Welcome to Tuesday's show.
Morning, studio.
Morning.
All right, this is the big weekend.
Lunchbox is having a garage sale at his house.
The money's attractive to you, but you're more embarrassed.
I'm more embarrassed.
Yeah, I like making money, but the whole fact of my image being tarnished saying,
oh, he has to have a garage sale to get money, it looks bad as a public figure.
But how do they know it's you?
Hello?
They walk up.
Oh, my gosh.
Hey, Lunchbox.
How you doing?
So you're going to work it for sure.
I mean, if I'm there.
I'm going to have to be selling stuff.
I'm going to have to be out there.
I mean, I would like to stay inside, but my wife can't run a garage sale on her own.
So you're going to be at the garage sale.
You're going to sell stuff.
But do you think people will recognize you?
Because we send you places and people don't recognize you.
Yes, they're going to recognize me.
Are you kidding me?
Good point.
Yes.
We're acting like everybody's going to walk up and be like, wow.
And we gave you the option of wearing a mask.
Yeah, you can wear a COVID mask.
Yeah.
My wife said that's a no-go.
Why?
But part of me thinks that you want the attention and you want to complain about.
about it. No, I don't want the attention because people think I am super rich and super famous. And if I'm
out there... Nobody thinks that. If I'm out there selling t-shirts for a dollar, they're going to be like,
man, this dude's hard up for some money. Well, Lunchbox was fired up the other day. The first time we
talked about this and he was worried it was going to tarnish his reputation. So your wife heard
the segment. Yes. And then what is this clip? She wanted to, she texted me immediately and she goes,
I want to defend the garage sale. Okay, here it is. Here's Lunchbox's wife defending their upcoming
your eyesail. First of all, we're not having financial problems, and this does not make us
look like we have financial problems. Really, honestly, the only thing that makes us look like
we're having financial problems is your horrible, old car that's broken down, basically. Does it still
run? Does it still run? Don't hate the car. It's barely hanging on, but that's out front.
Don't hate the player, hate the game. That looks terrible. But more importantly, I'm just going through
our stuff. I'm getting rid of junk. So it's just a fun thing to do. Yeah, but what about my image of a
baller and like a badass celebrity? Like, okay, celebrity is pretty extreme. You are not.
And this is just a neighborhood thing. I mean, people are going to come and shop and they're
going to have no idea who you are. So that's what we say. And also, are you worried they'll come and shop and go
like, oh, I thought it would be fancier. Yeah, they're going to think, oh, man, he's going to be.
doesn't have very much nice stuff. He has a bunch of junk. Like, oh, where's the expensive,
you know, China? Where's the Versace? Yeah, where's the, uh, Gucci? Yeah, there you go.
Or the coach or the, you know, Prada. Yeah. There you go. And so like, and they're going to be like,
oh, you just have Haynes. That's it. So if people are coming to your house and you're going to be
there, you want to sell everything. I'm assuming. If you're going to do it, you want to sell out. I want to sell out.
Like everything must go. Good. Here's lunch as address. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. We're
not doing that. So you're doing it this weekend. So you're doing it this weekend.
and we'll get an update Monday.
Let's do it Monday.
Lunchbox in the garage sale.
The documentary will be on Netflix next week, by the way.
You want to see it as well.
You guys can get at me on Instagram at Mr. Bobby Bones,
MR. Bobby Bones.
It's time of the morning now where we go over and open up the mailbag.
You send an email and we read it on the air.
It's something we call Bobby's Mailbag.
Yeah.
Hello, Bobby Bones.
I go to the same Starbucks.
Every morning and every morning I see this one woman who is completely awful to the baristas.
She barks orders.
Complains if things are taken too long.
The list goes on and on.
Well, today we'll call her Karen.
She was being particularly nasty to a young girl behind the counter who was just doing her job.
I finally had enough and I stepped in.
At first I tried doing it nicely, but this woman continued to be terrible, so I just went off on her.
The woman eventually left and the barista thanked me, but later,
or my daughter who I was with said I should just mind my own business rather than making a scene.
What do you think? Was I wrong to step in? What do you think you would have done? That is from Kimberly.
Yeah, it's interesting. Now, you've seen this happen over, looks like days, weeks, months, I'm not sure.
And you had finally hit your breaking point, Kimberly. So I think if you had asked me this, you said,
hey, somebody was having a bad day and they were mean to the barista, and I jumped in and said, get the heck out of here.
after one day I would have said, well, how mean?
And maybe one of the two had a bad day.
But if it's over and over, I have no problem with this.
If it's over and over, if you're witnessing someone consistently degrading someone else
or treating them lesser than, I have no problem with you stepping in to stop a bully,
especially if you've seen it over and over again.
So I'm glad you didn't hit her.
Yeah.
I'm glad I didn't resort to anything that would have got you in trouble.
I'm sure the barista appreciated it
And I think, you know,
I'm sure it's a whole different can of worms
When your kid sees you do it
But maybe the lesson is
Sometimes you have to stick up for people
That don't have either
If not the abilities
That don't have what the brests feels like
Is the right to say something back
Like sometimes you do step in for other people
Because you hope if somebody's coming at you
Somebody steps in for you
So I got no problem with it
And maybe she won't do it again
You also got to remember
That this will call her Karen
something's probably not going right in her life
to be treating somebody like this.
Now, you're not going to fix her.
You're not going to be a therapist.
But there is a little grace to be given
in the fact of something sucks for her
to be treating other people sucky.
Doesn't mean you got to give her a hug and kiss
and be like, keep doing that.
Right.
But you can have that in mind
and maybe not go the extra mile of humiliation
when you do stop this stuff.
So I'm for it.
You help somebody that needed the help.
I'm okay with it 100%.
So I'm glad you emailed me.
It's a good talk we had even though you're not here.
Kimberly, I'm just basically talking at you.
Amy, what are your thoughts here?
Yeah, I was picturing what I would actually do if I saw it over and over and over.
And similar to what you're saying about, she must be going through something.
Like I think at some point I wouldn't try to make a scene in the Starbucks,
but like when she's leaving or if I can meet her outside and be like, hey.
You've been on Tinder?
Oh.
Is everything okay?
Like just, you know, because I'm here often and I just see this.
interaction and just want to...
Hussein's probably a jerk.
See what's going on.
Like, I know you don't know me.
Probably not put in the toilet lid back down.
I'm sure it's something more than that.
Than the toilet?
Shaves in the sink.
One can hope.
Oh, gosh, I hate that.
But yeah, no, that's a real bummer.
Yeah, but hey, good for you.
If it is what you say it is, good for you.
We like it.
I like it.
I think you stood up for someone.
You didn't hurt anybody.
And maybe she'll stop.
Maybe she'll learn her lesson.
And if not, next time,
Bloody nose
No
Wow
Oh we go too far there
Oh okay
Never the solution
Yeah never the solution
All right thank you
Close it up
We got your email
And we read it on the air
Now it's about to close
Bobby's mail back
Yeah
Eddie how old are you
I'm 43
And you struggle with
Not wearing clothes
But wearing clothes that people think are cool
You want to still be cool
Yeah I think I'm stuck
Probably 20-15 years ago in fashion
Where I thought I looked
cool, but fashion's kind of moved on and I've stayed behind a little bit.
Did you ever look cool?
It's a real question.
Yeah.
You were cool.
I think I did.
I think I stayed kind of current.
So you went to Ray to ask for fashion advice?
Yeah.
See, what happened was I bought this hat and it was defected.
So that little strap in the back, you know, it's supposed to tuck in.
I mean, it's called a dad hat.
So I was, I was trying to tuck it in.
He goes, bro, what are you doing?
Like, leave that out.
That's what the kids are doing now.
I said, what do you mean?
They let the strap hang out.
And he sent me like five screenshots of like,
younger college-looking kids.
Do you want to look like a young college kid?
I just want to look like, I want my kids to look at me and be like, yeah, yeah, dad's like,
he's like one of us.
He's on it.
No, they never will.
Really?
That's not a thing.
And you don't, it's not a thing.
Really?
Yeah.
I mean, I remember dads when I was in high school, like, there were about four or five
dads were like, oh, that dad's not like my dad.
That dad's cool.
Probably a young dad, and it's also high school kids.
You've got three kids that are young, young, and a junior high kid.
Yeah, so you're going to keep this up for 10 more years when they get to high school.
I don't see, I don't think there's anything wrong with that.
I want to kind of stay current.
That's okay.
You can stay kind of current.
I don't know if I'd use word fashion.
What would you say?
You know, walking the runway in Milan.
Yeah, yeah.
So what else is Ray told you?
So Ray said also, dude, he's like, you wear these little short socks when you wear shorts.
Kids now, they're wearing longer socks.
So I'm like, okay, so I told my wife, I'm like, can you go to Target and get me these longer socks?
Like these?
Yeah.
Like go just like a little below your calf.
Yeah.
Long socks and.
Tissues.
I've been doing the little...
Why'd you not ask me?
Ray's going to have you looking like a bro-brough.
Yeah, I know.
I started to feel that because the next one was like,
dude, your shorts, too, they could be a lot shorter.
Oh, they have to be shorter shorts of the thing.
He said, I don't know if I can say that,
but he said the closer to the...
I don't wear him that short.
Did you see...
The thing is, he's not wrong.
Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
But I don't know that you need to chase this.
If you don't feel...
If it's so out of what you're used to wearing
and you show up looking like that,
we're going to think you had some sort of medical episode.
Yeah, you're right about that.
And I also thought, like, I'm going to have to spend some money, too,
to kind of just change the entire wardrobe.
Ray?
Yeah, just a couple other things.
I had said also no logo T's.
You can pretty much keep it plain.
You can also with your shoes because he's getting these newer shoes and he's double-tied them like he's a dad.
I said the kids, now they do it.
It's casual.
You almost just tuck in the laces.
Yeah, you don't wear.
Yeah, a lot of the shoes are built to tuck in.
What do you mean?
You don't actually tie-tie-tie?
No.
So some you do, like these you tie, right?
These are ten-a-tintet shoes.
Okay.
But that I have a bunch, too, that you take them and you just tuck them into the shoe.
Especially if it's like a half dress or a tennis shoe, you're not going to run in.
No, that feels loose and very sloppy.
I don't know.
Hey, that's Joe Biz, baby.
He doesn't want to trip.
Yeah.
Okay.
Ray's right, though.
Ray, what is your goal?
When people see you, you want him to think you look how old?
I don't care about my age, but I'm just hip.
I hang out with my nephew.
He's 14.
He knows all the stuff that's looking cool.
And then also, if Eddie does everything I told him, I even have other stuff he can do.
He needs to start to move towards the bucket hat because they're really.
popular again and then also maybe a gold chain not gaudy but something small that you can wear to the
pool i don't know if i can do that okay so i think it's interesting for you to try a couple of these things
thank you and just be you but still get i don't know about the shorter shorts i don't know about the
shorter shorts i have a real skinny legs and i know and i have bird legs and that's
well and i have skinny legs and have long legs and i think the short shorts will make my legs
really long got it hey if you feel good about it everybody else does too baby steps let me start
with the hat, I'll leave the thing out, and then I'll do the socks.
Then I'll do the longer socks.
Those are very baby steps. I like him. Baby steps.
Any advice for him, Amy? Fadden? I mean, I just think he needs to be confident and comfortable
in whatever he tries. I think he can try out this stuff, but if you're going to do it,
just own it, and then if you're not feeling it, then retire it. Have your own style. Maybe it's
all leather. Yeah. What? Think about that? All leather all time? No, I didn't think about that.
People would be like, dang, he's got his own style. But for what it's worth. I don't feel like
Eddie has bad style.
No, he's just a dad.
But sometimes he's a total hipster.
Yeah, he just acts like that.
He doesn't look like it.
Oh.
What do you mean?
What do you mean by that?
Okay, don't do your face out.
Thank you guys.
This has been fashion advice here on the Bobby Bone Show.
The latest from Nashville and Hollywood.
Morgan No. 2's 32nd Skinny.

They're expecting baby number two this October.

Jimmy Allen talked about his grandma's influence on his singing.
She influenced my singing, but she definitely wasn't the biggest singer in the family.
She kind of sounded like a hummingbird.
If you can mix a hummingbird in Aaron Neville, it's kind of like what my grandma
sound like.
I'm Morgan.
That's your skinny.
It's time for the good news.
With producer Eddie.
Yeah, home it's something good.
Guys, the Utah treasure hunt is back.
These two real estate investors, they did this two years ago.
During the pandemic, during lockdown, they wanted to do something fun for people to get out and still be safe.
So they hid treasure money all over Utah, like backwood country, Utah.
And then they would give out clues on social media to find it.
The first year, somebody found the $10,000 prize.
Oh, was that much money?
Oh, yeah.
That was like $50 in a plastic Easter egg.
No, no, real money.
And then last year, it was $20,000.
And it's back.
This year, they hit the money.
It's 20 grand again.
What do you do?
Is that a map?
Is it a...
No.
So you have to go to their social media accounts.
There's two accounts.
These two guys.
And we can post that.
But they put out little clues once a week.
They've already have one clue out right now.
So the treasure's out there.
One clue is already out.
And it's 20 grand that you can get.
I'd be worried that someone stumbled across it that didn't know it was part of a game.
And they just had it.
And then everybody's looking for it.
Yeah.
I would think they would put like a camera, right?
To like make sure.
Oh, I don't know.
Well, then I'd look for a camera.
That's true.
Okay, there it is.
We should do this.
This is fun.
Do what?
We should do something like that.
Look for it or?
Or give us 10,000 to go fine.
Yeah, what I'm saying?
Everybody always wants us to do stuff, but then I got to pay for it.
You said, we sacrifice a few dice rolls and take that money.
But even that's my money that I'm giving you guys on dice rolls.
I got to stop doing that.
No, no, no, no, no.
All right.
No, no, no.
All right.
No, dice rolls sometimes aren't giving away because you don't win them.
Okay.
That's a good story I like.
It's fun for people.
That's what it's all about right there.
That was tell me something good.
I'll get a text message and go,
hey, is this Mike's phone?
No.
At first, I was like, no, you got the wrong number.
But now they come in all different ways.
Hey, are you the guy that knows Chris?
So you get these random messages.
So I play along with them now.
But it always ends up with them sending me a picture
of like some Asian girls.
What?
Like four times in.
Yeah.
One guy, the most perfect one was like,
hey, do we schedule to play golf?
And it was from a generic number.
and I was like, I don't think so.
Who is this?
And they were like, no, I think we talked about it.
Let me send you a picture, see if you remember me.
And it was two, I don't know, 25-year-old Asian girls sitting at a table.
And I think they want the guy to be like, well, I didn't, but I will.
And then you start a relationship.
I don't know.
I don't know.
But I'm getting all these texts where they're like inviting me in.
It's got to be just a bunch of, I start questioning, is it those Asian girls?
But now do you think you're going to get more because you've interacted?
Yeah, good question.
Well, Caitlin said the same thing.
She goes, don't respond because you know when you respond, they're on a list of responders.
And then I was like, let me save this picture.
And I'll send it.
She goes, don't save the picture.
Then you've saved it into your phone.
How far do you go on these conversations?
Well, I go pretty far.
I used to.
And then I was told this should stop.
Pump the bricks.
Yeah, because I'd be like, they said, hey, is this mic?
And I was like, yeah, yeah, yeah.
And they're like, what's your surname to prove it?
And I'm like, okay, it's not American.
Nobody hears a surname.
We say last name.
And then boom.
So I've got like four new friends that I talk with a lot.
These four here.
Do you ever just set your phone aside for like an hour?
Yes.
Yeah, more and more.
Like, I would say this year, I do more of that now than ever.
So, and I'm going to keep doing it.
I also put my phone on Do Not Disturb, too.
I have a Do Not Disturb, and I don't have any sounds on my phone.
When somebody calls, it doesn't ring or vibrate.
Somebody texts, it doesn't ring or vibrate.
So all my notifications are off.
I like my phone.
I stay on it a decent amount.
But I can put it away pretty easily.
Watch a game.
I'll turn my computer on, though, so I can see text.
You need something.
I'll put the phone away. Yeah, I can still put the thing on there.
Well, we have some unfortunate news to address.
Morgan, I'm going to come over to you, and I'll just let you say what you want to say.
I didn't know she was going to get emotional.
Oh, no.
I'm trying really hard not to, but my boyfriend and I are no longer together.
Oh, man.
I didn't know.
You getting emotional.
Sorry about that.
I know you said we could mention it today.
You'd get it over with.
Yeah, I'm ready to move forward.
Well, so obviously we're not going to...
extract everything from it.
I guess the only question is it seemed like pretty recently you guys were talking about
moving in together.
That's a quick week and a half or so.
Yep.
I mean, I guess I was hopeful that things were going to be really great and it was going to
stay on that path.
But, you know, you can't dictate what happens in somebody's life and how they respond
to it.
So it's not something I wanted.
And I'm just trying to survive right now.
That's just one foot forward.
Amy, any advice for Morgan?
I want to get up and give her a hug.
I mean, that's, I, we're here for you, Morgan, and like, thank you for sharing that with us.
I obviously was, I was like, wait, what is happening?
I thought she was about to say, she was leaving the show or something.
No, no.
I was surprised too because it was like, hey, she said, my boyfriend, I broke up.
So that meant it's free to talk about.
And so I was like, hey, bad news.
Yeah, you would never intentionally like, be like, oh.
Tell me something.
bad coming out, 52 past the hour.
Heartbroken. I'm going to make her say this.
But I don't know. It's so cliche, but I have been so
heartbroken before Morgan, too.
But at time, like you said, one day at a time,
taking that next right step for you.
And we're here for you in this process.
I know that it's so hard and I'm so sorry.
Especially sharing as much as you do on the air.
That's another layer of it too is we try to share what's going on in our lives.
And I'm sure, and Morgan said she's like,
amazing. A week and a half ago I was saying
we might live together and now I'm saying
we're broken up like that sucks.
Did you
let's see, did you expect to get as emotional right now?
Because sometimes when I'm about talking about stuff
it'll just hit me like a ton of bricks and I'm like
yeah I'm good to go and I'm like
whoa! And you start to lose it.
Yeah, no. And I sat on
it for a bit to try to avoid
that but I can't
help it because I'm just really sad.
