Morning studio.
Morning.
Amy, you good?
Yeah, you?
Yeah, pretty good.
On the Bobbycast, I was able to hang out and talk about.
talk with Billy Ray Cyrus for an hour. Pretty elusive fella. I mean, he got really, really
famous again with Old Town Road after he was really, really famous again for Hannah Montana,
after he was really, really famous again for having a country music career. So the guy's been
able to consistently reinvent himself and come back. But he came over to the house and, I mean,
we talked about everything, achy breaky heart. It was actually named something different when he
found it. He talked about the advice that Dolly Parton gave him. So this is a little bit of me
and Billy Ray Cyrus.
The whole thing, the hour, is on the Bobby cast,
but I want you to hear this.
Here's a few minutes of me with Billy Ray.
On the Bobby Bones Show now.
Billy Ray Cyrus.
Whenever Akey, break your heart,
they come to you and go, hey, want this to be the first single?
Are you like, I agree, or are you like,
I don't know, I have these other songs
that I feel very passionate about?
I felt like there was one.
You did.
There was something about it,
that especially when we would play it,
you could just feel the energy.
and the dance floors would pack.
And again, by then, I started getting these little jobs at country clubs,
where they had a lot of boot scoot dancing and that kind of thing.
And when we would play this new song I'd cut called,
at the time it was called Don't Tell My Heart.
And I noticed no matter how bad they hated us,
when I played Don't Tell My Heart, they packed the dance floor.
And after that I told Mercury Records,
I said, man, that one song, Don't Tell My Heart,
it's a dance song, even the boot scooters.
They'd get out there and scooting boots across the floor.
and I said, I think that song might be called Akey Breakie Heart
because the drunks or whoever always say,
play that Akey Bracky song.
That's how you suggested it because the people at the bar
were like, play Akey Breakie at Akey Breakie Song.
That's funny.
But it was called Don't Tell My Heart.
And Don Von Tris, the Vietnam veteran who ironically wrote the song
when he came to meet me at the music meal,
I said, hey, sir, did you ever think about changing the name of that song
to Akee Breakie Heart?
And he said, I don't care what you call it.
let's just get them to put it out and uh they did and whenever i you look at your career like from
uh 10 000 feet up like you've been able to consistently come back and be successful in all these
different areas music and then television when you know you did the show with mily you keep reinventing
how you do music like your girl like what in the world like who are you having these conversations with
it it's like all right belly right this is what you need to do now honestly dolly first and four
most get into acting don't be dependent on radio for a career she said that to you
mhm chris christopherson wail and jennings um and most importantly my dad said look at
kennie rogers have one of those kind of careers i said dad i'd love to but how do you he said
you got to get into acting i said dad you know i ain't even been in a church play i can't act he said i'm
sure it's just like everything else you just got to start and that is that's such good advice
It is good advice.
No matter what you're going to do in life.
You ain't ever going to get it done if you don't start.
Well, you know I love you.
Oh, thank you.
I love you too.
I love having you around.
Anytime I get to see, it's always a treat for me.
Amen, brother.
Thank you all so much.
Billy Ray Cyrus.
An honor being with you.
Thank you.

And I do think you will like that interview a whole lot.
All right, let's open up the mailbag.
You send an email and we read it on the air
It's something we call Bobby's Mailbag
Yeah
Hello, Bobby Bones
A mom dropped off her 11-year-old kid
For a sleepover with my son
The only thing is she left her other child
At my house too who is much younger
Roughly five
This was not discussed or planned
Who would do this?
I don't know
A terrible person
Or a mom who just completely misunderstood
The younger child requires a lot more
my attention that I was not prepared for. I spent my afternoon muting myself in meetings,
even leaving a few of them to deal with her children and the younger one crying or coming into my
office. It wasn't until about six hours later she showed up to pick up her youngest. Nothing was said
about the situation and I was so frazzled by the entire thing I just wanted them gone. How would
you all have handled this? How do I handle it going forward? Is this okay? The more I replay it,
the more bothered I am and feel like I should say something. Please help.
Yes, she actually had the day off of work this day.
Oh, even worse.
What?
Signed anonymous and bothered.
I don't have kids, but I'm going to answer this from the miscommunication.
I would just tell her what happened and ask if there was a miscommunication.
And if there wasn't, then you can handle, like, Amy Nett, I'm about to tell you.
But I would just make sure that there wasn't some confusion in what she thought you said or what you might have said that you don't realize it.
Maybe you say kids.
Yeah.
Yeah, bring the kids.
So, I don't know.
Bring the kids.
Before you get upset, I would just make sure there was no miscommunication.
That's an easy fix if so.
Just have the, hey, did I, did you tell me you were bringing both kids over?
Like, that's not a hard thing to ask.
Because she probably didn't.
But once you get through that, then you can get mad.
Amy?
I feel like now that time has passed, you just let it go.
First of all, I would stop replaying it in my head.
That's where you keep getting riled up because you keep reliving it.
Oh, I love watching reruns.
I love watching reruns or something in here.
No.
Not good.
That is not good.
I'll watch that thing like season three of Friends.
I will watch it over and over.
No, you need to shut that down, change the channel quick.
Then just don't have this kid over again.
If you do, then you need to have a conversation of,
hey, like last time I know your other kid was here,
this time I can only handle the 11-year-old.
Like, that's what's going to work for us.
And you set that boundary then.
You don't go revisit this one because it's already happened.
My assumption is if it's a kid spending the night,
it's somebody who's pretty close to.
Yeah.
It's a friend-proof.
I mean, but you would be shocked how people just send their kids.
I just read this email.
I'm pushing all the kids over there.
Yeah.
I mean, I'm very protective of who I let my kids spend the night with.
But some parents are like, cool, what time do I pick him up?
I would think if it's one of your son's good, good friends, you've got to talk about it, though.
Because he's going to want to, or you're going to want to send your kid over there.
I just ignore it until it happens again.
Eddie?
I'm with Amy.
You know, I can't believe this parent did that first off.
But, you know, it's a one and done.
Like, you know what?
They did it.
It's fine.
Next time, though, eyes open.
As soon as they get out of the car.
In years.
If that little one gets out again, you're like, hey, whoo, real quick.
Before you drop them off, only he's staying, right?
Have that conversation.
There's just got to be some sort of misunderstanding.
It's a five-year-old.
Yeah.
Yeah, no, that's very different than 11.
Somebody had to say something that made somebody think that was okay.
Yeah.
I would think a mom just wouldn't throw her five-year-old.
Or maybe this is her little hat trick.
Her little...
What do you think a hat trick is?
I don't know.
After that came out, I was like,
I don't know why I said that.
What is it?
Three?
Yeah, three.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
You're right.
That's three things.
So it's her parenting trick where she just like tests out how many times she can get away with it.
She's like, maybe I just drop my five-year-old off, see what happens.
What if she has a younger friend for the five-year-old?
She drops the older kid off with them accidentally too.
It's kind of her way to send two at one.
It's her hat trick.
It's like a bogo.
It's a bogo cell.
Pay less.
All right.
Thank you for the email.
Good luck.
Their advice is probably better than mine.
But that's what we have to say.
Close it up there.
We've got your key.
So a girl was driving up a little bit up.
Bobby's mailback.
So a girl was driving into our yard through the driveway, and I was driving out.
And so I backed up a little bit.
I said, come on.
And I knew it was Uber Eats because Caitlin had ordered some food.
So she pulled in, I said, hey, Uber Eats.
It's like, you can just leave the food here.
And she was like, no, I don't have food.
I have cookies.
So somebody had sent cookies for my birthday.
I guess there were two Uber Eats.
cars coming. One we ordered one, somebody else sent to the house. Okay, so Uber rates, by the way, like Postmates, like DoorDash. And so she shows me the box of cookies and I'm like, hey, I'm going to be right back. If you'll just put them right there by the door, I'll get them when I come back. And she's like, okay, cool, thanks. So I pull up and I watch her in the rearview mirror. She has the cookies. She walks out, gets out of the car, takes the cookies, puts them on the ground, picks them back up, gets back in her car and leaves. I don't understand. Why would she do that?
Stole cookies
But why would she even put them down?
Why would she even come all the way to your house?
I don't know.
Well, because she had to on the app.
Oh.
Yeah, I mean, you got to like clock in.
It tells you how to get there.
She even does the whole motion, set it down.
And I left, and she thought I was all the way gone,
but I saw her in my rear view fake, like she puts cookies down.
And maybe she laid them on the ground for a second
and then get back in her car with cookies and leave.
But because I was gone, she stole the cookies.
Wow.
I couldn't believe it.
Why in the world?
I can't get a hold of her because she wasn't my Uber Eats driver.
But do you know who sent them?
Yeah, but I don't even know them that well.
It was like an agent from something.
So I'm not going to call them and be like, hey, appreciate those birthday cookies, but she stole them.
Let's get to the bottom of this.
I wonder if she did steal them or there was some cookie confusion.
There's no cookie confusion.
And that's crazy you saw it happen.
She didn't think I could still see her.
She thought I drove off.
Was it the cookies in a pink box?
Yes, it's exactly what it was.
Those are good.
I don't blame her.
You would have stolen too.
Maybe she was like, oh, this week's flavors are legit.
One of my friends was in town.
He used to drive for DoorDash or something like that.
And over the pandemic, he said he did like 3,000 orders.
And I was like, you guys got to eat that food, right?
Like if there's a fry, there's.
And he was like, in 3,000 orders, maybe three times.
And I was like, I knew it.
Three times.
I knew you.
And did you do.
Dang.
Like, what?
Fries.
It's if a fry was overflowing.
If anything is able to be.
And he said he never did it in the car, but if he's walking out with it,
because he would also put it in the trunk sometimes to make it look like, you know,
I didn't have access to your food.
Yeah.
But you got to carry it from the restaurant and put it in the car.
So you got to have a couple fries, put in the trunk and then drive off.
It's like the game of operation where you have to slide your hand in there and not touch anything else.
I knew it.
I knew it.
So, yeah, that's why I was just sad about that.
I was sad.
My cookies never got to the house.
Probably better they never got to the house because I would have eaten them all.
But that's my story.
Hey, did you see, did you tell me that you saw your dad?
Yes.
Well.
Your dad who is not alive anymore.
Yeah.
He showed up.
It's crazy.
Because I told y'all after he died last year that I had never had a Blue Jay visit my feeder.
My mom had come as a cardinal, but no Blue Jay.
And then all of a sudden last year, Blue Jay came.
So for our listeners who are new to this, Amy believes that there are birds and these birds are her mom,
Which is a, no, no, okay, you just, what you said.
