I'm Lexi Youanu.
We're two best friends, 22 years apart, but so close at heart.
And I'm Lisa Di Giulio, the old one, which means we have wildly different references,

Now in my 30s, being the founder of new shoes, good taste is my business.

It's a Bobby Bone Show.
This has been an odd show for us.
today and if you're watching live we didn't get started with this part till almost noon central time
but we started here and then we had to go to the studio at my house for a bit because we needed the
studio to record lunchbox as lie detector test because all the equipment that was hooked to lunchbox
couldn't be moved from room to room and since we recorded the whole which we've recorded and now
we're going to say nothing about it it's going to end up airing on monday roughly loosely
we had to leave
and so we're back now
but it's been an odd day
so if you want to work over later
and then also
I did the voicemails
at the very end by myself
that's why nobody else
was talking during that segment
it was like butt crack
and I was just like
just play the voicemails
we'll get going here
so a little unorthodox show today
so Amy you're up first
go ahead
Minoxidil
let me see if I know what that is
is that monoxidil
do you put it on your skin
Hair, hair.
Like, it's cow.
It's one of the, it's an active ingredient in Rogaine.
Got it.
And various other human hair growth products.
And I saw this guy post about how his cat died because of the monoxidil that he had just
gotten.
His two-year-old cat who was in a lot of his videos and people were used to seeing and he had no idea.
And so he put out a PSA, his cat.
his cat started acting kind of weird, took him to the vet, and his cat died.
So heads up, it can be deadly to cats, and it made me think of Ray, because I don't know what certain things he does, and he's got his cat that's like his child.
And I didn't know if he was aware of the monoxidil and the danger it can pose to cats.
Are you doing monoxidil?
Oh, name it. Phanastaside, monoxidil, dutastoride, there's oral, there's topical.
But yes, the topical, I always make sure it is.
is covered because Piper would for sure lick it and die.
Almost immediately, they say.
Doing all that at once.
Okay, so Ray was aware of this.
Well, the dutastaside, I believe, is a form of finastaside.
So I don't take finastaside.
You can be making up sounds right now, guys, and I would just believe them.
I believe you're telling the truth.
And all of these you can do orally, and you can also do topically.
So, yes, I do, I double-decker them.
So I do them both at the same time.
Do you find that helps your hair?
Yeah, I mean, I believe I'd be bald fully up top.
if not.
No way.
Yeah.
I was baldened 10 years ago.
I remember that.
It was very thin.
He was balding.
But he's also going to a clinic and getting like laser on his head.
PRP.
No, like blood transfusions.
Yeah.
There's other stuff daily housekeeping that you have to do as well.
Good for you for you for sticking with it.
Yeah.
You have, I don't know.
You have pretty good hair.
Yeah.
I mean, I do because of the stuff I do.
Honestly, if you guys hadn't warned me about, hey, man, you're looking a little thin up top.
I don't know if I would have ever done it.
Nobody said that.
I didn't say that.
No, we didn't say that, man.
No, we never told you that.
Oh, because most guys just aren't able to see the back of their head.
So you really don't know your balding until somebody tells you.
That's true.
So, Ray, who told you?
We didn't.
No.
We never talked about that.
We only talk about it when you would post pictures getting your blood taken out of your head.
We'd ask you about it.
I found out from you guys.
That's a lie.
Hey, when you take all this stuff, Ray, does it put hair all over your, like, different places, too?
Or just your head.
Well, the topical you only put.
in the spots you want helping your hair.
And then the monocidil, I guess if it's oral.
I mean, sure, you could probably, I don't, I mean, honestly,
I don't see any more hair.
It's supposed to just go isolate right to where your head is.
Like are your eyebrows getting longer or anything like that?
No.
No.
No, your hair looks good.
Thank you.
We were not making fun of your hair, though.
Okay.
Yeah, just for the record.
I wasn't.
You guys might have been doing your little shenanigans on the hallway.
No, we've never done that.
No.
No, no, no.
Okay, so don't leave it out.
Don't either of monoxidil, tinoxidil, got oxal,
or anywhere where your cat can lick it,
or if you put it on, your hands,
wash your hands before you touch your cat.
Got it.
Because, like, the smallest amount can kill him.
I feel very fortunate that I have my hair.
You should.
You should.
And I see pictures of you,
especially, like, now that you've grown it out.
Like, that's just cool that you can do, like, you're what,
40s?
And you can, you have hair, dude, to play with.
You can grow it.
You can cut it.
You can shape it.
Like, that's amazing.
Lunchbox has his hair, too.
Yep.
But he doesn't do anything to it.
It's just a buzz cut.
Okay.
It's not just a bus cut, actually.
What is it?
It is sometimes.
But what is it?
Whenever you have to cut your hair, you come in and it's a full age.
No, you don't style it.
What do you call that right now?
No, it's a high and tight?
It's a high fade.
It doesn't look like a high fade.
Abby, is that funny?
Have it liked that one?
What it's called?
I don't say bus cut.
Is that what you say when you sit down?
I'd like a high fade.
Yep.
Hey, Lunchbox seriously, though, why don't you ever like style it do something cool like Bobby does?
Why don't do anything cool?
Growing it out.
Grow it out.
How was that cool?
He grew it out once and he thought he looked like Tom Brady.
Everybody kept telling me I was Tom Brady.
I don't know about that.
That's what happened.
People will say to me online, hey, Rosie O'Donnell.
And I'm like, my wife said that.
You only heard that on my show.
I volunteered that information.
They could be thinking on their own because I thought it.
Trust me.
No, my wife said that.
She goes, Amy said she thought that too.
I did.
And I said, well, I gave her the opportunity and she did not.
Say it.
You can't claim that you had the joke as well.
Because I didn't, I thought that was going to be so offensive to say that.
I think if I were growing my hair out thinking it looked good, I would be offended.
Okay.
Right now it's getting to the point where it's starting, I can start to do other things.
There's just a really awkward phase.
I'm at the back end of that awkward phase.
I'm just like not in the business of offending you.
So I'm like, I don't say it.
Oh, this is new.
