This is an I-Heart podcast.
Guaranteed human.
Hello, gorgeous. It's Lala Kent.
Host of Untraditionally Lala.
My days of filling up cups at sir may be over,
but I'm still loving life in the valley.
Life on the other side of the hill is giving grown-up vibes,
but over here on my podcast, Untraditionally Lala,
I'm still that Lala you either love or love to hate.
It's unruly, it's unruly, unafraid, it's untraditionally Lala.
Listen to Untraditionally Lala on the IHeartRadio app,
Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.
Hi, I'm Iris Palmer, host of the Against All Odds podcast.
Every week, I'm sitting down with exceptional people who have broken barriers,
even when the odds were stacked against them.
Like chef, Victor Villa of Villas Tacos.
You know the Taquero from the Bad Bunny halftime show?
It was great.
It was a big moment.
It was special.
And I felt like I was really representing my family, you know, my brand, my city.
I was representing all taqueros, not only of like, you know, the U.S., but of Mexico.
and beyond all the tequitos of the world.
Listen to Against All Odds on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.
If a baby is giggling in the back seat, they're probably happy.
If a baby is crying in the back seat, they're probably hungry.
But if a baby is sleeping in the back seat, will you remember they're even there?
When you're distracted, stressed, or not usually the one who drives them,
the chances of forgetting them in the back seat are much higher.
It can happen to anyone.
Parked cars get hot fast and can be deadly.
So get in the habit of checking the back seat when you leave.
The message from NHTSA and the ad council.
It's time for the Bobby Bones Post Show.
Here's your host, Bobby Bones.
What's happening, everybody?
Hey, Ray, play voicemail number four, please.
Hey, my question is for Ray Mundo, with the warmer weather right around the corner and sun's coming out.
I was wondering if Ray had this year's song of the summer picked out.
Last year, rocked out all summer to vacation part two.
What's he got for us this year?
Ramundo?
Well, I don't know if he's talking about me personally, but I didn't write one with Dodd.
Dodd has a kid now.
He's way too busy.
No new songs for Ramundo.
I haven't even seen them in six months, much or less write a song with him.
Okay, and do you have a song picked out as the summer song of the year?
Yeah, the person that beat me to writing it is Sam Hunt.
Wait, no, he didn't beat you to writing it.
but country house i mean it's an absolute banger is that going to be a single uh right now it's
the outskirt so he's probably moving to a new single and i believe it'll be a summer feel so that
could be your song of the summer okay but i'd be you you would have written that had he not yes i
moved to a country house i've done a lot of things but i haven't written good songs about it that's
it's just one of those things you kick yourself about really i heard it he's literally explaining my
life in the song but do you think you could have written a hit song about your
life with a really catchy chorus and produced in a way that made people go dang, it sounds good.
As catchy, no, but that's the direction me and Dodd, we're going to go now that we're moving
to the burbs with our families. It would have been the exact same feel.
Not saying I would have wrote the same song that Sam Hunt was going to write.
If he had seen Eric in the last six months, they would have written it.
But he has a baby now, so.
How does Country House go?
That's a great question.
You can't sing it right now?
No.
That's okay.
It's hard whenever music plays right before.
Country House.
I got my little country house
And my
That's it's very
Very close to that
Yeah no I know I felt that
I felt that
I can't see it
I broke the inside
One of my teeth chewing gum yesterday
But now I can't stop messing with it
With my tongue
And it doesn't hurt
So I don't want to make an emergency
Call to the dentist
Because if I do that every time
And everything's an emergency
Then nothing's an emergency
Right
So when I do call
And I'm like
I got an emergency
It's not taking as seriously
because it's like, dude, although I haven't broken a tooth in a while, I grind really bad when I sleep,
which is probably where it comes from initially.
There were a few nights when I was in California, I didn't take my mouth guard.
I'm sure that's what it was.
I grind light crate.
I clinch, I guess more than grind.
I clench in the daytime.
But the inside of one of my like front floor teeth, I would say the two teeth in the middle on the bottom,
go two over, the bottom half of that broke off.
So is that like a chip?
Yeah, but like a bottom chip.
You don't even see it on the top.
So it's back and I keep messing with it.
But what happened was I was chewing gum,
and I think I was chewing gum real hard
because I missed a three,
basically a three-yard line field goal on Madden
for in a $200 game yesterday.
A $200 game?
Yeah, we gamble.
You guys are gambling on that now?
We always do.
Really?
Yeah.
$200.
Was that the Super Bowl?
It was like, hey, if I make this field goal, it's $200?
No, but season-wide.
It's a whole season thing.
It's dependent upon that.
Yeah, we were in the divisional championship.
I had to go to the AFC championship.
And the guy was playing, I missed a field goal from the three-yard line.
And I chewed my gum and p, it broke down there.
Wow.
Well, let's not act like it's one piece of gum.
It was probably five.
That's true.
You don't chew one piece of gum.
Never.
You never have just one piece in your mouth.
It's probably more than that.
Because what I do, in order to quench whatever craving I have for sugar, because I love sugar,
I want it all the time.
I chewed this gum called P-U-R with the two dots over the P.
It's called pure.
No sugar.
no,
what's that of the chemical
like sugar?
Like aspartame?
That's exactly what it is.
And that dots are called
an umla.
