I'm going to go over to Sandy Kate, who lives in Florida.
Hello, Sandy Kate.
Hello, Bobby.
And hello everybody there.
What's happening?
You're on the show.
Yes, finally.
It's been years I've been trying to get on.
Well, let it rip there, Sandy Kate.
What do you got to say?
Okay.
My family took, we went on this train, expensive dinner train trip up in Upper New Hampshire.
And as we were.
cutting through our first course, which was a salad. My sister is cutting her salad and she stops and
she kind of makes a yinking sound. And I said, what's the matter? It was a half a mouse in her salad.
How old. Which half? Yeah, which half. Head or butt? It was the butt half. Are you sure it was a
mouse? Are you sure it was a mouse? Oh, man, yes. We, you know, and we kick our butts to this day for not taking a
picture. We're taking pictures of every course and we needn't take a freaking picture of that mouse.
What happens when you say you got the...
But my family knew about it.
Yeah, what happens when you go to the people and say, hey, we got the mouse on our salad?
Yeah, we showed it to her.
She said, hey, this isn't her salad.
I said, you know, who knows where the other half is?
You know, there's like 50 people on the train.
Well, she kind of kept it really low.
And she said, oh, let me go get somebody.
And they came and they took the mouse away.
And they said, well, we'll take care of.
it and we'll tell the chef so we finish our dinner and my sister of course didn't eat her
solid.
Of course.
And afterwards, they never offered to refund her money.
And when we asked, when we were leaving the train, what happened?
You know, did you tell the chef?
And they acted like it never even happened.
If you didn't take a picture of it, that's probably the best.
If you're that train and no way took a picture, you get rid of the body.
It's like a court case.
You don't have a body.
You really don't have a case.
face. And you just act like these women are crazy.
Yeah.
You see those crazy ladies in 4F?
They're trying to say there's a mouse in her salad.
Yeah, that sucks.
And I think the lesson everybody learns here is as soon as something weird happens,
take a picture of it.
That's very unfortunate.
That is disgusting.
Anything you want to say about that?
I don't think I said at all.
Just thinking right now I'm gagging.
Like, I don't know how you don't make a bigger deal out of it.
Where's the other half?
Like, yes, to their point, does somebody else have the head of the mouse?
And then was there blood?
Yeah.
Yeah. Like where's the inside of the mouse?
I'd like to say where I think it happened is probably in the preparation of the salad, which probably wasn't even on the train.
It was probably a company.
There's animals.
They probably got chopped.
There were no guts or anything like that.
Yeah.
Sandy Kate, I appreciate that story.
Is the lesson that you learned take a picture of everything now?
Yes, yes.
One of their explanations was that everything that's fed on the train or food was taken.
from that area.
It was all grown there.
They said the greens were grabbed up from the, you know, the fields.
Local mouse.
Yeah, local mouse for sure.
Sandy Kate, I appreciate that.
I hope you have a great day.
I do want to go to Charlie in Northern Virginia.
Hey, Charlie, you're on the show.
What's up, buddy?
What's up, Bobby?
Morning studio.
Morning.
Guys, I was listening to the pod yesterday.
I'm an EML listener, but I've listened to you guys forever,
but I was dying laughing yesterday at the,
testicle a bit, and I know it's not a bit. I know we got some issues going on.
He has a swollen testicle, Charlie. His left testicle is so much bigger than his right
testicle. Dude, I'm just saying, if that was me, how could you not go to the hospital
lunch, like right away? I mean, I know like a broken finger, it'll heal up, stop my toe,
whatever, dude, but that is your testicle. That's a testicle. Yeah. Can I said it better myself.
That is your testicle. Yeah, it is. Well, in your thought, Charlie, so is that what you want
to add? He needs to go to the doctor?
Dude, no, Kyler's a stat guy, right?
We all know that.
Yeah.
But yesterday, you guys dropped more testes than a high school gym class.
Yes, sir, yes, sir.
How many?
Testicle or a variation of the word testicle was said 30 times.
30.
30 dying, laughing every time.
Clinical, it's the clinical word.
It's hilarious, guys.
How old are you?
No.
No, it wasn't funny.
It's not funny.
It's medical, man.
Medical?
So it was not done for comedy reasons.
So Charlie, it was not done for comedy reasons.
It was medical, okay, buddy?
I'm praying for your testicle lunch.
You got to go get a check down.
my guy, you got you. Thank you, man. You hit you with a my guy.
Yeah.
Charlie, appreciate that call, man. Have a great day.
All right. See you later. Let's go to Jesse in Indiana, who's on the phone.
Jesse, you're on the Bobby Bone Show. What's going on?
Hi, good morning, Bobby. Good morning, studio.
Morning.
So this is a dream to talk to you guys. But I wanted to let you know. My five-year-old son
comes home from pre-k yesterday with a gift from his teachers. I give the kids,
It's like a book, usually a Christmas book every year.
And it's usually like a $2 kind of corny Christmas book.
This year they gave Bobby, they gave your Stanley the dog, first day of school book to every pre-K kid in his class.
That is awesome.
I think I was more excited.
I think I was more excited than he was.
We're a big fan.
Oh, thanks.
And we read it last night at bed.
and all I have to say is your very coolio, Drulio, Bobby.
Yeah, thank you very much.
That's really exciting to me that a school decided.
I wrote a kid's book, which will make a lot more sense after my wife has a kid.
But after we have a kid, but after she delivered.
You're right, right, right.
But I wrote a kid's book, and it did really well thanks to our listeners,
and it's called Stanley the Dog and his first day at school.
And that's really cool.
I really appreciate you calling and waiting to tell me that story.
It makes me feel good.
Thank you, Jesse.
Yeah, of course.
Are you going to get a sequel to Stanley?
Maybe when Stanley meets the baby?
You know, I thought about, this is just a thought and I have not started on it.
But the idea is we have two dogs, we have Stanley, and then we adopted Eller.
We found Eller, adopted her.
And it's about how brother and sisters can be brother and sister without having to actually be, you know, blood, brother and sister,
which could go step siblings, adopted kids.
Like that same meaning could be used without me having to like differentiate what the difference is.
like this is your family.
Yeah.
Even how you're born into it, all families are different.
All families have love.
I've thought about, I've toyed with writing that version of it.
Like Stanley gets a sister.
And Stanley's sister doesn't come.
Well, I guess a dog.
But you know what I mean.
Yeah, yeah.
So, I mean, I've kind of outlined to that, but I haven't really gone into production with it or anything.
But I appreciate that.
I do think that book would do really well.
Yeah.
I think that would help kids.
Yeah, understand.
I'd read it to my daughter.
Yeah. She's 18, but she loves to say her brothers. All families are different. Not all families are full blood. And you can still be family without being full blood.
Yeah. And so I think her, like you explaining it with your dogs would help her understand that her little brother, even though they don't have the same parents, is still her brother.
Even that book that I wrote wasn't really about dogs. It was like kids fitting in. Exactly. And you don't have to fit in to actually fit in. So, yeah, Jesse, I appreciate that. Thank you very much for bringing that up.
Yeah, of course. Baker's in. Yeah, you too.
Thank you. Merry Christmas to you.
That book.
I'm not selling it or anything, but it's on Amazon if anybody wants it.
I think I make half a cent every hundred books or something.
Oh, really?
I don't know.
I literally don't know what that is.
You guys can call us 877-77 Bobby.
Tuesday Reviews Day.
Let's start with that.
I did watch the second knives out.
I've seen the first one I liked it.
The third one came out.
And so we're going to watch a third one.
We're like, I think there's a second one.
So let me watch a second one.
It's fine.
It wasn't that good.
Was it the glass onion?
Yeah, the glass onion.
Is that it?
Okay, okay.
Yeah, did you watch it?
A long time ago, like when it came out.
Yeah.
It wasn't very good.
Wow back.
I thought it was fine.
Yeah.
Three and a half.
Because the first knife's out is really good.
Yeah.
We started the third one already, so I'm not going to review it.
But it feels like it moves better than the second one.
Did you watch them all, Mike?
I haven't seen the third one yet.
Like the second one?
I like the second one.
It's on the island, right?
Yeah, glass onion.
Yeah.
So, there you go.
I watched that.
I don't know.
That's my final one that I didn't do.
Anything from you?
I watched The Reckoning.
I don't know what that is.
The Sean Combs documentary.
Oh, yeah.
You watch that?
Mm-hmm.
Yeah, I watched it's four episodes.
Do you think we knew what that was if you just say The Reckoning?
Well, I just feel like so many people are watching it.