I'm angry. I'm feeling so many
emotion so I knew bringing it up was going to hurt, but I can't, you know, I can't keep having people
reach out and ask how we're doing. Oh, that's the worst, yeah. Or casually, that's what happens here.
So she needs to air it here because we might next up and be like, so when y'all moving in?
Totally. Well, every time I even was even asking her about, it's like, hey, you guys still together,
right? And then I just kind of gave up on that because I kept going, yeah. And so I was like,
okay, fine. So I'm glad that you told me because I for sure were just fired it.
Oh, yeah. What can we do to help you?
Bobby,
Bobby, tell a funny story.
Oh, here's a good one, right?
Do you want to laugh?
Okay, well, I will not poke in pride, but are you, is it over over?
I mean, I don't know.
I never want to say it's over over, but, you know, my, my heart wants that again,
and I would still hope for that.
But I think the universe has a way of doing what needs to be done,
even if you don't see it at the time.
So I'm just trying to have belief in that.
I don't have a lot of answers.
It was just like he needed space to heal from past trauma, and I couldn't fix that.
And I can't try.
I can't try to hold on to something that doesn't want to be held on to as much as I would want to.
Well, I'm very sorry to hear this.
I think in a month you will look back and go, wow, that was crazy when we were broken up.
Or, you know what, that probably needed to happen.
And now emotionally, I'm out of it enough to realize was probably the best thing.
for our independent situations.
But yeah, it sucks.
I ain't gonna like it, it just sucks.
Yeah.
It's pretty miserable.
That's it.
One hour to the next, one day to the next,
and eventually it's one week to the next.
It kind of, it starts to get a little easier.
But all right, well, that's it.
If you see me in my Taylor Swift's face,
just mind your business.
She's never to listen to all Taylor Swift's bass that song.
Lunchbox, anything?
Man, I'm sorry, I'm too.
I think maybe going public with the...
She didn't really go public.
No, no, no, with the moving in together.
He kind of got scared, I think.
And then also, can I say what I'm frustrated about?
Yeah.
No, I don't know.
I don't know.
This gets her as early lead for Employee of the Month for sharing this on the air.
Oh, that's true.
She set this up.
That's good.
No, what if this isn't real?
And this is Employee the Month?
Just so she gets it.
Yeah.
Oh, my gosh.
We get employee of the month for sharing super vulnerable personal stuff outside.
I get a divorce, bones.
Everybody starts, like, doing the craziest lifestyle.
I wish.
I wish this was fake, y'all.
Morgan.
We are very sorry.
You know, tougher things have happened to weaker people and they got through it just fine.
It sucks right now.
You're going to be great in the end regardless of what happens.
I promise you.
And we're here for you.
Yeah, we're here for you.
From the hours of 5 to 11 a.m.
I'm kidding.
I got one more question.
Did he get jealous that we dance on TikTok?
Is that what it was?
Oh, that could be it.
You don't have nothing to do with his restaurant.
I'm just making sure.
I just want to make a shirt because.
If my girl was hanging around a guy like you, really masculine.
Exactly.
Some of those dances were a little risque.
They were, yeah.
Just making sure.
All right, Morgan, we're sorry to hear that.

You know, something I should do more is just restart my computer or restart my phone.
My phone will stay on and I'll not restart it for a month sometimes.
Unless something's going wrong, I'm like, maybe I should just turn it off and I don't even know how to do it.
I would just push all the buttons on the side to just slam them all and hope something good happens.
But they say that you're supposed to at least once a week reset your phone and your computer.
Shut it off. Let it rest for a minute, and you can fire it back up.
Improves battery live, runs more smoothly.
And if it's just going all the time, even if it's just thinking all the time, I don't know.
I just imagine like my brain.
It just gets tired. But maybe it doesn't.
Yeah.
You tired, buddy?
No.
I see that, though.
I think that's what ruined my computer.
I never turned it off and I had about 20.
In its whole life.
She never let her out.
I know.
This is Tanya from Kansas on the voicemail.
Go ahead.
Hi, Bobby.
Morning studio.
Right now I'm in Alabama with my family.
and we just left the Garth Brooks concert
and it was the most amazing concert
we have ever been to.
Yay!
Yay!
You leave that Garth Brook show out of breath
like she is.
You're like,
exhausted.
Hey guys just call.
Appreciate that call.
Let's go to Dan in Eureka, Missouri
who has a morning corny.
Hey, what person
did he needed help with
from releasing his own gas?
Will you be my tutor?
It wasn't even funny.
How late was that?
It was a really,
Yeah.
What concert was that after?
The Bible show.
Here's Amy's pile of stories.
A study was done, and experts are sharing the exact amount of screen time that's perfect for teenagers.
And they say, the most well-adjusted kids spent one to two hours online per day.
That must be not at school or not doing homework.
It's got to be all that because most of my screen time honestly is spent when I'm on the show looking stuff up.
So I about say half of mine.
Because I don't know, I'll probably get like two to eight hours on my phone today, right?
So eight.
So eight.
So I would say at least three or four of that is here when I'm looking stuff up and checking emails for work.
So why don't we penalize?
It's all about me now.
I'm very defensive.
They say that.
That's way too little.
Two hours way too little.
Some parents want to actually try to really limit screen time and then that can backfire on them.
So keep that in mind.
And then the one to two hours is during the week.
And then on the weekends, you can give them an extra hour, three hours on Saturdays and Sunday.
But that's got to be without school.
and learning. Totally. Okay. That's just
for fun. And it's still way too little. I'm telling
you. Way too little. All right, what else? So
free birthing is something
that some people are doing and a mom
recently posted her birth on Instagram
where she gave... Free birthing?
Free birthing. You get her free to give it
birth wherever you want. And she decided
to do it in the Pacific Ocean.
She posted the video. Well, that's fine. I thought
you meant like a chick-fil-A. Like, I'm free to have a
baby right here.
No. Having the ocean. Long you have people there with you to make sure that's
okay? Well, no. She had her husband.
no other, he had a birthing kit with him, no other medical professional as she...
But think about 200 years ago.
Yeah.
We were doing all kinds of stuff.
We were just having babies out in the woods.
Like, what do you feed them?
There's no formula.
You can't go down to, so there's no formula shortage.
You just got to breastfeed.
Then what if you can't breastfeed?
You got to go and beg that local townwoman for some of her milk?
I mean, this is probably maybe even healthier.
I'm advocate.
I'm very pro more screen time, but very pro-1800's birth.
Yeah, she said that her first child was born in a hospital.
and it was like an okay experience.
And her second one she did it at home.
But for the third one, she wanted to be more free in the ocean.
I get it, I guess.
I get it that I don't get it.
And I'm okay with that.
I think that's what I get.
All right, what else?
Nicole Kidman was doing an interview with Vogue, Australia.
And it came up that she was at the dentist,
who happens to be the same dentist to Dolly Parton.
And she said, that's just how small Nashville is.
Like, you run into other famous people at appointments.
And one time I was at the dentist and out walked Jimmy Allen.
Same dentist?
Our dentist, yeah.
Oh, look at that.
I shared a dentist with Jimmy Allen.
Oh, that's cool.
Didn't even know.
Have you ever?
I guess certain appointments you probably shouldn't say?
Well, I can tell you, Luke Bryan and I went to the proctologist at the same time.
Together, we went together.
No, I don't have any sharing of doctors.
I don't want to know.
And I've never seen anybody, and I don't want a doctor to tell me because then I know they're telling other people about me.
Oh, for sure.
You can't trust it.
If you go into a doctor and they're like, oh, I was just working on.
Also, if I'm Dolly, I'm like, hey, Nicole Kittman.
Hush it.
That's a good story.
I made me.
That's my pile.
That was Amy's pile of stories.
It's time for the good news.
With lunchbox.
Back in 2017, David Jevittowsky was riding his bike through Manhattan.
Ha, gawk, get out of way.
When all of a sudden, boom, he gets hit by a car, lands on his head.
He's unconscious for a week.
He's in the hospital for a month.
And his dreams of being a doctor that I think, oh, man, he's not going to survive this.
He's not going to be a doctor.
Well, five years later, on May 18th, David walked across that stage, and he's now a doctor.
Wow.
That's awesome.
I felt that.
Me too.
That's not talking about.
He's hanging there.
No, no, no.
He's a real doctor.
He's going to start his residency and all that,
and he's going to be a freaking doctor.
You're both doctors.
Yeah, and I keep waiting for somebody to be like,
is there a doctor in here?
And I'll be like, uh, honorary or a real, real.
Wait, which one?
Because I can help in one way.
That's a great story, though.
Wait, does it say what kind of doctor he is?
Ah, it does not say he's graduated from the NYU School of Medicine.
Wow.
That's where Taylor spoke and got her doctor at NYU.
See, and if I'm David Jebittowsky here, I would be so upset.
How come you can't say the word ambulance, but you can rock out.
and Jebatskowski.
All right, that's a good story.
That's what it's all about right there.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
All right, let's go over to Amy and get in the morning corny.
The morning corny.
How does snails fight?
How do snails fight?
They slug it out.
That's pretty good.
That's pretty good.
That was the morning corny.
You caught me on a good morning.
Okay.
That one was good.
Thank you.
But for some reason, that one tickles me a little bit.
It is time to play the feud.
Let's go.
All right, here we go.
It's just like the family feud except, well, the only thing is I've changed family and Bobby.
