my basketball and college football journey,
or my career in sports media.
Well, now I'm bringing all of that excitement
to my brand new podcast, the Clifford Show.
This is a place for raw,
unfilled conversations with athletes,
creators, and voices that not only deserve to be heard,
but celebrated.
So let's get to it.

When a group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist, they take matters into their own hands.
I vowed. I will be his last target.
He is not going to get away with this.
He's going to get what he deserves.
We always say that trust your girlfriends.
Listen to the girlfriends.
Trust me, babe, on the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.
What's up, everyone?
I'm Ego Vodom.
My next guest, it's Will Ferrell.
My dad gave me the best advice ever.
He goes, just give it a shot.
But if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit.
If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration.
It would not be on.
a calendar of, you know, the cat.
Just hang in there.
Yeah, it would not be.
Right, it wouldn't be that.
There's a lot of luck.
Listen to thanks, Dad, on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
What's up?
Welcome to Tuesday show.
Morning, studio.
Morning.
Let's go around the room.
Let's check in with everybody.
Okay, he's the oldest on the show.
And when it comes to, well, old music, he's a pro.
It's Eddie.
Yeah.
So one of the cool things when you have kids,
kids is seeing the genetics
come down, you know, like, you see your kid doing
something that you always do, and you're like, that's crazy.
I've passed on a gene to them.
Well, there are good genes and there are bad
genes, and I noticed a bad gene that I pass
on to my kids. Oh, no, they ball negative.
Not that kind of gene. That's funny, though.
No, man, you know how I'm bad at math?
So, my two biological
kids, like, they are just
terrible at math. Really? And we found
that out because the first one, you know, my oldest one,
he's 15 now, but I could never help
with his homework and one time I did help him and he got failing grade.
That wasn't good.
And then I was helping my 10 year old with his homework and, dude, we were both lost.
I decided to get a calculator, help him with that.
My wife's like, no, what do you do?
No, he has to learn how to do it.
And then we realized, like, this is a gene that I've passed down to him and I feel
really terrible about it.
Yeah, is it nature and nurture, though, because if you're bad at it and you never do it
because you're bad at it and you don't really focus on what's happening in the house with
it.
Man, we just look at numbers and it doesn't make sense to us.
Absolutely.
Are you dyslexic at all?
I was about to ask that.
Eddie, have you ever been test for dyslexia?
No, is that where you see things backwards?
Not just that.
That's one version of it.
There are many versions of dyslexia.
So if you guys are talking about math,
like we talk about gambling all the time,
like you and me and lunchbox,
and you guys are figuring out like,
oh, well, yeah, the stats of this.
And, man, I just stay quiet
and wait for you guys to figure it out.
But that could have been affected by you early on in life,
like not being good at mad,
math at seven,
and being embarrassed and being like,
screwed,
I'm just not going to do math.
I'm not going to fit.
So then you never actually.
There's a lot of reasons to that.
Yeah.
But it also could be, you should get tested.
I don't think my parents are going to.
I would like to get tested.
We should, can we get some dyslexia tests?
They're expensive.
Well, we're going to sponsor?
Well, okay.
I'm saying.
Use that money for Eddie go to turkey and do that.
Get it here.
I'm just saying I have.
Skulah, can you see if we can find somebody to administer some dyslexia tests?
I could try you.
I'll find somebody else.
Okay.
Yeah.
That'd be great, man.
And there are many versions of it.
The classic way people think is reading it backward, but it's not.
There's a lot of different ways.
I just thought why at this point in my life invest in that.
We've made it this far.
We can still fix it, right?
Some of the world's most successful people are dyslexic.
And what happens is either they understand that they don't understand or they have to figure out new ways.
And so by doing that because they can't do it traditionally, they figure out and sometimes create new paths to learn.
And they get really good at learning people, which allow.
Wow.
Okay.
Yeah, that's pretty cool.
So I'm good at Sudoku.
Maybe that's it.
But that's it.
I don't even know what that is.
It's that game with that puzzle.
It's like crossword puzzles.
Yeah.
Advanced.
Okay.
We'll try that.
That's good, though.
Okay.
That's good.
He still gets upset when anyone on the show does something big, and we're still waiting on him to get his first acting gig.
It's lunchbox.
I've had my first acting gig.
No, that didn't count.
He'd have no lines.
Excuse me, but I did, just speaking of acting gigs, try to get another acting gig.
I was at the park, and all of a sudden I look, and they're setting up for a shoot.
I don't know what they're shooting.
TV show, movie, what?
So I was like, man, there's the trailer for hair and makeup.
There's the, I got video of all this.
I got the bathrooms over here.
Hey, that sound you hear is me running to the computer.
Sounds amazing, man.
You don't want to see what it's like on set?
I've been on a few sets, so I'm good.
Okay, cool.
Eddie hadn't, so he might want to see.
So then I just went up and tried to get me a roll.
Okay, you have audio of this?
Yeah, it's me.
Does you guys need some other actors?
I'm not the one to ask about it.
I mean, I mean, I'm just saying,
I've been trying to bust into the industry.
And, I mean, I figure you guys are filming.
If you need someone, you know, I'm your guy.
Okay.
Because, I mean, I've been doing some acting classes and things like that.
So, I mean, I can, if you need me to jump in, let me know, where do you want me to just point me in the direction.
I mean, I'm hair and makeup ready.
So, like, you say action and I'm, I can change characters.
Like, you're going to be, I can be mad.
I can be sad.
Like, I got the chops.
