Welcome to Tuesday's show.
Morning studio.
Morning.
All right.
Let's go up first.
He swears this is the Cowboys year, but he's sworn that every single year.
I've known him.
Here he is.
Producer Eddie.
I don't know what it is.
Call me old, but when I wake up in the morning and I see that the streets and the grass has dew in it and it's been raining all night, I get really happy.
Why?
What about that makes you happy?
I think that I just kind of water my lawn a lot and it stresses me out when I'm watering five days a week.
You're still holding on to this.
Like you're going to be Mr. Waterplant guy, huh?
Oh, well, that's just.
me. That's my life. Like, I'm telling you that it doesn't matter if I had a bad night,
nightmares all night, and there's water on the street. And it's like, I don't have to water
that day. I'm like, this is going to be a great day. Why is that? It's because if you don't water
your yard or your plants, they'll all die. Yeah. You just need some sort of hobby. I don't,
I can't really figure out why you become plant guy all the sudden. You know what's cool about plants
is that's a life. And you are in charge of that life. You have four other little lives in your
house. Yeah, those are more important. Maybe. Maybe.
That's just what I do.
Is this one that has the poop or pee on you?
And that's why you like it?
They don't annoy me as much.
Okay, okay.
All right, thank you very much, Eddie.
Next up, he strangely just tried a cucumber for the first time ever.
We can't wait for him to say the same thing about soap and a shower.
Here he is.
Lunchbox, everybody.
Very rude, but that's okay.
And I got to say that we may have to stop using Hello Fresh at our house because it's making it too easy on my wife.
Like, they ship the meals right to our door, which is great.
But the only problem is my wife forgets, hey, we still need snacks around the house.
So she doesn't go to the grocery store at all.
You order snacks on Hello Fresh.
Yeah, I know, but that's a lot more.
I mean, that's a bigger box.
I mean, they don't have like paid of chips.
They go.
So you're saying, because of how good it is, your wife has become lazy.
Oh, I wasn't going to say that where you go to the grocery store.
Like, she's like, we already got our meals.
Don't need to go to the grocery store.
And I'm like, yeah, but what am I going to eat at 2 o'clock when I'm just like wanting to snack on something?
Why don't you get it?
Yeah, go to the store yourself.
Why don't you get it?
You take naps for three hours.
I understand.
I could go get it.
But really, I think...
You went there.
We better bleep that one out.
There he is.
Thank you very much, Lexbox.
All right, up next, she graduated from Texas A&M as an agriculture major,
but somehow she ended up talking on the radio every single morning.
Here she is.
Amy, everybody.
So I told you all my daughter got her learner's permit,
but we finally got her added to our insurance.
So she is driving all the time now.
With us in the car, obviously.
She has to have an adult with her.
her, but I feel like she passed a pretty big test. She pulled into the Sonic order station. I don't even
know what there's a little parking spot. Oh, that tastes good. I'm trying out. You'll hear more about that
later. So, okay, you know, the signs, I feel like it's nerve-wracking because there's cars on both
sides. There's a big ordering sign. And she just eased right in there, made it into the sonic spot.
So I feel like she passed that test. That should be part of the driver's exam. Like, let's pull into
Sonic. You got to angle in and you've got to stay that angle out. Otherwise,
Your mirror will hit the sign.
Yeah.
If you look at some of them,
people's cars have just ripped into the,
because they can't drive.
I know.
And you have to allow room for the server to give you your food,
so it's got to be just right.
You need to pull up to where you get the button.
I don't know why you just don't go to Sonic back for your driver's test.
You know?
I mean, and that wasn't set up because Sonic is a big sponsor of this show.
No, this is for real.
But that's what we do with our sponsors.
We love them so much.
We build driver's tests around them.
All right, finally.
Let's go, Ray.
From Mount Pine, Arkansas.
saw he's a New York Times bestseller and his dogs are Stanley and Eller.
Bobby Bones.
Thank you very much.
I, my neck on my right side, it goes down to my neck all the way into my back.
I was carrying firewood because it's now fireplace season.
Do you guys realize that?
Yeah.
We've now entered fireplaces.
So I had to carry a bunch of firewood up to where our fireplace is upstairs.
And carrying all the firewood, I put some up on my right shoulder.
I was just trying to figure out way to get it all up.
And now I'm just, I have got too.
get better at being older?
Because it's a thing. Ten years ago,
could I put it all on my shoulders, no problem.
But now I've strained my neck to the point where I couldn't even sleep on my side.
I like to be on my side and for my wife to hug me.
Yeah, a little spoon, right?
We like to say wife, hug me.
But I couldn't turn on my side because my neck hurt so bad.
I'm carrying firewood.
So what I'm going to do here is I'm going to stop biting strings or tags because I'm
breaking teeth.
Oh, my gosh.
Yeah, you need to stop that.
I'm going to stop carrying things on my neck.
And I'm going to stop lifting with my back.
lift with your core
legs legs and cores
and so these are the small steps I'm taking
to be a better older person
alright man good luck
and I want you all do the same
oh I don't lift heavy things so we're good
you don't anymore no not really I do I mean I did 300
I deadlift I heard I can send you the video
if you want to see it no I'm good man thank you
I did 300 three reps I'm good man I did three reps three hundred
Ray how is that strong or no I don't deadlift that's amazing
thank you thank you I'm pretty because how much is firewood way
it was just how I sat on my neck so I get in the door
Oh, okay, got that.
And then I put it down and I was like, oh, I spent all night with a therogun.
All right, that's where we are.
Let's start today's show.
It's time to open up the mailbag.
You send an email and we read it on the air.
It's something we call Bobby's Mailbag.
Hello, Bobby Bones.
Thanksgiving is a month and a half away.
It's the most important day of the whole year to my mom.
She also uses it as an opportunity to point out to everybody that I am still single.
This year I'm thinking about paying a casual acquaintance to come with me pretending to be my girlfriend.
I know she can sell it and she'd even be willing to help clean up and chat my mom up.
Is this pathetic?
Or is it just proof that I am a master of my own convenience and sanity?
Signed single during the holidays.
Well, the first question is it pathetic yes.
Number two, should you do it?
Possibly.
It depends how overbearing your mom is about it.
Like, if you have a friend that'll do it,
it just depends about
I can only imagine having a mom
that won't shut up about being single
and you're like
you're just who I am,
leave me alone
and it turns into something
is it pathetic yes
I want to lead with that yes
but I've done a lot of pathetic things
if it is so bad
you can do one or two things
have an uncomfortable sit down with your mom
but it's not Thanksgiving's not the time to do that
that's the healthy thing
yeah sure
the holy thing is not always
what's going to actually work
or make it comfortable
I like comfort
Okay.
At Thanksgiving, though, that's a tough, that's tough for everybody, because Thanksgiving's not about healthy.
Thanksgiving's the opposite.
Oh, that's right.
You don't eat very healthy.
No, we're just together.
Thanksgiving's about, hey, let's all just smile and not talk politics, not talk about things that make us tick.
We're together.
Let's just enjoy it and all find what we relate to each other over.
And that's it.
Eat our turkey.
See in Christmas.
So probably you could have that talk with her before, but then you can't take the friend.
you can't have that talk with her at Thanksgiving
and also it depends how much the friend costs
you're going to get caught lying is the thing
so you should just know that
you're going to get caught
because either the friend's going to
mess up and say something wrong
eventually you're going to admit it
it's pathetic
but if you just need it as a stopgap
until that conversation with your mom
I understand do I recommend you do it no
I just say you go you take it you grit your teeth
you don't get in a fight about it
And between Thanksgiving and Christmas, that's when you go, stop.
I'm going to be single for a long time.
And so I dealt with this a bit where it came up a lot.
Like, why are you still single?
Because in my hometown, you got married to 18 or 19.
You went to work at the mill.
And I was 32 or so.
My mom is still alive.
And I never had a serious girlfriend.
And so here's the thing.
If she is so crazy, you feel like you have to, I'm not going to judge you.
Judge Free Zone.
I would say you don't do it.
unless you really, really have to,
but then you got to have the talk after Thanksgiving
and be like, that was a lie.
I just needed to get to get to the date.
You're going to get caught.
You're going to get caught in a lie.
It's too big of a lie.
So that's my advice.
Don't do it unless you really feel like you have to.
And if you do do it, let us know and tell us exactly how it went.
I want every detail.
I want to know how much of the cause.
I'm going to see a picture of you guys.
You got to hold hands.
You got to kiss a little bit.
That's awkward too.
You're acting.
It's the whole thing.
So don't do it unless you really,
really have to.
but if you do have to, we will not judge you on this show.
Good luck with the holidays.
The holidays are stressful.
In every way.
For people that have the greatest families, people have no families.
For people that have no families who now have families.
That's me.
It's like, oh, boy, I don't really know how to do this yet.
I'm new.
I'm new to doing family stuff.
So just understand you're also not alone in going, oh, the holidays, they're tough.
They're tough for everybody, but they're also awesome, hopefully.
All right, that's what's up.
That's the mailbag.
Close it up.
We've got your email and we read it on your air.
Now it's about to close.
Bobby's mailback.
Yeah.
On the phone, Jacob.
Jacob, appreciate you calling.
What's going on, buddy?
Hey, morning, studio.
Morning.
Hey, so I am 28 years old over from Arkansas,
and I've never met my biological father.
And when I was around 10 or 11, he passed away.
Well, never met his side of the family, never talked to them.
When now all of a sudden, his brother, my uncle, he called me,
and he wants to meet up and come down from California and meet me.
And I really don't know how to approach this after never seen them, never talking to them or anything.
I'm just seeking some advice on how I can do this.
Are you worried that they're up to something?
What would be the negative here in your mind?
I don't really see any negative coming from him.
I've never heard anything bad.
It's just kind of a shocker who's like out of my whole life.
they've never reached out to me
and why would they reach out to me now?
I don't think it's something you question, honestly.
If there's no ulterior motive
where you're like, okay, they're coming to me because of money
or they're coming to me because of the accent,
I don't think it hurts ever
to meet someone who's in your family.
I can also tell you this.
So the quick version, I don't know.
I mean, I know my real dad a little bit now,
but I didn't know him forever.
I only remet him a few years ago for the first time
after 30 years.
And so, you know, I don't have an interest to talk to him all the time, but I don't hate him anymore.
And if he showed up, I said, hey, let's go to lunch.
I'll go to lunch with him.
Cool.
But not only that, I have a half brother that I may have met twice in my life.
That's his son, who I probably haven't seen since I was 12.
I think he was like four or five of the time.
