It would not be on a calendar. of, you know, the cat just hang in there. Yeah, it would not be. Right, it wouldn't be that. There's a lot of luck.
Starting point is 00:01:43 Listen to Thanks Dad on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. It's time for the Bobby Bones Post Show. Here's your host, Bobby Bones. Thank you. Way on I. I have a Bode show. Oh, no, no, no, no, no. You know, Adam Sandler's coming to town to do a show at Bridgetown Arena.
Starting point is 00:02:05 He is? Yeah, yeah, what's up with that? What do you mean? Tickets. Why do you talk like that? Yeah, yo, yo. Free tickets. There's no free tickets.
Starting point is 00:02:12 What? Mike bought his. I'm going to buy mine, and that's it. Man, I hit up scuba and I never heard back. Well, maybe they, I don't know. I'm not worried about it. I want to go. Then you should buy them.
Starting point is 00:02:23 You have money. Yeah, boy, if they can give me close. You should buy them. You have money. Those are more expensive up close. So he's coming. That's awesome. That's a sand man.
Starting point is 00:02:36 But I didn't know Mike sent me the Instagram post. He's like, Sandler's coming in April? February. Oh my gosh. It's like the 17th. Dude, I'm down, absolutely. I thought when Mike told me he was coming, Mike was planning on him and I to go. And he got tickets for him and his wife.
Starting point is 00:02:50 And then I was like, oh, okay. Mike, how much were a ticket? You and I will go. Yeah, usually like, you know, you have something that we both like, we go. This is going to be awesome. Yeah. So that's fine, huh? His special on Netflix is the best one I've ever seen.
Starting point is 00:03:03 But I also really like Adam Sandler. Is that the one with a Chris Farley tribute? Yeah, the serious Chris Farley. Oh, dude, that's so good. He has a guy with the piano on stage the whole time. Yes. And he's playing, it's really good. So I saw that, pretty exciting.
Starting point is 00:03:15 What was tough over the break was I got really sick over the break. I got some sort of virus for like 36 hours. I'm talking about wipe my bud out. Stomack? Yeah. So my sister got, we were in Arkansas, my sister got sick. And we were going to stay another day and she's like, I can't. I can't.
Starting point is 00:03:32 I can't leave the bed. And so I just figured she had fly. because flu's going around. And so we were like, well, if she's not around, we'll just drive home, get home a day earlier because we were going to go down and watch the bowl game in Orlando with Oklahoma. And so, okay, we'll just go home. So we drove home. And she was like, yeah, I've been feeling terrible. Next day, she's like, I feel pretty bad. She's over like two days later, back at work. About that time, I started to feel. My stomach felt like the demon. The seed had planted itself and was starting to rip out of me. It hurts so bad. And I wasn't like throwing up
Starting point is 00:04:04 or diarrhea or anything, but my stomach was, I couldn't do anything. My stomach was hurting so bad. And then I started to feel like when you get the flu, like you're just like a truck hit you. And so I'm out. And so I call and I do the little portal thing to the doctor and I'm like, hey, I think I might have the flu or outside shot I have COVID. But it didn't feel like COVID. Nothing about it was COVID-y except for sick.
Starting point is 00:04:27 But all these strains of COVID are different now. So I don't know. And so they were like, well, if you can come up, we can test you for flu. and I felt so bad. It was almost like, I don't even want to go up. I feel so bad. I can't get in the car.
Starting point is 00:04:37 And I got in the car from my feet up and just like felt, my Kylan drove me in. I just felt, oh. But I go and I got tested and they're like, you don't have the flu.
Starting point is 00:04:44 You don't have COVID. Bless you. Sorry. Oh, I agree. And so I go home. I mean, I,
Starting point is 00:04:53 it was an eight out of ten bad. Oh. I feel you, man. 24 hours later, I started, it was just all of a sudden started to lift.
Starting point is 00:05:01 And so it was like the same thing my sister. 36 hours, gone. Then I had a friend that were real close to a call and go, oh my God, we're supposed to go do something to have dinner. He's like, I can't. I'm sick. And I was like, I have no fear.
Starting point is 00:05:12 36 hours, you're better. You'll be clear. And then he was better. So it's just a brutal bug that was going around. Eddie, I don't know, you talked about your family getting sick. Sounds like your wife's was something different than that. Well, you know, I think it all started like that because most of us were, yeah, that 24 hours, day and a half, we were all better.
Starting point is 00:05:28 But her and my baby were the ones that just kind of lingered. But you know what I learned about my. myself during that time is that I guess I don't really throw up because everyone was throwing up I felt like I was going to throw up but I never did which made it worse I think they got it all out of the system
Starting point is 00:05:44 mine went through the body which I think like totally attack my body made me tired and then paid for it on the other end I felt my I had a like a minor fever and I was trying to get my wife to not be around me because I didn't want her to get it and I was like just
Starting point is 00:06:01 stay and sleep in the other room she slept in the other room. She was like, I'll, she's like, I'm fine getting sick. I'll just take it. I was like, no, no, no, no. Don't get sick. Stay in the other room. I can handle it. And I'm not as big a baby if no one can hear me. It's like if a tree falls in the woods. If you can't hear me in a big baby, I'm not a big baby. And so she would sleep. One night, she slept on the other room. And so I felt like had a fever. And I felt I go,
Starting point is 00:06:24 and break. And I started sweating. Oh, it's amazing. And I was like, oh, my God. That's it. And I wasn't feeling good yet, but I was like, I know I'm going to be good now. and that's what happened. Like next six hours, it's slow. And then we went to the game. And I was better. That's cool. By the time I got back from the game,
Starting point is 00:06:37 I was 100% better. So watch out for the bug. You get sick. I did before we left. Remember, I missed a couple days. Yeah, but that was different because you were like. No, no, no, that was. I thought you were like, okay, dog.
