Starting point is 00:02:37 since high school. Absolutely. A redacted amount of years later, we're still joined at the hip. Just a little bit bigger hips. This is a podcast. We're recording it as we tailgate our youth soccer games
Starting point is 00:02:47 in the back of my Honda Odyssey. With all the snacks and drinks. Why did you get hard seltzer instead of beer? Oh, they had a bogo. Well, then you got it. Listen to soccer moms on the eye Art Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Come on.
Starting point is 00:03:02 This is the Bobby Bone Show. Bobby Bone. All right. Here's a voicemail we got last night. I have a massage one time that could have been a sitcom. I'm a school guidance counselor and the massage therapist came out sobbing. I've never met her before and continued to sob the whole hour I was having my massage to tell me about her breakup with her boyfriend and basically wanted a free therapy session.
Starting point is 00:03:27 That sucks Because during a massage And I'm not good at this You're supposed to de-stress Most of mine are If I don't really get traditional massages I get I've injured myself Therapy
Starting point is 00:03:43 That's a massage Yeah Because I'm like I don't want to go relax I'm not a big massage guy But I get them if I'm hurt But Abby had a weird experience Where the guy pulled the towel off her butt Yeah and was moated
Starting point is 00:03:57 I can't believe that. And say, man, because apparently he was 60. I was watching the clip back on TikTok, and I was like, that's crazy. Yeah, he pulled the towel off her butt. And moaning. And it was like, do it, Abby? I can't. He's like, mm.
Starting point is 00:04:14 And I'm realizing the more I talk about it, that that's not normal. Not normal. Glad you shared. So what we're going to do, I talked to Scoob and Steve yesterday, we were trying to figure out how to get you into a decent massage. And we have someone we're talking about being clients anyway. And then we're just going to send you to them. Okay. And it would be great. And so you can have a good, and we'll make sure it's a female
Starting point is 00:04:33 therapist. Yeah, can we? We can screen them. And I'm also not saying that dudes are bad. I don't want one. Oh, yeah. No. But you don't? I would think you'd want the opposite. Wouldn't you? The opposite? Or, oh yes. So you're sorry. Wait, so a massage to you. Is it, in your mind, it just sucks if you want the opposite? No. You're right. I don't know. I heard wrong. Yeah, you want a girl. It's less awkward. Well, it'd be less awkward. It'd be less, I don't know. Have you ever had a man? Yeah, it's fine. It always is great. But again, dude, I don't go in for like three stone lotion. I go in because I've got like a shoulder injury or...
Starting point is 00:05:17 There's more deep tissue. Yeah. For some reason, Amy makes everything sound perfect. Like the last three months. That's what it's called. Like when she gets on the wrestling stuff, she's always like, raw. And then she's like, Audibles asked me to like tie me up. We're like, you know why? Because you've been pervy amos for three months.
Starting point is 00:05:32 They're seeing the appeal of it. No, they wanted me to say, you don't have to be, you don't want to be pinned down unless you want to be. Yeah. Yeah, or you can't be pinned down. Are you satisfied with your books? Unless you want to be.
Starting point is 00:05:46 We're going to send you somewhere good, Abby. Okay. I would rather have a female masseuse. My wife would rather have a female masseuse. Same. And I've gone to a guy. The first time I ever went to a guy, he was massaging my back in a really weird way. And he told me he was tenderizing the meat.
Starting point is 00:06:05 That's so weird. It was not a term you should use. No, I know. But he was doing it like this weird, like on my back, just like really weird. Was he going, ugh. No, there was no moaning. But I remember coming on the show, it was like 2006, I think, when I got this done. And I remember coming to work the next morning and telling y'all about it.
Starting point is 00:06:24 And I'm like, he was tenderizing the meat. And y'all were all like, that's so weird. Yeah, we still feel that way. Weird. Something's changed. We still feel that's weird to say. But it was the massage at Barton Creek Mall. So I don't know.
Starting point is 00:06:35 So another thing is I have had dudes, like the, like Dr. Jeremy comes to my house. And I've hurt myself in multiple ways. And he comes over. But he doesn't he a chiropractor? He is. That's different. But he also does, like, rubbing. Yeah, like deep muscle work.
Starting point is 00:06:53 And I don't feel weird about that, but I also know, like, his story. Oh, you need a background story. I think so. You need to know more about it. I need to know more about them if they're going to be touching me if they're a dude. Yeah. Yeah. I did have a weird, my only really weird experience was with a woman when she kissed my forehead.
Starting point is 00:07:09 Yeah, that was very weird. That was a woman. I don't need, that's so inappropriate. That was at the end? Yeah. She, like, did stuff, like, like rub stuff on my eyes and forehead, like her, whatever. and then went right no way right yeah right that is so weird like how old was that one she was older yeah that's weird yeah that's weird yeah it's weird abby but we're gonna set you up do we want to say
Starting point is 00:07:32 where scuba or no we're waiting we can say it's not closed yet but at the client okay well hold until we get it figured out and then uh you're going to have a great experience i feel we're gonna send you to we're not going to be like give us your best we're just going to say like make it a female so we can show that it's not weird to get one that the only time you don't get a good one's if you get the best. Just normal massage therapists are really good. I think Abby's going to love it.
Starting point is 00:07:56 She needs, I think it'll be helpful for her. Yeah, she needs it. Where I'm not tense the whole time. Yeah. I think it'd be good. Bad news for Eddie. He's been trying to get his passport because I'm like, dude, we'll go out of the country.
Starting point is 00:08:09 Like, just finally get your passport. And you've gone as far as, oh, I like, I did everything. I went to the public library. I made an appointment. I gave them all my documentation. I paid the money, which wasn't cheap. And they said, thank you.
Starting point is 00:08:21 We have everything we need. We'll ship it out. And you'll hear from us in, you know, four weeks, four to six weeks. Okay, then? I get an email out of nowhere that says your status has been on hold due to needing more identification. Did you send enough identification? I gave everything that was on the list. What do you think the reason is?
Starting point is 00:08:41 Ice. Oh, my gosh. But you're born in America. I agree. But your parents are also American citizens. Okay, you want to know what's crazy? My wife? Hers came in.
Starting point is 00:08:54 Oh, no. But she's white. However, her last name is Garcia. Yeah, but not on her birth certificate. Her face is white. Oh, man. So now they're just judging by picture. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:05 That's crazy. Well, that's why they pull people. That's why they grab people sometimes. I know, but I just, I understand that that's a real severe situation that is happening. This is severe. This is what's happening to any. My passport's on hold. Because ice.
Starting point is 00:09:18 Ice. Like, no, I really don't know what it is. I see, you can't even say that. They said that I can call this week and find out what it is. But I have to wait until, like, that week goes by. They're like, we're going to send you what we need in the mail. But unless it doesn't get there within this date, then call the office. If you want it to go faster, have the conversation in Spanish.
Starting point is 00:09:41 No. No, I'm going to be like, I don't. I don't know Spanish. I know no Spanish. Born and raised here in America. Tennessee. In Tennessee. Min no a blah.
Starting point is 00:09:51 Esponial. Oh, man. Like, what do you think? I don't know. I think there's probably a backlog or something. Here, here's what I think. My wife and my kids got it, right? Oh.
Starting point is 00:10:01 Yes. He, they, for whatever reason, did they go with you at the same exact time? Yes, we were all there. And you had everything equal to what they had. Everything. The only difference my wife said is that I have this week. birth certificate in a card form. No, she says it's in a card form.
Starting point is 00:10:17 I have one of those too. Okay. It's like a social security card. No, my wife's a paper. Like a whole sheet of paper? And all my kids are a paper. But mine's like half a piece of paper. Mine's like a card.
Starting point is 00:10:28 A laminated card. Yes, mine's a card. Oh, that's a problem. What is that? See, that's what my wife thinks like, I've never seen a card like that. Me neither. I've got mine knowing I use that card. So it's ice.