All right, man.
I feel like this guy's not a decision maker.
What is he, security?
No, he was camera, dude.
He had a camera.
Yeah, I don't think he was, but I like the effort because he could have put you on to somebody else.
Also, did somebody in the background go, lunchbox?
I didn't hear anybody.
You didn't?
No.
I thought somebody recognized you.
So then what happens?
That was it, man.
He went and started shooting.
He didn't ever point me in the right direction.
No, but when he took you to the director or to the casting.
No, he didn't do that.
That's what I'm saying.
He didn't do anything.
He was like basically a bump on a log.
He was no help.
But you can switch characters.
For some reason, when you're acting in roles, you need to switch characters.
That's neat.
Yeah, like if you need me to, you know, because like Robin Williams played Mrs. Doubtfire and he played.
Got it.
Yeah, if you need me to be two people in one cast.
So if you were like a sad British man, go.
Oh, my lad.
Lad, are you okay?
I lost my puppy.
A little Irish, but pretty good.
Oh.
Is Ladd Irish?
I feel like Lads Irish.
Yeah, yeah.
What do they call him in England?
No, but hey, look, if you're an embarrassed pirate show.
Arr-Made do I'm so easy.
Give him a job.
Give this guy a job.
That guy messed up.
Lunch wants to have been his big discovery.
Yeah.
All right, thank you.
Let's move on.
Let's go over to Amy.
She came up with the hair transplant idea for Eddie,
and if he needs someone to go with him, she says she's ready.
Amy.
Let's go to turkey.
So I ask my mom for signs often, you know, from the other side.
Your mom has passed away for those I don't know.
Go ahead.
Yes, yes.
And I think I got, like, the best sign ever,
or that I've gotten in a while.
And so I had recently just asked for a sign that,
of I was just, you know, on the right path of sorts.
And I had just been talking about it the morning that this happened.
And I go to the car wash to get my car wash and I'm sitting down in the waiting room.
And when I stand up, I was sitting on a penny that was heads up.
And I couldn't believe it because that was from my mom.
And I only sat there for not even that long because I had been looking at the knickknacks there and the candles.
And then I decided to sit down randomly and like right when I sat down,
She's like, my car's ready.
So I stand up and I'm like, oh, there's a penny heads up.
And my mom, when we were little, every time we'd see a penny heads up,
she'd pick it up and give it to me and my sister.
And she'd be like, it's your lucky day.
And so much so that my sister, after my mom passed away,
she wrote a whole poem about it called Lucky Days,
mainly because when my mom was leaving the hospital one day after we realized she wasn't,
there was no cure, there was no more treatment.
They saw a penny heads up in the parking lot in D.
Anderson in the parking garage.
And my sister picked it up and looked at it.
at my mom and goes, how is this a lucky day?
And then, you know, she wrote this whole poem about it.
It's very beautiful.
And Penny, and that was a message directly from my mom.
A lot of times that I was, you say you find messages and it's just very generic stuff.
No, but this is not generic.
You're like, can you give me a message that I'll be okay?
And then you're like, oh, there's a tree that's not dead.
And you're like, wow.
This one connects.
I know.
Yes.
Sometimes yourself is very vague and you will connect to something that could be anything.
However is a pretty good one
Yeah
Head up penny
Yeah
Wait wait wait
So any heads up penny
Is from Amy's mom
No she wasn't saying that
She said that she was at
I just had asked
She had asked her mom for some sort of sign
Or symbol
And then she sits up
And there's a heads up penny
On her butt
Yeah fell out of her pot
And it wasn't there
It doesn't even matter
But I didn't have a penny in my pocket
Who even cares
Who even cares how I got there
We're not saying it magically
came out of nowhere
It was in the chair
Yeah
Heads up
I hope that makes you feel good
I like that
It really did
It gave me such
Well I
just felt such peace in that moment.
And I felt really good about some things.
And I don't like actually agree with this one.
It's the first one ever where I've been like, okay.
Can't hate on that one.
Once, Amy's like, give me a sign.
And some letters fell off a billboard and it spelled like P-O-G-O-N.
No, she goes, oh.
Oh, no.
The answer's no, I shouldn't do it.
Pull those letters out of that pile.
You can't say that it wasn't a sign.
You're right.
I can't.
This one is pretty good.
This one I'm just not going to say it.
It's not saying because it's pretty good.
Thank you.
I hope it makes you feel good.
I like that.
It did.
I feel great about it.
Ray Moondow.
From Mount Pine, Arkansas.
He's got 1.2 million followers on Instagram, and it all started with band slam.
Bobby Bones.
Thank you very much.
It's a quick update.
So Thursday and Friday, we have a lot of big guests on the show, playing music live.
It's going to be great.
It's for St. Jude.
Become a partner in Hope, get a free Piff and Joy sweatshirt.
That's Thursday and Friday.
And then we're just now starting to, because I get on Instagram questions all the time,
are you doing a million dollar show next year?
It's the show that Eddie and I do at the.
with the rhyming. Yes, we do not have a date yet, but it's for St. Jude as well.
But probably in the first three months of the year, soon we get a date, we'll let you know.
Let's go. But this week, Radiothon, Thursday, Friday, a lot of great guests coming by.
And we will do the million-dollar show. We're working on it now. But all for St. Jude.
If I don't say it here, I'm not going to say it. Thank you. The end.
Let's open up the mailbag.
Yeah.
Hello, oh, Bobby Bones.
Over the last couple of years, the homes in my neighborhood have been hit by porch pirates.