Okay, I didn't ask that part.
I'm just telling you.
Thank you.
It's called pure
and I chew it
and it works for me a little bit
and I was chewing it at the time
and I chew it.
How'd you miss that field goal?
Dude, I'm telling you, I don't think I did.
But crap.
Oh, you didn't?
The video game got it wrong?
You said it.
You said it.
I didn't say it.
It cost me $200, though.
Three yards.
So stupid.
Because it's not like you all have one of your friends is playing the little referee.
It's like the video game determines, right?
Yeah, it'd be a terrible game if one of us had to be referee during the game.
That'd be awful.
I was at the airport.
We were flying in last before the IHard Country show, so Friday or so, and I flew down there with Charles Kelly.
We're on the same flight from Lady A's the real tall lead singer with Hillary.
And so Charles Kelly and I flew down.
and we were getting off the airplane,
went to the bathroom,
and there's the stand-up urinals,
and you really don't,
it really doesn't affect you how tall Charles is
until he's standing next to you at a urinal.
He's tall, man.
And the urinal has these slats
that kind of block the two people.
He's so tall.
You could see?
He didn't even have,
I mean, it's just right on top of it.
Was he looking?
No, I don't think so,
but I was like, oh my God,
if he wanted to, like,
just take one,
five degrees with his eyes.
He could see everything you wanted.
Being that tall
has got a 98% of the time be so cool.
Yeah.
Because he's probably 6'5.
And we've performed with him at the Rhyman, like our million-dollar show.
And he'll use a mic stand.
And his mic stand goes the top of my head.
Yeah, man, that's crazy.
Now six foot tall at least.
And shoes 6-1, according to my driver's license.
But man, when he walks up next to you at a urinal,
you get in a little closer to it.
Just in case.
Because it's so easy for him to just, like, beat.
I guess the annoying thing would be bumping your head into stuff.
Dang, he's 6-6.
He's six, six.
Yeah.
But there's nothing else.
Beds maybe at hotels if they're too small?
Like what else would be annoying about being six foot six?
Cars, cars probably.
All the chicks you got to get.
It's too many chicks when you're young in college.
Your heart has some hump a lot.
Excuse me?
Your heart.
You said hump a lot.
You said hump a lot after I said chicks.
I said pump.
Amy, you said hump.
I feel like she said hump.
I said pump.
I said all the chicks.
She's like, and your heart humps a lot.
No.
Amy, what's up, man?
My brain was already thinking of how
much his heart must have to work.
So like I was just trying to think of anything.
I know.
Still, it's still going.
She means the distance.
Traveling.
So does that mean jockeys haven't made?
That's why tall.
Yeah.
Tall people, I was trying to think of one thing negative for you to take in.
And it was like maybe that his heart has to work extra.
No.
It's hard as to hump more.
And I'm like, dang, that would be awesome.
Pump.
How much would you spend on a date?
The average person in a year that's dating spends $3,000 on date.
It's about $250 a month.
When you do it like that, so let's do a week, so it's not even $100 a week, right?
So when you break it down monthly, it doesn't feel as crazy.
But man, that is a lot of dates.
So $250 a month, $125 for two weeks.
So you're looking at basically $65 or so, it's $130 a week.
That ain't so bad if you're doing it like, if your heart's not humping a lot.
Right.
You know what I mean?
65 bucks a week.
How many dates, Morgan, when you were just dating, would you go on a month?
Real dates where you went out to a dinner or there was something more than just saying what up.
Well, beyond December where I did the 10, that was abnormal.
And you did the PowerPoint, one of my favorite bits ever.
I would say five.
Five was pretty normal.
A month?
More than one a week?
Yeah, I mean, when I was like actively dating and really trying to put myself out there, yeah.
How did you remember the stories?
Because what my problem was when I was dating was, and listen, I don't have this great rich history of dating, but if I were ever going out with more than one person, I would confuse my stories all the time.
And they'd be like, you already told me that.
And I'm like, oh, crap.
I know.
I was just telling you again.
One, yeah, I'd be like, I just want to reinforce that.
But then two, I'd be like, well, then that person, the other person didn't even know the story.
I better save it and say it again.
So that always was confusing for me.
Yeah, I did mix up some stories.
You did?
It wasn't intentional.
But I would try and play it cool and be like, you remember I told you about like and kind of put it on them that maybe they forgot.
And so if I did already say it, they'd be like, yeah, I remember.
Or they'd be like, oh, no, I don't remember that.
So I didn't have a way.
You can always say to convince someone there's a trick.
If you want to convince someone that they said something, you say, I swear to God you said that.
Everybody believes a swear to God.
Oh, you're like, oh, maybe I did then.
No, I swear to God, you said it.
Oh, maybe, maybe that's true.
Five dates a month, that is a lot.
That's a lot of going out and having to do the whole new person exhaustion every time.
Yeah, I didn't last too long going at that rate.
But I would try when I was really actively dating and really trying to put myself out there.
I was trying to go on one a week just to like meet people.
Would you ever go on a second date with a guy that the first date didn't go that well,
but you thought there could be potential in this guy.
I just didn't see it in the first date.
If I saw any kind of potential, yes.
But if there was just no signs of anything, then no.
What if there was no spark, but it was like,
a good guy, had a good job.