Starting point is 00:10:39 Got it. It's ice. Dude, I'm worried. I had people so mad. at me. And we've been doing the bit for, like Amy said, we've been doing the show a long time. And we've been doing the bit pre the political eye stuff
Starting point is 00:10:51 and it's, we do American trivia and loser gets deported. We've been saying that forever. Like if you don't, it's nothing to do with somebody being here illegally. It's just if you don't know America, we just send you off somewhere. I had so many people like it, the eye situation is so sensitive right now. Why would you make that joke? First of all, I understand how sensitive the eye situation is. Don't let my buddy Eddie get a passport. And I don't
Starting point is 00:11:11 like that. And it really is. A real thing. And I do feel like it has gone a few levels too far, quite frankly. It's now the most, they have more money than any of the law enforcement body in America. Ice. Yeah, which is crazy. But I don't make that joke for that. And also, I'm not going to stop doing the joke because it wasn't targeted anything. It's targeted at Morgan from Kansas or me or Eddie who got, we don't know because I won't give him a passport.
Starting point is 00:11:37 We don't only know Eddie's story now. I really think that, like, if I would have submitted my stuff, for a passport like three years ago, no problem. But? But now I can't think of any other reason other than this. Big beautiful bill passed and ICE has all the money and so now they're looking to crack down. Like, it's crazy, dude. I need my passport.
Starting point is 00:11:56 Morgan? You said you had laminate? Yeah, laminated card. It can't be laminated. I think that's why. Okay, take it out of the laminated. Well, they're not going to do that. But my card is not laminated, it's plastic.
Starting point is 00:12:09 That's fine. That's laminated. No, there's a, no. Laminated. It goes to a machine. No, everything plastic is not laminated. Oh, I see you know. Your driver's license is plastic, but it's not laminated.
Starting point is 00:12:19 Now that I say that, I was like. Wait, but your birth certificate is like a plastic, like a driver's license? Yes, it's both. I have two. I have the paper and I have the plastic, but I set the plastic in because I thought the paper. Where did you get that? It's like it all has to be original copies and it cannot be altered in any way. Right.
Starting point is 00:12:35 This was not altered. Well, laminated is altered. No, I got it. That's how my parents gave it to me from the hospital. original. They laminated and gave it plastic or is it laminated? Dude, I don't have it with me.
Starting point is 00:12:47 So all I can remember is it's like a card. It's like a student ID, you know, but bigger. It's the size of like... Then it's plastic. I would say it's plastic. Okay. And it has a little seal on it.
Starting point is 00:12:59 And it says where I was born. That's not laminated. That's what I have. That's not laminated. Yours is plastic. You just let us astray for a minute. I'm back to ice now. Now I'm back to ice.
Starting point is 00:13:08 For a second, I was, okay, it's laminated. Morgan brings up a great point. but I think you misled us a bit. So if say I need a new birth certificate, like, what's that process? You can get one of those. You just draw it on a piece of paper and send it in. As long as you sign it, it's true.
Starting point is 00:13:23 No, I think you can get one of those in a couple weeks, a few weeks. Oh my gosh. I don't know. My mind is blown. Me too. I never know there's a plastic burster certificate. And apparently when my heart. Mine's at the bank in a safe.
Starting point is 00:13:36 My card. Your burst certificate card? Like what's it say on it? at home. Yeah, your birth certificate is at home. My bank, my birth certificate card, which is also have a social security card too, same exact size. But that's paper. Nope, I have a card as well.
Starting point is 00:13:50 That's plastic? Mm-hmm. And it's also at the bank in the security box. Is this like an Arkansas thing? With my Mickey Mantle rookie. What? Is this an Arkansas thing? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:13:59 Yeah. I'm from Texas. I know. We just gathered around, had sex with pigs and had plastic. We're your cousins. Morgan, go ahead. I think it's a birth registration card, which is something you get. before the, you get the
Starting point is 00:14:11 certificate of birth, so some people can have both. So like the, it, I was just reading about it. And some of them look like, this. Green. Yeah, grayish great. Well, my, I'm pretty colorblind. Is that kind of what yours looks like? No.
Starting point is 00:14:24 I'm visually impaired. That's the certificate. No, this is not a certificate. It's a card. Eddie, get it? If you get it, mine looks like the blue-ish one. Okay, that's a birth certificate. And if it's in something, it's laminated.
Starting point is 00:14:35 Burst certificates do not come laminated. Will you bring it tomorrow? All I'm, what? They have it. Oh, they didn't get sent it back? No. They have it. And here's the thing, though, like, I sat.
Starting point is 00:14:45 You show up the office, they arrest you and send you away? Dude, this is a trap. This is like when the... Oh, yeah, this is bait. When they were, Amy, back in the day, this is awesome, Amy. They were giving VCRs to people. And they were also giving a Super Bowl ticket.
Starting point is 00:14:56 They've done this a couple times. But they would give VCR's people, and they'd show up, and they'd be like, here to get my VCR, or I'm here to get my Super Bowl tickets, but there were people that they arrested right then because they had outstanding warrants. Oh, yes, yes, yes. They like locked the doors behind them.
Starting point is 00:15:08 Yeah. That's what they're going to do to me when I show up. Hey, suckas. Yep. Sorry about that, dude. Yeah. I'll keep you guys updated. Yes, Eddie, laminating a birth certificate is discouraged.
Starting point is 00:15:19 Why did you laminate it? I did it. But here's the thing that when I went to the library, why didn't they tell me this isn't going to work? Because they don't get as like a bump. They're like, we don't. You should figure out your own. Like we don't get paid enough to help you figure out exactly what you should do it.
Starting point is 00:15:34 Thank you for the documents. We're going to send it off. Yeah, they don't get paid enough to do their job, Eddie. Your parents probably did that, Eddie. And they gave you the copied birth certificate. They probably have the real one somewhere. Yeah, call your mom. But you can get more, yeah, because...
Starting point is 00:15:45 Operation Flagship, one of the examples was a sting operation conducted by the U.S. Marshals in 1985, where they lured wanted criminals to a fake event at the Washington Convention Center under the guise of winning free Redskins football tickets. The operation successfully led to the rest of 101 fugitives. That's crazy. Like, hearing it is crazy, but watching it, I'm... I think it's a 30 for 30. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:07 Watching it and they interview all these people and they're so excited. Like, go to the Super Bowl, baby! They're not. They're going to jail. Okay. Let's take a quick break. We'll come back in a few minutes to talk about the couple that were digging under their house. They found a Nazi bunker.
Starting point is 00:16:23 What the? Yeah, it's crazy. We'll take a break. We'll come back. A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care what I'm saying. Yep, that's me.
Starting point is 00:16:33 Clever Taylor the 4th. You might have seen the skits. the reactions, my journey from basketball to college football, or my career in sports media. Well, somewhere along the way, this platform became bigger than I ever imagined. And now I'm bringing all of that excitement to my brand new podcast, The Clifford Show. This is a place for raw, unfiltered conversations with some of your favorite athletes, creators, and voices that not only deserve to be heard, but celebrated. One week, I'll take you behind the scenes of the biggest moments in sports and entertainment,
Starting point is 00:17:01 and the next we'll talk about life, mental health, purpose, and even music. The Clifford Show isn't just a podcast. It's a space for honest conversations, stories that don't always get told, and for people who are chasing something bigger. So, if you've ever supported me or you're just chasing down a dream, this is right where you need to be.
Starting point is 00:17:19 Listen to The Clifford show on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast. And for more behind the scenes, follow at Clifford and at TikTok Podcast Network on TikTok. You can have opinions. You can have like a strong stance and then there's your body having its own program. I'm Dr. Maya Shunker, a cognitive scientist and hosts of the podcast, a slight change of plans,
Starting point is 00:17:46 a show about who we are and who we become when life makes other plans. We share stories and scientific insights to help us all better navigate these periods of turbulence and transformation. There is one finding that is consistent, and that is that our resilience rests on our relationship. I wish that I hadn't resisted for so long the need to change. We have to be willing to live with a kind of uncertainty that none of us likes. Listen to a slight change of plans on the I-Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. On a recent episode of the podcast Money and Wealth with John Hobriant, I sit down with Tiffany the budgetista Aliche to talk about what it really takes to take control of your money. What would that look like in our families if everyone was able to pass on wealth to the people when they're no longer here?
