This is an I-Heart podcast.
Guaranteed human.
A win is a win.
A win is a win.
I don't care what you're saying.
Yep, that's me, Clifford Taylor the 4th.
You might have seen the skits, my basketball and college football journey,
or my career in sports media.
Well, now I'm bringing all of that excitement to my brand new podcast, the Clifford Show.
This is a place for raw, unfilled conversations with athletes,
creators, and voices that not only deserve to be heard, but celebrated.
So let's get to it.
Listen to The Clifford Show on the IHard Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.
And for more behind the scenes, follow at Clifford and at TikTok Podcast Network on TikTok.
When a group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist, they take matters into their own hands.
I vowed. I will be his last target.
He is not going to get away with this.
He's going to get what he deserves.
We always say that trust your girlfriends.
Listen to the girlfriends.
Trust me, babe, on the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
What's up, everyone? I'm Ago Vodam.
My next guest, it's Will Ferrell.
My dad gave me the best advice ever.
He goes, just give it a shot.
But if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit.
If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration.
It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat.
Just hang in there.
Yeah, it would not be.
Right, it wouldn't be that.
There's a lot of luck.
Listen to thanks, Dad, on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Back for vacation.
Morning.
Oh, man, I couldn't wait for this day.
Yeah, that's weird.
I know you guys look forward to vacation and I do too, but, man, this is, I love coming back to work.
I was hoping for a couple more weeks on.
love coming back to work. I'm so happy to be here. I'm happy that you guys are here. I'm happy
that our listeners are here and let's go around the room and check in with everybody.
Now, recently, he was locked in the pillory as punishment. Without him, we'd have no video content.
That's weird. All right, Eddie!
Guys, my son came home from school the day so excited. He's like, Dad, Dad, I'm doing the talent
show. I'm like, okay. I mean, I used to love the talent show. I was like, what are you doing?
He said, I'm going to do basketball tricks. Okay, like what? He's like, oh,
I'm going to, like, you know, do little stuff between my legs and then maybe a little hook shot here and there.
Like, all right, well, work on your routine.
How old's the kid?
He's nine.
Got it.
Work on your routine.
I think that'd be great.
But I thought it would be cool to come here and ask you guys, like, if we were to do a show talent show right now, what would be your talent?
Juggling.
Yeah, you're good at juggling.
My favorite, though, is you act like you don't know how to juggle and you're like, oh, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
There are three of these?
How did I see all this on two?
Oh, oh, wow.
Wow!
Yeah.
How did you learn how to juggle?
Did maintenance on a golf course
and we'd find golf walls in the woods
when I would be mowing or weed eating.
And so then you would just be waiting for people to go through
so I learned how to juggle.
That's amazing.
That's how I learned how to juggle.
Wow.
Probably that if we're doing things that people don't know us for,
because I could get up and try to do a Mexican set talent, stand-up comedy.
Sure.
But I'd probably juggle.
Can you juggle and, like, do something else too?
Yeah.
Like juggle and then like ride a bike?
I don't know about that.
Okay.
Because that'd be cool.
I probably run on a treadmill and do it.
But a bike, if I'm going forward, maybe not.
But I can probably run out a treadmill.
What would you do?
I mean, people don't think that I can, like, throw a really far spiral football.
You get a lot of points for that one.
How far is really far if you did it?
Never measured, but it's like they probably think if I throw it, it's going to be all wobbly, but it's a spiral.
Mm-hmm.
That's, that's, okay.
I mean, that's our talent.
I thought it was a talent that, like, would surprise people.
But you win the, but still would win the show.
Oh, I don't know.
Lunchbox?
I would do things.
I can't do.
Things normal people can do, but I can't.
Touch my toes, touch my shoulders, pat myself on the back,
sit, crisscross, apple, sauce.
I would just do a whole plet, plet, what is it called?
Plethora.
Plethora of things that, oh my gosh, how can you not do that?
And that would be my talent.
It is fascinating.
And I would do things, too, I couldn't do.
Fly.
No, no, but everybody, no, no, no.
I would do a backflip in the air.
No, but most people can't do it.
No, no.
I'd breathe fire.
No.
And every time I would try to be like, like, August, I can't do that.
Do you understand?
Amy, you get it, right?
It's, it's...
Okay, see.
In my right eye.
But most people can do these things.
I can't see with the right eye at all.
Okay, that's one thing.
That's only one.
Perform surgery.
Boom, got it.
See, that's what I'm saying.
Eat a football helmet.
That's on my desk.
Oh, wow.
I would like to see you do that.
I can't.
I can't.
You would look and I'd be like, can't do it.
See, Eddie, what would you do?
Oh, you're such.
Guys, I could walk with my eyes blindfolded and not hit a thing.
Like, I would do an obstacle course, and I'd be like, watch this.
blindfold me.
No, you can't.
No, you can't.
Absolutely.
I've been doing this
as I was a kid.
You liked a person
to clams and
hold their breasts
for three minutes,
but they're secretly breathing
through the nose.
Well, yeah, maybe.
Well, that's fun for him, though.
Yeah, man, I can't wait.
Shots.
Yeah.
I got a lot of stuff.
My mind's just spinning
of all the things I couldn't do.
You can't do?
I watch this.
