Starting point is 00:01:33 We always say that trust your girlfriends. Listen to the girlfriends. Trust me, babe, on the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. In 2023, Bachelor star Clayton Eckerd was accused of fathering twins. But the pregnancy appeared to be a hoax. You doctored this particular test twice, Ms. Ellen's, correct? I doctored the test once. It took an army of internet detectives to uncover a disturbing pattern.
Starting point is 00:02:07 Two more men who'd been through the same thing. Greg Gillespie and Michael Manchini. My mind was blown. I'm Stephanie Young. This is Love Trapped. Laura, Scottsdale Police. As the season continues, Laura Owens finally faces consequences. Listen to Love Trapped podcast on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Starting point is 00:02:28 What's up, everyone? I'm Ago Vodam. My next guest is. It's Will Ferrell. Woo. Woo. My dad gave me the best advice ever. He goes, just give it a shot.
Starting point is 00:02:39 But if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit. If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration. It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat. Just hang in there. Yeah. It would not be. Right. It wouldn't be that.
Starting point is 00:02:59 There's a lot of luck. Listen to thanks, Dad. on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hey, welcome to Tuesdays show. Morning, studio. Morning. Scam alert. Number one, tech spurts, which is a tech expert, by the way. They're warning Netflix subscribers about a very large cyber scam on which criminals hijack
Starting point is 00:03:31 important financial information. They send messages. It comes as a text and it says Netflix. There's an issue processing your payment. And then they send a link. So Netflix is not going to text you and say there's an issue process. So everybody, scam alert. Netflix is not going to text you and say there's an issue processing your payment or say failed payment.
Starting point is 00:03:51 We all in? Yeah. And you didn't react in a way that I expected. Did you fall for this one? No. You're also answering it weird. Yeah, because, well, I maybe received something a little bit similar. But yeah, you're right.
Starting point is 00:04:05 Nobody's going to text me. I don't even think. What just happened here? Because something happened to you and you're not sharing. Because it's just reminding me that I have a new number-ish. and there's no way I have certain accounts that I registered years ago that would have my new number. They just wouldn't. You're battling something right now in your head.
Starting point is 00:04:19 I'm battling that now I'm not going to just, I'm just not clicking on anything that comes to my new number. Have you? No. Okay. That was weird, right guys? Yeah. Very weird reaction. We think she has. You'll tell us in a month.
Starting point is 00:04:30 That's how it usually works. Yeah, I'll let you know. All right. Next up, scamp alone. FBI warn shoppers to be wary of holiday scams. They say always be wary of deals that seem too good to be true, especially like, well we're down on Black Friday and Cyber Monday but like Willie Wednesday
Starting point is 00:04:45 Tap at the Thursday Freaky Friday It's all deals now A lot of places are doing sale extended But they're not It's the scammers Suspicious links Don't click on attachments and emails
Starting point is 00:04:57 Morgan you went and reviewed a site right Like on Instagram Was there something you wanted And then you went to the website Like you had to like go and search When people put up the reviews Oh yeah yeah yeah So I was gonna order a bunch of clothes
Starting point is 00:05:11 from this thing that I saw on Instagram. You know when you get those ads and you're like, oh, I want to buy them. Yeah, please hack into my information more and tell me what I want because I love it. Go ahead. Yeah, so I saw a bunch of clothes I liked and I had put a bunch of things in my cart. And I was like, let me just go check this out, make sure this is a legit site. Thank goodness I did because it was not a real site. People haven't gotten any of their clothes that they've ordered from there.
Starting point is 00:05:30 And I almost just put in like a huge order. But then how would Instagram let them do ads? I don't know. I haven't talked to Instagram in the last couple weeks. That's a great question, Amy. I agree, but I think the note here is, here's my note. Look at the reviews when you buy from a place you haven't bought for from because you will see other people going, don't do it, don't do it, don't do it. Or it was awesome.
Starting point is 00:05:49 Like that's where the reviews do come in handy. So no links. If you're buying Instagram, go check the reviews. And one more. I got this from X, which is Twitter. And I got this. And it said, we found your account, make it tam spam, or be engaged in other types of platform manipulation. And I'm reading this.
Starting point is 00:06:05 I'm like, well, possibly. But then I click with a from because it says from X. but I click it, then it's like JLP at con, blah, blah, blah, blah.com. So it's not from. Just click the from to see what it is. And if it's not specifically from that, you know it's not that. All right. Scam alert.
Starting point is 00:06:22 Thank you. Scam alert. We're trying to help you out here. By the way, if you get scammed and it does happen to Amy. LifeLock, not just Amy, but just most. But I do have LifeLock paying customer here. Yes, thank God, right? Oh, yeah, no, for years.
Starting point is 00:06:40 Yeah, no, it's been great. I join LifeLock today. Save up to 40% with your first year. promo code Bones. I'm telling you, I use it too. They're not paying me to say this. Right now, this is not a commercial. LifeLock.com and then do promo code Bones, and you'll save 40% with that promo code. All right, thank you. Bobby Bones, my husband loves to scroll on his phone while laying in bed before he goes to sleep, and it keeps me from getting to sleep sometimes.
