Starting point is 00:00:00 This is an I-Heart podcast. Guaranteed Human. In 2023, Bachelor star Clayton Eckerd was accused of fathering twins. But the pregnancy appeared to be a hoax. You doctored this particular test twice, Ms. Owens, correct? I doctored the test ones. It took an army of internet detectives to uncover a disturbing pattern. Two more men who'd been through the same thing.
Starting point is 00:00:24 Greg Gillespie and Michael Mianini. My mind was blown. I'm Stephanie Young. this is Love Trapped. Laura, Scottsdale Police. As the season continues, Laura Owens finally faces consequences. Listen to Love Trapped podcast
Starting point is 00:00:38 on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. When a group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist, they take matters into their own hands. I vowed, I will be his last target. He is not going to get away with this. He's going to get what he deserves.
Starting point is 00:00:58 We always say that trust your girlfriends. Listen to the girlfriends. Trust me, babe. On the IHart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. I'm Ikew, I got you. And I'm I go on. My next guest, it's Will Farrell. My dad gave me the best advice ever.
Starting point is 00:01:24 He goes, just give it a shot. But if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit. If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration. It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat. Just hang in there. Yeah, it would not be. Right, it wouldn't be that. There's a lot of luck.
Starting point is 00:01:47 Listen to Thanks Dad on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. What's up? Welcome to Tuesdays show. Morning Studio. Morning. Man, glad you guys are here. Let's go around the room and check in. He got his degree at Sam, Houston State.
Starting point is 00:02:13 And he helped lunchbox unveil. what was in the Amazon crate. Here he is. Producer Eddie, let's go. Guys, my wife came to me and said, I want something, and I had to put my foot down and say, no, we're not doing this.
Starting point is 00:02:25 She was watching the news, and apparently some lady that lived in a house, she got sick, the ambulance came, took her to the hospital. They found over 100 chihuahuas in her house. So the Humane Association had to, like, take those animals out, and there are 100 chihuahuas out to need adoption.
Starting point is 00:02:43 And my wife's like, please, please get us to chewawas. And I'm like, no, we're not getting a chihuah. There's no chance. We already have a dog. And that dog doesn't get along with any other dog. And my wife's like, it's okay, we can separate them. One can stay on the bottom floor or the other one can be on the second floor.
Starting point is 00:02:58 Like, we need this chihuahuas. And I'm like, no, because my wife, when we were dating, she had a chihuahua. And we got married. We had another chihuahua. And they both died. And so we're not doing that. I had to put my foot down. Did you like the dog?
Starting point is 00:03:10 Yeah, they're fine. But we already have a dog. And I told my wife, after this dog is done. We're not getting any more pets. We're not getting any more pets. We're done. Wow, you hate dogs. No, I don't.
Starting point is 00:03:20 She really wants one. But he's got four kids and a dog. Four kids, a dog, and you know who feeds the dog every day? I do. You know who walks the dog every day? I do. Really? Even with the four kids?
Starting point is 00:03:29 Even with the four kids. I have to remind them. If I'm out of town, don't forget to feed the dog. They will. Yes. Well, good luck on holding steady with that. I already put my foot down. He loves to ride his bike to work in the fall.
Starting point is 00:03:41 And with winter coming, we're just waiting for the, I need a ride phone call. Here's the lunchbox. Well, we all got got by fake news. Bobby, Amy, Eddie, Morgan, Mike D, me, everybody got got by fake news. Came on here and talked about that hottie who tattooed Kevin on her forehead. It was all fake. It was a message that she was trying to get out to young people saying, hey, you're going to regret your tattoos. Here's the audio.
Starting point is 00:04:08 I regret my tattoo. The video of me getting my boyfriend's name tattoo on my phone. forehead went viral. All of the big social media platforms, newspapers, radio stations were talking about it. This actually not a real tattoo. And the reason why I treat the whole internet is that I have a message to young people and all of the people who wants to get covered in tattoos. I want everyone to know that I regret my tattoos and you might regret yours when you get older. So it wasn't so much fake news. It was an experiment.
Starting point is 00:04:49 It was like a PSA. Like, hey. And we were all like, oh my gosh, she's undidable. No, none of us said she's undatable. You might have said that, but. No, we said the only person she could date is a Kevin. Right, to other Kevin's. But she's not endable to everybody.
Starting point is 00:05:02 Yeah. She's pretty good-looking. Yeah. That was also why I was stunned that she got a tattoo on her face. It wasn't real. No, she's pretty, yeah, I know. All right, moving on, she may have convinced Eddie to get hair transplants and turkey, and her morning corny can be quite quirky.
Starting point is 00:05:15 Here's Amy. So I saw Patrick Mahomes. I was talking to Peyton and Eli Manning about how he has worn the same underwear every NFL game since his rookie year. Huh. He washes them. But I was like, wow.
Starting point is 00:05:29 Is that cool to you? Weird to you? I mean, he's just got to keep the superstition. So I guess it seems to be working for him. He's had a pretty good career. So if I wore the same underwear every day, you think that's cool? He washes them.
Starting point is 00:05:42 He's also won championships. Right. I have two. Yeah, but. I don't know that you would wash them. Yeah, co-ed soccer. Oh, easy trivia. Yep.
Starting point is 00:05:50 Yeah. I mean, things like that. True. True, true, true, true. Maybe you don't change your underwear until you lose easy trivia. That might be a thing. Do you all do anything, like, in general, for luck or something you carry with you or wear? I have some shoes that I wear to Arkansas basketball games that they were undefeated forever.
Starting point is 00:06:08 They've had a couple losses. But as long as they don't lose two in a row, they still are my lucky shoes. If I ever wear them in two games in a row and they lose twice, They have to be retired. But I do have shoes, but I don't wear them every game. But I have that. But I don't believe in superstition, but I still follow a lot of them just in case I'm wrong. Right.
Starting point is 00:06:24 Yeah. You guys have anything? I'll wear the same shirt when Kansas is on a winning streak. And then when they lose, I change shirts. Put that one in the washer. I sit in the same spot. It's all sports for us. Like if I'm on the couch and I'm sitting on a certain spot and they win a game,
Starting point is 00:06:37 that spot is the next game. And they lose, I move. You have anything? I don't. No. Really? No. Like when you go to yoga, you don't have the same park?
Starting point is 00:06:45 spot or something like so you have a good back bend or back bend? Random. Thank you. Thank you. Right. Go ahead. From Mountain Pine, Arkansas.
Starting point is 00:06:53 His hair is getting long and word is he's good at ping pong. Bobby Bones. We watched the show. I don't know if you guys have seen it because it's been out for like a year and a half, but it's called Shining Girls. Have you ever watched it on Apple Plus? Nope. You know the girl, Elizabeth Moss.
Starting point is 00:07:08 She is in the show where they all wear red and handmade's tail. Oh, yeah. And so she also was in Mad Men back in the day. So it's called Shining Girls, and it starts off and it's very dark. And I'll reach you the plot here. This newspaper archivist, Kirby, dreams of becoming a journalist. She survives a brutal attack, and it leaves her reality constantly shifting. We watched, I think there are eight episodes, and it's off a book, so it's done.
Starting point is 00:07:36 There's no season two. But we watched it. The first episode was like, I don't know if I can handle this. It may be too dark for me. By the end of it, we could not stop watching. Really? It gets an 86% of rotten tomatoes. I'm just going to recommend it.
Starting point is 00:07:52 It's good. It's really good. On Apple Plus, you said? Yeah, I think that's where it is. Yeah, Apple Plus. You said Hands Made Tail, just side note. Whatever happened to that show. They had like eight seasons, and I think the world's got good again, and they quit.
Starting point is 00:08:05 I mean, like, did anybody watch the end? I think COVID got them. I don't know. That's what got them. I never watched that one. It's called, yes. Shining Girls. It's based off a book.
Starting point is 00:08:17 It's good. It's really good. All right. You know what the show we like? We like watching poker face. Which one's that one? On Peacock. What's that?
Starting point is 00:08:26 Yeah, Natasha Leon. It's kind of old school feeling. Oh. So she can like tell us somebody's lying. Oh. Also. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay, that sounds familiar.
Starting point is 00:08:36 81%. Handmaids tell season six is supposed to come out in 2020. It's still happening? It's still happening? What if the world is actually over by then? The irony, huh? All right, boom. Let's open up the mailbag.
Starting point is 00:08:49 You send an email and we read it all the air. It's something we call Bobby's mailbag. Yeah. Hello, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, bobi. I got a private message on Facebook from a woman that I do not know. The message said, hey, do you know that your husband has a 39-year-old illegitimate son? And he has been hoping all these years you would never find out. So my husband and I were high school sweethearts.
Starting point is 00:09:14 We've been married for 38 years with two grown daughters. I thought it was a scam and ignored it. But I decided after a while to message her back. She is engaged to my husband's illegitimate son. That's how she knows. She informed me that he doesn't know who his father is. All they had to go on is a name and where he was from. And it happens to be where my husband was from in his name. The age of this supposed son does line up with the summer that we broke up. So I can't, oh God. It's not good So I can't stop thinking about it
Starting point is 00:09:49 Yeah the scammer wouldn't know when you guys broke up No I also checked out his Facebook page And his resemblance to my husband It's pretty right on We both recently turned 60 And this is a true shock Should I tell my husband about this
Starting point is 00:10:04 Or just forget about it What? Signed, wondering why What's good? She's asking That's why people email us They should still judge Amy Okay, okay sorry, sorry
Starting point is 00:10:14 Yes, yes, you talk to him about it. Yes. Maybe he doesn't know though. I would think he doesn't know. Yeah, yeah, yeah, but that's why you get to talk to him about it. Or maybe he does. Hey, babe. Oh, man, that's a tough conversation. Mm-hmm. So, I do.
Starting point is 00:10:30 They've been together a long time. They're 60 years old. But you act like 60. They're about to die. No, no. 60's a new 30, man. I'm saying, what? No, I'm saying with age comes maturity. Yeah, that's a big shock. Yeah, this is a big one. I don't. If he didn't do anything wrong, Right. It's just going to be some growing and understanding you guys have to do with that person and of the situation.
Starting point is 00:10:54 How exciting. You have a son you don't know about. If he did something wrong. Exciting? Yeah. Maybe. At least you don't have to raise another baby. That's true. They're really old. Because they had two girls, I think, you say? Yeah, but no, it's not even, it's just not a baby though. I know. But maybe they always wanted a boy. Yeah, you have to have the conversation. It doesn't, the only reason it doesn't feel like a scam to. me is because that timeline kind of matches up. Yeah, because initially, yeah, that sounds just like a scam, right? And here's what you do to make him feel safe.
Starting point is 00:11:23 You go to him and go, hey, when we broke up, did you hook up with anybody else? Oh my gosh. No. And then see how he reacts. And then see what he says. No, go, go, go, go, go, go. Do you print out that kids, the son's Facebook page and be like, do you look like this guy? No, no, no, just put it on the refrigerator.
Starting point is 00:11:39 Don't say anything. And he's like, who's that? And then you say, your son. That's you. That's your genetics. Oh my goodness. All seriousness, I think you just go, hey, I got this really weird message. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:52 Do you think there's any validity to this? You don't slide it in. You don't have to be super soft or sensitive, but you also don't go out of them aggressively. Just like, this is really weird. And then you can't. I shouldn't say can't because you might try not to be judgmental of something that happened that many years ago. Because obviously over the last 30, however long you guys have been married, he has proven to you that he does love you.
Starting point is 00:12:14 and is trustworthy and all of these things. Yes, and he may not know that he has an illegitial. He probably doesn't, right? Probably doesn't. That's tough. I'm rooting that Mori opens the envelope, but it's not your kid. But I got a feeling. Looks just like him, man.
