Starting point is 00:02:06 Lizzie McGuire. And I'm like... A wild batch you were with. It was like a first, like, closet moment from me where I was like... You're like, I don't feel like she's hot, like the rest of that. No, no, no.
Starting point is 00:02:14 I was like, she's beautiful. But I'm appreciating her in a different way than these boys are. I'm not like... But listen to Los Colerteristas on the IHartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. This is Julian Edelman, host of games with names. Starting point is 00:02:52 James Fester threw it out of a van because he didn't want us drinking it. For more games with names, visit the IHeartRadial app or wherever you get your podcast. Wakey, Wakey! Eggs and Bakey! It's the Bobby Bones pre-show. Here's your host, Bobby Bones. Thank you. I watched episode two of Yellowstone of the second season, but it's like the second half of the season. So it's not episode two, but it's like 10 maybe. Dude, there was a rattlesnake scene. I don't spoil anything. It's not really a spoiler. There's a rattlesnake scene. I'm not even scared of snakes.
Starting point is 00:03:28 I don't like snakes. I'm not going to choose. Okay, pick a friend. It's Eddie and Lunchbox and Mike D and a snake. I'm not going to pick the snake. But I'm not scared of snakes. There's a rattlesnake scene. Makes you scared of snakes? No, but I was just like, oh, God, what would I have done? So they're down at four-six's ranch.
Starting point is 00:03:47 Familiar? Yeah. That's what it's called four-sixes, right? That's their ranch? No. That's the real ranch in Texas. In Texas. I know it's 6-66.
Starting point is 00:03:56 Those are the real cowboys. So it's like 4-6s or like quad-s, whatever it is. And I think Tyler Sheridan ended up buying that. ranch too but they're there and it's texas and so they're not used to the snakes dude lunchbox would have pete himself just on this scene and there were some big stuff that happened like drama but the snake thing i couldn't stop thinking about the whole thing oh yeah taylor taylor sheridan humongous rattlesnake really he did buy the four-sixes ranch 320 million dollars oh my goodness he has so many shows if you look up that's crazy Taylor sheridan shows
Starting point is 00:04:34 He has his own. He's Tyler Perry. And probably not exactly to Tyler Perry. Yep, he's Tyler Perry. And all the stuff that he does, because obviously Yellowstone, Landman, which is out now with Billy Bob Thornton, which one of my friends are telling me it's so good.
Starting point is 00:04:50 And my mom first awesome. So I've Yellowstone and Landman on my list in my queue. Taylor Sheridan went to Texas State. He did. I know. I was Southwest back then. Yeah. Southwest Texas.
Starting point is 00:05:03 He has the special op. The Lioness. Oh, so good. That one's so good. Tulsa King, which I love, which is Sylvester Stallone. It's like the mob, but he goes down to Tulsa. Love that. Mayor of Kingstown, which you haven't seen.
Starting point is 00:05:15 But people say it's really good. I thought you did watch that. Wait, isn't that the one with... Jeremy Renner? He's one of the Avengers. Oh, good. He never uses a bow and arrow, and I was kind of disappointed. The Falcon or what's it?
Starting point is 00:05:27 Is he Bowen Arrow? No, he's a hot guy. Bowen Arrow, right? You were right. Eddie was wrong. Okay. Yeah, if he never pulled it out, I keep going, just dude, just carry out of the air bow and arrow.
Starting point is 00:05:35 So I watched a few episodes of it, but it wasn't that it wasn't good. It was one of those times where there were like a lot of really great shows out. And I was like, oh, this one will always be here. And it wasn't fully done with the season. So it's easier to wait until those finish and then go back to them. But then I forgot to go back. Lawman Bass Reeves, 18, and then the 1883, 1923, those were Yellowstone spinoffs. He's sons of anarchy?
Starting point is 00:06:00 Oh, my gosh. There's got to be something to that. Is that him, him? He was in the show. Oh, got it. It wasn't a creator. No, he was in it. That's where he had his acting roles.
Starting point is 00:06:10 Then when he turned 40, he started writing. He wrote Sicario, the... Oh, yeah, that's a good one. The, like, Mexican cartel. Yeah, that's a good movie. That's Mexican, right? Benicio de Toro. Okay, because I don't want to be like South America and then be, oh, the man is Mexico.
Starting point is 00:06:23 I'm like, well, I don't think of Eddie's next to me. Wow. So how old is he now? He is 506? Yeah. He's in Yellowstone. He is the guy that rides the horse. He's like the horse guy.
Starting point is 00:06:35 And you never know it's him. But yeah, it's 54. I love it when directors do that. Okay. See, I don't believe this. This is where I don't believe. He dropped out of Texas State, moved to Austin. Okay.
Starting point is 00:06:46 Where he mowed lawns and painted houses. While looking for jobs in a shopping mall, a talent scout saw him walking in the mall. Why do you not believe that? He's really good look. Like, he's model-type good-looking. Yeah. But we hear these stories about people just being found in the mall.
Starting point is 00:07:00 This really is where they go look for people just walking around the mall. No. But the person could have been at the mall. and then their job is, it'd be like someone who's looking for music and they're eating at a Chipotle where someone's playing in the corner. Right.
Starting point is 00:07:12 But that's also literally what happened to Brooklyn Decker when she was younger. Like someone, she was at the mall. The mall. And someone. Chrissy Teigen, was discovered by Brooklyn Decker at the mall, kind of. It's like, hey, yeah,
Starting point is 00:07:22 you just see something and I'm like, oh, okay. And then. It's not that they're walking around the mall with a magnifying glass going, gonna find me a hottie. It's like their job is to probably scout. And if they're somewhere where there's a lot of people
Starting point is 00:07:33 and they see someone that makes sense, they probably go, this person may... I think lunchbox is confused why nobody's ever come up to me. I'm at the mall every day. I never go to the mall, that's the problem. Oh, that's it?
Starting point is 00:07:45 Yeah, and I just can't imagine you're just walking through the mall and some random person goes and goes, hey man, you want to be an actor? You can move to Chicago and Sheridan's like, yeah, I'm in, man. I bet it wasn't like that. I bet it's like, hey, I look for people,
Starting point is 00:07:57 we do commercials and stuff, if I'm guessing, because I know people who have had to scout for even commercials, not models, but commercials, They're like, hey, we're looking for a kind of character type or whatever. We think it'd be great in this. And people always think it's a scam because sometimes it is, but a lot of times it's not.
Starting point is 00:08:11 So they never like push themselves if they're for real. They're like, hey, here's my card, call. Could have called him and like, hey, cast for commercials, one thing, snowballs into another. Next thing you know, boom. Well, it's like Matthew McConaughey in his book, he talks about how he met this producer at a bar. He was like working or no, he was hanging out at the bar. Yeah, his roommate or something was the bartender.
Starting point is 00:08:31 Yeah, I met the producer and he said, hey, why don't you just just, come try out for this days and confused film. He made it. After the film was done, he's like, hey, you're a good actor, man. You should come to L.A. and just, you know, hit me up when you show up. Okay. He packed his bags, went to L.A., knocked on the guy's door. He's like, what are you doing here? Really? It was just small talk.
Starting point is 00:08:50 So that he bugged him so much. He was like, all right, let's see what we can do. That's fun. Yeah. That's good. Jennifer Lawrence was discovered walking down the street in New York City while she was on vacation where the parents, she was 14 years old. And then she became Katness. Well, she worked her way to get.
Starting point is 00:09:04 the have to have the abilities to be capable. I know. She's talented. I mean, I don't need to walk you through that. But to him, he's like, and then she's on hunger gain. No, she had to like acquire the skills. Right. So at 14. Her thing was a bone. Winter's bone. Winter's bone. That was a first rule. Which is a true story from Arkansas. And she was a kid. I think she won, got like an Oscar nominee. I'm not movie Mike. I'm hearsay movie Bobby.
Starting point is 00:09:31 She was nominated, but didn't win. Okay. lunchbox, go ahead. So explain to me, she's just added millions of people just walking in New York because if you ever been to New York, it's the most crowded place in the world, it's annoying, there's people everywhere.
Starting point is 00:09:44 And someone just sees this 14-year-old girl and say, hey, we think he'd be great on TV. Like, how weird would that be? But if it's your job to look at for people that might look good on TV, then you notice more people. Pamela Anderson, sure. She was in a stadium, in a crowd,
Starting point is 00:10:00 and the jumbotron went on her, and the person went and found it. I mean. That's crazy. She's an adult. She wasn't at the, she was younger at the time. But she was an adult. So do these guys go up to the actual kid, like 13 year old?