You feel like there's probably something there.
You just didn't see it.
Maybe you were off.
Yeah, if there was a good conversation.
I always lean on the conversation.
If I'm like, we meshed well in that conversation, that's what I lean on.
So if the conversation didn't go well and I felt like I was talking to a brick wall,
then that's when I was like, this probably isn't going to work.
any of the guys ever feel like they had a great date with you,
but you didn't feel like you had a great date with them,
and they'd be like, we should go out again?
And you were like, really?
Yeah.
Did that ever happen?
Oh, yeah, that happened a few times.
How do you let them?
How would you let them down?
I would, my thing that I always said was like,
this isn't the right fit for me.
You would say that?
Yeah.
That's what they say to say.
Dang.
Fit?
Well, because it's not saying.
What's you playing left tackle?
And your offensive scheme?
Yeah.
Well, it's not saying like they're a bad person or, you know,
you're a bad guy.
It's just like, for me,
this is not a fit. Like, we're not a match.
Is the way, that's how it comes
across. Dang. That suck.
Because otherwise it's like, it's not you,
it's me or it's you, not me.
Like, instead of just being like,
hey, you're not the, like, this is not the right
fit for me, I hope you find what you're
looking for kind of thing. What was your ghosting percentage?
I would only ghost
if it was like a first date
and I just genuinely was like
this is so horrible. Otherwise,
I always tried to make a point to send
that text.
Would you ever send the text before they would send you a text back?
Would you ever the date happens?
The next day you're like, yeah, it wasn't for me.
I'm just going to go ahead send a text.
Hey, this is the right fit.
And he's like, well, I didn't even text you.
Would you ever do that?
No, I always waited for them to text me.
And if they text and they're like, hey, I'd love to see you again, that's when I would deliver the news.
Did you ever get you weren't the right fit?
Yeah.
Oh, yeah.
No way.
The guy would tell you that?
No way.
Dudes don't do that.
He would just be like, hey, like, it wasn't.
That's not what they would say.
they would say, like, I'm not ready for a relationship right now.
That was always their go-to.
I'm not ready for a relationship.
But you went on a date, whatever.
It never made sense.
Well, some people date just to, what did they put in their profile?
Free food?
Just looking.
Yeah, my heart needs some hopping.
They're like, nothing serious.
Yeah, but like that's what's crazy is on their profile.
I'd be like, relationship.
And then they'd be like, I'm not ready for a relationship.
I feel like most guys are doing that just to do that.
Mm-hmm.
It's a hard-hopper?
Yes.
thing. Like that's his way of being like, I'm just not
into you. Like girls are like, she says like,
oh, when I was actively dating, that just
means like you're looking for a man, like to
be in a relationship. Sure.
For guys, like, they're always actively
dating because they just want a girl to hook up
with. Not if they're married. Well, no, no, I'm just
making sure I say that out loud.
You're saying that. That's all guys.
I would say 90%.
Unless they're like at that age where like
I'm ready to find a wife. But that's rare.
I think Eddie has a point sort of
to where I think most dudes
are going out to hook up,
but if it goes really well,
they'll also have a relationship.
There you go.
Most.
This is where that cablight theory happens.
What's cablight theory?
Where, like, girls,
their cablight theory,
like they are genuinely always wanting
to meet that person,
whereas guys,
their cablite only comes on
when they finally meet that person.
Like, girls cablites are always on.
The vacancy cablight?
Yeah.
I'm open.
Oh, that's what that means.
Like, cablight on.
I just agree with the, I mean,
yeah, I think what I said
is very similar to what you're saying.
You said it better than I did.
But dudes are like, I'm single.
Let me just, let's go out and see if I can hook up.
And then if I really like it, that could be a relationship where I, I don't know what women feel.
But traditionally, as it's been communicated to me, more women than not are like, hey, I'd like to find a good guy to be in a relationship with.
Where dudes are like, I'd like to get my heart humping.
And then maybe there's a relationship.
Yep.
But.
No, that's 100% true.
The cab light.
We should change that to something more relevant, though.
It came cab light because of sex in the city.
It was from that show.
And she would often talk about, like, the cab light.
Like, his cab light's not on.
Got it.
So now could it be, like, Uber light?
That one doesn't make sense.
I guess they do have lights in their car.
They do.
But it doesn't go on and off or anything.
Oh, it doesn't?
Right.
I don't know if there's a new equivalent.
I'll do this real quick.
We'll get to mid roll just a second.
Did you guys get in the wrong Uber again?
Yes.
I know last year you guys got in.
No, this was like six years ago.
Oh, that?
That wasn't last year?
It was like five or six years ago.
Me and Lunchbox got in the wrong Uber.
And it was crazy right when that happened.
And then we did it again.
What happened?
Well, I ordered the Uber and it said,
Toyota Crolla, black license plate, RG, whatever.
And I look up my, oh, it's here.
Black Toyota Cromola license plate RG.
So I got the Uber.
What the person do?
And they're like, Annie?
I was like, Annie, who's Annie?
It's a wrong Uber.
And I'm like, you?
Yeah, no, no, I said no, and I showed him and said, no, look.
And he goes, Annie?
And I was like, nope, and I get out.
Yeah, yeah.
And there was two ladies standing there and they're like,
what were you guys doing in our Uber?
