Starting point is 00:02:38 Get started at Redfin.com. Own the dream. Welcome to Tuesday's show. Morning studio. Morning! Hope everybody's good. I do want to get an update in on lunchbox and a beef he has with a country artist. So you and Chris Jansen have been feuding.
Starting point is 00:03:03 Yeah, we have been feuding. Just remind our audience why this ridiculous feud, it's very one-sided, is taking place. Because he was having an album release party where you got to hear his new music. There was going to be food and drinks. And it said RSVP. So I RSVP for me plus four, which was my wife and my three kids. And they said, we can't accommodate that. Well, the title of his album is All In.
Starting point is 00:03:28 And so obviously, not everyone is All In. It's only some people get in is what it should be called. Should they have named his album that? Yes, because if you're going to say All In, then that means everybody gets to come in. But I don't think that means everything that happens in his life. I think for his music. The invite said, we are going to get all in with Chris Jansen. And so I'm like, well, that means we're all getting in.
Starting point is 00:03:49 So Chris Jansen, maybe you know him from this song right here. But it can buy me a boat. And he has, I'm digging him good vibes. Yeah. So big artist. And so you heard back from him. I did. He's trying to buy me off.
Starting point is 00:04:08 He replied and he said, listen, sorry about that. had no idea. Family is always welcome. Let me know what restaurant you want to go to, and you can take the whole family. I'll bring you a gift card. Wow. That's nice. That's what I'm talking about.
Starting point is 00:04:21 You're not really going to accept this. You created this feud. Yeah. He really goes to nowhere. You asked for five people at an industry event. Well, there will be no kids. And now you're going to. I didn't say no kids on it.
Starting point is 00:04:35 You ever been to an industry event like this? Yeah. There have been kids there. I've been there and the artist kids are there. Yeah. So, dude, I am getting dinner on the family. So you're going to let Chris Jansen buy you, your wife, and your three kids dinner, and you're going to feel good about that. Yeah, and I was thinking I'd just take the wife.
Starting point is 00:04:53 Like, leave the kids with a babysitter and take the wife. No, no, all in. All in. That's right. Not part in. Take them all. Okay, you know what? I'll take them all.
Starting point is 00:05:02 But now I just got to look up and find the most expensive restaurant in Nashville. That's also not. Oh, boy. Do you think lunchmock should take the gift card? No. I don't think so either. What do you mean? Because he created this feud.
Starting point is 00:05:12 Jansen feels pressure. He doesn't... Wow, wow, wow. Skuba, what do you think about this? He, you know, he obviously feels bad about it. Right, it feels gross, right? Which is kind of gross and weird. Because she even emailed me too and I was like, please don't.
Starting point is 00:05:25 I was like, don't do that. Who is she? His manager? His manager, yeah. Flash wife? Yes, yeah, and I was like, he can afford his own freaking lunch. You don't need a buy anything. Wow, so scuba's taking the car back.
Starting point is 00:05:33 Wow. Yeah, it's kind of weird. I wouldn't take. Even if me, I wouldn't take it personally. I would feel weird. Well, because he created this whole controversy himself. Hey, guys, you know what's going to not taste gross? Is the food that we go get with this gift card?
Starting point is 00:05:43 It's going to be amazing. Five star. How are you going to get in touch with him to do this? I'll just reply on Twitter and be like, hey, man, this is the restaurant on what? Bring it to me. Oh, my gosh. We have to be associated with them. Why are you embarrassed?
Starting point is 00:05:55 And now he's going to start doing this to every artist. I mean, if you're going to title it all in, yeah, I am. That means everyone's included. That's the name of the muse. Okay. All right, we're going to play a song here You guys want me to bring you a dessert from the restaurant? I think you know.
Starting point is 00:06:11 See? Yeah. Let's open up the mailbag. You send an email and we read it all the air. It's something we call Bobby's Mailbag. Yeah. Hello, Bobby Bones. I'm flying to a work event next week.
Starting point is 00:06:28 The company's paying from a flight and hotel. The event is from 1 to 4 p.m. My coworker just called and invited me to a dinner that she is organizing with several of our bosses. She said, if I didn't have anything to do to come, she just wanted to make sure I had something to do that night before I fly out the next day. Since several important people will be there
Starting point is 00:06:46 that I rarely get to see in person, I feel like I should go. But I will be at the work event with all these same people that I was with that whole day. What should I do? My best friend just moved there. I was planning to have dinner with her. I may see her only once a year.
Starting point is 00:07:01 Do I go to dinner with work people or see my friends. I will not be there long enough to do both. I'd appreciate your advice. Thanks. Working hard anonymously. Interesting question. I think me one year ago, what I said? Go to the work event
Starting point is 00:07:18 and meet up with your friend later. But that later situation is probably going to be too late for the friend if she has a real job that's wake up in the morning. Yeah. They probably will not even remember that you weren't there at the work event
Starting point is 00:07:32 two weeks from that day. I don't think there are going to be any bonuses given. I don't think there's going to be any inside information. If it were me today, I would meet the friend. Those relationships are super important. You need to invest in those because that job may not always be there. Those bosses may not always be there if you have that same job. But that friend will be. My advice to you is to go and see the friend. I don't know what person's inside of my body at this point. But that's what I say today. Bobby's like, I don't know who I am right now because I really should be telling you to go to the work event. But I do think the, I just, where we work, it's so fleeting.
Starting point is 00:08:15 Who knows? Tomorrow, we could all not work here tomorrow. Oh. What? That wouldn't be good. Well, it wouldn't be, right? Yeah. I think, especially since they say you don't have to come, don't go.
Starting point is 00:08:27 Yeah, she's just, it's like a casual thing like, hey, just making sure you have something to do. And guess what? You do have something. You have a friend there that you only see once a year. So nurture that relationship. And if there's a way you can swing it and do both, great. But this was pick one. We picked a friend. Yeah. Because that will be there forever. Right. And there will be other opportunities where you can hopefully, you know, get invited to something at works.
Starting point is 00:08:47 And this isn't even an opportunity for like a job. Right. So go to the friend. Thank you. We'll have to my gag reflex when I see that. Hey, it's hard. I know. It's hard. It's hard. Okay.
Starting point is 00:08:59 That's the mailbag. Thank you. We've got your email and we've read it on the air. Now it's about to close Bobby's mailbag. Yeah. Spring is here and so is free delivery on almost anything. Get everything you need to take on spring at our best prices of the season. From mulch to Trigger Grills.
Starting point is 00:09:19 Feels like spring at the Home Depot. Maltz available in store and at select stores only. Limited to 75 bags per customer. Go! On the Bobby Bones show, Now. Jillian Jacqueline and T.J. Al's born.
Starting point is 00:09:32 You know, for me, this is like the first time that I saw The Avengers and I saw Iron Man and Spider-Man together. And I loved them both separately. And I didn't realize. I was like, wow, they're together. But then once they were together, you're like, dang, it's cool. So, Jillian, Jacqueline, and, I mean, two people I love here. TJ, good to see you. It's good to see you, too, Bobby.
Starting point is 00:09:49 So here we are. How in the world did you two get together for this song? I'm more curious. Like, who's Iron Man, who's Spider-Man? She's Iron Man. That's what I was thinking too. Jillian, you're Iron Man. You're running the show.
Starting point is 00:09:59 here. I'm feeling a little leotards. Yeah. Well, I wrote this song about a year and a half ago and right when I was writing it, I was writing it over Zoom, and right as I was writing it, I heard TJ's voice singing with me on the chorus. He's one of my favorite voices of all time.
Starting point is 00:10:19 So I just kind of thought about it for a while. I was really nervous, but I eventually sent you the song, and I texted you. I was like, hey, and I think I had the wrong number because I didn't hear back from you for like weeks. I was like, oh, it's the song. That's when I texted him to, he doesn't respond to either for weeks. Okay. Well, eventually, somehow I got a hold of you, and you listened to it enough, and then he, you know, shot me a text back, and you were like,
Starting point is 00:10:43 yeah, I want to do it. But I loved that you were so intentional with it. You really took your time listening to it and figuring out if it, like, felt right for you. And then when you came into the studio to record it and started singing, I was like, this is, there's just these moments in life where it's just like serendipitous and you're like this was meant to be your voice on this song just makes it what it is so yeah thank you and obviously i've always been a huge fan of jillians and i've always admired her for so long and her her voice it's one of those things you hear it recorded and you're like it's it's so amazing but these days you know obviously you can really you can make a lot of people sound really good and you hear her live and it sounds exactly like it does on the recording
Starting point is 00:11:21 it's one of the most beautiful most like fragile voices i've ever heard it's it's truly like one of my faves and so I thought it would be amazing to collaborate with her and then she sent the song and I really really love the song and as Gillian said I mean sometimes you get asked to collaborate with some people and it works out or doesn't but I just I did I really kind of I did hear myself on it with her and I think it was good I'm glad that the text got through Jillian I'm glad yeah sounds like you're intentional with that text message response too
Starting point is 00:11:49 I'm pretty intentional there so Jillian Jacqueline's here with T. from Brothers Osborne. I would actually like to hear it. I want to talk more, but since we're talking about the song, would you mind playing it for us? This is called Better With a Broken Heart. Yeah. You guys ready?
Starting point is 00:12:06 Yeah, let's do it. A sunset goes good with a blanket on the hood and someone to red wine kiss. A morning was made for pulling down the shades and let's spend all day
Starting point is 00:12:30 just like this. And saying, Bye is always best in the dark But nothing goes together When it all falls apart Like neon burned out with a few whiskeys down In a sad song in a smoky bar A long drive alone
Starting point is 00:12:52 Rain on the roof of this car Some things just go better With a broken heart Some things just go better Something's just go better With a broken heart That's so good, guys Thank you
Starting point is 00:13:27 Like all of it The writing of the song How you arrange the song Getting T.J. on it, that's just Just A plus stuff, Jillian. Oh, thank you very much. Thank you, Bobby. It's a dream, honestly, having this guy on the song, so...