Starting point is 00:12:28 Yeah, I got a feeling it is. Although, you know what the ultimate prank would be? Do that to somebody, but take an old picture of them and run it through like an AI, like a young version or like one of those filters? No, no. The ultimate prank on who? Oh, that's terrible, dude. And then be like, I think this is your kid.
Starting point is 00:12:43 And you're like, well, it does look just like me, but it's really a filter of them, literally. Oh, my goodness. Dude, you give me a heart attack. That's the best prank. What? Like, no, that's terrible. I don't think we can be friends after that one. That's pretty good, though.
Starting point is 00:12:54 But, golly, you would be. No. All right, thank you guys. Good luck. Good luck with that. Hey, fill us in. Like, update us to if you would like to do that. We'd like to hear about what happens later.
Starting point is 00:13:04 All right, that's the mail bag. Close it up. We've got your email and we've read it on the air. Now it's about to close Bobby's mail bag. Yeah. These are the best classic country songs of all time. Lunchbox knows nothing about music, not just country music, but any music. And people will go like, why do you have a guy on the doesn't know country?
Starting point is 00:13:24 No, he doesn't know about any format. So it's all the same, right? Yeah. He doesn't even like music, really. Doesn't like it. It's fine. Yeah, if it's there, I'll listen to it. I'm not seeking it.
Starting point is 00:13:34 So I have 10. All I need for Lunchbox to do is get the artist. Come on, dude. You can do this. I can do this. And these are the best of all time. These are the best classic country songs of all time. You just have to get the artist.
Starting point is 00:13:48 I can tell you the title of the song and everything. Okay. How many do you think you can get? Probably eight. Okay. Eight out of ten? No way. You want to under, Eddie?
Starting point is 00:13:56 I'll go under. Yes. Because there's a bet. I'll put 50 bucks on it because. That's a lot. Yeah. Because that's how much I want. I wouldn't like that bet.
Starting point is 00:14:05 50 bucks. I'll bet against you, Eddie, because lunchbox doesn't know what they are. I'll bet 50 bucks that he can get over eight. I'm not betting eight. There's no way. I bet he can get, dude, five. Five, so 50%. You don't have to take it?
Starting point is 00:14:26 I don't think I can do five, because I think he'll get, I bet he'll get six. Okay, then I can take an under then. Okay, I bet he gets at least six. Okay, if he gets five or less, I win. Boom. 50 bucks. Okay. Here we go.
Starting point is 00:14:41 Come on, lunch. The first song is called, Your Cheating Heart, Name the Artist. Oh, you mean real classic. Yeah, dude, classic. What do you have there? That's our boy. But sleep won't come. Conway, Twitty.
Starting point is 00:15:03 Incorrect. That is Hank Williams. Senior. Hank Williams. No, I know, but he only knows Junior because he was here. But it's Hank Williams. There's no way he knows Senior. Hank William Singer used to sing the football song.
Starting point is 00:15:17 That's Junior. See? I told he votes. All right, here is Mama Try. I've heard that one before. Go ahead. Bo Fisus. Do you mean Bo Cephas?
Starting point is 00:15:33 And that's Hank Williams, Jr. Oh. No, that's incorrect. That would be Merle Haggard. When you went, I thought you had it. Okay, lunchbox. I thought I knew that one.
Starting point is 00:15:44 Crazy. Yeah, I got. Are you sure? Yeah. Bo Fesis? No, no. I don't know. That's a girl.
Starting point is 00:15:54 Are you ready? Patsy Cline. Correct. Yeah, I see. I knew that one. Eddie has one right. Yeah. He has to get six for you to win.
Starting point is 00:16:03 That's all I've only missed two. All right, here's take me home. Country Rose. That's my boy. You keep saying everybody's your boy. Go ahead. John Denver. Correct.
Starting point is 00:16:20 Hey, that are boys. That's two. Good job. See, they referenced that or else I wouldn't have known that. Here is Tennessee whiskey. Your ass is Tennessee whiskey. supposed to be. We talked about this, dude.
Starting point is 00:16:42 You know Stapleton's is a cover. Yeah, I know that now. You're as one. That's a glass of brand. Those things are huge. Best classic country songs of all time. Tennessee whiskey. Who's the artist?
Starting point is 00:17:01 Tennessee whiskey's got to be. George Jones. Correct. Let's go! Let's go! Hey, great guess, dude. Great guess. Who's between George and Conway?
Starting point is 00:17:15 Conway again. All right. Next up, here's Folsom Prison. A little curveball at you. It has to be. It has to be that Folsom County, the guy, Johnny Cash. Is that your answer? Yeah. Correct. That's not your dude? No, I think my dude.
Starting point is 00:17:32 That's four. Oh, man. Eddie, you got money. Let's go, baby. Okay. Here's number seven. Wichita lineman. lunch box Hey we gotta go back to the well
Starting point is 00:17:48 Conway Twitty Incorrect No one heard that song for her Yeah that's Glenn Campbell Don't know who that is By the time I get to Phoenix Ready? Never heard that
Starting point is 00:17:59 You ready? Yeah Hank Williams Jr. Incorrect What Whalen Oh stupid I got cocky
Starting point is 00:18:12 If we would have gotten Willie Would that counted It's You need it both. Lunchbox, you need, there are two left. You need both of these. I got five right, right, right? You have four right.
Starting point is 00:18:23 All right. Keep saying. Here we go. This is more my generation. Go ahead. Dolly Parton. Correct. That's my girl.
Starting point is 00:18:38 What generation is that? That was in the 90s. No, it's not. It was in the 90s? No, it wasn't. My 70s. No way. Yes.
Starting point is 00:18:47 What was it? 73. It sounds more current And your final sign. How does her sound so current Those other ones sound like they are from the freaking 20s? Probably because she's still alive I've put out a bunch of music even after.
Starting point is 00:19:00 All right. Makes sense. Okay, lunchbox, if you can name this artist, you are the winner. Oh, my gosh. Come on, lunch. Nobody do anything. Don't make a sound. I'm not.
Starting point is 00:19:09 Go ahead. Not a sound. You were always long. Eddie, you guys have money. Coming your way, dude. You got your money, dude. This is my boy. Are you ready?
Starting point is 00:19:22 I'm ready, dude. America, are you ready? I'm so happy that you're mine. Will it Nelson! Pay me, my friend. Pay me. What an incredible... The note says LB.
Starting point is 00:19:52 50 bucks. The note says LB. I'll know what that means. How did I do that? How did you do that? Guys, see, that's what's crazy. Is there's music knowledge in there that just pops sometime? Was Bofis ever in there?
Starting point is 00:20:04 And did it pop? And if so, how hard? I pot, but I'm not. I was right on both eases, right? No, you weren't. It's time for the good news. With producer Eddie. Yeah, home it's something good.
Starting point is 00:20:17 So say you're in middle school and you're having a terrible day. You just need something to pick you up. Well, the Bondurant Middle School in Kentucky has the kind line. It's a phone number that you call when you're feeling down. And some kids have recorded some positive messages on there. There's like recorded messages. You call them up and you're like, oh, wow, that makes you feel better. And it's cool.
Starting point is 00:20:37 They're doing, kids are being creative with the message. They're doing all that. And it's inspired other things in the school as well. Like just kids just doing nice things around school. I like the idea. I'd hate for somebody to hack that. Why does your mind go there? They won't.
Starting point is 00:20:49 I like the idea. So I hope they can stay on it. We were driving by, we had left TCU. This is two weeks ago. We were doing our show. I think the episode's up now of too much access. So we go to the facility. We're playing basketball with one of their star players.
Starting point is 00:21:03 We're in the football stadium and with coaches. And we're driving out. And we drive right by a middle. school. And someone makes the joke, hey, we should go out and play ball with them on the court and dominate them because we just got dominated by the college athletes. But then Eddie goes, like, oh, man, there's a kid over there sitting by themselves. Yeah. She was all by herself right by the fence. And none of the kids were playing with her. So what did y'all do? Eddie pulled up, said, do you want to come with us? No, I'm kidding. We didn't. No, I would never do that. But it just made
Starting point is 00:21:28 just make us think about how we should just, kids, if you're with your parents right now, even adults, you can do this too. There have been times where you have been the one that has been feeling isolated or even ostracized from a group. And just remember how that feels and try to make somebody else not feel that way if you see they're doing that. Because I don't know that all these kids were purposefully ignoring this girl. And we only saw like a snapshot. We drove by in eight to ten seconds. But we were talking about it.
Starting point is 00:21:55 Like we should really encourage people if you see someone alone by themselves looking sad. Even if you're wrong, if you go up and they're like, no, I'm good. I just wanted to sit here and read my book. Still make that effort. And I haven't been else. stop thinking about maybe not just that kid, but how at times that would happen to me at times too, and it sucked. And you wish somebody would come over and like tap your shoulder, be, hey, is everything all right? So that's good. And Eddie did not stop and say good. We didn't even
Starting point is 00:22:20 slow the car down. And they don't have the number to this line. I wish I can give it to lunchbox. Maybe I'll look it up. He could call the kindness. Yeah, just in a while. Put him in a better place. Yeah. I can call it. Thanks, Eddie. That's what it's all about. That was tell me something good. There's two golden rules that any man should live by. Rule one, never mess with a country girl. You play stupid games, you get stupid prizes.
Starting point is 00:22:49 And rule two, never mess with her friends either. We always say that trust your girlfriends. I'm Anna Sinfield, and in this new season of the girlfriends... Oh my God, this is the same man. A group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist. I felt like I got hit by a truck. I thought, how could this happen to me? The cops didn't seem to care.
Starting point is 00:23:13 So they take matters into their own hands. I said, oh, hell no. I vowed. I will be his last target. He's going to get what he deserves. Listen to the girlfriends. Trust me, babe. On the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts,

Starting point is 00:23:56 and Dad, I think I want to really give this a shot. I don't know what that means, but I just know the groundlings. I'm working my way up through, and I know it's a place that come, look for up-and-coming talent. He said, if it was based solely on talent, I wouldn't worry about you, which is really sweet. Yeah. He goes, but there's so much luck involved.
Starting point is 00:24:13 And he's like, just give it a shot. He goes, but if you ever reach a, point where you're banging your head against the wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit. If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration. It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat. Just hang in there. Yeah, it would not be.
Starting point is 00:24:34 Right, it wouldn't be that. There's a lot of luck. Listen to Thanks Dad on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast. A win is a win. Go on the Bobby Bones show now. Dylan Scott. Dylan, good to see you, buddy. Good to see you too. Just come out of the deer woods?
Starting point is 00:25:54 Well, I'm going. Are you? I'm going. Listen, he's in his camera. What's the B logo? What is that? That's banded. Got it.
Starting point is 00:26:00 You know, I was going to go this morning before the show and just come in here full camo. Yeah. Has anybody ever came in full camo before? Probably Luke. Yeah. Maybe. Luke showed up full camo with a truck full of corn. Truck full of corn.
Starting point is 00:26:13 Yeah. I feel like Gary LaVox. That's illegal in Tennessee. I feel like Gary LaVox is done. No, not corn, not that kind of corn. Oh. Yeah, no, no. That definitely wasn't what he was doing.
Starting point is 00:26:21 He had a truck full of, like, corn on the cob. Oh, okay. Then he's like, you guys want to shuck it and have some? That's funny, though, if he'd have showed up with a truck full of corn, you know what I mean? Yeah. How's everything been with you? Man, couldn't be better. I saw that you guys, because I just met Jason Crabb at the Grand Ole Opry.
Starting point is 00:26:37 Yeah. We were playing the same night, and I went up and I was like, hey, man, you're so good. And he's such a positive guy. And I saw you won a Dove Award with him? We won a Dove Award a couple weeks ago on a song. It was a song of his called Good Morning Mercy, and I did a cover of it on my bus, and he saw it. And it's like, dude, you got to hop on this. Oh, that's how that happened?