Other than that, exactly the same.
All right, here we have our players, Amy, lunchbox, and Eddie.
Amy, you will go first.
The question is, 2,000 Americans were asked,
what's the best TV show theme song of all time?
So 10 answers on the board.
We rolled the dice.
You're first.
What's the best TV show theme song of all time?
Amy, what's your first answer?
Cheers?
Amy says, cheers.
Where everybody knows your name.
Survey says.
That is correct.
Making your way in the world today takes everything you've got.
What number?
Taking a break from all your...
We're just taking it in right now.
I mean,
I'm going to know how many points.
Three, you got three points.
Okay.
So if you get it wrong, you hear a buzz.
If you get it right, don't go into the song.
Okay.
All right?
We hate this song now.
We're like, no, more tears.
All right, Amy, what did you got?
There are nine answers left on the board.
Full House.
2,000 Americans were asked,
what's the best TV show theme song of all time?
You said full house.
Survey says...
Wow.
That's worth nine points.
Wow.
Take it, Amy.
Whatever happened to, predictability.
The milkman, the paper boy, the evening TV.
All right, there you go.
She's now got 12 points.
Here we go back at it.
Amy, there are eight more answers on the board.
Okay.
Fresh Prince of Bel Air.
Show me the Fresh Prince of Bell Air.
Wow.
Number one.
Turned upside down.
I'd like to take the man to just sit right there.
I'll tell you how became the prince of a town called Bel Air.
Seven answers left on the board, Amy.
What else you got?
I don't know.
She's out.
Now you're in trouble.
This is a tough one.
It's just, like, there are good ones, but I just don't know if they'll make the list, you know?
2,000 Americans were asked.
Best TV show theme song of all time.
Okay.
Let's just go because TGIF, family matters.
Show me, family matters.
Wow, I'm shocked.
Oh, that one's so good.
Lunchbox, over to you.
Golden Girls.
Oh, God.
Show me, golden girls.
Nailed it.
Thank you for being a friend.
I didn't even think of that.
Yeah, that's a good one.
That is, your number four answer.
Yeah, I just like being on the board, because now I'm struggling.
Now he has no more answers on his board.
The only one I have written down is a little BB, and it's called The Brady Bunch.
Oh, that's a good one, though.
That's good.
I don't think I would have thought of that.
That's all, I mean, I just know that when I think of it, I was like,
I can sing that one a little bit.
Yeah, that is good.
Give us a little bit, then, before we see him.
Go ahead.
There's a man, a family.
He had a, and he had a whole bunch of kids of his own.
And then he met Alice.
Alice?
She's the name.
Yeah, that's the housekeeper.
Yeah.
That's the version you go to the back of the store.
Into the beaded room.
Something like that, but I just know.
There's a man named Greg, and he had a whole bunch of kids of his own.
Greg was one of the...
Anyway, he says the Brady Bunch.
Show me the Brady Borge
No
Number seven answer
Good job
Wow
Wow
All of them had hair of gold
Like their mother
All right lunchbox
Your next one
I couldn't tell you another one
No shows at all
I can't even think of a song
From another show
So we'll just go
Now
Can it be like a real song?
I don't know.
I know. I know. I just hit me.
Go ahead.
Friends.
Oh.
Friends.
All right.
He says friends.
Show me friends.
Yeah.
All right.
That's worth eight points.
Lunchbox.
You're killing it right now.
Killing up.
What are you neck?
I'm just trying to think,
I'm all your shows.
You keep saying that and then you come up with a major line.
Well, that's what I'm saying.
And there are also 10,000 of shows.
Oh.
Oh.
Oh.
He's playing possum.
No.
Eddie, do I have anything written now?
You have nothing right.
Dawson's Creek!
Dawson's Creek.
What's that song?
I don't know, but it just popped in my head.
Dawson.
Oh, I don't want to wait for our lives to be over.
That's it.
I don't want to wait for all the...
Why is it cracking?
I don't know because I get excited that these are just popping in my head, but I don't even know.
Show us Dawson's Creek.
No.
Oh.
All right,
Lushbox takes the lead with 19 points.
Eddie.
Man, this third spot was tough
because you all took all of my list,
except I have some written down.
Okay.
Bones,
give me the Andy Griffith show.
Show them.
The best TV theme songs of all time.
Come on.
Show it.
The Andy Griffith show.
Oh, my God.
Back over to you, Amy.
An old school there, Eddie.
You can still win it.
Okay.
You don't be, smoky.
Well, I wake up in the morning and the lawn gets out of...
Oh, good.
Oh, that's so good, Amy.
I don't think I'm going to make it on time.
I just try to grab my books and give me some look.
Say by the bell.
Show her. Say it by the bell.
What?
Wow.
Lunchy.
They're watching.
Lunchy.
Uh-huh.
No.
Oh, that's not bad.
Nah, I don't think there's a song to that one.
To ur?
Yes, there is.
That's why you did it.
Don't...
But there's not any words.
That's just an instrumental.
Oh, I'm just...
You just did the...
I just didn't know if that's.
Come on, lunchy.
Does it have to have words?
Please call them.
There's just no...
It's just a TV show theme song.
Game of Thrones.
Show the boy.
Show the man.
Show the lunchy.
Game of Thrones.
No.
No idea.
Eddie.
Oh, man.
I'm not...
I'm just looking to get on the board.
Let's see, let's see.
Bones, give me that 70s show.
Show him that 70 show.
Oh, my gosh.
Last round, guys.
Now, again, we're looking for the best TV theme songs of all time.
I don't even know.
But, I mean, this show was so popular,
and I feel like it's obvious when you hear it.
Last round, you got to be a little faster here.
The Big Bang Theory.
Sure, the Big Bang Theory.
That's a good one. That's not right though. Wow, wow.
Lunchbox has his hands in the air.
Yeah. Go.
The Jeffersons.
That's good.
Yeah.
Moving on up.
You're too.
To the scoreboard.
You're going to pop.
Yeah, because that is good.
That is popping the scoreboard.
Show Lunchy, the Jeffersons.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Sing it, sing it.
Woo.
To the pop men.
That's how he screamed.
He got apartment and then screamed.
Okay, lunchbox, what's you got?
How was that?
There's only three left.
Hug me!
Number 10 ants are still on the board, though.
Oh, really?
Big point getter.
Then I'm going to get it right here.
Go.
Welcome back, Carter.
Show him, Mr. Katta.
Welcome back, Carter.
No.
All right.
Eddie.
You want to come back?
Yeah.
I got it.
Facts of life.
Show all the guy the facts of life.
Right here, there he is.
Boom, no.
One.
I got zero.
Four points.
Okay, okay.
And he's like, it's tough going third.
Didn't get any, any round at all.
At number two was the office.
Oh, course.
Hey, no words on this one, lunch?
I know.
At number five, Gilligan's Island.
Just sit right back in you hear a tale.
Tells the whole story of the show, like Fresh Prince.
The great ones do that.
The nanny, it's not on here.
But that tells the whole story of the show, the Fresh Prince, the Gilligan's Island.
Brady Bunch does that?
Yeah.
Yeah.
And then finally.
Finally at number 10, just play it, Ray.
But it don't matter.
Lunchbox is the winner with 25 points.
Hey, I believe he is.
I'm moving on up.
To the east side.
He's finally got a piece of love to fire.
Good job, lunchy.
All right, there you go.
Oh, yeah, I want your song to?
Oh, yeah, I want my song.
And they stay there!
Okay, yeah, baby.
That was a...
That was a passionate win.
That's a good one.
That's a fun one.
All right, nice job lunchbox.
Thank you.
Thank you.
I need to go drink of water or something.
Okay, the question is, is this over parenting?
Amy, tell us your scenario.
Well, my daughter had...
She was responsible for leaving something at another kid's house that lives really far away.
And then it's my responsibility to go get it.
And she can't drive.
She's 15.
So I thought, well, I will take you, but I will.
charge you gas money.
And I think that it's totally reasonable.
Maybe.
But why do you say maybe?
Like, why are you...
Because it also feels weird because I'm the parent
and to charge your child gas money
feels really weird.
But at the same time,
she needs to learn,
like, she just doesn't keep up
with her stuff very well.
This is a common problem that we have.
Did you have the conversation?
Don't leave anything at their house.
Yes, or don't.
Or sometimes it's not even that she leaves it there.
She just lets them take it.
And then I'm like, wait, what?
We can't just take stuff now.
We need it and we need it like by tomorrow.
So my only option, I can't have that
kids' parents drive it to me.
So it's our responsibility to go get it.
But I just feel like charging her gas
will help her, especially because gas is really expensive
these days. I think if you told her, hey,
don't leave stuff. And then she did.
Then this is the appropriate punishment.
So am I over parenting? I don't think so.
I'm okay with this one. I'm okay. Eddie?
Oh, Amy, I love that you did that.
You're showing her responsibility.
She's being responsible for her actions.
and she will always remember like, oh my gosh,
mom's going to make me pay for gas if I forget something again.
I'm not going to do this again.
I love it, Amy.
And she had to go with me.
She was expecting me to drive all the way to this kid's house.
Again, really far away.
By myself.
Oh, no way.
Because she didn't want to take...
15-year-old, that's crazy.
She didn't want to take the time to go.
And I'm like, oh, no, no, get in the car.