Starting point is 00:18:43 We break down budgeting, financial discipline, and how to build real wealth, starting with the mindset shifts. Too many of us were never, ever taught. Financial education is not always about, like, I'm going to get rich. That's great. It's about creating an atmosphere for you to be able to take care of yourself and leave a strong financial legacy for your family. If you've ever felt you didn't get the memo on money, this conversation is for you to hear more. Listen to Money and Wealth with John O'Brien from the Black Effect Network on the I'd Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. If you're watching the latest season of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, you already know there's a lot to break down.
Starting point is 00:19:31 Gorsha accusing Kelly of sleeping with a merry man. They holding Kay Michelle back from fighting Drew. Pinky has financial issues. I like the bougie style of Housewives show. I think it looks like it's going to be interesting. On the podcast, Reality with the King, I, Carlos King, recap the biggest moments from your favorite reality shows, including the Real Housewives franchise,
Starting point is 00:19:52 the drama, the alliances, and the team everybody's talking about. As an executive producer in reality television, I'm not just watching it. I understand the game. As somebody who creates shows, I'll even say this. At the end of the day, when people are at home, they want entertainment. To hear this and more, listen to Reality with the King on the IHard Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Hey, earners, what's up?
Starting point is 00:20:20 Look, money is something we all deal with, but financial literacy is what helps turn income into real wealth. On each episode of the podcast, Earn Your Leisure, we break down the conversations you need to understand money, investing, and entrepreneurship. From stocks and real estate to credit, business, and generational wealth, we translate complex financial topics into real conversations everyone can understand. Because the truth is, most people will never taught how money really works. But once you understand the system, you can start to build within it. That means ownership, smarter investing, and creating opportunities not just for yourself,
Starting point is 00:20:56 but for the next generation. If you want to learn how to build wealth, understand the markets, and think like an owner, Earn Your Leisure is the podcast for you. Listen to Earn Your Leisure on the I Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. A couple got a huge surprise when they dug up their driveway and found a Nazi bunker hidden under their house. That's crazy.
Starting point is 00:21:22 The bunker had been blocked up since the 1960s, was still in good shape. It has two main rooms, still has the original tiled floors and escape hatch and German writing on the walls, including a message that says, beware the enemy is listening from BBC. Where is this?
Starting point is 00:21:38 Normandy. Wow. By the way, if you guys want to call us, our phone lines are still open. If you're watching us on YouTube right now and you want to call the show, perfect opportunity. 877-77 Bobby, that's our number. Abbey is on the phone, ready to go. 877 Bobby. The bunker had been blocked up since the 60s.
Starting point is 00:21:57 Again, it was in good shape. Two main rooms. A bunch of German writing on the wall. Like old-school German writing. Not that makes any different, but it just looks very Nazi. That's from BBC. People often visit now to see the history and think it's important to preserve it, so people remember what happened during the war.
Starting point is 00:22:18 You can probably sell that to a museum or something. The bunker? Yeah, like the whole... I don't know. I don't know. It's such a negative, nasty part of the world. And I agree, but if it's like in a neighborhood, you really can't throw up a museum right in the middle of a neighborhood.
Starting point is 00:22:33 That's a good, like, point. point, right? Like, just preserving history like that. Do you want to preserve history like that because it was so bad and so negative? I think you want to preserve it so it doesn't happen again, right? Because if you lose the ability to share all the bad things that happen, the bad things happen again. They already almost happen again anyway, but hopefully you're able to teach young people how bad this is so they don't develop, not thinking it's good, but always thinking that this type of action is bad. And like the Holocaust Museum, been to that one here in America. And yeah, it's incredibly sad and it's a tragic experience to go through,
Starting point is 00:23:10 much less to have actually been in times a million. Crazy what they had to go through. So I'm all for preserving the past and for history to keep things from happening again. It would just be weird because it's in a neighborhood. That is weird. Like, what do you do with it? You probably dig it up and move it. You could?
Starting point is 00:23:29 I think, right? Like they move houses all the time. It's underground. I'm sure they could. remove parts of it and then take it and kind of reconstruct some of it. Yeah. Yeah, but different than moving a house that you can lift up and go than having to dig in. I'm sure you could, but this feels like it would be times three of a process.
Starting point is 00:23:46 Technology is pretty good now. Like, they find dinosaurs and they put it all together somewhere else. Yeah, but they're able to get that out. This is like under the ground. You got to take the house up. Now you've got to go in and get that. It's also worth of money to do that. But.
Starting point is 00:24:01 Maybe you just like cut out that part. What about resale? What if you were going to buy this house? and there's like, yeah, it's a great house, but there's a Nazi bunker under it. Oh. I'm sure some weird. I'm good. I don't want it.
Starting point is 00:24:10 I don't even know that has to be weird. It could be weird, but I think if you just love the house so much, would you take that? I've thought about that on a similar-ish note. Like murder. Like murder. So I get to murder in the house. Murder or in North Carolina when we lived there, it was looking at like really, really old houses. And I was just thinking, like, what families used to live here?
Starting point is 00:24:32 did they did they have slaves here I don't know it just like makes you think like that I don't support that you may buy a property or have a house that once had that history part of the land a pedophile lived in a house
Starting point is 00:24:47 nobody was murder there but they don't have to disclose that yeah they probably don't and no they don't they would not advertise pedophile well it's like they have to at some places you have to say there was a murder I think some places you don't I think it's a federal law but
Starting point is 00:25:01 I think it's a federal law I think I'd rather live in a place where somebody was murdered than somebody who mess with kids. Yeah, I agree. What about where someone killed themselves? I don't know if that's not a murder. I'm not sure. It is a murder. It's self-murder.
Starting point is 00:25:14 I don't think that. Murder is a crime. Murder you get charged with. Okay. Murder of one self. That's what I was a pretty sad place. And also murder is done with intent. I get it now.
Starting point is 00:25:27 Yeah. I guess I was just thinking, you know. But like chances that somebody died in a house are pretty good. good, right? In an older house? Yeah. At some point. But what if they died of natural causes? Okay, well, there you go. Natural cause.
Starting point is 00:25:39 Yeah, I think if it's like all these things happen in the house, murder's like maybe top five, but not one to. I mean, because if you're like a child molester used to live here, I'd rather live in the murder house in the child molester house or a bunch of Nazis lived. I don't know that I think I'd rather have the murder house. This is a page out of Amy's book, but I wouldn't it be worse if like there were murders in the house and they never caught the killer? Yeah, I don't want him coming back.
Starting point is 00:26:06 I don't think that's a thing. Why not? If the old house, the killer's probably dead by now and also the killer probably had something. Assuming it happened 20 years ago and the killer still alive. And he's like, sick, sick, sick person. And you know he's driving around the house every now and then be like, I'm going to do it again. No.
Starting point is 00:26:23 Oh, no. No. Or like his crazy, expensive townhouse that he lived in. Nope. Just the vibe in there. I mean, if I had that much money, I'd find a different one. Would you buy Epstein's? That was the biggest house in Manhattan, Epstein's house.
Starting point is 00:26:37 No, because cameras are everywhere. We're good. I'm not doing Epstein. I do Bernie Madoff, okay, he was just scamming some money. I agree with that. That's okay. That is different than trafficking. What about the island?
Starting point is 00:26:48 The island's kind of cool. No. That's tough because too many bad things. No, no. Every kid who was raped there? No, I don't want to be there. Allegedly. And like he didn't murder that we know of, Epstein.
Starting point is 00:26:59 But I would love in a murder house. in his place. I think that we know of. Yeah. Yeah. That's what I said. Oh, yeah, yeah. I agree with you on that.
Starting point is 00:27:07 So in California, sellers must disclose any death on the property. Alaska, sellers must disclose any murder or suicide on that one. And South Dakota, sellers must disclose any death within 12 months. So in South Dakota, what you do? You just wait a year to sell it.
