Starting point is 00:00:00 This is an I-Heart podcast. Guaranteed human. A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care what you're saying. Yep, that's me, Clifford Taylor the 4th. You might have seen the skits,
Starting point is 00:00:13 my basketball and college football journey, or my career in sports media. Well, now I'm bringing all of that excitement to my brand new podcast, the Clifford Show. This is a place for raw, unfilled conversations with athletes, creators, and voices that not only deserve to be heard, but celebrated.
Starting point is 00:00:28 So let's get to it. Listen to the Clifford show on the IHard Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. And for more behind the scenes, follow at Clifford and at TikTok Podcast Network on TikTok. On paper, the three hosts of the Nick Dick & Poll show are geniuses. We can explain how AI works, data centers, but there are certain things that we don't necessarily understand. Better version of Play Stupid Games, win Stupid Prizes. Yes. Which, by the way, wasn't Taylor Swift, who said that for the first time.
Starting point is 00:00:58 I actually, I thought it was. I got that wrong. But hey, no one's perfect. We're pretty close, though. Listen to the Nick, Dick, and Paul show on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. This is Amy Rovok alongside T.J. Holmes from the Amy and T.J. podcast. And there is so much news, information, commentary coming at you all day and from all over the place. What's fact? What's fake?
Starting point is 00:01:22 And sometimes what the F. So let's cut the crap, okay? Follow the Amy and T.J. A one-stop news and pop culture shop to get you caught up and on with your day. And listen to Amy and TJ on the IHeart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you listen to podcasts. Hey, welcome to Tuesday show. Morning, studio. Morning. Amy, your voice is still not good.
Starting point is 00:01:57 Just dealing with it. I didn't yell morning, so I don't strain it. I've been sick, too, for like seven, eight days. I can't get rid of this cough. And Amy can't get her voice completely back. We've had people, I mean, we got the bug running through this place. The lunchbox is his eye, he finally looks better. Finally looks better.
Starting point is 00:02:15 Oh, Drew Pie. Is that what I'm called? Just behind your back. That's cool. That's what we've been called. We've been not called you that. So here's what we're going to do. Amy, you can answer yours quickly, okay?
Starting point is 00:02:27 The question's going to be. This is going to be good practice. Yeah. Oh, for life. Yeah. And then we're like, we wish your voice was always hurt. Just kidding, Amy. Just kidding.
Starting point is 00:02:34 I know. Okay. I do want to be more concise, though. Hey, stop talking, Amy. Yeah. Save it. The question for the room is something new that you're trying in your life right now.
Starting point is 00:02:44 It can be anything. Something new that you're doing, you're experiencing, you're trying. What's something new? And I'll go first as usual with these questions since I know the question and I'll give you time to think about it.
Starting point is 00:02:57 I'm trying to be a robe guy. You're wearing robes? Got a robe. Really? I didn't buy it. My wife bought it. And she was like, hey, I bought you a robe. It's a nice robe.
Starting point is 00:03:07 And it's very comfortable. and you can wear it when you get out of the shower and just wear it around. And I've worn it for a couple days and it's pretty awesome. How long are you wearing that rope? Well, I put it after a shower at night and then I don't take it off until I go to bed. I can't. I can't picture you're in a row. It's an all white robe.
Starting point is 00:03:24 What's under there? I'm like a unicorn. Just me I'm on underwear. I don't go naked under there. Wait, in the point of a road to be naked? The point of the rope for me is somebody knocked on the door and you got to throw something on real quick. Okay. Usually I wear shorts and a cut off.
Starting point is 00:03:35 That's what I wear all the time. Even when I'm not going to bed. So, but I'm trying to be a robe guy. You wearing slippers too? No, barefoot. I hate to knock you. I don't want to knock you because. You do want to knock me, but I'm okay with it.
Starting point is 00:03:46 Go ahead. No, no, but like when you're at a hotel and they got a robe in there, I definitely get up in it. Those are nice robes. You don't steal it. Oh, they're expensive. Oh, they charge you for those? Yeah, they would know. Got it.
Starting point is 00:03:59 Like a towel, they don't know. Like, there's so many towels. But you can sew all the towels together and make your own robe? Because you ask the maid, like, oh, can I just get some extra towels? They don't know which room got extra towels. So you can steal those. but a robe they know. You're not supposed to still.
Starting point is 00:04:09 Everybody listening. You're not supposed to still tells. But yes, I hear you. Yeah. I'm trying to be robe guy. That's new to my life right now. We're in a robe. I kind of enjoy it.
Starting point is 00:04:15 Eddie. I'm starting to be smoothie guy. Oh, yeah. So I've never liked smoothies because I always, I like milkshakes. Moves are awesome. I like sweet and real milk and sugary stuff. So smoothies to me was like, oh, it's just fruit. Like, that's not that good.
Starting point is 00:04:30 But, man, I've found a couple of recipes online. I've got a protein smoothie. I've got a juice smoothie. And I've got a veggie smoothie. And I've got a veggie. smoothie and dude. Oh, veggie. They're all pretty good.
Starting point is 00:04:41 You put a little honey on top of that and it all tastes really, really good. That smoothie guy. Yeah, I'm starting to be smoothie guy. I got a robe guy. We got a smoothie guy. Lunchbox, too. Oh, yeah. I wanted to make fun, Eddie, but I won't.
Starting point is 00:04:50 Thank you. I am new soccer team guy. I got the email. I signed up free agent because my last team kind of. They booted you. Send me on my way. Out to pasture. They thought, okay, he's going to retire.
Starting point is 00:05:03 Out of pasture. And I said, nope, I'm 41 years old. I'm going to sign up free agent. and I got an email from the league saying, you have been assigned to a team, your captain will be in touch, and your season starts in a week. And so waiting for that captain to email me and say,
Starting point is 00:05:17 thanks for giving us a 41-year-old on our team. Can't wait to have you. I think it's cool that you're still wanting to play and you'll go through the uncomfortable process of playing with people you don't know. Yeah. I think it's pretty cool. I don't know that I don't know that I would do that.
Starting point is 00:05:29 Because what's the average age of players? I don't even care about the age. 26, 27. But it's playing with the much people you don't know. But he's been doing that for a year. But you're like Tom Brady to them. You know, he was older than those other. 100%.
Starting point is 00:05:39 But Tom Brady has Super Bowls. Like, I have championships. Okay. Hey, he's got a couple reclake championships. I do. Well, I'm glad you doing that. I think that's pretty cool. That's pretty cool.
Starting point is 00:05:47 Okay. Amy, what you got? What are you? How new? Well, you got a new robe guy. Mine's the last couple weeks. You got smoothie guy. Three weeks, probably.
Starting point is 00:05:54 You got new soccer team guy. Okay. Well, there's something that I've been doing in the last three months. Okay. That's fine. Okay. I meditate every day. Before work?
Starting point is 00:06:04 Yes. How do you not fall asleep? What about when you drive? Wow. No, no, no, no, don't when you drive. We're going to do that. Sometimes I listen to one. But I don't close, I know, I don't close my eyes.
Starting point is 00:06:13 She closes one eye. No, no, no, no. It's not recommended while driving. But, yeah, no, I just had to set my alarm earlier. And I, it's, even if it's five minutes, it still counts. And I think that's what I always used to ride off. Like, oh, I'm like, I can't meditate for 30 minutes. But.
Starting point is 00:06:30 I think that's great. That's super healthy. Might as well not do it. I've tried. I struggle. I'm not going to say I can't do it. I think I probably haven't invested enough time into trying to get better at it. But, you know, it's me.
Starting point is 00:06:39 I got 10 million thoughts and I can't ever just like put them together. I can. I shouldn't say can't. That's not a good word. But in the morning, I would fall back asleep. Well, okay, I struggle with the thoughts too. So I do a guided meditation, but also most of the people that I've been using their videos to guide me or audio, they say you're going to have thoughts that pop in all the time.
Starting point is 00:07:01 Recognize them and then release them. I will start going down little wormholes. I'll listen to a guide of meditation. Like, okay, you're going to do. And then I start to go, I wonder how much they get paid the voices over? And I leave all the thoughts of what I already had. And it's like,
Starting point is 00:07:14 and do they sign a contract? Are they working from a home studio like I have? Maybe I could do some of it. It just goes in ways I never planned. And how can you just dismiss it, Amy? Like, do you just say, all right, no more thinking of that. I just say, okay, I recognize that thought. And I release it.
Starting point is 00:07:29 And the more you practice it, they say just the more you practice it, then you'll get to a point where it'll be, you know, easier for you. But even the experts say they still have to, like, have the thoughts and release them. And that gave me that permission of like, oh, because I just had the wrong idea of meditation, I guess. I got hypnotized a few months ago. Did it work, like, real, real? Did you go somewhere else?
Starting point is 00:07:52 I just casually saying that. I can tell you about it later. Oh, I want to hear about this. I forgot I hadn't talked about this. Interesting. Yeah, I got hypnotized. I didn't know that worked. Bye.
Starting point is 00:08:03 Hypnotistist. Cool, cool Did you go do the thing? No You went to the circus? Oh, okay. I just went to the circus. Yes, I don't know what thing you're talking about at all
Starting point is 00:08:13 And no, I did not. It's not even hypnotist as a doctor. Oh. Oh. Oh. The psychotherapist. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:20 But they don't do the watch. You went to a psych ward? Yes. Yeah, they put me one of those jackets, bro. I kick him arms out. And I kept running into this wall, like trying to get them to hear me, but it's so they couldn't hear me. Psychotherapist, that sounds crazy, but they're not crazy.
Starting point is 00:08:32 That's, I don't want to use that word. It sounds more intense than like a therapist, but most of mine have been psychotherapist. Yeah, well, it's a doctor. Yeah. Yeah. It's a doctor who can prescribe stuff versus a therapist who is trained to. That's a psychologist. Well, whatever.
Starting point is 00:08:45 I don't care. I'll say it about it later, maybe. Like later today? Like, what are we talking? Watch this, though. Say a letter that starts with L. Say it? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:53 Love. Oh. What? I didn't know. Lobster. Oh! Sorry, I just looked like a chicken randomly. What is happening?
Starting point is 00:09:02 Linguini. No, it's not that kind. Okay, thank you. Let's get the show started. We got robe guy, we got smoothie guy, we got soccer guy, and we got... What is it? Meditate. Meditation girl. Yeah. That's like the worst superhero group ever.
Starting point is 00:09:19 I'm broke, man. I am meditation girl. Let's open up the mailbag. You send an email and we read it all the air. It's something we call Bobby Mailbag. Hello, Bobby Bones. getting married next month, trying to pick out the best wedding reception entrance song for when we enter our reception as the new Mr. and Mrs.
Starting point is 00:09:42 These are three songs we're considering. We've heard you talk about wedding songs before, but we want you to pick our song for this occasion. We'd love to know what you think. Thanks, Julie, the Mrs. All right, here are the three songs. Number one is Steve you wonder, signed, sealed, delivered. I want to do it like I'm introducing then.
Starting point is 00:10:03 Let's say here. There we go. We'll call them Mr. and Misses. but, okay. What? Hey, please. Oh my God. Okay, here we go.
Starting point is 00:10:16 Here we go, right. Here we go, very good. Please welcome for the first time. Mr. and Mrs. Bud! Yeah, I feel that. I go all the way down here, back to zero. You're staying with butt? I am.
Starting point is 00:10:33 He said, he was first one to have a name. I was going to sit like Johnson or Smith. But okay. Please welcome. And this is We Found Love by Rihanna. Please welcome for the first time ever as a married couple, Mr. and Mrs. Butt. And then... One more option.
Starting point is 00:10:56 For the first time ever as husband and wife, please welcome Mr. and Mrs. Butt. Want to tell George. Can we all eliminate Rihanna and we found love? I like that one. I didn't see anyone react like that was the one. Does anyone think that's the one? No. Okay.
Starting point is 00:11:17 So it's between two songs. It's like old school Stevie Wonder. Here I am, baby. Sign seal delivered. I'm yours. That's a good one. Or this is how we do it. Okay, good, good, good.
Starting point is 00:11:29 Mr. and Mrs. Butt. Here's a second one. Mr. and Mrs. Butt. You got it? Yeah, let's vote. And Amy. Stevie. Tinder.
Starting point is 00:11:44 Signs out of the lunchbox. I think it's really up to the butts, but I am going to go with sign sealed delivered. Mm-hmm. Mm-mm. Eddie? Sign sealed deliver. I mean, that's like all about like, hey, you're getting married.
Starting point is 00:11:55 It's done. Like, I'm yours. Morgan. I was going to go, this is how we do it. Because it's like a vibe. You're getting the party started. And you're all the butts. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:03 This is how we do it. Mr. Mr. But. I think it's Stevie Wonder, signs he'll deliver. There's energy. They're both good.
Starting point is 00:12:12 There's energy. Everybody knows a song. It's fun. It's friendly. And then we hope the butts have it just a wonderful life. And it's also like representing so official. Yeah. Science.
Starting point is 00:12:23 sealed delivered. I'm yours. Boom. There you go. Okay, good. Congratulations. I hope the butts really have a wonderful life. Yep. Many, many years. Both the butts. Yep. Not just one. Yeah. Both the butts. We got your email and we let it on the air.