Well, like my friends and I've talked about,
we're like, oh, the reckoning, oh my gosh.
But yeah, it's Sean Combs documentary put on by 50 cent.
It's confusing because when you first,
First see the footage you've got footage from Sean Combs from Puff Daddy.
Like his footage from like in his hotel room six days before his arrest, you're like,
wait a second, is this his own documentary and he's trying to put it out and make himself
look better?
It is not.
I don't know exactly how he said got the footage, but word on the street is.
I know how I got it.
Oh, you do?
Yeah.
They said it.
Oh, they did wear.
I missed that part.
People didn't pay their bill.
They didn't pay them, yeah.
So they're like fine.
You can have it.
The street?
I literally saw like a news clip about it.
Who didn't pay who?
Diddy didn't pay the production crew.
Because that's what I learned in this documentary, other than that he's a total, like, might be one of the worst humans ever, he definitely does not like to pay people.
And it's a control thing.
It likes to just keep them on the hook.
And then, because then once they have the payment and the money, he loses some of his power.
He's just not a great.
Bad, bad, bad, bad, bad.
What did you think?
And I have watched other documentaries about him.
I thought this one was.
Really well done.
I do worry about when Diddy gets out.
If he's watched this and knows who's talking,
like, is he going to find a way to retaliate?
I don't know.
Because his co-founder of Bad Boy Records, like, really gave it all.
Like, he was 25% owner of the company, founded it with him,
then ended up getting fired after he didn't want to do some shady stuff after Biggie died.
And he's like, I'm not doing that.
That is so disrespectful to Biggie and his family.
And puppy was like, okay, you're fired.
And he is in the documentary sharing a lot.
And he seems like a really nice guy.
And you want to believe everything he's saying, obviously, I have no idea.
But he spills it all to where I could see.
If Diddy wanted to get out of jail and retaliate, he could.
What do you write it?
Five. Five out of five.
You give more perfect scores.
Okay.
Well, for what it is.
For being an informative documentary about Diddy and all the different interviews they landed of people that are finally willing to talk.
They even had some jurors.
That was interesting to me because I'm like, how could y'all let him off on some of that?
Like, you're crazy.
Well, because he's a bad person doesn't mean he is guilty by the law on all those counts.
They were fair and unbiased is what you're saying.
I don't think they were unbiased.
I think he manipulated them.
I think that they were, he's a master manipulator.
He is textbook master manipulator.
But did he talk to them?
Well, through avenues of other people, word on the street is.
Word on the street.
They were paying certain influencers and these jurors would go home at night.
They had access to media, access to TikTok.
They would watch certain things and then be influenced that way.
Did you guys out there get your phone?
No.
No.
That's supposed to?
Never.
I like it.
But there's some bugs still.
I like it.
What are the pros?
Like, what do you like about it?
I don't know.
Looks cool.
It's a little faster.
Yeah, but then like my typing, listen, I'm Mr. Typo.
No doubt about it.
I'm like bad, bad at typos now.
Same, dude.
Made them a little bit smaller.
Is that what it is?
Like I'm all slapping thumbs over here.
It just ain't working.
I was talking with one of our...
I'll just say somebody that works here,
older than us.
And I was like, hey, HMU.
And he was like, what's HMU mean?
Hit me up.
Yeah.
I thought that's not even a new one.
I thought everybody knew HMU.
I just figured it out.
I didn't know.
I never heard it.
I had no idea.
In my head, I was like, hug me up.
Oh, interesting.
Maybe I'm being a little judgmental then,
so maybe that isn't known.
I'd never heard it.
I had not ever heard it.
No, I'm serious.
I can't use you two as the barometer
though.
Why?
We're pretty...
Never heard of it.
Yeah, we're pretty...
Morgan?
Yeah, everybody uses that.
Okay, not everybody.
It's been around for a long time.
You sound like my 17-year-old.
Everybody does that dead.
Okay, well, everybody below 35.
I felt like HMU's pretty ubiquitous in text.
Like, FYI, seeing that one before.
I haven't been around for a long time.
I would be like hair and makeup.
Interesting.
After hug me up.
Because HMU does stand for hair and makeup.
I can be wrong.
Okay.
You gave it five out of four.
five. Well, I mean, for what it is. I get that you don't like my grading scale. Well, everything you
give it for what it is. Yeah, because I feel like everything has their own category.
We're not judging you. I'm just like, wow, five out of five. That's perfect. That's perfect. That's
that's for us. That's Josh Shankarmson. That means. That means. I mean, 50 cent did a great job.
No, and I don't have an, I don't have a desire to. Bobby, I'm shocked. You don't want to watch
the reckoning. I thought, stop calling the reckoning. I don't know why that's so annoying.
I know. But it's like, you expected us to know what that is. She's like, I was like, I
Watch The Reckoning and we're like, it's like the number one show on Netflix.
Everyone says the Diddy Documentary.
No, because it's not to be confused with other Diddy Documentaries.
This one is The Reckoning.
Well, you should have said, The Reckoning.
The Dittany documentary.
Okay, whatever's called.
Sean Combs, The Reckoning.
You're right in all this.
No, no.
What's the official title of it, Mike?
Sean Combs, the Reckoning.
You're not even right there.
Oh, my goodness.
I was saying, we're probably wrong.
Okay, Sean Combs, the Reckoning.
Like, I feel like you know how sometimes we assign homework.
Like, you should watch it.
It's crazy.
Okay, have you watched the alien documentary I paid for you to
watch? I have it right here. No, that's a question. Have you watched it? Have it pulled up on my computer
ready and waiting for me to watch? What is the reckoning have to do with the documentary? See, I literally
have it ready. I can't wait to click play. It's probably his reckoning. His time has come.
Yeah. Because he has been getting away with this for years and years. And the fact, this just goes to
show like how much power and money and how people were terrified of him and what he would do. He's
responsible for a lot of
violence and deaths
and somehow he's just
In my opinion
retaliation
In my opinion
I'm HO
What?
In my opinion
He is
How can he be connected to so many bad things
And then always be like
I had nothing to do with it
I know that I know that he got shot there
I know that person got beat up there
I know they got I know they died
I know it was right there but I had nothing to do with it
Like I forgot about the time that Tupac got shot
at his recording studio when Tupac was on his way
to record with one of Diddy artists.
And then that was the...
Didn't die. He didn't die.
He didn't die. Got shot five times. Didn't die.
Five times.
Yes. And then later, when Tupac was asked,
do you think Diddy had anything to do with it?
Tupac was like, yeah, I do.
So we did.
The reckoning.
The reckoning.
Lunchbox, anything?
No, no.
Okay. Morgan, anything?
Yeah, I watched Jingle Bell heist on Netflix.
It's a New Christmas movie?
No.
That's the Jonas Christmas.
Okay.
Yeah, no, it's about these two strangers and they end up doing a heist together,
so really on brand for what's been happening in the world.
And it's Christmas themed.
It was really good.
It's very indie-type Christmas movie, I would say.
I'd give it 3.5 out of five presents.
Okay.
Eddie.
A very Jonas Christmas.
Ah, dude, it's awesome.
I did not want to watch this movie.
Like, I saw it, and I'm like, I guess that'd be kind of cool to watch.
I'm not a Jonas Brothers fan.
Like, I don't know their music.
I know a couple of their songs.
Dude, I watch this thing.
I'm like, this is a solid Christmas movie.
Why?
What made it solid?
Oh, it's just got everything.
Like, they're trying to get home for Christmas and they can't do it.
Everything's going wrong.
Their plane blows up.
Their train breaks down.
They can't get tickets out of whatever.
Like, everything wrong happens.
And then their brothers, they're always fighting.
A lot happens, you know, when they're stuck.
I'll just say, I'll leave it there.
Okay, thanks.
Are there other celebrity cameos?
Yes.
That's why I'm going to give it.
have four Will Ferrell's.
Oh, but we're not saying who is in it.
Will Ferrell starts with it. It's like starts
with Will Ferrell. We're not going to say who's in it.
Will Ferrell. Oh, okay. Well, then you do.
He's in it. Okay.
Ray, did you watch anything?
Throwbacks. What you got?
We did Home Alone. We did Home Alone to New York.
We did Christmas vacation. We did Santa Claus.
Oh, you guys are in, huh? Lindsay Lohan's Christmas. Yeah, we knocked out like five
last weekend. It's my wife's thing, not mine.
But Lindsay Lohan's, look up the title.
It's definitely a top fiver and it's a new one.
All right.
Thank you very much.
Yeah.
Looks like you watched all those again more than the first time.
Yeah, those are our favorites.