Starting point is 00:26:53 Yeah. Now, backstory, I grew up in the whole, you know, Christian music world. So I've listened to Jason since I was a kid. And so met him out of hair salon randomly. And I was like, dude. You go to, I thought you would go to a barber. Well, it's a barber slash hair salon. His wife works in the salon part.
Starting point is 00:27:09 Got it. I was at the barber, yeah. Because I would think people would think I would go to a salon. Correct. But Dylan would go to a barber where they serve. Just the kind of like the type of guys. They don't serve whiskey at this barbershop. They don't.
Starting point is 00:27:19 That'd be nice. Well, congratulations on the Dove Award, but also Can't Have Mine is crushing it. Man. Thank you. What's the secret sauce of why one song does well and one song does okay? I don't know, man. I've just been sticking to what's working, you know? My last, well, my last number one was actually a breakup song.
Starting point is 00:27:41 But before that, I was a love song. Before that was a love song. Here's another love song about my wife. So I don't know, dude. I'm going to blame her for all the success. Would you mind, and you don't have to do the whole thing because we're going to play the whole song in a second, but would you give me like a verse and a chorus?
Starting point is 00:27:55 He's got his guitar in here of Can't Have Mine Find You a Girl? Yeah, let's do it. All right, here is. Dylan Scott. Nice job, dude. Did you sing in church ever? Oh, yeah, we sang in church growing up. Was it?
Starting point is 00:28:07 Because my grandma was like, you made me sing in church. Mm-hmm. Because I don't know if I would have or not. I was young. She was like, we just sing. That's what we do. We sing in church. Right.
Starting point is 00:28:15 And then once I, because she was, I went to a Pentecostal church, and I went to a Baptist church for most of my life once I, you know, got 12, 13 years old. And I didn't sing that much in church because I really didn't have a good voice. So you're singing in church. Was it mostly, this is what we do, Dylan. And did you have a good voice then? And when did that develop? I would say I had a decent voice then. I mean, look, my dad was in the business back in the day.
Starting point is 00:28:37 So he would tell me, he would critique me really hard and tell me, hey, if I'm doing something right or wrong. So I was a shy kid. growing up, so it used to honestly scare me to death to get on stage at church, you know, which is crazy to think back now because now here we are waiting for thousands of people or not, you know, and it's like no big deal. But yeah, I don't know, man. I mean, look, I wouldn't say I have a great voice now, you know. There's people that sing around me any day of the week.
Starting point is 00:29:03 Do you have a deep voice when you were a kid? For a kid, it was deep for a kid. When you came out of the womb crying, br-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-feed me. Yeah. Yeah. Do you, when you and Jason Krabb did this song together, did you guys ever perform it live? We performed it at the Dove Awards. That's the only time?
Starting point is 00:29:22 Yeah, that's the only time we ever performed it live. Yeah. It's crazy. And that's a different kind of audience. That's a different audience for you. Yeah, but it was super different for me. But I mean, like, hey, you had, you had Brandon Lake in the crowd. You had, you know, all these big, big, you know, superstar Christian artists.
Starting point is 00:29:41 You know, it was kind of intimidating a little bit. Lauren Daigle. Yeah, Lauren's awesome. And like the Christian artist that I listened to as a kid, I mean, jars of clay, newsboys. Yeah. I'm friends now with Chris Tomlin. Yeah. Chris was there.
Starting point is 00:29:56 Saw Chris. Who sells out arenas. Yeah. All around the world. It's awesome. It's crazy. Well, congratulations on that. And congratulations on your success in country music.
Starting point is 00:30:04 You have a new song that I was kind of wanted to hear it a little bit of. Yeah. That good times go by too fast song. Yeah. So what's, talk to me about this song. Like, just just, just, just. in general. I mean, look, I like to write things that I relate to, right? And I live. So I've got kids. I've got a six-year-old boy, four-year-old little girl, one-and-a-half-month-old little boy.
Starting point is 00:30:23 How's that going? Oh, man. You know what? He's the easiest of the three, but it's hard when you get in a rhythm of how you get to just sleep through the night. Then all of a sudden, here we are waking up two, three, four times a night to feed a baby. But it's great. I'm not being negative about it. Do you kind of get a call-us by the third one, though? Like you just know what it is. Oh, 100%. It just is what it is. Yeah. No. But the same. But the same thing. But the sleep, no sleep still sucks really bad. I would think, though, I mean, look, you got all these number ones. You can't get some help to do that?
Starting point is 00:30:51 We keep it real, man. I hear you. You know what? I tried to get my wife. I said, babe, we could just get like a little night nurse, you know? She says, no, I won't do it. Not doing it. Then I would say, wife, then you wake up at night.
Starting point is 00:31:00 Yeah. See, it's really tough for me because it's like, when I'm on the road, we're staying up till 1, 2 o'clock in the morning because that's just the way it is. And then when I get home, I have to turn it back on. I'm in bed by 8.30. just so I can get a decent night. Right. It's rough.
Starting point is 00:31:16 Well, congratulations. Thank you. That's super cool. If you don't mind, I know you have a guitar, would you play a little bit of good time? Yeah, good time. I love the song and it, yes, thank you.
Starting point is 00:31:25 Thank you for clapping for me, guys. That's in the question, yes. No problem, man. I love the song, which reminds me of you, too, because it's like, I see you on TikTok and, you know, you're a big family guy.
Starting point is 00:31:34 Yeah, man. And you've folk, that's a big part of your life. And I'll say your brand, but it's part of your life. And so that song really, like, reminds me of you, I mean, it's you singing it, but like what you showed the world, too.
Starting point is 00:31:44 Yeah, well, that's what I wrote it for, you know, my kids and my wife and just everything that's going on. It's like, man, the good times really do go by too fast, you know, we're living it right now. What's up with the name Barron? Barron? You know what? There's a ballpark in a baseball field in my hometown called Barron Ballpark. And we used to sneak in there and turn the lights on at night and play football with all my buddies. And I don't know, man, we were thinking about a name for Barron.
Starting point is 00:32:10 and I was like, man, Barron's such a cool name, you know, in the ballparks in our hometown. And it just sounds like that name when he's walking down the hall and all the girls is like, oh my God, there's Barron. You know, like, it's a cool name, right? Did they say that about Dylan? Oh, my gosh, there's Dylan. I didn't get that, man. Yeah, right.
Starting point is 00:32:26 You're like all jacked and good looking and could sing. You ain't full of us. He's like the hot girl that's like, I was a tomboy. No, okay. Stop. Okay, so, and you don't have to say too much here, but I was looking at some of your tour dates for next year. Are you about to announce something? Because I don't see a lot of dates up yet.
Starting point is 00:32:40 Yeah, we're about to announce a tour. I'll be direct support for an artist. I can't say who yet, but he's a good friend of mine. He's killing it right now. And it's just going to be a lot of fun. It's going to be a good time. Let's rhyme with. Nah, that's all right.
Starting point is 00:32:53 Don't get in trouble. Don't get in trouble. So, okay, we'll be watching your socials for that. And, man, keep killing. Congratulations on another massive song. I appreciate it. We'll play that now. But it's Dylan Scott.
Starting point is 00:33:02 You guys go follow Dylan on, on... Do you have the same name on TikTok and on Instagram, right? Delon Scott Country. I think so. Is it not exactly the same? Maybe like a word or two different. I don't know. I don't know. I think you now have the same name. Because I thought it was different too. I think he's now Dylan Scott country on both.
Starting point is 00:33:18 Congratulations. That's a big deal, man. It is a big deal, yes. That's the biggest deal of all, it looks like. Wow, I still can't get Bobby Bowens for some dude. I've tried to buy it like five times. He won't sell it to you. No, he said if Dylan Scott would call him at home though and sing him. Yeah, thank you. I got him.
Starting point is 00:33:31 All right, here is Dylan Scott. This song is headed to number one. Can't have mine find you a girl. Dylan, good to see you, buddy. You too, man. All right, there is. Dylan Scott, everybody. You guys check out, I'll be a bartender. It came out in October. This old lady had a bunch of paintings in her kitchen, a bunch of old paintings.
Starting point is 00:33:45 She didn't know they were worth anything because they were crappy old paintings except one's worth $26 million. Was that a Picasso? What does she have in there? $26 million. Oh, that's got to be a ring brain. Maybe a room rent.
Starting point is 00:33:58 The painting is called the Mocking of Christ. It was created by Simabwe. Oh, yeah. He's a small guy. I don't even know how to say his name. The woman thought the rare artwork was a Greek religious icon. Now four years after its discovery, it's headed to the Louvre in Paris, and it sold for 26.8 million.
Starting point is 00:34:18 You were at the Louvre right? Dang. Did you see any of my market? I don't even know who this is. I'm going to tell you, I don't know the difference these things. I looked at them. What do you mean? What do you mean? You don't know the difference between, like, paintings?
Starting point is 00:34:29 I mean, I couldn't tell the difference in, like, one of these and if somebody just slapped some stuff down and said, this looks old. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'd have been her. I'd had it and not known. That's amazing. wild. There was another one, so get this. Dog Walker
Starting point is 00:34:41 had this painting that was worth $10 million. And he was like, oh my, because he just kind of stumbled into it. And so it went to auction. It sold for $40,000. No. No. So he had bought it for... No. He had a $10 million painting and no one wanted it?
Starting point is 00:34:59 Yes. Oh, no. So he was devastated when he found out. His name is Mark Herman. He said he had a vision that this painting by Chuck Close was going to be worth a whole lot and everybody was like, this is going to be worth so much. I don't know, Chuck. Then they went and sold it and it was worth $40,000. That's still a lot of money.
Starting point is 00:35:16 No, it's not. $40,000 is a lot of money. Not when you just read to me that brum, blah, but you know what, though? I like these stories because that may sound negative. But I do like these stories because you don't have a bunch of like, oh, wow, they made billions of dollars and they didn't have the head. Like, now this is a real one. One that makes it a little more normal. But $40,000 is still a lot of money.
Starting point is 00:35:34 Sure. He just thought he was going to make 10 million. Yeah, but think when you go in thinking you're going to make 10 million, you get 40,000, I'd be like, oh. You'd be like what? What would you be like? Probably out. Yeah, I hear you. All right, here is Shelby from Ohio.
Starting point is 00:35:47 We were at your Louisville show. Me and my husband had the best time ever. We're both your young listeners. I'm 27 and he is 29. I'm trying to say that it was a great show and we appreciate all the laughs and everything you do. And we hope that you do another tour soon so you can come see you. Thank you very much. who came to Louisville is a great show. My final tour show. I've got one charity show in Florida that's already sold out, but it's just a straight. But it's going to be good. But that was it. Final tour show. I don't know that I'm ever torn again my whole life. Oh, no. That's sad. Cowboy rides away. Yeah. If you're going that way, then we know you'll be back. That's right. All right. Here is a caller about our dolly interview.
Starting point is 00:36:24 Great dolly interview. It was wonderful. And it was cute to see Amy. Almost giddy talking to dolly. It was so cute. You can see she was just smiling the whole time. It was precious. who did a great job. Thank you. Go over to Bobbyvones.com if you want to watch that or listen to the podcast. Dolly's awesome. A-plus. Really enjoyed that time. I was just curious about one thing. Eddie's got four children. Lunchbox has three, all boys, mind you.
Starting point is 00:36:50 How do they get so much time to get away from their homes, children, and wives to go do all the extracurricular activities? Like Eddie's out in Texas, lunchbox is bowling. Just curious. Hold on. I'm in Texas lunchtime. What? Bowling.