Starting point is 00:13:41 I mean, this is your mom with a shot girl. It ain't about me. No, hell. This song would not be what it is without him. But yeah, I think it's interesting, too, because duets are tough. I mean, you know, especially when it's a song, I wanted it to feel like we could both sing it and really own it and tell our own story.
Starting point is 00:13:58 And I think it's just the way we wrote it just feels like one of those classic country songs that I grew up loving. So I'm really, really proud of how it turned out. I am as well. Yeah, thank you. I'm a big fan. I think our audience should know you had a baby with your guitar player. This guy.
Starting point is 00:14:12 Yeah. We had a baby. There's also her husband, by the way. I just thought I'd set that up like that. Her husband plays a guitar for her. Yes. I know. And we still like walk around places and we're like,
Starting point is 00:14:22 whose baby is this? Is this ours? Like it's still so weird. But yes, we have a baby. What's that? I mean, I really have a pandemic and baby and marriage.
Starting point is 00:14:32 We haven't spent a lot of time together us three. So like what's life been like with the baby? I'm tired. I'm so tired. We're both tired. I mean, he's only five months old. So,
Starting point is 00:14:43 you know, it makes everything a little bit more challenging. but also so much more joyful, and he's just the cutest, I think he's the cutest baby in the world. His name's Rockwell. And, you know, it's amazing to get, to be able to do this kind of stuff
Starting point is 00:14:57 and also pursue being a mom. I mean, as an artist, you kind of try to figure out the right time to do these things, and it never is the right time. And so I'm glad we just jumped in, and now we get to bring him on the road. We'll pack him up in the van,
Starting point is 00:15:11 and he'll just hang out. I'm just kidding, not in a van. But, yeah, let me fun. What's the reason for Rockwell? How did that name come about? I love Norman Rockwell, the artist, and we also loved the nickname Rocky. I'm from Pennsylvania. I'm from Philly.
Starting point is 00:15:27 So we kind of like the ode to Rocky. And I don't know. Yeah, there's a few reasons. She keeps looking at her husband Brian who doesn't have a mic, who's playing guitar. And he's like, what are you to do? I can't say anything. I know, sorry. Is that, do you agree?
Starting point is 00:15:40 Yes. Rockwell? Yeah. She just looks for a head nod. Yes. T.J. By the way, let me say I love you. But your hair's blonde.
Starting point is 00:15:48 Yeah. What's up? I was telling everyone I walked in the studio earlier that, yeah, I dyed my hair blonde. I was like, I'm going to change it up, but it is my mom really, really, really hates it. And she tells me every time I go to her house, I'm like, I remember from the last time I was here that you didn't like it. I didn't suddenly think something changed. But yeah, just change it up a little. I love it.
Starting point is 00:16:09 Thank you. Yeah. You had just done it before the video when we talked of video. In fact, right before the video, I had it died and it turned into a really, really, really crazy color. Like, I was supposed to be there like an hour and a half. And I was like, I cannot be on camera. Like, this is really bad. And then the poor girl, she was like sweating.
Starting point is 00:16:28 And she went back. She applied something else on my head. And then it got worse. And then she like, I was like, oh my God. I have to be there like now. And she's like, one more thing. And then like put this stuff back in my hair. And it just kind of, you know, there's a picture of it here.
Starting point is 00:16:41 Oh, yeah. And it turned out pretty good. I more so felt terrible for her because I felt like the girl that was doing my hair. I thought she was like, I'm just going to end it now. I can't. She could not take it anymore. I mean, I felt actually really horrible for her. But it turned out really good.
Starting point is 00:16:56 The music video was really fun as well. They was shot in this, actually this family's home in Goodlet'sville. And I showed up there. Did they know? Like you didn't just. Well, honestly, when I walked through the front door, they were just chilling there. Yeah. So they were there.
Starting point is 00:17:08 Yeah. I was like. Probably had a heart attack when you walked in the door. It was really funny. Yeah. I don't think they knew who I was, but they were like, this is the best day of our lives. We're so glad they knocked on our door. They were very sweet.
Starting point is 00:17:17 They were very sweet. Yeah. Wait, how do you find, you just knock on a random family store? Our directors are very scrappy. Yeah, they just went. They found houses they liked the look of and they started asking people like, hey, well, you let us shoot at your house. And these people lottery, they said yes.
Starting point is 00:17:30 And they were like, TJ Osborne's coming over. Here we go. Oh, TJ, do you remember, TJ and I used to be neighbors? Remember, our street got shut down and they filmed like a movie or a TV show or something. on our street and we got paid. Remember to use our yards. He just like, what? You got paid?
Starting point is 00:17:48 Oh my God. Yeah, didn't we like a hundred bucks? I did not get paid. Maybe you did, but they did not. They were like... Oh, I can't remember the full story, but I know there was some production happening. You had the nicest house on the street, so they're like, we're going to take care of this. He ever lives there.
Starting point is 00:18:00 Okay, so I'm going to encourage you guys. Stream Better with a Broken Heart from Jillian, Jacqueline, and T.J. And I know there's an album coming January 4th of March, April, May, 6th of June. June, right? June 10th. Jillian's album will be out. We'll be sure to talk about it then when it comes out. As far as an artist, Gillian, you know, you are like one of my favorite.
Starting point is 00:18:20 Anything you do, I'm just wrap my arms in it and try to support it and love it. So, like, this is, I'm glad I love it because I would support it anyway, but I'd be like, no, I don't want that one. But I love this one. This is the great thing about it. That's really good to know. It's better when I love it. Oh, thank you.
Starting point is 00:18:37 Thank you so much, Bobby. You've always been such an amazing champion. and it's just an honor to be here again to share this song and to have this guy here with me. It's just amazing. And thank you Brian for playing guitar. You can't hear him because he didn't have a microphone. He said, thank you.
Starting point is 00:18:52 I had to be here because you are my wife. Yes. When I walked into the studio, because they were doing a little sound check, Jillian's like, hey, did you get my wedding gift? I don't know. I mean, that was a long time ago. And I don't, we've opened them, I think, we've opened them on. I said, what, did you get my card?
Starting point is 00:19:04 Hope it should go, yes. And then she'd go, no. And I was like, oh. Well, did you ask her, did you get my voice memo? because that's that one my thank you card was a voice memo. You know, I don't need to write you a note. I see you every day.
Starting point is 00:19:15 I'm positive, but we wrote Jillian and Brian. Do you want to tell everyone how I was the last person to RSV? Actually, I didn't remember to RSVP to your wedding. You had to call me like two days before your wedding. You're like, hey, just,
Starting point is 00:19:27 you're the only person that hasn't told us. I'm like, oh my God, I'm so sorry. I'm totally coming to your wedding. Like literally the only person who did not RSVP were Jillian and Brian. Really busy. And that's an embarrassing call to have to make because you're almost calling with the
Starting point is 00:19:42 possibility of getting rejected. It felt like, you know, like I'm 16 going to be like, do you want to go with me to have dinner? I'm starting to see why Jillian didn't get that card back though. Yes, right? Oh, you're on RCP? So what did you get me? Do you want to say?
Starting point is 00:19:58 Sure, yeah. I got you a really cool cutting board with your names and your wedding date on it. You don't seem impressed. It's really cute. I'm listening. I'm listening. I'm listening. I'm like, oh my God, that's a I will go today and I will check and see. Some of the stuff that we have is still in a room
Starting point is 00:20:15 because we have written thank you cards and haven't invested emotionally in it all yet. And I need to be there and invest. I'm sure you have quite a few gifts that you still have to open. But your wedding, by the way, I just have to say, your wedding was one of the most beautiful
Starting point is 00:20:26 heartfelt weddings I've ever been to. Besides my own. The most. Besides my own. Your speech, I'm sure you've talked about this enough, but your speech was just, I was sobbing because it was so real. And so I love when people write their own vows
Starting point is 00:20:40 and your vows were just top-notch. It was so good. We watched it back, and I was embarrassed. Really? That means you did something right. I'm embarrassed for what? I cried. I was clunky.
Starting point is 00:20:51 I'm supposed to be able to communicate. That's why it was awesome. And I was all over the place. And it was, yes. Thank you, Jay. That was why it was awesome. I mean, honestly, if you didn't, though, I think if you went up there and you just nailed it,
Starting point is 00:21:05 I think everyone would be like, what a psychopath. I mean, Totally. TJ from Brothers Osborne's here. A couple of questions. So, by the way, congrats on the Grammys.
Starting point is 00:21:16 Thank you. Awesome. When you went to the ACMs, you didn't do it on purpose, but I kind of got in trouble because of you guys, and you know I will defend. You know, I will defend your honor to the death.
Starting point is 00:21:30 And you guys go, all right, radio sucks. I hate radio. Whatever he said. Whatever. That is not why I said. Whatever. But you came on.
Starting point is 00:21:40 And I said, I agree with them. And I laid out exactly, you're like, our single guy dropped from country. I don't, can you say what you read. That's what I said. Thank you. Thank you. So here's the thing. I like this.
Starting point is 00:21:52 This is a great platform for clarity here. Go ahead. So we won the award again unexpectedly. And we got up and I thought, wow, you know, it was like just last week I had really bad news that our single got pulled. Which was a true statement. I did not even give my opinion of that. It was a fact. And then the very next thing I said, it was a nice this week to then win an award.
Starting point is 00:22:13 And so some people took it as me saying that maybe throwing shade, but I was like, I actually wasn't. If anything, I was actually trying to be a little bit more like self-deprecating. Like last week I sucked. And this week, I just won this award. Like crazy how life works out that way. In my mind, that's how I wanted it to sound. I think some people sound in that way, you know, speaking of giving speeches, you have in your mind what you're going to say, it was Mike Tyson say, everyone's got a plan. You get punched in the face. And so it feels a little bit that way. So I did not say anything
Starting point is 00:22:45 of that variety. However, some people, I think, just filled in the blanks there for whatever reason. It took it that way. And, you know, and the thing that was really kind of, that I was really upset about that whole thing was, is that contrary to maybe sometimes what our songs do is sometimes at radio. We actually have a very good relationship with most of not all people at radio. So in fact, I think a lot of reasons won't win those awards are from the votes from country radio. So there wasn't really an animosity there. It was just kind of as facts. As someone said, it doesn't feel good when someone tells you your baby's ugly, which is like our songs are our babies.