You're going with me.
And you're paying for it, the trip.
And so gas money total?
Because I mean miles.
I haven't done the mileage yet, but I don't.
I need to figure that out.
She'll pay for it.
I don't know.
I don't know.
How many miles do you got?
It's 30 minutes there, 30 minutes back.
Oh, that's more than two gallons.
Oof.
Yeah.
So you're looking at, I don't know,
sounds like $100 to me.
That's a little seat.
Hey, how's she going to know?
Now you're making money.
Listen, you're over parenting.
You don't need to charge her for gas.
You need to take whatever item it was,
she can't use it for a week.
But charging her for the gas is ridiculous,
taking money out of her pocket.
The item is what she really wants her money.
she doesn't really understand money so she doesn't get it.
Yeah, she gets money.
She hustles kids all the time for money.
It's the item.
That's what she likes the most.
And if she wants it, she has to earn it back.
Get this.
This particular item for this specific person that I'm talking about,
it was she left a tennis uniform from the school.
School's out.
The uniform is supposed to be turned back in.
I got an email from the school.
Hey, school's out.
If this doesn't, you know, arrive at the school,
she's going to get charged for the uniform and it's $80.
Plus gas.
Yeah.
Double-o and, yeah.
And by the way,
She didn't even ever play in a tennis match.
She was on the tennis team for like two days.
And then, so that's why I had to go out there and get it.
It's because we were going to get charged $80.
I don't think you're over-parenting.
Thumbs up for me.
The whole thing just kept getting worse and worse.
But now she's learned her lesson.
Yeah, you would think.
Is she going to play tennis next year?
We shall see.
Okay.

for the big stories.
Bobby's Big.
Stories.
This is pretty good.
I'll start with this.
Apple's latest major update
will allow users to edit
and unsend text messages.
Amazing.
Now, it's not all time,
meaning you can't send one
and then pull one back from yesterday,
but what it looks like is
you'll be able to edit
and unsend text messages
within a 15-minute window.
So, oh, I sent that
five minutes ago, there's a typo,
you can pull it back.
once the message is deleted,
users can recover them for up to 30 days.
So, not, I'm sure there are a little,
a couple things I don't understand there,
but I like the fact that I can change a typo
because I don't ever look at typos, I just send away.
But my favorite part about this, too,
is you can mark your text message unread on your end,
so that way you know to go back and revisit it.
You can do that now?
On text messages?
Where?
Can you not?
No, you can do that in email.
Let me take a look here.
Okay, this would be.
be my dream. Well, let's see. Let's see. Let's take a text message here from my buddy Mike signs.
All right. I can pin it. Okay. I don't want to pin them all. Can't pin them all. Can only pin
one. And no, you can pin multiples. I have Eddie, Mike D, and Caitlin pinned on my own.
Yeah. Well, I guess Amy, you cannot, uh, say, no, all right. What puts you in pinnable category?
I communicate with you a whole lot on text message. Oh. Yeah. So it's Caitlin and then Mike D.
And then Eddie.
And then everybody else is just riffraff.
Oh, nice.
Yeah. Whatever everybody.
Oh, all the rest of your riffraff.
I'm just kidding.
I just talk to them a whole lot.
To avoid feeling groggy,
only use your bedroom as a place to sleep.
This is from each night.
Researchers found that the exhaustion caused by watching TV
and playing on your phone's bad for you.
And don't be in your bed unless you have to be in your bed.
And don't be in your room unless you have to be in your room
because that should be associated with sleeping.
And so if you want to lay in your bed and go to sleep and wake up,
You'll feel garaggy if you've been in your bed more than you need to be in your bed.
It should be a sleeping tool.
I don't do that.
You live in your bed.
Well, I used to really, in my single days, I lived in my bed.
I'd never leave my bedroom.
Now, I'm forced to get out into the world a little more.
But occasionally I'd be like, let's just have dinner in bed.
Yeah, no.
And she says, she doesn't like it because she's very, very clean.
I thought I was clean until her.
She's very, very clean.
And I spill a lot.
And I know eating in bed is,
the recipe for some black beans being spilled on a white
comforter. So, here's some news.
Try to have one to two meaningful conversations
every single day. One to two meaningful
conversations every single day. These conversations
need to last over five minutes. That's the magic number to
expressing feelings and having a quality exchange. They say if you
have someone that you're close to, a spouse,
even a best friend that you live with,
these talks, health experts say are the single most important
thing to bring your daily happiness.
One to two meaningful conversations.
It could be at any point.
They don't have to be half an hour.
Five minutes.
Although if you talk to Amy, it will be half an hour, right?
Maybe too.
Amy likes to have a long one there.
Ted Lassow, the writer and star, confirms that season three is the last season, which we kind of knew that.
But now they've confirmed it.
So Brett Goldstein, one of the writers, but he also plays.
Oh, the beard?
Wait, you guys are yelling two different things.
The beard.
No.
No.
The player.
Oh, the player.
player. What's his name?
Anybody know his name?
Yeah.
Roy Kent.
Yeah.
That's right.
Wait.
Oh, man.
I'm thinking of Jamie Tart.
You're thinking of Jamie Tart.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Roy Kent, so he's also one of the head writers of the show.
Wow, I didn't know that.
He wrote himself.
I mean, that part was created and then he was like, I don't want to be weird about this,
but I should do that part as he was already writing it.
Didn't he audition for it?
He sent a video in.
It's like, you don't have to even respond back to me.
Don't even have me back.
You don't like it.
But I'm still writing.
I love it.
And then they were like, yeah, no, this is perfect.
He's so good.
He's like the best character on the show.
Totally.
So, season three's coming, and it will be the last.
And so I'm good with that.
I like now that we're cutting shows off and not letting them drag and have mediocre episodes.
I think that was the thing for a long time.
Just have a show, keep it on, make as much money as possible.
Now it's like, let's end it quality and move on to the next thing.
New York State wants to ban hidden fees from concert tickets.
Why don't we want to ban the...
Why is New York State the only one want to do this?
We should ban hidden fees.
Period. Why are we just doing concert tickets? Hidden fees, no good.
Fees you can see that are hidden, well, not good, but better.
Well, yeah, because, I mean, you see one price and you go to checkout and then your ticket ends up being way more expensive.
All like the holding fee, venue fee, popcorn fee, I don't know, popcorn, still got to pay it.
And all of a sudden, yeah, it's almost double.
So New York State's working to save you from spending way more on a concert ticket than you originally anticipated.
It's not that it's going to be no fees.
It's just they're going to tell you up front.
Right.
Yeah.
That surprises.
Yeah, that sucks.
When you're like, wow, I can go to, I'll pick an artist here.
This is not accurate.
Kenny Chesney for 49 bucks.
It's a great ticket.
All right.
Holder's fee.
Chesney Cowboy Hat fee.
$73.
Yeah.
So, yeah, that stinks.
That's from consequence.net.
I hope this is something that they pass, and then everybody else passes it, too.
Mariah Carey is sued for $20 million by Andy Stone,
who claims,
All I Want for Christmas is you is his.
Now, this is the Mariah Carey version of the classic Christmas song.
And here is Andy Stone,
who claims he wrote the original version.
Here we go.
Because all I want for Christmas.
You have the same words.
Is that a guy or...
That's a girl singing it, but he wrote it.
Okay, got it.
I make sure Andy wasn't a girl name.
And why is this just now becoming a law school?
Exactly.
It's been out for years.
You should have done this long time ago, buddy.
Yeah.
And why only 20 million?
Well, but it's not the same song.
Yeah, so you say if you're going to go hard, go hard.
Yeah, if you're going to go hard, if it's your song, I mean, go for it all.
I would say probably because they know it's not really the same,
and they can probably get a little settlement.
And if you go for 100 million, like you better feel like you really are owed 100 million.
It's just not the same.
Play this again.
I don't know.
I mean, is it just a lyric steal?
Yeah, same title.
Nothing else sounds like the song.
Despite their musical and lyrical differences,
the filing claims that defendants never sought or obtained permission to use the song's title.
You don't have to ask permission to use another song's title.
There's a lot of songs title.
Eddie and I have a great song called Stairway to Heaven coming out tomorrow.
That's right.
And it sounds nothing like the original.
Yeah, we literally built some wooden stairs.
We keep building them trying to get to heaven.
It's about a carpenter.
Yeah, it's a guy.
And all he wants to do is find the perfect nail to, but we could do that.
And we're not going to sue.
We're not going to get sued for that.
Yeah, that's, and we're obviously attorneys.
So, but that seems pretty dumb, pretty frivolous.
Johnny Depp indulged in an Indian feast to celebrate his trial win.
So if a rich person goes at dinner, what do you think?
What do you think a meal tab would be?
Rich person, Johnny Depp.
Yeah, I'm going to tell you it's rich.
He's rich.
Okay, $2,000.
That's very expensive for a dinner.
Johnny Depp indulge in a $62,000 Indian feast.
What?
$62,000.
What does that even include?
Why? How?
Because he can.
He's worth $150 million.
Yeah.
It says him and some friends, indulged in a feast of authentic Indian cuisine, cocktails,
rosé champagne at the Veronasi restaurant.
I don't know.
It just seems a little ridiculous.
$62,000.
I don't think he'd spend that at a meal anywhere here in town with 20 of you.