Starting point is 00:06:48 No, no, that was coming out both sides. Wait a second. Did he give it to us? No, no. Wait, did I get sick because of you? No, no, no. Oh, no, no. No, no.
Starting point is 00:06:55 Oh, my God. This is all. It's all. It's all. shortly after. Yeah. When did you get sick? Shortly after?
Starting point is 00:07:06 No, it was like two weeks later. Oh, no, no, no. Mike, I did not see him for a week. I did not see you for a week when I got sick, so don't even blame me. But I was on the bedroom floor and I told my wife, just take me to the hospital. Oh, you want to go, wow. Well, you pass out when you throw up. Listen, I pass out when I throw up.
Starting point is 00:07:26 It was coming out both ends. Oh, gosh. And my stomach was cramping so much. I couldn't even, like, I couldn't lay there, I couldn't sit there, I couldn't do, I couldn't do anything. So you, I got the box. So it's a delayed, um. Yeah, two weeks later. Yeah, the incubation period is about two weeks.
Starting point is 00:07:41 Yeah. We had a big Christmas dinner. Lots of family. And then the next day, uh, got a phone call to people tested positive for COVID. We were all like, cool. But everybody else was fine. They felt very, very sick, like really sick. And nobody else did.
Starting point is 00:07:58 So we were like, great. And they were like, you made the cheese. right? Generally, I'm going to make a very general statement here. It's generally that COVID is getting a little weaker because it's starting to be watered down a bit, different strains, different people are either more people to get it. It's harder to get. It's harder to pass along because more people have had it in the last little situation. So they can't, their antibodies. So it's starting to be less severe. What are you writing down? Oh, I was just writing a note about COVID. Huh? What note are you writing about COVID? You got a straight to his paper like he.
Starting point is 00:08:29 Yeah, what are you doing? I was writing, make your appointment to get a COVID booster. Oh, okay. Yeah. And right then you wrote on a piece of scrap paper. Yeah, I always write on paper. And I put it in my pocket. No, you don't.
Starting point is 00:08:40 You don't. You leave them here, which is weird to me. No, no, no. You think I do that. All these papers are here. But the ones I write on that I need, I put in my pocket. And then that way later in the day, I pull it out. And I'm like, oh, need to do that.
Starting point is 00:08:50 Okay. How else would I do it? Those are the papers he puts up there for you. Yeah. Okay. Those are my trick papers. All right. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:00 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You said something about COVID being weaker. And I was like, oh, COVID, I didn't get that booster. Yeah, I did, I do too. Yeah. I do too.
Starting point is 00:09:07 Well, we're all here. I know we all had issues of some. Not me, man. No issue with me. I drove, no problem. Drove? Drove? You don't have anything?
Starting point is 00:09:17 Nothing? Nothing happened? No. No, another. Other audit hit on you? Wow. We'll talk about that later. Okay.
Starting point is 00:09:23 Yeah. She may be tuning in right now. I figure she listens the day after to see if anything's to be revealed. I got you. So you want to hold? Hold. But she can hear this and now she'll probably hold with us. She can always just hold, dude. The best candle
Starting point is 00:09:44 scent for your home is the vanilla scented candle. Vanilla's nice. The smell of something everybody's familiar with and most comfortable with. It's not too strong. It's studies show it's preferred most out of any other candle. The vanilla sent has the ability to sue the brain's emotional control center as well. Vanilla got screwed because vanilla is considered bland and not a flavor.
Starting point is 00:10:03 It's like, eh, it's very vanilla. So that means there's nothing, there's nothing to it. Vanilla's actually a flavor. Really good flavor. Yeah. But it lost in the flavor game. It's PR people need to be fired. What's the difference between vanilla and vanilla nut?
Starting point is 00:10:15 You put nuts in it, vanilla. What? All right. Remember that photographer? We all took pictures within Austin? That's from first for women. First for women, yes. Okay, he...
Starting point is 00:10:23 I don't remember. No, he was the creepy photographer. I didn't take them with them. We all did. Yes, we did. We did. But I took them as a teenager. I also, I'm not saying anybody's creepy, so for the record. Well, I can, because I took pictures as a teenager, and I don't know how my mom let me do that. But anyways, my sister also did, and she has this picture where she's, like, climbing up this wall. It's very not appropriate for 16.