Yeah, this is new.
What?
This is new.
No.
You don't have a filter.
Yeah.
Yeah, I did that day.
Because I was like, this feels like it could cut deep.
it out for any style. I'm growing it out because it's funny.
Because when I shake my head, our baby
thinks it's the funniest thing ever. And also
I have no reason to cut my hair. I told my agent
I'm not cutting my hair to give me a big job. Nice. And so what he say?
Cut your hair. It looks terrible. What if he's like, I'm not
going to be able to get you a job unless you freaking cut your hair. That's what he said.
That's where you tell the client, like he will cut his hair. Here's some other
pictures of him. Right. Yeah. But I can now put
this in the back in a ponytail. Don't do that.
Like it's long enough being a ponytail. And when I'm at home, it gets in my face.
so I can put this in like a thing as well
and wear that up.
Just keep that in my face.
No, please.
I've never had my hair this long.
Please walk around in ponytail.
Question.
Look, this is a top ponytail
but that's way longer in the back.
Yeah.
I don't know how to fix it though
and I have to host the Radio Hall of Fame
on Thursday night and I'm wearing a suit and a tie
and I'm...
What are you going to do?
I don't know.
I have no idea how to fix it.
I didn't know how to fix my hair when it was short.
Maybe this is the event in which...
This is a big gig.
Nope.
Okay.
What did you do at eye heart?
That looked good.
Oh, the first time I was miserable because I washed my hair before, and it was so like,
like Farah Fawcett feathery.
I thought that looked cool.
I was so embarrassed.
I was like, oh, God, this looks terrible.
I know it looks terrible, but I don't care.
I did care a little bit then.
I just shouldn't have washed it with cheap shampoo right before I went out.
Night two, I got some grease in it, and I can control it a little better.
But I have no plan to cut it.
My wife hates it.
Everybody hates it.
I think it's funny.
It's turned into a bit.
All right. When your agent brought this up or y'all were having this conversation,
how, I guess was it just out of nowhere?
Can we call him? Yes. I just didn't know if like you said, hey, I'll cut my hair when you get me a job or he had to tell you.
He brought it up first. Yeah, let's see if he even answers though. Okay.
He's a busy guy. Business deal making a business move. Yeah, he's a real business. Real business deals.
I get that money. So they may not answer. But he'll probably call me back while we're doing this.
All right, no luck. But I bet he'll be.
called me. Okay, he'll call me back.
He knows what's good for him.
Okay, good story. He's busy with his clients that cut their hair.
That's true.
That's true. All right, lunchbox.
Yeah, Caleb Flynn, the guy from American Idol, he was a contestant a few years back.
He was convicted of murdering his wife. He had his hearing yesterday for sentencing,
and everybody got up and his daughters didn't speak, but they wrote letters and the uncle or aunt read him.
was like, just so you know, we plan on never visiting in jail.
You did this.
So he got up and he spoke for the first time.
And he apologized.
And he said, he killed her.
He said, I apologize to my friends and family for all the pain and stuff I have caused.
I asked for their forgiveness.
I made vows to Ashley on our wedding day.
I failed those vows.
And through my decisions, I have caused you guys an incredible amount of pain.
Through those decisions, I'm sure you have felt betrayed, confusion, anger, and so much more.
but I have unfortunately lied about a lot of things over the last couple years
but as I stand here before God who is my ultimate judge
I am not lying when I say I did not kill my wife
Oh he said he didn't
Yep oh wow
I thought about the affair all these lies and
Maybe he didn't do it
I know I'm kidding I'm kidding I know I know but I'm like
Guys what if somebody broke in took his gun from his truck
It was all circumstantial
I know
When he said, I broke my vows, I'm like, dude, you murdered your wife.
That's not like, no, no, he broke his vow.
He, he, he understood now.
He had an affair.
Well, I understand his take now because I was like, why are you addressing the affair?
The thing right now is the wife.
Like, you have murdered your wife.
That's what the sentence he's.
He's a murderer.
And that's crazy.
Life without parole.
Dude, way to read that.
You got me.
Oh, he got me too.
I was like, oh, my God.
So he didn't take the stand because he thought, oh, I can get off.
But now that he's convicted, he's just going to go ahead and admit it.
He's like, you got me.
And he's just like, but I didn't do it.
Dang.
Wow.
It's crazy.
Eddie?
Yeah, so this is from the weekend, but people were spotting LeBron James' helicopter going from New York.
Because he plays for the 76ers in Philly now, Amy, in case he didn't know.
But he takes his helicopter from New York to Philly.
Did you know?
I did not know.
Okay.
So that's crazy one that he flies from New York to Philly.
Not that far.
I know. But you know the craziest thing about it is like a helicopter?
Kobe?
That's how Kobe does.
That's what I thought.
Yeah, but Kobe flew and told his pilot to fly when it was not recommended to fly.
The pilot was like, I don't think we should fly.
And Kobe's like fly through it.
I know, but there are just too many coincidences here.
You're a really good basketball player.
Kobe was a really good basketball player.
Kobe was retired.
I don't like it.
It's literally just two basketball players.
I'm sure Michael Jordan flew.
I'm sure they all fly helicopters plays.
Why do they fly helicopters?
Like ever since any...
Because an airplane, you don't fly an airplane that short a distance.
You can't get a driver?
It costs more.
You can get a driver, but that would take a longer time.
Traffic.
They want to avoid traffic.
How long is New York to Philly?
Like...
Helicopter ride or drive?
I guess both.
I'd like to know both.
Helicopter probably, what, 20 minutes, you said?
I don't know, maybe a little longer than that.
They could take the train.
He could take the train...
Yeah, the subway.
I'll ask.
Not the subway, but like the Amtrak.
I have some questions for you.
If you could answer all three for me, I'm wondering what's the drive from New York City
to Philadelphia.
What's a helicopter ride time from New York City to Philadelphia?
And also, what is a train ride from New York City to Philadelphia?
Let me line these up.
Seeing a while.
Hey, I won't distract her.
Okay.
Assuming Manhattan to Central Philly,
driving is about two hours if traffic is late,
but plan on two and a half to three during rush.
