And for more, follow Timbo Slica Life 12 and TikTok podcast network on TikTok. In 2023, Bachelor star Clayton Eckerd was accused of fathering twins. But the pregnancy appeared to be a hoax.
Starting point is 00:02:04 You doctored this particular test twice, Ms. Owens, correct? I doctored the test once. It took an army of internet detectives to uncover a disturbing pattern. Two more men who'd been through the same thing. Greg, a lesbian. Michael Ranjini. My mind was blown.
Starting point is 00:02:20 I'm Stephanie Young. This is love trapped. Laura, Scottsdale police. As the season continues, Laura Owens finally faces consequences. Listen to Love Trapped podcast on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. When a group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist, they take matters into their own hands. I vowed, I will be his last target. He is not going to get away with this.
Starting point is 00:02:49 He's going to get what he deserves. We always say that trust your girlfriends. Listen to the girlfriends. Trust me, babe, on the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. I got you. And the morning, you turn the radio on and the dial just keeps on turn. Didn't get here. Eddie and me lunchbox, more game two.
Starting point is 00:03:21 Steve Reddavits trying to put you through. Black Dies writing this week's next bit. Now Bobby's on the mic so you know what this is. This is the Bobby Vaughn's. I've had my brief yoga periods where I have no flexibility. I'm going to tell you about a weird, weird kind of yoga. But I have no flexibility, so I would go do yoga. And it would help a little bit.
Starting point is 00:03:46 But then I would just be like, I don't want to go at 6 o'clock at night when it's so close to my bedtime. So I'd stop going to yoga. Then there's kind of the yogas where did you ever do go yoga? Oh, yeah. Well, they had like goats running around. And I feel like... They would get on your back. That's just like a distraction.
Starting point is 00:04:01 Yeah. It doesn't really help anything, but it's like a distraction. But it's fun. It's goofy, right? Joy. Yeah. Yeah. And isn't joy.
Starting point is 00:04:06 just a distraction, guys. But here's one. In Lunchbox, you have no flexibility like myself. None whatsoever. Have you tried yoga? It kills me. Yes, I've gone with him before. How to go? He's like a secret yoga guy. Oh, he is? Oh, yeah. He loves yoga? Oh, yeah. I'm not secret yoga guy. No, because he would be very
Starting point is 00:04:24 good. Oh, he would? I thought he had no flexibility. This is like over years and years. I call this the super petri dish. That's his elbow behind his head. No, he is, he's awkward, but he knows every move. My point is, he's like, good. knows like when the teacher says something he's like on it. And here is something for lunchbox. It's called snake yoga. No, what in the world?
Starting point is 00:04:42 Oh my God. The guy hates snakes. No. Why would you eat? But apparently loves yoga, so. Snaim yoga is a 45-minute class where ball pythons are incorporated into the practice. No. Six snakes.
Starting point is 00:04:55 Oh, gosh. Are paired with the participants who randomly draw a crystal to find their yoga partner. The instructor assures everyone that the snakes movements are harmless. No one has ever been bitten. The cost for this unusual experience. is $160. Yikes. The instructor says if you feel any squeezing,
Starting point is 00:05:11 it's just her trying to not fall, the snake. She's not trying to attack. Yes. Don't they squeeze, though, to kill? Yes. They squeeze to suffocate. Yes, I'd be worried. Lunchbox.
Starting point is 00:05:23 How much for you to do snake yoga? And don't say no price or a million dollars, because there would be a number. Realistically. Oh, my gosh. That would be so, I mean, at least 10,000. It would take $10,000 to go hold a snake for 45 minutes.
Starting point is 00:05:42 Dude, you brought that snake in the studio and I ran out there. I mean, I can't, like, it's something about them. It paralyzes me. So I do not know. Once it started crawling towards me, I would freak out. And if there's eight of them suckers slithering around, big old. Well, they're on different people, right? So it's not just.
Starting point is 00:05:58 Okay, but yeah, but they just stay on that person. Yeah, they do. They do. That's their partner, though. You know it is. It's their partner the whole time. So not everybody gets a snake. It's a random drawing.
Starting point is 00:06:05 Would you want to be in the class of the person next to you on Snake? No, because the whole time I'd be looking at it going, ah, it's looking at me, it's looking at me, no, uh-uh. Would you do it for $1,000? No. You, what? No. I don't think I could.
Starting point is 00:06:21 I think for $1,000. You could do anything for money. I know I could do any, that's what I'm saying, though, but the mental block, I mean. So just block yourself mentally, you'll just be there, frozen. You love yoga? Right. No, no, no, no. Amy Panning in a bad picture.
Starting point is 00:06:34 No, I didn't. No, I did it. It's accurate. All right, here we go. Let's go to Amy now and get in the morning corny. The morning corny. Why don't mummies take time off? Why don't mummies take time off? They're just afraid to unwind. That was the morning corny.
Starting point is 00:06:58 Get it. Yeah. I don't think anybody didn't get it. I think we got it. That's all right. I made a list of careers that I would not do even if it was for double to pay. Right? Number one is a mortician.
Starting point is 00:07:16 Oh, yeah. Like I could not do it. It's not that I'm too good for any of these careers. I just don't think I could do it. And I'm going to ask you guys yours in a second. But mortician or funeral home. It's not even the only the dead bodies. It's also the sad people.
Starting point is 00:07:30 Like I just, when people are sad, it makes me sad. So that would be number one. Even if it were double the pay, I don't think my quality of life would be good if every day I was doing that all day than coming home. And it had a little more money, you know? That's number one. Number two, a bodyguard. Because I would just, okay, you get to carry. Somebody comes up, kick it out, boom.
Starting point is 00:07:53 Shoot somebody immediately. For no reason. Wait, you're saying if you would abuse your power? Well, I would just be scared. I was going to lose my job and be bad. I'd just shoot somebody. Okay. I would be terrible.
Starting point is 00:08:02 I would like duck. Oh, okay, you do the opposite, but both would be terrible. Yeah, mine is like, I think, Secret Service. I would, I could never do that because I would be like, I'm... At least Secret Service, you have a little bit of, like, if you do something kind of wrong, they're going to cover for you. I know, but I just feel like you have to... There's such a threat all the time.