Starting point is 00:10:46 And he said to her, all right, right now, are you plain vanilla, or are you French vanilla? French vanilla was the more scandalous one. But any time I think of vanilla ice cream, it's like, you said vanilla gets like kind of the shaft, but there's French vanilla vanilla. French vanilla is the scandalous one? I don't think it's vanilla bean. I don't think it's vanilla bean. Oh, vanilla bean, you're right. You're not vanilla nut? You're right. No, it's vanilla bean.
Starting point is 00:11:09 Okay, maybe a bean. Maybe vanilla gets screwed over. Yeah. Because it's a strong flavor. I'll tell you what, though, about that scent, though, it makes me want ice cream. It's also the color of vanilla, too, which it's just, no, but that's just a color that white does not really consider it a color. It's just, yeah, it needs to be our work. I'll take that on.
Starting point is 00:11:27 I'll reshape the public's thoughts of vanilla. New Year's resolutions. We talked about them or how we're doing it. Lunchbox went out to the street. And so, Lunchbox, you talked to three different people. Three different people. Here is Lunchbox asking them what do you want to change about yourself, which is a different direction.
Starting point is 00:11:44 I mean, it's kind of the same thing, right? Okay, here, this is First Lady, who's a singer. Go ahead. What's your New Year's resolutions for 2023? Why you got to have a new resolution? So you're saying everything's great? Well, no, if you're going to work on you're saying, do it in advance. Okay, so you got nothing?
Starting point is 00:11:58 I'm already working on myself. What are you doing? Music. Okay. I rap, dancing scene. Okay, can you give me, let me hear a little bit. I want to hear it. Quiet, guys. No new friends, baby, I'll continue, yeah, I focused on myself. Don't got time, no waste time. Yeah, it's time to get it, yeah. That's it's all I got. Boom, good luck. Thank you. You don't have a microphone with you, right? It's just my phone.
Starting point is 00:12:21 So she doesn't even know what you're doing, really. Oh, my gosh. Well, yeah, I hold my phone there. Yeah, but does she know you're like on a radio show? Yeah, I'll tell her all that, but you don't need all that in the clip. I mean, it's kind of annoying. If you want to hear that, I can put it in that. No, that's okay. I just wonder if she knew that she'd be on the radio, she might try a little harder
Starting point is 00:12:36 because I felt like she was trying to get rid of you. Oh, no, no, no, I felt like, no time to go. Okay, guy. And then he just said, like, well, good luck and then left. Well, because it wasn't very good. Here's a cashier that lunchbox talks to. Hello, how are you? Good.
Starting point is 00:12:52 Happy New Year. Happy New Year's, see. How you been? Good. What's your New Year's race? resolution. Honestly, I didn't make one. Oh, come on.
Starting point is 00:12:59 You got to have something. Yeah, I ain't even make one this year. You said, screw, you're just perfect? I mean, I got goals, but I just got like a main. What are your goals, though? One is to get a car, finally. Okay. And the next one is to get back into child care, because this is what I usually do is
Starting point is 00:13:15 childcare. Okay. All right, brum, brum, good luck. Happy New Year. Yeah. Broom, broom. Like, get a car, like, get them wheels. Oh.
Starting point is 00:13:25 You didn't even help her. though. Well, how am I going to help her? But she's like, why did he just ask that? And I go through that whole thing and he walks off and goes, boom, brum. I mean, child care. I mean, I could have said, oh, do you babysit, but I didn't, I mean. Yeah, exactly. No, I don't know her. Lady is getting her finances together. Here's watch what's talking to her. What's your New Year's resolution? It's 2023. Get my financial situation. We're going to stop spending less. We're going to stop. Stop spending less. Say more. Okay. No more gambling. No more nail salon. That could be the reason. No more eating out. No. Cook.
Starting point is 00:13:56 Cook, cook. All right. Hey, let's get those financials. Let's go. 2023 is a year. Okay, thank you lunchbox for that. You didn't leave her with a like a... Chomp, chom chinging. He also both said stop spending less, which is... Yeah, she'd give people advice to, like, help them with something. You can't, stop.
Starting point is 00:14:15 Well, I said stop gambling. But leave them with each person that you're going, because they think you might be one of the people from TikTok who's, like, giving away thousands of dollars. Oh, yeah. Like, yes, what do I want? And he gives you something. Instead, you just like make a number.
Starting point is 00:14:26 noise and walk off awkwardly. At least offer them some advice or something. I mean, I gave her a high five. I said vroom, vroom. I like it. I mean, I, is that storm again? We got another storm coming? Yeah. Was that a car? Oh, no, it was room, room. There were tornado warnings or watches and maybe warnings in certain parts of town while we were doing the show. But our, our studios like Las Vegas are no clocks. You don't know what time it is. No windows. No windows. So I had no idea. Kaila texted's like, hey, you're you good? Tornado coming through your area? And I was like, A tornado? I didn't know there was such thing.
Starting point is 00:14:56 But also if you don't know about it, it can't hit you. Is that right? How's that? Stop. If you don't know that it's coming towards you, it will never hit you. Ignore it. It's like if your health is bad. Don't even go to the doctor.
Starting point is 00:15:11 It can't be anything bad. But then if it hits you, then it's bad. But you don't know the difference because you hit you and it's over. I'm kidding. But we have a basement. Do we? Yeah. Down below.
