It's time for the Bobby Bones Post Show.
Here's your host, Bobby Bones.
Arms a little sore today, but not bad.
Eddie came over yesterday and we threw,
we played catch in the backyard, which is kind of funny.
But it's the first time I've thrown since I hurt my shoulder.
And I was kind of hoping, I'll be honest,
that I'd do a little rookie of the year.
You ever see that movie?
Where he hurts his arm, but then he comes back
and has like a bionic arm.
Henry Row and Gardner, and he goes and pitches in the majors
and he's like 12.
Yeah, I'm familiar.
I didn't have it.
It's just a little sore today.
But I should be fairly good to go.
I put a video up on Instagram yesterday
of us playing catch and everybody's an expert
And how people should throw it
Everybody's an expert
Somebody's like
You should start by throwing shorter before you throw long
Hey idiot we did
We just took that video
We didn't say this is the very first throw ever
Anyway that's why I don't read comments
For the most part
Every once in a while I'll dive in
If I'm just feeling like I need to be punished
Really?
Yeah
Like I feel like if I need to be punished
I'm gonna go on to the comments
Because I deserve whatever I'm about to get
Otherwise
Everybody's an expert
So played catch yesterday.
It was fun playing catch, man.
It was.
Me, Eddie, and Eddie's son, who's got a rocket arm.
How is your kid athletic?
What are you talking about?
I mean this in the most loving way.
No, no, no, what do you mean?
Like, I'm athletic.
I just didn't have a present dad who played with,
my dad never played catch with me.
He never, like, threw the football with me.
No, but I mean, just nat.
Your son has natural athleticism.
Yeah, regardless of what's playing.
You're not listening to me.
I'm natural athleticism.
I also have natural athleticism.
athleticism, but I never got the reps, man, because my dad never played with me.
Okay, I don't.
I play with my kids every single day.
But I mean...
Every single day?
Oh my gosh, here we go.
My point is, like, he has a really strong arm to be...
Yeah.
11, 12, 10.
He's 10.
10.
His arm would be comparable to your arm now.
Sure.
But imagine, dude, if I was playing at his age.
I did not.
have a lot of natural athleticism. I had
what I developed
myself where I was a mid to slightly
probably below average athlete, but I was really
good at
strategizing or training or I was doing
everything possible to get the most out of what I had.
It's still not a super good athlete, but
I work hard. Hustle. Yeah, and I would just
work hard to get better all the time. But nobody was present
for me to do that. But I'm just saying your sense of...
Imagine Bobby, though, if someone was
Imagine, dude. Your son is a good athlete. It's just weird to me.
Yeah, I know. I love it. I love it because I really wasn't, and it's cool to like see him do it.
Yeah, it's cool. And just to think like, man, I could have done it if my dad would work.
No, that's not the point I'm making that you could have. It's weird that he's so athletic and you're you.
It's like scuba man. Scoba could have played in the NBA, dude. No, he couldn't have. He's not tall enough. He's not athletic enough.
Hey, he was a step away. Hey, Monks, five and three, Spobloabwe have Dunkin'em.
He won a competition. Sure. That's two people. There's been about four that you can.
a name. But I'm six foot tall. There's a lot of people that are 5-11, 6'1-6-foot-1.
Again, I would say that to be an elite athlete, it's not just about, there's a lot of guys
who are pretty good athletes who work really hard and kill themselves and still can't make it,
because you must have an elite athletic ability just to have a shot, then probably work hard.
But none of us have that. Well, I was close to the tennis. I don't know about that.
No, none of us have. You guys have only known me for like four years. I've lived 34 before that.
You hit you with it. You don't know me.
You don't know me, bro.
The average height of an NBA player is 6'5.
You don't have the size.
And secondly, none of us have the athleticism to have been an elite athlete.
Look at Jeremy Lynn, dude.
He's...
He's extremely athletic.
You're talking about him compared to other NBA players.
But when he was a young kid, he worked really hard at it.
He had the confidence, the support of a family there for now.
And then he developed into a really good athlete.
Exactly.
I could develop too.
And physically.
Jeremy, okay.
You think you could have been a professional athlete.
If I continue the time that I had and if I didn't have,
I didn't have the broken family, I could have pursued it.
A lot of kids are broken families or athletes.
I'd say most.
Yes, I know, but mine, I didn't survive it very well for a lot of reasons.
But if I would have had that support and continue with it,
and I think I could have done it.
I mean, look at Najee Harris.
Didn't Najee grew up in, like, a group home?
Was it Najee Harris?
Steelers running back?
Yeah, play for Alabama.
I don't know his story.
I believe it's nausea hair.
There's a lot of, you know, more tragic situations than yours or mine even.
I do not think you could have been a professional athlete.
I don't know me.
You could have been a bowler, maybe.
That'd be cool.
Okay.
That still would be kind of cool, yeah.
Yeah, but I think bowling is something you just get good at.
I think bowling, you don't really need athletic ability.
You need to put the hours in.
But hand-eye coordination probably helps a little bit, but I think any of us could have been a bowler.
But, like, DNA is crazy that way because, like, professional bowlers probably have, like, dads that were all.
awesome bowlers and grandfathers are awesome bullers.
So they were around it. So they were around it. So they did a lot of bowling.
Yeah.
My grandma managed a bowling alley.
Boom.
Could have been me.
Noggi Harris is from the San Francisco Bay Area.
One of five children of a single mom. He grew up in several troubled neighborhoods,
including time in a homeless shelter when he was in middle school.
So.
Yeah.
Tough.
But you don't have Noges.
Noges huge.
Nogies fast.
Genetically, you are not blessed.
None of us were blessed enough to be a professional athlete.
You're talking maybe at my best.
I probably could have played.
bench on a division two team
and I was a good high school baseball
player but bench on a division two team
but still you would have made it in some way
but then you'd been bench on divisional two
and then you would have worked at it
and you could have grown into becoming
a minor league baseball player and then I worked as hard as I could
okay
there's none
none of us could have been professional
we can have been bowlers okay I'll give you that
yeah I mean I don't
or dart throwers but even that's like
precise hand-eye sure that's enough
and over in the UK like they sell out
arenas for darts
For darts.