Starting point is 00:07:19 I've asked him to stop. If not for his own benefit, at least for mine, but he swears that it helps him unwind. Should I push him to quit this bad habit? Or just let him do what he's going to do. and deal with it. Signed restless in Oklahoma City. This is exactly my life. I thought is this your wife? She would never write into the show. She's from Oklahoma. That is true too, but she's from Tulsa. But not in Oklahoma City. We have, we've put in measures to make us both a bit happier. So I love, and I use the exact words,
Starting point is 00:07:50 this is how I wind down is I get on my phone and I watch like 90s wrestling videos and I watch like 90s alternative music videos and some like 2000. I just add the things that I do that help me like take my mind off the day. And it happens to be like I've said this before, they're like the three greatest discoveries. I think penicill in the iPhone and then TikTok of like the last, you know, 200 years. And so I enjoy it. It helps me relax.
Starting point is 00:08:20 It takes my mind off of everything else. But it's also like a shining beacon of light in the bed. and my wife has taken a picture from beside me once when I didn't know it to show the huge glow when it's dark in the room and I'm on my phone scrolling away. So I can understand everybody's issue here. So here's what I've done. One, the first thing I do, for her request, is I go down and I do the flop down and I take the brightness and I take it almost all the way down. So that takes off like 70% of the brightness.
Starting point is 00:08:47 So it doesn't eliminate the problem, but it helps a little bit. Two, I put in AirPods. So you can't hear anything, right? It's not even like it's very low. I put an AirPods, you can hear nothing. She can hear nothing. Three, I build a fort underneath the blanket. And I do my phone underneath the fort.
Starting point is 00:09:04 Now, the hard part is sometimes the fort hangs over the phone, blanket. So you have to like develop. I built like pillows. I put three pillows on my thighs. And the pillows actually hold up the blanket and put the phone up against the pillows underneath the fort blanket. Therefore, the light doesn't really come out. That has helped us like 85%.
Starting point is 00:09:22 my wife also said why can't you wind down on your phone outside the room and they come in because I need to wind down in the bed the place I'm going to sleep that's because you've created that as part of your routine what if you find a new routine I had a new routine is watching television all night long I'm falling asleep with the TV on that's right yeah no I've actually modified my bad habits to only this bad habit and I should be rewarded and celebrated for it and I'm often not what I would say is encourage a wind down by this time so hey you Yeah, I have a 20 minutes. So it's a cutoff time? But I, but use my practical approach is to build a fort. I build a fort with three pillows on my thighs. Like you're good. It holds it under it.
Starting point is 00:09:59 Put the phone underneath the blanket and put the blanket over my head and watch it underneath the. And so while that's happening, your wife's already falling asleep. She's going to sleep. Okay. So then when you get rid of the fort and everything you had to do to create your little phone situation. I know. But then like, then you cut. What if she wanted to fall asleep like cuddling?
Starting point is 00:10:16 Trust me. We made out that ain't the case. Oh. And if she wanted to cuddle, we'd do that before I went and got on the old phone. You know what I mean? Okay. Yeah. So that's what's up.
Starting point is 00:10:24 So good luck with that because I completely relate and you both can, you both cannot lose. Neither of you were going to win, but you both cannot lose. And I suggest going back to being seven and building a Ford in your own bedroom. Here's Caitlin in East Tennessee. Hey, Bobby Bone's show. I listen to your all show every single morning. It is a routine of mine. I'm a full-time employee, full-time student, and everything is just so overwhelming.
Starting point is 00:10:51 And listening to your all show, it's normalcy for me. So thank you all for what you do and for putting a smile on so many people's faces. Thank you. We're glad we could be a part of your day because I definitely have things and shows I listen to that are part of my days. And if that's off, then I'm off. And if somebody doesn't upload a podcast on a certain day when I'm used to it, it just throws everything off. So thank you for allowing us to be your friends in that way because we feel like hopefully we are. Give me joy in North Carolina.
Starting point is 00:11:21 Just calling her with A Morning Corny for Amy. So what did Tennessee? Nothing. Same thing, Arkansas. I read that and thought it was so funny and thought easy guys. So hope you enjoy. Love the show. What did Tennessee?
Starting point is 00:11:36 Nothing. Same thing as Arkansas. It's two eyes same things. Yeah, it's too elevated for you do. It's way too small thing. It's good. It's like Dennis Miller stuff, man. Give me number seven.
Starting point is 00:11:47 Leah, Pennsylvania. I just wanted to thank you for doing new content. on Thursday and Friday, and also including the St. Jude interview with Fisher. I actually listen to it and I don't usually get to hear the radio song. This was the first year that we actually decided to become a partner in hope. Also, his story just really touched me. And I'm now a mom and just thinking about what his mom was going through and the story that she told, it really just hit me in a way. And I'm just appreciative for everything that you do for the kids and for the listeners, I just wanted to say thanks.
Starting point is 00:12:21 And thank you. Everything you just said to us, we mean that back to you, like, times 100, because we could get on here and say all the stuff, but if you guys didn't actually just be that, we wouldn't have that. So I appreciate all the B team for jumping in and doing it. It was so great. It's such a great year to raise as much money as we did. We actually have set a new record this year, which is very difficult to do as everything just fractionally becomes less and less, because they're just more things.
Starting point is 00:12:46 So thank you, Leah. We appreciate that. Here's Amy's pile of stories. Zebra striping. Ever heard of it? Nope. It's something that you do when you're drinking. And it's a new term, but it's an old idea that could help keep you a little more sober at all the holiday parties.