Starting point is 00:15:21 I think that's just the ground. I think that's a parking garage. But it's under. Yeah, but it's wide open. It's all going to fall on us and kill us. Right, right, right. Wait, I thought during a tornado you're supposed to go to the basement. Yeah, yeah, basement that is like...
Starting point is 00:15:32 That's not a basement, though. That's just a garage. It's not. I don't think so. I thought anything underground. Well, it's not even underground. It's on the ground. It is?
Starting point is 00:15:38 Oh, I thought it was below. No. And it's open, too, so it sucks us right out. I guess this room is our same. It blow concrete and kill us. So, Amy, that would be worse for us. Okay, fine. Well, stay in here.
Starting point is 00:15:49 I was like, I chase Tony Day. I run at it. We go down the stairs. There's a $100,000 a night hotel room in Las Vegas. It's the most expensive hotel room in the world. Say that one more time. It's called the Empathy Suite. It's $100,000. Let's do it.
Starting point is 00:16:03 A night. Why would we do that? With what money? Oh, my goodness, guys. If we put up a donation site, people would donate and send... I don't think they would. Okay, but what do you get?
Starting point is 00:16:13 So this designer is all super famous and builds all these rooms. There's two taxidermy sharks in there. a wonderful view of the city, two floors, a private swimming pool inside of it. That's cool. The whole suite occupies a pretty big area. It has a movie theater. It has a 13-seater bar, a lounge capable of hosting 52 guests. There's a dining room of two large bedrooms, huge amounts of storage, and a spa with massage and fitness rooms.
Starting point is 00:16:36 A jacuzzi, a fleet of employees, 24-hour Butler service, a chauffeur and a bar staff. You get $10,000 worth of credit at the casino as well. So it's a $90,000 room, it sounds like. That sounds awesome. LAD Bible. It doesn't. It sounds like a big waste of money. Whatever you...
Starting point is 00:16:51 And we all have our own things to waste money on for sure. But that's a lot. Did you not hear the gambling credit? Yeah, but you're paying for that. Yeah. It's not credit. So it's a $90,000.
Starting point is 00:17:03 It's pretty... It does look awesome. But what's with the sharks? It's pretty cool. Because it's awesome. Stuff sharks? Yeah. I mean, I go to the seafood restaurant.
Starting point is 00:17:12 There's a stuffed marlin on the wall. You can get just take them with you. I mean, remember in Austin, the club that had the sharks in the floor? Those were live charts. That was bad. What was that? Quah? Quah. Quah. Amy, good memory. I don't even... I think I went once.
Starting point is 00:17:27 But then they had to get rid of them right because the sound was bad for the... Yeah, boom, boom. And they had to get rid of them because they got raided by the feds. Oh, yeah, that's right. Well, first, though, was the sound. They got in trouble, then they got raided. Yeah, they had multiple clubs. Yeah, the thing about the club was always like, you have to get fancy and go to some of those clubs.
Starting point is 00:17:45 But again, why did they get raided by the feds? Do you remember, were they? Oh, they were in a ring. Are they laundering things? Yeah, money laundering. I don't know that's the case. No, no. Wait, wait, it was in the news. You don't have like you know something that most people don't. He's like, let's just say, no, it was in the news. It was. Yeah. Man, I was a big bust. I remember that day. It does make sense,
Starting point is 00:18:05 and I have this story here. It does make sense that you make it super fancy and rich people-y, because then you can say you have more money coming in. Yeah. Because you don't care who comes in anyway. I just remember everyone in Austin being like, oh, why are all these clubs trying to be like Dallas? One of Austin's biggest club owners faces federal indictment after law enforcement raided to four downtown venues. The FBI alleges that this guy and his brothers and assistant laundered over $200,000, believed to be the proceeds of narcotics trafficking through several businesses. Crazy. Multiple raids.
Starting point is 00:18:36 There was Treasure Island, which we went to a bunch. Pure ultra lounge. Pure fuel. Yeah. Kiss and fly. And it goes on down. Where were their names again? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:18:48 The brothers. You don't need to know. Man, it was crazy times. A California woman keeps getting many space heaters in the mail. She never ordered one. Huh. Connie Matthew says she has received over 100 mini space heaters. They keep getting sent to her.
Starting point is 00:19:03 She's never ordered one single space heater. She suspects the return address for defective items listed as hers because the boxes are coming from all over the country. So she has 100 space heaters. Wow. It's from UPI. Those things come in handy, though, when the power goes out. Yeah, I need one of those over Christmas.
Starting point is 00:19:17 And you never think about buying one, because you have power. And you're like, have power and heat, why don't want to go buy space heater? Then as soon as it goes out, why didn't I buy a freaking space heater? Yep. Is it battery operated?
Starting point is 00:19:25 Yeah. Oh. It can be. It can be out of the one because you can lose heat without losing electricity. That's what happened to me. One of my neighbors has a generator.
Starting point is 00:19:34 And it's like showing, it shows off all the time. It's like if the power goes out, you hear the neighbor generator go, boom. Wait, should it generate for the house? They have a whole, yes. So they never run out of anything.