Man, how do you see that?
Jumbotron?
Yeah.
But it's like a big drink fest.
But I don't think any of us could have been professional athletes.
Do you think that golfing could be something you learned, like, willing to get better at?
I think I definitely could have been better.
However, the people I know, I'll give you an example.
My friend Andy, Roddick, professional athlete, different.
Everything about him is different.
His body's different.
He's huge.
His anti-coordination is next level, like since he was a young team.
And so I played golf a little before.
for him. Then he started playing golf.
And I'm not good
of golf, but I'm fine.
He started playing, and like four months into it,
he was already like a three handicap.
Professional athletes genetically,
unless you're a bowler, are built
way different. Why are different? Everything's different.
They have a special skill set. And he started hitting
the golf weights at 10 million miles, and
he's super precise because he has
crazy hand-eye coordination. But golfing
is the one sport where, like,
anyone could get better at it, I believe.
You can get better, but not professional.
Really?
I don't think so.
Look at the best players.
They're all big guys, or they're small guys.
Small tiny guys.
That have an extreme amount of,
I don't want to keep saying the word athletic ability,
but an ability to, like, use certain parts of their body
at an extremely high level.
Like, their core, their body.
There's some guys that look way out of shape that don't have a core.
Well, back in the day, Goose Gosses just a pitch for the Cubs, you know?
I'm saying, he still throw, but, you know,
David Wells, you know, kind of big guy.
I mean, the babe, man, he wasn't, you know, skinny.
But you don't have to be skinny.
Sometimes you can be really athletic and also allow yourself to be a little chivalvy.
He would just swing for the fences.
Look at linemen.
But they're so athletic.
They're so athletic.
They look huge in fact because they're 300 pounds, but they can move their feet.
I mean, it's unreal.
Where they got to put their hands, how quick.
Regardless, we all like sports.
None of us.
None of us have the genetics or bill.
to have been a professional athlete
unless it's a bowler.
Question for you.
So on the NBA pregame, like last week
before one of the games,
they were talking to Stephen A. Smith,
who's an announcer,
and they said if they gave him 99 points
and you're playing to 100 against LeBron,
would you win?
Do you think you could beat LeBron?
Not if he was really trying.
What do you mean?
Exactly.
You can score.
You can just shoot one three.
But LeBron could guard.
He's faster than you, he's bigger than you.
You wouldn't get a shot off.
You would never get a shot off if he didn't want you to get a shot off.
I bet I can score one basket on.
You would never be able to.
One basket.
Again, with Andy,
serve. Just get lucky.
You don't understand how quick they are. He could have served 10,000
balls at me. I would have never hit one of them.
Never. I never had a chance.
So no. No.
He's quicker, bigger, faster, stronger.
Everything about him, and only
100, maybe to 10,000, if he gets tired
and goes to get a drink water in your...
You just cheat a little bit? Yeah.
Yeah, no chance.
Anyway, all that to say.
That's fun, man.
I don't have a bionic arm, which sucks.
Oh.
No Harry, Henry,
Berman Gardner. Wait, does Schubert even play
high school ball? Like, did he play? No man.
Brogan home, you had to move. No confidence.
I didn't have confidence in myself. If I can
take what I have now as a human
and put it in me at 15-16,
I'd be a completely different person. You might have got
to play in a division three. What sport, though?
Basketball. You're not big enough. Basketball or baseball.
But you never played baseball, did you? I did. I played baseball for a couple
seasons as a kid. Till what age? Till about
nine, and then I turned into the baseball.
announcer.
That's fun.
You found your calling.
It actually was my calling, yeah.
Is your son good?
My son is fantastic.
He's really, really, he has a lot of confidence.
But how old is he?
He is six.
And he's really, really good.
At both.
I don't feel like the best six-year-olds often turn into the best 22-year-olds.
That's correct.
Sometimes the best six-year-old is only the best because where their birthday falls,
because they have a nine-month advantage.
And at that young, nine months is...
Age is huge.
Nine months is, you know,
a seventh of their entire life.
They have that advantage.
It doesn't matter.
I'm not even hating on me too.
None of us could have been professional athletes.
None.
If anything, the only person who probably had a shot to even do anything collegially,
maybe if they had like small, small class wrestling would have been Ray.
Now, I could have run in college, but it would have been a small school.
No, I really could have.
I ran a 426 mile.
I was good enough to run at a small school.
Shut up.
And I think I could have played Division II baseball.
Right.
That's what I'm saying.
But that's not professional.
It's not professional.
He was not saying.
I can never been an Olympian, but if I wanted to go to a small school and a small town and run track or cross country, I probably could have, but I wasn't going to the Olympics.
And I would agree. Well, not the Olympics. I'd agree. Yes, you could have. And I think I could have played at a small school playing baseball. But why? I mean, I loved it, but I was ready to get this business baby. I was ready to find you guys.
I was ready to be on the real world. Yeah, let's go. I was right to party in college.
But Scoobbeth thinks it could have been a professional athlete. Great. That's great.
Does that make him sad, though?
I don't want that to make him sad.
No, not at all.
I mean, in the moment back then...
But he couldn't have been!
Back then, it got me a little sad because of what I had to deal with.
But now, looking back on it, I don't have any regrets on life.
Do you feel that naturally you're a better athlete than lunchbox?
Yes.
Okay, I would say no.
Do you feel like you're naturally a better athlete than Ray?
Depending on what we're doing, yes.
Just a natural athlete, it doesn't matter what we're doing.
I'm not a rest of him about a month ago, I creamed him.
But if we gave you 10 sports and you...
you were to play Ray in 10 sports, we pulled out of a hat.
Okay.
Do you think you can win six or seven against Ray?
If you gave me a month to get in better shape, yes.
No, no, no, just athletic.
Because some of them may not be in shape.
Some of them may be darts.
Okay, then yes.
