Starting point is 00:00:56 Two more men who'd been through the same thing. Greg Gillespie and Michael Marantini. My mind was blown. I'm Stephanie Young. This is Love Trapped. Starting point is 00:01:18 When a group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist, they take matters into their own hands. I vowed. I will be his last. target. He is not going to get away with this. He's going to get what he deserves. We always say that trust your girlfriends. Listen to the girlfriends. Trust me, babe. On the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. What's happening? Welcome to Tuesday's show. Morning, studio. Morning. A lot of people ready to talk to us this morning. Jason is on the phone from Alabama. Jason, what's
Starting point is 00:02:10 going on, buddy? Good morning, Bobby. Good morning, studio. Morning. I understand that I married an amazing woman. My wife is next to none. But I have learned in my life and in my 12 years of marriage that whenever it comes to gift on Valentine's Day, I don't get her anything. And the reason I don't get her anything is because if I'm only getting her something on Valentine's Day
Starting point is 00:02:32 to show her how much I love her on February 14th, only I'm not a great husband. I get her stuff all throughout the year just to let her know how much I love her, let her that she's adored every day. 365, 24-7. I mean, that sounds great in theory, but I get Caitlin's stuff, too, but I also use Valentine's Day as a day to go, hey, this day is just an acknowledgement, like a pure acknowledgement of not every day, but let me do something I don't normally do.
Starting point is 00:02:56 Right, so that's my question. Like, he literally does nothing. You do nothing? Well, he loves her awful hard the other 365 days. I don't do nothing. Her growing up, her mother's birthday is Valentine's Day. So he grew up with that being her month's birthday. And, of course, I don't want to be the guy, the one guy on the planet that doesn't do something special for his life on Valentine's Day. So I do something just because I don't want to be that guy. But again, I guess my point is that I've learned if that's the only day that I'm doing something special for her on a day where everybody else is too, then it's not really that special, I guess. That's just how we look at it.
Starting point is 00:03:37 Here's what I learned. I'm going to do something special throughout the year, and I'm also going to do something special on Valentine's Day. Because everybody else says, and I don't want her to be the one person who's not getting that. You know? For years, though, like, even when you were just single and not, you all would always throw out to guys, like, hey, hit her with the flowers at work. A 13th.
Starting point is 00:03:57 Yeah, the day before and really surprised her. Yeah, because that would get her. Because she's probably expecting something on the 14th. But you can't not do it just because everybody all says. That's even worse. If everybody else is getting something, she doesn't? I understand your point, Jason. I appreciate you, Colin.
Starting point is 00:04:13 And listen, we all aspire to be as giving the other 364 days. Man, that guy does it every day. Every day. All right, Jason, have a good day, bud. Yeah, I'll see you later. Christina in Texas is on the phone. Christina, what's going on? I wanted to reach out to y'all and tell you all a funny story from my son filming as an extra in 1883.
Starting point is 00:04:34 Ooh, okay. Hey, where did he shoot that? What state was he in? It was in Guthrie, Texas at the 4-6s ranch. Oh, they shot it there at the 4-6s ranch? Yes, they did. Okay, that's pretty cool. All right, go ahead.
Starting point is 00:04:46 So, you know, I started watching Yellowstone in 1883 from watching y'all or listening to y'all show. And so there were about three or four boys that, you know, hung out the whole time. And they didn't really know who Tim McGrawl or Fay Hill really were. So us as moms, you know, the moms had to go as guardians and keep an eye on them. And so we kept pointing them out like, okay, they're. Tim McGraw, there's Faith Hill, like make sure you're cool. Don't do anything that you're not supposed to. And by the end of the week, they were all so excited that they got, you know, to spend a week with him. And they just felt like, oh, that's cool, that's Tim McGraw, that's Faith Hill. And so we all started leaving after we wrap that night at the end of the week.
Starting point is 00:05:25 And Tim McGraw on Faith Hill start walking off the set. And they're holding hands in one of the boys looks at my son. And he goes, he puts his hand over his mouth. And the eyes are real big. And he goes, Oh my gosh, are they dating in real life? The kids think that they're having a secret affair on set. Like, dang, all the actors do hook up with each other. Yes. So then they were just like, you know, they all thought they had this huge secret and you would have, you would have thought they were going to sell this story to TAMV or something.
Starting point is 00:05:59 It was really fun. That's funny. Well, thank you for sharing that with us. And pretty cool they still hold hands when there's, you know, not a camera doing an interview. you. Yeah, that is walking. Well, thank you, Christina. Thank you for the story and hope you have an awesome morning. Y'all too. All right, bye-bye. Let's do one more. This is Chloe in Oklahoma City, who's on the phone. Bobby, that you were saying that you didn't really have role models for parents. And I wanted to say you did have role modeling. It just wasn't the pretty perfect role modeling. It was just what not to do.
Starting point is 00:06:32 Well, I didn't only have a dad. I mean, so you know not to do that. So I know. So I know not to have not to see. I understand your point meaning I just do the opposite of everything I was shown but
Starting point is 00:06:42 but I don't I didn't have two parents that were just doing bad things I kind of had a dad who wasn't there and a mom who was there sporadically so I mean I guess
Starting point is 00:06:53 just be there yeah would be what I but I understand your point I don't completely vibe with it but I get what you're saying and people were like
Starting point is 00:07:01 well you learned what not to do so just do everything the opposite feels like George Stanza on Seinfeld where he went against everything that he thought. He just ran the eye. So listen, I get it. And I appreciate that call. And okay.
Starting point is 00:07:13 Okay. That doesn't settle me for my nervousness at eventually being a parent, but I do understand your sentiment. I also wanted to say, I personally with my life experience, it was H.E. Double Hockey sticks. What I learned from being a parent is you learn along the way. There's no book on it. There's a lot of books. There's a lot of books. I've seen them for sale. Like a ton of books. Yeah, they're a tool. But she's right. You will learn as you go.
Starting point is 00:07:43 Like, I can test that. I'm sure every parent in this room would say, like they're very different type of parent from day one to now. Well, I believe that, and follow me on this, life's a day and you learn as you go. Yeah. Sometimes you lead and sometimes you follow. The thing is, don't worry about what you don't know.
Starting point is 00:08:01 Why? Well, I told you, life's a dance, you learn as you go. Oh, okay. Steep. That's good, man. Thank you, Chloe. Let's end on a positive little note here. This is voicemail number one that we got late last night.
Starting point is 00:08:12 Here you go. Good morning, guys. I just wanted to say, freaking love the show. Continue doing what you guys are doing. I love the morning corny's. They're super duper funny. I got a good one. Why didn't the toilet paper cross the road?
