Starting point is 00:02:46 addresses. Get started at Redfin.com. Own the dream. Look at us. We're here. Morning studio. It's a Tuesday. We're super pumped. You guys could join us. Let's get started with today's show up first. He's only Hispanic I know who doesn't like avocado. Here it is. Producer Ready, everybody. That's funny. That's true. I'd like to propose a new rule, a new office rule.
Starting point is 00:03:21 Can we have a list of foods that we can't eat in the office? Like boiled eggs, fish, onions. What happened? I was roaming in the halls. I went to the bathroom and somebody here that works in an office right next to us was heeding up some salmon and it stunk up the entire building. And I'm thinking, come on, there has to be a rule. of no fish in the office.
Starting point is 00:03:42 Who was it? It's Kevin. Oh, kick off Kevin. Kick off Kevin. And it was wrong. Dude, this fish must have been like two weeks old. It was a gross. He didn't just smells.
Starting point is 00:03:51 Yeah, and Eddie eats eggs that stink too. I don't anymore. I stopped bringing that because everyone complained about my boiled eggs. He did stop. He was doing this. Oh, it's so gross. Then he stopped and it was gross. But was he eating it here close to the studios or in the break room?
Starting point is 00:04:04 I would eat it kind of in the hallways. No, not you. Kick out Kevin. Oh, he was in his little office. Okay. Which with the door open and everyone can smell it. Okay. So here's what the role is going to have to be.
Starting point is 00:04:13 If you have stinky food, you can still have it. We can't say what food you can or can't eat. But stinky food can only stink in the break room. But how do you define stinky food? Like, that's just, you know, it depends on everyone else's notes. Yeah, you know. And if somebody complains about something, it's then deemed a stinky food. Now, is it, he was in his office.
Starting point is 00:04:30 Yeah, but break room only because his office is right here with us. I know. And then sometimes it's stinky and then we have guests come up. And I'm like, oh. Well, it's also on lunch on lunch, it's farts, too. That happens too where he farts and then guests can walk right into it. But that's in my office. No, there's no office.
Starting point is 00:04:43 That's these rooms. Yeah. And I can't break room. I can't do that because people are eating. Bathroom. Bathroom. So the rule is going to be if it's a stinky food, you have to eat in the break room. Love it.
Starting point is 00:04:53 And if you're confused on if it's a stinky food or not, then we will tell you in the second time then you have to go to the break room. Deal? Love it. Okay. Up next, he talks for a living but got all his lines cut during his Las Vegas show debut. Here he is. Lunchbox, everybody. That's harsh.
Starting point is 00:05:10 Guys, cold showers is a no-go for me. I gave it two weeks. Everybody talks about, oh, cold showers are amazing. Yeah, it wakes you up because it's like, oh, it's a jolt. But it feels like I am having a heart attack when I get in there. My heart starts going to... What was the benefit to you that you were looking forward to? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:05:29 Waking up? It sounds like, du-da-da-da-do. It wakes you up. But people say it's like the best thing for your body and you see all this posts online. I think Amy does it. She talks about it. So I was like, you know what? You gave it two weeks, though.
Starting point is 00:05:40 So I gave it two weeks. And then when you get out, you're freezing. Because it's cold outside. The cold shower, it's not very pleasant. I won't do that. That sounds terrible. What's the benefit? I love it.
Starting point is 00:05:50 It just makes me feel good. I know there's health benefits that we could cover, but for me, I just love how it makes me wake up. I mean, who doesn't want that? And then lunchbox is cold because he's riding his bike for, because it's just cold all the time. That's what I'm saying, but it gives you like a heart attack. Your heart is going do, do, do, do, do, do.
Starting point is 00:06:06 I like a good hot shower. I like mine a little too hot shower. I get in, like, ah, and I got to, you know, like in my bath, I like to touch it.
Starting point is 00:06:12 That's not good for your skin. Then I got to slowly be like, I got to get under it. I got to, ah, and then I go, oh, ah,
Starting point is 00:06:17 ha, ha. Yeah. Oh, okay, there it is. Oh, my God. Oh, wow, and I get back out again. Then I get out again.
Starting point is 00:06:23 Then I get in it. I like it's a little too high. Okay. All right. Thank you, Lunchbox. She's not sure if she's more nervous for her first live podcast event
Starting point is 00:06:32 or to watch Terrifier 2, the scary movie. Here she is. Amy, everybody. Well, I feel like I'm officially a really, really cool mom. Always been pretty cool, but I elevated because I let my daughter go to Lizzo on a school night without me. With another mom? No, our friend Brittany Spencer had tickets.
Starting point is 00:06:52 Oh, an adult. An adult, yeah. And someone that... I heard about two 15-year-old who's just going. I was like, fine, I'm not that cool mom and bad mom. But they're spending more time together, which I think is great. and I was not invited. So Brittany had one extra ticket.
Starting point is 00:07:08 She called to invites to Shira, and it was a school night. But I said yes, and you can better believe that I'm going to bring it up all the time. That you're cool. I know. Remember that time I let you go to Lizzo on a school night? You know, if she's acting up. Remember what I let you do? I'm sure that's going to work.
Starting point is 00:07:24 She doesn't really act up. So how late do they stay out? Oh, probably like 11 or later. I was asleep. I don't know. And so how was she at school? Cold night food, too. Yeah, well, fine, so far.
Starting point is 00:07:37 But I feel like with kids, the sleepiness comes later. Two days later. Yes. So I'll get the report from today to see what it's really like. All right. Thank you very much. From Mountain Pine, Arkansas. He's in the Radio Hall of Fame.
Starting point is 00:07:48 So it's cringe when people mess up his name. Bobby Bones. Thank you very much, everybody. Thank you very much. Well, Raimundo told me and Eddie and Mike D that we're all going to die in a crash. And so he came on my football show. 25 whistles and said, hey, I know Jerry Jones, the Cowboys owner invited you to fly in his chopper with him to the game,
Starting point is 00:08:08 but I don't trust it and I would never get in a helicopter because they're very unsafe. This is what he's saying does. Here's a clip of Ramundo from our show. The way it was explained to me is you're in a Southwest plane. There's backup engines. There's two engines. Helicopter, there's no backup. Wing goes down, wing down. Plane down.
Starting point is 00:08:24 Birds as well. They can also stop to reduce. Why are you saying more things that can kill us? Because that's how it's been said to me. All it would take is one bird and the thing goes down. So one bird in the helicopter crashes and we all die? Wow. What do you know about that?
Starting point is 00:08:35 I mean, I know that the physics of a helicopter are not the same as an airplane. Like an airplane, you can turn it into a bird and you can glide so that you're more likely to be able to land in some way, shape, or form. But Ray's not wrong. A helicopter, you just down. Yeah. Helicopter down. Down. Dush.
Starting point is 00:08:53 Yeah, there's no gliding happening. Bobby go bye-bye. I mean, Bobby, you've ridden in helicopters, though. Yeah, many. And I talked to Ray. I hated it. I hated it. I mean, Blake's was nice, and we stayed low,
Starting point is 00:09:05 because I flew from Blake Shelton's house to the airport once. No big deal. That's crazy. Yeah. But then I've done some adventure shows, and it's always like they're hanging me off of it. So it's not good. But they say, well, we're going to fly in the copter
Starting point is 00:09:16 with two saffron aerial, 2E turbo shaft engines. Two engines. Oh, great. It's also designed for a single engine flight in case one goes out. It's a very capable system. The Cowboys spared no expense in choosing every available safety option. Okay. Well, there you go.
Starting point is 00:09:32 So if, when we get to fly with Jerry Jones, because as of right now, we're still going to the Cowboys game in December. We're going to be in the safest helicopter known to man. That's good. This will be a very morbid segment, though, if we do happen to. I know. You can always play this back. At the funeral.
Starting point is 00:09:44 I don't like that we're actually even putting that out into the universe. And then we talked about who makes the article. Jerry Jones dies. Does generic radio guy make it? Bobby Bones? Bobby Bones makes it. What about Eddie? Bobby Bones and two of his producers.
Starting point is 00:09:59 Yeah. Oh, dang. Dang, dang. It would for sure be Jerry and Bobby, right? Right. I wonder if I would even be mentioned in it. Oh, yeah. And then in the local news, you guys would get your names.
Starting point is 00:10:09 Yes, that'd be cool. Mailbag time. Let's go. You send an email and we read it on the air. It's something we call Bobby's Mailbag. Hello, Bobby Bones. Love your show. It's my go-to when I'm on the road.
Starting point is 00:10:23 I have a situation. I'd love your opinion. I often go to lunch with a work friend. She never has money when it's her time to pay. Of course I cover her bill with the expectation that she will pay me back once we return to work. In fact, she will just say, I'll pay you sometime soon. It never happens. At first I thought she just absentminded, but after several times, I'm now wondering if I'm being taken advantage of. How should I handle this?
Starting point is 00:10:48 I don't want to lose a friend over a few dollars, but geez, signed, show me the money. You got two options here. Option number one is you understand that that's what this friend does. And you're going to be friends and she just ain't going to have money when it's time to eat. And your role as part of the friendship is buying her lunch. Now, you can understand that because I think we all accept each other at times, even where we lack. And this just might be where she lacks. She could be a great—I couldn't do that.
Starting point is 00:11:16 I'm just telling you, I couldn't do that. But that is an option for her to be that friend. Maybe she has something else she provides in a wonderful way, and it works. Option one is no. When you pay for her, you ain't getting the money back. It's like loaning a friend or family money. Okay? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:30 Option two is you just request it on Venmo. Because it's so much easier now to ask for money without actually going, hey, can I'm a money back? It's a button. If you have the Venmo app, which a lot of us do, if you have, and there's a few of them, Zale, Zeeley. Zeeley, yeah. PayPal. Cash app.
Starting point is 00:11:48 Cash app. There's all of these. Yeah, I don't know. That's one I don't have is Zale. So you can actually go to it and go request $12. Whatever it is for lunch to get your half. And boom, there you go. And then if she doesn't pay that, then you just know she's never going to pay it.
Starting point is 00:12:02 Then you got to go back to one or back to zero, which is cut her from your life. Kind of those two options. Or then, of course, there's the parentheses option. Just go, yo, where's my money? And then when you walk out the back door, whack on the head. Oh, dang. Teach her or less. Hey, break her kneecaps.
Starting point is 00:12:17 Have her swim with the fishies. You know what I'm saying? So I think the answer is understanding. And two, you know, we're in a technological world now where it's not as uncomfortable to ask for money because you can just go, but do you have for five bucks, 12 bucks, 15 bucks, you know? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:31 That's why I'd say. What you say? I agree. She's probably just absent-minded. Not every time. Well, I want to give her that. Because every once in a while you'd pay too. That's true.