And, you know, I was talking to my wife, like, for no other reason, I'm like, you know, I should meet him.
I get to know him.
He's my half brother.
And so I would hate for him to go, why is he, why is he?
Why is Bobby calling me now?
Like, what is his motive?
No motive except as we get older, we go, dang.
Maybe I should just shut things down with this person because I shut things down with another person.
And honestly, the uncle could have been, I don't think I should reach out because that's weird between him and his dad.
Maybe he felt like there was some sort of boundary he shouldn't cross because of his brother.
I would simply say, be open to it.
If he wants to travel to you and have lunch, you absolutely lose nothing, but you could possibly gain something.
and that's an uncle. That's family member. That's blood. That's genetics. So I say go for it. Meet them. Worst case is. You don't ever see them again. Best case is you got a new family member that you could call or trust when times aren't great.
I appreciate you. That's good advice right too.
I think so too, guys. I think that was good advice too. Yeah. I think that was good advice too.
Hey, Jacob, good luck, man. I know that's some heavy stuff and I know that it's been weighing on you. But I encourage you to, you know, charge at it and go and meet your blood, go and meet your family.
and hopefully you guys are cool after this.
You probably won't be super close, but maybe you will be.
Yeah, maybe you never know.
Hopefully it turns out good.
Hopefully it does.
Well, let us know how it goes, okay, buddy?
Oh, thank you.
All right, have a good day.
It's time for the good news.
With producer Eddie.
Tell me something good.
Ryan Carney, he lives in Illinois,
and he was dealing with his dad's brain cancer,
and while they were going through all that,
the dad lost his ability to speak,
and it was very strange,
and they didn't know how to deal with that,
and then all of a sudden,
One night the song Stand By Me came on, and the one thing the dad could say was sing the song to stand by me.
Like Benny King.
Yeah.
When the night?
So he's like, this is crazy.
So he started to learn how to play cello so his dad would just kind of keep talking and singing songs because that was the only way to do it.
And he realized how important music was to healing his dad.
So now what he does is he goes to retirement homes and he plays the cello for people because he realizes that it just makes them really happy and it makes them feel better.
And here's him talking about why he does it.
I get to help people trigger that chemistry in their heads through music.
It is the absolute greatest feeling in the world.
You could close your eyes and just feel like you could float away.
It's a sweet story, but I hear I'm playing piano.
Don't tell me.
What was that?
Like a Disney song?
Chaupein.
Somewhere over the rainbow?
Yeah, somewhere that's it, Amy.
Yeah, it's good Chopin lunchbox.
Chopin.
I did see a video that was super cool, not this one, but something like it, where people that are suffering from older people that suffer from dementia or even Alzheimer's, they will go to them and they'll talk to their kids or their grandkids and find out what music they really liked as a kid.
And they can play those songs.
And it's the closest thing to a, I don't know, this probably is the right term, but like a snap out of it.
You can't because it's such a debilitating disease where they actually like remember.
It brings clarity to them.
them because music does that, it hits a part of the brain, and that feeling that happens when they
hear that song is the same feeling then, and so they're able to connect the two. So, really
great story. You're not going to believe me, but when I was younger, I thought I'd do music
therapy for a living. I do believe you because you do music. Yeah, but then I realize, like,
I'm not smart enough for that. You do music and you're a good guy. Yeah. Maybe you aren't
smart enough for. I don't know. I don't know. Maybe you weren't. Hey, great story. That
You're smart. Eddie, you're smart. That is what it's all about.
was tell me something good.
Most American homes have at least one of these,
but more than two-thirds of them no longer work.
That's the question.
As we play our game, never going to get it.
You're never going to get it.
That's right.
Let's put Rachel on the phone here.
Rachel, how are you?
I'm good. How are you?
Really good. Good morning.
I hope everything's going just swimmingly this morning.
So far.
Good.
Here's the question.
Most American homes have at least one of these,
but more than two-thirds of them no longer work.
What are they?
Now, you get to answer it in a second, Rachel.
And then if she misses it, she'll go to one of you four.
And then if you miss it, we'll go to our sudden death.
I try to give her a chance to win a $50.
Sonic, gift card.
Sonic. Say it with me.
We should just start making up seconds and see if businesses take them.
Sonic.
Ooh, that's great.
That's great.
Sonic.
It tastes good.
Sonic.
I'm workshopping some stuff here.
See how it goes. Okay. Rachel,
most American homes have at least one of these, but two-thirds of them no longer work.
What is it? You get to go first. What's your guess at, Rachel?
Flashlight.
Pretty good, because the batteries are often dead and a flashlight.
Yeah, that's real good.
Mostly, I can't even find the flashlight, though, I'll be honest.
It's always there when it's lit, just fine.
And then when it's dark, or I can never find it.
But it is not flashlight that was a good answer.
Now, you guys have been thinking about this, right?
Oh, yeah.
Got it.
most American homes have at least one of these,
but more than two-thirds of them no longer work.
Now, Rachel, I'm going to give you an extra option here to start.
You can pick one of the members of the show,
or you can pick that none of them get it.
You have that option as well.
Lunchbox.
Yeah, I got it.
Amy, most American homes have at least one of these,
but more than two-thirds of them no longer work.
What is it?
VCR.
Wow.
That's really good, Amy.
It's like printing press.
I like that one though
A better guess would have been DVD player
Lunchbox
Yeah it's easy guys
Emergency you think you got one but it doesn't work
Fire extinguisher
Boom
Why would it not?
They get old
I don't know what's going on here
I thought like everybody would guess this one
It's a phone line
We all have the existing phone line
But that's not plugged in it doesn't work
It's not connected
Oh I get that now I was thinking but it could work
Morgan
Well my parents are in the one third of that
I'm saying a landline phone.
I'm with Eddie.
Yeah, that's it, guys.
Okay, good one.
Okay, Rachel, you've heard them.
Amy picked a VCR.
Lunchbox, your guy.
Picked fire extinguisher.
Although,
fire extinguishes.
I would not even know that mine don't work if I don't use it.
Exactly.
You don't know it doesn't work.
That's exactly right.
We're going straight Socrates now.
Like, does it work if you don't know?
Yeah.
Don't hate on my answer.
Rachel, I'm going to let you think about lunchboxes
and you can switch off of him if you want.
Do you like his or do you want to stick with him?
Hmm
You can come off lunchbox if you don't like it
Hmm
I'm gonna go with VCR
Okay, you're switching from lunchbox to Amy
So you went even worse
Yeah, yeah yeah I don't know that my answer's that great
Yeah, lunchbox, your answer is wrong
Okay
Well, I knew once you said
Amy your answer's wrong
I know
Okay
Eddie your answer's wrong
What, no
Morgan your answer's wrong
Hey
So what in the world?
Everybody's been wrong
I know, but what could it be?
Are you sure?
Do you want to take another stab at it?
Yes.
Yeah.
Now, Rachel, I'm explaining this to you one final time.
I'm going to let them take one more guess at this.
Now, you can pick that one of them gets it or that none of them get it.
Now, you can say, somebody in the group will get it.
That's option one.
That somebody in the entire group will get it.
Or that nobody in the entire group will get it.
And this is your final chance.
This is your 50-50.
Do you think somebody will get it or nobody will get it?
Nobody.
Okay, she's going nobody.
Read the question one more time.
Most American homes have at least one of these.
But more than two-thirds of them no longer work.
Never going to get it.
No longer work.
No longer work.
No longer work.
What in the world?
No longer work.
No longer work.
Whatever it is, it doesn't work anymore.
Yeah, 15 seconds to think about that.
What would it work anymore?
No longer.
Stop working.
All of a sudden.
15 seconds, guys.
Oh, I got it.
Well, she doesn't want any of you to get it.
Well, I got it.
Bad news.
Okay.
We're going to go.
Time's up.
Amy?
Alarm.
System.
That's so good.
Like a security.
We've got them, but they don't work.
Lunchbox?
Cell phone.
Eddie?
You never get rid of your old cell phone.
It's a blender, dude.
Every time you want to make a smoothie, it doesn't work.
I'm going with a remote.
All right.
Rachel.
None of them got it right.
Oh, my gosh.
What in the world is?
It's an air freshener.
Oh, what?
Oh, wow.
Plug it in.
Go plug it in.
You don't refill it?
It never works.
Yeah, it doesn't work.
No, it never refills those.
They throw them away.
I mean, whoever buys those.
Well, unplug them if they're not, because that could cause fire.
We'd have been here all day.
You guys would never got it.
That's why we call it, never going to get it.
That's right.
Here's here's our big winner, Rachel, though.
Never even thought of it.
That's what we should call the game.
Never even thought of it.
Never even thought of it.
All right, Rachel, stand the line.
We'll get you your prize, okay?
Thanks.
And don't forget, a sonic gift card, $50.
Mmm, so, so tasty.
Mmm.
How's that one?
So, so taste.
It's better.

All right, this is a voicemail we played on the show about a week or so ago.
Hit it, Ray.
Morning, Bobby.
Morning show.
I'm a little bit behind on the podcast.
I've been really busy.
But I just heard about lunchbox and influencing everybody about their lottery tickets.
So I went and bought mega millions last night.
And I won.
So since lunchbox helped me win, I won more than I've ever won.
I'd like to split it with them half and half.
I will show him the ticket.
I will give him the money, have him get in contact with me,
and I will split it with the 50-50, all right?
We tried to call the guy for days.
Then we were told he had gone into hiding
because he had some business to take care of.
Now, if someone wins a lottery, what do they often do?
Go into hiding or disappear and never hear from them again?
Well, I don't know that they disappear and you never hear from them again.
They get murdered?
They do kind of get off the grid until they get their financial affairs.
in order. Get attorneys, that type of thing.
Yeah. We couldn't get a hold of this guy forever.
Yeah, I thought he called and then he realized,
oh my gosh, I'm never going to give lunchbox money,
so I'm going to run and hide. And so I
gave up on this dude. We finally have tracked him down.
We got him? We got him. Let's go!
Okay, so we're going to put on Billy in Missouri.
Hey, Billy, where do you live in Missouri?
I am in Richland, Missouri next to Fort Leonardwood.
And we've been excited for a week
because you came and you dropped the big news
on us that you won more money than you've ever
one in your entire life. And because of that, you wanted to share it with lunchbox. Now, did you say
share or split? Split. Wow, lunchbox? Like straight down the middle. That's a great question.
Are you asking that? Yeah, like split like 50-50, right? Yes. Oh my goodness. So we couldn't get
a hold of you for a week and then we were told that you were kind of in hiding because, and they didn't
say, but we thought you were getting your financial affairs in order. Is there any truth to that?