Starting point is 00:08:28 Because he was stuck in a crack. All right, guys. Have a good day. All right, let's go over and open up the mailbag. email and we read it on the air. It's something we call Bobby's Mailbag. Yeah. Hello, Bobby Bones. Earlier this month, my wife and I went to a new restaurant. Our waiter and the food, both fantastic. I tip my waiter what I thought was 20 bucks. Fast forward to last week when my credit card bill was due, I saw I had accidentally tip $200 instead of 20. I was frantic and began searching for the receipt. I was
Starting point is 00:09:07 able to find it in my jacket pocket. And sure enough, there it was, I accidentally tip 200 instead of 20. Maybe the beers I had during dinner made me add an extra zero. But anyway, it's been a couple weeks. Am I out the 200 bucks? Do you think I should call and explain what happened and try to have them correct my tip from 220? Or if I do, do you think the server will lose out on the tip? Thanks, William. Boy, that's drastic. Well, yeah, the server will lose out on it. Yeah. This is what I would say. If the mess up is keeping you from paying a bill, you can probably call the restaurant and have them hopefully help you fix it. If you're fine and that was just money that you were going to spend on playing golf, Starbucks, things that are not a necessity, I think you just eat it.
Starting point is 00:09:58 I think if you would have caught it a day after, you could have called back no problem. But this waiter has probably already spent the money. Yeah, I mean, I think that, yeah, you just have to learn from this. Next time you have a few beers, you'll be a little more careful. If this is imperative to your day-to-day life, paying the bills, keeping the lights on, you got to make a call to the restaurant. If it is not, you learned a valuable lesson, a $180 lesson. But it's up to you.
Starting point is 00:10:29 If you're asking the question, I'm thinking that... He wants it back. I'm thinking that it's not that he must have it back to pay the bills or feed the kids. What does the restaurant do here? Do you think they'll give it back and be asked? I think it depends on the management in the restaurant. I think probably they give it back, but I think who gives it back is where maybe the restaurant just goes, here, we're going to pay this and they don't go back to the waiter.
Starting point is 00:10:52 That's a possibility, but it's not a probability. Yeah, I mean, there has to be a lot of bars and restaurants that have dealt with this and maybe not even $200. We could be talking like thousands of people just drinking too much and being like, what up and then the next day they're like, oh my goodness. And if it were the next day, I would say, just go get your money back because it's understandable. And the person hasn't spent the money yet. So this is my final verdict here.
Starting point is 00:11:16 If you can lose the money and not be subject to a creditor calling going, hey, why don't you pay this bill? Then just lose, you lost the money. If you can't call and they'll figure it out. But that's what I say. Poor waiter, if you got a call back. Oh, I know. That waiter is, this probably a tell me something good somewhere where someone's like, Wow, a nice man left $180 extra tip.
Starting point is 00:11:39 William, I think you just lost the money, buddy. That's what I think. And if you have to ask, you probably have to leave him the money. All right, William, thanks for the email, buddy. There you go. We got your email and we read it on your air. Now it's about to close Bobby's mailback. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:58 Let's go over and talk to Jim in Bakersfield, who was on the phone. Hey, Jim, what's happening? Hey, so I was listening to the storyline about the tip, and I think in this case, he's out. He waited too long. Years ago, for my mom and dad's 60th wedding anniversary, there was probably with relatives and family, probably about 45 of us, we left the staff about a $3,500 tip. Within probably an hour after we got home, they had called us, the restaurant called it, and said, hey, you know, did you mean to do this?
Starting point is 00:12:35 And we said, yes, we did. So I think in this instance, you know, if the restaurant had called, that'd be one thing, but he's out the money. That person probably already spent it. Yeah, I think the fact that it took two weeks to notice and that he's emailing us, he's probably going to be okay without it. Yeah. Otherwise, I do think if they're going to shut your water off,
Starting point is 00:12:56 you can probably call the restaurant and say it was an accident, but that's probably not what's happening here. But even then that you still might not get it back. I know. I know. Hey, thanks for the call, Jim. Appreciate that. In the next segment, boy, do I have some stuff to talk about. Boy, hey, boy, do I have some stuff to talk about.
Starting point is 00:13:12 I do want to talk about something that they make for women that now they're making for men. And I just want to know if any men on the show would like to have this. Okay. Some of the men on the show may really like to have it. It's only known for women for the most part. I mean, I guess I can never think of a being for a man. But we'll talk about that. And then also what Elon Musk is doing that could seem dangerous or amazing.
Starting point is 00:13:40 One of the two. Pick your poison. We'll do those two things next. A company that does lingerie for women is doing a lace underwear for men. Amy? I don't really know if I have words. I don't know what, who is this for? Men.
Starting point is 00:13:56 Men. So men would say sometimes. The lingerie, I mean, the lingerie can be for the woman or the man. Like, it can make you feel a certain way and confident and all the things. I never feel certain ways or confident. Is there something I can wear that makes me feel certain ways and confident? Maybe this. Wow.
Starting point is 00:14:12 Maybe. The cost is around $35. Many stylish colors, they say. The material used is an original men's lace, which provides improved stretch and strength. The lace itself features a large floral pattern, elegantly finished with images of leaves and motives. So here's the thing I don't think they should approach this the same way They approach lace with women
Starting point is 00:14:35 It's not about flowers and leaves It's if you're gonna appeal to men It's footballs and hammers Yeah, motorcycle Yeah, that should be what the shapes are They did say men's lace Men's Lace Yeah, but again, it says again
Starting point is 00:14:48 Original men's lace features floral patterns Right No, we, no, that's what we want We want soccer balls And Sonic Hamburgers Like if it had a Dallas Cowboys star on it I'd be down to do this.
Starting point is 00:15:00 It would make us... Okay, y'all would wear a lacy underwear as long as it had like, you know, your things on it. We're not saying we would. We're saying there's a better chance of it. Yeah, with the flowers, there's no chance. I don't know if lace even feels good. Uh-huh.
Starting point is 00:15:13 I bet it breathes. Try it out. Order a pair, spin the wheel. Order a pair than someone... Here's what we do. Here's what we do. No, Amy. That's what we do.
Starting point is 00:15:21 Sorry. We put all the dudes on the wheel. Oh, come on, man. We spin it. Oh. It lands on. them and then we know the size we need to order and then we order it and the person's got to wear them for three days I think they count in packs of three okay but not like
Starting point is 00:15:37 model in it or anything just wear it and review it way yeah ooh and you have to like surprise your significant other with it like you it won't be a surprise because we've talked about it publicly now we play the game oh well they don't always listen no my Kailen never listens but it pops up on Instagram sometimes oh yeah like if we keep the club off Instagram which it could possibly be a surprise so that's what we should do we should spend the wheel, maybe later in the show. Okay. Are y'all different sizes? What, okay, assign sizes to us.
Starting point is 00:16:04 Well, I don't, no, I don't want to assign sizes. I mean, I'm sure. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Sometimes it's stretchy. What size underwear would we all wear? You could all wear a medium. Me. You could all wear a medium. No, no, let's talk about it.
Starting point is 00:16:13 Me, what size would I wear? A medium. What size what Eddie wear? A medium. Okay, you're not playing the game. Snug medium. Eddie's not, Eddie's narrow. Yeah, man, I'm narrow.