Starting point is 00:13:04 It's when you alternate between alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. You cannot have two alcohol drinks in a row. Like you have to alternate and it helps you good. Oh, it keeps you good. Yeah, it keeps you good. Whatever you have like an alcoholic drink and you have like a little tiny striped. Well, then you're not. Zeeper Striping if you want to adopt this.
Starting point is 00:13:23 People swear by it. Scoop Steve, holiday parties for us. Is the company doing one? Yeah, we have two holiday parties. We have one local one for Nashville. I think, believe it's tomorrow. And then next week we have a premiere one on Tuesday. Wait, wait, tomorrow.
Starting point is 00:13:38 We learned about it right now that is tomorrow. He only sends out an email like two weeks ago. Tuesday. Yeah, I got it. What time of the day is it? It's six to nine at John Bon Jovi's. House? No, that was barren. restaurant and then the other one's at Rick's house. Yeah, that one next week. Oh boy. That's a real one,
Starting point is 00:13:56 the Bon Jovi one seems like a real one that they're actually doing an evening one. Sometimes it'd be like holiday party, 2 p.m. or like, we're not coming back to work for that guy. Oh, that's cool. I guess I'll find out more about it after the show. I'll let you know, yeah. I'll probably do a little Ziba driving. Okay. All right, what you got? I have the most popular Wikipedia pages of the year. So everybody was searching this. By everybody, I mean like 40 million people. Wicked. No, not in the top five. In the top five, you have political things like Donald Trump. Kamala Harris and the United States presidential election. Okay.
Starting point is 00:14:24 Then the other one in the top five, Lyle and Eric Menendez. I wonder if they get freed. I wonder, too. You know, we were kids when all that happened, so we kind of didn't know the minutia. However, nobody really did because there wasn't social media. There wasn't 10,000 networks and streaming services. Yeah, but I mean, it was a pretty big televised thing, but then what happened for them later was then O.J. Simpson. And it sort of like took over.
Starting point is 00:14:50 Mm-hmm. Wow. Yeah. They were getting a lot of attention. And the number one thing that people have been searching on Wikipedia, like 44 million people, just straight up deaths. Do you know there was a- Celebrity Deaths? A Wikipedia deaths page. It's called Deaths in 2024.
Starting point is 00:15:05 Okay. I would be mostly, it's like Bob Barker. Sure. Did he die? Exactly. Yeah. See, that's why I would use it because we're constantly like, I know Betty White died. Jimmy Carter, not dead, but holy man, I've never seen a more alive person that doesn't look alive.
Starting point is 00:15:20 Have you seen him? He's still alive. He's still alive. Because remember he voted. Yeah. Did Bob Barker die? Last year, see. See, I think to your point, Bobby, yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:29 I think maybe that's why sometimes people are like, wait a second. Is this person dead? Dick Van Dyke, still alive. Really? 99 years old, I believe. Whoa. Just had a party. I think he's married to 98.
Starting point is 00:15:39 Maybe he's about to be... About to have birthday. Be 99. Wow. Dang, that's crazy. Okay, so the top five were... Presidential stuff, took up three slots. Got it.
Starting point is 00:15:50 The Menendez brothers and then deaths. Dude, the death page is pretty interesting. Is it? Like, if you scroll down, like December 8th, Jack Hennessy, December 7th, and it has everybody. Wow. Daryl McGraw. Who's Dymd Uncle? Tim's Uncle.
Starting point is 00:16:05 I don't know. Anyway, go ahead. Iheart Radio put out their top country artists of 2024. Like, these are the most played. In the top five, Nate Smith, Sam Hunt, Jelly Roll, Luke Combs. And the number one spot, Morgan Wallin. Of course. Good job.
Starting point is 00:16:19 I'm Amy. That's my pile. That was Amy's pile of stories. It's time for the good news. With Amy. Tell me something good. So back in 1947, Laura Jean Emery won Miss California. Okay. Fast forward, she's in an assisted living place right now,
Starting point is 00:16:39 celebrating her 96th birthday. And the staff there found out that she lost her Miss California sash years back. That sucks. Yeah. So. Especially if it's like your thing, you'll be at lunch. Box losing his prom king crown because he lives by that thing. Go ahead. Special shout out to Ruth da Silva because she reached out to Miss California organizers
Starting point is 00:17:01 and was able to get a replacement sash and surprised Laura Jean with it on her 96th birthday. I like that that someone cared enough about something that could seem trivial but wasn't to the person it deeply affected. You know it reminds me of? What? This is going back in time. And Amy would tell the story of there were all these star-fills. washed up on the beach and this kid would walk around and throw one in the ocean. But there are thousands of them.
Starting point is 00:17:26 He'd throw one in the ocean. And someone said, hey, you're not going to be able to save all these starfish? And he was like, no, but I can save that one and that one and that one. One at a time. It's called Starfish story. That's beautiful. Thank you. I didn't make it up.
Starting point is 00:17:38 Maybe I didn't make it up, but she's one that kind of brought it to my attention. But it's like that person starfish to her. Like who, honestly, in general life, you'd be like, who cares? However, this one starfish was saved. That's a good one. You know why I saw that thing that we had framed the other day, reminded me. Oh, that's what we did after we broke the Guinness World Record for 30 Abes. Binch press.