Last year, 31-year-old Dave Goodings made the mistake of ordering a 20-foot inflatable Santa
instead of the four-foot one he was expecting.
He put it up anyway.
And this year, he complimented it with a 20-foot inflatable snowman sidekick.
So with that, the stage was set until an anonymous letter showed up at his
mailbox complaining of his tacky decoration. In response, they decided to purchase a 16.5 foot
Grinch that they added to the display. Oh, double down. I love that. They're not committing a crime.
And if it's not an HOA violation, why are you complaining? Your complaint does nothing,
except make me want to get a Grinch at 16.5 feet. That's from my London. Yeah, shout out to that guy.
You want to hear a bad story. You're in the mood or no? You want the bad one now or you want it later?
No, we can take it now. Oh, that reminds me of what you were talking about. You can.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Okay, from KTVU in New Hampshire, a six-year-old girl had to be hospitalized after testing positive for cannabis and cocaine.
According to the police department, the girl's mother allegedly told a witness not to cooperate with police.
On Monday, the mother was arrested on a warrant for witness tampering.
This charge was added to another of endangering the welfare of a child.
So this kid wasn't doing drugs.
The kid accidentally got something that was just around the house that was extremely easy to access a gummy or something.
And now the kid almost died because the parent doesn't give a crap.
Crazy, huh?
Yeah, that's terrible.
And then it just starts the system, though, of you take parents away from a kid.
And now the kid, I don't know what the situation is like.
Yeah, the kid may get put somewhere.
Yeah.
Terrible.
I saw, like, something on TikTok where a foster mom was putting the kid in the, like, a dog crate.
Oh, gosh.
So, like, to your point, like, who knows where they're going to go now?
Yeah.
I have trouble putting my dogs in a crate.
And crate training is something that vets and animal behavior specialists recommend.
Yeah, they say like it's absolutely what we should be doing.
So we do have crates now, but I just can't shut the doors on them.
Really?
They just go in there.
And they love it.
They go in there.
I'm telling you, they go in there like, I go on my bedroom.
Like if I'm like, I just need a minute.
And I just go on my bedroom and just sit or we have a big chair in there or I take off all my clothes and get on the bed because I can't do street clothes on the bed.
They go in the crate like that.
And I know they like, they go, just chill, they go on the crate.
But I can't, I can't shut the doors on them.
And that's recommended and I feel bad.
But you put a human in there, a kid human?
Yeah, that's crazy, dude.
You want to do the thing about your kids?
Yeah, yeah.
So it was like a dinner topic.
Are you a bad news, give me the bad news first kind of person or give me the good news first?
Very much a bad news.
Sometimes just give me the bad news, don't even give me the good news.
But you got to get both.
No, but I'll just go, I'll only want the bad news.
why don't you want the good news?
That's a reward.
I hear you, but sometimes I don't even want the good news.
Like, just give me the bad news and just let me fight it.
Then I can just experience the good news wholly.
Oh.
Does that make sense?
Yeah, like you don't want it.
I don't want it damaged by the bad news if they don't have.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So I'm just like, just give me the bad news, no good news.
And they react like you did.
Wait, no, no, no, the good news is counter.
No.
That's the reward.
I only want the bad.
And I want to take it.
I want to digest it.
I want to fully understand the consequences for me, for whomever,
what's happening, come to terms with it.
And I'll hit you back for the good news
because I want to experience that independent
of itself.
Yeah, that's bizarre.
That's different.
I'm very much a bad news first.
Yeah, I guess I would go bad news first
and then give me the good news.
Quickly, right?
Yeah, like speed it up.
I need like a day in between.
But yeah, okay.
I mean, I would never think to separate it.
So yeah, maybe you're on to something.
I'd say bad news first so I can end with the good news.
So you can end on a positive.
Yeah.
Because he is very positive.
Oh, Mr. Positive.
It's sort of like how you eat food.
Like sometimes if you got a bunch of, like, you know you need to eat this like vegetable.
You eat that first and you eat the other part later.
Because we're kids again.
I understand that.
I have a whole, you know, Lucky Charms theory on life.
But I.
Oh, yeah, you do.
Yeah, but that's like work.
Like you work hard and get your spoils after.
That's not like bad news?
No.
It doesn't have to be.
I do understand how they could run parallel.
But why?
What did the kids say?
Well, they were all different, but most of them were, most of them were, yeah, a bad news first just so they can end on the good news.
But one of them was like, kind of like you, where it's like, yeah, just give me the bad news.
Is it the one that's kind of like me?
Yeah, the one that's kind of like you.
The one that's kind of like you.
The one that grew up very simple.
Yeah.
So interesting, right?
You could also be the opposite and just like, give me the good news.
No bad news, please.
Yeah.
Then you're avoiding the bad news.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That's it.
That was fun.
You talk with your kids about stuff like that?
Yeah, we talk.
Yeah.
Dinner time.
fun like that. Do all four of them come to dinner
ever, or is your oldest who's 17 does he check
out sometimes? He sometimes isn't home for dinner
but if he's home, we all eat. And my wife
really is like strong, I'm not, I'm like, let's all
watch the game, let's sit in front of the TV. My wife's like,
no, tonight we're going to sit at the dinner
table. So she enforces that? Yeah, and it's
a good idea because it does get us talking
about our days and whatever.
I can do a thing now and make the baby
kick on command. It's wild.
You say something?
I wonder what you say
Well, it's really a sound I make
But we've been in the kicking stage forever
Like
What is the sound?
I want to tell you yet
Why?
Because I'm like, is it like freaked out?
No, there's two things that I can do
That I for sure
And I told you when it kicks, you see it
It's almost like toes come out
It kicks harder
The whole stomach moves
Soccer player
And there's two things
I can do one, I'll tell you this one, for sure.
I can play counting crows on Caitlin's stomach, baby kicks.
Is it kick, though, turn that off?
Who knows? I love it.
Who knows? Don't know.
The other thing is a sound at a later date.
I'll be able to tell you that.
I just don't want you guys doing it around my wife,
and all of a sudden, babies kicking,
it's associated with me.
Okay, we're not going to take that for me.
I don't know, you never know about you guys.
What? But yeah, no, it's pretty crazy.
It's crazy.
The fact, we're aliens.
That's what I was going to tell you.
Doesn't it feel like there's an alien?
We're aliens. How we were built.
We're aliens.
Well, to someone else we are, right?
But we're a...
I mean, because it happens all the time every day,
it had to happen with every single one of us does not mean it is not bizarre.
But because it's so normalized...
Well, some people use the word miracle.
It is a miracle.
Is it a miracle?
I think miracles have a scarcity and a rarity to them.
I think you can't associate miracle with something that happens a million times a day.
To you, it's a miracle, though.
like it's unexplainable.
But that doesn't mean it's a miracle.
There are a lot of things that are unexplainable.
I don't know how television works.
I can't explain.
No, no, but someone does.
Yeah, and someone knows.
I'm telling, to me, and you can have your own opinion on this,
I don't put the word miracle on something that happens a million times today.
I don't think that's a miracle.
But you have never noticed how crazy this is until you've experienced.
I think crazy is a whole different thing.
Yeah.
I think you use the word bizarre.
Bizzar capital biz.
Bizz are.
And then you're going to start seeing things
where like, oh my gosh, I do that.
How is the baby doing that?
All in all that's going to be crazy.
I know I'm going to go through all that.
It's a miracle.
And to you, it can be because I can't control how you feel and think
and there's not a right or wrong answer.
But aside even from this,
I don't put the word miracle on something
that happens a million times a day.
I think a miracle is something that infrequently happens
and when it does happen once, people are blown away by it because of its infrequency.
Okay.
Like I cut my finger.
Yeah, like a tumor disappears.
I cut my finger on Thanksgiving and it looks like nothing ever happened.
That is a miracle.
That is crazy.
The knife went like all the way down past my nail.
Well, now I do you're not making sense.
No, it is.
So here's the definition of miracle.
And I may not even walk along the definition.
A miracle is a surprising and welcome event that is not explicable by natural or
scientific laws and is therefore considered to be the work of a divine agency. So no, I would say
according to this definition, childbirth is not a miracle, but that doesn't mean it's not beautiful.
It doesn't mean it's not dramatic, sensational. Any other words you want to add to it. But just because
science thinks it can explain it. Science does explain it. Science does explain it. They think they can.
But like just because science says like that's how it happens, it's also a highly improbable or
extraordinary event. So it's not improbable that people have babies. For some people it is. Yeah, but that's a
specific one person and it could be a miracle that someone that they say is not pregnant has a baby.
