Come on, Bobby.
Transmitting.
Welcome to Tuesday show.
Morning studio.
Morning.
All right, fill in the blank.
I saw this on TikTok.
I immediately think less of you if blank.
And I'll go first.
I immediately think less of you or whomever it is.
If there is, I'm not even going to say rude.
If there's a lack of acknowledgement to a server or someone that's doing
you know, any sort of
wait, table waiting,
register service job, that kind of thing.
So it doesn't have to be rude because I don't think most people are rude,
but if there's not even a lack of acknowledgement,
like that irritates me as well.
Probably because I worked a service for a long time.
Well, I'm sure of it.
I think that's it for me.
I think less of you, if that.
Amy, you want to go?
Yeah, when you don't...
Me?
No, not you.
When someone just leaves their grocery car
in the parking lot. They don't return it to the little cubby that's in the parking lot or take it all the way back into the store.
Like when people just like load up their car and then let the cart roll, I'm like, what? Yeah, let the car roll is pretty bad.
Yes. I used to drag cards at Hobby Lobby. We have to drag cards. I think lunchbox is also drag cards.
And it sucks if they just leave them straight. Also, there is a part of the day though that you're going to gather them at the end of the day. It's kind of like a break.
Sure. I don't want people to leave them out. But, you know, if you spend an extra few minutes out walking out the parking lot,
Sometimes it ain't so bad.
Okay.
But, yes, I agree.
At least put them back in that little...
Like, it doesn't make sense.
The little orange...
The little thing with the orange...
Just walk into the store.
Just walk into the store.
That far back?
Ooh, I don't know.
See, I would say just put it into the little machine
because you're not going to get people
to take it all the way back to the stores.
I don't think less of you if you do the little,
like, yeah, the cubbies that are created or whatever.
But the people, like, I see it.
I saw it just the other day.
And it was a woman.
I don't know why I was thinking she should be more considerate.
But yeah, she just loaded up her thing.
and then just kind of drove off and let it.
And then that's when you risk, like, dinging a car.
I just don't understand that behavior.
But also it takes up a space, too, if you leave it.
Yeah.
Or just sit in a space.
So, yeah, okay.
Eddie, if you drive fast in my neighborhood,
I mean, we're not going to be friends, like, whoever you are.
Even if they live there?
There's somebody that lives in my neighborhood that drives fast,
continues to drive fast, even though kids are outside.
I'm like, dude, I don't care if you're the nice person in the world.
We are not going to be friends.
Do you know where they live?
Oh, yeah.
Would you say anything to them if they were to appear in front of you?
Yeah, I would do it like passively aggressive.
I don't think you would.
I felt that answer.
No, no, no, no.
I'd be like, hmm, drop pretty fast down this road, don't you?
Oh, God.
You would say that.
You're the least confrontational guy on the show.
You would say that.
And then we'll see.
I mean, I'm not going to fight over it, but I'd be like, hey, man, you guys just slow down.
There's kids out here playing.
Because I even have that little guy with a flag.
Sometimes I put a cone around the middle of the road if the kids are out.
I don't want people driving fast in my neighborhood.
You put a cone in your, oh yeah.
That's cool.
Yeah.
Do you put one of those guys with the kids at play and they have a little flag?
There's like a little statue.
I have that guy.
No, you do not.
You are such a loser.
You are such a loser.
That's a good.
I don't mind it.
And I like put it in the middle of the road so I have to drive around it.
That's the best.
I thought you'd leave it in the yard.
You're supposed to leave it.
Yeah, most people leave it on the curb and they have little flags sticking out.
Hey, there's kids at play.
If the kids are playing, it's in the middle of the road.
And they have to slow down and drive around it.
It's the best.
They also should be driving fast in your neighborhood.
I agree.
Because your neighborhood's not a fast drive.
neighborhood. You're not really getting anywhere. Correct. I'm close to the end of the right.
Yeah. Lunchbox, you? Yeah. If you don't like sports.
So you like someone less if they don't like sports? Yeah. Like if I start talking to someone
and they're like, oh, yeah, I don't really follow sports. Oh. What it? So is that just dudes?
Yeah. Yeah. Like other dads? Yeah, other dads. Like it's like, you're like, oh man, she's that
game last night. I don't really follow football. All right, man. I'm going to go to talk to this guy
over here, man. Yeah, that's almost like someone. They're like, I don't have social media. You're like, really?
Yeah, it's so weird and strange.
And like, I know it's not like take a cart back or, you know, driving too fast.
But I get it.
Oh, man.
We're not going to be friends.
I talked to someone who hadn't watched five football games in their life.
I'm like, well, that's crazy.
Sports isn't for everybody.
And I know artists in town who don't follow sports at all.
And that's because they are extremely artistic.
And they spend their time focus on other things.
Weird for me.
Always the easiest for me to bond with someone over sports.
If I mean anybody knew, I could be like, where you're from?
And I'll know something about their hometown who went to school there, who played pro.
Like, for me, that's a pretty solid engagement tool.
It's the first icebreaker.
You know, if they're like a team, you know if they're doing good or not?
You're like, oh, man, tough season, man.
I agree.
Maybe you guys should diversify your, like, mental portfolios, though.
Ah, yeah, I had one person talk to me, try to talk to me about art.
Oh, who knows about art?
Exactly.
And I was like, what kind of art?
I don't know.
They're like, oh, I, they were like,
oh, you're ubiquitous, though.
Art is not.
Ubigotous?
Everywhere.
So sports is everywhere in our culture.
Art is not.
Not the people know about it.
Like there's a whole,
there's not a whole channel on art.
But art is everywhere.
No, no, because I try to talk sports,
and they're like, no, I'm more into art.
You know, you know, this artist?
And I was like, no, man, I don't know what you're talking about.
Oregon.
Mine's if you don't like animals.
Like, if somebody says to me, I don't like dogs,
I don't like cats.
If they, like, empathize with animals, anything on that level.
Yeah, I do know people like, I hate cats.