Starting point is 00:17:56 That's the gift we gave out. Now, we actually packed more food, more meals. Yeah, it was our record. We broke the record for the most hunger relief meals packed in an hour for Haiti. Yeah, awesome. You know there was a record that already existed and then we broke it. And the Guinness guy was there. I'm not sure that it already existed, though.
Starting point is 00:18:15 It did. Yeah, Wichita had it. A place in Wichshall had it. Oh, sorry. That's all right. Yeah. Scots, screw you guys. Morgan, you're a little witch. Whatever. I like Wichita. All right, that's what it's all about.
Starting point is 00:18:25 That was tell me something good. A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care what I'm saying. Yep, that's me, Clifford Taylor the 4th. You might have seen the skits, the reactions, my journey from basketball to college football, or my career in sports media. Well, somewhere along the way, this platform became bigger than I ever imagined. And now I'm bringing all of that excitement to my brand new podcast, The Clifford Show. This is a place for raw, unfiltered conversations with some of your favorite athletes, creators, and voices that not only deserve to be heard, but celebrated. One week, I'll take you behind the scenes of the biggest moments in sports and entertainment,
Starting point is 00:19:02 and the next we'll talk about life, mental health, purpose, and even music. The Clifford Show isn't just a podcast, it's a space for honest conversations, stories that don't always get told, and for people who are chasing something bigger. So, if you've ever supported me or you're just chasing down a dream, this is right where you need to be. Listen to the Clifford show on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. And for more behind the scenes, follow at Clifford and at TikTok Podcast Network on TikTok. There's two golden rules that any man should live by.
Starting point is 00:19:37 Rule one, never mess with a country girl. You play stupid games, you get stupid prizes. And rule two, never mess with her friends either. We always say that trust your girlfriends. I'm Anna Sinfield. And in this new season of The Girlfriends, Oh my God, this is the same man. A group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist.
Starting point is 00:20:01 I felt like I got hit by a truck. I thought, how could this happen to me? The cops didn't seem to care. So they take matters into their own hands. I said, oh, hell no. I vowed. I will be his last target. He's going to get what he deserves.
Starting point is 00:20:18 Listen to the Girlfriends. Trust me, babe. On the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever. for you get your podcast. This week on the Sports Slice podcast, it's all about the NFL draft, and we've got a special guest. The director of the NFL's

In 2023, former bachelor star Clayton Eckerd found himself at the center of a paternity scandal. The family court hearings that followed revealed glaring inconsistencies in her story. This began a years-long court battle to prove the truth.
Starting point is 00:21:25 You doctored this particular test twice in someone's, correct? I doctored the test ones. It took an army of internet detectives to crack the case. I wanted people to be able to see what their tax dollars were being used for. Sunlight's the greatest disinfected. They would uncover a disturbing pattern. Two more men who'd been through the same thing. Greg Alesspian and Michael Maranini.
Starting point is 00:21:47 My mind was blown. I'm Stephanie Young. This is Love Trap. Laura, Scottsdale Police. As the season continues, Laura Owens finally faces consequences. Ladies and gentlemen, breaking news at Americopa County as Laura Owens has been indicted on fraud charges. This isn't over until justice is served in Arizona. Listen to Love Trapped podcast on the Iheart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Starting point is 00:22:17 What's up, everyone? I'm Ego Vodom. My next guest, you know from Step Brothers, Anchorman, Saturday Night Live, and the Big Money Players Network. It's Will Farrell. My dad gave me the best advice ever. I went and had lunch with him one day, and I was like, and dad, I think I want to really give this a shot. I don't know what that means, but I just know the groundlings. I'm working my way up through, and I know it's a place that come look for up-and-coming talent.
Starting point is 00:22:45 He said, if it was based solely on talent, I wouldn't worry about you, which is really sweet. Yeah. He goes, but there's so much luck involved. And he's like, just give it a shot. He goes, but if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit. If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration. It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat. Just hang in there.
Starting point is 00:23:13 Yeah, it would not be. Right, it wouldn't be that. There's a lot of luck. Listen to thanks dad on the IHeartRadio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast. I don't need to say this, but I will again. Taylor Swift is a marketing genius. Mike, what happened to you? I went to Black Friday shop. I haven't been Black Friday shopping in years.
Starting point is 00:23:33 So you went just for this? Just for this. She put out an Ares tour book and it was only at Target. And she was making it seem like if you didn't go get it on this day, it would completely sell out. Because everything she does sells out. Yeah, the tickets sell out. Stadium. The record sell out.
Starting point is 00:23:45 So I was there Friday morning. I got there. There was tons of them. Times of books? Yeah. I walked right. It made it seem like it was going to have to fight for this book. You're ready.
Starting point is 00:23:53 He's ready to. He's ready to fight. I was like, all right, I'm going to get it. I'm going to get her for my wife because she's a huge Taylor's fan. He's pushing people in the parking lot. I made sure to get there early. I got there. And there was like a full palette of them.
Starting point is 00:24:03 So your wife was the fan. You were getting a bird. Yeah. Does she know you got it for her? Yeah, because now every time we've gotten to Target back since and they still have them, so she would have got it eventually. So what do we say? What do you think? As Taylor just so awesome that we believe everything she does?