It happens all year, but it's especially hit hard during the holiday season.
I've installed a doorbell camera, but just had another package stolen last week.
I've decided to take other security steps, but it's still a problem.
My wife thinks it's a bad idea and that it will get me in trouble or house targeted.
I want to start putting out fake packages, but what dog crap?
I also want to put other packages with mouse traps inside.
Is this going too far?
My wife thinks the pirates will retaliate.
All ideas are appreciated.
Signed, porch pirate vigilante.
No, it's not going too far.
The thing you have to do is make sure that your wife or anybody else in your house doesn't open that package.
That's right.
It's not confused.
Other than that, let it rip caterchip.
You don't think that they would retaliate it?
No, they don't want to be known who they are.
They're just trying to get packages and get off.
Most criminals are just trying to get what they can get and get out of the way.
It's not personal.
How do you know that?
Well, interesting, you ask.
You wouldn't know this, but I've never lived a life of crime.
But where I come from, a lot of lives of crime are lived, especially very close to me.
So you pick up things along the way.
For the most part, when it is something like people stealing packages, they're not doing it because they've got some crime ring or they have to feed it back to the cartel.
they're just trying to make a quick buck
so they can buy their drugs or buy
or whatever.
They're not keeping things personal.
The dog poop's hilarious.
The mousstraps are hilarious.
Make sure your family doesn't open it.
Some criminals are when they're going to steal things like that.
I was listening.
You know that Skamanda podcast where that,
we talked about a long time ago,
but this woman scammed people saying she had cancer.
Oh yeah.
She really didn't.
She was getting all the money.
So her name's Amanda Scamma.
Oh, you should do a podcast on how to scam people.
Has anyone ever done that?
No.
Like you actually teach people a little sign.
No.
No.
Nashville Podcast Network.
Ray's going to host it.
Okay.
Wow.
Hey.
Clickmate Ray.
Yeah, Clickmate Ray.
Yeah, clickmate Ray.
Oh my God.
That's the greatest idea.
Go ahead.
Well, the federal agent that was talking in the podcast that was on the case said that
he found like all this Xanax and other stuff when he went to interviewer or saw her the first time they met.
And he was like, oh, this makes sense.
And he explained that a lot of times when people are about to go rob a place or lie or do something,
they'll take a bunch of that.
So they stay just very calm and like
don't freak out and chill and they're able
to kind of do it because otherwise
Oh man, I wouldn't take it for that.
I would take it to get high not to go work.
Yeah. It's not work.
It is work.
It is work. That's how they make money.
For some people to be able to do it, they need to chill themselves out.
Yeah, I think that. That's Scamanda doesn't relate to real life.
Scamanda.
All right. Yes, do that.
They're not going to retaliate.
They're just going to stop coming to your house.
I love it.
That's what's going to happen.
All right, thank you.
Close it up.
We've got your e-mate.
I'm the clothes, Bobby Mailpack.
Lunchbox, what's the event that you're hosting?
It's for Folds of Honor.
Oh, yeah, we've worked with them a lot.
Yeah, we've worked with them a lot.
I've played this.
Military, yeah.
Yeah, softball game.
I mean, I've done it all.
And they asked me.
I've done it all.
You did one softball game.
There's been multiple.
Yeah, multiple appearances at the softball game for them once a year.
And so they're having some other event.
And they asked me if I would emcee it.
They're like, dude, we love you at the softball game.
It'd be great to have you.
And I'm like, yeah, dude, I'm in.
I will emce your event.
I will be the star.
I will work that stage.
I'll work the crowd.
I will raise you a lot of money.
That's what you think when someone says
when you emce our charity event.
I'm in.
I'm going to be the star.
I'm going to work it.
It's about me.
Yeah.
Okay.
Like I'm there to put on a show
to get people involved to interact.
And so I'm all in it.
And I'm like going through everything.
Boom.
This is like a month ago.
Two months ago they asked me.
All of a sudden I get an email like two weeks ago,
a week ago says,
hey, do you have a headshot that we can use to announce the people that are emceeing?
And I'm like,
People.
Uh-oh.
Plural.
And I'm like, what?
And I scroll back up and I look and they've added Morgan to the stupid email.
To get the headshot to them from you?
No, no, no.
So they said, now Morgan is emceeing with me.
Like they did the old rope-a-dope or they lured me in like I was the only one.
And now they're adding Morgan.
And so now I'm like, either I got a back out or Morgan's got to back out.
Why?
Why not do it together?
I thought you were doing it for a good reason.
Like for charity.
Well, I was doing it for the charity, but also, like, I want people to see me up there, like,
working the stage and owning it.
I don't need help.
Like, I don't need a co-MC.
Like, is she my sideline reporter?
When did she get asked?
We got asked at the same time.
Oh, my God.
I don't know why he's.
We literally got emailed at the same time.
But she wasn't on my email.
I'm pretty positive.
I was.
Oh, my God.
Yes, she was.
I'm pretty positive.
This also goes back into when Eddie got the,
that trip to Orlando we talked about a while ago.
Lunchbox, I sent him an email asking him which
holiday he wants to go on. Thanksgiving or Christmas,
he never responded. It's always
his fault for not reading his email.
And in this case, he didn't read the email.
Scuba was going through convulsions when this was happening. He was like,
oh my God, this is another example of it. He's on the email.
So you thought you were doing it by yourself.
So let's just walk down this road together.
You thought you doing it by myself? Good for you for saying yes.