A helicopter is around 40 to 45 minutes in the air,
not counting getting to and from the pads.
The Tran Amtrak runs about one hour, 20 minutes for a standard direct, or about one hour 10 on the faster Achilla.
For most trips between those city centers, the train's the sweet spot.
It's fast and you dodge all that traffic uncertainty.
But if you were LeBron James, you'd fly a helicopter, right?
Sure, if you've got that setup.
For most people, though, the time and stress trade-off usually makes the train the practical win.
40 minutes.
Dude, I'm an idiot.
Like, I just thought right now, I'm like,
we're figuring all this out, like, what's faster car?
Bro, move to Philly.
He doesn't want to live in Philadelphia.
You play, your job's in Philly.
They knew that before he was even going to Philadelphia.
It was.
He's going to fly from New York to Philadelphia.
Is Philly that bad to live in?
No, and I'm sure he probably has a condo or something there as well, but I think...
Okay, yeah, that'll help.
Yeah, once the season starts, I think he'll be there just because you get back off the road,
you go to bed at your condo, get up and go to the arena.
I don't think he's going to get back, get on a helicopter, fly to New York.
I do, unless they have back-to-backs.
That's the plan.
If he has days off, he'll live in his place in New York.
But if he has back-to-backs, he probably won't.
When she says that setup, like, I mean, it's, he's got all the money in the world, right?
And he can ride it all off.
Because it's work.
Yeah.
I saw that, dude.
That's just crazy.
Crazy life.
Crazy life.
All right.
Hayden Panetteer's $500,000 engagement.
ring has not turned up.
What?
No, she died.
Yeah, was that missing?
So her family's busy sorting out her estate, but one significant part of it that has not
shown up yet is her engagement ring from former fiancee Vladimir Klitschko.
The late actress kept the piece of jewelry.
Sources say her loved ones have not been able to find it.
Whoa.
Weird.
And it lists that ring and then other crazy things I can't find, Amy's Aggie Ring.
That's the two things in the story.
That's on the list.
It's also in the mix.
The news comes a week after it was reported that Paneteer's.
parents were fighting over some of her jewelry after her passing.
Somebody definitely got in there.
You think maybe she sold it without telling anyone, like early?
Possibility. Good one.
But also because they're fighting over jewelry, it does lend to
probably one of the two.
Yeah. I forgot she was married to that guy.
Had a kid.
Glitchco.
And I think he had child rights.
I think so, too.
He's a big dude. She's tiny.
But he lives, like, in Russia?
You know, he's from, and maybe not Russia.
Ukraine. Maybe Ukraine, yeah. I don't even think he lives here. I think that was part of the stuff that I read that like, no, he doesn't live here. Yeah, he didn't live in America. I think Ukraine. Just going off the top. And it was him and his bro, right? His brother were fighters. Clutchko brothers. They wouldn't fight each other, though. I wonder if my kids, like, if they were ever boxers, would they want to fight each other? Because they fight now for fun. Yeah. But professionally, I guess that'd be different. I don't know. Maybe not your kids.
Are they Ukrainian?
Lunchbox, you're looking at that?
I'm looking up.
I think,
I,
Klichiko.
I can't spell his name.
How would you spell it?
Kiko.
It's K, right?
Yeah, I can just ask here.
I can ask, I mean, it doesn't matter that much, but.
Oh, here it is.
Hey, where are the Klichko brothers from?
One sec.
Kazakhstan.
Really?
Hesko brothers are Ukrainian.
Vitale was born in what's now,
Kyrgyzstan, and Vladimir in Kazakhstan.
But both.
represented Ukraine.
Oh, wow.
Now that I have an advanced chat GPT,
it takes a while because it does all this work.
She sounds like she's just waking up, like, hold on,
give me a second.
Or like she's getting off the line of her conversation
where she's getting paid to be a 900 number.
Yeah, one of the two.
Eddie and I got a, oh, you don't know.
Did you get to ask yesterday about the golf thing?
No.
I got hit up yesterday saying, hey,
we need to close a deal.
Will you and Eddie play golf with a client?
Let's go.
I love these.
What?
What? Like, what is the deal?
What is it?
Can you share details?
I don't know that I know the details, and I don't want to say who the client is.
Is it here?
You have to travel?
That's a good question.
Y'all get to go to home.
They're going to bring them here and go to my club.
That's why they were asking for sure.
They said, would you da-da-da-da-da.
It'd be great if you and Eddie could do the next 30 days or so.
Are you available?
This is work, so yes.
Yeah, that helps every time.
No, it literally is.
Sorry, baby, I got to work.
You're going to be gone for how long?
I don't know.
No, no telling.
We've got to work.
No, I have a text message.
I did put my movie list up on Instagram of all the movies.
Like, when we had a baby, I watched a lot of movies.
And some of them I'd put into my chat, GBT, as, hey, this is what I like.
Probably five or six that I'd seen narrated, and the rest it would recommend movies.
But if you go to Mr. Bobby Bones on Instagram, you can see like 46 movies or so.
I think I've watched about 32 this year, and mostly since the baby was born, because I don't
really watch movies for the most part. But it's a pretty comprehensive list. It's legit.
If you want to see it. That's so helpful. I think, did you see my request?
What did you request? I didn't go to the comments. It wasn't Tuesday.
Okay. Well, first I was like. I'm looking now. Wow, this is so helpful. Yeah. And then?
Comment it again. Oh, you thought about it later. Do TV shows. Next. Yeah.
Yeah, I just haven't been keeping track in my chat GPT with it.
I can probably start loading some in.
Well, because we do it on Tuesday, Reviews Day,
and I sometimes write stuff down on my doodle paper,
and then my doodle paper ends up in the trash.
And then I forget what you suggested,
and you've always got legit TV shows.
So that's what I think you should do next.
We're going to finale lanterns tonight.
You guys aren't watching that, huh?
No.
It's good.
We're going to finale that thing to this.
Is it Halloween?