Starting point is 00:23:25 So it was like, it was facts. Thank you. Well, this is what happened. You say that. And I'm like, you know what? And people start saying, why are you dropping their song? I said, I don't think radio gives them a fair chance. I said, I don't think other artists in their category.
Starting point is 00:23:38 have such a quick release as Brothers Osmore does. And I don't know why, but you guys will get to a certain place in a certain amount of time, but because it's not quicker, it just gives up on you. And so I start presenting data on the air. I had program directors coming to me from all over the place, just punching me in the face online. And so here I am fighting for the honor, the pride. Well, thank you. And I was up. I was really just trying to give them all and represent you in the best form. Well, no, I appreciate it. I mean, it doesn't come without, you know, It doesn't lack any frustration there. But, I mean, it's business that takes a really, really, really long time.
Starting point is 00:24:12 I think now that my brother and I have gotten to a place to where we feel very happy with where we are, and we have had some success, it doesn't sting as mad. But when you're a new artist and that stuff happens, it's crippling. I stand by that you guys get screwed over more than anybody else. I mean, I stand by. You say nothing. You say nothing. I stand by it.
Starting point is 00:24:31 We need to stop screwing you. Over. Amen. But see, you have said that's not what you meant by that. It wasn't, no, it wasn't at the time. Yeah, I'm not going to say nothing. I'm just, these are Bobby's words. And I'm telling you, and I said it that day, I said,
Starting point is 00:24:50 they get screwed over more than anybody I know at the level they are. And I'll leave it there. You say nothing. That's it. And you've got the Grammy. So just remember this. You know, yeah. No, we were nominated twice, but we got one.
Starting point is 00:25:03 I take it back. You know what? That's what I said. If you're nominated against Chris Stapleton, it's a poor chance you're going to win it. It was the funny thing is that we did see him backstage and I was like, oh my gosh, the first time I was seeing Chris in forever. I'm like, you have to win a Grammy just to see Chris Stapleton these days backstage. New single, A-hab soon? Yeah, we're in the throes of that right now.
Starting point is 00:25:24 If we haven't got completely dry from radio, everyone's like, God, I'm sick of these guys. But yeah, we have some stuff that we're working on. Okay. I just have my vote for High Note. Can I just say High Note? if you guys haven't listened to High Note on Brothers Osborne's last album it is one of the best written songs
Starting point is 00:25:40 and your vocal performance is so good every time I can't help like it's just so good it's just like classic great music please go listen to that song if you haven't yes so let me restate this skeletons from Brothers Osborne but we're here today to celebrate Jillian Jacqueline
Starting point is 00:25:56 it's almost sounds like she died we're to celebrate she was great no but this song is so good it's so good it's so good it's so good it's so good it's so good good that after this I will go because I don't do a lot of at this point I'm so wrapped
Starting point is 00:26:10 up in producing content and doing the show I don't sit in any sort of music meetings anymore I am going to hand deliver this song to these folks and go like you guys are idiots if you don't like this is exactly what you want and what you're looking for if you don't play this I don't care if a record labels calling you or not
Starting point is 00:26:28 like you are just doing a disservice to our audience that we are trying to service and make their lives better. So everything I felt about Brothers Osborne, I'm moving that to you and I don't care about them as much anymore. So it's just great, Jillian, it's great. I feel the same one. Bobby, you're awesome. Thank you. I really appreciate
Starting point is 00:26:44 that. Love you. Love you. Love you. T.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J. You're fine. You're fine. We'll see you're doing some show. You're overseas. It's just pretty cool. Yeah. We're working on a lot of stuff right now. Yeah, around the album. I don't know. Maybe you're not overseas. It'll all be like on my website, jillianjohn.com. There you go. Yes. Thank you guys so much for

Topher Brown and Adam James, incredible songwriters, Nashville songwriters. They're two of the best. I'm just kidding. I haven't heard of them. I know them. Okay. That's all. By the way, I read from the wrong paper.
Starting point is 00:27:20 Brothers Osborne's overseas. Yeah. Good luck with that, guys. It's been rescheduled like five times. Okay, we have to go. Jillian, Jacqueline, and T.J. from Brothers Osborne. The song is called Better with a broken heart and we will see you guys soon. All right, bye guys. Bye. Thanks probably. Thank you.

Thomas Rett chose the song Slowdown Summer to share a different kind of love story with his fans. I wanted to choose that song because I haven't put anything out heartbreak-wise besides marry me. I just kind of wanted to show a different side of love story. I have lived that story with my wife when she went to Tennessee, and I wasn't smart enough to get into Tennessee, so I went to Lipscomb, and I knew that the moment she went to college, it was going to end. It's time for the good news. With producer Eddie. Yeah, home it's something good. Eight months ago, Brandon Puckett of Indianapolis was in Fort Wayne watching a 10-caps baseball game.
Starting point is 00:30:00 He's enjoying the game. He goes to concessions and he realizes, man, I don't have my wallet. I can't find it anywhere. He looked all over the park, ass lost and found, nothing. So, oh well, it was a loss. Well, just last week, an usher was cleaning around the stands. He goes, looks to the seats. He's like, that seat's kind of stuck.
Starting point is 00:30:18 What's in there? It's a wallet. He found Brandon's wallet from eight months ago. And it was a season opener. So there was a TV crew down on the field. He goes, hey, guys, I got a new story for you. I found this wallet. See if you can find the owner.
Starting point is 00:30:29 and they tracked them down on Twitter. See if you can find the owner I liked that because I thought it was going to be like lunchbox like, I found something. I'm turning it in. That's your goal. Put me on TV. Put me on TV.
Starting point is 00:30:39 So was the Usher on TV? Who knows? I don't know that part. Oh, you've got to be on TV and you've got to check and see if there's any cash. Yes. Because you've got to get a reward. No.
Starting point is 00:30:50 Oh my gosh. This is tell me something good. Eddie lost his wall at once. I'm a bachelor party. Uh-huh. She did. Left it on a bench in the middle of Fayetteville, Arkansas. I like one in the morning.
Starting point is 00:30:57 And then he went back the next morning after we had called the Uber driver, tore apart the Airbnb, and it was still sitting on the bench. Untouched. Untouched. Unbelievable. Miraculous. All right, that is what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good.

Starting point is 00:35:33 Take it easy. Take it easy. Hey, you know who that is? Who sings the original version? No idea. Lunchbox? No idea. If you had to guess lunchbox?
Starting point is 00:35:44 I would say Willie Nelson. The Eagles? Okay, the Eagles. The answer is the Eagles, yeah. Oh. Okay, so you two are going to battle it out here. Amy versus Lunchbox in this. Eddie, who would you, 10 bucks, you can pick whichever one you want.
Starting point is 00:35:59 Amy. I always want lunchbox. Why? He's always going to surprise you guys in these games, and I knew you were going to do that. Give me, Amy. I didn't even know that was a cover. See, good luck, Mons. That's okay.
Starting point is 00:36:09 I have faith in him. I got there with the Eagles, Eddie. Don't worry. He reaches up there deep and pull stuff out. Sometimes. You know what he reaches up? You know. That's what he reaches out.
Starting point is 00:36:17 He pulls stuff out of there sometimes. Okay, here we go. We have five of these and a tiebreaker if we need it. Here is the version that we all know, Garth Brooks Shameless. So that's from 1991. It's actually a cover. Garth didn't write it. It wasn't the first one to perform it. The original was by who? Oh, boy. Let me know when you're in?
Starting point is 00:36:52 I'm in. Amy Good? Yeah. The original came out two years prior. Oh. Oh, okay. Fleetwood Mac. Not a bad guess. Lunchbox?
Starting point is 00:37:04 George Jones? I don't know. I mean, they're about the same kind of guess, so fine. The answer is, and we'll play the clip in a second, Billy Joel from 1989. Okay, everybody good?
Starting point is 00:37:23 Let's get loose. Now I'm in. Now I'm in. Now I'm playing for real. Let's go. That was just being nice. All right. Focus up, lunchbox.
Starting point is 00:37:29 All right. Eddie, anything you want to say to your person? I mean, this may be a low-scoring game, but Amy, just beat them one to zero, okay? Just one. Okay, you have to admit, Billy Joel. Like a soccer match. That was hard.
Starting point is 00:37:38 That was a tough one, right? That was the hardest one. Okay, this is from 2002. Johnny Cash, Hurt. What have I become? He's song one of Grammy? My sweetest friend. He's covering it or he's the cover?
Starting point is 00:37:57 Shoot. He's covering it. All these versions are the cover version. So you're trying to find the original artist. I'm in. I got this one. I like it. I like.
Starting point is 00:38:08 I got that one. Amy. I don't believe him, but I like it. Exactly. Amy? Um, okay. Kirk Cobain. Lunchbox?
Starting point is 00:38:17 That is Bob Dylan. It's actually 9-inch nail. Oh. Oh, that's right. I heard this one. Sounds a lot different. Why he does? But that's how 9-inch Nels do it, yeah.
Starting point is 00:38:30 All right, let's get an easier one here. Okay. From 2013, here's Darius Rucker, Wagon Wheel. So, right me, Mama, like a wagon wheel. Rock me, Mama, and away. was covered Who's the original artist? I'll accept two different artists here, love it
Starting point is 00:38:55 Yeah, I'll accept two different artists here I don't know it You don't know it? I don't know it? Amy, this is it. What do you have? Shannon Doa. Amy.
Starting point is 00:39:06 Pretty sure one of my neighbors was in this band at one time, old Chrome Medicine show? He's in this band. He's in this band, is what I mean. He's an old neighbor of mine, I mean. From 2004, Old Crow Medicine. Oh,
Starting point is 00:39:18 Hits. So they actually finished the song. Bob Dylan had this on a random recording and didn't finish it. Then they finished it, and it was that song. I should have guessed Bob Dylan again. Should have, yeah. I think I'm going to stick with him for the rest of the world.
Starting point is 00:39:32 One to zero. I mean, here's the thing. I have no idea that any of these are covers, really. Except for I knew that one was. Lunchbox, you got to come through for you. Oh, I got this one. Just give it to me. From 2015.