Yes, I was like, I'm in. You know what I mean? Helps from people out.
No, that's not what you said. You're right because you wanted to be the star.
Yes.
And I think, too, you can do both of the three.
Same time, absolutely.
Ding, ding, ding.
And you can use this and do it again next year, find others.
Next thing you know, you're a huge star.
Someone's there and they're like, man, that dude, crush the emceeing and hit this event.
We're having an event.
We want him to do our event.
Boom.
Lease to this, leave that.
Boom.
Next thing I'm on, Price is right.
Boom.
Love it.
Yeah.
Now, that part of it, we walk together.
Boom.
However.
But now.
But if you're doing it for a good cause, why doesn't matter?
You can still be a star.
But if you're doing for a good cause, why it doesn't matter if Morgan's with you or who's with you?
Because if they're like, oh, he can't carry the load by himself.
No one's going to think that they had to get a different co-host because you couldn't carry a load.
Oh, people in the crowd probably had to begin looking down like, ooh, they needed two emcees.
Usually I go to events, there's only one.
I've co-hosted many shows together, TV shows.
Do you think they go, that guy can't handle it?
No, they get someone else who can, the people in the crowd can relate to like, that has a bit different of a texture.
Oh, well, yeah, I just lived there.
I was like, man, they're trying to demote me.
And so I was like, well, you wanted to moat me?
I'll just quit.
Ed.
No.
For a good cause.
No, it is a good cause.
I mean, like, what, like, look at Brian Dunkelman, for example.
Who's that?
He was an American Idol season one.
He was the...
He quit.
Yeah.
He quit.
But they started off as a double.
So I don't understand your part.
Do you think maybe he quit because people thought, like, oh, he couldn't handle the load by himself?
He was like, man, I'm bigger than this.
Like, I don't need to be co-hosting.
Yeah, then what happened?
That's a great analogy.
Exactly.
That's going to happen to you.
You're like,
you think I'm going to be dunkleman, yes.
I didn't think about my analogy.
I was going with like, he thought,
whatever happened to him.
He's still around.
Okay.
Yeah, I mean,
he acknowledged,
no,
he acknowledged you made a mistake.
So here's what we're going to do.
We're going to do the event.
We are?
So you would say don't back out.
Yeah, I'm saying don't back out.
Morgan,
did you know lunchbox was always going to be your co-host?
Yeah,
I knew it the whole time
because I actually read my,
emails. And it was in the email. Both of you, he just didn't see it. Yeah. And also, if one,
if one of us has to back out for your sake, they would probably push you out because I actually
helped them write the script. Oh, oh, you did. Yes. Excuse me? You heard her. They didn't ask
for my input. Yeah, because you're not really good at that. They said they emailed you.
What you mean I'm not good at? Have you ever seen me write a script? No. Exactly. So how do you
know about it? Okay. Good luck. Let us know after how it goes. But you're in. You're staying in.
I guess I'm still in.
Morgan, thank you.
Yeah.
It's time for the good news.
With Amy.
Tell me something good.
All right, so you got the owner of an auto shop, Patriot Auto Repair.
His name is Jim Pisono.
And there's something called the Hager House in Wisconsin where he lives.
And it's for women and kids in crisis.
And he learned that a lot of the women there, they don't have proper, reliable,
transportation at all whatsoever.
So being that he's in the auto business, he can fix things.
He purchased a 2011 Hyundai.
And he fixed it up.
to give it away to someone there.
And when the executive director at the place
heard about it, she was like, I have the
perfect mom for you.
Nina was the recipient of the car
and she was so grateful. And Jim says the day
that he gave the car to Nina was one of the best days
of his entire nine years in business.
And so now I have a feeling this
is going to become a thing for him.
Good for all Jim. That's awesome. Most guys named Jim
were good dudes. Yeah. When you think about guys
solid, like names, Jim's one of them.
Jim and James. Really? Yeah. My dad
had a friend named Jim Fowler. Is he a good dude?
Great dude. Solid dude.
Jim's are solid.
Yeah, I mean, Jim Surface, I know him.
He's pretty good dude.
Jim Beavers?
Awesome.
Jim Carrey.
Jim Crocey?
I say bad, bad.
Leroy Brown.
Operator.
Jim Ross.
What about Jimmy?
Jimmy.
Jimmy Buffet, man.
Here's the thing about Jimmy's.
They think they're a little younger than they are.
Oh, because that's where they're Jimmy.
Grow up, James.
Okay?
But I like that.
It's a good story.
Give him back.
That's what it's all about.
Thank you.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
is a win. A win is a win. I don't care what you're saying. Yep, that's me, Clivert Taylor

There's two golden rules that any man should live by.
Rule one, never mess with a country girl.
You play stupid games, you get stupid prizes.
And rule two, never mess with her friends either.
We always say that trust your girlfriends.
I'm Anna Sinfield, and in this new season of the girlfriends,
Oh my God, this is the same man.
A group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist.
I felt like I got hit by a truck.
I thought, how could this happen to me?
The cops didn't seem to care.
So they take matters into their own hands.
I said, oh, hell no.
I vowed.
I will be his last target.
He's going to get what he deserves.

I doctored the test ones.

So Bobby Bones show interviews.
In case you didn't know.
His name is Ryan Blaney, the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series champion.
He's got 10 NASCAR Cup Series wins.
He competes with the iconic Team Penske.
So just like that show Ponsars whenever he doesn't know anything about a Star Wars sword,
he brings in a Star Wars expert.
