Starting point is 00:00:00 This is an I-Heart podcast. Guaranteed human. A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care what you're saying. Yep, that's me. Clifford Taylor the 4th. You might have seen the skits,
Starting point is 00:00:13 my basketball and college football journey, or my career in sports media. Well, now I'm bringing all of that excitement to my brand new podcast, the Clifford Show. This is a place for raw, unfiltered conversations with athletes, creators, and voices that not only deserve to be heard, but celebrated.
Starting point is 00:00:28 So let's get to it. Listen to the Clifford show on the IHard Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. And for more behind the scenes, follow at Clifford and at TikTok podcast network on TikTok. When a group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist, they take matters into their own hands. I vowed. I will be his last target. He is not going to get away with this. He's going to get what he deserves. We always say that trust your girlfriends.
Starting point is 00:00:59 Listen to the girlfriends. Trust me, babe. On the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. What's up, everyone? I'm Ego Vodam. My next guest, it's Will Ferrell. My dad gave me the best advice ever. He goes, just give it a shot.
Starting point is 00:01:22 But if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit. If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration. It would not be on. a calendar of, you know, the cat. Just hang in there. Yeah, it would not be. Right, it wouldn't be that. There's a lot of luck.
Starting point is 00:01:43 Listen to thanks, Dad, on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hey, welcome a Tuesday show. Morning, studio. Morning. All right, let's go around the room and check in with everybody. A dad of four who likes the Cowboys is a way to describe him and his recent workouts have had him looking slim. It's producer ready. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:14 All right, I want to ask you guys a question. Would you get a tattoo at a party? If it was a free tattoo artist, it's free. You're at a party, would you get one? Yeah. Maybe. You would? Yeah. Maybe.
Starting point is 00:02:27 It just depends who, yes. It depends who it is. But it's not like your choice. They have like, you know, 10. No, no, it has to be the choice. No, no, they have 10 like on a board. Like, you choose from this 10. No.
Starting point is 00:02:36 Well, that's different. Yeah, that's way different. If it's like, hey, we'll do a small tattoo of your choice. And because I already have tattoos. If it was my first tattoo, no. Unless it was my party. Yeah. Why do you ask that?
Starting point is 00:02:47 Because there's a guy that works in our building who went to Jelly Rolls number one party, and he had a tattoo artist there. And this guy doesn't have tattoos. Oh, wow. He's just had a few drinks. And he's like, you know what? That sounds fun. He got a tattoo.
Starting point is 00:03:00 And it was like a whiskey glass with like an ice cube in shape of a skull. That was the tattoo. He got in his ankle. And I'm like, dude, you're crazy. His ankle? On his ankle? A lot of things wrong with that. For me, not for him.
Starting point is 00:03:13 Yeah, yeah, yeah. I love it because it'll always have that memory. That's really cool. You go to Jelly Rolls number one party. That's what he said. That's awesome. That's awesome. That's awesome.
Starting point is 00:03:18 That's awesome. Yeah. Would I get a tattoo at a party? Sure. If I could go give me this little razor back. Oh. Or give me this, you know. I'm surprised you don't have a razor bag.
Starting point is 00:03:30 I have a little hog. I would. I do have the state of Arkansas. Yeah, but you don't have a hog. I know. I don't usually get you one of this. Or give me Arkansas and Oklahoma that connection. Because those two states are connected, me and my wife.
Starting point is 00:03:40 But I wouldn't take a skull shot glass. What about the dragon? A dragon? A shark? No, I don't think so. Good for him, though. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I thought that was funny. Sounds like he'll have to cover it up pretty soon, but good for him. His hobbies include playing rec soccer and going for a run.
Starting point is 00:03:54 And if there's an artist who says someone made him uncomfortable on this show, he's probably the one. It's Lunchbox. I never just want to know about superstitions because I was watching this clip on Twitter and Mario Chalmers, who used to play in the NBA, played for the Miami Heat. He played with LeBron James, and he was talking about what the superstitions that LeBron James. James had before every single game. That man would lay his whole outfit on the floor for the game and make sure everybody walks around him. You better walk around it.
Starting point is 00:04:23 Like the media. Oh, one time the media walked over the jersey, he snapped and he made the equipment man go get him a whole new jersey, shorts, tights, headband, armband, socks, and laid it right back out. You know, he'd be able to walk all the way around it. Like, it's a chalk outline. That's funny. Yeah, and because I know Bobby, we used to.
Starting point is 00:04:43 I played Kanye every morning. That was your superstition. For like three years. I played Kanye. Welcome to the Good Live. Ah, every morning. Really? Yeah, it was cool because it's like, we were starting the show.
Starting point is 00:04:55 Yeah, I played it once and we had a good show. And then it was kind of the, I would say, the incline of the show's success early, early. And I was like, I'm not changing that up. It was stupid. So what happened? Why did you stop doing it? I don't know. You had one bad show.
Starting point is 00:05:09 You're like, never again. I don't know. We might have got sued or something. Oh, okay. There's always a reason to pivot out, but we did it for years. And I'm not really a big superstition guy, but I will keep superstitions going just in case I'm wrong. Yeah. Because it have been wrong before. So, you know, I think even Lunchbox will do the clothes thing where if he's wearing clothes, right?
Starting point is 00:05:26 If your team's winning or if he won last game, you put him back on. You wear him, you don't wash them. If things are going bad at halftime, you change clothes. If your team is winning, you can't go to the bathroom and you can't eat while they're playing. I mean, all that. We invent ways for us to feel like we have control of something that we have no control You know what I've been doing the last couple of years is I wake up with a tune in my head every day. There's some random song in my head every single day.
Starting point is 00:05:50 And so on the way into work, I have to play it. So I find it on my streaming service and I play it. Interesting. Whenever that is. If I decide to listen to music in the morning, if I'm coming in, and I don't always, I'll bet the whole day is going to go like the first song that happens to pop up, which I don't know what it is. And if it's a song I really like, it's going to be a great day. And if not, then I'm like, oh, no, I really got to focus hard because that song sucks.
Starting point is 00:06:11 in the States. It's going to be tough if I don't get what. Don't you feel like if you're saying it's going to be a tough day, then you'll be looking for tough things to happen and it'll seem like a tough day? No, it's all stupid. All this is stupid in my bank. I'm not even saying that's legitimate. Yeah, no, no.
Starting point is 00:06:22 But I do feel that way and I'm like, it's going to be tough. So then I work even harder to make it not tough. All right. Thank you, Lunchbox. Amy, her woman of our country show just won an award, which had her dinner table erupt. But if you're a guest on her podcast, don't forget to tell her she needs to turn your mic up.
Starting point is 00:06:35 Here she is. Hey, okay. Okay, so I think maybe a month and a half ago or so, I downloaded this brain app called Impulse. And it's a daily thing where you go on and they give you different exercises for your brain. And I told you all that I went ahead and paid for the year because why not? It was cheaper that way. You could either pay month to month or pay for the year. And I have currently a streak of two days in a row.
Starting point is 00:07:02 How many days ago? It says beat your shirt. Like many, many, many, many days went by before. I've seen the commercial where the guys like, you know, I subscribe to the brain pills, but then I forgot to. Right. It's like I forget to use it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:15 This is the problem. Yeah. So right now my current streak is sitting at zero, but my best streak is two days. I did that in a row. Like an app, like the Teza app I bought for a year. What's that? It's supposed to be like picture, like better filters. And I paid like $2.99 a month before a whole year.
Starting point is 00:07:32 I've used it one time. Yeah, that's ridiculous. Because I don't even do stuff on pictures. I just post it in, like, and, like, I'm like, better. let it roll. So I've done that too. I got that one app, one time where you take a second video, like a second, only
Starting point is 00:07:44 one second of video every day for 365 days. And then at the end of the year, it'll put all those one seconds together and make this really cool video. How many total seconds? Like four. Four seconds. If you could complete something like that, it'd be really cool. True. You should put the note on your front screen because then you'll always see it.
Starting point is 00:08:02 Oh yeah. Impulse. If you're going to remind yourself to do it. That's where we look the most. All right, Ray, go ahead. From Mount Pine, Arkansas, he always has his mic turned on, and it's always before dawn. Bobby Bones. Thank you very much. Is that another dig at me? He was just doing improv off of what we just said.
Starting point is 00:08:18 I like it. Yeah, I was watching a video of a new sport that I think we'd probably get hurt playing, but it'd be hilarious if we could get a place to do it. Have you guys seen ice football? No. Where they play basically tackle football but on a hockey rink? No. That does not seem safe. It's hilarious.
Starting point is 00:08:34 And it's not just the fastest. and you're playing in shoes. You're not playing in... So you're sliding everywhere? Everywhere. Are you wearing pads? I think they were lightly padded, but you can't really even get the momentum
Starting point is 00:08:45 to hit somebody that hard. Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, but you need elbow pads and knee pads. Yeah, I'm seeing people dress up like their hockey players. Elbows and knees, I know they for sure had. I'm down. And maybe it's like hockey stuff
Starting point is 00:08:55 because it's smaller than football. There are two of these I wanted to bring in. If we could find a rink to do that, hilarious. The other thing is I've watched people play soccer with a bowling ball. On ice? No, not on ice. I'm sorry.
Starting point is 00:09:07 Yes, it does. If you try to kick it hard. Yeah. But soccer with a bowling ball looks hilarious. So these are two items I'm submitting to the show that we could build, go do somewhere. And I think that would be hilarious. Somebody would end up hurt, no doubt. Oh, for sure.
Starting point is 00:09:21 But it would be good content. I'm voting for football and ice. That would be awesome. If we can find an ice for. Yeah, like they're a state. Oh, they have helmets on too. Yeah, there are states, or excuse me, countries that have it as like one of their big sports. Even when he scores a touchdown, he slides in a.
Starting point is 00:09:36 Hand up. I know. Isn't that hilarious? That's really funny. That does not look safe. No. Never said it was that safe. Just find it. But how old are those people doing it? I don't mean. It's just hard to move, but they look old. Okay. Okay. I'm just, the older we get, the less agile and, you know.
Starting point is 00:09:53 I don't need a... What about your hips? Are you worried? Right, right. All that stuff. I will hurt something. Right. I'm not arguing that we're all going to get through this unscathed. I'm just saying it's going to be hilarious. Okay. So if we can find an ice rink, we should play football.
Starting point is 00:10:04 Get a little three-on-three game going. Right? All right. Let's open up the mailbag. You send them email and we read it all the air. It's something we call Bobby's Mailbag. Yeah. Hello, Bobby Bones.
Starting point is 00:10:18 I'm having a problem with my in-laws staying too long when they visit. I'm going to peel off for a second. Does it no long answers, but does anyone else have this problem? Sure. Oh, yeah. Okay. Just listen closely. We don't have in-laws anymore.
Starting point is 00:10:31 Oh. Yeah. Correct. Yeah, cool. Oh, yeah. My wife and I have been married for 10 years. We have three kids, seven, four, and two. Over Christmas break, they stayed for three weeks.
Starting point is 00:10:42 Oh, that's a long time. It's a long time. In your past, you had in-laws, though, so you can relate. I did. Yeah, I don't have. She's making sure everybody knows. They didn't die or anything. Amy just got divorced.
Starting point is 00:10:50 Her love died. I didn't make too much of a stink because of the holidays, and I didn't want to ruin that time for our kids, but I wanted him to leave. Even a week was long. They just told my wife they want to come back in April and stay for two weeks. They just left. They want to come for two weeks because it's my wife's and son's birthdays and back-to-back weeks.
Starting point is 00:11:11 This is too much. A weekend is fine. A few days, okay. But they always insist on staying for weeks at a time. My wife said if I have a problem with it, that I'd have to address it with them because she has no problem with them being here for that long. Any advice on how to deal with this? Sign, son-in-law who's reached the final straw. I don't have, I have in-laws, but I don't have an issue with this.