Jacko Lanterns
Green Lantern
Got it
Got it got it got it
I thought it's Halloween
But he's been talking about it for weeks
And I don't forget
I zone out
Okay
Because I'm probably not gonna watch that one
Good to know
You don't like the Marvel stuff
Yeah but Green Lantern
Like I don't know that story
So it doesn't
I didn't either
I didn't know much about it
I didn't watch the Ryan Reynolds version
Yeah because
Kyle Chandler is in it
For Friday Night Lights
Or buddy Jackson from the road crew
And this other guy
guys in it who's really good. It was like the real star
of it because Kyle Chandler plays the old Green Lantern
who's older now but he's still it.
And this other guy is like the trainee. It's really good.
You know which one I never finished was
Spider-Nwar?
Me either. Kind of gave up on it.
Me too. I really liked it and then I didn't
and then I just stopped. And I thought about it because the same
kind of concept where Spider-Man's like old.
Everything hurts.
Yeah, but that was shot like an old movie.
Yes, it was shot like an old movie, noir style.
And you could watch it black and white if you wanted to.
It was an option.
I thought that was so cool.
I think it was cool too, but it was too cool for me.
Yeah.
But Nick Cage was a pretty decent Spider-Man.
All right, so there's that.
A woman in Pennsylvania stole a donation box from a veterinary clinic
that was raising money for pets in need of care.
The owner estimates there was about 500 bucks inside.
No, they're going straight down.
W-P-X-I.
You just wonder what they were going through,
and if they were just doing it to be stingy,
to steal, to be greedy, you're a bad person?
Yep.
But then it's the question, because now, look, economy sucks.
People are hurting.
I know that now more than ever because of Tuesday giving Tuesday.
But if your kid's hungry, are you going to steal a box of money?
Yep.
Does it depend on who you steal it from?
Like this is for pets.
Now your kids are more important.
And again, I'm just inserting that story.
And unfairly assigning it because this is probably somebody that is just stealing to
this is a bad person.
But it didn't have to be.
It definitely doesn't have to be.
People get in pinches for sure and have to do things they probably wouldn't do if they weren't in the pinch.
Right.
Guys, even gas is like,
oh yeah, it's,
that's borderline, like, hard for us now.
You want to say it's the worst it's ever been.
I used to think that a lot.
Then I would think, man, I wasn't alive in like 1969.
Was it bad back then?
Just in general.
Well, I say without toxic, the culture is,
but I wasn't alive for Vietnam.
I wasn't alive for the protests in the streets.
Like, I think everything is cyclical anyway
with whatever version technology presents,
like same feeling, same emotions,
in a cycle, you just add the technology to it.
And, yeah, I was talking to someone who was a lot older than me.
And I was like, I think this is the worst it's ever been, except for I don't know about
the word ever.
I wasn't alive ever.
Right.
Like, I bet the Civil War was tough.
I bet.
Yes.
Real tough.
Yeah, I think.
Terrible.
So, yeah, I saw that.
And they just didn't even have life's comforts.
But they probably thought that people, 50 years before them, didn't have life's comforts.
And they had all life's comforts.
The way in 100 years, people, people,
will look at us and go, they didn't even have life's comforts.
They can't even like...
Yeah, they can't even just get in a portal and go across town in their coffee shop.
How sad for them.
Or like, yeah, close their eyes and be somewhere else.
Again, that's...
Some things always change, but always remain the same.
And that's one of them.
Amy's worried about Eddie's customer service with his salsa.
What's up?
Sure am.
Okay, so, you know, he's got people almost like a pyramid thing.
He's got people out selling his salsa.
I called a network.
It's a network.
Just kidding.
What are they called a multi-level?
An MLM.
He's got like people under him dealing the salsa.
And I was in the kitchen and he was getting sauce out of the fridge to give to one of his salesman, McKitty.
And McGitty was like, oh, hey, no, no, no.
The customer wants to meet you.
Would really love to meet you.
And Eddie's like, no, no, no, no, you deliver it.
It's your customer.
And McKinty was like, no, he wants to meet you.
And in my moment I'm thinking like, Eddie, like, repeat customers come from like meeting you.
you, like you made the
salsa, like that could mean so much
to your customer to just say, hey,
I love your salsa, thank you. And you
could lock them in for life, but instead
Eddie was like, no, no, this is your customer, you do it.
I want my
employee to have
the relationship. Are you paying
McKitty? In salsa. In salsa.
That's not your employee then.
I mean, I give him like a jar a week.
Like, that's how much kind of, that's his payment.
But how much is a jar?
1250. 1250.
So you pay a,
1250 a week. That's his payment.
It depends on how much he sells and how much
he wants too because some weeks he's just like, I'm good
on salsa today. I'm not going to be here this week. I need salsa by
the way. I haven't had it any long time. You write it down?
How many do you need two jars?
Yeah, we can do too.
I was thinking about playing around with
some coupons because people keep hitting me up
and hitting me up for deals and I'm just like, I don't have any deals
man. It's 1250. That's what it is. Well, you don't need to give
a deal unless sales
are starting to slow. You don't give deals just because people want them.
You give deals because sales are slowing or you're able to produce more.
Yeah.
Or you want to bring attention to something new.
Well, somebody hit me up and like, hey, is there any way I can get a discount for these two jars?
And I said, there's no coupon, but I just said that.
You should do discount for five jars.
Oh, I like that.
A lot of people buy two.
Five jars. How much is it?
12.50.
Five jars. Five jars for 50 bucks.
$50. Wow.
That's pretty good.
Okay.
Don't do it too. Don't do it.
Don't do it.
So, wait, wait.
Can we go back to you not meeting the people?
Yeah, that sucks, dude.
No, no, no.
It's very simple.
Guys, I was working.
Like, we were about to do, we were about to come back to work.
It was just a bathroom break.
But you didn't say that.
You said, no, it's your customer.
You go do it.
That was my excuse.
That was my way to, like, light the fire under his butt.
Oh, because you need your employees that get paid $12 a week to really give it to them.
You know, like, hey, dude, that's your client.
Go get them.
You could actually pay people to sell your salsa, but actually give them money.
I know.
We're not making that much money yet.
Yeah.
You know what I mean?