Starting point is 00:27:20 Nothing to see here. 366 days. All right. Sell the house. Like, did anybody buy, like, did new people live in the Meninda's home? I don't know, but if they do, they, if they do and they were weirded out, they could have easily knocked the house down and built new on the land. So then you get into the debate about, okay, murdered in the house.
Starting point is 00:27:40 It was also on the land, but can you knock the house down and feel good about it if you're building a new house? And I would say yes. Yes. New place. But all that stuff is just physical stuff anyway that really there isn't anything that rubs off onto the net. Even if you moved into that house, it's just the vibe is weird. Yeah, it's just the memory of that place. Like I was watching the Idaho murder thing, documentary. And they tore the house down.
Starting point is 00:28:02 The one with the kids, the four college kids, they completely demolished that house. I get it. Yeah, I think that that's also helpful for the college campus and that memory to just be like, let's get rid of it. The infamous Beverly Hills mansion where Lyle and Eric Menendez murdered their parents in 1989 sold in March of 2024 for $17 million. An LLC reportedly associated with a wealthy Iranian family. They probably didn't even tell them. Right. You're like, if you're from another country, are you like, okay.
Starting point is 00:28:28 especially one like iran where again we only hear the bad version of the news over there right yeah there's no good news no there's nothing the good news network never puts it any stories about things happening in iran so i have this this terrible idea of what it's unfair because it's obviously propagandized what we hear about certain places whenever they're pitched to us as our enemy and the only thing that we get are all these negative stories about it we should find it tell me something good Iran. No. Can you find one?
Starting point is 00:28:59 Why not? You think Iranian people are bad? It's just, they're just people. There's people that happen to be born there. Okay, true. So let's find some good, tell me something good, Iran. I agree. I agree.
Starting point is 00:29:09 Mike, let me know when you get one. Might be tough to find. I don't think it will be, actually. They probably have good news over there. Yeah, they're probably, again, we are shoved into areas because of what the creators want us to see. right so our view of iran is that only of what the movies and television and the news show us because we ain't going there i just said the same thing probably about saudi arabia
Starting point is 00:29:39 like forever ago until they were like launched a whole PR campaign come here same thing with like Dubai i've never i've personally never been scared to go to Dubai you know why because of the PR campaign there like you ever get on iran and tick tock and see like the cities and how freaking beautiful they are. I've seen it a couple times. It looks awesome, but I'm not going on. I'm scared. Lindsay Lohan lives in Dubai. And I saw her on, I don't know, some talk show.
Starting point is 00:30:09 And she was talking about how she loves living there and you cannot. You cannot film. Andy Cohen. I think, yes, she must have been doing a circuit. But she was speaking on how it's so great when she goes out to eat. Like it's illegal to take your phone out and film anybody. It's not just a celebrity. It's anybody.
Starting point is 00:30:27 You know, we've like film all kinds of things everywhere And it's just illegal there. And the only thing that I would compare it to is other countries hearing about all the guns that we have and they're like, I would never go to America. That's the most dangerous place ever. They have more gun killings than any country in the world. Think about that.
Starting point is 00:30:41 Like what we're known as is having more gun deaths of anywhere in the world. That's crazier than the stuff that we see about other countries. They probably think like, oh my gosh, I would never send my kids to school in America. People just shooting people all the time everywhere. That's what it seems like. So it's all about how the news is fed to us.
Starting point is 00:31:02 And if you don't think propaganda still exists, you're out of your mind. We got one, Mike? Maybe. Okay. A volunteer doctor injured in Israel's attack described how prisoner saved her life during the strike. Oh, so there was an attack on a prison, and she was a volunteer doctor, and the prisoner saved her life. Oh, that is good news. A prisoner.
Starting point is 00:31:24 Yeah, good job. Side-Ey-Mcarram, an infectious disease specialist who volunteered at the the prison for years was treating inmates when Israel attacked the prison and the doctor suffered severe injuries. I was half dead. The prisoners dragged me to a corner, brought me a bucket of water in a blanket and a blanket and a blanket and a blanket and cleaned the blood from my face. They could have fled but they stayed. One of them said, you and our sister, you are our sister. Of course, won't leave you alone. Tell me something good. And that's good, but it's still like, it still gives the image of like, oh man, a war and bad. I don't think there is technologically
Starting point is 00:31:54 advanced as we are. But is there anything where like a life guard saved someone? But why is that bad? It just still has the imagery of like, oh, what was he in prison for? It's a dangerous country. She treats prisoners every week in memory of her father who's now hospitalized with serious injuries. I also don't think just because someone's in prison, they're bad. No, I mean, my dad was going to Saudi prison or jail. Or like stealing milk. But you never know.
Starting point is 00:32:18 This could be a vanilla stealer. He wasn't stealing vanilla. He imported vanilla extract, which is alcohol into the country. Finger quotes. I think it's probably a little more than that, don't you? Like he's probably a spy or something? My dad? No.
Starting point is 00:32:29 the person you don't think it was. No, I guarantee you. He went to jail for vanilla. Yes, it extract, which is a percentage of alcohol. I think your dad's probably doing good stuff for America over there and you don't even know it. He was extracting information.
Starting point is 00:32:41 Yep. Okay. If that's the case, that's awesome. Yeah. You should be happy with you. No, don't say that because retaliation. I may hear this. No, I mean, this was the late 70s.
Starting point is 00:32:53 We're good. Yeah. Before you? By the way, I don't want to go to Iran. Yeah, or maybe 80, maybe 1980. I don't know. I'd have to pull out the photos. I don't want to go South Carolina today. It's also around Ron.
Starting point is 00:33:04 You don't want to go to South Carolina? I don't go anywhere. Just stay here. Yeah, I'm good. Thank you. Thank you. I mean, thinking about flying all that to California and a few weeks what you have to do is sounds miserable.
Starting point is 00:33:14 I just want to stay home. So, Ron does not sound good to me right now. It's too hot and sandy. And I don't even know that's the case. It's just, I'm just thinking of the shows. I know, that's not being. I know, that's crazy. Everything is built into our head because it's been baked in there.
Starting point is 00:33:26 Like, whenever you see, like, snow in, like, Africa. Like, that's crazy. Because you're just like, oh, I've always thought that it's just hot and deserty there. I went and I met with about a show idea. I had a concept for something. This company heard about it. They said, hey, come and we'd like to meet with you about doing this concept with you. And so I go and they do a lot of international shows.
Starting point is 00:33:47 This was like eight months ago. And I go and they just wanted like three or four Emmys for some stuff that they do. Like super international. And my idea was international. And so I go over. and they've gone to most countries but they're American. And I was like, I feel like, this is the same thing I said. I feel like we're taught growing up forever what they want us to think of other places
Starting point is 00:34:10 because they're, for whatever reason, we're fighting with them. And mostly it's just about money, right? If it's about us, we want the oil or mostly. And so I said, I feel like there's an unfair version of these places that we have. And I feel like there's an unfair version of us because a lot of people, a lot of countries hate us. because we're big and loud. And the joke is you can always tell her the American is at the restaurant if you're in another country because they have no manners.
Starting point is 00:34:36 And so I was like, I want to go and regardless of the concept. And they were like, we love it. I said, when you guys travel, like, what have you found to be the biggest misconception that we Americans have toward other countries? They're like, China's awesome. They're like, it's the safest. It feels very, it's not the West, but it feels very, very west in that streets and cars and buy stuff and you feel great and food's cheap and you can live and it's like china's we go and we
Starting point is 00:35:03 freaking love it and they go we're taught you know they're so corrupt blah blah and communism but they're taught the same crap that how corrupt our politics is and how many guns we have our politics are corrupt they're very corrupt but they're like well they're not that bad but they're as corrupt as anywhere else so I still didn't want to go join up what about like Haiti though you guys like been to Haiti and that's very Dangerous, right? That's like third. That's very dangerous.