Starting point is 00:24:17 Or was there a reason to believe because of something somebody said. She's just a genius. Okay. So she didn't even say they're all going to be sold out. We just believe it now. You're just buying to the hype. Yeah. Yeah, I know.
Starting point is 00:24:26 I'm in. Amy, did you watch the Taylor Swift's Hallmark movie? Oh, the one about her and Travis Kelsey. I mean, they're not in it. I know, but it isn't like... Right. Okay, so here's the thing. There's a lifetime one that is inspired by Taylor and Travis's love story.
Starting point is 00:24:40 And then there's a Hallmark one about the Chiefs. And there's also a love story attached. But not that about them. Okay, and Travis Kelsey's mom's even in the Hallmark one. About the Chiefs. Yeah, so I'm... But not the one about Taylor Travis. Correct.
Starting point is 00:24:52 But I watched the entire Hallmark one. I am like, this just does not seem like their love story. I'm like, nothing's matching up. And then I'm to find out, I watched the entire thing, literally thinking it's Travis and Taylor. And it's not. I was watching the wrong one. Oh, my God. I've heard it all.
Starting point is 00:25:09 That's the worst. Yeah, it's called Holiday Touchdown. That's the Hallmark one. That's what I watched. Did you end up liking it? Do you see how that would be confusing? Yes. A Chief's love story?
Starting point is 00:25:16 Yes. It was fine. Yeah, it was good. I love all those kind of movies. You would hate it. Don't watch it. And then the Lifetime one is about them. Not yet because I have to, I had, that was my Thanksgiving break.
Starting point is 00:25:28 I was looking forward to it. It was like the countdowns on Saturday night premiering, which let me tell you, Hallmark, they probably got a lot of Lifetime viewers. They were like, oh. You have Travis Kelsey's mom's in it. Exactly. Exactly. They heard what Lifetime was doing with their movie and they're like, well, one up them
Starting point is 00:25:42 and get Travis Kelsey's mom and everyone will watch our channel instead. Review the other one you watch, though. That's about the Chiefs. Okay. Four out of five. That's high. That's really good. But for Christmas movies? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:25:57 I feel like they're all a five. Okay. So four, your scale is weird. Yeah, you're a hard joke. I just don't understand it. I just don't understand it. So four out of five. Let me explain you to you like this.
Starting point is 00:26:06 I love all the Christmas movies so much that to me they're all like five out of five, except for hot frosty on Netflix. That one was so bad. That's new this year. Don't waste your time. And then holiday touchdown, four out of five because I felt like I was duped. So for it, I would be too half of them? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:26:26 Anyway, Americans have everyone. Okay. All right. Thank you, Amy. Lunchbox claims that he got into a fight with his neighbor. What happened? Yeah, I had to confront him because he raped all his leaves, but the problem is he just piled him in the street. And I'm not talking like a little pile.
Starting point is 00:26:40 I'm talking a gargantuan pile of leaves. And he just put him in the street. Problem is we street park. So he's taking up two spots on the street because he's got a big old pile of leaves. Can you not park on the line? leaves? No, no. These are like leaves up to your knees. I still feel like I can drive on top of them.
Starting point is 00:26:59 Well, I felt like he used the word gargantuan and that just me, to me, I don't think that that, like, if you were to drive up on top of them, you'd be almost like on a leaf hill. They're like, they're a leaves. Yeah, but there's been a big pile leaves. I mean, I'm looking at the pile here and it's a big pile, but okay, so anyway, we have audio of lunchbox
Starting point is 00:27:14 confronting his neighbor. You recorded this? Yeah. Do you have a good holiday, man? Yeah, it was good. How about yours? It's, you know, great, But, I mean, I did notice that I guess you decided to, you know, rate the leaves. Yard looks great. Oh, yeah, there were lots and lots of leaves. I had to get them off my grass.
Starting point is 00:27:30 I didn't want it to die. Yeah, yeah, but you just piled them in the street. Like, I mean, it's just, the city comes and they'll get them or it'll blow away. It's all I just, it was by that, that, well, I don't want to have hurt your people, but it's a junk car you have moved in months. So I just thought it'd be a good spot for them. Yeah, I mean, you know the car doesn't work, and I've told you that before that it, but it does just sit there, but I just didn't think. Are you going to move in? eventually but I don't think the leaves in the street
Starting point is 00:27:56 I mean I guess I mean it looks bad but yeah I mean it's kind of annoying a couple weeks it'll be fine it'll be fine by New Year's or something like that see you later man okay a lot of stuff to unpack here my gosh I feel like I just watch like an awkward scene you know like in the office or on the office so let's go to the leaves first does the city come and get rid of the leaves I don't think you'd be bagged yeah I think you got I don't think they just scoop them off the street okay number two the He's talking about his lunchbox's car. The Ultima.
Starting point is 00:28:26 Yeah. Yeah, he did pile him up right behind it. Maybe. This is a passive-aggressive way for him to say, don't judge me when you left your junk car on the side of the road. And he also, when anybody uses the line not to be rude or I don't want to hurt your feelings. Yeah, usually they're going to hurt your feelings. Exactly. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:45 So would you move and get rid of your car for him to move the leaves? I mean, because it looks like you're both hogging a bunch of space. on the street. A junk car and leaves that are just piled there. I mean, the car has not moved. I mean, it is pretty gross. And I get it. And it does need to move. It needs to be taken care of. But the leaves, I don't know. It just seems like it's crazy to just throw them in the street. Like, am I missing something? Well, when you say your car needs to be taken care of, what do you mean? Do you just want to towed away and gone forever? Well, you can gift him that for Christmas or something.