Starting point is 00:39:44 Chris Stapleton, Tennessee Whiskey. I just feel like it's going to be a one-to-nothing game. Yeah, I agree. And we've already got the one. I know. That's what stinks for me. I'm going to know Eddie Tim Bucks. I'm in. Don't guess Bob Dylan.
Starting point is 00:40:11 I didn't. Okay. No worry. Hey, don't tell him that. I'd already be down. Relax. Amy. George Jones?
Starting point is 00:40:19 George Jones. Lunchbox? Johnny Cash. Well, the original was by David Allen Coe in 1981. That's right. Now, George Jones covered it. So does that count? You can't give it to you. Oh, no.
Starting point is 00:40:32 You were going to give both for... No, no, no. The difference is those first two wrote it. It was their original song. This, George Jones covered David Allen Coes. Wow. So there's multiple covers of the original. Okay.
Starting point is 00:40:45 Amy, good job, though. That was good. Thank you. Okay. I mean, you're not, for sure, not going to get this on either, much box. There's no chance. No.
Starting point is 00:40:54 there's not. Give him a chance, Bonds. Give me one that I know. You don't know any of them? No, I do. I know one. Which one do you know? Dixie Chicks. Which one? Manslide? You don't even know the name of the song? He's like, uh, if you play it. I know it. And then who's? Flewwood Mac with Stevie Nix.
Starting point is 00:41:10 Was that on there, Bunch? No. Okay. That's only one I know. Not even in a tiebreaker. Okay, here's number five. When you say nothing at all from Allison Krause and Union Station. When is this? 1994. This was from 94?
Starting point is 00:41:38 Oh, dang it, I was going to guess someone. Carly Pierce. Well, no, she'd have been like, who were you thinking? Yodel boy? 1994? This cover was in 1994. The original, though, was before that. All right, Amy.
Starting point is 00:41:55 You got it, Amy. Yeah, mm-hmm, Prince. What? Amy. Lunch bucks. Patsy Klein. Okay. Is that a person?
Starting point is 00:42:04 Yes. Keith Whitley. That's it. Dang it These are impossible. We got a soccer match here. It's over. Amy of one. What would have been the tiebreaker?
Starting point is 00:42:17 Maybe I can come back. Okay, Morgan Wallen, cover me up from 2019. Cover me up. The original done in 2013. 2013? Okay. Hinder. Hinder.
Starting point is 00:42:41 Tinder, lips of an angel. Amy. Al City. Jason Isbell, 2013. Oh. Similar vibe? No, not at all. Then Al City?
Starting point is 00:42:53 No. Similar vibe. No. They sing into a microphone? That's the only similarity to the vibe there. Amy, you went one to nothing. Yes. I mean, that was impossible.
Starting point is 00:43:09 One to zero. Eddie? Come on. Pay up, bones. I'll just Venmo you. What do you mean? Give me the 20. I see a 20 there.
Starting point is 00:43:17 I apologize, Bobby. That was my fault. That's all right. That's all right. That's all right. For inspiration to reach your goals, join Ben Nimpton to get on track to make the seemingly impossible possible.
Starting point is 00:43:30 Register for the May 5th event at expresspros.com slash express talks. Attend for a chance to win a career coaching session with me. Here's the riddle for you. Ready? Shelby, and this is a true story, is one of a set of triplets. Okay, triplets are three.
Starting point is 00:43:47 Yep. She's 28, but her two sisters are both 32. So she's a triplet. She's 28. Her sisters are 32. How? Because the other set of the rest of her triplets are brothers.
Starting point is 00:44:04 Why would that matter? I don't know. I just figured they weren't mentioned. Like... No. No, they're all there. There's all three of them. Dang it.
Starting point is 00:44:12 Okay. She's 28, but her sister age. but her two sisters that are also as part of the triplets are 32. She's 28 and they're 32. How does that happen? Hmm. Is it too long to say one more time? Okay, say it again, please.
Starting point is 00:44:33 Give me two one more time. Thank you. Now these three, all these sisters, they're triplets. There's no... These three. There's no joke with the words. Semantics, not the riddle here. Okay.
Starting point is 00:44:44 Three of them, they're triplets. Two of them are 32. She's 28. How? Talk it out, Amy. Do you know it? No, my head hurts right now. What do you think it is? That there are more triplets, sets of triplets. How is she part of this set of triplets?
Starting point is 00:45:00 But he said semantics not part of the deal. So our parents used in vitro fertilization. Oh, duh. To give birth to the sisters. And so the same, you know, because you can save eggs. Yeah. Embryos. Got it. Got it.
Starting point is 00:45:13 Yep. So they went and had hers four years later. That's cool. So Shelby again is one of the set of triplets. She's 28. Her sisters are 32. Shelby says her parents used in vitro to give birth to her sisters and then decided to try again four years later.
Starting point is 00:45:29 And they only used half the embryos for her sister. So four years later, they gave it another run. And boom, badim, there you go. She, same batch. Born. Do you just tell everyone you're still a triplet or do you just say those are my sisters? Those are my sisters. I think if you have the time you tell the story.
Starting point is 00:45:44 The whole story. If it's quick, they're just my sister. But they may look at, you know, very much the same. Wow. So, yes, Shelby and her sisters were conceived at the same time, but born four years apart. So that's an interesting little story there. And they look not, they don't look identical, any of them. So she could just say sister and nobody would know.
Starting point is 00:46:05 So I thought that one was pretty crazy. Yeah. Not impressed by you guys' riddle skills there. My head still hurts a little bit. Here's one, a bride and a groom flipped a coin to see who would take whose last name, which I think is pretty funny. That is funny. A non-traditional way of deciding whose last name they're going to take. A friend of the newlyweds, Alyssa Danielle, shared that the couple used a coin toss.
Starting point is 00:46:24 And I'd have to do like best out of seven. I couldn't do it on one. We were going to do this? No way we'd do it on one flip. It'd be over too quick. So they flipped a coin at the altar, one coin flip, and decided right there who's last name they were going to do. Wow. And you don't have to agree with whatever this is to still not acknowledge.
Starting point is 00:46:41 It's a pretty funny story. Yeah, but do you think it's similar to the baby reveals where, you know, know, the guy wants the boy, and then he has to act all excited, but he's disappointed. Well, I would say it's a little different in that he can actually act disappointed here and people don't go. That's insensitive. Because you can be like, oh, man, I'm losing my last name and you still take it. Like a baby's another life. This is terrible.
Starting point is 00:47:00 And if you're like, dang it, I didn't want a girl. You're like, dude, you can't do that. Yeah, your daughter's going to see that. Yes, I think it's more widely accepted if he's upset about that. Here's a voicemail from Rachel in Wisconsin. Me and my fiance are having a debate. How long should you wear underwear for? He has worn the same pair.
Starting point is 00:47:22 This is his first time changing his underwear this whole weekend, and I am repulsed. So just wondering what the team's feedback is. Thanks, everyone. Let's take out working out. If you work out, you've got to change. Like any of the things that can happen in the day, you really have from wake up to go to bed. That's it. After you shower at night, you got to put on fresh underwear.
Starting point is 00:47:42 And then you can wear those until it's time. change again. So usually the cycle is about 24 hours for one pair. If you do anything like hang out in the sun, anything athletic, well, you don't swim in underwear. You do. So anything physical, you have to change early. But it's one pair per one day, is what I would say.
Starting point is 00:48:00 Some people, like lunchbox, will just turn his around and get double the use. Yeah, you can turn them inside out because that part is not dirty. So you get 48 hours, maybe 72 if you really need it. And Eddie, if you go swimming in it, it's getting clean. It's going through the washing machine. And also turning it around. doesn't pull out the germs, and it's actually the same fat. Okay, but 24 hours is what I would say.
Starting point is 00:48:20 All right, here is another voicemail from last night. I have a joke for Amy. What do you call a witch that lives in the desert? A sandwich. Boom, there you go. Sand witch. The Babbage ball show. Here's Amy's pile of stories.
Starting point is 00:48:35 A new study just came out saying that half of us engage in at least one form of road rage, but one group of people in particular is more like. to do it, and it's people with kids. Uh-oh. Well, that would be the people that you'd want to do it the least because they're endangering their kids. Right, exactly. But my thought on this is that you're more passionate because you have precious cargo,
Starting point is 00:48:57 so you get angry at people that are threatening their safety, so you have road rage. Or your kids are driving you crazy and you're already on edge. Yes. And you are closer to road rage than other folks, and then you go right to it. Let's check in with our resident road rage expert, Eddie. Guys, I think you're half right.
Starting point is 00:49:13 Like, that's a little bit of a... everything. I think we have precious cargo in the back so you're like, hey, don't drive dangerously. Relax. Like, I need, I'm going to be the one to tell you that. And also, yes, like, I'm sticking up for them. So, yeah, that's... No, you're just out of control. Rageful. Okay. Well, since we do have a resident road rager, I was just going to run through the top things people do. And Eddie can say, yay, nay, if he has them. Shouting or laying on your horn. Mm, yay. Criticizing or threatening gesture, like giving someone the finger. No, no, no, no. But any gesture. That's a gesture. That's a gesture.
Starting point is 00:49:44 Hands up in the air. Yes. Okay. Tailgating someone on purpose. Sometimes. Yay. Cutting someone off or blocking them from merging. Absolutely.
Starting point is 00:49:53 Oh my gosh. Really? Chasing another driver. No way. Done it before. Oh, gosh. I'm getting out of your car to confront. No.
Starting point is 00:50:01 Never. No, no. Even if you're mad, you'll get beat up. It don't matter who it is. Long nails, they might be trendy right now, but they're also very unhygienic. A biology professor shared that super long fingernails, whether they are real or fake, attract a lot of bacteria,
Starting point is 00:50:17 and they're difficult to decontaminate with hand washing. So heads up if you've taken a part of this trend. I have not. So my head's down, but I appreciate that. I know a lot of girls that have, and you just have to scrub really, really good because you're carrying a lot of things in there. I'm personally trying to grow mine out to be a part of this trend.