Now I'm going to try to lift the car.
But you can't do it.
I can do a little piano recital.
We give you a 10.
Oh, yeah.
I could.
That's a great point, too.
I would play the cello.
No.
I can't.
I can't play the cello.
Most people can't play the cello.
Exactly.
He continues to ride his bike to work.
He doesn't have to pay for gas.
So that's a perk.
Here he is.
Lunchbox.
I'm here with Pitch a bit.
We've done this in the past where I bring you a bit and I think we should do it on the show.
And this one is, we need to send Lunchbox.
That's me to Firefest 2.0.
What's happened?
Billy McFarlane announced that FireFest 2.0 is on.
Here we go, Ray.
What's up, guys. This is a big day.
Fire Festival 2 tickets are officially on sale.
It has been the absolute wildest journey to get here,
and it really all started during the seventh month stint and solitary confinement.
We are targeting Fire Festival 2 for the end of next year.
Guys, this is your chance to get in.
This is everything I've been working towards.
Let's go. And we're going back to the Bahamas.
And you want us to pay to send you on vacation?
This is going to be the biggest thing.
in pop culture and we got to be there to report live.
This is the one where the first one was a flop, right?
It happened.
She's into prison.
Yes.
They're trapped.
She's on toast, man.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yellow school buses.
And it's not until the end of 2024.
Yeah.
Well, here's what I would do.
I will say to be continued and in six months we'll readdress it.
Okay.
I mean, it's a pretty good idea, though.
I don't think so.
I think it's you just wanted a vacation.
Yeah, right.
There's going to be a lot of big artists there getting straight up interviews with
them backstage.
I mean, come on.
What artists have committed?
None that I know yet.
Okay.
But they will.
I mean, did you see all...
How much your tickets?
I don't know, man.
Have you done any research on this?
Or did you just watch the video and go?
Like, I'm taking this on the air.
Well, I was like, man, this is perfect.
Festival 2.0.
Just let us know in six months, okay?
Oh, wait, here's two tickets.
I mean, he could be part of the next documentary.
Exactly.
What?
Like, there was a documentary about the first one.
They're, um...
$500.
A piece?
Wow.
We gotta give me like VIP.
She ran into her reverse husband
at her yoga class.
They live close together.
She may have run it him while they're getting gas.
Here's Amy.
Okay, so
have you ever not had your clothes on
and thought, nobody can see me right now?
It doesn't matter.
Just text me during the show?
Don't check it yet.
Is it a picture of what you're talking about?
Don't open it yet.
I want your reaction.
Okay.
because I think sometimes like when you're in a hotel you don't know like are the windows tinted like can someone really see it and I'm just changing my clothes like whatever well in this case there was a couple in Nashville at the four seasons that were kind of high up that their room faced right next into like an office building where my friend works and was they were having a party and if the sun hits just right they've never seen anything.
crazy, but on this particular
evening, they saw
this. Check your phone. Check your phone.
Did you send it all of us?
No. We all me do?
Yeah, send it. Yep. Send it.
I mean, they're butt naked sitting in chairs.
And I don't think they think that people
can see in their window.
Are they just having a conversation? They're just
sitting in chairs butt naked.
Right. So that is what my
Yeah. Isn't
that crazy? So this is just a
PSA that when you're in, no.
When you're at a hotel or maybe even high rise of some sorts or where, who knows, you never
know what people can see.
So just be careful because I don't think these people thought they could be seen.
I agree.
They don't know they're being seen.
I mean.
When the windows open, you don't think people can see you?
I don't know if they.
Sometimes those windows have like a dark coating.
I agree.
I agree.
If the curtains are open, I'm assuming anyone can see.
I mean, I remember, I remember in.
college, there was a Wendy's by the university, and there was a window and people would stand
in there. Yeah, it was nice. You'd go through a drive-thru. You'd see all sorts of things.
What? What? What's you talking about?
Bray, go ahead. From Mountain Pine, Arkansas, he hosts the Bobby cast, and it's become popular
really fast. Bobby Bones. Thank you. I just want to let you guys know I did request an interview
with Rob Deardick, because of you've been watching the show.
Fancy Factory. I've never seen ridiculousness. Does he still do it? Yeah, I think it's still on all
time.
Oh, yeah. I don't know. I'm a fan.
from about like 10 years ago.
Because we watched all those episodes back.
It's a funny show.
So I reached out and I was like,
hey, can I interview with Rob Deerdick?
I want to talk about,
I don't know what to say.
So I was like,
I want to talk about his philosophy
on life and success.
So is it happening?
I don't know.
I just asked for it.
And I rarely say who I requested an interview
from, because sometimes it doesn't happen.
But I just want you guys to know,
we're trying to line up that Rob Deardick interview.
Okay.
Because I'm big fan from 10 years ago.
Because you've just started watching it.
Just now.
And only because my wife is like,
we've got to watch Fantasy Factory.
It's so funny.
So hopefully soon we'll have Rob Dyer dick on the show.
Everybody knows who he is, right?
Yeah.
No.
He's worth like $300 million now.
Hey, what?
I saw a TikTok where he's talking about it.
Like, he, in the last three or four years, he's accumulated almost all of his wealth.
Last three or four years.
