Listen to Sweet 305 with Llele Pons on the IHeartRadio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcasts. Amy, give me a good story. Okay, this story is so precious. This daughter is getting married and she has one of her dad's vintage cameras. He has since passed away.
Starting point is 00:02:26 So at her wedding, her goal was to take some photos with his camera. Well, there was some film in there, but she didn't realize that film had been used at something in the 90s that her dad was at. So the photos that she took at her wedding layered on top of that old film. She didn't find this out, so she went to develop the photos. And when she went to pick them up, there's pictures of her in her wedding, but then her dad is also in the photos because they layered with those other ones that he was in. Oh, so all the pictures that came out. Yes. But he's not actually in her pictures.
Starting point is 00:03:00 He's just in other pictures. No, because he's dead. No, no, I know. But you said layered. It almost made it sound like he's superimposed into the wedding. But it's just other pictures on the stack, right? No, no, no. It's part of the picture.
Starting point is 00:03:10 It's a film. Like, so there was film in there that he had already taken. So then she took pictures with that same film. And then when she got them developed, it's like this, it's like a blurry vision of like, oh, wait, there's dad in my wedding photos. That's crazy. I thought it was like, you know, those cameras we had? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:28 And so four of them already used. No, this is a vintage, like some camera, a vintage... Oh my God, I'm looking at it. Roley film camera. Okay, I don't believe in ghosts. That's the ghost of her day. Does it look crazy?
Starting point is 00:03:39 Like, think of the picture, like a camera from like, I don't know, the 30s or something. It's not that it looks so crazy as in like he's just in the background with a thumbs up. But you can see like a shadowy, like a light of him.
Starting point is 00:03:54 I don't know. That makes me feel good. Yeah, for her, it was just really, really special because obviously he would have wanted to be there and walk her down the aisle and be a part of her special day. And to her surprise, when she printed the photos, it's as if her, it's like now she's seeing her dad actually was there in spirit in this weird way. That is really cool. Isn't that so touching? I didn't know that was possible. It must be so old a camera.
Starting point is 00:04:22 It's a very old camera. It's one of those where you have to put the blanket over your head. and pull the strings. The flash. So just so our audience, just listening to this nose, he's not like full body randomly standing somewhere in the picture. No. But it's like shadowy things of like his face.
Starting point is 00:04:38 It doesn't quite fit scale. Like sometimes his face is huge on top of those two at the... But it is parts of him. There you go. I got a picture. So this is one, like you're going to see his huge face here if you guys aren't watching on YouTube. Like that's his face over them at the altar.
Starting point is 00:04:51 Yeah, like you can see his eyeball. Wait, see the one on the left of the right. No, he's the shadowy thing. in the middle. Do you see his eye? Do you see the orange thing looks like a ghost or weird light? The big face? But that was a picture of his face.
Starting point is 00:05:05 The whole thing was a picture of his big face. Oh, I see his ear over there. I see his ear on the left. That's his eye. That's his nose. That's his penis. What is that? That's his nose?
Starting point is 00:05:16 Yeah, so a lot of it is like, if they were like close up pictures, you can see like parts of his head and stuff. And some of it is just the lighting. Yes, that's the point. Like I said, it's not a perfect. Guys, yeah, it's not, it's just a special thing where she was like, oh my gosh, there's dad. And it's like this in photo form, she has, she believes he was there in spirit. And this was his way of like being like, what up?
Starting point is 00:05:39 Oh, that's him right there. I see him perfectly on the right. I don't know. I think now you just. Yeah, I see the guy down there. There's a guy. I think that's somebody in the actual picture. No.
Starting point is 00:05:48 No, no. Is that a bad? Yeah. That's the weirdest one then. That's cool. That's like Corey Hame. Is your dad, Corey Hame? It looks like he's.
Starting point is 00:05:55 Because those are the wedding chairs, and he's like, it's like he's under the chair. He's creeping under the chair. Yeah. And it looks like he's like, hello. He looks like he's like 27. Yeah, because it was in the 90s. That's crazy. That's the craziest one.