Starting point is 00:19:46 But I just feel like when it goes out, it's like it automatically just rubs it in our faces. I have a generator, but it's like 12 volts. It turns out a flashlight or a lamp. That's funny. We have a pretty big one. Yeah, you do? Yeah, we have a pretty big one.
Starting point is 00:19:59 Oh, maybe I'm hearing one from your house. One of those purchases, though, that I was like, why do we have to buy this? We don't need it. Until you do. And I know, but it's just like, it's like buying, well, a refrigerator though you might need, but it's like if the fridge is getting old and they go, well, it's going to cost $800 to repair it or you can pay $1,300 for a new one. and you're like, I don't want to pay $800 to repair an old one
Starting point is 00:20:20 and I have to repair again, but you don't want to spend that because you don't need it. And it's like, well, we have an old generator. I want to get that one fixed, but it's a piece of crap. So I'd buy a new one. And I was like, oh, man. You'll use it someday. I hope not.
Starting point is 00:20:34 Well, or if you do need it, you're glad that you bought it. I hope not. Yeah. I can order some lunch real quick. What are we eating? Yeah, what are we getting, man? Doing fish? No.
Starting point is 00:20:47 No? Fish for lunch, dude? That's so terrible. I'm just not a fish guy in general. Really? Like 10? Salmon? I ate, first of all, salmon.
Starting point is 00:20:53 But I had so much fish growing up because we ate half. Half of our food was stuff we either caught or killed. I'm like I can act like it was all the time. We weren't freaking Daniel booed. I got you. But half of it was stuff we caught or killed. I had so much fish. Yeah, but you'd fry that, right?
Starting point is 00:21:11 Yeah, but still it's fried catfish. It's still fish. And so I'm over. It's like camping. One of my friend Scotty is like, hey, he lives in Colorado. He's like, come out here. He loves the winter, loves Colorado, the mountains hiking, camping. He's like, come out here.
Starting point is 00:21:26 Let's go camping for a few days. I'm like, bro, I spent 17 years camping. I have no interest. I don't want to go camping. I've done it. I've lived in a camper for almost two years. So also when I was trying to order food to actually open draft kings, I think that's just, I know. That's a sign.
Starting point is 00:21:42 I know, bro. I was just like, I need to get some food. I'm going to order a wrap. There's a certain wrap that I like from this place. Would you like to hear what's in it? Sure. But then I'm going to be hungry. Well, it's almost time to go.
Starting point is 00:21:54 I've got a couple more stories to talk about here. But if I don't order it now to the house, it won't get there. Orders. Okay, I'm going to... Got it. Okay, here's my wrap. It's the sweet and savory wrap. It's chicken, provolone cheese, spinach dates, walnuts,
Starting point is 00:22:13 and vinegarate dressing, which I don't think... That actually sounds pretty good. Make it two. Make it three. Well, if you want to come to my house, I'll get you one. He just follows me home and got lunchbox engine drives off. For a free lunch. Ordering.
Starting point is 00:22:27 Double-click. Where'd you get that from? Hold on, I'll tell you. Oh, he's got the pen out. You seem far away from this address. Yeah, I'm at work. Yeah, I'm at work, idiot. It is from, hold on.
Starting point is 00:22:43 It's submitting my order. You get this wrap a lot? Yeah, it's my favorite one. All right. Are you going to take this piece of paper home? Yeah, and put them in my pocket. It's from clean juice. Oh, clean.
Starting point is 00:22:54 Oh, they have food. Yeah. They have good salads too. A 19-year-old driver admitted to driving a Honda 120 miles an hour in Iowa last week because a good song came on the radio. They don't know the good song yet, but it's by Fannie Pack by the Raging Idiots. Ooh, for sure. 120, have no interest in going that fast.
Starting point is 00:23:09 That's from the smoking gun. The Masters golf tournament is the biggest golf tournament in the world. Green Jacket. Yes. And they still do very old-school things. Like, they invite people to play through. a package in the mail. And you open it.
Starting point is 00:23:21 And it's like, hey, we'd like to invite you to play the Masters. So there's a guy named Scott Stallings, who's a PGA tour player and he's waiting for his invitation. Not a big famous golf or anything,
Starting point is 00:23:29 but big enough to plan the tour. He's waiting, never gets it, never gets it, never gets it. Somebody messes him on DM and goes, hey, my name Scott Stallings, and they mailed this to me. The invitation? That's amazing.
Starting point is 00:23:40 He tweeted a screenshot and showed it and said this is, and it's a whole package. Wow. So they've got to let this guy come to the Masters now. Maybe. Not play, not play, but he's got to be able to come.
Starting point is 00:23:49 Yeah, this other Scott Stalling should make him a guest. Yeah, yeah. But that's pretty funny. Listen to this, though. Hold on. The guy, Scott Stallings, the fake one, who's the real Scott Stalings, but he's the fake one. His wife's name is Jennifer, and so is the real Scott Stalling's wife. Weird. They share the same name, they live in the same state.
Starting point is 00:24:05 They're both married to a woman named Jennifer. And they found out through instant message. What are we going to say? I mean, they really should invite him out to the Masters and give him the whole shebang. You about to say something? No, I was going to say they should just start changing their ways of doing things. I know they've been doing it for you. No, no, no, I like it.