He also sends an email to his wife every morning before he goes about his day,
tell her everything he's doing and how important it is to him, so she knows on the scale,
like what is a priority and what is it?
Since an email every day.
Oh my gosh, you can start doing that?
No, I think I try to do an okay job of that, but I don't.
But I'm not going to do that specifically because I wouldn't maintain it.
That's intense.
You should handwrite it.
Leave a Post-it.
You should imagine if Caitlin wakes up with a post-it on her forehead.
On her forehead?
My name keeps elevating.
Or wherever.
We're back from vacation.
Let's open up the mailbag.
You send an email and we read it all the air.
It's something we call Bobby's Mailbag.
Yeah.
Hello, Bobby.
I found myself in a horrible situation.
My husband works away from home for months at a time.
I had been feeling very lonely lately
and found comfort
and talking to my husband's brother.
Over the past few weeks,
we have been getting closer
and one thing led to another.
My husband came back a month ago
and I just found out that I'm pregnant.
The baby is definitely not my husband's.
Did you squeak?
Oh, yeah, I thought this is, this is an email.
Yeah, I know.
Sometimes we get these and we're like, wow, we can't.
We change out slight details
if they're a little too on the nose.
But yes, I feel horrible for the whole situation.
I don't know what to do.
My husband and his brother look very much alike,
so I doubt he would ever know the baby isn't his.
So do I tell him the truth or just pretend that cheating never happened?
Help.
Don't want to lose my marriage.
Sincerely, signed.
Full of regret.
You want to go?
I can go.
Go.
Quicker you tell him.
Quicker you're going to figure it out or not.
You just got to tell him.
You just have to tell him.
The baby needs to know who his dad is.
Forget even your shadiness.
forget even that
but your baby needs to know who his dad is
that's what I would put it
on the most
so is you thinking just because
they are brothers that look like
that there's not going to ever be a question of
oh I didn't even think about that
what the baby looks like oh yeah that's what she's saying
yeah they look so much alike
so okay
it's not like her husband's black
and this guy's white and she's like
oh no there's a risk of it not looking like us
but if she never tells him
like the math's
not going to add up right
Like it's going to be like, wait a minute, nine months.
Well, maybe, but he could have been, I don't know that.
I don't know that he didn't come back for this or that or a weekend.
I don't know.
But if there is a chance, like if there is a chance where the math does add up,
do you, can you just run with it?
You can, but I wouldn't.
It's eventually going to come out one way or another.
And it sucks.
And you did it.
You did it.
And you know what?
Your husband's brother's a real idiot, too.
Does the DNA, like,
Like, say that they did a test later.
I don't know, sibling DNA, how that...
Very similar, not exactly the same.
Okay, so it would pop up, not the father.
Yeah, for sure.
Okay.
Yes.
But also, why is his brother hooking up with...
Like, that's a dirty dog, too.
You're all dirty dogs.
You're dirty to be punished.
Where's he now?
Does he know?
I have one email in me.
I don't know.
It happens, man.
You're asking for, like, a backstory.
Probably just read what he is.
And I would change out a couple little things so they wouldn't be identified very easily.
Okay.
you're not going to want to do it, but you have to say something, just for the baby's sake.
And you're safe. Like, clearly it's weighing on you, so.
Not really. They'd run. Do I tell him the truth or pretend it never happened?
Oh. But also even another bad thing is if his brother ends up one day going to tell him because he's taken up.
It's like which criminal wants to admit it so they get a lesser sentence.
Yeah.
You've done something to essentially destroy the family.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
You're talking, you didn't just cheat. You cheated with the brother of your.
your husband. There's no way that this is going to be okay at the end, right? Not for a while.
It could be at the end, but not for a while and probably not. Probably not, no.
So, but it's going to destroy the whole family. So you did it. You made your bed. I go lay in it.
And if you want to fix it and correct it, you need to go as soon as possible so you can get it
fixed earlier if it's going to be fixed. If not, you're always going to live with it. It's going to be
terrible. You can run with it and hopefully no one ever knows. But then the guy doesn't
you know he has a kid either, the brother, which is terrible.
Yeah. Go ahead.
I mean, look, it's going to destroy the family.
I had a friend that did this.
Which part of it?
She was married and her sister hooked up with her husband.
Oh.
And the family is destroyed.
They don't talk.
There's no saving it.
Your brother, his, the two brothers are never going to talk again.
It's over.
What about the wife of the brother, too?
It's their marriage.
Exactly.
That's what I'm saying.
Like, you got to tell her.
Tell them.
Yeah.
If you care at all, that's family, you got to tell it.
so you can hopefully try to build something back.
Otherwise, I mean, you're for sure, for sure.
Because there's that glimmer of hope.
No, there's no hope.
It's like very, very faint.
It's like a rusty spoon.
Like if you turn it just right, maybe you get a little shine and part of it.
But yeah, you did it.
You need to admit it just for the baby.
You already were selfish once.
Don't be selfish twice.
We got your team.
Lunchbox, why did you get kicked off social media?
I got an email and it said,
you have to do something to your account or you're going to be kicked off.
We're going to banish your account or erase your account.
I'm like, yeah, right.
That's a scam.
But why? Why were they saying? What would you do?
Inactivity.
Really?
And that's why I was like, I don't know what, what's going on.