And it was a Toyota Crolla, license plate, RG, I just didn't look at the third letter.
What are the odds that two of the letters were right?
At least it wasn't just somebody chilling.
No, that's the first time we did that, it was somebody else's car.
And they're like, what are you doing?
That right there could get somebody in trouble.
As far as, like, somebody getting scared and reacting in a way that wasn't,
Safe.
Good.
Yeah.
All right, let's do a mid roll here.
You can have opinions.
You can have like a strong stance.
And then there's your body having its own program.
I'm Dr. Maya Shunker, a cognitive scientist and hosts of the podcast, a slight change of plans,
a show about who we are and who we become when life makes other plans.
We share stories and scientific insights to help us all better navigate these periods of turbulence
and transformation.
There is one finding that is consistent,
and that is that our resilience rests on our relationships.
I wish that I hadn't resisted for so long the need to change.
We have to be willing to live with a kind of uncertainty that none of us likes.
Listen to a slight change of plans on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your
podcasts.
On a recent episode of the podcast Money and Wealth with John Hobriant,
I sit down with Tiffany the budgetista aliche to talk about what it really takes to take control of your money.
What would that look like in our families if everyone was able to pass on wealth to the people when they're no longer here?
We break down budgeting, financial discipline, and how to build real wealth, starting with the mindset shifts.
Too many of us were never, ever taught.
Financial education is not always about, like, I'm going to get rich.
That's great.
It's about creating an atmosphere for you to be able to take care of yourself
and leave a strong financial legacy for your family.
If you've ever felt you didn't get the memo on money,
this conversation is for you to hear more.

American soccer is about to explode.
The World Cup is free.
coming.
Ramos sending on to Ernie Stewart the chip.
I'm Tad Ramos.
I'm Tom Boe.
On our podcast, Inside American Soccer, you'll get the real storylines.
I'm not worried about Policic.
I'm not worried about Balagan.
I'm not worried about McKinney.
My only concern is what happens in the back.
The biggest decisions.
If you're going to look at stats and numbers,
he has no shot at making this World Cup team.
And the truth about the U.S. national team.
It wouldn't be a huge.
huge surprise if our team ends up in the quarterfinals or potentially a great run into the
semifinals.
The World Cup is almost here.

I stand by what I said.
They should put Battle's name on that.
Justice for Battle.
Justice for Battle is correct.
I was singing, carry on a wayward son.
You'll be ready.
It says, you want to know why?
Because when I was in the bathroom, I turned the music on.
Smart.
According to the new rules, step forward here.
So smart. So that we can't hear each other in the bathroom.
I've been doing it myself.
Did Amy, you ever hear music in our bathroom?
No, never.
I don't hear anything in y'all's bathroom.
Sometimes I hear y'all laugh, but y'all hear everything.
Apparently they can hear everything.
So do we turn the music on for us or for them then?
Oh, for us.
So we don't hear them.
Oh, got it.
Did you hear them?
No, I was just like, let's play some Kansas.
I went to the bathroom.
And I was like, let's hit it.
And then I like how the song starts.
Carry on a wayward sign.
So I was jamming out.
Don't you cry no more.
Okay, well, I don't know why I'm doing that thing because it doesn't bother me to hear them.
I don't know.
I've never heard them.
You've never heard the stream?
Okay, stop.
Stop.
You're not ready for that.
Yeah, I've been in there enough.
Granger Smith was on the Bobbycast this week.
It's a pretty intense one.
I mean, we went all through the emotions, but good stuff.
bad stuff, happy stuff, sad stuff. But, you know, he lost his son. His son drowned in the pool in the
backyard. He talked about losing his son River and revelation that he just had about it.
If I faced God today and he said, I give you river back, I give your old life back,
but you don't get anything that you've gained from that. You just get river and your old life,
I would say no. I would say I can't go back there. Even to have River back. Because I was
broken so much that the new growth that came from that death. I'm a new, I'm a different person
and I can't go back into that old self again because I just see things differently now.
Talk to Granger a bunch at the IHeart Festival, him and his brother, because the brother's
manager. Yeah, I saw them both too. Yeah. Great guys, man. But it was, I mean, it got pretty intense.
I'm not going to play any of the crazy stuff. Crazy as in like, could be triggering.
And we do a trigger warning at the beginning of the podcast, which we hardly ever have to do,
because we don't ever, there's not always stuff this tragic that happens to folks.
So none of this is that.
But he talked about how stepping away from music has changed him,
and he's finding more fulfillment and helping people,
and how he just met a dad for coffee that had just lost his son as well.
I had coffee with a guy last week who lost his son.
I live in Austin.
He lives in Dallas.
He's like, I'll do anything.
I'm 44 days into this.
I said yes, because I've done it enough times to know that there is more fulfillment
in that, then whatever the rat race thing I was supposed to be doing on a Tuesday.
We set this coffee shop for four hours, and I talked for about 20 minutes out of the floor
and listened the rest of the times.
But the times I was able to speak the short time, I knew things to say that would impact him
in a way that on his drive back to Dallas, I know he's going to be thinking about it.
So that is the latest Bobbycast.
I like Granger a lot, and it's not all that, but a lot of that is his recent story.
I mean, that is a big part of the story and why he's kind of got out of music and gone to more of speaking and preaching and, you know, being involved in church and in a more official capacity.