I don't want to scale it, but I know you.
We've talked about this.
Every time you do that, I go home and I'm just like, what's he talking about?
And then I think about it all day.
I'm just like, eh, it wouldn't be bad.
Scale it up a little bit.
It wouldn't be bad to risk more to make more.
Yeah.
Like, take some money to make money.
So I don't know, man.
Yeah, keep at it.
Hey, scuba, are the spirit still in the parking garage?
I don't think so anymore.
No, I don't feel anything.
I started parking up my old spot again.
That's what lunchbox said.
Yeah.
Oh, you notice?
I noticed.
And I was like, oh, scuba was all this.
I'm never parking there again, these spirits.
And then I was like, the scuba thing the spirits left?
Or was that just like, ah, for a week, I felt it.
And now I'm good.
What was it?
The walk was getting too far?
Well, where I was parking before actually felt scarier because you go down these flights of
stairs and there's so many opportunities for people hiding in the stairwell.
And security told me, he was like, hey, man, I've even caught homeless people in this
stairwell.
And I'm like, well, I'm here late at night.
I don't need to deal with that and become the next dead body in this parking garage.
So let me go to my other spot.
It's a little closer, quicker.
I'm more familiar with that access.
So I'll just go back there and suck it up.
So the spirit could be inside of you, but you're okay with that?
Yeah, that's fine because, I mean, it's not like he's physically harming me.
Just wondering.
There's still no arrests.
You're the only guy I know that's ever been possessed.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
That was a weird time.
No arrest for that murder here, huh?
No arrests.
Nothing.
Been a month.
But then they arrest that girl out in front of the building?
Remember we were lunch and I were going somewhere after work
and there was a ton of cops out in front
and there was like nine cops and we thought
man they must have caught somebody like really dangerous
and it was like some chicken or 20s crying.
Yeah.
Remember that?
Yeah, I don't know what it was though.
They didn't say anything.
Okay.
I wonder if she's connected to it.
Nothing that I heard.
Ray Mundo's upset because people are stopping by
and playing the pop a shot.
You somer?
More people?
Yeah.
You got to remove the balls.
True, but it's about the leaderboard, really.
I don't care if Randos take some shots.
I was thinking maybe we just put a sign
Hey, you know, don't put your name on the leaderboard
if you're not associated with the Bobby Bone show.
So I'm kind of talking to the McKitties.
Is that who it is? Eddie's buddy.
I told him to stop doing that, by the way.
Stop doing what?
Playing the thing.
If you don't people play and take the balls away.
Because you can't leave it out there and then say you can't have all the privileges of being out there.
If it's out there, you get to play it.
Let them play.
If it's not, they don't get to play it.
But, I mean, how does it sit with you guys having Wayne D's name on the screen?
That's fine.
We never see him in his names there.
He's not even part of it.
of the show. But doesn't it restart every, what, week?
Month. Why is the leaderboard gone? I was like, I got 80 finally.
I'll put it back up. Oh. You still have the numbers? I was trying to get cute with it and make it so it was only country artists when they come in and play, but just don't get cute because it's pretty much impossible.
So what would you like us to do about the pop a shot machine? I think I'm going to put a sign and say morning show, people only.
Please don't. That's a bad look. Save your name if you're midday or after.
What if someone comes up to us and asks, like, hey, is it okay if I play?
Yes, that's a bad look.
If the balls are out there, they should be able to play.
Yeah.
Yeah, I just wish there was a way to tell them not to log in.
We don't want their screen names up there.
Because, I mean, Kevin's dad, he was shooting the other day, and I was like, he wanted
to kind of log in.
I was like, you know what?
If you wouldn't mind just shooting without scanning it.
That's kind of a good point.
I don't care.
I mean, what if it said Kevin's dad for the next month?
That's funny if he deserves to be up there.
He's the leader.
Hey, as one third owner of the machine, I don't care.
Okay.
Ray Duss, scuba, what's your vote?
I don't really care.
I'm too busy with other things.
What's the thirds?
You guys are third owners?
Yeah.
Us three are third owners.
Who would be the other?
I helped move the thing in.
Oh, stop.
Bring me in a 5, 10% or something.
You're nothing.
I will give you a jar of salsa.
Hey, you're nothing.
I make my own jar.
There you go.
Who puts the balls up at night?
Usually last person.
Or sometimes, yeah, they do stay out.
then people are obviously going to play.
And I can talk to the cleaning guy
and just see if he could maybe put it in the broom closet
right before he heads out.
Why don't, whoever's the last person from this crew in the daytime.
It's usually Eddie at 3.
Scuba.
There's nobody here when I'm here.
There's nobody playing.
I'm the only person in the building at 8 o'clock at night.
There's nobody here.
Then why don't you just put them away, Eddie, whenever you...
Scooby, do you play at night?
Oh, yeah, I play before I go just to kind of get some steam off.
Put them up and you're done.
Okay.
That's on you then.
8 p.m. cut off.
There's nobody here, though.
And then the race the next person in.
So I'm the last person here and raised the first person in here.
I don't care.
This is too much trouble for me.
The other day they were having a meeting though and like somebody banged on the glass.
Like we're like, all right, we'll keep it down.
Oh, because y'all are shooting and they're up.
It is close to the conference room.
The salespeople.
There's someone on the screen and everything.
They're just like, keep it down a little bit.
My bad.
Did you keep it down?
Nope.
I mean, we kept shooting, but quietly.
We were like, yo!
Oh, you didn't yell.
Yeah, we were like quietly.
We shot quietly.
Yeah, got it.
It is loud when you hit the bone.
But when it hits the rim, it's loud.
All right.

Sometimes we'll talk about that weird news story from last week.
It's the one you're thinking about, trust me.

Lisa, we should tell them about our new show.
Oh my God, Lexi.
We have a new podcast.
It's called Don't Lie to Me.
I'm Lexi Wano.
We're two best friends.
friends, 22 years apart, but so close at heart.
And I'm Lisa Di Giulio, the old one, which means we have wildly different references,
occasionally different opinions, and at this point in my 50s, I've lived it all.