What platform?
Hold, I'm going to get there.
Oh, okay.
And then, I'm on the edge of my seat.
And I'm like, there's no way they're going to really kick you off or not using your account enough.
I get a second email says, you have till 8 p.m. or your account will be deactivated.
I'm like, I've heard scam alert before, and this has scam alert written all over it,
but they sent a follow-up email.
That's weird.
And then sure enough, 8.
I'm no longer on Marco Polo.
They deactivated my account.
Marco Polo?
Is anyone still on Marco Polo?
No, no, no, no.
I thought it was like Instagram or Twitter or something.
They kicked me off, dude.
So I, if you are friends with me on Marco Polo,
I can't send you any more Marco Polo's because...
When's the last time you've sent a Marco Polo?
I probably sent three in my life.
And I didn't really understand it.
I was like, this is terrible. I'd rather just text someone.
And I never realized they would deactivate your account for inactivity,
but they kicked me off their social media platform,
which is crazy because I'm like,
Marco Polo, don't you want accounts
because no one's using your app?
Somebody may want your name.
Oh, no.
They requested it.
And now they wanted to kick you off
so someone else could act like you.
Marco Polo's an app where you can on do video,
send video messages with somebody.
Yeah.
You send the whole message, boom, send.
It's like FaceTime, but if you can just send a text,
FaceTime.
Yeah.
You record a short video instead of texting a video,
it goes through that app.
But yes, I got banned.
I got booted from Marco Polo.
The social media giant called Marco Polo.
I'll tell you what it is at the end of the break.
You know what I haven't gone on the long time is Snapchat.
Probably three years.
I didn't have it on my phone.
Oh yeah, me neither.
I took it off my phone.
I wonder if I'm going to get an email saying get out.
I have to be on it because my daughter, but I mean, not even mine.
I go on hers.
Just a reminder to parents if you take a screenshot of anything, it sends a message.
What?
To the person you screenshot.
What did you screenshot of your daughters?
I just was in some, like going through her phone.
Anyway, Snapchat.
I was going through everything on her phone.
She got in trouble and she's grounded.
And so I find some interesting things.
And so I'm like, oh, I'm going to screenshot that.
And then the mom of the daughter that I screenshot called me.
And she's like, hey, Amy, just you know, if you screenshot something, they can tell.
Like she just came to me and told me.
and I just kind of owned it.
I was like, oh, yeah, I know.
I'm not worried about it.
I'm taking screenshots.
I don't care.
You're so beat.
You're so beat.
I know.
I was like, yeah, I know.
I know it takes a screenshot.
But inside, I was like, dang it.
Got busted.
What app are you on the most?
Instagram.
Oh.
Instagram.
Amy.
Instagram.
Lunchbox.
Oh, probably, I don't know, man.
Probably Twitter.
X.
I'll never call it X.
I say that, but it's just such a generic term.
I know.
And I can't find.
You can't find it.
You never find it on your phone.
But you can still type TW and it comes up on your phone if you do Twitter.
Yeah, because it's X in parentheses formally Twitter.
The fact that you search, you taught me that the other day.
I had no idea you could just type and like.
You just drag down.
I had no idea you could do that.
What's yours, Bones?
Probably TikTok.
Oh, yeah.
That's fun.
TikTok, Instagram are pretty close.
Twitter's a close, close third.
I don't know.
I love my phone.
I'm one of those people that would marry the Golden Gate Bridge,
but it's my phone.
But luckily I met my wife.
Luckily, yes.
The phone just allows you to connect in so many ways that people never had.
And it's only because people don't know how to use it, myself to it sometimes.
They get overwhelmed by it and it creates some sort of toxic relationship.
But this is the iPhone, the Android, it is such, it is so valuable.
Think about how much we get to talk with each other.
Think about if you lived 50 years ago.
What the heck?
Yeah, you never talk to your relatives because you couldn't long, long, distant call.
How do you even find somebody somewhere?
Right.
And that was in my life.
You had to go to a pay phone and call and be like, I'm at this corner.
Oh, that was tough.
Or you go to a town.
Like, I went in college to my roommate.
He lived in Elysian Fields, Texas, and I drove up there.
We were going to a wedding.
I was picking him up.
It was right after college.
And they didn't have cell phone service there.
My town didn't until like three years ago.
And so, like, I was like, I don't know how to get to his house because I didn't
know how to get there.
And so I stopped at the gas station.
I'm like, hey, you got, luckily they knew the Hodges is and they pointed me in the right direction.
Usually places that don't have cell phones.
know where everybody lives.
That's what Mountain Pine was.
I would have known where everybody was.
I was at a boat expo once.
And this dude was like, hey, can I help you with something?
I was looking at a boat.
And I was like, Justin?
He's like, dude, Eddie from high school?
And I hadn't seen him in like 12 years.
But I mean, that was, I never used Facebook or anything.
So like back in the day, we had to see each other like face to face.
Be like, dude, how have you been since high school?
But now you can just jump on Facebook and see everyone's doing.
You're like, oh, Justin works at the boat place.
You still jump on Facebook, though?
Sometimes I do, yeah.