Do you hate them or is that just cool to say?
There's a lot of people that will say that.
They're like, I really hate cats.
Or like, there's people that purposely hate squirrels on the road.
Like, those are the kind of people I don't like.
Come on.
No, I don't think that.
I don't really think that's a thing.
The squirrels are so quick.
You would wreck trying to, on purpose, hit it.
I don't know about that.
Have you guys ever made by the hit a squirrel on purpose?
I have.
How do you think I know this?
It's all their ex-boyfriends.
Yeah.
No.
No, I do.
Oh, and I grew up with a bunch of idiots.
But, no, you try.
Sometimes you don't swerve because you don't want to hit something.
I accidentally hit him.
Yeah.
I never had anybody chase a squirrel down to kill it.
I'm going to get it.
All right, we're here.
Oh, Bobby Bones.
I've been dating my girlfriend for more than a year, and things are going really well.
I've had good relationships before, but it always reaches a point where I bail.
And that usually is when things start to get serious.
I get scared and start to wonder if this is the person I could spend the rest of my life with.
and ultimately I've always pulled away.
I don't want to sabotage this relationship,
but I don't know how to get past my fear of commitment.
Should I talk to my girlfriend about it,
or is it something I need to work out on my own?
Signed, skittish, Scott.
It's a tough one I can relate a bit.
For me, honestly, it was more so about meeting somebody
that made you want to go,
oh, I need to stop being lame and running away from stuff
because otherwise, I am.
I would imagine that there's a lot of girls
that probably weren't the right girl anyway.
But when I met my wife, everything was just kind of different
where it was like, oh.
And it wasn't even that I was like, I'm going to pull away.
It was like, dang, I've pulled away from everything else.
I don't feel like pulling away now.
This is weird.
Like, that was the weird feeling.
And so I'm not going to say when you know, you know,
because I feel like that's a lame thing to say.
But if you're even considering it like you are here,
I think there's more substance to any other relationship
you've ever had.
So you can choose to talk to.
that's good. You can choose to talk to somebody that you trust that's married that has had a healthy
relationship. I'm like I say perfect. There is no perfect relationship and get their feedback. But I definitely
would not let this go. And if you, it feels like if you do run away from this one, you'll regret it.
Because it's probably the first time we've ever asked this. Yeah, I think having the awareness is like,
that's the big deal. That's what I was thinking I was reading it. It's a, it's a thing to pay attention to.
And so like Bobby said, seek out somebody you can talk to, whether it's her. But in addition,
Try to doing some deeper work to figure out what's the root of the running.
If you're telling her, you're just letting her know what's happening.
You're not actually asking for her feedback on it because she's biased.
You're just letting her know, hey, if it's weird, this is what's happened to me in the past.
I don't want this to happen again, but I'm just letting you know.
Don't go to her and be like, what do you think?
She's for sure biased.
I just be like, I realized about myself that I try to get ahead of the pain.
And this is the first time that I've ever wanted to fix this.
I think that is just that's what I read.
It's the first time you've ever wanted to fix it.
And I think you found somebody here that's worth investing in that uncomfortable amount of time
that you're going to have to spend moving through this.
Not getting past it, but moving through it for this.
But I'll be like, hey, so if I go MIA next week, this is why.
I mean, you can even do that a little bit.
All right.
Good luck, man.
I'm rooting for you because it sounds like you found one that is really something special.
Here's a voicemail from last night.
So my husband is military and we moved earlier this year.
And because of the move, I got really behind on the podcast.
Well, now my husband's deployed, and I finally have the time to catch up on all of the podcast that I had missed.
So I just wanted to say thank you guys for keeping me company.
I've been listening for a really long time, like over a decade.
And I love the show.
So thanks for what y'all do.
Man, thanks for listening.
I get tired of us after just a few hours, like in the room.
The fact that people listen, like they binge listen, that is a great compliment.
Thank you so much.
You can find the Bobby Bone Show podcast wherever you podcast.
Podcasting is free.
All you have to do is search for the Bobby Bone Show.
And it'll be up there.
We put up extra content too almost daily, like almost full shows of us just continuing on the show.
All right.
Give me one more, Ray.
Hey, Bobby.
I wanted to let Lunchbox know that I bought a scratch-off ticket for the second time in my life today.
$100.
Don't give up Lunchbox.
You can do it.
I'm just blown away that Lunchbox has never won more than $250.
That's crazy.
As much as he plays.
That to me.
mind-blown emoji.
$250.
Like, that's a lot, but that's not a lot
when you've played for...
How old am I?
Exactly.
Here's Amy's pile of stories.
So brides are ditching the bottom part of their gowns
halfway through their wedding
so they can dance the nightway
but also signify like,
hey, now I've got a fun dress
for when it's my anniversary
and it's something they're doing at the altar.
Like they say I do, cut the dress.
Once box invented tearaway pants.
I did.
He claims he did.
That's great.
One of the big controversies where InVen America had a contest.
Yeah, Reed Elementary and they said, hey, come up with something.
And I hated going to school because it was kind of cold in the morning and I'd wear pants.
Then it would get hot and you'd be sweating.
And I was like, man, I need something for that.
So I invented tearaway pants where at the knees I had Velcro on it and you could rip them off into shorts.
And they told me, no dice.
But Michael Cox put a cup holder in a car.
They're like, oh, this is genius.
I'm sure it was more than just a cup holder in a car.
Secondly, we went and looked at when someone patented the idea of tear away pants and it was like the 70s.
So way before luncheoners.
Way before, but also that feels like what the bride is doing now.
Just tear away breast.
Ter away dress.
Dress, yes.
All right, what else?
There's a list of the great American dishes that CNN put out.
And in at number two is fried okra.
Okay, love fried okra.
It's my favorite side at Cracker Barrel.
And I would put macaroni and cheese at number one probably.
That's good.
Number one is barbecue.
That's not a side.
Barbecue is main course.
I said dishes.
Oh, she said dishes.
Oh, she said dishes.
Well, then fried ochre can't be number two.