Yeah, yeah.
Or he doesn't know how the washer and dryer machine works.
So he brings in the washer and dryer historian.
I brought in Morgan, number one, who loves NASCAR.
That's smart.
Thank you.
She's my Pond Stars.
So Ryan Blaney is here
The driver of the number 12 Ford Mustang
Let's go
On the Bobby Bones show now
Ryan Blaney
Ryan it's good to meet you
When you walked in you did not have a mustache
Yeah I
My whole beard mustache hair
Got taken care of like two days ago
Unfortunately
What was the story behind it?
They enjoy me being a little bit more clean shaven
Like the Yankees
They're like the Yankees
Yeah I get away with it in the playoffs
Like I had a playoff beard
And stuff like that
But I figured for this
We should
we should shave it off.
This is Morgan.
So Morgan is one of my dearest friends.
We work together.
She's also a massive NASCAR fan.
Okay.
I'm going to ask some really unintelligent questions,
not purposefully, but I know they'll come off as that.
So please forgive me.
And then Morgan's here to ask the intelligent questions.
So I want to ask about numbers on cars.
So you drive the number 12 Ford Mustang.
Yeah.
Is it like jerseys where, let's say you get into the league and
Cam Newton wants this number.
And he's like, you know what, Jimmy Claussen?
I want number two.
And Jimmy Clausen, like, I ain't giving you number two.
Do you have to pick from the numbers available, and what if you want a number that already exists on a car?
That's a good question.
So the teams own the numbers.
So like Roger Penske, my owner, he owns the 12, the 2, and the 22.
Do you buy that like an auction?
Come, what do you get a number of two?
Yeah, it's like, I mean, it's something that's been established for a long time.
Wow.
Like, and they trademark the numbers and stuff like that.
Does anyone have 69?
Unfortunately not.
Okay.
I think that's the next thing.
You can buy that one, Bones.
Can you imagine?
Yeah, you could.
I'm out there in my little car.
You could go.
I think you should be the number 69 when we come back here next year and raise
hilarious yeah okay Morgan let's do some intelligent questions now
Morgan number once here with Ryan Blaney I don't know if they're intelligent but I
kind of just want to be nosy are there any drivers in cup that you think would actually
struggle to change their own tire if they got a flat on the interstate no I don't that's
pretty basic or that they call AAA and they just wouldn't deal with it Denny is
Denny is calling AAA is he classic you think so yeah I could see that maybe
I think 95% of us could do it. No problem.
Okay.
I think most of us, though, don't want to wait for AAA for like three hours.
Your scanner audio is always really fun to listen to me.
It's always fun to you.
Oh, she was listening to the scanner audio.
Okay, here's the thing, right?
It's not just his, though.
Like, I...
Let me explain to everybody what I hear.
We're at D.C. I'm doing a show at Warner Theater, and I'm going on in like 25 minutes.
Great night.
And Morgan's got her headphones, and I'm thinking if I listened to some old jokes I did.
You know, I'm about to go on stage and be funny.
and I look at her computer and there's racing.
I'm going to watch.
He goes, well, I'm going to watch.
I'm listening to the scanner audio of them talking to each other.
It was a championship.
Okay, so we're getting down to the final four.
And I, you know, I've seen your show a few times.
That's true.
She has seen it a bunch of times, yes.
The scanner audio sounds pretty intense, though.
It can't get intense, yeah.
I love they release it.
They should do football, too.
Yeah.
I thought they did mic people up.
Yeah, I love the hot mic.
Like the hot mic.
But the scanners, like they're talking to each other.
He's talking to his team.
Oh, okay.
Do you know that, too, all the
time you're like I listen I got some stuff to say but they may be recording this oh yeah I mean there's a so
like on our scanners radios there's three people right so there's a driver with the radio crew chief and
like a spotter with the radio so there's only three people you're going to hear but yeah we have buttons
on our steering wheel that we can talk and yeah it's just a live mic anyone can listen to it
does your girlfriend ever get to like pop in and give you encouragement like go get him baby you got it
no no she doesn't she doesn't she totally should you just did an impression of somebody but you
sound exactly like you when you do that impression she literally sounded no different than herself you
You got a baby.
You got a baby.
And we're like, are you in an oppression or?
I feel like you've been in the background of people's fights.
I see you in videos just trying to, like, get out of the way.
Yeah.
But you're lively on the scanner.
You and Ross, I don't know if we have those clips.
You all had your moment at the championship race.
And I don't know if that's like real beef that goes into the next season or not.
But I'm advocating right now for you to get into a fist fight.
Let me hear this.
You are.
Let me hear this.
Go ahead.
Right.
I hit him on purpose.
I mean, yeah.
Yes, I hit him on purpose.
He blocked me on purpose.
purpose 10 times.
That's not in the car?
No, that was in the media center.
Got it.
I was like, man, those scanners sound good.
They got people right at the back.
No, I, uh, for me personally, the thing with he and I was fine.
Like, it was more of just a racing thing.
In the moment.
In the moment type stuff.
Like, I don't really ever hold grudges unless it's something like super egregious.
I don't know.
Maybe you're like, everybody like, everybody like, I was just doing a little recon with
some people I know that are inside.
They were like, no, everybody loves Ryan.
No, that's like, give me something.
They were like, no, dude, seriously.
Everybody loves Ryan.
And I was like, oh, great.
That's nice. That's good.
That's like you brought gifts too.
That's super cool.
Is this your helmet?
So we make little mini replica helmets.