Starting point is 00:08:20 It's got to be exhausting. And then you know, like, I have to save this person's life. And what if one day you're just like, I'm just really not feeling it today. That's a good one too, yeah. Like me, it's like, okay, Bobby, today you're protecting Selena Gomez. And some 12-year-old, like, can I get your... Boom, I just shot her out. Oh, no.
Starting point is 00:08:36 So there's a soccer player named Lionel Messi, and as he plays, he has a bodyguard that runs up and down with him. So he's not on the actual field, but he runs up and down, wherever Messi is, he's running with him the whole time. That's crazy. Because people, like, come onto the field.
Starting point is 00:08:51 And if somebody comes on the field, that bodyguard is so dialed in, he runs out and cuts him off or tackles him. And there have been times where it's been kids, and he will run out and stop the kid. And even Messi's been like, it's okay. No, hold on.
Starting point is 00:09:02 but he runs the entire time. Like I could probably do the running part. I just want to cue somebody else to go in. I'd be terrible at that. Number three, a crab fisherman or any like deep sea fishermen. Not because it would be interesting. I would just be seasick the whole time. I would be motion sick every second of my life.
Starting point is 00:09:23 And it's also very dangerous, but the danger to me, although doesn't seem like something I'd like to do, the danger is nothing compared to me just, and vomit all the time, being nauseous, 16 hours a day. But also, I did an episode of Breaking Bobby Bones, which you can see now on Amazon Prime, if you go and search for it. And I did it outside of San Francisco. We were like three miles off the coast in a fishing boat.
Starting point is 00:09:48 And he lived on his boat. It wasn't a big boat, but he lived on his boat. Oh, really? So when I say 16 hours, it's 72 for him before he comes back in and brings his fish in before he sells it at the market. He was doing halibut. He was doing halibut. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:02 Which wasn't as dangerous, but we were catching like stingrays. And then you would see seals jump into the net and eat the halibut. It was awesome. But I could only look for like 10 seconds. Then I had to lay back down. And they would say, look at the horizon. I look at the horizon, but I want to vomit. The only way that I could even, and I vomited all through the episode.
Starting point is 00:10:21 But the only way that I could even get 30 to 45 seconds of good time was to lay on my back and stare at the sky. And they'd be like, okay, Bobby, you got to give it a run. Okay. Look at this. Ugh. Every time. I'm going to ask you guys in a second. Those are my top three.
Starting point is 00:10:38 Mortician, bodyguard, and like deep sea fishermen, like crab fishermen. Sounds like fun, man. That does? It does. Being on the boat out there sounds awesome. Man, if you can't keep your cereal down, nothing is fun. I thought of another, a window cleaner, like a skyscraper window cleaner. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:57 There's no chance. I hate heights so much. So even for double the pay, heck, triple the pay. Amy, job you could not do. Gosh, I wish I could. I really wish I could, but I think because of heights and just fear an astronaut. Good one. I don't, let's say my phone rang right now.
Starting point is 00:11:15 Hello? Hey, it's Jeff Bezos. Want to go to space on my rocket? Hang up. Right. You guys don't want to go to space? I do, but I don't. No.
Starting point is 00:11:22 I do, but I just don't think I could follow it through. Wow. I hate high. Astronaut makes my window cleaner look like a little beepie, boo-boo. But is it heights? If you're really in space and you don't even know what's up, what's down. Yeah, you're all the way up. You know what's going on.
Starting point is 00:11:33 That's as high as you can go. No way. Good one. I would never want to be an astronaut. I would do all the astronaut stuff on the ground. No, I wouldn't either. I saw Lance Vash training for that crap and they were like swinging them around the thing. I'll be vomiting everywhere.
Starting point is 00:11:45 I'll be vomiting everywhere. My heights and motion sickness, worst job. Lunchbox. Man, I'm mortician one's good, but I'll say teacher. Even for half a million dollars a year. That's different. That's different. I said double the pay. I know, I know. I was thinking a teacher salary already is not that much, so you double it.
Starting point is 00:12:03 No, it's your, double what you pay. Oh, I was thinking double the pay of like one person gets. Oh, okay. So let's say a teacher makes a good college professor. Let's say you're making $150,000 a year. I know, that's different. So that's $300,000? No, no, no, no. Okay, yeah. Double it. Double it. I mean, that's not. I don't think a college person makes $150, though. I was kind of using that as a double. But also, college professor, that seems awesome. I feel like being a junior. your high high school, elementary school teacher, that's where it's rough. What's the worst to you? What came to your mind?
Starting point is 00:12:34 I was thinking like middle school. Yeah. That sounds terrible. Yeah. Or, I mean, even elementary school because they're still peeing their pants sometimes. It's like, oh, come on. And maybe like. No, not all the time.
Starting point is 00:12:46 But they have accidents and, I mean, they got snuck coming out their nose. I mean, it is gross up in there. So a teacher was one of your first two or three that you can't be mine. Yeah. And, hey, the death stuff, the mortician. Like, ugh. Or just working at a. cemetery, you don't have to be the person that digs the grave spot.
Starting point is 00:13:02 What's wrong with that? Oh, I don't mind that so much. You're kidding me. That's just digging dirt. Yeah. You know you're digging and put someone in there. And they already did. And I think part of the mortician or funeral home director job, it's not just the dead bodies because that's, that's weird, but it's a sadness all the time. And when you're digging, I had a lot of digging jobs. So do you worry about those people? Like, I see those people. I'm like, there's something weird about that. What people? They're working the death, the mortician things. I often feel like it's in your family
Starting point is 00:13:31 Or I think they're just not bothered by it And they're like wow, it's like people who are proctologists Aren't you like wow Why do that person choose a butthole to be a butthole doctor And you're like there probably was a demand for that And it pays well And they're not weirded out by it I asked one one time
Starting point is 00:13:47 He said I'm just fascinated with gastroontology Oh yeah Well if someone said I'm just fascinated with dead people I would think that was weird And a mortician is that the one that does the morgue thing where you're down there and you take apart the body. A mortician would be the person at the funeral home that is preparing for the funeral. Oh, like puts makeup on them and stuff?
Starting point is 00:14:07 Yes. Yes. Get some dress. I'm not doing the morgue person either. Yeah. Well, we're not asking you to. Or a crime scene person that has to go pick up the, that you just transport dead bodies. Forensics.
