.
It's going to be an awesome.
Can't wait to do it.
And I'm glad you got tickets.
It's awesome.
Here is Michael from North Carolina.
What's up guys?
I wrote a jingle for Bobby.
Love all the other ones I've heard.
Here's my own.
Check it out.
Bobby Bones, Bobby Bones.
Bobby Bones.
Yeah.
That's actually really good.
Is that Dan and Shay?
Most people who do that are just kind of good.
And that's even worse than being bad or really good.
That guy's really good.
It was awesome.
Holy crap.
Michael, North Carolina.
We need to get you up here to record that into a real
microphone. Thank you.
Here's Amy's pile of stories.
So a video has gone viral from a former cruise ship singer who claims the reason that ships often
have free ice cream parties is.
Oh no. Is this going to be gross? I don't even go on cruises. This is going to be gross?
It's because maybe someone has died on the ship and they need to make a room in the freezer.
No way.
But I always thought they had morgues.
But what if so many people died, the morgue is full?
and they need to clear out some ice cream.
My goodness.
Because you know you're out at sea and sometimes people die.
I hear you, but if this person is saying that means it's probably happened at least once that they know of.
That's weird.
So if you ever get a, hey, random ice cream party.
Somebody's dead.
Somebody's dead.
This same person, her name is Dara Starr Tucker, estimates that four to ten people out of around 30,000 passengers died on each of her voyages.
Four to ten.
I get that that's a really large number of thousands of people.
No, no, it's still people die.
But they're just living.
Like, like, it just, they're dying of natural.
They're not living.
No, no, no.
What I'm saying is they're not getting murdered or anything.
We don't know that.
Well, I'm sure.
We have no idea.
That's, okay.
Ice cream parties, no, boy, no on true shit.
Man.
All right, what else?
Wait, is there a Bobby Bone Show cruise update?
Yeah, yeah.
There's not.
Because there's been no, no.
There's been a couple, there have been a couple people reach out.
I'm going to tell you why.
We haven't done it.
One, I think I'm going to get so seasick.
I get, I'm just talking about it, honestly.
that makes me want to burp.
I'm telling you, just being
like on a boat
doing breaking body bones
and vomiting the whole time.
Oh, that was a fishing boat.
This is a little different.
I know, but that burp was me getting
queasy just talking about it.
Two, we did have somebody reaching out
and go, hey, you can make some good money
off this if it sells.
I don't want to have to come on and hustle
people to go on a cruise with us.
Yeah.
Be like, please, come on a cruise.
Because then all the pressure's on us.
Even to break even, all the pressures on us.
Can you just sell the tickets
first and then they give you the size of the boat
based on tickets. I don't think that's how it works.
You won't have to bang, dude. You just say it once and boom.
We're going to be like, we need a catamaran.
I don't think.
We're in a bass boat.
We're in a tugboat.
All right, what else?
Okay, so let's say that you're invited to a work trip in Paris.
But whatever the company trip is, like for whatever meeting, they're having to save money and budget.
Because this one person is going viral on TikTok because her employers, it is a business trip.
Remember, are making her share a bed with a coworker.
No way.
That can't happen.
A bed.
A room, I would understand a bit if both people sign off and they're both of the same sex.
But a bed, that's why.
That's like an HR problem waiting to happen.
Yeah, she said, she's from New Jersey.
She went on TikTok and said, my company is not only asking me to share a room with a colleague on our upcoming trip to Paris, but there's only one bed in the room.
So maybe they're saying, hey, one of you can have the bed and one of you get a caught, which still is weird.
And I'm not going to act like we haven't shared beds before Eddie or lunchbox.
No, we've done it.
We have, but we did it on our own.
We did our own.
We had three beds, but we chose this.
No, that's not true.
We would go on a trip together, all of us to Vegas,
and there would just be not enough vets.
So, me, Eddie, or me lunchbox,
or Carlos at the time at lunchbox?
Yeah, and nothing happened.
Nothing happened.
That we'll talk about.
Right.
Nothing happened that we'll talk about right now.
Correct.
Maybe in the next book.
All right, what else?
Okay, so Garth Brooks and Tricia Yearwood,
they're getting their own docu series.
It's called Friends in Low Places,
and it's following them as they work
on Garth's new Nashville bar that's
opening soon and it's premiering on
Amazon this Thursday, Amazon Prime.
I got invited. Did you guys get invited?
Yeah. No. Did you? Bye.
Garth? Yeah. You guys got
invited? To the friends and family
thing? No. Lunchbox you?
Yeah. Yeah. What on earth?
Well, they said don't tell Eddie.
Really? No, they did. When did that come in?
Yesterday? I just got a text.
Oh, my goodness. I'm sure you got invited.
I don't see anything.
And I'm the biggest Garth
Maybe that's why you didn't get invited.
Man.
I wonder why Garth was physically working on the bar.
It makes sense if they're doing a docu series.
He does work himself out on his land, no doubt.
But if it's a docu series, he's got to be in there doing on camera.
Because he showed up with Brooks and Dunham played, I think, during this thing in Nashville last weekend, he was covered in like sawdust.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And remember he made like a whole bridge on his ranch or something?
Oh, no, he does work.
Yeah, he does work for sure.
Okay, there you go.
Okay, so again, that's Amazon Prime this Thursday, and that's the same night that the venue is having the grand opening.
Got it.
I'm Amy.
That's my pile.
That was Amy's pile of stories.
It's time for the good news.
With producer Eddie.
Yeah, home there's something good.
Shout out to Wild Bill's tattoo in Roseville, California.
They just hosted their 23rd annual tattoo-a-thon.
And all the money in this tattoo-a-thon goes to the pediatric intensive care unit over at UC Davis Children's Hospital.
They've been doing it for 23 years, and they said in that whole time, they've donated $300,000 to that
hospital.
Dang.
And this is by just giving tattoos out and all the artists, they donate their time.
They don't, they don't charge anything.
I feel better about going to a tattoo athon if there was a good cause because tattoo athon,
any athon, I feel exhaustion is marathon.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Any athon, people are going to get tired.
But here's the deal.
They have a lot of artists.
It's not just one dude doing thousands of tattoos.
I'd be worried about that athon.
That's awesome.
That is awesome.
That's a great story.
That is what it's all about.
That was tell me something good.
A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care what I'm saying.

When a group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist,
they take matters into their own hands.
I vowed.
I will be his last target.
He is not going to get away with this.
He's going to get what he deserves.
We always say that trust your girlfriends.

My next guest, it's Will Ferrell.
Woo, woo, woo, woo, woo.
My dad gave me the best advice ever.
He goes, just give it a shot.
But if you ever reach a point
where you're banging your head against the wall
and it doesn't feel fun anymore,
it's okay to quit.
If you saw it written down,
it would not be an inspiration.
It would not be on a calendar
of, you know,
the cat, just hang in,
there. Yeah, it would not be. Right, it wouldn't be that. There's a lot of luck.