Starting point is 00:50:33 You got like three years to go after looking at your hands. I know. Casey Musgraves once asked Willie Nelson if her grandfather could play at one of his poker nights, and here she is telling the story. I said, hey, would you mind if I brought my grandpa to come play in poker? So he said, sure, sure, bring him down. But the buy-in is going to be $300 cash.
Starting point is 00:50:52 We went. It was Woody Harrelson, Willie, my grandpa, they get going in the game or whatever. He loses all of his money. And then he eventually wins it all back. And then he stood up and said, well, I got to go. And he, like, ended on a high note. And then he went back to his little town in Texas. And apparently he was the talk of the town, and all his friends were super jealous.
Starting point is 00:51:11 All right. I'm Amy. That's my pile. That was Amy's pile of stories. It's time for the good news. With lunchbox. Tell me something good. Brian Davis of Andover, Minnesota had always wanted to have a pay phone in his yard. Pay phones are a thing in the past.
Starting point is 00:51:29 He's like, how funny would it be to put one up? So last September, he's like, you know what? Built it? Put the pay phone up. Cost him $20 a month for the phone bill. And then there's a little boy a couple weeks ago. wanders away from grandpa gets lost sees the pay phone
Starting point is 00:51:44 walks up calls 911 says oh yeah I wandered from my grandpaws and I don't know how to get home so the pay phone reunited him with his grandpa love it surprised he knew what that alien was yeah I mean I guess because even the handle if it's a kid the handle
Starting point is 00:52:00 doesn't look like a phone now the dial pad well there's no yeah the pad that's good for him maybe there's one of his house or something I have no idea how he knew how to use it, but it literally was a pay phone in this guy's front yard, and people from all over come to see it,
Starting point is 00:52:15 and this kid walked up, dialed 911. Also, what's up with that guy's payphone infatuation? I don't know. One of my neighbors has a pay phone in their front yard, and I wonder if it works. What do you mean they have a... It's like an old booth one, like a red booth. Like London style?
Starting point is 00:52:28 Yeah, like that. I'm going to go see if it works. That's a good story, lunchbox. That's what it's all about. That was tell me something good. Okay, over to Amy and the morning corny. The Morning Corny. What did the dog say when he sat on sandpaper?
Starting point is 00:52:47 What did the dog say when he sat on, okay, sandpaper. Rough, rough. Yeah. That's good. All right. That was the morning corny. Every town thinks they have the worst traffic. I've never been in a place or lived in a place where they go, you know, our traffic's pretty good here.
Starting point is 00:53:05 This is true. Everybody is like, oh, we got the worst. But here are the top five. Number five, Washington, D.C. So true. Number four, Houston. Oh, the worst. Well, not the worst.
Starting point is 00:53:16 The fourth worst. They don't mess around there either. Number three, New York City. Okay. Chicago at two. And the number one? L.A. Los Angeles.
Starting point is 00:53:26 Oh. Oh, yeah, that is really bad. It changes. It's the worst ever. My relationship with that city, which I'm not super comfortable there anyway, is being car sick. I get so car sick I just when I think about it
Starting point is 00:53:39 I'm either car sick or having to learn how to dance and I don't like those two feelings but that's what it is All right next segment It's mostly someone email on the show Going hey listen I got a work event to do But I got a friend who wants to hang out
Starting point is 00:53:51 How do you separate work and friendship You know we'll get into that in the mailbag And then we will reveal the Everything that was in the storage unit The Lunchbox and I bought Oh yes That's right see if we made some money All right those things coming up

Starting point is 00:58:47 that's get sunday.com all right the big moments finally here so lunchbox went out to our storage unit that we won in an auction last week all we could see was a few pictures taken from basically outside the storage unit. We put our money together. The winning bid was $190. But after taxes and a little feet of the auction site,
Starting point is 00:59:11 we paid $236.9 for everything in the storage unit with the goal of taking it and selling it and making more than $236.9. So here is Lunchbox arriving at the... We nervous? Oh, so nervous. So nervous because I was like, what if I'm going to be so disappointed? After all this time, the bidding, the sweat and tears that we put into hitting those buttons,
Starting point is 00:59:36 what if we lose money? Well, did you hit a button at all? No. Okay, cool. So here's lunchbox arriving at the storage unit. And also, I would like to just say, he praised to something called the storage locker gods. Yes, there's a different god for different things. Okay.
Starting point is 00:59:51 Is that right? No. Okay. No, there's no. Okay, here we go. How's it going? I'm the big. I'm the big winner.
Starting point is 00:59:59 I'm here to win my millions of dollars. I bought a unit. Yeah, businessman making business deals trying to get that money. Hey, my first, hey, I'm not going to get high, but hopefully. Hey, let's say a little prayer here, right? Dear, dear storage locker gods, okay? Dear storage locker gods. Amen.
Starting point is 01:00:21 Amen. Please, please. Let us strike gold and make lots of money on this unit. Money, money, money. I know this right. Yeah, now listen, when I say storage locker guys, when I say, please shine down on me and let us make some money, I mean like cold, hard cash.
Starting point is 01:00:38 Can I get an amen? Amen. Thank you. Why are you talking like that? He does that sometimes. Because I'm excited, guys. No, you have different voices for different things. Okay, and so lunchbox goes to the actual unit, right?
Starting point is 01:00:53 Yes. And you're going to like, I don't know what. I mean, I want everybody to know we're here, we're here to celebrate, Open it. Is there a lock on it? No, she had taken the lock off. There was just this red tag that identified my locker.
Starting point is 01:01:06 And she said, you go find that red tag? It's yours. And I went and found it. Woo! Oh! Open Sesame! Now, three, two, one. I had to unlock it, see?
Starting point is 01:01:29 All right. Three, two, one. Open Sesame. Oh, yeah. Was it full? It was not full. Okay. I mean, there's just a few things in there, and I looked at it and I'm like, wow, this is what it feels like.
Starting point is 01:01:46 This is what they feel like on Storage Wars when they finally get to go in their locker and start digging through things. So, Lunchbox and I have talked about what was in the locker. And I really can't share with you what was all in the locker. What do you mean? Well, let me say this. There was a burner phone. Oh. What else?
Starting point is 01:02:06 Uh-uh. I can't. A burner phone and other things you can't tell us? Yeah What? Use your imagination Are y'all gonna make money? We're gonna sell it
Starting point is 01:02:16 But we're not gonna sell it publicly Whoa whoa whoa What I have in mind I don't think you can sell bones And be legal There are no drugs Okay okay okay There's nothing illegal in there
Starting point is 01:02:25 This is how they become drug dealers This is how it starts Hey man I'll just sell What it was in the locker Yeah officer No swear man We bought it legally There were no drugs in there
Starting point is 01:02:36 Okay But But what was in the The storage unit I don't feel comfortable share. I'll say there were some shoes in there. We say that, right? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:02:45 We already knew. Those were in the picture. Yeah. Some really expensive shoes. Okay. Like, not just the Jordans. They weren't the picture. Yeah, just the Jordans in the picture.
Starting point is 01:02:56 Yeah, I mean, I thought that was the cream on the... It wasn't. No, that one... What's the big deal? Like, shoes were they... There's something he can't tell us. There are some things that we bought inside the storage unit that I feel like if we share puts us at risk.
Starting point is 01:03:09 Oh, I can understand that. So I support you. I know what it's like to be scared. We're still going to try to sell them. Interesting. We might make a lot of money. But at this point right now, I cannot tell you what was in the storage unit. So how are you going to sell it?
Starting point is 01:03:26 I don't know. I don't know. I'm nervous. But the deal is, lunchbox has to sell it. Yeah, yeah. He has to do it. But in the storage unit, there were things that we don't feel comfortable sharing on air because it could put us at risk.
Starting point is 01:03:43 The person that lost this unit probably would prefer to have not lost this unit, and I don't want to say what they are. So how did they lose it? I don't understand. They didn't pay the rent. They didn't pay the rent for... And then they just, they know,
Starting point is 01:03:54 okay, well, I guess I'm never going to get my stuff back? Well, I mean, the storage place called the person over 100 times. And they could have re-bought it in the auction, too, for $236. Which they should have done because there's way more, the $236 worth of stuff.
Starting point is 01:04:09 No way. So if we get out, oh, they could have. No, no, they could. You hear what I'm saying? No, I know. Hey, let's what I'm saying. Here's what I'm saying. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:04:21 I'm also worried the phone number they have. The storage unit is that phone. Is that burner phone? Yeah. Are we going to turn on the burner phone? I don't want to. Do it. Nope.
Starting point is 01:04:33 Just call one of the numbers. Be like, hey, we got this phone. Who is it? I just found this. Okay, so that's where we are. We have the storage unit. obviously when we get it it turns into something how does that happen? I don't know
Starting point is 01:04:45 of course it's going to be something with us just to clarify like y'all know it's a burner phone because it's written burner on the outside it doesn't say AT&T on it it's like a flip phone flip Motorola yeah yeah yeah you ever see these movies where they're just like yeah take the phone talk on it and throw in the ocean yeah this is that that's what that is
Starting point is 01:05:06 so that being said we're going to make some money off this we're going to sell this stuff. We just can't tell you what it is right now. Maybe in a future time we can, but we definitely hit the jackpot, but it's a jackpot that might kill us. Oh, I know. You can kind of popcorn tell it,
Starting point is 01:05:24 like tell different things from the unit at totally different times so that no one could add it up to the... Absolutely. We're going to sell it all first, though. Okay. Now, let's get rid of it. Okay. So Lunchbox, how do you plan to sell this stuff?
Starting point is 01:05:35 Oh, man. That's the scary part of it. Mike, can you get us on the dark web? Yeah, Mike. I mean, I figure, I don't know, there has to be shoe people out there that want the Jordans that you saw in the picture. And if you have other interest in shoes, let us know. Maybe other needs. Yeah. Okay.
Starting point is 01:05:50 That's where we are. We're going to sell. Oh, yeah. But we're going to make money. We are going to make money. We are going to make money. So you'll make your two whatever about. Oh, I think we'll make it pretty easily.