You think you're a better athlete than Ray.
What about me?
You're competitive and you scare me sometimes because I play basketball with you one time,
and you intimidate me and make me go back to being an insecure person.
No confidence.
You intimidate them.
I do like this scuba has, because I can't, we can't prove them wrong.
We literally can't prove him wrong.
Do you know how many kids out there, I mean, or how many adults out there say, man, I could have been a professional athlete.
I could have been a professional athlete.
Sounds like a lot of men.
Yeah.
Heck, my father-in-law tells me that.
No doubt.
No doubt.
My mind, coach, you'd put me into the fourth quarter.
We'd have been a state champion.
No, no doubt.
Your father-in-law says that you could have.
No, he could have.
If he was four inches tall, he's like, I'd have been in the NBA.
Yeah.
I mean, he played baseball at the University of Florida, so he was athletic.
Well, that's, well, yeah.
But anybody could have went if I were 20 pounds heavier, four-hs a taller.
And that's what I mean by saying.
But he played college baseball.
Like that's great.
But he still didn't even get a sniff of the minors.
Like he wasn't good enough.
Gave up.
No.
No.
Didn't keep trying, dude.
I don't.
I'm happy that you have this feeling about yourself because that is extremely positive and I like that.
From like macro, I think it's great.
Micro, you're an idiot.
He'll only get any of us have a chance to be pro.
Do you think lunchbox is more athletic than Scooplin?
Yeah.
That's pretty incredible you think that.
He probably can out rummy because he's not.
He's got his arms.
Hold on.
If I were, if you, let me just pick some sports.
If we were going to have a softball team, I'd draft lunchbox before I drive scuba.
Wow.
He can't move his arm.
And still he's better.
What does that tell you about the arm?
I'm just kidding about that part.
But, okay, let me think.
If we're playing basketball.
He can't guard you, man.
I would draft a lunchbox over Scoob, but he can run like a deer.
Then forget, Ray, then let's view me versus lunchbox.
I'm not making it a competition because Lunchbox didn't ask for that competition.
You ask me what I picked.
Yeah, but Lunchbox is a competitive kind of guy.
What do you think, Lunchbox?
Hold on.
Let me finish my deal here.
Give me a sport.
Just pick something.
Amy, go.
Wiffleball.
Soccer.
Well, in lunchbox,
I kill Scoot.
That's like a specialty.
He still plays soccer.
Hockey.
Oh.
Yeah.
Pretty close because I don't know
that either one of them
know how to ice skate,
but if it were like,
give them six hours,
I'd probably still take lunchbox.
I think lunchbox is more agile.
Like, probably Scoob and lacrosse.
That's physical.
Like, Scoobba is going to.
Tennis.
Lunchbox.
But I don't know.
Volleyball.
I'm just picking.
Volleyball.
Beach.
The arm thing would get lunchbox in the, in volleyball maybe.
Hand basketball, man.
I would take lunchbox over scuba because one,
lunchbox can run.
That's a big part of athleticism.
And they shoot about the same.
Okay.
And I don't have to shoot, I can just pass it.
What if it did like an elementary school field day?
And it's like all things they did like in fifth grade where it's like track and it's pullups and red rober.
Red rover, red rover.
Duck, duck, goose.
They're running after like lunchbox is like that.
Like that would be fun.
I think that would be fun for me.
to be a part. That would be fun to do a field day
and just record it. It's kind of cool.
Everyone gets ribbons. No, they don't
do ribbons anymore, man. They don't?
No, everybody gets the same thing. There's no
first place, second thing. We're not doing that. We're doing 90th style.
What is in...
90s style?
What is in...
The three-legged race or the wheelbarrel race?
Potato sack. Where you'd hold someone's legs and they'd crawl.
And we have to do teams, though. What if we did...
What if we created our own
mutually agreed upon?
why are you shaking your head?
No, because I know how this stuff goes
and I know how I get.
That's it. I'm just telling you.
Okay, then what if we just do you versus scuba?
I mean, I'm just how I get.
I like it. You know what I'm saying? Like, I am like...
I don't know how to get that way with me because I'll get right back at you.
No, we should match it up with the Olympics
and everybody should be involved.
The Olympic sports, though, are kind of...
Not Olympics. It'll be our own. We pick our own sports.
I was like, I can't swim.
I feel day.
So, okay, this is just...
I think Scoobo versus lunch would get boring.
No way, man.
I think it would be awesome
because what would happen is we'd know exactly.
Okay, hold on.
Here's what we should do.
Both are good.
Scoobah versus Lunchboxes.
But Lunchbox never declared
that he wanted to beat Scoot.
But he's still, lunchbox, if you asked him.
I agree, but this was never his thing
to where he's like, I agree, he would want to win.
Yeah.
But I know how I get, so I'm trying to.
Swimming.
Why don't I get?
I hate me, too.
I'm trying to be smart about it.
I'm trying to be.
Can we do MMA?
Three rounds.
Okay.
We should do...
Because, like, everybody's...
Maybe everybody picks one sport themselves.
Ooh, I like it.
Because, like, lunchbox will dominate all of us
in any sort of running.
Like, there's no doubt in my mind.
Not sprinting.
Maybe.
I've beat him in spring.
Yeah, he beat me in the hundred,
but I'll beat you in a half mile, mile.
But he could pick anything.
Cool.
I'll pick the sprint.
You picked the half mile.
Oh, are you going to be in two, Ray?
Yeah, I just won't even run the half mile.
but you'll beat him in the sprint. Right, I'll beat him in the sprint.
Right, but you'll get no points. And it have to be if there's five of us, if you win it, you get five points, four points.
Or, you know, it'd be like that.
So we're just spitballing right now.
I like that. I'm not even committing to it.
But lunchbox, what would you pick if you were picking an event?
Don't say 26 miles. Like, do something that you feel like you would win, but also it's not going to take all day.
Oh, a mile run would probably be, or a game of soccer or whatever.
What about the bench press?
Well, soccer, though, you can't do one-on-one.