Her mom comes back as a cardinal to see her, and her dad comes back as a blue jay.
Potentially.
And they're more so, like, signs from my parents.
Not that they're, like, actually came back and were born as a bird.
Can I just say this?
If you can't prove either way, why not I just think it's really good?
I don't really care how we want to say it, but I just don't, I just am clarifying that maybe my mom's like,
oh, I'm going to go stop by and see Amy today as a cardinal.
But if you're creating that, why not just put your mom in the bird?
Okay, sure.
She hatched.
She's a cardinal.
Sometimes she's a male.
Sometimes she's a female cardinal.
So my dad showed up as a Blue Jay.
Like right, the weekend after he died.
Then occasionally I get a Blue Jay, but it's been forever since a Blue Jay has come around.
Like, it's been months.
And my sister flew in on Friday, and that happened to be the day my dad died a year ago.
And she came in for that and we were going to cook and, like, honor him.
And when we got in from the airport, we're hanging out in the kitchen and we both look out.
into the trees.
Everybody's there.
Kids, we're all witnessing it.
What is there?
A blue jay.
So you haven't seen a blue jay in how long?
Months.
And it's the anniversary of your dad's death.
Yes.
And your sister happens to be here.
Yes.
And we both look outside.
And plus, I mean, maybe a blue jay comes, but we don't see it.
Do you have many birds probably come that we just don't notice?
And everyone looks out the window and sees the blue jay?
I will say, I don't believe it, but that's pretty cool.
I have witnesses.
Oh, I believe you saw the bird.
Yeah.
Yeah, yeah, I don't...
Oh, but you just...
I have no way to prove that it was my dad's sending.
For me, I don't think your mom's burden your dad's a blue jacket, but I don't know.
But it's a sign.
Absolutely, it can be, and I can't say it's not.
You said your grandma sent you a sign.
No, no, no, no, no.
Let's reverse that.
I know, I did not.
I said I couldn't prove it either way, but it was really weird that when I was like, I don't know,
20-something, the guitar that she gave me, like, bang, clanked over.
Coincidence, probably.
You said, Grandma,
give me a sign.
I know, I get a guitar telephone.
I'm telling you, I still,
even though that happened, I still think
maybe I was like to throw my arms
and the wind, but I have trouble
believing that stuff. I know, I know,
but it's way more fun to believe it.
Absolutely, it is. And I wish I could allow myself
to go, like, that for sure was.
Yeah. I wish I could do what you're doing.
I'm like, seeing a parent and a bird.
Thank you, Jesus, for giving us
the gift of animals to remind us of our parents.
She realized how crazy she sounds from when she says that.
Well, anyway, I think it's,
It's great that you and your sister were able to experience that.
True or not, it did give you a feeling.
Yeah.
It did deliver something to you that you needed, and that is amazing.
So cool.
We've been waiting because my dad died on April Fool's.
We always thought he was going to be like, just kidding.
He shows up.
It's Andy Kaufman.
So I'm sure every year we're going to be like, maybe this is when he comes back.
Well, I do like the story, and I liked it.
It brought you guys happiness.
Yeah, it was cool.
Because that's it.
That's what's about.
New Zeequel Pure Z's Restortive Herbal Sleep is a melatonin, free
sleep aid made with clinically studied plant-based ingredients to help promote better restorative sleep.
Sleep this good, feel this good.
A few months ago, Eddie walked from West Virginia to Tennessee.
Just straight up walked it for charity.
Legs hurt, feet hurt for days.
Still hurt at all?
I still think I have a permanent injury on one of my foot, feet.
Yeah, one of them.
I mean, you can't even say feet, foot right now.
Because it hurts so bad still.
This woman, Margaret, said she needs to.
needed to get away from the chaos of life.
So she's reconnecting with herself.
And she is walking over 3,000 miles.
Wow.
Not for charity just to reconnect.
What advice would you give her?
Just pace yourself?
You know, my problem was that I had a, like, I had a goal.
I had to be there by Wednesday.
And that was a lot of stress.
I had to hit like 25 miles a day.
For her, just pace yourself.
If you can do five, cool.
If you can do 21 day, awesome.
But if not, just relax and like get through it.
I was worried, man,
I was going to get injured and then not be able to do the whole thing.
Before or while you're doing it?
While I was doing it.
At Margaret across America.
She's doing 15 miles a day.
Yeah.
See?
For 3,000 miles.
One of those days, she's going to have to do like five.
How many miles was yours?
How many miles was yours?
That's a little under 100.
Oh, wow.
Yeah.
No, that's what I'm saying.
Every day I had this like 25 goal and I'm like, oh, am I going to make it today?
And every day I did it.
When I think back, it feels like it was 10,000 miles.
Yeah, I know.
It felt like that when I was walking it.
Morgan number two's 30 Second Skinny.
Jimmy Allen announced a new album called Tulip Drive that will be out on June 24th.
The lead single from the project is out now called Down Home.
Down Home, oh you know, Mama still cooking them down home.
I promise I'm working with this guitar about as hard as it came.
I made a girl bought a house.
I put a nice little baby down home.
Dirk's Bentley is bringing back his Seven Peaks,
Music Festival over Labor Day weekend. It will be at a new location, Villa Grove, Colorado.
The lineup will be announced next week. Jason Aldine talked about why he named his double album
after his hometown. Just where I learned how to do everything as a musician. And so I kind of wanted
to name the album after my hometown for that reason because it's where it all started. And being my
10th album, double album, it just kind of seemed like the fitting title. I'm Morgan number two. That's
your skinny.
It's time for the good news.
With producer Eddie.
Tell me something good.
There was a flamingo that escaped a zoo in Wichita, Kansas, 17 years ago.
And the zookeepers are like, well, you know, it was tagged, so I'm sure people have seen it.
And they've spotted it.
They've said they've spotted it somewhere around Louisiana a couple years ago.
Wait, wait, wait, wait.
It left Kansas and in other states.
I guess the wings weren't clipped or whatever, so the flamino actually flew up and took off and escaped the zoo.
But people said they've seen it in Louisiana.
Wisconsin, they've had reports in Wisconsin.
They finally found out a couple days ago.
They found Pink Floyd the Flamingo.
Hopefully he's living like a good life with his family.
Hey man, he's doing good.
He's off the coast in Texas, living his best life.
Do they let him live?
Yeah, they said they've thought about bringing him back to the zoo,
but they're like, you know what?
He's been gone for 17 years.
Let him live his life.
17.
Yeah, Pink Floyd, man, living off the coast of Texas.
How long do Flamingos even live?
50 years, it says.
Wow.
He's 25 years old.
So he's got a lot more life to live.
live. It probably got like a Ferrari.
I got an older Ferrari driving around,
top down. On the beach.
Second wife. Yeah.
Divorce a few times. For sure.
Well, second wife, be a divorce once.
All right, good story. That's what it's all about.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
I have two stories that blew my mind. Here we go. Number one.
A couple who can't agree on their last name,
which, when Kately and I got married,
I was like, you can keep your last name.
Or we talked about hyphenating for a minute.
But she was like, no, you know, we're going to have kids and they're going to share a name.
So I was like, cool.
But I was totally okay with her taking.
But then she was like, well, take my last name.
I was like, ah, don't know.
So that's basically what we're dealing with here.
So they couldn't agree on the last name.
They have agreed to divorce and remarry every three years so they can take turns switching out last names.
Oh, my gosh.
Oh, so exhausting.
Bleu my mind that someone would do this.
It gets a lot of work to go file all that paperwork.
But also, doesn't a judge have to allow you to be divorced?
Yeah.
Oh, true.
Depending on what state you live in, you have to do all these things like, you know, therapy
and, you know, stay separated for a certain amount of time.
The wife to be was very frustrated about not being able to keep her maiden name
and her fiancee complained about it to some friends.
And so, well, why don't we look at this creatively and we'll just trade back and forth?
If that's the case, it's just hyphenated.
You're so stubborn.
Like, who cares?
Again, I didn't care at all if she didn't want to take my last name.
I think that's an old, old, old school tradition that that's for you, great.
But if it's not for you, I completely understand.
And I think you make a good point about the kids.
So what do their kids do every three years if they do have them?
Oh, yeah.
Which I named this year, Daddy.
Isn't that wild they would do that?
Yes.
There's another one, and this one is a little scarier, but also, boom, just as mind-blown.
A Perlin family is sharing their terrifying experience after being.
targeted by high-tech scammers.
This comes from Houston, K-H-O-U channel 11.
So, a dad got a call.
The daughter was crying.
She said she's in an accident.
Then a guy comes on the phone and tells his dad to wire money or he may not see her again.
Dang.
But it's his daughter.
Except it's not really they did voice cloning on her voice.
Oh my gosh.
That is freaky.
Here's a clip from K-H-O-U news in Houston.
I answer it and it's someone crying.
The voice of his daughter, Brittany.
I've had an accident.
Dad.
Help me.
me, then a man comes on. He goes, I've got your daughter. She's in my car. But if you don't listen to
what I'm saying and if you draw attention to yourself, you may not ever see your daughter again.
The caller told John to stay on the phone, get cash, then drive to a grocery store. Once there,
he was ordered to wire the money to Mexico. Luckily, before he could do it, Brittany had called her
mom. I couldn't believe it. I was just like, I'm okay. Like, I'm fine. Luckily, she called her mom,
because here is the crazy way that they think they got the daughter's voice and used it on the phone.
The FTC has raised the alarm about voice cloning technology and how it could be used for bad in the future.
We post videos on TikTok. They'll find examples of your speech online or wherever they can find it.
And then they will put it into a program. It can then clone that and they can use that to get your voice to say things that you did in
actually say.
That's crazy.
It's kind of brilliant.
I just don't understand.
There's so much work in this
that why can't they just get a job
and get like do this legally.
Well, because this is
like this is so weird.
This is a job.
They're going to go to jail and they get caught.
This might be more lucrative.
And it's easier.
It's quicker.
I mean, and really, no harm.
They don't really have.
No harm.
Did you just say the words no harm?
What are you talking about?
I'm joking.
They don't have to actually kidnap somebody.
They just get their voice.
That's a great point, Amy.
This is what I would recommend.
I'm saying.
Yeah, that is a good point.
They didn't kidnap me.
But they're stealing.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
It's bad.
It's bad.
Bad.
Don't do it.
Well, the victim then becomes a person who's lost the money.
But nobody gets hurt.
Right, but nobody's hurt.
It used to be you had to actually kidnap someone.
Yeah, yeah.
Stop bringing me to your side.