Starting point is 00:35:30 It's the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere and also it is the infrastructure there is very weak of like government and. That's so corrupt over there. Civil unrest and gangs running. They don't have the infrastructure to stop the outward corruption. We're dealing with a lot of inward corruption in America. Well, theirs is. But it's outward and outer. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:51 Yeah. There's just it's sad because it's almost like it's like a. they just sabotaged. They can't get out of their own way. And it's so terrible. And it's a lot of people just trying to survive looking out for their own self because survival is looking out for oneself
Starting point is 00:36:07 and it's all those groups doing that just fighting to, they can have, they can get. And those are the ones that are able to take over because there are a lot of really beautiful, kind, loving people in Haiti. And it's just they have to deal with the people that have overtaken it.
Starting point is 00:36:23 And it's, I hate that my kids can't go back. I hate it. Because like when we adopted them, I was going there frequently. And then it got bad right after we brought them to America. And our plan all along was to have them go visit their families after they'd been with us for about two years. And during that two year time frame is when it really just fell apart. And it's totally unsafe to go. In the end, regardless of wherever you go, humans are still born human.
Starting point is 00:36:49 And I think there is something inside of everyone to be good and do good. and look out for others unless it's corrupted. So you have to think all these places, you just have a bunch of people just trying to survive, just like here. And the culture then dictates how they feel or what they have to do in survival. But, yeah, I've never been,
Starting point is 00:37:11 and again, in the last 10 years, so I've been able to travel a little bit. It's awesome to, like, see other cultures. And it opens you up because I never thought I would leave the country. Heck, I never thought until I was like 18 or 19. I would leave Arkansas much. But it definitely opens you up.
Starting point is 00:37:29 My daughter really wants to go to Japan and South Korea. Japan's awesome. It takes forever to get there, but it's awesome. I know, I've got to figure that one out. It's like the Jetsons. There's parts of it where you're like, what are we in? Like, we're 2000 and late. They're 3008.
Starting point is 00:37:46 Dang. Yeah. Will I am? It seems like such a movie, but it's real. And it's safe and it's safer and cleaner than any big city I've ever been. been in America. Which city was that? Tokyo.
Starting point is 00:37:59 I say I like that too. I talk about it. Tokyo. I'm taller than everybody. It was awesome. Really? Yeah. It was freaking amazing.
Starting point is 00:38:05 I bet you loved that. It was amazing, dude. Okay. ABC's developing a series based on a real high school forensics class that solves cold cases. Cool. True crime fans are sure to love that ABC is developing a drama series based on the true story of a high school club that solve these cases.
Starting point is 00:38:22 The series called Killer Class will be based. on Keith Sharon's article from the Tennessean about a group of students and their teacher from Elizabethton High School in Tennessee. The show tracks the unexpected formation of a high school forensics club that proved shockingly effective at solving real cold cases.
Starting point is 00:38:39 As the series in development, there's no word on casting our premiere date. That's pretty cool. Where is that school? Elizabethan. Is that here in town? Or it's Knoxville? I don't know it. I know there's Elizabethan, Kentucky. Elizabeth Town. No, it's ton.
Starting point is 00:38:55 No, I know the one she's talking about. Is it town? Okay. Mike, where's that Elizabeth Tennessee? Johnson City. Oh, so it's Far East. Johnson City. Tennessee.
Starting point is 00:39:07 Yeah, it's Far East. It's Bristol, Johnson City. I went over there for a job once. And I was still in Hot Springs. Oh. They offered me a job to come to the Tri-Cities. So I flew out there. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:18 Roofing houses? What are you doing? No, radio. Oh. I didn't leave because I want to graduate college. Got it. Yeah, I was like 19. And they were like, we want to hire a
Starting point is 00:39:25 come do nights in the Tri-Cities. And so I flew out there. There was some issues in my mom at the time. And then also I wanted to graduate college. And so went out to look to the racetrack. There was no race. Yeah. But yeah. That's where I crossed the finish line on my walk. In Johnson City, Tennessee? No. Bristol. One of the Tri-Cities. Yep. Cool story. The Poulter guy's house from the 1982 horror movie is now being rented out to the public. That's cool. We're talking about houses. You can buy. But that's different because nothing happened there. It's just a movie. talk about this because Poldo guys like the real didn't like everybody like die shooting the movie
Starting point is 00:39:59 and stuff? I don't know that they died. That doesn't sound familiar. I think people died while making the movie. I know in one scene they used like real bodies. Uh, Google that up. Homeowner Rachel Powers invested about $165,000 to recreate the set of the 80s classic and is now offering it Airbnb, Verbo, Future Stay. She purchased the property, again, put a bunch of money into it. They did a two-hour season 29 premiere of the ghost adventures in April 2025. They used a combination of devices including ITC, Spirit Box, digital voice recorders, Polaroid cameras, and they found activity. Paranormal activity.
Starting point is 00:40:40 The attempt to connect to the dead was a success. They caught some electronic communication, an object moving unexpectedly, cold spots, flickering lights, troublesome locks, energy drains, and activity around the old TV from TMZ. Multiple cast members. from the poltergast died during and shortly after filming. Oh. That's serious. Which led to the speculation about a curse.
Starting point is 00:41:00 Four actors in particular experienced untimely deaths that fueled these rumors. That's weird. It is weird. Boom. That movie freaked me out as a kid, man. Never watched it. Don't watch that crap. You should watch it now.
Starting point is 00:41:12 I don't like jump scares. Yeah, there's some jump scares. Yeah, I've realized through the help of Mike and the guidance of Mike that I don't much hate things just because there's scary concepts. I don't mind zombies. But zombies really are doing upstairs. They're slow. I'm okay with that. You don't mind the violence.
Starting point is 00:41:30 No, I don't mind the violence at all. I don't love when things. They don't come out of it. It's just scared them. Nothing supernatural. Nothing slasher. No, nothing. Nothing.
Starting point is 00:41:41 We did some Tuesday, Reviews Day stuff today on the movies, but we should do, I can do a couple other things. I watched over the last few weeks. I watched Alice in Borderland. Came out, I think less than a year before Squid Games. They're very similar. I'm not sure if, like, the writers, like, I don't know what the controversy is there. But it came out before Squid Game.
Starting point is 00:42:06 So if you watch it, you're going to be like, it feels like Squid Game. But it wasn't derivative of Squid Game, nor do I think Squid Game was derivative of it, but they do have the same voice in it. It's like three minutes. The next game is... Oh, the announcer?
Starting point is 00:42:20 Mm-hmm. And Squid Game is about a bunch of people who are put into one area, and they got to play and only one person lives. This is about something happens and all of a sudden they don't know what it is. They can't figure it out. But they have to complete these games,
Starting point is 00:42:32 these tasks in order just to live. But people, it's crazy. Season one was awesome. It's South Korean. No, it's Japanese. Squid game is Korean, right? Korean, yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:42:43 And Allison Borderline is Japanese. Season one's awesome. I give season one four and a half out of five playing cards. Yeah, you made me start it. I'm almost halfway through. Season 1. Once you get over,
Starting point is 00:42:55 wow, this is a lot like Squid Games. Then it gets a lot better. Did you feel that way? Yeah. But then you go, it came out before, so I have to look at it like that. Second season, I give it like three and a half. The ending of the second season is fantastic.
Starting point is 00:43:09 And there's a third season coming out in September this year. I think of 25th. Yeah. So, yeah, that's what I give it. And then we watched, have you guys seen Lazarus, the Lazarus Project? Mm-mm.
Starting point is 00:43:19 It's awesome. Four and a half. Four and a half. What is that fun? I just assume it's from another country. England. No, Lazarus died and came back. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:43:28 Like in the Bible. I'm out. No, it's not about the Bible. It's out. It's not about the Bible. But it's the Lazarus Project. And it was on sci-fi, but it's British. They're all British, but I think it was on sci-fi here in America.
Starting point is 00:43:44 It's great. Let me read the description so I don't mess it up. An affecting exploration. I mean just not read that part. George thinks he's beginning to lose touch with reality when he finds himself living the same day over and over again. A chance encounter reveals that George is very much in touch with reality.
Starting point is 00:44:07 George's understanding of his perception and he has to choose. Anyway, that's long. It's just about them being able to reset time when something really bad happens. It's good. Solid. And the episode's like 45 minutes.