It's just any kind of dish.
Yeah, I have trouble with this.
Fried ochre is the number one side, but it is not the number one.
Like fried chicken may be number two.
That's a main course.
Yeah, I have a problem with this list.
I've spent way too much on thinking about it.
And that's only 10 seconds.
So what else on the list?
Any other ones you see there?
Cobb salad, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.
Cobb salad?
But who's that out of here?
Grits,
clam chowder.
Grits are only really good if you put a lot of sugar in them.
Grits?
No, grits are savory.
No,
that's why you put a lot of sugar in that.
My grandma used to make grits and I just pumped the sugar in that.
Okay, this is stupid.
I've never heard of sweet grits.
Tell me more.
They're not sweet.
You just try to get them back to eat them.
Yeah.
It's like when you would eat Cheerios,
not honey nut, just the normal Cheerios.
Oh, yeah.
You put a bunch of so much sugar and you mix it up in the milk real quick.
Otherwise it sits on the bottom.
I do that with corn flakes.
Yeah.
Oh, well, okay.
I think you've had the wrong grits because like cheesy garlic grids.
Those are amazing.
We didn't have cheese and garlic.
My girl wanted to make grits.
All right, what else?
Okay, this is like your 10,000th reminder to get a hobby because this whole study came out of Texas A&M University.
Found that if you engage in a hobby every day, like reading, playing word games, or working on projects that help others, this will help your brain and you're going to live longer.
It's a mental workout for yourself.
Also the reminder of November 3rd is daylight savings time switch right.
Oh.
I thought it might be this month.
It's not.
What does that have to do with the hobby?
You said a reminder.
When I think of reminders, I'm like, I need to be reminded of daylight savings time.
I need to get myself ready.
What's your latest hobby, though?
I don't know cards.
Memorabilia?
Yeah.
I got to make you man on ball the other day.
That's awesome.
I brought in the Orville Wright sign check.
People said I was a nerd.
That's really cool, man.
Thank you.
How does that exercise your mental?
It doesn't.
I exercise in a check and count, though.
No, but it is something that you get involved in and you've learned a lot about.
I play PlayStation.
Okay.
I play one game right now.
Well, that's a hobby.
You're reducing your risk of dementia every time you play.
Okay, well, I need work quick then.
I'm going pretty fast.
All right, what else?
I'm Amy.
That's my file.
That was Amy's pile of storage.
It's time for the good news.
With Bobby.
Hey, I don't know.
If you're new to the show, maybe you don't know.
I am extremely colorblind to very dark colors.
So dark green, dark blue, black, brown.
They all look the same to me once they hit a certain threshold.
And so it's not really something I feel like I'm missing because it's always been that way.
And sometimes they'll do these people and they have like these colorblind.
Oh, check out these glasses.
They don't work for me because my vision is also so bad.
So I can't really put on the colorblind glasses and see colors.
But it's fine because I don't know any different.
But I do like this park in Virginia is putting viewfinders up for the colorblind with those glasses.
Oh, that's cool.
Yeah.
I love that.
Especially like in the fall, like Virginia,
like Massachusetts, New Hampshire.
I've just been once.
What did they call that foilage?
Bollage?
Bollage.
I think it's foliage.
Like all the leaves, like that's where you want to see colors.
So pretty.
So I've been told.
That's like my dad after he got LASIC.
He said he went outside and he saw things like just in the simple,
like trees, simple things in the sky that like he didn't get to see before.
Virginia State Parks are making these devices available to allow those with
red, green, color vision deficiency to see the fall colors in all their glory.
I love that.
Which, by the way, there are people, I guess I'm not legitimately colorblind.
I'm color deficient.
Oh.
So I'm blind in certain colors, but there are people that just see in black and white.
Oh, gosh, that's crazy.
That's wild because I'll see on TikTok because I'm on the colorblind algorithm.
So it's people showing what is really weird is they're like, this is what people that are colorblind see.
This is what normal people see.
But if they do mine, I see just two the same screens.
Same thing.
That's the bizarre one.
But they'll do the full-colored line where it's black and white.
And I'm like, oh, that would be crazy.
So a big shout out to Virginia for putting those in.
That's a big deal to some people like myself.
That's what it's all about.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
A win is a win.
A win is a win.
I don't care what I'm saying.
Yep, that's me, Cliver Taylor the 4th.
You might have seen the skits, the reactions, my journey from basketball to college football,
or my career in sports media.
Well, somewhere along the way, this platform became bigger than I,
ever imagined. And now I'm bringing all of that excitement to my brand new podcast, The Clifford Show.
This is a place for raw, unfiltered conversations with some of your favorite athletes,
creators, and voices that not only deserve to be heard, but celebrated. One week, I'll take

American soccer is about to explode.
The World Cup is coming.
Ramos sending on to Ernie Stewart the chip.
I'm Tad Ramos.
I'm Tom Boe.
On our podcast, inside American soccer, you'll get the real storylines.
I'm not worried about Policicic, I'm not worried about Balagan, I'm not worried about McKinney.
My only concern is what happens in the back.
The biggest decisions.
If you're going to look at stats and numbers, he has no shot at making this World Cup team.
And the truth about the U.S. national team.
It wouldn't be a huge surprise if our team ends up in the quarterfinals or potentially a great run into the semifinals.
The World Cup is almost here.
Experience it all with us.

I went and sat on the little ottoman in front of him.
Hi, Dad.
And just when I said that, my mom comes out of the kitchen.
She says, I have some cookies and milk.
This is a badass convict.
Right.
Just finished five years.
I'm going to have cookies and milk at him all.
Yeah.
On the senior show podcast, each episode invites you into a raw, unfiltered conversations about recovery, resilience, and redemption.
On a recent episode, I sit down with actor, cultural icon Danny Trail to talk about addiction, transformation, and the power of second chances.
The entire season two is now available to bench featuring powerful conversations with the guests like Tiffany Addish, Johnny Knoxville, and more.
I'm an alcoholic.