Starting point is 00:16:23 Listen to her. Do you ever want to be called narrow? Like, fit, I like. in shape, thin, that's okay, but narrow feels like the weirdest? Because I don't like commenting on people's bodies, but I think he's narrow. You started it by going all the same size. I just started it by being like we don't have to spin the wheel to wait to order. Okay, let's get the wheel ready.
Starting point is 00:16:43 Just the dudes, though. Okay. Mike D. in this? Why would he not be? I feel like Scoovin wants to wear this. Like, he's one of those weird dudes that would wear this, no problem. Elon Musk has a company called Neerlink, which aims to treat people with neurological diseases and afflictions like paralysis and put the chip in their brain
Starting point is 00:17:03 and help them. Now some people have volunteered to have that chip put in their brain just to be smarter because he thinks he can do it. Now I think the idea of being able to fix your paralysis is amazing. And if that were me, I would go, I don't know, probably go for it, but your brain, that's as as is as hardcore as it gets. I know because like what if like one little thing goes wrong? And when you start doing this, when you very first start, there's a problem. There's a lot of, I don't know, they're are things that are going to go wrong. The company is hiring for a clinical trial director who will be working on humans.
Starting point is 00:17:33 They have done studies in monkeys and pigs. They've talked about being able to download memories, not just in your brain, but in robots and stuff too. They could put all your memories in a robot. You can be like, Chuckie, what did I do? May 3rd, 1993. I'm glad you asked, you got beat up that day, Bobby. Oh, crap.
Starting point is 00:17:52 But a robot could have all of it too. My question is, if they came to you and said, hey, we feel pretty good about this. Would you do a test for us and let us put the chip in your brain? Probably yes. Whoa! You went yes? Wow.
Starting point is 00:18:05 I thought I was going to put some money in it. What about you? No, not right now. Really? Yeah. You wait a little bit? Yeah. We'll see, but we need people to do it, though.
Starting point is 00:18:14 Do you think you're an astronaut, Neil Armstrong? I know. You need people to go to the moon, take the first step? No, that's totally different than this. Okay. I'm surprised you said yes at this. However, this will probably be something that's normal in 20. years. Yeah. Yeah. You of all people. Why? You're just not someone I see who is interested in that.
Starting point is 00:18:34 I feel like you just like to live your life, be happy, and die. Yeah, but I mean, I think if there's certain things, like I just know how, if there's a little thing that can put in my brain that'll alter it to make my body start doing other things that, like, I had lost the ability. Maybe start of walking like a robot with her arms. I don't know. Like, I don't know if it could be a vision thing or my arm might not be working the way that it was. For paralysis, I think it's awesome. But you know it's going to eventually linger over to the normal human part, and we just want to be smarter. Someone's like, I want to go on Jeopardy.
Starting point is 00:19:04 Go ahead, Elon. Put it in there. It's time for the good news. With lunchbox. Stay home, it's something good. A mom in Atlanta pulled into a gas station, left the car running to run inside and get a drink. Her nine-year-old son in the back seat. Well, when she went inside, someone jumped in the car and drove off.
Starting point is 00:19:24 She's like, what am I going to do? She calls 911. and she pulls out her iPhone and uses Find My iPhone app and tracks her son's iPhone and gives the police detailed play-by-play instructions. That's awesome. And I believe now we know you should always give a 9-year-old an iPhone. That's what we learned here.
Starting point is 00:19:41 That's what stuck out to me is that a 9-year-old had an iPhone. Let's go. They all get one. That's crazy. Let's sign that into law. That's the craziest part of the story. Yeah, I can't believe you had an iPhone. So they found the kid. They got the car.
Starting point is 00:19:52 Yeah, because she was able to go, oh, wait, they're turning left on this street. Oh, they're over here. She gave him play by play. That's crazy. Doing fine my iPhone. That's pretty cool. Good job. That's what it's all about.
Starting point is 00:20:01 That was Tell Me Something Good. Let's go over. I would like to talk to Rick in Arkansas. Rick, welcome to the show. What's going on, buddy? Morning. Hey, so I kind of want to touch base on the men's lace underwear. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:17 Really, what are we doing, guys? How are you going to be a man's man wearing lace underwear? I agree. I agree with you. I didn't say we wanted to do that. I don't want to do this. I'm embarrassed already. If we're putting something on the wheel, we don't want to do it.
Starting point is 00:20:30 So are you talking about us, or are you talking about society? No, just society. Okay. Yeah, good, good. I mean, can you picture it, you know, you're going to date. He's a man's man. They get to the bedroom and, boom, flowery-laced underwear. Where do you go with that?
Starting point is 00:20:48 Well, what if we normalized men wanting to wear more comfortable things? You should. You should. Go for it. that this is going to be comfortable. We're going to find out. Someone's going to find it. Next segment we'll bring the wheel in.
Starting point is 00:21:01 What happened about 25 minutes ago was we read a story about how they're making men's lace underwear now and you can order like a three pack for 35 bucks. And I don't know what it feels like to wear lace. And I asked if anyone on the show would like and no one wanted to do this. So we're going to spin the wheel.
Starting point is 00:21:16 And I believe it comes in packs of three. So whomever loses has to wear it over three. Oh wow. I'm looking at it. I mean, it's freely lace. Yeah? Yeah. Mike has got a picture up of it. Oh, man.
Starting point is 00:21:25 It's like see-through on the back. It's really lace, yeah. How long until we get this in, Mike, if we order it? Oh, they're out of stock. That's okay. Well, we'll spend the wheel and we'll wait for it. Okay, Rick, as you can hear, none of us want to wear it. I mean, out of stock has to say something.
Starting point is 00:21:43 Hey, it's probably, they probably made like 10. The person who gets it is secretly like, oh, I hate it. And they're ordering more. We'll spend the will in a second. A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care what you're saying. Yep, that's me, Clifford Taylor the 4th.
Starting point is 00:22:00 You might have seen the skits, the reactions, my journey from basketball to college football, or my career in sports media. Well, somewhere along the way, this platform became bigger than I ever imagined. And now I'm bringing all of that excitement to my brand new podcast, The Clifford Show. This is a place for raw,

In 2023, former bachelor star Clayton Eckerd found himself at the center of a paternity scandal.
Starting point is 00:23:03 The family court hearings that followed revealed glaring inconsistencies in her story. This began a years-long court battle to prove the truth. You doctored this particular test twice in someone, correct? I doctored the test ones. It took an army of internet detectives to crack the case. I wanted people to be able to see what their tax dollars were being used for. Sunlight's the greatest disinfected. They would uncover a disturbing pattern.
Starting point is 00:23:29 Two more men who'd been through the same thing. Greg, the lesbian, Michael Marantini. My mind was blown. I'm Stephanie Young. This is Love Trap. Laura, Scottsdale Police. As the season continues, Laura Owens finally faces consequences.
Starting point is 00:23:45 Ladies and gentlemen, breaking news at Americopa County as Laura Owens has been indicted on fraud charges. This isn't over until Justice is served in Arizona. Listen to Love Trapped podcast on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Starting point is 00:24:06 There's two golden rules that any man should live by. Rule one, never mess with a country girl. You play stupid games, you get stupid prizes. And rule two, never mess with her friends either. We always say that, trust your girlfriends. I'm Anna Sinfield.