Holy crowd.
Yeah, like you'll never be able to get pregnant and then you do.
That's a miracle.
I would say that's more of the miracle vein.
But I think to me, it's only about the odds of it happening.
You guys notice I'm saying miracle?
No, you're still saying it weird.
We just don't want to stop.
But it's fine.
We all say weird stuff.
I was trying my best to go.
Miracle.
Do you guys do the stuff on TikTok where it's bird, bird, dog, dog, bird, dog, bird.
Do you guys do those?
That's all Caitlin and I do at night.
It's hard, man.
It's hard.
Expert level is really hard.
So what is it?
Oh, yeah, I got to talk to you, Grandma's and Grand Pauls.
I don't do it.
What is it?
So, I'll pull one up.
Mike, can I send you one?
Yeah.
Put it on the screen.
I'll just send you the one Caitlin sent.
Me last night.
You have to say the word on beat.
Well, this will never work.
We don't think we can get it?
I can't.
On the screen?
Oh, no, no.
Oh, no, yeah, I'll put it up on the screen.
But it'll go.
Bump, bump, bump, bump, bump, bump, bump, and on the screen, you'll see a picture of a frog.
It'll go frog dog frog frog frog frog dog frog frog frog you have to say it as it comes up right on it's tough
So we can do that one I sing you or you can pull them up on YouTube it doesn't matter
But we do them all the time they're fun
There's one last night the hardest one that one that I sent you because it's pull
It's a picture of a pull pill pill pill and peel as you peel something so it's like pull pull pull pull pull pull pull
That one's hard so maybe we do it on
How about level one on YouTube?
Okay Amy you want to do it?
Sure
We'll get it up just let me know when you
get it up we'll keep going until we're totally
rocking it yeah because that one that I sent you Mike is way hard
it's pull

Frog, frog, dog, frog, dog, frog, frog, frog, frog, frog, dog.
Oh.
Cat, frog, frog, cat, dog cat, cat, cat, cat.
Oh, that's a frog.
That is so hard.
It's much harder than you think.
Oh.
Okay, Amy, ready?
Level two.
Well, the first ones are pretty easy.
Okay.
This one or go back to that one?
Well, they already saw that one.
Okay.
I'll try level two.
Not yet, you'll see it first.
Stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, spot, spot, spot, spot, spot, spot.
Good.
Stop, stop, post post post post, spot, stop, stop, post post stop, post post.
Yeah, you got it.
That's so good, Amy.
You want to try hard?
Okay.
You got it.
That was hard.
Go hard.
Go hard.
Rose, nose, nose, nose, nose, nose.
Good.
Horse, Rose.
Oh, no.
You miss hose.
That was hard.
That's so hard, I mean.
Okay.
Hold on.
There we go.
Stove nose, hose, purse, rose, rose, horse.
I don't know what that was.
Hose nose nose horse stowed hose.
That's great.
Your country girl came out through house.
That was good job.
Can you do up and a lot?
one for Eddie. Dude, that is good stuff
to get you warmed up. This is the crap that we do at night.
We don't do it to do it a lot.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm going to try this.
Okay. Now remember it does it at first.
Okay. It'll show it first.
Okay.
Okay.
Dog, dog, dog, dog, dog. Cat, cat, cat, cat.
Dog, dog, cat, cat. Dog, cat, cat.
Dog, cat, cat, dog, cat, dog cat, dog cat, dog cat.
Oh, God.
Mouse cat, mouse, mouse, cat, mouse dog, Mickey Mouse.
Oh, go, go, go, go.
Cat, cat, mouse dog, mouse, mouse, mouse, mouse, mouse, mouse, mouse.
You got that's interesting, like, I, because in cat, I would have said rat.
Oh, that's what I was.
I'm an idiot.
Yeah, and sometimes you don't even know.
Because it brimes.
It would flow easier, too.
Lunchbox, you ready for this one?
Yeah, ready, go.
Here we go.
Moon, Spoon, moon, moon, spoon, spoon, spoon, spoon, spoon, moon, spoon.
Spoon, moon, balloon, balloon, spoon, spoon, spoon, spoon.
Spoon moon, balloon, spoon.
Moon, balloon, spoon, balloon, spoon, balloon, moon, spoon, raccoon, raccoon, boon.
You got to go faster.
Spoon, moon, spoon, no, that's not a spoon.
The rhythm thing gets lunchbox.
Yeah, rhythm.
I was trying to do rhythm.
But do you have to say raccoon?
You do have to say, because it rhymes.
All of them have a rhyming thing.
I didn't know.
Isn't there short for a raccoon?
Yeah, you could say coon?
Okay.
Yeah.
That's what I was checking.
I didn't.
Just checking.
You can say coon?
I think it would be.
Spoon.
Yeah, because it's the same thing.
Because you wouldn't add an extra syllable.
You can say raccoon.
But that makes it more difficult.
All right, hit me with the next one.
Oh, we're still going?
This is hard.
I don't want to do a hard one.
I don't do a hard one.
Give me one more.
I'm not very good at these.
All right, let's watch a commercial.
Hey, everybody.
Thanks for watching our YouTube channel.
Here's a commercial.
Here we go.
On beat.
What we got here.
Sock, sock, rock, rock, rock, rock.
Sock, rock, rock.
Clock clock, rock, sock, rock, sock, rock, sock, sock, rock, sock, sock, rock, clock, sock, sock, rock, clock.
Clock, sock, rock, rock, sock, clock.
Yeah, nailed it.
That was easy, though.
I got to see if I can get a medium.
Oh, this is medium.
Yeah, yeah.
I struggle with that one though.
Ball, ball, bowl, bowl, bowl, ball, bell, bell, ball.
Oh, crap.
Ball, ball, bell, ball, bell, ball, ball, ball.
Bell, ball, bell, ball.
Go, Amy, go.
Bell, ball, ball, ball, bull, ball.
Bull, ball, ball, ball, ball.
The beats are hard.
Hard.
That's cool, dude.
I'm going to start doing this.
This is fun.
And we have a huge screen.
I know, and it works.
I know.
I was thinking, gosh, if I'm
I had this at home and be fun with the kids,
but I guess you could just put it on the TV.
You do a TV.
Yeah, you can do a TV or we just do it on our phones.
We just hold the phone up and go, all right, go this one.
I know, I'm just picturing, like, the kids in the living room and, like, you know, y'all are probably laying in bed.
Yeah, we're not doing that with the kids.
We're sitting on the couch.
Oh, okay.
Probably cuddled up.
But then we send them to each other.
Cuddled up.
Are you guys cuddled up?
No, she doesn't, she's not a big cuddler right now.
Oh, yeah.
Don't touch me.
I get a lot of that.
I have you guys.
Don't want to be touched.
Yeah.
Don't be touched.
All right.
Take your breath there.
Pull, ball, help.
That was hard.
Fun though, huh?
Yeah.
Like, those are all going super viral on TikTok right now.
I'm not even sure who started that.
It just started popping out.
Random.
Yeah.
Los Angeles jury awarded $40 million on Friday to two women who say Johnson and Johnson's
talcum-based baby power caused their ovarian cancer.
Wow.
The trial featured testimony from former FDA had David Kessler, who said the company
hit evidence about asbestos and its products for more than 50 years.
The verdict is the first one for plaintiffs in an ovarian cancer talk case since 2021, or talc, I should say.
The company, talc, talk, take talc.
The company stopped selling talc-based baby powder worldwide in 2023.
Johnson & Johnson says it will appeal the verdict.
AP News.
Man, just pay the people.
But I guess if you just pay the people, then everybody else is going to sue you too.
Me too.
You know, it's crazy that we just like, I don't know, for so many years, like, just put chemicals.
We still are.
I know.
We're still doing it.
So I'm listening to this old-time radio stuff for Christmas, which is really cool, like podcasts on IHart Radio.
But there was one I was listening to, and it's like these are broadcasts from the 40s, right?
And the whole broadcast starts with camel cigarettes.
And they start talking about like, they've smoked 30 of these in a row and your throat will feel very smooth.
These are the smoothest cigarettes around.
And they're like, try it at home.
Next time you buy some camel smoke 30 in a row.
Yeah, it's the same.
It's the same.
just what we were told is okay
and it's happening right now too
we just won't know for 10 years
or 20 years
40 years what we're doing now
that it's being hidden from us
or we haven't discovered yet
the negative consequences
or effects from
yeah
talk
it's hard to get that out of your head
A win is a win
a win
a win
I don't care what I'm saying
yep that's me

I'm not worried about Policic.
I'm not worried about Balagan.