Starting point is 00:12:40 Now it's time to close. Bobby's male back. They asked a whole lot of women. Women answer the question, Amy. Not me, not us guys. So before I give you what the general consensus is, where women, between the ages of 18 and 65, or ask these questions, I want to know what you think. Okay?
Starting point is 00:12:58 Okay. Now, I think, before I give, I'll play along with a bit too. I think if something makes you feel good, you want to wear it, go for it. Just generally speaking, you want to wear it, great. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:08 No limitations that makes you feel good. You go do the thing. I don't know if that really counts for everything. I feel generally that's the rule. But there's certain clothes, you know, I'm wearing. So my answering as to whether or not I feel like women in general,
Starting point is 00:13:22 or would I do it? Oh, that's a good question. Because I'm not, there's... Let's do you then so you don't feel like you're talking about other women. Right, because I'm not judged... I wouldn't... If I might not do something, it doesn't mean I'm judging someone else that does. Okay, good.
Starting point is 00:13:33 Okay. 2,000 women between the ages of 18 and 65 were surveyed on when women should stop wearing certain items. Okay. When should women stop wearing mini skirts? Okay. Never. Amy. Is there an age?
Starting point is 00:13:50 On here, there's an age, yes. But your answer for you would be... I mean, I'm 42. But mini skirts isn't like tiny tiny. It's like micro skirt. Mini, mini, mini. No. No. It's just not a long skirt.
Starting point is 00:14:02 Like, I went to Pentecostal church for a while when I was a kid. And those skirts are not mini skirts. Okay. Those are long skirts. Ankle skirts. Yes. Now, I would say mini is like lower than the thigh, but not down to the knee. Okay.
Starting point is 00:14:14 Yeah, I'm fine with that. Don't limit me. Okay, don't limit her, she said. I have a feeling she's going to be, walk this track the whole time? No. We'll see. Okay. Mini skirts.
Starting point is 00:14:24 Eddie, when should women stop wearing them? 49. Lunch box? Like, Carrie Underwood can still wear it. Yeah. And how old's care? General women. 35.
Starting point is 00:14:35 The answer's 35. Women said 35. I think Carrie's old than 35, right? Well, I'm just saying, like, he said, he made a great point. He said the, and so that's why I had to say 35. Of the 2,000 women, most of them said the average came out to 35 years old, no more miniskirts. Wow. I know.
Starting point is 00:14:51 I know women. All right, next up. I know you don't. Revealing low-cut shirts So like you can see some of the belly? No, low-cut would be to see some of the boobs. Oh, I like those. Got, got it, got it, got it.
Starting point is 00:15:04 So revealing low-cut shirts, when should women stop wearing that according to these women? Amy. How many kids do you have? That's a great point. 40. 40, wow. Eddie? 35.
Starting point is 00:15:21 Oh, lunch rocks. 32. I would have said older than that. Really? Yeah, what's the oldest thing that you guys said? It was me. 40? Oh, it could be older than that.
Starting point is 00:15:33 Yeah. The answer that they say is 52. Okay. I would have said 45 or 46. 52 is pushing it. I mean, there's exceptions to the rule, but most 52-year-olds... We're not talking about exceptions, though. Yeah, I know, but most 52-year-olds can't do that.
Starting point is 00:15:47 They've seen a lot of sun, you know what I mean? A lot of sun. What? Okay, here we go. 2000 women were asked. When should you stop wearing leather pants? Oh. Never.
Starting point is 00:15:58 Oh, I mean, that's really simple. Never. Okay. Amy, you? You're never going to stop? No. Okay. Eddie? 30.
Starting point is 00:16:04 30. Yeah, I'd probably say if I were guessing 40. I mean, you see a 45-year-old woman in leather pants, you're like, all right, come on. Even 40's young. Y'all, that's basically me. Yeah, exactly. Amy. I'm telling you something.
Starting point is 00:16:19 Stop wearing the leather. The answer's 34. Yeah, there you go. Right there. Come on. Oh, my gosh. The women and us are agreeing. That's crazy, lunchbox.
Starting point is 00:16:28 We know what's up, do we do? We know women. Stilettos. Oh, that's the high heels? Really high heels. I mean, based off of just back pain a long time ago. But I still do it. And I'll keep on.
Starting point is 00:16:43 Never. Never. See? No, because I hope it's 60. I still can rock a good pair of heels. Absolutely. Okay. Eddie, 48.
Starting point is 00:16:52 Lunch bikes. 28. You don't think a 20. nine-year-olds wear stilettos? Like high heels? You're talking about the see-through ones, right? That's what those are? No.
Starting point is 00:17:03 That's the dancers one. That's the only ones I know. It's a pump. You know what I'm talking about? You know what I'm talking about? You're talking about the shoe? Like a jelly shoe? No, no, they're like high heels, but they're see-through on the bottom.
Starting point is 00:17:17 Like they're... Okay, so that could be a... All stilettos aren't see-through, but there could be see-through stiletto. You're talking about what the dancers wear, dude. I don't know what... That's the only ones I know. Okay. So you say...
Starting point is 00:17:29 28. Okay. 51 is the answer. Oh, wow. There can be black, still at those lunchbox, red. Didn't know that. The clear ones. A couple more.
Starting point is 00:17:38 Big hair extensions. Oh. Big. Long, big. It says big hair. Big hair extensions. As long as you want. Okay.
Starting point is 00:17:49 Yeah. I'll go 50. 43. 48. According to these one. Okay. Man, we're closed lunchbox. I know.
Starting point is 00:17:55 So suddenly. at 49 you're just supposed to take your extension? I mean, that's in life, yes. But it's an average, so no, I don't think they say it cut off, but it's all these women, 2,000 of them, they gave their answers and they averaged it out. You know what that's making me feel like? A woman.
Starting point is 00:18:11 Let's go, girls. No, but that I feel like I look a certain way. Like, say, because, like, I heart festival, or I heart country festival, something. Like, we get dressed up, we dress a certain way, and I feel like now I'm going to be like, I feel as though I look a certain way, but basically everybody else is like, she should not be.
Starting point is 00:18:30 Hello, fellow kids. Yeah. Huh. Because, I mean, I plan on, think about it. Greetings, fellow kids. We're going to be doing this show for, we're going to be older. Who? How long do you think we're going to be doing, like how many more years?
Starting point is 00:18:45 Like, we could easily be 50 doing this show. We easily could. I don't know. That would be your past this year. Could be October, Amy. Well, I'm thinking positively. and what does this have to do
Starting point is 00:18:58 with your clear stilettos? That really had to bring this down. That's a great point, Annie. Last one, last one. Come on. A woman should not wear a bikini. Thong bikini. What?
Starting point is 00:19:07 Thong bikini. We didn't go thong. A woman shouldn't wear a bikini after she is blank. Oh, she is. What age? This is, no. She can, however, whatever she wants. A woman should not wear a bikini.
Starting point is 00:19:19 Yes, Amy, the answer is whatever they want always. I agree. If it makes you feel good, do it. But we're playing, we're, we're, doing this because Okay, so people probably said 75. No, they did not.
Starting point is 00:19:29 No, they did not. Amy, stop that. A woman should not wear a bikini after she is blank. According to the 2000 women, go ahead. 42. Eddie? 36.
Starting point is 00:19:41 Then you can start going full body. Bobby. If I were to have to put a number on it, 55. Whoa. Don't stop that. If I were to have to put a number on it, stop that.
Starting point is 00:19:51 Y'all don't even know what 55. I know what 55 looks like. I know 55 years. 55 is still. The answer is 47. Okay. I was close. Right.
Starting point is 00:19:59 What were you going to say? Nothing. Okay. My out point is. Everyone's different. We're all going to be older than we are. I don't think that this age is old. I don't think.
Starting point is 00:20:08 Well, we never think we're old when we're in it. But when I was in third grade, I thought a 10th grader was old as dirt. When I got to 10th grade, I was like, man, they're in college. They're so old. When I turned 30, I was like, life's over. Now I'm old. But I'd be like, these people are 40. At least I'm not that.
Starting point is 00:20:24 Well, here I am. That keeps going. You're going to be like hosting Iheart fest in your leather pants. And I'm going to be right next to you of my miniskirt. I don't wear leather pants. The clear stilettos. I've never worn leather pants. Bobby's never worn leather pants.
Starting point is 00:20:39 I was too old. You know what I'm just giving an example. Hey, what's too old for men? Play that game. That's the next segment. For what? Men for what? Yeah, we don't really.
Starting point is 00:20:51 For wearing tennis shoes? I mean, you can go backwards hat. Yeah, we can do that. No, I like that. jerseys. You know, there's those. Those only aren't that in something as much as the other ones are. Okay, Amy, thank you for your patience and time.
Starting point is 00:21:03 Yes. You guys, I don't know. I apologize. Take a break. No, I apologize to all the women listening. No, we didn't do anything wrong. What are you talking about? There's a survey out about with women.
Starting point is 00:21:13 You don't think these two? No, what are you playing a game? What did we say? What did we say that was wrong? Name one thing. Amy, what do you expect from them? It's all of the expectations being said. I didn't expect with them to come in and really, you know, give some
Starting point is 00:21:25 real perspective on life and aging. You ask me a question. I'm going to answer for you. It's time for the good news. With producer Eddie. Yeah, home there's something good. It's 10 p.m. in Pennsylvania and 12-year-old Bennett Campbell's been at the park with his buddies. Walking back to his house in the neighborhood, he smells fire. What is that?
Starting point is 00:21:45 It's his neighbor's house. It's on fire. The back of it is engulfed in flames. So Bennett reacts quickly. He goes to the door, starts knocking on the door. Nobody's answering. Oh, my gosh. It's late, too, right?
Starting point is 00:21:55 10 p.m. Yeah, it's pretty late. knocks again, rings the doorbell, nobody. He kicks the door down. Man, just to do that, I wouldn't have the guts. I'd be like, well, I guess it's going to burn. And I'll remind you, he's 12 years old. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:06 Kicks the door down. And he says, wake up. Your house is on fire. There's a dad asleep in there with two of his kids. They wake up just because Bennett told him to wake up. They got out of the house safely. Big fire, huh? Man, they lost the house.
Starting point is 00:22:18 Yeah, it's crazy. But they're safe. I can't believe everybody's asleep at 10. I know. It's pretty early. Maybe they have jobs like us. We're asleep by 10. Sometimes.
Starting point is 00:22:27 Yeah, yeah. But I'm so scared of people robbing me or breaking in or killing me that anything wakes me up. If Bennett's knocking on my door, I probably... Who's knocking on the door? Yeah, you hear that. You saved a place once. Well, yeah, I thought it was on fire, but it ended up being one of those tobacco smokehouses. And so I saw it.
Starting point is 00:22:46 It was like a barn. And I was like, oh, my gosh, that's on fire. I pulled over. There's a house nearby. I knock on the door. Nothing. Nothing. No.
Starting point is 00:22:53 I'm like, wake up. It's noon. But wake up. The house is on fire. Then I run to the road and there's a truck there and he's like, what are you doing? He's like, dude, that barn's on fire. He's like, that's a tobacco smoke house, you idiot. You tried.
Starting point is 00:23:04 Your heart was in the right place. I tried to save someone. Garth Brooks went into a house and wanted to save people. That was legit. In Oklahoma. And he downplays it so much. But he was driving by. I was on fire.
Starting point is 00:23:15 Wake up. Wake up. I don't know if he keeps going to wake up. Was he standing outside the fire? Well, he went in it for a second because they called him brave. He was a guy who knocked on the door. He wasn't scared of a fire no more And he saved little Timmy
Starting point is 00:23:33 And his dog named Rumbo And they ran They got in their truck and drove off They left the fire behind Is that song really about that? Yeah, that's what he wrote it about Standing outside the fire man Standing outside the fire
Starting point is 00:23:52 No, it's not about that at all But the Garth Brooks breaking in is not because the choir is a true story. He was so confused. And I was like, I know the song and then I was like, wow, I never realized it was about the time he. The extra verse. It's like thunder rolls. Eddie, good story.
Starting point is 00:24:08 Thank you. That's great. That's what it's all about. That was tell me something good. A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care what I'm saying. Yep, that's me.

We share stories and scientific insights to help us all better navigate these periods of turbulence and transformation. There is one finding that is consistent, and that is that our resilience rests on our relationship. I wish that I hadn't resisted for so long the need to change.
Starting point is 00:26:26 We have to be willing to live with a kind of uncertainty that none of us likes. Listen to a slight change of plans on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. It's time to play the feud! Now, I do have $15 right here. You guys can play for that. Starting point is 00:27:13 Mike D. Rolls the dice. Mike D. are you ready? And who is going first? Eddie. Eddie, you go first. The category is best food combinations. Okay. We ask 2,000 of our listeners.
Starting point is 00:27:25 What's the best food combination? Two things going together. Maybe three, but the best food combination. Eddie, you're going. All right, first one, mac and cheese. Show me macaroni and cheeseroni. That is correct. Number two.
Starting point is 00:27:39 You got two points there. Go ahead. Second one, spaghetti and meatballs. Show me spaghetti and meatballs. Didn't make the list. Oh, my goodness. We asked 2,000 more listeners on our Facebook page. And then we delete it right after in case you guys want to cheat the game.