Yeah, you can't really do one-on-one.
Did you do like free kicks?
No, that's kind of...
So would you say the mile?
Yeah.
Okay, lunchbox picks the mile.
Okay?
If I was picking some.
You win that.
But we'd all play because there's points involved if you finish...
Mike D's playing too?
We probably need Mike to be the judge
because he's the only person I trust.
I think he's the only person that can beat him in the mile.
I don't know.
He can run far, but I don't know if he could run faster.
Yeah.
I think he could run lunchbox and beat him in distance.
Mike runs 20 miles a weekend.
Yeah, right.
He's been training for five years.
Six years.
But again, hold on.
It's us idiots here who are yelling about athletic ability.
Oh, no girls?
The Olympics, guys and girls don't compete.
They can have their own version.
Got it.
I'm good.
They do only shop for it.
We're back to 90s.
Got it.
So lunchbox picks the mile.
This is not in stone.
Okay, we're just spitballing here.
Lunchbox picks the mile.
Eddie, what would you pick?
Golf.
But that's going to be difficult.
We got to pay money.
We got to go to a golf course.
No, we can go to a driving range and do a chip challenge.
And then Mike's going to go out there and stand by.
And like, it's got to be something kind of easy.
No, interesting. Interesting that he picks golf
because there's a chance he could lose that.
You would want to pick an event that you are sure you're going to get five points.
That is interesting.
I don't think I have an event.
I'm sure I'm going to get five points.
Like, I don't have that event.
What is that?
I think bench press.
I don't, but is.
Who here can bench the most?
Hold on.
Let's go to Eddie first.
Golf.
It can be whatever you want.
We can go to the driving range.
That could be an event.
I want that.
You want golf.
Yes.
What does that mean for you?
Like, what do you mean at the driving range?
Shipping contest.
Pick a flag and whoever's closest to the flag.
So you get like five shots?
Sure.
And Mike has to be the judge.
Perfect.
Okay, so we'll do golf, chipping range.
Nothing in stone.
Who knows?
We may not even be committed to this.
This whole bit, okay?
Maybe swimming.
I think I can out swim you.
Yeah, probably.
And you have a pool.
You've been training.
Women's tough, man.
Ray.
Yeah.
Somebody drowns.
I would say pickleball,
because these guys all.
suck, but you could beat me at that.
I'm probably going to have to pick one. I might get four points and not
five. So, I don't know that I have one.
I can definitely win, but if you want to pickleball,
I still think you'd be. I'm playing. I don't have
to learn the rules. Go ahead. Whatever you want
to be. Other ones were baseball-based.
I would say home run derby, you would be the only
one that could even come close to beating me.
Eddie's got a pretty good swing. I'll be honest.
I'm not worried about that. Okay. And then
David Busters has a speed gun where you can
pitch, so fastest pitch.
It's over. I think we'd hurt herself at that one.
It's a blast. I like home run derby because there's a
small fill that we can go to that makes it and it's a good video yes and so i mean if you don't hit a home
run like what no point like how does that work no points you get like 10 balls oh boy we can all get
zeros there is there a is there a pitching machine because i mean it has to be a constant you could pick
your person you can pick your person and you don't have to swing at it you don't have to swing at the
ball if you don't want to but i pick your person that you that wants you to throw for them right i mean
there's definitely i think i think of your suggestions will be easiest
for us to do it be HomeRoy Derby unless you don't feel good about it.
With all that said, I think I'm going to go with
beer pong.
Interesting.
I don't know how to play, but okay, that's fine.
What do you do?
You just throw a ping pong ball at cups at the other end of the table.
I like it. It's funny.
Isn't that like luck, though?
But nobody has to drink anything, right?
No, it's not luck. You can be good at it.
No drinking.
I like, okay, I like beer pong.
No drinking.
Ray picks.
After a homeowner, you go to beer pong?
Wasn't even one of his options.
Okay, I like it. Beer Pong.
Scuba?
The one thing I'm confident with
would be the long jump.
What in the world?
I like it.
You guys want track and field type stuff?
Well, nobody else.
We want track and field type stuff.
What about basketball, man?
I like that.
No, that's funny.
We're going to do it, though.
Could you be in charge of finding where we're going to do the long jump?
I can tell like a high school or something and find where we can use their sand pit to do it.
Hey, Spud Webb, you don't want to do free throws or anything?
Dude, I said long jump.
He did say long jump.
And that's hilarious.
But also he was like, you guys want to do track and field.
I never said that.
He's the one that said, him and Ray said Olympics.
But that's hilarious.
Long jump is really funny.
I want it to be a good, funny bit.
No idea.
I like the slummo of us jumping and then you get the camera angle underneath it.
Scuba picks long jump.
Okay.
Because you got to land on that board.
If you don't land on that board, you go over, you're disqualified.
I think Bobby's got us on that one.
I don't know that I do.
And secondly, I don't have a thing that I think I can for sure beat all of you guys in.
No, but he has to, if you.
And then it won't be the standing long jump.
I mean, yeah, I can do binge press.
That's good.
We can do the running long drum.
I'll do bench press.
Thanks, Amy.
You're welcome.
Scuba has a...
Ray has a shot.
I thought it beat me in that too.
Yeah, he could.
Ray's stronger than I am,
and his arms aren't as long.
And you got the rotator cuff.
That's true, too.
But I didn't know.
Ray, are you training right now, though?
It doesn't matter.
Ray's just stronger.
Oh.
I mean, I'm not benching
to win this contest,
so I would say no.
But I still think...
And it would be a max contest?
Yeah, it'd be one max.
Or we could do 135 and do
how many reps like they do in the NFL Combine,
which would probably be better to not tear a arm.
That is so, I'm still thinking about the long jump.
I'm going to do, I'm going to do NFL Combine-style bench press.
Great idea, Amy.
But we're not going to do max one rep.
We're going to do one-third.
Are we doing all this in one day?
No, no, no, no.
No chance.
We would die.
Not kind of like it better one day for me.
We start with bench press.
We can't do anything else.
