Starting point is 00:03:09 They can't eat because I'm fasting because I have a doctor appointment today and I said, don't eat. We've got to take your blood. And then I went to the low blood sugar stage where I was like, oh, I'm just depleted. And now I'm back at the stage where I'm a little loopy. That's where I'm about to be. The next stage, though, is real bad. Is that hangary? It gets a little angry, yeah. I felt it a little bit. Everybody's like eating their food at once when I walked in. I'm not trying to hide. I'm trying to hide.
Starting point is 00:03:33 Lunchbox was crinkling his paper like extra loud, like playing it like an accordion. So that's where I am right now. It is unfortunate. You know, what would have been more fortunate is if I just went to the doctor this morning and fasted, finger quotes from 9 p.m. and then slept and then woke up. That's what normal people do. And I guess I could have because it's a doctor's appointment. I usually could have said, you know, where I got, do.
Starting point is 00:03:59 You wouldn't say that. However. I didn't say that. But I got to go today and get poked and knee. and a little wrinkle on the day is that I'm working out today with my trainer today at three or whatever and I go right from that to work out. I've had no food and I just gave blood. So I might die. I might die. Just so you guys might know. Well, you're going to need to arrange to eat then. Well, they'll have those snacks when you come out of the blood, right?
Starting point is 00:04:24 It's not the blood center. It's my doctor's office. Oh, it's not the, you're not donating blood. They don't give me one of those little squeasy blood drops. And orange juice at the end. literally going to my doctor's office. But yeah, I'm going to go and then work out and RIP to the BB. That's me. Yeah. Getting a little loopy. That's right.
Starting point is 00:04:43 You know, I've often said that I don't, I'm not a big chiropractor guy. I don't know enough about it. And I think I was just brought up to hear from folks. We're like, I don't know about chiropractor's, man. They don't, they're just cracking stuff and they ain't a doctor. I didn't, I don't know anything about that line of work. And I definitely never went to one growing up. And I think on this show, I've probably said a few times,
Starting point is 00:05:07 I don't know about my carbriarchers. Is that even real? I'm going to tell you, it's real in a good way. It's come from a doctor. That you are. Here's what happened. My right foot has been hurting me for three weeks. And it was getting worse.
Starting point is 00:05:23 And I would rest it and nothing. And I'd work out on it, it'd get worse. I'd run on it, get worse. I'd rest it, wouldn't get any better. And so finally, call this chiropractor we know. She came over. I was like, my foot is killing me.
Starting point is 00:05:36 It has not gotten better. She goes, okay, bibbidi-bobbibbibbibboop. Basically, that's what she did. She did some other stuff. She did some, you know, bending, pushing. It is 90% better. 10 hours later. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:53 Unbelievable. I don't know what kind of black magic they got going over there, but it's awesome. Yeah. And Jordan Davis was in yesterday because we did our 25 whistles episode here and Jordan Davis just comes and sits in as part of the show. He's like three times now.
Starting point is 00:06:04 And Jordan sings by dirt, that song. But he's a big sports guy and Jordan and our friends. And he's like, my bag's killing me. And I was like, well, let me set you up with Black Magic Woman. That's why I gave her the contact. And he gave him the contact and he's going to hit her up. And I guaranteed he'd be fixed. It's amazing, man. I don't know what kind of potions you got going on, but it's awesome. It's not potions. It's like your body, it's all connected. It's an adjustment. Yeah. I'm going potions. And then. My, yeah, I'm going potions. Is there candles and everything?
Starting point is 00:06:34 Nope, but I don't see everything. Maybe outside the house she set them out. But I'm telling you, it is a world of difference in my foot. And so, and then she did this thing. She was, you know, my neck. I didn't even get warned. Oh, she just snapped your neck. Snap is not the term I would use.
Starting point is 00:06:51 But it's like snapping it. It scares me. My wife knew it was going on. And then she was like, hey, let me do this. I was like, oh. And then I was like this. What the? Ooh, I feel so.