Starting point is 00:24:21 Because their hot dogs are still like a dollar, right? They're very cheap, yeah. Like, it's 50 cent hot dogs or something. Yeah. But also, since phones weren't alive and exist, you don't get to have them. It sucks. You can't even, like, look at scores. It sucks.
Starting point is 00:24:33 It sucks. It sucks. It sucks. It sucks. It's all to kick you out. Like, you can't take a picture. That's crazy. Yeah, it's crazy.
Starting point is 00:24:39 I got invited to play the AT&T Celebrity Pro Am at, like, Pebble Beach. When? Spyglass. This year? This is the big one, Amy. It's a big one. They show it on CBS. You're going to be on TV playing golf? Hold on. Hold on.
Starting point is 00:24:53 Wow. Who's your partner? Hold on. That is awesome. He's not done talking. I'm not done. So I was in, I'm not a great golfer. It doesn't matter.
Starting point is 00:25:02 But I mean, I would shoot mid-80s. I think I'm a 12 handicap. And so the head of this organization, because it's a charity event, that whole thing is for charity. Invite me to play. But usually. You get invited, and I'll be the first alternate. So if somebody of the whole crew drops out, I'm the first one in. But I get to go and play every practice round at all these courses, Pebble Beach, Spyglass.
Starting point is 00:25:32 That's legit. It's legit. You sit there and hope someone drops out. And if they don't, I play all the golf, all the practice rounds for three days, and then go home. It's amazing. Hey, you need someone to Tony Harding? Is it, whoop somebody's leg? No.
Starting point is 00:25:44 Scott Stallons. But I'm going to, like Church is playing. church, Jake's playing, Ben Rector, who's a good friend of mine, who's an artist who played the show a couple times. He was the alternate last year and played. That's legit. How many people are in it, like,
Starting point is 00:26:02 that are actually playing? It's a whole tournament, so. Yeah, it's a whole tournament. But I'm thinking, what are your odds? How many people? Oh, someone will drop. Not good. Maybe.
Starting point is 00:26:10 Yeah, I hope so. That's what happens. They get out there, they tweak it back. I mean, the problem is everybody waits. It's so hard to get invited, and I probably shouldn't have been invited. I'm the alternate celebrity, but I'm also, like a celebrity alternate in real life. I'm not a real celebrity.
Starting point is 00:26:23 Man, we're going places. If somebody drops out of something and other stuff, they're like, well, we can get Bobby. He's not a real celebrity, but it's like an alternate. That's still really cool. It's really cool. But now I'm having anxiety about it because I'm going to go out there and be worse than I normally play because I'm going to get nervous about it. That's okay. The other person on your team will carry you. But wait, you play with the...
Starting point is 00:26:41 You play with the pro. But not the same score. No, no, no. They're playing for real tournament. Yes. But you guys are also playing as a team for the pro am. Yeah, so you could cause that pro to get cut. You could. No, no, no, no, that's not true. Oh, no, I would play. He's shooting for his tournament.
Starting point is 00:27:00 I know. God, dang, I was like, I'm for sure. So I'm the alternate, first alternate, and I hope it'd be fun to play it, but also I'm like, I don't want to play it because I'm going to be so nervous and play terribly. 2023 is our year. This is going to be huge. Channel that to excitement.
Starting point is 00:27:14 I know. And I'll be fine. I'll figure it out. I'll talk myself into it. Yeah, you will. It is a big deal more than, I mean, I could. Yeah. It is a big deal.
Starting point is 00:27:19 Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, Eric Church, Buster Posi, Alex Smith, Steve Young, Macklemore, Clint Eastwood, Scott Eastwood, Larry Fitzgerald, Josh Dumo. Clint Eastwood? Oh, he's always there. He's the president. He ain't going to play. Nobody's there.
Starting point is 00:27:34 Okay. Yeah. Alfonso Ribeiro and more. That is awesome. And alternates. And dot, dot, dot. Charles Kelly, Darius, Ben Rector, Pat Monaghan. So we'll see if I get in.
Starting point is 00:27:46 Pat Monahan train? Train, baby. Wow, man. That's awesome. That's amazing. they all like jump up and sing and stuff like at night during events. Dang, that'd be really cool. I played in the, and I don't want to make this a golf segment,
Starting point is 00:27:56 most of this segment about me freaking out because I'm, I got to like face my fears here and just not be anxious about it. But I played in a pro M and Eddie was my caddy at a tournament, a PGA tournament in Texas. Colonial. And I played with Jordan Speath. And I played pretty good. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:12 Considering it wasn't on TV. Did you ever talk about what? You and Jordan? What? Did you talk about that? That sounds... They make out or what? No, no, no, no.
Starting point is 00:28:22 That's what you're trying to... Literally. Oh, um... I don't know. Ever talking about betting money against Jordan Speath, the pro golfer? I don't know who you were talking about that. It was awesome.
Starting point is 00:28:33 It's dumb. It's not a bad thing. I just... He can do that because we're just goofing around, I think. Yeah, okay, okay. It's not a bad. I might get him in trouble. No, I don't think so.