I mean, if we could all line it up in a day, that's a hilarious day to shoot.
Shoot. Okay, so hold on. L.B. No, no, me.
Me, I'm going to do. It's going to be NFL Combine-style bench press, which is not one set max where we tear our arms out.
It's one plate. How many reps can you get? Good? Okay.
One, two, three. We have five.
Nobody chose ping pong.
We need, well, we need probably two to three more that are universally agreed upon.
Pop a shot. Two-mile run.
Pop.
Oh.
Max bench press
shuffleboard
Hey Papa shot's good
Cornhole
Which one is the one at the ball
You slide it
Yeah okay
They had a great idea
The small basketball
The Papa shot
Oh like
A David Buster's
Mini hoop
Yeah
Oh yeah
Love it
Oh Ray's really good at that
He plays that a lot
Of the bar
Trivia
No
No
What?
No
napping
Okay
Okay
Okay
We need to vote
Four to five
For a yes
Do we do pop a shot
I like it
Who can put their
C pat machine
On the Vazzoz
Exactly
Yes. Who's got more hemorrho cream in their house?
Go. Pop a shot, yes. I go yes.
Yes. Yeah, that's fine. I'll try.
Okay. You've never played it?
No, I have, but I'm playing it a long time. I'm just saying Ray, hey, Ray had the record at Paradise Park.
Really?
Pop a shot.
I lost his watch, man.
Gambling?
You gambled a pop a shot and lost your watch?
To who?
What? Some dude from New York.
Did he hustle you?
No, I would usually hustled people.
but the dude was with his chick and he was real good.
She was there. She said, come on, honey. You got this boy. Get him.
Why did you wager your watch and when did that come up?
I didn't have any cash and he had $20 and I was like, well, he's not going to beat me.
Nobody's really ever beat me. So I said, I got a watch on.
How did it come up? Was he like, yo, you want to play for some...
Always. If you're at the bar doing Papa Shot, there's always bros that come up and say, hey, want to shoot for drinks?
Hey, you want to shoot for $20? Well, I didn't have any cash. So I said, I'll play for my watch. And he beat me.
I've never once had somebody come up and tried to challenge me for money.
For your watch.
You've never been to a bar with guys are drinking.
I guess not.
Some guy gets up, you're going to pop a shot for pinks?
That's crazy, man.
For a car?
Yeah, man.
Was it a nice watch?
A couple hundred.
You wagered a $200 watch versus $20?
That alone, you should have lost.
It just didn't have any money on me and I wanted to gamble.
You didn't have a tab open at the bar?
You didn't have credit.
Well, I mean, we were friends with the bartenders.
One, two, three.
Okay.
Popper shot, we need one more.
Tung a more.
Not single person.
You could do like his initial.
And honestly, I don't love beer pong.
It's not, it's going to take too long.
It's a tournament.
Okay, do you want to pull beer pong
but pop shot as yours?
Yeah, that's fair.
Yeah, beer pong would take a long time.
Yeah, I have no idea.
I never played.
We basically need two more.
Morgan, Amy, can you guys think of anything else
that we can do that's fun or funny?
Ski ball.
Bird bingo.
Ski ball is kind of, bird watching.
That's too much like pop a shot, though it feels like.
Like, okay, Mike suggested like horse
and basketball.
One of us really play basketball.
Wackamol.
Well, too many games.
I don't want to go back and do any more games.
You can do all that at Chuck and Cheese.
I know.
We do a Chuckie Cheese Olympics?
One stop shot.
No horse?
What about the sack race?
That's like old school.
You need two, right?
No, that's three-legged.
I like that.
You're each and a sack and you race each other.
That's when you hop up and down to hop.
That's kind of athleticism.
Monkey bars.
Can anybody here do that?
I can't.
I know what I don't.
Monkey bar just
Like we look at just sports
Like a competitive sports
Just in general
What about
Because like darts is funny
Because none of us play darts
But we don't
It's not dark
But there's probably a lot
What about a shooting range?
Like operation
Like the board game
Or connect four
You guys mentioned bowling
Oh I'm not doing bowling
Because lunchbox is too good
He is
Don't be an idiot
Don't walk into the trap
Rock wall climbing
That's funny
That's hard
No that's so hard
I suck at it
But that's funny
Not to it
Or who gets
Been to it
Yeah I want
What about archery? I wouldn't let go.
Oh, archery. So scared. No, I got to like three quarters.
You got a bone arrow? I don't know. I let go.
There's only like one rope holding you.
Oh, yeah, that's scary.
I mean, I have no idea what else. There's a curling place in town.
Hulu hoops?
We may have a bunch of zeros on that one.
Yeah, I'd get a zero. Okay, so there is.
Oh, wow, I can. I'll do Hulu hooping.
That's the one you...
Because curling, you need a team. Is that right? Oh, yeah, you do.
You need a scraper.
You work.
Hinned the tail on the donkey?
Let me, let's take a med roll here.
Oh, my gosh.
Let's take a middle here.
Hold on, hold on, here we go.
A win is a win.
A win is a win.
I don't care which I'm saying.

I went and sat on the little ottoman
in front of him.
Hi, dad.
And just when I said that,
my mom comes out of the kitchen.
She says,
I have some cookies and milk.
This is a badass convict.
Right.
Just finished five years.
I'm going to have cookies and milk at him.
Yeah.

Okay.
Do hit that
A Phil day
Like I think rock climbing is hilarious
But I'm so
I've only ever done it once
And like I told Amy
I got scared and didn't want to let go
Because you have a rope
Just one thing
But
Scooter race
Rick get hurt
Oh God
I like that right
Where you get to race to a certain spot
You start and everybody go
What about like an football accuracy throw
Or some kind
Like they do when the targets move or whatever
We don't have the targets moving, but I think about those games the NFL players play when they used to do.
I guess they do it now with the Pro Bowl.
Do we want to try swimming?
No.
Well, I'll drown.
I mean, drown? Why would you drown?
Because I'm not very good to swim.
They're not very good to swim.