Yeah, you're already there, votes.
So here is the thing.
This is what I would suggest everybody to do with their family today.
Go home, go to your families, and give them a secret word.
Now, why a secret word?
because if this happens and someone voice clones you
or human clones you and there's another one,
or fakes like they're you.
Unless they know the secret word,
you don't listen to them.
You know, my look is I'll forget the word.
The secret word, yeah.
I do that sometimes on my alarm people call.
They're like, what's your secret word?
Turn out the alarm?
Oh, no.
And I'll run through a few of them.
Yeah, it's got to be this.
And then they're so annoyed.
Yeah.
But give them a secret word,
and then this can't be done.
Harry Houdini did this with his wife.
Now, Harry Houdini, the crazy guy who would escape, you know, I'll be in the middle of town, chained up,
watching me escape from chains in the street.
Back in the 20s, yeah.
So he died.
And all these psychics came to his wife going, hey, I can tell you what Harry Houdini was saying when he died.
I know what he wants now.
And he said, don't believe a single person that was talking to me unless they tell you the secret word.
And not a single psychic could tell.
Not a single one that claimed they had psychic powers could say the secret word.
and so nobody ever believed they were talking with Harry Houdini.
That's so good.
What was the secret word?
Pumpernickel.
I can't say it now.
I'll never know.
But so have a secret word with your family.
Just for anything.
If it's like, hey, if you're questioning, if it's really me wanting,
let's say somebody's picking up your kid from school.
Oh, yeah, that's a good idea.
Have a secret word.
And if they say they're here to pick you up and I sent them
and they don't say the secret word,
do not get in the car with them.
Luckily, the schools have a good handle on that, too.
Like, they have a list of cars that are allowed to pick up.
each kid or mine and then sometimes I have to actually like have help and I forget to tell the school and I'm like I swear they're fine let my kid get in that car is that every school though I don't think I don't think of Mount Pine High School or Mount Pine Elementary oh really you just drive up and anyone if anyone's willing to take it yeah wow so the voice cloning is scary but I think from this have a secret or with your family then in case anything gets dicey you have to use good stuff yeah cool yeah yeah anyway mine's hamburger all right we're gonna I was leaning towards
poop.
Oh, that was mine.
Here's the question.
What's a song that's come out in the last few years
that puts a smile on your face whenever you hear it?
Amy, your first.
Every single time, it's Nico Moon's good time.
Yeah, that's a good one.
We just trying to catch a good time.
Of course.
That's that bottle around the camp.
That's a bottle.
That's something makes you do all the background stuff too.
Yeah.
Yeah, that's a good one.
That's a good one.
I don't know if I can beat that one.
Eddie?
Oh, mine's Levitating by Duolipa.
That's a good one too.
Oh, come on.
You.
Oh, that's summer.
I need you.
All right.
Come on dance with me.
I'm levitating.
That's a good one.
So good.
That's good.
That's good.
Lunchbox, what do you have?
I was on a boat that day.
Old Dominion.
That's a good summer song.
And I don't think that went number one for them.
I think that they were just like.
All right, that's gone as far as it can go
Oh wow
But that was like a good beat fun one
Yeah
Morgan
It's a new one from Andy Grammer
It's called Damn it feels good to be me
Hey put the old bleat button on Morgan there on
All right
You're only shining
When you act yourself
Wish I could learn that
For I went through hell
Lord I was trying to flip the cards I was dealt
I was tired
Pretty good Ray
Big,
Energy by Lotto.
Yeah, that's a good one.
I see all Mariah Carey, like the sample of that song?
Yeah.
That's a good.
Turn that one out.
But I might let you try it off the Hennessy.
Make them sign to this thing like a melody.
And if your girl, I ain't right, I got the remedy.
It ain't too many of them that can have to me.
What are you loving?
Like, idiot.
It's me good.
Make you smile, right?
I like the Hardy and Morgan Wallen song.
He went to Jared.
Love the song.
Went to word.
He pushes paper.
I push the dirt.
He's got that clean cut.
Driving him a clean truck.
I'm just sitting here with a beer in my jeans tug.
He's tied horse and carrots.
Nearly three carrots.
He went to Jerry.
I went to the bar.
The first line of that, when Hardy was in here, I was talking.
It's like, he went to Ole Miss.
I went to work.
And I was like, dang.
That paints the picture.
That's it.
I don't need you to say anything else.
Like, that's it.
So that's good if I were to pick my favorite of those that's not mine. I can't pick mine
Ooh that's tough on go on I probably have to go with
I probably oh it was your lunchbox old dominia yeah that's good
man whoa whoa whoa whoa there's a good
Dio leave it they do leave it so good I'm gonna go with Morgan's though again because I heard that one yeah
That's a good one this is so good we'll put them all up on if you guys on Twitter Instagram
If you guys want to see these songs and keep
them for yourself. All right, nice job, everybody. Hey, I can't stop smiling right now.
Oh, yeah, me too. I can't get it off my face.
Here's a voicemail we got last night.
Hi, I was just wondering if you're going to do a employee of the month for March.
Great question. So it is early April. Today's the fifth. I'll tell you what. We'll do it on
Friday. We'll announce the employee of the month for last month, the month of March.
Right? Any leaders?
Oh, yeah. Hello.
Yeah, he does have the doll.
Oh, good. A lot more than the doll. But that happened in April, I think.
A lot more than the doll.
True. Well, I'll tell you what, I got to go and sit with the crew. Me and Mike and Scoob,
we'll sit and have a little talk and see who employee the month is this month. So Friday's show,
we'll do that. Thank you for reminding me.
The Bible Show. Here's Amy's pile of stories. So Amazon's Alexa is going to start telling
some users when items that they've had an eye on are about to go on sale. That's pretty good.
They'll give you a 24-hour heads up, which is amazing. Well, what they can do, though,
is see what you've clicked that you have your eye on and then just go, yep, they're on sale.
Yeah, and they'll give you
So that way you don't
Put them on sale purposefully
That's my point
Oh, really?
Yeah, duh
No
No
So smart
No, they can be
24 hour heads up
They're like hey
24 hours we're gonna put it on sale
Because you've clicked it
I didn't think about that
Hey, whatever
I agree
I'm buying it anyway
You might as well
If your theory is correct
Then I'm gonna start
Clicking on lots of things
And then make them put it all on sale
But then you're buying lots of things
Yes and that's what they want you to do
That things that I need
Boy they saw you come in a name
All right, what else?
So Amy Schumer, she has a show out on Hulu right now called Life and Beth,
and I actually watched it and thought it was really good.
And today's the first day that I learned that it's actually semi-autobiographical.
Like I thought it was just totally fiction, but it's only some fiction,
and she weaved in some of her real life into the story,
her childhood and stuff she went through,
which she now revealed that she suffers from pulling hair out.
And she did when she was a child.
And I thought that was just part of the storyline, like the fiction.
But no, she's like, this is a secret that I've had for years, and I lived in a lot of shame.
And now I'm so glad that it's out there.
And hopefully other people are feeling comfort knowing that they're not alone.
And it's called trichotillomania.
Do you eat it?
Or is that you just pull it out?
So I've had a very, very, very mild form of it.
But especially with like, if I'm super stressed or anxiety, like, I have this one spot in the left back side of my head where my hair person is like, you're kind of thinning.
right there and I'm like, oh, that's where I pull my hair out.
So I've gotten to where I can just pull at it and I don't pull it out all the time.
Just every once in a while I go, and I get that release.
But some people, sadly, have it in a very severe way where, like, in Amy's case, she had to
wear a wig for a little while or they pull out eyebrow or eyelash hairs.
So anyway, I just want people to know, yeah, you're not alone.
And shout out to Amy Schumer for opening up.
I have something weird where my teeth feel like they're foreign in my mouth.
You guys ever have that?
No.
Like the last couple of months, my teeth just feel like they shouldn't be.
there. And I'm always like, what is that called? I'm sure it's called something. Weirdo
Complex too. And like I always pushing in on, it just feels like my teeth. If I had like five extra
teeth that showed up right now, you'd be like, well, those aren't, those, those don't feel right.
They're not the right place. But all my teeth feel like that in half for a couple of months.
Oh. So I'm going to make a show about that.
Life and Beth is so good. You should watch it.
Michael Sarah's in it, I think, the other guy. Yeah. Yeah. Now I don't want to watch it,
but I appreciate you saying that. Okay. What else?
Well, Jimmy Allen said his number one rule for songwriting is he must be able to sing the song in front of his grandma.
So I guess he doesn't like to write about anything like too risque because it'd be awkward.
So it got me curious like what's raging idiots number one rule for songwriting?
We just test out punchlines.
It's got to be funny.
Yeah.
Like we will write a song.
And like I have a couple we've written three months ago and I can't listen to them yet because I won't think they're funny yet because we just wrote them.
I need to live with and not hear them for a long time
and then listen back to them and see if I think they're funny.
Because once you're inside of something forever,
nothing's funny anymore.
And you're like, this is so funny.
And you're like, oh, we've been writing the same joke for 30 minutes.
So I've got two songs.
One called The In-Law song that I haven't listened to one time.
We'd laugh in so hard when we wrote it.
I haven't listened to it one time since then
because I just want to see if it's funny fresh again.
Okay.
That's what we do.
Good idea.
Then when we rock the crowds with nonstop laughter,
oh, nothing like it.
I made me.
That's my pie.
That was Amy's pile of stories.

It's time for the good news.
With lunchbox.
Tell me something good.
This 28-year-old girl named Brittany from Newark, New Jersey.
He is on her way to Phoenix for a bachelorette party.
Woo!
We're going to get crazy!
She's on the plane.
She's like, you know what?
I'm going to take a nap.
She closes her eyes.
And all of a sudden, she goes into cardiac arrest, starts having a seizure.
And so a flight attendant comes on the intercom.
Do we have any doctors on board?
Luckily, a husband and wife, both doctors on board.
Come back, start doing CPR.
They get the defib.
They're about to shock her when it says, nope, there's a pulse.
CPR worked.
And the girl said she doesn't remember.
She remembers going to sleep and waking up with a doctor holding her hand.
I think it would be easier for me to fly if they did that call when they didn't need a doctor.
Like, is there any doctors on board?
Then you just feel good in case.
Yeah, that should be the call before we go up.
All right, any doctors on board?
There's one there, one there.
All right, I'm good to go.
Like, I would like that.
And then what if Taylor Swift was on that flight?
She will be a doctor soon.
Oh, stop it.
That's true.
Yep.
An honorary doctor.
I mean, when they call for doctors on board, when I'm on board, I just put my head down.