Starting point is 00:06:10 You all didn't see that face when you first saw the picture? I honestly thought it was somebody of today underneath a chair, not the old part of the dad. That is pretty cool, Amy. What a cool treat, you know? Yeah. For those that just listen to this on podcast, I would encourage you to go to our YouTube channel because we do bring up videos now that we have this humongous screen. You've got the visual.
Starting point is 00:06:27 You can also see stuff we're talking about. It's at Bobby Bone Show. You don't have to watch it every day. But if you want to watch it, and we do stream live, which we're doing right now. That's a good one. Man, I'm so glad, though, because when she first said, like, she found the old film in there. Like, oh, gosh. What was dad up to?
Starting point is 00:06:42 Oh, gosh. I know. Exactly. Aye, yeah, yeah. Good one, good one, good one. Lunchbox. Yeah, in Las Vegas. Police and Fire got a report yesterday.
Starting point is 00:06:52 helicopter just landed in my neighborhood. Send help and they rushed to the scene and they're trying to figure out why a helicopter came down in a residential neighborhood. Turns out the guy just lived the house and wanted to get something to eat. And he was allowed to fly there because it wasn't a restricted airspace. So he was able to land the helicopter right there on the street. It was his own helicopter.
Starting point is 00:07:12 He was flying it. I don't know if he owns it. But he was the one flying. Yeah, he landed at his house. That was like Uber Chopper. To go inside. Like I already pay nine extra dollars for Uber to get their fast. What am I having to pay for Uber Chomper?
Starting point is 00:07:24 Yeah. How crazy is it that you're just allowed to land it on your street and go in and get some food? I didn't know you can do that. Like, you could just land your chopper anywhere? No, that's not what he said. Listen to what he said. But how is the street illegal for helicopter landing? I'm assuming there's some space there.
Starting point is 00:07:40 Yeah, there was enough space and it was a not, like it was a, there's airspace that is non-restricted. Eddie, you're not listening to him. That is crazy. I feel like they're going to change that rule real quick. Well, if there's open area to land. But the neighbors are like that. I don't know how close the houses are together. But you're right. It is weird.
Starting point is 00:07:58 It's very strange. I mean, but what an ultimate flex? You want to grab some lunch? You just put the chopper down in your street. Everything is about a flex to you. You love the flex. Guys, tell me if you can't brag to the neighbors, like, hey, man, you guys see what I did yesterday?
Starting point is 00:08:10 I dropped a chopper right there in my front yard. That would not be appealing to me because I don't know my neighbors. Therefore, I wouldn't want to go knock on the door and be like, hey, neighbors, guess what I did. I did a chopper. I'm also not a big chopper person. person. Okay.
Starting point is 00:08:24 Is it the war chopper or the helicopter? Helicopters just freak me out. But also, if he has a helicopter, maybe it's not his, but he flies it. I would imagine he lives in kind of an affluent neighborhood where other people do similar things. But I'm just doing a lot of speculating. I do think that's funny.
Starting point is 00:08:38 It's a funny story. I saw a guy on TikTok. He lived somewhere in Tennessee. Maybe it was Chattanooga area. And there were a few houses that were kind of close, but they're big houses. I would say upper middle class. but not upper class.
Starting point is 00:08:53 So big enough houses, but they had spaces in between the two houses. And sometimes from work, helicopter dropped him off from work from his job that he had. See, that's cool. That's awesome. Yeah. And the neighbor was like, this guy gets dropped off by his work, like twice a week by helicopter. Wow. I remember Michael Dell, like people that lived and by him in Austin, they would see his chopper go to work every morning.
Starting point is 00:09:15 Oh, he would go to work in his helicopter. Yeah, in his chopper. That would be cool if there was a landing pad on top of the building. and you were missing a lot of traffic. That would be cool. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Why don't you like helicopters? Just.