Starting point is 00:07:00 It's worth it, right? That's good. So it's not something that I frequent, but I'm going to say, I haven't said this many times. I might have been wrong. Here's the deal, though, you might frequent now,
Starting point is 00:07:14 because when I went to a chiropractor, it was wonderful. And then I stopped going. I'm like, I'm healed, and then I had to go back because that pop in, it kind of needs to be readjusted a lot. Well, with my foot, it wasn't healing.
Starting point is 00:07:26 It didn't just feel weird or out of play. It wasn't like something's not right. My foot was just, it was in so much pain. I was putting toilet paper under the right side of my foot as padding in my shoe. You should have been jelling, man. Because it hurts. If it had been in 1987, I might have been.
Starting point is 00:07:40 You jellin? I'm jelling. You know, I was going through the airport and I saw a chiropractor set up in the airport. Oh, I don't know about that. I'm like, people, if you're going to a chiropractor in the airport, you need to re-evaluate your life. That is too scary. It's just like a little boot. I guess they must have to give me a massage or something.
Starting point is 00:07:55 Yeah. But even then, I really got to be feeling bad, taking a massage in the airport. In Vegas, I saw people getting massages at the tables. Oh, people do that all the time. Oh, that's awesome, man. That's so weird. They've been sitting there long enough that they'll get a massage on their neck or, yeah, that I could feel. They're back. I've seen people do it at the same table as me, but I'm always like, now I'm too cheap.
Starting point is 00:08:14 And I think, do you just tip them? It's like a dollar a minute. Oh, wow. Okay. I didn't know they offered that. Good. Yeah. I think that's what they said, dollar a minute.
Starting point is 00:08:25 But you got to play, Amy. You got to be playing. Yeah, you can't just go stand by a table. It's hilarious. So like they're sitting there just getting, I mean, they're all eyes closed. Oh, my turn. Okay, hit. They fall asleep while they're played.
Starting point is 00:08:37 So that happened. And it feels good. I just want to say that I might have been wrong about this. Good for you, man. It's awesome. It's good to admit. I wrap my foot completely like a mummy on the front part. And then I put padding underneath it in my tennis shoes.
Starting point is 00:08:50 And it wouldn't hurt as bad. But then I couldn't live a life like that. I walked barefoot at home and be like, oh, I can't put my foot down. Then I asked her, I said, hey, what's going on? She goes, I don't know. It could be 10,000 things. She didn't say she could fix it.
Starting point is 00:09:03 She was like, I can try to do what I do. And she's not black magic woman. She's not just a command of any voodoo. She was like, I can try to see if maybe it's, I don't think dislocated was the word, but some thing. Out of alignment? Sure, whatever. And she's like, do, do, do, no, no, no, no, no. And that flames come out.
Starting point is 00:09:20 And then, ah, ooh, God. And then my foot is 85 to 90% better. I just, I cannot believe it. Boston University created an even deadlier strain of COVID. Why would they do that? That's the question most people ask. How stupid are they? I can tell you.
Starting point is 00:09:34 I can tell you. It's going to get out. I'll figure out how to treat it just in case. Boom. That's it. They do this with every disease. Because there are so many deadly diseases that are not out that are sitting in labs in places. No, I get it, but it could get out.
Starting point is 00:09:47 Right. You get one little angry person that goes out there and throws it in the subway. I hear you, but there are 10,000 far deadlier strains of everything than even in this. This is a new story because COVID just happened. But there are things that if you breathe in, you're dead. I mean, did you see the suits these people were in when they were working on it? I'm like, I'm not volunteering for that.
Starting point is 00:10:09 Like, that's why I didn't become a scientist because I ain't doing that. That's why you think. Because it was so easy to you. Yeah. Boston University's catching heat for creating a new strain of COVID that might even be deadlier. They basically took the original virus and gave it Omicron spike protein. It killed 80% of the mice that tested it on. Awesome.
Starting point is 00:10:26 That's exactly what I want to hear. So it's heavy, it's hard. But again, they're creating it not to look and laugh, but to start figuring out how to minimize the damage and then hopefully cure it. But we don't have a cure for COVID now. It's a virus. I mean, because you hear this right here and some thief thinks, oh, you know what?