They're not.
They don't say yes.
If you feel like you're just not good or something, don't say yes.
Yeah, yeah, that's why I said.
What do you mean?
I would have said no to bench press.
But I got to pick that one.
We're picking the universal one here.
Okay, okay.
So you can override it.
Dizzy bats's hilarious.
Oh, my gosh.
Put your nose on the bat and spin.
And then what do you do?
You try to hit a ball?
It's a race.
Oh, then you run.
But the problem with that is the person, what I would do to cheat is I wouldn't spin around as fast as you guys.
I would act like I was and be like, oh, then I would be like, oh, then I would be like, I'm so dizzy.
But I just haul back.
Well, don't cheat.
What if you have to spin a certain amount of times.
I know about how I would try to cheat the game.
Can you be honest and not cheat?
No.
I'm trying to win.
Hey, we got to do pickleball.
How are we not doing the most popular sport in America?
Eddie's played once ever.
I've played twice ever.
I would win.
I mean, you'd be the favorite,
but I think you'd be competitive with everybody.
And it's a point-based.
Yeah, but you're just giving him five points if you know he's going to win.
I agree.
I think I'm, I think,
yeah, I think I would win that one pretty easily.
What about bags?
Beanbag toss?
Yeah, cornhole.
That's kind of fair.
I mean, I'd be up to do that as an extra.
I suck at it.
So if anybody else sucks, just say no, and we'll go no.
I'm so bad at.
at it but I would pick it because man what about the one is anybody good at
Cornhole no scuba's good hey you know who's not good me chase oh yeah I remember
he flipped everybody off right we need two we need two sports we have the mile
the chipping range we're running a mile oh the lunchboxes did y'all say y'all we're
talking about somebody else you don't have to run yeah I'll take zero on that one yeah you
I got like a 100 meter race, like a quick sprint.
Well, he gets to pick.
Oh, what about axe throwing?
Hold on, hold on.
We already declared this, but you two can race to who last the longest, who quits first.
You can walk the mile and get the point.
You can walk the mile, but if you're last, you get the point.
But if you don't finish, you get zero.
Right.
But you can walk faster than Ray and get two points.
Sure.
I like the point system because there's motivation to not finish last.
Right, right.
Yeah, and there's motivation to do it.
Yeah.
Even to get one or two.
And the mile's not bad.
Four times around a track.
You're good.
And you guys don't want to do...
I was just saying like 40-year-old grown men
We're all out there running.
That's why all this...
I mean, do all of these sports.
40-year-old men.
Guys, the funniest one is the long jump.
Do you understand how hard...
The long jump is really hard.
I'm never a long jump to my life.
That's been hilarious.
Dude, it's going to be great.
It's a running long jump.
You can run to it and then jumps.
Right, right.
And you don't want to do...
Pole vault?
Football.
Like, like, target throwing with football.
I love that.
I'm down with football.
I mean, anything football is great.
Like, it's great.
And throw footballs at targets.
Or field goal challenge.
You don't want to do field goal challenge.
I'll do a field goal challenge.
I'm out of field goal challenge.
I've done it too many times.
I know I'm terrible.
What about the monkey bar hold?
No.
We have to hold the monkey on the monkey bar and I think it's like 30 seconds.
Like the longest?
The longest.
Yeah, the longest to hold on.
That's interesting.
That's funny.
Yeah, it's a hold like this.
Well, it's just hold, period.
Yeah, just hold, yeah.
Yeah, you eventually going to drop a little bit.
Yeah, yeah.
It's literally just a hole.
But how would we find monkey bars long enough, high enough?
There's a park by my house.
Almost any playground, yeah.
That holds longer.
I mean, you'd have to bend your knees, right?
Just imagine we bombard like a playground with kids all there playing,
and we're like, no, we've got to do this, dude.
Now I want to see y'all like.
I don't mind the monkey bar hang.
Just because it's funny, I think we're all probably unknowingly equal.
I'm sure some of us are better than others at this.
But it can come down to a second.
Right.
Yeah.
Do you guys want to do monkey bar hang?
I guess that's fine.
That's a stopwatch, so it's nice.
I don't like that one.
Well, come on.
Oh, your shoulders.
Yeah, I don't like the mouth.
Well, he physically is shoulder.
He has a medical.
reason he can't do the much of the money yeah but i can do it it's gonna hurt like i mean i mean just
hold him that's your choice he was born this way yeah he's a trade lady gaga right now i think he's
faking that whole thing no man oh it's horrible he's been faking for a long time then
boxing okay what if we do football target challenge box we put targets out there they don't
move and you get points for knocking them like them like to trash cans yeah trash can i like it or
okay we'll build that okay so we're gonna focus i feel like we're all equal
from right now on that.
There's nobody that's such a good thrower.
Good on that one?
Okay, we need one more that we can all agree on.
Boxing.
No, I'm going to kill you.
Chopping wood.
Oh, yes.
Amy like cleaning my house.
What do they do?
Where they climb up the pole,
the outdoor games,
where the guys, the...
Oh, like, yeah, yeah, yeah.
You climb up the pole, like the wooden pole
with the spikes and the band.
Yes.
Will you type in Summer Olympics
All Summer Olympics sports?
Hey, she's on to something.
What about like, what's the big man competition?
But that's like bench press.
No, no, no, no, they like move tires.
Tires flipping?
That's a strange.
Or they pool a car?
World Strongest Man type of thing.
Yeah.
We pull a big truck.
We pull Scuba's truck.
But again, I think that's not going to move.
That's just straight.
Oh, yeah, what I can move a truck.
You put it in neutral.
What?
Oh, you know, it's all, it's not in park.
Oh.
Strongest man.
They don't pull a truck.
up in park, but they pull airplanes.
Okay, well.
Let's see.
Let's do it.
Basketball, handball, fencing, rowing, breaking.
Volleyball, badminton, boxing,
rugby, soccer, sailing, sport climbing.
Amy, I like catching a fish.
Archery.
What about flipping a tire?
That's a strength thing.