Starting point is 00:09:30 Mike found it. Mike found it. I'm sorry to interrupt. Would you mind get that up? That's okay. My story's not unique or anything. I just find them to be scary. And there's no way, like if something happens, you just fall out of the sky.
Starting point is 00:09:44 What's the caption on this day, Mike? See his house? So his house, it's a nice house, right? But it's not like a house you would go like that dude's a multi-multimillionaire. Yeah. But I bet the neighbor's house is right there too. My neighbor is a BA. It says East Tennessee.
Starting point is 00:09:58 My neighbor is a BA. He gets dropped off by a private helicopter and then they fly out of it. Oh, that's yours, not lunchboxes. Got it. Yeah, no, yeah. This is the one that I saw. Yeah, I saw this one too. I just said some words and Mike found it.
Starting point is 00:10:08 Dude, that's legit. Yeah, y'all. The helicopter's on his driveway. The guy runs out waves. Thank you for the ride. Dude, check out his wife waiting for him to get home from work. Got dinner on the table. And the chopper.
Starting point is 00:10:19 She does. She's like, come eat. Up. By the way, this is somebody from the military that flies like this. I've been in a few. So you're not supposed to fly like that unless you are extremely skilled. You mean nose straight down? Helicopters are weird.
Starting point is 00:10:32 I have been in five. The first time I was really scared. Second time I was pretty scared. The other times I was just like, I'm so tired. I just don't want to die. Which was the Jerry Jones time? The very, very last time. Not scary at all.
Starting point is 00:10:47 So I've floated. in one, the first one I flew was at Blake Shelton's house. He lives in Oklahoma, but he has a chopper that takes him to the Dallas airport, which is not far. And was Blake Flynn? He was not. He was like, hey, your chopper's out front. It was in his yard. No way. Like your ride to the airport. That was it. Because he lives so far back. His property is so far back. It's 15 minutes just to get to the main road and then to take main roads out of his hometown. He's like, your chopper's up front. And I said, what? They said, yeah. And then Rod, our boss was like, I want to ride. He's like, can I just ride? I said, you got to come back. He goes, okay. So I got it and put the headset on. Rod's like, I'm getting a job. So we went and he landed at the airport and you lower your head, even though nothing's going to chop your head off. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That one was kind of scary. We never got up
Starting point is 00:11:40 that high because we didn't need to. On, well, two different episodes of Bear Grills, I choppered it. The first one I chopper and I was scared to death because I was riding the chopper multiple times, but at the end, we like whipped around a mountain and I'm holding, I'm standing on the outside of it. There's a clip somewhere, probably on my social media somewhere, I don't even know if chased that one. It scared me so bad because I was strapped to the plane with him and I'm standing on that rail, you know, the rail on the bottom. Yeah. And it's whipping, like turning sideways. I was also exhausted, so that helped a little bit in me not being so, so, so scared because I was so tired. The third time was my wife and I going to, we did Bear Girls running wild with Bear Girls a second time in the mountains in Northern California.
Starting point is 00:12:34 And he showed up on one and we had to grab, this is on my social media, we had to hook ourselves on the ladder. And then the chopper flew up. takes the top of the mountain. We're just hanging from a ladder. So you weren't even in the helicopter. Later we got in it because we had to go places. But for that, kill me. That's messed up. We didn't know. They never tell you what you're going to do on that show or you won't do it.
Starting point is 00:12:57 And so my wife didn't know either. Yeah. And I caught her on a good day. You guys know my wife. She has no interest in doing a television show. Not. Knowing her now, isn't it crazy? She did that show with me.
Starting point is 00:13:10 Yeah. Yeah. I remember asking her to do it. because I was not going to do a second episode of that show. Because what? I didn't have any more story to share. My first episode, and you can watch all this on Disney Plus,
Starting point is 00:13:21 but my first episode was in Norway, and it was amazing, but I told them my whole story, and they said, hey, come back because I had just finished my season of my show, and it was like promotion for that, and I said,
Starting point is 00:13:37 I don't I have any other story, and I'm not really good at doing dangerous stuff, so that's not going to get people to watch. and so they said, well, would your fiance do it? Because we weren't married yet. And I said, there is no chance. So I asked her, I said, hey, would you want to go do Bear Girls? And she had been in therapy that day.