Starting point is 00:10:12 Parent if they're a parent, if they're kids. Yeah, I don't. But there's also like scammies. You should never pay money for anything. Don't pay money for headshots through the groups. My friend, I have two friends, but my, I guess my friend Raymond told me this story. But his brother Robert wanted to be like a commercial actor. And this guy was like, I think you'd be great.
Starting point is 00:10:32 because Robert's like a big dude and he was like, I think it would be great for doing like character acting his character acting is different than what commercial like normal and so then Robert paid
Starting point is 00:10:40 for all these head shots and stuff and then turns out the guy was scamming and when they went to the office of the guy he had moved out of the office completely and so the whole
Starting point is 00:10:48 her own family was upset about it yeah oh my gosh what's up everybody loves Ray I thought you're going to go about I thought you're going to talk about your friend Ray
Starting point is 00:10:57 that you know was in a how long did you catch that I got it right away at Robert and Ray lunchbox. I thought you were talking about Ray Ray. Raymoondo got put in a basement of what you were going. I don't think he paid anything. No, he didn't accept his integrity and all the naked pictures of him from some dude that claimed just from Express. Yeah, I was discovered at a mall too. Discovered not. That's where he found you right? You know what? I think you were profiled. Oh yeah. And then possibly, and I say this in not a joking way, because I know. How old were you, by the way, before I say this? I was with the show. I was with the show. I was. like 23 out of college. And a bit victimized.
Starting point is 00:11:36 Mm-hmm. Because you were put down in the basement and some dude told you you were being photographed or express in your underwear. True. Vulnerable situation. And you were just like, here I am. Thought I was going to be the next big thing.
Starting point is 00:11:48 Did you think it was weird, Ray, that he like came up to and talked to? I mean, that wasn't the only photo shoot I'd done. He was like, well, Jennifer Lawrence and I... But that's a good point too, which, Bobby, you've said that before about money. Like, you should never pay money. And I remembered that. Because my daughter got some email about something. And of course she replied and signed up for it. And she was like,
Starting point is 00:12:05 mom, we can get on this Zoom and they'll like, will you please? Like, I want to get more experience with, you know, modeling and doing things. And so I was like, okay, fine. So got on this Zoom. And then you sit through it for 30 minutes. And then afterwards they start asking for money and signing up for things. And I was like, so sure, we're not going to do this. Like, I've heard you don't pay, you shouldn't have to pay for money. If they want you and you get hired for something, they'll take a cut. But we're not going to pay anything up front. And that's a good conversation to have now. Especially with your kids.
Starting point is 00:12:34 The caveat is this. There's money that has to be paid because if someone's like, hey, we'd like for you to audition, do you have a headshot? But you never should pay the company that's asking you to work with. So if they're like, do you have any headshots, sometimes you have to go out and pay somebody completely independent to take pictures of you and make these shots, right? But it's if my agency sees Amy and it's like, hey, I think it'd be great.
Starting point is 00:12:55 we're doing these Christmas movies and I've seen your bathroom scene and it's all about Christmas in the bathroom and so Amy's like great I was fully close to clarify they don't know like it's I really was in a movie in the bathroom but you weren't a Christmas movie in the bathroom
Starting point is 00:13:10 I know it just sounds you know everyone knows I think everybody knows I'm kind of a joke just kind of a little improv thing here and I wanted to be real and if I were like we just need you to have your head if you have head shots come on in
Starting point is 00:13:25 and you're like, oh, I don't have any. I should go get some. Okay, that's not scam. Right. If they're like, and we left for you to have headshots, but we need you to take them with us and that's going to cost $1,200 bucks. That is scam.
Starting point is 00:13:36 Right, which this is what I was on. And there was probably 50 other parents on this Zoom and they just probably shoot their shot. And it's like, okay, if 48 of us are like, red flag, but then two people sign up, then bam, it was worth their time. It's like the prince of that South African country. I said a bunch of money too.
Starting point is 00:13:52 I know, but this was right here in America. I know. I just like, I wanted that one in 50 shot. I wanted to be that. I wanted to have the rupees. I don't know anything about Bitcoin. Because again, I've mentioned this. Never have been Bitcoin, bro.
Starting point is 00:14:04 Never was like getting Bitcoin. I know, but to us, you're Bitcoin bro. You are Bitcoin. You are Bitcoin. Bro, it's wild. Or you crypto, bro. Oh, you're crypto bro. Here's the thing.
Starting point is 00:14:15 I don't know enough about it to be a bro. I don't know. I don't know. But there's, you know, bro is relative. Because, like. I know, I'm telling you, guys, it's, here hey Mike come look at this so Bitcoin is now for one Bitcoin $94,000 that Bitcoin I don't have $94,000 oh yeah he does not I've seen that's what one Bitcoin unless you went up this is how much
Starting point is 00:14:33 I've made just on Bitcoin wow yeah no it's stupid I get and I spent like a 10th of that and I forgot what do you spend it on what do you mean no I don't know no I haven't spent the money I should cash I'm a carcin no you want to know hey and I'll say this before we have to go to the show of all like the stock go do stocks do this I don't know much about it have them like in Robin Hood account and for example I have sometimes I'll be honest I just push a button I'm like let's see what this does and so I have something called I shares Misha china ETF and I have two shares and I bought them for 66 bucks a share right like that's the kind of crap that I do and sometimes I buy stuff I know like I have Peloton which is not which has lost to me a bunch not a bunch
Starting point is 00:15:22 but I have lost on Peloton. Just to show you guys, this is not like millions of dollars because I don't know anything about the stock market. Peloton, I've lost $187 over the past, like, year and a half, right? Okay. Now, that being said, you want to know what I made the most on
Starting point is 00:15:39 is freaking Ray Mundo's Royal Caribbean Group. So should we get in on that? Now, no. But this is when it was like a nickel. COVID. And Ray's like, it's COVID. My buddy said, and I don't care about his buddy. But I was like...
Starting point is 00:15:52 The South Beach? No. But I didn't even put a bunch of money into it. I just put like a few hundred bucks. It wasn't like what stock traders do. Ray, I bought... I got in for $93. I have in this in just Royal Caribbean $1,064.
Starting point is 00:16:07 Yeah! Dang. It's way more than Navidia. As far as like what I've made and Ray was just kind of saying that crap. And Navidia's done pretty good. That keeps going kind of up and down a little because now it's kind of a mainstream. thing. So now it's probably hit near where it's not going to make any massive jumps.
Starting point is 00:16:27 I mean, we're up 40% in the video. Since the beginning, yes. It's not bad. And they make chips, like microchips or something? What's the total plus on it? I bought it at the same time to try mine. We are plus $1,7.7. But how much do we put in total, like $3,000 or something?
Starting point is 00:16:44 Yeah. It's pretty good. We put in... Each of us put in like $1,000 over at the time. You don't remember that, Amy? Yeah, we bought 43 shares so far. I mean, we are, we're banking. So I have 15 shares to track it.
Starting point is 00:16:57 I forget. And we should catch out. No, we should not. We should, like, catch out some of it. All my experts are saying, buy. We should buy more. What experts? Down here it says analyst ratings.
Starting point is 00:17:08 It says 93% say buy, 7% say hold. Zero percent say sell. So we are not selling. That's why you zag. My whole career is zagging. They zig, you zag? My whole career is like, everybody says, do this. And I'm like, no, I'm doing the opposite.
Starting point is 00:17:22 You just said you don't know what you're doing. I'm listening to the experts. I know what I'm doing. I zag. Except I don't know anything. That's my whole stock portfolio right there. But I bought Bitcoin and it's like a few hundred bucks for a couple weeks at a time, every couple weeks, and then forgot about it and then turned it back on one day. And it was up like $12,000 at one point. And now it's like way, way, way above that without me knowing anything. I have F. What's F? Ford Motor. I've lost $2 on that. Their symbol is just F? That's cool. I have shoe Steve Madden I'm down
Starting point is 00:17:55 96 cents overall yeah but you've had that for like 20 years in a different account I have more I don't know how to get in that account though I'm like that you're locked out
Starting point is 00:18:03 I don't know how to get into it it's a different app there's billions in there you can't get to it that's like that crypto right he's got like billion I don't even know how much is in there it can't be
Starting point is 00:18:12 I don't even know what the app is anymore oh that sucks I got to figure it out huh it's not coinbase I'm going to find out, and I'm going to try to open it on the air. It's probably blockchain. No, like, blockchain is all crypto.