Starting point is 00:11:30 The only thing that I have an issue with, and I'll let you guys talk about the real issue he's asking about. I don't like that she's like You have to tell them because I'm already on their team I try as hard as I can even when I'm uncomfortable We kind of make a decision and I know we won't always be good at this Once like kids are in the picture We try to make a decision even if one of us disagree with it And then we present it as a unit so we're also not divided
Starting point is 00:11:53 That's hard That's everything in life And sometimes I don't do a good job at accepting it And I'm like yeah okay I can't wait to come to Oklahoma And they're like well that didn't sound like you really wanted to come but i'm still presenting it you know so but we don't have the issue with the in-law staying too i'll wish they would come more for now as of now anyway um eddie
Starting point is 00:12:15 yeah so we don't have the issue much anymore but we did in the past and the older i've gotten i've realized that family is important and in-laws they're not going to be here forever three weeks i understand but they're older you know and they're not going to be with us very long so Trace. I get it. It's a long time. But stick it out, man. It's important that the in-laws come.
Starting point is 00:12:39 And especially if you have grandchildren or whatever that they want to see, you got to just suck it up and let them stay. Whoa. Holidays and then April. What are you? You're talking about six, seven weeks over December. You're talking about over a month within five months. I know.
Starting point is 00:12:55 I know. I know. I don't see Eddie folding like a lawn chair. When I was younger, I was like, no, uh, get them out of here. But now that I'm older, I'm like, look, we're going to lose them soon. So like, let's let them hang out. Give them on the kidney, dude. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:13:07 Eddie's now killing them off. They're older grandparents. But is it because you have four kids and you want the extra babysitting? No. No. No. Are you kidding? That's one of the best things about, Eddie.
Starting point is 00:13:17 It is, but they don't come very often anymore. Like, they used to come. Like, oh, my parents. That's why it's not an issue anymore. They've been diagnosed with anything. They're about to die? No, no. Let me go to lunchbox.
Starting point is 00:13:26 Let's go ahead. Look, a week is fine. Three weeks, absolutely unacceptable. If they want to go, stay an hour, outside of town and come, you know, once. Wow, that's hard on them. Once I'm saying, after a week, you got to go and you got to step up and if your wife won't do it, you got to have the conversation like, look, guys, we love you, we appreciate
Starting point is 00:13:46 you, our kids loving you having you around, but three weeks is like you're moving in and you're paying rent. You are becoming new roommates. It is a burden. How would you say it to them? It's a burden. No, but how would you say it to them? I'm going to be an in-law. Yeah. Or lunchbox. Hey, I'm coming up for three weeks. Hey, Earl, you know what I mean? We love having you here and we appreciate how much love you show our kids. But three weeks is pushing it a little too far.
Starting point is 00:14:12 I think if you want to come for a week, go away for a couple weeks, come back for a week. That would be fine, Earl. Space it out. Yeah, but at this time. I only got money for one plane ticket. Well, that's something you got to figure out, Earl. Like rent a car. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:14:26 My son says, that sounds like a you problem. And so that is. We're going to set the limit at one week. After that, you're on your own. And you would say it like that. After that, you're on your own. Oh, yeah, I want to hear this. I just feel like the presentation wouldn't be like that.
Starting point is 00:14:40 Okay, I'll talk to Earl right now. I personally think there's different seasons in life where it is very helpful to have them. And it also is contingent upon the dynamic they bring to the family. Some in-laws bring drama and it's no fun. Other in-laws can be very helpful and contribute to running the household smoothly. There was a season when I was married. where my in-laws were with us for over a month, and it was the biggest blessing ever.
Starting point is 00:15:07 And I would be like, you were welcome to come any time. But they pitch in, they try to help. They want to be a part of things, and they're not in the way. But it feels like that's not the case here because he wouldn't be writing. If he were in happy season within laws, I don't think he'd be writing this email. Well, then that's the case. I think his wife might need to be like,
Starting point is 00:15:24 oh, hey, I see that you're feeling that way. Let's come up with a compromise and let's present together. She's not because she said, She has no problem being here and he should talk to them. Yeah, but that's not a team. Be okay with it, man. It's not a team. Okay, so this is what I would say.
Starting point is 00:15:40 They need a compromise. Just in general with the rules, she doesn't feel like she wants to compromise. You don't want them to be there. You got to take a small L to get a big W. And that small loss is going, look, I was wrong. I think it's great if they come back. But you have to understand three weeks.
Starting point is 00:15:57 It's difficult enlist out the ways that it's practically. practice, it's difficult. Let's do two. That's even uncomfortable for me. But let's do the two weeks. One, the kids' birthday one, and then that's us meeting, it's not even meeting in the middle. You're taking a small L for a Big W, and that's where you have to meet her because
Starting point is 00:16:14 she's already dead set on it. And it's her parents. You know what we do sometimes? We buy the airplane tickets. Sorry, lights are set. So you can't change them. Dang, dude. Or you created a website. But Eddie, I thought that they were getting older and you wanted to be with them. Yeah. Somebody shows up. Everybody's got to move so you move all your stuff out.
Starting point is 00:16:29 whatever you got to do. Yeah, I think on this one, they're going to come. Your wife wants them to come. Oh, man. You've got to take a small L for a Big W here. The Big W is not three weeks. The small L is they're going to come anyway, so maybe you can just get,
Starting point is 00:16:44 you have to give up two weeks. I think this is a big opportunity to be a team. So you're positive. No, I think it's a good opportunity to go to your wife and say, Hey, he's already been. Go again. Because, I mean, they've got to, this is only good. If this is a problem.
Starting point is 00:16:59 in this situation, it's a problem in other situations where they're not like hearing each other. I agree. That's a fundamental issue though. I don't think it's going to be fixed in time for making this decision though. Because they're not going to be around long. No, Eddie, stop killing people. All right, that's the mailback. Close it up.
Starting point is 00:17:15 We've got your email and we read it on the air. Now it's about to close Bobby's mailback. This clip got leaked to the internet. I'm going to play it now. Out of context, maybe it doesn't sound the best. But on this show, we all work together. We've worked together for some of us 18 years. And so Amy and I do a countdown every week in a national countdown. And I was just giving her a hard time. This isn't like the clip where Christian Bell's like, good for you. That clip's awesome.
Starting point is 00:17:47 And it's 50 seconds long. And Amy just kept messing up over and over. We save this. But without context, you don't really know that I'm just giving her a hard time. We'll be the judge of that. No, you were in the room. We were doing it. We'll see. So it's less than one minute long. I want to play you this. Go ahead.
Starting point is 00:18:05 A request for Chris Young and Kane Brown, famous friends here on the country top 30. When we come back, we'll keep talking with our guest, Keith Urban. We've got some paparazzi questions for him. We're actually showing him a photo and see what he thinks of it. And then we've got... I don't know. We start over with the country a minute. Everybody back in.
Starting point is 00:18:20 We're starting over. Everything. When we come back, we'll keep talking with our guest, Keith Urban, about paparazzi photos of him. And we'll keep the countdown moving along. When we come back, we'll keep talking with our guest, Keith Urban. We've got a paparazzi photo to show him of him. I'm about to strangle you. I'm kidding.
Starting point is 00:18:38 When we come back, we'll keep talking with our guest, Keith Urban. We've got a paparazzi photo of him to show him. Amy, I'm about to tell you. Just do it your way. It's written for you. Oh, my God. You show him the photo. It's a eye with a pen.
Starting point is 00:18:51 Okay, here we go. That was a request for Chris Brown. You've infected me in the virus. No, I, Chris Brown, okay. When I say I'm going to stab her in the eye with a pen or I'm going to kill her dead. Dang, dude. No, that was, it was just joking. How mad were you at her at that point?
Starting point is 00:19:11 But also, you did realize that part of the script. It was written for you, so I was thrown off because you're the one that show, you show Keith Irvin the photo. No, no, no, but we're not. It said I, and I didn't. But I just hand, but all the time I just hand you things. No, no, even then. I know. I know, I can improvise.
Starting point is 00:19:27 No, no, it's not even about you messing up. It's only about, I was kidding. I wasn't going to stab her in the eye with a pen. Sounds like you're going to stab me now. I wasn't going to kill her. Are you mad now, dude? No, it was just kidding. But you know how people are on the internet?
Starting point is 00:19:37 All of a sudden they run with it. They're like, this sounds like work, like harassment. And do you know how hard she laughed at me when I said Chris Brown instead of Chris Young? Yeah, yeah, that was funny. That was really funny. If she were really scared, she wouldn't do that. I'm with Amy, though. That was weird.
Starting point is 00:19:51 You have a paparazzi picture of Keith Y, a Keith Urban to show to Keith Urban? He did, yeah. All she has to do. It doesn't matter. It's not about that. It's about the fact that it's not real. If you see even a quote in a news article where radio host threatens the co-host in I with PIN, it was a joke. And if you can't hear that, then that's on you.
Starting point is 00:20:12 I just don't hear Amy sticking up for me either as I do this. Yeah, you're totally. Stop. I feel like people know you're joking. Am I supposed to stick up for you? This is a total joke. I didn't think you were joking. Now, you can tell they're being sarcastic.
Starting point is 00:20:24 I'm scared of you now. No, no, no, no. Thanks, no, no, no, no. Yeah, it was funny. Regardless, this is my official statement. That was a joke. Maybe when a mic's on, I shouldn't say I'm going to kill you or I just stab you in the eye with the pen. But that's the relationship that we have here, right, everybody?
Starting point is 00:20:40 Yeah. Ish. Yes. It's a little hostile. Yes, Bobby, that's what are we're supposed to say. Let me look at my script. Yes. It's time for the good news.
Starting point is 00:20:50 With lunchbox. Stay at home there's something good. If you ever find yourself on a road trip and you want to stop in Wyoming, Michigan, and grab yourself a beer at three Gatos brewery. It's a great idea. How would you say in Spanish? That's three cats. Three cats.
Starting point is 00:21:08 Three cats. Chris Gatos. So, the owners are from Brazil originally and they wanted to recreate that environment of a boteca where everybody comes. How does you say that? Boteca. Boteca. Boteco. Boteca.
Starting point is 00:21:21 Boteca. Boteca. That's like a convenience store. It's a store. Oh, my God. Now he changed even how he says it. Thank you. But how do you say it?
Starting point is 00:21:28 Boteco. That's cool. Okay. Just like I said. Okay. So what they do is they want a family environment, bring your family, the neighborhood establishment. Well, at this place, it's a pay it forward system. Pretty much everyone gets their drinks for free because the person before them has paid for their drinks.
Starting point is 00:21:45 But it's not free because you got to pay for the person behind you. But they don't pay for their own drinks. So like you can leave like two beers for a construction worker and you put it on the board. And a construction worker comes in, gets the two beers. Yeah, lunchbox would buy a construction hat. He paid all money. Exactly what I thought. He paid more money to pay for.
Starting point is 00:21:59 construction hat than you would the beers so he could go on and get the beers for free in the construction work. Okay, a boutecco in Brazil is a place where alcoholic beverages are sold. A bar. Got it. Yeah. You could have just said bar. You say,
Starting point is 00:22:10 it's a brewery's a bar. No, I don't think it's also just a bar because I think like you can go buy the beer or the alcohol and leave. Yeah, but so Linus and Renata de Palola. We have too much Spanish for him because I wouldn't try all this. Go ahead. They are the creators of this brewery. So if you are ever in Wyoming, Michigan,
Starting point is 00:22:28 Stop by Three Cato's Brewery and you get a free beers. Hey, real quick, hey, Mike D, would you grab the story and just give us a quick... I just nailed it. No, no, you did. You did a great job. But if someone's listening and they wanted to hear the actual... Regatos. Well, it's also Brazil, so it's Portuguese.
Starting point is 00:22:44 Yeah, it's different. Yeah, man, it's not Spanish. Okay, you didn't even know that. You just yelled it's different from the video. No, no, they speak Portuguese because No Way Jose in high school, he moved to our high school from... Wait, no way Jose was a guy? Yeah. That was a nickname?
Starting point is 00:22:56 His name was Jose something. No way Jose? Yeah. That's funny. That was his name. No way Jose. And he was one of the best. No, that's not his name.
Starting point is 00:23:03 It's a nickname. Well, whatever. Yeah, yeah. One of the best soccer players I've ever seen in my life. He was phenomenal. Yeah. And so he transferred in for a year because his dad was working and he was from Brazil. So that's how I knew they speak Portuguese.