I'm not going to get anyone fighting.
That is wild.
I learned that about you today.
Now in my 30s, being the founder of new shoes, good taste is my business,
and I've always got something to say.
If men were just honest about this, they would be so much more peace in the world.
the world. We're going to talk about dating, relationships, beauty, getting older, and a little wiser.
We're best friends, but we don't always agree. Because you told us how accommodating you are.
Obviously, I would do what I think I could do to fight the fight, but there's only so much fight I can
fight. Don't lie to me. Don't lie to me. Don't lie to me. Don't lie to me. Don't lie to me.
Liar. Listen on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. I don't

Join us for a panel of wellness influencers.
What I try to do is faux journal.
I don't know.
Have you guys heard of faux journaling?
Yeah, it's reading.
It's called reading.
So we don't like to use that word anymore.
A panel of New Yorker cartoonists.
Have you guys done?
Terry Gross's Peloton class.
No! I've been dying, too.
I'm so sorry. I'm seeing a reading of Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes by
Audra McDonald's at the Wonderland Bookstore on 14th.
That's crazy. I went to the Wonderland Bookstore yesterday, and I heard Nora Jones do a
reading of Zero Dark 30. No way.
You have to come to the last bookstore, though. Kim Cottrell is reading the guitar tabs
of yesterday. A panel of Eurovision participants. And we do a little Halloween sometimes.
Does the Pope dress up?
He winks on Halloween.
He gets right up next to the microphone.
I hear you can almost hear the eyelashes hit each other.
You never seen Italy so quiet as when the Pope gets up to wink on Halloween.

Amazon Prime's Big Deal Days today and tomorrow.
So you can save money.
This is not a commercial.
Just you can literally save money.
Yeah.
It's always going to take advantage of that.
Amy made $8 on the class action lawsuit for Amazon.
Sure did.
Went straight into my PayPal.
I didn't even have to file anything because I already had my account set up with them.
So I got an email that $8 and whatever was deposited and...
I found $8 in your pocket.
You didn't have to do anything?
Nothing.
So I might have it?
Yeah, they said the only action step you would need to take would be to link your PayPal.
I mean, listen.
Oh, Amy got scammed.
Listen, this is sounding shady as I'm saying it, but I was already set up.
up. So they said if you're if you're already linked, you have no further steps to complete this process.
And I checked and the $8 was there. So my $8 is not there. Although there's someone who got my
PayPal name and requested money for me, some guy named Dylan requested $335,000.
What? Wait, what? Yeah, Dylan asked for $335 and said, I'm serious. If you'll buy this farm for me,
I'll pay you back. Long time listener. Oh, so it's like, give you.
A request.
That's praying Tuesday.
That's praying I'm drunk and I don't drink.
Yeah, he wants $335,000.
What do you think his face would do if he looked up
all of a sudden on his phone and he had $335,000 for me?
I mean, I don't think.
That would be the ultimate giving Tuesday.
It's for a farm.
Yeah.
I did not get anything.
No?
Mm-mm.
Okay.
So I did not get anything from Amazon, so you might have been scammed.
No.
I wasn't scam.
wasn't scam and I didn't click on anything.
Something else today. Monopoly at McDonald's starts today.
Yes, I love that.
Do you actually play?
Well, when I get McDonald's, yeah.
And then there's always one that I'm missing, every single one.
The pill off pieces are back.
The promotion runs through November 1st, physical pieces on eligible items,
and you get a chance in a million bucks.
But didn't they do a whole story, like a documentary on how it was rigged back in the day?
Yes.
That's how you know people love it.
A documentary comes out saying it was rigged and people still love it.
so much that they can bring it out again and people still get excited about it.
Well, they can't rig it twice, right?
Well, and that was unfortunate.
A famous last words.
And that was unfortunate, you know?
Again, famous last words.
Well, it was unfortunate, but we'll take it again.
Yeah.
Russia is playing down the reports of that plague.
So nearly 200 people in Russia's Siberia region are under observation after a lab worker
died from what was the pneumonic plague.
We mentioned this yesterday.
A woman died last week of severe.
pneumonia, Russian media reported she may have accidentally broken a test tube. If that's not from
Jurassic Park. I can't even. And so then live bacteria got in her. It affects the lungs. And unlike
the bubonic form can spread from person to person through respiratory droplets. That's from NBC
news. I don't trust anything from Russia. The only thing that I trust Russia to do is scam
Amy at eight bucks for paid off. We're good at that. That's exactly it. Yeah.
there is the door kick challenge
which we've talked about before
where kids go up and they
kick the door open
like a stranger door
strange store? Yes, any door
and there's a certain part of a door
you can't actually kick
that they teach you in law enforcement
and if you kick this certain part of the door
there's a good chance it's going to break through
really? You know that
I mean yeah
you know that
Amy have you kicked the door
no but he's probably referring to my ex-husband
oh got it
Amy and I've talked about this.
Got this.
So police in Portland are warning about this because in this town, the door kick challenge is running pretty rampant.
And they're saying, hey, be careful because let's say you kick someone's door.
That's what kids are doing.
They kick the front door as hard as they can.
They run away.
It's ding-dong ditch just a little more aggressive.
A little more aggressive way.
So they're going, if this happens to the wrong person and they have a gun, they will shoot you.
Exactly.
That it can possibly not be a harmless prank.
If harm happens.
shoot you when you kick in the door.
Like what do they say?
It's all fun in games so somebody gets killed.
Yep.
They say that?
Yeah. If they don't, they should.
That's from KATU.
So those challenges that come through on TikTok,
I rarely get them on mine because I'm not going to do them.
You're probably a little more mature than that.
Let's hope.
In certain parts of my life, sure.
KATU.
And there's one other story.
So Dyson put out a toothbrush.
Dyson makes the most technologically advanced everything.
If they have a product, one, it's going to be expensive, but two, it is going to do miraculous things.
It could be the hair wand.
Yeah, the blow dryer or the vacuum.
It doesn't matter.
You ever had a Dyson anything?
I have a steamer.
Like a closed steamer, legit.
A plus?