Starting point is 00:24:25 And in this new season of the girlfriends, Oh my God, this is the same man. A group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist. I felt like I got hit by a truck. I thought, how could this happen to me? The cops didn't seem to care. So they take matters into their own hands. I said, oh, hell no.
Starting point is 00:24:44 I vowed. I will be his last target. He's going to get what he deserves. Listen to the girlfriends. Trust me, babe. On the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Missy in New York You are on the Bobby Bone
Starting point is 00:25:08 Show Missy, how's it going? It's going just fine Good morning, studio Morning! I find that so funny The bit about the lace underwear
Starting point is 00:25:16 It comes in a pack of three And Amy said That all three of you guys Are pretty much the same size So why don't you all three wear them We're not the same size though Amy just didn't want to comment on people's bodies She did
Starting point is 00:25:29 Then she pulled back real quick It's stretching It can fit Who's a large? I mean, comfortably, probably a large. Maybe lunchbox. Really? Comfortably. And I could go big, small or medium.
Starting point is 00:25:43 Like a big small or a medium. So we're just, I don't like to. A big small? Yeah. It's like T-shirts. I can wear small T-shirts, as long as they're on the larger side of small. Same as underwear? Yeah, if I have to.
Starting point is 00:25:58 Really? If I have to. Okay. All right, let's do this. Let's spin the wheel. Whomever it lands on will order the box of three lacy's. They'll have to wear them for three days in a row. And they have flowers on them, said?
Starting point is 00:26:12 They do. Do we need another practice spin? Nope, here we go. Let's spin that wheel! Oh, come on. It's all the guys on the show. Oh, no, oh no, oh no. Can't do this.
Starting point is 00:26:27 Oh no, oh no. Can't do... Eddie. Yes! Oh, my one ring! Eddie! Eddie! I mean, it was meant to be.
Starting point is 00:26:36 My wife is going to kill you. Why? She doesn't want to see me in lingerie. She never know. So does she see you? But has she seen you before? Yeah. And now you know that.
Starting point is 00:26:46 No. Then how long have you been married? 16 years? Maybe this is just the spark to bring the fire back. It's not good, dude. So we'll order them. Oh, my gosh. We have no idea when they're going to come in because they're out of stock right now.
Starting point is 00:27:00 But as soon as they're here, what size you want? Buddy. Large? Let's go large, comfortable large. You want small large or big large? No, yeah, smaller large. Smaller large, yeah. This is not good.
Starting point is 00:27:10 All right, so Eddie lost. Nice job, Eddie. Oh, I was only one spot away. The story that made me laugh was this kid, almost two years old, was playing with a phone and racked up the Walmart bill for over $2,000. And it showed a picture of all the things that the kid ordered and he's sitting on top of the boxes.
Starting point is 00:27:30 The family didn't realize anything was wrong until the package just started showing up. But I wonder, Amy, your kids are older now, so they would know what they were doing with ordering stuff. Stasheera would. She's 14, but Stevenson at 11, still, I don't know that he gets it sometimes. I could see him being in my phone doing something else and being like, oh, okay, let me click this, click this, click that next thing you know, we got packages. Because if you click it and it's free, that means it's free. It's like checks back when we were kids.
Starting point is 00:27:54 You just write numbers on it. Yeah, because, yeah, credit cards are already there. I do have it. He's three now, but yes, our phones are on lock. You got to understand. Everything needs a pass code. Like all the Amazon stuff, anything needs a login because they're on the phone all the time. We use YouTube kids like, I don't know, 10 times a day just to keep them busy.
Starting point is 00:28:13 And so, yeah. You can see this happening with you guys? 100%. So everything's passcoded for sure. Here's Amy's pile of stories. All right. I have the top five most distracting songs to listen to while you're driving. Okay, baby's sharp.
Starting point is 00:28:29 No. That on there? No, it's something you might actually be listening to. but a driving school called Pass Me Fast Came out with the list. You know, what I would put on the list is the song from Nelly, what's your name?
Starting point is 00:28:42 A shaky tail feather because it has cop sirens in it. It goes, boo! That's distracting. Songs with sirens should not be allowed. I agree. They should pull all sirens. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:50 It's very distracting. Number five. Can't Stop Red Hot Chili Peppers. I like this song. I don't know how they determined it It had to do with like the beat, danceability, stuff like that. Okay, number four. Take on me.
Starting point is 00:29:08 Uh-huh. You struggling with how to say their name? Uh-huh. Uh-huh. Uh-huh. Uh-huh. Uh-huh. Uh-huh.
Starting point is 00:29:17 We just say it different. Okay. Okay. Empire state of mind, Jay Z, and Alicia Keys. Is it because we try to rap and only get like a third words right? Maybe. All right. The Killers, Mr. Brightside.
Starting point is 00:29:30 I'm just not understanding why they're so distracting. Do they list any sort of formula here as why they picked these songs? Yeah, like the energy, like high energy, danceable, like how into it you are when you're driving. Okay. And then at number one, outcast, hey ya. Oh, yeah. Maybe because you take your hands off the wheels to shake it. You shouldn't do that.
Starting point is 00:29:48 The Polaroid, you mean? Yeah. Take it like a Polaroid picture. Maybe. Yeah. Okay, what else you got? All right, there's a new post-marriage trend, and it's called the Buddy Moon. I've heard about this.
Starting point is 00:29:58 There's no chance. This is real. This is someone either doing it once and making it. a story about it or someone just making it up. Well, a poll was done and nearly half of the people polled responded that they would totally consider a buddy man. Consider it, not doing, though. A buddy moon is like not a honeymoon. It's just your buddy after you get married. It's terrible. No, it's not just your buddy. No, it's that there's people from the groom side and people from the bride's side and everybody goes on the honeymoon together. Who can afford that? Buddy moon. Who gets that time off work?
Starting point is 00:30:24 No chance. We'd schedule it. I would click yes. I would like to do that too, but you actually can't do it. Right. But you and Caitlin, y'all, it was very intimate, just you and her, y'all went on a trip. That's the point of like going with your new spouse and going somewhere alone to bond and do all the things. But this, you wouldn't be into this? I don't think I could get my, I can't get two friends to go with us anywhere, anyway, so I don't know that I would get them to go on a big trip. Okay. Well, it's just an option. In case you're getting married soon or you have a delayed honeymoon, make it a buddy moon. All right. Is that it? I'm Amy. That's my pile. That was Amy's pile of stories
Starting point is 00:31:00 It's time for the good news With Bobby Tell me something good So there's this woman named Linda She lives in Minnesota And she's lived in the same town for like 20 years And she volunteers a lot in the town So the community feels like they know her
Starting point is 00:31:15 They actually call her the mother of the neighborhood Well she had some hard times personally And she did not have the money to pay rent for her place And she was going to get evicted But some of the community members were like hey, we should do something here to make sure she doesn't get evicted. So not only do they just do something to pay her rent, they actually went to an art museum,
Starting point is 00:31:34 they had a fundraiser, and raised enough for her to what it looks like is to put a down payment on a house. Yes. So she's going to have a place to live and possibly have it be her own. And they were like, she's lived here and lived for us for so long.