And on the radio in the middle of the night.
Oh, yeah, that's true too.
That's true.
Yeah, he does after midnight.
Which, by the way, nah, I'm not going to spill it.
Nah, I'm going to spill it.
I was going to say it's not live.
But do people think it's live?
There's no way people think that's live.
That's why I wonder.
I know, I know.
It's all in the middle of the night.
There's like, do people really think someone's up that night?
I would think, I would think that if I were like up every night and heard a guy, I would think he was live sitting in the room.
Oh, okay.
He is then?
I don't want to kill the bit.
Okay, well, there's a mom.
They have three kids.
She, every time that she's gotten pregnant, had kids, she would breastfeed her kids, but she'd also breastfeed her husband.
And now they're considering having a fourth baby so they can do it again.
So he can.
How long?
does he eat?
A Florida woman who made headlines for breastfeeding her husband has revealed they're
considering having another baby so she starts lactating again.
Rachel Bailey and Alexander said they've grieved their bonding experience of breastfeeding
since their body stopped producing milk.
Can't he just go like, whey?
Can't he just act like a baby?
Make it happen?
If he cries, maybe it will cause her lactate.
The couple's three children have all weaned off the milk.
So he has two.
Now they're considering having a fourth child just so.
we can.
And also, why is this our business?
Like if they...
It's probably something on TikTok.
It doesn't say that here.
I know, but it's like they're putting that...
They're putting the story out there.
Right.
Yeah.
But they don't feel like they're doing anything wrong.
But it is interesting.
I read it.
And I was like, that's wild.
Are they just trying to be different?
Like, you know, people just say things to be different.
I don't think they're trying.
I think what they do is different.
Right.
But like Amy's saying like, you can be different and just do it behind closed doors,
but no, they want everyone to know this.
I think it's probably for followers.
And like, later you're the fourth child.
You grow up and,
find out you're only born so your dad could breastfeed.
Hey, let him eat.
It's weird.
You know, it's like,
you know.
Or you can be proud your dad got to eat his favorite food because of you.
Why can't he get like formula or something?
It's not the same.
That's not the same.
Not the same bonding experience.
And it's expensive.
Daily mail with that story.
A routine welfare check in Oklahoma last week led to an unexpected development
in a cold case,
a murder of coal case.
A guy that was sitting along the highway confessed to a woman's 2016 murder.
While sitting alongside the highway in OKC,
officials say that Joseph Beck voluntarily confessed to killing the 19-year-old in 2016.
Beck offered the confession to a state trooper who performed the welfare check on Thursday
after a passerby reported seeing a man by himself near the exit of I-40.
Detectives eventually arrested the 28-year-old suspect.
During the interview with investigators, he said that they worked together and confessed
to being attracted to her leading to the killing.
So had they not, had someone not called and said, hey, check on this guy.
And they got, they don't know why he decided to do it now.
He just confessed to it immediately.
MSN, they took them in, interviewed him, told more of the story.
I bet at least that family has a bit of...
Yeah.
Knowing that he's been found and...
Man, I was in a bad place over the weekend.
I watched First 48 in the hotel room.
What place were you?
We're in Austin.
No, what place were you in?
Just like watching First 48 over and over.
I guess they do marathons of that thing.
Like, I was waiting for another show to come on, but it never can...
First 48 won after another.
I must have watched five in one night.
Yeah, that puts you in a pretty dark place.
Yeah.
You know what?
The advice I have for that is,
that's my advice.
Don't you cry no more.
Do-dum, down.
Hey, Morgan, you're from Kansas.
Everybody love Kansas there?
They play, like, more shows than Kansas than anywhere else?
I don't think they played more shows there, but yeah.
I mean, if there's one, like, kind of more rock band, I know, it's probably Kansas.
It's always playing in, like, restaurants and stuff.
Are they from Kansas?
That's a good question.
I would assume, I don't know the answer to that, but I would assume if their name
is Kansas.
Like Queen, Queen, they weren't Queens.
Boston was from Boston. No, but Queen is
you could be a queen of anything.
You could be... Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, I guess so.
Is Alabama from Alabama?
That's great question, Matt. Is Little Texas
from Texas? Got it.
Yes, yes, we're going too much. I'm staring at you trying to think of them one
at a time. Little Texas is from Texas.
Yes, Tim is from Texas. Hold on. Kansas, though.
Is Kansas from Kansas, Mike?
Yep.
Okay.
They formed in Topeka, Kansas.
Boston, I do believe most of their band is from Boston.
Mike?
What?
I'm on Alabama.
Alabama.
One of the guys was busted for, like,
weed in Alabama, like, living there, like, recently.
So I would say yes?
Unless you're just in Alabama and you move there,
because everybody...
They recently busted one of the members of Alabama with weed?
They've formed in Fort Payne, Alabama in 1969.
I'm almost positive that it happened.
Does that sound familiar, Mike?
Yeah, I'm not sure.
But regardless of where it was,
I remember them saying he's from somewhere in Alabama.
Teddy Gentry was arrested.
Fort Payne, Alabama.
He's from Fort Payne, Alabama.
Where was it, though?
In Fort Payne?
It doesn't even matter.
They're from Alabama.
Okay.