Starting point is 00:23:15 No way. Cool story, man. I mean, he probably was thrown because Gato in Spanish and Portuguese is the same. That's the way Portuguese is weird. Like every 20th road word is Spanish. Really? Yeah. Very strange.
Starting point is 00:23:27 Yeah. because otherwise I would have nailed it. Yeah, but so there you go. Free beers, I mean, pay it forward at three Gatos Brewery. Like it, that's what it's all about. That was tell me something good.

Starting point is 00:24:45 There's two golden rules that any man should live by. Rule one, never mess with a country girl. You play stupid games, you get stupid prizes. And rule two, never mess with her friends either. We always say that trust your girlfriends. I'm Anna Sinfield, and in this new season of the girlfriends, Oh my God, this is the same man. A group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist.
Starting point is 00:25:13 I felt like I got hit by a truck. I thought, how could this happen to me? The cops didn't seem to care. So they take matters into their own hands. I said, oh, hell no. I vowed. I will be his last target. He's going to get what he deserves. Listen to the girlfriends.

My next guest, you know from Step Brothers Anchorman, Saturday Night Live, and the Big Money Players Network. It's Will Ferrell. My dad gave me the best advice ever. I went and had lunch with them one day.
Starting point is 00:26:01 And I was like, and Dad, I think I want to really give this a shot. I don't know what that means, but I just know the groundlings. I'm working my way up through, and I know it's a place they come look for up and coming talent. He said, if it was based solely on talent, I wouldn't worry about you, which is really sweet. Yeah. He goes, but there's so much luck involved. And he's like, just give it a shot. He goes, but if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit.
Starting point is 00:26:29 If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration. It would not be on a calendar. of, you know, the cat just hang in there. Yeah, it would not be. Right, it wouldn't be that. There's a lot of luck. Listen to Thanks Dad on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Three of these.
Starting point is 00:26:51 What's wrong with people? What's wrong with people? Deer Creek School District in Oklahoma from KOKH. Released the same of a Friday afternoon after a video was sent to the news station that showed students licking toes during a school event. What was the class? There's a lot of backlash. No, not what's the class. What were they learning?
Starting point is 00:27:08 A lot of backlash where students were licking toes as part of a fundraising event. Now, the school is saying the kids volunteered to do it ahead of time. What? The week was spent raising money for not your average Joe coffee, which employs people with disabilities. The district said they host an assembly called clash of classes. They volunteered to participate in different class competitions. Students were paired up for the competition where students were seen licking other students' toes
Starting point is 00:27:37 that just somebody should have stepped in right because I'm watching it it's like toe it's pretty gross yeah yeah but they're putting they're doing cream no this is not a bit
Starting point is 00:27:47 race yeah and whoever gets the peanut peanut butter off the fastest wins but it's like you know somebody invented that for their own little deal with a foot fetish yeah like something or with a yeah
Starting point is 00:27:56 so it's not gonna work but one way or the other either a foot fetish or someone licking their feet some administrators got to step in and go this probably isn't a good idea
Starting point is 00:28:04 to have somebody licking somebody else. Because teenagers are going to think that's hilarious. It is. It's so funny. We're watching it. Somebody's smarter than us who's got to step in and go, not appropriate. It sounds like our show, you know.
Starting point is 00:28:16 Yes, but we're all adults. We would not, that would be a major HR problem. No, we did. I just made Sunday out of lunchbox's butt and you ate it. Yes. And me? Yes. You did.
Starting point is 00:28:25 I have the video. Amy, don't I like you don't remember. We're adults. Right. And Amy volunteered. Well, whoa, I guarantee you. I did not volunteer. I lost the game.
Starting point is 00:28:34 What's wrong with people? What's wrong with people? A man in Indiana thought he and his wife were moving into a new home. They had the U-Haul and it all loaded up. They were actually trespassing because the wife had faked all the financial documents and had stolen the keys. Whoa. Court documents revealed that an Indiana man thought he and his wife were moving. They were so excited.
Starting point is 00:28:49 They had done the real estate process. The man did not know that his wife had lied and faked everything. And then smashed into the home, smashed open the lockbox. And like, we're homeowners. The husband completely left in the dark. They unloaded everything. This is from Foxx. 59, Indianapolis.
Starting point is 00:29:08 This poor guy. You've got to leave this marriage, right? Oh, out. Like, feet don't fail me now type stuff. Like, that's a bad one. Yeah, the story didn't match with the property owner had told. Well, yeah. And so the realtors said they noticed something was off.
Starting point is 00:29:22 There were grammatical errors such as contact you at with the letter you in the document. Contact you at. So they come, police are called, there's people in the house. The realtors are like, yeah, they, they have. The lockbox is smashed open. Man. You would think those logbox would be stronger than just to be able to smash it open.
Starting point is 00:29:41 I thought they were very strong. But yeah, felony charges the stolen property. And this husband is like, I thought we got a house. I mean, this can't be the first time she's, you know, acted up in this way. Yeah. It was just like, news to him. Surely. The property owner just saw a U-Haust outside the house too.
Starting point is 00:29:54 It was like, what? I own that. Why is there a U-Haul out there? And then they go and find everything. What's up with her? What's wrong with people? What's wrong with people? Finally, a man's hospitalized after a woman lures him on a date.
Starting point is 00:30:05 and then her dude beats him up and robs him. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That was a scam to begin with, right? Oh, yeah. For sure. WR. I see a Florida duo is in custody after they allegedly arranged to lure a 73-year-old victim on a date with a woman.
Starting point is 00:30:18 No. Not the old dude. Before he was beaten, robbed. That's so wrong. She was 34, so he was trying to, like, do his thing. Well, you know. He brought here his lunchbox on the radio, and he's like, I'll get me a young one.
Starting point is 00:30:31 Deputy said the staff at the hospital reported the incident after he's brought into the emergency room with several injuries. to his head, torso in arms, need a staple in his head. They got him. The victim told officials he met Chelsea Wright 34 at a bar to discuss the romantic relationship. She said, let's go back to my house. They went in separate vehicles and her ex-boyfriend got him.
Starting point is 00:30:51 Struck him in the middle object, beat him to the ground, stole his wallet. Investigator said they found text messages between the two discussing their plans to carry out the crime. That's terrible. What's wrong with people? What's wrong with people? Oh, that sucks for the old dude. He thinks he's getting like, I know.
Starting point is 00:31:06 He got like brag to his buddies at the bingo hall. He was loving life. I saw real bad what's wrong with people. Oh, no. Do you have time? Yeah. It's not time I'm worried about. No, this dad, his daughter was having a sleepover,
Starting point is 00:31:20 and he made the mango smoothies. Oh, yeah. And he put like some sort of pill that, or something in the smoothies that would make them go to sleep. And one of the girls that was spending the night secretly didn't drink the smoothie. And all the girls were passed out, she said that she saw the dad
Starting point is 00:31:38 checking to see if they were passed out. And she called her mom at 1.30 in the morning. It was like, come pick me up. I don't feel safe. Say it's a family emergency. And I don't know. Did he have bad intentions to do something with the kids? Or was he just too loud?
Starting point is 00:31:51 And he's like, somebody shut them up. Because I've been to draw my dog before if the thunder's coming. I don't know. They were teenage girls. I don't know. I don't know the update beyond that. Lunchbox might because he grown like he knew this story. No, I don't know any update.
Starting point is 00:32:02 I just know that they're going, what? No, I read the story, and I was just like, it felt creepy like he was doing it to make sure they were. So, but you're speculating. Speculating. How horrible, though. Oh, it's wrong. Anyway, you can't be putting drugs and people stuff regardless. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:17 Kids. Yes. Your daughter's having a sleepover. I mean, I feel bad for the daughter. Like, she's like, dad. It's in the news. Yeah. Ah, what's that?
Starting point is 00:32:25 You always like take it to a place where you like feel. That's a dark one. That's a dark one. Yeah, no, no, there's a lot of really dark ones. Like murders and stuff. I could have been up and been like, this person murdered 100? What's wrong with people? I'm so glad that one girl decided to not drink it and was able to call her mom.
Starting point is 00:32:38 Yeah, me too. She made not like smoothies, though. We do I know what's wrong with people on this one? I think we owe it to Amy. Okay. She did win the award for weekly personality of the year. Oh, yeah, a big award. What's wrong with people?
Starting point is 00:32:50 What's wrong with people? Believing in signs is something we've talked about a lot on this show. Amy, if she's looking for a sign, dagummit, it's going to find her. Well, I ask for them. But sometimes not seeing the sign as a sign. So, yeah. There you go. Whatever.
Starting point is 00:33:05 So it's always a sign. So Morgan, you saw a video. Yeah. So I was just like chilling on TikTok, right? I'm on my for you page. I'm not really looking for anything. I'm just hanging out. And this video pops up of this lady who was reading cards.
Starting point is 00:33:19 It was a live video. It was like an actual video she posted. There was no hashtags. There was no caption. Like I couldn't have searched out this video if I wanted to. And it pops up and she's reading the sign. And she's like, you are in a. space right now, you're about to meet the love of your life. It's about to happen. Like,
Starting point is 00:33:35 there are cars happening for you right now that it is coming. It's on its way. Could it be the guy from Ohio that sent our flowers? Oh. Oh. I don't think that one's going to work just based on logistics. You don't know. Also, even if it's not a hashtag or a searchable, it probably knows a bit of your algorithm or knows that you're a single female, right? Or it wouldn't send you that. It doesn't send me that. Yeah. So, well, but so does that mean it's a sign? Like it's purposely sending it to me Because like she needs this You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:34:05 Does your psychic cousin believe in cards Amy? Well I don't know what kind of cards these are But she does those little It's like something she'll pull a card And there's like animal on it Yeah, death card And it's like I don't know what are those called
Starting point is 00:34:16 No that's not bingo No no those are teret cards Oh that's what they are? Yeah she has those I feel like those are the work of the devil Or just somebody playing a dumb game I know it is kind of But if you want it to be a sign Morgan
Starting point is 00:34:27 That's a sign for you It's all up to you Signs are interpreted as you want to interpret them Really? Well, yeah, I wanted to be a sign. I want to meet the love of my life. That'd be amazing. I feel like you're pressing a little hard.
Starting point is 00:34:39 Yeah. Desperation. What do you know by that? I mean, let's say you're going to play basketball. It's a state championship game. I got to play super. And if you put all the pressure on yourself to play super hard and super good, you're not at your best, your most free.
Starting point is 00:34:55 You're putting a standard and a pressure on yourself that doesn't allow you to reach your standard. And I feel like Morgan's doing that with Dan. I mean any dude that goes by, it's like, do you want to say, yes, I'll go on a date with you. They're like, no, no, would you like to try a sample at store? And I think she's trying really hard and I think she's quite the catch, but I think she's pressing a little bit. And I don't, but I don't believe, I don't believe just free, don't do anything that. I don't believe that.
Starting point is 00:35:18 It'll happen. I don't believe that about anything in life. But I do think you're putting a little too much pressure on things. I would probably agree a little bit, but also like I have tried. Like there was a time where I wasn't on the dating house. I wasn't doing anything and I meant nobody. Like I went out, I did, I lived my life, I did things. I meant nobody.
Starting point is 00:35:36 Maybe don't assign your value to dating someone. Well, I don't think she does that. No, no, but she's, but I feel like she's not giving herself enough credit for being an awesome, well-rounded person because there's not someone to fill out her life. I think I'm just eager to really meet somebody more because like, you know, everybody around me is in it. Like I couldn't work. But that's why you don't want, that's it. Well, yeah, not everybody. Hold on.
Starting point is 00:36:02 And it was it and got out. Hold on me. But it puts more pressure on me. Not that I want that pressure, but it does put pressure on me because everyone around me, I do have a biological clock. If there is a time in my life that I want to have kids, there are just factors that are weighing on me. But do you want to push yourself to do something that maybe isn't perfect because of a biological clock? No, and I will not. So like, I do have that pressure on me, but like I'm not going to settle.