A-A-plus.
So they put out a toothbrush.
It took them six years to develop it.
$500 for the toothbrush.
Wow.
And then it quietly disappeared.
What happened?
It went away.
It's not even on the website anymore.
So Dyson announced the launch of the Dyson Camera Jet,
an electric toothbrush with built in AI.
According to the company,
the camera powered device uses...
Camera?
Mm-hmm.
Because it looks in and it sees gap optical targeting
to identify gaps between teeth
and then it also has like a floss part of the toothbrush
that gets up in there.
That's cool.
But complaints quickly began appearing.
they pulled it. Oh.
I'm surprised because all their stuff rocks,
but that's Inc. Magazine with that story.
And it took them six years and they put out like a funky toothbrush that doesn't work.
I was thinking about this with the iPhone because I was last night looking to see when that new foldable iPhone was going to come out.
And then I wondered to myself, how does something get out and it still suck after all these years of development?
And the answer is, once something gets into the hands of 10,000 people, you're able to really see.
see how it can be messed up, what it can do, what it can do, what it can't do. The little things,
when it's being used by seven people over and over, you're just not going to see all those
things. So until it really gets out, that first generation, in 10,000, 100,000 people have it,
you're really not going to know the bugs in it. But does that mean that us as consumers,
we should tell them like, hey, this, I never complain about my stuff. You know, if you paid
$500 for a toothbrush and then the jet tube started malfunctioning, you would, you'd feel like I need
a refund or a new toothbrush, 100%.
Man, what Russia should do is develop one of those. Say it's Dyson and then choke everybody out.
Oh my gosh.
Like, like, and they get them into the hands of the high ranking officials.
Dude, don't give them the idea.
And then all of a sudden it goes in their mouth with AI and they go, itty button now.
How did your brain just think of that?
Yeah, it's like black mirror, dude.
Everything feels like black mirror to me now.
Yeah.
AI's got us.
Yeah, it's got us under wraps.
All right, glad everybody's here.
Hey, call us.
Leave us a voicemail, whatever you guys want to do.
877-77 Bobby.
I'm going to do a few giving Tuesday requests here.
There is no lunchbox today because he had to step out
because he is currently not taking the lie detector test,
but he's doing the, I guess,
what would you call this stage, Mike?
Pretest.
They're making sure that they get all of his readings
when he does tell the truth, so when he does lie, they know.
So they're getting to know, like his baseline?
There we go.
So it's like somebody.
he's done this before.
No.
They're going through like control questions and stuff.
So he has something to work from.
And then he goes to the actual test itself.
But what if he's lying in all these?
So that's the baseline.
I'm a woman.
So we are actually doing the lie detector today, recording it after the show.
But the pre-light detector takes two hours.
So we had to step out 30 minutes ago and start doing that.
And so I think we will end up putting the lie detector on the whole results.
probably Friday or Monday.
So we have, but we haven't done the questions yet.
We haven't asked him.
We're watching him on camera right now.
He's sitting in a room with a guy in a suit.
Scuba,
is this guy like,
former something?
He is super legit.
He works somewhere,
I think,
within the government.
He didn't,
he kind of didn't want to give me all the details.
Fair enough.
But he said he's like a year from retirement
and this is one of his final things he's going to do.
And he's done stuff like on TV shows on Netflix and A&E and all that.
So he's pretty excited to be here.
He looks good.
Like he looks like somebody I wouldn't want to mess with or lie to.
So that's why lunchbox is not here to hate on my giving Tuesdays.
And I'll go through them quickly.
Here's one from Kim.
And Kim just messaged me on Instagram.
Last summer, I shouldn't have said her name.
But we had a kid who had some issues and we need a laptop.
And we can't afford a laptop.
We need a laptop for school.
The laptop costs this much.
So I bought her a laptop.
Kids have to have a laptop now?
I mean, yes.
And at our school,
they're assigned to them.
So it's given from the school
and we have to give it back.
Yeah, our kids are provided with one.
Yeah.
Oh.
Well, they don't have one.
But I don't know
how every district works.
Yeah.
Well, do you want Amy to tear this one down?
Yeah, you got scammed.
You know, I started to feel,
I don't think I got scammed.
I'm just kidding.
Every school's different.
But if I did, that's okay.
That's okay.
Like I said,
if I get scammed occasionally,
but I can help most, I'm good.
Here's another one from someone named Ashley.
She says, I'm hoping this will catch your eye.
I'm a third year veterinary student and I'm doing mixed animal medicine.
I'll be receiving my white coat this March.
Being a veterinarian has been a dream of mine.
Most people don't realize how demanding their curriculum is.
And then she went through some of the costs of the school.
So that's what I helped with.
Okay.
And then there was another one.
And this one was so small to where she said, hey, Mr. Bobby Bones.
I started listening to you for a half hour.
when driving to work and now I listen on the podcast also when I get home. I just need $30 to help with the bill.
That's it? Wow. And so I sent her a hundred bucks. She said if you don't get this or don't want to help,
I'll understand. And she signed it. But she asked for $30. Yeah. I mean, that's how tough times are right now.
So I can only help if you're in my Instagram DMs. I only check them on Tuesdays. And not only that,
if you don't put your Venmo, I can't help you because I'm not going to track it down.
So that's it.
Put your Venmo.
Send it.
And also, if you, if I see one, it's like, I've tried 11 times.
I'm trying 12.
I'm not, that's not, that's not, I can't.
Like, if you're coming at me aggressive for me just trying to hopefully reach in and
help out, it doesn't make me feel good.
So that's where we are.
That's giving Tuesday.
It kind of feels good just to like say it and move on.
Right?
I feel like we got through this pretty quickly.
Like, I don't feel less about myself.
Nobody has complaints.
Nobody's yelling at me, yeah.
But anyway, you have to do it through my Instagram, which is Mr. Bobby Bones,
and I only checked them on either late Monday night or early Tuesday morning.
And that's who we jumped into help this week.
And thank you guys.
It's time for the good news.
With Amy.
Tell me something good.
A retired couple has spent the last 15 years fostering 59 rescue dogs in the
their home and they have zero plans of stopping.