Starting point is 00:18:32 But this is not crypto. I bought a bunch of stocks when I was living in Austin, because I had a sick one, a bunch of stocks. I probably spent $200 total, but I've not touched them. And you don't know what app you got those on? No, and they're just sitting in there. I mean, the two popular ones back in the day, I was going back then, were Coinbase and blockchain. But it has nothing to do with crypto. It's pre-crypto.
Starting point is 00:18:51 So, yeah. And in Blot, it doesn't matter. I can't even explain it right because I won't know it. It's on crypto. Before all that, then you'd have like a little key. Like, I have one of those keys where it has a four-digit password. It's almost like a USB drive. That's the most secure place because it's off the computer.
Starting point is 00:19:08 I need, it's not crypto, though. That's what I'm saying. Oh, you don't have crypto then. So this is like a meme stock? No, no. Sorry, I checked in. I'm right. You jumped in.
Starting point is 00:19:15 Sorry, I apologize. I typed in something up. Yeah, you should apologize. Yeah. Off the air to me. You're sorry. Good. No, no.
Starting point is 00:19:21 Whenever they first. started to have those apps where you could buy stocks. Yes, yeah. Like Dogecoin had their own app for a while. I'm not talking about any sort of freedom crypto. Okay, yeah. This is like, oh my gosh. Stock stocks.
Starting point is 00:19:31 Yes. And I was like, oh, you can buy it on your phone. And I bought like four stocks. So crypto. Yeah. Oh, good. All I see you're saying, I'm sorry. Yeah, I know exactly you're talking about, but I don't know the name for it.
Starting point is 00:19:41 There's a bunch. Yeah, there's a few of those apps. I'll figure it out. And maybe I'll do it in the post show. We got to go to the real show, though. Thank you, everybody. We're going to get started with our show. and then we will be back later on to do the post show.
Starting point is 00:19:50 But in reality for you guys, it'll be like two or three minutes. All right, bye. A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care what you're saying. Yep, that's me, Clifford Taylor the 4th. You might have seen the skits, the reactions, my journey from basketball to college football,

We break down budgeting, financial discipline, and how to build real wealth starting with the mindset shifts, too many of us were never, ever taught. Financial education is not always about, like, I'm going to get rich. That's great.

Will Ferrell's Big Money Players and IHeart Podcasts presents soccer moms. So I'm Leanne.
Starting point is 00:21:59 This is my best friend Janet. And we have been joined at the hips since high school. Absolutely. Now a redacted amount of years later, we're still joined at the hip. Just a little bit bigger hips. Wider. This is a podcast. We're recording it as we tailgate our youth soccer games in the back of my Honda Odyssey.
Starting point is 00:22:14 with all the snacks and drink. Sidebar. Why did you get hard seltzer instead of beer? They had a bogo. Well, then you got it. Do you want a white collar something here? Just a hit it. Oh, what are y'all doing?
Starting point is 00:22:25 Microphones? Are you making a rap album? Come on. How did you move? I would buy it. Cuts through the defense like a hot knife through sponge cake. That sounds delicious. Oh, you're lucky.
Starting point is 00:22:38 I'm not a drug addict. You're lucky I'm not an alcoholic. You are. You are. I love this team. And I'm really. trying to be a figure in their lives that they can rely on. Oh.
Starting point is 00:22:52 Listen to soccer moms on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. I'm Daniel Jeremiah. And I'm Greg Rosenthal. And this is 40s and free agents. The games may be over, but the NFL never stopped. This is my favorite part of the calendar. Yeah, mine too, Greg. Free agency, the Combine.
Starting point is 00:23:12 The NFL draft, Pro Days, trades. This is where teams reshape their future. This is where Daniel Jeremiah makes his money. On 40s and free agents, we break down every move that actually matters. From my draft evaluations, mock drafts, and team fits. To my top 101 free agents and how real rosters are built, cap space, contracts, and all the tough decisions included. You got quarterbacks on the move. We got teams rebuilding.
Starting point is 00:23:38 It's hope season. Yeah, absolutely. It's hope season. We'll tell you what's real, what's noise, and what it means for your favorite team. Smart analysis, real conversations every week. I don't know about the smart, but definitely analysis. Listen to 40s and free agents on the IHeart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. American soccer is about to explode.
Starting point is 00:24:03 The World Cup is coming. Ramers sending on to Ernie Stewart the chip. I'm Tad Ramos. I'm Tom Boe. On our podcast, Inside American Soccer, you'll get the real storylines. I'm not worried about Polisic. I'm not worried about Balagan. I'm not worried about McKinney.
Starting point is 00:24:24 My only concern is what happens in the back. The biggest decisions. If you're going to look at stats and numbers, he has no shot at making this World Cup team. And the truth about the U.S. national team. It wouldn't be a huge surprise if our team ends up in the quarterfinals or potentially a great run into the semifinals. The World Cup is almost here.
Starting point is 00:24:45 Experience it all with us. Listen, Inside American Soccer with Tom Bogart and Tabramos on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcast. wherever you get your podcast. It's time for the Bobby Bones Post Show. Here's your host, Bobby Bones. If you were listening to the pre-show, before we went on the year,
Starting point is 00:25:15 I was talking about an account that I had, I don't know how much, probably put $4,500 bucks in it years and years ago, and I don't know what it was. I'm trying to find it. I have found the account, I mean, the app. I don't know my credentials.
Starting point is 00:25:30 Oh. And I don't know my email address that it was under. You can do like forgot username, right? I don't know where it would send it. Oh, that's a good point. And then it's going to lock me out if I try wrong. I can try remember user ID, use security code,
Starting point is 00:25:45 log on. Forgot ID. Can you do forgot ID and forgot password and forgot who I am? Yeah, yeah, yeah, all of it. You can? You can? I think so. Let me try. Because it might tell you what email it's sending it to. Or a phone number. Phone number. I mean, I've only had one phone number. I have a new number but there's no phone number option here and I've only had one number for like 16 years
Starting point is 00:26:07 except a new one I have but email addresses I had a few let me try this one there's no way it's this one what is that an email address mm-hmm do you still have access to that one it says if it is or email it to you dude if I open this up and it says millions of dollars in it we're all going to chucky cheese you promise yeah let's go but I sent it to my like current email and nothing's coming so it must not be the right one I'll just Just try to figure it. Be patient. You know the one thing I'm not good at?
Starting point is 00:26:35 Patience. Well, there's a lot. But the one thing I'm the worst at, I should say, patience. That's true. No patience. Okay, so we'll see. Ray, what's, because we did this before the show started, I don't even remember, but I have written down blooper bit. What is it of?
Starting point is 00:26:50 You guys were doing the country minute that airs? Oh, yeah. Oh, when it was like, why care? So we do this thing and it airs on a bunch of affiliates and it's like the country minute, I think they may sell a commercial in it or something. I'm not sure how it airs. and it's like this thing happens and we don't write it who writes a country minute now here on staff
Starting point is 00:27:07 and Abby and Abby has a hard job because every day she's got to find three stories it's not right Abby yeah yeah some days are more slim than others so here is us recording part of it this morning and just how we feel about it usually whenever we're like these stories are not the best go ahead hey it's Bobby Bones coming up we'll talk about CMA country Christmas that airs tonight we'll give some details who's putting out another Christmas record
Starting point is 00:27:30 and Carrie Underwood when she starts listening to Christmas music. Other things you don't care about as well. Next. She loves listening to Christmas this time of year. Find out why next. But it's kind of, some people aren't listening. Oh, sorry. That's next on the Bobby Bone Show.
Starting point is 00:27:48 Sorry, I talked over that. I don't know who's talking. I thought that was in the recording. Sorry. Oh, I thought it was in the recording too. So anyway, it's like, hey, any other stuff you don't care about, as a joke. That's funny. Well, yeah, it was the Carrie thing was like,
Starting point is 00:27:59 Because even the Carrie Not Abby's fault But you were doing the tease But then the content we had done just before that Nobody cares It was like That felt bad for Abby because she's got to find stories I'm like here's Carrie Underwood sharing
Starting point is 00:28:12 Why she listens to Christmas music We all do Yeah that's what happens Because it's December And that was the tease I mean in the clip it was a great clip What'd you say Kind of more about like
Starting point is 00:28:25 It gets you in the mindset And in the spirit And remembering like What Christmas is really about. See, it would have been cool if Carrie was like, because it's Christmas. Idiots. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:37 Okay, okay, okay. So there's that. Coming up next, confirmation that Carrie's a Christian. Yeah. Or something like that. I made all these notes. No, but it's the, Jesus is the reason for the season is what out. I can't read them anymore.