Well, I've been debating on moving to Texas.
No tax.
I wasn't able to go to work.
I wasn't able to go to work for about a week, maybe 10 days or so.
But, yeah, I couldn't get to my phone.
Because of the lottery?
Yes, Amy, because of the lottery.
What do you think?
Why else would he not?
Did you guys write down how much you thought he won?
Remember this bit we did?
Oh, yeah.
Go back to it if you can remember.
Okay, got it.
How much did he win?
Lunchbox gets half.
Yeah.
Whatever he was.
This is not binding, by the way, if him,
saying this. Yes, it is. Okay. Amy,
what do you have? 50 bucks. Oh, you're going
low. I mean, I just think he's never
won 50 before. He's excited about it.
Eddie? It's the most he's ever won.
$50. Oh, wow, both of you guys.
We were thinking the same.
I mean, that's going to be epic. What would you think if that were the case?
If it were something as low as $50?
Oh, I'd be very disappointed. Why?
You'd get $25. But he calls me up
like he's going to change my life.
Well, he's excited. And so, I mean,
I am expecting a pay day.
Hey, Billy, where do you go to get
this ticket and do you often get lottery tickets? I used to go all the time and then just
I listen to the show every day and listen to you guys talking about the lottery. I started going
again and I played the mega millions and just so the lunchbox can get a little excited, I did
get the Mega Ball. That's what I'm talking about. So he's leading us through it now.
That's what I'm talking about. I get old T's. That's what I'm talking about. Okay. So you do
have the Mega Ball and when you won, were you watching, I don't know if you can watch live or do you
just look online? You can watch it on YouTube. Were you watching live? Did you see it that night
or do you wake up the next day?
And how surprised were you?
That's a great question.
I was very surprised because I don't ever win.
The most I win is like two, three bucks.
See?
That's what I'm saying.
Yeah, okay.
We're on the open up.
What do you think of his lunchbox?
I think he won a million dollars and I'm getting $500,000.
I wrote down I got $500,000 coming to me right here.
What would be the amount that you're disappointed by?
Anything under $100,000.
What?
So if he said he won $25,000, you'd be disappointed at $12,000.
Yeah.
I mean, I'd take it, but I'd be disappointed.
Now, Billy, this has been a big buildup here on the show.
Do you want to share with us?
Because we don't know.
Oh, my God.
How much you won in the mega millions.
Change my life, Billy.
And will you change lunchboxes life, Billy?
Bring the heat.
Yes, well, I did not win the jackpot.
And I did not win the million dollars.
And I did play the mega pliers, so I got $40 total with the mega player.
Yeah, that's great.
I think that's the most he's ever won.
That's more than we've won.
But I'd also like to give a third of it to
Steve since he made me play the megapriar
so the lunchbox would be in for $13.
No, no, no, no, no, wrong, wrong.
You said split.
50, 50. That's $20.
You just said you'd be disappointed with you.
No, no, stop.
Why are you angry now?
Now, because he's going back on his word.
He's becoming a liar.
No.
On national radio, he's becoming a liar
because he said he would split it 50-50.
So I get 20.
If you want to give your percentage out of your percentage to scuba, that's fine.
But my percentage is $20.
Now you're holding tight to $20.
But I was going to split it with both of you.
No, that's not what, no, no, no, no.
He just said split it.
He didn't say split it with you.
He said split it 50-50 with me.
Are you really going to hold him to this?
Yes.
But how are you going to enforce it?
I mean.
He can just hang up right now.
I'm sure Steve's fine.
Just take the 20.
Billy.
That's very kind and generous of you to give away part of your.
prize winning.
So you're going to mail me a check or what?
A check.
Benmell.
I'll send you a check.
Billy, you really?
You lifted him up and you smacked him
back down.
He was awesome.
That was funny, Billy.
I got to tell you.
That was funny.
I'm going to send it to him on carrier pigeon.
I like that.
Straight up game of throwing style.
He thinks he's funny.
He is funny.
He made us wait for a week.
Yeah, a whole bit.
This is turned to a whole bit.
We didn't even know it was a bit.
Billy, great job.
I got to say, great job on that.
Thank you.
And congratulations.
on your win. You should keep all your money. No, you shouldn't. If you want to be a man of your
word, like if you want respect in your community, then you will send me my $20. But if you want to be
known as a snake, you know, keep it. All right, hey, Billy, thanks for the bit. Thanks for the segment.
We had no idea how much you won. We kind of all figured it around 50 bucks.
We figure Billy was funny like we are. Stay on hold and Abby will get you my information
and see you turn of my money.
Billy, have a great rest of the week, man. That's funny.
Yeah, you too.
All right, see you later.
Got him.
Hey.
Got them.
Got them.
A voicemail from Abby in Virginia Beach.
I have a morning corny.
What is a ghost favorite makeup product?
Mascar.
Oh, that was pretty good.
Mascar.
Mascara.
Mascara.
I love it.
I hear a Cheyenne from Iowa.
Bobby, somebody's trying to steal your show.
There is a new show on Netflix called The Mole.
And it says in this reality competition series,
Players try to win money by completing challenges,
but somebody in the group is secretly trying to sabotage the group.
Now, to me, that sounds a lot like Snake in the Grass.
To me, Snake in the Grass sound a lot like the mole from the 90s at times.
Oh, yeah.
Because Snake in the Grass was kind of based off of an older show called The Mole,
a little bit of Survivor, a little bit of jackass.
Like, we kind of took all those parts.
So the mole's been around for a long, long time.
It just wasn't that successful the first time they did it.
but the mole is based off of
like old like whodunit
murder mysteries. So there's a new mole
now? That's what I hear. Because everybody keeps
going get mad, they stole your show and I'm like actually
What happened was?
See what happened was. Thank you for that though, Cheyenne. I appreciate that call.
Here's Amy's pile of stories.
Are you dressing up for Halloween, Bobby?
I don't think so. I don't think I have a reason to
because I don't take any kids trick-or-treating
because I have no kids.
Yeah, you don't. Unless I'm like
with Eddie taking his kids
and I don't think I'm doing that.
I don't know what night it is.
So I'm going to go with no for now.
It's on a Monday night.
Yeah, I don't think I'll be dressing up.
Yeah, okay.
Well, BuzzFeed put out a list
of things people should just keep
off limits when it comes to your Halloween costumes.
Blackface.
Yes.
That's definitely one.
Anything outside of your own race.
Yeah.
Yeah, just leave it alone.
The queen.
COVID.
Wait, why not the queen?
She died.
Rest of peace is my tribute to her.
I know.
We do a lot of dead people.
Yeah.
Right?
Hey, I didn't put together.
there's this list? Buzzfeed.
Isn't Halloween about dead people?
Well, all hallows Eve.
Oh.
The pagan.
If you go deep in there.
The queen, though, I think is on limits.
I think it's probably.
Yeah, yeah.
What else did you say there?
COVID and monkey pox?
Like, any kind of disease?
Monkeypox?
I don't know.
No, it's so sad.
You know, monkey pox is borderline of what you,
if you do the right monkey pox.
But COVID, no.
Too many people die from COVID.
Yes.
Yeah. Johnny Depp and Amber Hurd.
That'd be a tough one.
Don't be a tough one.
I don't think you can do that one.
You can't.
Oh, damn.
Putin?
Yeah.
I don't know.
I guess if you present Putin
in a non-positive light,
you could.
Some people would do
like Saddam Hussein
or bin Laden,
but like with their head cut off
or shot out or something.
You know,
that still,
I'm like,
that's not for me.
But at least you kind of
paid tribute to America.
And then they say
if you're an adult,
well,
or if you're a kid,
like children's costumes
that are sexy,
like a sexy minion.
I have no comment.
If I have a comment,
it feels creepy.
The answer is no.
Speaking of Halloween too,
though,
did you see some mom
said she found some
cannabis worms in her kids' Halloween candy.
Did she say that excited or did she say that like, watch out?
Watch out.
Oh, okay.
It was a weed worm in there.
And so it's like mixed in.
So just be aware of that parent.
I bet you that's more prevalent where people have these gummies and whatever they are.
And they don't do it on purpose.
Okay.
Find something.
We get the kids here.
I don't know.
Give them some of those gummy bears.
Yeah, nobody wants to get rid of that.
Honey.
Where is my THC?
Okay.
So a mom in upstate New York is facing charges after letting her 10-year-old son get a tattoo.
He got his name.
Yeah, his name in big block letters across his forearm.
It's kind of like your tattoo, Bobby.
The letters on your arm.
And the tattoo artist could face charges as well, but they can't find him.
That's bad news all around.
Mom should not have allowed that.
Tattoo artists should not have done that.
I mean, if I'm a 10-year-old, though, I'm probably asking for it, so I'm not mad at him.
But that's crazy that she would let him do that.
And some states allow you to get tattoos if you're a minor as long as you have your parents' consent.
At 10?
But New York doesn't.
I don't know about 10, but it says every state has different laws.
But New York doesn't even allow it.
Like even if you went at 17 and your parents said, okay, they wouldn't allow it.
Is that like with those states that allow like 13-year-olds to get married still?
Like as long as your parent, that's crazy that some state would let a 10-year-old get a tattoo.
Oh, well, it's not, I don't know state to state if it's allowed, but it's crazy.
Okay.
What else?
Dustin Lynch brought a little girl on stage to sing party mode together,
and the girl's mom was talking about it and said it was the best day of her daughter's life.
And she said that Dustin is so amazing for giving them this experience.
I got to give it to that little girl because she's singing as hard as she can.
Yeah.
In an environment she's never been in.
That's really cool.
I mean, she can't sing, but that's not the point of that.
I mean, she's just letting it go.
No, that clip makes me smile so big because, you know, she's never going to forget that.
And he just got a fan for life.
Yeah, she's just like, party.
Party mode!
That is really great.
Wow.
Okay.
I'm Amy.
That's my pile.
That was Amy's pile of stories.
It's time for the good news.
With lunchbox.
Tell me something good.
Eddie Daniels is the mayor of Vienna, Georgia, and Saturday morning, he's driving to work when he sees a lady in an SUV broken down on the railroad tracks.
And he looks and a train's coming.
Train!
So she's trying to get the two younger kids out
And he runs over and there's one other kid
And he's pulling, pulling,
Rips the kid out of the car as the train.
Boom!
Hits the SUV.
Mayor Daniels suffers a broken ankle
And eight stitches to his head
Because he got hit by flying debris.
But the kid would have been a goner if Mayor Daniels wasn't there.