Starting point is 00:27:55 I'm struggling. Best. Food combinations, Amy. Burger and fries. Burger and fries. Show me a burger and fries. Wow, wow, wow, wow. Lunch box.
Starting point is 00:28:09 Chips and salsa. Chips and salsa. That's good. Number four answer, have yourself four points. That's all I got. Okay. What in the heck else goes together? Got eight more answers on the board.
Starting point is 00:28:27 Macaroni and cheese off the board. Chips and salsa. also off the board. As 2,000 listeners, what's your favorite food combo? Peanut butter jelly. P, B, and J. Number one answer. So good. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:44 Yeah. Sounds like he's testing a microphone. Check, check. Check one, two. Can you hear me in the back? All right. Give me cereal and milk. Pretty good.
Starting point is 00:28:59 That is good. That is good. Cereal and milk. Show me that. Lunchbox in the lead, five points. Eddie, two, Amy, zero. We're the second round of three. Points are doubled.
Starting point is 00:29:13 Eddie. I'm going to go bacon and eggs. Jovey. Not bad. I get it. Bacon and eggs come in. And number five, that's worth ten points. This is a long shot.
Starting point is 00:29:31 There's a long shot, but every time I have wings, I want beer. So give me beer and wings. give him beer and wings you get 12 points though the game remember you're playing for $15 or the mystery prize oh what is that it says hey it's a card of some sort
Starting point is 00:29:53 credit card no you're only giving your credit card but it's a card of some sort okay that's all I'm gonna say okay look whoa whoa whoa I think I saw something okay Amy over to you best food combinations I love this.
Starting point is 00:30:12 Cheez and Crackers. Show her. Cheez and crackers. Number seven answer was 14 points. Amy takes the lead. Good job. Good job. Thank you. Everybody loves milk and cookies.
Starting point is 00:30:26 Milk and cookies. Oh, good. Yes. That's taken off. That's number three. That's over. That's over. I'll read you these off the board.
Starting point is 00:30:33 It is far from over. Pater butter and jelly was your number one answer. Number two is macaroni and cheese. Number three was cookies and milk. Number four with chips and sauce. The number five was baking and eggs. The only other one off the board is at number seven, cheese and crackers. There is still a ton of points on the board.
Starting point is 00:30:50 Amy, you have 6, 8, 9, and 10 left. Best food combinations. What do you have? Rice and beans. Show a rice and beans. I like that, Amy. That was good, Amy. My whole life.
Starting point is 00:31:01 Lunchbox. You've been sitting over there thinking, writing, thinking, writing. Yeah, and Amy nailed my cheese and crackers. That was my one I wrote down. Let it go, though, man. Let's go. Best food combination. Soup and salad.
Starting point is 00:31:14 Wow. Okay. Soup and salad. Big. All soup and salad? What man. Wow. Point totals are tripled for the final round.
Starting point is 00:31:28 There are so many points on the board. Any best food combination. Man, it came to me when he said soup and salad. I don't know why. But let's go on over to the other side of the pond. Give me fish and chips. Come on. Fish and chips, please?
Starting point is 00:31:42 Do you think our listeners are going to answer something in European? I think they're going to say fish and chips. Do you think our... Or even any of us. Our listeners are like us. Actually, I've had it. He's messing with you. That means it's on there.
Starting point is 00:31:53 You're messing with me. Fish and chips, please. It's on there. Again, if you were to ask this room, best combinations... It's on there. At some point, they're going to say, fish and chips. It's on there. Okay.
Starting point is 00:32:02 Show Eddie, fish and chips. Oh, you weren't joking. Oh, it's not a joke. Hey, I thought he's messing with you did. Yeah, me too, man. I'm bad. Oh, wow, wow, wow. Amy, you have the lead here.
Starting point is 00:32:15 Hmm. That's good there be. Okay. Is there any other combos? I feel like. Oh, yeah. There's actually four. Okay.
Starting point is 00:32:25 There is. Best food combinations. Okay. Go ahead. Mashed potatoes and gravy. Wow, that's so good, Amy. Oh, I count those are one thing. That's great.
Starting point is 00:32:36 You deserve this. Yeah, that's it. I didn't even think that those are two separate. I see them as one item. And I'm not in with that. That's good. Your answer is matched as a gravy. You don't want to be on with it?
Starting point is 00:32:47 Go ahead. If you want to change it, you can. I'll let you change it right now. Do you want mashed potatoes and gravy? Yes or no. I don't want to give another one away. I know, do you want mashed potatoes and gravy? Yes.
Starting point is 00:32:58 Show her mashed potatoes and gravy. That's number eight answer worth 24 points. Good job, Amy. I didn't even, I mean. Still enough points to win the thing, though. Still enough points on the board. Because then everybody loves biscuits and gravy. But would there be two great?
Starting point is 00:33:16 There are three left on the board. There's six, nine, and ten. Amy, tell you what, if you don't use that, I will. Eddie, you've been eliminated. Oh, I'm done? Yeah, sorry, buddy. Hey, you had fun that, didn't you? I sure did.
Starting point is 00:33:27 Yeah. Amy? That's so interesting. I'm going to do a wild card here. I love dipping my pizza and ranch. Pizza and ranch. It's a different size. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:43 Diff and sauce. Lunchbox, you've got to have some points here. We've got three. left on the board. There's plenty of points to win the thing, but you're going to have to get at least 10, the number 10 or number 9 one right. Yeah. Yeah, I know.
Starting point is 00:33:57 He's stretching right now. Doing this whole routine. I don't know what to do here. You can talk it out, too. What do you have? Because, I mean, she said biscuits and gravy, and I was like, wow, that's genius. Every menu you go to, you go to Cracker Barrel. It's on the menu.
Starting point is 00:34:11 You go in another's restaurant. It's on the menu. Which other ones? I don't know. Chatters. I usually only go to a cracker barrel for breakfast. Go ahead. It's on it.
Starting point is 00:34:22 Surre up and pancakes, but that's not. Food combinations. Waffles and whipped cream. Oh, bagel and cream cheese. Oh, my gosh. Lunchbox, you're coming around. You're coming alive. You're talking to yourself?
Starting point is 00:34:41 Yeah. I mean, there's also steak and potatoes. Oh. What's a surprise pizza and... Oh, man, give me. Oh, man, bagel and cream cheese. There's bagel shops everywhere. Is that what you want?
Starting point is 00:34:54 Is that what you want? I want me some bagel and cream cheese. Show him bagel and cream cheese. My goodness. He pulled it out of left meal. He pulled it out. Hold on. What number is that?
Starting point is 00:35:11 That's number 10. That's number 10? 30. Bagel and cream cheese and bread and butter are number 10. Yes. I did it. I get it. That's worth 30 points.
Starting point is 00:35:21 Lunchbox is still. down though. Oh, I'm not? Well, you have 35 now because you only have five points. What does she have? 44. Come on, man. Come on, come on. Oh. You have, but you're in, you're in it now. All you have to just go with one of the other ones and you win. Oh, man. Your mind was doing the right thing. You were digging in there. I know it was that bagel cream cheese. Two or left. You have peanut butter and jelly, macaroni and
Starting point is 00:35:39 cheese and milk, chips and salsa, bacon and eggs, cheese and crackers, mashed potatoes and gravy, bagel and cream, cheese, bread, and butter. Yeah. For the win, I'm going to give you like seven seconds here. Five seconds. You know what? I'm going to shout this out. I'm going to shout it for not using it.
Starting point is 00:36:02 We're going with it. We are going biscuits and gravy, because it'll hurt even more if I win with biscuits and gravy. What's your other one after that? You had steak and potatoes. Oh, me too. And that is pretty much all I have. All right.
Starting point is 00:36:18 First of all, Sean, is steak and potatoes on the board? Okay, okay. Yeah. Boy, he made a good choice. He made a good choice. I had pancakes and syrup, but I don't... There's pancakes and syrup on the board. See, that's what I'm saying.
Starting point is 00:36:32 I don't like that. You got it. You got it. I'll give you one of them here. Oh, give me one. Chocolate and peanut butter. It's a food combination. Franks and beans?
Starting point is 00:36:43 Franks and beans. What in the world? Franks and beans. Brinth beans. Risen's peanut butter cups. Yeah, I wouldn't even think about that. Yeah. Okay, there's one left.
Starting point is 00:36:53 And your answer is Biscuits and gravy And if you win Are you going to take the cash? You're going to take the mystery card? I don't know yet Let me just get here My winning song
Starting point is 00:37:03 And then I'll decide It'll come to me Just like these answers did They came from deep inside He says biscuits And gravy Is it a biscuit Wait wait wait
Starting point is 00:37:13 Amy how mad are you right now That you didn't use business and gravy? I won't be mad But you're mad right now In your gut you're like Dang it I shouldn't use it How She's fine
Starting point is 00:37:20 I don't know Give me number nine It's a game. Come on. Show him. Biscuits and gravy. Show the guy over here. And then when we get done with this, I want an order of biscuits and gravy on the double.
Starting point is 00:37:34 If you don't mind, let's go. Let's show this guy over here. What's the answer of? Biscuits and gravy. Oh. Okay. That's terrible. There's those out there.
Starting point is 00:37:49 There is. The number nine answer. Hold on. It was a dessert. Oh, oh. Oh. Honey and ice cream. Sane and ice cream.
Starting point is 00:37:57 Cake and ice cream. No, that's a day. A good track. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But Amy is our win. Cancel the biscuits and gravy. Oh, yes, yes, yes. Now, I'm just going to show you the, so you can see part of it.
Starting point is 00:38:13 You can have this. Okay. Because you know what it's not, you know what it's not. Like last time I gave away a hotel. That was a hotel card to lunchbox. But why is that not a hotel key? Oh, you can't, oh, I thought you just can understand the design. Never mind then.
Starting point is 00:38:26 It might be. It definitely might be. Am I supposed to understand the design? I thought maybe you would understand the design. I can tell you what that is. Never mind. So you have $15 where you have or the hotel key, as you would say. I want the card.
Starting point is 00:38:43 Okay. She wants the card? You know what you just got? Hard to the hotel key. Another hotel key? Did look like a hotel key. I thought it was the key to our building. We're slowly learning that Bobby just keeps all his hotel keys.
Starting point is 00:38:54 You guys fall for it every time. You get greedy. You want big fat gift cards. I don't have them. You take hotel keys. Amy, you still won. But did you? I think I just won.
Starting point is 00:39:05 I'll be honest with you. Okay. Wow. I love that game. That's a good one. That's a good game. On the Bobby Bones show now. Dr. Lorry.
Starting point is 00:39:14 My respect for Dr. Lori has grown leaps in balance since the last time she was on the show. I bet it has. Oh, man. I had three coins. I just don't remember why I saved these coins, but I did save them. I bought them, I think. And then I saved them. And so one was worth like $75 bucks.
Starting point is 00:39:27 I was like $100. But the third one, she said, was worth $100,000. And I thought it was going to be, I said 10,000. I thought when I looked it up online, it was going to be 10,000. I can't believe that they're an extra zero. That's a big difference. Although I didn't know all the errors that was in the coin. And so we're all a little shocked by this.
Starting point is 00:39:48 Dr. Lori, what would you like to say about this? I mean, in terms of it, it's symbolic of the comeback of the American economy after the Great Depression, which is why it's important. Yes. It's also important because the people who collect the, these kinds of coins are involved in the financial world. Boom. Liberty Head coins are important.
Starting point is 00:40:06 It's called the Peace Dollar from 1934, and you'll notice that as well. Lots of errors and rare elements on the particular coin. So it's interesting to see. It is. It's very interesting to see everybody's face in the studio because I'm totally screwing with you guys. It is not worth $100,000. Ah, suck us! Why would you do that?
Starting point is 00:40:26 Wait, what's it worth? What the word? Here's the thing. No Is she What is she I totally got Dr. Lord to screw with you guys
Starting point is 00:40:34 I have no idea I'm not much The Lorde I've been doing this bit For you guys For like two weeks Just dragging you along Yes
Starting point is 00:40:41 And Dr. Lori And who has high integrity I was like Come on Dr. Lorry Just do it for me Do me a solid This has to be the first time She's done this
Starting point is 00:40:47 Solid body bones Let me tell you You owe me big I want to cook With Trisha Yearwood And I want you to set it up Yes
Starting point is 00:40:55 See? Now you owe me buddy For her to Hold on Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Yes, let's box.
Starting point is 00:41:00 Now, is this a second mess with us? It's not. It is not. It's not a second mess with. I don't even know how much the coin's really worth. You know, she gave us the first two. I don't even know if that was real. But I was like, Dr. Lurie, please, let me play a joke on these guys.
Starting point is 00:41:11 And tell him this coin's worth $100,000. And for days, you guys have been being extra nice to me. Don't think I haven't noticed that crap. Not you, Amy. You're always nice. I told my wife, I was like, wow. Bobby hit again. I mean, that's all I do.
Starting point is 00:41:23 Poor, poor. Poor Dr. Lord can barely contain herself. She's like, I can't believe I just did this. I can't believe I just did this. Wait, okay, so how much is it really worth, Dr. Lori? It's really worth about $100. Not bad. But there are people who do buy these coins.