Starting point is 00:36:27 But we can always freeze your eggs. Don't worry. We can do that. We're going to pay. You're going to be a retrieval. That's expensive, yeah. All I'm going to say is take a few deep breaths. Keep active, but don't press so hard that everyone, if it doesn't work out, it's terrible.
Starting point is 00:36:43 It's never going to be me. You're just chilling. You're being free. It's like when you're in the shower. You have the best thoughts in the shower. The most freeing, I do creative thoughts in the shower because I'm not trying to do anything. It's the only place I can get where I'm not. That's my spot.
Starting point is 00:36:53 Oh, I cry in the shower. Well, there you go. You feel free. Oh, my goodness. I don't think it's a sign. I don't think it's like a music video. All right, let's go. We have one more sign question here.
Starting point is 00:37:02 And lunchbox is you, but it's about Eddie. Yeah, Eddie, you believe in signs. You've said it on the show. You're a big sign believer. And I was out to dinner with the family other night and I'm walking back from the bathroom and there's a table next to us and it's like six people around a circular table
Starting point is 00:37:17 and they stop me and they go, lunchbox. We're a huge fan in the show. We didn't want to bother you with the family. Can we get a picture? I'm like, yeah, what do you guys do? And they say, oh, we do kidney transplants at Vanderbilt Hospital. And I was like, oh my gosh.
Starting point is 00:37:30 Could be a sign for Eddie to get a sign for Eddie. And so I talked to them about, yeah, to get tested, the benefits and all this. And Eddie, this is what they had to say. Tell Eddie, like, the benefits of donating a kidney. Have a better life. And they don't have to be on dialysis. How risky is it for the person donating the kidney? We discuss those risks with you and you determine if the benefit is worth the risk.
Starting point is 00:37:56 But you are perfectly capable of living off with one. kidney. Yes, most people are able to live the rest of their lives with one kidney. We highly encourage people to sign up and Eddie will be perfectly fine, most likely. Most likely. But it doesn't hurt to go get tested, right? Yes, you have to be 18 or older. Eddie is way over 18. And you have to decide that that's something that you want to do and is right for you. Is it okay that Eddie's bold? Will that cause the new person to be bald? No, no. A kidney transplant recipient will not be bald because they're donor as well. All right. Yes, Eddie, get here and donate a kidney. I don't like when lunchbox asks people questions and when it's not going the way he wants to.
Starting point is 00:38:34 Oh, he does shift. But, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, I think it's kind of a sign. But here's the thing, though, if I get tested, which I'd like to get tested. Go ahead. But if I get tested and then they call in a week, two weeks later, and they say, there's a match, and I say, ooh, I'm not really ready for that, then, like, that's on me, and I shouldn't do that. So, I want to get tested when I'm 100% ready to, like. Where do you think you are percentage? 30?
Starting point is 00:39:00 Oh, my good. 30% because of the risk. Let me ask you, when are you ready, though? You keep saying you want to do it, but dude, you're, you're healthy saying it can be healthy anymore. What do you mean? I'm 44 years old. Exactly. When does it stop being healthy?
Starting point is 00:39:12 It's already. It's an old kidney already? I don't know. I'm not there yet. Okay. But lunchbox, thank you for bringing it up. Yep. Eddie always says he wants to donate the kidney.
Starting point is 00:39:20 If you're 30%, you can't keep saying you want to donate a kidney. No, he doesn't. What do you mean? What do you guys at? You're mostly don't want to do it. I don't have a spleen. I've got a lot of things medically wrong with me. Okay.
Starting point is 00:39:31 I'm not, I can't give up a kidney. I'm not going to. Amy, where are you at? So, you're at zero. No, but you're the one that put this on you. So you can't put this on us. You're the one that brought it up. 30% baby.
Starting point is 00:39:41 You can't bring it up anymore. When you read a story about that, I can't say like, man. No, you say it all the time. And you say it out. No more for Eddie on donating to kidney, everybody. Except for if we, like, if somebody in this room needs one, we'll all get tested. Eddie won't. He's 30%.
Starting point is 00:39:55 I'm better than zero? But you're not at 30% for. Bobby. No, Bones. I'd get tested immediately. Okay. No, not tested. Give it.
Starting point is 00:40:02 Tested first. Here's a voicemail from Alexa in North Carolina. We were fighting for our lives in that queue for the million dollar show, but we got tickets and we're so excited. I've never been to Nashville before. Thank you. And we can't wait. Awesome.
Starting point is 00:40:17 And they will release some more tickets closer to the show. But April 3rd, it's Eddie and I's band, The Raging Idiots, and Sam Hunt and John Party, and a lot of artists that just show up on play. It's going to be an awesome show. Can't wait to do it. and I'm glad you got tickets. It's awesome. Here is Michael from North Carolina.
Starting point is 00:40:32 What's up, guys? I wrote a jingle for Bobby. Love all the other ones I've heard. Here's my own. Check it out. Bobby Bones, Bobby Bones. Bobby Bones. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:48 That's actually really good. Is that Dan and Shay? Most people who do that are just kind of good. And that's even worse than being bad or really good. That guy's really good. This is awesome. Holy crap. Michael in North Carolina.
Starting point is 00:41:01 We need to get you up here to record that into a real microphone. Thank you. Here's Amy's pile of stories. So a video has gone viral from a former cruise ship singer who claims the reason that ships often have free ice cream parties is. Oh, no. Is this going to be gross? I don't even go on cruises. This is going to be gross?
Starting point is 00:41:21 It's because maybe someone has died on the ship and they need to make room in the freezer. No way. But I always thought they had morgues. But what if so many people died, the morgue is full? and they need to clear out some ice cream. My goodness. Because you know you're out at sea and sometimes people die.
Starting point is 00:41:37 I hear you, but if this person is saying that means it's probably happened at least once that they know of. That's weird. So if you ever get a, hey, random ice cream party, somebody's dead.
Starting point is 00:41:47 Somebody's dead. This same person, her name is Dara Star Tucker, estimates that four to ten people out of around 30,000 passengers died on each of her voyages. Four to ten. I get that that's a really large number,
Starting point is 00:42:01 thousands of people. No, no, it's still people dying. But they're just living. Like, like, it just, they're dying of natural. They're not living. No, no, no. What I'm saying is they didn't get murdered or anything. We don't know that.
Starting point is 00:42:10 Well, I'm sure. We have no idea. That's, okay. Ice cream parties, no, boy, no, I'm true shit. Man. All right, what else? Wait, is there a Bobby Bone Show cruise update? Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:42:18 There's not. Because there's been no. No, there's been a couple, there have been a couple people reach out. I'm going to tell you why. We haven't done it. One, I think I'm going to get so seasick. I get, I'm just talking about it, honestly, that makes me want to burp.
Starting point is 00:42:32 I'm telling you, just being like on a boat doing breaking body bones and vomiting the whole time. Oh. That was a fishing boat. This is a little different. I know, but that burp was me getting queasy just talking about it. Two, we did have somebody reach on and go, hey, you could make some good money off this if it sells.
Starting point is 00:42:47 I don't want to have to come on and hustle people to go on a cruise with us. Yeah. Be like, please, come on a cruise. Because then all the pressure's on us. Even to break even, all the pressures on us. Can you just sell the tickets first and then they give you the size of the boat I don't think that's how works. You won't have to bang, dude.
Starting point is 00:43:02 You just say it once and boom. We're going to be like, we need a catamaran. I don't think. We're in a bass boat. We're in a tugboat. All right, what else? Okay, so let's say that you're invited to a work trip in Paris. But whatever the company trip is, like for whatever meeting, they're having to save money and budget.
Starting point is 00:43:20 Because this one person is going viral on TikTok because her employers, it is a business trip. Remember, are making her share a bed with a coworker. No way. That can't happen. A bedroom, I would understand a bit if both people sign off and they're both of the same sex. But a bed? That's why. That's like an HR problem waiting to happen.
Starting point is 00:43:41 Yeah, she said, she's from New Jersey. She went on TikTok and said, my company is not only asking me to share a room with a colleague on our upcoming trip to Paris, but there's only one bed in the room. So maybe they're saying, hey, one of you can have the bed and one of you get a caught, which still is weird. And I'm not going to act like we haven't shared beds before Eddie or lunchbox. No, we've done it. We have, but we did it on our own. We did our own. We had three veds, but we chose this.
Starting point is 00:44:02 No, that's not true. That's not true. We would go on a trip together, all of us to Vegas, and there would just be not enough veds. So me, Eddie, or me lunchbox, or Carlos at the time at lunchbox? Yeah, and nothing happened. Nothing happened.
Starting point is 00:44:15 That we'll talk about. Right. Nothing happened that we'll talk about right now. Correct. Maybe in the next book. All right, what else? Okay, so Garth Brooks and Tricia Yearwood, they're getting their own docu series.
Starting point is 00:44:24 It's called Friends in Low Places, and it's following them as they work on Garth's new Nashville bar that's opening soon and it's premiering on Amazon this Thursday, Amazon Prime. I got invited. Did you guys get invited? Yeah. No. Did you? Bye. To the Garth? Yeah. You guys got
Starting point is 00:44:40 invited? To the friends and family thing? No. Let's talk to you. Yeah. Yeah. What on earth? Well, they said don't tell Eddie. Really? No, they did. When did that come in? Yesterday? I just got a text. Oh my goodness. I'm sure you got invited. I don't see anything.
Starting point is 00:44:56 And I'm the biggest Garth Maybe that's why you didn't get invited. Man. I wonder why Garth was physically working on the bar. It makes sense if they're doing a docu series. He does work himself out on his land, no doubt. But if it's a docu series, he's got to be in there doing on camera. Because he showed up with Brooks and Dunham played, I think, during this thing in Nashville last week
Starting point is 00:45:15 and he was covered in, like, sawdust. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And remember he made like a whole bridge on his ranch or something? Oh, no, he does work. Yeah, he does work for sure. Okay, there you go. Okay, so again, that's Amazon Prime this Thursday, and that's the same night that the venue is having the grand opening.
Starting point is 00:45:28 Got it. I'm Amy. That's my pile. That was Amy's pile of stories. It's time for the good news. With producer Eddie. Yeah, home is something good. Shout out to Wild Bill's tattoo in Roseville, California.
Starting point is 00:45:44 They just hosted their 23rd annual tattoo-a-thon. And all the money in this tattoo-a-thon goes to the pediatric intensive care unit over at UC Davis Children's Hospital. They've been doing it for 23 years, and they said in that whole time, they've donated $300,000 of that hospital. Dang. And this is by just giving tattoos out and all the artists, they donate their time. They don't, they don't charge anything. I'd feel better about going to a tattoo athon if there was a good cause because tattoo aton,
Starting point is 00:46:09 any athon, I feel exhaustion is marathon. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Any athon, people are going to get tired. But here's the deal. They have a lot of artists. It's not just one dude doing thousands of tattoos. I'd be worried about that athon. That's awesome.
Starting point is 00:46:23 That is awesome. That's a great story. That is what it's all about. That was tell me something good. A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care what you're saying. Yep, that's me,

Starting point is 00:47:35 There's two golden rules that any man should live by. Rule one, never mess with a country girl. You play stupid games, you get stupid prizes. And rule two, never mess with her friends either. We always say that trust your girlfriends. I'm Anna Sinfield, and in this new season of the girlfriends,
Starting point is 00:47:57 oh my God, this is the same man. A group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist. I felt like I got hit by a truck. I thought, how could this happen to me? The cops didn't seem to care. So they take matters into their own hands. I said, oh, hell no.
Starting point is 00:48:14 I vowed. I will be his last target. He's going to get what he deserves. Listen to the girlfriends. Trust me, babe. On the IHartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Everyone, I'm Ego Woodham.
Starting point is 00:48:35 My next guest, you know, from Step Brothers Anchorman, Saturday Night Live, and The Big Money Players Network. It's Will Ferrell. Woo, woo, woo, woo. My dad gave me the best advice ever. I went and had lunch with them one day, and I was like, and Dad, I think I want to really give this a shot.