Starting point is 00:12:42 Yeah, I'm saying you're absent-minded, but even then you still every once in a while paid. I mean, I speak as someone that's forgotten my wallet. A lot. Yeah. But not on purpose. No, and now that there is Venmo. I mean, years ago we didn't have that,
Starting point is 00:12:53 so I probably didn't pay you back right away. Yeah, I know I keep a tab. $790. We're on running out. Yeah, I guess, yeah, the VINMO thing or whatever it works for me. Thank you for the email. Email us anytime. Morgan, what's that address?
Starting point is 00:13:05 Mailbag at Bobbybones.com. All right, close it up. We've got your email and we read it on the air. Now it's about to close Bobby's Mailbag. Yeah. All right, this is juicy. All right, Morgan, what happened? So years ago, I had some white boots basically disappear after I let an old friend borrow them.
Starting point is 00:13:26 And when I moved to now, I was like, you know what? I'm probably never going to see these again. Thought maybe she returned him, I lost him and just didn't think much about it. But literally, yesterday I was on Instagram, this girl is wearing the white boots. She still has them. That was a long time ago. Years.
Starting point is 00:13:43 But you didn't know if she gave them back or not. You just thought you lost them. Yeah, and I just kind of let it go. And I was like, you know, maybe I just. Are you sure those are yours? Positive. They're old school style. They're cowboy boots.
Starting point is 00:13:54 They're not like the new version of white boots. They're old school white cowboy boots. And they're relatively cheap. They're not super expensive. And so that's why when I thought I lost it, I was like, well, you know, maybe I'll find some others. But I never found any like those. In a perfect world, would you have them back? Yes.
Starting point is 00:14:08 Would you still wear them? Yes. White boots are like really trendy right now. Okay. So what would you do, guys, if you saw your friend wearing something they borrowed from you? How many years has it been? Exactly. Well, it was before I moved to Nashville, so at least six.
Starting point is 00:14:22 Okay. Does that matter? Does that matter? A little bit for me But I guess I would still want to send a message Be like, oh my gosh, I've been looking for those boots So funny, you still have them Yeah, I think so
Starting point is 00:14:36 Especially if I've been looking for six years To find something similar and I never did Would you say like, hey, idiot Those are my boots? Or would you be like, oh, no You still have them. Thanks for taking care of them for me. Yeah. Oh, even that comes off in a little weird
Starting point is 00:14:49 That's aggressive. I don't know that I'd say, thanks for being What would you say though, honestly? Okay, I think I would just be like, oh my gosh, I totally forgot about those boots. Can I have them back? Weird. Lunchbox, what would you do?
Starting point is 00:15:01 You comment on the picture. Oh, my boots still look good on you. Oh, that's even more passive. Well, that's what I'm saying. And she'll get the hint. And then you DM and say, I need my boots back. All that,
Starting point is 00:15:11 but that's a little, that's a little aggressive. Yeah. Like, don't you, Amy seems like she wants to be nice. It just ended awkward. Yeah. Because obviously Morgan and her aren't really that good of friends still. And so you don't need to be nice
Starting point is 00:15:21 and patty cake and, you know, powder puff. You know, you can just go straight to, it. Paddy cake powder puff. Eddie you? I think it's easy. You just DM them and be like, hey, you still have my boots. That's crazy. Can I have those back? I mean, straight to the point. I've been looking for those forever. No, you said comment lunchbox and start there than DM. Have you said anything yet? I haven't. Are you going to say anything? I don't know. I'm really nervous. We still follow each other, but lunchbox is right. We're not like friends anymore. We
Starting point is 00:15:46 were friends in high school and that was about it. I'd like to propose a game to you. Oh gosh. I have a dice here. Oh, I like the dice game. Whatever number. it lands on gets to write the DM for you. Okay. The person? Yes. I love it. I'm one.
Starting point is 00:16:01 Your two. Lunchbox is three. Eddie's four. Okay. I feel like three out of the fours is good. Ray is five. And then it goes back again, six, seven, eight, nine, ten.
Starting point is 00:16:09 Okay. And whomever it lands on gets to write the DM. Now, don't do anything just to be crazy. Like write it as you would say it. Like you just said. Yeah. I would comment first and then DM. I need my boots back.
Starting point is 00:16:21 Are you okay with this morning? I mean, yeah, that's fine. Okay. Oh, come. on three or eight. The number is. Oh, no. Yes. Yes. Yes. Come on. Come on. Is it three or eight? It's three. Yeah. So this includes the comment. Yeah. Oh, my goodness. Okay.
Starting point is 00:16:42 My boots look great on you still. Yeah. Oh, no. Morgan, I'm sorry. Yeah, this is bad. Yeah, it's bad. So at some point today. Yeah. Yeah. What do you mean? Feel bad? She stole it. She stole foods. She maybe didn't. Maybe she didn't know. Yes, she did. I did that to Bobby one time. She knew.
Starting point is 00:17:04 I've done it. That's funny too. You say it like that. I mean, I did it a long time ago. Yeah, okay, lunchbox, well, it's all in your hands. All right. Pass over that Instagram. Morgan, I'm too.
Starting point is 00:17:13 I will, absolutely. And we'll check back in a day or two. Man, she's going to, what if she just blocks us? It's good for the air, not good for Morgan. It's time for the good news. With producer Eddie. Say, tell me something good. Jason Polly of Florida.
Starting point is 00:17:30 He owns a company called Roof EZ. And since Hurricane Ian hit, he's been really, really busy. I'm talking like 50 houses that he works on a day with his company. So he was like, while he was doing all that, he noticed that like three houses that he was working on didn't have means to pay it, no insurance. And they had to stop working on it. It's like, this isn't good for them.
Starting point is 00:17:48 So he partnered with two other companies that say, is there any way that we can work on these three houses for free and not charge him? And they said, absolutely, let's do it. So these three houses got free service, a new roof, and all thanks to his company and two other ones. That's cool. We're probably taking stuff that, like extra stuff from the houses that they're working on that they're already paid for. And I would imagine the people have paid for them already.
Starting point is 00:18:09 This is what's going to take. There's leftover. They're already bought. You just take it over. It's just a little bit of time. And if you have three companies split in the time, that's awesome. A great idea and extra effort. We used to go.
Starting point is 00:18:20 And so when I was roofing houses, and for a long time, I didn't get to roof. I just did clean up. But when there's a storm, a hail storm, a tornado. You drive to these towns or these areas in different parts of the state or even a state over because they need as many roofers as possible. And it's just like bid-palooza. They're just taking bid, putting bids in on houses. Yeah. And you're just working.
Starting point is 00:18:38 And you know, in the summer, especially because it wasn't in school, we would drive down to northern Alabama or north part of Texas when there'd be a storm and do as much as you could every day. Boom, next job. Next job. Yeah, I bet these guys are really busy right now. Yeah, where the natural disaster comes in. Yep. Eddie, that's a great story. good for them. Say their name, what, easy roofing?
Starting point is 00:18:59 It's roof easy is the company, and they're out of Cape Coral, Florida. All right. Big shout out to those guys. That is what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good. From 1978, I'm going to play a theme song here. See if you know this theme song. Go ahead. Yes. Unsolved mystery. Halloween. Something scary.
Starting point is 00:19:17 So we have a something theory. An unsolved mysteries. And Halloween. Now that he says Halloween, I think he's right. Yeah, it's Halloween. Yes. So Halloween, 15 years after After murdering his sister on October 31st, 1963, this psychopath escapes from a mental hospital and returns to the small town of Haddonfield, Illinois, to kill again. That's what Halloween's about.
Starting point is 00:19:36 Mike Myers. Legit. Oh, okay. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to play a scary movie theme song. You have to name the movie. Oh, man. I'm going to bring on Taylor, who's on the phone right now. Hey, Taylor, good morning to you.
Starting point is 00:19:49 Good morning. How are you? I'm doing pretty good. Now, Amy, Lunchbox, and Eddie are here, and I'm going to give them five movie theme songs. to scary movies. You need one of them to get four of the five. Which one are you going with? You're going with Amy Lunchbox ready? Who you teamed up with? Oh, gosh.
Starting point is 00:20:07 I am going to go with Eddie. Okay. Eddie, you got to get four or five or she loses? Hey, I don't really watch scary movies. You get four or five or she dies. Oh! That's not nice. But it's scary. Yeah, that adds the pressure. Then what she doesn't know? Someone right now grabbed her.
Starting point is 00:20:24 We had the whole thing set up. It's not there anymore. Okay, number one. From 1975, named this scary movie theme. Eddie, can you name it? Ooh, yes, of course. That's Jaws. Jaws is correct. Next job, that's one of one. That's one of one.
Starting point is 00:20:48 We're feeling pretty good. Number two, named this movie theme. Eddie? You said the year on this? Nope. Friday the 13th. Or is it psycho? It's stabbing.
Starting point is 00:21:08 Your answer was Friday the 13th? There's stabbing going on right here. That answer is wrong. Oh, it's psycho. It's psycho. You know the theme of psycho? What's about? No.
Starting point is 00:21:18 So old. What? Yeah, yeah. It's a lady who's like running away from something. She stays in a motel and the guy that runs the motel is psycho. Yeah, kind of. A Phoenix secretary embezzles $40,000, goes on the run and checks into a remote motel run by a young man under the domination of his mother. Norman Bates.
Starting point is 00:21:38 No idea. I don't watch scary movies. That's a good movie. Eddie, you can't miss another one. Dang it. Or she dies. Or she dies. Taylor dies.
Starting point is 00:21:47 Wouldn't that be a crazy scary movie? where you call into a radio show and it's a contest. And it's like, oh, she's on the phone right now. All she has to do is get whatever or she dies. And what she doesn't know is somebody has grabbed her as it's happening. And she's on the phone. Tell me this isn't. That's a great movie.
Starting point is 00:22:03 And so she's playing the game with these people. And every time or like saw every time she misses one, they chop off a finger. All right. We're going to edit this out so we can make it. Tell me that ain't it. We got cameras. Run. Taylor.
Starting point is 00:22:14 What does Taylor think about that idea? Hang up. I'm nowhere to run too. Okay. Eddie, don't miss another one. Come on, come on. Name this movie theme. Give me Nightmare on Elm Street.
Starting point is 00:22:43 I heard you going to the one, two, Freddy's coming for you. Good job. That is what that is, Nightmare on Elm Street. Yeah. You know what really gave it away? The 80s synthesizer. Next up, you got to get two for two here. Come on, come on, come on, come on.