And without this trouble, I'm going to die.

I feel like it was a little bit unbelievable until I really start making money.
It's Financial Literacy Month, and the podcast, Eating While Broke,
is bringing real conversations about money, growth, and building your future.
This month, hear from top streamer, Zoe Spencer, and venture capitalist Lakeisha Landrum-Pierre,
as they share their journeys from starting out to leveling up.
If I'm outside with my parents and they're seeing all these people come up to me for pictures,
it's like, what?
Today now, obviously, it's like 100%.
They believe everything.
But at first it was just like, you got to go get a real job.
There's an economic component to community striving.
If there's not enough money and entrepreneurship happening in communities, they fail.
And what I mean by fell is they don't have money to pay for food.
They cannot feed their kids.
They do not have homes.
Communities don't work unless there's money.
flowing through them.

You can have opinions.
You can have like a strong stance.
And then there's your body having its own program.
I'm Dr. Maya Shunker, a cognitive scientist and hosts of the podcast, a slight change of
plans, a show about who we are and who we become when life,
makes other plans. We share stories and scientific insights to help us all better navigate these
periods of turbulence and transformation. There is one finding that is consistent, and that is that
our resilience rests on our relationships. I wish that I hadn't resisted for so long the need to
change. We have to be willing to live with a kind of uncertainty that none of us likes.

Lunchbox and Amy versus Eddie, because Eddie knows more about music.
This is what they would call a handicap match in wrestling.
Totally.
Yes.
So Eddie, you're one man facing those two.
So I'll give you a country music lyrics question and answer it.
For example, this doesn't count.
And take me home country roads.
John Denver sings about which U.S. state.
Got it.
I got it.
Lunchbox.
West Virginia.
Correct.
Ha!
What up?
You guys, do you guys?
That's an easy one.
It's an example.
Very easy.
It's an example.
All right, write your answers down.
Here we go.
In Folsom Prison Blues, what sound does Johnny Cash hear from his prison cell?
Oh, lunchbox, I know it.
I do, too.
Hey, me.
Hold on, guys.
In Folsom Prison Blues, what sound does Johnny Cash hear from his prison cell?
Everybody in?
I'm in for the win.
Who answers one of us?
It's tricky.
Multiple sounds.
So what we're going to do is, Eddie, you're in.
So you two can decide on your answer.
Yeah, Amy, it's the train coming around the bin.
It's just a train of coming.
It's just a coming, but it's not around the bend.
I think it does come around the bend.
I hear the train of coming.
It's coming around the bend.
Oh, yeah, you're right.
Thank you.
Yeah, dude.
I think of a different song.
I'm trying to say you're wrong.
Come on, man.
I know my music.
I pull back.
I pull back.
You're right.
Eddie?
Yeah, a train of coming.
Good.
A train.
Yes, correct.
All right, good.
One-to-one.
In neon moon by Brooks and Dunn, the bar he is drinking is located across from what?
In neon moon by Brooks and Dunn, the bar he's drinking at is located across from what?
He goes to a bar?
The bar is located across.
I can't even see the song.
I mean, careful.
The bar is located.
In neon moon by Brooks and Dunn, the bar he is drinking at is located across from what?
You have five seconds.
Oh, I'm in.
I got it too.
I know it.
Eddie, your answer?
It's in?
Okay, don't say anything.
You guys.
Amy, I got her house.
Nope, that's not it.
Oh.
I think you should go with that, though.
No.
Do you want me to say now?
Okay.
Railroad tracks.
Is that your answer?
Yes.
Yeah, we'll go with that.
Okay.
Eddie, what do you have?
County line.
There's a rundown bar across the railroad tracks.
No.
Table for two.
Way in the back.
Right.
Next up.
And Live Like You Were Dying by Tim McGraw.
Here we go.
How long does he ride on the bull named
Foo Manchu. I'm in.
In Live Like You Were Dying by Tim McGraw,
how long does he ride on the bull named Foo Manchu?
All right, I'm in.
I'm ready. Second guessing, no. I'm not.
Time? Amy, you ready?
Yeah. Four seconds. Fuck it out.
I have two point seven. I think that's better. I like that better.
Better than four? Hold on, hold on. Hold on.
I need an answer. I need two.
No, no, no, it's 2.7 on a bull name fame.
Commit, commit.
I'm 2.7.
You guys are going.
Yeah, we're going to the captain?
Yeah, yeah.
Okay, 2.7, Eddie?
2.7.
It's 2.7.
Yeah.
Well, you said it, Eddie.
It rhymed better than four.
I went 2.7 seconds on a bull name foo manchu.
Okay.
Eddie, you're down one.
It's not good.
What are the names of the two best friends and goodbye Earl by the chicks?
What?
What are the names of the two best friends?
in the song Goodbye Earl.
I'm in.
By the chicks.
Of course she's in.
Two friends.
Oh.
Oh.
Yeah.
I think I have one.
The name to the two best friends.
Dang, I'm an idiot.
Goodbye Earl.
Stupid.
All right, it's time.
Everybody up?
Yeah.
Lunchbox, what do you have?
Martha and Elizabeth.
Amy, what do you have?
No, it's Marianne and Wanda.
Ah, Mary.
See, I had the M.
Which one are you guys going to go with?
Oh, go with Mary Ann and Wanda.
He did get around the bend.
Yep.
Eddie?
I have Wanda and Anna.
Marianna and Wanda were the best of them.
That's up for you.
Yeah, very good.
This is not good.
No, it's not.
You're not doing too well.
And that don't impress me much by Shania Twain.
Okay.
What Hollywood actor is mentioned that she's not impressed with?
I'm in.
I'm in.
Lunch walk?
Also, it's not Brad Pitt.
Okay, I'm not in.
What?
Oh, you changed it on me.
What Hollywood actor, I'll give you a, because it's an actor, but he's also a singer.
I'm in.
Okay.
Huh?
And that don't impress me much by Shania Twain.
This actor and singer is mentioned that she's not impressed with,
but it's not Brad Pitt.