Starting point is 00:28:40 Okay, that's all... The only reason I wouldn't, because I wouldn't know the rules. But so we bet... He gave me... We bet... For every birdie... you would pay him. Yes, 100 bucks.
Starting point is 00:28:52 Yes. And every bogey that you would get, he'd pay you. 100 bucks. That's pretty fun. It sounds fair. It wasn't. I lost some money.
Starting point is 00:29:02 I bet. So will we be able to watch you on TV? If I play the tournament, yes. Do I have to have like golf network? No, no, you just watch NBC. Well, hold on. It's one of those networks, but you have to, the first two days are like on golf channel.
Starting point is 00:29:13 If you make the cut, then you play. I'm not making a cut, Amy, the first two days, we'll just be there in person, so it don't matter. You can buy tickets to it And go and watch What's it called? ATT, Pebble Beach ProM
Starting point is 00:29:27 Buy your tickets at ATT Hold on ATTPBGolf.com It's the What's the date? Yeah, hit the date up there, Mikey See if I can make it. To the very top. It's January 30th to February 5th.
Starting point is 00:29:40 That's a long week I'll talk to the wife. Talk to the wife But I'm pretty excited about that. I was nervous, anxious, I'm not good anyway, and I'm going to be worse in this situation. I can get on a stage. I can get on television and dance.
Starting point is 00:29:54 But if I'm playing off front of two people, I'm like, oh God, it's a weird situation. Stupid. Moving on from that. Someone noticed a bad odor coming from a donation bin. I found a dead body inside. The corner says the body's been inside the bin for months. The bin allegedly hadn't been emptied in years and had VHS tapes inside. That's how long it's been.
Starting point is 00:30:17 So is it a diver. I've always, yeah, they were trying to get something out. They got stuck and then they just, but my whole thing is, or they dumped a body in there. They just never checked. Killed somebody dumped a body in there. I always look at those bins. I'm like, no one ever empties those things.
Starting point is 00:30:29 Like you drop. Oh, they do. They do. I was in a process of kind of like purging and I went to donate a bunch and it was packed, packed. And I drove by two days later and it was empty. So they do empty them out. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:40 Someone took it. Good. That's what it's for. Gosh, that's terrible. Then they had a garage sale. No, they didn't. to never be found for months
Starting point is 00:30:50 Yeah, that sucks Husbury down Oh, oh, ugh Okay, what do we got here? The Jeremy Renner story Oh, that was crazy too Severely injured in a snowplow accident Jeremy Renner was in an accident
Starting point is 00:31:04 involving a snowplow Sunday morning He had to be airlifted from the mountain Where the accident occurred, the actors in critical condition, but stable You know what happened though? It says snowplow. And I guess it malfunctioned. Was he a snow plow?
Starting point is 00:31:18 He was driving a snow plow? He was driving. He was working. He has a house there and it was, he had to get rid of the snow. And then the doctor neighbor came out and put a tourniquet on his leg, saved him. And what surprised. Wow. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:31 How lucky. And then they had to helicopter him. You're 50% more likely to look old if you don't drink enough water. Eddie, you drinking water? No, man. I just coffee. It's not good. That's it.
Starting point is 00:31:43 Okay. I think that's most of every. I got a few more things. Powerball mega millions tonight worth $7.85 million bucks. Yep. Are you playing? I'm playing. I'm going $100.
Starting point is 00:31:53 That's such a waste. Okay. All the money that you've ever wasted, that you've ever played and lost was a waste. It's not an investment, it's a waste. Do you understand that? No. If I win.
Starting point is 00:32:05 But you didn't. Guess what? All that past money is a waste. You've wasted it. And guess what? No, no, no. I'm telling you. Okay, fine.
Starting point is 00:32:10 It's waste. Whatever. It's gone. Who cares? But guess what? If I win $785 million dollars, do you think I'm going to care about? that measly $10,000 I've wasted.
Starting point is 00:32:19 $10,000. I will build my toilet out of $10,000. If you never win, though, are you going to, like, care about it? I mean, like, gosh, this is a lot of it. No, I try not to think about negative stuff, man. I try to keep a positive. Oh, you don't. Everything about you's negative.
Starting point is 00:32:32 Okay? That's so true. Everything about it's negative. I'm pretty positive. I'm going to win tonight. Ray Mundo says somebody on the show needs to be reprimanded, and it's so serious. It may need to go on their file. Oh, my.
Starting point is 00:32:43 Is it somebody here, like, works amongst us? Yes. Okay, go ahead. Okay, so when our vacation started, I sent a text message to Eddie because I was contacted by the Nashville Predators. They said, hey, can you send us the video of Abby, their mascot Nash? They're going to do a whole thing with it. And I didn't know exactly how big it was going to be, is going to go on TV, this, that, and the other. I knew it was important, though, is from the Nashville Predators.
Starting point is 00:33:06 So I sent Eddie the text, hey, man, really need this video. Well, one day went by. Two days went by. Three days went by. And three days, I'm like, freaking out. You guys know me. I'm like, what am I going to do? The predators want this video.
Starting point is 00:33:17 I'm not providing it to them. First of all, Did you text him again, though, second time? Because he doesn't respond to me sometimes too. Well, he's also on another text thread that he doesn't respond to, so there's no reason to text him again. So I'm just like, hopefully he'll respond. So three days went by.