Starting point is 00:10:44 I'm going to go break in this lab and get it. Yeah, it's not that simple. What do you mean? It's not that simple. In the movies, it is. You can't just go, if that were the case, they would have taken all of these deadly diseases. They're in all these labs around the world.
Starting point is 00:10:53 But you don't know where they are. This one is advertised like, hey, Hey, I'm right here. Austin University. On our show, 36 second spot. They bought advertising. Hey, we made bad. COVID.
Starting point is 00:11:03 Okay. But you don't know which lap, which exact one. Maybe it's not done there. Maybe it's done at an outside lab by the people. I don't know. I just saw and then saw people, rightfully. So we're like, why would they do that? I don't like it.
Starting point is 00:11:14 I don't like it. They do that probably with a lot of things that you don't know. And even some that you do, but they're not as bad on you because they did it, figured it how to fix it, had to minimize the damage, how to cure it. and you take medicine now and it fixes you because they did that with something else. Yeah, I guess I can't travel to Boston. Planning on going up soon.
Starting point is 00:11:33 I was thinking about it. Boy, it's about anti-Boston time for me. Oh, it's too cold. Too cold. Once we hit, mid-October, I love you, Boston. Oh, we love Boston. But it's too cold. Literally one of my favorite cities in the whole America.
Starting point is 00:11:43 Yeah. Nope, no, too cold. I don't know how they do that. It's straight vanilla ice. Too cold. Too cold. Ice. Original iPhone sells for $39,000,
Starting point is 00:11:52 in an auction. Is it on open? Not the main one. Not the one that they created. Not the actual original number one A iPhone. Just an original model. But it was like not touched or something? One bidder is now the owner of a piece of history.
Starting point is 00:12:07 They paid nearly $40,000 for a factory sealed model of the first edition iPhone. The 8 gigabyte smartphone retail for $599 in 2007, but quickly ballooned in price on the auction block among avid collectors. The phone was being advertised exceptional condition for reference. the new one has 128 gigabytes of storage, but this one had, again, if I go back to it. So, 128 gigabytes, and I struggle sometimes with this
Starting point is 00:12:32 comparison here, versus eight, eight gigabytes. What's a gig, though? That's all I think it was like, that's a hundred and twenty less. No, no, no, I get it. I'm just trying to figure what a gigabyte is. What do you mean? It's a size of information. It's a thousand megabytes. Okay, now we're talking.
Starting point is 00:12:48 What I hope. Because you have centimeters, millimeters, right? It's megabytes and then gigabytes. And megabyte. Okay, see. Stop talking. No, that's what. Johnny Depp.
Starting point is 00:12:59 No, no, no. Megapoint. Okay, so digital storage. Mega. Okay. 8,000. Eddie, what do you think it is? I think it's a thousand, a hundred, a million megabytes.
Starting point is 00:13:14 No, no. So, Mike, if I'm correct here, the gigabyte is bigger than the megabyte. Eddie's wrong. No, that's not, no chance. Yes, giga is gigantic. Because what did you say? It's megabytes. And then I want to say like maybe a million
Starting point is 00:13:30 megabytes is one gigabyte. Because in my, in my work here with... One megabyte equals... Oh my, I don't know. See, this is why I started to be confused. I don't know this part. Oh, maybe I'm thinking of gigabyte.
Starting point is 00:13:44 Terabytes. Now, terabyte's a big one. Yeah. Because I think my computer holds a terabyte. Yeah. Yeah, so it's terabyte. Like taranosaurus. That's what I think of it.
Starting point is 00:13:54 Gigabyte. Megabyte. I was right. Tini bite. Widdle bite. You know, even after this, I've forgotten. I don't know. Just know it's Tara's big, gigas smaller, mega smaller.
Starting point is 00:14:08 We got it here. We got it here. So there's one bit, a bit, like 16 bit, and they show it. It's the old graphic like squares. That's like Nintendo. That's bit. Then there's a bite. Like 8 bit, 16 bit.