It's not a rocket scientist.
Oh.
I'm not in.
I'm kidding.
Man, they're faces.
Is that actor and a singer?
Yeah, five seconds.
I do a little tricky on you here.
He's the actor?
Oh, yeah.
Tons of movies.
Tons of movies.
Hollywood actor.
And a singer.
What's that guy's the thing?
Tons of movies.
Time?
You guys might not know him.
Lunchbox?
Yeah, I got Harry Connick Jr.
You think you're Harry Connick Jr. or something?
It's a lot of solos.
Harry Connick.
What ain't it?
Enrique Iglesias.
Enrique Iglesias.
So if I would have said singer and actor in that order,
it'd probably been a little more realistic,
but I did actor than singer. Eddie?
Elvis.
Elvis.
You think you're Elvis or something?
Yeah.
All right, there are two more.
Okay, I can come back.
But we had it right with Brad Pitt.
Well, yeah, but that wasn't it.
What two things does the man of Brad Paisley's I'm going to miss her have to choose between?
What two things does the man and Brad Paisley's I'm going to miss her have to choose between?
Five seconds.
What two things does the man and Brad Paisley's I'm going to miss her have to choose between?
I'm in.
I'm in.
All right, time.
Amy, fishing and his woman.
I have fishing and hunting.
No, no.
No, he's going to miss her.
Who are you going with? Which one are you going with?
Oh, he's choosing between her and the...
You're going with your answer or lunchboxes?
Oh, okay.
Lunchbox might be right.
Because he has to pick if he's going to go fishing or be with this woman.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, lunchboxes.
Eddie?
Fishing and picking out dresses.
No, it's fishing this woman.
Lunchbox is right?
Yeah.
Boom!
Let's go!
I brought that hammer down!
Yeah.
I was too, we'll do one more.
And All right by Darius Rucker, what artist's best of album?
I'm in!
You're going to.
lose anyway, so.
Hold on.
Does he have an stereo?
And All right by Darius Rucker, what artist's best of album does he have in a stereo?
All right.
All right.
I got it.
Lunchbox?
Taylor Swift.
No.
Amy.
Dave Matthews.
Eddie?
The best of Patsy Clyde.
All right.
But Eddie, you lose.
Amen.
Give these guys.
I don't know.
They don't have a...
Music knowledge.
Come to us.
Do you play both their songs together?
You did get two, lunchbox.
I got two.
That is pretty good.
I got the train one too.
I know, but he got two, though.
You don't have to take away from him to make you go better.
Oh.
We're not saying that you didn't get more than people.
We're not saying you didn't get.
We're a team too.
Yeah, yeah, but he got two.
That's pretty good for him.
That is good.
Good job.
Like you said he saw something disturbing in his neighborhood and he wants to share that with us.
Go ahead.
Yeah, so I saw some people out jogging.
I was like, oh, you know, a running group.
And then I look and it's inmates from the prison.
Jogging?
Jogging in my neighborhood.
Really?
Like there was, what are they wearing?
They were wearing a white t-shirt and like brown shorts.
And the guy at the front was in all black.
And the one in the back was in all black.
And it said like sheriff on the front.
So he's, they're running with inmates in between them.
There was like five inmates and two officers just jogging down the street out for exercise.
Yeah, that's not good.
I'm like, no, no, no, no.
Like, I understand you want him to get their exercise.
Do that on the yard.
Do that on the yon.
They have to be like low, low crime.
Okay.
Love them up down your street.
Hey kids, come on inside.
The inmates are out running.
Oh, interesting.
That's tricky, man.
Sorry, man, that ain't cool.
It's probably good behavior too.
Like, hey, if you're, you have a low crime and you've been good, you get to go outside for a run.
But why my street?
Do you live by a prison?
No.
You don't even live by a prison.
No.
That's what I'm saying.
Do they drive them into town to?
Maybe it's a crime.
country team.
You know, they're going long, long distance.
Are you sure they're prisoners and not UPS workers?
Yeah, but it says sheriff on the front of the guy in the front and the guy in the back?
I'm pretty sure those guys in the middle.
Could it be like Sheriff Academy?
Yeah.
Like people running that are actually law enforcement?
Yeah, they're, yeah.
Well, why wouldn't they say it on their shirts?
Why are they in matching white T-shirt?
Maybe they're trying out.
Yeah, that's the cat.
Does they look like prisoners?
So what?
They all had a shaved head.
Okay, this sounds like boot camp.
That's not good.
Could it be military?
Yeah.
then why would you have the sheriff on one
why would the sheriff be the buns?
Because that's what they do when they're the leaders.
If you're just trying out for the sheriff
I don't think you need a sheriff flanking you on both sides.
So then you don't like it.
Nah, I didn't feel very good about that one.
And there was no notice like, hey, we're going to be
running the inmates through the neighborhood today.
I think that should come on the Facebook.
They should do something?
Let me know.
Yeah.
So what do you think is worst case scenario, though?
I'm wondering why you think this is bad.
I mean, one darts right, one darts left.
there's only two sheriffs there to get those two
and then the other three are who? And what are they doing?
Who knows what they're doing? Breaking in their house? I mean
taking my car, my wife's car.
Anything. I don't know. I don't know what they're in for.
Yeah. Maybe you could ask that. Maybe you call.
Oh my goodness. Maybe you call
the sheriff's department or the local prison
and you ask that question. Hey, it's lunchbox here.
I noticed there were a couple of sheriffs and some inmates running down the road.
I would like more information about that.
Question one, what are they in for?
You're like, how do they get permission to be running on my streets?
Maybe you could voice your displeasure with them running down your streets.
Yeah, well, they didn't ask my opinion.
Like, they just decided they have this program, I guess.
I don't know.
I feel like that's where they won't break in.
Where they've been running.
Where they're running?
Yeah.
Well, there's their only option.
They've got to break in and get a car to get a get away.
You probably don't run away.
You probably have a lot of time of good behavior doing things right.
Lunchbox is right though.