Starting point is 00:44:21 It's like the perfect time because it doesn't feel so short like a 30-minute sitcom and it's not like an hour 10, which does feel a little much. What rating did it get, Mike? 100%. Hmm. Dang.
Starting point is 00:44:36 So the tomato got 100% and then almost 80% in the people. It's good. It's two seasons and it's over. You Google Lazarth. The show comes up. Lazarus? Oh.
Starting point is 00:44:49 Not Lazarth. Oh. Lazarth is a thriller. I can't speak on that one. Okay. It's called the Lazarus Project. Anything else in your Tuesday reviews? No.
Starting point is 00:45:01 Not that I've finished other than Amy Bradley is missing. No, I need to. I need to. Have you given anything a five? No. Nothing? I don't think so.
Starting point is 00:45:14 Nothing. I don't know that a five is able to be had. What do you mean? Like the best, best, best, best, best, best. Like Forrest Gunt. Would that be a five? I don't know. I don't watch it now.
Starting point is 00:45:22 Do you give season one a squid game of five? If I did, that's it. But I don't remember. I can't remember giving anything a five ever. What's the definition of a five for you? I just don't think there's perfection. Severance? Possibly gave it a five, season one, season two, not season two,
Starting point is 00:45:39 poop, one poop. And that declined real quick. I think it fell off so much because one was so good. I think I still would have liked to a lot if one wouldn't have been so good. I don't know. I know now in my mind there's nothing's perfect. So it's hard. I can't give it a five.
Starting point is 00:45:58 But that's only my scale. Okay. It's like, I don't think there's such things as a 10 person. A 10 per, like a human being? Yeah, when it's like, he's a 10, she's a 10. I don't think there's such thing as a 10. What song is that? He's a 10.
Starting point is 00:46:11 I don't know. I thought you were singing a song. Y'all a song? I don't know. She's a 10, I'm a 2. Oh, maybe. That's ours. Maybe that's it.
Starting point is 00:46:20 No way. I was thinking that. And if you're bored with the Lazarus Project, there is a movie you can watch with Paul Walker. But not the same. It's not based on. The same. Lazarus is a commonly used... Yeah.
Starting point is 00:46:31 Oh, it is? I don't know, man. I just saying, I thought it was the same thing. It's the Heaven Project. I... Mike, leave that up. Let me read that.
Starting point is 00:46:43 Oh, well, there it is. Lazarus can refer to multiple things. Most notably, a figure from New Testament who raised Jesus from the dead also cross-platform ID for... Blah, blah, blah, blah. Yeah, anyway, I think about the dead. Another Lazarus appears.
Starting point is 00:46:58 Nah, whatever. All right. Let's see what else we got here. Amy. Oh, let me do the... Oh, I have a five out of five show for people to watch. You have one? Yeah. Does it have Chad Michael Moray in? Oh, probably. No. No. It's actually a documentary. What is it?
Starting point is 00:47:13 It's called The Wild On Apple TV Plus, and it's these three guys, and they go and they're trying to save these endangered species. Six different places. There's a tiger, a bear, a rhino, a whale, and all these different places of the world. And they're trying to capture, like, first-ever footage of them to save the species. And it's so good. Really? Like I was so captivated. And there's short episodes, like 35 minutes. And you know it took them years to put this together.
Starting point is 00:47:37 And you give it five. I give it five out of five. I was so, I was like wanting more and just seeing what else happened. And they helped a lot of them. So that was cool to see. What? Platform? Apple was? Apple TV, yeah.
Starting point is 00:47:51 What's called? The wild ones. So if you like documentaries and like or not geo, anything of that nature, it's very much in that. Draft results. Lunchbox crushed it as we felt he would with testicular cancer. Good job, dude. We did terrible things that start with tea. That's so good.
Starting point is 00:48:05 Tornado, testicular cancer, and train derailment. I don't know the third one helped you a lot, but the first two were super strong. I mean, trade demureolements, it's pretty bad. It's a terrible thing. Yeah, it's like, we just saw chips in it, you know? You know, warehouse of train goes off. It sucks, but it's fine. Morgan with toothache tinnitus and tie-dye last.
Starting point is 00:48:24 Morgan, that was bad. Tie-dye. That was rough, yeah. I panicked. So Morgan's out. I'm back in next time we do it. So congratulations to lunchbox there. Good job, good job.
Starting point is 00:48:32 All right, let's see what else we got. Juggling is good for brain health. Who can juggle? I can juggle. I learned how to juggle on the golf course, though, doing maintenance. And what's so stupid about your juggling, like, you're always, well, the first time you did it was like, let me try this juggling thing. I do that bit all the time with people.
Starting point is 00:48:47 And then you nail it. Usually it's somebody juggling. Like, the whole bit is this. They're juggling a little bit, and they're kind of sloppy with it. I'm like, oh, you know how to juggle? Like, how do you do that? And they'll be like, well, take this. And so I do it, like what they're saying.
Starting point is 00:49:00 okay and so if I do this and then I oh my God I got it oh my God and they think they talked to me
Starting point is 00:49:07 for a slip second and then I start going like behind the back and stuff and I'm like okay it's very funny undervalued skill juggling
Starting point is 00:49:13 I still don't know how you do it that's a cool party trick very much people feel like it's only a party trick that and spinning the basketball
Starting point is 00:49:21 on your finger I can't do that research shows that juggling is a powerful brain booster according to a neuroscience
Starting point is 00:49:27 juggling improves hand eye coordination reaction reaction time posture and motor precision It enhances cognitive function of balance and older adults. I don't know if Papal is going to learn juggling, though.
Starting point is 00:49:36 Juggling is hard. Now scientists are exploring its potential for treating movement disorders like cerebellar ataxia. I don't know what that is, but New York Post with that story. Amy, over to you? What do you have over there? So have you seen Kim Kardashian's face wrap for skims? You know her brand Skims came out with this? I've not seen the rap.
Starting point is 00:49:56 I'm familiar with the brand. I have some skim's underwear. Oh, okay. I just didn't know. It was like all over social media, at least in my algorithm. By the way, skims underwear for dudes, eh. What are, like, what's so special about them? Well, you didn't like, you don't like them?
Starting point is 00:50:07 I mean, I don't know what they're like for guys, but I love, I have socks and I love them. Or like, um, like Spanx type things, like the compression. Is that what you have? Spanx type of things? No. They're normal, they make guy normal underwear and I bought them just try out, like a three pack. They're fine. I wouldn't spend the money on them.
Starting point is 00:50:24 Briefs? Boxer briefs? I don't wear briefs. I don't wear boxer briefs. Who wears just normal brief? I don't know, not me. Whitey tides anymore, like in that shape. They're like lunchboxes.
Starting point is 00:50:34 You wear whitey tithy's new? Yeah, I think he wears boxers. He's like a straight boxer. Oh, like Simpson's boxer. The problem with the boxers are they always get caught in my pants, like the bottom of it. And you always see like the line. Yeah. All right, tell me your story.
Starting point is 00:50:46 Well, so she launched these and they are already sold out. And also in my algorithm now is a bunch of plastic surgeons that are talking about how you can put this thing on your face every night. be one to, but it's not going to do anything at all. So she just like made a killing off of these compression things. But I have bought these things on Amazon that are disposable that kind of do that. And it does give you like a temporary jaw sculpting situation. But that's what the doctors are saying. It's just that. It's temporary. Like for 15 minutes, you might look a little bit more snatched, as they say. It looks like silence of the lambs. You wrap it on your face. So speaking of him, what's that guy's name? Animal. Lector. Lamb. But his in real life. Anthony Hopkins.