Starting point is 00:22:58 Hit this. Sounds like a karate kid. Wax on Get back in there Huh I mean it's definitely 80s If you want to use a lifeline You can go to lunchbox only
Starting point is 00:23:21 I would like to use a lifeline But you have to go with his answer Regardless Oh I do So you can go with yours Or if you pass it fully over The lunchbox You have to use his answer
Starting point is 00:23:29 Man I don't know I'm guessing But I'd rather lay All the stress on lunchbox So lunchbox What would you have guessed? Friday 13th Friday 13th
Starting point is 00:23:38 You just Okay got it I have no idea No, no, you have to guess. I know. I know I got a guess, but you came to me, dude. No idea. So, Taylor, I'm sorry, but you're about to die.
Starting point is 00:23:50 What'd you say? I said, sorry, Taylor, you're about to die. Yeah, yeah, I thought that's what you said. What would you like to guess, though? You get any guess. I would go with the Shining. Close. Close.
Starting point is 00:24:04 What is it? Well, it's the Exorcist. Oh, man. Yeah. So I would have gotten it wrong anyway, so that I don't feel too bad. Dang, I knew it. One of those... So is Taylor dead yet?
Starting point is 00:24:14 Yeah, she's dead. Let's see if you're sitting here breathing. Taylor? I'm still alive. Oh, okay, okay, okay, okay. Bonus question! Yeah! Lunchbox.
Starting point is 00:24:22 Okay. For the win for Taylor. Yeah. Name this one. Feel good? It's like comedy almost. It doesn't like three stooges a little bit. Why, I ought to...
Starting point is 00:24:48 That, that is not, that is not the stuff, just so you know. That's Jason. The answer is? It's Jason. Borhe's. What the heck is it's called? Five seconds? Jason Borges.
Starting point is 00:25:06 He's got the mask. What is it called? Answer? Come on, much of us. We start killing each other now. It's Jason Borhees. What is it called? Friday of 13.
Starting point is 00:25:16 And that would have been what it was. I couldn't. One more bonus. All right, Amy. Goodness, I went blank. Name this one. What scary movie theme is that? I mean, that's what it is.
Starting point is 00:25:38 A radio show. call in and if they don't win they die. That's so cool. And it's maybe not just one caller. They have no idea. But anytime they call in and then one caller, he's like a, what they call a prize pig, he's trying to get in, but he also knows if he can get in, he can beat the system.
Starting point is 00:25:53 He's trying to shut it all down. This is almost like squid game. Yeah. Do we see the caller getting murdered or do we just hear them get murdered? It's like chairfire too. They've ripped their body parts off. Do we have to find a sponsor for a bit? Are you going to answer your question? She's filibustering.
Starting point is 00:26:11 What's a sponsor for a scary movie? For a segment. It? Incorrect. That's all. I've tried everything out. I guess I don't know what to do here. These are hard.
Starting point is 00:26:22 I think you know what you should do. Bonus question! You guys have all played. Okay, one final one. If anybody can name this one, you win. Ray, give me number eight. Alfred Hitchock. Incorrect.
Starting point is 00:26:38 Amy, Amy. You guys go? You guys can go. I can go. I can think. No, no, Amy. You're right. It's a...
Starting point is 00:26:44 Alper Hitchcock's not a movie, though. He's a director. Huh? I thought it was. TV show. Flew over the Cucco's Nest. Flew over the Cucco's Nest is incorrect. Dang it.
Starting point is 00:26:53 I got it. That's the shining. That's correct. Oh! She's a lot! It's not Cucco's Nest. It's not Hitchcock, but it is the shining. Taylor, you win.
Starting point is 00:27:04 Yay! You don't die. She lives. She lives again. All right, we're going to give Taylor a sonic gift card for $50. That is correct. Thank you, Taylor, for listening to the show. Good job. Well, medium job.
Starting point is 00:27:17 Hey, we got it, though. Yeah, we did it. All 10 fingers and a foot. But she didn't die. Okay, there you go. H-E-L-P.com slash Bobby. Betterhelp.com slash Bobby. Here's a voicemail from Natasha in Austin. I had a question for Bobby.
Starting point is 00:31:39 This weekend, I went to see Amy Schumer, and they made you put your Apple Watch and your phone in this yonder pouch that was locked up until the end of the show. And I was just wondering if Bobby, when you have shows, if you've thought about doing something like that for it to be a totally phones-free experience. Thank you for your question. Yes, I request no phones at my shows. Not for phones-free experience, because I love a phone. but so nobody records it. I mean, same thing that Amy Schumer does. She doesn't want people record in her show
Starting point is 00:32:12 because they put it out and maybe she's saving it for a special. Maybe she's not done working on material. They tour so they can practice stuff and then they record it as a special. And, you know, if you're touring and you're practicing, you mess it up a lot trying to figure out where it's right.
Starting point is 00:32:26 And so they don't want those messups on the internet because it looks bad on them. And you don't see every practice rep from Tom Brady on the internet. We just see the game. You see the game for the most part. So that's what that is. And so they go no phones.
Starting point is 00:32:37 The difference in Amy Schumer and myself is her. She has wild success, and I don't. But also, she pays for the pouches to put them in. She either buys them or rinse them and you put in a pouch, you seal it so you can't have it. Me, I just go, please don't do it. Because I don't have the money to pay for the pouch. Please put your phone away. Please just promise me, you won't record it.
Starting point is 00:32:53 But that's what it's about. And people are mostly respectful of that. You know, we have a big sign out that goes, please don't use your phone. Please. Thank you for that call. I appreciate that. I want to go to Brad first, and Brad lives in Mobile. Alabama. And the topic is Amy going to this movie called Terrifier 2, which the movie is so
Starting point is 00:33:15 gory and so scary that people are passing out in theaters. And throwing out. Amy lost. And she put herself up. She goes, I'll accept the money. I'll be part of the game. She lost the game. Now she has to go watch the movie. And so she has to go. And we're talking about, is she going to take her daughter, who's 15? Because you don't want your daughter to go, but she will not stop. She wants to go badly. Yeah, she wants to go. All right. So what is your question there, Brad, about this?
Starting point is 00:33:34 Well, I was wanting to know, first thing, hey, Bobby. Good morning. Morning. Amy, are you going to take your daughter? I don't know yet. She is certainly begging me, and I'm split, and then the internet is split, or listeners are split, because I feel like half of them are like, take them, I'm taking my kids, blah, blah, blah. And the other half is like, you're the worst parent in the world if you take your kids.
Starting point is 00:33:55 Isn't that just general to anything? I don't know what to do. Wouldn't the same thing be said about a trampoline park? Yes. You should take them. You're the worst parent ever. I think that's anything parenting. You know, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:34:03 But you understand that there's a week left. When are you planning to go to this movie? Yeah, I know. Working on that. Nothing yet? Yeah. Okay. I'll get it done.
Starting point is 00:34:13 Don't worry. It's two and a half hours. Long. Oh, yeah, yeah. Brad, so she doesn't know yet, but I appreciate you calling and asking because I didn't know either. What do you think? I think you should not take her. Oh, I thought you were going to say the opposite.
Starting point is 00:34:29 Because there's parts in Terrifire One that she just should not see. Oh, you've seen Terrifire One. I watch insanity. Yeah, and? Stuff like that, don't gross me out. I don't get scared. It's up there with faces of the death if you watch those movies. Way back in the day.
Starting point is 00:34:46 I remember those? The Death was real. That was real footage, man. That was real stuff. Yeah, yeah. Isn't this a clown, Brad? Yeah, he was creepy, but he's, you know, cheesy. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:57 All right. See, I feel like my daughter will know right away. This is so fake. Like, that's what she loves about it, is how fake it looks, and it doesn't phase her. I think you'll end up taking her. That's what I think. Do you guys think that?
Starting point is 00:35:09 I think she's going. I think she's going too. You want to pay me? Or put money on it? No, because then you won't do it because we're betting you. Yeah, why would... How would I bet you with something
Starting point is 00:35:17 that you could control the outcome? I feel like everybody else in this show gets paid money to do things. You did. You got paid to be on the will and you lost. But extra money to take her. Brad, thank you for the call, buddy. All right.
Starting point is 00:35:27 I tell my wife, hello. Yeah, what's her name? Heather. How long you've been married to Heather? 30 years. Wow. That's awesome. What's the secret there, Brad?
Starting point is 00:35:35 I've been married a little over a year, Brad. What's the secret? Just don't care. Don't care about what. I don't know, Brad. Tell me more about that. Yeah, the more you care, the more you got to do. Care about what, Brad?
Starting point is 00:35:47 Talk to me in specifics here. Care about what? I mean, anything, really? I mean, I care, but I don't care. But if I go home, like, how do I not care? What am I caring about that I need to stop caring about? If she wants to do something, say, okay, go. Don't care.
Starting point is 00:36:03 Don't care. If I go somewhere, she don't care. That's not true. I kind of like his attitude. So you all just keep expectations super low in your relationship. I mean, she don't call me when I'm out fishing. She don't call me when I'm working. I drive a truck.
Starting point is 00:36:20 I talk to her in the morning. Call it when I'm getting in my personal truck going home. She ain't the one that calls and says, hey, what are you doing? Where are you at? Who you with? You went to who you with. That ain't something like we care about. She don't care.
Starting point is 00:36:33 She don't care. But you've been together 30 years, so you probably have all that trust, and you probably talked about pretty much everything at this point, right? Pretty much. Yeah. What's the best thing about her?
Starting point is 00:36:41 She's from Louisiana. Oh, yeah. Yeah. She was what? What did she say? Yeah, she was in. Yeah. Oh, never heard that before.
Starting point is 00:36:49 I'm from Arkansas. You know exactly what he was saying. Yeah, of course. That's Hillbell and Hillbill and Crime pretty much. He'll be on Cage and crime. She's a good girl, too. Yeah. What's her favorite thing about you?
Starting point is 00:36:58 Probably messing. That you don't care? I drive a truck. up, make money. Yeah. But I don't care. Brad, I appreciate the call, and it's been fun talking to you, and hope you have an awesome rest of the week, man.
Starting point is 00:37:13 Thank you for listening. All right, Bobber. All right, see you, buddy. All right, later. Maddie and Tay, die from a broken heart. Big shout out to Brad. Yeah, good call. I'm a guy there.
Starting point is 00:37:23 I'm going to stop caring. Yeah, y'all see how that works out for you. I can't wait. Yeah, I think it's about 15 years in. You can do that. Report back. Right now, I can't. Bones. Here's Gwen and Jesse on the voicemail line with a morning corny.
Starting point is 00:37:35 What is the difference between a school teacher and a train? The teacher says spit out your gum and the train says, chute, chute, chew. That was my son. He wanted to share a joke with Amy. We are in Crosstville, Tennessee and listen from 7 to 7.30 every morning on our way to school. Thanks. It's pretty good. Yeah. Thanks for calling to sharing that with us. This is Lindsay in Cincinnati. Maddie. I am driving, listening to your Bobby cast with Rita Wilson, and I'm crying. It is just a phenomenal interview. Thank you for putting stuff like this out into the world.