Because I label myself as doctor, but I don't want to get involved.
Oh, my God.
Yeah, but you label and you're not.
Right.
But nobody pays attention to that.
Yeah, nobody looks at that.
Okay.
Nobody.
Okay.
Then why do they have it there when you're buying a plane ticket?
Why do they say?
Maybe so they call you that.
They don't look for all the mistresses and misses.
Exactly, because you're nobody to them.
They're looking for doctors.
Then why would they say there are any doctors on board and not go like,
Dr. Smith, I know you're here somewhere.
Or Dr. Smith and seat four.
It's probably something archaic from back in the day as to why it's there.
It's just your name.
Mr. Jones.
Dr. Jones.
Which gets more respect.
Nobody cares.
Yeah, but they had to divert.
In real life, they care, but not in this situation.
Yeah, and she was okay.
They got her off the plane in Oklahoma City.
She went to the hospital, got checked out.
Good to go.
Yeah, do they keep party?
I don't know if she made the Bachelorette party or not.
All right. That's a good story, though.
That's what it's all about.
That was Tell Me Something Good
So at Six Flags
You can buy this $150 annual dining pass
And so if you have a pass to get in the park for $150
You just eat all you want while you're there
And so he had a pass
And then he bought this dining pass
But he would eat every single meal there
He would go there for lunch every day
He would go there for dinner every day
And sometimes he would have breakfast there
That's awesome
And so it became a story
And then other people started doing it too
And now they've canceled the pass
Oh, no.
Ruined it for everyone.
This guy hilariously ruined it for everybody.
Yeah.
His name's Dylan.
He's an electrical engineer, which is funny because you know he's a smart dude.
He figured out how to beat the system.
Although you have to go to six flags every time and park.
I mean, that sounds.
Oh, my gosh, every day.
That's a lot.
It seems overwhelming.
And how good is the food going to be at Six Flags?
Hey, free is good.
But it's not free.
It's $150.
Oh, true.
But yes.
Everything's fried, obviously.
He figured it out, and now they have said they are canceling the past.
I wonder why I feel so tired all the time.
hilarious.
Oh, no cakes.
We kind of did this with a bouncy place.
Like a couple years ago, we bought a year pass, and the pizza was free every time he did.
So my wife would take the kids three times a week.
The whole year.
Wow.
Yeah.
So, well, now.
Did they even bounce?
They would bounce, sure.
I mean, she would send them out and go eat pizza.
For an hour, eat pizza, come home, get ready for dinner for bed.
Lunchbox would buy the Olive Garden card.
The pasta pass.
Unlimited pasta pass.
And you could go and, I mean, sometimes I would get it just to take it.
and not even eat it.
Well, that's terrible.
Not good.
But it was awesome, guys.
You could go there unlimited times
and get as much pasta as you wanted.
And that was the point, but not to get it
and then not eat it.
So how much was the pot?
Because I bought one, too.
I think I'd get mine to Eddie, but did you ever use it?
Yeah, I did.
Like three times.
Oh, my goodness.
He took a family on the off days.
But I feel like that's what people do.
They're not going to get that pasta pass and go every day, like lunchbox.
But you can go 20 times a year?
Yeah, you can go 20 times.
You went three?
I mean, what a waste.
I mean, you go three times a week.
You're calling me the waste.
You're the one that would order or not eat it.
That's true.
That's true.
Both you guys.
You would give it to someone, right?
Yeah.
No, he's lying.
When you turn around, he would...
When Lunchbox got his vaccination, you went to...
Krispy cream, because you got a donut every single day that you, if you showed you were vaccinated.
So I would drive through Krispy Cream for months.
Just boom, boom, boom, every day.
And, I mean, it's great.
And I would eat it every time.
Why are you winking at me?
He's lying again.
his tone and I would eat it every time.
But just the fact that I could get the free donut.
But why get it if you're not going to eat it?
Why not give it to somebody?
Why not give it to a homeless guy in the corner?
Oh, sometimes I did.
You did?
Yeah.
What about the times you didn't do anything with it?
I didn't see a homeless guy.
So then you...
I just left in my car and then forgot about it threw it away, ate it.
It's still in there.
No, there's nothing still in there.
Anyway, all right, let's go over to Amy and get in the morning corny.
The morning corny!
What's a puppy's favorite kind of pizza?
What's puppies?
Favorite kind of pizza?
Paparoni.
That's like a product.
That's a real thing.
Yeah, it's a dog.
Papparoni is a product.
That was the morning corny.
Okay, so lunchbox got into it with his wife.
What happened?
We had a date night planned.
We were going to go out to dinner, go see a comedian,
had the tickets.
Everything was booked.
the babysitter and then there was severe weather.
The comedian, was it Jim Gaffigan?
Jim Gafferick. So it's a massive comedian.
It wasn't just like going to the comedy club.
Correct. Okay. So bad weather happened.
Bad weather's coming to town and so my wife has what she calls PTSD from the tornado
coming through our neighborhood two years ago.
Okay. And she starts freaking out and goes, I can't go. I canceled the babysitter.
We have to stay home.
How do you feel about that?
I said, you cannot live your life in fear.
we have these tickets, we had this plan,
so I'm going to go, you can come with me or not.
Wow.
You left her at home?
Yes, this guy.
But you did say that she suffers from a level of PTSD.
She starts freaking out.
She has a weather radio now where it sits on our bed
in the middle of the night.
She's really scared.
But he's downplaying it by saying she says she has this.
Right.
You don't sound very supportive.
Well, I'm like,
on. But was the storm still happening when you left, when you, I mean, it was just,
the time frame was it was supposed to be really bad from 6 to 9 p.m. And so the wind was blowing.
It was raining. And you say to her, say it again, I seem to make sure I hear this right.
I said, you can stay here if you want, but I'm going to the show no matter, something like that.
I said, I'm going to go so you can come or you can stay home, basically. And so she didn't
want to go. So she was really
mad at me. So I called up a buddy that
they used to be on my soccer team, said, hey, you want
to go to the game or go to the show? And boom.
I can't. I would never do that. And you went?
And I went to the show. And you had fun?
And you had fun? Did you think about it the whole time? Worried about her,
concern. No, because I would check my phone
or once in a, oh, nothing. All the storm's weakening. The storm's
weakening. And then it just was a rainstorm. But I don't think it was about the storm.
It wasn't. I think the storm's
not the central character. The storm is a side character.
who you're thinking about and worried about,
but the main character is you and your wife
and her being scared and not want to be left alone.
Right, but she could have been with me
if the storm was bad.
She could have been with me at the show.
But she didn't want to be anywhere because of the storm.
So how did she react when you called a buddy
and then you're walking out the door?
Is there any last minute like, hey, you better stay or anything?
It was, are you sure you really want to go?
What if it gets really bad?
It wasn't, are you sure you want to go?
What if I get really mad?
Yeah.
I'm saying.
She was already really mad.
And you still left.
I still left because I was like, look, we have tickets.
We're not just going to waste the tickets.
Were you proving a point at all?
No, it was me just saying you can't live in fear.
I understand there's bad weather, but if we let bad weather, rain, cancel everything, we would never go anywhere.
But I think it's bigger than just living in fear.
Like people that struggle with PTSD.
And listen, I've been jumped at a gun in my head.
I don't like to do things.
I'm scared.
But I don't think it's living in.
I don't think that's just her living in fear.
And I also don't think you just say that and it's fixed.
But my also thing is the odds.
Like Bobby, you say plane crashes.
What are the odds it's going to happen again?
It happened once.
Two years ago, yes, it was.
But you're reasoning with someone who isn't having a reasonable feeling.
Right.
She hasn't.
I let her have the weather radio on our bed.
Like, it wakes me up in the middle of night.
Like, I'm free.
Aside from the storms, I just can't believe you left,
even though she was like, I don't want to go.
I'm scared.
Regardless, if it was a monster, if it was the weather,
I don't matter.
You can go see Jim Gaffigan, like someone at other time.
No, he doesn't come here that often.
That's true.
I know that part's true, but like you could figure it out if you were that big of a fan.
It's almost like going out to see a comedy show was more important than your wife.
And like what she was truly experiencing inside of her body, like anxiety that arises because of a storm,
a severe storm event that she lived through, which was right next to y'all's house.
Like, that was a traumatic event.
Yes.
and I understand that.
And that's why I said, look, if you don't want to go.
But it could have been any trauma.
Right.
It could have been any trauma.
You don't want to go.
That's fine.
But that's what I'm saying.
You would leave her any trauma if you had Jim Gaffigan ticket.
She's like, I'm scared.
I don't want to do it.
Well, I mean, I thought I was sympathetic by saying you don't have to go if you don't want to.
That's sympathetic.
That's not sympathetic.
So I didn't make her go.
I didn't force her to go.
So what's the question here?
So are you on team me or team wife?
Team wife, huh?
Is anybody on his side?
No chance.
I think if you're worried about the tickets, you could, I'm just going to say what you could have done.
Okay.
You could have called your buddy and said, I've got two tickets.
She does it.
She's not in a good place right now emotionally.
I'm going to stay with her.
Can you use these tickets?
I don't want the money to go to waste.
Yeah, I could have.
That's possible.
Yeah.
This is just bigger than the storm to me.
It's your wife saying I don't, I'm not in an emotional place to do this.
Right.
And so that's why I didn't let, I didn't make her go.
She needed you.
What other words?
She's scared at home?
Probably.
Absolutely.
100%.
And I'm sure she didn't want to leave her kids there while she was at a comedy show while there's a storm going through the town.
And why is his response?
Well, guys, I didn't make her go.
Do you make her go?
No, that's what I'm saying.
You guys are like, oh, you were so rude to her.
No.
If I would have been rude to her, I would have said, you're going no matter what.
No, the thing not to be rude would have said, I understand you're struggling with this.
And that's why I did.
No.
And I'm going to stay home with you.
Oh.
I didn't do the back half.
You can be disappointed.
My final point is that it was okay to be disappointed.
But you had to make a decision
to keep her feeling comfortable and loved
while you're disappointed.
Supported, yeah.
Or you go and go to the show
while she stays at home and scared
so you can have your fun
and make sure your money was spent.
Can we all say that he didn't spend money on these things, by the way?
He got this through work for sure.
You're out of your mind.
Are you kidding me?
There's no way he bought these tickets.
So it wasn't even about the money.
Oh my.
Free.
They're free.
It was a hookup.
Oh my good.
Even worse.
But how bad does it look?
If we go to Jim's people like, hey, can I get tickets and they're nice enough to give me tickets and they're not even used to other people?