I'm not worried about McKinney.
My only concern is what happens in the back.
The biggest decisions.
If you're going to look at stats and numbers,
he has no shot at making this World Cup team.
And the truth about the U.S. national team.
It wouldn't be a huge surprise if our team ends up in the quarter of
finals or potentially a great run into the semifinals.

I feel like it was a little bit unbelievable until I really start making money.
It's Financial Literacy Month, and the podcast Eating While Broke is bringing real conversations
about money, growth, and building your future.
This month, hear from top streamer Zosso.
Spencer and venture capitalist Lakeisha Landrum Pierre as they share their journeys from starting out to leveling up.
If I'm outside with my parents and they're seeing all these people come up to me for pictures, it's like, what?
Today now, obviously, it's like 100%. They believe everything. But at first, it was just like, you got to go get a real job.
There's an economic component to communities thriving. If there's not enough money and entrepreneurship happening in communities, they fail.
And what I mean by fell is they don't have money to pay for food. They cannot feed their kids.
They do not have homes.
Communities don't work unless there's money flowing through them.

You can have opinions.
You can have like a strong stance.
And then there's your body having its own program.
I'm Dr. Maya Shunker, a cognitive scientist and host of the podcast, a slight change of plans.

We share stories and scientific insights to help us all better navigate these periods of turbulence and transformation.
There is one finding that is consistent, and that is that our resilience rests on our relationships.
I wish that I hadn't resisted for so long the need to change.
We have to be willing to live with a kind of uncertainty that none of us likes.

Here, the Nick Dick and Poll show, we're not afraid to make mistakes.
What Coogler did that I think was so unique.
He's the writer-director.
Who do you think he is?
I don't know.
You meet the president?
You think Canada has a president?
You think China has a president.
Those law a rouset.
God, I love that thing.
I use it all the time.
I wrap it in a blanket and sing to it at night.
It's like the old Polish saying,
not my monkeys, not my circus.
It was a good one.
I like that saying.
It is an actual Polish saying.
It is an actual poem.
Better version of Play Stupid Games,
win stupid prizes.
Yes.
Which, by the way, wasn't Taylor Swift,
who said that for the first time.
I actually thought it was.
I got that wrong.

Let's do the holiday tipping segment here.
This is something we kind of jump into for a second every year.
How much you should tip everybody?
Here we go.
Housekeeper.
Do you have Housekeeper?
Do you guys have Housekeeper at all?
I do.
50 bucks.
That's the tip every time?
No, no, for Christmas.
Oh, just for Christmas.
So like the last time they're going to.
come for the year, you just, you throw on, I think it's probably depending on what you can do.
If you can afford a housekeeper, you probably should give me more than 50 bucks.
Yeah, I do the same as a service. Like, whatever she charges for that, I just give her that as,
you know, like say it's a hundred and something dollars.
Is yours different?
What do you mean?
Do you have a different person all the time?
No.
Okay, got it. See, and we have somebody and I'm just like, they're in my house all the time.
I need to make sure they are happy.
She's not at my house all the time, like every other week.
Oh, okay.
What should you do?
Just clean your house?
We have to make three days a week.
So, oh, well, yeah, that's far more.
Like, the week after my kids are with me, because there's just a lot, like, sheets and.
Me too.
There's all over.
No.
Like, she's.
I was like, hey, let her.
Hey, man.
Hey, as the kids would say, let her cook.
No, no, no, no.
I feel you.
That's what, it's something that's just like.
Other than that, when it's just me, I can take care of it myself.
It's just between, that's one of those things where delegating that is very helpful because
then otherwise I'm spending my entire weekend doing that.
And I'm thankful to be in a place where I can do it.
And I guess I just, at the end of the year, I take whatever I pay her for one visit and I give
her that as a bonus, like a Christmas gift.
I was just like 50 bucks was low because they're in your house all the time.
And you don't want them to steal stuff.
Yeah.
You don't want to make them mad.
But also I think I have a closer relationship with ours
because she's our three days a week.
Yeah, I feel like that's very different.
And she probably, yeah, she also is like,
I think it's too like, what do they know that you have?
Yeah, exactly.
They know everything.
They know everything.
They know like, yeah.
Child care provider.
Like a nanny?
Like a babysitter?
I don't know because I don't have one.
I don't know if it's a nanny or, I don't know.
So I'm asking you guys, this is one I don't have.
So I don't know.
Like if it's just a random sitter, okay.
But yeah, if it's a nanny.
But if it's a random sitter, I don't think you tip them from one.
No, it's just, right.
It's kind of the same with the logic of if they're in your house or with your kids a bunch,
you want to make sure they feel happy, right?
Okay, let's not call it random, but like you have a consistent babysitter that you use like a couple times a month.
So come Christmas time, you should give them a bonus?
Yes, especially if you want to continue with, yeah, $48.
A teacher, $25.
I don't know, you gave teachers money.
I think you can do money or an end of your gift.
Why would you not just load them up then so they give your kids better grades?
I don't think that's legal. Go full and Becky.
Is that like pay a less?
Yes.
It's make sure.
But what about like middle school where like my middle schooler has like seven teachers?
That's expensive, man.
I didn't do that.
Maybe just homeroom.
Just the home room teacher.
It's weird because I've had years where I've definitely like made sure to give gifts and then like this year.
Times are tough, man.
No, it's not that times are tough.
I just haven't thought of it.
And now I'm like, shoot, school ends this week.
And I just had some other stuff.
I'm taking up space.
So I'm like, oops, whoopsy.
This is from bankrate.com.
By the way, we're, what's,
what's, the course of 42?
I guess in 18 minutes,
the press release is going to come out.
And if we're still on, I'll talk about it.
But I got kind of a big announcement coming up.
Landscaper, Gardener, snow remover.
But you can tell whoever wrote this
probably lives in the Northeast.
Yeah.
We don't have snow removers.
If we get snow, we just pray it melts.
So what are you supposed to tip then?
50.
Everything's around 50.
Mail carrier, $20.
got to be honest don't know the mailman
I don't either
I don't have a relationship with my mailman
but I see him
wave at him
you do
I talk to mine
he's a walker
yeah see when I lived in a neighborhood
where I had a walker
that I more
I would recognize my male person
but now I don't even know
when they come
yeah 20 bucks
trash collector $25
okay that you can like
well so with the mailman
and you can put an envelope
in there for them
lunchbox gets fired up every year
about this
this is like a bit he does every year
I don't even know if it's real anymore
He just brings it back.
They leave the dang note on the...
Would you like to tip your garbage man?
They have a plastic baggie and they tape it to top of your trash can.
No, I wouldn't.
Thank you.
But you don't have to.
I know and I don't.
It's just crazy.
Never forget to pick up your trash?
Or sometimes, yeah.
Okay, because you didn't put it out?
No, I have an alley so you don't have to put it out.
It's there all the time.
What do you mean?
So if you take the trash out, it goes out to the alley?
Yeah, like trash can stays in the alley.
You don't have to move it.
So the garbage truck goes in the alley to get the trash.
so you don't have to move your trash can.
It just sits there the whole time.
Yeah, but Bobby's saying when you physically take the trash out, you go out to the alley.
You don't like keep it close to the house.
Right, right.
I walk out to the alley, put it in the trash can.
It sucks.
It's so cold.
It does, man.
When you just say walk to the alley, I go, ugh.
Boy, that's the best thing about having kids.
Trash out.
Oh, yeah.
That's one of my jobs at home, though.
Like we have different chores that we do.
Trash is mine.
Feed the dogs as mine always.
Yeah, when you have kids.
It's mine.
You pass it down.
Mine are all outside the cold now that I think about it.
Because Caitlin doesn't want to do it.
You know what I'm good at, though?
I don't want to moan horn about chores because it's not like I do a lot of them.
But you know what I'm good at?
Tell us.
Can I guess?
Yeah, please do.
I found that I have a supreme skill at this and didn't know.
Wiping down the counters.
No, although I don't mind doing that sometimes.
Finding a show fast on your using the remote.
Blah, blah, blah.
Find that channel.
Not a chore, but I think it's a solid guess, but not so much a chore.
She's great at researching, hey, what just came out.
And she'll, if we sit down and we don't have something we're in the middle of,
she'll go like, all right, I've got three things we can choose from here.
We've got one movie and two shows.
We've been watching a lot of stuff because she, I don't know if I mentioned she's pregnant.
So, no, Amy yet one?
Like using the leaf blower?
You know where I use the leaf blower to blow off pickleball court?
You good at that?
Mm-hmm.
I am, it's precision.
Your leaf blower is legit.