Starting point is 00:38:12 Very well done. Yeah, thank you. You know, Rita Wilson, I didn't know what to expect. She's a big Hollywood superstar. Movies, big TV shows. I know she's a really good singer. Her passion is singing, country music. But she came over, and, man, she was so vulnerable and so generous with her stories
Starting point is 00:38:28 and how her dad was putting a labor camp and escaped and go check it out. I do a interview series called The Bobbycast and Rita Wilson is one of the last guests on there. Check it out. Appreciate that. Here's Amy's pile of stories. So Ben Hansen, pretty sure we've talked about him before, he's a former FBI agent and he's the host of Discovery Show UFO Witness. And he says that he has heard from dozens of pilots the last two months that are seeing
Starting point is 00:38:55 UFOs over the Pacific Ocean. And he has air traffic control recordings, footage. And he says a lot of pilots come to him, but then they don't want to be known or they don't want to speak up because they're going to be ridiculed. They'll be the crazy pilot that saw an alien. Of course you don't want to. Eddie's brother saw an alien once.
Starting point is 00:39:12 Yeah, but he was drinking, he said. Oh. He saw it twice. And both stories start with, man, I was having a couple beers. And I look up. Yeah, he saw the aliens. So these pilots, I have a couple theories. I have three theories.
Starting point is 00:39:22 Would you like to hear them? Yes. Theory number one. They're doing military test exercises over the president. Pacific Ocean. Yeah. That's for, I like that one.
Starting point is 00:39:30 And these pilots, they don't know that that's what's happening. Because there are pilots of Southwest and Hawaiian Airlines to be specific. Why is a Southwest pilot
Starting point is 00:39:37 over the Pacific Ocean? They fly to Hawaii now. Okay, there you go. Good, good deal. Number two, the aliens actually live under the water and they come up
Starting point is 00:39:46 like it often. We always go aliens are up. We don't even know what's down there. I've said it many times. There's a point in the ocean where we have no idea what happens. We have no idea how deep it goes.
Starting point is 00:39:55 We have no idea what's down there after a certain level. We cannot get down there. So for us to go, well, we know what's down there, but we've never been, we have no idea. You can't do it. That's my second theory. Wow.
Starting point is 00:40:05 Okay? The third theory is Eddie's brother flies his planes. After a couple beers. Yeah, and that's who keeps calling the guy. So let me know which one of those you like. There's a mom of three from Texas who was following an influencer on Instagram. Well, that influencer got diagnosed with breast cancer at 28 years old. Well, it made Carly interested to, you know, try to do a self-exam and see what was going on with her.
Starting point is 00:40:25 Because of that influencer, Carly found a cyst, which later she found out was actually breast cancer. So you're telling me not all influencers are just selling tummy tea. That is what I'm telling you. Or fan, fab, fun packs or whatever those are. Fun, fun, yeah, yeah, yeah. Good for her. Good for the influence of for doing that too. Yes. And Bobby, you and Kenny Chesney now have something in common, and it's a pretty big deal.
Starting point is 00:40:50 Yeah, we're both country superstars. No? No, no, no. He's an honorary doctorate. Or he got one. Dr. Kenny and Dr. Bobby. Yeah, he was given this certificate or acknowledgement. No, no, don't do, don't be lunchbox.
Starting point is 00:41:06 No, I'm trying to do. He was given a degree. It's an honorary doctorate. It's a doctorate of letters, which is what mine is. And so it wasn't a certificate. Oh, okay. Well, a diploma. He didn't read all the books this month for book it and get a personal fan pizza.
Starting point is 00:41:19 Yes, he got a diploma. It was from East Tennessee State University, which he did get an undergraduate degree from there, but they brought him back a couple of days ago and had the whole ceremony. So a pretty cool moment for him. There are two versions of Kenny I like. There used to just be one, which was Emo Kinney. I don't like to care that much about Beach Kinney because I don't like the beach that never grew up by the beach. Never went to vacation to the beach. Yeah. Not for me. I like like a cowboy hat Kenny. That's formal Kinney. Villain Kinney. Is he wanted the black cowboy hat? That was Amy's pile of stories. It's time for the good news.
Starting point is 00:41:52 With lunchbox. There was a group of 16 Boy Scouts from El Paso, Texas, and they're nine adult chaperones. You know, the guys that dress up in the full garb, and they're going to go for a hike in New Mexico. And they're out hiking. All of a sudden, some bad weather comes in, pouring down rain, and they get stranded because of the high waters.
Starting point is 00:42:14 They can't get out. For two days, they're stranded. So they have to bring in a helicopter, and they're like, oh, National Guard, we're going to land the helicopter. Weather's too bad. So they had to lower the rope. and one by one, zoop,
Starting point is 00:42:27 get all of them out of there. That's crazy. You're stranded anywhere for two days, but imagine that. Oh, man. And the elements. Yeah. People that, like,
Starting point is 00:42:36 fall into cliffs and are stuck and don't know if anyone's ever coming to get them. That's like a nightmare type of thing. Yeah, at least they had other people with them, you know, they weren't all alone. At least they had their adults in the uniforms. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:42:46 What do you say? I was hiking a couple weeks ago, and I was just thinking, like, I heard a helicopter fly over. You're going to compare you. Listen, here we go. I told my family. I'm like, in this crazy?
Starting point is 00:42:55 Like, some people get stranded in the woods and they hear a helicopter and there's no way to get their attention. Like, if you're looking for someone to save you, that's got to be the hardest feeling of like, hey, hey, here we are, but they can't see you. Oh, I thought about that when I heard that helicopter. That's a cool story, bro. Hey, um, there's... I thought about, like, stuff like this. Hey, man, I was walking down the street the other day. What did you think about?
Starting point is 00:43:18 And there was a helicopter going over and I was like, man, if I need to get their attention, there's no way I can do it. Like I was just like, I'd just be stuck here on the sidewalk. That's what he thought about too. You're making fun of me, but I was actually hiking in the woods. No, I was actually hiking on the sidewalk. Okay. Dang. Tough hike. Yeah. I'm looking at the picture of these Boy Scouts.
Starting point is 00:43:34 You know, there comes a time if you're in a group and this happens, you have to start wondering. All right, who we eat and first. You figure which one? I think they ate. You got to eat the bigger one first, right? No, it's whoever dies naturally first. Unless the bigger one's strong.
Starting point is 00:43:49 Because you have to think if the world ends, there are two types of people that are going to dominate. really strong and really smart. And that's it. And it works down both ways. So you need really strong and really smart. If they're really strong and really smart, good luck. But my question is...
Starting point is 00:44:03 Boy Scouts dining on everybody. If you're one of the chaperones, do you volunteer that they can eat you when it gets out of that point? What are you talking about? Guys, you eat whoever dies naturally first. If no one dies first, do you say, you know what I mean? To say, you don't kill anybody.
Starting point is 00:44:18 Yeah, die naturally by that rock upside the head. There's no natural. What's natural whenever you're trapped? is to live. Yeah, Miracle in the Andes. How did this happen on this segment? I don't know, guys. Tell me something good.
Starting point is 00:44:28 Everybody, there it is. Good stuff. That was Tell Me Something Good. Let's go over and talk to Madeline, who's on the phone right now. I was actually just driving home and I was listening to Thursday's podcast. And I was wondering, is there an update on Amy's daughter and her and your offer for the costume? I can tell you what happened on my end. So a few weeks ago, Amy said my daughter wants to be a pirate, but they were
Starting point is 00:44:53 wear a corset, not going to wear a corset. I said, okay, well, let me talk to her as an ally. So we found a costume. That's pretty cool, but it wasn't so adult. No, it was adult, but it wasn't like corset and skin. Yeah, and to clarify, pirates don't have to wear a corset. She was just... You don't know the pirate rules.
Starting point is 00:45:08 Well, she was just fixated on it. I bet you pirates need more clothes. I have, like, a necklace and a sword, you know? But, so I said, okay, Amy's daughter says, just she wear this one. This is a cool one. I go to her as an ally, not her mom, her friend. And she goes, no, that one's stupid. And basically we go back and forth and I'm like, I'll buy it for you.
Starting point is 00:45:27 And then she's like, nah. What about a Power Ranger? She goes, no, my brother would do that, not me. Then I said, send me whatever you want to wear. And she sends me some dress and it's called sexy V-neck, long baggy. Does that talk about this? I think so. I think maybe you told her anything with the word sexy doesn't work.
Starting point is 00:45:44 But she's not paying attention to that. You can't wear anything that says sexy in the title. Even go find this same thing that's described not what the word sexy. Right. It's all about how you're presenting it. And then she goes, we already ordered another dress. Never mind. I don't know what that means.
Starting point is 00:46:00 Well, it means that we ordered another dress, but it came in and it doesn't fit. We have no resolution yet. We are still on the struggle bus. It is a problem, and we need to solve it. Are you doing a pirate by any meat? Any pirate at all? We're working on the pirate. I compromised on a corset belt.
Starting point is 00:46:17 Maybe she builds a boat around her when she walks. Yes. So it covers her. I tried to talk to her about, you know, baggy pants, sort of like MC Hammerpants. Those look pirate-ish to me. No, she doesn't want to do that. But with the corset belt, I feel better about that. But we'll see where this goes.
Starting point is 00:46:34 I just don't even know why we're stuck on the pirate. I want to move on. She wants to win one. Yeah. You can let her win with you secretly winning, though, I feel. Yeah, that's what I did with the corset belt. She told me, we were texting about it. She texted me back about the belt when she sent me a link.
Starting point is 00:46:47 She goes, this is a huge compromise. And I was like, well, say. For both of them. I like it. Madeline, so that's where we are. Well, that's great. So it sounds better, I guess. Yeah, a little bit. A little bit. We're getting there.
Starting point is 00:46:59 TBD. Thank you, Madeline. Have a great day. Y'all too. Bye. All right. Bye-bye. All right, time now for the morning corny. The morning corny. What do ghosts wear to improve their eyesight? What a ghost where to improve their eyesight.
Starting point is 00:47:15 Spookticles. There you have it. That was the morning corny. Spookticles? No, like spectacles. No, I know I get it. You don't have to explain it to me. I'm going to put Cindy on real quick.
Starting point is 00:47:31 Hey, Cindy, we're going to play a game. I'm going to give you a chance to watch. win a $50 gift card to Sonic, but we're going to play, who did Mike D.C. at the grocery store. Now, the show will get 10 yes or no questions, and they get to ask them and try to figure out who it is. And if they get it right, Cindy, you win the gift card. Or you can say they'll get it wrong. If they get it wrong, you won the gift card. What are you doing here, Cindy? I don't know. I know. Because that, you know, everybody in this room is a knucklehead, but every once in a while, we surprise you. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, it's a tough, it's a tough game.