I elected every turn for life.
Hey, he does have.
Hey, guaranteed one vote if he runs again.
That lady's going to be a goner for.
for him.
Until she finds out
what he really stands for.
They disagree.
Politics is brutal.
Even someone that saved your life
like I hate him.
That's a great story of him.
Risking his life to save them.
Probably wasn't even about the mayor.
Somebody was parked beside him in the garage today
with a big mayor tag on the side of their car.
Not from even the state.
Oh, you think it was the mayor?
I don't know who it was, but it was like mayor somebody is here.
Really?
They're like a talk show here, Scoobber or something?
Yeah, they're a guest for one of the talk shows.
Because he parked there,
screw to my parking too.
Okay.
Because I could have my normal spot
Because that person was part there
I think it's a woman by the way
It was a woman
I thought I said like Clint or something
Everybody had noticed
Matthews was the last name
But I'm a woman driver
Okay
All right
It doesn't matter
All right thank you
Lunchbox were you gonna say
You want to hear Mayor Daniels
Talking about the story?
I love to go ahead
Oh here he is
At that time I seen the train
And the six year old
I was pulling her out
That's when the train here
They told me I was a hero
I said I don't feel like a hero
just feel like I'm doing what I'm supposed to do
what the people elected me to do.
Terrible thing, but we was able to save some lives.
That's awesome.
You know a real hero?
Heroes say?
I'm not a hero.
That's right.
And if anybody says I am a hero, they're not a real hero.
Only heroes say I'm not a real hero.
Wow.
Yeah.
It's tricky.
That's deep.
All right.
Great story.
That is what it's all about.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
Eddie brought up a good about a clip we played a minute ago.
So Dustin Lynch, he's singing a song on stage,
He has this song called Party mode, Party mode, Party mode.
You know that one he goes?
Yeah, of course.
He's up, he's singing it, and he has his little girl singing with him.
And we're having a good time, we're laughing because she's crushing it, singing as hard as she could.
We're like, that's amazing.
Here's the clip.
So what was your question?
Yeah, it's really cute, right?
But does he play that again, like, without the girl?
Because what if that's your favorite song?
And you're like, you went just to hear Dustin sing that, and this little girl's just singing it.
I got a couple things to say.
If that's your favorite song, you should get a new favorite song.
He has better songs
That's a catchy song
But that's probably not your favorite song
Two, no, I don't think you play it again
Really?
I think that's a party song
Yeah, maybe she's just up there for verse and chorus
Okay, that's one to say
What if he does?
For the whole song, I don't think it matters
Extended version
Listen, if she gets up and screams
Cowboys and Angels with him
Ooh, that's a jam
That's a slow when people wait for
And it's like mean something
I think that's a perfect song
That doesn't matter
Okay
It's a fun one
Everybody's supposed to be singing
Well his whole tour was called party mode
After that song.
Yeah.
I know.
That's what I mean.
Some people might really...
Some people just went to the tour
because that's their favorite.
Exactly.
If she's like going,
Cowboys and Angels,
then that's probably a song you do again.
But I think she could sing the whole party mode.
You don't do that again.
All right.
Just depends on the song.
All right, let's go over to Amy and get in the morning corny.
The morning corny.
Who did the scary ghost invite to his party?
Who did the scary ghost invite to his party?
party. Any old friends he could dig up.
That was the morning corny.
Amy hits with the clap in that too. She was really trying. Like she got the laugh and the
clap and she's really trying to get us out on that one.
Lunchbox sent me a note last night said his house was robbed and I told my wife I said
lunch lunch was house and then he said that his kids were all sad because they were like
dad at people still. And so
I mean, you're not lying.
Not lying.
We were robbed.
What happened?
We were the victims of a crime.
You went home and did you, how long until you realized?
Because when my house got broken into, it took me a minute.
I was like, these things, this is not right.
Something's wrong.
And it took me a minute to go on.
It was my four-year-old that really noticed first.
He was like, Dad, what happened?
And I'm like, what do you?
Oh, no.
And he's like, where are they?
And I was like, I don't know.
And then I told my wife, I was like, man, we've been robbed.
What did she say?
She's like, are you serious?
And she's like, what?
You're right.
And she's freaking out.
And she's like, I don't know if I can stay here.
Do we need to move?
Like, why would someone do that?
And my son is like, dad, why would someone do that to us?
Like, why would a person do that?
And I said, I don't know son.
And he goes, man, that's sad.
And I'm like, I know.
And the fact that someone had the audacity to come to my house, walk up on my front porch,
and steal my pumpkins.
I'm pissed.
Oh my gosh.
I'm so mad.
This pumpkins.
I thought someone broke in his house.
He sent me this whole thing.
And at the very end, it was like, I can't believe they stole my pumpkins.
They didn't break in his house, guys.
I was robbed.
I was robbed.
Like, I mean, the kids were shook.
My son.
Okay, okay.
Someone stole your pumpkins.
I don't think that's being robbed.
No, that's being robbed.
It's teenagers.
No, no, no, no.
Is you steal pumpkins from houses?
No, no, no.
Did you ever steal pumpkins from houses?
Hold on.
No, no, no, no.
Hold on.
Let me ask this question.
Hold on.
Did you ever steal a pumpkin from my house?
Yes.
So you robbed houses?
No, no.
Let me tell you.
No, no.
I would smash them right there in front, in the street.
Oh, wow.
This person drove up in a car, got the pumpkins,
put them in their car, and took them for their house for decoration
because there are no smash pumpkins anywhere.
And I had a big old spider crawling over the pumpkins.
And they just knocked the spider off and was just laying there on the front porch.
Because they didn't steal the spider.
I understand that.
But you didn't get really.
robbed. I got robbed.
Someone violent. They stole something from outside of your house.
That's different than going inside of your house and going
through your stuff and stealing your watch
and your TV and your
cat. I don't know what people steal. Mine was
they broke a window and stole my PlayStation and some other
cash. Yeah, I don't know how we recover from this.
As a family, like as the safety wise,
the feeling of just grossness
that someone would come in art. Didn't you steal those pumpkins
though to begin with? No. They were
here at work and they had a free trailer outside
and said free. No, no. They said free for the
people that work in this building.
And I work in this building.
A different company owns the building now, and it was for their company only.
And you knew that.
I asked them, hey, are these free?
And the guy said, yes.
What if they just came and stolen back?
I could not believe that they came to my house and robbed me like that.
I mean, my kids, my four-year-old was just like, dad-da.
So now what we did.
Before we went on with this bit, Eddie goes, let's see what the click bait's all about.
I knew it.
Going into this segment.
Did you get cam footage?
No, I don't have doorbell camera.
He doesn't believe in this.
You don't believe in this.
You don't believe.
believe in a doorbell cam? No. I don't believe in that crap.
He's like, I don't lock my doors. You know why? Because it's ruining America.
What? Here we go. Here we go. Because, listen, now kids can't even go toilet paper a house.
So you let your doorbell cam off so kids can toilet paper your house?
I don't have a toilet. I don't have one of those. No, no, you don't have one so kids are allowed to toilet paper
of your house. That's why you put it up there. For America. No, I never put one up because
you're not getting one. Right, because... To allow kids a toilet paper of your house.
Because when my kids are older and their friends come toilet paper my house,
I don't want an alarm to go off in a signal and like, oh, like every house now has one.
So when my kids are ready to go toilet paper houses, they're not going to be able to.
They're not going to be able to go ring the doorbell and run because it's going to be a camera
so they're going to know who it is.
It's ruining kids' lives in America.
Like the doorbell cam is so overused and we don't need it.
But you not having one doesn't mean other people.
They shouldn't.
What about people that, you know, porch pirates are a big thing right here.
You could see who stole your pumpkins.
You could see someone stole your medicine that was delivered to you.
You're right.
Who robbed you.
I did get robbed.
But that's the price I paid.
Because of toilet paper ring, a house.
Yes.
Okay, got it.
I just making sure.
Like, don't you think that's a kid's right when they're younger to go toilet paper houses and ring doorbells and run?
A right?
No.
Yes.
And now with doorbell cams, they're not going to be able to do any of that.
Egg houses.
I mean, what are we going to do?
Forkyyards.
We did that.
Yeah.
Yeah, so windows.
Somebody put a porter potty in my yard as a kid.
Oh, they have to do.
do us put a mask on. Oh, that's true.
You don't know who it is. You don't know who it is.
No, but right when you go in the yard,
the doorbell cam is going to alert you
and they're not going to be able to toilet paper.
What about if I've alerted someone to someone to kill them, murder them?
And that saves them. That doesn't happen.
You thought about it. That doesn't happen.
All right. So you didn't get burglarized. Someone just saw your pumpkins.
I got robbed. Okay. Middle of the night.
Someone came on my porch. You don't know middle of the day.
You had that doorbell cam. You would know, though.
We got him with click bait. You got me with the click bait. You got her. She felt so
bad and I was like, wait a minute.
They stole his pumpkins that he stole to begin with.
I knew it.
So you're back to even.

All right, show and tell.
What did you find this morning when I was like, find something cool and bring it in?
I want to know.
Amy, you're first.
Okay, so a lot of us women, the last decade, have been growing out our eyebrows.
It's just like a thing.
Growing them out?
Yeah, or we want fluffier eyebrows, or at least that was the trend.
Can you go out like a beard, long?
No, but like you can.
try to like take care of them and moisturize them and microblade them.
Thick.
You want thick?
Thicker.
Yes, that's been the trend.
But then I see on TikTok this morning, are you brave enough to try the no eyebrow trend?
Hey, I love courage, not here.
It's weird.
I've seen, I've, this is.
Well, it's not from like back in the day, day, like in the 90s and early 2000s when
some of the same women that are trying to grow them out were plucking them all off and
making them really skinny.
It's where you bleach them, you shave them or you use makeup to cover them up.
and then it just looks like you don't really have eyebrows.
I've seen all the Kardashians do that.
It looks like they're aliens.
Weird.
Where they, again, either bleach them blonde or shave them off.
And it is bizarre.
I don't like it, but that's me.
What do I know?
I just know what I like.
I just thought, oh, no, okay, this is a TikTok trend.
I will not be joining it on.
Eddie.
We all know Carrie Underwood can sing, right?
But I saw this video of her show like a couple nights ago in Greenville,
and she gets on the drum set and starts jamming.
Dude, she's good on the drums.
Here's audio right here.
That's scary?
Yeah, that's her play.
And her hair's flying everywhere.
She looks like she's in Guns and Roses.
It's awesome.