Starting point is 00:37:10 Bowling. No, I take my kids to everything. That's why everybody yells at me for this charity stuff. Like, it was a charity event I went to the bowling, and I took my kids. So they sat there and watched me bowl. Yeah. Were they proud of you? They were just yelling and screaming.
Starting point is 00:37:26 And so. But no, but they got dinner. They had dinner there, so I got them dinner. Did you pay for it? No, no. It was a charity event. Got it. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:37:34 So I bowed. I was a celebrity on my lane And then my kid sat in the audience And they ate dinner And kept me on, Dadda, how many points do you have? And sat there why, do they ate? They bounced out.
Starting point is 00:37:47 How'd you do? I shot like a 140 and a 130. That's pretty good. Do you say shot in bowling? I don't know. No, I rolled. Rolled. That's what you say?
Starting point is 00:37:55 A bold. Yeah, bold, rolled. Whatever you want to say it. Eddie, your answer? I mean, I don't know. It's just part of my work. That's what I do. You get paid to do it.
Starting point is 00:38:01 Yeah. It's just work. It's like anyone else. Like, hey, honey, I'm going the office, be back at five. That's what I do. Except you just go somewhere else. Right, I go to Texas. Here is one more. This is Rose Ina
Starting point is 00:38:10 from Virginia. I have that blank slate game and I absolutely love it. And I don't know if you know, but there's going to be a show on Game Show Network starting in January and it's Blank Slate. So I think that's very cool.
Starting point is 00:38:27 I can't wait for it to come on. All right, have a great day. Blank Slate's an awesome board game and I did hear they were turning it to a show. That's amazing. That is amazing. I just heard, too, my kids play that at school. It's like part of their class. They take like an hour to play Blanks Slate.
Starting point is 00:38:43 Great game. Great game for holidays, too. You guys get it. It's at Target. It's at Walmart. And Mario Lopez is hosting it, it looks like. Wow. You're a blank slate guy. You're a Blank Slate guy. That was Mario Lopez. All right, Slater.
Starting point is 00:38:56 Everything, man. All right, thank you guys for all your calls. Here's a voicemail from Justin in Wichita, Kansas. I have a question about Amy's tail. is it kind of like shallow house like when she gets excited it starts wiggling or is it just like a little bone like I'm just wondering
Starting point is 00:39:11 if it just wiggle like a dog's or what That's a great question because you do have a tail bone that popped all the way out It's a tail bone Does it wag? It does not wag It's a bone
Starting point is 00:39:21 Is it tail cartilage? It doesn't move If you get really excited No it doesn't Like if you get a treat No If you laugh It just sticks out
Starting point is 00:39:32 Okay Justin thanks for that question Here's Amy's pile of stories. All right, so it turns out keeping secrets is good for you. The only thing is it has to be positive news. Why would you want to keep positive news secrets? Well, I only keep the bad stuff I know about you guys secrets. Like having a baby.
Starting point is 00:39:52 Apparently it helps you. But not forever. True. Only when it still could become negative because you don't have the baby. Right. Right. When we are holding in positive secrets, it helps us feel more energized and alive. This whole study was done.
Starting point is 00:40:05 Like, an example would be, Like you're saving up money. Nobody needs to know, but you kind of got this. It's like a secret of yours or you've reduced debt or you bought a gift for yourself and you're not telling anybody. But that's all stuff that's, even if it's not a secret, it's fun. Okay. The secret actually does nothing except. But apparently keeping it a secret, it helps you feel more alive.
Starting point is 00:40:24 I don't know. Does anybody here have a positive secret? None. No positive secrets? None? My secrets are all dirty. Dirty dog. It's all about all you guys.
Starting point is 00:40:33 Hey, tell us one. Yeah. Positive secret? Yeah, I have one. Go ahead. Not telling you guys. The secret. Wait, what?
Starting point is 00:40:39 It's a great point. Yeah, why would we reveal it? You have one too? Because it's something fun to share. We can't share a secret. Maybe you felt energized, but then. These lips are sealed. Okay.
Starting point is 00:40:48 I'm thinking mine right now and it's about you. But I can't tell you because it's secret. Wait. He only thinks a dirty ones, Amy. Is it a gift? Is it a gift you bought me? Don't worry about it. All right, next.
Starting point is 00:40:56 Okay. Psychologists have determined that there is one flirting technique that works the most. Like you can, you should say, if you're good looking. If you're married. That'll help. Muscles. You should still. flirt. Rich. Wait, hold on, hold on. What did Amy just say? With your wives. Do you all still flirt with your wives? Good thing you finish that. Yeah, you just said flirt. You said if you were married, you can still flirt. You got to fight through the talking here, Amy. You got to push that. Okay. Is flirting still a part of your, you know, engagement? No, mine is trying. I try. Yes. I think the way that I would flirt is by trying to be funny. But my wife does not think I'm as funny as she used to because she has the same crap. I try. I try. I try. I try. Yes. I think the way that I would flirt is by trying to be funny as she used to because she does the same crap. I'm. I'm. I'm. I was. I. I was. I
Starting point is 00:41:37 all time. Like, she can predict my jokes. It's low-hanging fruit. And so she knows what I'm going to say. So if I can get her to laugh, like, that's a win for me. Because she's funnier than I am. She's the funniest person never met. And so I would say my flirting style is being funny. But with her, I just have to try to try to be funny just to be back and even. Okay, well, here's some top, flirty things. And I'll get to the number one. In a three, eye contact is a huge way to flirt. Or how to stalk. Yeah. Yeah, because that can be creepy. Depends what you are and how long you hold it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:42:07 And generosity is a big way to sort of. I said that. Rich. It doesn't have to be. So give her $100 bill. You mean generous. That's called prostitution. Oh.
Starting point is 00:42:17 Time is free. Go ahead. And then the number one, Florida thing you can do. But slap. Funny. Humor. That takes the top spot.
Starting point is 00:42:25 Like if you can be witty, that pot. According to psychologists. Amy, is this your list? No. No, but you'll, do you still try to make your wives laugh? Yeah, all the time. Unsuccessfully.
Starting point is 00:42:37 Never works. Never works. Well, we're at dinner. Before we go out to dinner, we're with friends, which we do every few weeks or so. And if I'm on, I'm killing. Like, I'm crushing the room. I got everybody's table laughing. It's another couple or four people.
Starting point is 00:42:51 I will text her and be like, look what you're missing. By not thinking I'm funny. I'm killing the room right now. Just watch this. See, you may not think I'm funny, but I'm demolishing this table with jokes and stories. And she doesn't care. And holiday season is officially here. So, of course, some important research was done around that.
Starting point is 00:43:11 And a poll found that the most popular holiday flavors of cookies, gingerbread, caramel, peppermint. And over the next few months, the average person is going to eat about 26 cookies. Wow, that's a lot of cookies. Gingerbread? First of all, you guys need to chill out. I like cookies much the next guy, but 26 is a lot. Two.
Starting point is 00:43:28 How's chocolate chip still not there? Yeah, that's number one. It's holiday flavors. Okay, but nothing says holiday like. enjoying something. Yeah, sure. My wife made chocolate chip cookies last night and milk for me. Oh, man.
Starting point is 00:43:39 She knows that's my thing. I love chocolate to cookies and milk. But it's your thing after a show. I know, and I didn't expect it. I didn't ask for it. She's like, hey, I made some cookies. That's cool. Was she flirting with you?
Starting point is 00:43:48 Probably. Yeah. Did you make her laugh after that? No. I had to work. I made me. That's my file. That was Amy's pile of story.
Starting point is 00:44:00 It's time for the good news. Which Bobby? Yeah, home is something good. I want to say hello to Brianna Mills. So she's at 7-Eleven in Virginia, and she sees somebody ahead of her. And 7-Eleven, what I like about 7-Eleven, one, the slurpees. But then two, you can get a little more than gas station stuff, because I used to get a lot of my groceries from the 7-Eleven near my house in Austin.
Starting point is 00:44:23 I would never go to the grocery store. I would just stop, get groceries at the gas station. And so she was there, and someone was buying some groceries up ahead of her at the 7-Eleven. And their card wouldn't work, and she was like, I got it. I get it, no problem. So the person let them do that. They're like, oh, wow, thank you very much. So she buys this, super kind.
Starting point is 00:44:39 The person's very thankful walks out, and she's getting her stuff. He goes, I'll take a strike at rich scratch off. Boom, $150,000 winner. Let's go. Wow. $150,000 winner. Hey, man. Good things having to good people.
Starting point is 00:44:55 Right after that. Lunchbox, maybe you have to go to a gas station, pay for somebody stuff ahead of you, and that gives you that. On it. Okay. On it. Yeah, dude. That could be it.
Starting point is 00:45:05 Maybe that's the sprinkle dust you need. That's what you've been missing. Wait, wait, and name the lottery ticket? Well, I don't know they're going to have strike it rich, but it's close to strike it rich. I'm trying to think if it's a $10 ticket, $20 ticket. I don't know that it. Does that matter? I would get them.
Starting point is 00:45:17 I'm going to try to do the exact same price level. You're missing the point. I'll get in with you on this because I think that could be some sprinkle dust. If I give you $20 will you get two $20 tickets, you and I'll split it. Yeah. And then he'll pay for, I'll have to give you money to pay for the person. Oh, crap. Yeah, he should.
Starting point is 00:45:33 I got to give him extra money to pay. No, no, no, let him do it. That's a good point. Oh, man. Strike it rich and she won how much? $150,000. That's the max. It's only a $5 ticket.
Starting point is 00:45:44 We don't want to do strike it rich. We want to do strike it richer. Yeah, it's in Virginia. And that's in Virginia. You're going to go all the way to Virginia? No, no, I'm just saying. Winning tickets unclaimed one. She got the last one.
Starting point is 00:45:54 Yeah, so if I give you money. Unless it's claimed already. If I give you cash, can we do this? Will you do it? Yeah, yeah, I'll do it. Here's what I want to do. Because I definitely want to be on the luck, too. So I'll give you $40.
Starting point is 00:46:05 Whoa, yeah. So we're doing $80. Yeah, but you have to pay for it. Okay, here's what I'm going to give you, $20. And I'm going to pitch in on whatever you're buying. Wow. But you can't have them buy a pack of gum and you steal my money. Right.
Starting point is 00:46:16 I would never do that. Yes, you would do that. I feel like you would wait to see what someone's buying. That's right. And that's why I'm trusting you're not going to lie on this one because you don't want to mess with the certain gods that you think are real that I don't. Lottery gods. Okay, here's $50. You don't mess with it.
Starting point is 00:46:28 All right. I'm going to get it. Wait, so this is, but no, no, if I'm giving 50, that's four tickets. Yeah, yeah. Let's get rich. And 10 bucks to do that. Don't lick your lips. He goes, mm.
Starting point is 00:46:42 All right. Remember, if you pay for all of their stuff and not think about you keeping money, it's going to be better for the winnings. Yeah. Who are you talking to? Yeah, I know what I'm doing. Bring the tickets in. We'll scratch them on the air.
Starting point is 00:46:53 Yeah, we'll scratch them on the air. Okay. I'll bring the tickets in. I don't know why I keep doing things when I give them money. It's like, for some, reason I don't think about it until the money's out of my hand. Because I'm a pretty good businessman. I come with these great ideas and you're like, man, that's actually pretty solid.
Starting point is 00:47:05 This wasn't your... Brianna, shout out to you. I'm glad that happened to you. That's what it's all about. That was tell me something good. There's two golden rules that any man should live by. Rule one, never mess with a country girl. You play stupid games, you get stupid prizes.
Starting point is 00:47:26 And rule two, never mess with her friends either. We always say that trust your girlfriend. I'm Anna Sinfield, and in this new season of The Girlfriends, Oh my God, this is the same man. A group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist. I felt like I got hit by a truck. I thought, how could this happen to me?