Starting point is 00:29:17 A what? A towing his car? Yeah. He said it. I'll trip in. Yeah. It's going to cost more tow, then it's worth. Yeah, we have to get rid of it. Remember when he went and took it in and got an appraisal? How much? Like $425 for the whole car. What if we sell it for parts? But now it would have to be a donation.
Starting point is 00:29:38 Like I'd have to do it to like a car that does cars for people. I think the guy knew you had no basis to stand on. You're like, hey, the leaves are in the street and he's like, so is your junk car. Check, checkmate. Yep. Move your car. Or you could really do the past. passive aggressive thing and bag the leaves.
Starting point is 00:29:57 What? No, no, no, that's not passive aggressive. That's getting rid of him for him. It is, but it's also showing him, well, if you're not going to do it, I guess I'll do it. And he's not going to like that. Like, that's like, I'm going to get you in a way you never thought you'd even be bothered by being God. Oh, I think that's me doing work for him that he didn't do. And I don't, I thought you were going to say throw him back in his yard.
Starting point is 00:30:20 That's just aggressive. That's just aggressive. That would be aggressive, yes. So what's the plan? What are you going to do? I mean, what I do? I've been doing for the couple days. I've let the kids play in it,
Starting point is 00:30:30 so they kind of throw the leaves and helps like disperse them a little bit. So you're putting them back more into the road or more to his yard? Both. When are you getting rid of the car? I don't know. Okay.
Starting point is 00:30:40 I mean, it's hard to let go. It's not. It's piece of metal. We've all said by to cars that we've loved. Yeah. Everyone. And that's just parked on the street and it's taking up spaces.
Starting point is 00:30:50 That's okay. Yeah, and I still got to clean it out, and the problem is now I just put the leaves in the trunk and drop off. Oh, he doesn't drive. Oh, yeah, sorry, sorry, John Carr. Well, but I did a pretty good job. Like, I let him know.
Starting point is 00:31:03 No, really. I think you think you're a lot more aggressive and stronger than you are. Let us know how that turns out. Oh, he should get his other neighbor on it that really takes care of business. Oh, yeah, that guy. He does have a neighbor that takes care of business and saves lives. Right. We're not talking about Alpha Adam. All right.
Starting point is 00:31:18 A survey asked 2,000 adults. What was your favorite Christmas song you loved as a kid? Time for the Bobby Fuge. We flipped a coin backstage. Amy is the winner. A survey has 2,000 adults. Your favorite Christmas song as a kid? Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer.

Starting point is 00:32:42 You did as a kid? What? That was like the lamest Christmas song ever. I didn't even know what that stuff was. Show me that one. I was out of Christmas songs. Eddie? This is easy.

Starting point is 00:33:28 Yeah I hear you Yeah. But the kids, yeah, show me that one. One thing. White Christmas is. Points are now doubled right now after round one. Eddie with 12. Lunchbox with nine. Amy with five.
Starting point is 00:33:43 There are only four answers left on the board. 2,000 adults were asked, what was your favorite Christmas song as a kid? Babies cold outside? Korea. Show me that one? Yeah. You better watch out. You better not, pal, I'm telling you why Santa Claus is coming to town.
Starting point is 00:34:10 Santa Claus covers them. Good one, dude. At number five. Give yourself 10 points there. All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth. Show me the teeth. What? Dang, I had that one too.
Starting point is 00:34:27 Oh, man, I thought I home run that one. Eddie. We're running out of songs. Give me Felice Navidad. Oh, going back to your homeland. People love doing that. Nah, nah, nah, no. Like South Texas?
Starting point is 00:34:40 Yeah, yeah, yeah. Show me the rest of them. Oh, no. That's a good one. It's a good one. But I think maybe you grew up in South Texas. I was a little more popular there. It was really big down there.
Starting point is 00:34:49 Yeah. Number one all year, actually. Okay, so we're around three. Points are tripled. Amy, there are three songs left. Six, eight, and ten. We're looking for. Two thousand adults were pulled.
Starting point is 00:35:03 Favorite Christmas song as a kid? Oh, Little Town of Bethlehem. Okay, show me that one. Amy has been eliminated. Uh-oh. Yeah. Yeah. You're gonna go over them or no?
Starting point is 00:35:17 If you'd like. I'd like to hear what has been set, like what has been on the way. You don't write them down? Amy, no, I'm trying to just come up with a song. I don't try to write them down. Rudolph at one. Jingle Bell's at two. Frosty at three.
Starting point is 00:35:29 Rocking at four. Santa Claus is coming to town at five. Benomal got run over by reindeer at 7 and hippopotamus at 9. Three left. Yeah, all right. I'm going to go with Santa Baby. What is that? Mariah Carey song, Santa Baby. Show me Santa Baby.
Starting point is 00:35:59 All right, Eddie, you are in second place. If you get one of these, you win. If you miss, Lunchbox wins. I'm thinking, like, is Mariah Carey was? Is that when we were kids? I feel like I was a kid singing that song. I just don't know if it was a song. Oh, so you thought maybe that would be in there?