Starting point is 01:05:59 Yeah. Well, so first storage is success. Well, we'll see. Good luck to you guys. We'll see how you define success. Here is the last clip of, lunchbox after he goes in and finds it. Here you go.
Starting point is 01:06:12 To my first storage unit. Thank you. It's been quite an experience. Hope to get many more. It's going to be the start of something beautiful. You have a good life. Goodbye. You're a hero.
Starting point is 01:06:29 Okay. Pretty dramatic. It is. But we're going to try to sell all the stuff the next week. Then we'll popcorn and let you know what was in it. He's filming his own little reality show. My favorites. He yells one, two, three, open sesame.
Starting point is 01:06:40 And there's nobody around. And it doesn't open. Yeah, I forgot to pull the little tab out. So that's the update. We have bought it, and there's a lot in here, and we probably make a lot of money if we can get to that point. But it is shady what's happening. That's all.
Starting point is 01:06:58 We'll talk about it again in a week. And we can't post pictures. We cannot. No, no, no, nothing. No. You should hold everything up yourself. No. Like a guy that caught a fish.
Starting point is 01:07:06 Each thing you hold up. And y'all aren't being dramatic at all? No. Promise? Mm-hmm. Okay. I would love to say it because it would be the best content
Starting point is 01:07:15 if I could tell you what was in the storage van. But there are a lot of really nice shoes I'll say that. And there's other stuff too. That's all. It's time for the good news. With Bobby.
Starting point is 01:07:24 Tell me something good. John McClendon's a car hop at a Sonic in Athens, Texas, and everybody loves him. One, he works hard, and two, he has a really positive attitude so much so that somebody took a video of them,
Starting point is 01:07:37 post on social media. And so people were, wow, we love the guy. You know, we go to the Sonic. We love when this guy comes out to our car. So one of the people that also goes to the Sonic sees it and says, hey, let's get a big tip. So she raised a bunch of money and took $300 and surprised him with this tip at the Sonic.
Starting point is 01:07:54 And here's a clip of that. So 20, 40, 60, 80, 100. 20, 40, 60, 80, 20, 60, 80, 20, 60, 83, 20. Oh, my. For you. I love working here. I want to, I don't plan on leave men at all, actually. I just love working here.
Starting point is 01:08:13 So shout out John McClendon, who's the car hopped there, and shout out those people in Athens who donated to this guy. Again, big old tip, changed his life, at least for a couple weeks. That's awesome, and that's what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good. Country Music Superstar Jason Aldeen just dropped Georgia, the completion of his double album, Making Georgia, featuring Trouble with a Heartbreak.
Starting point is 01:08:35 It's available everywhere now and includes 20 new songs and 10 of his biggest hits live. The Double Vinyl Package is available, exclusively at Walmart. Go get it today. All right, time for the most important segment of the morning. We're catching you up with the big stories. Bobby's Big. Stories. The Powerball drawing that was about half a billion no jackpot winners. Wow.
Starting point is 01:09:01 So that was last night. Did you have your tickets? I had them. Did you win anything? I won $32. How much you spent total? $200. Okay, so you lost $168.
Starting point is 01:09:12 Yeah. If you want to look at it that way? No, no. That's what happened. You're minus 168. You're not plus 32. Don't bring negativity. No, that's not negativity.
Starting point is 01:09:20 It's facts. No, when you check your numbers, it said, oh, $32. That means I can go buy 16 more tickets. But how did you win those? I just matched like, I got the Powerball and then maybe two numbers. You know, nothing. I didn't get like five in a row. That'd be a million.
Starting point is 01:09:36 What's the closest you ever thought? Did you ever get the first two ride or something like that? I've gotten the first two right, and you're like, oh, Oh, man. And then you get no more. I was like, oh, no, no, no. Powerball, no. Okay, well.
Starting point is 01:09:48 So you're down 168 bucks for this drawing. Yeah, so now how much is it going to go to? Probably 750 million. Probably 750 or so, yeah. Yeah, then I've got to go to $250 at least. So you're going to go up. Okay. Well, there's no winner, so the lottery is your thing for entertainment.
Starting point is 01:10:00 Oh, let's go. Entertainment, then you should play. But to you, it is not entertainment. No, it is an investment. And you won this time. I won, 32 bucks. There you go. Speaking of a month.
Starting point is 01:10:12 Twitter has accepted Elon Musk's buyout deal. So, 44 billion bucks later, he bought Twitter, basically. Billion. So that's from CNBC. So it's not just Elon going, here's straight cash, homie, I'm buying it. Oh, it's not? Most of his worth is tied into Tesla, right? But he did get backers, and he is ahead, and they went and they bought this.
Starting point is 01:10:37 So he will be running Twitter. No idea what it means. Probably day-to-day, nothing for us. We'll just keep tweeting stupid stuff And there we go So does that mean everybody that was on the board Or whatever they're gone They lost their job because he bought it?
Starting point is 01:10:49 Could mean that If he decides to change it He decides, yeah But they voted him in so Well it kind of had to Because the offer was way over What the stock price was worth So the creator of Twitter was what's his name
Starting point is 01:11:00 I don't know Jack Dorsey So he's done? Yeah He's out He was already not the CEO anymore But so he just made $44 billion He already made a ton of
Starting point is 01:11:08 I mean No he didn't make $44 billion because, again, he bought, it went public. The company went public. Oh, I don't know what that means. Elon Musk is going to own Twitter. That's what it means. It's very interesting to see what happens next.
Starting point is 01:11:22 Tennessee has a bill that would require drunk drivers to pay child support to victims' families. Tennessee lawmakers have passed a bill that would put drunk drivers on the hook for financial support. The bill would force drunk drivers that are convicted of vehicular homicide to pay child support to the victim's families. The bill passed the state house and sentiment unanimously
Starting point is 01:11:40 and is now headed at the governor's desk. That is from WSMV. That is a great bill, and it is one that I think other states will adopt as well once this has passed. I don't see a negative there. Obviously, I didn't read the entire bill, but I don't see a negative here
Starting point is 01:11:55 where if you kill somebody and you were drunk that you take care of the kids. Yeah. So I don't know who wrote that bill, but nice job. More than 100 people who went to the same high school and now have brain tumors. Oh, I saw this. Wild story.
Starting point is 01:12:08 I can't. I, I, uh, I, uh, well, uh, uh, uh, I mean, I still have no words. I saw that. You made a lot of sounds there. This is crazy. An investigation is underway to New Jersey High School that could potentially be linked to what's known as Cancer Cluster.
Starting point is 01:12:23 After some digging, a man who attended Colonia High School in Woodbridge, New Jersey, discovered more than 100 former students and staff members had been diagnosed with the same sort of brain tumor, diagnosed in his wife, his sister, and himself. Unbelievable. Al Lupiano, an environmental scientist, has been a driving for, behind an investigation into the school, a place where he says 117 people with primary brain tumors, and 70 with rare cancers, either attended or worked there in prior years.
Starting point is 01:12:53 Lupiano says he can't rule out other possibilities, but adds that when looking at the numbers and where people lived in respect to the school, they had nothing else in common. When the doctor discovered that both he and his wife had the same type of tumor, he said the odds were like seeing a married couple both being struck by lightning. both the school and local government are looking into concerns, but he feels discouraged by the hands-off approach. He says state and federal agencies have taken so far. Well, yeah, because, I mean, they need to make sure.
Starting point is 01:13:19 This reminds me of the Aaron Brockovich movie in, like, certain areas contrary to it, is it in the water? Is there a certain, you know, plant or facility nearby that's omitting something that's causing that? I, like, if I go to that school right now, I'm like, okay, who do I do? That is from Fox 21 News. That is really scary. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:13:38 A Minnesota 13-year-old is set to graduate with a bachelor's from the University of Minnesota. This is awesome. Elliot Tanner says after he gets his bachelor's degree in physics from the University of Minnesota, he's going to move on to a PhD in physics. He's one of the youngest grads the university he has seen and has been active in his studies through participating in undergraduate research and tutoring other students. Wow. You know, there's like some 20-year-old that's struggling, like, okay, we got you a tutor.
Starting point is 01:14:04 Hi, I'm Elliot. So embarrassing. Besides physics, Tanner says he loves pop culture. He loves the show Young Sheldon. Yes, that's a good show. It is? I have that in common with him. That's what Amy gets excited about Young Sheldon.
Starting point is 01:14:18 Pretty cool, though, 13 years old. This is the kind of kid that if he stays with it and still is, you know, driven toward this and doesn't burn out. You can change the world or discover something. That's from K-A-R-E-11 News. From a Harvard scientist, there's a meteor at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean. And he said this years ago, he goes, hit? He goes, that's not a meteor. That's alien technology. And everybody laughed him off at first. But last week, the U.S. Space Command confirmed that a meteor that hit Earth in 2014 came from
Starting point is 01:14:51 another solar system and is the first known interstellar object. This physicist claimed that a meteor that hit Earth wasn't that, but instead a piece of alien technology. So he said, hey, this is, and he had a name for it, it was some kind of like a sail, space sail or something. It's like, guys, that is the bottom of the ocean. That ain't a piece of rock. That's from another technology that, like, flew off the ship. Like, they didn't send it down to track us.
Starting point is 01:15:22 It wasn't an Apple air pod. Air tag. So where are they now? Like, what do they think? What do you mean? It's in the bottom of the ocean still. You don't pull it up and research it? You can't even get to the bottom of the air.
Starting point is 01:15:32 I mean, you know how far the ocean is? Yeah, you guys are acting like you just go down there willy-nilly. I mean, we got to the moon. We can't go down to the ocean? Even harder. Wow. Yeah, even harder. We started watching the Elon Musk documentary last night about SpaceX.
Starting point is 01:15:43 Yeah. You watched that on Netflix? No, but now I'm going to write it down. You know, I don't know. I don't know that you should. I'm not recommending it yet. How far are you? I'm interested.
Starting point is 01:15:52 We finished the first episode. A little bit of it was boring. But some of it was really cool. But the guy we talked to on the show is leading that mission, the SpaceX guy, who came on. He's like a billionaire, but he's like a pilot. Pretty cool how they're, you know, sending these civilians into space. And maybe they already did, and I just don't remember. Don't spoil it.