Try it on, bones.
That's cool.
Nice, try it on.
Squeeze it.
My head is way too large anyway for a normal helmet.
Yeah.
This is really cool.
Thank you very much.
Yeah, and then we brought you a champ t-shirt too.
So I figure we bring you some gifts.
Well, we really appreciate your time.
I'm taking away this Legano helmet.
They're on the same team, man.
Yeah, you can keep that one.
I know.
I don't matter.
I've seen fist fights within teams.
Yeah, that's true.
I need.
I should have brought a.
a big one to. Well, this will be the placeholder. Then you send a big one. We'll change it out.
There we go. Yeah. Great to meet you. Thank you. You're as equally as awesome as everybody said.
Morgan, anything you want to say? You know, just keep doing you. And I hope you get a second championship next year.
Oh, thank you. That's good, Morgan. Do people recognize you and be like, what up, chap? And just yell like awesome things.
Sometimes I change my look up a lot, though. Yeah. You're telling me, you're walking in here.
You're freaking faces. I know, I changed my look up too much. But yeah, yeah. It's awesome.
just people yell champ at you.
Sometimes, yeah.
Mostly, like, I'm in there.
They're like, hey, douchebag.
And I'm like, that's all fun.
You know what I mean?
All right, there he is.
Ryan Blady.
Thank you, Ryan, Lightning.
Thanks, man.
So Eddie and Morgan are about to arm wrestle.
I forget why we're doing this.
I don't remember either.
Well, I definitely, I think, said maybe Morgan could win,
and then Eddie probably wins to.
You instigated all this.
I think so.
And I'm just standing up, like, obviously, that's not possible.
So that's all I said.
But Morgan is a very strong athletic.
Yeah, yeah, I'm a dude.
Like, I'm going to beat her.
Just because you're a dude?
Yeah.
So here's the cash prize.
Eddie, if you win, you win $20 cash.
Wow.
If you get the door one, two, or three that we do the door game.
Okay.
Morgan, if you win, you get $100, no door.
Guaranteed, I like it.
Yeah, just get $100.
You get the money.
Don't have to pick a door.
I like it.
And just so you know, that's what an underdog gets.
You're the underdog, so underdog is.
Turning this into a villain.
Are you a villain?
No, I'm just saying.
You're turning your something to a villain here.
I'm not a villain.
I'm just saying the truth.
Okay, Amy, who do you...
I'm still...
No, who do you really think is going to win?
Morgan.
For real, for real, for real.
Morgan.
Morgan's very strong.
No doubt.
No doubt.
I mean, I was looking at our arms and we have pretty similar arms.
I'm not going to lie.
That's weird.
I don't like that.
Ramudow, what do you think?
This one is so hard.
It's hard.
The arm wrestle, I believe my sister at times in life could beat me.
So because of that, I do want to go with Morgan on this one.
It doesn't matter that you're a dude when it comes to arm wrestling.
If you guys are wrestling, you.
Arm wrestling, I go Morgan.
Well, good thing we're not wrestling.
Oh, man, as much as it pains me to say this, I think Eddie's going to win.
Yeah, man.
It's a close one.
I think just because of the leverage advantage, Eddie's got an advantage.
What do you mean leverage?
You're taller.
But we're sitting down.
We're both going to sit down.
It's still.
Like, does arm length mean anything?
Because his arms are longer?
Sure. It's like a short boxer and a tall boxer.
Tall arm, short arm.
You're over the top a little.
Okay, well, Eddie, walk over to your seat.
Come on.
I'm going to, I think Eddie's going to win, but I'm rooting for Morgan.
Okay.
Okay.
Let me pull this up.
You can't do that.
Yeah.
How do you do that?
No, I'm picking.
I think you're going to win.
But I can't pull up my shirt.
No, you can.
I think I'm with you too.
I want Morgan to win, but if I'm picking, if I'm betting, I'm betting on him.
But even right now, I feel like how they're sitting.
Eddie's up higher.
Yeah.
Why don't you two just stand up?
That's a major...
Get out of your seat.
Advantage.
You got it.
And then bend over.
Still going to be a bigger advantage.
You got it.
No, but if they're both bending over, at least that's equal.
Okay, so don't do anything yet.
Now they're the same level.
Lunchbox, go over and manage this.
And bones.
The way it's set up, too, I got these little buzzers.
So, look, this isn't the game.
But if I win, you're going to hear this.
You can't hear anything, Eddie.
Yeah.
And you're not going to do that.
So lunchbox is going to put his hands on top of yours.
Do not start pushing until I say go.
Eddie, take your name about that.
Yeah, you can't.
Yeah, you can't grab the table, Eddie.
It's automatic as qualification.
I didn't know the rule, man.
He's getting leveraged.
Did you see that?
Okay, so Morgan and Eddie both have the right arms.
They're locked in arm wrestling position.
Lunchbox over the top of their hands.
Do not push until I say go.
Yeah, that's intimidating.
Sweets and fine, no arm push.
Here we go.
I'll go one, two, three on go after three.
Okay.
Morgan, inhale and exhale when you push.
Here we go.
One, two, three, go.
Oh, my gosh.
Oh, they're tight.
Oh, Morgan's.
Oh, my God.
I feel like I'm wrestling my 15-year-old.
What?
Okay, Eddie's holding her.
Eddie's pushing hard.
You want me to beat her now?
Eddie's pushing.
Eddie's got a little advantage.
Do you want me to delay it?
Eddie's moving a little bit.
It's not you close.