If a singer gets up and does anything
they're not expected to do during the show,
people flip their crap.
Like if Carrie's up, she sings this song,
she's like, oh, before he cheats,
he goes, oh, watch this.
And then she pulls out some Legos.
And then builds like a house.
That's crazy.
We can't believe you can do that.
But yeah, she looked pretty good up there.
Yeah, she looks awesome.
You just don't expect her to be playing the drums.
Right.
Chris Jansen can play the drums pretty good.
He's really good.
So Chris Jansen sings,
You can buy me, you boat.
And we were playing with him once,
and we know Chris really well.
And Chris was playing with Eddie and I
and the Raging Idiots,
and he was singing a song,
and he hops back on our drummer moves off
and Chris jumps on.
And then Chris starts to play drums
for a different song.
He's like, it'd be fun if I got to play drums again.
But Chris has so much energy.
And he was drinking Mountain Dew.
He's so.
We have a kid's song called When I Grow Up, and he goes like this.
When I grow up, up, up I can be whatever I want.
But Chris is playing drums so fast.
We're going, When I grow up, up, up, it'll be whatever.
We're like, Eddie, like, we can't keep up.
We can't keep up.
That's hilarious.
Yes.
Chris is also a really good drummer.
Oh, sorry, who plays the flute?
Lizzo.
Lizzo.
And that is again, you see Lizzo and you're like, that's crazy.
She got to play like a 200-year-old flute.
Yeah, saw that.
A few weeks ago.
Some government plays, I don't know.
I can stop reading.
It's like Lizzo plays.
George Wynne next story.
Lunchbox.
Husband and wife were out for a little fly in Dallas.
They had a private plane.
They're flying.
They're about two miles from the airport.
Uh-oh.
Engine trouble.
Where are we going to land this thing?
And they go down, take out a power line,
take out a speed limit sign,
and come to a stop on the highway.
No cars.
No one injured.
Isn't it crazy?
First of all, that they land, right?
Landing on that road in the small plane probably
isn't the most difficult thing to do
if everything's wide open. But they're still cars
going. They hit a power line and they hit a stop sign. Those planes aren't big. It's not like a private
jet. It's a small like two-man plane.
And that a car didn't fly and hit them.
Like everybody's on their phone.
Someone wasn't on Instagram and just crashed into the airplane.
Yeah, everybody lived, huh? Yeah, that's what I thought was crazy is they were
able to find a gap in the traffic where they could land without hitting a car.
Here's my story and I found it and I was like, finally.
they say it's possible to build a time machine.
I've been waiting for this forever.
Really?
Well, I don't think one gets built on my lifetime.
I've had these thoughts for a long time
because I think I would come back and tell me.
I'm not much of a lawbreaker.
I'm a big rule breaker, but I'm not a lawbreaker.
I'm a rule breaker.
It's kind of what got me here.
But I'm not a lawbreaker.
That's what kept me out of prison.
Big difference.
Yes.
And so I think I would have,
unless it's the law that I can't go back and tell me,
but I would have sent me some sort of message somehow,
even a note,
laying out of table, I'd be like, I didn't write that.
And it says, yo, it's true.
I'd be like, I know what that means.
What if you just, what if there is one in your lifetime,
but you just didn't have access to it?
I think I would.
Okay.
Give me another 10 years.
I'm having access to everything.
What do you mean?
What does that mean?
Like a space shuttle and stuff?
Yeah.
Just wait and see.
Build more.
Here he goes.
Just wait to see.
Oh, great.
So, this Alex says it's possible to build a time machine,
and he's legit with $100 million bucks.
He's legit.
But he says there's a catch.
and so he's on this time travel
Facebook page
and he says anyone traveling to the past
will be stuck there
because, and this is why I believe him,
he's a self-professed time traveler
from 2671
and he's stuck here right now
and so why wouldn't you believe him
he happened to him?
I mean, it could.
So the stuck here works in his favor
right, hold on, hold on, hold on.
Yes, sir.
I'm so confused
because if you travel back
that time no longer exists
so what do you mean you're stuck there?
No, see, don't get us started.
Am I right, Eddie?
No, don't get me started on different timelines.
Because the people that lived back in the day, they're no longer here.
So where is he going to travel to?
You just can't run into your old self either because then, and again, 2671, he wouldn't be alive before.
But if you went back like 40 years and you saw yourself, then we have trouble in this dimension.
Like him back to the future.
Well, Umbrella Academy.
Oh, same thing.
Yeah, a lot of those.
So anyway, he's legit because he is a time traveler himself and he told us this.
I mean, what if he is?
He's not.
He's not.
Exactly.
Exactly.
So some people said that I was from the future when I was on 25 whistles.
When 10, 11, 12 bets in a row.
Oh, right, right, right.
What if you are and you're just not telling us right now?
There are a couple things.
One, I'm not a time traveler.
And I'm also not in the Illuminati.
Now, if I was, I'd probably be saying the same thing that I'm not.
But that's the biggest rumor on the Internet constantly that I'm in the Illuminati.
I'm not sure about that.
I mean, I still can't decide if you are not.
I don't think I am.
All right, anyway, we're moving on.
Here is Samantha in Tulsa who's on the phone because Lunchbox had his house robbed.
Yes.
Burglarized.
And he was going on and on until we found out, well, it wasn't exactly as he said.
Samantha, what do you want to say to Lunchbox?
So I'm a police officer in Tulsa and every time I hear somebody say robbed or whatever, it drives me insane.
So his pumpkins were actually like a larceny from the dwelling.
They're not even a burglary.
You've been larsed.
So like, a robbery is when someone uses like a gun for some sort of force or fear to get something from you, like your car or your wallet.
And a burglary is when they break into your car, your house, or a business to commit a crime inside.
And then a larceny is when you leave pumpkins or your bike in the front yard and get stolen.
So larceny, you just have a good laugh about it.
So what you're saying is that they could have used a gun.
I just don't know it.
So it could have been a robbery.
They didn't use it.
They could have a gun in their hand just in case I came out.
But it didn't matter.
They didn't do it.
No, that means they have the gun in their hand.
that means a robbery.
But they didn't do it.
They didn't rob you.
They didn't take it at force.
They took it.
Yes, they did.
I mean, those pumpkins were heavy.
So that's forced.
Like,
you know,
uh,
and.
Hey,
Samantha,
do you ever deal with morons?
Um,
I've actually already done that today.
What?
I'm at work right now.
Not that you're a moron,
but this is a moronic thing that you say that you were,
you were robbed because they might have had a gun when they stole your pumpkins.
Yes,
and they used force to take them.
Like,
they weren't just like,
they're so heavy.
Exactly.
Okay.
Samantha, I actually learned something there
So thank you very much for sharing that with us
And hope you have a very safe day
And we appreciate what you do every single day that you work
Thank you guys
All right, see you later
That's pretty cool call, huh?
That's all right
No
No, we did, we learned something
Yeah, and you don't think it's a little bit more on it
You're saying they might have had a gun
Therefore you've been robbed
No
Yeah, it could have been some little kids
What about when you smash pumpkins as a kid
No, no, if they were smashed in the street
I would understand I'd know his kids
Because I drove around the neighborhood
I'll be honest, I went driving by other houses to see if I could see my pumpkins.
Okay, thank you. There we go over and talk to Danielle, who's on the phone.
Hey, Danielle.
Hey.
What's going on?
Well, I was just curious. I'm listening to you guys on my way into work, and I was curious how you felt about lunchbox claiming that he was robbed and probably could have been forceful because pumpkins were heavy.
And they might have had a gun, but you actually were robbed at gunpoint.
I'm just kind of curious, like, how you feel about everything.
Oh, we feel, we're in the same boat.
Like, we feel terrible.
Like, it's a scary feeling.
Now we have something even more we relate to each other.
Oh, y'all got have a support group.
Yes, exactly.
It's good to have someone that knows what I'm going through.
You know, he wasn't robbed.
His pumpkins were stolen from his porch.
So when he came into his house was robbed, I was scared for a second.
My wife was scared for him.
Then we found out it was the pumpkins that he stole that were stolen from him.
That's right.
So, you know, I don't really compare it to my situation.
I don't even think about it.
Yeah, I've been robbed.
I got a pistol whipped.
Gee, that stinks.
That's tough to think about it.
We can talk about it, man.
I have my house burglarized a different time.
Different inside, like busted the window when inside.
Yeah.
So you've had your house.
I've been jumped.
Why don't you throw that in there?
I haven't been jumped.
Almost.
If you'd have walked outside while they were getting your pockets,
that's true, they could have jumped me.
That's right.
That is crazy.
Are you okay?
Should we sit?
But can we get better help on with lunchbox?
It's going to be tough, man.
We need to have some talk about this.
Yeah, yeah.
Hey, Danielle, that's a great point.
I appreciate you thinking about me, and I hope you have an awesome day.
Thank you, y'all too.
All right, see you later.
All right, time for the news.
Bobby's Big.
Stories.
So here's what's going on.
I have these meetings weekly.
I try to do them weekly, and I talk to some people about what these social media apps and sites are doing
and what they're looking for and what they're promoting and what they're not promoting.
and what TikTok is really going to start valuing is lives.
So the people that can get on TikTok and do these lives,
which sometimes if you're scrolling through,
see somebody just sitting there talking.
If you can hold an audience,
TikTok's really going to push those to the front.
Like that's the new thing that they're going,
how can you keep people on TikTok long by doing a live?
Well, now that more people are doing them,
TikTok's got to go, okay, we've got to address this.
We're going to change in our live stream feature
that you can't do a live unless you,
you're 17 years old.
Because you can't have 10-year-olds.
I think this is great.
It hasn't become a problem yet.
And you always like it because these social media giants, apps, platforms,
sometimes they're only reactionary.
But I do like this.
That right now, creators are at least 1,000 followers.
And if you're at least 17 years old,
you can create live streams.
And then they're going to change that from,
any followers to 17 and that eventually is going to turn to 18 as well.
So they're even going to move that up a year.
But they're not going to just go immediately and cut people off.
They're going to almost let the people who are 17 now have enough time they can do it.
So they're not removing it from them because that's already kind of the rule.
And let them be 18 before they shut it down.
But that's going to be the thing.
That's the new thing that's going to get you much followers.
You can get on TikTok and keep people there.
Sometimes I stop.
I'm like, what's this guy talking about?
Oh, time travel.
I think I'll watch.
Powerball jackpot.
$500 million.
We don't win last night, scuba?
Not that much money.
Not that much.
What do we have?
We won $12.
We keep winning more, though, every single time than we ever won with lunchbox.