Starting point is 00:14:16 Yeah, but I would think there's so much more than just the dead body part that might actually be kind of cool. The dead body part would just be a sliver of it. But now I hear you. I agree with everything you're saying. People that deal with dead bodies, they look like they're not well. That's what I mean. I think you just mean people in funeral homes. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:33 And the people have police crimes. Yeah, the crime scenes. They don't look good. I think those are like detectives. I've even had normal funeral home experiences. I don't know. Because I go in, I'm all sad. My mom died.
Starting point is 00:14:47 They're like, get this $10,000 earn. No, no. I'm like, okay. I have three of them. They get you. Eddie? Mine, I love them. We need them.
Starting point is 00:14:55 but a nurse. I can't be a nurse. Great, me either. And I love them, respect them. Same. The needles. Blood. 12-hour shifts. Like, room to room, the heartache you have to deal with. Underpaid. That's a good one. Sometimes you know more than the doctor, but you don't get the respect.
Starting point is 00:15:12 Here we go, Amy. Sometimes the doctor's like, I'll leave my wife for you and he doesn't. Oh. What? Great anatomy. Never mind. Never mind. How much of your money did your dog eat? Well, $100 bill and a $5 bill.
Starting point is 00:15:26 Oh, no. So I had sold something on Facebook Marketplace, and they had just come by and given me the cash. So I walked in, put it on the coffee table, and then walked away. Why did the dog eat the money? Like, money doesn't smell good or taste good. It wasn't barbecue sauce. It's not just why did the dog eat the money. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:47 There was a $100 bill, a $5 bill, and a bunch of ones. and it looks like I'm looking and the $100 bill is like the one that's eaten. I mean, ate a little bit of the five, but the $100 is destroyed. And so I'm like, why have all of these options here? Why didn't he, she destroyed the $1 bill? So are you going to take them back to the bank?
Starting point is 00:16:06 Well, I have most of the $100 bill. They'll give you $100 bill. You think it's still, she definitely swallowed a corner of it. That's fine. You really only need. It's ripped in half. 60% of the bill. Really?
Starting point is 00:16:20 And it doesn't even have to be together. They just want to make sure they can give you another one. They want to make sure, though, that somebody can't turn one into two. Meaning if you give two 50%, and they're like, we'll take 50%. How do you know this? I don't know. From the streets, man. Okay.
Starting point is 00:16:37 Because I was fully expecting that they're going to be like, yeah, I don't know, but I thought I was going to give it a go. It can't hurt because it's obviously an unused, legit $100 bill. So even if you were to take in two 30%, they went together, that made $16,000. they would give you a new bill. It just needs to be more than half with the number on it to make sure that people don't game the system and take 250s in to 50% of a $100 bill to get $200.
Starting point is 00:17:04 Question. Yeah. So you had to wait for her to... No, no, no, she ripped it up. No, she ripped, like she just was in the... Oh. Like, I left the room for a minute and walked back and saw her playing on the floor with stuff.
Starting point is 00:17:15 And I'm like, what are you playing with? And I go over and I'm like, cool, $100 bill. A bank can replace a damage bill of more than half of the no, is identifiable as United States currency. Okay, it is. If less than half of the note is intact, you can send it to the Department of Treasury for examination. Sounds like what I do with baseball cards. You send it off and hope you get a 10 back.
Starting point is 00:17:33 So, yeah, you could probably take it to the bank. What did you sell? Well, that's good to know. On Facebook Marketplace. Some doors. Huh? Some doors that were at my house. Like these doors, they were in the garage and I was like, I'm going to throw these up there and see if I can sell them.
Starting point is 00:17:46 Did they come to your house to get them? Yep. Dangerous. What do you mean? Do you just let people come to your house? It is, it is, but you have to know how to handle it. You don't know how to handle it? Yes, I do. I have a system.
Starting point is 00:17:58 You think you're okay if somebody comes over and decides they don't want you to be okay anymore? I have a, I have, I have, I have, I have a system. She has her kids handle it. I get it. You know, what's they're talking about? Once, Amy went all the way in somebody's house to get something off a computer. She bought, like, some miles from Southwest Airlines. And she went all the way into the guys, like, back bedroom.
Starting point is 00:18:17 Where his office was. To get the miles off his computer? Yeah, so she got, like, Download. You were like, you were almost murder. Okay, we had no, remember how young we were? We had no money. And I was trying to fly to see my boyfriend at time.
Starting point is 00:18:30 I think I was trying to go see Air Force guy, or maybe we were married at the point at that time. But I... You had to be married because you got married in like a day. True. Yeah. So I was probably trying to fly to see him because he was in America because he spent a lot of time in Afghanistan. So anyway, I wanted to go see him. And I was like, okay, this guy was selling these Southwest points on Craigslist.
Starting point is 00:18:50 And he was going to throw in a murder. if you liked to person. So it was a way to get a cheap flight. Be careful. Just be careful. Selling stuff on Facebook. Having people come to your house to buy doors. But you can take your bill in.
Starting point is 00:19:01 It was doors. And I got, I feel like that was the easiest money. It's always easy money until you get murdered, right, everybody? Yep. A little saying, George Washington used to say that. It's always easy money until you get murdered. All right. Well, I'll keep you posted.
Starting point is 00:19:12 Take your dollars in. You'll get your money back. A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care what you're saying. Yep, that's me. Clifford Taylor the 4th. I'm working my way up through, and I know it's a place that come look for up and coming talent.
Starting point is 00:21:46 He said, if it was based solely on talent, I wouldn't worry about you, which is really sweet. Yeah. He goes, but there's so much luck involved. And he's like, just give it a shot. He goes, but if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall, wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit. Starting point is 00:23:05 In 2023, former bachelor star Clayton Eckerd found himself at the center of a paternity scandal. The family court hearings that followed revealed glaring inconsistencies in her story. This began a years-long court battle to prove the truth. You doctored this particular test twice, Ms. Sond's, correct? I doctored the test ones. It took an army of internet detectives to crack the case. I wanted people to be able to see what their tax dollars were being used for. Sunlight's the greatest disinfected.