Starting point is 00:41:39 They're not just everywhere. They're relatively rare. You will find others. The ones that are really high numbers have to be uncirculated. And again, you know, I'm known for here's the straight shoot. So I love Bobby a lot for this. But I got to say that, you know, basically they have to really be uncirculated, had never been touched.
Starting point is 00:42:01 Teamwork makes a dream work between Dr. Lorena. Amy, I'm so glad you didn't sell your car. I was going to trade it for Amy's dolls and her car. I was like, oh my gosh. I wasn't going to let Amy do that. Well, I was already going, I have this bag of coins. You guys were all dumping all your change in. Some are foreign, like Dr. Lorry from other countries.
Starting point is 00:42:22 and I was like about to just go home and send them all to you. Foreign coins can have some value to. And everybody can always send a picture. You know, you guys can always send a picture to our website. Why are you shaking your head? You love playing pranks on people. I mean, I am just like, Dr. Lori, I'm never going to look at you the same. Oh, don't blame her.
Starting point is 00:42:42 Come on. That was good. And let me tell you, hey, I want to. Hey, how was my acting, though? Really good, really good. Oscar. Thank you. Like, dude.
Starting point is 00:42:52 You got us. You got me. I mean, I was sick to my stomach that you had $100,000 corn. But now why are you mad if I don't? I mean, I'm, well, because I was counting my 10%. But then also I was like, but now I'm like, all right, good, Bobby took a loss for once. Like he didn't win one. He's just, it's a joke.
Starting point is 00:43:09 It's a $300 in that. It was a joke. It's a win for me. It's like his favorite thing to do is my book. I don't do it a lot. But that's it. You just got boned. No, I didn't get boned.
Starting point is 00:43:20 Oh, okay. I didn't get boned. I got Luried. Well. Yes, Amy, go ahead. Before we let Dr. Lori go. Oh, Dr. Lori. Hey, you know what we'll do?
Starting point is 00:43:29 We'll talk about the things that are most valuable so everybody can learn how to identify quality and know what's valuable in your vintage stuff and your old things. Yes. So we'll stay around. Thank you for letting me play with you. I appreciate it. Dr. LoriVee.com or at Dr. LoriVee and no more using her for jokes.
Starting point is 00:43:46 Yes. You're the one that did it. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. More, what do you mean? No, but I'm saying I did it the one time, but now we can't do it anymore.
Starting point is 00:43:52 But here's what I have to say about that, Dr. Lori. You and Bobby better not be in cahoots and tell me that one of my dolls is worth a bunch of... No more. No more jokes. But the ultimate joke would be if I said... I'm not a jockster. If I said, say it's not worth anything, so I get to keep the 10%. Well, that's what I'm trying to see if you double pranked us.
Starting point is 00:44:09 You owe me, Bobby. Do I do the double agent prank? Oh. Dr. Lori, thank you. We will talk to you, sorry. You owe me. There she has. Dr. Lori, everybody.
Starting point is 00:44:17 Well done. Thank you. Thank you. Bye, Dr. Lori. Bye, you guys. The Bob Ball Show. Here's Amy's pile of stories. So messages from your doctor may soon start to include emojis.
Starting point is 00:44:30 I think I already get emojis from my doctor. Really? When he texts me? Like what? Teddy bears? Band-aid. Eggplant. What?
Starting point is 00:44:40 Oh, boy. That's weird, man. Oh, my gosh. Stop. Scientists say that using emojis and health, care has several benefits because it's universally understood. And also it can kind of lighten the mood. Well, unless it's like the skull and crossbones.
Starting point is 00:44:57 Right, right. Hey, it's your doctor here. Just want to send you a couple emojis. It's a skull. And then it's the, you dead. Yeah, so you dead. It's a single skull. That's not good.
Starting point is 00:45:06 What if it's like really bad news and then it's like, the sad emoji? Right. That doesn't make it any better. Or it's a crystal ball and then it's a dead. Your future. Yes. Like diagnosis.
Starting point is 00:45:17 Crystal ball. dead. Or if you're going to go, they send a little dancer emoji. Like, you're clear. Hit the town. Yeah. Okay. That's cool. Yeah. I think my mind didn't go there. Or it's like, hey, a clock. It's what? Your clock's ticking. Not much time left. Oh, yeah. Then crystal ball, then skull. Yeah, man, that's sad. I like that. There's also the vomiting one too. Right, right. Yeah. Okay. You can use them a court. Now doctors can use them. What else you got? So a travel trend is instead of taking a carry-on bag, you get those, you know, like when you would go fishing with all the pockets. Fishing best.
Starting point is 00:45:57 Yeah. Arkansas Keith. Yeah. Did you wear one of those? No, because we were in the boat. We didn't have to. We had a tackle box is galore. But yes, you can use a, yeah, that's funny actually.
Starting point is 00:46:06 So what are you put in there like pockets? Just stuff like toothbrush and wear those. No, no, I'm talking about when you travel. toothbrushes. Pillows. Your razor? It's a, it's a travel hack that's going viral on tick. talk where, yeah, you don't do a carry-on.
Starting point is 00:46:20 You put on one of those vests that you would use, yeah, like if you're like fly fishing or whatever. You take lures. You stick everything you can in there. I see. Yeah, it's a little stuff, though, even in the TikToks. Interesting. Like your bathroom stuff that you put in a bathroom bag.
Starting point is 00:46:33 Okay. That's smaller than. Bikini. Obviously bikini. Yeah, same. And lastly, I got a clip of Garth Brooks telling a fun story on the Kelly Clarkson show. Probably 12 years ago, 13, my youngest came in from school. And she goes, Dad.
Starting point is 00:46:47 Dad, you've got to hear this song from Adele. I've never heard a song like it. I said, really? I said, what's his name? Says, to make you feel my love. I said, you have to be kidding me, right? No, I didn't say anything. I said, oh, really?
Starting point is 00:47:01 People always ask, which is her favorite version? I said, I don't know. We haven't spoke since that day. That's going to be so unhopeful. Garth did, to make you feel my love. And then Adele did it later. But originally Bob Dylan did it. That's right.
Starting point is 00:47:15 Make you feel my love. He wrote it. Yeah. So the joke is she didn't know her own dad at saying the song. That's hilarious, which is a pretty funny joke. All right, Amy. I'm Amy. That's my pile. That was Amy's pile of stories.
Starting point is 00:47:29 It's time for the good news. Which Bobby. Tell me something good. I like the story because I like people giving back, but I think it's set in a pretty dangerous example. You know, if you ever had an uncle or a grandma that would show up. Every time she'd show up, she'd give you a quarter or a dollar. And then, so you just expected every time that uncle or grandma that had that quarter. or that dollar.
Starting point is 00:47:51 And then if they didn't give it to you, you're like, wait. No, my love was based on getting that quarter or that dollar. Absolutely. So I'm going to say that because this is a great story. I don't want to take away from it. But a couple weeks ago, Pat Hamill, the CEO of Oakwood Home Surprise graduates at the University of Denver's commencement ceremony. Doing a deal, she gave each grad $500. You take it.
Starting point is 00:48:15 If you need it, you keep it. If you don't need it, give it to somebody. Just do something with it that's good. And so they gave her standing ovation. Here's the thing. This is where the grandma and uncle comes in. There are a lot of rich people now doing this at graduation. It's almost going to be the understood uncle.
Starting point is 00:48:31 Where's my quarter? Yeah. And the price is going to get higher and higher. And it's going to be disappointing when you have the graduation. They don't give anything. That's going to be the uncle, the grandma, that doesn't have the quarter that time. But if they're giving out all this money, I might start going to more graduations. No, not to the people sitting there, the people graduating.
Starting point is 00:48:46 The audience doesn't get the money. Well, I thought everybody there. No. You don't come to the graduation to get money. Oh. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I was like, man, I'll tend. The graduates.
Starting point is 00:48:56 But you could graduate from UTSA in San Antonio. You're three hours short. Get that, then get your money from the speaker. I don't know. I need to check who the speaker is every semester and see if that's the semester I want to go. But I don't think they line it up that early. Free the semester. And probably this only happens in the fall graduation.
Starting point is 00:49:13 I wonder if you can put it in a request. Like, are you allowed to say, hey, can you reach out to this person? Who would you reach out to? Oprah would be cool because she gives away stuff. Elon Musk, maybe he'll give us all Tesla's. What about Shaq? Shack gives away a lot of crap. But you hate Shaq for that.
Starting point is 00:49:30 Yeah, he likes that clout. But you would take it. I'd take it. I'd like it. Pat Hamill, goodbye you. Love people to give back. That's a great story. That's what it's all about.
Starting point is 00:49:41 That was Tell Me Something Good. A win is a win. A win is a win. Yep, that's me, Cliver Taylor the 4th. You might have seen the skits, the reactions, my journey from basketball to college football, or my career in sports media. Well, somewhere along the way, this platform became bigger than I ever imagined. And now I'm bringing all of that excitement to my brand new podcast, The Clifford Show.
Starting point is 00:50:06 This is a place for raw, unfiltered conversations with some of your favorite athletes, creators, and voices that not only deserve to be heard, but celebrated. One week, I'll take you behind the scenes of the biggest moments in sports and entertainment. And the next we'll talk about life, mental health, purpose, and even music. The Clifford Show isn't just a podcast. It's a space for honest conversations, stories that don't always get told, and for people who are chasing something bigger. So if you've ever supported me or you're just chasing down a dream,
Starting point is 00:50:35 this is right where you need to be. Listen to the Clifford show on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast. And for more behind the scenes, follow at Clifford and at TikTok Podcast Network on TikTok. This is Amy Roboc alongside TJ Holmes from the Amy and TJ podcast. And there is so much news, information, commentary coming at you all day and from all over the place. What's fact, what's fake, and sometimes what the F. So let's cut the crap, okay?
Starting point is 00:51:04 Follow the Amy and T.J podcast, a one-stop news and pop culture shop to get you caught up and on with your day. And listen to Amy and T.J. on the IHeart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you listen to podcasts. You can have opinions, you can have like a strong stance. And then there's your body having its own program. I'm Dr. Maya Shunker, a cognitive scientist and hosts of the podcast, a slight change of plans, a show about who we are and who we become when life makes other plans. We share stories and scientific insights to help us all better navigate these periods of turbulence and transformation. There is one finding that is consistent, and that is that our resilience rests on our relationships.
Starting point is 00:51:53 I wish that I hadn't resisted for so long the need to change. We have to be willing to live with a kind of uncertainty that none of us likes. Listen to a slight change of plans on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. The question is, when you're on vacation, how long before you miss home, how many days? Give me the number of days. You're on vacation. When do you go, dang, I miss my place. Lunchbox.
Starting point is 00:52:24 Never. Eddie, I've never missed my home on vacation. Amy. Yeah, I, not. I don't. Never. I miss it like two days. Two days.
Starting point is 00:52:35 Yeah. That's not a vacation. Yeah, I sit there going, man, I never want to leave this place when I'm on vacation. That's crazy. I don't like going on vacation. I like to be in my home. I like leaving my house. You guys are lucky I come here.
Starting point is 00:52:47 I mean, I love being home. Wow, you guys, when it's time to leave vacation, I'm in the worst mood ever. I'm like, just pack the car. Where does it go, Dad? I don't care. Put it wherever. Shove it in there. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:53:02 Okay. You guys are sad. It's very sad. Vacation's fun for you, though. That's cool. Love it. Yeah, I don't do well on vacation. I don't do well relaxing.
Starting point is 00:53:11 I don't really have a place that I go, and I'm like, I just feel good here. Anywhere but what? My home. Oh, that's great, man. All right, time now for the morning corny. The morning corny. How is divorce like espresso? You tell us.
Starting point is 00:53:28 It's expensive and bitter. Is that funny? I'm actually crying, guys. That was the morning corny. Why they mean in tears right now? Ray Mundo says if we play a certain song, it will make our show cooler. Ray, what's the song? Yeah, it's called Good is Gold, and it's on Vanderpump Rules.
Starting point is 00:53:46 Scandival. Is it good? It's so bad, but it's in commercials and stuff. And if we play this, why will it make the show cooler? Because the Scandival is so huge. People that cheated on each other and stuff. And who sings it, though? It's She was kind of involved because she found out about the Scandival and she told other people about it.
Starting point is 00:54:05 But she wasn't one of the people in the cheating. No, but because of the cheating, they got a commercial deal and the girl they got cheated on is in the commercial. Really? Yeah. Let me hear the song. All right. Here you go.
Starting point is 00:54:17 They went to the mall, one of those little trailers in the middle you get into and record your own song. Or it kind of sounds like the Lego movie. Everything is awesome. This reminds me of the song on Real Housewives. Tarty for the party. That was a great one. You're being Tade for the POT. Like terribly produced.
Starting point is 00:55:02 The person can't actually sing, but they're trying to make it. Like they can actually sing. But we're not cool. For the party. Oh, this is a jam though, wasn't it? And don't be a party for the party. Eddie for this or no? No, I don't know this one on the show then when this came out.
Starting point is 00:55:18 So good. So what do we need to do? We need to have a song like this? No, no, no, no. The question for you guys is what can we do on this show for the show to be cooler? Because Ray said if we play that song, we're cooler. Yeah! Okay, so if we're a little cooler already.