Starting point is 00:28:51 Oh, got you. I can't read that. No, my notes. I need shoe help. I have some shoes and my feet keep sliding out of them. because I've had them for a long time and now do I need to Have you seen those socks that have grips on them?
Starting point is 00:29:03 Yeah Yeah, we wear them Trambling parks Or Pilates I might have to wear those with these shoes Because they're so slick Because they've had them for so long Oh but that's gonna make your feet tickle
Starting point is 00:29:12 I have hundreds dude But if you press on them When y'all walk on those does it tickle your feet? No I don't know I'd put some on I went to stretch lab once Yeah Or they stretch you And then they did a good job
Starting point is 00:29:24 But I was like Man if I didn't have to drive somewhere to do this It'd be awesome because they mean they stretch you right and I can I stretch myself and I stretch but if you have to if I didn't have drive 15 minutes there and 50 minutes back it'd just be awesome if I could like have that at my house but it's not worth 30 minutes driving to me um but they give you those socks to put on so you feel good after a good stretch like that when they stretch you yeah yeah yeah and then you try to be a little tougher uh okay so I think that's so what can my shoes are so
Starting point is 00:29:56 Like they're slide on, but they're so slick now because they're just, what do I do? I don't know. I feel like those. You know, any cobblers? Any local cobblers? Those would bother my feet. Did the leather stretch or something? No, I think it's just been worn so many times.
Starting point is 00:30:08 It's lost. What about like insoles? I see those at the Walgreens and stuff. I don't know if you can insol these. I do have a cobbler for you. I just had to fix my, remember when that shoe broke on the date, I had to go get it. Cobblers exist? Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:23 That's a real thing. I thought you're being funny. Peach. No, that's real. sold. Or like your boots, like cowboy boots? All you do is resold them.
Starting point is 00:30:32 What do you think this means? Hang light. Hang some lights. Are you hanging lights? No, this would be something about today like in this capacity because I don't make notes for home. Hey, I know what wife list is
Starting point is 00:30:47 because I wrote that down as a bit to maybe do on the show. We were just talking about Christmas last night and it's like, I told her. So I got a tough river to cross because I go all out and I try to be super creative with Christmas and her birthday is like a week after Christmas
Starting point is 00:31:01 and it's hard and I never want to say that to her because her whole life she's had them combined and it sucks to have your birthday and Christmas right by each other so I never am like do you know how hard it is but she knows but I never say it. I didn't say it last night although I wanted to more than ever actually
Starting point is 00:31:13 and so she brought up what are you on do for Christmas like what do you want I never know what I want and if I can be honest because I just get myself whatever I want. You are the hardest to shop. I just get it.
Starting point is 00:31:25 get myself whatever I want and I understand that and I was like well what do you want is it because I just what's going to happen is I'm going to pick out a couple things and I'm going to be creative about it and I'm going to spend a decent amount of money on it and then there's only a 50% chance you like it and she was like what do I make you a list of things there you go and I'm like but is that the same if you're me a list I'm just buying from the list you got me yeah but I think we've been doing that for years but I like to that part of my thing is like thinking of stuff make that not your thing I know that's what I want to make it not anything no gifts nothing The list is awesome.
Starting point is 00:31:57 I have the whole list. Like, having a list is so easy. But then she opens it, she already knows she asked for it. It's not a thing to surprise. But it doesn't, she doesn't know what from the list you're going to get her. You don't get her everything on the list. This is what I said to you. There'll be things on that list that she wants more than other.
Starting point is 00:32:10 And if I don't get that, there's disappointment there. Well, that's the game. No, that's the time. I would rather. You got to decide which one she's most excited about. Right. Hey, okay, so that's wife list. I can.
Starting point is 00:32:21 Although, I will say, like, one time, my wife gave me a list and I got her like these shoes from the list and she's never worn them. I'm like, what the. I got Amy a clock once for Oh, man. Stop, stop, stop. Tell me more about it. It was like the most expensive thing on there.
Starting point is 00:32:34 Did I tell you I found it? Because I'm like, you know what? I'm starting to have some success. I'm going to buy somebody something nice. This is when I first started having like, like actually having money. Stop acting like this clock. Amy, I can't hear him. And I was like, I'm buying this clock.
Starting point is 00:32:45 It was gold. Really? No, it's bronze. Antique bronze. You being bronzed? From pottery bar? I'm being a bronzed right now. Don't.
Starting point is 00:32:55 That's bronze. racist. I just feel like this is like I was walking uphill with no shoes on in the snow. It's the most expensive thing on the registry. I'm like, I'm going hard. I'm going to show her. Yeah, it was. It was not. No, it was not. When I got there, it was most expensive. Whatever. They still have it. And I bought it. And then, she never even put it in her house. Stay in a box in her closet. It's not true. Where is it now? Who knows? I just found it during my move. You should bring it in. We put that next to the lockbox is a hoodie. Oh my gosh. I found it. I went. They still sell it. Like 18 years later. one. How much is it now?
Starting point is 00:33:27 This might be the pocket version. Oh, it's smaller. This one wasn't a pocket version. So do you still, did you move the clock with you or did you throw it in the dumpster off the side of your house? No, I have it. Hang light.
Starting point is 00:33:37 Calm down. Do you have it hanging up? Hug light. Or is it still in a closet? Hang light. Is it a happy light? Oh, found it. I have the large.
Starting point is 00:33:46 Okay, there's a medium and a large. Let's just go ahead and assume that I registered for the large because you're making it seem like it was. It's $79. It went down a lot over the year. It was like a $300. It was not a $300. It was. It was definitely.
Starting point is 00:34:02 You've lost your mind. Do you even remember what it looked like? That's like when you buy video games when they first come up. I'm not even sure it's real anymore. We've told the story so many times. I'm not even sure that the clock is real. It is real because I still have the clock. Amy, how would he know it's real?
Starting point is 00:34:15 Every time you went to your house, it wasn't up. That's true. Whatever. He wouldn't know. He didn't know what it looks like because he never saw it. It was a very thoughtful gift. Thank you. And I would knock on the door and stay my head and be like, wait.
Starting point is 00:34:24 I think the part of the story And she had every other clock up She had like 100 clocks It was like Alice in Wonderland Except for my clock That was weird man Whatever All right
Starting point is 00:34:32 Let's move on Yeah let's move on So I mentioned earlier And I'd asked Amy And again If you're watching on the live stream You were not a part of this Because we did this pre-show
Starting point is 00:34:43 Which is not on camera Because it's before the show starts And we are not prepared to be On camera before the show He mostly were grumpy And I use that as warm up time It's like calisthenics for a football game Yeah my face is all puffing and everything
Starting point is 00:34:53 that just woke up in the mornings He'd like great in the morning Like better than now Now you're like tired and weary I feel tired So I had asked Amy if she knew Kristen Chenoweth's cell phone number And we've had Kristen Chenoweth on the show
Starting point is 00:35:07 Kristen Chinoweth was the original Glenda And Wicked Kristen Chinoweth I say did with her I didn't see her because we were all different parts of the stage But in D.C. During the Kennedy Center Honors
Starting point is 00:35:19 Kennedy Center Honors where they honored Reba Lynn Manuel Miranda Share All these people Reba had asked me To come out and do the opening For her thing
Starting point is 00:35:30 So as soon as the show starts It was Who's the The singer The Latin singer From the 80s Rikii Martin Woman
Starting point is 00:35:37 Gloria Stephan Thank you She goes Welcome to the Kennedy Center honors It has like seven seconds Like here's Bobby Bones And I'm like What the crap
Starting point is 00:35:45 I'm first So I can walk out And I do a thing Tell a couple jokes Get mild laughter I swear to God They piped in some laughs Because I think
Starting point is 00:35:52 It's show business, man. They're used to that. I'm not ashamed to say that because I think they did. I'm not for sure they did. And I told a couple jokes that were kind of funny only. But they got good laughs on camera. Or maybe I was so nervous I couldn't hear the uproar of laughter there, which is probably not the case. So I'd tell some jokes, tell a couple stories. Boom.
Starting point is 00:36:13 Brooks and Dunn comes out. Kelly Clarkson comes out. Kristen Chenow comes out because she did Annie Get Your Gun. Rebo, did Annie get your gun? Did Annie get your gun? Whatever. So we have that shared experience. She's been on the show.