If one goes left, the one goes right,
the guy's in the middle.
They're home free.
They're home free.
I just call their cops
and are five minutes away to come get them.
I just really feel like this is like an academy.
Many prisons offer programs
that allow prisoners to go jogging off and through
organized running clubs or inmates
can participate in structured running sessions.
Oh, or I just got swayed.
I think it's that.
If they've been good, I'm good for it.
We're trying to rehab them anyway,
get them out into society.
I'm all for it.
But they can do that in the yard.
Yeah, but they're not going to risk it.
Like, go out of the country.
Like go out in the country where there's no houses
Why don't you call? Why don't you call in my street?
Get down to the bottom of this.
I'll look into it.
Get down to the bottom of this.
Tuesday, Reviews Day.
Review something you've completed.
I'll go first.
We started watching slow horses on Apple.
Plus we finished the first season.
It's awesome.
I give it four and a half spies out of five.
They don't speak English.
They speak British.
Slight difference.
Okay.
So the accent?
Yeah, I guess it's more English while we speak.
We speak American, they speak English.
It's awesome, and I can't wait to start season two.
I didn't know what Slow Horses meant by the title of it, but it's great.
How you know?
Yes, it's only six episodes.
Slow Horses, if you go to Rotten Tomatoes, it's a 98%.
A dysfunctional team of MI5 agents and their obnoxious boss navigate the espionage world smoke and mirrors.
It's amazing.
There are three seasons fully.
There's a fourth they're doing now.
It's A-plus.
Anybody watch Slow Horses?
No.
You show. It's amazing. Amy, Tuesday, Reviews Day.
I watched the new Netflix rom-com show called Nobody Wants This.
Kristen Bell's in it. Adam Brody. It's written by Aaron Foster. It's so cute.
I don't know that you guys will really like it, but...
I watched some of it. My wife watched it.
Oh, okay. Did you like it?
I was watching Mr. McMahon on my phone.
My wife was watching it up on TV.
Yeah, it's very different.
It's kind of funny, though. He's...
A rabbi.
And she is...
Agnostic.
Yeah, there you go. So it's there, yeah.
And so it's navigating them trying to date.
and figure that all out. It's cute.
93% on Rotten Tomatoes. What do you give it?
Yeah. I guess
I could probably give it four out of
five stars.
Stars. You got to give it something.
Part of the movie. Podcast stars.
Unless she means Jewish stars.
Star David, which she didn't mean
we can definitely do that since he's a rabbi.
Yes, I'll save you. Lunchbox.
Thank you. I watched a movie called Hard Miles.
It's like teens that are in the juvenile system
and they're in and out of juvenile system
so this guy decides, you know what?
I'm going to start a biking program.
He's like, this will inspire them to turn their lives around.
And you like it?
It was all right.
The acting, not that great.
It was an inspirational movie.
Oh, it's not true?
No, it is true.
That was a documentary.
No, no.
But it is a true story.
It's like, you know, but it's played by actors.
I give it three and a half bicycles out of five.
Were you inspired at all?
It made me want to ride a bike more.
What about run through a neighborhood?
Nope. That's what I'm saying. I was like, they were doing it out in the middle of nowhere. I was okay with that. Morgan.
I watched Inside Out too on Disney Plus. It came out.
It was great. Awesome. It was really, really good. Even as an adult, you know, sometimes they gear more towards kids, but this one I felt really geared towards adult, especially with the main, like, new character.
Is that anxiety? Yeah. And she's a little orange one, and she was so good. I, I teared up a little bit, I think, because it felt super relatable. So I'd give it 4.5.
out of five orange
orange clouds.
Just say stars, we'll find a reason for it.
What was it called? Inside Out.
You never seen Inside Out?
No.
You never saw Inside Out One?
No.
I don't even watch those kind of movies
because I don't have kids.
I never watched them as a kid.
But I loved Inside Out One.
I thought it was great.
Hey, Mike D.
Wrap us up here.
I also saw an animated movie
called The Wild Robot in Theaters.
It's about this robot that crash lands on a planet
and starts taking care of this baby goose.
One of the best animated movies I've seen in years.
Wow.
What's it called?
The Wild Robot. What do you give it?
4.5 out of five goslings.
How about stars?
We'll figure it out later.
Yeah, yeah. In post. We'll fix that.
The Wild Robot.
How do you watch that? Theater or do you stream it?
In theaters.
Oh, right.
It drops three stars automatically for me.
I saw there's like a Christopher Reeves movie coming out and it's only in theaters.
I'm like, I'm not going to watch that.
You will when it comes out of theaters.
It goes in for like one day that it comes out to us.
All right, there's Tuesday, Reviews Day.
Go check out all of our reviews.
We'll put them all up at Bobbybones.com.
News with Amy.
Tell me something good.
So this woman, Ursula Bannister, she scattered her mom's ashes at high rock lookout.
It's a viewpoint near Ashford, Washington.
And every year, she climbs to go visit her mom takes flowers.
Well, normally someone goes with her because Ursula's 79 years old now.
But this last time she went, nobody could go, so she went by herself.
And everything was fine.
She got up to visit her mom, but on her way back down, she tripped, caught her foot, fell in a hole.
It was horrible.
She started...
She's 79.
We're a hike by herself.
Yeah.
Yelling, yelling, yelling.
Thankfully, a stranger became founder called 911,
but they said, hey, yeah, it's probably going to take us about five hours for the search and rescue team to get there.
Luckily, the guy that found her, Troy, he's a 20-year-old guy in the Air Force, and he put her on his back and carried her most of the three-hour trek down.
Three hours.
And then he had a friend with him that carried her the rest of the way.
Yeah.
But, I mean, it's just kind of wild.
Like, right people, right time to help rescue her.
Man, somebody can go with her.
She's 79.
Yeah.
But she's a little stubborn, too.
Yeah, she wanted to go visit her mom.
No, I hear you.
It's a tradition.
Yeah, yeah, somebody should have gone.
She shouldn't have gone by herself.