Starting point is 01:16:08 Yeah, I don't know. Did you know that one time they played golf on the moon? Yeah, I've seen the picture. Yeah. There's a picture of them playing golf on the moon? They hit a golf shot with a club. Who, like Neil and Buzz? Yeah, like that group.
Starting point is 01:16:19 Oh, okay. Yes, yes. Thank you, Amy, for that. Yeah. Talk songs and country music to wrap up the news. Number three, a former number one from Derek's Hardy and Breeland. Beers on Me. You're short on cash say cheers.

This first call is Bobby in Mississippi.
Starting point is 01:17:18 We shared with you guys what happened when we opened our storage locker. Lunchbox and I bought like a storage unit on an auction. We can't really share what was in it because there's some shady business. Yeah, my wife went with me and she was so excited. And after about 10 minutes, she goes, I don't like this anymore. That's what she said. We would reveal everything that we found, but we think it would be trouble for lots of people, including us. We're still going to sell it.
Starting point is 01:17:43 And then that puts us at danger. Everybody in this room. Not really. You guys are cool. You guys are clear. I like that you included yourself, Amy. Amy's trying to jump in like, I'm living that rough life. She's going to want to cut to the profit, I feel like.
Starting point is 01:17:55 No, no, no. Bobby and Mississippi, what do you want to say about this? Hey, good morning, Bobby Bowles. Good morning, studio. Morning. I'd like to make an offer to you. Sight unseen. 500 bucks.
Starting point is 01:18:08 $500 for what? For a locker. No. $500? No. You're out of your mind. For some of the stuff that we have, you're out of your mind. Even the good stuff that we have.
Starting point is 01:18:18 You're out of your mind. What size you are you, buddy? Oh, my work. Yeah, a lot of these are like 11-ish. Yeah. Oh. You have 10 kids? Any of them where size 11?
Starting point is 01:18:35 And you have 500 extra dollars? Sure have. That's a good point. Amy says you have 500 extra bucks with 10. Three daughters, four sets of twins. Wow. Wow. I mean, that's the story right there.
Starting point is 01:18:49 Right? Um, listen, we had, do you like Kanye? He doesn't care about your question. Hold on a minute. But you don't want everything. Are you saying you want every... I don't even know if we can do that, honestly. You're saying you want everything in the locker
Starting point is 01:19:08 for a thousand bucks. You don't even know what it is. But why do you want this stuff? This is a deal. But again, we can make... I'm telling you we can make way more than that. Go ahead. But you're guaranteed.
Starting point is 01:19:23 Like lunch bucks in a way, except I'm better looking. I perceive, you know, being really... It's one day, but you've got to do it yourself. You can't play a lottery and hope to win all the time. I proceed. I can do things. You have $1,000 to pay us right now for all the stuff in this storage unit.
Starting point is 01:19:46 Yeah, yeah. I looked it up. If you're in Nashville, you're six hours and 45 minutes away, I can be there. I can be there first thing in the morning. Guys. I got to put you on hold for a second. I can talk about a partner because I think we can. can make more than that, but
Starting point is 01:20:02 let me just talk to my business partner off air. Thank you. Hold on. Hold on, Bob. Did he say $1,300? He said $1,000. Step in the meeting and close the doors. He said $1,300? Hold on. Look. Y'all, he has 10 kids. He called us! Yeah, I didn't call him.
Starting point is 01:20:18 Wait, Amy, let them do business. He came knocking on our door. Okay. Is anybody else curious? Maybe this is a real question. Maybe it's his original argument. I have a real question. Oh, gosh. Okay. He wants it back.
Starting point is 01:20:29 And he knows it's. Don't say that. Uh-oh. What? That's a good point. Okay, so I'm going to play a little song here. We're going to come back. Let's have a business meeting here.
Starting point is 01:20:38 A partner. Not you. You're out. Amy, you're out too. You got to stop. You're not in this. Hey, Ray, would you put Bobby and Mississippi back on real quick? He's on that final line.
Starting point is 01:20:50 Hey, Bobby. Hey, sir. Hey, Fun Killer. Scoob, Steve just came in and so we couldn't sell it to you. Okay. I'm sorry. Fun killer. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:20:59 He said we couldn't sell it to you because... Unless you said 1500. No, he didn't say that. He didn't. Don't do that by. No, but if he said 1500... I know. If he said 1500, I'd ignore Scuba.
Starting point is 01:21:14 No. I'm in a fun kill. Okay, 17. You guys aren't our parents. I know, but... But Amy, you can't just be mad because we're making that profit. No, you can't let your business partner... Don't do this.
Starting point is 01:21:27 Don't go down that road. I'm not. But if he did say 1500... So we can't. unless it's 1750. So anyway, listen, Bobby, we can't, we can't. And I have everybody on the phone wanting,
Starting point is 01:21:37 they all want the shoes. Right? Because these are- You have more callers? Every line is people outbidding each other. It's like trade-io. You guys ever do trade-io? Back when I was doing KLAZ in Hot Springs,
Starting point is 01:21:47 I'd be like, all right, on Sunday morning I'd go on and be like, all right, we got Becky, who's got a candle she wants to sell. She'll take $25. What? I've never heard of this. That's awesome. I do it for two hours. Wow.
Starting point is 01:21:58 I get up there, people would call and be like, hey, Bobby, Yeah, what's up? I got a new hog. Just had some, had some babies. We're going to sell three of them out here. If anybody wants them, I'd be like, all right, what you need there? I'm looking about $75 bucks a piece.
Starting point is 01:22:09 We're out here on Albert Pike. And I'd be like, all right, well, he's got three hogs, three babies. Albert Pike, if you guys want them, call his number. That was trade a-de-o. Man, you've done it all. Oh, yeah. That's hilarious. That's some fun stuff.
Starting point is 01:22:21 Can't do this. We'll have to sell it ourselves, lunchbox. We can't sell it to listeners. Okay. All right. Good? I don't know. Was he going to go up?
Starting point is 01:22:29 I can't talk about that. Now, if you happen to have a cell phone number, I call them up at the show. I don't know anything about that either. All right, that's it. We're going to move on from this. Thank you all. Next, Amy had a bunch of her daughter's friends at her house
Starting point is 01:22:42 because her daughter had a birthday party. The question is, what if she had showed them an R-rated movie? Oh, boy. That's what they wanted to watch. Well, we'll let her talk about it. And we'll get into that next. Starting point is 01:25:47 There's no safe like SimpliSafe. Owning a home comes with a lot of things. Nobody really prepares you. for including yard care. Sunday is a company trying to make that part easier. They start with a soil test and climate data to build a yard plan tailor to where you live, then ship everything directly to your door. No guesswork, no dragging bags of fertilizer. And instead of harsh chemicals, Sunday uses simple nutrient dense ingredients like seaweed, molasses, and iron. Everything hooks up to a hose, which honestly sounds like my speed. If your yard feels more stressful than satisfying,
Starting point is 01:26:23 Sunday's approach makes a lot of sense. Go to get sunday.com to get your free custom yard analysis. That's get sunday.com. Okay, so what happened at your daughter's party? Well, she had about 17 girlfriends over there. Yeah. I think if you added up all my friends from all the years, maybe 17. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:26:43 So it was a fun day of swimming. And then as it started to get dark outside, we had put up a screen in the backyard for an outdoor movie with projectors. So the screen is huge. So I'm like, okay. What are we going to? No, we've had it for several years. We had the projector and then we just, I ordered off of Amazon like this like flimsy little screen thing. Wow.
Starting point is 01:27:03 It just put up between two poles. It's nothing crazy. So then I'm like, okay, well, what movie are we going to download for it? And my daughter's like, scream. I already texted everybody. They're cool with it. The old school scream. Yeah, the rated R scream, scary movie from back in the day.
Starting point is 01:27:19 And my daughter loves scary movies. And I just thought she was so nonchalant. Like, I already texted on my friends. They're cool with it. And I said, so I Google. I'm like, is it PG-13? What is it? I Google it.
Starting point is 01:27:30 I love common sense media, which is, it's commonsensemedia. org for any parents out there. It's a great place to go and just check what other parents are saying about movies. So it's rated R. And it says, Scream is rated R for strong bloody violence, language throughout, and some sexual references. And it's definitely not suitable for kids under 17. I'm looking at Common Sense Media and it says parents say 14 and up is good.
Starting point is 01:27:55 That's what the parent, like they do a combined thing of them. Kids say 13 and up. Of course kids say that. But then there's also a common sense media part where like experts weigh in and they think that the movie is best for older teens and adults. You know, they should now, since we have the ability to download and stream things so quickly, they should like scream just have also a PG-13 version you can download. Totally.
Starting point is 01:28:17 Like they should do that with movies. There are movies that kids want to see. they should now just remove a few things once it's been out a while, like edited songs. You know, if you don't want Snoop cursing in this song, great, you take it out. Radio edit. Same thing. They should do PG-13 edits on all the movies. I fully support that because they do have unrated scream.
Starting point is 01:28:37 Well, that sounds worse. Which my daughter was also interested in, but that's where they have scenes that were taken out to make it are. So do you think the parents would have been mad? Well, I just wouldn't even going to risk it. So I'm like, well, I get that you checked with all your friends about watching it, but I'm not going to contact 17 different parents and be like, hey, you cool with me showing a rated-d-ar movie on a huge screen in my backyard? So no, I mixed it.
Starting point is 01:29:01 Did your daughter think you were lame? I guess it really doesn't matter. I think probably a little bit. No, I'm saying, does she say that to you, or did she have any sort of like, oh, come on, mom? Yeah, she always does. Oh, come on, mom. It's not the big of a deal. And I said, well, I could understand if I sit and watch screen with you, maybe.
Starting point is 01:29:17 but I'm not just going to show it to a bunch of girls in my backyard that are ages 13, 14 years old. Did you guys watch Baby Shark or what? We watched Daddy Daycare. Oh, my goodness. They picked it. That's kind of funny. They picked it.