Starting point is 00:23:35 They would uncover a disturbing pattern. Two more men who'd been through the same thing. Greg Alespian and Michael Marantini. My mind was blown. I'm Stephanie Young. Starting point is 00:24:22 I got some skeletons, but my son said they freak him out, so. I thought you were going to say you have some skeleton in your closet that you'd like to reveal them. No. I got some really cool one. I was gonna like that one. No. Yeah, we're not. Nobody really decorates for Halloween in my neighborhood. Christmas,
Starting point is 00:24:35 everybody goes pretty hard. We only go mild, but they go pretty hard. But this lady, it looked like there was a real, like, graveyard? Yeah, like lots of tombstones and they look pretty real. Although there's a body hanging from a tree in a trash bag. That's when it gets tricky. But then if there's other decor, then you know. There's not a graveyard in somebody's yard. But are they hiding in plain sight? That would be crazy. That's like a podcast type stuff. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:03 But yeah, it feels to me looking at it with the bodies hanging out of the tree and they're upside down and they're in trash bags and they're duct taped like in three places. It's still Halloween decorations. I know. I just think of even the skeletons disturbing my son. It just freaks them out. Like I could see how kids probably are really disturbed by that. So that's probably why she was asked to take them down.
Starting point is 00:25:23 It's from Metro. And so she says the decorations will be displayed in her garage because she said to take them down. Oh. But a bunch of losers that live there. Yeah. Georgia cop stumbles upon a massive drug stash during the hurricane cleanup. You know somebody, Amy, who had all those drugs when they had to leave because the hurricane, they were like, please got to let her drugs get out. Oh, no.
Starting point is 00:25:42 They were doing cleanup work, and they found a big, like, container of drugs, vacuum, sealed weed, THC babe cartridges, edibles, cough syrup, a bunch of pills. And they were like, hey, whomever's, you come pick it up if you want. Like they posted that. Someone showed up. No, they didn't go full bonehead. But somebody has to be like, dang, that was our stuff. It's all gone. And also, if you have to evacuate, don't you take that with you?
Starting point is 00:26:09 Or at least, like, some of it? I guess, I mean. Well, it's probably important to you. I'm not even saying, like, hide from the cops. I mean, that's probably your deal. That's your livelihood. Yeah, maybe. Frontier Airlines passenger rants.
Starting point is 00:26:21 She's the president after the pilot wouldn't turn back for her forgotten phone. Oh, my. Who thinks their phone is so valuable? that the plane will turn around and go get it. Like the president of what? So Wild Video shows a frontier airline's passenger claiming to be a sovereign ruler and president of this whole GD country in a meltdown over the pilot refusing to turn back to let her get her phone from the airport.
Starting point is 00:26:44 The unidentified female passenger erupted into the expletive-laden tirade as the flight was getting ready to take off from San Diego going to Vegas. She's already ready to go to Vegas. She's already vagusing up a little bit, obviously. The fellow passenger who filmed the saga claimed the woman went crazy. So they weren't in the air, but still, even if they pull that little bridge, little walkway, once that's pulled back and that door is shut, nobody's getting out of there. You think a pilot's going to go, oh, she forgot her cell phone.
Starting point is 00:27:12 Oh, she's president. Let's stop the plane. That's from the New York Post. A hot air balloon hits a power line. It catches fire at a New Mexico festival. A drone show and it is showing the drones and it's showing the hot air balloon. flying over, then all of a sudden, it's a power line.
Starting point is 00:27:30 Big flames. Dang. Scary. A balloon pilot with two passengers hit a radio tower. It was the second time of 20 years that a balloon had come into contact with that. Wow. That's on the pilot, right?
Starting point is 00:27:43 You can steer a hot air balloon? You can with weight. Yes. You pull, I've flown in one. You can't steer at like a car with steering wheel. You manipulate with the rope. Yeah, the air, you know, up, down. Yeah. So if you do less air, you go left, more air you go right up.
Starting point is 00:27:59 I'm not sure about that. The wind blows it. No, and they put weight like on the basket. So like if they want to go left, they put all the weight on the left side and then the balloon goes left. But when they want to lower it, they do the air. Right. Somehow they landed us right in the field. I hated every minute of it. That seems very nerve-wracking. But I mean, I feel like if you are the pilot and you hit a radio tower that's probably for even going up maybe, if you can't control the wind for knowing that. the wind. Yeah, that sucks. One person suffered a head injury. I guess that's a different one. They're two balloon. I'm out. That balloon thing is stupid. You're going to get in a basket.
Starting point is 00:28:38 We don't need to be in baskets as humans. You're in a basket and there's no engine. It's like I like a sailboat, but I don't like to sail. But I like a cellboat with an engine on it, like a motor. Because then if the wind doesn't work right, you hit your motor. They should have these for hot air balloons. And this crap wouldn't be happening. It is cool, though. I like to think that that was created and you go up there and enjoy it and it's so pretty like those hot air blowing festivals it looks so beautiful yeah you know it's cool google image i like that yeah you got but you're the mercy of the wind that's all it is the wind takes you wherever good doomsday news the world may be ending but it will not come from an asteroid strike that's good a new study explains with 99% certainty astronomers found
Starting point is 00:29:13 that the doomsday theory of the asteroid striking is highly unlikely because there are fewer dangerous large asteroids near earth than previously believed that's always a story until it happens the one but once it happens if if that happens if that happens if that happens and we're out, we're out. We're not even going to know. Yeah, but I don't want to know. Oh, we'll know. Because they'll see it coming. They don't move so fast that they're just like, whack.
Starting point is 00:29:34 No. Yeah, we'll know. I don't want to know. Like, don't tell me. I just want to be like, hey, what's that shade all about? That's like when the sun moves behind a cloud. You're like, man, I'm sure it's shady today. Wack, that would be it.
Starting point is 00:29:47 And finally, Drew Parker is on the Bobbycast this week. He has this song called Love the Levin. About writing this song and three other major artists wanted it for themselves. And he was like, I think I'm going to keep it. He talked about having to call one of those artists. My record was done. No room for any more songs. I wrote Love Leaving.
Starting point is 00:30:09 My record's done. So as a songwriter, I'd start pitching around. It goes on hold within like two hours with three different artists. Nate Smith, Luke Holmes, and Morgan Wallam. Oh, my God. That was my reaction. I texted Luke, and I was like, hey, man, I know you love this song, and I would love for you to record it. And I think you would make it a mega hit.