Starting point is 00:51:29 Anthony Hopkins, he did a funny video with the Skim's wrap. He put it on and he was like, hello, Kim. I don't know why this is my, you know how sometimes we talk about what's your algorithm right now. My algorithm is this. And so Anthony Hopkins showed up and he did a whole parody thing with the Skims face lifter thing. Theory is they really don't put a lot out at first and they sell out so they can say they sold out, which then makes the news they sold out. They do this with shoes a lot too. So I don't think they had like a normal release. I think there's probably amid the low. I'm sure a lot of people. I'm sure a lot of people want to buy it based on that it's Kardashian affiliated and skims is a good brand. But I would imagine you get more press and people buy more if
Starting point is 00:52:11 you're sold out for a little bit because this is common with digital products too. Yeah. And I think that the whole part of the story too is that if you're buying that and then thinking, okay, this is going to help you look like Kim. Sure, she might be doing this as part of her routine, but she has like... Does anybody think that anymore? Like, I'm going to buy something and look like Kim. I don't know. Well, I don't know. Like, oh, if I do this, then it's going to get me this, but like Kim's leaving out the laundry list of other things that she does. Or maybe she's not leaving it out, but if you're not choosing to think about all the access she has to make her face do
Starting point is 00:52:44 certain things, so just keep that in mind. And also, if you want to give it a go, because they are sold out, they do have disposable ones on Amazon that are like from Korea that I bought before. They're at least fun, you know? Girls night. Yeah, I was going to say fun doesn't really come to mind with me. Sometimes it's like self-care pampering. Like it's fun to do all the little treatments and masks and stuff. So I'm not anti it.
Starting point is 00:53:07 I'm just letting you know what I've, what's all my feed. Lunchbox. Man, I'm here to stick up for Miss Escalera on TikTok. She's a hottie cop from Houston, Texas. And she posted a TikTok and she said, didn't get cracked last night. So everyone is getting a ticket. Like being funny. Like, okay, she didn't have any.
Starting point is 00:53:25 hook up last night so she's mad and now she's being investigated by internal affairs. Well, I think she probably has to be, even that they don't take it seriously. You can't say that and then have somebody not, because one complaint you have to investigate. So will she get in trouble? Probably not. If she's not a bad cop.
Starting point is 00:53:42 She's a hot cop. Also, to me, if she's just going on didn't get cracked last night, I never heard the term cracked. Is that like banged or after whatever? I never heard that either, but I was like, that's a new one. Yeah, it's a new one. Getting cracked. Yeah, she's good looking We've heard, yeah. You may that clear. So let me get the straight. She is attractive.
Starting point is 00:53:58 She is attractive. And yeah, she put it on TikTok. It went viral. And now she's being investigated by internal affairs. If she puts that up on one person complains, they have to investigate her. So I don't even think they're investing at her going, we're going to show her. But if somebody complains, they have to investigate the complaint.
Starting point is 00:54:14 Does that make sense? Well, like, why would people complain? They obviously know it's a joke. People are such idiots. Like I said, I don't understand. We do the bit. L loser gets deported. A hundred people. Complaining. Why? Are people so, like, why do people not know how to joke anymore? It's like, goodness.
Starting point is 00:54:29 How fun would these people be to handle with? People still know how to joke. Do they? Because this is obvious. But the people that don't know how to joke that never knew how to joke, they're the ones complaining. I mean, do we really think this woman is going to go write everybody a ticket because she didn't get cracked last night? No. Cracked.
Starting point is 00:54:42 Now he's saying it. And he said it's so normal. Eddie, what do you have? So I want to ask you if you saw Weezer come out with Olivia Rodriguez. It was awesome. It was awesome. So Olivia Rodriguez does a thing where she brings out nostalgia acts all the time. I'm big Libby Rodriguez fan.
Starting point is 00:54:57 I like her vibe. Like, she's, like, kind of punk rock as a pop star. Like, that's her thing. Even her music, like some of it is. And it's very much guitar-based. It's believable, too, when she brings out these artists, that she's fans of them. She had Robert Smith in The Cure. That was super cool when she did that.
Starting point is 00:55:14 That's his name, Robert Smith, the singer? I believe so. That just came out. I don't know his name, but that's cool. Yeah, they did just like heaven. Yeah. It's awesome, dude. It's fantastic.
Starting point is 00:55:23 And so she brought out Weezer, and that, They did Buddy Holly and they went back and forth. And River started it. And they were off a little bit at first. I don't know if you saw it, but they missed like the first word or whatever. And then, you know, River's like, what's. And then she sings, and I know you're mine. It was awesome.
Starting point is 00:55:39 Yeah, it's super cool. Yeah, I watched a lot of Lollapalooza just over the weekend. Just kind of just going back and forth and seeing, I saw it. It was cool to see, like, girls, like, more in festivals and music festivals being like the stars. Because usually these music festivals, like, you're not used to seeing, like, a lot of girls in a row. And Gracie Abrams was awesome. There was, like, Olivia Rodriguez. Sabrina Carpenter was awesome.
Starting point is 00:56:04 And then there's another rapper girl that was really good. But it was cool to see. Like, every time I went back, they were showing, like, a female singer. And I'm like, they're killing it on stage. She even came out at the role model show. She was to Sally. Did you see that? You kids don't know what us kids are doing in real life.
Starting point is 00:56:20 Oh, dude. I mean, I probably know what you're talking about. Yeah, probably. You know what I'm saying. Say Sabrina Carpenter. Sabrina Carpenter. What I say? He is saying it probably right.
Starting point is 00:56:33 Sabrina Carpenter. That's weird. Any good catch, that's weird. Amity a good catch? That's weird. Are you supposed to say Carpenter? What do you call the band? Those two people. Husband and a wife.
Starting point is 00:56:44 Sunny and Cher? No, the. What are we talking about right now? Artists. Okay. Oh my gosh. Even lunchboxy understands where I'm going with this. You guys know what he's trying to.
Starting point is 00:56:54 The car. You know the... Oh, the carpenters. You don't call them that. What was Jesus? He was a carpenter. So you would say... I don't know of any other way to say it.
Starting point is 00:57:05 You don't say carpenter? Nah. You're right. You are saying it right. Carpenter. It's more of a der than a ter. Really? But you're saying it right is the thing.
Starting point is 00:57:14 Yeah, you probably... I mean, I say all kinds of things wrong, so... I would say the carpenters. Carpenters. Yeah. Oh, that's weird. But that's wrong. but that's how I would say it.
Starting point is 00:57:24 But I wonder how Sabrina Carpenter says it. Does she say, hi. You said Carpenter right then. See? I'm picking up Eddie. Okay. Like, does she say Sabrina? Hey, did you get crack last night?
Starting point is 00:57:34 Is that why you're... I'm scared. It's just another term. I'm just using another term. I know. Cracked. It isn't that a good term, though? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:57:44 It's kind of cool. It is kind of cool. I would never say it, but it's kind of cool. Ever, yeah. I mean, I mean, I'm going to ask my wife. Unless you want to. I am Sabrina Carpenter and this one. Oh,
Starting point is 00:57:52 Hold on, no, no, hold on. Say it again. She did it. I'm Sabrina Carpenter. She does say to her. Yeah, you say it right. Serena Carpenter. I'm a fan.
Starting point is 00:58:00 Sabrina Carpenter. And the Carpenters. You and J.C., Carpenter. Can you name any Carpenter songs? I was just singing one. I know I've just begun. Okay, well, what's the one with the, the, the, j-do birds suddenly appear. Every time
Starting point is 00:58:22 You are near Just like me They long to be Close to you Do you know that one? Yeah but I feel like I know it from that The other one you're singing
Starting point is 00:58:34 Was a carpenter song What were we singing? I know we've just begun Maybe we have let me Let me get my assistant up You could be I don't know I just looked Oh yeah ask him
Starting point is 00:58:46 We've only just begun We've only just begun Yeah right I don't know what that is though That feels like a Carpenters song. It is by, yeah, it's Carpenters. What's the name of the song? We've only just begun.
Starting point is 00:58:58 Hey. It's by the Carpenters and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Oh, wow, the whole orchestra. We've only just begun. Yeah, good job. What else you got on the Carpenters? Let me just look. I was going to go on my, okay, I have, they long to be.
Starting point is 00:59:14 Is Sabrina Carpenter related to? Carpenter, she related to the Carpenters? Yesterday once more has 179 million Streams Yeah, I don't know Okay They definitely have a sound Did the guy ever sing
Starting point is 00:59:41 Or is it just back up Top of the world Dang that almost sounds country With that steel guitar type thing Oh yeah that's a good one I don't know it but I know it Like I've heard it You know what let's do it a lot in our house is Abba
Starting point is 01:00:01 My wife loves Abba That was good man We've only just Got it is. Rainy days and Mondays? We try that one. Rainy days and Mondays get you down. Is that it?