I don't want to go about myself.
Even me.
I'm not even 79.
You think you can carry her for three hours back?
She's small.
I'm looking at her.
She's a little old lady.
Still.
Carrying anything for three hours back.
Also, a human's awkward because they're all, like, taking you different ways.
but yes, I think I could have.
Okay, so she broke her leg in three places,
like once they got her medical care,
which she was in bad shape.
She had surgery. She's on the road to recovery,
and then Troy, his last name is Troy May,
he's been honored with an Air Force achievement medal
for his amazing act of kindness,
and now they're in touch.
Good for you. Well, yeah, they're very in touch.
No, I mean, since the surgery.
Good for you, Troy. That's awesome. That's what it's all about.
That was tell me something good.
A win is a win.
A win is a win.

Hi, Dad.
And just when I said that,
my mom comes out of the kitchen and she says,
I have some cookies and milk.
This is a badass convict.
Right.
Just finished five years.
I'm going to have cookies and milk at my mom.
Yeah.

It's Financial Literacy Month
And the podcast, Eating While Broke, is bringing real conversations about money, growth, and building your future.
This month, hear from top streamer, Zoe Spencer, and venture capitalist Lakeisha Landrum Pierre,
as they share their journeys from starting out to leveling up.
If I'm outside with my parents and they're seeing all these people come up to me for pictures, it's like, what?
Today now, obviously, it's like 100%.
They believe everything.
But at first, it was just like, you got to go get a real job.
There's an economic component to communities thriving.
If there's not enough money and entrepreneurship happening in communities, they fail.
And what I mean by fail is they don't have money to pay for food.
They cannot feed their kids.
They do not have homes.
Communities don't work unless there's money flowing through them.

We share stories and scientific insights to help us all better navigate these periods of turbulence and transformation.

Here's a voicemail from yesterday.
I had a question for the whole studio.
In regards to lunchbox, he doesn't know how to tell if a man is attractive or not,
but he also thinks of himself as a 10 out of 10.
It's very contradictory, and I would love to hear what the studio has to think.
Thank you. I love you guys.
You go first lunchbox because you cannot tell if one man is better looking than another, according to you.
Yeah, I have no idea.
I just know that I'm really good looking, and women have told me that my whole life,
and they've thrown themselves at me over and over again.
And I look in the mirror, and I'm like, dang, you look good, dude.
10 out of 10.
So it's just a confidence thing more than it is what you actually see.
And data.
From the women, from the women throwing themselves.
Yeah, but it could be in nine.
From research.
You can see data that Brad Pitt's hot data.
Women often talk about him, but you don't see that.
I don't see them talking about him.
It actually does make sense, Bone.
Since he doesn't know, he can't see it, he's just taking their word for it.
No, but he said when he looks in the mirror, he sees it.
I know I'm 10 out of 10.
What does it mean when someone throws himself at you?
I mean, you just walked you in and it's just like, oh, they come flocking.
Okay.
Like a woman will just come up to you, or you're married now.
But you don't wear your ring.
Right.
But like usually when I go to the bars, I mean, it was just like I'd walk in and it was just like,
like stink on poop, man.
Lots of likes.
But what were they drawn to?
Hey, me, I don't know.
Whatever.
Physically how good looking you are.
Yeah, I think so.
They walk in like, man, that's the best looking doing the bar and they come walking up.
Got it.
I don't have an answer for you.
I appreciate that voicemail.
I'm often confused as to where he gets his confidence.
although I'm a little jealous that I don't have it.
Because there's no reason for him to have it, but he has it.
And I'm a little envious of that.
Let's go over and do the Morning Corny.
Here we go.
The Morning Corny.
What did the daddy ghost say to the baby ghosts when they got in the car?
What's that?
Fasten your sheep milk.
That was the Morning Corny.
That's pretty good one.
That's really good.
Halloween theme, too.
This guy is soon.
in his mom because she threw away his comic book collection
is 20
it's probably worth a lot huh
I mean why should you do that?
Yeah when do you sue your mom?
I mean you only sue your mom I guess
in this situation if she did it on purpose
Yeah
Like if she knew yet she still did it
But I mean you're 20
Comic book collection could be substituted
for anything because I think when you're comic book collection
We're like oh
Nerd
I don't I try not to because they have many nerdy things that I like
But let's just say it was
rare coin collection.
M.
Nerd.
That's also nerdy.
Dang, dang, dang.
So she's 64.
She threw away her
20-year-old son's
32-volume
Attack on Titan collection.
Oh, no, not the attack on Titan.
They were living together,
but lunchbox, let's say,
it was worth $100,000.
But she doesn't know that.
Clean the room, and she just threw it.
She sees magazines.
She threw it away.
Suing her? Get out of your
loser. Get out of your mom's house.
So that would be if you were the judge.
I sentence you to moving out of your mom's house.
Get out of the basement.
Yeah, that's tough to see your mom though, right?
Just in general.
Dang.
Simple joys in life.
They listed the top 10.
If I say simple joy in life, the most simple thing that gives you joy.
Amy go.
Oh, like a good cup of coffee in the morning.
Number three is a cup of coffee.
That's simple.
Yeah.
Although, when I order, if I order, I get the same delivery driver and she's terrible.
Same one still?
Still?
and she spells her name a little weird
and it pops up and I know it's her
and so I'll try to cancel it and I can't
That's weird man
I know she canceled on me though last time
Because I gave her a bad review
And I felt bad about it
But I gave her a bad review
And she saw me and canceled it
You guys are feuding?
We're like yeah
We're battling it out
But she knows where I live
That's not good
I'd stop that
I know right away
Lunchbox simple joy
Grown up time
Okay
Is that simple?
Is that simple?
Yeah, that's simple
Okay
Eddie
Canfire
Go ahead
Or just sitting in the backyard of the campfire.
Simple, but it's nature.
Beautiful.
I would say getting a full night's sleep.
Oh, yeah.
That's pretty simple.
I get that about once a month.