Starting point is 00:55:32 Lunch Fox, what can we do on this show to make the show cooler? pool parties. What do you mean? At pool parties. Huh? What does that do for the show? That makes us cooler because people are like, oh, look at them. They're on the top of a penthouse, like having pool parties.
Starting point is 00:55:44 Look at them rage and have a DJ and invite listeners and, I mean, so you just want a pool party. And trips. Okay, but this is a trip. Because if the company sends us on trips. The companies have sent us on trips. But listen, it makes us cool. You're lucky they don't put an AI lunchbox over there.
Starting point is 00:56:00 I'm being honest with it. But that's what I'm saying. You want to be cool. is you send us to cool places, send us on trips, and then we can talk about it. That makes us cooler. Okay. So you think we need to go and do crazier things? Yes.
Starting point is 00:56:13 Okay. Now that I get, but when you go a pool party, it just sounds like you want me to throw a pool party. It does make us cooler because it'll cool us off in the pool because it's hot outside. Oh, literal. He got me. Wow, wow, wow. He got me. Lunchbox 1, Bobby Zero.
Starting point is 00:56:26 Eddie, what can we do on this show to make a cooler? Hear me out. I'm listening. Every week, we meet with Morgan number two, and she fills us in with all the hip lingo. So like, no cap, lit. And then we kind of- I'm 29. She's even getting a little too old for that.
Starting point is 00:56:42 Okay, then maybe we bring in it someone from the outside. Like someone young to tell us. That'd be great, my kids. Now he's trying to get his kids' jobs. It's not anything about being cool. But think about it, if we're like saying cool, hot lingo that the kids use?
Starting point is 00:56:58 You think we should say it too? Yes, we incorporate into. We should learn it and then say it. Exactly. I think that'll make us way cool. Bet. Bet, dude. Hey, no cap.
Starting point is 00:57:06 Hey, say less, say less. Say less. That's what I'm talking about. It doesn't sound right coming from our mouth. But nobody knows what we look like. People, he just hears us. This isn't radio in the 30s.
Starting point is 00:57:17 It'd make our show. I'm not Wolfman Jack. Literally you just get on the internet or on Instagram. Okay. But I respect you guys's opinion. Thank you. Lunchbox wants more pool parties. Eddie wants us to use teenage lingo.
Starting point is 00:57:28 Boom. Morgan. I don't know if boom is one. I feel like we should do some more challenges, because anytime we do challenges in here and get super competitive in the room and all of my favorite bits that happen are when we start competing really hardcore with each other.
Starting point is 00:57:41 Like the lottery scratch-off challenge? Yeah, that was great. Like it created a whole thing. Cost money though. Oh, expensive. But like the will at Uber bit, we got to find our new will at Uber. Yeah, and that was a great bit.
Starting point is 00:57:51 I'm super happy that we came up with that and we did it, but my Uber account got lowered so much. I couldn't get a car because I kept getting bad reviews because we were Uber and funny things across town. So yes, I agree. We need our new challenge. I'm not sure.
Starting point is 00:58:03 what that is yet, but we need our new will at Uber. So I'll keep thinking on it. That's what I think. Bet. Ray? Ray? Dad, bad, bad, bad. Hey, say less, say less. Ray. Uh, drinking.
Starting point is 00:58:15 Wait, what? I mean, honestly, if we cracked open a beer once the nine o'clock hour rolls around, that makes us look cool. Yeah. In the videos, we all, we all, you know, sitting back drinking a beer. It's all boys. What about me? I don't drink. What do I do?
Starting point is 00:58:29 Right. That's when you can incorporate how it's just as good to drink the virgin ones. You would have a virgin daquiry. Okay. Amy? Oh, I was thinking we could all get tattoos. matching. No.
Starting point is 00:58:42 It doesn't make us cool. But I guess it's my fault because I did not communicate this properly. It's like what can we do on this show? Content. Yeah. Oh, but us having that together. Oh, I know. We can remodel the studio every once in a while.
Starting point is 00:58:56 I mean, like, it's the summer so we should put some sand in here. Oh, like Southwest when you check in. They always decorate the desk. And then in the fall. Teachers do that too. In the ball, you put like leave. Yeah. What all field in here?
Starting point is 00:59:11 Autumn leaves. Yes. My other idea would get squashed because you and Eddie already do it. But there's no squash. A band? I just think it's funny to hear and then we all just have a laugh, right? Yeah. We all get to be a part of the band. What band?
Starting point is 00:59:23 I'm out. All of us. You don't want much fuss in the band. Yeah, he doesn't want anything to try to make music. Not even a little late singery? I can't sing. Who cares? Neither guy.
Starting point is 00:59:32 Oh, my goodness gracious. Okay. Anybody else have something? I mean, that's a lot of good ideas. Scuba? Scuba have any ideas? Well, if he had a night, he would already tell me. I have one, yeah.
Starting point is 00:59:41 Yeah. Do you have another one now? I mean, I think it would make us cooler. And it seems like we have a lot of access and stuff. Like, I don't know why we don't go places. Like, Disney will open up a new ride. Thank you. And every single station and show goes across to it and sends people to like,
Starting point is 00:59:52 and it's awesome for the audience because it's cool, but also more awesome for us. Because we get a free trip to Disney. What did I say? Trips. That's what I said. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I didn't hear that part. Money.
Starting point is 01:00:03 Give us more money. That one makes cool. That would be cool. That would be cool. We make money and the company makes money. Yeah, yeah. I hear you. I agree.
Starting point is 01:00:08 Wait. We should do a Bobby Boney Show Cruz. Like legit. Your voice, the fact that it still is terrible. That's like a grandma, you mean. Hey. You've been smoking like menthols your whole life. All right, conspiracy theories.
Starting point is 01:00:21 Let's go through the list again. Different ones. Tell me if you think no chance, somewhat chance, big chance. There's like three levels here. The Illuminati. This theory claims that a secret society called the Illuminati controls world events, manipulates governments, financial institutions. institutions, major organizations.
Starting point is 01:00:40 Believers often associate the Illuminati with symbols and rituals, and they attribute significant global events to the Illuminati's influence. Bones, why don't you just go first on this? I do not. I will not answer this one, but I will let you guys answer it. Amy. Big chance. Big chance.
Starting point is 01:00:56 Lunchbox. Zero chance. I guess I just, this is so stupid. All of his are zero. He thought the moon landing was zero chance. Flat Earth, I also agreed with that one. But Eddie? The fact that you're not answering?
Starting point is 01:01:07 I don't ever talk about the Illuminati. Big chance. No, but don't put that on me. I never talk about the Illuminati. Okay. Anyway. What? No one saw that.
Starting point is 01:01:20 I didn't do anything. I don't do anything at all. Next up, Area 51 in aliens. Area 51 is a secret of U.S. military facility in Nevada. Some conspiracy theory suggests that the government is hiding evidence of extraterrestrial life or advanced alien technology within the facility. No chance, middle chance, big chance. chance.
Starting point is 01:01:40 Middle. No chance. No chance. Okay. Eddie? I want to say some chance. We'll have a... I think there's something.
Starting point is 01:01:52 There's too much smoke for the... Oh, my goodness. I'm going to go big chance. There's something there. There's something. I'm not saying little green men walking around, but big chance there's something there. Now, Area 51 does exist.
Starting point is 01:02:01 We know that as a fact. Yes, but there's something there. Correct. Right. Kim Trails. Oh, I've seen these. What? According to this theory, the white trails left.
Starting point is 01:02:14 behind by aircraft in the sky are not ordinary like the Contrails that happened but rather chemical or biological agents deliberately sprayed for undisclosed purposes such as weather modification population control or mind control. Kim Trails. I was married to a pilot. No chance. No chance.
Starting point is 01:02:34 No chance. Where do people come up with this crap? No chance. And anybody that ever goes, I believe in Kim Trails, I don't want to know them. Yeah, they're weird, Ben. That's a whole different group. Remember? A long time ago I went to someone when I was trying to get pregnant years ago. There's so many better conspiracy theories in this one to believe in, if you have to believe in one.
Starting point is 01:02:51 Yeah. And that's what led me to first ever asking me about it because she told me that it was poisoning our crops, dropping stuff down, and then she told me to stop using dryer sheets ASAP because it was causing my infertility. Well, still stop cleaning the toilet with stuff. Same reason.
Starting point is 01:03:08 When you were flying the Blue Angels, they blew smoke. What was that? Let's just say, Eddie, that day, your mind was not in the place. Exactly. Kim Trails is not real. I got a couple more.
Starting point is 01:03:22 Reptillion elite. Never heard of that. Now, you're going to go, but just listen before you make your judgment. Believers in this theory argue that shape-shifting reptilian humanoid beings from another dimension or extraterrestrial origin
Starting point is 01:03:36 secretly control world governments, banks, and media. Prominent individuals, such as political leaders and celebrities, are often accused of being reptilian, creatures and disguised. I mean, this is the truest one of all, right? No. Amy?
Starting point is 01:03:48 No chance. Very high chance. Yeah, cool. What is it talking about? No chance. No chance. No chance. No chance. One more.
Starting point is 01:03:58 The deep state. The concept of a deep state suggests the existence of a covert network of powerful individuals or agencies within the government working behind the scenes to control policy and influence national and international affairs. Oh. So it's,
Starting point is 01:04:16 Like a group within the group that's secret, that's controlling the secret group that controls us. Amy. Big. Big chance. Zero chance. Zero chance. Got it, got it, got it. 100% humongous chance.
Starting point is 01:04:36 Oh my gosh, you guys are so gold. I guess it's the definition of deep state. Do I think there are people? Uh-huh. But I don't think it is a partisan deal. and both sides claim the deep state is affecting I don't think it's a partisan deal I think it's probably a few folks to make sure
Starting point is 01:04:53 that there aren't people abusing rules and if they are they stop that crap man there's always someone behind the big man it's kind of like cops on cops cops cops cops policing the cops there I think there's probably some folks but I don't think they're doing deep state things to affect culture
Starting point is 01:05:15 or social issues or financial political fiscal decisions I think they're just making sure there aren't people abusing like hyperabusing the system that's what I would think
Starting point is 01:05:31 the deep state would be so you think it exists for you thinking they're good I what's good though like I don't good making sure like you just said nobody's doing too bad that I was picturing
Starting point is 01:05:41 no they're controlling all kinds of things are they reptiles? in your mind? Bad. They actually... I think there's always people policing the police.
Starting point is 01:05:52 We don't always know who they are. So if that's deep state, yes, but I don't think it's affecting political candidates or policies. So you're a big chance? Yeah, I'll go a big chance on that. Just that, though, but not what people think is that deep state.
Starting point is 01:06:07 Okay. That's fun, though, huh? Yeah. What's your favorite of all those? We did. None of them. Well, there you go. None of them. They are so stupid and ridiculous.
Starting point is 01:06:18 You don't think any conspiracy ever has a chance? Nah, I'm not really... No. You think somebody other than... What, Lee Harvey Oswald killed John of Kennedy? Like the CIA set it up. I don't know anything about that. No?
Starting point is 01:06:32 No, I don't know anything about that. But I don't think they set it up. Why would they set it up? A lot of reasons. A lot of reasons, man. You've got to look into it. It's crazy. And if you look into it and you tell us, we'll believe it.
Starting point is 01:06:40 I got to look into it. Do this. No, it's a good experience. This is a good... This is fun. When he did Woodstock, I thought it was an awesome bit. And we learned a lot from it. And when you did Martin Van Buren,
Starting point is 01:06:49 that's great. Thank you. So I got to look up who. Lunch box. John F. Kennedy. Look up John F. Kennedy's assassination. Who shot him? Where it happened.
Starting point is 01:07:00 And the theory surrounding it. And it's Tuesday by Friday of this week. Wow. That movie JFK is really good too. Give us a lot of it. You let us know what you think. Is there like a movie I can watch or I got to really? I just told you.
Starting point is 01:07:13 He three seconds ago said a movie. He got penalized for that. But I don't know. Is it a documentary or is it a movie with Kevin Kozner? But I want you to read. It seems like Kozner. Well, if Kozner is a movie, it's not a real movie. Okay.
Starting point is 01:07:26 There's a lot of resources. Yeah, read about it. Because I think you'll bring fresh eyes to it. All right. Maybe I'll go interview some people. But when some... No, don't take your microphone out. It's not people in the street.
Starting point is 01:07:36 Just read about it. Interview witnesses. Go ahead. When something like that happens with the conspiracy, is that something deep state? could be maybe there was some abuse going on pulled the strings on you or yeah yeah yeah it could be rogue bad too
Starting point is 01:07:51 there's a difference in rogue bad a few individuals in deep state who's there for an actual reason fundamentally but he's gonna tell us we'll get our answer on that can't wait all right lunchbox thank you hello and we would love to have your calls 87777 bobby that's our number
Starting point is 01:08:10 877 77 777 B-O-B-B-1 why you can be anywhere in the whole wide world and you're here with us. We appreciate that. And now time for the news. Bobby's Big. Stories. You hear things better in the morning. The reason to conduct sound efficiently,
Starting point is 01:08:27 the tiny hairs in your inner ear need to wave like blades of grass in the wind. By daily exposure to noise that's loud, actually batters those hairs. You know, I don't hear, I took that test. And they were like, you're the greatest hearing I've ever heard. They didn't tell me that, but I felt like that one I left. They're like, perfect, everything you've checked out. But then I'm at home and my wife will talk.