Starting point is 00:31:48 This is what we feel like we should do. A pretty cool story there. That's great. Maybe they help out with a couple of mortgage payments too. Yeah, sure. Love your neighbor A few gift cards here and there too Uber Eats, Eddie gets some good Uber Eats cards
Starting point is 00:32:00 Maybe get a one of those Why not? Good story That's what it's all about That was tell me something good Eddie I do want to check in Because yesterday you had a hot dog-flavored candy cane Yeah
Starting point is 00:32:13 You complained about it all day I wasn't feeling well How'd it go Dude I was Last night I was walking my dog at like 930 p.m. And I still tasted it in my mouth Do you think the candy can is like a joke? Like you give it to someone and they can't stop tasting it?
Starting point is 00:32:28 Yes, it's a bad joke. It's not even a good prank because a good prank is like, we got you, jokes over. Dude, it was 24 hours later. And I'm telling you, right now, if I burped, I can probably still smell the dumb hot dog. Well, most people, though, don't have to eat the whole candy cane. I bet most of them lick it and they go, this is terrible.
Starting point is 00:32:44 Yeah, not me. But since you lost, you had to eat the whole thing. It's not good, man. Let's go to a voicemail. Here's one we got last night. Hey, good morning studio. I just had a quick morning, Forney for you, what generation does Forrest Gump belong to?
Starting point is 00:32:59 Gen A. Gen A. Have a good one. He liked his own joke. That's good. All right, let's go over to Amy with the corny. The Morning Corny! How did the pharaohs convince people to build their Egyptian monuments?
Starting point is 00:33:17 How did the pharaohs convince people to build their monuments? It was a pyramid scheme. I like it. That's pretty funny. That was the morning corny. A lot of words to get us there. I know. Sorry. I'm pretty good.
Starting point is 00:33:32 I've never heard of this before. Tell the show what happened to your friend. Okay, me neither. But my friend and her fiancee, they're shopping for like hot tubs, and they go to a hot tub showroom. So there's all these hot tubs. And then the salesperson says,
Starting point is 00:33:47 we have swimsuits that we loan out if people want to put them on and get in the hot tub to take it a little test run. Of course they didn't because she was grossed out by the fact, but the thought that that even existed. I mean, I'm sure they washed the swimsuits. But I don't know, just the whole thing just seemed a little bit weird, but I could see wanting to give your hot tub a little run. I think it's interesting that they have swimsuits there. But if I were going to shop for a hot tub and get in, I would take one with me. Okay, sure. Yeah, I mean,
Starting point is 00:34:16 she just didn't even know that was an option, so she wasn't even prepared for that. But you're right. That's a big purchase to not get in. But do you need to get in a hot tub to Yeah. I mean, what's it going to do? It's going to be hot and it's going to bubble, right? Yeah, but the seats are different. The jets are different. But you can get in without the rain water. But no, no, I just think you should probably, I've never thought about this. And I love a hot tub. I'm not big on a swim pool. I'm not big on, I like bad. I like hot, hot, bad, it's hot water.
Starting point is 00:34:44 But I never thought about test driving it out. Yeah. But I guess you would need to. So take your own swimsuit when you go hot tub shop. Or no, you don't have to. They got some there. No, I would not do that. Top point. I would not do that. I would not put on a use swimsuit. It's pretty gross. What's the rule of putting on a swimsuit to try on if you're going to buy one at the store? Like for women. I mean, if I leave my underwear on, but they have little strips in it.
Starting point is 00:35:07 So they want you to put underwear on. I do. Do some people try it on? They just go on a room and just get and put it on their privates. I assume that people do. That's why I don't. For guys, we don't have to worry about that because we're not trying on swimsuits. We basically know medium. Correct. Large. And that works for us. But for you guys That's very different Yeah, not the same at all And then you want obviously a full body That goes from your ankles to your wrists
Starting point is 00:35:30 Yes It's like a wetsuit Yes, basically a wetsuit Yes, yes, yes When you try out of bed You lay on a bed in store Exactly But do you like
Starting point is 00:35:39 But do they have pajamas? That's what I was gonna say Or they should allow you to put a curtain up And you get butt naked Because you sleep naked Like however you sleep at home We're gonna let you do this now No, that's interesting
Starting point is 00:35:50 Do you like Because I love a hot bath I love a hot tub. Yes. But it's hard for me to get into a bath when it's already full and it's as hot as I like it. Because I like to, I'm like, ooh, it's too hot. Right? If it's full, it's full, it's like, ooh, it's too hot.
Starting point is 00:36:04 I can't get in right now. And then I have to put cold water in. However, same temperature. If I start with no water in and I'm sitting there, I can turn it on and take it all the way up because my body slowly acclimates to it. Wow. So there's like two types of people in this world, those that sit in a bathtub while it's filling up? I have to have it the temperature. You get in there when it's empty.
Starting point is 00:36:22 Yeah. Yeah, yeah. I sure do. What do you do in that time, bones? Like to kill. What? I'm definitely cold because I'm on. He's like sitting there in fetal position waiting for it to fill. And there's no water.
Starting point is 00:36:34 And I look disgusting. My belly's all hanging over. Okay. I got a bath bomb in there that there's no water on it. But I need to be in the bathtub before the water gets like an inch deep or I'm just too wimpy to get into the hot water. I need it to build. I like a lobster. I don't even realize it's getting hotter.
Starting point is 00:36:50 And next thing you know, I'm boiled. Oh, wow. No, that's not a lobster. I was like, I don't know. That's how they die. It's not like lobsters get dropped in. Yeah, lobsters get dropped in. There's some animal, maybe a frog. You can heat up a frog in water and they don't realize it.
Starting point is 00:37:01 And then all of a sudden. Dang, dude. What? One of those animals you do that. Yeah. Maybe a lobster is they just throw it in. That sucks. I don't like that.
Starting point is 00:37:11 But a water, the boiling frog, a frog can be boiled alive slowly because they can go in when it's warm and you can slowly turn the water up. Oh. And they won't really realize it. They just falls asleep. And then all of a sudden, they're, they're frog ways. I wasn't trying to take the story there. But that's how I am in the bathtub. I like to get in, no water.
Starting point is 00:37:29 Let me have it. Okay, well, since I'm someone that goes in after the water's added, I want to give you this tip. You can wait for it to fill up, but don't drop your bath bomb until the end. I don't, because I told you, I don't like to get in after it's full because I can't take the, I can't get into the water where the temperature it already is. Okay, I'm with you on that. But save your bath bomb once you get to the full point, then drop it in. It'll be more enjoyable. I just do too.
Starting point is 00:37:52 Do one, see? One later. More satisfying. All right on the phone right now, let's go to Thomas in North Carolina. Hey, Thomas, what's going on, buddy? On Facebook, I got a message, and it says from Luke Cohn's Foundation. And it asked me, you know, hey, are you a fan, a special fan? And I put, yes, I am.