And leaves a guy alone.
He's 70.
Let him smoke a little weed.
Yeah, no kidding, man.
He was booked into a northeast Cherokee County jail in northeast Alabama.
That's like when Willie got busted.
Remember that?
It's like, dude, the difference, though, is now it's legal in a bunch of states,
or it's medically legal, or it's, why we take way putting people in jail?
No, I know.
We're just having a little bit.
But even, like, Willie, you know, like, if you see Willie,
Billy's bus, like, it's like fish in a barrel.
I know. The only thing I would say, though, it was
completely illegal then.
Right. And you know that, but now
it's some fictional
line we've drawn that says it's a border, which
the law is different, where
it's like, let him, just let him go.
Yeah, but Willie, I agree,
but if it's completely illegal, that's also
on them for being knuckleheads.
Well, but I'm saying, like, if you know Willie's on that
bus, you know that you're going to, like,
he has it on him, 24-7.
Exactly. But you need a reason to pull the bus over,
and secondly, it's a different story than when it's...
And if you're going to arrest somebody else for it...
You can't just be like, oh, that's Willie Nelson, no big deal.
You could run the plates and be like, let's not pull that one over.
You could do that, but I'm saying it's way different than it would be now where it is legal.
Two hours away.
Depending on what state you're in, what part you're in.
That's like Snoop.
Like you pull over Snoop's car.
No, we get your reference.
You know you're going to bust them as soon as you pull the car over.
Not Snoop now?
Because it's legal in California.
Right, right, right, right.
A Bitcoin trader reportedly lost $70 million
after sending crypto to the wrong online account address.
They were victim of a scam.
A crypto trader lost tens of millions of dollars
and an address poisoning scam.
Address poisoning scams are carried out by thieves
who make spoof accounts of their victim's online crypto address
which they use to send a small amount of currency to the victim.
I don't know how that works, but they tricked them into send it 70 million bucks basically.
Business insider.
I wonder what mine's at.
Do you think it's grown in the last week or two?
I don't know.
I discovered it a couple weeks ago.
I had some Bitcoin that I bought it at all-time low.
What was that app?
I got it, Robin Hood.
All right, let's see what I have.
Do you remember what my money was last time?
Don't say it.
Yeah, yeah, what was it?
I think I'm down a little bit.
Oh, but only.
You can say how much?
A couple thousand.
That's still a lot of thousand.
I know, to me, that money is not even real because it is.
It is real once you own it.
It's yours.
I know, but that's why I'm just like, yeah, it's just a couple thousand.
I'm sure it'll float back up.
Now that I'm looking, it goes anywhere but down.
That's the case.
I know.
I should just take it out and spend it on cards.
On us.
Cards?
Yeah.
Like real high-end baseball and football and basketball cards.
This was what happened Sunday at the airport.
My wife and I go through different lines at the airport because she does not have TSA pre-check.
Airport was packed in Austin.
getting out. Was it packed for you guys?
Yeah, kind of.
It's packed. Lime's all the way back.
And I was like, Sianora, Sucker.
So I went through the TSA pre-check, got through pretty quick.
Probably, we were in plenty of time, so I wasn't really worried about her getting through.
But I probably got through 15 minutes before she did.
So there was a little table on the other side.
So I had some cards.
I went to a card shop, like a collectible store in Austin, and had a box, small box of them.
And I was like, well, I'll just kill some time.
So I'll blade them out on the table.
And I'm like putting them in the little loaders, whatever.
And my wife gets up near me.
And some dude who is kind of like floating with her hitting on her, he goes,
you're single?
And she was like, I'm not.
That's my husband right there.
And he's a big dude.
He's got like a big Gucci bag.
Probably an athlete of some sort.
And she goes to my husband right there.
I guess I can hear him.
And he looks over me and I'm loading baseball cards.
Oh, no.
Look like the biggest freaking dork ever.
Did he laugh?
I didn't look at him.
I just kind of was like, oh, God.
She was like, yeah, that's my husband.
I'm like, okay, we're going to put the Mark Grace into the flyer here.
He was probably like, yeah, right.
That's like your husband.
Trying to get rid of me.
Whatever, man.
That's my new thing.
It's my temporary hobby.
This is a Caitlin Clark.
The day, the night she broke the scoring record,
NCAA scoring record.
Got that today.
I don't know.
Sent here accidentally instead of my house because my eBay sends at two places.
So do you say how much you paid for that?
Or is it?
I don't think it was anything crazy, crazy.
I don't think it was like crypto money or anything.
But that's something that will be,
is an investment and it'll be worth more later.
That's the plan.
Yeah.
Let me see.
I can probably look and just go to my.
eBay account
And carry on away
What's on?
So like how many of those were made?
This one, I don't know.
I don't know that it's numbered.
Okay.
But for her, let me see,
maybe it's numbered.
I don't know.
I can tell how much I paid for it.
Hold on.
I opened up another box
though, celebrity cards yesterday.
Oh yeah?
What did you get?
Did you get a signature?
Yeah, I got four signatures.
Four signatures?
Yeah.
Can we play that game again?
That was fun.
Yeah, hold on one second.
Let me find how much I paid for this.
I'm not.
We were checking out.
I'm on Amazon on eBay.
Go ahead.
And the line in Walgreens.