They don't know who you are.
And Jim's people have no idea.
They're like, okay, cool.
You used the whole thing about money and I gave you a percentage point of, I understand not wanting to waste money.
But I, wow.
I'm on team wife.
Yeah.
Is anyone on Team Lunchbox here?
I bet you, though, we could get some pretty great stories from listeners that had situations like this happen in their life.
Probably.
And it can be husband or wife that gets left behind even when they're like, oh, no, I have the flu.
And they're like, now I'm riding the roller coaster anyway.
Or like women who are, I think of like women giving birth and guys being like, but there's a football game.
Or not that they're playing.
They want to go watch.
I feel like a lot of sporting events are going to come through.
That's all your church.
Okay.
Okay, so you guys can call us 877-77 Bobby.
That's our phone number.
We'd love to hear from you.
All right, we're going to play this now.
You didn't even pay for the tickets.
No.
A second, mind-blung.
Yeah.

All right, here's the nuts and bolts.
Lunchbox had tickets to a comedy show.
There was a tornado happening.
Lunchbox still wanted to go to the comedy show,
even though his wife did not.
She said, I'm scared.
We had a tornado before.
I can't go.
He goes, all right, well, peace out.
I'm going.
Basically, yeah.
Nuts and bolts?
Yeah, nuts and bolts.
A little uncomfortable?
For who?
The house?
Yeah, for the house, yeah.
Okay.
So, let's go over and talk to Tracy in Missouri.
Tracy, you kind of heard the story.
What do you think?
Hi.
You know, I have a problem being on Team Lunchbox all the time, but this time I'm total
team lunchbox.
Yes.
What?
So I'm actually a mental health therapist and I can actually diagnose PTSD.
But lunchbox does not have to live his life in his wife's fear.
And this is actually a really good example of how he can prove to, excuse me, he can prove to his wife that it was a success that he went out, the storm was okay and it was okay for her to go out.
but she chose to not go out.
So we can't live our life in fear.
Yeah, yeah, I agree with that.
But can I say that she was also scared to be at home?
It wasn't just about going out.
She was also scared to be at home alone.
Yeah.
And even being home alone, he should have approached it a little differently.
He should have said, like, you know, would it be okay if I still went?
Like asking sort of permission, giving her the option and then doing whatever she's
said. At lunchbox at any point in time, did she ever say to you, no, do not go. Do not leave me at home.
Oh, she basically said, yeah, I'd prefer you not go. But, and my response was, look, we can't be
living in fear. Like, if you feel more comfortable at home than you do at the comedy show,
then that's on you. Yeah. So fear actually stands for false evidence appearing real. What evidence
do you have that this particular storm is going to harm you?
Well, they had a tornado that hit about a block from their house in the last, what, 18 months?
Yeah.
Tore up the house, literally destroyed the house a block over.
Right.
So, I mean.
But just what you guys were talking about earlier, what are the chances of it happening again?
That's what I said.
That was my point.
Yes, there's like the odds that it's going to go the same path twice in two years.
Come on.
Like, it's not going to happen.
It's actually, it's actually like an evidence-based.
fact that it wouldn't hit her house because of that exact thing.
Well, then, shouldn't we be scared of nothing then?
I mean, car wrecks.
We could just list all, because odds are we're not going to die or get hurt from it.
So why be scared?
You know, jumping out of plane.
I mean, it seems like all fear would be irrational then.
If by her logic, if things probably aren't going to happen based on the statistics of it,
then we should be afraid of nothing.
We should all just run around like Superman.
Right.
So here's part of the problem, though.
How much does fear control your life?
All the way.
Fear can keep you debilitated.
So do you want to be debilitated by your fear?
Yes, ma'am.
Do you want to not live your life?
I like it, how it is.
I'm very scared of everything.
I think we're getting a look inside of how Bobby's like at therapy.
He's challenging his therapist.
No, I do.
I know, I do.
But my only point is if we're going, well, it's probably not going to happen.
We shouldn't be afraid of anything.
Once you should not be afraid of snakes.
Because any snake we've put you near.
hasn't bit you. Not one single snake has bit you. That's true. But the odds are one's going to
bite me then. No, the odds aren't. Yeah, you're going to, you dribble pee just a little bit every time
you see one. Stop. I do. Even on TV. But there's no way that snakes come up to that
screen. So you just learn, don't be scared. Wait, can she say the acronym for fear one more
time? I like that. Yeah, fear is false evidence appearing real. Okay. So it's not a real word?
No, I think that's the dumbest thing I've heard. It's okay to have fear.
Stop. She's not saying you shouldn't have fear.
I like that acronym, though, because that's something we can repeat to ourselves.
When we are having fear, we can remind our brain, okay, false evidence appearing real.
Like, that is helpful.
I like it.
When I have fear, I go, there's danger around. I'm glad I have fear.
Yeah, you should have fear.
Yes, fear is good, but like when it's debilitating.
No further questions.
It's not.
I'm just glad she agrees with me. I'm happy.
She doesn't really, because she said, did your wife say not to go?
and you said, yeah, she basically asked me not to go.
What would she have said if you would have said,
hey, I think she has a great point.
If you had said, hey, do you mind if I go?
What would she have said?
Yeah, I mind if you go.
And then what would you have done?
Well, I got tickets, so I got to use them.
Okay.
But there were free tickets.
Free.
You don't have, okay.
Tracy, what parting thought would you like to leave us with?
Because I really enjoy your perspective here.
Okay.
So with fear, you have two choices.
Here's more acronyms for you, Amy.
Um, with fear, you have two choices.
The first one is face everything and rise.
Or forget everything and run.
Mm.
Yeah, I do that one.
Love that.
Yeah, run.
I like that one.
Listen, I'm scared of everything, but I don't let anything stop me.
I have both.
I'm scared of every single thing, but I will not let fear keep me from doing anything and
haven't and won't.
But I'm, I'm petrified of, I don't like walking out of this room.
I don't like leaving my house.
I don't want to get the car and drive down the road.
That barbecue I mean, probably going to poison me.
I'm scared of it.
Everything.
Well, you're, it sounds like you're paranoid.
Yeah, probably good.
It's probably the next level.
Tracy, thank you.
I don't know that this was a victory for you lunch.
No.
She just said he made the right decision.
It teaches his wife that, hey, you can't live in fear.
Let's ask her.
False evidence appearing real.
Boom.
Hey, nice job.
Yeah.
Wait, fall.
Yeah.
Tracy, he asked his wife and she said no.
So then where do you fall?
You know, I don't know anymore.
Exactly.
No, at the beginning of call, she said Team Lunchbox.
I really am still team lunchbox because we don't want fear to control our lives.
We don't want this.
And you said it was self-diagnosed PTSD.
So lunchbox, I advised her to go get some real help about it so you don't have this situation happen again.
Thank you, Tracy.
I really appreciate that call.
This is a slightly different take on what she's saying.
Fear wasn't controlling her life.
Fear made her one night be scared.
She's not leaving the house every day.
day. She's not leaving the house every time there's a storm.
Right. This is one time where it was very
similar to the last time and she was scared
and just someone wanted, she just wanted someone to be with her
one time. Like her husband. One time.
Right, that'd be cool. And then they have kids that she was
going to have to leave behind with a sitter to go
to the show and she didn't want to leave her kids.
If this was every time a storm happened,
you would go like, yes, we're going to work through this
and not be scared of this, but it was
one time. She wanted
just her husband to be there with her.
And she even asked him.
Please stay. And he said no.
I said, no, I got free tickets.
I got tickets.
I'm going to lie to the show until I bought them.
But I really got them for free.
But how's the show?
It was really funny.
I never said I bought him.
I said I had to.
You let us to believe.
You were like you can't let him go.
No, you're the only one that fell for that, Bobby.
Really?
I feel like we were all like, why is he making this big deal about the tickets?
Did you guys know he got free tickets?
No, but I just assumed he gets everything for free.
He doesn't pay for anything.
I respect that, though.
Thank you.
I respect that.
All right, listen, thank you for the calls.
Thank you for calling us to Tracy.
Love it when someone who knows what they're talking about.
Yeah.
Calls and talks.
It's awesome.
It's time for the good news.
With Bobby.
Tell me something good.
A South Carolina FedEx driver rescues a child from a car accident.
That's the headline.
His name is Damien Rose.
He's working, driving around, finishing up his shift.
And he was headed to return to his truck when he saw smoke ahead.
and he's like, man, I guess I should pull up there and just see.
But how many times do we see smoke and it's like purposefully a little fire or controlled?
So we knew right away when he got to it, it was an accident.
He jumped out and he saw someone yelling, get the kid, get the kid.
So his mind just clicked into overdrive.
He ran to one of the vehicles, reached in, pulled a little boy from the car seat.
And that, what that is even unbuckling.
Oh, that's hard.
Right.
Yeah.
So he does that, holds the kid, waits for the,
emergency crew arrived and that car, it didn't blow up like in the movies, but it did catch
on fire.
Wow.
And had he not been there to actually rescue the kid, who knows what would happen.
Yeah, it's awesome.
But also, the big story here is that he drove to smoke.
I don't know that I want to.
I've just been like somebody cooking something.
Would you know what to do if you try to get a child out of a car seat?
Yeah.
You know the buckles?
No, I would go, how do I get a kid out of the car seat?
Exactly.
Is anyone not walking car seat?
Or what I think I would do is probably grab the seat.
belt, the big one that's probably holding the whole thing.
He's carried a whole seat. That's what I would do.
I don't know how to do all that stuff.
That's a great story. That's what it's all about.
That was tell me something good.

The most important segment of
Today, it's time for your big stories.
Bobby's Big.
Stories.
A woman in Ohio bit a pit bull to save her own dog during an attack.
Ooh.
I just think I could do more damage with other things.
Yeah, like your fist.
Instead of biting.
But I get it.
She said she had no choice.
Both she and her dog were injured, but they will both be okay.
The owner of the pit bull has been arrested.
So to bite a news isn't dog bites man.
News is when man bites dog
Yeah.
Correct.
That's a very old ad is a new people used to say.
So she said she had no choice but to take extraordinary measures.
The unusual situation began to unfold Monday morning when the 52-year-old let her two dogs out in the backyard.
Just minutes later, her 12-year-old Eskimo-Pomeranian mix named Kevin was being mauled by a dog that broke loose from a tether that was tied a couple blocks away.
She tried to pry the pit bulls grip loose and use her entire body.
She'll the dog from the attack to know of a veil.
She kept, she kept, she kept.
And then she jumped down and bit the dog's ear and rip part of it off of their teeth.