Starting point is 00:38:15 So then this morning I wake up, and I have a text message saying, congratulations, lucky winner. you have won $50,000. You are randomly selected on Facebook by Luke Combs COVID-19 charity foundation. We noticed you haven't claimed your winnings from the UPS Courier Service. And it says click on this link. So I guess my question was I was trying to find out if this is something legit or if this is a scam. Wow, congratulations.
Starting point is 00:38:42 No, it's a scam. Do not click that link. Well, wait, did he click? Don't click. No, no. No, no. No, I just replied. I just replied. I didn't click on the link. I just replied that don't joke around.
Starting point is 00:38:55 Yeah, no, don't click that. I mean, I don't know for sure that it's fake, but I would bet anything I have that's fake. I don't know if Luke has a foundation. Well, COVID-191, I'm sure. I think he does. And I don't know that he's randomly giving away $50,000 from a foundation. Like, think about that. A foundation tries to get money, not give money. That's a scam. And this is what happened. people will find out who you're a fan of and then use that to go oh you like this person well now that your guard is down let's see if I can get you to click on a couple things where you will also yesterday someone had commented on something on the bobby bone show page or maybe on my
Starting point is 00:39:35 personal instagram and then fake bobby bones account started email started messaging them going hey I'm I'm hitting you for my secret account thanks for liking my account oh and so they're like wow is this really you from your secret account I don't have a secret account. I'm scared of my real account sometimes. So unless it has a blue check mark, don't talk to it. If they say they're famous. Also, if they send you a link, don't click it. Because as soon as you click that link, you're going to put in some information and then they're going to have you. And then you're going to be calling me going, hey, what's that Lifelock code, that promo code to get LifeLock? So, yeah. Yeah, LifeLock.com, by the way.
Starting point is 00:40:14 Slash bones. Thomas, that's not real. I don't think it's really. I don't think it's real. Don't click the link, man. I feel like we also just need to say, oh, sorry, because I'm sure he got, did you even get a little bit excited that maybe you won $50,000? Well, so, you know,
Starting point is 00:40:30 yeah, it would have been nice. Heck yeah. He's like, well, I already spent it I'm being honest. Well. You know, I'm not lunchbox now. But it would you know, you do hear stories
Starting point is 00:40:44 about people doing that sometimes. So that's why I was just trying to figure out that this is legit. That's true. If by any chance Luke Combs is listening right now, and he does sometimes, I'm not going to text him and wake him up this early, but Luke, if you're listening or anyone your team's listening, you can text me and further this that it is a scam. I know it's a scam. Even with no one texting me, I know it's a scam. But I'll put that line out there and see if anyone hits me. Okay, Thomas. Don't click the link. All right. Appreciate it, guys. All right, buddy. See you later. Sorry. Sorry to disappoint you. Because he thought there's probably a slight chance he wanted. $150,000. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:41:20 Stinks for the guy. I know. Don't click links, people, at all. No. Sometimes we get links from work and we're like, we don't trust them. Even work links. Yeah. Real ones.
Starting point is 00:41:28 I ain't doing it. I ain't doing it. A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care what I'm saying. Yep, that's me. Clever Taylor the 4th. You might have seen the skits, the reactions,

Starting point is 00:47:00 All right. Show me love. There's round one. Eddie. Okay, all right, here we go. I think that while you're drinking, you drink on the tailgate. So give me tailgate. Tailgate, all right?
Starting point is 00:47:20 Show me, tailgate! Watch. You love a bun. Five answers still on the board, Amy. The songs all have these words. You country music. What are the words? Dance.
Starting point is 00:47:35 Dang it. That's what I just got in my head. Yes, like the dance, the chair, would you like to have this dance? Dancing on the tailgate. Dance a mogey. Dance. Show me dance.
Starting point is 00:47:48 I hope we dance. I mean, I could name tons of dance. Thanks, a very good one. Amy's fighting for it. No, it's not on it. The words that are most commonly used in country music, lunchbox. I'm struggling now because I dance. thought was a home run.
Starting point is 00:48:06 Uh, cheese. Can I just say, he named the type of beer. Can I just say drinking? Because they talk about drinking all the time. You can say whatever he wants. Drinking.
Starting point is 00:48:20 All right, show me drinking. What? Final round. Woo! I just thought it. Like Amy just took some smelling salt. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:48:31 Amy, I love. Eddie, last time, buddy. I mean, I have four left written down. Wow. You have four? I know, but the other two were wrong. So let's see.
Starting point is 00:48:41 Okay, okay, okay. How about this, Bones? Sitting here drinking beer, talking God. Give me God. That's it. That was my next one. Show me. God!
Starting point is 00:48:54 Oh, dang, I had Jesus God the Lord. Bones, it's God's country. All would have been accepted. Oh, man. Jesus God, the Lord would have all been accepted. Okay. Okay. So it's my turn.
Starting point is 00:49:08 It is. Okay. Give me Take me four ride on my big green. Tractor. Give me Tractor. It's not bad, Amy. Why not?
Starting point is 00:49:21 Show me. Tractor! Oh! The number 10 answer for 10 points. That's huge. That's huge. Thank you, Jason Aldeen, or anybody else has a song with Tractor? All right.
Starting point is 00:49:34 She thinks my tractor. She's sexy. Chesney. Yeah. Amy, there are four answers left on the board. Okay. Guitar Oh
Starting point is 00:49:42 Guitar Cadillac Hillbilly music Show me guitar Tier drops Lunchbox you can win this But you got to pretty much run it I mean I just got to get one I just want to get on the board

Starting point is 00:50:07 Weather? Well I mean it runs out of rain I'm going to go with meteorology. Yeah. You know what? We'll go with rain instead of just weather. Rain. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:50:17 Rain is a good day. Every storm runs out of rain. Every storm runs out of rain. Doesn't run out of rain. I don't know. Show me. Rain. Lunchbox went over.
Starting point is 00:50:32 Dang. Before we declared our winner. But any of you're going to run it all. I thought it was. Your number three answer was boots. Oh, of course. Your number five answer was Cowboy Oh

Starting point is 00:51:11 with opening things and emails from our company that says, hey, you want a $100 gift card or really clicking any link at all now. Apparently scammers are now targeting people that work for iHeartRadio, which is what we work for. So there's an email, this is a real life attempt. Someone that works in our company got a text.
Starting point is 00:51:30 Hey, Jennifer, I'm in a conference right now. I can't talk on my phone, but let me know if you get my text. Thanks, Bob Pittman. Oh. Bob Pittman for our listeners is our CEO. of the entire company. A guy that's done so much in media
Starting point is 00:51:43 started MTV back in the day and has a crazy resume that leads him all the way now to being CEO of this company and it has been for a long time. So let me know if you get my text signed Bob Pittman. So someone's gonna be like, whoa.
Starting point is 00:51:56 The boss is texting. And most people won't have his name saved in their phone. They won't know his personal cell phone. So they may be like, oh-oh, what if this is? I don't want to challenge this. So this is a real life example.