Starting point is 00:36:17 Three left. I'm between two. What are the two you between? Because nobody can still up from you. Walking in a winter wonderland. Walking in a winter wonderland. And Mariah Carey. All I want for Christmas is you.
Starting point is 00:36:30 I feel like when we were kids, that was plain. I'm not sure, though. I'm not 100%. But I'm going to go with Mariah. Well, I can tell you this. Show me walking in a winter wonderland. Yes. If you get this, you are the champion.
Starting point is 00:36:45 Come on. Show me, Mariah Carey, all I want for Christmas is you. Yeah, Christmas. Woo! Dang. On the list at number six, the Chipmunk song. Oh, worse. Christmas, don't be late.
Starting point is 00:37:04 At number eight, here come Santa Claus. Here come Santa Claus, right down Santa Claus. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. And at number 10, jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell rock.
Starting point is 00:37:15 Winner, Mr. Christmas, Junior Varsity Lunchbow. It's time for the good news. With producer Eddie. Tell me something good. 16-year-old Tyler Jordan, he lives in Tennessee, but he loves to play music. He actually learned how to play guitar while he was battling a brain tumor at St. Jude Children's Medical Center, which is crazy that he actually was there, learn how to play, and make a wish foundation. found out his story and say, you know what, you love playing music, you want to be a record producer someday, they gifted him a whole recording studio that he can have now. And he says,
Starting point is 00:37:53 you know what, I've been making so much music, I can now put out my music, record it in my own studio, and everyone can hear it. That's super cool. They did them. That's really, really cool. Which is also, too, the ability to acquire the skills to even get better at it. It's not just the gift of it. It's the gift of being able to, like, learn to do it. That's pretty cool. And they said while he was at St. Jude, he would be doing his treatment, and he'd little by little learn how to play the guitar. That is what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good.
Starting point is 00:38:19 A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care what you're saying. Yep, that's me, Clivert Taylor the 4th. You might have seen the skits, the reactions, my journey from basketball to college football,

And in this new season of The Girlfriends, Oh my God, this is the same man. A group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist. I felt like I got hit by a truck. The family court hearings that followed revealed glaring inconsistencies in her story. This began a years-long court battle to prove the truth. You doctored this for particular test twice in so-ins, correct?
Starting point is 00:41:21 I doctored the test ones. It took an army of internet detectives to crack the case. I wanted people to be able to see what their tax dollars were being used for. Sunlight's the greatest disinfected. They would uncover a disturbing pattern. Two more men who'd been through the same thing. Greg Alespie and Michael Marantini. My mind was blown.
Starting point is 00:41:41 I'm Stephanie Young. This is Love Trap. Laura, Scottsdale Police. As the season continues, Laura Owens, finally faces consequences. Ladies and gentlemen, breaking news at Maricopa County as Laura Owens has been indicted on fraud charges.

Starting point is 00:42:15 and the Big Money Players Network. It's Will Farrell My dad gave me the best advice ever I went and had lunch with him one day And I was like And dad I think I want to really give this a shot I don't know what that means But I just know the groundlings
Starting point is 00:42:32 I'm working my way up through And I know it's a place that come Look for up and coming talent He said if it was based solely on talent I wouldn't worry about you Which is really sweet Yeah He goes but there's so much luck involved
Starting point is 00:42:43 And he's like Just give it a shot He goes, but if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit. If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration. It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat. Just hang in there. Yeah, it would not be. Right, it wouldn't be that.
Starting point is 00:43:07 There's a lot of luck. Listen to Thanks Dad on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcasts. Let's go to Amy's morning corny. The morning corny. Why is Santa afraid of getting stuck in a chimney? What's that? He has claws dysphobia. Ah, good.
Starting point is 00:43:29 Santa Claus. Yeah, I get it, I get it. Yeah. That was the morning corny. A couple of Tuesday reviews days. I'll go first. On Netflix, there's a show called Black Doves. Anybody watched?
Starting point is 00:43:42 No. Nope. It's awesome. And you're going to tell me that Kira Nyeyeye. and Natalie Portman aren't the same person? Same person for sure. Same person. Okay, hold on in my head right now.
Starting point is 00:43:53 I'm trying to tell them apart. I know exactly what Natalie Portman looks like. I think the difference is one is British, but they can always play those accents up. Same person to me. But this one's Keira Knightley and the black doves. They're basically spies. It's a six-part series on Netflix.
Starting point is 00:44:09 It's awesome. I give it four and a half out of five confusion on who the main actress is. Okay. Okay. Oh, wow. Yeah. Is it Natalie Portman or Kiranke Knightley? It's Kira Knightley. But I kept going, if you said pick one and maybe about my life on it, I wouldn't know. But Black Doves, it's awesome. It gets a 98% on Rotten Tomatoes. It's on Netflix. It gets only six parts, but it's really, really great. So that's my Tuesday, Reviews Day. Amy, have anything? I have nothing. Well, nothing that I'm allowed to talk about. Because you're not done. No soft reviews. Correct. All right. Mike, D. Movie, Mike, anything? Yeah, I watch a movie called Y2K. It's like a horror comedy about what, what, what, whatever? happen if the white two case scare actually happened. So all these like technology things
Starting point is 00:44:49 are revolting against humans. And what is that on? It's in theaters. Ah, I don't watch that. Okay, review it. I give it three out of five Tomogatchez. If this movie would have came out in 1999, it would have been a huge hit. Right now if it's a little bit dated.