Yeah, it's like,
there's a turbo mode on it
where you hit the green button
and he goes, whoa, super hard.
If you pointed out the ground,
you lift up.
Oh, wow.
No, it really does.
It'll pull your arm back.
You lift up.
So what is it?
Letting bowl soak.
That's not a chore.
It's not a chore.
It is.
That's putting something in the sink
and turning on the hot water
and letting it,
letting the water get rid of the grime.
But it is an extra step
that you don't have to do.
That is impressive.
So like oatmeal will be on the bowl
and I'm like,
you know what?
I'm just going to let this bowl soak.
Instead of scrubbing it out and put it in the dishwasher.
Smart.
I just let it soak.
That's helpful, man.
It's helpful.
She doesn't think it is.
She's not really a enjoy the soak kind of person.
Really?
She's like, why don't you just clean it off and put it in the dishwasher?
Yeah, you use the little sprayer.
But I'm like, no, I want my bowls to be appreciated.
I want them to soak and let that come off naturally.
Because if you don't soak the oatmeal and you start scrubbing it.
How many scrubs do you have before the bowl breaks?
Nobody ever thinks about that.
Like you're wearing it down?
How long are you letting the oatmeal bowl sit there before you go wash it?
Until somebody else puts it and cleans it and
I let it soak.
But he did contribute.
He helped.
Imagine trying to go there and scrub it out.
I'm basically a Mormon.
Is that a weird sexual reference?
Oh, got it.
Soking.
Got it.
Okay.
Nobody else got it.
I got it.
I got it.
I got it.
I got it.
I don't remember what that was.
I don't remember what that was.
Yes, we've talked about this.
I've heard it.
We've talked about soaking.
So they don't have, they don't have.
They don't have.
have sex.
Yeah.
But what they do is they have sex.
No, they don't.
Women don't?
No, before marriage.
Oh, got it.
Oh, I was like, wait a minute.
They don't have.
This is a terrible thing.
There is where it goes in, but they don't do anything.
So they have their, that's just called soaking.
But then they have friends that can hit the bed as well.
Jump on the bed.
Got it.
But really, that's not the soaking.
The soaking is just letting it, letting it hang.
Wow.
Did you not know that?
No, something new.
Like, I had heard of that, but I didn't know that that was it.
I mean, I guess I never paid attention.
one and 14 people would rather lick a sidewalk than give up their phone for a week.
What? Take my phone.
I'd rather like a sidewalk.
Yeah, a sidewalks.
That's nothing.
There's nothing wrong with the sidewalk.
It's concrete. I'll do it right now.
I'll look a part that I know people aren't stepping on because if they stepped on this part, they part hurt their ankle.
I guess I just would be fine without my phone for a week.
I'd be like, cool, a reason to somebody take away my phone.
I was thinking about that Brown shooter.
And when I say that, it makes me sound like a Hispanic guy shooting up people.
I don't mean that.
I mean Brown University shooter.
And so that Brown University shooter.
that Brown shooter.
Brown University shooter.
Yes, thank you.
They kill those people and they can't find them.
We talked about it earlier on the show.
If I ever shot up somewhere, I'd be smart enough to leave my phone behind.
But the way you would find me is that I wouldn't have been on my phone for 40 minutes.
Trying to think about this.
That's how you'd know it was me.
Oh, because.
You're always on your phone.
The activity.
So it'd be suspicious that he wasn't on his phone for 40 minutes.
Hold on Bobby was around here.
Let's check his phone.
No, he wasn't over there because his phone was here and it didn't move for 40 minutes.
wait he wasn't on his phone for 40 minutes he did arrest him he must have left his phone back
because there's not a 40 minutes and i'm not on my phone really unless i'm asleep that's good to know guys
if we don't ever get a reply yeah no you usually get one pretty quick yeah usually get one pretty quick
well it has to be a question yeah oh yeah you mean to respond to a statement no sometimes you give me a
a ha-ha yeah but if it's a funny statement but if someone's just placing a statement there is not an ask
for a reply. We do this in human form too. My wife will say something and I'm, okay, cool. She's like,
what do you have to say? You have anything back? I said, well, you didn't ask me a question. You just said
something. What do you? Our social contract isn't I say something that is a statement, a declarative
statement, and then you have to say something back. If I ask a question, it is. You say something back.
But don't you want confirmation that it was heard? But you ask me a question and yes, I do.
No, no question, no question.
So like...
I know it's heard
if she's looking at me
and I say it.
I need you downstairs at 3 o'clock.
Oh, great point.
So she'll say something like,
hey, will you grab something
and bring it in here?
And I just go grab it.
But that's a question.
She's asking me a question,
but I also respond to that
and yes, I'll go get it.
I don't yell yes.
I just grab it and walk.
She's like, why didn't know you?
How did I know?
And I was like, why, you asked me?
You never yelled a yes.
Yeah, but I was doing...
Yeah, we deal with that a lot.
See, this is part of raising kids, too.
I'm trying to raise my kids.
Like, hey, you've got to let people know that you're like.
So, like, my kids play basketball, right?
And they don't like eye contact.
They love just sitting there on the bench or whatever,
and the coach is talking like, if you're not.
Oh, you mean they don't want to look at the coach in the eyes or anybody.
Eye contact's just not important to them.
I'm like, it's important that you look at your coach in the eyes to make him think that you're listening to him.
Do you think that if allowed they'd rather be on their phone while they sit on the bench while everybody
played?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yeah, like on a tablet or something?
Yeah, yeah.
They're just over there on TikTok while the game until they go in the game.
And then they say, well, I heard him.
I'm like, yeah, but no one knows that you heard him.
Because you're just looking off into space.
Yeah, I think in those situations, you need to look at people in the eye.
But you don't have to respond.
That's my point.
Sometimes I look her in the eye when she's talking.
Eddie, do you ever correct the refs at games?
Uh-uh, not the refs.
Ever?
No.
They make like a crazy call.
No.
Come on.
The other day, though, the ref was like talking to me the whole time because I was watching
the Cowboys game.
He's like, what's the score?
And I'm like, dude, ref, ref, ref the game.
Yeah, I don't mean like yell, but if they made a call that like literally wasn't actual.
The only thing I ever do is just say like travel, you know, and hope they hear me.
But I'm not saying like, hey, why did you call that travel?
I don't do that.
At a game the other day, my boyfriend, partner, whatever I want to call him, I was like mortified.
No, I'm told you're not a lesbian, so you can say boyfriend.
I just always feel weird.
It sounds like a kid thing.
Yeah.
Well, I was.
But you're right.
I'm wrong.
Go ahead.
I was mortified.
Because I guess one of the refs called a.
a travel,
a travel, and it wasn't a travel.
He's like, you can take the ball.
So then the next time that ref made it close to us
and there was like a timeout or something,
he got up and he was like, hey, let's talk.
Like, he was very kind, but he,
and he started to show the move.
And he's like, when a foot does this, the foot work,
like your foot can step down as long as the other foot doesn't lift up.
It's not a travel.
The ref was telling the parent?
No, my boyfriend was telling the ref.
Like, you made a bad call.
Yes, like it was so, but he couldn't like help.
himself because it wasn't. And all the other parents, like, even the other ref was like, yeah, he was
wrong. That wasn't a travel. And the ref was fighting for that it was a travel. And my boyfriend was like,
well, even the other ref is saying it wasn't. In the middle of the game? No, it was like a time,
like a coach had called a time out. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. I know. I know. I know. I shrunk down and
I was like, no, no, no. Did you tell him at all? Yes, I was like, I'm not with you. He's like,
and the ref probably that called it wrong, knew it was wrong afterwards. No, he wouldn't let it go.
No, but he can't admit it in the middle of the game.
It's done.
It's done.
It's moved on.
You don't go, yeah, I messed that up.
You can do it after the game.
Hey, I miss it, but you don't do it in the middle of the game.
Yeah, it was like a blowout anyways, but I mean, and his son's team was winning.
I think he just, I don't know.
I tried to ask him, I was like, that's just so embarrassing.
And I think he looks at it differently because he ran these late, like he put on this sort of stuff.
He knows a lot of the refs.
And, like, he, I don't know.
He should know a ref is not going to admit in the middle of a game.
They, they, they.
Well, the other ref came over and was like, yeah, it wasn't a travel.
Wasn't his call, though.
I know.
I can't believe the other ref did that too.
Yeah, bad.
Because it was a bad.
That's a bad look too.
Yeah, that's bad luck.
Because the whole, the call from that one ref, ref was bad.
It was just a bad call.
They miss calls all the time.