Quick thinking.
Primal.
Yeah.
What I don't like about this story is I feel like they take the opportunity to go pit bull, pit bull, pit bull.
I don't like that one bit.
I think this was a mistreated dog that was tied up somewhere that reacted in a way that it had been bred and trained to act.
Well, clearly the owner's been arrested.
Yes, it could have been any dog.
Yeah.
And I don't think pit bull.
are inherently bad dogs. I had one myself loved it. Greatest dog ever had, except for Stanley and
Eller now. But that part annoys me, but good for her for saving her dog. That's from WKBN News.
In sports last night, Kansas beat North Carolina for the 2022 NCAA Minch Championship.
We have a whole studio full of Kansas fans, which is annoying. Lunchbox.
Oh, it feels great. Feels great today. Abby went to Kansas from Kansas. Abby, how did it feel?
Amazing.
What would you have done if you were in school and this happened?
Oh, my gosh.
Well, I would have been on Mass Street.
That's like the main street.
Or I would have watched it at like Allen Fieldhouse, which is where they play because it was crazy.
Were you sad you couldn't be there?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Kind of wish I would have.
She asked me if she could get off work today, but it was too late.
She did?
Yeah.
And you know what?
If I would have seen that earlier, I would have let you be off work.
What?
What in the world?
Are you serious?
Yeah.
Why?
If she wanted to go.
She went to school there.
Oh, I thought you meant just because...
Oh, no.
I would have been completely cool with that.
But congratulations, guys.
Thank you.
Thank you.
It feels good.
I went to Abby's profile.
Because Morgan went to Kansas State.
Yes.
Opposite school.
Yeah.
And Abby went to Kansas.
And so I went to Abby's to make sure, and it said Jayhawk for life.
And I was like, all right.
That's the right one.
By the way, next year, Duke is the favorite to win at all.
Then North Carolina, Kansas, Kentucky.
Kentucky Gonzaga, then Arkansas, I'd sleep that there.
Oh, I'd have to throw that one in there.
Congratulations, all you can, all you Kansas fans, we have a lot of Kansas listeners as well.
So I love that for you guys.
And Kansas isn't annoying, you know?
Duke's annoying.
Kansas isn't annoying.
I have no problem.
I love it.
Good, good, good.
Good job, coach self.
At the beginning of this segment, you said we have a lot of Kansas fans here, which is annoying.
No, it's annoying that everybody else gets to win around me.
I never get to.
Yeah, we're in a very good.
Kansas fans are good.
They're not annoying.
They're great.
Just tracking that.
Just in general.
Ours are, but generally.
Ratings for Sunday's
Grammys were only slightly better
than last year's, which last years were
the lowest of all time.
So I think the slap saved them
from being in the last, last, last, last place.
Ooh, because people were like thinking
wonder what's going to happen here.
Yeah, I turned it on.
Really? Thinking that?
I wanted to see if Will Smith won
what his speech would be.
You know, because I don't watch the Grammy.
Nobody watches. That's Oscars.
Yeah, that's Oscars.
I'm so confused on these shows.
Too many awards shows.
No more award shows until like October.
I'm out. No award shows till fall. I can't even keep them apart.
The Grammys, what happened to the Grammys? Those are different.
Nothing. The Grammys are the music.
I know that. Amy.
People may be...
You don't have to explain.
Well, people may be tuned in more so to the Grammys because the award show at the Oscars is a little controversial, obviously.
So who knows what might happen there?
Yeah, I don't think that affected them.
Well, then, I don't know. Why did it go up?
I don't think it went up. I think it was just slightly better than last year.
I don't think there was a bump. I'm thinking of the Oscars.
Okay.
who same thing, I think, was the second worst of all time.
And I think that bump, bump the Oscars.
I think nobody cares about things anymore.
We don't, we don't hate them.
We just have our own crap to do.
We have our own shows to watch.
And unless somebody's going to do something different, we don't care.
Keep having the same people, do the same things and the same award shows.
You know what's going to happen?
They're going to keep going down because we have more options.
What I would do is I would design a show like this.
I would start the show.
I'd tell a couple jokes, but I would play, I would do a game.
we'd start off with a ski ball with Al Dean
Oh wow
And I'd have a fan up there
And Al Dean's playing ski ball
And if he can hit 250
This fan wins a thousand bucks
Before we go to our first award
You don't tell me if you're bringing a fan up there
And it's funny because Al Dean's doing it
He can't play ski ball
What's he doing?
His cowboy hats in the way
His earrings are dangling
His elbow keeps hitting him
And you're telling me
There's a fan
Standing beside him
Watching him play ski ball
For money so they can pay their car
Off
That you wouldn't be watching that
before you get to an award, then a performance,
and then you're teasing the whole time.
Coming up, Derek Spentley is in the dunk tank.
Oh my gosh, what's so crazy is before you said that,
I was picturing Dirks in a dunk tank.
You need something to get...
Well, then it has to happen.
And yes, that seems a little bit trivial,
but you got to do something to take people
and move them from this quarter hour
to the next quarter hour.
Meaning you got to...
So coming up in 12 minutes,
nobody cares that somebody's going to perform.
We've seen these performances,
thousand times by the same exact people.
Award shows.
Literally no one cares.
However, how we make them care again is by
moving... Oh man, I would design
the greatest award show. And then when it
fell miserably, I'd be like, I told you guys, this is crazy.
What about like a wipeout
obstacle court with like...
You could, but nobody would get hurt.
Artists aren't going to do that.
Okay.
So, let me...
I'd like to do...
Never mind.
Okay.
Okay, well, Gramie's sucked.
Moving on.
Scientists to broadcast...
A broadcast...
I mean a drink of water.
I got a little tangent.
I've never heard you do that.
Ever?
Ever?
No, a little dry there.
Scientists to broadcast Earth's location to aliens
ignoring Stephen Hawking's warning.
Scientists have designed a radio message to be beamed into deep space
that is meant to be received,
and they hope, understood by...
intelligent alien civilization.
This is all you.
Is the dumbest thing I've ever heard of.
Oh.
There is no reason to go and tickled aliens cooter, you know?
In case he's out there or she's out there.
There's no reason to do that.
It?
Yeah.
He's she, whatever.
I don't know what aliens are.
They probably don't have sexes like us.
Can you just stick to like the poking the alien?
But there's no need to rile them up if they are there.
Right.
Let them be.
It's just like annoying them.
I'm not touching you.
I'm not touching you.
Like my kids do all the time.
Maybe the aliens are like, fine, you're not touching me.
And they continue with their life.
But do you think the ones that come here and fly around that there are people back home where they are like, why are you going to Earth?
Why are you poking?
No, it was a mission.
A mission for what?
Okay, you guys are crazy.
If they're here, it was a real life.
Or they're bored.
And what are you doing your board?
You destroy.
We just shouldn't be doing this.
What if it strikes up a friendship?
Okay, I would rather just not strike up.
anything. Yeah, I agree with that.
And by the way, nothing's probably going to
happen here. They're probably going to be any alien.
Here's it probably any alien out there. But you can't
say there ain't. Next up. A hot air balloon ride turns into a nightmare
for passengers. A dramatic video shows a group of hot air balloon adventurers in
California. The trip went south when winds kicked up. One of the pastures begins recording
video of the incident as the winds send the balloon and basket hurling to the ground.
Crazy. The basket drags across the dirt.
They guide yells for everyone to hang on. Somehow, they did. No one was
injured. Wow. That's from ABC 7.
That video's crazy. Sounds like a
nightmare. You saw the video?
Some of it, yeah. And it was very terrifying.
And I was like, well, there goes that, not getting in a hot
air balloon. You can't let that scare you.
Correct. Because if that happened, I mean, the next one won't happen to you,
according to the theory.
Smart lady. I don't want to do it, though.
My hero.
I rarely get to talk about my heroes here.
The birth of a child is an exciting
time for a lot of couples, obviously. But it can
be very long and strenuous, and that's when my hero comes in.
One dad to be came up with a solution.
took his entire gaming console to the hospital
and set it all up. Oh my gosh.
That's crazy.
And annoying.
His partner, Amber, was in labor for 21 hours.
Amber shared footage of her partner with
the back
and the headphones on.
He's gaming.
I mean, it's practical.
Quote, my boyfriend brought his entire gaming system
with the hospital during my 21-hour-long induction.
That's from the mirror.
hilarious.
And I have a feeling if I did that, the console will be burned
when we got home.
You'd be burned.
Yeah.
By the time you got home.
All right.
That's the stories.
Thank you.
Those were Bobby's big.
Stories.
I do want to talk to a different therapist that's on the phone regarding our last
second.
Yes.
The segment about 25 minutes ago was Lunchbox and his wife got in a huge fight.
There was a tornado back in Lunchbox's neck of the woods.
And his wife was scared because they'd had a tornado like 18 months or so ago.
Yeah, right through our neighborhood.
completely destroyed part of Lunchbox's neighborhood.
And it was the first real one that was close to them since then.
But Lunchbox had tickets to a comedy show.
And he's like, I'm going to the show with or without you.
So he went to the show, left her home scared.
Yeah, didn't force her to go.
But she asked you to stay home because she was scared.
Yeah, but I asked her to go to the show.
Okay.
So Angelica, what would you...
Oh, here she is.
Angelica, what would you like to say?
Hi.
So I am on team wife.
And this is why.
I was listening to the other therapist,
talk about why she was on team wife.
box and I kind of get it, I guess.
But the thing is about PTSD is nobody can understand it unless they've been through it,
unless they're actually dealing with it themselves.
And his wife, whether he thinks it's an irrational fear or not, it's not to her.
And I get it.
He didn't ask her to go, but he could have very well.
He should have stayed home with her because it has nothing to do about, well, I didn't
make her go.
It was she needed her husband there.
People with PTSD, they don't have the ability to think rationally.
about their fear.
And so to her it was a very rational fear.
And she felt like,
she probably feels like she was alone
because her husband wasn't supportive of her.
So that's where I stand on it.
I was a little shocked by the other therapist.
Like I said, I get it.
But as a therapist myself, I'm like,
no, I disagree.
I'm on team wife because nobody can understand
unless they actually have been through it themselves.
And, you know, and so.
We're doing a little dancer, a little word.
Dance. Yeah, yeah.
Listen, thank you.
I agree.
I think it was more than a comedy show or a tornado.
I think it was some person going, hey, would you mind just being with me?
And that was it.
I think it's that.
We isolate that.
Like support that right there.
And to be fair, the previous therapist did eventually shift a little bit once.
She realized that Lunchbox said, would you like for me to stay home or whatever?