Even though we're not winning.
We keep losing less.
We have a horse in the race, which gives us more winning to put towards more tickets.
Yeah.
So we, $12.
How much?
Who went in?
This time it was just yourself, me, and lunchbox.
These other fools that they don't understand.
They don't want to be rich.
Hey, here's the thing, guys.
I'm telling you, you can hear my words now.
Something's going to happen.
I mean, something is going to happen.
I'm not saying we're going to win $500 million.
I don't know why I keep putting $20 in the kitty.
Yeah, I don't know why you keep doing that.
Well, I have a $20 bill today.
Something's going to happen.
Hear me now.
You know me.
If I don't think there's something to it, if like I haven't looked at the data,
or if I just have some sort of gut feeling.
But you've always said there's no, this is all luck.
I agree.
It always all luck.
There's no.
No, no.
You missed the second half of us.
You started talking.
when I was saying the second part of that, which was I have a feeling.
Okay.
I got a feeling that tonight's going to be a good night.
Maybe not tonight.
And I don't know if it's this time.
Something's going to happen with this.
Hear me now.
Okay.
Listen, I don't think when I walk up to the roulette will that I have the better odds to win this thing.
But if I go up to the roulette wheel and I'm being pulled there, I'll probably win seven out of ten times.
Yeah, you do.
I've seen that.
So you have some sort of a...
Feeling.
I'm full black apiece right now.
A full black appies.
Which, I mean, I've witnessed it in Vegas.
It's true.
It's unbelievable.
You do have something special.
Yeah.
I'm not in the Illuminati and I'm not from the future.
Stop saying.
I don't think you are.
It is something weird.
And then there's all this Drag Kings football bets.
Oh, it's unbelievable.
No, I know.
It's something.
I could not believe that that happens.
I'm on the, they call it a heater, actually.
They do.
I'm on a year long, I'm on a five-year-long heater.
Okay, well, I'm just saying, you guys stay out.
Lunchbox, Steve?
No, I just say.
I had a $20 bill.
I got a feeling.
Muzzle talk.
That's you right now.
It may not be this one.
It may not be this one.
It'll be something.
I just feel something.
I feel something brewing.
I got a question.
When something that happens?
You got a question.
Are you going to rubbing these people's faces?
Nope.
I hope you guys win.
No, you don't.
Yeah, you don't.
Yeah, I do.
You're not going to win the big one.
I'm not like him, though.
I'm not going, we're going to win.
I just saying something's going to happen.
Okay.
That's all I'm going to say.
Also, from the New York Daily News,
try not sleeping in on Saturday and Sunday.
You will benefit the following week.
Yeah, I can't do that.
Researchers at the University of Arizona said it's what they call social jet lag.
Staying up later, sleeping in on the weekend,
ends up making you more tired than if you just stayed on the same schedule.
So you may have a Saturday, Sunday, like, oh, that feels good today.
But you're going to feel even worse than what felt good.
Now, I lived this when I tore because I just wake up every morning to the show,
and then Friday night up until midnight doing a show.
Saturday night up till midnight doing it.
And I live in social jet lag.
And so it's difficult because you never catch up.
And I finally do.
And then it's like, oh, back out on the road.
But last couple weeks I've been home, it's been pretty nice.
From Newsweek, people on social media are wondering why some Chili's locations limit what customers can tip.
A spokesperson for the Chili says they have limits to protect customers at their pay-at-the-table tablets.
But you're welcome to tip with cash more if you want to.
Because I'll get on that tablet.
button. You put the button,
make the percentage go up.
You can jack the tip up to a certain point and then it stops.
But I guess you can't like tip 500% on the thing.
Got to be honest?
Never tried that.
I was going to say, why would you do that?
I've doubled it before, but I've never tried the, never tried the all the way up.
Here's the thing, I like those machines.
I just wish they would sanitize them in front of you because I got a feeling.
I got a feeling.
They ain't sanitized.
Yeah.
Because everybody's grubby hands are all over them.
Including my own.
But I wish they would sanitize them
because then I play all the time.
They have a little poker, little trivia games.
Oh, I play trivia.
You can take your own wipes.
Yeah, and we have them.
I keep some of my, one of my purses.
Fanny packs.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, fany packs.
But it just depends if I'm,
if I've moved stuff from one purse to the next.
Yeah.
You know what that's like, ladies.
The struggle's real.
Yeah.
So there's that.
The Stockton serial killer suspect is now headed to court.
They caught him.
They think they caught him.
Oh, that's great.
Allegedly they got him.
Yeah, they got a guy.
A suspect.
serial killer in Northern California will be arraigned in court later today.
On Saturday, police arrested 43-year-old Wesley Brownlee,
who they believe is responsible for six deadly shootings that began in 2021
with one death in Oakland last year now connected to the five deaths in Stockton.
According to investigators, many of the attacks in Stockton took place near the suspect's home
or those homes of his relatives,
Brownlee was reportedly armed with a handgun when he was arrested
and police believe he was hunting for more victims.
A close family member who didn't want to be identified said Brownlee,
has worked full-time as a truck driver.
That is from ABC 10.
Thank God they found this dude.
They said that they suspected something about him
because he would just lurk in like parks and like look at people.
You do the little pins in the map and it's like, all right, what's that happened near that house?
Well, another one happened near that guy.
Hey, who lives in that house?
Him?
Yeah.
And then, oh, there's another one who lives there.
His cousin.
You know.
Makes sense.
So they even said, we think we have, remember they had all these people that had died and they're like,
we think we have it.
We're investigating it right now.
So thank God.
I mean, the guy had a gun looking to kill more people.
I wonder what happened.
I wonder what happened.
Yeah, like why?
Like what made him doing?
Yeah, like what was this?
Because he wasn't doing, it doesn't seem like he's done his whole life.
So if it started last year, like what happened?
Yeah.
Hearing aids are now available over the counter for the first time from CBS News.
For the first time ever hearing it.
What?
Why?
Why were they not, though?
That's weird.
It's not like a drug.
It's due to a new FDA rule that went into effect on Monday,
allowing adults to buy hearing aids without a,
a prescription or medical exam.
The change is also expected to dramatically reduce the cost of hearing aids by as much as
$3,000 per pair.
That's great.
I mean, I think to answer Eddie's question, that's why.
Like, there was, I don't know the right word for it, but like a monopoly on it.
Like, they were trying to control it.
And they didn't want it to be easy for people to get it.
So, my thought is, I just got my hearing test.
Pass flying colors.
But if I also wear a hearing aid, I have a superpower.
You're like a dog.
You can, like, listen in on it.
Also,
somebody blows that whistle, the dog whistle,
and I'm like,
what the?
Who is that?
But it can be very painful.
If you have it turned up high and, like, there's some loud noises,
it can be like, oh, that's too much.
What happens to my ears that I wear during this show.
I don't wear headphones.
I wear the inner ears.
And I think I'm going to go get me a pair.
Really, what if you have a good hearing and you also wear these?
Do you have super hearing?
I don't think it works that way.
Why not?
Tell me, explain it to me then.
If you think it does it.
I think Amy just explained it.
It would be too loud for you.
Yes.
And it would be painful.
Like our talking would be like,
Ow, oh, hey, stop yelling.
We're not yelling, bones.
I'm going to try it.
But I guess if we were whispering, you could maybe.
Well, is an all-time whisper rule around here?
That sounds good.
But I'm going to say if you keep it down low, I don't think it's only volume.
Because there are some frequencies when you lose your hearing, high-end, low-end, as I've been told by my, when we went to this thing, maybe it helps that.
It doesn't blast all sound.
Oh, good point.
So I'm going to go, I don't know how much they are, but if they're relatively an example,
expensive. I'm going to try to have a superpower.
All right. You heard it here first.
Pun intended.
These emojis make you look old.
Thumbs up. No, I do that all the time.
Yeah, I don't do thumbs up. Oh, well, I do the tap tap.
That doesn't count. Oh, okay, good.
That's not an emoji. Yeah, that's not an emoji. That's a reaction.
Also, they need a tap, tap, thank you.
Yes. What would that look like?
T. Y? Or just say thank you.
The problem is it's in English. The reason they don't do some emojis that are specific to regions is because of language.
Got it. So you couldn't do TY because some countries.
don't have Ti-Y.
Well, they do.
But we need a universally.
Ha-ha's right.
But ha-ha and J-A-J-A-J-A.
J-J-J-A.
J-J-J-A.
I think ha-ha's pretty universal, though.
Pretty.
People can figure it out.
What about the fist bump?
That's like, thank you.
Okay, let me read you off the other old-man ones.
Oh, boy.
The Red Loveheart.
Never use it.
That's like love.
Why's that old?
That's not old?
It's cool.
The okay hand.
We need to bring in Lauren.
She's now, she's like 25.
She works on the show now.
You should probably think we're all old as crap for even debating this.
Yeah.
I like that one.
It's like the three fingers up.
Yeah.
Okay.
Pooh.
Not Winnie.
I don't use that.
Yeah.
Loudly crying face.
Monkey eye cover.
I don't do any of these.
I do all of them.
It's the only way Eddie communicates.
Like every single one.
Clapping hands.
Lipstick kiss mark.
Nope.
And Gremsen face.
Well, I'm still as cool as the day I was born.
Look at you.
I don't use these.
You want to know the ones I use the most?
Yes.
Maybe Caitlin keeps you fresh.
She does, for sure.
That's how I know music.
Yeah.
All that.
Okay, here we go.
Okay, my most used emojis are.
Fist.
Okay, fist pump.
Mm-hmm.
Dark room glasses.
That's you.
The check.
Done?
Like.
If you click okay, it also does that green box with a check in it.
Yeah.
The 100, the red 100 with the lines underneath it.
The, well, if you type boar.
B-O-A-R, it's a pig.
Raise your back?
Oh, you do that one a lot?
Yeah, all the time.
I sign every text with that.
Oh, boy.
It doesn't matter what it's about.
And then the crying, laughing, and then the fish.
I do the fish all the time.
Why?
Well, I'm glad you asked, because in my Madden League, people cheat.
And anytime something comes up and cheat, we put the fishy emoji up there.
Like, let's see it's fishy.
We use it all time.
We have a Madden game thread.
How do you cheat?
I don't.
Oh, who knows?
People love to some stuff.
They figure a way to cheat.
Yeah, they cheat.
You ought to see these guys.
guys. That's all. Well, I probably won't ever see them. Yeah, you probably won't have.
Those were Bobby's Big. Stories.