Starting point is 00:30:27 Do you think I'd be crazy for me record it? like, dude, I don't know why the heck you weren't going to record it to begin with. He gave up free money, basically betting on himself. Because if either one of those three guys cut it, that's money. Yeah. Because all those three guys do is put-eye hits. He talked about his job because he was an X-ray technician before doing music full-time. He was working at the hospital.
Starting point is 00:30:48 And he made a deal with his boss about working one last shift after he landed his first number one as a songwriter. I made a deal with the boss at the hospital that if I ever got a number one song, that I would come work one more shift and then I'd be done. March 22nd of 2020. I got my first number one homemade by Jake Owen. So that day, Monday, I'm getting ready to go work my last shift to hospital. I'm in my bedroom putting scrubs on. My wife walks in the bedroom and tells me that she is going into labor.
Starting point is 00:31:16 So I had to call my boss and say, actually, I am on my way to the hospital, but it's not to work. The boss met me at my car, helped me and my wife get into the hospital. And I still owe her technically that last shift. But as this song was climbing the charts, he was still working at the hospital as an x-ray technician. Wow. That crazy. Drew Parker, check it out on the latest Bobbycast. Go search for the Bobbycast wherever you podcast.
Starting point is 00:31:38 All right, cool. We're going to keep you from falling for scams. Scam alert. Here's one. And I think I might have fallen for this one if it would have just got to me. But this couple is wanted by police for scamming people because they claim they had a time machine. Now, for me, we're out of falling for it as I would have wanted to go back. to like see 1969 or maybe like the late 1800s.
Starting point is 00:32:02 That'd have been cool. But what they were doing is they were promising to make people look younger. Oh, that kind of time machine. Yeah, like that, I'm like, I'll pass. But can you take me to 1969? A lot of cool stuff happened in that year. But yeah, they pulled off one of the most incredible scams in the history of mankind. They owned a therapy center.
Starting point is 00:32:21 They allegedly convinced people they were aging rapidly. The people that would come in, they'd be like, you're aging. rapidly because of the polluted air and because of this time machine with oxygen therapy, we can actually make you look younger again. They made $4 million. Wow. They made $4 million on this. I mean, is there any? Validity?
Starting point is 00:32:42 No, I don't think of any at all? He's like, wait a minute. Extra oxygen. They offered packages of 10 sessions for $72 and $1,070 up front. So they got you hard on that $1,000 up front and then $72. a session, which if you pay the thousand, the 72 doesn't feel crazy. You're like, yeah. But yeah, no, they promise them a time machine. Don't believe in time machines, especially if they want you to pay. It's free. Maybe you take a chance.
Starting point is 00:33:10 Okay, yeah. You know? Scam alert. That's number one. Scam alert. Yesterday, one of my friends, a very accomplished television radio personality. He was on VH1, MTV back in the day, he's done radio, all these high-level places. Like, I really looked up to him and still do. I still see him and I'm like, what's up, dude? He messaged me. He says, hey, B, B, B, hope you're well. I got an email invited to do your podcast, which was odd as they wanted to know where to send payment for doing the show. I was like, ain't nobody going to pay me to do Bobby's podcast. Here's the email it came from. And he was basically asking if it's true. I get this all the time from my friends. I'm not offering anybody money. I've never paid
Starting point is 00:33:49 a single person to come on a podcast. Don't fall for it. Wow. It's a scam alert. Scam alert. I'm not paying anybody to be on the podcast. Scam alert. And that's somebody who's like, for real. Yeah. Like who gets asked to do stuff. Yeah, that's crazy. Do you have one?
Starting point is 00:34:07 I do. I got an email from Venmo and it said that somebody is signing in your Venmo from another device. So I click on the email. I'm like, okay, well, let me look into it. But you clicked into your email. Just the email. No link they sent. No.
Starting point is 00:34:21 Okay. And they said, you know, if it wasn't you, there's nothing to worry about. But if it was you, click on this article to find out. what you need to be doing. So I'm like, why would I click on... That may not be a scam. Well, why would I click on an article? Hold on.
Starting point is 00:34:34 Let me hear it. You're probably right, but they're saying if it wasn't you... Nothing to do here. But did they say where it was logging in from specifically? No. Oh, okay, that's a scam then. I thought they said, because sometimes my Apple will show up, be like someone's... This address.
Starting point is 00:34:48 Logging in from this town. And I'm like, oh, I'm actually in this town. So that's me. I need to do nothing. Right. Oh, that's for sure a scam alert. But it is from Venmo at Venmo. Is that really a real?
Starting point is 00:34:57 No, there's no. way it's from Venmo.com. Okay. There's no way it's at Venmo.com. Okay. So I'm smart then. I didn't click on anything. But you just said it was from Venmo. It's saying it's got to be like Venmo. You just said it's from Venmo.com. There's no way it's from Venmo. It says Venmo at Venmo. What about it? Is it say Venmoo? No. Lunchbox. Look at the address. Here. That might be legit. If it's from that, if you go into it. That might be real. Yeah. Yeah. It says Vindmo. That's real.
Starting point is 00:35:29 Can't you just put a check mark on there on anything? Like can't you just put a picture? Morgan, is that real? Because you always go and click into the email it's sent from. And if it's from some weird email address or a hotmail or something, it's not real. And it's spelled correctly. It's also because it's just alerting you to a sign in.
Starting point is 00:35:46 They're not asking you to do anything. They're just saying, hey, like, if you did have a sign in, you need to go change your password. Like if you weren't the one signing in, it's just an alert email. So do I click the article? I don't know you confuse me on what's happening right now I don't know what to do Did you sign into your Venmo to make that come to you No
Starting point is 00:36:03 Okay then you need to go change your password on your Venmo account Someone's trying your actual account So I'm really getting hacked Unless we're leading you to get scam but I feel No I don't think so I would go change your password Okay so not a scam alert No it is a way because he's getting
Starting point is 00:36:18 People someone's trying to hack him Right did you log in on like your iPad No no no I've not logged into my Venmo anywhere else Has your Venmo lost money recently because somebody took it out? Not that I've noticed. But do you look at it? Yes. You also don't look at group text, so I don't believe you look at it.