Come on Morgan.
Okay, but you're shaking.
Yeah, why are you?
Eddie's got like it.
He's leaned over a little bit.
You want to end it?
Close it.
Do we want to end it?
Oh, Eddie wins.
Oh, that hurt.
Morgan's shoulder is like hot.
Oh my God.
I was like, I need to give up.
Okay, okay, okay, okay.
Okay, but like, why wouldn't you just go for it?
Why were you were acting like I wasn't like by you?
Yeah, he was, I wanted you to make you, I wanted to make you feel like you had a chance.
He was digging on that carrot in front of you and like he was trying to get it and he was pulling it away.
I know you're saying that, but like he was pushing against me.
You do think that?
Yeah.
As hard as he could.
He was pushing.
He's faking a little bit.
Do you want a rematch for a hundred dollars?
No.
No. We don't want to rematch.
You won, congratulations.
Thank you.
And again, I'm not proud of it.
myself and just this is just the way it works.
You are proud of yourself a little bit.
I don't want you to sit here and act like though that you weren't pushing back because you were.
She did give you a good fight.
Okay, guys.
You don't think so?
Yeah, you know what she did.
Okay, good.
She gave me a good fight.
Now, Eddie, you have three doors here.
If you picked the right door, you win $20.
Here we go.
So we'll open the door.
I'll go, give me door number eight.
And then if the money's back there, you'll hear this.
Eddie, what door would you like to go to?
That is your door.
It's one through three.
It's easy.
One, two, or three.
I like number one.
Are you sure?
I would recommend you change doors.
You do recommend that?
I didn't recommend that.
And last time you said that, you really meant it.
But I recommend you change doors.
What door?
Door number three.
I recommend you change it back to door number one.
Oh, okay.
I'll go door number one.
But now I recommend you change door number two.
Oh, boy.
Amy, he does this.
I have no idea because you can never know.
You never know with him.
Okay, I'll go to.
Nothing's consistent.
Which door do you want?
Give me door number one.
That's the one door I say you shouldn't take.
No, but then you made me go back.
I know.
And then I went two and you're like, well, I'm giving you another chance.
This is the last thing I'm going to say, that's the door you probably shouldn't take is door number one.
The first door I thought of when we started this game was one.
So give me door number one.
I'll give you double if you pick a different door.
Why does he do?
And it's the right one.
Why does he do this?
Doubles better.
I mean, double's better than single.
But what do you think he's doing?
I think he has set every door to get in your head.
And now I have, I lost track of what door he said what.
That's where I'm at.
If you move on from door number one, you go to two or three,
and it's that door you'll get double, which is $40.
Or you can stay at door number one, and if it is door number one, you win $20.
Which is the original price.
Which is the original price.
You always go for double, dude.
I'm going to stay with door number one.
Okay, this will be the last offer I make you.
Oh, God, here we go.
Last offer I make you.
I will now, if you change doors, I will go four doors wide and make it $100.
You'll add one door.
be $100.
Ooh, you're adding a door.
Well, then you know it's not the door number four
because he's already locked in.
But he can move the money.
The money is not moved.
Oh, it's not moved.
So it's not four because he added that.
Exactly.
So smart.
Why would you help him?
Why would you help him?
No, I already thought that.
I don't think you did.
I don't think you did.
I don't know why I helped him.
I just.
I really thought you could move the money, so.
To the same place.
The logical me, I had to just do it.
I'm saying with door number one.
Okay.
Open up door number two, please.
Okay, good.
You know, just for fun, open up door number four.
Yeah!
So is this for $100 right here?
No, it's for $20 because he never moved.
I never moved.
If you want to go to door three only, $100.
But the money never moved.
So it was already going to be $20.
Or am I just screwing with you?
Yeah, you're definitely screwing with me.
So you can say it one for $20 or $3 for $100.
Last chance.
Amy, what would you do?
Go for that $100.
I mean, $20.
Why not?
Why not?
Change your life?
No, but I mean, it's $20 for $20 or $300.
your life. I'm saying. $20. I can buy a 12.
Absolutely. So you're going with one?
Are you going with one? Give me one.
Okay. Give me one.
Open up door number one.
I have no idea what door Eddie started with.
One. One. Is that the one you started?
Arm wrestling champion and 20 bucks, Richard.
What a day, dude. I won 20 bucks and I beat a girl at arm wrestling.
Okay.
What a loser.
A voicemail from Stephanie in Sacramento.
I would love to plan a trip to Nashville.
I've never been and I've really been wanting to go.
and I wanted to find out if you guys would be doing a million dollar show in early
2024 because I thought that would be a good opportunity to plan a trip.
So I would love to find that out on the show.
Thanks so much.
The answer is yes.
We just don't know the exact date yet.
We're kind of trying to figure that out now.
Million dollar show is a show that we do for St. Jude.
It's Eddie and myself, our band The Raging Idiots, and then artists join us on stage and we raise a bunch of money
and we're still trying to find the date.
But yes, we plan to do it.
And we plan for it to be awesome.
And we plan to make a bunch of money, but none of that's happening yet.
But Thursday and Friday, the St. Jude Radiothon right here on this show.
So we have a lot of cool guests stopping by.
If you become a partner in hope, you get this new Pimp and Joy sweatshirt.
That's awesome.
So that's happening later on this week.
All right, here is another voicemail.
I just wanted to say thank you for your ongoing support and advocacy of mental health and therapy.
I think it's really important to help reduce the stigma.
I'm really glad that you guys are open about it.