Really want to recommend these body suits that I put Stanley the Bulldog in. If you go over to my
Instagram and go to my story, you'll see him laying in it at the house. He's laying in an elder
or other dog is next to him. But it's annoying because I've got to take it off of him so I can use
the bathroom. There's a zip, but he pees all over it. Zipped. So I got to like take it off
his back legs and move it up. But he had surgery. And
it's a tight body suit.
Oh yeah, it's way tighter than I thought.
Yeah, yeah.
It's hilarious.
Yeah.
Because he looks like, what did your, your wife do a side by side with Kim Kay?
Yeah.
Well, it's like our personal friends.
Hilarious.
This is posed a lot.
But she did a green one that was like Kim Kardashian's wearing a body suit, same color.
Stanley looked just like her.
It was funny.
But you can go to my Instagram, Mr. Bobby Bones.
And you can see, but if your dog has surgery or sheds a lot, either way, and you don't want him to shed for a minute,
I don't even know the brand of the suit.
so it's not me saying buy one,
but it's great, and it's like stretchy,
and we can let him sleep without the thing on his head
because he can't get to the wound to, like, lick it
because he's wearing a body suit over.
It's pretty crazy.
So Mr. Bobby Bones is my Instagram.
I put it up.
I think you can see the name of the bodysuit on his back,
but it's up there if you want to go see it in my story.
Okay, now it's time for the Bobby feud.
Come on.
The problem with that is I got to get up in the morning,
so I get up and I got to take him to the bathroom,
and it's just a process.
All right, buddy, I'm going to take this off your legs.
I've got to try to peel it.
Oh, that's time.
tight. It's like taking tight jeans off.
You should cut a hole like a little slip for his, where he pees.
No, no, it has a hole. You can unzip, which I said, but he pees all over it.
Oh, sorry. Even then. So I got to, like, take it and flip it all the way over, like his head,
then tuck it in his neck. Gotcha. It's a whole situation. A lot of work. Yeah. It's like
Riba doing wardrobe changes. You know, you got to be quick, precise. This stuff's expensive.
All right. That being said, let's do the feud. Here we go, in honor of Halloween month,
2,000 Americans were asked, what do you fear the most?
Over on the phone is Casey who lives in Minnesota
Bring Casey on
Hey Casey you can pick a player here
Who would you like to represent you and win you a prize?
Amy, lunchbox or Eddie?
I think I'm gonna go with Eddie today
Okay, let's spin the wheel
The person that will be going first, three, Eddie, your third?
Okay, you got it
Number was three on the dice
You get to go first, name the top ten things Americans are afraid of, let's go.
Let's go with snakes
Show me snakes
Number one answer
Because it was the easiest, you get one point for that one.
I think Americans are afraid of the dark.
So let's go with the dark.
Interesting.
Pretty good, right?
Do you guys feel like the dark's on the list?
It could be.
I didn't like that.
There you go.
Amy's American.
2,000 Americans were asked, what do you fear the most?
Eddie says the dark.
10.
The suspense.
Big points there.
Let's see here.
Oh, I got it.
Let's go with spiders.
Jomey spiders.
spiders and insects coming in at number two
all right this is where it gets tricky
I'm scared of him
so give me intruders
they are terrified of intruders
especially if they're trying to steal your
pumpkins
show me burglars or intruders
what number seven
okay is where it gets tricky
you just said that last time you just got the trick
okay I got it
I got it flying
they are afraid of
flying. I hate flying. I know you do.
Hate it. Show me flying.
Boom!
Oh, la la, la, la, la,
I got it.
Winner, winner, winner, um...
Let's go with Americans
are afraid of getting sick.
You can put COVID in there, too.
COVID would be sick.
Yeah.
Any disease. It's just afraid of getting sick.
Flu. Show me any of that.
Oh, damn.
Oh, take. You have a disease.
Thank you for letting us play.
Plenty of points up on the board, though, to win the game.
Amy?
Heights.
Oh, good.
Heights.
That's good, Amy.
Okay, well, that's about all I got left.
What was that?
Okay, love.
Show me love.
Lunchbox.
Yeah.
You're up.
You're ready?
You don't want to repeat the question?
Okay.
Death.
Good one.
Incorrect.
Just kidding.
What?
Down goes Frasia.
Wow.
Eddie.
Americans are afraid of getting fired.
Losing their job.
Losing their job.
Yeah, yeah.
Show me that.
We go around three times, Amy, it's the second round.
And the third round points are doubled.
Oh, that's why I'm going to wait until the third round to get them right.
Kids.
Incorrect.
Lunch bikes.
Woof, roof.
Dogs.
Show me dogs.
Correct.
What?
I don't understand.
Third round points are doubled.
This is final round, Eddie.
You're in the lead, but you can easily be caught here.
I mean, I'm out of animals, so I'm not going to pick any more animals.
Let's go with.
They're afraid of getting sued.
Litigation.
That's it.
Show me litigation.
No, no.
There's three answers left on the board.
We have snakes, spiders, insects, heights, flying.
I don't know why this.
Burglars and intruders in the dark.
There's four answers left.
I saw that there's one that I'm marked off accidentally.
Four answer left, yeah.
Okay.
Americans are scared of what?
I was going to get specific, but I'm going to just to say more general.
And this is not me, but I think a lot of people might be scared of birds.
Or like bats or crows or pigeons.
Birds is your answer.
Yeah.
Points are doubled.
Show me.
Birds!
Aw.
Amy, you've been eliminated.
Now, lunchbox on the board now, there are still.
I mean, there's still like 40 points available since it's doubled.
You could win this thing.
You just got to get a few.
Come on, man.
Yeah, man.
I got a few on here that I have no idea.
Talk it out.
Just talk it out.
You don't have to commit to them.
I'm curious.
Which is.
I mean, a lot of people are scared of commitment.
That's one.
What do you fear the most?
2,000 Americans were asked.
What do you fear the most?
Okay.
And, I mean, death wasn't on there, so I'm so confused about that.
Sharks is another one.
I mean, people are terrified of sharks.
And, you know, some people say,
I ain't afraid of no ghosts.
Ghostbusters, but they really are scared of ghosts.
I'll say this.
One of those three, for sure, is on the list.
Yeah, I know.
Gosh.
Maybe two of the three, maybe three either for sure.
I bet you it's commitment.
For sure, I'll go without one.
I said love already, remember?
I know, but I don't know.
Eddie was scared of commitment.
His wife had to tell him, yeah, you weren't going to ever get married.
I'm going to go sharks.
I don't know.
Sharks, because I'm,
terrified of sharks.
They even have a whole week.
Yeah, and people are
just on how curious
and how scared people are of sharks.
It's called shark weight.
Yeah, but if this ain't on the list, I don't understand
because death should be number one.
Show me
sharks.
Oh, I thought that was it.
It was ghosts. Also on the list.
Ghosts.
Scary movies.
Oh, yeah.
And mice.
Mice.
Oh, yeah.
You can see a mouse?
People are scared of mice?
Yes.
It's the most cliche thing to be scared of forever.
Ah, jump up in a chair.
They're cute.
No, their tails are males.
There you go.
That was so great.
Hey.
You win.
Yeah.
Not only did you win.
Casey wins.
Casey, congratulations.
Hey, is it really cold up there?
Because I'm going to tell you, I woke up this morning.
And I was like, it's cold.
Way to turn the heat on.
I didn't like it.
You're in a place where it's cold way more than here.
Is it cold?
It's freezing, yeah.
Yeah.
I mean, it's not.
nearly what it's going to get, but it's about 23 right now.
Do you ever just want to leave your old life behind and go somewhere warmer?
You know, I've thought about it, but my roots are here.
I'm never leaving.
I hear you, but it's cold.
I know, that hurts.
Yeah, that's tough.
But you just had to bundle up.
Yeah, I don't like that.
You're never warm enough when you bundle up.
Would you rather be really hot or really cold?
Because I'd rather be really hot.
Really hot.
Cold, I'll bundle up.
Oh.
No, you can't do anything when you have that much clothes on.
Would you rather temperature outside would be 110 or
negative five.
110. 110.
Negative five.
I think you should go stay with Casey.
Maybe I will.
Hey Casey, we got you a $50.
Sonic gift card. Thank you very much for
playing this morning. Eddie, congratulations.
Thank you. Thank you.
All right, there she is, Casey, everybody.
All right, we'll be back in a second. When we come back,
we've got to go over Amy's
scary movie that she has to go watch.
What they say is it's so scary
people are passing out in the theater. Or it's so
gory and gross, people are passing out the theater.
And it's two and a half hours long.
Yes, we have some.
new, there's some updates to the story. We'll get to that next.

And I want to go to Jared who watched Terrifier One last night.
Hey, not Terrifier, too, do you have to watch, Amy?
But Jared, you saw Terifier One?
Yes, sir, I did.
Good morning, studio.
Morning.
Morning.
What did you think about this?
Well, I'm a huge scary movie buff, and I didn't know anything about these movies
until y'all are talking about people passing out in the theater.
So I was like, well, I need to go watch them then to see what it's about.
So it's extremely gory.
What they say is true.
I would say I wouldn't recommend taking your kids to Terrifier 2.
If it's anything like Terrifier 1, there is also nudity in the movie, so I wouldn't recommend that either.
It's going to be kind of like Terrifier 1.
I'll be honest with you. It's a Terrifier, too.
So, yeah, yeah, yeah.
So you don't recommend it for Amy to take her daughter.
No, absolutely.
I don't have kids, but I do work at a group home for kids.
I wouldn't take none of them.
Did you get scared?
Did you like it?
The Terrifire one was more on the low-budget sci-fi kind of, in a sense.
But it shows everything.
I mean, it's gory as it can be.
It's more blood than I've ever seen in any movie ever.
Wow.
So if you're new to the show, Amy, lost the wheel.
I paid everybody to get on the wheel.
And you didn't have to get on,
but everybody wanted to take that free check, you know?
Yeah.
Thinking that they wouldn't lose, and most of you didn't lose.
And Amy lost.
I lost, yeah.
So she collected the check,
and then she let the wheel spin.
She had some good laughs.
Until the end, when she was the one that was left,
and she had to go watch Terrify or two in a theater,
the movie that's making people pass out
because it's so scary or because it's so gory.
the executive producer and the director
were on our Facebook page commenting going
Ha ha ha ha.
Oh.
That's so funny.
Really?
Yeah.
So I want to play a couple things here
because you have until Halloween to go watch it.
I know.
Here are some voicemails from listeners.
This is Terry and Clear Water, Florida.
Hey, I know that you guys were talking about
Terror Fire 2 movie that Amy's going to have to watch.