Starting point is 00:48:55 I don't know what that means, but I just know the groundlings. I'm working my way up through, and I know it's a place that come look for up and coming talent. He said, if it was based solely on talent, I wouldn't worry about you, which is really sweet. Yeah. He goes, but there's so much luck involved. And he's like, just give it a shot. He goes, but if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall
Starting point is 00:49:16 and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit. If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration. It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat. Just hang in there. Yeah, it would not be. Right, it wouldn't be that. There's a lot of luck. Listen to thanks, Dad, on the IHeartRadio app, Apple.
Starting point is 00:49:37 podcast or wherever you get your podcast. Coming up, we're going to do forgotten jams. Songs that are awesome that maybe you forgot about. And you're like, dang, that was a jam. We'll do forgotten jams coming up in just a minute. Now let's go to Amy with the morning corny. The morning corny. Why did the lobster blush?
Starting point is 00:50:00 Why did the lobster blush? He saw the ocean's bottom. Oh, funny. That was. the morning corning. Get it. And lobsters are kind of red. And lobsters on the bottom of the seat. I'm not judging if you like it. That's a good one, Amy.
Starting point is 00:50:16 Thank you. I've forgotten jams to add to your playlist. Songs that are awesome, but maybe we've forgotten about them. Eddie gave me the idea. Eddie, what was your forgotten jam? And I was driving and it came on the radio. It was one of those throwbacks. You know, like, and they played Small Town Saturday Night by Hal Ketcham.
Starting point is 00:50:34 And I'm like, dude, this was a jam. It was. And I sing it with much more passion, I think, than I remember it. He's pretty chill. I'll be like, how let the moon shoot out for lots? Rest in peace, I'll catch them too. Oh, I didn't know that. Yeah, in the last couple years.
Starting point is 00:50:49 Oh, wow. Although my years are all jacked up from just general. But yeah, rest and peace. He's one that we never met. True. You know, we've met a lot of these legends, these 90s guys that come in and we never met him. Mine is, and I was reminded of mine because I was watching Cheryl Crow on TikTok. And she was like, hey, what's up, guys?
Starting point is 00:51:06 Because, you know, I don't play this one a lot anymore, but you guys asked for it. And she started playing. She's like, um, dirty tonight in a hotel. Everyone's there, but they won't share. And then she wouldn't sing the Kid Rock part. She was like, you can sing that part. And then she just got quiet and the words would pop up. That's the dude part.
Starting point is 00:51:25 Yeah. She can't sing that. It don't matter though. This is funny. So, but Cheryl Crow and Kid Rock, picture when it came out, it was such a jam. Amy, forgotten jam. Okay. So, uh, colder weather by Zach.
Starting point is 00:51:36 Brown Band came on for me recently, and I was like, oh, this is so good. And so I've been listening to it randomly on my own. Lunchbox? Black-eyed peas, my hump. One movie is Will Ferrell singing this one on the treadmill? Oh, I don't know. I know Michael Scott has it as his ringtone in the office. It's like, ding-dong, ding-dong.
Starting point is 00:51:54 It's not even the version of them singing it. It's like the old Nokia version. Ding-dong, ding-dong. What's the Will Ferrell on Mike? Blades of Glory. Blades of where he's an ice skater. That's awesome. That's good.
Starting point is 00:52:05 Hey, Morgan, what do you have? What's your forgotten jam? Well, I've been on this like pop punk kick lately at the gym, and I forgot how good this one was. It's 1985 from Bowling for Soup. Do you know that's a cover, by the way? No, no. 1985?
Starting point is 00:52:19 Uh-huh. Yeah, it's a cover. Wait, who did it originally? SR 71. There you go. Okay. Do what? It's a pop punk band.
Starting point is 00:52:27 Never heard on lunchbox? No, never heard that one. But yeah, jam. What out, Morgan? Well, I had like a, you know, kind of punk phase when I was in high school, so I feel like I'm getting to kind of relive that right now. I feel like if that was your punk phase, that wasn't that punk. That was like top 40 punk.
Starting point is 00:52:42 I also had like dark eyeliner and I wore my bangs over. I was kind of emo a little bit. Crazy. Like Black Parade. Yeah, a little bit. Do you know who that, who sings that song? Mike, who is that? My chemical romance.
Starting point is 00:52:53 Oh yeah, my chemical romance. Look a good too. Yeah. Lunchbox you did yours. Scoobo Steve, what's yours? It's White Town. You're one. For a long time, I thought you was saying I could never be a woman.
Starting point is 00:53:08 Which I think is probably also misunderstood easily because it's such a deep voice. But that was a jam too. Yeah. Good job, guys. Those are all, I forgot about all those except mine. I know, not anymore. We remember them on your playlist of forgotten jams. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:53:23 So I went to a sleep doctor two months ago and I slept in the room. They put all these cables and cords on me and they measured stuff. And, well, I mean, they, like, you know. Measured stuff. I know. But they did. They like data and grass. and brain, breathing.
Starting point is 00:53:37 Up things on your body. Right. Maybe they did. I don't know. I was asleep. So I go and have the follow-up after they have all the tests done and they go, hey, you have basically severe sleep apnea. Didn't really know what sleep apnea was.
Starting point is 00:53:49 I'd heard the term. And I knew it was something in your sleep. I never researched it because I never thought it was about me. But really sleep apnea is when you stop breathing while you're sleeping. And I was stopping like 30 times an hour, which is crazy. And it can keep blood from going to your brain. Your blood oxygen level goes down. Then your body shoots adrenaline.
Starting point is 00:54:05 linen and it's like, that's why I was waking up because your body's trying to save itself basically from dying. So they go, you're going to need this machine. Now, on TV, I've only seen these sleep apnea machines. It's like a huge mask you put on, and in the background it's going, and it just sounds terrible. So I go to get mine, and it's a box about the size of a normal size hard back book. Okay?
Starting point is 00:54:30 That's how big the box is, not even that big. And it's got a tube, like an air tube. How thick? That's a weird question. What you're doing with your hand is weird. Like an O, if you make an O out of your finger, out of your hand, your thumb finger. I know. That's a weird question to ask.
Starting point is 00:54:48 And then so, then you take this thing and it's not a full mask, it just goes into your nose. It's a little strap that goes behind your head into your nose. And it blows all the time. It never stops. Into your nose. And I'm like, well, this is going to be tough. But it leaks out the back a little bit. I was like, why does it leaking out the back?
Starting point is 00:55:06 Well, what makes sense is you have to breathe into it as it blows out, so it's got to have a little leakage out the back airwise. So I put it on the first night, and it does feel weird. And you can move in it, not 100%, because you have this tube you're attached to. It doesn't make any noise, by the way. So it's not allowed? Nothing. You don't hear the...
Starting point is 00:55:25 Nope, not unless it falls off your head, which you came off my head once and you can hear it coming out of the little nose holes. I put it on, I fell asleep. Night one, I had like seven of the most vivid dreams. I've had in years. Wow. You don't remember dreams? Like dreams or nightmares? No, just dreams.
Starting point is 00:55:40 Not even nightmares. Wow. But I never have dreams or if I had them, I never remembered them because I never sleep long enough. I pulled it off in the middle of the night. I don't remember pulling it off. Probably five or six hours into it, but I slept five, six hours straight without waking up, which I never do. And I never dream. I slept hard and they told me it was going to be like a week and a half before I got the real benefits from it.
Starting point is 00:56:01 So night one had dreams like crazy. And so I'm like, wow, this thing is really working. this thing is really working night too put it back on dream dream dream dream I wake up I know like seven dreams in my head I slept probably five or six hours again before I woke up and I keep pulling it off in the middle of the night without me knowing I think just because it's like uncomfortable on my ears I'm not used to it and then it started drying out my throat a little bit because pushing straight through and if you open your mouth it comes the air comes out of your mouth I'm shooting out of your mouth just going right in your nose are you allowed to tape your mouth yes I do tape my mouth now I tape my mouth
Starting point is 00:56:28 shut so I've had it for four nights and I will tell you in only four nights and this is a small sample size. It has completely changed my sleep. It's a little uncomfortable to put on. It's a little uncomfortable to sleep with. But the benefits that I've gotten from it, I feel after only four days, you may have to ask me again in two weeks. I feel like an alien. Because I don't hate the world when I wake up. I am a little sleepy when I wake up because I wasn't before that adrenaline would hit me. I'm awake. Now I wake up. I'm like, ooh, I'm a little sleepy. But then I just have this, I feel a bit whole, more whole after only four nights. So my very very very. So my very very. So my very very. very early review of this machine to if you have, and I didn't have to pay for it. My insurance paid for it and you can't get it unless it's prescribed for you, this machine. Oh, there goes my next question. You probably get a black market one somewhere. Well, I was just curious. I'll sell you mine.
Starting point is 00:57:16 Even if you don't have sleep apnea, would it still be beneficial? I don't know. Okay. Because I stopped breathing and it never stopped shooting air in your nose. Why would you want that if you didn't have sleep apnea? Just. What part of your body would you put about? Yeah. I mean, geez. I'm thinking, like just, you know, extra oxygen.
Starting point is 00:57:33 I don't even know if it's giving any more pure oxygen or for just spinning in there. Dude, it's crazy for as long as I've known you, you don't dream. Like you've never, because I don't get into that REM stage. Oh, no, Amy, he's going to start coming in talking about his dreams now. Okay, listen, I had a dream last night. Whatever, I'm not allowed. You're right. We've wanted to talk about our dreams.
Starting point is 00:57:50 I know, we dream all the time, dude. People don't care about your dreams or your fantasy football team. That's true. So I will not be coming in to talk about my dreams, but I will say that the machine in this very short time, I have the right to change my mind later. but it has made a 65% difference thus far. And the fact that it's quiet too, I'm sure your wife loves that.
Starting point is 00:58:09 Yeah, except when it falls off my head, you do hear it go through the nose holes because there's nose holes go into your nose a little bit. And so if you just open your mouth and the air comes flying out of your mouth. And I do this bit where I talk like a robot to her because it's what it sounds like, how are you doing? Are you going? I love bits, right?
Starting point is 00:58:25 Mr. Robato. But all the listeners that have messaged me, everybody that struggles with sleep, I put it off for years. Four days in, I'll give you an update in another two weeks or a month. I do think this is going to change my life. And I never say that. I don't do, I try not to do real hyperbolic statements like that.
Starting point is 00:58:43 The next step, though, is to keep it on all night. How are you going to do that? I don't know because I'm pulling off of my sleep. I just think you tape it to your ears. I start taping everything. It's like I'm an out of control passenger on Southwest. My wife tapes me down to the bed. So that's what's up.
Starting point is 00:58:56 I wanted to share that with you guys. I'm going to do it yesterday. But that's what I got for you. I'm happy for you. Thank you. Let's do the news. Bobby's Big. Stories.
Starting point is 00:59:06 A fisherman is attacked with a harpoon after he and his buddy argued about which man caught the bigger fish. Oh, no. So before I get the story, this is a similar thing that when I was duck hunting a lot, you'd be in the blind. And the ducks, duck hunting was the most fun hunting because when it happened and there was action, you don't come over. And everybody's a day. And you have a good duck dog. It's just a great day. Right.
Starting point is 00:59:29 And so, but you argue over who shot the duck sometimes. Because everybody got the gun, say, no, I swear to God, I killed that one. Oh, man, I wanted to, like, harpoon somebody, so I get it. That's hard to figure out. But, like, when you're catching a fish, you should know who got the fish. No, no, they're spear fishing. They're spear fishing. Let me tell you more.
Starting point is 00:59:48 Oh. So let's get off the duck hunting story. That's what it reminds me of. I don't want to shoot Scotty. I told you. I shot the duck. medics were shocked to find that a fisherman had been struck with a harpoon, not by accident. This dude was out with his friends and drinking beers.
Starting point is 01:00:02 Of course. The 45-year-old said that he ended up with a friend got in an argument about which man had caught the bigger fish. I was fishing with my friend. We joked about who had caught what, and I said, my fish was bigger than yours. And he said, no, it's not. And he got offended. Then that's where the disrespect started. It's always about disrespect, never about the fish.