Starting point is 01:08:49 And huh? Yeah, that's called selective hearing. I hear you. But I would select to hear more because I don't like going, huh? It felt like an old man, huh? Right. It's just so much I don't hear. I don't know what the frequencies are I don't hear.
Starting point is 01:09:02 Maybe these hairs in my ears I need to work on it. They're not moving like blaze of grass. I guess not, man. To rebound, the hair sails in your ear need protection in a period of quiet. Most of us have that quiet time during sleep, which is why your hearing is the sharpest in the morning. That's from men's health. So more naps.
Starting point is 01:09:16 Maybe that's why lunchbox hears so well. Yeah. Always waking up from something. That's true. Superhero, super sonic hearing, man. Are you a perfectionist? It might be making you sick. Mental health experts warn that excessive perfectionism
Starting point is 01:09:28 can be linked to serious psychological problems, including anxiety and depression. If you're a perfectionist, you're probably lonely as well because perfectionists maintain exceedingly high standards for their friends, family, and colleagues. If you always expect too much from others, it's more likely you will always seem to be disappointed in them. Wow.
Starting point is 01:09:45 That is from psychology today. The only problem that I have with this is it's like, don't create high expectations because then you know once you fail, then you won't be sad. That's kind of bull crap. What you do is you create high expectations for yourself. You can create expectations for others if you're in it together and you do what you're asking them to do.
Starting point is 01:10:03 Like I don't ask you guys to do anything that I either don't do or haven't done. Right? Yeah, yeah. And I do have high expectations for everybody in this room or you wouldn't be here. and it's a compliment. It is me believing on all of you guys that I give you guys high expectations. Actually, I wrote it a little nice son about all you guys
Starting point is 01:10:17 on my Instagram this weekend. Do you guys see it? No. My story? What's your right? Mike you see it? Oh, yeah, yeah, I saw mine. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:10:22 What do you say about me? No, it don't matter. You know, I'm checking the Instagram stories, you don't get to see it. And that's expired, huh? And I wrote about every single person here, did a little block about everybody. And I just think the story's kind of crap.
Starting point is 01:10:33 I get what they're saying, and that's true. If you're never expected to do much, when you don't do much, much, well, then you'll never get sad. But then you'll never do much. You should have high expectations on yourself and then on others as long as you're giving what you're asking for.
Starting point is 01:10:51 And then it's the ability to bounce back or to get back up once it doesn't go right. Because that's when you get stronger and get better. This story's a piece of crap. And I'm going to paperwad it up on the microphone, which I rarely do. And then I'm going to take it and save and go wipe my butt with it. Oh, wow. There you go. Huh.
Starting point is 01:11:09 It's true, but I don't like it. It's not something to live by. I won't set high expectations because I don't want to be disappointed. That's bull crap. And all you guys are awesome. And I said it this weekend, and if you didn't see it, then tough to-de-y. Lunchbox just looked for it. Yeah, it's not up there.
Starting point is 01:11:26 Ray, did you see yours? Yep, hard worker. Yeah, basically. Niceer than. What was the picture? I didn't put a picture up a Ray. Oh, you didn't? You just wrote it.
Starting point is 01:11:34 Did you not see it? I got a picture? No. That wasn't it? No. So I got two of them. No. I wrote a block, like a literal block of every single person and just text. Because a listener asked me in a Q&A. Huh.
Starting point is 01:11:46 And so I wrote something about all of you guys. Could anybody send me what they sent me? Said about me? Can anybody send me what they sent me? Said about me? Because I have no idea. All right, moving on. The question is, how many enemies do you have? Research found that 95% of people report having at least one enemy, the average number that most people have is three that they can name from school, worker, or a neighbor.
Starting point is 01:12:04 Enemies typically are the same sex. But when they're not, it's usually a person you dated in the past. That's from a collective study from Washington College in Iowa State. We've talked about this ish. Do you have any, I don't feel like I have any direct enemies that I'm going against. I've needed them my entire career. I can go back and look just professionally. I've always had an enemy and I've always just set out to destroy them.
Starting point is 01:12:28 And I have. And I don't have enemy now because I think I'm a little healthier. And right now I've kind of destroyed all the enemies that I wanted to destroy. Wow, that's cool. It's been pretty cool. You destroyed your enemy. I can look at certain people and be like, they mess with me so bad. Look at them now.
Starting point is 01:12:43 And I shouldn't feel that way a little bit, but I do because I'm human being. But I don't really have any enemies. There's one person, not one of the people we talked about here on the show. There's one person I hate. Only one person I hate. That's great. I hate hate hate hate. I don't think you should ever have hate.
Starting point is 01:12:58 I wish that I could forgive a certain person. I can't. There's no chance ever. And I shouldn't say ever because I might even get healthier. This just in. I might get healthier. one day. Oh, man.
Starting point is 01:13:09 But there's one person that I hate and would like to see really bad things happen to. Line of work? Uh-uh. No. Stupid. Oh, that's a fair question, but I'm not. Gender? But you're not going to tell him that?
Starting point is 01:13:21 Gender? Uh-uh. No, no. Social media following? No, I'm not just kidding. But you have an enemy, Amy. I couldn't think of one when we talked about it a while ago, but definitely my neighbor now. No, I can think of another one for you.
Starting point is 01:13:35 You have an enemy neighbor? I can think of another one for you. Really? Yeah, I think I know. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Remember Amy went after her? Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 01:13:44 Oh, yeah, yeah. Oh, maybe you said, you know, maybe just didn't like her. No, she's not my enemy at all. I just thought that was just something I just thought was bizarre or how she was handling it. No, no, no, no, no, no. Oh, her husband. Wait, no, what was it? Her ex.
Starting point is 01:14:00 Reverse. Reverse husband? Reverse. He's not an enemy. Not at all. Not at all. I can say right now that that's not the case. Okay, okay.
Starting point is 01:14:05 Yeah. I'll also say this. I've had a couple messages going, hey, get Amy to talk about. the divorce more. Here's the thing. Even when we start talking about the divorce, I go into protection mode because I don't want Amy to feel like she has to share stuff for a bit. Now, if she kind of overrides me, which I welcome her to do, then go for it. She always can do it. But when you guys are like, tell me about the divorce. My first instinct, because I have not been exactly through it with her, but I've been with her as she's gone through it, is that fair? Is to just step in front and go,
Starting point is 01:14:32 nope, I'm protecting her. I ain't make, no pressure. But then if she, like, for example, when she was like, yeah, I had to give up the bed. I mean, that's fun. That's hilarious, but she decided to do that. Well, because Lunchbox wanted to play a game. Yeah, it was a game. Who got blank in the divorce? And I initially stepped in and said, I don't want to play this game, but Amy, if you do, but that's just me making sure she's
Starting point is 01:14:52 not the bad guy in this situation. Which I didn't want to play the game, but then I answered that, like, he gave the bed as an example, and I'm like, oh, he did. And then he thought it was kind of fun, and you kept going. And because he did that. What about the silverware I saw online? Maybe he took the forks and left you with the spoons? So, I post.
Starting point is 01:15:08 that I had few spoons and forks. And that's because of my kids. They lose them or throw them away. I don't know what they do. But some listeners, because of Lungebox's bit suggestion, they didn't read everything I wrote and they automatically assumed.
Starting point is 01:15:22 And they're like, oh my gosh, I thought that you and Ben literally split your silverware 50-50. What would have been great is you only gave him the really fat big spoons that you never use it sometimes
Starting point is 01:15:31 when everything's dirty. You eat cereal with a big spoon. The servants are like, Guy, man. So I reposted one of those comments being like, okay, this made me laugh because we didn't split silverware. But then listeners started DMing me that literally their exes are losers
Starting point is 01:15:47 and that their exes like split everything 50-50 including silverware. That's crazy. Like they were dividing it up. Like you get a fork. Could have been nice. What about towels? At Amy's house, that's all towels with Ben's name on. And she's like, I would not give me.
Starting point is 01:16:00 Did you have to split the towels 50-50? I mean, he took towels. But he probably needed to take towels. We have a lot of towels. But he's not your enemy. He is not. Right. Do you have any enemy?
Starting point is 01:16:12 Just open the phone lines. No, I'm for real. That's true. A lot of people love you, though. I mean, but there's a lot of haters. But haters are different. I have haters too. I have haters too.
Starting point is 01:16:21 I mean. Enemy, you have to know who they are. I mean, like Dr. Evans, my high school pre-calculous teacher. That's not. No, no, no. No. No. Like, I just gave up in, like, in his class.
Starting point is 01:16:32 I was like, I'm done with this. Like, on the final, I just wrote my name, turned it in, didn't even fill out of question. Nice. And he was like, I would love to be a fly on the wall of your first college classroom. I said, I wasn't going to make it in life. And so I think about him all the time. And I wonder, I don't know if he's still with us. But that is you holding a grudge more than having a consistent enemy.
Starting point is 01:16:50 But I do understand what you're saying. And then like when I went to graduation for high school and they pull me aside and they're like, listen, we will keep your diploma. If you would do anything, anything at this graduation. But they didn't do that out of nowhere. There had to be actions that led up to them saying that. Correct. I understand that. But they actually pulled me aside and said, we will pull me.
Starting point is 01:17:06 your diploma. Right, because they probably had a re, it doesn't matter. Good for you, dude. But yeah, so I look at them and I'm like, they thought I was just some loser, you know what I mean? And like, that's a grudge more than an enemy. I have grudges. No, they were like, they wouldn't say that to someone that has straight A's. Right. But guess what? Some people with straight A's aren't as good as me. Look at me.
Starting point is 01:17:22 I'm doing a lot better than them. I'm looking at you. Killing it, buddy. Yeah. Eddie, anything? Yeah, this dude. Lunchbox. Sometimes, yeah? That's my enemy. All right, moving on. The Rock announced that the Moana live action remake will hit theaters June 27th, 2025. That's what I hate about movies?
Starting point is 01:17:36 is that they tell you two years out. I like TV shows. They're like, hey, guess what? Tomorrow there's a news. It's in a black mirror. What you had to watch the first episode of Black Mirror? It's awesome. It's awesome.
Starting point is 01:17:46 It's awesome. It's called Joan is awful. Joan is awful. Yeah. It's awesome. And I don't want to say anything more than the description. And if I can come back, I'll read the description because I don't spoil anything. But, man, it's awesome.
Starting point is 01:18:00 Have any of those black mirrors come true? Absolutely. And I don't want to say which ones because I'll offend people. That's great. But absolutely. And some of them are still coming true. Wow. That's it.
Starting point is 01:18:09 That's my favorite show. And I was talking to Caitlin about it. I was like, it's my favorite show. And she was like, man, you just love the dark. Like the worst parts of the world type stuff, stuff that could happen. I said, I know. I said, but if you learn all about it and then it happens, you're kind of ready for it. Through TV shows.
Starting point is 01:18:26 That's it. Yeah. And then I will do this. I will announce these are the cities I'm going to go to on my comedically inspirational tour. I'm very excited. I haven't been on the road in a few years. years. I did this show like six times in Nashville only. We're doing it a seventh time. It's sold out. There's, I guess, some obstructed view seats in Nashville, but here's the thing about that.
Starting point is 01:18:46 The view's not obstructed. I went and sat in them. It took pictures to show people they're not obstructed. So what's there? Like a bar or something? The bar, but it goes under, it's under your nipples. Oh, that's not a, yeah. That's not in the way. Yeah. Unless you have eyeballs in your nipples, if so I want to bring you on stage, because that'd be awesome. But, yeah, Nashville sold out, which I'm very grateful for to be my seventh show here. but the only tickets left for that show are the obstructed view seats. That being said, let me read to you where else I'm going to go and I can't wait. The dates don't matter so much at the cities, but I'll do it.
Starting point is 01:19:16 Humor me. August 12th, Saturday, August 12th, Orphium Theater, Wichita, Kansas. Very excited about that. Saturday, August 19th, Tampa Theater, Tampa, Florida. Saturday, September 9th, the theater at the Virgin Hotel at Casino, Las Vegas, Nevada. September 15th, Sandler Center, Virginia Beach, Virginia. September 16th, Warner Theater, Washington, D.C., see what's cool about that is the last time I did a Warner Theater.
Starting point is 01:19:40 It's awesome theater, right, right by the Capitol. Oh, yeah, that's right there. It's super cool. And they gave me like a snowboard that humble, not even humble, just brag, but I thought it was cool. I still have it. I sold that thing out five times. It's a pretty big theater. And they gave me a snowboard, and I never have known what to do with it.
Starting point is 01:19:57 What's a snowboard? You just ride in the snow down on it. Like a sled? Yeah, snowboard. Put your feet into it. And on the bottom of it, it says five sellouts or whatever. I just have never known what to do with it. Oh.
Starting point is 01:20:06 I've never snowboarded. I've seen that thing. Are you confused as much as I am? It's why they would give me a snow. I thought it was nice, but it's like giving me a right-handed baseball glove. I'm left-handed, but I appreciate the thought. Okay. It's awesome.