You don't confront them.
I agree.
It wasn't a confronting.
It was more of like, no, I don't know.
The way his, because confronting sounds like confrontational.
It was a very kind encounter and more of like, if, if you're,
If you're going to be roughing games like this, you need to know the rules.
Oh, that's, that's its confrontation.
Was it a kid or an old or a ref?
Oh, no, old.
Even worse.
Wow.
I mean, probably maybe in his 40s or.
Oh, that's even worse.
It's getting worse.
Wait, why is this getting worse?
No, because a kid, you'd be like, hey kid, like, this is a trap.
In the middle of a game.
No, no, no, you don't do it during a game.
Never.
Yeah, no, but I guess he was just, like, hoping, like, you don't call all your games like this.
No.
No.
No.
That's confrontation.
I'm paraphrasing my version.
Did he know him?
Did he know him personally?
That's what I asked him.
I was like, do you know him because he knows a lot of the refs?
And he was like, no.
And I was like, oh, shoot.
But then all the parents, we sat back down, like, they leaned over and they're like,
definitely wasn't a travel.
But the ref who missed it probably knows that too, but in the middle of the game,
never going to admit it.
Yeah.
So.
Trust me.
I felt awkward too, but.
I know.
All right, let's go around the room.
Generally, he's not crunch.
Amy, you're up.
So a dad is going viral with his son because of their Christmas tradition,
and I think it's really sweet and also has a bigger message.
So when they go to pick out a Christmas tree,
they pick out the ugliest one, like the stumpiest, the saddest.
And they take it home and they decorate it and they make it really beautiful.
And they post it online.
And it looks pretty.
and the big message behind it is
this is so dumb
why is it dumb I liked it
y'all didn't see the dad going viral for it
I'm listening why do you think it's dumb
I mean go ahead finish first
you can't call it dumb
finish first okay so
when you fix your microphone that you knocked over
because it's all jacked up now
the wind screen is off like Amy's knocked it over
mid conversation okay thank you
I didn't mean to
go ahead
so it shows that even
something that is weird, lopsided,
can be turned to something beautiful.
And I liked that this is their holiday tradition.
They pay full price for that.
Well, it's probably cheaper.
Probably.
You probably get a better deal.
But how sweet that they're going to the Christmas tree lot
and they're not trying to find the most.
There's no way this tree's on the lot.
Why?
You think they just do it?
It's so bad.
They just find an ugly tree and say it is.
There's no way, I've never been to a lot.
It's in a tree that looks like this.
No, it's like stumpy.
Yeah.
That is not on a lot
There's no way that's on a lot
They cut that down in their backyard
No, they didn't
And they just claim they adopted the tree
When you go to a lot
They are all very good looking trees
For the most part, yeah
Okay, but maybe they have one like
Over in the scraps
Like oh this one didn't make it in transit
Tell me that tree's on the lot
That tree is not on a lot
No it's half, it's a cut in half
It's a cut in half
It's not a lot
They did say this year's tree
was especially bad
All right, lunchbox, you're up.
Guys, I got good news and I got bad news.
Oh, what do you want first?
Yeah, what do you want first?
We, duh, we want the bad news first.
Bobby wants the bad news only.
Well, this isn't about me, though.
Okay.
Yeah, okay, go ahead.
Bad news is I didn't hit the power ball last night.
Did nobody hit it?
Nobody hit it.
It's 1.25 billion.
We got to play.
Wow.
Because now it's high enough for you.
Tomorrow night.
Tomorrow night.
it goes down.
Cash value
$572.1 million.
1.25 billion total.
There were no $2 million
and there were
$2,1 million,
Arizona and California.
If I win that,
I will buy all you a Christmas present.
Hey, Amy, I want you to pick
five numbers plus a powerball number
just to see if randomly you matched
the ones from last night.
If you were to go up and pick, go.
Give me one.
Seven.
Didn't make it.
Go.
14.
Didn't make it.
Go.
21.
Didn't make it go.
Nine.
Didn't make it go.
44.
Didn't make it.
And your powerball number?
Does that have to be in particular?
Like, any number?
I don't know how that works.
Yeah.
Any number.
Yeah.
One through.
Yeah, you can repeat the number.
Go ahead.
Okay.
Well, if it didn't make it, I'm not.
Yeah, why would you repeat a number that didn't make it?
But you're saying it can repeat a number that you miss because it still could land on.
Right.
Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
Oh.
Two.
Correct.
Powerball numbers too.
Shut up!
No way, she got the Powerball?
Yeah, what do you win on that $10 or something?
Yeah, something like that.
Wow!
That's worth it!
I won the Powerball!
Yeah, tell them, call them.
Well, you didn't win millions.
But you could tell people you want the Powerball.
So that's it.
You just get $10?
Well, yeah.
That's awesome.
What were the other ones?
Well, Eddie, you want to pick five numbers?
I do.
Now I know it's not 21.
Oh, yeah, yours?
You have a bit of an advantage.
A little bit of advantage.
Five numbers off, yeah.
What is it?
One through what?
70?
70 or 69?
It's no.
zero's. It is one. No, there's no zero. Okay. All right. Give me 12. No. Give me 22.
No. Got close though. It was 23. That's one of them. Oh, you can't tell them.
Give me 23. Yeah. No. Give me 34. 35 was one though. No, I'm right there. Yeah, go ahead.
11. No, one more. 15. Uh-huh. You, you got in Powerball number? Oh, Powerball number.
What was it again? I forgot it. No, don't tell them. Three. Two. Two. Two.
I've been one away.
You just heard it.
You can go up to 1 to 69, and then powerball is 1 to 26 for the right powerball.
All right.
It's so bad.
So close.
Morgan, your story.
The final minted set of U.S. pennies combined sold for more than $16.76 million.
How many is in a minted set?
There was three coins.
So there's 232 sets of three coins sold at an auction in California last week.
So there are three coins to a set?
Yep.
Only three pennies. They call three pennies a set.
Yeah, because it's the last one. I think they did things a little bit differently here.
So did they buy, what they pay again? How much?
So it was a combined $16.76 million. But like one of them, each trio of coins was auctioned for an average value of more than $72,000.
Wow. $72,000 for $3.000.
Crazy.
The last ones. It's crazy. It is kind of weird. They're stopping making pennies.
Like, I don't use pennies really, and I don't pick up a penny. But it is kind of odd that they've chosen now to stop.
making pennies. Man, it's depressing. I picked up
three pennies last night in the parking lot. Heck, I'd say it's a miracle.
They stopped making pennies. That's a miracle.
Does that mean you can't use them anymore, too, since they stopped making them?
Because you can use $2 bills and they don't make those anymore, unless you order them
specifically, right? Isn't that the rule on $2 bills? We'd have to look at that.
You can still pay with them, though? Yeah, you can still pay with them. They're
valid currency. It's money. You can still get $2 bills because they're legal tender, but you
have to specifically ask for them in a bank, and they're not as common in everyday
change and banks don't keep large amounts, often requiring a trip to the vault or federal
reserve. They are not rare with billions in circulation, but people hoard them, making them
seem scarcer than they are. They do infrequent printing. The Bureau of Engraving and Printing
doesn't order new $2 bills every year. Sometimes they wait years between orders and people
use them less. So I guess they still make them, they don't make them as much with other dollars.
You know what's funny is what if someone comes back like the next president says, you know,
we're going to bring the penny back and you just spent $17 million for nothing.
I guess that would hurt.
That would be like Tom Brady coming back out of retirement.
I feel like that guy paid all that money for this last touchdown.
And then he's like, you know what?
I'm coming back.
And all the value of that ball goes down.
Immediately.
Yeah.
Edit your story.
Okay.
So this is an older story, but I don't know why I just popped up in the news.
There's a 20-year-old girl from Canada who wins the lottery.
She's 20 years old.
It's a scratch-off.
And the prize is a million dollars.
Or you can get $1,000 every week.
She picked the $1,000 every week.
Because in this case, she's 20.
years old, she can do it for the rest of her life, collect $1,000 a week. Whereas the million
dollars, everyone always says, like, the lottery, you win, get the lump sum. That's the better
decision to win the, when you win the lottery. But in her case, no, she's only 20. So,
she could make, that's right, it kind of breaks down the math a little bit of in 17 years,
19 years, she'll make a million dollars. So, I think I would take the money up front.
But in 19 years, she would have the million.
I hear you.
If she took the thousand a week.
If she makes it.
Yeah, I think I would take it.
19 years, she's 20 years old.
I think I would take it and invest it immediately.
Things happen.
I mean, if you have debt, you got out of the debt.