No.
That would be awesome, though.
And then he probably just sent the bill to Amber Heard said, hey, she's paying.
That's from the New York Post.
another thing, our IHartRadio
Music Festival has been announced, right, Scuba? I can say it.
Yeah.
I'll tell you what, I'll do big songs
and you'd make sure I can announce it.
Yes, yeah.
Okay. Here are the top
three songs in country music this week.
Number three, Parma Lee, take my name.
So take my hand, let me make you my...
Number two, Keith Urban, Wild Hearts.
That song, I think, peaked it too.
Really?
A really good song.
Yeah.
I'm pretty sure.
Number one, Jason Aldine, Trouble with a Heartbreak.
Again.
I think it's multi-week number one.
So, yeah, there you go.
Number one pop song, Harry Styles, as it was.
You know, it's not the same as you were.
Number one alternative song, Bob Moses.
Love Brand New.
I can announce it.
Yeah, you're good.
It was eight Eastern, so I want to make sure.
So you're cool.
Okay, cool.
So quick little deal here.
September 23rd and 22.
24th at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
The lineup is Luke Combs.
Wow.
I love a good delay when I start it, and it comes in halfway.
That's good.
It scares me, though.
Luke Combs, Marin Morris, and Morgan Wallen,
all representing our world.
Avril Levine, Black-Eyed Peas, Halsey,
Lionel Richie, L.L. Cool J.,
Megan the Stalia, Nikki Minaj, Minage,
Pat Benatar, and Neil Giraldo,
Sam Smith, the Black Keys.
That's pretty good.
What a lineup.
Speaking of the Black Keys, on Friday,
when Hank Williams Jr. is here,
One of the Black Keys, the lead singer Dan Arbach, is here with him.
Listen, we already recorded it. It was yesterday, and it's awesome.
But he was in yesterday.
And, you know, he just kind of sat back and played guitar and he frames the record.
But he's literally the lead singer with the Black Keys.
That's pretty freaking cool.
Tickets go on sale for this Friday, June 17th at 2 p.m.
So it's not this Friday, but next Friday.

Capital 1. Cardholders get first access to tickets before the general public.
June 15th at 1 p.m. Eastern 10.8 Pacific for 48 hours only or Y.

I'll give you an update on my dentist thing.
I'm talking a little funny today.
I told you I texted my dentist out of nowhere.
It was like, hey man, I need some help.
I think some bad's happening here.
And some of the listeners are like, that was uncalled for.
You shouldn't text your dentist on a Sunday.
So I'll give you an update because I went in yesterday
and the news wasn't good.
Really?
Is something weird growing in your mouth?
This whole mouth?
What?
Also, did you?
Prostatic mouth right now.
Okay.
And then did you ask him, hey, is it cool?
I texted you on you on.
Sunday. Didn't feel like having that
conversation in case he said no.
So we'll come back.
I'll update you on that in just a minute.
We'll grab some calls as well.
And Morgan
has all the tea from the softball game last night, the celebrity
softball game. Yes. Yeah. So we'll do
that too. I hear there's a little drama last night.
I'm a big fan of air tags if you have an iPhone
because what I can do is I can track my dogs who love to run out of the gate.
And if they leave, I can be like, all right, find
Air Tag 1, Eller.
it'll tell me exactly where she is.
I've got one on each dog.
I've got one of my wallet here.
So when I can't find this sucker,
I just go, wears my wallet,
walks me right to it.
It'll walk me within one foot of it.
You hit it, it gives you an arrow,
points it right to it.
Pretty cool.
However, they can also be used
for not good purposes.
So Galen Morris,
who's been arrested and charged
with murder of her boyfriend,
Andrew Smith,
they say that she used air tags
and a GPS to fall into a local bar
Once there, she confronted a girl
Who she believed that he was cheating on her with
Swung a wine bottle at her
After being told to take it outside
Clipped him with the car
After that
And then backed over him
But like tracked him from the air tag
What they do though when you move them
You'll hear them
Morgan, do you have a situation with air tags
Yeah, so I carry around air tags on my keys
And whenever I'm with my friends
They'll get a pop up on their phone and be like
You're being followed by an air tag
And the first time it happened
they didn't know that I had just put that on my keys.
So they're like, guys, guys, somebody's following us.
And I was like, MIA for like 20 minutes.
Everybody's looking behind them.
They're looking for some person.
And finally I showed up.
I was like, oh, guys, it's mine.
I'm really sorry.
But for 20 minutes, they thought someone was following them
because it alerted them on their phone
that an air tag had been following their locations.
So they are great, but also know that they are doing a lot of these things, too,
to make sure that if one is following you, it tries to notify.
tries to notify you.
He goes,
and then tells you on your phone.
I love them,
but that story sucks, huh?
Yeah, that's beautiful.
That's from Yahoo News.
On Friday's show,
Hank Williams Jr. is going to be in
with Dan Arrobach from the Black Keys,
and we had them in yesterday after the show,
and we taped it.
It'll be airing on Friday.
Hank Jr. didn't want to come up early, early,
and you know what?
We didn't need them to.
It's awesome.
That's great.
But Abby kind of handled Hank Jr.,
because we're all in the room,
doing the interview. And so, Abby, you have a list of the most interesting things that happened
with Hank Williams Jr.? I do. What did you think about him? He, wow. I mean, he's been in this
business a long time and he knows what he wants. He does know what he wants for sure. All right, how many
do you have here? Well, I have five. Okay, number five. Okay, so, or actually, I have six. Sorry
about that. Number six. So he was like, do you have any hot tea? You know, like, I, or hot tea. And I'm
like, we don't have like any supplies here or honey or anything.
We don't have hot water. Yeah, we, or bathroom than have hot water, yeah.
Yeah, and you saw me trying to scramble and get it.
But then I handed it to him and I was scared I was going to burn him.
So I was like, be careful. This might be hot.
And he's like, well, I hope it's hotter. It's not going to do anything.
Like, I was like, okay, sorry, I just really don't want to like burn you.
Number five.
Okay.
When he walked in, he's like, what are you like 95 pounds?
I bet I could pick you up and throw you in the pool.
And I was like, where did that even come from?
The pool.
Yeah, one pool.
All right, all right.
I don't know what that was.
Number four.
And then, like, during the interview, I don't want to give that away.
Oh, I don't care.
How he walks.
Yeah, he keeps wanting to leave to go smoke his cigar.
Yeah, and he really did.
Like, he really did leave to go finish his cigar.
We're doing the interview and he's like, all right, am I good?
I was like, no.
He's like, I'm going to smoke my cigar.
I'm like, no, we're not done.
He's like, all right, what do you want to know?
But he kept going, are we done?
And I was like, no, we're not.
I didn't realize it was all because the cigar was burning outside.
Yeah.
And then finally, I was like, okay, go.
He's all right, good, good, good, good.
You'll hear that on Friday.
Yes, so that was true.
Mm-hmm.
Yeah, number two.
And then I was, like, in the garage, like, moving cones for people to park and everything,
and he's like, you need a raise.
And I'm like, okay.
Who do I tell?
He says you need a raise.
Why'd that make the list?
Hello.
Yeah.
Okay.
And then you have two left or one?
Well, he also said he wanted to hire me as his assistant.
So we're on good terms.
All right.
Anyway.
But the last thing, when he first walked in, he's like, can I smoke my cigar in here in the green room?
What did you say?
I mean, I was like, no, we better go outside for that.
Like, you're serious.
That's how you all ended up outside.
Stay strong.
Nice job.
There she is Abby, everybody.
You're going to like it.
It's a lot of fun on Friday.
Hank Jr.
Who is that?
He's got a lot of energy.
To get out.
I didn't realize Abby had been working with him so much early on.
And he made his way into the studio and I walked in and he yells at me.
He goes, Gabby.
And I turn around and I'm like, I'm Amy.
And he goes, oh, I thought you were Gabby.
And he started like, you know, like itching his throat.
But he was, he thought I was Abby and he was wondering where his tea was.
And that was his way.
He was calling me Gabby.
And then he just pointed to his throat.
What I want to do?
Guys, when I point in my throat, bring me something.
I don't care what it is.
And then one of the guys that works as him came in and he said, don't be offended.
He thinks all white girls look the same.
Well, on Friday's show, Hank Jr. is going to be in.
He also tells me to call him a different name other than Hank Jr.
But then we get back to Hank Jr.
And we do talk about when he almost died and fell off the mountain.
Yeah, so good.
And we go into it.
So, all right, that's happening on Friday.
Abby, thank you for that.
Big celebrity softball game last night for charity.
Morgan, you went out and you played.
How did you play?
Yeah, I played really good.
I got, I hit four times.
Two of them were pop flies.
They were in the outfield, which is pretty cool.
And then the other two I got on base and I scored.
Did you guys win?
How did it work?
We did not win.
Who was the best ball player last night in the celebrities?
I mean, Hardy got MVP and he definitely deserved it.
I think he had like four home runs, like infield home runs.
Oh, he's a ball player.
Really?
Dude, he mashed the ball.
Really?
Mashed it.
Was hitting it over the outfieler's heads.
They would back up, he'd still hit it over their head.
I was like, wow.
Did you get to play?
I mean.
Because I made sure you got to play some.
I mean, really, they didn't have me on anything.