Starting point is 01:00:18 And so after that, they started pushing each other, and then he aimed the harpoon at him. Oh, my goodness. What? That's a tinted murder. Oh, for sure. Well, it depends on big. It's not like a javelin harpoon. Oh, dude, they're big, though.
Starting point is 01:00:31 But this is a smaller one. This harpoon, he's like, I'll shoot you, went to the back of his head. No. Okay. Lodged inside the skin. Took him to the hospital. They had to cut most of the, the harpoon was like a foot long. So you guys are thinking massive.
Starting point is 01:00:47 But he did it in his head. No, no, you're right. I'm just saying you guys are thinking like a javelin in the Olympics. Yeah, yeah, that's what I pictured. But still, this is a bad deal. but he did it in the back of his head. Like I get it foot, arm, back of the head. I mean, yeah, you hit the wrong artery.
Starting point is 01:00:59 Better back of the head, though, than like front of the face. Yeah. No. No. Yes, it is. How about to stay away from the head? I agree, but if you got to pick a side of the head, go to the back. Also, get a scale.
Starting point is 01:01:11 To see who's got the bigger fish? No, that's not fun. It became disrespect, you know? They didn't get that far? That x-ray, it shows it going through the back of the skull. It's below the brain. You can kill them. Oh, for sure.
Starting point is 01:01:23 Got very fortunate it didn't come. kill him. A guy cleaning out his truck finds months old mega millions ticket worth $30,000. A Maryland man said he learned a lesson about keeping his truck tidy when a recent clean out resulted in a ticket. I wouldn't even look up the ticket, I'll be honest with you. If I was cleaning it out and found a ticket, I'd have thought it was a loser. But why do you buy a ticket and just throw it on the floor of your truck? How stupid are you?
Starting point is 01:01:44 Because you probably play just for fun. You're not thinking you're ever going to win. You probably, if I just fell, if I fell to the ground, I don't think he just threw it on the ground. I was like, well, this one throw it on the ground. It sounds like he had a lot of tickets. It's just thrown back there. He was just like, oh, throw the back seat. He probably plays a lot, and he probably dropped one, but they're mixed with all the other losers. Oh, my goodness.
Starting point is 01:02:02 I just wouldn't have taken it and put it back through to see if I won. I would just assume it was a bad one. They expire, right? Did he get... Yeah, they expire. This one was still good, though. Okay. He said the ticket spent a month forgotten in his truck, only recently resurfaced when he was cleaning out his vehicle.
Starting point is 01:02:15 He then decided he should check the ticket, and it won $30,000 from UPI. That's awesome. So let's say you go to the hospital for gallbladder surgery, and you leave with the vasecta, Probably not what you expected. Ro. Yeah, a guy, George, went under the knife for gallbladder surgery. It was to happen on Tuesday. It got delayed a day.
Starting point is 01:02:33 On Wednesday, hospital staff came into his room. They didn't ask him any questions. They willed him off for surgery. The vasectomy. He woke up. He was told your vasectomy was a success. He's like, huh? He was like, hmm.
Starting point is 01:02:47 He said he went from speechless to panic. The gallbladder surgery ended up being successful let's say did later, but the vasectomy is irreversible. Oh, I thought you could reverse that. This one, I don't know, they chopped the whole thing. I don't know. It just says this one's irreversible.
Starting point is 01:03:04 Or maybe it's tubeside that can be, I'm not sure. There are different vasectomies. Like, they say you can reverse a vasectomy. Yeah, that's what I've heard. Yeah. But they say, I don't know. I've never been involved in either. Audity Central.
Starting point is 01:03:16 Are these the news stories or are those boneheads? They're all boneheads. A lot of these are kind of funny. They didn't quite make the bonehead. No, but that's giving me millions of dollars. That was probably a lawsuit, yeah. Especially if you, even if you can reverse it, that's probably money. I think it's also a good reminder for any of us if you're there for anything.
Starting point is 01:03:34 If no questions are asked or they're not, I like to make. I'm trusting them. I'm going to tell you. It's blind trust. I like when questions are asked, you've got a wristband on. They're like, what's your birthday? Everything matches. I get it. I thought you're going to say put a note says, I'm not here for a vasectomy down there. Put a note on it.
Starting point is 01:03:49 You're like, don't touch. I do want to shout out to Keegan and Reagan. We were in Stillwater yesterday. We met them at Eskimo Joe's. It was two kids who listened to the show. We met their parents too. Dad was a trainer for OSU football. Mom was a physical trainer, like in town.
Starting point is 01:04:07 But we met them. We went by Eskimo Joe's after spending all day with a baseball team, a softball team. And we went over to our friend Matt Holliday's house and hit balls in a batting cage and played pickleball. What a day. What a day. He has a batting cage. in his backyard? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:04:22 Yeah, one of his sons in the major leagues and other ones like the number one prospect and he spent 15 years in the majors. Yeah, so that tracks.
Starting point is 01:04:28 Yeah. We were talking, and I've known Matt for a long time, but we went over to his house and we're doing like an interview with him and Eddie goes,
Starting point is 01:04:34 how much money do you made your whole career on a mic? And hilariously, he goes, oh, it's all on the internet. He's like, you can Google it. Because Matt's like the most humble dude, like humble,
Starting point is 01:04:42 uh, super Christian, like A plus salt of the earth kind of guy. And he goes, you can Google it. And then Eddie goes, he goes, how much? What is that?
Starting point is 01:04:53 He said 170. And then Eddie goes, 170,000? No. $1,000. Yeah. He was awesome. Yeah, and still water. You got a shout out.
Starting point is 01:05:01 We had so much fun there yesterday. The Eskimo Joe shirts when I was in college, those are really popular to have. I didn't know. That was the only Eskimo Joe's. Oh, yeah. Yeah, we went to the store. The store's as big as the restaurant. Maybe bigger.
Starting point is 01:05:12 Yeah. Maybe bigger. I need to get an Eskimo Joe's shirt. And my sister-in-law, Grace, was like, if you go to Eskimo Joe's because she went to Oklahoma State. She said, go get cheese fries. And so we ordered food before he flew back home. And I got cheese fries.
Starting point is 01:05:25 Let me tell you, they were great for my front mouth, not good for my back mouth. The back mouth was paying for it this morning. In the news, a former Duncan manager in Florida stole $153,000 from a business, that business. And when the cops later asked where she got all that money, she said, no, no, no, no, no, it's not from my boyfriend's drug dealing. Oh, even better. Oh, no. Oh, no, no, no, no. Dang, was he really a drug dealer?
Starting point is 01:05:48 It's from Tampa Bay.com. Probably. Because now he's going to get arrested. Yeah, now he's going to prison too. The store conducted an audit. There was a payroll shortage. The audit showed that a large number of deposits were missing that were supposed to have been made at a Wells Fargo Bank.
Starting point is 01:06:00 She was a person responsible for making the deposits. It was shown on the surveillance video leaving with the deposits. And then that was the deal apparently tried to get out of it by going, no, no, no, it's his drug dealing. Oh, my gosh. Do you think some people are so immersed in the drug culture? They don't even realize some of the stuff's illegal? because they do it all the time.
Starting point is 01:06:20 I feel like they know it's illegal. I hear you. I feel like they know it's illegal too, but it's like just another day. What if it's like, I know it's illegal, but everyone does it anyway. Sure. Sure.
Starting point is 01:06:30 I would say it's in a way lesser way. Sometimes people will come on the show and say bad words. Like they'll curse. Because surely that can't still be illegal on the airwings. We're like, no, you can't say that word anymore. Yeah, because in podcasts you can't. Yeah, or just life. Or sometimes they don't consider the S word.
Starting point is 01:06:48 First word. Yeah, yeah. Sure. And I bet it's not, but I wonder if in her head, like, that's just so part of everyday life to her. She's like, no, no, no, that's from his business. What's the business? Oh, drugs. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:06:57 I think it was just anything to save me. I don't care. Just sell him up the river. Oh. I don't, sell him up the river feels like a bad thing to say. And I'm not sure where that comes from. What? Up the river.
Starting point is 01:07:09 That means. Probably. You sell them out. No, no, I know what it means. The origin of it. But I wonder what the original thing is. If that's like a slave thing. Oh.
Starting point is 01:07:15 Well, if it is, I didn't mean about that. No, no, no, I know. I don't mean that. For sure. Yeah. That's why when you say, No, no, no, no. We don't think you meant it like that.
Starting point is 01:07:24 But when you say that, I'm like, I wonder if that's what that term actually meant. You should probably stop using that one. And sometimes we say stuff without knowing. You're not saying that. That's what I meant. But how about that? I didn't even think that. I thought he was selling goods or something, you know.
Starting point is 01:07:36 Oregon. You have different? I have, it says the phrase up the river originated in 18-9. Selling up the river. Oh. Okay. Well, up the river came from prison. so I don't know if there's like a different kind of thing there with selling.
Starting point is 01:07:49 Well yeah yeah I think it's probably the money's broken yeah it has to do with the slave trade but yeah okay it's good to know good catch also yes and now we all know I'm sure some people we saved them from saying that today casually I've never said that he's never said it either until this one time I don't know yeah it's one of those things that just pot to my head During a show in Kansas City Oh, you know when Drake was here in Nashville He paid for the woman's hospital?
Starting point is 01:08:19 Cancer, he gave her like $200,000. There's another one. Drake promised to pay off of fans' late mom's house. What in the world? If he's going to every show and doing this, pretty amazing. That's awesome. But if you're going to a drag show...
Starting point is 01:08:32 The problem is if he's setting this precedent, everybody's going to be holding up signs asking for like... 100%. But how does he find... I need to know how he finds that out. I bet somebody probably does some... work ahead of time to find out. He has to.
Starting point is 01:08:47 Because it's not just picking random people right now. So he was handed a note from a person in the front row. He takes a note and he goes, this is it. He says, pay off mom's house, rest of peace. Said your mom passed away. And then he's like, you know what? I'm going to pay it off for you as $100,000. Okay.
Starting point is 01:09:02 The same amount. Matt Holiday made $170,000. They have to plan the people because. No, no, listen to me. If you can afford front row tickets to drive. Drake? I don't know that the note came from somebody in the front front. I have no idea.
Starting point is 01:09:16 I didn't see. Let's say. I hear you. So how far back could they be? But I would say it's probably, it's not less good. No, I'm not saying it's less good. But it's probably, yes. I would imagine somebody advances that and checks to make sure that it's a real story.
Starting point is 01:09:29 Sure. And the Nashville one, they interviewed the girl. Like the local and news interviewed the girl at her house here in Nashville. So she was a local girl here. No, I get that they're local. No, you want to argue about that. They don't do fly them in. No, he's just like saying it's a fake person.
Starting point is 01:09:41 No, no. He's saying they just check with them to make sure it's real beforehand. Right, and they plant him in the front row. They can't have this person sitting up in the nosebleeds because Drake would not be able to get the note. Well, that's true. Well, here's two things about that. Sometimes people could, three things. Gifted tickets, they could win tickets or they prioritize their spending and they're willing to.
Starting point is 01:09:59 Also, we're spending way too much time on something that doesn't matter. That's awesome, Drake. We're trying to see how this is not possible. It's awesome. Working from homes causing people not to leave home. That's from a study at the University of College, London. that people that were allowed to work remote are now upset about having to go back to work because they don't need to go back to work.
Starting point is 01:10:18 And so it's also saying people that work from home all the time now don't get as much done because they're in their comfort zone. And also they get distracted by things at home. Fully understand that. I don't like working at home that much. I like to get into my space here. It's like a separate space. And we worked remotely for a bit.
Starting point is 01:10:35 And then we fought the pandemic every day. We fought the pandemic every day. We drove in. We punched the air. Who won? That's right. We did. And then being with other people, there's an energy that happens with that. I think even depending on what you do, like that part I don't like.
Starting point is 01:10:50 And you get to leave your work at. I want to put on the goggles. I have you guys avatars on. We all talk to each other. When I'm done with you, just take it off. Let's see. Anything else? An airplane pilot leaves the cockpit to help deliver a baby.
Starting point is 01:11:02 But, I mean, he had a co-pilot. Oh, he had a co-pilot. Okay. For sure. But also, you can actually leave because that really. That's one. Not a pilot. But a pilot going up.