Starting point is 00:36:33 That is true. That isn't like 10 group texts and he never responds to one of them. Because they're never pretending. They're never talking to me. It's for the group. That's why it's a group text. I'm like, that's not important. Bobby, you go read all the texts from all the people?
Starting point is 00:36:45 Yeah, because they're sports and gambling texts. All right. They certainly can't be too long. It depends how much money we're talking here. Okay. Yeah. Today's Scamiller, sponsored by LifeLock. If something happens and someone gets in your stuff,
Starting point is 00:36:58 like possibly what's happened to Eddie? LifeLock is going to be awesome for you. October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month. Starting point is 00:37:31 Is this real or scam? Yeah, okay. Oh, you hover over it for verification. This is so complicated, man. Hover. That's what you do in the public restrooms, Amy? That is. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:37:45 Yeah, it's complicated, but that's why we try to help with scam alert. A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care which I'm saying. Yep, that's me. Cliver Taylor the 4th. You might have seen the skits,

Starting point is 00:39:22 I felt like I got hit by a truck. I thought, how could this happen to me? The cops didn't seem to care, so they take matters into their own hands. I said, oh, hell no. I vowed I will be his last target. He's going to get what he deserves. Listen to the girlfriends. Trust me, babe.

My next guest, you know from Step Brothers Anchorman, Saturday Night Live and the Big Money Players Network. It's Will Ferrell. My dad gave me the best advice. I went and had lunch with them one day
Starting point is 00:40:10 and I was like, and Dad, I think I want to really give this a shot. I don't know what that means, but I just know the groundlings. I'm working my way up through and I know it's a place that come look for up and coming talent. He said, if it was based solely on talent, I wouldn't worry about you, which is really sweet. Yeah. He goes, but there's so much luck involved.
Starting point is 00:40:28 And he's like, just give it a shot. He goes, but if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit. If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration. It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat. Just hang in there. Yeah, it would not be. Right, it wouldn't be that.

In 2023, former bachelor star Clayton Eckerd found himself at the center of a paternity scandal. The family court hearings that followed revealed glaring inconsistencies in her story. This began a years-long court battle to prove the truth. You doctored this particular test twice in someone, correct? I doctored the test ones. It took an army of internet detectives to crack the case.
Starting point is 00:42:02 I wanted people to be able to see what their tax dollars were being used for. Sunlight's the greatest disinfected. They would uncover a disturbing pattern. Two more men who'd been through the same thing. Greg Alespian and Michael Marantini. My mind was blown. I'm Stephanie Young. This is Love Trap.
Starting point is 00:42:21 Laura, Scottsdale Police. As the season continues, Laura Owens finally faces consequences. Ladies and gentlemen, breaking news at Americopa County as Laura Owens has been indicted on fraud charges. This isn't over until justice has served in Arizona. Listen to Love Trapped podcast on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. So Lunchbox calls Nerd Alert and he makes fun of one of us. However, I'm going to put this on him. I think Lunchbox is doing something, Nerd Alert.
Starting point is 00:42:52 Uh-oh. He doesn't think it's Nerd Alert. Go ahead. So the season's finale of Big Brother was happening on Sunday night and my wife came across something where there were contestants from last season. Corey in America, they met on the show. Corey lives in Nashville. The person names America?
Starting point is 00:43:11 Yeah. That's pretty cool name. Yeah. She's hot. I don't care about that. But anyway, go ahead. And they got into showmance, and after the show, they started dating. She moved to Nashville.
Starting point is 00:43:20 And so for the new season, they were having a paid watch party for the season finale of Big Brother. Oh, so it's already happened. Yes. And were you interested in going? So my wife brings this to me, and it's like, we should go to this. And I was like, oh my goodness. How cool is this? So my question is, if I go.
Starting point is 00:43:42 It's already over. I'm not going to tell you what I did. Oh, got it. If you go, meaning if you were to position it before the show. Yes. Finale, go ahead. Would you, if I come to you guys, say, I win. Is that nerdy or is it cool?
Starting point is 00:43:55 Okay. Will you make fun of all of us for a nerdy thing? Is there something in between nerdy and cool? No, let's pick one. I would say, because you beat up on us, because I like Game of Thrones, or I like baseball cards or, I mean, we can do this with me 100 years. Yeah, we could be here all night. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:11 Because you say that I'm nerdy all the time. I would say that's equally as nerdy. I wouldn't be as judgmental on you. I would say, oh, wow, you find joy in that. Nobody's getting hurt. I think it's really cool. But I would still make fun of you just because you make fun of me. I would say nerd alert.
Starting point is 00:44:25 Got it. If mine are nerd alerts, that's a nerd alert. Okay. Amy? I say cool so that way he can just learn. By example, he can experience it. And then he can see like, oh, I'm really into this. and I paid money to hang out with people,
Starting point is 00:44:37 something that I'm interested in. So therefore people go pay money to hang out with, you know, Harry Potter people or Star Wars people. That's just what they're into. You know, I hear you, but what you're taking is that he's going to improve as a person based on his experience. One can hope. He didn't because he went and waited in line for hours to meet a teen mom.
Starting point is 00:44:54 Right. That's right. And a book signing. Yeah, Barnes & Noble. Maybe the more he experiences it. If anybody else were to go, I would not say nerd alert. But for you, how you judge us. I would say nerd alert. Amy says no nerd alert.
Starting point is 00:45:07 Eddie. Is it a party like, well, they're going to be there? Yeah, they're going to be there. Cori and they're throwing it. Yeah, Corey in America and then Bowie Jane was flying in from L.A. to be part of. Bowie Jane's going to be there too. And doesn't matter that it's like Big Brother people and not like Major League Baseball. Because when Eddie and I went to the Orioles and there were two Major League Baseball players there talking, elsewark was like, Nerd Alert, Baseball cards. No, no, no. I don't mind baseball cards, but you guys take it way over the top.