Facebook is probably last for me
I don't really post anything on Facebook
I'll check on my sister over there
but I found out
because someone came to the day
and I see all your stuff on Facebook
and I thought someone was impersonating me
but then I found out when I put it on Instagram post on Facebook too
so I have a secret
Oh you have it linked up that's smart
I didn't do on purpose
I need to do that
Because that's both meta
Is that it?
It's one flick
Yeah you just have to have that button
X and meta don't got a lot of relation with them
Facebook and Twitter I do
What about threads man
You know, I visited.
What is that?
It's the Twitter on Instagram.
Oh.
I visited.
I have an account.
Yeah, I claim my territory, but I haven't really put up a house.
I got an email.
It's like if you don't activate it, you're going to get deactivated.
That was a lot.
Watch out.
I'm sorry for your loss.
Thank you, ma'am.
You don't get to be on Marco Polo anymore.
All right, thank you guys.
It's time.
There's a five-year-old Cassley Blake.
She lives in Oklahoma.
She was at school.
She had a loose tooth.
And all of a sudden, there was no tooth.
there, but it also was nowhere to be found.
She swallowed it. Oh, no.
So she was taken to
the principal's office, not because she was in trouble.
They just wanted to, like, check everything out.
And shout out Principal Roger Williams,
because he straight up without hesitation,
wrote a note to the Tooth Fairy,
vouching for the fact that there was a tooth.
Yeah, she needs to get paid.
Yes. And so when she got home,
she got $5 from the Toothairie?
That's right, principal, thank you.
He said this, please accept this letter
as official verification of a lost tooth
and provide the standard monetary exchange rate
you would normally use for a real tooth.
I'm toothed fair.
I'm confused by that,
but still I'm giving her the money.
Well, I think he was, you know,
leaving the dollar amount open to, you know,
he didn't want to promise a certain number.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Because he probably fluctuates.
I like it.
Like the stock market.
Wait, who fluctuates?
The tooth fairy, depending on...
I thought a girl, too.
Or he or she?
Oh, definitely she.
I don't know how they identify.
Yeah, I agree.
I just think fairy would be a,
a girl, like fairy godmother.
I know, the rock.
The rock.
I know, but that was like funny
because Rock was like the only male tooth fairy.
Okay.
But I just assumed ferry because fairy godmother.
What's that from? Disney?
That is a Cinderella.
That's right.
So that's my association.
Correct.
My association is...
I've never met a tooth fairy.
I've been called a fairy myself a couple times.
But mostly it's fairy godmother that I associate it with.
Yeah.
Okay, that's it.
That's what it's all about.
That was tell me something good.
A win is a win.
A win.
Yep, that's me, Cliver Taylor the 4th.

There's two golden rules that any man should live by.
Rule one, never mess with a country girl.
You play stupid games, you get stupid prizes.
And rule two, never mess with her friends either.
We always say that, trust your girlfriends.
I'm Anna Sinfield, and in this new season of the girlfriends...
Oh my God, this is the same man.
A group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist.
I felt like I got hit by a truck.
I thought, how could this happen to me?
The cops didn't seem to care.
So they take matters into their own hands.
I said, oh, hell no.
I vowed.
I will be his last target.
He's going to get what he deserves.
Listen to the girlfriends.
Trust me, babe.
On the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts,
or wherever you get your podcasts.
What's up, everyone?
I'm Ago Vodam.
My next guest, you know from Step Brothers Anchorman,
Saturday Night Live,
and The Big Money Players Network,
It's Will Ferrell.
Woo, woo, woo, woo, woo.
My dad gave me the best advice ever.
I went and had lunch with him one day, and I was like,
and dad, I think I want to really give this a shot.
I don't know what that means, but I just know the groundlings.
I'm working my way up through, and I know it's a place they come,
look for up and coming talent.
He said, if it was based solely on talent, I wouldn't worry about you,
which is really sweet.
Yeah.
He goes, but there's so much luck involved.
And he's like, just give it a shot.
He goes, but if you ever,
reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore,
it's okay to quit. If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration. It would not be on
a calendar of, you know, the cat, just hang in there. Yeah, it would not be. Right. It wouldn't be
that. There's a lot of luck. Listen to Thanks Dad on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your
podcast. Let's go over to Monica, who is on the phone.
Monica, appreciate your call on. What's going on?
Hi, Bobby. I'm calling from Austin.
First of all, I wanted to tell you I just moved here from Houston three years ago,
and I didn't know anything about you until I got here.
And I absolutely love you and your show.
Thank you. It's very kind of you. I love them too.
I even got your book, so I'm starting to read your book.
Thank you very much. Which one? Bear bones or fail until you don't?
The bare bones.
Oh, yeah, that's the one.
Stanley's the dog's first day school.
Audible.
Audible.
Audible, yeah.
Yeah, awesome.
Well, thank you very much.
What else can I do for you?
But I wanted to see if you could sing the Tuesday song.
Absolutely.
Okay.
Keep her on the line here.
Let her listen straight in.
Let's go.
Can she hear the music?
Yeah.
All right, here we go.
This is a Tuesday song.
We're back today, by the way, everybody.
Let's go.
Back, back, back.
Back on a Tuesday.
Yesterday was a holiday.
So here we go.
The best day of the week, you all know it's my time.
So I made a song about Tuesday so happens at rhymes.
The lowest number of crimes.