Starting point is 00:13:56 And her therapy, because she was dealing with a lot of the difficult parts of this job, my job for her, which is, at times a lot of people are very rude, mean, nasty to her. They don't know her. they send her messages they so or put they put comments in my comments about her just it's just real but she was like so her therapist said hey if you're gonna like have to take the bad stuff why don't you occasionally take something good from his job and it was that that day she was in therapy and so I think she was motivated and she said okay maybe this will be good I'm going to take something that I normally wouldn't do from your job and I'm going to go do it and she agreed to do it
Starting point is 00:14:40 And like a day later, she's like, I don't really want to do it anymore. But I already told them, and we did it. And so we were in the helicopter a lot, but when they landed to pick us up, I know I have a picture on my Instagram somewhere, but you don't know what's going to happen. And he goes, okay, here we go. And we held on to that ladder and the helicopter took us straight up. It's terrible. Because I wasn't even tired. It was the beginning of the episode.
Starting point is 00:15:09 It just started. The other time was when I was doing Snake in the Grass Down in South America, I was getting so car sick going into the jungle in the mountains Where I would get there and I'd vomit for 30 or 45 minutes and we couldn't tape Because I couldn't stand up And so they said, okay In order for us to not lose as much money We're going to have to pay for a helicopter to take you to these places
Starting point is 00:15:32 And so I did that a couple times Wow So in a way you were kind of choppering to work In a way I was that guy If you were that too. I wonder if I could find that picture real quick. Let's see. Helicopter.
Starting point is 00:15:51 Oh, there it is. Mike found it. Yeah, you need to show the top one, Mike, if you want. It'll look kind of blurry. Trying to find it better. Oh, well. Okay, I can probably find one. Anyway, it doesn't matter that much.
Starting point is 00:16:03 But helicopters are crazy because if they stop working, you know what they do? They don't glide. You're right. That's why I don't like them. They just fall out of the sky. They're just a paperweight. The physics of it. They should make them glidable.
Starting point is 00:16:20 There are helicopters with wings, aren't there? Like military ones? I've seen those. But they should make like some kind of soft raft on the bottom. You know? So like when they fall, like a parachute. It's going to be heavier. But you have to be a certain height for the parachute to.
Starting point is 00:16:36 Yeah, true. Because you can only, like even in those Cirrus spots, to deploy the parachute, you have to be at a certain altitude. And helicopters are pretty low most of the time. They definitely do not go as high as airplanes do. If we can find it, I'll show it. But if not, screw it. You guys got the point.
Starting point is 00:16:54 And there we go. Oh, there's a trailer for that? Huh, interesting. We're season six, episode eight. We'll look, but let's go to... That was a lunchbox flex story. Yeah, so cool. Helicopter flex.
Starting point is 00:17:08 You ever been in a helicopter? out there? Yeah, one time in Alaska. Oh, that's cool, huh? Yeah. That was really cool. Flying over like the mountains and the canyons and it was really cool. Glaciers? Do you fly over glaciers? No, we flew up to the top of a mountain like to go do the, what do you call those dogs? Sledding? Yeah, the dog sleds, the Editarod.
Starting point is 00:17:30 Like they had the mushing is what it's called. But they had the dogs up there on top of the mountain and that's how they get you out there. But you get to fly through these canyons. It was awesome. That sounds cool. That's the one day I haven't meant to. I think I'm 49. Really? I think I'm 49 because I went to Maine.
Starting point is 00:17:48 And I went to New Hampshire, which I didn't think it was a real place, but I think of 49 in. That's pretty cool. One more left. Yeah, Alaska. What are you waiting for, man? It's there. It's a long ways. Yeah, I mean.