And when I get it, I'm so happy.
I'm like, wow, that's amazing because I have every little graph.
And, you know, my sleep number tells me how long I sleep.
Other ones are watching your favorite show, hearing your favorite song on the radio,
freshly baked cookies.
Oh, that's the best.
having someone tell you they were thinking about you.
Although my problem with that is when someone texts me goes,
hey, just want to send you a text, just thinking about you.
I don't know how to respond to that.
But you don't have to respond.
Yes, you do.
Because they want some sort of response.
It's not to be left open.
What do you say?
And why are they really texting me this?
This is not true because I've been trying to do this lately.
As soon as I think of someone, I text them and be like, hey, man, just thinking about you.
Hope you're doing well.
If they don't respond at all, you're going to be like, well, that's weird.
I never heard back from this person.
But why can you say, hey, yeah, doing good.
How are you?
I don't know.
It just feels, I don't like those.
It feels weird?
I don't send them because I feel like it's bothering people and they think I'm setting them up to ask for something.
Just do a little heart.
Send a little.
No, no, no, don't send a heart.
That's even worse.
Don't heart it.
You need more than that.
Oh, you say hard at like if they ride it, just do the hard.
Just do a little heart thing.
I don't, mm-mm.
I never know how to respond to those.
As someone that sends it, I don't need anything back.
Just thinking about you, man.
That's it.
What's the perfect response?
Love that.
See, there's not even one that you want.
But have you never been like, oh, I've been thinking of them too?
No, but what if I didn't?
What if Eddie texts me?
Let's say we had to see each other for six months.
There we go.
And Eddie texts me, hey, man, just thinking about you.
But I haven't been thinking about him?
Okay.
Do I just lie and go like, I've been thinking about you too, buddy?
No, hey man.
Exactly, it's weird.
No, it's not weird.
What are you to say?
Great to hear from you.
Everything's good over here.
Hope all is good on your end.
Hey, what if you're super honest?
I mean, like, that's cool.
I haven't been thinking about you.
I haven't thought about you once, actually.
Dang, I'm glad you message.
I have not been thinking about you and it reminds me I should.
Yeah, I don't know how to do those, how to respond to those, so I don't send them out either.
You get those a lot?
Sometimes, but I always feel like it's people about to ask for tickets for something or money or something.
Hey, you've been thinking about you and it's about to be followed by.
By the way, when you play my song or something like that.
That makes sense.
What?
You have some baggage that has come along with that text in the past.
So you're weary of it.
Yeah, very.
That makes sense.
Yeah.
That and when people are like, hey, man.
We should go get a beer.
And I'm like, oh, you're an artist.
And I don't drink beer.
So obviously, you don't know me.
So you're about to ask for something.
That's not good.
That's something.
So I don't get many beers for folks anymore.
All right, is lunchbox a Karen or is lunchbox not a Karen?
This is the latest story.
Go ahead.
So it's getting on a flight.
And we're standing on that jet bridge, like the hallway down to the plane.
And everybody's just standing there and it's taking forever for people to get on.
And some guy, like, three in front of me, pulls out his vape.
And he takes four vaties.
vapors.
Vapers.
You don't have to do all four.
We got sh-
like puffs or something.
Puffs, whatever.
But then, you know, the little smoke goes in the air.
And I'm like, dude, ain't supposed to be doing that on an airplane.
But he's not on the airplane yet.
Right.
Jetway kind of guy.
But you're not supposed to vape in the airport.
And maybe he doesn't travel often.
So I don't know.
So when I got on the plane, I just told the flight attendant.
I was like, hey, just so you know, that guy was vaping on the jet bridge out there.
I don't know if he's aware of the rules.
I agree. I don't want some of my vaping, but I'm also not going to tell on somebody.
No, no, I wasn't telling.
What do you think you did?
No, no, I was letting her know so she could tell him that he's not allowed to vape mid-flight.
That's telling.
You were telling her so she could tell him.
Because I didn't want him to get in trouble.
I didn't want him to get like.
Oh, you were looking out for him.
Why didn't you say it to him?
Well, he was like three or four in front of me, so I couldn't.
He couldn't hear you three human links ahead?
So he was vaping.
You see him.
You go to the flight attendant.
Tell us exactly what you said.
do not, don't give us lunchboxes.
No, I, I, I, don't give us new version.
There's no new version.
I said, oh, just a heads up, that guy right there.
With that voice?
Yeah.
And I pointed, I said, in the red shirt,
he was vaping on the Jet Bridge.
Maybe he doesn't know the rules about not vaping.
I just wanted to give you guys a heads up.
Maybe you can.
I think if you've vaped on the plane and there was smoke in your face,
you would have a right to go, ding, hey, this dude's vaping.
I think you're just a bit of a tattletail right there.
No, I wouldn't, I wasn't trying to be a tattletail.
That's what I'm saying.
I was trying to protect.
him because maybe it was his first time flying.
He was nervous, so he's hitting that babe, like, hard.
It makes no sense.
If he's trying to protect him, he would tell him, hey, bud, I don't know if you know this or
now, but you can't vape in the airport.
And you should also go like, that's bad for your lungs.
That too.
And did you know that caused a lot of things.
Did you see that recent article where this woman had to get, like, tar pumped out
of her lungs?
I didn't.
From the babe.
Yeah, send him that.
Air drop it.
Yeah.
Yeah, you're kind of a loser.
Yeah.
No, no, that wasn't the question.
What was the question?
Karen.
Karen or not Karen.
Sorry, you're kind of a loser.
We're going to stick with a loser.
Yeah, I mean, I'm not going to do it.
I don't think it's a Karen thing.
I mean, but I'm not going to do it.
Is he a tattletel, though?
He definitely tattled.
Eddie.
He's a loser.
Loser.
We don't side with you on this one, even though you were looking out for him.
Yeah, I was trying to have his back.
Right.
Good guy, lunchbox.
And that is the end of the first half of the podcast.
A win is a win.
A win is a win.
I don't care what I'll say it.