Starting point is 00:47:48 The cops didn't seem to care, so they take matters into their own hands. I said, oh, hell no. I vowed. I will be his last target. He's going to get what he deserves. Listen to the Girlfriends. Trust me, babe. on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Hello, everyone. I'm Ago Wodom.
Starting point is 00:48:16 My next guest, you know from Step Brothers Anchorman, Saturday Night Live and the Big Money Players Network. It's Will Ferrell. My dad gave me the best advice ever. I went and had lunch with them one day, and I was like, and Dad, I think I want to really give this a shot. I don't know what that means, but I just know the groundlings. I'm working my way up through. It's a place they come look for up and coming talent. He said, if it was based solely on talent, I wouldn't worry about you, which is really sweet.
Starting point is 00:48:47 Yeah. He goes, but there's so much luck involved. And he's like, just give it a shot. He goes, but if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit. If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration. It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat just hang in. Yeah, it would not be... Right, it wouldn't be that.
Starting point is 00:49:12 There's a lot of luck. Listen to Thanks, Dad, on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care what you're saying. Yep, that's me, Cliver Taylor the 4th. You might have seen the skits, the reactions, my journey from basketball to college football, or my career in sports media.
Starting point is 00:49:34 Well, somewhere along the way, this platform became bigger than I ever imagined. And now I'm bringing all of that excitement to my brand new podcast, The Clifford Show. This is a place for raw, unfiltered conversations with some of your favorite athletes, creators, and voices that not only deserve to be heard, but celebrated. One week, I'll take you behind the scenes
Starting point is 00:49:52 of the biggest moments in sports and entertainment. And the next, we'll talk about life, mental health, purpose, and even music. The Clifford Show isn't just a podcast. It's a space for honest conversations, stories that don't always get told, and for people who are chasing something bigger. So if you've ever supported me or you're just chasing down a dream, this is right where you need to be.
Starting point is 00:50:13 Listen to the Clifford show on the IHeart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. And for more behind the scenes, follow at Clifford and at TikTok Podcast Network on TikTok. Here's a voicemail from Amanda. I have a morning corny for Amy. Chinese takeout, $12. Tip, $3. Getting home to find out they forgot part of my order, priceless. I hope you like it.
Starting point is 00:50:37 I was a little nervous about where that was going. Me too. But riceless is good. Riceless is okay. Here is Ashley from Virginia Beach. Morning Studio. I was wondering if Amy could give us her list of movies that Caitlin needed to see because there's a whole bunch of old movies that I've never seen that I need to see and I just can't keep up with them.
Starting point is 00:50:56 So that would give me a good place to start. Did you guys do that in your personal lives or on your podcast? I know I talked about it here. Oh, it was your personal lives sitting around now I can't remember. Well, I can tell you some of them. Like a babysitter club? Babysitter's club? Yes, don't tell mom the babysitter's dead.
Starting point is 00:51:12 That's it then. Okay, okay. It's different. And then the ones where they're all in trouble? Candles. Oh, 16 candles? Yes, yes, yes. Pretty Woman.
Starting point is 00:51:21 Yep, Pretty Woman was on there. Adventures and Babysitting. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Maybe it was that. Wait, what was that one you said? Don't tell mom the babysitter's dead. It's good. It's that one because Christina Applegates in that one.
Starting point is 00:51:30 I remember her saying that. Yeah, so just do those three for now. Yeah, those are good. Don't tell mom. Pretty woman. 16 candles. There you go. And 16 candles hits, to me, my sister got married on my birthday. That's what happens in the movie. Oh, that's not the one where they're locked in detention? No, that's breakfast club. Oh. Another good one. Same people? But Molly Ringwald.
Starting point is 00:51:51 Most, mostly. Some. Yeah, I know idea. All right. Thank you. Let's go over to Amy and get in the morning, corny. The morning corny. What do you call a Turkey's Evil twin? What do you call Turkey's Evil twin? A gobble ginger. That's good. That was the morning corny. Nailed it. That's really good. Almost done with Thanksgiving jokes.
Starting point is 00:52:16 You know what that means, Christmas jokes. Yeah. What's up, buddy? Hey, man, how's it going? Well, we want to know if you're going to Turkey or not, because I think I can probably round up the money. I'll just go to sponsors. And we have heard that Turkey has the best hair transplants and surgeons,
Starting point is 00:52:33 and they get to do a lot of stuff there they don't do in America. Sounds safe to me. Yeah. No, I've heard, like, these are elite surgeons. Yeah, top of the line. Rice is good. You've been here from so many people that actually go to Turkey. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:52:46 Yeah. I mean, and these are, the origin of it is the soccer, the football players overseas. These soccer players, they have a lot of money. They all go to Turkey to do it. And their hair looks so luscious. I run my hands through it. Yeah. And then when we started talking about it, that's when the messages started flooding in from people in the United States.
Starting point is 00:53:05 States that are like, my, my brother's there right now, my husband's there right now, my co-worker's there right now. Yes. It's crazy. I got a lot of those messages too. Just like, oh, yeah, we just did it. I know someone that's there right. All that stuff.
Starting point is 00:53:18 Yep. But what's your wife say? She's kind of in the middle because she, I mean, she obviously likes the idea of me having hair. Okay. Mostly because of my confidence. I just think that every time when we were doing research, because she's been doing research and then I joined her one time to do research and all we did was find
Starting point is 00:53:34 like pictures of people. with bandages on their heads and it just looks painful, man. Well, yeah, it is going to be painful. But anything that's surgical is going to be painful for a minute. Pain is beauty or beauty is pain. And then you know what happens after the pain? Beauty, like he said. Well, here's the thing.
Starting point is 00:53:49 And people also said that it's not illegal in the U.S. It's just way, way, way, way more expensive in the U.S. So you guys are just cutting costs. I don't know that that's the truth. Well, that's what they're saying on the street. Sure they have. You haven't been on the street that I live on. So it's that much more expensive to where you pay?
Starting point is 00:54:05 for like a flight. No, I can tell you from what I have learned, they're allowed to use more things. I think they can do more graphs. Yes. If I can do it in Topeka, I'd rather just go to Topeka. You can't do it to Pika. You gotta go to Turkey. Right, like maybe there's a limit on how many little graphs you can do.
Starting point is 00:54:23 Did you get the pictures from that caller? Yeah, I did. So she has it before and after from a listener. Ooh. Yeah, her husband. And so I'm looking at them now. Texting to me, Abby. There's, look, there's right there.
Starting point is 00:54:35 Right there. There's definitely. And that's after one procedure. Oh, Eddie. Doesn't that look amazing? Let's see here. Looks totally different, dude. Wow.
Starting point is 00:54:44 But that. Let me see. He still looks balding though, bones. Like, you see, like he still looks like it's not thick there. It's a lot thicker than it was. That's around one. That's real. See, round one.
Starting point is 00:54:55 What are we going to do? Drag this out for three years? But even if you did do round one, look how. That's like 75% right there. I don't know, bones. Okay, so no pressure. I feel, I feel pressured. What are you talking about, Hetty,
Starting point is 00:55:05 That's a lot of hair. No. That is an increase in hair. If you had that kind of hair, man, you look so hot. Stop. Stop. I think you need the holiday to think about it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:17 Do you feel like you're leaning a little more toward going, though, than you were initially? Well, I mean, the whole free part, for sure. Like, if you're paying for it or a sponsor's pain for it, like, that's what really keeps me thinking maybe I should do this. But if it were just me, bones, no, I don't want to go to the Middle East and people cut my head open so I can have a few hairs. That's not a few. guy. Yeah, that's full head. That's a lot of hair. But you bunch of house, you see like kind of how he
Starting point is 00:55:39 still see through it a little bit? Yes, a little bit, but I'm still saying, dude, it's not a wig. It looks like Nick Saban, you know? Like, apparently let's put this way. He doesn't have to put sunscreen on his head when he goes to the beach. Yeah, I have to do that way. I have to do that way. Just take, after the break, we'll get a final answer from me. Okay. Glad, Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving.
Starting point is 00:55:55 Talk to the family. Then I got to find a sponsor. Do you want the picture to take with you? Yes. Apparently the Turkish doctors are really good at, you know, not leaving any traces of the donor area. Where's the donor area? I don't know where they pull from, but... It's the butt. I told you.
Starting point is 00:56:14 They're going to say, we're from my butt. Here's a voicemail from a listener in Virginia. Hey, this message is for LaunchBog. I just want to thank you for introducing me to the Virginia lottery. I heard the story about that woman winning $900,000. A couple weeks back, I started playing. And, man, I just been hitting it big. You know, I put $25.
Starting point is 00:56:37 there and then within a day I made $300 man I just want to thank you so much thank you again for for letting you introduce me to that you're welcome man that's not that frustrating for you it's $300 that's good yeah
Starting point is 00:56:52 more than I've made do you remember the tell me something good that we made you tell yeah she won like $50,000 in the next week she won like $300,000 or $900,000 or $900,000 they're both the second chance lottery Jennifer Minton of Virginia won two big jackpots within two weeks. She scored a $912,000 jackpot just one week after winning $50,000.
Starting point is 00:57:14 Wow. She loved a voicemail. Hey, guys, this is Jennifer Minton. I received quite a bit of feedback this morning about you guys speaking on me and my lottery win. So I figured I'd call in and say, hey, it's me and I'm the lottery winner. Give me a call if you get a chance. It is area code 8.3. No, we're busy.
Starting point is 00:57:34 Do you want to call her and talk to her? talk to her. Why do I want to talk to someone that got rich when I have never gotten rich? Well, tough nudie because she's on now. Yeah. And you should see it as like, oh, wow, if she can win, it could be possible for me. Exactly. Hi, Jennifer. Hi. Congratulations. And how do you feel today? This has been a little bit, but how do you feel today? Thank you very much. I am actually overly excited this morning. I am in the process of driving a box truck to my storage unit to go and move all of my things out to move into my brand new home that I close on this morning. Let's go. Let's go. Let's go. What a life.
Starting point is 00:58:09 See, this is what you do when you get rich. You buy a bigger house. So, tell me the story. You're not paying rent for. Right. You go get a mortgage. She said not pay rent anymore. Exactly. Exactly. Tell me the story of your first win, the $50,000 win, because that by itself would have shaken my core. So where were you? What happened? How did it happen? How did 1,000 trails, Chesapeake Bay Campground? We do a lot of camping and sitting around the campfire one afternoon,
Starting point is 00:58:38 and I was sitting with my boyfriend, Brad, and out of nowhere, I was playing this game. I had a scratch ticket that I'd won $25 on, and I scanned it. And I decided I'd let it sit there, and I let it, I didn't know what to do with it, actually, and got on there and kind of navigated myself around a little bit and figured out that there were a bunch of different slot games. So I figured I'd try my $25. That turned into $276. And I got a bonus wheel. And next thing I know, I got seven spends and it's doing it saying.
Starting point is 00:59:15 And I got $50,000 sitting in my face. I would have thought that somebody was, I was on a scam site. I would have thought I messed up and I'm really not getting the money. There's no way I won $50,000. Wow. And so what did you do when you won? What is your first move? I turned my phone at Brad and I said so, and he thought he had done something wrong, like, okay, what's coming next?
Starting point is 00:59:37 And I said, I think I just won $50,000 on the Virginia lottery. And he's like, no way. He actually got on and started Google searching to make sure that it was like a legit thing. Okay, so that's life-changing. You have $50,000. Obviously, you got to pay taxes. So let's see, you have $30,000. Or she just claimed it to her accounts started betting with that $50,000.