Starting point is 01:29:32 They thought it was great. And then after that one finished, they were like, let's watch Daddy's Home. So, like, I don't know. They loved it then. Yeah, so there were funny movies. And I think that they enjoyed it and had a good time. But I just was not going to have parents be the parent that show to rated our movie at my daughter's birthday party.
Starting point is 01:29:49 Good for you. Right? Yes, Amy, I support you. Thank you. Thank you. I support you. That's a tough thing. You don't want to be the lame mom. Right. But I think you made the right move, right? Of course I did. Keith Urban Wild Hearts.
Starting point is 01:30:03 Hey, it's Bobby Bones. You got to take a closer look at the general insurance. Get quality coverage at prices that you can afford with the general. Call 800 general or visit the general.com for more. The General Auto Insurance Services, Inc. And Insurance Agency, Nashville, Tennessee, some restrictions apply. So these are big songs that artists now regret, and I'll start with Taylor Swift. Here's Picture to Burn. The story said Taylor had some regrets about a line that said, so go and tell all your friends that I'm obsessive and crazy.
Starting point is 01:30:38 That's fine. I'll tell mine. You're gay. And that's what the line in the song says. And so, said now the way I would say that and the way I would feel about pain is different. told MTV News. The controversial lyrics have been scrubbed from the official music video and the version of the song that's available to stream.
Starting point is 01:30:54 Okay. So she took that out. I heard that again a few weeks ago. Played somewhere and I was like, wow. Got your attention to there? Yeah, I was like, wow. Okay. Frank Sinatra, Strangers in the Night. Hated the song. What often in performance is call it the worst blanket song he's ever heard
Starting point is 01:31:12 before he sang it. But he knew people wanted to hear it, so it goes, the worst song ever heard. Strangels is a that Miley Cyrus Wrecking Ball I love this song Yeah what's wrong with it And it's not so much the song
Starting point is 01:31:29 But it's what do you think of When this song plays Miley's swinging on a big wrecking ball Naked, yes Oh, she regrets that Well she says I'm never living that down I'll always be the naked girl on a reckon ball No matter how much I
Starting point is 01:31:43 Then she goes on to some other stuff She's like it's just everybody just remembers me naked on a wrecking ball. And so, she's like, oh, that song kind of drives me crazy. But that is a jam. That one, you know, it's our party,
Starting point is 01:31:55 we can do what we want. That's a good one too. What was that one called? We won't stop. And we won't stop. Yeah, Miley's got the jams. The Beastie Boys, fight for your right to party.
Starting point is 01:32:06 You gotta fight! They even said the song sucks because what happened was they made this as a joke, like a sarcastic take on and making fun of frat guys. but frat guys took it as their own and started to make it as like their anthem
Starting point is 01:32:23 and they were like well heck I guess we now got to embrace it but they wrote it making fun of what they're singing about but then all the people they were making fun it was like it's legit thank you this speaks to me and it became a massive song let Zeppelin stairway to heaven
Starting point is 01:32:39 all it glitters is gold and she's fine the lead singer's like I can't sing the song anymore he said hey when I wrote it in 71 Like it had a meaning, but now it's a wedding song. It's played all the time. I don't want to do it anymore. And it's also part of the reason that him and Jimmy Page, the guitar player, don't get along. It's like, I'm not singing it. I'm not doing that anymore. It's their biggest song. They're massive. They're a massive band, obviously. But that's that one. It's also 34 minutes long. Oh my gosh. It's not literally 34 minutes. It's a very long song. Paramore Misery Business.
Starting point is 01:33:19 They took it from their live shows This is a good song too And I guess I just don't listen to lyrics that much And I don't know the lyrics to many songs Heck even our own But I'm always like It's true Melody I just
Starting point is 01:33:36 I'm a melody guy I guess And some of the lyrics It goes Let me find the lyric here Here we go Once a whore you're nothing more I'm sorry that'll never change And so it was like
Starting point is 01:33:50 Yeah we don't like that so they don't do that one anymore Pharrell Williams blurred lines never thought about what the song meant oh so you just regret doing it with Robin Thick
Starting point is 01:34:00 no I think because the song's kind of like rapy sounding oh it's like blurred lines like I know you want it oh good point yeah I didn't
Starting point is 01:34:10 not think of that me either I don't listen to lyrics very often I'm just like you got yeah and heck didn't they steal the song
Starting point is 01:34:19 too it is all bad for them on this one oh yeah Marvin Gay Oh, I thought... Okay, wow. What? That's interesting.
Starting point is 01:34:25 I had not thought of it that way. I don't think of what songs mean or really what they're saying in songs. He does say, you know, you want it. I know. Now when I read this article, I'm like, dang. I can't believe that. That article's from just Jared. I thought it was super interesting.
Starting point is 01:34:38 There's some more, too, if you find the article, and we'll post it. James Blunt, you're beautiful. He's like, I'm not that serious of a dude. Oh, but that's a jam, though. He was like, it was everywhere, and people just think I'm the most serious guy because it's like an intense love song. I saw you on a subway I know it's true
Starting point is 01:34:55 So he's like no thank you Katie Perry I kissed a girl First song right It was She was like because it shouldn't be that big a deal That I'm like I kissed her girl She's like it's you know I shouldn't be like This is crazy that I did this
Starting point is 01:35:10 It should just be normal If that What does she say exactly here We've come a long way Let's see And then Kirk Cobain hated It smells like Teen Spirit from Nirvana
Starting point is 01:35:21 because he said he wrote way better songs than that. This was just played on MTV all the time and he just got tired of everybody knowing every word and that's what you're supposed to do if you're anti-the-system, you know? Yeah, totally totally. No, that makes sense. It's like, yeah, people are performing.
Starting point is 01:35:37 It's interesting, the anti-the-system, like that you've got to fight for your right to party and then that one, it just became huge songs. It changed their lives, all of them. That one wasn't written to be anti-the-system. It just, the system embraced it And it changed music and it was everywhere. And so the fact that it was on MTV every 45 minutes,
Starting point is 01:35:55 he didn't like the fact that he was now considered pop music. So there you go. Let me tell you about the songs I regret, right? Hobby Lobby Bobby. No. Mostly just because they stay in people's heads. They'll be like, I hate you. I can't get Hobby Lobby Bobby out of my head.
Starting point is 01:36:11 I'm sorry, man. Okay, that's it. Let me see. I do have a question about lunchbox here. Let's go to Cohen in Virginia. who's on the phone. Cohen, what's going on? Studio. You're on the air, man. What's happening? I just wanted to comment and say,
Starting point is 01:36:30 I think we should change lunchbox nickname because it's a little misleading. Okay, go ahead. All right. You picture lunchbox. I'm picturing maybe like 6-2, 6-1, heavy set guy, kind of like big square-ish head, flat top haircut.
Starting point is 01:36:48 And then we looked at him on the internet and and it just broke a heart. Disappointed. Why? Had this image in our heads and then... Well, what did you see? We see this little...
Starting point is 01:37:04 This little dude. Kind of bald. Oh, no. Yeah. I think you looked at Eddie because there's nothing even close to bald about me or little. What celebrity do you look like to you?
Starting point is 01:37:15 I don't really know. No one. Doug Honey? Not a lunch box. Not a lunch box. All right, but... I mean... We're not going to change his name.
Starting point is 01:37:26 Yeah, I'm five of a little. 11. I'm almost six feet, so I don't know who he was looking at that was almost bald. I mean, I have a whole full head of hair. I'm a good looking dude. What would you name him, Cohen, if you could change his name? Then we got to go. What would you name him? Squirrel. Wow. All right, there we have it. Just hang up on this guy.
Starting point is 01:37:45 All right, hey, squirrel said we got to go. All right, Cohen. See you, squirrel. All right, see a squirrel. I like it. That's pretty funny. Well, anyway, Amy, Eddie, squirrel. Great job so far. Lobby Bones show
Starting point is 01:37:59 Bonehead This story comes us from California A man was trying to steal a catalytic converter from a car He's out there And then all of a sudden A car starts to roll And boom
Starting point is 01:38:12 Ran over him Oh no He died I don't say We're gonna go with that I like that I like that He went over his leg
Starting point is 01:38:22 Nobody can die in the bonehead That's the story A couple things one, do you know what a catalytic converter is? No, I don't. I don't either. But they are, they're popular for being stolen right now because you can sell them for like $2.50 a pop.
Starting point is 01:38:37 And that's the only reason I know even what it is. So I don't know what a catalytic converter is. But I'd also like to point out, and I mean this in the most loving way, lunchbox. There's sometimes that you struggle with word ambulance or any array of words. However, you nailed catalytic converter for a car. It just flew off his tongue.
Starting point is 01:38:56 It's beautiful. Well, I mean, I can say it. It's part of the exhaust system in the car, but I don't, I mean, I couldn't tell you exactly how it works. But you nailed a catalytic converter for a car. Good job, man. That's a good word. But you can't really say the thing that drives people when they're injured. Amblance.
Starting point is 01:39:09 Amblance, yes. Can't say that word. There you go. I'm lunchbox. That's your bonehead story of the day. All right, so this mom has an 11-month-old baby boy. He weighs over 30 pounds. Oh, my gosh.
Starting point is 01:39:20 And so people think he's like a three- or four-year-old, but he is a gigantic baby. the average weight for a baby about a year old is about 17 pounds and this baby is over 30 wow Alexa explained that she overproduces milk but if he was full help me out here Eddie don't they just stop drinking milk normally they do yes
Starting point is 01:39:45 but if she overproduces milk which is the reason why the baby is huge couldn't she just stop him from drinking milk and eating let's compare it to Stanley Okay. Will Stanley stop eating if there's more food? He will stop eating if I stop the food from getting to him. Yeah, but if the food's always coming. But my point is, she can always remove the baby.
Starting point is 01:40:04 That's true. I know, but if the baby's crying, you'll do anything to make it stop. Well, it's an 11-month-old that's 30 pounds. Wow. And people stop her. She's like, oh, that's cute. When's he going to school? You know what?
Starting point is 01:40:16 He's one. That is wild. That's from the New York Post. Okay, that's it. We'll see you tomorrow. Have a good Tuesday. Bye, everybody. Bolly Bones show.