Starting point is 00:36:24 I follow her on Instagram. Does she follow me, though? It was a question. And I'm just going to DM her. Because I feel bolder when I'm with you guys here. Oh, we got your back. You don't have a back, but here I feel like. I don't know what that means, but we're here.
Starting point is 00:36:34 Yeah, exactly. Let's see, Chin. Okay, Chinoweth. 1.3 million followers. Dang. Okay. I am following. Let's see if she follows me.
Starting point is 00:36:43 Come on, come on, come on. Oh, no. She does follow me. But here's the thing. She follows 2007. 766 people. That's okay. But that's a whole lot.
Starting point is 00:36:54 So she probably didn't even care. Like, I follow 400 people. Yeah, but maybe she has more friends than you do. Oh, for sure she does. Yeah, yeah. There's no doubt about that. Okay. Shall I message her?
Starting point is 00:37:03 What shall I say? Be cool. Whatever it is, be cool. Dearest Kristen. Oh. What? No, I'll be like, yo, yo, yo. No, that's not cool.
Starting point is 00:37:12 Say, I know you're so popular. Hey, Kristen. But do you have time to do my podcast. Bobby here. That's kind of funny, man. That's actually good, right? Hope you're well. He didn't like it, Eddie.
Starting point is 00:37:21 He just ignored it. He just kept going. Just talking about you on the show. If you're in town, I'd love to have you come and do my interview series. She lives here, Amy? I'm not Amy, but I answer that. No, no, you were right and I didn't want to bother you. You know where she lives?
Starting point is 00:37:49 Don't go there, lunchbox. No, I'm just saying, if we know, Are you sure she? Yes. Oh, okay. Thinking about dropping by? Hey, maybe I'm walking the dog in the neighborhood. Okay.
Starting point is 00:38:09 NBD. No big deal. I like that. Have a great holiday. Bobby. And I'll put my cell phone number. Okay, I said, hey, Kristen, Bobby here. Hope you will.
Starting point is 00:38:23 Just talking about you on the show, if you're in town, let me know. I'd love to have you. I'd love to have, I mean, if you're in town, let me know, would love to have you come and do my interview. series from my studio in Nashville if not NBD have a great holiday bobby that works huh yeah you know it's funny as he asks what should I write and then he didn't let us give any suggestions I think it's just us being here yeah yeah I don't know no no no no I didn't ask you guys that I asked Amy and if I would say something bad she'd been like that's not cool you guys are going go yo yo yo
Starting point is 00:38:53 and where does she live so I can go walk the dog in her neighbor went on in the lunchbox said so I care none about what you guys would say in that situation there are other situations where I do value it, that is not one. But Amy didn't even give you one suggestion on what to say. Right, so we covered. He's got it. No, but I would have asked, what about this? We're good.
Starting point is 00:39:09 Okay. All right. Amy is the adult in the room. That's not true. I'm the oldest. Not always the adult, though. Correct. I just get anxious about asking people to do stuff.
Starting point is 00:39:20 And if people ask me to do stuff, I don't care at all. Like, if I can't, I will. If I can't, I won't. And I don't think that thing about it. A prime example. Like, two of my... dearest friends. I would say they're on my MySpace top eight of and Ben, Rector and Brett Eldridge. And like they are dear, dear friends. And I,
Starting point is 00:39:40 we were on the text group. And I was like, hey, all three of us should get together and do a podcast because all three of us are super anxious about different things. Like an episode or a whole podcast? No, not a whole series. Oh. Because Brett's doing Christmas shows. Ben's about to go on tour. But all of us like are, um, We definitely are special in our own ways, but in very similar ways. And so I was like, we should all do it. And they're back. Brett's like, I'm in because it had to be before Brett left to go do his Christmas tour.
Starting point is 00:40:12 And Ben, yeah, Killer Bees. Yeah, Killer Bees. Do you all call yourselves that? No, but I thought that. I was like, that's funny. That's good. It's not. I was already thinking of the title.
Starting point is 00:40:20 The killer bees. And so Ben's like, yeah, man, let's go. We all live right by each other. The anxious bees. Yeah, the anxious bees. That's better. We hang out. All of us.
Starting point is 00:40:32 And yet once they said yes, I never followed up. Because I was like, they really don't want to do it. All they did was say yes. And these are people that I know. And I'm like, they don't even want to do it. I'm not even going to do it. They probably were pressure to do it because another one jumped in and said yes. You know they would say no if they didn't want to do it.
Starting point is 00:40:45 You don't do that with any of us in this room. Don't care enough. Dang. Kill a beast. You guys get paid. What? You get paid. You can't say that anymore.
Starting point is 00:40:55 You think that's why we're here. Stop, so, so, stop. Eddie. Eddie, stop. You can't say that. You think we're doing this for the money? Yeah, man. That's all we see is dollar size?
Starting point is 00:41:03 Yeah. Darn right. Also, but friendship-wise, it's been long enough to where that's not the case because we also were friends with you when it wasn't. I'm saying that you said this. Like this, we have to come to work. I mean, when I first started the job, look, it was a two-year thing. I was doing it for fun and I was leaving. But you were still going to be my friend.
Starting point is 00:41:19 I literally quit, actually. I know, but my point. We had a going away party for me. I know. I got to me a big picture and we all signed it. Yeah, I still have it. Well, I was there. I went.
Starting point is 00:41:28 Eddie wasn't working for the show, but Dave was my friend, so he came. Yeah, I went. My point is, I said goodbye to you, Amy. I know. I took a pay cut to come here. Brett, it was leaving, Ben. I just was like, I'm never, I'm not, I am not even following it back up because I feel like they didn't really want to do it to begin with.
Starting point is 00:41:43 But I feel that way. And I wish I wouldn't. For you to work through. I will never work through. I refuse. That's, well, with that attitude. I refuse. Lunchbox wants to apologize to the entire show.
Starting point is 00:41:54 Sports-related, feel free if you'd like to. You can go ahead. Yeah, guys, I wanted to say I'm sorry that at the beginning of the year, I put the San Francisco 49ers in the hat for our Super Bowl bet, and things have gone south. And I mean south in a big way for the San Francisco 49ers this year. So we will not be winning that bet, and I just wanted to apologize and say, I'm sorry. No need.
Starting point is 00:42:19 That's showbiz, baby. That happens. We all know the risk. Yeah, we know the risk. Yeah, so I didn't know if we wanted to do another team now. No, I don't. No, either do I. I don't.
Starting point is 00:42:28 No more teams. No teams. I put the chiefs in this year. Oh, look at that. Don't worry. No, no, no, no. Because last year I put the Saints in to be funny and they won. Uh-huh.
Starting point is 00:42:38 Like, I was like, I feel like the Saints probably going to win, but if they do, we're going to be rich. And then they didn't. So don't feel bad. Everybody got hurt. Everybody got hurt. I mean, everybody got hurt. It was just disaster after disaster. Oh, no, to be popular.
Starting point is 00:42:49 I mean, I picked the Cowboys. Hey, dude. What? What are you shaking your head? Hey, dude. You heard him. You heard what he said after they won? What?
Starting point is 00:42:59 That there's a chance. We're coming. You know, and you know who said it. It's so stupid. Micah? Mm-hmm. Michael Parsons said, hey, we ain't done yet. Oh, they're done.
Starting point is 00:43:06 They're done. And I looked out of my way. You're crazy. Yeah, yeah, you're out of your mind. But, uh, okay. Ray Mundo says this is becoming a pandemic at airports and airlines can't do anything about it. Help me out, Ray.
Starting point is 00:43:17 I wrote this down yesterday. Yeah, so it's called pre-board. And I'm not talking about the soldiers that serve our country. I'm not talking about parents with kids. That's fine. I'm talking about the parents. people that fake like they're handicapped. And apparently all you have to do is just go to the airport people and say, hey, I have a medical condition. They give you a wheelchair. You get to board on
Starting point is 00:43:35 Southwest before anybody else. And you just have a basic ticket. You haven't paid for anything special. And the reason I say they're faking it is because me and my wife are on the way to Vegas. And these people are on the plane. They got on in wheelchairs and they're walking to the bathroom. And so that tells me that they're faking like they're injured. But that's not even the end of my conclusion that these people were faking it. We go to get off the plane. These people boarded with wheelchairs. And all of a sudden
Starting point is 00:44:02 in the jetway, we have got jetway Jesus because these people are walking again. Hallelujah. And the airport on the way you have to be landing. Yes. They got on the plane in wheelchairs. They left to Vegas.