Starting point is 01:20:18 So, and then finally, Friday, November 17th, Brown Theater, Louisville, Kentucky. That's at Wichita, Tampa, Las Vegas, Virginia Beach, Washington, D.C., Louisville, Nashville. Those are cities I'm going to. I hope you come. And tickets until Friday at 10 a.m. Local time, wherever you are the local time there. if you're part of the V Team, we have a pre-sale going on tomorrow. All those are up on my Instagram, Mr. Bobby Bones.
Starting point is 01:20:40 Okay. You want to hear the Black Mirror concept as written by the people at Black Mirror? Yes. An average woman is stunned to discover a global streaming platform, which is basically Netflix. They call themselves Streamberry. Interesting. An average woman is stunned to discover a local streaming platform has launched a TV drama adaptation of her life
Starting point is 01:21:01 in which she is portrayed by a Hollywood A-List or Selma Hayek. and pretty much as soon as it happens, it's happening on screen and she finds as it's going. Weird. It's awesome. And the main actress in it, Joan, who's awful, is the girl from, we'll call it Splits Creek, the daughter. Got it. Alexis, Rose. It's great.
Starting point is 01:21:22 It's Selma Hyac's in it, too. Selma Hyac is acting as her at the same time she's living her life. You've got to watch it to find out. Black Mirror is the best show I've ever seen him all life. All right. Thank you. That's the news. Those were. Bobby's B.
Starting point is 01:21:35 Stories. A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care what you're saying. Yep, that's me, Clivert Taylor the fourth. You might have seen the skits, the reactions, my journey from basketball to college football, or my career in sports media.

It's Financial Literacy Month, and the podcast, Eating While Broke, is bringing real conversations about money, growth, and building your future. This month, hear from top streamer, Zoe Spencer, and venture capitalist Lakeisha Landrum Pierre, as they share their journeys from starting out to leveling up. If I'm outside with my parents and they see all these people come up to me for pictures, it's like, what?
Starting point is 01:23:39 Today now, obviously, it's like 100%. They believe everything. But at first, it was just like, you got to go get a real job. There's an economic component to communities thriving. If there's not enough money and entrepreneurship happening in communities, they fail. And what I mean by fail is they don't have money to pay for food. They cannot feed their kids. They do not have homes.
Starting point is 01:23:58 Communities don't work unless there's money flowing through them. Listen to Eating While Broke from the Black Effect Podcast Network on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. You guys can vouch for me here or tell me I'm wrong, but I don't want to have a temper. I don't really get affected and turn into some sort of monster. I'll yell. Would you guys say that's accurate? Pretty accurate. If anything, I go the opposite way and I'm just like when I'm upset, I get quieter and just kind of shut myself down and off until I can figure it out and then come back out of my show.
Starting point is 01:24:26 Accurate-ish? Yeah. Yeah. Okay. I was at the airport on Friday. And I also say don't mess people at the airport, meaning don't get crazy on a plane, don't start any drama, don't mess with TSA people. Big believer in not messing with them because you just want to get to your place. You want to go point A to B with the least resistance possible.
Starting point is 01:24:47 I get a call and I'm going through the security line. Big line in the, put your bag through, beep, come on through. Big line there. So I get a call from one of our bosses named Kevin Legrette in Los Angeles. He's calling about stuff and I'm like, can't talk. Now I'm in airport security and he's like, yeah, likely story. He just don't want to talk. He's just kidding.
Starting point is 01:25:05 So I take a picture and show him the big line in front of me. I'm still in the line. And so I go up and I go through and as soon as I grab my bag after it goes through the little box that sees that there's no drugs or weapons inside of my suitcase, I got my suitcase and a TSA agent comes over to me and he goes, do you take pictures of our screens? And at first I thought he was being funny and I thought it was a listener. I'll be honest with you. And I said, no, I didn't.
Starting point is 01:25:30 He goes, someone just saw you take pictures of our screens. security screens and you can't do that. I need to see in your phone. I said, I need to see in your phone. I don't know why I said it. I don't know why I said it. It wasn't like big and brave and cool, but he said, I need to see in your phone.
Starting point is 01:25:45 I said, I need to see in your phone. That's a good comeback, though. That's great, dude. It's like, I'm seven years old. My son. Yes. I just thought, how ridiculous. First of all, I didn't take a picture of the screens.
Starting point is 01:25:55 And I was back like 11 people. I wasn't even into the machine yet. And the screens are right there when they can see like the guts and all the insides and the x-ray. You got to be right up near to take a picture of the screen. And so, again, he goes and he's going to see in your phone. I said, I need to see in your phone. He said, I'm not kidding here. I said, I'm not kidding here. Then I decided, I'm just going to repeat everything he says. Oh, no, no, no, no. Because I know you ever, what am I? Yes. Yeah, that is good. Absolutely, because I don't want to say anything that would get me in trouble.
Starting point is 01:26:20 Excuse me. But isn't that sort of? Probably. It's stupid. Again, I'm 11. But I knew that I wouldn't say anything that I wouldn't be allowed to say that's going to get me kicked out of the airport if I just repeated him back. Okay. So I was just going to wait him out. And so, I need to see your phone. I didn't see it in your phone. And he said to me, I don't think you want to do this because you'll miss your flight. Now, I didn't repeat the whole thing back to him because I was lazy.
Starting point is 01:26:45 And I said, well, I think you'll miss your flight. And about the time I was going to get in trouble, and I know it. Somebody walks over and whispers in his ear and he goes, you can go. Now, whomever that other TSA agent was, who I think was a listener. Yeah, I probably saw it. Don't mess up. I would like to say thank you because I was going to get myself in trouble. You're going to airport jail. It was just dumb.
Starting point is 01:27:07 I didn't take a picture of it. You don't ask to see in someone's phone. He had outside of a bar bouncer complex where you have no authority, so all of a sudden you get a little bit. So you want to go and make sure everybody knows you're the sheriff in town. I should not have reacted the way I did. Even my wife was like, just don't do that. She's like, do what you say to do. just do the easiest thing possible and just get out of there.
Starting point is 01:27:28 But I'm not showing on my phone. It doesn't matter. I don't have a bunch of wiener picks in there. If so, I think it would be hilarious if you saw those. But guy came, chest puffed out, trying to enforce some dumb rule that wasn't even true. And I got to get on the plane and get out of there. That's so out of character. So it was just that he asked to look in your phone that kind of made you click?
Starting point is 01:27:50 It was that he just like showed up and was like, I'm, ooh-o-woo. Like he's the new sheriff in town He's a see in my phone You don't ask to see him my phone You don't ask to see my phone You don't see my medicine cabinet You want to see my pants? What do you want to see?
Starting point is 01:28:04 They start there Where do we go? Medical records? Yeah, yeah, slippery slope. Yes. And I don't think they can ask to see in your phone. They're TSA. It's not FBI or CIA.
Starting point is 01:28:17 All right, different letters. Like I get, okay, so fine, maybe if there is a rule that you're not supposed to photograph it. Yeah, but I didn't. Right, I know, but I'm thinking. But there is no sign that says you can't photograph. And there's no sign.
Starting point is 01:28:27 That's true. Okay. There's no sign. But I'm just thinking, my attorney is really looking out from here long house. Yes. And being a way he could have said it is, hey, dude. Yes, that's what I told Caitlin.
Starting point is 01:28:36 If you took a pick, could you go ahead and do me a favor and delete that? Yes. Or that's great. Let's go. Because how do it? Caitlin said, well, first of all, I understand why you're upset. But you often say don't cause trouble on an airport because it's not worth it. And she's right.
Starting point is 01:28:52 It would not have been worth it had I had to miss the flight. but I don't like to be told what to do and I don't want people to tell me to open my phone up and had he said hey man someone just had alerted me that there were some people
Starting point is 01:29:05 taking pictures of the screens I don't know if it was you or not but if you took a picture of our screen would you just make sure not to not to share that or please delete it. I didn't like oh yeah sorry I actually took a picture from back in line
Starting point is 01:29:13 do you want to the picture I took that shows you how far away I was from the screen just don't ask to see it because then I'll repeat after you Amy so you're TSA right now okay no no no no I'll actually show Amy I mean how low
Starting point is 01:29:24 hilarious. They can just repeat everything. That's so great. Look, that's the it's how far back I was. Oh yeah. That's really far. You can't even see a screen. That's my point! He didn't know that because I wouldn't show him. That's right. And then I repeated after him.
Starting point is 01:29:41 That's crazy, dude. I shouldn't have done it. I like apologize. But it's like you committed. I did commit and I was going to commit and I was going to jail. They were going to send me to, you know, whatever place they sent terrorists. It is what it is. You're in a lot of us. You're in a lot of us.
Starting point is 01:29:54 boarded for sure. The whole thing was about to happen. I was not going to give up. Did you snap a pick of him as he walked off? I did not. A little bit of me was still scared while it was happening too. If I'm being honest. I wasn't like big tough guy. I was kind of like, oh God. Oh no. Oh no. Anyway, so there's that. I did that. I'm not proud of it. I should practice what I preach all the time instead of most times. But I reacted. I didn't respond. Reacting stuff. Reacting is you when it happens. That's your lizard brain. They say flips up. You're just in reaction mode. So lizards are like, f, my goal in life has been to respond more.
Starting point is 01:30:27 And I think generally I do that better. Where something happens and if I don't like it, initially it's negative, I can go, okay. In 48 hours, how would I have liked to have responded to this when I look back? Mostly I'm good except show me your phone. Show me your phone. Unless that happens. I think I was just also tired from, and I've been sick. And that also has a lot to do with it.
Starting point is 01:30:55 I've been sick for like six days. Amy's sick, as you can hear. Abby's been out sick. I have a cough that just will not go away. I went to the doctor yesterday. I mean, even talking now, like I want to go off, but I'm going to try to hold it in. I have inhalers. My doctor has told me that I probably have adult asthma.
Starting point is 01:31:12 Oh, man. Which only kind of rears its head. And I could be saying some of this wrong. So if I say something's wrong, it's not his fault. It's me if you're hearing it wrong. When I get a cold or I get allergies or then it really kicks into play. and so now we're kind of dealing with that. But, I know, Amy's just, like I said, her voice is still messed up.
Starting point is 01:31:30 Oh, yeah, I cough all night. Abby, I was talking to Abby, and so were you, like, we were sharing cough cocktails. Yeah, what are you taking? Here's this, Mitch. Try this. So I think a lot of people are going through this, but that's why our voices sound weird, and that's probably why a little bit I was like, show me your phone. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:31:45 See, but that's also, like, that's exactly what happens to my son. I'm like, oh, you're tired. You're hungry. You're, oh, yeah. I don't really get hair. angry, but I do, I guess, if I'm sick, get sangry. What is it? H, you're supposed to, halt.
Starting point is 01:32:05 Are you, H, are you hungry? No. Are you angry? Are you an A hole? L? Are you lonely? Are you a loser? Yes.
Starting point is 01:32:13 Lonely? Lonely? What? Are you tired? T. I think those are the four things you're supposed to ask yourself if you're irritable. Yeah. Let me go over and talk to Elizabeth in Florida.
Starting point is 01:32:22 anyway, do as I say, not always as I do. Elizabeth, you are on the show. Good morning. Good morning. What's going on? I just wanted to call to say, we love y'all. We listen to you guys just about every morning. Thank you.
Starting point is 01:32:39 And we want to listen to the Tuesday song. Oh, you got it. I'm going to try to do this without coughing. This is tough because, yeah. I've had a rough five or six days. The worst is I'm going to share. Thank you, Elizabeth. and I will, we'll get to the song in a second.
Starting point is 01:32:53 I'm not going to say much about it yet, but I had to do MRI on Thursday evening on my head. And so having a cough and going into an MRI, we have to sit in that machine for 50 minutes and not move. It was like torture training. Where I feel like cough and I have to hold it for three minutes because a little voice inside goes, three minutes.
Starting point is 01:33:13 And there's only a brief time in between once to the next. And they would go and I'll be like, and then back down. And I'd feel like come on. And it's like, you don't have to cough. You don't have to cough. You don't have to. And I actually did it, which is pretty cool.
Starting point is 01:33:31 Wow. It was very, very hard. Yeah, it's very hard. Okay, let's hit him with some Tuesday songs. Songs about Tuesday, and Tuesdays often suck for everybody. Everybody loves Fridays and Saturdays. There are no songs about Tuesday. So we wrote this.
Starting point is 01:33:43 We'll start with the chorus. Here we go. Tuesday. H-O-A-D-D-S-Day. Housewife's going boo-stay. I'm just talking about Tuesday. All right. The best day of the week.
Starting point is 01:33:56 week you all know it's my time so i made a song about tuesday so happens it rhymes the lowest number of crimes super bingo at five don't know how you do your tuesday this is how i do mine the sun comes up there's a smile on my mouth why because i love tuesday is the first thing i shout free zumba this morning and every tuesday at five i got my spandex on it's time to head to the why tuesday H-O-A-D-S-day, Housewives going boo-day, I'm just talking about Tuesday. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Tuesday, brown cow goes moose-day, eat some cash-s-day. I'm just talking about Tuesday.
Starting point is 01:34:35 Hey, it's Tuesday. Is my recycling on the curb as a drive-off? Yep, my recycling's on the curb. I mean, Fridays are fine because they're casual and all, but I'm always more productive on my Tuesday conference call. My after-work plans. I got my spray tan. I'm drinking lemon water out of me some cayenne.