I'm a therapist.
and I really think that a lot of people could benefit from more therapy,
and I think it's a great thing that you guys are so open and honest about its benefits.
So thank you again.
Keep it up.
Love the show.
Hey, thanks.
Appreciate that.
If you guys are, man, I wish I could do something with therapy.
You can try BetterHelp, something we do here on the show.

Here's Amy's pile of stories.
The latest spa trend is a Hannibal Lecter facial.
Or somebody, or a fish eats the skin off your face?
Or something eats the skin?
No, it's like this white mask gets put on your face and electric currents are sent through it,
promising glowing skin and decreased acne.
No, we need some cannibalism if it's going to be Hannibal Lecter.
Yeah, yeah. Why is that?
Because he got electrocuted?
I have no idea.
There's something on his face, maybe?
Well, he puts on somebody else's face.
Man, I don't remember.
Like a map.
Mike, what?
Let's go to a movie, Mike, here.
Go ahead.
Yeah, you wear somebody's skin.
Right.
It's like a mask for him.
Yeah.
Right.
So this is putting a mask on your face.
And doctors are saying, hey, there could be possible burns, issues if you're wearing a pacemaker.
So FYI.
And results are temporary.
So maybe just wait for more studies to come out on this before you get a done.
Go for it.
Let it rip.
Hey, Mike, question for you, why don't they, with all the remakes, why don't they make a new silence of the lambs?
They did a TV show.
They did?
They'll probably remake it eventually.
Because I feel like even that reference, somebody that's, hey Morgan, do you know Silence of the Lambs?
No, I was just looking up who Hannibal Lecter is.
Right.
I feel like that reference is lost if you're probably 34 or below, for the most part.
So people wouldn't know who Clarice is either.
Maybe the show is called Clarice.
I think this is called Hannibal in like the 2010s.
They should remake that one.
I would.
That's why they remake all these movies is because they know that they're not going to lose a bunch of money, right?
It's all just people covering their butts.
And sure, people are like, why don't they make original stuff?
Well, because that's risky.
But if you remake something, people already know,
and you can guarantee there's going to be some money made as an executive.
That's what you want.
Yeah, Hannibal, the TV show in 2013.
Hi, Amy, what else?
Speaking of movies, one of my favorite Christmas ones is Home Alone.
And in the movie, Kevin spends $19.
$0.83 when he has to go to the grocery store by himself.
He bought one eighth pound of ham today.
He bought bread, a TV dinner,
milk, orange juice, and a pack of Armymen and some other items.
And this guy on TikTok, Jeffrey Lyons,
he wanted to figure out how much those same exact items would cost today.
And he did the math.
And for the 10 groceries that were purchased,
instead of 1983, it would be about $68 in today's money.
Yeah, that's mostly not so much inflation,
mostly just things getting more expensive.
Probably a little bit inflation,
but Armymen haven't gone up at all.
I looked.
already men have stayed the same price
Yeah, who buys those?
Exactly.
Well, and also in the movie, Kevin did have a dollar coupon
for the Tropicana orange juice.
Good for him.
Shop and smart.
I guess the story's been making the rounds
claiming that Hank Williams Jr.
wouldn't be caught dead on stage with Garth Brooks.
And some people are throwing in their opinion like,
oh yeah, I feel that.
I wouldn't either.
Or some people are like, what?
And they're slamming him for it.
Well, it turns out the quote is entirely made up.
So no need to pick aside here.
You're telling me the internet made something off.
Oh, wow.
I'm shocking.
To, like, push an agenda?
No way.
Yeah.
So, you know, yeah, I'm telling you most things on the internet.
Read them with a grain of salt.
Okay.
All right.
Amy, that's my pile.
That was Amy's pile of stories.
It's time for the good news.
With lunchbox.
Stay home there's something good.
15-year-old Taryn Brooks is wasting time on social media.
Scrolling, scrolling, scrolling.
And she comes across a post from the Humane Society and says, look, we got this dog
that's up to no good, gets in trouble,
just needs some, you know, leadership in its
life. Please come adopt it.
Little dog's name was Eddie,
little wiener dog.
And so Taryn goes to her mom's like,
Mom, look, there's this dog that gets
in a lot of trouble down at the shelter. I need
to adopt that dog. And I promise
that means that would be my only Christmas
present. I don't want anything else.
Mom agrees. Taryn comes
home, brings little Eddie the weaner dog home.
Says, listen, you're going to start behaving.
Makes the social media page,
tells his story and people start flooding Taryn with gifts and dog supplies and stuff for the shelter.
That's cool.
Even giving her mom gifts.
And now it has like 40,000 followers on social media.
That's cool.
Yes.
Little Eddie and the weiner.
Eddie the weener.
Eddie the weiner dog sounds like a rascal like.
Yeah, it's a little wiener dog though, too.
Tiny winner.
Yeah, classic Eddie.
Okay, there you go.
That's what it's all about.
That was tell me something good.
A win is a win.
A win is a win.
A win.
I don't care what I'm saying.
Yep, that's me, Cliver Taylor the 4th.

I'm Ago Wodom. My next guest, it's Will Ferrell.
Woo, woo, woo, woo, woo.
My dad gave me the best advice ever.
He goes, just give it a shot.
But if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit.
If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration.
It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat.
Just hang in there.
Yeah, it would not be.
Right, it wouldn't be that.
There's a lot of luck.
Listen to Thanks, Dad, on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
This is an IHeart podcast.
Guaranteed human.