And his wife was like, yes, I want you to stay home.
And then he still left.
But then that therapist shifted back to lunch.
box when the client did.
Oh, really?
The weird way, yeah.
Yeah, it's kind of.
Totally hot.
All right.
Hold on to your pants.
Ready for this one?
Yeah, holding.
Morgan Hellquist is 36 years old.
She said she screamed and sobbed, according to this article from the New York Post,
and nearly crashed her car because she learned that her gynecologist was actually her
biological father.
Oh.
And he knew it.
Huh?
You're all known to your pants.
He knew it.
What? And he still did that?
Why?
The same gynecologists that fitted her for an IUD and had given her breast and pelvic examinations for years.
No, no, no, no, no, no.
She's suing, according to the article, Dr. Morris Wartman, an upstate OBGYN, based in Rochester, for regularly acting as her physician while allegedly knowing he was her father.
Her lawsuit, which was filed in September, and seeks unspecified damages, also charges him with medical malpractice, lack of informed consent.
consent, battery, fraud, negligence, and infliction of emotional distress.
She claims the doctor, whom her family once revered as a miracle worker, underhandedly
inseminated her unsuspecting mother.
I mean, it gets worse.
If Netflix doesn't do a series on this.
Wow, this is terrible.
Because they're doing series on everything that's kind of weird now.
This is the weirdest I've ever heard.
Back in 1985, this happened as a result of the alleged semen scam, she was born.
Her mom feels so violated.
Yeah.
Apparently, they sought fertility help in the mid-80s.
After a drunk driver smashed Gary, I'm assuming he's the dad's motorcycle, he was a paraplegic at age 20.
The couple who were high school sweethearts agreed to pay Warpon $50 three times per month in exchange for an anonymous University of Rochester Medical Center student sperm.
Except for her. It was his.
Yeah.
And Hellquist, who at age eight learned that she was conceived through the help of a sperm donor, grew up praising Warpman for helping her parents start their family.
Oh, my gosh.
And he, this all is awkward, sad.
Terrible, tragic.
Make you angry.
What's, what's going to happen with this guy?
Well, he probably got to lose his license.
If they investigate and it is all true.
No, no, I'm saying it, the probably part is they've got to investigate.
Confirm everything.
There are no little loopholes he's able to get out of.
This is just one perspective, which to me it feels like the perspective, but you got to treat it.
like you do any other story.
But if this is the case, this is the most bizarre version of this that I've ever heard.
And sometimes there are doctors who like go give their seem to 100 people.
Right.
And they have kids everywhere.
And they think they're getting up from all these different people, but it's just the doctor.
But this is the one.
This is the kicker.
This is the top of the pyramid.
Remember the food chart at the very top of the pyramid?
Yes.
This is that one at the very top.
I know.
And then as this unfolds, I wonder how many other children he has out there.
Is this the only one that he's the only one that he's the one?
done this too? That to me though isn't as weird as
he continued to be
that's what I mean. There might be more.
You think he just is the gyno to all the kids?
That's his whole practice. That's all of his clients? Oh my God.
That is a bizarre story.
I mean one time I ran into my gynaecologist at a barbecue
and I nearly lost it. It's different.
What? Yeah, it's very different. I know it's very different. I'm not even trying
to make it the same but like if I felt even teeny tiny
awkward there to now know this
that would be mind blowing.
Ugh.
Thank you, Amy.
You're welcome.
I don't even know how that related.
Georgette.
Georgeette in Texas is on the phone.
Hey, Georgette, thank you for calling.
What's going on?
Good morning.
I was kind of curious about the creepy doll, the crying baby.
Great.
Segway, because let's do it.
Stay on the phone, Georgette.
I would love for you to be a part of this segment.
So, Lunchbox has the creepy baby, the haunted doll we bought off eBay.
He's headed his house for like four days now.
but we gave you a challenge yesterday.
Yeah, I had to go back and talk to the doll.
Not just talk.
Yeah, like, say a, had a phrase,
and if you want me to read it word for word.
Yeah, go ahead.
It said, let me see here.
It said,
if there are any spirits in there,
make yourself known now.
Give me a sign, you stupid doll.
Curse me if you may for 30 days.
Where is the doll in your house?
He was in the living room at this point.
Oh, my God.
In the middle of the house?
What you have in the living room?
I'm in the closet, dude.
Well, I thought you guys...
No, I'm glad you do. We're glad you do, but there's no chance.
It would be in the living room in my house.
We have audio of Lunchbox doing this.
Yeah.
There's my wife being the photographer.
So, Lunchbox for $15 did this right here.
Okay, crying boy.
I just want you to know that I had to do this because I'm getting paid.
I'm not really like trying to mess with you.
I ain't trying to call you out, but I got chilling.
chills on my arms because I'm a little nervous.
Here we go.
If there are any spirits in there,
make yourself known now.
Give me a sign, you stupid doll.
I don't really mean you're stupid.
Curse me if you may for only 30 days.
I said, if there are any spirits in there,
make yourself known now.
Give me a sign, you stupid doll.
Curse me if you may.
Okay.
What?
For 30 days!
I meant to screw my life up.
Why did you do it twice?
I thought you were possessed then.
I thought you were possessed then.
I thought a doll hopped into you right then.
What happened?
Why did you do it again?
Well, I just wanted to make sure that you guys did, oh, you didn't do it right,
so I just wanted to cover my bases and make sure I did it twice.
Huh.
Okay, so you made $15.
Yeah.
Has anything happened in your house?
Man, it went downhill yesterday.
So, did that.
Then I take the kids, we take the kids apart, come back.
and my dog, I mean, I don't know what,
had like a little growth underneath on the bottom
and ripped it open and so there's blood all over my health.
Oh, that's creepy.
What if the doll did it?
Like, literal, like it looked like a murder scene.
That's creepy.
Blood everywhere.
And I'm like, he has had that growth under there for years.
It's just like a little skin tag.
And I don't know what happened, but I said that to the doll.
Literally, we go to the park, an hour and a half later, come back.
Boom.
Blood everywhere.
I spent like an hour cleaning up blood all over the floor on the couch.
It's terrible.
April 4th was the day yesterday he called for the curse.
So let's keep track until May 4th.
Are you looking at pictures?
Yeah, well, here's just some blood.
The blood right when we walk in the door, Mike.
A few drops of blood.
It's definitely not a blood bath, but a few drops of blood.
I mean, literally, right when you walk in the door, dude.
So do you think the dog has something to do with that?
Yes.
Anything else happened?
No, that was pretty, that was it for the most of them.
Kansas won the national championship.
So, oh, I mean, that was, listen, I wanted to do it after the game,
but then I was like, the kids are going to be asleep.
And so I have to do this before.
So I had to do it before the kids went to bed.
So I thought it was going to screw my whole night up.
But luckily, the doll.
You didn't have to yell it at the doll.
Maybe the doll couldn't get down to New Orleans in time, the spirits.
So the next challenge that I'm going to give you, you made $15 in that one.
You can make $20 on this next one.
It's going to go up a little bit.
Let me see.
You can pick from which one you do.
Okay.
Number one, going to the bathroom and turn off the lights.
Record yourself standing in front of the mirror in a darkened room with a candle.
You have to hold the doll and spin around three times saying Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary.
Okay.
What are we 12?
Yeah, you want to do it?
That was scary.
Yeah, it was.
Is it not scary at 40?
No.
So you'll do it?
I don't have the doll.
Oh, see?
I'll answer the question.
Okay, that's the first option.
How much?
How much?
How much?
I'll talk Eddie on there.
Oh, it's not scary.
Oh, you want to do it?
Five bucks to 20 bucks.
So it's 20 bucks that's this.
Stand in front of the doll,
candle in the bathroom,
three times spin around,
a doll in your arm, bloody married.
Okay.
We need video.
So in the movie Child's play,
there is a chant
used by Chucky
to transfer spirits
into different living vessels.
So you put your hand on the doll's head
and you record this voodoo chant.
Ah dee do we demela.
Give me the power
I beg of you.
Hey, do Dumbala.
Give me the power, I beg of you.
Oh, my goodness.
That's the next one.
And then finally,
I have three options.
Your other option is,
sleep with the doll.
Oh.
And tell it to send you a message at night.
Oh, my goodness.
Before you go to sleep,
of course, saying, hey, I know you're in there being the crying boy.
Let your presence be known.
If you get scared, just start crying, and I'll come help.
But you can't be like, hey, buddy, I'm just kidding.
You got to embrace this one.
Would you do any of those for 20 bucks?
Yeah, I mean 20 bucks. I gotta do something.
The last one.
Probably the bloody merry one's the easiest one.
Probably the bloody merry one's easiest one.
All right. Bring that in tomorrow.
When you do, I'll pay your 20 bucks.
Okay, I'll pay it to you before.
Thank you.
Okay.
That was easy.
Well, I wouldn't get, I mean, it wouldn't have got done because I know how that works.
We only got a couple more days left.
He's bringing it all back in Thursday.
Yeah, so we're going to up the price a little bit.
It'll be up for the next day.
Yeah, like 100.
Why I lick the spoon when you can drink the whole cup.
It's indulgence.
Straight from the mixing bowl with Sonic brownie batter and yellow cake batter shakes.
Hand-mixed and made with 100% real ice cream for a limited time and only at Sonic.
Mike, how does this game work?
Oh, Mike's microphone's on it. There we go.
The loser has to pick a cup here on the table.
One of them has sour cream.
The other four have yogurt.
And you have to eat the whole thing.
The whole thing.
The whole thing.
So there are.
So you have a 20% chance you have to eat a full cup of sour cream.
20% chance.
It's a bite.
No, I'll buy it.
That's easy.
And I don't even like sour cream.
Okay.
So, or I'll let you negotiate when you're up to.
Oh, we can actually negotiate something too.
Okay, so it's yogurt or sour cream.
The loser of the last draft has to do this.
The draft was our favorite bald people, and number one was Ray Mundo.
Yeah!
Nice job, Ray.
You.
Also, not last.
Bobby.
Oh.
Good job.
Thank you.
By the way, Ray had the Rock, Bruce Willis, and Mike Tyson with a big win.
Good job.
I had Kenny Chesney, Michael Jordan, and Eddie.
Nice.
Yeah, you're welcome.
Probably saved you, dude.
He didn't say thank you.
You're welcome.
The next person, not in last place.
Lunchbox.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Eat it.
Sour cream?
I'm nervous.
Eat that.
There are only two people up for this because Eddie didn't play.
Correct.
Morgan and Amy are up to eat the cup
Morgan you can eat that right?