Starting point is 00:59:57 So that was my next question. Did you put it in the account? Then what happens? It actually moves to your online account. And then, of course, I had to contact Virginia Lottery. And they do take taxes off of it right at the top. So on the $50,000, I ended up getting just over $36,000. You know, took a nice old stunk off of that.
Starting point is 01:00:17 Nice. I left $2,000 in the account after the rest of it had transferred over to my actual bank account. I left $2,000 and I played on it a couple of days. And again, out at the campground, seven days later, I'm sitting on the couch in the camper. And Brad picks up his phone and looks underneath it at me and says, what are you doing? I said, I'm playing this stupid game. I didn't say anything like what I was playing. I was just still playing this stupid game.
Starting point is 01:00:43 And next thing, five minutes later, I am bawling, crying. And he looked at me, he thought I'd gotten bad news about a family member or something, you know. and I said I just won $912,000 and he said no you didn't and I said will you marry me? And how long until you can actually get your money and buy something? I actually had to be in contact with Virginia Lottery in Richmond because it's such a large sum, you know, they take it off their end, they go ahead and they tax it, they put it back in the online account and then they wire it.
Starting point is 01:01:20 they do a wire transfer from the lottery account to your personal account. What did they take out tax-wise? Do you remember? Just ever 300 grand on the 9-12. So here you are with $600,000, $635 or so all in. Then she buys a house cash. So you have this money. Is that the first thing you did is go buy a house? Nope.
Starting point is 01:01:41 I actually took care of both of my kids first. I have two boys, Chance and Cole. They're 21 and 20. And I bought both of them a car. My oldest is in Louisiana, so I flew down to go see him. I paid off my debt. I bought a brand new camper in April. I was making $1,000 amounts payments on it.
Starting point is 01:02:01 I paid it off in full. And then I started looking for a house. Man, that's awesome. Lunchbox, any question for her? Are you out of money because you bought a camper, two cars and a house? That's my life. No. No, I'm not.
Starting point is 01:02:18 I was, you know, very smart about it. I've put over half of it away. Nice. Was able to set myself a budget on what I needed to do for my bills and for my kids and to move on with my life. And buying this house is the first, it'll be the first house I've ever owned. Not having a mortgage and not having a rent. I am very much so looking forward to being debt-free 100% going into the new year. Wow.
Starting point is 01:02:45 Do you, have you ever won anything before? Nothing of this magnitude, no. I mean, you know, I like here. We've got the Queen skill games and stuff like that. You know, $2,000, $3,000, but nothing ever of this magnitude. That's awesome. I'm so happy for you. What you said?
Starting point is 01:03:02 What you asked you? Did you quit her job? Did you quit your job? No, no, I'm not that person. You know, work is work. And just because I have this doesn't change who I am, somebody asked me if I was going to go and buy a whole new wardrobe. And I was like, no, as a matter of fact, I like, I like my sweats.
Starting point is 01:03:18 shirt and t-shirts. Congratulations. I'm super happy for you. Thank you for spending some time with us. I am so jealous of you right now. Good for your kids. And don't say yes to that proposal right away. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:03:30 I'll tell you, I've had people coming out of the woodwork family that I never knew I had and friends that have known me for 50 years and I'm only 45, you know, they have come. They need help and, you know, can I bless them? And, you know, it's insane. What a great way to ask for money. Can you bless me? bless me. What's your response?
Starting point is 01:03:49 Then it feels religious. Yeah, I got to say, I mean, I was the one that did to tell me something good that brought you on the show. We made you do it because we knew it drive you crazy. Hold on. I mean, would you like to bless me with a car too? How about I bless you with the blessing of God will bless you somewhere along your journey. That's a great blessing. Yes.
Starting point is 01:04:06 Yes. You need that line. Jennifer. Some would say God's already blessed. In many ways. Jennifer, thank you so much. I hope you have a great day today. Let me give a huge shout out to my sister, Brooke Nicole.
Starting point is 01:04:18 I love you, and I know life is tough, and I'm here big time. And for that shoutout, we'll only charge you $100,000. Oh, yeah. All right. Jennifer, have a great day. Thanks, guys. You too. Bye-bye.
Starting point is 01:04:34 There's two golden rules that any man should live by. Rule one, never mess with a country girl. You play stupid games, you get stupid prizes. A third of Americans think they're the only ones who'd survive the apocalypse. This is like those stories where they're like, 73% of Americans think they're in the better half of drivers. Yeah, but I don't know that I'd survive an apocalypse. You don't think so. Yeah, and I think I fall into being a good driver. What?
Starting point is 01:08:03 There's no way you don't fall into being a driver. I do. You just fell into what Bobby was saying. No, you don't. You're not, you're not. Whatever. We're not even talking about that. I've had to list all my friends and put a half of them in good driver and bad driver.
Starting point is 01:08:13 you for sure would not make the good Amy, stop. You'd make the good person list, but not the good driver list. Like you legit think you're a good driver. Yeah. You're not being honest. You're an amazing friend.
Starting point is 01:08:25 Thanks guys. So anyway, people don't, people only a third of people think they'd survive? You think you're a good driver, even with all the... You know that. You'll make everything a bigger deal. No, you're adding up things over 18 years. Yeah, and over 18 years.
Starting point is 01:08:39 How many things have I backed into that we've been there every day? Good point. Zero. Zero. I don't know. Did you back into your house one time? You tell me.
Starting point is 01:08:47 Did you back into your house one time? No. Basketball. Goal? You mean out of the garage? Yeah. It was this tiny garage. Fire hydrants?
Starting point is 01:08:57 Yeah. I was in a loner and I wasn't used to the angle. You drove us to work once with a sheet. I'll pick you up in the truck. It was a blizzard. And she picks me up and she didn't even defrost a windshield. You're welcome for the ride. There was like a tiny hole that she stared through the whole time.
Starting point is 01:09:12 We were going to be late. Yeah. Anyway. I'm not talking about her driving, but the fact that you think you're top 50%? Yeah. Okay.
Starting point is 01:09:19 Do you put kids that don't have licenses in this mix? Is it all Americans, regardless of age? No, driving. Driving, got it. Yeah, third of Americans think they'd be the one that survived. Who thinks they would survive an apocalypse? Me. Do you think you have the skills to do it?
Starting point is 01:09:33 Absolutely. Why? Just an outdoorsman. I know how to hunt, know how to fish. I know how to survive, dude. I don't know that I really want to do all that, so. You don't want to hunt and fish if it's your survival? I'm just like...
Starting point is 01:09:46 Lunchbox. I got it. Because I'm a people person, man. People want me on their tribe. That's it. They want to go on their tribe. Yeah, I want to have to do the work. Like, I don't want to have to kill other people.
Starting point is 01:09:57 Oh, I can do that in a heartbeat. No. I'm just I'm just sure that would happen. You'd have to. Of course. Yeah. It'd be back. It'd be like...
Starting point is 01:10:04 Well, yeah, if it's him or me, it's going to survive, they out. What if aliens came? Let's say Apocalypse, sort of. Here we go. I'm going to put my mind in that, Yeah, let me, let me, this far out stupid scenario. Go ahead. And they said, okay, we're now going to enslave the entire world, all of you, earthlings.
Starting point is 01:10:22 And you can either be enslaved for the next 50 years under our control, or we can zap you in your dead immediately. Well, zap me. No, I'd rather be enslaved, man. I'm a still alive. Yeah, because what if it doesn't last 50 years? Yeah, what if I escaped? There's always a chance. You get zapped
Starting point is 01:10:43 Zapped Zap me Take me out Like Enslave me Let's go man Time me up Where
Starting point is 01:10:50 Now he wants aliens At times No I'm just saying Time me up And have your way Whatever you want Any option is better Than the Zapp dead option
Starting point is 01:10:59 There is no Everything is better than dead What if it's all torture Okay guess what Torture's better than dead Yes No Well some people have to survive
Starting point is 01:11:07 That Depends on what Mr. Alien Do what you We will. Okay, moving on. From the Daily Mail, a family left outraged after turning up to a Mississippi wake to find that the wrong person is in the casket.
Starting point is 01:11:21 But that person was wearing the same clothes and jewelry they had brought for their person. So they kind of got it right. I understand that this is sensitive, but I don't think I'm going to be outraged. Are you serious? Yeah, but I don't think someone did this on purpose. And then a rude and uncaring staff demanded more money to correct the mistake. Oh, well, then I'd be. I still don't know they did it on purpose.
Starting point is 01:11:43 That doesn't mean they did it on purpose. But they can't charge you. They can mean they're bad people. Yeah. But a family in Georgia was shocked, they go over to the wake and they open the casket. And it's the clothes they sent. It's the jewelry that this person owned, but it wasn't the same body. I mean, if anything, does it offer a little levity to the situation?
Starting point is 01:11:58 Like, you know, like, I thought I was going to open it up. I mean, what if it's a little practical joke from the other side, you know? And they're like, call, Lee, I have no sense of humor. I mean, you're just thinking if it's a close character. You would never know. Like, if you don't... But would it matter if you didn't know? Because, I mean, what's a body, but just...
Starting point is 01:12:15 Yeah, the soul leaves. Organic material. You're not... They're no longer in the... Correct. That body. Okay, just think, though. I'm saying, yours is closed casket,
Starting point is 01:12:24 so you bury your grandmother, right? Then the next funeral shows up and it's open casket. Then they have no idea where grandma is. I mean, that's pretty bad. So it also sucks for them, too, unless they're using that same body for like three of them
Starting point is 01:12:35 and selling parts to other. That part would be bad. That could be bad. This is from Complex. rapper and music exec, Rick Ross is hiring. He posted a video saying he's looking for a personal flight attendant on his Maybach Air G550 annually. Got to have a positive vibe, be professional.
Starting point is 01:12:55 We saw his plane flying to the airport. Really? Uh-huh. It's huge. Is this RR on it? No, no. It says Rick Ross. Wow.
Starting point is 01:13:02 Big letter. Was anybody here with me when that happened? No? I don't remember that. That's it. It's a big black plane with gold Rick Ross on it. It's a massive plane. That's cool.
Starting point is 01:13:11 Yeah. Wow. $150,000. You probably got to go at a moment's notice, so I'd imagine that. Yeah, it's probably not on the schedule. Was there a football team I saw that got in trouble for like. With him, yeah. Oh, no.
Starting point is 01:13:23 Trying to like hire certain kind of flight attendants. Did you see that one? Uh-uh. They only wanted blonde flight attendants or something. So the airline like got in trouble for that. That's funny. Yeah. A woman has a mid-air meltdown on a Southwest flight.
Starting point is 01:13:36 A video's going viral of a woman having a meltdown. shouting she's being human trafficked while flight attendants try to restrain her I know what if let me play this for you there was no proof that that was true now if she was I'd get up immediately if I could
Starting point is 01:14:11 and start screaming help according to what I read she was not in a good place and it wasn't true that she was being human trafficking from what I read well I hope they are definitely looking and correct oh they for sure
Starting point is 01:14:26 Well, yeah, shoot. Dude, it's on the news. You don't think everybody's looking at it now. I don't know. It just makes you think back to all that Jeffrey Epstein stuff and, like, how many times some of the victims would go report things and stuff would just, like, never happen. Yes, this does remind. But this. I'm not saying that's this. I don't think, this is just somebody freaking out of my mind. Okay, sure. Is my feeling on this one. But, you know. That is a thing to yell, though, if you want attention. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, I remember in the airport when I was in Minneapolis, it has a sign, be on the lookout for human trafficking.
Starting point is 01:14:55 I'm like, it's terrible. I know. How do you look out? Yeah. Look out for it? No. You know, we have those stories sometimes where it's like if you're looking at the right exact time and someone's holding up a note that says like, help or there's been stories
Starting point is 01:15:07 like that or it's like you would have to, I have felt when we've told those stories like, oh, I wonder if I would ever notice like a person holding up a little sign in the window or doing one of those. I can't see very well. So I would. I wait back. Hi. Isn't there a hand signal though, too?