What do you mean in their home?
In their home.
Not all at once.
No, over the last 15 years.
That sounds like a cat lady.
I was a little worried for the animals.
Got it.
And fostering, meaning also people can come and get them and adopt them.
Yeah.
Nicole and Gary Woodsworth.
They take in pups from a local shelter
whenever the dogs get too stressed
or overwhelmed by kennel life.
They're like the go-to.
And they don't say no.
And they're not, like I said, they're not stopping.
Good.
I was just concerned.
It was like one of those old cats.
ladies, or one of the houses they go into
and they discover all these animals that are
mistreated, malnourished. Yeah.
But God, I like that story.
They said that sometimes they'll just
have a dog for a couple of nights,
and they've kept a dog as long as 18
months. So,
the situation looks different every single time.
I love it. I love them. Never met them. Love them.
Good story. That's what it's all about.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
It's time for the good news.
With Lunchbox.
There was a son out in Maryland and he was doing some errands.
He was like, oh, tomorrow's my dad's birthday.
What should I get him?
You know, he likes the lottery.
So he went in the gas station and bought two pick five tickets with the exact same numbers.
His dad's favorite numbers put it in a birthday card, said, happy birthday, dad.
And those numbers hit for $50,000.
And since he had two of them, the dad won $100,000.
That's amazing.
So then what?
Happy birthday, Dad.
Nice.
Well, you sound mad.
Man.
What if someone gifted you tickets?
Maybe that's why you haven't won.
You haven't been gifted tickets.
Yeah.
Man, I think you would feel so weird if you won off a gift because the person that gave it to you has to hate themselves.
I don't.
No, no, that's you projecting because you would hate yourself, but I don't think most people would hate themselves for giving.
the gift of a ticket than won.
If Eddie gave me a ticket that won a million dollars.
He wouldn't hate himself.
He'd probably...
I'd want a little bit of that.
But at home, he'd be like, I could have had that million dollars.
Sure, I would think that for sure.
But he probably would go, I don't normally buy tickets,
so I wouldn't have bought a ticket unless it was for Lunchbox's birthday or something.
Oh, okay.
But he's right.
I'd probably be at home thinking a little bit.
Yeah, exactly.
I don't...
Lunchbox screams everybody should share, but he wouldn't share.
Right.
I don't think so.
No, no, I'm not saying you should share.
I'm saying that if you gave it to someone,
you're going to have that internal feeling for the rest of your life.
That could have been mine.
Unless you don't play the lottery and you just went because you know they play the lottery
and you bought them a ticket.
Because you would have never been yours.
But even though you're still buying it and that could have been yours.
But you wouldn't have even gone there had it not been for them.
What would they not understand about that?
I don't know. They're just money hungry.
But, dude, that would be awesome to win the lottery.
No crap. Nobody's arguers. Right. So that's what I'm saying. And now they gave it as a birthday gift.
That dad will definitely give a son some money because dad's son relationship. Yeah.
If the son would have won, I don't know that he'd broken off dad much. I think that's a different dynamic.
And I just thought it was interesting that he bought two of the exact same ticket. I thought, oh, one for me, one for dad. But he gave him boat to dad.
What if he meant to keep one for himself? He's like, oh, no. One of those was supposed to be mine.
We're supposed to do this together. All right. Good story. That's what it's all about.
That was tell me something good.
Right, voicemails.
Mike from San Diego chiming in on today's mailback about the guy watching too much sports.
And what would it be like if she was watching too much reality TV, so he kind of directs himself to watch sport?
And then be happy that he's not going to the bar.
He's right in that same spot where he left him.
Thanks, studio.
Reality TV is a bit different because every show is not three hours and those three-hour shows aren't back to back.
back to back for Thursday, Saturday, Sunday.
I hear you, but we're doing a lot of putting the shoe on the other foot
and that other foot may already be shoeed.
That makes no sense.
But be happy that he only kind of sucks.
That's kind of what you're saying here.
You sound like a guy that's also watching a lot of sports that your wife is also mad at,
if it were me just doing some judging here.
But I appreciate that.
All right.
Let's go to the next one.
I have a question for Bobby.
I know he's smart, but if he was so smart in high school and got, did so well on his ACTs,
why didn't he go to University of Arkansas?
Because they give Fulbright scholarships also instead of Henderson.
Loves University of Arkansas.
So just curious as to why he didn't go to college there.
Thank you.
Bye.
I had a job.
J.O.B.
I was already working in radio.
I got a job right before college started, and I knew this is what I wanted to do with my career.
so I didn't and didn't feel like I could move
because back then it was impossible to get on at a radio station
especially being 18 years old
and not only had I gotten on as someone who was working part-time
and who was working just hired to clean the lobby
and switch out a CD but it had already happened
where I was on the air because somebody got fired
and there was no chance I was leaving that
and I think had that not been the case
it would have been different but that is the exact reason.
and J-O-B.
All right, next one.
Oh, Amy, you.
You said he's just a friend.
You said he's just a friend.
Oh, Amy, you.
You said he's just a friend.
You said he's just a friend.
All right, there you go.
Hit the next one.
Hey, first time call or a long-time lesson.
I just had to know Bobby with his crazy Uber Eats experience
with the guy sitting in the car and walking.
around the yard.
Did you still give them a five-star review?
Love the show, I guess.
No, I didn't.
And I rarely give Uber-Each drivers a five-star anything.
I don't review them.
I tip them.
My tip is usually the review.
I guess I could review them more,
but I will only review them if it's poor,
if they leave something by the road.
And that happens sometimes.
They'll send a picture,
and the drink of the food is in a bag out by the road,
route by the mailbox. I will give them three stars, but I don't generally review Uber Eats drivers.
I will review drivers because I know they depend on that. But maybe I should. And so this is me admitting
maybe I don't do it right. But I always review with money. So my review will be a tip. But then if it's
bad, I still will tip fully and then give them a semi poor review. So I appreciate that. All right,
that's it. Thank you guys. We will see you tomorrow on the show.
Don't forget, you leave us a voicemail anytime.