Starting point is 01:00:14 Yeah. Okay. Who was that pro rapper I saw, dude, that was so good. Dochi? Dochi. Dude, she was awesome. I'll watch some of her set, too. Like, so good.
Starting point is 01:00:23 Yeah. Hey, you got a Lala. We should go to Lala one year. I'm not a big music festival guy anymore. Too many people. What have we got, like, a pass, though? Like, you got to, like, stand side stage. With no people?
Starting point is 01:00:33 You just have to go through people instead of the park. Okay. Yeah. You got to do all that. Yeah, we have a job that makes it not so cool because we're always exposed to the cool. So it's like you weigh what you're already exposed to, what you get easy access to versus having to go and deal with traffic and park. I thought it was kind of weird that I enjoyed watching a show on TV, which I guess I've done that like my whole life with Pearl Jam and all that stuff. But like the fact that I just sat there and watched a music festival on TV is kind of like after a while.
Starting point is 01:00:59 Like what am I doing? What channel? Who is? Oh, that's what you said? Oh, I watched it all online. I wish I got high. I think I'd like to get high and watch music. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:01:09 Yeah, I wonder what that's like. I've never done that. Or like listen to music. Like in the 70s. They'd put on Pink Floyd and just get high. Yeah. Because you don't have to do anything. You don't spend any money.
Starting point is 01:01:17 That's what I think about. You don't have to spend money. You don't have to spend money. Yeah, you have just been money on. I feel like product. I feel like if I had like a drug thing, I'd have like hookups. No, no, they don't give it to you. They don't know that.
Starting point is 01:01:30 Like, so you're the dealer? Like that may be the one thing where that they don't give to you. Like you would be the. I thought I felt like I'd have a couple hookups. These are to be an influencer for it. Grower. Yeah. I feel like that's the one where they're always like, hey dude, where's my 20 bucks?
Starting point is 01:01:43 You thought that was free? I got 20. Yeah, that's fine. Okay, I'll do a couple more things. Morgan, do your story. Okay, so singles are using dating apps, mostly the ladies, to find men to do their home projects. DIYs? Yeah, like their first or second date, they'll bring them over, have them build a cabinet, have them hang a shelf, put a TV.
Starting point is 01:02:02 That's so mean. As a test or to actually get it done? To get it done, and it's like, are you boyfriend material? Can you do the project? It's like an audition? If it's a test, it's funny. If it's for like practical reasons, like if you're a pragmatic approach to getting stuff fixed, is getting on a nap and getting a dude to do it by saying you're going to maybe crack them,
Starting point is 01:02:20 that feels dishonest. In the, it must be in the first like round of communication. Like, do you drop like, so? Are you handy? They're putting it on their dating profiles to be like, I'm looking for a handyman. I didn't help hanging my shelf. and guys will either do it or they won't. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 01:02:37 Hang in your shelf? Hey, is hanging the shelf like getting cracked? Right, right. That's what I thought. Like nobody came and hung my shelf last night, so I think I'm going to write tickets. Unless you want your shelf to be hung. As far as I know, it is not a connotation for something else.
Starting point is 01:02:54 Yeah, I don't think so. They're probably using dudes. Okay, it's like the women who would go on dates just to eat for free. Without the idea they would turn that relationship into something more. was only to eat for free and trick the guy. If they're tricking the guy and to build and stuff, I don't like it. It's still kind of funny, but I don't like it. If they're using that as a way to, hey, I think I might like you and I want to get this done,
Starting point is 01:03:14 but I'm also using it as kind of an audition to see if you're handy. I'm totally in for it. Whatever it takes to get to where you know a little more in that relationship. Yeah, build a whole cabinet though for them? That's a lot. The only time you'll do it's early. Because once you get married and once you're in, you're like, you know what? Well, those guys, maybe they have in their profile that they're a carpenter.
Starting point is 01:03:33 Hey, carpenter. Maybe they're a carpenter and they want to get cracked. They're just doing it. All right. I'll end with this. Michael Jackson's dirty stage sock sells for nearly $9,000 at a French auction. His dirty what? Stage sock.
Starting point is 01:03:47 Are they the glittery ones though? Because those are cool. That's probably like all of his stage socks. I probably had a little something to them, right? Because if they're just haines? Well, this one is a dirty white sock. But it doesn't say if it's just straight white or had a little glitter. I would just think his outfits would have something.
Starting point is 01:04:03 to it. Yeah, yeah. But it says a dirty white sock once worn by the King of Pop. Ooh, it looks disgusting. It looks... Yellowish? Yeah, it's brown. Brown is yellow. And I don't see any glitter. It's the first time I see the picture of it. I feel like he always had like glittery socks. Bro, that looks gross.
Starting point is 01:04:19 I'm surprised I only sold for $9,000. But it does say the rhinestone covered sock, but I don't see any rhinestones. Yeah, it looks like they've all been taken off of it. Or falling off in time. Oh, maybe they... Mike, look in there deep. Yeah, it's kind of like... There's a few in there. Deteriated.
Starting point is 01:04:34 I mean, he only died like... I don't think the rhinestone's deteriorated as much as the... Whatever the product is that is gluing them as probably deteriorating. And they've fallen off. But there's a few on there. Dang, $9,000. Footage shows and performing Billy Jean in the socks.
Starting point is 01:04:54 But just a stage show. In 2023, a buyer paid over $80,000 for a fedora, Michael Jackson War. That's cool. For that same performance. Michael Jackson died in 2009 at age 50 from a fatal drug overdose, New York Post. Okay, there you go. All right.
Starting point is 01:05:09 That's it for the day. We'll give you another day tomorrow. If you guys are part twoers, we appreciate that. If you got to this part of the podcast, part two of the podcast, send me a DM, Mr. Bobby Bones. I'd be curious to know if you got to this part of the podcast. All right, that's it. Amy has a new episode up today of Feeling Things. What are you guys doing?
Starting point is 01:05:26 Feeling Things is Amy and Kat. We talk about craving change. We know the name of it. You're good. Maybe someone else doesn't. He literally just said it. Like literally just said it before you did Yeah, but it's like remembering a name though, you know, when you were
Starting point is 01:05:36 But she doesn't need to remember it as her show. Yeah, say it three times. I can't beetle juice, go ahead. It's about, well, one of the things we touch on is craving change, even when life is fine, because for me I just sometimes will chase chaos because it's like a dopamine hit for me. And it's like life is fine, like find dopamine elsewhere. That's what I need.
Starting point is 01:05:56 I need a little dope and little music. No, dopamine. Dopamine. Dopamine. That's free. inside of you. You just got to create it. Why did everything feel dirty with him?
Starting point is 01:06:07 I don't know. Like everything feels like that. That was not dirty. There is an episode of the Bobbycast, the new one up today with Matt and Scott, the brothers from Parmali, and we really get into the time that they were in their RV and the guys came into rob it
Starting point is 01:06:21 and they had a gunfight in the RV and Scott, the drummer was in the hospital, almost died. It got way more in depth than I'd even plan to get into it. It was great. Then we talked about his PTSD after, but if you want to hear a really compelling story, One, those guys have really grinded, and they've made it.
Starting point is 01:06:35 They have like five number ones. I think five number ones. But how they came up, they were a cover band. Like most were, but that was their thing. They were going to make money playing cover songs forever. That's what Sugar Ray was. They were a cover band. Really?
Starting point is 01:06:47 Mm-hmm. I saw a cool video on TikTok where Mark McGrath. Mark McGrath. Mark McGrath. Mark McGrathita, as you'd say, Mark McGrath. He was driving down the road and somebody was playing every morning, I think. He goes, oh, there it is. He's jamming to my song.
Starting point is 01:07:02 That's good. Yeah, check it out. We talk about that. So that's up today. Have a great rest of the day. We'll see you guys tomorrow. Bye, everybody. A win is a win.