Starting point is 00:14:20 Yeah, you bit them and then you take a bite. There's a bite. Then there's a kilobite. Yes. Then there's a megabyte. Then gigabyte. Then there's a gigabyte. Then there's a terabyte. And then there's a petabyte. Although I don't like that. That's one. You don't want that on your computer. You know, that's a good one. Yeah, you don't want that. Yeah, you have to go sign up with the government if you get one of those. You got to leave your light off in Halloween. All of a sudden, next thing you know.
Starting point is 00:14:44 Why do they call it that? Okay. America's most dangerous states, according to the FBI. Let's see. Dangerous states? What do you think? If you're thinking about... I mean, I go obviously where the most crime is, like in New York or California. I'm probably Michigan. You got Detroit there. You got Memphis here in Tennessee. We just look at them. Yeah. What are you talking about?
Starting point is 00:15:08 Okay. Number one, Louisiana. Oh, dang. New Orleans. You just said, yeah, and you didn't say anything about it. I didn't get there yet. You hadn't let me name the scary cities. But in your mind, you already said Louisiana? Yeah, I said New Orleans in my head. Violent crimes per 1,000 people. High. Total violent crimes.
Starting point is 00:15:24 High. Murder's. High. High. poverty rate high. So Louisiana, number one. What's Baltimore? Maryland? Number two is Arkansas. Oh, boom. Number three is Alabama. It's the states who are not as economically stable as the others. But let's keep electing the same officials.
Starting point is 00:15:45 Seems to be working. Yeah, let's keep electing the same officials. You're being sarcastic. Yeah. Oh, okay. I was like, why? Come on, y'all. Let's just keep like to the same officials, same kind of officials over and over again. You do the same thing over and over again, but you expect different results.
Starting point is 00:15:58 That's what they say is. Insanity. Insanity. Yeah. What? What? What is that? The definition of insanity.
Starting point is 00:16:04 Einstein said it. Well, if you keep doing the same thing over and over, but you expect different results, that is what they say. It's not the literal definition of insanity. I was like, what? So, but yes. Okay. If you do the same thing over and over and you expect different results, stupid.
Starting point is 00:16:19 Right. That's insane. It's insane to think that. I've done that where I'm trying to fix something and I do the same thing three times. I'm like, well, it's not working. But then you tried all three and it didn't fix itself ever. Right. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:28 Yeah, tried the same way. Like, just different screwdriver. Tennessee at four, Alaska, at five, Missouri, at six. Michigan at seven, Colorado at eight, South Carolina at nine. Oklahoma at 10. Texas at 11. Wow. New York or L.A.?
Starting point is 00:16:41 Not on the most, like the worst lists. Whatever, that's all you hear about. It's all the crime there. Hey, mainstream media. Am I right? Mm-hmm. Am I right? Am I right.
Starting point is 00:16:49 Am I right? Okay. You think there's some sort of conspiracy here? Well, I was wondering if he still likes this, because usually Broadway Friday night at Bridgestone, that's an automatic hookup. We go for pre-drinks and stuff like that. And I look, and there's pictures online,
Starting point is 00:17:07 the local people got the hook up and no Bobby Bone Show people did. I've never gone pre-drinks. Kickoff Kevin was there. Yeah, but he went with the local guy. But I've never done anything like that. And I don't think. Yeah, we didn't even get offered, man.
Starting point is 00:17:20 But I don't, do we? Usually we get an email saying, Hey, always get offered. Oh, always. Any artists? No, we don't go to anything. So they probably give up on us. No, there's no beef there.
Starting point is 00:17:29 Okay. And maybe they did offer to somebody and it just didn't come. I don't know. Scuba did anything happen? Usually, I don't know. No, but I think it's one of those things where they keep asking and everyone's always saying no, so that maybe they're slowly giving up. Yeah, we don't do anything. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:45 Well, the problem is they're always like, hey, you want to go to this awesome show? We're going to travel and go to Kentucky and come back and it's all during the work day. But can you get out of work to go to this? And we're like, no, my dedication is the job. everything else is second. Or they're late at night on a Monday, and we have work the next day. So that's kind of the issue.