Starting point is 00:52:08 She writes, hey, Bob, this is Jennifer. You may have mistaken me for another Jennifer that you're trying to reach. Thanks. And he said, no, I've an urgent task for you, though. Are you available? And she's like, I'm happy to help, Bob. Okay, thanks for your response. Okay, I'm on a conference call meeting right now, and I need to provide a client with some gift cards. Can you confirm if you can get to an Apple store nearest you? What?
Starting point is 00:52:28 And so, and I'm not just reading this because of people to work for this company, but if anyone's ever asking you for gift cards, again, if Cole Swindale 4268 on Instagram hits you up and says, I'm Cole Swindell, this is my secret account. I need Amazon gift cards. That's not real. No one wants gift cards unless they're a scammer. In this company, they're posing as Bob Pittman.
Starting point is 00:52:50 In real life, they're posing as Cole Swindell or Brett Eldridge. Never go buy gift cards and give them to anybody. Somebody called and said Luke Combs's a charitable foundation said he won $50,000. He was like, is this real? The only thing I could think was going to happen is they were going to go, hey, you're going to need to pay like 500 bucks for us to be able to send it to you. Because that wasn't real either. But anyone that works in this company would be rattled if they got a text from Bob Pittman.
Starting point is 00:53:14 And they would go like, yeah, what do you need? You need an iPad? I'm on my way. I'd have fallen for it. I'm in the car right now. So just as a PSA that you guys are listening to the show, if someone reaches out to you and wants anything, don't give it to them. Because it is not legitimate.
Starting point is 00:53:30 If you reach out to someone with a blue check or you reach out to an organization, I would then follow up in a different line of communication, not just the same Instagram or Twitter line. Yeah, try to triple check it somehow. You know how you have the two-factor authentication sometimes? You try to log into Twitter and then it comes around on your phone. He goes, here's a code. I'd reach out through phone after I talk to them on Instagram, text.
Starting point is 00:53:55 I'd call somebody. So just be careful. That's all this is, is that be careful, be careful. Now there's just going to be that one time where Bob Pittman's really trying to get a hold of somebody to do something. and they're like, yeah, whatever, Bob. He really is like, hey, Bobby, can you give me some California pizza kitchen coupons? And I'm like, yeah, right, no way, dude.
Starting point is 00:54:13 Sucka. Hey, even if it is Cole Swindell, though, like, don't give him money because he has enough money, right? Well, Cole hasn't asked me for money since you should be here, it came out. All right. After that came out, he was good. He's all good. financially. Let's go over and talk to Brooke in Texas.
Starting point is 00:54:29 Who's on the phone? Hey, Brooke, appreciate to call, and what's going on? Hey, I am just calling about your. story about the CEO texting one of y'all's employees. Yeah. And I work in HR, and HR and payroll work real close together. And I was just going to share that it's really common for hackers to reach out to someone in payroll as, you know, a chief of the company, the CEO, the CIO, something like that,
Starting point is 00:54:54 and ask them to change their direct deposit information. Because those people make a lot of money, right? So if they get one of their paychecks, it's going to be worth it to them. so they do that a lot and also, you know, it's not like if the CIO, you know, the chief information officer leads it out to you, you'll be embarrassed that say, hey, you're supposed to change that in the,
Starting point is 00:55:14 you know, the HRIS, in the technology system so they'll get them to do it for them. That's crazy. And you know the hacker's so pumped if they get that to work. Yeah. They're like, Chris, can you believe this? We can't believe they did it. Yeah, that's wild.
Starting point is 00:55:28 You just got to be careful. I don't click links. I don't trust anybody online. even when Eddie facetimes me from the toilet I'm like, is this really Eddie? Yeah, this is one of those deep fakes. It's always me, trust me. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I thought so.
Starting point is 00:55:38 Hey, Brooke, thank you for the call. Hope you have a great day. Thank you, you too. A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care what you're saying. Yep, that's me, Cliver Taylor the 4th.
Starting point is 00:55:49 You might have seen the skits, the reactions, my journey from basketball to college football, or my career in sports media. Well, somewhere along the way, this platform became bigger than I ever imagined. And now I'm bringing all of that excitement to my brand new podcast, The Clifford Show. Starting point is 00:56:37 Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast. And for more behind the scenes, follow at Clifford and at TikTok Podcast Network on TikTok. In 2023, former Bachelor star Clayton Eckerd found himself at the center of a paternity scandal. The family court hearings that followed revealed glaring inconsistencies in her story.
Starting point is 00:56:58 This began a years-long court battle to prove the truth. You doctored this particular test twice in so-ins, correct? I doctored the test ones. It took an army of internet detectives to crack the case. I wanted people to be able to see what their tax dollars were being used for. Sunlight's the greatest disinfectant. They would uncover a disturbing pattern.
Starting point is 00:57:19 Two more men who'd been through the same thing. Gregalespian and Michael Marincini. My mind was blown. I'm Stephanie Young. This is Love Trap. Laura, Scottsdale Police. As the season continues, Laura Owens finally faces consequences. Ladies and gentlemen, breaking news at Americopa County as Laura Owens has been indicted on fraud charges.
Starting point is 00:57:41 This isn't over until justice is served in Arizona. Listen to Love Trapped podcast on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. There's two golden rules that any man should live by. Rule one, never mess with a country girl. You play stupid games, you get stupid prizes. And Rule 2, never mess with her friends either. We always say that trust your girlfriends. I'm Anna Sinfield, and in this new season of the girlfriends...
Starting point is 00:58:17 Oh my God, this is the same man. A group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist. I felt like I got hit by a truck. I thought, how could this happen to me? The cops didn't seem to care. So they take matters into their own hands. I said, oh, hell no. I vowed I will be his last target.
Starting point is 00:58:36 He's going to get what he deserves. Listen to the girlfriends. Trust me, babe. On the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Let's talk to Donald in Louisiana who's on the phone. Hey, Donald, what's going on? I was calling my little girl. She's 10.
Starting point is 00:59:02 She is into TikTok. She has over 3,000 followers. Wow. And I was just wondering if I should be a little word, because I really don't know nothing about TikTok. You know, I don't know Facebook and Instagram, but TikTok I know nothing about. Yeah, yeah, and she's 10. She's 10. And there's no video of her actually on the TikTok.
Starting point is 00:59:29 She just, she loves to edit, and that's what she's doing. She's editing, like, anime videos. Wow. Well, first, if there's no videos of her and she's only edited, editing videos and putting them up there. That's pretty cool, and that's something you can actually support her and doing while also monitoring the messages that are coming into her. The thing is, people don't know she's 10, right?
Starting point is 00:59:48 Right, right. So you're going to avoid the creepos who go, oh, here's a 10-year-old kid. Let me send them a message. If they don't know she's 10. And she also has some sort of talent or skill that she's developed this young age. I mean, I think this is actually a good thing. First of all, how did she get on TikTok at 10 to begin with? Anybody have that question?