Yeah, I can eat that.
Morgan's vegan.
Vegetarian.
So Morgan had Samuel L. Jackson, Pitbull, and John Travolta.
Bad list.
Amy had, Vin Diesel, Mr. Clean, and Jada Pinkett Smith.
Oh, no.
It's Amy.
It has to be Amy.
It's got to be Amy.
They were separated by less than one percentage point.
Okay.
Morgan?
Yeah?
You're safe.
Oh, no.
All right, Amy, we have a big table set up.
Now, let's not look in the cups quite yet.
Can you tell by looking?
They all look at the same.
Okay, then you can look at it.
But don't smell.
That's key.
Hey, she's known to smell.
Don't smell.
Okay.
Amy, I'll walk up to the mic, please.
I will give you a couple options.
You can either eat the whole cup of the one that you picked.
There are five cups up there.
Mm-hmm.
or you can eat three bites, three big bites, but you have to pick two cups.
Oh, I like that.
That's better, Amy.
Yeah, that's definitely better.
Yeah, I'll take that one.
Okay.
Three big bites.
So you have to go full spoon in, it's got to be a good spoonful.
Are you ready?
Which cup would you like to pick first?
Okay.
I'm going to go with cup number three, please.
All right, get you a big bite there.
Okay.
Is it yogurt or something?
sour cream. Big bite, big bite, there it is. Is that big?
Don't smell it. Don't smell it. It's okay. It's okay. It's okay. It's okay. Because then it's not
surprise. No, it smells the same. I honestly smelled it and I have no idea. Okay, go ahead. That's a bummer.
That's yogurt. Honestly, I don't know.
All you're good. That's yogurt. That one's yogurt. Is it yogurt? Yeah, you don't have to eat three bites. It's yogurt. Oh.
I love sour cream though. She's no smelling. Okay, no smelling. Okay.
You have one more cup to choose from. Is it yogurt or sour cream? Okay. I'm a go
number four.
All right, three big bites.
Here we go.
I need big bites.
There it is.
Go.
That's sour cream.
Oh!
One bite.
It is?
Oh, no.
Don't puke.
Don't puke.
There's one.
Oh, she's shaking.
The depressing part is.
I'm just not going to be able to finish my coffee now.
Why?
Because I can't go from eating sour cream to coffee.
All right.
Second big bite, Amy.
We're eating sour cream.
Go, go, go.
Oh.
Okay.
Oh. Where's the trash can, Mike?
She's fine.
She loves sour cream.
I'm just, because I do. I love it. I'm eating it on a taco.
Oh, is that what you're...
Big bite. Last bite.
To fix your end. Is that good?
Yeah, that's good.
Here she goes.
Okay. Here she goes. Here she goes. And enter.
Eat it. Oh, she's dry heaving.
Hold on. Come on, Amy.
Eat it. Eat it.
Oh, and there she goes in her mouth.
Oh, her shoulders are shaking.
Okay. I did it.
Swallow.
Oh, she's going to puke.
She's now hunched over.
I did it.
Okay, there she is.
Nice job, baby.
Oh, she's...
Am I done?
Yeah, you can wattle.
Is there like crackers or a muffin?
A baked potato?
You can leave.
Something?
You can leave.
You can go to you drink water.
That's awesome.
I'm glad we did add the extra cup.
Yes.
Oh, my gosh.
Oh, she's sitting down with us.
Okay, have a drink coffee.
See what that tape.
I can not.
You know when you do brush your teas and orange juice?
Oh, that's so gross.
I've always wondered.
Sour cream and coffee.
Give it a try.
I've never wondered with this, actually.
Okay.
There she goes.
This is not seem appetizing at all.
You got it.
There she is, drink.
Yeah, not good.
I didn't think so.
What does it taste like?
Like a sour cream latte.
Now I want to Starbucks best sellers.
No, no, no.
Hey, I want to just mention this and give you the update here.
We talked about, I mean, it's three weeks or so ago, when we were doing our brackets
and everybody fills out a bracket and,
Eddie's all that his sons got into one
and they don't know anything of a basketball
but they all got into one and put in how much
you let them gamble. $20 entry.
You let your kids gamble on this.
It's kind of a lesson of like all right
this is how it works. You put $20.
Hey, you can win up to $500.
Right, well you can be that drum roll again.
Eddie?
Did you win the bracket?
I did not win the bracket.
It's probably the hundredth bracket I filled out in my lifetime.
Never won one.
What was the grand prize?
$500. 500 big ones.
Okay.
And the update is?
The little boys, they split a bracket.
They didn't win.
Okay.
My 14-year-old, he had his own bracket.
Does he know anything of basketball?
He watches every now and then, but just kind of because I have it on TV at the house, but no, he doesn't watch.
And so he filled out his bracket.
He won the whole thing.
This is the second bracket he's ever filled out in his life, and he won $500.
That's amazing.
Unbelievable.
Can you believe it?
I mean, I was like, what?
Dude, you know what?
My son, he tries so hard at things.
And I feel like he just kind of is so hard at himself sometimes.
And when he won this, the joy in his face was so, so.
I mean, he had the biggest smile.
He couldn't believe it.
And then he goes, Dad, I mean, I'll be honest with you, I kind of knew that I was in.
And I was like, dude, you keep telling yourself that because you deserve it.
I was talking, Eddie's son was over at the house last Friday.
We were watching movies.
And I was like,
What's going to happen?
He goes, well, I need Duke to lose.
And they did, and I was like, oh, my God.
And Eddie was like, yeah, he just won the whole racket.
Just won the whole bracket.
Yeah.
Crazy.
All right, here's the thing, Bones.
Okay, go ahead.
It's $500.
I'm going to let him keep $100, and then I'm going to put $400 in savings for him.
I would say let him keep a little more than that.
$150?
I would say $200.
What?
40% is not.
He's 14, boss.
It doesn't matter.
He won.
He's going straight to the ice cream shop.
That's great.
He won this?
He's going to buy ice cream for all his friends.
He used his own money?
Yes, it's his own money.
I think taking 60% of it and putting it away is fine.
Do you remember when we were in Vegas and I won 800 bucks and I bought everyone's shots
and then I had nothing when I went home?
Like that's going to happen to him with ice cream.
That's okay and he'll learn a lesson from it.
But what about the parent tax?
Like you get a cut too.
No, no cut for me.
I would give a, it's not even half.
I'd give them 40%.
Because if you went 500 and dad gives you a hundred,
that's amazing.
Yeah.
Better than what he started.
I'm telling you, it's a bit disappointing.
Okay.
Is it though?
Yes, it is.
Not to a 14.
Yes, when you win 500 and you're only given $100?
No, no, he won 500.
Yes.
It's his.
It's just, you have 100.
I would love to have 200.
And then if he blows at all, that's on him.
He's going to.
That's amazing.
I love it.
Thank you.
Bobid Bones show.
Bonehead.
Story up the day.
This story comes with us from Cumberton, Louisiana.
A 27-year-old woman was released from jail on theft and drug charges.
About an hour later, she's walking, and there's a red Camaro.
And it's running, sitting in front of apartment complex.
she's like, man, I got to get that red Camaro.
How do you not?
You know?
And so police got called of a stolen car.
High-speed chase.
She wrecks it and arrested back to jail.
I wonder if she wanted to be in jail.
Maybe.
Or she just couldn't help herself.
It's one of the two.
One hour, man.
Yeah, one hour, though.
I mean, I think it's just that red Camaro.
Camaro's are cool looking.
I don't know that a red cam...
Did they even make new Camaro?
Yes, my mother-in-law has a new red Camaro.
I think they're discontinuing them after this year, I believe,
something like that. They're starting to go away.
I don't know anything about cars. And Camaro's, I think of like...
Fast.
No, I think of like songs from the 80s.
Van Halen and stuff.
Like Top Gun soundtrack.
Yes. So back in the day, my mother-in-law had one of those, an older Camaro.
And when my husband was 16, he ended up in a high-speed chase.
Exactly.
Because of the... He was going too fast in the Camero.
Right.
And he won. They never caught him. So then he got to be a free pass into the military.
He got caught.
Oh, he did.
And he had to go before a judge and beg for mercy.
Oh, okay.
You have a clip of that?
No.
Ray played that clip.
All right, Lunchbox.
I'm Lunchbox.
That's your Bonehead story of the day.
So there's a movie called C-O-D-A.
It's on Apple Plus.
It won Best Picture at the Oscars.
Wasn't even in theaters, which is pretty crazy.
And Mike D. said, you're going to love it.
And I haven't had time to watch it yet.
I'm not even sure what it's about.
But Eddie watched it, and you said you loved it too.
It is fantastic.
What's it about?
It's so good.
So Coda stands for child of deaf adults.
So it's about a girl who has deaf parents, but she can hear.
And she has a dream.
And it's so hard to live her life when she is all her parents have.
She's their interpreter.
She signs everything for them.
They have a business.
She needs to kind of be there for them.
They're both deaf?
They're all deaf.
Her mom, her dad, and her brother.
Wow.
Yes.
So she has to be there for the family.
But she has dreams.
She wants to like go and do things.
And her parents like, you can't go.
You're all we have.
Oh my gosh.
As a parent.
I mean, I cried.
I cried and I cried after the movie was over.
If I wasn't a parent, I would say,
hey, it's a pretty good movie. Like, I really liked it.
Storyline was great, but as a parent, dude, it destroyed me.
It's so good.
You're not a parent. You thought it was great, huh?
Yeah, still emotional, even if you're not a parent.
I'm a human.
Eddie's like, if you're not going to understand raw emotion.
I could see how it would hit you on a different level,
but you don't have to be.
Yeah.
Okay, and you give it what, Eddie?
Oh, I give it four and a half fishing boats out of five.
Mike, what'd you give it?
I gave it four out of five.
And so you can watch it on Apple Plus, so you have to have Apple Plus.
Yes.
Who did you watch it with?
My wife.
Did she cry?
Yes, we both cried.
Who cried more?
She did.
I mean, she was crying for like two hours.
You said you cried and cried and cried and cried.
You said you cried and cried and cried and cried.
But who cried more?
Oh, my wife, for sure.
I stopped crying.
And so who comforts who?
We comfort each other and then I comfort her because she was still crying, you know?
Yeah.
You guys know what you mean, buddy?
So you guys really like Coda.
It's so good.
Okay, I may have to put that on the old list.
Yes.
I keep going, I'm going to watch it if I get some time, but I guess I need to really make some time.
Make a priority at a watching.
Yes.
Have a great day.
We'll see you tomorrow.
Goodbye, everybody.