Starting point is 00:45:04 Tomogacchi's those little toys that we're supposed to keep alive, right? Dole digital toys? You get to feed them and everything. I want to go talk to Erica in Texas. Erica needs some advice. Erica, what's up? I haven't talked to my. ex-husband in almost two years. We have two children and the youngest one is 17th. She was six,
Starting point is 00:45:22 so she's taking college courses in high school. And I need to pay $600 by January for her to continue to take these courses. How do I go about talking to my husband when I haven't talked to him? Do you have a text message, an email? Do you have any of those ways to get a hold of them? Nope. I deleted everything and my daughter only talks to him on the weekends because she has to. So if she can talk to him though, does she have the information to be able to get a hold of him? She does, but she doesn't want anything from him. When she turns 18, she's done with him because of what he has done. You need the money?
Starting point is 00:45:56 I mean, is this something that you need? Like right now, it's not easy to give $600. It's not easy to get $600. She's a senior this year, and she's been taking high school, or sorry, college courses since she was a sophomore. So when she graduates and goes into college next year, she'll already have her bachelor's and she just needs to get her hands on training for marine biology. Dang. And how do you feel about reaching out to your husband to ask for something?
Starting point is 00:46:25 Is that something that you just don't want to do but you feel like you have to do? For this, I have to do, I feel, but I don't want to. I mean, he cheated on me with my step sister. Oh my gosh. Okay, yeah, that's terrible, but right now I'm just like very fired up for you. Like, regardless of, yeah, what happened? or what he did, he needs to contribute to the well-being of your daughter. And so if I don't know what the situation is, if he's paid anything over this period of time,
Starting point is 00:46:53 but he absolutely should be contributing to this. And you should, with kindness, you need to get the number from your daughter. And I know it's probably not fun to talk to him, but you need to say like, hey, this is what I've spent over this, this, this and this. And this is what's due. And I need you to contribute. Amy brings up a great point. Has he contributed anything in the past couple years?
Starting point is 00:47:13 Which he's with her, yes. Okay, that's not enough. And the only thing, no, it's not. The only thing he pays on a regular basis is the insurance because she's on his insurance. But all the medical bills that we've had to pay for since she was sick, I've had to pay for. Is it to you? So because I work at the- I'm sorry, is it to you, is there something too about it where you, you would rather not ask them because you just don't want to be involved?
Starting point is 00:47:40 Like if you had it, you'd just rather pay it yourself. it's not the principle of him paying because it's the daughter, it's the principal in your mind. You don't want to deal with him and you wish you could just pay it. Oh, I don't want to deal with him at all and I would pay it if I had it. I mean, there's a lot to it when I found out that it was my step-sister. I got her kicked out of the military as well. Dude, that's crazy. It was a step-sister.
Starting point is 00:48:03 Wait, how did you get her kicked out of the military? Was he in the military too? Because you can't be doing that. No, he was not in the military. Well, he was in the past, but he had, hasn't been in for 12 years. She was stationed over here in San Antonio, and I knew who her command was, and I sent them proof. And, yeah.
Starting point is 00:48:24 Would you rather stick it to him and get the money, as in like a stick it and you owe us, or would you rather just have the money and never talk to him again? I've been trying to get extra shifts at the clinic that I work at. And, I mean, it's coming, but it's not coming fast enough for January. Okay. Because the money's due January 16th. How much do you need? $600. Do you have Venmo?
Starting point is 00:48:45 You have $600. No, Bobby, she needs to call him. If she doesn't want to talk to him and she doesn't want him contributing so he can't hold it against her, I'm happy to just Venmo or the money. I know that you are. No. Okay. You have Venmo? I can fix this right now.
Starting point is 00:48:57 I do have Venmo, but no, I don't want your money. Thank you. I know you do this a lot, but no. If you don't want to deal with him and you're working on this, let a friend help you out. I'm happy to help you out and then screw him. It's not even like a let me help you. It's more like screw the dude. if he's never involved, don't bring him involved so we can hold it over your head.
Starting point is 00:49:15 Like screw him. He screwed you. Well, I screwed your step sister. Basically, he screwed you over. It would make me feel good to help. Would you let me do that, please, and you never have to even talk to him again because he's such a freaking loser. Say yes. Okay.
Starting point is 00:49:30 I mean. Say yes. Okay. Okay. Thank you. I'm going to put you on hold. Screw him. Don't talk to him.
Starting point is 00:49:37 No, I don't talk to him. No, no, no, no. Do you know what really screw him? You give her the $600 and then she asks him for it. boom, she's on top. If she wants to double up to catch us, that's great. You can do that too. Double up.
Starting point is 00:49:45 But I don't want her to have the stress of it. Stay on hold, Erica. Don't feel bad. I'm happy to do this. I got you. I'm going to send this over to you now. And that is the end of the first half of the podcast. A win is a win.
Starting point is 00:50:18 A win is a win. I don't care what I'm saying. Yep, that's me. Clifford Taylor the 4th. You might have seen the skits, my basketball and college football journey, or my career in sports media. Well, now I'm bringing all of that excitement to my brand new podcast, The Clifford Show.