Starting point is 00:45:31 Nerd Alert, you flew across the country for some special meeting with a bunch of dudes. Very weird. right. It would have been better with your next. I mean, that was more of an evening with grown men that. What's the difference? This is about people on a reality show. I know, but. You probably, go ahead. What did you do? Did you go? I looked at my wife. I said, I mean, listen, I like Big Brother, but that is the nerdiest thing you've ever brought to me in my life. And I said, do you understand the reputation I have to uphold? We are not going. What reputation do you have other than being rude? If I, if I'm seen on the streets hanging out at the Big Brother paid watch party with Corey America and Bowie Jane,
Starting point is 00:46:05 gonna be like, this dude has lost it. I mean, wasn't it just a week ago that it was Snooky? Snooki. Nerd alert and how he acted. Snooki's a different level than Corey in American. And you realize if people saw you at that party, they would think like, oh, lunchbox is probably there with them. He knows them.
Starting point is 00:46:21 VIP style. Oh, I don't think that at all. I don't think they would have known who he was. Well, for a table or couch, it was like $200. It was expensive. He wanted to get the VIP exit. Let's say there was no judgment. Would you have like to have gone?
Starting point is 00:46:32 I haven't been all right. All right, what's going on? We need to do Hear Me Out. What does that mean? The bit. We need to do the Hear Me Out where you pitch something and you're like, guys, hear me out. I have a really good idea here because I have a great idea, Bones. I feel like we do this bit like nine different ways every day.
Starting point is 00:46:49 Okay. Yeah, you're right. Hear you out. Go ahead. Guys, we need a Bobby Bone Show suite at the Tennessee Titans games because they're terrible this year. They're going to go cheap. We get our own suite and we host parties every time there's a home game. I don't want to go.
Starting point is 00:47:04 What do you mean? I mean, I would go occasionally. But I don't want to spend What's a suite of year? $30,000? Right now. In the new stadium, I heard it is insane. But the new stadium doesn't exist yet.
Starting point is 00:47:17 I know, but people are buying them right now. That's what people are buying. Yeah, but we're not there right now. He wants to buy one now. Yeah. Is it one available? Because, Amy, the team's so bad. The tickets have to be cheap.
Starting point is 00:47:28 Okay. So, but then who's going to want to go? So we rotate. We rotate. Like, you both paying for it. The show. It comes out of the show fund. There's no show fund.
Starting point is 00:47:36 What do you mean? Show account. There's no show. When we play games, don't we like... No, that's usually either my money. And like, when I have to fly places for work sometimes, I don't even pay for me. I have to pay for myself. There's no show.
Starting point is 00:47:46 There's no show fund. Okay. Hey, what have we do? Also, this sounds like a terrible idea anyway. It sounds like a real terrible idea. I feel like people that have sweets and that are fans, like, they still want to go to all the games, even if, because, I mean, there's a chance they could win. Well, also, we couldn't ride it off because we aren't independent contractors.
Starting point is 00:48:00 When you see, like, a Tennessee Vols game and, like, Morgan Wallin's there, they show them at a suite, right? sitting there with like, because they paid, I mean, they gave him for free and he went. Right. So we invite Morgan, Luke Combs, whoever to the games, and behind them is the big Bobby Bone Show sign. So when they're on TV, boom. And you think they're going to come if we invite them, but they can't go anytime they want
Starting point is 00:48:20 otherwise. Wouldn't they want to go to our suite? We got, dude, we got stuff. We got snacks, drinks. I heard him. Is lunchbox like bleeding onto him or something? No, it's a dumbest idea. This might be one of the worst.
Starting point is 00:48:32 Tell him lunchbox. Like an up-and-coming artist. Again, what? Where do you guys get the money to do this? No, we don't have the money. That's what I'm bringing to you out. And so why would I want to spend, and why would Amy want to spend her money to do something we don't even want to do anyway when it's not a good investment for us in any way whatsoever? You guys can have some fun.
Starting point is 00:48:49 Your kids, not Gary Bobby, but Amy, your kids, they want to go experience that and they can do that. Maybe that's the shift you guys need in your life to have some fun. If I wanted to go to Titans games, I would. Just go to Titans games. It's the whole process. You don't want to do all that, but when you have a suite. What's all that means? He doesn't know what he's saying.
Starting point is 00:49:07 You probably have better parking. For sure. For sure. I would just pay the $20 bucks to park close. Oh, no, no, no. Because construction of the new stadium parking, you got to park and ride a bus. Anyway, I heard you out. What do you think?
Starting point is 00:49:18 I wish I wouldn't have heard you. What's the percentage of your interest, though, in this? Zero. No, come on. Be real. Zero. Because I'm not paying for a suite. I just go to a Titans Inn's seat.
Starting point is 00:49:28 I could go sit in the owner's suite. You want to flex? I could go sit in the owner's suite. Ray, how cool would that be? It would be cool, but I mean, the problem is this, the artist. I mean, like, Luke Combs isn't even a Titans fan. He's a Carolina Panthers fan. And also if he wanted to go, he could go anytime he wants.
Starting point is 00:49:44 He's rich. No. We almost need to make it an eye heart, and then we cater to Addison Ray, do a leap up. People like that. I like that. That's not bad, Ray. And Ray picks hot girls. I like where your heads are.
Starting point is 00:49:58 Like when the chiefs come, this is where Taylor sits in our suite. Oh, Taylor. Why don't you three invest? Well, you look up what a suite would cost for one game, Mike. One game. Probably like $5,000, if I'm guessing. For one game? I would just think it was more than that.
Starting point is 00:50:14 Oh, I thought it would be like $500. Well, I mean, when you get a suite, you also, it's catered. Tennessee Titans rentals cost between $6,000 and $16,000, depending on the opponent day of the week and size location. Most Titan suites will cost around $12,000 prior to any catering expenses. What about, Mike, if you do a suite for a season? I mean, we can negotiate that, right? You can't. Even the lowest of the low.
Starting point is 00:50:39 And also, it's a popularity thing. I have a buddy who's a bar owner, and he takes videos from it. And I mean, sometimes it's him and a chick. He has trouble filling the thing. Really? Can you imagine it every Sunday? Hey, lunch, are you bringing your kids? We need a couple other numbers, man.
Starting point is 00:50:53 You'd be like, anybody want to go on a lake? Hey, Bones, can you for sure come with Caitlin? You guarantee you guys are going to come. Okay, cool. Thanks, man. But single game suites, you get between 20 and 48 tickets. Club lounge access. I don't know that many people.