I was the, oh, my goodness.
Here's the thing.
Before the game, they announced everybody.
I was the only person that didn't get announced.
I was just sitting there and Jimmy Allen's like
Ludge, why aren't you being announced? Come up here
and so I just got to walk out. Why didn't they announce you?
No idea. So then Morgan
had to erase a name on the board and write my name
in the lineup. That's just
embarrassing. Golly.
Did you play it all?
So I hit, I'm going to, I bet.
I hit three times. That was it. How'd you do?
Two for three.
Look, you showed them. Pretty good, man. You guys win?
No, we got crushed.
Hardy and Ernest and Chris Lane. I mean...
Well, they put all the college baseball players.
on one team. Tim Penny, all of them.
I mean, just mash.
Anybody almost get into a fight? Because when I play, there's always
somebody going at it. Well, there was a fake
fight between Jimmy Allen and Ernest, but
I'm telling you, Ernest was not pulling his punches.
It felt real. Like,
it looked like it was supposed to be fake, but I was like, I think
he kind of means that. I don't want to fight Jimmy Allen
for easy. No. Yeah, he's ripped, man.
Jimmy pop your head off.
Well, I'm sorry you didn't get to play lunch.
That's okay. I'm sorry you didn't get... Why do you think
they kept you out of the announcement? I have no
idea. Like, I'm offended for you.
Okay, yeah, I was just confused.
Ray, I love you.
Okay, this is nothing against Ray.
Did Ray get announced?
Oh, yeah, Ray got announced.
On the line, on the actual, because a lot of people were posting the lineup on social media,
like a lot of people, like, I was seeing it everywhere.
And Ray Mundo is front and center with all the artists on the lineup.
And to me, lunchbox is more, has more of a presence than Ray in a way.
so you would think if Ray made the lineup,
lunchbox would.
On that graphic.
Like, lunchbox isn't even on the graphic.
What do you want to do, guys?
Love you, Ray.
Tell me what you want to do.
I mean, the game's over.
Like, it's over.
There's nothing you can do.
And then so then they want,
so what my role was
to interview players in between innings.
And how exciting is it to go to a minute?
Hey, man, you having fun?
But I saw you on the JumboTron.
Yeah, that's pretty good.
Right, but they're like,
you're supposed to hype the crowd.
I'm like, guys, if we do this every half inning,
it's not exciting.
And so I was like, why don't we go out in the field
and interview them while they're playing?
That's fun.
But we didn't do that.
Well, I'm sorry that happened.
That's disappointing.
It's all right.
It's fine.
It's all about raising money for folds of honor
and the fans were great.
Yeah.
It was very awkward.
You can be all about it and still not suck for you.
That sucks.
Well, let me just see who.
But I will say, let me just see who I'll talk to after the show.
I will say thank you to Morgan for writing me on the lineup
because I was like, no, Morgan, like, whatever.
They don't want me to play.
I won't play.
But she wrote me on.
and do you think it was somebody holding it against you?
I don't know because then Morgan had to,
we had to go to the people specifically to make sure they knew that I was going to hit
because the person up in the booth was not going to have me hitting
so they were going to announce someone else.
And if I went to the plate, it was going to be like,
oh, what is this guy doing here?
Morgan, why do you think they did that to lunchbox?
I don't know.
I think they just really wanted him to do the interviews,
but it just didn't make sense to me
because he easily could have played and done the interviews.
Like he very well did both the whole time,
and that should have happened in the first place.
Ray, how'd you play, buddy?
Two for three. My hits were very cheap. I wish I crushed it better. But you had those artists, they had all day. They were taking batting practice at four. So they were all warmed up and good to go once again. Us that had nine to five jobs. Sorry, we showed up 30 minutes. You don't have a nine to five jobs. Yeah, you get out at 11. I showed up early for batting practice.
Morgan was there and I were early to hit. Good for you guys. I'm glad you raised money. There are a lot of people there. Yes, Morgan. I will say like there's two things. One, Ray Mundo kept coming over to our dugout because he kept saying he didn't have any friends on his team.
So he was like the white hanging out with all the green team.
I'm like, what are you doing over here, right?
Go make friends.
Who was on your team that you didn't like?
Well, they just didn't talk to me.
They were all boys.
Ernest, Hardy, Chris Lane, Tin Penny.
They're like the boys group.
They wouldn't talk to you?
No, not really.
And I'm married so I couldn't talk to the girls.
Wait, also, why did you get in trouble for having your phone in the outfield?
That was Kane Brown.
He's like some guy over there.
He got his phone out and he's playing on it the whole game.
I was trying to go live with Instagram while I was fielding.
Yeah, I was about to interview Kane Brown in between.
And he's like, dude, you haven't fun yet?
He goes, yeah, I just want them to hit me the ball.
He's like, well, why don't you play short or third?
I said, you're out in the outfit.
And he goes, I'd play left field, but there's some idiot out there just on his phone the whole time.
That's a ray.
And he didn't realize just Ray.
He had no idea.
All right, well, we can't do anything without out there being a little drama.
Morgan, one more thing.
There is one more thing.
Lunchbox did get a better end of the deal at the end of the night because he did take something that was not his.
Of all the freebies that we got.
Oh, you stole something?
Of course.
This is why he probably.
This is why.
Okay, we're always like, why don't they let them play?
We have short-term memory.
Okay, what did you take?
I didn't take anything.
We got freebies.
And so the girls got like teal backpacks and a bunch of stuff.
And then the guys got like a black cooler and a bunch of other things.
Well, Lunchbox made sure to get himself a black cooler and a teal backpack.
Oh, you got one with a girl and guy.
Yeah, I got one from my wife.
You know, I figured I could give her a thank you for staying at home and watching the kids.
And, you know, it was just sitting there.
No one took it.
So why not take it?
Well, thank you for the updates, guys.
Ray, I'm sorry that.
Hardy, Ernest,
Tin Penny.
Chris Lane.
Chris Lane were not nice to you,
and they made you feel like a loser.
And you had to sit at the other cafeteria table
while the cool kids sit over there
and ate the square pizza.
That stinks.
And if any of them want to call and apologize,
will you accept it?
Yeah.
Okay.
Yeah, and Kane Brown took a picture with me
and even responded to my Instagram,
so I think we're good now.
I was like, dude, you badmouthed me
about playing on my phone.
He goes, actually, it wasn't just me.
It was Tim Penny and Chris Lane, too.
They already hate you anyway.
That makes sense.
Are we boycotting all four of them?
You let me know.
No, I mean, we won.
What?
I'm not doing that.
Steve's mad.
Hey, we can boycott everybody, every artist, right, that's ever mean to you.
You let me know.
I'll boycott them all in your honor.
Who is it that we had to boycott for a little bit?
No.
No, no.
Michael Ray.
Yeah, because the bus, Ray.
He left Ray, wouldn't let him on his tour bus.
Yeah.
Tour bus party was promised never happened.
Was Michael Ray there last?
Yeah, he was on my team.
Did you talk to him, Ray?
Well, he's on the opposite team, but yeah, he wasn't really social to other people.
I guess he was just churning the dutch.
It's like everybody's not social.
Do you think it's just you that's not social?
No, I am.
I was trying to give people daps and stuff like that
just get some small talk going, but it was tough.
Some of these people are a little standoffish.
No, I think a lot of them took it very serious.
And with Ray being out on his phone and filming everything,
they were like, who is this idiot?
Like, we're trying to win the game.
They compete for a scholarship or what?
Yeah, why so serious?
I mean, I'll play serious.
Okay, well, thank you guys.
Obviously, we can't do anything about out there being a little drama,
and that's how we do it on this show.

Okay, what do you think the outcome is here?
There's a guy in Canada.
He filmed himself being followed by a black bear.
He thinks he's free when the bear goes up a tree.
he's like, oh, but then it comes back down
and he gets even closer to him.
Now, I know you think bear, big, bear, slow.
No, bear fast.
Yeah, real fast.
And bear in woods, I don't know what I'm talking like this,
but in the bear in the woods, that's like his home.
He can move around, he's agile.
That's like his home field.
So the bear starts coming at him
and he uses that stuff that's called bear spray.
I've been trained on it, being up in the mountains of Montana,
and they're like, if a bear comes, you take this can.
it looks like raid
and you just
spread it
and I'm like no bear
is gonna stop
I shoot him right in the eyes
or like no
you shoot it at the ground
and then you
run
at the ground
yeah that's what I was tied
okay
so but here you go
what do you think happens next
Amy I want to play you a clip
do we play the clip before it happens
Mike or is there two clips
okay don't play it yet
okay
what do I think happens
so the bear starts attacking him
it goes up a tree
comes back down
and starts running at him
and he has bear spray
Yes. And he sprays it.
A, the bear is unfazed after he sprays it.
Okay.
B, the bear gets angry and then tries to attack the man.
C, the bear spray works.
Or D, the man sprays himself instead and the bear runs away.
Oh, no.
There's no E, they start cuddling.
Mm-mm.
Maybe he sprays himself.
Okay.
Eddie?
B, worst-case scenario.
I mean, the bear is angry.
Goes in attack mode.
Watch box?
Unfazed.
The bear is unfazed.
by the bear spray. Okay, here is the clip and here's the guy spraying. Hey, bear, it's okay. Hey, bear.