Starting point is 01:15:22 On TikTok, there was a. Amy, that's the blood symptoms. No. The crips. Amy's doing blood. bloods in our hands. No, no. Like, I think I want to look it up now because we need to know it. A winner of a $1.35 billion mega million is suing the baby mama for blabbing about the jackpot to the family. Oh, yeah. A main man who won $1.3 billion is suing his baby mom for violating
Starting point is 01:15:45 a non-disclosure agreement by blabbing about the windfall to his parents. The lucky winner, who remains anonymous, swore the mother of his daughter to secrecy in an NDA. And that's it. Do not tell. But despite the agreement, she did it anyway. It's hard not to, man. Yeah, I know. And that has to slip.
Starting point is 01:16:04 Like, the whole time you're talking to anybody for the rest of your life, you want to be like, I'm a billionaire, you can't? That's so hard. He collected the money in one lump sum of $498 million. Oh, my God. And he's going to win that, right?
Starting point is 01:16:16 Because, like, you can't break that. Sounds like, yeah, yeah. Yeah, if you got an NDA, man, that's ironclad. Unless it's illegal. It's not ironclad, but it's pretty, It's pretty clad unless it's illegal. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:16:28 How do you know? Did you just say that? No, I just, the Tiger girl just backed off her. Tiger Woods? Yeah, because she was trying to sue saying, I want out of the NDA so I can talk about her relationship. And then we're like, nope. It did go to a judge, though.
Starting point is 01:16:40 So it's not so ironclad that a judge doesn't evaluate it. That's what I'm saying, ironclad, the judge is like, so just to date, Tiger Woods, they had to sign an NDA? Yeah. Oh, I know athletes that before they, you know, get frisky in the whiskey, they will make a person sign an NDA. That's where we're at. It's not supposed to be romantic.
Starting point is 01:17:00 It's supposed to be protective. Cool. It's just, yeah, you've got to protect yourself. Hey, by the way, cool. Sarcasm is good for the brain as the next story. Oh, perfect. It can promote creative thinking, deeper understanding of things. Despite being considered one of the lowest forms of wit,
Starting point is 01:17:15 researchers found that sarcasm actually requires considerable mental powers to speak it properly. Sarcasm is good for couples and creates inside jokes. That's from organizational behavior and human decision processes, a research journal. Love a good inside joke My wife really doesn't like sarcasm No, no, does yours? Oh yeah, really? She crushes me with it
Starting point is 01:17:33 No, like if you do it Yeah, that's fine She's so much Yeah, she's really good at it So, yeah Whatever All right, that's the news, thank you Those were Bobby's B
Starting point is 01:17:46 Stories We rolled the dice This is a legitimate dice roll Because there is money involved Amy, you get to go first It's time to play the Bobby feud we had 2,000 listeners respond to this question that we posted.
Starting point is 01:18:01 What's the best Thanksgiving side? 2,000 listeners. There are 10 answers on the board. Amy, you're up. Stuffing or dressing. Show me stuffing or dressing. Number two answer. Mashed potatoes.
Starting point is 01:18:19 Madge potatoes. Okay. Mac and cheese. Show me macaroni and cheeseroni. Number six answer. Okay. Um, sides. Okay.
Starting point is 01:18:35 We have 2,000 Bobby Bone Show listeners. What's the best Thanksgiving side? Mm-hmm. Uh, green bean situation. Green bean castle. Green bean situation, casserole. Green bean cassero. You had to say casserole and you did?
Starting point is 01:18:51 Mm-hmm. The situation is not a little different. Dang. Well, I certainly makes it a little different. I hear it. That's why it's called a casserole. Mm-hmm. I'm out of them now.
Starting point is 01:19:00 Um, well, these also have two names. So some people call them candied yams. Other people just call it sweet potatoes. Show me sweet potato situation. Sweet potatoes or candid yams. That's correct. So far you have 20 points. You have number one mashed potatoes.
Starting point is 01:19:17 Number two, stuffing and dressing. Number three, sweet potatoes are candied yams. Number six, macaroni and cheese. Number seven, green bean casserole. I'm trying to think of what else is considered a side because I have some in my head. I'm like, is that a side? You know? It's not, you know?
Starting point is 01:19:35 Amy, you could run the category. I know I could, but there's what? Bread. Bread. Show me. It's hard. I need to go to the judge here. Okay.
Starting point is 01:19:58 Some people call. I'm sorry. The answer is no. Okay. All right. Lunchbox. Yeah. The answer is rolls.
Starting point is 01:20:03 Show me rolls. Biscuits or rolls. I don't know. I didn't say yes or no. I'm not the judge. That's bread. Yellow card. Okay.
Starting point is 01:20:14 Number three. Oh, number three. No, you got a yellow card, Amy. Oh, man. I saw a guy. One more yellow card. You'd be banned from the game and the next game. It wasn't on me.
Starting point is 01:20:24 I'm not the judge. Oh, it's still me? Everybody's staring at you. Yeah, yeah. I was looking at my list, and I had three written down. I had rolls, green bean, casserole, and sweet potatoes. What's the best Thanksgiving dish? Side dish?
Starting point is 01:20:43 What do people have at Thanksgiving? They have a potato salad. Potato salad. Why not? No idea. That's like a barbecue. I know. That's all I got.
Starting point is 01:21:01 Eddie spaghetti? So what's my situation here? You're still single points? It's still single points and I can win it with single points? Run in the category. You could rent it. Win it, yeah, for sure. Because five, eight, nine, and ten are up.
Starting point is 01:21:12 Okay. I'm going to do a little, maybe I get it, but if not, no big deal. Give me pumpkin pie. So the guy, pumpkin, pie. A dessert, right? The dessert aside. But it's on the side. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 01:21:25 Yeah, okay. That's a good guy. Incorrect. We're going to double points now. Round two. Amy, there are four answers on the board. Cranberries. Show me cranberries.
Starting point is 01:21:35 I just wrote that. Number 10 answer worth 20 points. Oh. Game over. I just wrote that now. I was punning for that one. There's still enough points to win, but somebody else. But go ahead.
Starting point is 01:21:45 Good good job, Amy. Thanks. I don't know if this is the side. It's more of like an Uncle Chris. No, that's somebody that you didn't want to come over. Bread. How about his side? This could be different than bread and rolls.
Starting point is 01:21:57 This is something I like to make. I don't know if everybody else makes it. Takes a sheetcake? Oh, boy. That's good, but that's dessert. Is that it? Is that your end? No, no, no.
Starting point is 01:22:09 I'm going to go with gravy. I don't know. I know. I know. It's not the side. No, it's perfect. But you also said a whole, you had a whole, monologue and before that, it didn't match your gravy answer.
Starting point is 01:22:22 Because I felt safer going with gravy. Okay, show me, show me. Number five answer. Nice job. Okay, well now. What in the world? That's why I punted. I punted for those two. Okay.
Starting point is 01:22:34 You needed to punt though. It's strategy's not a bad strategy. If you don't make this, you should. It's cornbread casserole. Oh, now she's getting cocked. Show me cornbread casserole. That's right. People wouldn't listen out.
Starting point is 01:22:49 Lunchbox double points. You can still win, but not in the double category. Because 8 and 9 are left, and 8 times 3 is 24. 9 times 3 is 27. That would be just enough if you get both right in triple category. You know what I'm going to do? What? I'm going to go with pumpkin pie.
Starting point is 01:23:05 Pumpkin pie. Show them that. Great guess. I'll go with turkey. Show them turkey. Oh, wow. Not a side, but so close. For those one ring, that's a strategy move.
Starting point is 01:23:17 I mean, round three. We've got no choice. Amy, if you get one of these, you win. There are two on the board. The two sides. This is worth triple points. The last round. We have 2,000 Bobby Boneshow listeners on social media.
Starting point is 01:23:30 What's the best Thanksgiving side? Mashed potatoes, one, stuffing dressing, two, biscuits rolls, three, sweet potato jams, four, gravy five, mac and cheese, six, green bean casserole, seven. Cranberries ten. Golly, what a gift. I don't know if most people even make this on Thanksgiving, but... Love! They should. That's good.
Starting point is 01:23:51 I'm thinking salad. Nice. Like a good salad? Is that your answer? Oh, that's terrible. Yeah, no, that's not it. A good salad. Okay, lunchbox, you got to get them both.
Starting point is 01:24:04 I'm getting them both. Go ahead. Broccoli casserole. Show me broccoli casserole. One. Asparagus casserole. Macon cheese casserole. Eddie, now you got to get them both to win.
Starting point is 01:24:16 I mean, I don't know. Is there anything? I'm looking at my plate. And I don't see anything more. That's it. I got one more. You got one more? Best side.
Starting point is 01:24:23 You got to get them both. Give me. Eddie, look right here. No sharing. Oh, nice. I like that. No shiring. Giblets.
Starting point is 01:24:30 Ew. I mean, they're in there, right? What? Show them givlets? Okay. Is that baked potato? It's ham. That's not a side.
Starting point is 01:24:40 That would be an entree. And turkey would be like the main. I always thought turkey was the hit. Amy was close. I thought you guys would get in salad? Corn bread? Just corn bread? Corn bread.
Starting point is 01:24:47 Corn bread. Yeah, we couldn't give you that. That's what I said more specific. And there were two bread, so we couldn't do it. Okay. Corn bread. You almost gave her dough. double yellow almost every double yellow oh that would be a red I know almost I
Starting point is 01:24:58 went I was almost there and the number number nine answer was deviled eggs yeah but you are the way I'm gonna have money here now you can play for it or you can pass and not play for what would I pass for it's your idiot I don't know yeah I'm okay there are five doors if you open the right door with the money behind it you win the money what door do you know oh she's changing I'll shut the door What door do you not want to open? Okay, so I don't want to open door number one. Show me door number one.
Starting point is 01:25:42 Good. Right. My door number one was one of my glasses cleaners. Okay. Yeah. So four doors left. Go ahead. What other door do you not want to open?
Starting point is 01:25:50 So I got one. They're one through five, right? Okay. I don't want to open door number five. Show me door number five. What's back there? Oh, door number five is we all wave at you. Everybody show what you want to want.
Starting point is 01:26:05 There you go. Yay. Okay, I don't want to open door number two. Sure? Yeah. No. Look at me. No, I'm sure.
Starting point is 01:26:16 You want to open door number two? I do. Remember when this happened to me last time, maybe? Let's come back to door number two. Just think about you. Why? Why are you doing this? Because I don't remember what happened to him.
Starting point is 01:26:25 Oh, he was lying. No, no, he wasn't lying. He was telling the truth. When he said, are you sure, he really meant, are you sure? No. All right, we move on. You have door three and four. Which one do you not want to open?
Starting point is 01:26:35 I don't want to open door. Door three. All right. Show me. Door three. It was a hug from lunchbox. Okay. So you don't have to have that.
Starting point is 01:26:50 So you have door number four. You have door number two. Mm-hmm. You said you didn't want door number two. I don't want door number two. But I think you should take door number two. But that's on me. Whatever you say.
Starting point is 01:27:01 Oh, it's, now that we're, to the two, am I picking which one I want to open? Which one do you want to open two or four? I want to open door number four. Don't open door number two. I'm going to open door number four. Show me door number four. Door. Show me door number two.
Starting point is 01:27:26 Amy, he told you. Amy, that's exactly what happened to me. Oh, well. Keep my money. Four was in my head the whole time. Maybe he's a changed man. Maybe he doesn't play that game anymore. Still won. Congratulations.