Starting point is 00:33:30 And I said, screw it. I was panicking. So I hit up Morgan. I said, I know this isn't your department. You have to help me get this video. She taught me a bunch of stuff. I was able to get the video and sent it to the National Predators. So you want a file that Eddie was on vacation and didn't work.
Starting point is 00:33:43 Huh, interesting. Or even a text message back that, hey. I don't think you can file that with HR. He was on vacation. Okay. On my personal phone? I didn't answer that, so you're going to file it? No.
Starting point is 00:33:54 Who would you file it with, though? How would you do that? You do HR, it's just reckless. Your complaint is he was on vacation and wouldn't work. Did you ask him before you left for vacation for the video? This is during vacation. It just sucked that the video was held hostage, though. So that would actually be held.
Starting point is 00:34:09 No, no, no. It wasn't hostage. He wasn't saying he needed. Okay, anyway. Let me move into another rate point before we end this. Ray's offended at an AT&T commercial? Yeah, so I was watching this overbreak as well. And I mean, I heard it once and I go, did I hear that right?
Starting point is 00:34:22 Were they really making fun of this guy for that? Because I also suffer from it. So I have the commercial if you want to hear it. Go ahead. Okay, I'm going to play it. I know the commercial. Okay, here you go. If there's anyone here who knows why they should not be joined in.
Starting point is 00:34:32 Short. He's short. He's so clearly short. Girl, that's too much. It's college football with AT&T 5G. It's never too much. You're looking very handsome, Tyler, very tall. And so they chose this guy the short getting married.
Starting point is 00:34:52 And I'm like, that's ripping on dudes that are short. No, she's talking about the play. He was short of the first down. Short of the first down. I took a completely different way. It's funny. That's funny, but no. Also, we reject that.
Starting point is 00:35:02 HR says no to that too. Come on Ray. Yeah, he's over two today on HR requests. All right, I think that's all we're going to do today, although this was a pretty long one. Do I want to do a Las Vegas residency? Yeah Like Elvis? Why wouldn't you?
Starting point is 00:35:19 Wow. I don't want to be out there a lot. I know you just live out there. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. I know, I like it. But how long does the residence you have to be? Heck yeah, you'll get the top floor. Okay, you guys, your eyeballs are big in your belly.
Starting point is 00:35:32 No, they'll give you free food. No, no, no, that means... You'll be like Tiesto. Okay. Yeah. How long does a residency have to be? It's like 10, 12, 14 shows. Oh, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow.
Starting point is 00:35:45 But it's a lot of back and forth. No, it doesn't have to be back and forth. We moved the show there. Oh, my gosh. Dude, we get a pad out there with a swimming pool in the desert. Yes. Heck, yeah. Everything's a we.
Starting point is 00:35:58 Like, your family would be all. I don't know. I'd move the kids out there. All right. So we didn't decide. That was a very nonchalant. Like, oh. It's just something, you know, I've been approached about doing a bunch of shows out there and just making it a residency.
Starting point is 00:36:13 Yeah. But I don't think I'm going to do it. it as of now. I have other things. But come tomorrow you might? Maybe. I can be convinced. But I have a couple things that I have focus on for this year.
Starting point is 00:36:25 And I'm trying to make the main things, the main things. And I may do that show because we're probably going to try to do something much bigger. But I don't know that I want to do all the shows in just Vegas. But a lot of people go to Vegas. Absolutely. But maybe I don't know. Maybe I want to do some shows in Texas. Maybe I want to do some shows in Boston.
Starting point is 00:36:49 That would be a tour, right? Yes. But it all... You guys are all so pro it. That's crazy. I don't know how to be the case. Yeah, man. But then I would have to be out there
Starting point is 00:36:57 and have to do the show split from you guys some. No, that would be weird. I don't like that. I don't like that either. We do have to do it some. But... Well, I'll figure it out. What am I mean?
Starting point is 00:37:06 Well, I was just... All the artists that do it, there's got to be so many pros. But the difference is they don't have a job. They don't have a 9 to 5. They can go do that. that's it. Hey, you did Dancing with the Stars. And it sucked and I almost killed myself. That was really hard on you. But you won. I mean, think of that memory. This isn't a competition. Yeah, and the residency is usually on the weekend, right?
Starting point is 00:37:27 Doesn't have to be Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, but it's exhausting going back and forth. I'm just asking a question. Well, now you're talking me out of it. No, Amy, but most people that get to do that, like let's say Luke, Brian, he does one. Miranda does one. They don't have an, although Luke does idle, but, but they get to do spot jobs and tour. We, I have to every day do this crap. I'm going to do a spot show. Remember Garth said I'll only do it if. I don't really have that pull.
Starting point is 00:37:52 Oh, you don't have that. That's what I was thinking, too. I'm not going to give me a plane either. Every day. Or we just move this show to Tuesday, Thursdays. That would be freaking awesome. Wait, what? At 1 p.m.
Starting point is 00:38:01 Yeah, I mean. All right, that's it. We're done for the day. Thank you, guys. Hope you have an awesome, awesome day. Thank you. We're back. We're happy.