Starting point is 01:11:12 and a pilot coming down is really the two things they have to do unless something bad happens. It doesn't matter though. You got to have someone sit in that chair. But what if a bait? No, you don't. But what if a baby's being born and it's only one pilot? But really, knowing pilots, Amy's husband pilot, not a commercial pilot. But really the things they really got to watch when it goes up and when it lands.
Starting point is 01:11:29 Now they need to be there in case they're up in the air and like a spaceship comes or something. Yeah, or like the radio guys. Like, there's a plane coming your way. You might want to go down in altitude. No, sorry, delivering a baby. Can't hear you. But I think you deliver the baby. Doesn't the baby just come out?
Starting point is 01:11:41 Dude, I've never seen one. Lunchbox said he helped whoever baby to post office. And I held the woman's hand. But a pilot. I'm sure there was a co-pilot, by the way. A pilot is adding another title to his name. He helped deliver a newborn baby in the air. That's crazy.
Starting point is 01:11:55 He was flying and an emergency happened. He was piloting the plane. He left the cockpit. But also, you could probably like a flight attendant go up there and manage it or something. Yeah. And like, yeah, if you hear anything important, you yell back. Okay.
Starting point is 01:12:07 Paula, hey, Paula, hey, Paula, hear something. He started doing barrel rolls because a, flight attend, like, this is awesome. All right, there you go. That's the news. Those were Bobby's big. Stories. There is a brand new episode of Too Much Access with the Auburn basketball team. You can go to Too Muchaccess.com or go to my Instagram, Mr. Bobby Bones. We went and hung out with Coach Pearl. He led Eddie in a funny way. He was like, you coached a little bit. Eddie, you coach a kid.
Starting point is 01:12:30 He's like, yeah, and he goes, you don't know crap. hilarious. Mr. Bobby Bones or go to Too Much Access.com. Genie Broom, Coach Pearl, Too Much Access. It is up now. A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care what I'm saying. Yep, that's me.

Starting point is 01:13:59 We always say that trust your girlfriends. I'm Anna Sinfield. And in this new season of the girlfriends, Oh my God, this is the same man. a group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist. I felt like I got hit by a truck. I thought, how could this happen to me? The cops didn't seem to care.
Starting point is 01:14:19 So they take matters into their own hands. I said, oh, hell no. I vowed. I will be his last target. He's going to get what he deserves. Listen to the girlfriends. Trust me, babe. On the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. I'm Igor.
Starting point is 01:14:45 My next guest, you know from Step Brothers Anchorman, Saturday Night Live, and the Big Money Players Network. It's Will Ferrell. Woo, woo, woo, woo. My dad gave me the best advice ever. I went and had lunch with them one day, and I was like, and dad, I think I want to really give this a shot. I don't know what that means, but I just know the groundlings. I'm working my way up through, and I know it's a place that come look for up and coming talent. He said, if it was based solely on talent, I wouldn't worry about you.
Starting point is 01:15:15 which is really sweet. Yeah. He goes, but there's so much luck involved. And he's like, just give it a shot. He goes, but if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit. If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration. It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat.
Starting point is 01:15:38 Just hang in there. Yeah, it would not be. Right, it wouldn't be that. There's a lot of luck. Listen to Thanks Dad on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. You guys can call us if you want. Questions, comments. 877-Bobby.
Starting point is 01:15:57 A man impersonates a police officer to help his sister cheat on an exam. See, that's love. First of all, it's love. Second of all, if you get caught, it's stupid. That's love. I got to hear this story. Yeah. A guy was arrested for wearing a police uniform and impersonating a police officer to help his sister cheat on her standardized exam.
Starting point is 01:16:14 So this is one of those A-C-T-S-A-T type tests. And so he's 24. He has a police officer uniform that's not his apparently. And he went in and he planned to infiltrate the examination center
Starting point is 01:16:31 to supervise to make sure that the students were up to no good. And they caught him and they were like, bro, what's up? He's like, I'm just here to supervise. Well, cops don't usually supervise. I picture him with like a fake must
Starting point is 01:16:44 Like, oh, officer. Like flipping his baton. Yeah. What was he going to do? Walk by her and be like... Well, yes, they found a bunch of cheat sheets. Oh, man. They checked us pockets.
Starting point is 01:16:55 Once they realized who it was, they found a bunch of cheat sheets in his pockets. Wow. Like, that's love for your sister. Mm-hmm. Yeah. You can't do that. Unfair. But that's love.
Starting point is 01:17:03 To put on a police uniform and have cheat sheets. He's going to jail, right? Like, can't do that. You know, I don't know if it's a jail thing. Impersonated a police officer? Oh, that part's bad, yeah. Yeah. He'll get a ticket, community service.
Starting point is 01:17:13 Come on. I think. Listen, Jells are overcrowded anyway. All right. Yeah. But he'll get in trouble. But serving time for that. I guess he'll also get looked into, like, where else do you use this uniform?
Starting point is 01:17:25 Because maybe get the uniform. Yeah, I know. Parties. I just want to how ridiculous uniform was. I'd love to see it. Experts give perfect relationship timelines, meaning if you're in a relationship, this is when it all should happen. So I won't say what they say. I'll see what you say first.
Starting point is 01:17:43 How many dates until you hook up? one or two like what's hookup mean there's a lot of different terms yeah yeah a lot of different terms for doing it or making out
Starting point is 01:17:52 or just I just say hooking up I think hooking up could be anything more than just making out like body on body but it doesn't have to be naked oh two
Starting point is 01:18:02 do I can be naked I don't know three five dates Morgan I would say at least five around a twister yeah
Starting point is 01:18:11 hey easy fun five dates is what they say yeah Yeah, he twisted. We're hooking up. We're hoisted out of town. All right. All right.
Starting point is 01:18:19 Next up. How many weeks until you talk about politics and religion when dating someone? Oh, that's one, two. Yeah. At the beginning. You? One week. It's after the first day I bring it up.
Starting point is 01:18:34 I'd say three weeks. Second date, so two weeks. After you hook up. Yeah, then you got to find out like, okay, where are you staying? I feel like three weeks you've invested a lot of time about something that could really rip you apart. I also feel, yeah, me too now. I feel like you could go look at their Instagram and kind of see if they match what you are. And you have that initial feel-out conversation.
Starting point is 01:18:55 This says five weeks, but I say first. What? I say like, first, end of the first day, you can start feeling it out a little bit because you need to know that. Because if you're just not compatible in that space at all, it's hard for that relationship to happen and, like, develop. Yeah, she's like leaving your house back. Oh, before you go, who are you voting for in this coming election? But I think you can tell that way earlier, or at least you can throw a softbally question out there. How long until the boyfriend girlfriend title is used when you date someone? Morgan?
Starting point is 01:19:23 Oh, I mean, I've had it happen anywhere between one month and two months. So then we'll go with six weeks for you. If you're like between one and two, six weeks? Yeah. Amy? Yeah, a month. Eddie? Three months.
Starting point is 01:19:38 Three months. Lunchbox? A month and a half. Eight weeks. Oh, man. I'm killing this one. That's old-sull with Eddie. This is kind of old-school stuff, though.
Starting point is 01:19:50 This question is weird. No, no, eight weeks, Eddie, is two months. But I think I got the closest. Morgan got six weeks. Oh, okay, okay. To disclose a past criminal record, how long? Oh, wait. Like, you have to come out with it.
Starting point is 01:20:04 Like, how bad criminals? Like, we're talking armed robbery? I'm talking to wear a police uniform to get your sister out of taking a test. Right, right. That can come up way later. No. No. What?
Starting point is 01:20:13 Wearing a police uniform to get your sister out of a test. Something that's like a vandalism or public in talks. Oh, public and talks, you don't. Who cares? Right. But something like that. It's not like you're on the sex registry. That is an immediate.
Starting point is 01:20:29 That is an immediate. That's, yeah. I don't know. Sometimes I joke on the first day. I'm like, you ever been arrested? And I try and like just gently pull it out on the first date. Has anyone ever said yes? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:20:39 Some of them have been like I was public and talk. Like nothing crazy, you know, not murder. You think she's pulling those dudes at public and talks. Yeah, she likes. Morgan goes hard. Yeah, she definitely gets public and talks guys. She's drawn to those guys. Two months to disclose a past criminal record.
Starting point is 01:20:54 Oh, wow. How about talking about children? That's like first date. Whether you want them or you have them. I don't think it's about let's have a kid. I think it's like talking about what you want, what goals are with kids. Okay. Like a little more, a little deeper than do you want to have kids?
Starting point is 01:21:09 Eventually. When you become boyfriend girlfriend. So two months. Yeah. Morgan? No, second date. Because yours would be different. I'm when Morgan third date.
Starting point is 01:21:19 This is three and a half months. Oh, yeah, that's stupid. So you're already dating. And then before planning a trip, a long distance trip together. Oh, you can do that right away because then you find out if you like them or not. One month, one month. And then you hook up. You hook up and then see if you're compatible and get out.
Starting point is 01:21:36 Same thing. When you're official. So a couple months. When you're your criminal record, you just go on. four months they say. Four months. SWNS Digital News Service. It's a long one.
Starting point is 01:21:45 My body is killing me today. Yesterday we did this show. We flew to Stillwater, Oklahoma. We worked out with the softball team. We then went and I played pickleball and we went in the batting cage with a former major league player. Then we went and worked up with the baseball team.
Starting point is 01:22:01 And I just, my body hurts so bad. I forget that I'm getting older. My ankle hurts. My shoulder hurts. Your back was hurting. Everything hurts today. So how long are you going to keep this up? Forever until I die on the court or filled or diamond.
Starting point is 01:22:16 Well, Amy, athletes hurt too. We just go. It's part of our life. But I hurt so bad and I can't really go in and tell my wife that I'm hurting. Last night I was limping because my ankle's killing me. Oh yeah. When I last saw you, you were limping. So what did you do when you got in the house?
Starting point is 01:22:28 Tried not to limp. She goes, are you limping? I was like, no. You're talking about. And I turned the lights out because we didn't get into late. I turned the lights out before I even walked in the room. Smart. To try her to not see me when I was limping.
Starting point is 01:22:39 But we're like 12. And Eddie yesterday, we have these gold whistle chains that we have. And I was like, Eddie, don't wear this to go out and play ball. He goes, no, Major League Baseball players do. I said, but this is like a goal. He broke it as soon as he gets out there. Yeah, I slid Amy and I broke it. So, I.
Starting point is 01:22:55 There's no need to wear it. Are you Vladimir Guerrero? No, but, man, they do sometimes. Like, one guy slid at second and all his diamonds went everywhere. That was cool. I was like, don't wear your chain. Because I bought him for 25 whistles. Gold whistles with a gold chain.
Starting point is 01:23:09 Thank you, season two. Yeah, but why are you wearing it right now? Because I like it. We wear it all the time. Anytime anybody call,
Starting point is 01:23:15 foul somebody, I go, foul. Amy, he took that into a game. I didn't blow it down. Yeah, I know. I know. He tucked it under his shirt and then pulled it out.
Starting point is 01:23:24 Fowl for saying that. Me? Yep. I didn't say anything. I didn't like it. I don't like your tone. What? But I just like it
Starting point is 01:23:30 because I don't know. It's cool. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm a name on it. Yeah. So we are hurting. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:23:37 Today. I'm hurting today. It's hard to, you know. Feel bad for me because I chose to do it. I know, that's why you're to hide my limp. Yeah. This is like what y'all are choosing to do all the time. We have the greatest time.
Starting point is 01:23:48 It's great. I have a private show tonight, like a private comedy show tonight. I've got to fly over to Arkansas and do like an hour set for this private event. And I'm going to be limping. Well, make it part of your thing. Okay. How would I do that? Well, I don't know.
Starting point is 01:24:01 Surely you're going to work in some jokes about how you're just like. Tell me a joke I can work in. No. He's on the spot. I don't know if it would be funny at all, but like you can. Who are you speaking to you? Like what's their thing? A group of people.