Whoa, bear. Get out of here. I'm leaving. Yeah, get up there. Get up there. Hey.
There you go. Good bear. Bear tepiced out. Really?
Bears like, I'm out of here. What's in that spray? What in the world? It's obviously something
that deters bears. Well, yeah. Is it the sound of the spray that scares them? No.
If that's the case, then...
I think it's, what we were taught was spray the ground.
It comes up and it gets in their face and their eyes and it stops them.
And they can't see you.
They become disoriented.
That's incredible.
But I wouldn't have had the composure to do that.
I would have tried to spray the bear, but instead of a shot me in the face, and then I would have went down.
And then the bear would have had a nice lunch.
And you hear him when the bear went up in the tree?
He's just like, yeah, go up there.
I would have been like, okay, quietly.
This is my chance.
Tiptoeing out.
He like taunted him.
Yeah, get up high on that tree.
That's why the bear came back down.
Oh, really?
Oh, really?
I went to the dentist yesterday.
We had a segment yesterday where I said,
Hey, is it okay that I texted my dentist on a Sunday?
I was like, hey, dude, is this okay?
And a lot of listeners told me, no, that was not okay.
I kind of got hit pretty hard by people online.
What I failed to mention was he's been a guest on our show before.
I guess we know him a little more than just being a random dentist.
But a text sent me was like, hey, call the office to come in tomorrow.
It went in.
So up in the upper right part of my gums on the outside, right?
So like into the cheek, touches the cheek.
I have a bone that's basically broken, and it's starting to cut its way out of the gums.
So it's broken, boom, and that broken part is sharp, and it's starting to come out of the gums.
How did it break?
I do not know.
He said, have you been really stressed lately?
I said, I think I live really stressed and don't know the difference.
And he's like, all right, well, you have a, so I have to go to a full surgeon.
Wow.
You got a mouth surgery?
What?
So from grinding it?
I don't know if it's from grinding it or, yeah, I've been doing some.
street fighting lately.
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah.
We don't talk about that.
That's crazy.
But I have a bone that's broken in my up there, and when it broke, you know, it's sharp
because it's cutting its way out.
Every day it gets a little closer to the edge.
And I can touch it on my tongue and it hurts real bad, but I can't do it this week.
That's awful.
Can't have surgery this week because I got to go to Oklahoma City, the softball championships.
Right, priorities.
Can't go next week because I've got two comedy shows.
So what if it starts to get worse and worse and worse?
and then you can't even talk.
That's your showbiz, baby.
What's your fun?
Well, I don't know.
Hopefully I'm going to get into surgery,
not this week or next week, but the week after that
and come back a brand new man.
But if for some reason you hear me like,
oh, there's new stories.
It's because my mouth's hurting.
We know what.
Putting like ambassol on it to numb it.
So it doesn't hurt as bad,
but I got a bone coming out.
Wow.
But like I said to Morgan earlier
when she was talking about her breakup,
weaker people have been through worse things than this.
And I will get through it too.
Sure.
Yeah.
Beaker people have been through tougher.
I don't know.
But I just say you're hardcore.
Yeah, thank you.
I don't know.
I couldn't get your analogy, but you're hardcore.
Wimper people have gone through more difficult circumstances and come out the other side.
So I should be able to do it.
Okay.
Yeah.
I got you.
You had to use simpler words?
No, it's just different.
You know, Rosetta Stone lunchbox.
I thought you were just like, I was like maybe less words.
Like less.
Wimpy people.
Wissy boy.
Hard.
stuff.
You get that?
Survived.
Ouch.
I don't know.
Wimpy boy goes through hard stuff and still survives.
Ray, you want to play a song or no?
No?
No.
Hey, I don't like it much anyway.
I agree.
It has been denied.
Okay, cool.
All right.
877, Bobby, that's the number.
Let me grab this call real quick from Brett in Florida, who is on the show and calling in.
Hey, Brett, what's going on?
What's up, Bobby?
How you doing?
Pretty good, buddy.
Hey, so I heard you're going to be on Kentucky Sports Radio tomorrow.
You excited?
Thursday, I'm hosting that, so not tomorrow.
Thursday.
Yeah.
It said tomorrow on the website.
I was like, oh, cool.
Oh, no, if it's tomorrow, I'm in trouble.
I have double-looked.
Uh-oh.
I think it's Thursday.
I'm pretty sure it's Thursday.
Okay, I thought I saw this morning it was tomorrow.
I could be wrong.
I don't know what today you do.
But I am, yeah, I'm excited.
I've been done a whole sports show and some years,
so I'm going to go and host that for Matt Jones on Kentucky Sports Radio on Thursday.
But I appreciate that, Brett.
You're going to listen in.
I'm a Arkansas fan, though, being on Kentucky.
Oh, yeah, I'm a try soon.
Okay, well, cool.
We'll see what happens.
Hopefully I don't get jumped.
Have a good day, Brett.
See you do, Bobby.
All right, see you, buddy.
All right, back in a second.
Bobby Bone Show.
Story of the day.
This story comes us from Evansville, Indiana.
A 30-year-old man was driving his SUV on the highway
when all of a sudden, boom!
He hits the median and do-do-do-do-d-do gets a flat tire.
Car starts smoking.
He's like, well, can't stop now, keeps on driving,
takes the next exit, pulls into a dealership,
and tries to sell him his SUV.
Oh, tries to sell them the busted up one.
Yeah.
Yeah, and they said he fell over twice in the lobby.
Police were called and he was under the influence.
Yeah, something was up.
I get it, though.
I'm like, oh, man, this was broken.
How much can I get right now just to wash my hands of it?
Driving in the last three days, obviously there was the weekend too, but I saw there's this big, like, camper.
Did you see it?
Yes.
It's been there for days.
Yeah.
I don't know how you just drive up and tow that thing.
It is a full, it's not like a camper shell like we used to have.
It's a full pull behind camper trailer.
Oh.
And it's a nice new one.
And it's just been chilling there for a couple days.
Today, I feel like it looked like it maybe got broken into.
Like somebody pulled over, busted in.
What are you going to take from there, though?
The oven?
You know, yeah.
Yeah, I mean, a table that works as a bed, you know?
All right, lunchbox, that's it.
I'm lunchbox.
That's your bonehead story of the day.
So you have friends that are doing wedding invites through email?
Yes.
I've been invited to two weddings.
weddings this year via email. Let's make that more accepted, acceptable. Yeah, I feel like we're
getting there and it's going to be such a game changer. Not only you're saving paper, but you're
saving so much money because invitations are crazy expensive. Yeah, dumbly. Yeah. And then where they get you
is, they're like, well, you know, these here are the dove. This is the dove silky and really the
weddings that last the longest get these. And you're like, wait, what? Now I got to get those if I want to
so it's a dun. I just wish I'd go aiming to having a wedding. You should come. Oh, well, yeah.
I do it.
Or video.
Like I do it's personal cameo to my friends.
Yeah.
Without charging them.
Right.
But then you have to track the RSVPs.
But that's great.
You say no, text me back.
But then, okay.
And then you have to make sure you make note of every text message you receive.
I just think the digital way also makes it easy to track RCPs because we, as the receiver,
we don't have to fill a card out, put it back in our mailbox,
mail it off to you.
We just, blip, click a button.
I never even cared or understood the value of an RSDP until I expected them back.
Meaning I would get them all the time, never fill them out.
I hate me.
I hate that version of me.
And I'm never going to be that version again.
It's not you anymore, man.
It is not me anymore.
I would be like, RSP, who cares?
We'll be there.
That's so rude to me and I hate me for that.
And the one that my friend used this week online, the one I got, it had a questionnaire when I
RSV'd asking me what drink I would prefer, like so that way they know what to stock up on, I guess.
Ask me what song I'd love to hear on the dance floor?
I mean, and I said fanny pack from the reading idiots?
I mean, I don't know.
Yeah.
I can go back.
Oh.
That'd have been awesome.
Anyway, I just thought it was like a cool way.
And if you're getting married this summer or this fall, if you haven't already bought invitations, go digital.
Yeah, I agree.
And some people may go, oh, that's not classy.
No, it was so cute.
Oh, we ain't classy.
And we don't want to spend the money on invitations.
I said that.
I just spent all the money on invitations.
It was so dumb.
And I got married back in 2006 when I don't know that many people were doing digital.
But I went to Kinkos and printed my own invitations.
You can do it on a budget.
I would like to say it wasn't dumb.
It's just dumb what they charge for them.
Yes.
And it's just a racket.
It's unexpected.
Like, and that's for your wedding day.
And so you're like, well, I like the Valentine cards from back in the day.
Go to Walgreens, get a box of Valentine cards, write somebody's name on it.
There it is.
Hand it to them.
We've been my Valentine.
We've been my wedding attendant.
Easy.
Easy.
Just like that.
All right, we're done.
That's it.
I hope you guys have a great, great day.
Listen, I'm pumped because tomorrow Adam Sandler will be on the show.
And, you know, without Adam Sandler,
Sandler, there is no me.
I said it.
Wow.
Not fully.
Not fully.
But I definitely wouldn't have waited into the music part of my career.
You guys have a great day.
We will see you tomorrow.
Adam Sandler on the show tomorrow.
Hank Williams Jr. on the show Friday.
All right.
Bye, everybody.
All right.