I understand the mathematics of it.
Yeah.
No, I think it you can invest it.
If it were $5,000 a week, I think I would take the $5,000 a week.
But the $1,000 a week, once taxes come in, what, $700?
30% right?
Well, not at first, but as it gets to the higher number app, yeah.
But it may, it depends how much she makes.
I think I would still take it and invest it, give it to somebody smart, and let them
grow it.
Yeah, it's a thousand bucks a week, right?
It's funny a week.
Yeah, it's funny because a lot of financial experts are like waning on it.
I'm not, I'm not an, I'm not an expert.
But I think if it were me in that situation, I think I would take the upfront, maybe pay off
a couple bills or get me a car and then invest like the other, and like change the quality
of life now.
Yeah, because $700 a week, I mean.
It's significant.
Could you not work for $700 a week?
Hmm.
Yeah.
I think you could, right?
Like, you're, okay, do the math on, it's 50 grand a year, $48,000 a year.
Okay.
Oh, you got to work.
You got to work.
You got to work.
You got to work.
And at 20, I mean, you probably don't really know what to invest in, I'd be honest.
That's why you give it to somebody smarter.
What did you say?
You give it to, like, people.
Oh, okay.
Yeah.
What do you think I said?
I thought you said, T bill.
I was like, tell me what a T bill.
I was anxious to hear exactly about a T bill.
No.
64-year-old man is suing Aria Resort Casino in Las Vegas after waking up.
in a security holding area in handcuffs
and being told that he owes the casino $75,000
despite having no memory of how the debt happened.
Sounds like a movie, huh?
No, it sounds like my nights in Vegas all time.
Or it sounds like, not old school, but...
A hangover.
Hangover.
Yeah.
Trying to piece the pieces together.
A 64-year-old attorney, Michael Duke Thompson,
is suing a resort and casino at an MGM after waking up.
Handcuffed, told he owes 75 grand,
doesn't remember it.
He says he was incapacitated,
It doesn't recall signing the casino markers.
Claims his signatures may have been forged.
The lawsuit alleges the casino negligently allowed him to keep gambling,
failed to protect him.
Okay, if this is true, dude, you were drunk and you did it.
He lost.
Yeah.
This is my opinion based on what I'm reading.
Dude, you did this.
And who cares he can't remember that?
And if you got yourself that drunk on your own accord,
then that's on you.
The story that came out, this is from Dexerto,
but the story that came out recently about the celebrity that said,
oh, it's Terry Reid, who said she was drugged.
And then it, and I'm not saying she was,
wasn't drugged. But they went to the security footage and it just shows her pounding alcohol at the bar.
I don't remember what did she say happen. That she got, she got drugged at a club or something.
At a restaurant bar? I think it's like at a bar and a hotel. Yeah. Lobby bar. And then I think she,
I don't know, Mikey may find this story, but what I remember seeing was that she got drugged and I was like,
oh, that's unfortunate. And then I didn't read it. And then I saw that watch the surveillance footage
because I went back to the second time. Terry Clemschlems, she was drugged by a stranger at a
Chicago area hotel bar on November 2025
after the incident left her hospitalized with no memory of an
eight hour period. She has maintained the
claim despite police finding no evidence of
drink tampering in surveillance footage.
Not only was there no
tamper in the footage,
but she was just hammering them it looked like.
So there's that. Also,
I can say this now. The bobbycast
is going on Netflix.
That's awesome, dude.
This is the press release. Yeah. That's so cool.
So,
Breakfast Club
Charlemagne,
my favorite murder,
the Bobbycast,
Chelsea Handler.
So there's a,
and the workaholics
there's a few podcasts
that are going up on Netflix in January.
So I'm pretty pumped about that.
I've known about it for a while,
but it's pretty cool.
Netflix, Inks,
IHeart Media deal for exclusive video podcasts.
And so the Bobbycast will go up
on Netflix in January.
Like what does that mean?
It will not be on YouTube anymore.
Okay.
Yeah.
We didn't have,
a huge video
I wasn't making much money off the video
anyway on YouTube people did watch it and I had
started a whole new spot to put the Bobbycats videos
we had a channel forever it did fine
but the Netflix came and was like hey
we'll pay you to have your video rights
because it crushes on the audio version
and so I was like great let's do it
and so yeah it's announced today
I am very pumped about that
I don't know the date yet but January
so nowhere else
Nowhere else but Netflix
But you'll be able to watch the Bobbycast on Netflix
That's cool
In January
So boom, pretty cool
That's really cool
Mm-hmm
All right there you go
But other things are still on YouTube
Like
Will the old ones be taken down?
If it goes up on Netflix
It cannot be on YouTube
Okay so it's like just
So moving forward
I think they want a bank
Of a few episodes
Probably the ones we did
In the last couple months
Oh like you and me talking about stuff
that makes sense
those probably won't go up
maybe
your best album
I have to do two a week
so it's an interview show
but I've got to expand that a bit
and just do yeah
send them the tragic jets
you don't do two weeks
we do now we have for like six months or so
but we were doing one maybe two
we didn't for sure one every Tuesday
there's a new one up today
with Tucker Wetmore
but yeah
pretty pumped about it
it should be significant
so will other if that goes
Will other things follow suit or you don't know?
I don't know.
I'd assume.
What I think's happening is Netflix wants people to go to Netflix all the time.
And I just use it as a, hey, there's a show at night that we all watch.
I think like YouTube, Netflix wants people to use their app similarly.
Like get on Netflix and watch your favorite podcast, just like you get on YouTube and watch it at 2 o'clock or during your lunch break.
So I think that's why.
I know there are some ringer podcasts that are going up as well, like Bill Simmons.
his group. So they're definitely making a concerted effort to add content to it. But yeah, that's what's up.
Happy to say. That's cool. Yeah, it is real cool. Okay. That's all for today. There is a new Bobbycast up,
not on Netflix, not until January, but it's what Tucker Wetmore, like I said, really great.
There's a story where he comes to town, and the whole debate is, was this person real or was it an angel?
I love it. He went to a restaurant, never saw the person again, significant, the person did a significant
thing. He's like, never saw him again. And I was like, that person was an angel.
I love it. Wasn't even a real person. So that's up. Check it out. Amy, what's on your show today?
I just had it in my brain, but then I got a text from your wife.
Well, instead of what?
Nothing.
What do you mean nothing? Why did you laugh like that?
She's just funny.
Yep, but that was like that was like she texted me and not you.
No, nothing. No. She's talking to me and not you.
That's the way I took it.
No, that's not what I was saying at all.
Okay, Kat's feeling disturbed.
And we have our December mantra, which y'all might recognize.
Wait, but why is Kat feeling disturbed?
Yeah, you have to listen to find out.
Yeah, no, the December mantra is separate, but it's take care of your money, your chicken, your mentals.
Why'd you laugh about my wife texting you like that?
That was so weird, man.
No, I meant like, I had what was pulled up, but then my text came in because she just makes me laugh.
I'm telling you, she's the funniest person.
I know it's annoying sometimes.
Yeah, but you would say like, oh, your wife just texting me.
That's funny.
She's so funny, dude.
But that's not about Bobby or.
It seemed like that.
Huh?
You went your wife texting me.
No, I just meant like, she just is.
It's okay.
It's awkward.
Whatever.
Never mind.
But y'all know who said that, right?
You watch an old movie?
No, I'm trying to put music on my, uh, on my picture I'm posting.
What's that?
Jack White?
Yeah, it's death letter by the white stripes.
Nice.
I got to make sure this the right one.
Nah, it ain't the one I want.
Anyway.
Okay, so do you all know who said that?
I forgot what you're talking about.
What, said again?
No, Amy, I have no idea who says that.
You asked me what was on my podcast.
Yeah, and then you were like, dicking around.
And then you got to find it.
Your wife texted me.
I think you did that little dick around.
And so then we just like, I don't know.
What?
It took like two seconds.
What was it?
The mantra about eating chickens?
I said cats feeling disturbed.
and our December mantra, which is take care of your money, your chicken, your mentals.
Your chicken? Your money, your chicken, your mentals. You all know who said that.
Are you saying chicken or chick?
Chicken. All right, we're done.
I thought you all know that. That's from a football player.
Marjohn Lynch.
I've never heard someone say, take care of your chicken.
I'm just here so I don't get fined.
Yeah, he said that too. This is one of his other classic quotes.
No, not classic.
All right. We're out. Thank you guys. We'll see you guys tomorrow.
All right. Bye, everybody.
A win is a win.
A win is a win.

stands. And then there's your body having its own program.