Starting point is 00:51:06 48. Every Sunday that's a burden to have to fill that thing. That's why it has to be eye heart. Okay, if you get an annual suite, it's 16 to 20 tickets. Why are we still even entertaining this? I was just curious how much it would cost
Starting point is 00:51:17 about $30,000 for the season. How cool would it be, though, if you told your buddy's like, hey, you want to go to a Tigers game? I would rather have a suite at the arena here because all the concerts come through. Yeah. And I know people have companies that have
Starting point is 00:51:29 and they're like, do you have tickets? It's amazing. We can't get people to sit for anything. Okay, pivot. You want to do the arena? I mean. We can do Preds games, concerts. Do you just want free tickets to stuff?
Starting point is 00:51:42 They're not free because he's looking for us to invest. If you spend 80%, Amy and I will come in on and be part of the other 20%. Whoa. How much are the arena suite tickets? Four. They got to be cheaper, though, right? Like the... No, because there's more games.
Starting point is 00:51:55 You're going to pay more. Well, you know, we're talking individually, like for an individual game. It'd probably be a little cheaper. Why would an individual suite game... be 12,000, but a season be only 30. The same reason that if you buy a pack, it's cheaper than if you buy one. You're committing more
Starting point is 00:52:11 money, and a lot of these sweets are open, and they sell them each game so they can sell it off at the beginning. That's like a case of beer is cheaper than a six-pack. Okay. Sweets for Bridgestone, between 3,000 on the low end instead of 6,000 on the other. Oh, we can do that. Three grand. That's for one deal. Oh, that's
Starting point is 00:52:27 one game? Yeah. You forget that. Okay. All right. Let's sit on it, man. Take your time, talk to your wife about it. You'll circle back in a couple weeks. Yeah, we'll circle back. Yeah, wait for me. Wait for me to come back around.
Starting point is 00:52:40 Bobby Bones Show. Boney up the day. This story comes from St. Petersburg, Florida. A 22-year-old woman ordered a pizza from Dominoes. They show up 1.30 a.m. Here's your pizza, ma'am. She opens it up. This is cold and it's not cut right.
Starting point is 00:52:59 So she jumps in the car, drives to the domino. and you think she's just going to go in and say, can you cut my pizza and warm it up? I don't think that. Nope. She went in, took the pizza, threw it at the workers, and knocked their telephone off the wall.
Starting point is 00:53:14 So it should be a salt. You can't throw stuff at somebody. The weird thing is it would take less work to cut it yourself and put in the microwave. Yeah. Far less work. I get it. You're irritated.
Starting point is 00:53:25 It's one a.m. You're probably drunk. Sure. Or upset. One time I ordered pizza and they forgot my barbecue drizzle. and I went in through it at them Wow No but I think I was a little hormonal
Starting point is 00:53:37 I called There was nothing they were even going to do about it But I was like, just wanted you to know You forgot my barbecue drizzle You know they were looking at their people like Okay I know I know I felt crazy at the time Two things One you ever got a pizza knot cut?
Starting point is 00:53:50 I did it's weird It's very weird It's because you're confused How do I eat this? Do I yank it? Do I get a nut? It's bizarre If you don't have a pizza cutter it's bizarre and then the second thing is
Starting point is 00:54:02 do they still have pizza delivery drivers or is everything attached to like a DoorDash Uber Eats type thing? They still have drivers. They do still have people. They do still have places. Okay, well, what happened to her? She was arrested and...
Starting point is 00:54:13 That's probably drunk. Yeah. Okay. All right. I'm Lunchbox. That's your Bonehead Story of the Day. They've invented a glass that makes you drink beer slower. The glass is like an hourglass.
Starting point is 00:54:25 And it's, if you drink a lot of beer and you're like, I'm going to have a couple beers. I'm not going to go crazy. So, and you pour it in. My dog has this thing, Stanley, because he eats so fast. He just, ah, ha, ha,rah, that he will, like, vomit because the food goes down too fast. Or he starts choking. So we have this bowl that has, like, little prongs in it.
Starting point is 00:54:44 And we pour the food in there, and he has to, like, eat around the prongs. And it would drive me crazy if I were him. But it's the only way he can eat without vomiting sometimes. So this is basically that bowl of prongs, but with a beer glass for humans that are like bulldogs when they drink beer. Right, right, right. Yeah. Which is most of us. And I guess you could pour anything in there.
Starting point is 00:55:02 Yeah, but mostly it's for like beer drink because they drink too. It's like guys who are like, I'm drinking way, or wives who are like, you're drinking way too much beer way too fast. Yeah. The top half will go right into their mouth. The bottom half of the glass will slowly release the last half of the beverage through the smaller passage in the middle. The idea, apparently, is it take longer for someone to enjoy a drink, thereby preventing them from drinking as much. I don't feel like this is going to catch on where everybody must have it, but it's probably a good. you know what?
Starting point is 00:55:31 You can have two beers tonight, gift. Like a wife gets a husband. It's not really a gift. Not really. Except sometimes you drink way too much and I'm like, don't drink at all, but this is our compromise. You got to worry about the beer staying cold, though.
Starting point is 00:55:44 If it's slow, like if it takes 30 minutes, you get it out of that cup. It's not to take 30 minutes. Warm beer. Nobody wants warm beer. Like Stanley can still eat all his food in like two minutes. So you're going to drink this. You're just not going to be able to knock it down.
Starting point is 00:55:55 Like, go. I don't like it. You're not supposed to like it. I'm out. supposed to appreciate it and you're not supposed to want it, but when you get it, you're supposed to understand why you're getting it. Yeah, but men, if this is for men, they're going to have to want to do it themselves. If a wife is like, look, I got you this, this is not going to go over well.
Starting point is 00:56:11 A slow sip beer. What if it's like dinner and she's like, or he, it could be the opposite way, right? Sure. We're being very sexist here. Yeah, we are. But I only know my buddies who have this problem drinking too much sometimes, I'll weaken it. She's like, I would rather you not drink on a Thursday because you go a little too hard, but you can have a beer, but you have to drink it out of this glass.
Starting point is 00:56:27 So isn't that better than no beer at all? Yeah, he's going to go. Eddie? Yeah, I mean, I'll take it. Sure, I guess. Better than no beer at all? Better than no beer at all, but I don't like it. I like to control my own pace. Yeah, yes, and that's what gets you in trouble.