Starting point is 00:48:00 True. Let me ask Mike, Mike, is this a big selection? Big celebrity. A plus. There is an early clue for you guys. Early clue. An A plus celebrity Mike Salt at a grocery store. That's really famous. A plus. Now you get 10 questions and at the end you guys come together like family feud and have your answer. What do you think, Cindy? Are they going to get it? Yes or no? Yes. Okay. She says yes. You guys are representing Cindy. I agree with her. Okay. Amy, first question, yes or no? Is it a female? Yes. All right. We got a plus woman. I'm throwing out.
Starting point is 00:48:33 Yeah, me too. Okay. That Mike D. saw at the grocery store. Like, not on a picture, right? No, what's there? Okay. Lunchbox. Is she?
Starting point is 00:48:45 Because we said actor, right? We said, I don't think we said anything. No, nothing. He said celebrity. So ask that. Is she known for acting? Yes. A plus celebrity, woman.
Starting point is 00:49:01 Actor. Maybe we did say actor. That's right. Actors. Yeah, but it's a good question, though, because actors are man and... Well, that's why I'm throwing off when it said female. Boom, there you go. Am I wasting my question? No, that's good.
Starting point is 00:49:13 Eddie. Is this female actress blonde? Yes. This is good. Three? I'm in. Just kidding. Any question?
Starting point is 00:49:27 Okay. Is... Okay, okay, okay. Has she... played the role of a lawyer. That's good. Because that's who I'm thinking, Amy. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:44 Nothing comes to mind, so I will say no. What? How could it not be her? Nothing comes to mind either to me, but I don't know every single role she's ever had. She's blonde. Yeah. You know who she's thinking, Bobby?
Starting point is 00:49:54 This town. I'm not saying anything. It could be legally. I did go back and look at their roles, and lawyer did not stick out to me. Okay, thank you. Yeah, because Lwoods, that would stick out to you. Lunchbox?
Starting point is 00:50:05 Is this woman over the age of 50? I can double check. I'll look at that. You know, my... I just got the answer through text. I'm going to say no. I think no. Or write a.
Starting point is 00:50:20 Let me look. What's the answer lunchbox? Over 50. A plus. You want to know if they're over 50 years old. I'm going to say yes. You know from what you research? You know?
Starting point is 00:50:34 Okay. Over 50. Blonde. I got you guys. I got you. Okay. Yeah, five more. Go ahead, Eddie.
Starting point is 00:50:40 Is this female actress, celebrity, married to another... That he saw here in town. Yeah. Married to another celebrity. No. Hold on, let me... I'm just a fact checker here. Thank you, Bones.
Starting point is 00:50:56 You wouldn't... I mean, celebrity. I didn't say what number. You know what? Or letter. Are they known for their own celebrity or because they're married? Hold on. Hold on. I...
Starting point is 00:51:12 Yeah, no. I would say no. Yeah, no. No? That's six. Four more questions. Okay. Trying to figure out the A plus celebrity
Starting point is 00:51:24 that Mike D saw at the grocery store. It's a woman, it's an actress, over 50, not married to a celebrity. Over 50, gosh. Okay. Gosh. This is so hard.
Starting point is 00:51:42 A plus. A plus. Woman, actress, blonde, over 50. Just ask questions, guys. Does she have kids? There you go. Yes. Okay.
Starting point is 00:51:52 Seven questions down? Well, yeah, good luck. A lot of people have kids. Is she, I don't know how to say this. Dang. Is her forte movies? He doesn't know how to say this. Forte?
Starting point is 00:52:13 What are you talking about? She can't figure out if she's... Yes. Her forte is movies. What does that mean? I don't know how to say this. Is her forte? I guess not a TV.
Starting point is 00:52:22 all right. Thank you. In visual demonstration. What are you saying? Mike D. Eddie, you have two more questions. You have one and there's one more left. Okay, one more.
Starting point is 00:52:33 Okay. Is she a or has she ever been a comedian? No. You have one more question as a group. You guys can talk about what question you want to ask. Oh boy, guys. I have no idea.
Starting point is 00:52:48 I mean, I don't know. Like, I was thinking of any polar. Would it help if she lived here? Yeah. But I, but I, I can't even think of anybody. You know, everybody that lives here, you know him? No, it doesn't help.
Starting point is 00:52:59 Well, you have a question that you have. You have an idea. I'm just trying to figure out, who. Has she ever won an Academy? Best Actors Award? No, that doesn't help me. Best actors, you're going to narrow it under one award? Who do you have in mind?
Starting point is 00:53:13 Has she ever won an Academy Award? That's good. That's good. Has she ever won an Oscar? But then, who would you guess based off of knowing that? Merrill Street. Merrill Street. Her forte.
Starting point is 00:53:22 But I feel like her hair is, gray. I am. Used to be blonde. She used to be blonde. Well, we should have asked. Angelina Jolene? Her hair's black. Or brown. Has she had a movie in the last couple years? She has kids. Oh, oh.
Starting point is 00:53:39 You guys need an answer in 10 seconds. Is it Gwynet? No, you just need a question. You can ask a question. Does she have a company that sells candles that smell? Yeah. You're going to ask that specific question, but you're going to yell at lunchbox for one to ask. I have to ask that because they're wanting us not to ask that. Well, no, because she's married to someone now, but he's like...
Starting point is 00:53:58 Or do I want you to ask that? But she was married to a celebrity. Was. Was. Was, but not now. No, no. Does Gwyneth have kids? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:54:05 Gwyneth has lots of kids. Yeah, Martin. I think you should go with Gwineeth, Kowlero, guys. No, see, did he do that to throw us off, though? Yeah, that's what he does. He does do that. Not the candles. Don't ask about the candles.
Starting point is 00:54:19 Was she... Okay. Okay. Was she ever married to throw us? musician. Was she ever married to a musician? That's our final question. But does that help us? She was! Yes! We got! And what? You saw her?
Starting point is 00:54:31 She what? You don't know who it is. Yeah, I do. Who else would it be? I don't know. Guess Gwen to Poucho and see if you're right or wrong. Amy. Did he just not remember El Woods and it's Reese Witherspoon? Who's El Woods? I don't know what he remembers. Because she's married to like a guy now that's not. But Reese is younger, though. Like an agent now or something.
Starting point is 00:54:49 Is she younger? She's not 50. I don't know. Gwyneth. It's Gwyneth? 50? I'd say she's probably 50. Hey, guys. Over 50?
Starting point is 00:54:56 Yeah. No, Alicia Silverstone is not A-list. She's younger. She's already. She's already. A plus. Mm-hmm. I mean, that is not a big pool of people.
Starting point is 00:55:06 Guys, it's got to be Gwyneth. It's got to be Gwyneth. Gwenith or... So mad. Have you ever seen Gwyneth in Nashville? No. No, but she would be here. Why?
Starting point is 00:55:18 Visiting her friend. I think you should go with Gwyneth. Bachelorette party? Gwyneth. I think you should go with one. That's right party. Yeah, they were probably matching shirts. I think you should go with Gwyneth. We are.
Starting point is 00:55:28 That's what, okay, does she? Gonna go with Gwynet. Are you sure? Yes. It's Gwinnett. It is, right? It has to be. There's nobody else.
Starting point is 00:55:35 Amy, I need your team captain. Finally, you need to look at your team. Give us three multiple choices. Who do you, Gwinnon? There's no other way. Who do you think it could be? Amy, please answer. Angelina Jolie.
Starting point is 00:55:46 No, she doesn't have one. She has. Is it going to be died? She could be in a movie roll? Duh. Oh, wow. That would be. But wait.
Starting point is 00:55:54 Okay. That's aggressive. She's not married right now. Yeah. Would you like Mike to give you multiple choices? No, no, no. That's weak. Yes, that's what I want.
Starting point is 00:56:04 Guys, you guys are chomps if you want. Let's just go with our, we know. We know it. We know it's great. Is there anybody else that could be that was married to a singer that's like 50? Are you so sure that you bet money on it against me? Yes. I don't even know another celebrity that's blonde hair that is A plus.
Starting point is 00:56:21 It's 50. Charlize Theron, but she's not. Oh. She's not that old. Oh, she is. She absolutely is. She's not. I've Googled her.
Starting point is 00:56:29 You want me to tell you all to Charlize Serra? Can we Google right now? No. She's probably... I can look up how old Charis Seron is. What's her name? She's right. Charlize Seron?
Starting point is 00:56:37 Yeah. 44 maybe. I'm going to Google how old she? She's older than it. And how old's Reese? 45. Okay, guys. We need a name.
Starting point is 00:56:45 Okay, Gwen. We're going with Gwynetheth. Winnet. Wait, wait, wait. Charlie Sterron is only 47. I told you. Okay. It's gotta be Gwen, dude.
Starting point is 00:56:54 Is there any other blonde famous people? Well, you know. Well, yes. The answer that is yes. A plus, Mike. Wait, what about Kate Hudson? She's not 50. Goldie Hawn!
Starting point is 00:57:04 Oh my gosh! She's never been married. What about Sally Beale? She didn't want to marry him though. They like have agreement to just be. They were. They were? What about Kate Hudson?
Starting point is 00:57:17 But she's not 50. Wait, wait. Has Goldie ever married a music? If it was way before Kurt? Guys! Oh my God, wait, who's Kate Hudson's dad? Is that him too? Kurt Russell.
Starting point is 00:57:28 No, no, no, it's not. Is it a singer? Is it a musician? No, it's another dude. Her dad's like a rock and roll. No, he's married twice. Right. Not a musician.
Starting point is 00:57:37 But who's Kate Hudson's dad? I don't know. Jim Hudson. No, it's Bill Hudson. And her first husband was an actor, dancer, and director. Okay, guys. We're getting off track. It's got to be going to.
Starting point is 00:57:49 Yes, he's trying to get us off track. I said she should go out with Gwyneth Paltrow at the freaking grocery store. Is that your answer? Yes. Final answer. Yes. You're guessing it's Gwyneth Paltrow that he saw at the grocery store. 100%. One, percent.
Starting point is 00:58:01 Mike, what section were you in at the grocery store? The chip aisle. Oh, wow. And was this person bigger or smaller than you thought? Probably bigger. Yeah, she's tall. Like taller? Yeah, she's tall. Yeah, Gwyneth.
Starting point is 00:58:11 Yeah. I don't see her on the chip aisle. Yes, she does. No, she makes her own. She has kids. Unless she's buying, like, vegan chips. Yeah. Was it a health food store?