I wonder if I got this on eBay.
I'm on eBay, but it's Amazon.
I get Amazon on eBay.
Sometimes I get on Amazon and I'm like, okay, I'm trying to auction.
I'm like, crap, there's no auctions on Amazon.
Or I get on eBay and I'm like, Prime now.
Now, there's a while Prime now on eBay.
The color schemes are the same.
It really screws me up.
There's blue in them both.
Prime and eBay?
There's blue and eBay?
Yeah, like one of the letters is blue.
Oh, yeah.
I guess so.
Hold on.
I'm sorry.
Hold on.
I'm sorry.
Let me see here.
Oh, I won that auction.
Okay.
I bought this Caitlin Clark card for, here you go.
Oh, okay.
$89.
Yeah, $89.
Already graded.
Already graded.
So that's $90.
Yeah.
Already graded, though.
I don't buy stuff not graded already.
I'm big.
Got to be graded.
Big investor.
The other thing that was going to, oh, you want to see what I just won?
Do you care?
Do you care?
What do you mean? You mean just won the auction?
Yeah, it just happened.
Sure.
I guess I bit on it last night.
How do I get there, though?
My eBay purchases.
Boom.
A rare 1984.
Ryan Sandberg signed National League Championship game ticket.
A ticket Ryan Sandberg signed to the NLCS.
You like Sandberg?
Yeah, well, I've basically all my favorite Cubs on something.
I've got Andre Dawson, Wright-Filder,
got Mark Grace, got Ryan Sandberg,
I've got the Greg Maddox 300th win ticket,
but he wasn't with the Cubs in,
but he played with the Cubs before that.
I'm in right now trying to get a carry wood on the game.
He struck out 20?
He struck out 20 times?
No, he struck out 20 badgers.
Oh, he was a pitcher.
Gotcha.
I didn't know who you would.
So I have a lot of that,
and I did get my other sting, by the way.
Oh, you did?
The real sting.
Yeah, I actually got the music sting.
Not the police sting.
That's got to be so confusing for them.
They're all the time.
they're like, oh, you're here with your guitar,
where's your face makeup?
And he's like,
not the right, not the royal.
Sting.
What were you saying?
I was just said,
I've never heard my son bring up anything about cards.
And he doesn't even know about your card accession,
but we're checking out at Walgreens,
and they have little baseball cards in a pack that you can buy.
And this first time ever where he was like,
whoa, these looks so cool.
And I almost bought them just because this is like your thing.
But then I thought, wait, should I buy these or what?
Sure, it's just fun.
I don't know.
You've never seen baseball cards before?
I have seen baseball cards.
I've never bought them for my son
because he's never expressed any interest
and I didn't play with them
so I didn't know, like,
is it worth buying the little pack from Walgreens
just for him to like get to know them or have fun
and then maybe he can...
Yes, and then he can like look on eBay
to see what they've sold for or what the...
I'm doing a whole series that we've were on once
already to put out
that's kind of about grading,
how to send cards off to get gray.
what breaks are, memorabilia, all of that.
Yeah, I just didn't know.
It was right there with the gum.
It's fun because what you can do on eBay to see how much it's really worth is don't go to eBay and type it in to see what they're selling for.
Because people will list it for a whole bunch more, but you go to the drop down like the sword or filter and you do sold and you can see what they sold for.
Okay.
Like last night I opened up a box of basketball cards that I bought in Austin and I got a Chet Holmgren rookie patch signed.
and I went to see how much it was in this thing
and it was like $5,000
and I was like, oh no, I got to hit sold.
Then it was like $800.
Big difference.
But I still hit an $800 card,
but you can't go search the eBay
for like what they're selling for.
So inside that pack of cards from Walgreens
there could be cards that are worth money.
They could.
There could, but you know,
if you're buying those kind of packs for cheaper,
it's much, much harder to get big hits.
Okay.
But yes, absolutely.
But it's a good lesson.
I said not now, buddy.
So maybe it will call.
you can do that and go look up to see what they're selling for and you got to keep to learn about
you know the grading and they really will only sell it a good value if they're already graded
okay so um you want to do one of the card things yes yes yes yes yes celebrity we got a guest about
to be into um we'll do no just do one just do one okay 20 questions uh okay you will not get the first
one there's no way not that big with celebrity you'll know
what they did, but you won't get the first one.
Okay, I got one.
Go ahead.
Anybody go?
Yes, you know.
Celebrity cards.
I got one.
It was autographed.
Named the celebrity, go.
20 questions.
Is it a man?
Yes.
It's a male.
Lunch box?
Famous in the 90s?
No.
Is he an actor?
No.
Morgan, you can play.
Is he an athlete?
Yeah.
Do you currently playing?
Yeah.
Not in like a little record.
Eh?
You know what I mean?
I answered the question, didn't I?
Lunchbox.
Is it a football player?
No.
Is he still playing professionally?
Yes.
He's currently playing.
He doesn't know if he's playing in a city league?
Maybe I do.
What?
You think he would know if that guy was playing in a city league?
Yeah.
Like Andy Roddick, he plays for fun.
place for fun. Oh, I heard that.
Your question is pretty stupid, Eddie. No, it's good.
No, it's pretty stupid. Go ahead, Morgan. Is he a basketball
player? No. There's eight.