Starting point is 01:34:51 Pebbles and bam bam. I'm watching C-SPAN. And then it's two-for-one. It's Sonic with a conie in each hand. I'm saying, Tuesday. HOA Tuesday. Housewife's going booze. I'm just talking about Tuesday.
Starting point is 01:35:05 Hey. Tuesday. Brown cow goes moose-day. Eat some cash-use. Day. I'm just talking about Tuesday. All right. I go to Marty.
Starting point is 01:35:17 on a Tuesday I go to Crop Maga on a Tuesday I'm playing Pokemon on a Tuesday came out of my mom on a Tuesday Wow
Starting point is 01:35:29 Listen if that's for you Shout out everybody out there Living a Tuesday Living the most Tuesday Live you could possibly live Tuesday Moose Day Cushus Day
Starting point is 01:35:35 We did everything we could Rondu Thank you very much All right There you go We also announced All my shows On my comedically
Starting point is 01:35:41 inspirational tour If you live in the cities Of Tampa Louisville Vegas Tampa I forgot. D.C.
Starting point is 01:35:51 D.C. Virginia. Wichita. Wichita. Wichita. We got to. Thank you. Thank you. You guys follow in the story.
Starting point is 01:36:00 I mean, following the story of the Lost Titanic tourist submarine? Yeah, it's tragic. Terrible. Yeah. Hopefully it doesn't end up tragic, tragic.
Starting point is 01:36:09 That they find them. So they're just missing? Yeah. Yeah. So here's what's up? And they're going to run out of oxygen. Thursday. Oh, no.
Starting point is 01:36:17 So they have two days. So here's the deal. There's a submarine. It's like you go and you pay money. What would we compare to? A Vegas helicopter going to look at the Grand Canyon? There you go. Right? You go. Yeah, similar. A submarine exploring the Titanic wreck has lost contact with the surface. A search and rescue mission is currently taking place. Here is Rear Admiral John Magwer of the U.S. Coast Guard talking about the current rescue mission. We are doing everything that we can do to make sure that we can locate and rescue those on for. It is a challenge to conduct a search in that remote area, but we are deploying all available
Starting point is 01:36:56 assets to make sure that we can locate the craft and rescue the people on board. The missing vessel isn't actually a submarine. What is called is a submissible. It's named Titan. It has very limited communication and very limited navigation controls, which is really operated by a video game controller. And it carries five people, usually two crew members. and three tourists, and they go down to view the wreckage of the Titanic, which sank in 1912.
Starting point is 01:37:24 So they left Newfoundland, Canada on Saturday. They started the dive inside the Titan early Sunday morning. Contact was lost after about less than two hours. The Titanic rests at 13,000 feet underwater. Now, let me compare that to something. The one time, I was miserable. I went skydiving. And I jumped from 12,000 feet up high.
Starting point is 01:37:46 You got to get pretty high. This is that, but down. the water. That is so crazy. And they said that they can't, they don't know where they go. They rely on text messages from the people on land to tell them where to go. Tidon is capable of descending about that far.
Starting point is 01:38:01 It takes about two hours for them to get down to the wreckage. It's urgent. They had been underwater for more than 24 hours. There's only between 70 and 96 hours of air on board. There's also very limited food and water because why would you take it? You're going to be back in a minute anyway. According to reports,
Starting point is 01:38:16 the five passengers include a British billionaire and explorer named Hamish Harding, a former French Navy commander and Titanic expert named Paul Henry Nargale, a businessman named Shazada Daywood and his 19-year-old son, and the CEO of Ocean Gate Stockton Rush. It sounds like there's a lot of rich people on here, though, so I'm sure they'll have other voyages, other attempts to save them more so than just the military or whomever is searching, Yeah, which could be a positive, but it's, it's so down there. And yeah, the communication, they can't talk on radio.
Starting point is 01:38:53 Like, like so, they can only text message. There are four possible causes for a communication breakdown like this, loss of power, a short circuit that could cause fire. Any amount of flooding obviously would be disastrous because you're, it's not, it's flooding, but that's also air. I mean, that's basically what's out there and it comes in. You can't breathe it. or you get caught up in the debris.
Starting point is 01:39:16 The best case scenario would be that you're at or near the surface and you just can't ping anyone. Now they're very expensive to do this as $250,000 a pop. Wow, that's really high. So a little different than a helicopter tour, but... Yeah. It'd be like a trip to Mars. It'd be like if you wanted to do the helicopter tour
Starting point is 01:39:34 but you wanted to wear a jet pack. If it costs to that. But all that being said, like, we're really freaking rooting that they find these people. I don't think this has ever happened to this level. And 13,000 feet, that is so far down. That is so far down. And there is no update, right?
Starting point is 01:39:53 Like I pulled this story like two hours ago. Nothing. Okay. Oof. Well, thinking about him praying for them. Imagine if you're them. That's what I think about that. And you're just trapped.
Starting point is 01:40:03 You're just sitting there going. I mean, they could not even be alive anymore. But yeah, you're sitting there and you're like, you hung up on a piece of debris. And the guy's like, wait. And then those guys have to tell you at some point. If I talking to his buddy, he's like, okay, I think we can get out of this. It's like, we have to tell them. But they can't talk with people.
Starting point is 01:40:24 They can just receive text messages, basically. And I think they said it's a video game controller. I think it's an Xbox controller that controls that boat, which you would think for $250,000 of pop you'd have something better than an Xbox controller controlling the boat. Well, I didn't even think it was possible to go down there. That's why they just sent, like, things down there to take pictures. Maybe it's possible if you pay that kind of money.
Starting point is 01:40:44 I mean, think about that. It's $250,000 of pop. You're looking at a million dollars. Over a million dollars with people paid to go down, all in. Oh, something I didn't see has Titan, that's the name of it, right? Gone down before, taking other people successfully? I believe so, right? Yeah, like, it's a company.
Starting point is 01:40:58 I don't know. I just didn't know if this was like. I don't think it's the first time. Okay. So that was one of the big news stories this morning. Can I also say something? I learned about this. I didn't realize that Titanic sank right by Canada.
Starting point is 01:41:10 No idea. It didn't. Well, Newfoundland, they won the map. It looks like it's close to Canada. I'm like, oh, who knew? I'd be interested to see exactly where in the water. Mike, can you pull up a map before the Titanic sank? Because... It's closer to the U.S., but I mean, it's still in the middle of the Atlantic. Correct. It's even north of like New York. So maybe that's just where the company came from, but... Yeah, I'm just saying, I didn't realize it was that close to... I thought it was just out, way out the middle of the ocean. Like, I had no idea they were close to any land. So the Titanic sank It was go Oh wow
Starting point is 01:41:43 You know what I'm telling you It's up there But it was on the way to New York Right Mike And it's kind of in the middle of a bunch Of the ocean It kind of is in the middle of the ocean Definitely closer to
Starting point is 01:41:54 New York Upper East Coast Canada But if I were going to try to get to it I think I would leave Canada to get to it It's crazy Yeah that's crazy Well that is bad news And hopefully we get to report
Starting point is 01:42:04 Some good news Tomorrow or maybe you see it later Bobby Bones Show Bonehead This story comes us from Chicago, Illinois. A man from Minnesota said, man, I think I'm going to go rob a couple banks. I'm going to drive over to Chicago and do it. So he drives over, robs a bank, gets away with it.
Starting point is 01:42:22 Next week, drives back, Rob's a bank gets away with it. Only problem is he left the cash in his car, left the keys in the car when he got back to Minnesota. Someone stole the car. Someone stole the cash. Did he call and report it? No, no. He got the keys in the car. He got tracked down because they got his license plate from when he robbed the bank.
Starting point is 01:42:41 And when he got arrested, he was like, man, I don't have the money. Because someone stole my car and I left the money in the car. So when they caught him, they then learned he lost. Yes, he lost. That's like double bonehead. The robber got robbed. Yeah, and then had to admit it. That's crazy.
Starting point is 01:42:55 Because mostly if you get robbed, you just go, well, chalk it up to bad luck. But I can't tell anybody. But he had to tell somebody. Wow. That sucks. You know, it's weird back in the day, not even back in the day. 70s. Before we were all, well, so baddie. But.
Starting point is 01:43:10 79, dude. Yeah, you were the only one born in the 70s here. But you could go commit crimes in other states. And that's showbiz, baby. You go back to your real estate, free as a bird. Because those people didn't talk to each other. There was no internet. Like, what? Like Ted Bundy was out killing, doing bad stuff. Just drive back to his normal state, live life. And there wasn't
Starting point is 01:43:29 license flight readers back then, right, Eddie? No, no. No, man, not that I remember, really. Yeah, Eddie, talk about that. Man, that's crazy, dude. Everything was black and white. When you guys came to the new world. What was it like? All right, lunchbox. I'm Lunchbox.
Starting point is 01:43:40 That's your bonehead story of the day. Lunchbox, what's your beef with scuba, Steve? I mean, you want to talk about poser of all posers. He's all about Orlando Magic. I love the Orlando Magic back and shack and all the... And then the Denver Nuggets win the NBA championship, and I see Scoob in a Denver Nuggets jersey. That's so good.
Starting point is 01:43:58 I didn't know Scoobo was loyal to the Nuggets. Either not. I never heard him talk about Denver. Never heard him talking about the Nuggets. All of a sudden he facetimes me for something about work about some client thing and he's wearing a Denver Nuggets jersey and I'm like, dude, what are you That is a felony sports offense, scuba. I don't think it is because if you hear my side of the story, so I'm not.
Starting point is 01:44:16 We're good on not hearing it. All right, thanks, lunchbox. Go ahead, go ahead. So my whole thing is, yes, I was wearing it that day after. The day after. But it was a vintage Denver Nuggets to Kenbe Matumbo from the 80s. So I not only am a fan of the Atlanta Magic, but I'm a fan of the 80s and 90s basketball. So I've got a bunch of old jerseys.
Starting point is 01:44:33 I can agree because I have. old shirts that were from like the 1989 NBA finals and it's like Magic Johnson versus and I'll wear those. I'm not a Lakers fan. If it's vintage I think it does give you a little space to not pose. What about it being the day
Starting point is 01:44:50 after the championship he was wearing it around? I did it on purpose. I know it wore. So people would think he's a Denver Nuggets fan. No doubt. I did it because it was supported the team. I think it's really cool to see a team win something for the first time. Like my team has never done it. Plus I paired it with some Adidas to come in with Tembo shoes. So it's pretty fly. Yeah, we didn't notice that.
Starting point is 01:45:05 I'm okay with it at first I was not okay with it We were gonna put him in sports jail But I think because it was Was it vintage or fake vintage? No, it was real It was like the Mitchell and Ness Type jersey you guys in the store
Starting point is 01:45:17 So it was kind of fake vintage then No yeah it wasn't like actually from the 80s correct So you're gonna serve a little time You're gonna do community service Okay that's fair You're gonna do go clean up the streets That kind of community service so No hard time that's all right
Starting point is 01:45:32 Okay thank you lunchbox We did need to talk about that today Okay, let's go over now and do the Good News Countdown. It's the Good News Countdown. Counting down the biggest good news stories across the lab. Let's go. Number three. 13 years ago, a waitress in Southern California named Carrie had the idea to save all of her dimes from work.
Starting point is 01:45:55 The goal was to use them to pay for a graduation trip for her daughter to go to Hawaii. Well, 13 years later, her daughter's graduated. She cashed in her dimes, which was almost $6,000 in dimes. Wow. Which was enough for her and her daughter, both to go to Oahu for seven days. They'll leave next month. It'll be their first trip to Hawaii. That's so cool.
Starting point is 01:46:13 That's pretty cool. Let's go. Number two. A UPS driver from Phoenix is being celebrated for retiring after 50 years on the job. Here is Mark Wolston talking about how much he loves the job and what he plans on doing during his retirement. Thank heavens. I stuck with it. And a few weeks later, I fell in love with the job and I've been doing it ever since.
Starting point is 01:46:31 You have to physically have a lot of stamina. You've got to be strong. It's almost like an athlete. I'm definitely going to play some golf and pickleball. It's taken me at least four weeks to wrap my mind around the whole idea of retiring. But I am really looking forward to spending more time with my wife and my three daughters and my four grandchildren. Good job, buddy. All right, number one.
Starting point is 01:46:52 Number one. An 82-year-old crossing guard in Delaware named Dolores is also retiring after 51 years of being the crossing guard. And she's celebrating her retirement by crossing an idol. off of her bucket list. She is 82. Let's say it again. Eight, then two. She's 82 and she's getting a nose piercing.
Starting point is 01:47:11 Here she is talking about why she retired. Well, it's been a pleasure being here 51 years. My husband retired from General Motors. I just decided that it was time for me to leave now. She should go full bull in her nose. Right in the middle? Yeah. What's that called?
Starting point is 01:47:32 What septum piercing? If you're going to do it, Dolores, go hard. 82, just a number. Heck, flip it around 28. Oh, yeah. That's it. Congratulations.
Starting point is 01:47:42 That's pretty cool. That is the good news countdown. That was the good news countdown. Okay, we announced all the shows on my comedically inspirational tour.