Starting point is 00:58:23 Yep. Oh, it's Quineth Paltrow. Wow. She wasn't at the candle aisle? And your answer is Quintra. Yes. Yes. Yes.
Starting point is 00:58:30 Mike, who did you see at the grocery store? I saw Gwyneth Paltrow. Yeah. Wow. He tried to do that to us. That's what he tried to do. Bobby. Why do you do that, this is what Bobby does?
Starting point is 00:58:43 He told you to, oh, you're going to ask the candle question. That's when he gave it away. You saw Gwyneth Paltrow. Hold on a second. Cindy, you won. We got McCalleron on, remember? Oh, my God. Okay.
Starting point is 00:58:52 Send it you on. Okay. Yeah, congratulations. So don't hang up. Make sure she holds. Mike, please tell us the story. I was walking to the chip aisle, and I saw this woman walking into with her cart. And I took me a second because she looked so normal.
Starting point is 00:59:04 And then I took a second glance, looked at my wife, and we confirmed that it was Gwyneth Paltrow. So we both walked into the chip aisle, and we're both in the Pita Chip section. And she was with her daughter. And so, do you know why she was in town? No, no idea. I have a theory. Is it a theory you like to share? I don't know if she wants her stuff out there
Starting point is 00:59:22 I believe that you don't know though right Yeah maybe her daughter goes to college here now Oh Because they're buying groceries A lot of groceries So I think maybe they were buying stuff for like her dorm or apartment or something There you have it Hold on my goodness
Starting point is 00:59:35 Eddie's like celebrity Did you say? Quit it! And I see if she responded No but I gotta say I almost quit lunchbox I wanted to talk to her I wanted to say something But then I realized she was with her daughter That's exactly it And then I was like I can't
Starting point is 00:59:47 Celebrity? Her daughter's not someone who's looking for that Apple? She's a celebrity No But her daughter's not 10. Her daughter's an adult. Mike, good job. She's not having a grocery.
Starting point is 00:59:54 Did she just have a pick? No, you can Photoshop the daughter out. Photoshop. Just edit, just cut it. That's what I mean? Photoshop. You guys are telling me Gweneth Paltrow is here in Nashville.
Starting point is 01:00:04 She was. And she's going to be here more often. You know, like drive around it? Eddie's like, hangs out of that grocery store. Did you follow him back to the college? No. How do you even think to do that? You should have waited in the parking.

Starting point is 01:03:44 with the help of American Military University. That's AMU. APUS.edu.edu slash military. There's a place called Capital Pizza in Lubbock, Texas, and they got some heat because they had something called the Dahmer special. I named after Jeffrey Dahmer. No. Oh, no.
Starting point is 01:04:03 So what was it full of meat? It featured fake fingers and eyeballs. Oh, my gosh. No, no, no, no. I saw this on TMZ. I've been to Lubbock a bunch. I like going to Lubbock. People that are awesome.
Starting point is 01:04:13 This restaurant, I don't know. I don't think people feel like this is the most awesome pizza they could order. The manager of the restaurant said that one of the employees came up with the design to display in the pizzeria because of the popularity of the Netflix show. The manager said, it's just ramen noodles, peppercini garnish with some prop body parts and a whole lot of fake blood. It's been displayed at the establishment. That's gross some customers out. I don't even know that it was a menu item.
Starting point is 01:04:38 I think they just said this is a Dahmer pizza with a bunch of fake body parts on it. The manager even noted that some customers would come by the restaurant just take pictures with it. Oh. But you got to think, and you have to, you do have to think about this. And I have to do it too sometimes. Just because the show is on Netflix, doesn't mean it wasn't real life. Yeah. And that dude didn't really eat people and kill people and murder people.
Starting point is 01:04:57 People's, people's, their own children, their family, their siblings, whatever. It's also Halloween, too. So I understand how all this stuff collides. Halloween, people putting body, like skeletons in their yard. Gory. Yes. This show is big. I can actually see me.
Starting point is 01:05:14 On a weird day going, okay, that's Jeffrey Dahmer pizza. Maybe not right now. You could do a Halloween pizza with fingers on it. Yes, you just don't do Jeffrey Dahmer because then it gets a little too personal and real people. You know, Halloween pizza different with body parts of fingers. That's fictional. That'd be funny. Fine line.
Starting point is 01:05:35 It's just that's barely across it. I'm not going to call and complain about it. I'm not going to be part of, because listen, America has turned into a bunch of wusses complaining about things all the time. this is in bad taste, but I don't know I'm gonna call. Raise a stink. But yeah, that probably is not something you should have had out there. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:05:53 We're going to cancel anybody, but it's just like, don't do it again. You know, we don't need the Ted Bundy Castle roll next. Oh my gosh. You know? Yeah. So, oh yeah, sorry. What's wrong with people?
Starting point is 01:06:03 What's wrong with people? Amy, what do you have? Well, mine is personal, and it's the guy that flipped me off in the... We agree with you. Oh, sorry. That was the wrong segment. What's wrong with Amy? Yeah, what's wrong?
Starting point is 01:06:14 it happens but I was backing out of a parking spot in the parking lot and I did not see him he must have caught I feel like he was going too fast for a parking lot you feel like it
Starting point is 01:06:26 yeah because I would assume that some people go at a slower speed so I have the chance to back out of my spot a lot of assumptions and I feel the judge and listen to his case very often I'm backing out I hear honking I look back I get the finger
Starting point is 01:06:40 simple as that you didn't hit him yeah and it was uncalled for. I wasn't even close to hitting him. It must have been pretty close. It must have been pretty close if he threw a finger out. That's why I want to know what's wrong with people. You can lay on the horn to make sure they don't hit you. I think the finger's a little aggressive. That's why I'm what are you wrong with people things.
Starting point is 01:07:00 The finger? Yeah, you must have litter while you're doing it. You know, two things for the... And smoke. Yeah, it's just... How many of people still do it. You know, I'm going to give you what's wrong with people too because you're really paying attention. No, I, no, I was. No, this is a double. Hey, two in a row.
Starting point is 01:07:15 One, two, three. What's wrong with people? What's wrong with people? Whatever. That's one for you two. Lunchbox, what do you have? All right, I shouldn't laugh at this. A 14-year-old girl in Florida.
Starting point is 01:07:24 I don't know. Do we want to know if this sounds free? I don't know. I was laughing. With a 14-year-old girl? He's already saying I shouldn't talk at this. She got into her grandparents safe and stole $13,500 of their life savings and went to school and handed it out.
Starting point is 01:07:39 Oh, that's so mean. Just walking down the hallway, handed out $100 bills there. She was probably somebody was picked on and was just a figure she could make friends that way. That's what I figure. She took her grandparents' life savings and handed it out at her middle school. You think this is funny? He's the what's wrong with people on this one. What's wrong with people?
Starting point is 01:07:59 What's wrong with people? No, no. I don't know. What's wrong with her for stealing her grandparents' life savings? She probably saw the money that I can make friends this way. I'm getting picked on a lot of school. If I give out money, I'll have friends. Or she was mad at her grandparents.
Starting point is 01:08:10 Right. One of the two. This segment's kind of flipped into what I thought it was going to be. Eddie, can you bring it back? I think I got you guys. Okay, go ahead. These four guys in California, they stood on a street intersection with a sign that said, we lost our friend, it's a little girl, and we don't have money for our funeral services,
Starting point is 01:08:27 so they collected all sorts of money. Turned out there was no funeral, there was no girl. What's wrong, people? Well, you never, when people hold up signs, you're just kind of trusting. Yeah, I feel like you know what you're doing. When you're giving them money, that's... You're risking it? No.
Starting point is 01:08:43 And they have signs that say, you know, like she died and we can't afford a funeral? Someone says Vietnam War Vett and he's 27. I'm like, you know. Okay, well, that's not believable. I'm just going to give him money because I think he needs it. That's different. Yeah, I... These guys scammed all these people out of money thinking they were donating for a funeral.
Starting point is 01:08:58 I agree. That's cold. That's different. If they're knocking on doors or emails, that's a different thing. But on the street, you just kind of give people money and go, I don't care what you do with it. Okay. Looks like you need it. No, guys, you...
Starting point is 01:09:07 I agree. I'm still going to give it to you. This is bad people. It is bad people. Well, or somebody that needs to eat and the other ways they've found are not working. All four dudes? No. Four dudes together, for sure, bad dude.
Starting point is 01:09:18 You're right, bad dude. All right, what's wrong with people? What's wrong with people? You know, we tried, didn't we? Wait, what was... We did that. We did that. Amy, lunchbox.
Starting point is 01:09:28 I thought mine was pretty good. You laughed a little... It doesn't matter. Here is a voicemail from Marv and Georgia. I have a comment about whether or not Amy should take her child to see the terrifier movie or I think it really boils down to, Amy, if you are not going, would you allow your daughter to go? And if the answer is yes, then take her.
Starting point is 01:09:49 The answer is no, then don't. Amy? I don't know that it's that simple. Because, no, I had not let her go without me. But I don't know. Do you think that it's that simple? No. I don't either.
Starting point is 01:10:02 I think there's room for nuance. Yeah, I do too. In the world in America. Yeah. I feel like I have the opportunity if she's there to, like, cover her eyes real quick or say, dunk or get down. Let's go to the bathroom. Get down.
Starting point is 01:10:13 Something in this theater. I don't know. The scariest we've ever heard of. Well, people are passing out. So you got to let us know in the next few days what the plan is. Every caller's calling about it. Every DM I get. You gave me the deadline as long as I do it with it.
Starting point is 01:10:25 I know. I know. I'm getting just inundated with calls and emails. Amy's got to take her daughter. No, Amy's has to go watch Terrify her two, and she's debating on taking her daughter, which is the movie that makes people vomit and pass out in the theater. Okay, soon.
Starting point is 01:10:39 Yeah. Bobby's big. Stories. A woman wakes up during surgery and she has pain. She wakes up. She's like, oh my God, oh my God, my God, my God. And she can't move or speak. But she knows it.
Starting point is 01:10:52 She wakes up. She feels it. Her name's Donna. She woke up during surgery. General anesthesia knocks you unconscious and prevents pain. On top of this person will be administered a drug in order to prevent muscle movement, like a paralytic, I think they call it. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:11:08 paralyzes you. Unfortunately, the general anaestead didn't work, but the paralytic did. So she wakes up, and the one medicine works for she can't move, but the other medicine doesn't, that keeps her asleep. That is crazy. And she could feel everything? She woke up and could hear the sounds in the operator room and thought it was over. She was like, oh, I guess this is it.