I mean, we could definitely do that,
but I don't know that everybody wants to do a pure strength thing.
Home run derby.
I think home and derby's fine, too.
Yeah.
Oh, did we not do that?
What's that?
No, because Ray picked.
Ray said, Home and Derby, let's do beer pong.
Yeah, you're right.
I like Home Run Derby.
Okay.
So here's the events.
We're going to make the rules here, too.
Home run.
The seven events are the one mile run, as given by lunchbox.
Eddie, the golf chipping challenge.
Could you mind?
Would you rather do a golf chipping or, like, a miniature golf?
Minature golf would be more, would be funnier.
and if we played a tournament, like a 1-18 round tournament.
Right.
With, that's funny.
I'm down to change it to that.
That's what we want to do.
Mini-golf.
One-18-hole tournament, right?
Perfect.
Okay.
Lunchbox, one mile.
Eddie mini-golf tournament.
Scova, long jump.
Me, NFL Combine-style bench press, not max,
but it's reps on not the heaviest of weight.
Ray Popp a shot basketball.
And universally, we've selected home run derby.
We'll find a small baseball field and a football throwing contest.
Targets, not distance.
Cool.
The point system, there's five of us.
The point system will be.
If you finish, you get a point.
That's it.
Last place.
First place gets five.
Second place gets four.
Third place gets three.
Second place gets two.
Last place.
Sorry.
First place.
It's opposite.
Hold on.
Five points first.
Four second.
three third all the way down.
The only reason you get zero is if you don't finish an event.
Okay?
At the end of one, two, three, four, five, six, seven events, we will have a champion.
And they will be deemed the most athletic member of the volleyball phone show.
Scoob, I need you full of confidence, so we don't hear any excuses.
I'm fully confident.
Okay.
Yeah, I'm just looking over it.
This will be more fun than anything.
Sure, I will.
And this person, whoever wins the whole thing, could for the rest of their life, say,
If I could go back, I probably could have gone pro.
So you're saying the winner of this.
Okay, great, great win.
So. They can always say it.
The winner of this gets to say I could have been an elite athlete.
Everybody else on the show has to agree.
Publicly, publicly, even on the air.
Now I'm officially in.
Yeah.
Okay.
We'll figure out all the rule.
This is maybe the most fun thing we've ever done in the history of the show.
You know, the girls love it.
Well, Amy did come up with.
Yeah, I don't mind being a part of it in this way.
What way?
Pass out orange slices and like hang out.
Creatively.
Coming up with things, watching y'all, supporting y'all.
Okay, so we'll have to figure out when we're going to do stuff, but I feel pretty good about it.
We'll try to get it done in the next three months.
Overall, everything.
I know we have like vacation and July.
There's stuff happening, right?
Yeah.
But we'll get it all figured out and we'll keep track on air of the points.
Lunch, are you currently in the four minute range?
Your fives, though.
No, I'm not in the four minute range.
Okay, that was high school.
Just checking.
Where are you at now?
I don't know. I haven't time myself in a mile for a while.
I've not run a mile.
I don't know about this one.
Yeah, he'll dominate that one.
I'm just holding up for four points on that one.
Oh, who do you dig the race for a second?
Yeah, it has to be Bobby.
Bobby will get second.
I don't think.
Well, Ray may you get, oh, Ray will quit, though.
My cardio's getting better, so maybe I'd get third.
Oh.
Yeah.
The long jump, no idea who the favorite is, even though the scuba's event,
even though he says it's probably him.
Pop a shot. I guess I've raised so good. That sucks.
I'm sneaky good at pop a shot.
Are you? Yeah, you beat me at UT in their football facility.
Yep.
Football throwing, target? No idea.
I think it's wide open.
Can you throw a football lunch?
Yeah.
Home run derby? I think it's wide open.
Dude, we can all get zeros on that. Like really?
We got to find a field, though, that we can put it out of.
Like a little league field?
Yeah. Oh, yeah. It has to be a little league field.
We can't go play on it.
There's one by our house.
We'll all get zeros.
We want to go play on a
200
No, because they're like softball fields
That are harder
I mean you can do the sounds
Where we do it from the pitch and mound
Or second base
You wouldn't hit it out
We should just find a kids field
We should just find a kid's field
We can roll up to it in an afternoon
Okay
If you can't hit it out from second base
Something's wrong
I do
I don't think a lot
I think a lot of people won't hit it out
You can very easily
I mean Scoobut thought
He was going to hit the softball
Out of the Sound Stadium
That's different
And it's a softball too
Exactly.
Yeah.
Okay.
This was a heck of a post show, boys, I must say.
It's fun, man.
I enjoyed coming up with this.
We'll find out what's up.
And good luck.
Good luck to all of you.
Yeah, good luck.
Are you going to do the TikTok story real quick, Mike?
You did give it to me?
Oh, man.
Did you throw it away?
I don't know.
I was writing on all kinds of stuff here.
Oh, I have it here.
I wrote it all on back on this page.
Now I can't really read it because I wrote all on it.
Okay.
How much TikTokers get paid to do their posts?
The number one TikToker is still the
Cobby Lane. How he say his name?
Is that it? Cabi lame? He's the guy who's quiet
and just like points and stuff and has life hacks.
I don't think I've seen him.
Yeah, I'm positive.
Really? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
He makes up to $750,000 bucks a video.
Wow.
Has the net worth of $15 million and 162 million followers.
Now, has he diversified his portfolio?
Because what happens when TikTok goes bye-bye?
He doesn't need...
TikTok's not going by-bye.
It'll get sold to somebody else.
States. It'll never just be gone. But
he also has, because of
his fame on TikTok, he has
81 million Instagram followers.
There you go.
81 million.
I think he's also a
streamer.
What's his name, Bones?
K-H-A-B-Y-K-B-Y-L-A-M-E,
lame.
K-H-A-B-Y-K-B-B-E-L-A-B-L-A-L-A-L-A-L-A-L-A-L-A-L-A.
Yeah, I don't know that guy.