The super bingo at 9.
Don't know how you do your Tuesday.
This is how I do mine.
The sun comes up.
There's a smile on my mouth.
Why?
Because I love Tuesday is the first thing I shout.
Free Zumba this morning.
Every Tuesday at 5.
I got my spandex on.
It's time to head to the Y.
Tuesday.
H-O-A-D-D-U-S-D-D-E.
Housewife's going booze.
I'm just talking about Tuesday
It's Tuesday
Is my recycling on the curb
As a drive off?
Yep, my recycling's on the curve
I mean Fridays are fine
Because they're casual and all
But I'm always more productive
On my Tuesday conference call my after work plans
I got my spray tan
I'm drinking lemon water out of me some cayenne
Pebbles and Bam Bam, I'm watching C-SPAN
And then it's two for one
It's Sonic with a conie and each hand
I'm singing Tuesday
H-O-A-Duesday
Housewife's going booze
I'm just talking about Tuesday
Tuesday
Brown cow goes moose day
Eat some cash Tuesday
I'm just talking about Tuesday
Marty Gras on a Tuesday
I go to Cromaga on a Tuesday
I'm playing Pokemon
On a Tuesday
Came out of my mom
On a Tuesday
Hey, take a lunchbox freestyle
Hey
Tuesday I'm gonna take a nap today
Oh, go.
I don't know how to rhyme very well.
Go, go.
Man, I look at the bruise I got today from my bike.
And I'm going to have a Mike and Ike.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Psych.
That's about all I got.
That's a wrap.
Tap, tap.
What did you think of that?
Yeah.
I hope I don't get fat.
Yeah, I just, I like this, though.
I like he went for it, you know?
Got to admire that.
Monica, thank you very much.
I hope your Tuesday's awesome.
Thank you for listening to the show.
Thank you.
You guys.
Have a wonderful day.
Yeah, you too.
See you later.
If that didn't say that we're back.
I don't know what does.
All right, thank you guys.
Here's a voicemail we got over the weekend.
Hey, Bobby.
So, this guy asked me to Big Spoon him,
and I didn't know what to do.
And I know that you like to be Big Spooned.
And it was just so awkward
If you could give me any type of advice
Okay, thank you.
I don't know what advice you need.
She needs your help, man.
Look, usually
The man
Who is usually
Bigger in size and stature
Usually is the big spoon
Because they lay
And the smaller person lays in the front of them
Like their butt to front.
However, I discover that
I like to be a little spoon
and my wife, I don't say spoon me
I say hug me
so she like puts her arms over,
hugs me and then spoons me
what we think
is since I never
had any sort of like
love or like physical
as a kid that I'm now
I like that
it's safety
it's safety I guess
it makes sense
but you guys started laughing as soon as she started
talking about it because she needs your help
on this man it's just weird
most women aren't used to a guy saying
hey, well, you spoon me?
And it catches her off guard.
She's panicking right now.
No need to panic.
Actually, I'd be happy that you have a man that can express his needs.
Yeah, that's true.
Doesn't often happen.
So good for you for finding a guy that can express his needs.
Spoon the crap out of him.
Where do her hands go?
My wife's goes across my chest.
Okay, so like kind of crisscross?
Hugging crisscross.
No, no, you don't do the barmunder.
Oh, okay.
The arm under goes like in front of you and the other arm goes over the person.
Oh, see, that's what she's wondering.
Yeah.
And then, but when you fall asleep anyway, you're going to go back to your own places.
Even when I get spooned, we end up rolling out of it eventually.
Legs, they tuck in behind your legs.
Okay.
My legs.
Like, I do my legs, and if I'm laying kind of fetally type, her legs just kind of sneak in there too.
Does she lay her head like kind of on your ear or do you just like separate?
Yeah, where is her head?
That's a good question.
It's a great point.
I mean.
So she has, usually she'll double pillow that one up.
because they're even with the two pillows,
and she's just like staring at the back of my head,
but if she, like, double pillows it,
she's like up a little bit.
So she's higher than your head.
Yeah.
Okay, that makes sense.
Make sense.
Do you like to be tickle?
No, but I do like, I like to be hugged firmly some.
And I'm like, hug a little firm, more firm.
But then once you're asleep, she can let go.
We'll end up breaking it before I go to sleep because I just roll around too much.
Okay.
Sometimes I fall asleep being hugged.
Or, okay, spooned.
But it is what it is.
I think that was helpful.
I am who I am and I think you should love him for it.
Now, I spoon back too a lot.
It's probably a 40-60 deal.
Where I go 40, she goes 60.
Oh, wow.
Yeah.
Okay, your majority.
Of getting spooned.
Right, right.
Yes.
Nothing to be ashamed of.
That's all.
Heck, heck, I think it's kind of sexy.
Yeah.
Okay.
And she should think it's sexy.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Okay.
Anything else you guys want to add?
No, man.
No, no, we're good here.
It's weird that I'm the spooning guy.
I'm like the spooning consultant.
Well, no, these guys probably spoon.
They're just big spoon. I spoon. I don't get spooned.
Yeah. You never get spoon?
Never. Never.
Did you carry your purse too?
What? I do have a purse. And sometimes.
Okay.
Hey, who knows? Maybe I'd like it.