Starting point is 00:17:59 Well, Jason Aldeem is a Friday night, right? I don't know. That's one of the rare ones, though. Usually it's Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. No, there's nothing there. And maybe I did get offered. I'm sure if you wanted to go, though, it's no deal you could go.
Starting point is 00:18:11 I just texting them. I'm like, yo, Ray. You know what's interesting about... I say I was coming and the rage puts on glasses and acts like me. What? About a lot of people that I follow on Instagram that were there at the show, it's like I only knew they were at Jason Aldeen
Starting point is 00:18:27 because they all posted when Morgan Wallen came out. That's the only post they put up. I heard that the Morgan Wall and pop was the loudest pop of the night. Yeah. That's tough. Like, yeah, it's tough. I don't have, I'm not secure enough to do that where I would go out and be like, all right, everybody,
Starting point is 00:18:43 want to bring out Andy Sandberg. And they'd be like, oh, my God! And then he leaves and they're like, well, now we're stuck with you again. Forget about your show. I bring out somebody funnier than I. Andy Sandberg's, for you. funny. I know. I'm not secure enough. Jason's secure. He's like, I got so many hits. Who cares? I'll bring out whoever you want. Next up, the Pope. Next up, Abe Lincoln. We brought her back from the dead.
Starting point is 00:19:06 Time travel. And then finally, she's country. Like, yeah, we're back. Hey, we bring Kevin in here real quick. I want to talk to him. Will you turn on the seat mic? Go. And Amy and I have a meeting coming up in a few minutes. So we don't have a ton of time. But I want to bring Kevin in for a second, talk about, because he went to Old Dominion last night. He went to Aldine. He went to Cody Johnson. He's Mr. Music. He's got to be exhausted. He was also younger. Yeah, we sit in the chair over here. But how young? Well, let's talk to him. So this is Kevin O'Connell, aka Kickoff Kevin from 25 whistles, aka he works here on the show, and aka Mr. Music. So last night you went to Old Dominion. I did. How was that? It was awesome. Where? Over at Whiskey Jam, Winners, Losers Midtown.
Starting point is 00:19:49 Oh, so it wasn't an Old Dominion show. No, it was Whiskey Jam. It was... Was it a surprise they were there? No, they announced it on Sunday. Okay, so they play. Why are you a whiskey jam? Don't you wake up early? Because it's Old Dominion. Yeah, I only went for like 45 minutes. How old are you?
Starting point is 00:20:02 31. That's not that young. Yeah, not that young. I was hurting with 31. But wait until you're 41. Oh, yeah, I'm already, I mean, trust me, that's very rare for me to do that, but it's old Dominion. You went to Cody Johnson on a week night, didn't you?
Starting point is 00:20:15 That's Cody Johnson. Okay. Every one of them, he just says who it was. He is newer to town, too. Like, he's been here for what? A year and a half? A little over year and a half. Okay.
Starting point is 00:20:24 So everything is bright and shiny and then it'll start losing its lesser. Yeah, I've never been around this. So you went to Aldine? Yes, last Friday. That was a Friday night. How was that? That was great. He brought out Miranda and Morgan.
Starting point is 00:20:41 When Morgan came out, what would the crowd do? Oh, when nuts. Was it the biggest nuts of the night? Yeah. Yeah, for sure. It's also a surprise, right? Yeah, of course. If somebody's coming out and you know it, you're like, oh, this is crazy.
Starting point is 00:20:52 But if somebody's coming out as awesome and you're surprised at the same time, there's like a, ah! You know, plus. People were talking about it. It was maybe going to happen, but, yeah. Well, when we went to Morgan's show, Jason came out for a song, so he kind of owed it to him if he was in town. It everybody works on a nosy situation.
Starting point is 00:21:08 Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, and it was a good show? It was awesome. Did him and Miranda sing their duet? Yeah, they did. This is I'd start the whiskey. Yes, yes, yes. And they were, yeah, they sing it.