Starting point is 00:44:18 They could all their arms, all their legs. They were on into Vegas. The Lord had healed them. Wow. But they were able to pre-board and that's all they needed it for you and they were faking it. And the airport can't do anything about it until Southwest does a way with their where you can sit wherever you want. No, they'll still let you on if you're on a wheelchair first. So what you're saying is they can't be like prove it. Right. Or how did you're, they can't ask questions about that. That's someone's... No, got pilots in the family. They said there's
Starting point is 00:44:47 no way. I kind of like this now. Huh. Riding that down. Are you sure they were faking it, Fagan it, Ray? Like, for sure, for sure. Unless Airport Jesus, Airplane Jesus got in there. Right. Yeah, Eddie, how did they walk up the jet bridge when they got to Vegas? Well, because like my mom... Well, you can walk in a little amounts, but if you get to the airport, that's a lot at the air. It's a lot of walking. I can even understand going to the bathroom with no wheelchair in the airplane.
Starting point is 00:45:06 Not a lot of walking to get to the bathroom. Like, my mom can walk, but she has bad knees and rods in her legs. So when she gets the airport, she gets a wheelchair to take her all the way. Right. But have you ever seen when she hits the jetway and she starts slightly jogging to get to those slot machines, then
Starting point is 00:45:22 that means she's never been affected by Jetway Jesus. Oh, yeah, I guess so. Well, it's a valid point. Jetway Jesus. Jesus saves and hills in the air. Well, yeah.
Starting point is 00:45:34 Okay. Speaking of flying, two Delta flight attendants fail breathalyzer before flight. Flight attendants. That's okay. Give them a break. Like what day blow?
Starting point is 00:45:43 No, they can't. If there's an emergency, they may not be able to respond. That'll sober them up. If something crazy happens, you say, oh, that sobered me up. Oh, yeah. The skies were a little too friendly, they say, from CBS News
Starting point is 00:45:54 for a recent Delta Airlines International Flight. Two flight attendants failed a breathalyzer test over the legal limit for crew members. I don't know what the legal limit is for crew members, though. I mean... Oh, listen to this. Because I don't know what the legal limit is. Mike, maybe you can look it up.
Starting point is 00:46:08 Listen to this. Two flight attendants failed a breathalyzer test with a female attendant showing a blood alcohol seven times the legal limit for crew members. Oh, oh! I didn't know there was a legal limit, though. For crew members? Like, it should be zero, right?
Starting point is 00:46:23 Like, no drinks? I don't know. Like, your job? Probably no drinks. In the U.S., the FAA recommends eight hours between drinking and flying that employees be removed from their duties. So I guess, Mike, is this pilots and flight attendants? Same roles?
Starting point is 00:46:36 I feel like that should be the same role. I think flight attendants should be able to have a drink. They got to deal with a bunch of idiots. Like, you need a drink sometimes to be a flight attendant. Like, not enough to impair you from making emergency decisions, but a little bit when the guy won't shut up by not getting enough peanuts. That's true. Like, when you go to the bar, sometimes the bar,
Starting point is 00:46:50 Sometimes the bartender's like, here, shop for you. You know what? I'll take one with you. But he's a bartender. He's not in charge of like anybody's safety up in the air. Unless his next job is getting on the plane of flying it. You never know. He can be doing a double.
Starting point is 00:47:00 Okay. Yeah. I guess it's different. A woman gets past JFK Airport and Delta Security to fly to Paris. Yeah, that's so weird. I don't know the update on this. They called her a stowaway. What does that mean?
Starting point is 00:47:10 Because she was hiding away. From CNN. I'm glad you guys asked. Thank you for asking. There's a lot of questions about a woman stowed away last week on a Delta Airlines flight from New York to Paris, the 57-year-old woman managed to sneak past all JFK airport security and Delta Gate agents.
Starting point is 00:47:26 Flight attendants became suspicious when they noticed her moving from bathroom to bathroom during the flight. She didn't have a seat. Oh, man, that would be tough. Oh, my gosh. You're like a seat filler at an award show, but if you get caught...
Starting point is 00:47:39 Every time someone gets up, you're like, who... Down there. Oh, man, that's tough. A woman was supposed to fly. That sucks. And she's like a Russian, right? Yeah, she has a U.S. green card,
Starting point is 00:47:48 but she's a Russian citizen. But how did she get past? That's the thing. That's the problem. The woman was supposed to fly back to deal with the consequences, but Delta refused to fly her back. When she does return, she'll likely face charges from CNN. Dang.
Starting point is 00:48:01 That's incredible. Because once they're up there, they're not going to turn the plane around, right? Not unless you're bad. The pilot will say, you guys keep on doing this. I'll turn this thing around. Oh, yeah, like I do. That's right. That's right.
Starting point is 00:48:12 And stay in the bathroom that long? She didn't come back to America. They should partner. Biden should partner before he gets out of office. Hey, here's the thing about buying. pardon the son. I'd pardon all you guys for anything he did. Really? Yeah. Yeah, but after you said, you were...
Starting point is 00:48:26 It's your son. I don't care. It's like people to go, like, my son murdered somebody, I hide him. What do he do? I don't... There's some tax stuff. A lot of gun. There's some gun, yeah. He wasn't, when he wasn't supposed to. I was looking at all the... Every single president has pardoned people. They've done way worse. Really? Yeah, Trump pardoned his, what?
Starting point is 00:48:42 Father-in-in-law. Yeah. There's so many part... And everybody... It doesn't... Clinton pardoned, like, his brother-in-in-law. Yeah, buddies would be different, though, but cool. like that. Hey, it doesn't matter. They're my bros. I'm my last day. I'm pardoning everybody. I'm Joe Exotic. What you want, buddy? You want out of here? Let's go. He thought Trump was going to pardon him. That's what Joe Exotic thought about last time, but he never got pardoned. Chrisley? Would you throw Chrisley in there? No. Okay. Wait, do I have a problem with Chrisley? No. I don't know. Who do you have a problem with? See, I don't have a problem with him at all.
Starting point is 00:49:14 It's just that... Oh, there's daughter talking crap out of the see. I like Todd Crisley. He was nice to us on the show. And I like the mom. The daughter was the one. The daughter was the one. I think maybe she was reacting to like us maybe talking about her. We were reading the news. Savannah? Anybody that goes after lunchbox goes after me. Oh, yeah. Yeah, she was saying we need to get our facts straight and one percent of people are wrongly to make it.
Starting point is 00:49:32 And I think I said, well, it doesn't matter. I like, I pardon Todd Crisley. All the time, allegedly. I would pardon Todd Crisley. Yeah. I'd probably let Joe Exotic out. No. On December 1st, 24, Biden pardon his son.
Starting point is 00:49:49 What did he do? Who is convicted of illegally buying and possess- Everybody, quiet, please. Buying and possessing a gun. He also pleaded guilty to nine tax-related charges. This is Biden's son? Yeah, the broadly crafted pardon explicitly grants clemency for tax and gun offenses.
Starting point is 00:50:05 I mean, if ever my kid, listen, people would be like, if my kid killed somebody, I'd hide them. Well, I think what I heard, too, is if- Flikes-Cobarus in the club. If Harris had become president, maybe, I don't know, that he wouldn't have maybe done it, but since the administration is switching and people are kind of going after him, they might unfairly, you know.
Starting point is 00:50:27 Oh, use him as. Yes, when it's not deserving of whatever he may get. Aside from all the political stuff, if it's my kid, I'm pardoning him. But depending on what they did. Correct. I don't care. Oh, if it's like big murder. Yeah, you can't do that.
Starting point is 00:50:41 Okay, medium murder, I'll pardon him. Big murder, no. Well, like, you know, if it's like a fight and then he accidentally kill someone, okay, maybe. I hear you. Like if the person hits their head and accidentally dies? The rights. Okay. That's different.
Starting point is 00:50:53 Yeah, that's happened. I know, and that's terrible. I know. Yeah. Listen. But I started to look to all the pardons. So when I read this, and everybody has to react angrily, regardless of what team you're on. Because basically, politics is high school football now, and you win, you win the state championship, right?
Starting point is 00:51:09 That's what it feels like all the time. Everybody wins. Like, state championship, we won. And I went through and looked at Trump's, and I looked at Obama's, and I looked at Clinton. Dude, there were like 20 way worse than this one. And what you do is you cluster them all at once on your last day. And then it's like, br-roop. I'm out of here, man.