Starting point is 01:00:06 Yeah. Does she have a phone? She does have a phone She doesn't have a phone And she downloaded the app And set up an account And did you know she was doing this? Yeah, well
Starting point is 01:00:16 My wife's the one who set her up with it You know, just to watch videos and stuff And then she started like editing Since she was probably like eight You know, she started editing videos Well this is what I'll say And then I'll let Amy speak on this too Because Amy has a teenage daughter
Starting point is 01:00:30 I think it's great I think as long as you're watching what she's doing She's not posting videos of her dancing as a 10-year-old in the video where dudes can be like, hey, 10-year-old, let me send you a creepy message. If she's creating art, that's pretty cool. Just monitor her account,
Starting point is 01:00:46 see what she's sending out and receiving, and let her keep doing her things. She may want to do this for the rest of her life. She may have found her chosen profession. I think it's good. If she were doing dance videos, it would be a whole different story, and I would say something different,
Starting point is 01:00:59 but she's not. So that's what I'm going to say. Amy? I just think, yeah, the fact that you're getting curious about it is the next right step for you. And yes, getting involved in some way and being aware and checking her phone and just going through the comments is the best way to proceed. Because she is still young.
Starting point is 01:01:17 And while people don't know she's 10, then people might think she's older and who knows who's going to reach out to her. Any social media should just be monitored by parents, even if it is for her hobby. Monitor, but encourage. All right. Have a good day, Donald. Let me run through some voicemails here. This is Seth from Ohio.
Starting point is 01:01:33 I'm calling in to tell you guys, I love your show. You guys are great. I'm telling you right now, if I didn't have you in the morning, I don't know what I would do. Coming to work, I'd probably turn around and drive right back home. You guys get me woke up in the morning. I love to hear the good news. I appreciate you. Thank you.
Starting point is 01:01:49 Appreciate that call. You should quit your job if we get taken off the air. You might. That's what I'd like to see. Yeah, you might. Here's one more. I just wanted to talk about Bobby. You are mentioning desserts that you like, and you said anything without peanut butter.
Starting point is 01:02:01 And I used to love peanut butter. However, I had COVID about a year ago, lost all my taste and smell, getting it back. Peanut Butter and Lettuce now taste awful. I just wanted to see if other people had symptoms like this. It's just peanut butter and lettuce. They taste like dirt. Morgan, does she experiences? Eddie, anyone else, just checking in.
Starting point is 01:02:20 Morgan, you still don't have your smell. I don't have my smell, but I haven't had any issues with taste, which is really good for me. So I can't say anything. It tastes like dirt. Is anything starting to creep back into your smell? Like do you almost smell something? If I stick it literally right on top of my nose, I can smell it. But it has to be right there or there's no, there's literally no thing that I can smell.
Starting point is 01:02:43 Are you really wanting your smell back? Are you cool with it just not ever coming back? I've just kind of accepted. People are sending me things that I can do. I was like, this is too much work to try and get my smell. Right now I don't have to smell anything bad. So why would I try and get it back? So I'm pretty cool with just leaving it as it is.
Starting point is 01:02:58 And if it comes back, cool. If it doesn't, then I'll just live like this. Eddie, you lost. Just my smell, not my taste. So peanut butter still tastes the same to me. I mean, everything tastes the same to me. And my smell came back a year later. I mean, I was just like Morgan for a whole year.
Starting point is 01:03:11 Crazy. Yeah. All right, thank you for the call. You guys can always call the voicemail line. 877-Bobby. Bobby Bone Show. Bonehead. Story of the day.
Starting point is 01:03:22 This story comes with us from Cape Coral, Florida. A 28-year-old man was eating at Waffle House. His bacon came out, and it wasn't crispy enough. So he gets mad, slams the bacon down, takes off his shirt. You need to cook the blanking bacon right! They called police and he was arrested and charged with public intoxication. Yeah, he's drunk, obviously. Or just very passionate about bacon.
Starting point is 01:03:47 I mean, it needs to be crispy, right? It does have to be just right. Wait, so how do you prefer your bacon, though? Baked in the oven. What? I just meant like how crispy versus how... Go ahead. Well, no, oven baked versus pan fried is way better.
Starting point is 01:04:00 and it's also less mess to clean up, and you got to do it at 400 for 15 and a half minutes. Okay, Eddie? I'm just going to keep it simple bones. I want it crispy. Very crispy. See, I like it, if crispy, if really crispy's at 10, I like mine on like a four and a half.
Starting point is 01:04:17 Oh. A little soggy? Yeah, a little soggy. Huh. Yeah. Like soggy in the middle, crispy on the ends? I don't need crispy at all. Oh.
Starting point is 01:04:25 Mm-mm. I don't need crispy at all. Not really. Also, the guy took his shirt off, which is how you would know he was just. drunk. That's the first thing a drunk guy does, right? Sure. Take a shirt off. He wanted to fight. Over bacon.
Starting point is 01:04:35 All right, thank you. I'm Lunchbox. That's your Bonehead story of the day. Whenever I was playing football in junior high, we had, it was like Axe body spray, but it was just deodorant in a can, like aerosol can and what you would do, and I never did this because I just wasn't tough, but the kids, you'd see how long you could spray it on
Starting point is 01:04:54 yourself until it burnt you. Dumb. It was a TikTok dumb trend before we had TikTok. For some reason we started doing it. But it would like freeze the skin until it burned. Well, there was a kid who was doing this with Axe Body Spray now, and he lost his nipples because they basically broke off. Oh my gosh.
Starting point is 01:05:12 That's awful. Whoa. He was spraying and feeling like nothing had happened. He was like, man, that's so cold. And then he went to his next class because he was doing it at school. And he was bleeding through his shirt. And he was like, yeah, and he flicked his nipple and broke off. Okay.
Starting point is 01:05:29 Nipple broke off because he froze it. That's crazy. The only thing I can picture, it's like your hair freezing. You could break off like a piece of hair if you've been outside a long time. When I was doing breaking Bobby Bones, we were in like Northern Iowa in the middle of winter. And I had little hairs breaking off because they had frozen. Wow. But a nipple?
Starting point is 01:05:46 That's nuts. He flicked it. That's crazy. He flicked a nipple and it broke off. The nippleless boy told everyone what happened and described it as having a wart removed. Yeah, freeze it. Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Now it's just raw exposed skin from the mirror.
Starting point is 01:06:01 But how is these... Okay, why do you guys have nipples anyway, right? That's a good question. I have nipples. Can you milk me? They say we can feed babies. They say it's possible. Yeah, we tried that once.
Starting point is 01:06:12 We tried that once. I brought in my sister's milk maker, what's that called? The breast pump. And we put it on... Our old producer Carlos tried to milk himself. And nothing came out. Nope. Okay.
Starting point is 01:06:23 No, we even had them think maternal things too. Like, come on, man, focus. Like, you have to save a baby. Come on, man. It's the only chance for this baby to eat. Okay, thank you. We'll see you tomorrow. Have a great day.
Starting point is 01:06:35 And until Wednesday, goodbye, friends. This is the Bobby Bones show. Bobby Bones. A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care what I'm saying. Yep, that's me. Clifford Taylor the 4th.