Starting point is 01:11:26 But that's when she says her nightmare began. They were moving around and doing their things, and all of a sudden I heard him say, Scalple, please. She wanted to let doctors know what was happening, but she couldn't move. She couldn't even talk? Mm-mm. Oh, boy. Oh, boy.
Starting point is 01:11:39 I felt him moving my organs around. I heard him say things like, look at her appendix. It's really nice and pink. Colon looks good, overly looks good. She says it lasted for 90 minutes. Pain was only half the problem.
Starting point is 01:11:52 She was on a breathing machine. It felt like her lungs were on fire. No. The anesthesiologist noticed he pulled the tube out of her mouth. She could, again, hear the sounds, but then they started to feel like they were farther and farther away. Then she came back later and told them, And then we're like, what do you say to that?
Starting point is 01:12:10 That is a nightmare. Yeah, that's a nightmare. I'd be like, you dream that. I'm like, look at your colon. You tell them all, hey, just go with me. That's all just promise her. That was in her dream. But yeah, that's serious.
Starting point is 01:12:22 That's from the Ladd Bible. Marketed is Italy's number one brand of pasta. It's now being sued because it's not made in Italy. Here again. Okay. And that's its slogan. Italy's number one brand of pasta, the popular pasta brand Barilla, B.A. R-I-L-A.
Starting point is 01:12:39 I'm familiar with it. Is that what it's called? Yeah. Or it's like Barria. Oh, probably Barria. Baria. We'll face a lawsuit over misleading consumers. I believe the product's made in Iowa.
Starting point is 01:12:48 Okay, then it's Barilla. And New York, Barilla. Right. We're actually made in Italy and they weren't. Wow. So that's a situation. That's from USA Today. They're getting on these people now.
Starting point is 01:13:00 You know, there was like a Mexico hot sauce. Yeah, Texas Pete. That was not made in Texas. Oh, they wanted to say Mexico. Then they said, no, let's just go Texas. But then it was just made down the road. Punchbox, this is a new racket for you. Just go find items that are not made where they say they are.
Starting point is 01:13:16 And market them as wherever they're most authentic, there you have it. Okay. Or Sue, is it what Amy was saying? Or Sue, either one. Yes. Authorities are again warning parents about the possibility of drugs mixed with candy this Halloween after a big fentanyl bust in LAX. So they busted all these drugs. They found 12,000 pills of fentanyl early Wednesday morning.
Starting point is 01:13:35 The pills were contained inside packages of skittles, woppers, and sweet tarts candy. Whoa. Now, the thing is, they're not going to let these slip through. It's worth too much money. And they don't look like sweet tarts. They don't look. They're in the bags to make sure that nobody checks them. So when they go through, they're like, ah, they're just sweetarts.
Starting point is 01:13:48 Got it. So I'm going to say there's not a huge, it's always good to look at anything. Your kids are eating if they're not old enough to look for themselves. But I'm not saying, your kids aren't going to get a bag at Skittles and it's all fentanyl pills. But you're saying, too, that these drugs are worth way too much for them to just put in bags. And give away to kids. You don't even let them go loose and lose them out of your sight. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:14:07 Where it's like drug deal. Typically like to sell their drugs. Make money off of them. Yeah, and not just pass him out to random kids for a good laugh. That's the first time it made sense to me. I don't need to worry about this anymore. Scientists discovered there's a drug that replicates the effects of exercise on the muscles. I like it.
Starting point is 01:14:22 What? I'll take that. Boy, that sounds risky. That sounds like that movie with Will Smith, you know, where everybody takes the pill. I am legend. Oh. Like to beat cancer or a disease that they had in tested the pill and all of a sudden they're all zombies and he's all fighting zombies. Okay, it's not good.
Starting point is 01:14:35 This is that. You can also just imagine that you're working out. I've heard that helps too. No, it doesn't. Yes. It maybe helps you. Google it. Not terrible about yourself, but it ain't helping your body.
Starting point is 01:14:45 How does it build your muscles? Researchers at Tokyo Medical and Dental University claim to have identified a drug that replicates the benefits of exercise on muscles and bones. Using a new type of drug screening system, researchers were able to identify a compound that replicates the changes in muscles and bones named locomozoal or like locomotor. And that's what it does. It basically does the same to your muscles as when you exercise. That's cool. I don't know how strength works because I don't think you get stronger by taking a pill. But there's one more thing.
Starting point is 01:15:12 There's a $1,200 horse sneaker pair that really exists. If you want horse sneakers, you can buy some for $1,200. They are horses. And you can put them on your horse and they're designed shoes. That's funny for the horses. Do you like that? No. Do you have a horse?
Starting point is 01:15:32 No. But I mean, they're going to get dirty. If those downtown police officers had shoes on their horses, that'd be hilarious. Hilarious. Like Dior, Nike's. Yeah. That's from Audity Central. Your horse can be a baller, too.
Starting point is 01:15:47 And if you have a horse, you're probably a baller as well. Or you're from, you have a farm. One of the two. People that have horses either grew up in rural areas and have farms or they're really rich. There's really no in between, right? No. You need them as part of your life day to day or you're really rich. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:16:02 That's why we don't have horses. That's why we don't have more since. That's correct. Those were Bobby's Big. Stories. If you were going to call and put a hit on somebody, you'd make sure that number was right a few times, right? You'd look, yeah, triple check.
Starting point is 01:16:16 You'd look up and be like, all right, before you push send, and then, but when they answered, you probably ask for somebody. You'd be like, who is this? Something. But a guy's charged after calling what ended up being a random business to pay $5,000 to get somebody to kill a son. Oh, boy.
Starting point is 01:16:32 Apparently dial the wrong number. And the person he wanted to reach was just one number off. I didn't find out who that was. And why are they doing the killing? What are the who did they kill before? And so the actual phone call the father made. We have a clip of it. And Corporal Gerald Vogel explaining what happened.
Starting point is 01:16:48 My son's name is a five grand hit on it. It sounded like somebody was trying to hire somebody to hurt somebody another person. I don't get a way yet or what he's doing on who he would. Kill that that. He did admit that it was him on the phone. and he did try to call somebody was trying to set up actually hurting his own son. He said it was alcohol-fueled
Starting point is 01:17:11 and they had an argument and he blamed it on alcohol problems. There's so many bizarre parts of the story. Obviously the really sad part, the guy's trying to kill his son. Secondly, it's just spoken about like this is something that happens. Like, you call this number,
Starting point is 01:17:25 they just, he didn't ask questions. I was like, hey, how do I do this? Like, if I wanted to have him whacked, it was like, five grand, this is what we do, Bam, do do do all right. Silled up. That is why. There's so much happening.
Starting point is 01:17:37 We have no idea. No idea. Apparently the number is 1,800 hitman. Oh, it's that easy. But there is that website where people go to, like, rent a hitman.com, and people think it's a real site. And they were like, I want to kill somebody. And then the cops show up at their house. It started as a joke site, but then so many people thought it was real that they were using it to hire Hitman.
Starting point is 01:17:54 Oh, my goodness. A couple of Maryland signed a contract with a bank to buy a vacant home because that home was foreclosed on. But over the next two days When they got there There were people that had moved in it And now they're refusing to leave Are those squatters? The men claim they have a contract with the bank
Starting point is 01:18:13 And they were like, no you don't We just bought it. They're like, no you don't And so but they're like, okay, good Get us out of here then. You can't. That's crazy. You can't.
Starting point is 01:18:22 You know, I'm surprised There's not like a vigilante service Yeah That just goes in and beats people up And throws them out Like dog the bounty hunter But for this Like you got to prove
Starting point is 01:18:31 prove to me that you're home. Okay. And it's not above board, but we go and we handle business. But this could end up being like a SWAT situation if they don't want to get out and like, you know. Yeah, for sure. That's part of it. But what do you think of bounty hunter? They have to go out of finding people.
Starting point is 01:18:44 That's crazy. They're trying to shoot and kill. Bounty hunters, I mean, don't you have to be like recognized by an organization to go hunt people down, even if you're not a police officer? Yeah, I think you have to have a badge. Like some sort of certification. But I don't know. Because then anybody could be a bounty hunter. Exactly.
Starting point is 01:19:01 You can. Just nobody wants to do it. Exactly. I don't want to be a bounty hunter. Bounty hunting seems like something Scoob a Steve would be like, yeah, I do that for a couple years. Because Scoobo Steve has had basically every job known. I thought I had a lot of jobs. But Scoob has had every job.
Starting point is 01:19:16 You've never done any bounty hunting? I mean, not legal bounty hunting. Okay, here we go. Here we go. It's unraveling. Go ahead. Well, I've had friends, like, come at me to get things for them from other people. Like, they were owed money or their girlfriend would cheated on them, so they want me to go to the guy's house.
Starting point is 01:19:29 And do what? and like rough them up a little bit or scare them. What? And you did that? Hold on a second. I knew there would be, you peel up this onion. So have you ever roughed up somebody?
Starting point is 01:19:41 So I may or may not have gone to someone's door with a crowbar under 18. So I guess I could get away with this and go at another guy who was cheating on my friend's girlfriend. Did you, and you attempted? I scared the crap out of the guy. You never, I guess, never came around again. Are there any other things you haven't told us about that you're not going to tell us now? And there's some money related things that I won't get too much. Some money related things.
Starting point is 01:20:03 Money and drugs. He just keeps adding to it. Wow, wow, wow. Could any of this come back to bite you? He didn't say anything. He didn't say anything. This show is all fictional. There's a guy named lunchbox on this show.
Starting point is 01:20:15 Yeah, exactly. No, I mean, not even just because of the show, but is he worried anybody's ever going to come after him. A lot of this is when I was a minor, so I guess I'm okay to get. No, no, no, the people, you crowbarred. Right. But he says a lot. Yeah. All right.
Starting point is 01:20:32 All right, it's good with Steve. Thank you. You're welcome. Georgia does not require a license to work as a bounty hunter. Okay. What? If you want to go to Georgia, I'll be a bounty hunter. Go for it.
Starting point is 01:20:40 You know what? Have that it. I guess you can just call yourself that and go to town. I mean, it is risky. But I'm surprised there's not like a service for squatters. It's like, you call us. We're the A team. They go and take squatters out of your house.
Starting point is 01:20:51 In a second, I'll talk about why I owe you guys some money. So we'll get into that. On the 25 whistles podcast, which we did yesterday, We had the head coach of South Carolina football, Shane Beamer on. And we asked him, hey, what's up? You have to be like a father figure to these players? Here's what he said. And honestly, it's probably my favorite part of the job.
Starting point is 01:21:10 I mean, I love coaching. Don't get me wrong. But I love the fact that I'm the head coach now and can have those relationships with 120 guys on our football team and that they feel comfortable coming in my office and talking about that. So, yeah, we have those conversations all the time, school, girls, something going on back home with a family member, whatever it may be. And I want them to feel comfortable talking to me about that.