So no
basketball. Let's go age, guys.
Basketball? Okay. Does he play
baseball? Nope. Okay.
There's 11.
That's nine. That's nine. Let's just figure out the sport.
Is he over 30 years of age?
Nope. Oh, wow.
That's 10 questions.
Whoa.
Whoa.
Whoa.
Does he live in America?
Yep.
Do you follow him on social media?
Nope.
That's 12.
Eight left.
Where sports are there?
Is he played tennis?
Nope.
Ah.
Pickleball?
Got it.
There are 13 questions down.
We don't know professional
lunchbox.
Lunchbox?
Yeah.
Was he involved in a gambling scandal?
I don't know.
Let me Google.
I honestly don't know.
Don't take any of this.
Don't even look at this whole, I don't know stuff.
Gambling.
Gambling.
What is gambling?
I don't know what gambling is.
All off the record.
I would say.
Maybe he comes back with yes, you know.
There's different.
I didn't know about this.
So I would say there's some information about,
Mike, can I just tell you who did?
You come look at it?
So no, no like shit,
sending you the wrong way with tone or anything.
My answer would have been no, but...
I don't believe you.
Do you think about that as a scandal?
I wouldn't know about that.
Right.
Don't pay attention to any of that talk much much.
That's not a scandal, though.
Right?
No?
Okay, no.
The answer's no.
Is he a golfer?
Nope.
Oh, come on.
He's under 30 still playing, and it's no sport.
We know.
That's 14.
Six more.
You guys need me to ask anything?
What's your turn?
Let's just keep going to sports, right?
Is he married to a...
What other sports are there?
They're swimming and there's track.
Hockey.
Is he married to a celebrity?
Okay.
Okay.
Is he married to a celebrity?
Nope.
Oh, God.
What sports have we done?
What sports have we done?
Does he play hockey?
We've done basketball, baseball, tennis.
I've gone through every sport.
I've got four questions left.
He's not baseball.
What about soccer?
We haven't done baseball.
He's not baseball.
How do you know that?
I did baseball.
He did.
I've been writing them down.
You did football.
I did.
And basketball and hockey.
Excuse me.
We did all the rest of.
And golf and tennis.
I think we've done all the major sports, except bowling.
Swimming.
Olympian?
Sirce.
Who's up?
Watch box.
You have four questions left.
Who is the betting person you were thinking of?
Show Hey, Otani.
Got it.
But that's why I didn't hear her do baseball.
I heard basketball, football.
I would answer yes to that question, though, on betting if it was Otani.
I know that story.
We know you're true.
I don't trust you, man.
Not in this game.
But what's he saying that's not true?
Anytime he says,
you know what,
I don't,
let me look that up.
And he knew as yes the whole time.
Four questions left.
Amy, you know this.
Lunchbox?
Yeah.
There's archery.
Like, I've been on with everything.
Guys, we have, what about soccer?
There's four questions.
Four questions.
Questions left? Soccer and swimming. He's American.
Zimmerman?
It's Zimmerman. No one knows who Walker Zerman is.
That's the only one I know.
What American soccer player.
Oh, I got it. Well, he lives in America. It doesn't mean he's from America.
He doesn't have to be. No. He doesn't have to live in America.
We said lives in America.
That's how it was asked.
So he knows he lives in America.
Who are you thinking? Four questions left, guys. I need a question in 10 seconds.
Who? 10 seconds for a question, please.
Are they an Olympian?
He doesn't know him.
He's boxing?
Yeah,
Olympian.
Wrestling?
I asked a question.
Wrestling?
UFC?
He asked.
Lunchrock's asked.
What's your question?
Is he an Olympian?
No.
Three questions.
Is he a fighter?
Let's see.
There's the eyes.
He's thinking.
And 100% he's a fighter.
Michael, what would you say to that?
Yes.
Okay, he's a fighter.
Let's go, baby.
We're there.
We're there.
Got it.
Why would you have to think that?
I got it.
I got it.
If you know it.
No, no, no, I don't want it.
I'll say my answer.
It counts as a question.
What do you think?
Talk to us.
Well, I, the one that would be like a fight and they're questioning it is Logan Paul.
Yeah.
Or Jake Paul, there's two.
Or Jake Paul, I know it's a Paul brother.
And we have two questions.
Okay, so should I ask if he's one of the famous brothers?
What do they do?
No, no, no, no.
No, no, no.
What's your question?
Ask him.
He's fighting Mike Tyson.
No, no.
He didn't answer, Morgan.
Is he's fighting Mike Tyson.
Yes. There you go. Thank you.
If he's fine, Mike Tyson, why would you have to be like?
Amy, you're up. It's your question.
Which one is it?
That's, that one's, it's Jake Paul, isn't it? That's fine.
See, I don't know now.
I'm pretty sure it's Jake Paul.
I think it's Logan.
I think it's Jake.
What do I ask, guys?
Just ask if it's Logan Paul.
Then we know it's Jake.
We already know it's Jake.
You can just say... Does his name start with an L?
No.
No?
Then it's the other.
Okay.
Okay.
Yeah.
Yeah, we did.
No, I think it was a ridiculous way to ask it.
That's it. You got it. Just in time.
Okay, that's it for the post show.
We will see you guys tomorrow.
Bye, everybody.