You never saw him on TikTok pop up and be like,
like somebody
Okay
I see him in the picture doing that
Like hey
Number two Charlie DeMilio
154 million followers
Mr. Beast at number three on TikTok
I mean his
YouTube is YouTube
The most part
But he has 94 million on TikTok
But like number six
Zach King
He makes about 50 grand per post
Gosh nice
Kimberly Loeza
81 million makes about 50 grand per post
It's for the daily mail
Yeah good work if you can get it
Anybody keep track of
all the R-sports.
Okay, cool.
I'm not throw the sheet away.
All right, all right, all right.
Mike said there was a shoot.
We're talking about assassin where Eddie was water gunned.
He was assassinated.
Mike said there was a shooting on his street, like a real one.
Really?
Yeah.
What happened?
How do you know there was?
I was just sitting in my office and I heard something that sounded like a jackhammer
and I thought they were just doing construction on the street.
And then my wife was leaving.
And some guy stopped around the street not to leave because there was just two guys shooting at each other on the end of my street.
And at first thing it was lunchbox and Eddie doing an assassin.
I was like, oh no, somebody came to give me.
That sucks.
Yeah, it was great.
Did somebody die?
Or somebody did you get shot?
Or was there like a shootout?
I think it was like a road rage incident.
Or maybe there was like they were fighting somewhere else and then it led to them driving.
They shot at each other.
I heard about like eight things that I thought was just a jackhammer.
But I guess it was like eight good shots?
Yeah.
Dude, I hear that all the time in my neighborhood.
Because it stopped and then I heard it again.
And then nothing was happening by the time it went out there.
But everything ended up okay with you?
Like no bullets in your house or like that.
Ramundo did want to bring up something.
He wants to have something off limits.
Like he thinks all of us should have something that we can deem off limits to talk about.
Why is this?
Well, Lunchbox gave me the idea because we can't talk about a pallet or something.
Well, the pallet, we stopped talking about it because it got a...
You know how he is, like he said.
So I just thought if he gets to pick something, I get to pick something.
Well, he didn't pick it, though.
We just decided we're not talking about it.
No, no, we talk about it.
I apologize.
So my off limits thing is being short.
Sorry, guys.
The stories have got to go.
if there is a story, no angle to Ray Mundo.
It has been a hell of a run for 10 years.
No more referencing Ray Mundo being short.
Guys, it was a lot of fun.
We had so many laughs.
I don't think we can do that.
I don't either.
Yeah, we can't do that.
Yeah, I don't either.
Because then we can't talk about my hair anymore.
That would be your thing.
We can't talk about lunchbox's arms anymore.
Well, that would be the one thing.
No, I wouldn't know.
It's hard because they don't come out that often.
Right.
Because it's hard for it.
What would it be then?
Wait, his was the palate.
No, no, no, no.
He apologized.
No, no, I apologize.
That was, I mean, I had a...
It was a bad day.
Yeah, I'd say.
Ray, I'm going to pass on that.
Okay.
But thank you.
Good suggestion, though.
Yeah, Amy, what did you find?
What do you mean?
Well, I don't know.
He said, guess what I found?
I never...
What are you talking about?
She gave me a few hints, but I didn't guess.
Go ahead.
It came up sort of recently.
I don't know.
I think in the last few months, you asked me if I knew where it was.
Give them the hints.
Because I didn't know what it was.
Oh.
That's a hint.
Oh my gosh.
The ring?
No.
The divorce.
I wish.
I think she'd be embarrassed to tell us that she always had the ring.
No, I'd be so excited.
That it was like in a shoe.
She had us looking for for three years.
I would get the reward.
No, that's how that works.
I don't know how that works.
Go ahead.
Let's see.
You've brought it up.
It's something that's special.
I found it cleaning out.
I haven't seen it in years.
Something you gave me.
The clock.
It's the clock.
I found the clock, the wedding gift that Bobby gave us.
And it was such a big deal.
And I felt bad because I didn't know where it was.
But I think in one of the moves, it was put in a certain box.
And then it got put in this other box.
It was in an attic.
And I've cleaned out every inch of my house because.
You should bring it in.
Let us use it in here.
Oh, I thought you put it in the dumpster.
No, no, no, no, no.
I have the clock.
Amy was getting married.
Yeah.
And Amy said, here's my registry.
Yeah.
And I went and I was like, I'm going to get her best thing on there.
Got her this really expensive clock that was on there.
And then she got the clock and put her closet.
Never like that. No, I had the clock out for a long, long time.
Only because I was like, where's the clock?
No. What happened was, I was like, God, that's crazy.
You got me the clock.
Like, you know, when you first get that gun, it's so fun, you just go around beeping things.
And obviously, I was beeping things like silverware and plates and glasses, things you need.
Like, this clock was just like extra.
And it was like, beep, beep, beep.
And I'm like, oh, my gosh, somebody got me this clock.
I don't remember.
It was way too much for a clock.
But I was like, oh, dang, I just beeped that for fun.
He didn't care.
And then he took that as me not caring.
Of course, I cared.
I just was surprised I got the clock that I beeped for fun.
And then I thought I love it.
See, that's why the pain hurt.
I know.
I hate that.
The registry.
It's so dumb.
Bring it in.
I want to look at it.
It is so dumb.
People just go, do, do, do, do, do.
I want it all.
You must have done that.
You must not have done that.
Now you're just jealous.
No, you're much.
But I picked stuff that I really wanted to.
I got a gaggerator.
Because you don't do what you wanted to do.
You're being mad.
I got a keg-or-rated.
Yeah, because what I did is I took them all back and bought a couch.
You took all your stuff back?
I clicked a couch and our CFO sent me one.
I know, man.
And I was like, I can't believe that.
Did you do that for fun?
No, I did.
People could like put in little bits to get the whole couch and you bought the whole couch.
That's crazy.
It's crazy.
Okay, we got to go.
Thank you and we will see it tomorrow.
A win is a win.
A win is a win.
I don't care what I'm saying.
Yep, that's me.