And I thought, well, hey, wonder if there's a Terrifire 1
that's not there to watch.
So I watched it tonight on Amazon.
Oh my God.
If the Terrifier 1 is like this, I hate to see what Terrifier 2 is like.
There was a couple scenes where, and I'm pretty good with thrillers and gory stuff,
but there was a scene I couldn't even look.
I don't know.
Okay, just want to let you guys know.
Thank you, Terry.
That's nice of you.
Here's Samantha in Illinois.
I am crying, laughing from the spin the real.
segment when Amy got landed on.
And the best part for asking about if she could bring her daughter,
Amy, no, I'm not responsible for that child being traumatized.
I love it.
It's in the wheel.
It is so funny.
Thanks, guys.
So, right now, because I'm going to read you stuff about Terrifier 2,
are you thinking of taking your daughter?
She's asking to go.
We pulled up the preview together about it or whatever.
I don't know.
We were watching some stuff.
And she loves horror films.
That's her favorite genre of anything.
And so I thought, well, you know, I've let her watch stuff that other people probably think is inappropriate.
Would I be a horrible mom if I took her to this?
And it sounds like it.
I said, yeah, under my brother.
But the answer is yes.
Yeah.
So I went to a site called Common Sense Media.
Yeah, I use that one often.
You do?
Yeah.
Here's what they say about Terrifier 2.
Intensely gory.
But surprisingly thoughtful slasher sequel.
Oh, that's cool.
Parents need to know the Terrifier 2 is a sequel to a 2016 horror movie about a vicious evil killer clown.
Oh, God.
This one is longer and smarter than its predecessor and has stronger characters, but it's extraordinarily, relentlessly gory.
Faces and bodies are slashed, mutilated, defiled in various ways, and reduced to bloody pulp.
Characters are shot and killed, body parts are ripped off, torn out, or mangled.
Various weapons are used.
It's ultra-gory, highly.
disturbing nightmare sequences and much much more language is strong there's a brief glimpse of a man's
naked bottom and the side of him's boob but there's not a lot of like crazy nudity apparently okay
at a Halloween party teens drink take molly smoke cigarettes and snort cocaine so they're letting you
know the drug usage there conversation starter let's not do drugs I love how you look at it wow
yeah yeah consensus is it's a hard pass for the kids hard pass I don't know it's still
considering. Amy, I wonder if you need to watch Terrifier 1
first so you know what's going on. No, I know.
I don't. Nope, dip, tip, dip, dip. Yeah.
Give her more of a base. No. You're going to be totally lost.
No. No. A.
Yeah. How would you?
No, that wasn't part of the... Would you ever watch Rocky 2 without watching
Rocky? No.
No. You didn't even know. Yes, I watched Rocky 4 without seeing one, two or three.
Okay. Well, where do you sit on this? Because today's the 18th.
You mean, like, when am I going to go? Who are you going to take? Are you
taking anybody? What's theater?
My D said he'd go with me.
and then we talked about his wife
maybe taking my kids to see another movie
or my daughter to kind of...
Okay, but he can't sit with you.
Why? I have to sit alone.
You have to be terrified.
Yeah.
It sounds like I will be.
Horror films are not my favorite genre.
Like, at all.
I don't like to be scared.
I don't want scary movies.
I need to be able to sleep.
Like, I have a minimal sleep these days.
My son isn't sleeping well.
I...
Ugh!
Like, I just feel like this is gonna...
You're like getting that check, though, didn't you?
me over. It was $10. I just did it for fun.
Hey, you're like, I'll take that free money.
Yeah.
Didn't you? Yeah. Yeah. Sometimes
the bill man comes.
I just feel like I don't know if I'm in a good space to watch this, but I'm going to do it.
And I don't know when I don't know when.
I mean, $100.5 hours, which means I have to get there. It's like a three-hour commitment.
And there's only 12 days left of the month.
Yeah, it's going to be tough.
Sure like that check, though.
Also, what are the rules?
What are the rules?
So I can go with Mike D, but he can't sit by me?
Yeah.
Different parts of the theater.
Can I go during the daytime?
Yeah.
Okay.
Do we know where it is even showing?
Yeah, I couldn't find it at a normal place.
Yeah, Mike, can you pull up where it's showing?
We saw it like eight different theaters.
Really?
Yeah, one of them, this guy has been showing in his backyard.
You have to go down through his attic.
That would be cool.
Yeah, right.
Regal Hollywood, 425 is a daytime.
I don't know that address.
on Thompson.
You want to exactly.
Oh, it's right down the road.
It's a major theater right by the Home Depot.
There's one in Smyrna, the Malko.
I'm not.
You don't want to drive to Smyrna.
That's not that far.
There's an AMC.
Dynne in in Franklin.
2 o'clock.
They got that.
That's a good one.
Can they leave the lights on?
You can ask him when you get there.
I don't think so, but.
I don't want to be in a dark theater.
I need it to feel like daytime.
They're all dark.
Can you imagine, though, you go to a scary movie.
You're like, hey, could you leave the lights on and get the volume low?
And anytime it's going to like jump,
give me a five second warning so I can look down.
No, yeah, yeah.
That's...
Terrifier 2.
You have until the 31st.
We cannot wait for the review.
If I make it out.
You think it's going to kill you in it?
Well, you said people are passing out.
Well, you'll make it out if you pass out.
They'll just take you out on a stretcher.
I guess if I pass out...
And Mike will be there to put on TikTok.
Yeah.
If he sees it, okay, well,
so you're not taking your daughter.
Are you committed to that now?
I mean, it doesn't sound like that's a good idea.
I mean, and if I wasn't
going to get shamed by other people,
I might, but...
Here's the thing.
Don't worry about other people.
I get shamed for everything I do all the time.
I just do it and expect the shame to come.
I don't remember my decision is based on the shame of other folks.
Yeah.
Well, at this, when I would shame.
When it comes to parenting, yes.
For sure. On this one.
And at the end of the day, it's probably not a good idea.
Even though I don't think she would be scared by it.
She'd probably laugh at it.
Yeah.
Keep that open. Keep that open.
Should she take her daughter yes or no?
Eddie.
No, not at all.
Not a chance.
All right.
Okay.
All right, terrifier too.
Amy has until the 31st to watch it.
Thank you, guys.
Lobby Bone Show.
Bonehead.
This story comes us from Wichita, Kansas.
A 30-year-old man was looking for a ride when he saw a semi pulling out of the yard.
It was 12.30 a.m., so he jumped on the back.
And he rode the thing for 130 miles until someone called police seeing him cling to the back of the truck.
That's like you'd see on the old shows in the 60s where these guys with the stick.
checking the bag on it would jump on a train, travel across America?
The hobos.
Yeah, I don't know if that's the word anymore, though.
Back then, okay, okay.
But I don't think you can even go back then.
Yeah, you could do that.
A lot of things can't say, you know?
I'm not even sure anymore.
I don't even know what that means.
Daily, I'm dodging landmines of getting canceled just on the rag anyway.
So I'm not sure about that word.
Well, if I get canceled for saying that word, I'm sorry.
It's good knowing you, buddy.
All right.
So he didn't die, though.
He just rode the whole time.
For two hours, 130 miles.
He got arrested for joy riding and public and toxic.
That doesn't seem very joyous for that long.
It seems like your hands would be tired.
All right, lunchbox.
I'm lunchbox.
That's your bonehead story of the day.
I've been fasting since midnight last night because I have to give blood today multiple times.
I have a physical and some checks on some stuff.
And I kind of know my doctor a little bit now.
It's kind of the point where we've been together long enough that I have his cell phone number.
I don't know if that's normal because it didn't used to be.
Well, because we didn't have cell phones.
I text them.
I said, hey, how long am I supposed to fast?
And he goes, midnight.
I say, that's tough because I got to entertain America.
Yeah.
He goes, what do you mean?
He doesn't really understand what I do.
He's like my kids.
Yeah, he kind of understands.
He knows that I do something and it's funny and I pay the bills by being funny.
But he doesn't quite understand just kind of how big the show is.
And so I'm like, hey, I got to be on for five hours tomorrow.
He's like, wow, what are you doing tomorrow?
I forgot. He has no idea what I'm doing.
And so I said, is there any way?
I know I'm supposed to be fasting.
I can eat anything.
My breakfast would be really early because it's like 4 o'clock in the morning.
And he's like, okay, have half a smoothie, but no more.
So I woke up this morning and I forgot for a minute.
And I made some oats.
That beats a little cup of oats and you can make oatmeal and put hot water in there and put
in microwave.
Or you can make overnight oats and put almond milk in at the night before and just let it sit
all night.
you eat it, right? It takes 15 seconds. And so I made it forgetting I wasn't fasting.
And then I texted with them. And this morning, I woke up and got it took about two big bites.
And I was like, oh, God. I felt like I'd been caught like rob in a store. I was like, oh, I got to put my hands up.
Oh, no, oh no, oh no. And so I had the second bite and then maybe one more. And then I put it back in the fridge.
Maybe one more. I can't remember it was way early in the morning. And so, but I can only drink water,
which I like to have water and put some different little supplements. And I can't do any of that.
But today, I'm going to go.
And if I come back and I'm some sort of superhero,
that's probably because I had three bites of overnight oats.
But I'm hoping that all the stuff checks out, have that.
I think I have like four different blood tests,
which means they take more blood, not different.
Like, they stick it in there once.
Yeah, just more tubes.
And they just take out more tubes.
It's all the same blood.
Yeah.
Yeah, and they do different ship at different places, you know.
But that's what's happening today with me.
So wish me luck.
Hopefully I don't die.
Good luck, man.
Thank you very much.
Well, I want to announce a little something cool happening
over on the Bobbycast podcast feed.
There is a new show called The Bobbycast Presents Unsigned and Independent.
It's a new series that is starting today with Kevin.
He's Kevin O'Connell, also known as Kickoff Kevin.
It is a six-episode season that features unsigned and independent artists and bands in Nashville.
Kevin goes to a lot of shows.
He went to a show last night at like 11.
I saw it last night.
He went to watch Old Dominion.
Whoa.
And I was like, what do you do?
We have to work.
But he does it all the time.
He's a big music guy.
He's young, too.
He's in everything.
Yeah, he's young and tattooed.
It's got to be cool.
So check it out. Each episode is a new artist journey and the grind that musicians go through trying to make it in the country music industry. So check out the Bobbycast, unsigned and independent. That is up now with Kevin O'Connell, aka kickoff Kevin. All right, thank you very much. Have a great day. We'll see you tomorrow. Bye, everybody.