Starting point is 01:27:36 Thanks. You were the one, but you just won, I don't know, Joy. Yeah. Crappy gift, that is. Okay, good. All right. Luke Combs said his favorite song as a kid was Fast Car from Tracy Chapman, and he did this cover, which has got him a lot of awards.
Starting point is 01:27:52 I think what's so great about that version of the song, it's exactly like the original. Identical. He didn't take any creative liberties. He just was like, this is an awesome song. Let me do it. And he just sings it like Luke. Oh my God, you know what I mean?
Starting point is 01:28:04 Like comb. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I agree. And so this is Tracy Chapman's version. It's a James. But that's his favorite song from a kid. So if in the same way Luke had to, if you had to cover your favorite song as a kid.
Starting point is 01:28:19 Oh, man. What song would it be that you would release a cover? Eddie? I would do La Bamba. Because when that movie came out, dude, it changed my life. I was like, there's a guy that looks like me. And he was like a rock and roll star. This is amazing.
Starting point is 01:28:36 And so I sang the whole soundtrack as a kid on my bed with a broomstick. Like, I wanted to be Richie Valen. I think you could pull this off. It's already been covered once. By Los Lobos? Yes, and they made it a big hit. But I think you could, I mean, the raging idiots could do it, cover it. Dude, let's do that.
Starting point is 01:28:51 And then we can win awards and stuff. Well, I don't know what a word, but yes. So, La Bamba, I like it. Morgan, what about you? Favorite song as a kid? Yeah, it was Reba McIntyre's Fancy because my dad always, like, played every single song of Reba,
Starting point is 01:29:04 but this one was on repeat. Kid, did you know what the song was about? Oh, no, I had no idea. Like, even our dog was named Reba. Like, everything about my life was Reba. Really? Yeah. Do you know the story of Fancy?
Starting point is 01:29:18 Not, I mean, I know it now as an adult listening to it, but not like her story, no. Who, Rivas? Yeah, like, is it? No, it's not a fancy. Riva wasn't fancy. No, Riva wasn't fancy. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:29:28 Fancy was a kid and her mom needed some, they needed money. Yeah. That's what I thought. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Reba's not fancy. Riva sang fancy. Yeah. Lunchbox?
Starting point is 01:29:38 Yeah, I didn't listen to much music as a kid. So this song goes back to being at my cousin's house and we'd play house and my brother. You would play house? You and your cousin? Yeah. And I was like, the wife? No, no, I was the kid. My brother and my cousin Pam were the mom and dad.
Starting point is 01:29:55 And then me, my sister, me, and my cousin Vicky were all the kids. And we would take a road trip. And this is the song they played. So, Kokomo by the Beach Boys. Do you think that's from Full House? Is that how you would know it or did you not watch Full House? I didn't watch Full House. So it's from Cocktail, the movie.
Starting point is 01:30:13 No, no. It was literally from my cousin's house. They would play that song over and over again. And that's how I knew the song. So whenever I'd hear it anywhere, I'd be like, oh, that's what we'd play House to. That's so weird. And so, I mean, that's the song that I would pick because as a kid, that's the one I know.
Starting point is 01:30:31 Do you think you could sing that song? Do you know any of it? Go. Yeah. Take me, ah, we'll get there fast and then we'll take it slow. Come on, baby, won't we go down to Coca-a-mo? Bermuda, Bahama. Come on, pretty mama.
Starting point is 01:30:49 What? Are you trying? Like, are you trying to sing? Are you really trying to sing a song? Are you just like slamming words? Like really try to sing it to the melody. Okay. Go ahead.
Starting point is 01:30:58 Bermuda, Bahama, come a pretty mama, key Largo. Da-na-na, why don't we go down to Coca-mo? We'll get there fast and we'll take it slow. Way down in Coca-mo. Kind of. He got low on that Cocoa. I would give you a D-plus, which is not failing. Okay.
Starting point is 01:31:20 All right. Good, man, it's good. What you had, you had. They were just out of place. Oh, really? Yeah, but it's pretty good. Yeah. It's almost like he knows that the keys got to change somewhere, so he just does it somewhere.
Starting point is 01:31:32 Ray Moondo, your favorite song as a kid? Yeah, it's Savage Garden, and I went with Truly Madly Deeply. It's a jam. Pop jam, pop love jam. Yeah, I mean, whenever I had my middle school and elementary school girlfriends, I would always sing that to them. Multiple girls, same song? Yeah, he usually seal the deal. In middle school?
Starting point is 01:32:00 What was the deal stealing? Kissing. Got it. Can you still sing it? I haven't heard that song in 20 years, but you want it? Yeah, give it. I'll be your wish. I'll be your dream.
Starting point is 01:32:10 I'll be your fantasy. I'll be your love, be everything that you need in me to be. Good. I give you a C minus. Yeah. Hey, sealed the deal for me. Both of you guys did pretty good. Yeah, I'm sealed too on that one.
Starting point is 01:32:26 Mine, if I were to cover a song or Eddie and I are The Raging Idiots, I would do this song right here. I'm moving to the country. My favorite song of the kid. Peaches. I'm moving to the country. Gonna eat me a lot of peaches. I think we could cover that? I think we used to cover that back in the day.
Starting point is 01:32:50 Record it? Yeah, in a funny way. 100%. 100%. We should get in the studio right now, do LaBamba and this. That's one song? A match-up. I used to love Presidents of United States of America.
Starting point is 01:33:01 They had lump, too. Lump said a Larch. Totally motionless, except for a heart. Remember that lunch? Not sure of that one. But I know my mom hates the presidents of the United States of America. She didn't get the name of it. Yeah, she didn't get it.
Starting point is 01:33:17 We're talking about the band. No, I'm talking about the band. This is what happened. Who's on first? I get it. Everybody, we get it. But what was the one you were seeing in the second one? Lomp said alone in a boggy marsh.
Starting point is 01:33:29 Totally motionless except for her heart. Nothing? No, I know the peaches one. Paranas. She's lop. She's lop. Okay, I hear that part. my head.
Starting point is 01:33:39 I know that part. She's lump. I've heard that one. Keep going. She's lump, lump, lump. She needs to take a dump. No, no, not it. All right.
Starting point is 01:33:48 There we go. And we'll end with that. Thank you very much, everybody. Bobby Bones show. Bonehead. Story of the day. This story comes us from White Marsh, Maryland. A man pulled up in the McDonald's drive-thru, put his order in, pulled up to the window.
Starting point is 01:34:04 They hand him his large drink. They say it'll be just a minute, sir. We're cooking your order. He sits there. Oh, it's taking too long. Gets out of the car. Reaches in the drive-thru window. Grabbs a thing of fries, throws them.
Starting point is 01:34:19 Drabbs, grabs. He's just going to eat the fries. I'm like, okay. Grabbs a Coke, throws it. Reaches back into his car, gets his large drink, throws that. And he starts screaming. We have audio? Oh, my God.
Starting point is 01:34:32 Okay, here we go. I feel I get a bad day. I'm glad he didn't. And I'm glad he didn't. Yeah, he said, definitely hangary. He said, I need. I need my food. He just diagnosed him.
Starting point is 01:34:50 Good job. That's like somebody when they have like a weird mole on their Instagram. It's like, I think you get that checked out and it turned out to be cancer. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:34:55 Eddie just diagnosed him. It's hangary for you. Yeah. Just from what I can hear. Yeah, good job, Doc. I'm gonna go ahead and say, I think it's a little more than that, but I think there's some underlying
Starting point is 01:35:04 things there. At least he didn't shoot up the place. No, no, no, no. No threats or anything. Just rip things off the wall like he ripped the cash register out. Oh. Like he went in and just went nuts.
Starting point is 01:35:14 And that's all from just reaching in the drive-thru window. the window. Makes me want to go rob a place. That's that easy. What's the thing where they used to drive through and you'd take your cup, your lid off and throw it back in? You're like cannonball or something. Fire in the hole. Did you ever do that lunchbox? Maybe. What you would do is you would order a drink. Don't do this. I never did this. This is, it was so funny. It was terrible. You would order like a large Coke and they hand it to you. You take the lid off and when they come back to give you the bag of food, wherever you go fire in the hole and you throw it back in out.
Starting point is 01:35:46 This is terrible. Drive off. I'd be so mad. It was terrible. We'll start a new one called turkey. What's that? We just gobble. And random people. Okay, you start that.
Starting point is 01:35:57 Yeah, you do that. We'll get that online. Let us know how we guys. I'm lunchbox. That's your bonehead story of the day. Does anybody remember the thing we do where it's like, it's us? Looking out for you. Scam alert.
Starting point is 01:36:08 Oh, man. We started it. We don't remember it, though. Looking out for you. Here's us. Looking out for you. Scam alert. So Eddie was scam.
Starting point is 01:36:18 But not by like a typical scammer. It wasn't online or anything. Okay. This was in person. I was at the airport and we were going to the Dallas Cowboys game. So I'm like, you know what? Let me grab a beer. You know, maybe before while I wait for my flight.
Starting point is 01:36:32 And I'd go to the little... What time of day? It was early. It was like 8 a.m. What? I mean, it was going to be a great day. You want to... Yeah, people at the airport.
Starting point is 01:36:39 But I can't even need a barbecue sandwich at 8 a.m. Oh, dude. Because my taste buds aren't, aren't like lunch dinner yet. I was ready to go. But the airport is a different spot, man. But even at the airport, you can have breakfast beer. Yeah. Oh yeah. They sell beer all hours. Okay.
Starting point is 01:36:52 There's no time there. Right. So I was at the little store, you know? I was like, I'll buy some gum, water. And like, oh, and where the beer was, it says, beer, you can take it on the plane. I said, well, that's perfect. So I bought a big beer. Like one of those big ones. This is great. I'll start drinking it here. And then when I board the plane, I'll take it in there, finish it on the plane. Were you already through security?
Starting point is 01:37:11 Yeah. This was by the gate. Okay. Yeah. So I buy the beer and I'm getting ready to go in. They're like, ah, you can't take that on the plane. Like there was a sign at the store that said take it on the plane. That's why I bought it. And they're like, well, they're not affiliated with us. I'm like, that's a scam.
Starting point is 01:37:28 So I had to throw my beer away. You didn't chug it? Each airline. It's too big. It's too big to chug. It probably has their own policy. No, no, no. It is federal regulations.
Starting point is 01:37:39 You are not allowed to bring alcohol and drink it on the line. Fine, then don't say that on the sign. Because I thought the same thing. I'm like, nah, you can't do that. Was there also water in the fridge? Yeah, all sorts of stuff. Hey, well, that's the stuff you can take it. No, it said beer.
Starting point is 01:37:51 And in that section, it was, you can take it on the plane. Are you sure it said alcohol, beer, you can take it? I don't think you're right. Right. Or you said it can take it while you wait for your plane. No, take it on the plane. That's what got me. Is this a sort of a scammer?
Starting point is 01:38:04 No, because I feel like there was probably an asterisk that says all, you know, except for the beer. Bones, you can get scanned in any way. And in that way, I got scanned. Why didn't you just chug it? It was too big. It was a big one. It was a tall boy. At 8 a.m.?
Starting point is 01:38:17 Yeah. That's too much. I draw the line there. I'm sorry that happened. You didn't deserve that. Oh, man, it's terrible. Scambler. This was us looking out.
Starting point is 01:38:24 For you. All right. We'll see you guys tomorrow. It's the Bobby Bones show. Hyundai Driving Test. Who is the worst driver on the show? Is it Amy? I've only backed into one basketball goal.
Starting point is 01:38:38 And, well, one fire hydrant. And then, well, one garage gate. Eddie. I don't have road rage. I'm a vigilante. Morgan. Well, there's a lot. only one, two, three, like 27 ducks on my dashboard.