Starting point is 00:21:19 That's the only song they did it together. Morgan did whiskey glasses, and then they did a Jason song together. I can't remember which one. But Morgan did two songs. You have started a new, it's a six episode series over on the Bobbycast Instagram feed. And it's called what? It's called unsigned and independent. And what made you want to do this? Because when I visited Nashville, before I ever moved here a couple of years ago, I was instantly taken back like the talent in this town. I'm from Southern California. We don't have that kind of talent. As far as far as, far as Music League goes in Nashville's Music City. So I just remember going to every bar on Broadway and being like, holy crap, this person's good, this person's good, this person's good, and then I moved out here, and I kept seeing more and more in people that I would meet. And I was like,
Starting point is 00:22:05 why aren't you making it? Why aren't you big for whatever reason? So I was always interested in that story. So episode one is up now. Episode two goes up tomorrow? Next Monday? So episode two goes up next Monday, but Kevin O'Connell, aka Kickoff Kevin. And your Instagram name's Kickoff Kevin. Yes. Do your friends think it's cool that you're doing a sports show now? Oh, yeah, I love it. It's pretty cool.
Starting point is 00:22:25 You do a good job. Thanks. The big executive, whenever I met with him, Kevin Legrette, and he's the guy that orchestrated the draft kings, the first negotiation and the second negotiation, which we ended up doing the show that we're doing now. And I expected him to give us Ray reviews because we've like, what they expected for muscles already, their expectation was high. I was like, we can meet this, but we've doubled it.
Starting point is 00:22:47 We've done one point something million in the first however many episodes. And I thought he was really going to come and just gassed us up good. Be like, man, you guys are all great, killing it. Everybody's amazing. Nope, he said, hey, I kickoff. Kevin's good. All right, got to go. I said, wait, what's the.
Starting point is 00:23:02 Yeah, that's it. What about us? What do you mean? Be jealous, Eddie? What do you mean? A little bit. A little bit. A little bit.
Starting point is 00:23:09 Yes. Not even a little bit, a lot of it. But I understand it. I'm happy for him. If one of those you get, one of them dies. You can fill in. Okay. Oh yeah.
Starting point is 00:23:17 Or COVID. It's possible. I mean. COVID for sure possible. I don't have to die. Well, if you go up near Boston. That'd be interesting if Eddie got sick before, huh? Hey, might want to go to that loud.
Starting point is 00:23:27 He said, huh? Like, he's going to do something to me. Like he's going to do something to you. Okay. And you are still single as a Pringle? No. Now you're not. I'm not.
Starting point is 00:23:37 We just had this conversation two weeks ago on the air. Wait, as of when last night? He got a girlfriend within two weeks. Well, I knew you'd gone out with somebody. Yeah. It's been about a month. month. Oh, secretive.
Starting point is 00:23:48 No, maybe it's just developing. You haven't asked? I mean, kind of. And you weren't here when we were talking about it on the 25 whistles. Maybe I just didn't know is that serious. Yeah. I mean, we're not getting married, Eddie. They're just dating.
Starting point is 00:24:02 They're talking engagement. So you're no longer a Pringle. No, no. How do you tell me? Huh? Are you taking like bacon? Somewhere in between Pringle and bacon? It's taken like bacon as of like a couple days ago.
Starting point is 00:24:15 So you're bacon now. Yeah. Do you all had the talk? Yeah, we had the talk. Who initiated it? I did. Well, not very good with the words, but I kind of brought it up and she's like, you can use her words, you know. You can communicate a little better here.
Starting point is 00:24:28 And I'm like, well, what do you mean? Like, this is me communicating. And you like her? And I like her, yeah. Where's she from? She's from. She's born in Alabama, but lived in Canada for 20 years and moved back here about a year or two ago. And what do you guys have in common?
Starting point is 00:24:41 A lot of things from music to shows, movies. The only thing we don't is sports, which is totally fine with me. And you think she's being legitimate about all the likes that you guys share because once that happened to me where they're like, I love everything you love, and they were lying the whole time. Yeah, because we've watched shows together. We watch movies together so far. Are you laughing or faking laughter?
Starting point is 00:25:00 She's pretty good. If she's faking, she's pretty dang good. Hey, Kevin cooks for her. I have cooked for her. She's cooked for me. You good cook? Yeah, I'm pretty good. I like to cook.