Starting point is 00:51:32 Yeah, pretty funny. It'd be cool just to be able to pardon people, huh? George W. Bush. 70-7. Oh, that's H.W. Two, George W. Yeah. Man. What do he do? Well, who do he pardon? There's a bunch of them.
Starting point is 00:51:48 George W. Bush Jose Campion and Ignacio Ramos two U.S. Border Patrol agents who wounded drug smuggler and tried to cover up the incident. I'm not that that is. I went to college with him maybe.
Starting point is 00:52:04 Oh, I don't know. Maybe he just thought. Maybe he just really thought like, oh, dang. Somebody like domestic terrorism, they've like pardoned them. But like he doesn't know all these people, right? So people have to give them a list of like, it's people that he trusts or people that he knows or favors to people that he has that they do.
Starting point is 00:52:21 Like Bill Clinton, bro, did some pardoning. I'm like how many. Brod did some pardoning, man. Roger Clinton, he's played softball with him. Bill Clinton did 459 part of it. No, yeah, that's why he did some pardon. I was going to say, I wonder what the average is. Is that a lot or is that normal?
Starting point is 00:52:39 And we just see 459, we're like, wow, that's a lot. Yeah, Bill Clinton had like a clearance. Bill Clinton pardon himself? It's like clearance sale on pardons. What do you got? Shouldn't there be a limit? Because for whatever he did. There is no limit.
Starting point is 00:52:50 You're the president. There is a whole list of people pardoned by George W. Bush. Oh, yeah. Bush did 200. Oh, that's, okay. I mean, that's a lot, though. That's so a lot, but 459. Oh, yeah, I know.
Starting point is 00:53:05 Clinton went hard. Clinton did 459. And this is get out of jail. George H.W. Yeah, you're done. You walk out, dude. Wow. I mean, it is literally unlimited.
Starting point is 00:53:17 That's crazy. That doesn't seem right. The things that are crazy are Supreme Court Justice that get to serve their whole life. That's crazy. There are no term limits. That's crazy. Just in general. Governors, yes.
Starting point is 00:53:30 But being in the Senate, being in the House. That's good. It's totally insane. You can be five. There are 500-year-old. Yeah. I looked the other day, Methuselah is still in. Still representing Iowa.
Starting point is 00:53:41 George H.W. Bush 77 people. Ronald Reagan, 406 people. Wow, he was famous. Reagan went hard. do. Guys, am I reading this right? Jimmy Carter, 566 people. Whoa. Wait, did you say Obama's number? I didn't say, haven't seen it. Obama, 1,927? I think Obama just looked at a prison and said, you're all free!
Starting point is 00:54:01 He just didn't even know who was in there of what they did. He just, you get a freedom. You get a freedom. Yeah, Obama, show the first Trump one. What's he do there? Yeah, Obama said that most of his were drug charges that people... Yeah, for harsh. Yeah. But hey, good for him, yeah, because there were probably some that needed to be. You know what's weird about the drug stuff now is that people are still in jail for marijuana offenses when it's like legal in a bunch of states? They should be out. That's probably a lot of what Obama was doing. I don't know if it is or not.
Starting point is 00:54:27 So I'm not going to say, allegedly, my theory personally that I'm making up out of nowhere would be that hopefully E2 for people that were even racially profiled for it. Yeah. George Washington did 16. He did? Yeah. He was just getting started. He just found out the rule. I get to what?
Starting point is 00:54:47 And he's like, dude, you got an hour left on your presidency, so you got to go quick. Obama did so in his final acts of office to reduce what he... Okay, so Obama's were because he thought the punishments were too harsh. Yeah. Yeah, so a lot of those that with the specific... Wow, that's crazy. Will you go back, Mike? FDR, 3,687.
Starting point is 00:55:07 I think he just did everybody's last name towards the L? You're free. Oh, my goodness. Go to... Go back. to like the last ones like because that obviously Biden's not done so we only know the Biden son one go back to have Trump and then look at Obama um bank fraud that's it see stuff like that you're like they probably know somebody like here's one somebody in Iowa meat packing
Starting point is 00:55:35 magnet sent it's 27 years of prison for bank fraud in 2010 uh that was commuted Trump did that one I feel like the guy was probably rich and knew somebody was rich 27 years a long time Gosh. Let's see. What else we got out here? Try to see if I can find a bad one. Give me Obama. Let's see if Obama did it in.
Starting point is 00:55:54 And we're like, that's bad. Oh, yeah, Rod Blagojevich. I think, like, you might look this up. Like, four of the last seven governors of Illinois, something they've all been to jail. Really? Something like that. That's a stat that I just came up with out of my head,
Starting point is 00:56:08 and it probably isn't exactly right. But his was for some shadiness, I believe. Illinois, yeah, governors of Illinois that have been in jail. A study published, four out of the last 11 governors have spent time in prison. So I said four out of seven, but yeah, I knew it was something like that. That's impressive. A study published by the University of Illinois, Chicago ranked Illinois as the second most corrupt state in the nation with four out of the last 11 governors going to jail.
Starting point is 00:56:36 While they were in office or no? I don't know. Maybe they get caught after and I don't know. A study probably, yeah. That's wild. You do have the opportunity because you are in the mix. And if there are a decision to be made, and those decisions can affect...
Starting point is 00:56:56 It's crazy that there aren't limits to how much senators can go in and out of the stock market. What do you mean? They affect laws that make stocks go up and down. Like Nancy Pelosi, whatever she's up to, she's making a ton of money constantly. And it's like... And again,
Starting point is 00:57:17 you may Google that form of, Mike but it it's almost like there should be some rules against like maybe your cousin can or something but it doesn't look good all right if you find that let me know but boom a georg let's see what else I have I wrote down some other notes here um as Mike looks for that Morgan was sitting in a food hall fifth and broad oh you are people behind you yeah they were singing the show theme yeah they were doing the our intro that Reed sings. Because they saw you, you think?
Starting point is 00:57:54 Oh, wait, which one? Hold on. Which one? Because this is the Bibone Show is not the one reads sings. Sorry, sorry. I get him confused. The one that Eddie was singing. Wake up. Wake up in the morning. Oh, they were singing that one? Yeah, and then they did that. This is the... It was like, it was like I heard a chorus behind me of multiple. Were the kids or adults? They were adults.
Starting point is 00:58:10 They were adults. They know it was you? No. They had no idea. And I was just sitting there. I was like, oh, I heard that. And then I just kept listening. And they were talking about how much they loved the show. And they were like, hopefully we run into somebody from the show. I was just sitting there giggling. Oh, they knew she was there. They never said anything. Then you said hi to him?
Starting point is 00:58:25 No. So you big-time to them. Really? Did it big time? Then I wasn't going to interrupt them. They said, we hope we meet someone from the show and you didn't turn around. That's how you doing, girl. Guys, I'm going to walk up and like, hey, guess what I'm Morgan?
Starting point is 00:58:36 You want a picture? That feels weird. Oh. If they know the show that well, then they would have come up to me if they recognized me. You know what I mean? Like, I don't want to be the person who's like, hey, you would understand that. I'm not one talk. I'm not just a picture, but I go up to people with Pimp and Joy shirts.
Starting point is 00:58:50 What's up? And sometimes they're just like, hey. Yeah. I did that once. And most of the time people know. But then one time someone was like, I was like, your shirt. Like, because they were looking at. Like, I was crazy.
Starting point is 00:59:01 I'm like, this does. That's a show. With your shirt. And then they're like, oh, this is a gift. It is weird to go up to somebody and be like, oh, you know who I am. No, no. I wasn't saying you know who. No, I'm talking about from Morgan.