Who drives the car?
Exactly. It depends.
If we're in her car, she drives, or in my car I drive.
What is the subject to do with driving cars?
Right, that was weird. Why?
I'm just seeing who is like...
Because only men drive.
drive cars.
Pretty much.
Do you drive your wife regardless?
Even in her car?
Yeah.
I guess you don't have a car.
Correct.
Yeah.
But every time we walk out to the car, she goes right to the passenger side.
She knows.
She knows what?
I'm driving.
Because.
She's not a, I mean.
She's not what?
When the guy and the girl in the car, the guy's supposed to drive.
That's just how it's supposed to be.
The guy is mostly the better driver.
I don't agree with that, but I hear you.
Thank you for the voicemail.
If I need to be vulnerable and put it out there and get made fun of it.
I will. I wonder what my wife would say
if I said, hey, babe, I want you to be the
big stuff. Try it. Try it and record audio.
She'd know you're up to something. She'd know
you're up to something. All right, thank you.
If you want to look younger, this is what the story says
from Good Housekeeping Magazine. Now, all
this stuff seems like, yeah, duh.
But sometimes, yeah, duh, just need to be said again.
The top things you can do
to look younger, stop smoking.
Duh. Duh.
No crap. Stay out of the sun.
Yeah. Oh, really?
Do you think tan makes you look younger?
Well, I don't people, like my dog, every day goes outside and, like, ladies get the sun, like one hour of sun.
That's okay.
That's okay.
It's like she needs it.
It's a dog.
Yeah, it's a dog.
Yeah, but have you ever been to the beach and you see the people that live at the beach?
Yeah, yeah.
They look like leather.
They look, it's rough.
So some vitamin D is good.
You need that, but for a long time.
And they say try to stay married.
Do your best.
Uh-oh.
Here we go.
It's not really on there.
I swear to God.
Okay.
Yeah.
I'm not like lunchbox.
I'm not looking for every reason to go.
Whoa, I don't like to poke fun at divorce.
Researchers found that smoking adds 2.5 years for every decade you smoke.
Daily sun exposure can make you like five to seven years older
and the stress and long nights from getting divorced taxed on two to three years
on your hair color wrinkles and forehead furrows.
I wasn't going to say anything, Amy, but...
You look younger now than you ever have.
Let me be honest with you.
Thanks.
You look like a million bucks.
You've never been smoking.
You've never been hotter.
You don't have to do that just because the article...
I forget, even on the air.
You don't have to do that.
No, listen, I think that going through anything like that is very, very, very stressful.
But then also for some people staying in a relationship that's not healthy is going to end up aging you more.
Oh, whoa, whoa, won't say that.
What's up?
Don't say that so proudly.
I'm not saying that was my particular.
No, no, no, no.
I'm not saying that was even my particular.
She ran for the hill.
And that she looked so young and fresh.
That's not it.
That wasn't my particular case.
But I could imagine for some people staying in might age them more.
I agree.
I didn't know what you're wearing on my shirt.
Huh?
I gave her a shirt like five years ago.
Yeah, it was given to me as a gift.
To loan.
It was not alone.
You gave it to me like the George Street.
It's a vintage tea that was too small for you.
I bet it's not too small.
I like shirts of small.
Pretty cool Barry Manolo shirt, though, from the olden days.
I forgot I used to have that.
Dang.
Yeah.
Looks good on you.
Makes you look young.
Thanks.
Yeah.
I just want you feel confident.
I caught it.
I got it.
Every time you bring up, just so y'all know.
I didn't bring crap up.
I didn't bring up.
If we bring up a story, like, I'm fine.
I want to talk about it.
There's a lot of people going through it, and you don't have to make me feel better about.
Oh, divorce stories?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Like I don't.
Let me Google.
But no, you said to me, did you bring this up?
Well, I was just asking.
Because I didn't.
Yeah.
That's what's up.
Okay.
What's what's up?
Here's Amy's pile of stories.
I have four tricks to quickly find something that you've lost.
Meaning if you've misplaced something.
Yeah, because think of how much time you waste, like, trying to figure out where you put something.
Got it.
Maybe you can implement these four things.
and you'll find it faster.
Okay.
Okay.
First of all, check the spots where you've lost it before.
Like, if you've ever misplaced this item before?
The refrigerator.
I leave stuff in the refrigerator all the time.
That's not even refrigerate, like keys.
Remote control.
Yeah, because I'll be in there looking for something.
And I was telling me like, crap.
And then I lose it.
That's, I never thought about going back to where I always lose it, but it's
in the seat for me.
Yeah.
In the car.
My butt.
What?
Yeah.
My wife ago, was it in your butt?
Yeah.
It never has been, but I need to check because it sounds like it might be one time.
Yeah.
So, and then second thing is just,
retrace your steps, like try to think back when you last had the item most recently and
rewind yourself to that point however you got there.
Third thing, look in all the seating areas, places where you sit, couch cushions,
yeah, throw pillows, side tables.
And then lastly, change the lighting.
Because sometimes when you change how a room looks, it helps you search with fresh eyes.
Plus, this also helps because you might have left something like in the shadows.
So basically turn the lights on.
Yeah.
Why are you searching in the dark and in nighttime, turn the lights on so you can see?