Starting point is 01:21:35 And that's a big part of it as well. So he was awesome. He looks like he's about 25 years old. But South Carolina is really good this year. And we had coach Beamer on yesterday and you can check out that interview. Just go over and search for 25 whistles, which is our football show. That's what's up. All right.
Starting point is 01:21:49 Coming up, Y owe you guys money. And big fight on an airplane, but nobody went to jail. it was mostly about should this guy have given up his seat for this certain woman. There's a 10-hour flight and he got a seat with extra leg room because I guess if you have it, spend it.
Starting point is 01:25:47 And you have a little more room on just, man, that'd be an awful flight. I mean, you think riding in a car is bad for 8 to 10 hours on an airplane where you're getting dehydrated and you don't have any room and you're with another 150 people miserable. So he gets this seat that's comfortable for him, sits down, all right, let's start to flight. Well, as he's sitting there, there's a couple that comes up and goes, hey, do you mind God giving us this seat? Because, you know, I have a baby and I want to sit with my husband. And he's like, well, I really spend a lot of time picking this seat.
Starting point is 01:26:18 and it is possibly a 10-hour flight, so I'm going to go ahead and just keep sitting in this seat that I bought. Well, the internet gets mad at him, and then people start sticking up for him, and it turns into just a, you know, mayhem in the comments section. So, how do you feel about this? Eddie, you're first. The guy paid for the seat.
Starting point is 01:26:38 He's a single guy. Yeah. And a mom of the baby says, hey, can I have your seat, which would put him in a seat with no leg room. One for, you know, that's less comfortable. that would have been cheaper for him to buy. What do you think?
Starting point is 01:26:50 So you're describing the scenario, and as you were doing that, I'm thinking, okay, I've been in that situation where my wife is there with the baby and I would like to sit next to her, but I don't think I need to sit next to her. I think it's a preference. So I'm with the guy on this.
Starting point is 01:27:06 Eight hours, you paid for that seat, you want to have that comfort. You know it's going to be a long flight. I'm with a guy on this. Watchbox. It's easy. I'm with the guy. That lady can kick rocks and she can go back to her seat and she can say, you know what, whoever's on her row,
Starting point is 01:27:24 hey, my husband paid for extra leg room. Why don't you go sit up there with him and my husband will come back here and we'll take this row with no leg room? She doesn't need to get that extra leg room just so she can sit next to her husband. How about have her husband move back there to no leg room? See you, lady. Get out of here. Amy? I mean, I think that I would give the seat in hope that somewhere down the line, my generosity with this seat that, yes, I paid extra for,
Starting point is 01:27:49 will come back and I will be rewarded with, who knows, one day I might get on a plane and somehow magically end up in first class because someone was nice to me. Good karma. Yeah, I don't believe in karma. I guess that's my deal. I don't think it's because I do something now. It's going to come back to me later.
Starting point is 01:28:04 If it were an hour flight or an hour and a half flight, I'd for sure go, here, lady, of course. Have the seat. But they also could have planned ahead like this guy did, and they didn't. Yeah, but the baby keeps you busy. It's hard to plan. Not booking a ticket to three weeks out. I am, and I think some people will be surprised.
Starting point is 01:28:23 I'm with the guy. You know, you weeks ahead bought this seat. It's an eight to ten hour flight. That's kind of on them. Again, if it were an hour and a half flight, I'd probably say switch it up. But eight to ten hours, that's like long-term comfortability. So I'm going to go, I agree with him. He paid for it.
Starting point is 01:28:41 He did nothing wrong. The internet's a bunch of jerks. I probably wouldn't have given up the seat. either. So we're gonna go three to one team sitting guy. Okay. I don't want to be lumped in with the mean people on the internet though. Like I wouldn't be mad at the guy for keeping the seat. I don't know. You sounded pretty mad. I owe you guys some money or at least the jar some money because the crutch word I'm trying to eliminate is all right. And I said every time you guys catch me saying it, I'll put a dollar in the jar. We've had some people that have
Starting point is 01:29:09 sent me a note saying they've heard it. Now, have you guys just heard it or do you have clips of it? That's the question. Clips. Oh, yeah, we got clips. Clips upon clips. I haven't even heard it. That's great. I hope you have them
Starting point is 01:29:20 because I'm trying to eliminate it. And every time I say the word, all right, I'll put a dollar in the jar. How many clips do you have? I have one clip that includes two all rightes in it. Okay, let me hear it. Go ahead. No, no, no, that was not the rule.
Starting point is 01:29:33 I'm out. What, what? We're not doing that. What? What? All right. Next up. Oh, there was one.
Starting point is 01:29:38 But if you start the clip over, there's an all right right at the top. I'll trust it. $2 I'm in. Boom. Do we have another clip? Yeah, go ahead and hit mine. I don't know how many all rights there were in it,
Starting point is 01:29:48 but you were all writing. I heard the dog, those turn into a pre-Madonna. Really? Yeah, the dogs are tough, man. After the dog got the crown, I heard the dog's been tough to work with. All right, that is what it's all about. One.
Starting point is 01:30:00 Okay. Okay, $3. Anybody else, hear one? Speak now, forever. Hold your peace. I heard one, but I don't have the audio. It's just in a video on social media. But I trust you.
Starting point is 01:30:09 Morgan, I trust you. Those two guys I don't trust. I'll just trust you. $4. It was in the beginning. beginning of one of our scam segments, and I caught it in the video, but I took it out in the video for you. So, yeah, I got you. $4, I'm putting in the jar at the end of the day today, okay?
Starting point is 01:30:22 Hey, you are saying it pretty quick, though. Is that all right? I mean, or does it count? Because you're like, all right, let's go. Yeah, and I have a question about that. What word would you say there? Okay? Okay, is a good one. What do you replace it with? Or nothing. I just transition. Okay. That's tough, man. Interesting. I'm trying to eliminate the word. Thank you for your help. I owe $4 to the jar. Thank you guys.
Starting point is 01:30:44 Everybody good? Yeah, there'll be more clips coming. Don't worry. I'm going back and listening. Lunchbox is going to archives of years and years of show. It has to be just from the past couple of weeks. Yeah, yeah. I listen to the podcast now just to find them.
Starting point is 01:30:56 That's how we get them to listen to the show. All right, Mr. Bobby Bones on Instagram, all you have to do is go over and follow me there. DM me. I appreciate you guys. Hold on one second. Bobby Bones show. Boney up the day. This story comes to us from Memphis, Tennessee.
Starting point is 01:31:11 A man had some warm. warrant's out for his arrest and he's like, how can I pay these off? You know what I can do? Get some money. Get a power saw, go out and steal some catalytic converters. So he goes to a parking lot of a company and starts cutting out the catalytic converters. Someone called police and they busted him. You know, that catalytic converter thievery is a pretty popular thing to steal. I don't know what one is.
Starting point is 01:31:32 If you put 10 things in front of me and said, one of these is a catalytic converter. I would have no idea. I'm with you. But a lot of people talk about how people are looking for him. Yes, and then he was going to sell him, make that money. and then go pay off his warrants. But he was in a stolen car. He had stolen properties,
Starting point is 01:31:49 so now he's facing a lot of charges. A catalytic converter looks like a muffler. It's part of the exhaust system, right? So is it the muffler? Eddie, I know nothing about cars. I'm lucky I know what a muffler kind of looks like. I mean, I guess I've just been to enough, like, scrapyards that I know what a muffler looks like.
Starting point is 01:32:05 I don't know. Or it's a thingy that sticks out the back. That's the muffler. What are they converting? Cataletics. Fuel. Yeah. Now, catalytic, that's right.
Starting point is 01:32:14 This is the least knowing car show ever. Come on, man. Although Eddie could probably fix a car. Yeah. Occasionally, a catalytic converter is an exhaust emission control device that converts toxic gases and pollutants. Yeah, it's the muffler. Well, sort of.
Starting point is 01:32:27 Part of the muffler. Yeah. But it's made of like copper or something. Whatever it's made of looks expensive. I probably want to steal a couple. That's it. I was going to say people often want to steal copper too, like from anywhere. If they see copper, take it.
Starting point is 01:32:40 Penny on the ground, lunchbox will never stop. He will stop every time. I will stop every time. Stop the car. All right, that's what's up. Thank you. I'm Lunchbox. That's your bonehead story of the day.
Starting point is 01:32:50 The Rocks and a superhero movie called Black Adam. Is that part of the Avengers? No, it's a separate comic book company. I thought everybody was a part of the Avengers. Isn't that like D.C.? Well, if you were good enough, you just got promoted to Avengers. No, that's just Marvel. Yeah, this is D.
Starting point is 01:33:04 DC to like Superman, Batman, all those superheroes. But what if you're, like, real good in D. Then could they, like, give you the call, like, bring in the lefty? That's not a thing? No. Okay, so Black Adam is like Batman Superman? Yes. Okay, is he their friend? He is an anti-hero, so he's described as being like Superman.
Starting point is 01:33:21 He has all his powers. He can fly. He's really strong. But he kills his enemies. So he's a good guy that does bad things. Yeah. Anti-hero, other ones would be Walter White. Breaking Bad. Right? You root for him, but he also does bad things. That's good. The guy in the Sopranos, Mr. Soprano. Tony Soprano? Tony Soprano. I never seen it. I think it's Tony.
Starting point is 01:33:41 But Mr. Soprano. Anti-hero, right? That is an anti-hero, yeah. So, is it good? It's not that good. Now, I don't really consider The Rock to be a great actor, but I think for this kind of movie to have an origin story for a superhero, you've got to have a little bit more. He doesn't really give any effort in this movie.
Starting point is 01:33:58 Like, he's barely acting. The Rock's not a good actor? Is he just in good movies then? Is that why I think he's just in good movies? And he basically plays himself in every single movie, so that doesn't really work when you're trying to be a superhero like this. But this company, aren't they known to not make that good a super hero? movies? Historically, they make bad movies.
Starting point is 01:34:14 Like, Suicide Squad, not a great movie. Second one was good, though. The suicide. Because there's two. There's Suicide Squad, and then the Suicide Squad. Yes. Same thing with, like, Wonder Woman. First one was great. Second one wasn't that good. But they made all the Batmans. Those were pretty good. No, that's a different deal, though. Oh, it is? It's not D.C. They own, but it's not the same.
Starting point is 01:34:31 Not the same as the same as Christian Bail Batman. Oh, it's not? Totally different. Oh, I didn't know that. Okay. I mean, same people own it. Same people. Yeah. Anyway, this is. good, what do you give it? I would give it 2.5 out of five lightning bolts. I think kids would like it, but I think just superhero fans won't like it in general.