Starting point is 00:59:13 Yeah, yeah. I know. But if they're like, I hope we meet someone from the show. Maybe there's a way. I get what you're saying Morgan. So maybe there's a way you could be like, this might totally be weird and I totally get you may not know
Starting point is 00:59:24 Oh that's too much intro That's already too much You hope you make someone from the show Well here I am That's too That's something you would do That is not like Hey I like big time
Starting point is 00:59:34 I don't know I like that now Morgan will big time you in public Hey Pelosi's made 4 million And just NVIDia Yeah she Whenever she buys stock you should buy it Do you ever see those things on the internet
Starting point is 00:59:45 It's like Pelosi just bought it So you got to jump on it Tell you what she buys Yeah I think they have to disclose it but I just feel like She has to know something That's insider trading
Starting point is 00:59:54 Maybe she's like I'll get pardoned I would think that you can't say she has to Or that it is insider trading You could say that it is suspicious And a lot of people have shined a light On the suspicion of it You can't just declare things like that Because you will get in trouble
Starting point is 01:00:08 Or you will get sued No no I'm saying why else would she All of a sudden bite I mean it just seems like You just can't yell She knows Because again if they take that I asked the question
Starting point is 01:00:19 I said doesn't she No, you didn't. Can you say like I... You did not ask a question. I personally believe potentially she maybe knows something? As long as you're not stating it as a fact, you could be like, man, from everything I've read, it seems like something shady's happening in there. You could do that because you're just, yeah, they're just words you have to use. You can't, it can't be a declaration of what you know when it isn't true.
Starting point is 01:00:40 And you don't know. And you can't prove it. Yeah, no, I mean, she... Her net worth is $266 million. What? Let me tell you. Tell me. But she's also like way old.
Starting point is 01:00:53 And it's like, we got a limit. Right. We have to. She's still doing this. She's 84. Okay. This has got to stop. Yeah, because 84-year-olds aren't really in touch.
Starting point is 01:01:03 No. 84. You're not really. Joe Biden's 82. What about 80-year-olds? Are they in touch? I don't think so. I was with an 80-year-old.
Starting point is 01:01:13 Oh, you were? What night? On thanks. Whoa, whoa. And he was with it. No, he's not with it. No, that was a little blue pills. Hey, I need...
Starting point is 01:01:22 I did see an old man with tattoos. The reflective vest story. He looked really cool. Like an old man with sleeves. Those old man tattoos, though, are like navy. No, no, no. He looked like a rocker, but he must have been like 80, dude. It's all like Brutus from Popeye drawn weird.
Starting point is 01:01:37 Anchors. It's my case. All right. This is a funny story, and I couldn't read it on the show because of the names. And I wanted to make sure that I got the names in here. So there was a story Amy about during the Texas Texas A&M football game that two guys that wanted to get in the game dressed up as construction workers with like reflective vest and got in.
Starting point is 01:01:58 They were just like, yeah, we're working and said, let them in. Have you heard the story yet? No. Okay. So Aggies and Longhorns and College Station, tickets to the game were super expensive. It was the most expensive game ticket to the year on average this past year. And Texas A&M police department tweeted out they had arrested two men for wearing reflective vests and hard hats who had entered the stadium using fake credentials because they didn't have tickets at the game so they thought we'll dress up like we work in construction so they get
Starting point is 01:02:23 in a reporter in texas decided to do some uh of their own research and it turns out the guys had a couple names on their credentials the first guy's name was first name harry last name a z c r a c harry as crack that's awesome okay and the second the second one his first name was duncan and his His last name was Mick Cochoner. So Duncan McCockiner. Okay. Sick. Okay.
Starting point is 01:02:57 So, no, I get it. Duncan and McCockener. So here's the thing. If you're trying to get in by doing this, you can't do the fake names because that's going to make somebody to go. No, no. Because you could probably get in by doing this, but someone could look at a credential and go,
Starting point is 01:03:11 Duncan McCocken. Okay. Okay. Is any of this real? You got to be like John Smith on your credential. Sure. You can't do Harry Ball. What else do you put...
Starting point is 01:03:20 You can't, because that... What else do you put on the credential, though? Like, do you put, like, construction? Yeah, construction. What's on there? Like Kyle Field, like... Yep. Any of that.
Starting point is 01:03:31 You just make it look legit. You could probably also find a construction company that's somewhere working around. Oh. There's always upgrades to stadiums. Yeah, like, mm-hmm. So, but then all the sudden, you know... Like, revel-revely construction. When it's like Lucy Vaginaer,
Starting point is 01:03:48 you're like what that's what I'm saying the person looks at it and he goes well that's not is any of this real I'm calling the cops so they went one level too deep yeah yeah but they get in sorry I got distracted by the game they got in the game so it wasn't the names that got them got it was the names it got well it was I don't know they didn't say what got him got so it could have been the person read the name and then called security they kept showing a guy during the game with a hard hat with a hard hat I feel like that was for Home Depot it was Home Depot it was Home Depot it was home depo it was home depo but said Home Depot on his heart ass. Here's why, though. They were showing him because he was a Texas fan in the middle of all of the Cowfield. Oh, that's why he looked so miserable. Yes. No, he wasn't miserable because Texas was winning.
Starting point is 01:04:27 I know, but he looked like. No, he was miserable because he was surrounded. The thing was, he was the opposite fan of where he was sitting. Yeah. So that's why he had shown him. Every time I saw him, he looked miserable. Correct. Everyone was cheering around him and he was just sitting there with his heart out like a... Well, either way, Home Depot had to be happy because I was like, oh, Home Depot.
Starting point is 01:04:45 Home Depot. I thought it was like a commercial. But if that was the guy in the hard hat, that's what gave him away. Harry Ashcock? Yeah. That's a tough game. That's funny. Hey, question about that real quick.
Starting point is 01:05:01 The students, though, they get free tickets or like cheap tickets, right? Cheaper, but not free. You buy a packet of, you buy the student tickets before. But also, you can also buy the student tickets as an adult. You don't have to be a student to sit there. Oh, really? Like, students can sell those tickets. Mike, what do you have there?
Starting point is 01:05:15 What team is he? Yeah, he's a long horse, man. He's a longhorn. Okay, so he's a Longhorn fan in the middle of all of the cadets. Yes, and they're like doing all their, hey, hey, pass back. Cheers. And he probably was just annoyed. But he knew what he was getting into.
Starting point is 01:05:30 You wanted to get in the game. Yeah. But also, it's funny. And he probably was told he was on camera, so he just. It's funny. Yeah, it was awesome. Hold tight to it. What was the question?
Starting point is 01:05:39 So students are offered to buy tickets early pre-football season. You can buy a pack. Yes, they're much cheaper. But then you can also sell them, and you can sell them to anybody you want. That's why you have. Adult sitting there. Got it. Anybody, yeah, anybody can sit in those seats.
Starting point is 01:05:54 I think that's it. Check out 25 whistles. We have Devin McCordy, three-time Super Bowl champion for the Patriots. He's on today. He has a twin brother. Think about being twins. They both play in the NFL. But think about being twins.
Starting point is 01:06:09 And like one is better than the other. That would be tough. But they both play? Yeah, I'm talking about them specifically. happened before. Or, here's an example. Our trainer, Kevin Kluge played college football. His brother, his twin brother played for the Titans, he played college.
Starting point is 01:06:26 His brother was like an inch and a half taller and like 25 pounds bigger. Twin. So he just was physically like that much bigger and stronger, which made all the difference. Think about that. Twinness of it. Or he could be like Ray and your twin is nothing like you. Your twins is just massive and tall,
Starting point is 01:06:43 charming, and good looking. Well, Ray's good looking and charming. I don't ever see him. I can't ever find him. I'm like, oh, look down there.
Starting point is 01:06:54 And he's the perfect height for Bay. I'm kidding. Ray, you and your brother talk at all? No, I was going to say, I don't even know if he's alive.
Starting point is 01:07:01 Stop. That's not good, Ray. What do you feel it if he died? Like, like, oh. Yeah, I would know. No, no, like, not somebody to call you, but you'd be like,
Starting point is 01:07:10 like part of it. Like, because he's your twin. Yeah, like, oh. Yeah, people say you can feel stuff. Like the movie twins. Have you ever felt anything? Uh, I would know when he was upset at school.
Starting point is 01:07:22 Because he told you? No, I could just feel it. Something was weird. See, what if, because Ray doesn't talk to his twin now, so he doesn't know. So sometimes if Ray's feeling off, it might be because his twin is feeling off. It could be. It could be that, and we don't know because they don't talk. Prove it's not.
Starting point is 01:07:38 You can't. All right, I think we're good. Thank you guys for listening. Go check out if you've been listening to if you've listened to the Bobby Bowen Show. It's up. Or at least the first half is up. 25 whistles is up. A fifth thing.
Starting point is 01:07:49 Fifth thing with Amy Brown's up. Well, it's four things, Amy Brown, but fifth thing is the bonus episode. There you go. And today's good. As opposed to that. I like it. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:07:58 They're always good. I don't know. Today, I just feel like it was funny. You feel it. When we recorded it, it felt good. Yeah, felt that. All right, we're done. Thank you guys.