Starting point is 01:24:13 I got it. You're not telling me their age or anything. You got to do the, I just flew in and boy, my arms are tired. Boom! And you're like, no, really, no really my arms are tired. No, my leg's broken, yes. I wouldn't recommend that, but something about how, you know, this is what you're doing to, I don't know, fill some void or stay young. That's that joke.
Starting point is 01:24:34 That's a joke. That's not very funny. I mean, that's more like you're taking a shot at Bobby's saying. help. Guys. Okay, thank you all. Shout to everybody in Stillwater. Great day, great day.
Starting point is 01:24:45 Are you going to wear your whistle on stage tonight? Okay, foul for being a jerk. No, no, are you? Three more fouls. You're out of the game. Wow. For real. That is a legit question. You're out of the game with three more fouls.
Starting point is 01:24:54 All right, thank you. I know this is going to be a bit dramatic, so bear with me. We talked on Friday show around this time. Morgan was interviewed by the Voyager magazine about inspiring stories. Lunchbox. He's got a little offended. No, I wasn't offended. But you started attacking her.
Starting point is 01:25:12 I just don't understand what's inspirational about her story. Like, I went and read some of the people's things, and they, like, created businesses, and they... It doesn't always have to be professional, regardless, not there. But what we're going to let him do is read her story when it comes out. Yeah. He can't add to it with words. He can use tone. But it's not out yet.
Starting point is 01:25:34 However, something I wanted to wait. Mike D.'s also been interviewed, too. at one point by the Voyager. Oh. Oh, Nashville Voyager hit him up too? Hey, Mike. So they're not interviewing stars. They're interviewing people that are behind the scenes that are like...
Starting point is 01:25:48 Mike D has... Mike, this movie, Mike, podcast is killing. Okay, that's fine. Mike, will you come to the microphone, please? Thank you. This has been... I remember this now. It's been a while ago.
Starting point is 01:25:59 Yeah, a couple years ago they reached out to me. And what was your story about? About being a first generation American, about how I lost 100 pounds, and then how I met you. That's inspiring. That's more inspirational than Morgan's. I mean, he has...
Starting point is 01:26:13 I didn't even mean Morgan's story yet. Her story is she grew up in Wichita with a great family and had everything given to her. And I graduated high school and I graduated high school. And I graduated in college. I mean, geez. I mean, wow. It's so inspirational. Mike, what do you?
Starting point is 01:26:26 Mike actually has a story. Being a first generation American, losing over 100 pounds. That's a story. That's actually... Morgan also has a story. Everybody has stories. We all have stories. What is your story, though, lunchbox?
Starting point is 01:26:38 Really. What is your inspiration? story, not prom king. You grew up in Austin, Texas with a great family. What adversity have been faced? Oh, my teachers didn't believe in me. My teachers didn't think I'd be anything. That's hard.
Starting point is 01:26:51 I mean, they told me that I wouldn't amount to anything. But were you trying to amount to anything? No. No. It's going to be on the real world. I didn't listen. Like, I wasn't there to amount to anything. I was there to be entertaining and have fun.
Starting point is 01:27:05 Like, that's what school was. I wasn't there to do their worksheet. trying hard and they're like you're never going to make it. That's different than if you're like, this all sucks and I'm not trying and they're like, you aren't trying. They were speaking the truth. Yeah, they were just saying what they said. I mean, Dr. Evans, my pre-cowl teacher, I didn't even take the, I wrote my name on the final
Starting point is 01:27:22 went up and said, hey, man, it's been a pleasure. And didn't even fill out one question on the thing. But don't you see? That would be why they would go, well, lunchbox. And this is what he said. Oh, boy. He said, I would love to be a fly on the wall in your first college classroom. Like, I'm like I was going to be so overwhelmed.
Starting point is 01:27:38 couldn't handle myself. Did you take your diploma back to him and be like, here you go, buddy. I don't have a diploma. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. But you did amount to something. You have amounted to something. But I have no idea. Like, I don't even know Dr. Evans. He was kind of older. But I also thought, I might be dead. You might be insulting a dead man. I also used to think, dude, if you think you are such hot crap, why aren't you teaching at college, Dr. Evans? Like, what are we doing? Why are you attacking him now? Oh, boy.
Starting point is 01:28:02 Because I always, I always didn't like him. I thought he's kind of a jerk. Yeah. But he might be dead. He might be. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. if he is. No, he's not peaceful right now if he's dead. Oh yeah, back back to Mike. You want to talk to back? No, no, no, we're good. But Morgan's, when the interview comes out, we'll let you read it since you're such a hater. There's no hating. But in the end, you just
Starting point is 01:28:19 want something about you more than it is. No. You don't? Okay. Did I not compliment Mike? I said that's an inspirational story. You don't know Morgan's story. Well, we will soon because he's going to read it. Yeah. He will. So you don't know her, like, have you ever sat down over an hour and just
Starting point is 01:28:37 had a long talk, dinner, learned about her specifically? Yeah, I do. How so? When's the last? About two weeks ago, I did Best Bits and I talked to her. On the air? Yeah, yeah. Okay.
Starting point is 01:28:49 Have you ever personally with no microphones, no work sat with Morgan and just got to know her in a better way? Yeah, every once in a while in the classroom, like when we're taking a, like, during commercials we're grabbing a snack. Like, I'll talk to her. Hey, yeah, how are you doing? How's your day? You just tell me about your life. Oh, you don't ask me, just tell? Oh, no.
Starting point is 01:29:07 You're telling her like, this is what the kids did today. Yeah, I got a lot going on, man. What does she do? She goes home to her dog and cat. And talks to her good family back in Wichita. Exactly. Which, speaking of, her dog is a therapy dog where she takes out and uses her time to volunteer. I mean, I've never volunteered.
Starting point is 01:29:23 You have. Exactly. Exactly. But Amy was pointing out. We weren't comparing the two. Amy was. She was like, no, she was just saying, it doesn't matter. Morgan, when your story comes out, I can't wait to read it.
Starting point is 01:29:32 Thank you. Mike D. Great story. We can link yours up today and Lunchbox. when Morgans comes out, you can read it as is, and then you can give us your thoughts after it. You just can't manipulate it during it. I would never manipulate.
Starting point is 01:29:46 Do you know what to manipulate means? Yeah. Mess with. Yes, you're absolutely going to mess with it. And you're allowing to have tone? Is that what it? He can tone it. Especially tone is manipulation.
Starting point is 01:29:59 But tone's okay. He just can't change the words. Okay. Okay. Well, this is a bit I did not expect to be looking forward to. Lobby Bones Show. This story of the day. This story comes us from Ireland.
Starting point is 01:30:11 A 36-year-old woman was hurt on the job a couple years ago, said, hey, I need to be paid out. My back, my neck. I can't work. I can't even take out the trash. I can't play with my kids. She won an $800,000. Me too.
Starting point is 01:30:23 So she's been going to court trying to get that workers' comp. Only problem is someone posted a picture of her in a Christmas tree-throwing competition. She's keeping the tree. How ridiculous of a competition? to get into it. Exactly. Like, I get it. You're changing your tire.
Starting point is 01:30:40 Sometimes that happens. You got a flat and you see a dude changing his tire on the side of the road. Someone gets a video. I thought he was hurt. But you got to change your tire. You don't have to toss trees. That's hilarious. And she told the judge, you think I'm having fun there?
Starting point is 01:30:52 I'm in excruciating pain when I'm throwing the tree. But she signed up for it voluntarily. We don't know that. That's crazy. Okay, go ahead. I'm Lunchbox. That's your Bonehead Story of the Day. Basically, they believe that.
Starting point is 01:31:06 But humans, 25 million years ago had little tails, and because we didn't need them, evolution. And there's been a lot of things about humans that have changed internally, externally. But we don't have tails anymore because of that. Wait, wait one more. Well, excuse me? I know where this is going. I think Amy got lost in evolution. Amy still has her tail.
Starting point is 01:31:27 Because her butt bone. My tail bone. Yeah, it comes up. What's a difference? It's a butt bone, Amy. Sorry, doctor. But we're talking about tail bones. Nobody calls it the butt bone.
Starting point is 01:31:39 It's the bottom. I do. You do? And he's a doctor. If you land on your butt bone, that hurts. It's your tail bone. But okay. Do you have a butt or a tail?
Starting point is 01:31:48 I have a tail bone. Amy has a tail. Okay. It's actually called, if you want to be, it's called like the coxics, if you want to be serious about it. Excuse me. Yes, my coxas, you're right.
Starting point is 01:31:56 If we want to talk about it in the lab. I don't like that word yet. I've heard that it is my coxist that is Dixal. Yeah, C-O-C-Y-X. So do you think that? evolution just lost you? No. Is it still stick out?
Starting point is 01:32:10 When someone scratches your head, does it still move? Doctors have told me that I am normal, and I'm not the only one. Listeners have also reached out that their tailbone is similar to mine. What if y'all are the odd ones? When they reach out, do you guys compare caucuses? Coxuses, no. You measure your coxas? No.
Starting point is 01:32:28 Yeah, that's the tailbone. And Amy's, when she stands up, you can see, it looks like it pokes down to the bottom of her pants. can see it. Wow. And it grows. It doesn't grow. When she gets excited, it looks like her butt's jiggling. So here's a, here's a fun fact. If I'm like, Amy, you've been a good girl today. When I'm out of alignment, my back is out of alignment, it could stick out. Sometimes it does stick out a little bit further because I'm twisted a little bit. Sometimes when I pick up a ball, you'll see it, her tail start to wag because she knows I might throw it. Yeah. She gets so excited. It is. It is interesting. It is, yeah, it's interesting. And it's, it's, it's annoying to be. It's, it's annoying to
Starting point is 01:33:06 me, like sometimes sitting for long periods of time or painful, I can't do the boat pose at yoga. Oh, God. Oh, no. But see, this is, this is... That's a Disney Plus. I'm waiting to happen once you meet that tragedy. But this is before I knew I was different. I never talked about it that much with people. And I always wondered how people could hold the boat pose
Starting point is 01:33:20 so long in yoga and not be in any kind of pain, because I would always have to tap out. All the, all the people with tails. And then once I realized, I was like, oh, cool, I don't even have to do the boat pose at yoga anymore. Like, I don't even know what the boat pose is. That's where... Like, this... I imagine is something on your...
Starting point is 01:33:36 on your butt bone, but I don't know. You're like balancing on your, like you like to call it, your butt bone. And then your hands and your legs are held in the air, and you're using your core. And I always felt like, what is wrong? Because my tailbone was just burning. And so then I learned, too, I could also fold my mat in half to give me extra cushion. Favorite song? Shake your tail feather.
Starting point is 01:33:55 Yeah. Yeah. Favorite side of the coin? Tails. Who let the dogs out? He likes that one. What? Favorite cartoon movie, an American tale.
Starting point is 01:34:05 Oh. Good. Duck Tales was good to you. Good cartoon. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. That's from the New York Post. I can play along with y'all. I'm not.
Starting point is 01:34:12 I... When you have to yell, I can play along with you all. Then you go into a stutter right after. We're proud of you, though. You've really fought adversity. Thanks. Your whole life. That's awesome.
Starting point is 01:34:22 That's it for now. We'll see you tomorrow. Bye, buddy. The morning corny. What do you call it when a group of apes start a business? What do you call it when a group of apes start a business? Dang. I want to redo it.
Starting point is 01:34:38 I said it wrong. I said it wrong. What do you call it when a group of apes start a company? Monkey business. Monkey business. Because you don't want to say business twice. Right, right, right. Okay.
Starting point is 01:34:51 Stop. Save that, though. The morning corny. What kind of drink can be bitter and sweet? What kind of drink can be bitter and sweet? Struggle bus. Oh my God, do we do it again? I don't like that one.
Starting point is 01:35:06 It's two in a row. I don't like that one at all. Just to everybody. Everybody knows, listen to the podcast. It's so bad. This is kind of what happens sometimes. We're recording from my house, and so we're getting ahead of about like five minutes, and sometimes this happens.
Starting point is 01:35:20 Yeah, it's bad. Okay, save this too, put it on after the monkey business one. If I don't get it. All right. See tomorrow. Bye. A win is a win. A win is a win.