Well, it's not just that.
I do get the mindset of, you know, resetting it.
Because if you have fresh eyes, like, I can be looking for something all over the place,
but you can walk in with fresh eyes and be like, it's right there.
Oh, you can use a black light.
And then maybe it's close in the dark.
Oh, then you're seeing lots of other stuff.
I don't want to do that.
All right.
I have the fastest way to chill a bottle of wine.
I thought this was interesting because I was having guests over and I had only a bottle of white
and it was in the cabinet and you're supposed to serve that cold.
And I'm like, ugh.
So I throw it in.
the freezer really quick. And then I saw this article. I was like, oh, people might need to know this.
The best overall way is to put it in an ice bucket with salt because the salt causes the ice
to melt at a lower temperature. So it gets colder a lot faster.
And you now are working out the other day. Science. And he goes, I love wine.
Like out of nowhere. While we're working out. That gets me through the workout, man.
Just for the recipe for that, you have to use a cup of table salt in the water and that will do the trick.
All right, ABC method.
This is going to help you prioritize your to do list.
Quickly, A, these are the things that you got to do.
They're most important.
They're critical.
They have deadlines.
B, maybe they have medium priority.
And then C is for things that are very low priority.
Don't stress yourself out.
They can wait.
So if you order things, A, B, C, then that'll set you up for more success and you won't get overwhelmed.
I like it.
I think it's whatever organization method works for you.
I keep a list on my phone that's always one click away and it's always.
always up. And so I got the four things I need to do today. Are they in order or just whatever?
If it's the one, the top of the ones I haven't, I've put off the longest because it climbs.
Oh, you do that. Yeah, so I'll just delete. When it's done, I delete it and everything moves up.
But I keep a list on my phone every single day. And I'm just used to going to it to make sure that I clear it.
Have you ever tried the block method or where you block out? Like let's say you take from noon to one, you don't, this is your task. You don't look at your computer. You don't
look at text, don't look at phone.
Like, in fact, some people block out even when they look at text messages.
Maybe from two to three, that's when they respond to every text and that's it.
That's weird.
What's cool?
I don't know.
Some people find it really effective because they can focus on.
No, that's just an example.
Another one might be like, I don't, some people check email all day long.
Some people are like, I check my email during my blocked time for emails.
Because email or texts is that, sometimes you got to respond quick.
Sure.
Eddie's like, help.
I'm locked in a cave.
How do I get out?
Sorry, block time.
I won't see it until 2 p.m.
Sorry, buddy.
I guess it was an emergency.
That's different.
I love that.
I do like that, though.
Is that it, Amy?
Yeah, Amy, that's my pile.
That was Amy's pile of stories.
It's time for the good news.
With Bobby.
Tell me something good.
We have Adam on the phone who has a personal tell me something good.
Adam, welcome to the show.
What do you want to say, man?
Hey, Bobby, morning studio.
Morning.
Hey, this is a tell me something good.
I really think Amy would like to hear.
After 17 years of not knowing where my class ring was,
Thanks to social media and a close friend, I got it back yesterday.
Wow.
Yes, this does give me help.
Amy's been looking for hers for 10 years?
2009 or 2010, so.
Dang.
But you had somebody to break into your house and you think that's what happened?
Yes.
I just can't.
They probably ponded those even then.
Yeah.
I mean, the reason why I can't say for certain is, like, Ben's Air Force Academy ring was
stolen too at the same exact time.
And he knows for a fact it was in the jewelry box.
because he was in Afghanistan and he didn't travel with it.
I just don't know for a fact if mine was in the box.
Do you think Amy's just going to get in a pocket of some old pants at some point?
Yes, there it is.
Yeah, I don't think so.
I think it was stolen too.
Yeah, that's the best.
It's just like my memory doesn't recall exactly.
And it's shown up at no pawn shops in North Carolina.
I know where else around anywhere.
But someone might have it.
Texas A&M, class of 2003, little tiny diamond.
It's gold.
And on the inside it has Amy E.
AEM, maybe.
I don't know if it's my initials or my full name.
Got it.
I didn't say Moffat.
It either says M or Moffat.
Got it.
And how did you get yours back at him?
Through social media, a good friend tagged me in a post where someone had found it.
Whenever he saw it, he said he thought it looked like mine.
The year was missing, but my initials were on there.
So I got in touch with the woman.
She asked me to identify it a little bit.
It's funny because she asked me what was all on the ring.
Well, that was 20 years ago.
I haven't seen that ring in a very long time.
I have no idea what that young kid would have decided to put on that ring.
So I just kind of guessed.
And sure enough, I guessed right.
My signature was on the inside of the engraving.
So I signed a piece of paper and sent it to her.
And lo and behold, man, after 17 years, she had my ring.
Your signature had to match even after 20 years to do, basically.
Wow.
That's pretty cool.
Thanks, man.
I appreciate you sharing that with us.
I hope everything is good with you.
Yes, sir, it is. Absolutely. I really appreciate y'all.
And, Amy, there's always a chance.
Like I said, it was 17 years ago for me, and I'm sitting here looking at it in my hand right now.
So just keep faith.
That's cool.
Keep on trucking. All right. Thanks, Adam.
Bye-bye.
All right, that's what it's all about.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