Starting point is 00:17:59 Can't really ride my bike there. But to that point, too, it's there. It's not going anywhere. So he has time. Yeah. He may go somewhere. I'll go places like to round my bike. Here is the picture, I think.
Starting point is 00:18:12 It's okay. I hate to rush him, Mike, because he's doing nine things. Okay, we'll come back to that. Morgan, you want to do your story? Yeah. Do you guys prefer a birth story or a robot vacuum story? Robot. It don't even just say the next word, but a robot. Okay. So there is a 25-year-old man, and it was at his house. He has a robot vacuum. Does anybody have a robot vacuum? Like a Roomba? No. Yeah, like a Roomba. No.
Starting point is 00:18:36 No. Nobody knows one? I don't have one. Okay. I used to. I haven't used it in a while. I have one and you need to know because it caught on fire and he has suffered 75% burns on his body after the robot vacuum caught fire in his house. Why? Okay, so did the house catch fire and that burnt him? Yeah, he wasn't trying to like hug it. No, you're on fire. I'm saving.
Starting point is 00:18:55 It caught the house on fire. Yeah, it was in the kitchen and it caught on fire and obviously he was in the house. And they don't know what happened with the robot vacuum to do it. They suspect the lithium battery, but it's definitely something to be cautious of. if you have one. You can do your birth story now. Oh, okay. So there was this mom, and she has three babies, so she's given birth before.
Starting point is 00:19:16 But she had gotten her epidural and didn't think it was working, so she asked for a few more doses. And in that, she finally ended up falling asleep. Well, she gave birth to her baby while she was sleeping and had no idea that it happened. Wait, what? You wake up in your mom. Oh, my God. Well, epidural, so she didn't feel it, right? Yep, she didn't feel anything.
Starting point is 00:19:38 But you still have to push. She didn't. Yes. Or does it just come out? Well, sometimes I pooped without pushing. I'm just saying it's a muscle thing. Oh, it just comes out. Like if something in your body is not.
Starting point is 00:19:50 Like involuntarily. Yes, yes. Because obviously something wasn't exactly right with her. Like, our body wasn't firing on all cylinders. Yeah. And so I'm not saying that poop is saying as a baby, but you have 99% of the time you've got to push. Right. But sometimes it's like, oh, God.
Starting point is 00:20:04 And sometimes you do things in your sleep. So maybe she was pushing in her sleep. Also a great point. Yeah. So she had, basically she got the epidural administered, asked him to come in three more times because she wasn't getting comfortable. She finally got comfortable and drifted off to sleep. And while she was asleep, the nurses were coming in to check on the baby's heartbeat, which they typically do. And the alarm had went off on the monitor because the heartbeat wasn't found anymore.
Starting point is 00:20:28 So the nurses come running in and the nurses are like looking for a heartbeat. They can't find it. They feel her stomach and things are weird. They're like, your stomach feels weird. That's not normal. and then underneath the blankets was the baby. She had given birth. The baby's got her phone smoking a cigarette.
Starting point is 00:20:45 Just like, guys, what are you been? I've been living for a while without you guys. Yeah. That's a wild story. I should have picked that one. I just didn't know what it was. It's okay. And thankfully the baby is okay.
Starting point is 00:20:55 But the baby wasn't crying at first when they found it in the blanket, so she was really worried and panicked. But yeah, thankfully baby is okay. Can I show you this from the Today Show? New York woman gives birth to a stunning 14-pound baby girl. Oh my gosh. It's a big. Our baby now, Billy, is 15 pounds. Imagine that coming at your badge.
Starting point is 00:21:14 That's ripping. I wonder if that was... Good point. Natural. Good point. Because that big, I think that would be dangerous. Good point. Good point.
Starting point is 00:21:22 Let's see. Let me read it. 14 pounds and one ounce. We wanted to give her the name the honored feminine power wisdom and uncontrollable. It doesn't say... C-Set. Yeah, that's a great point. I mean, I think you can do some damage.
Starting point is 00:21:35 Yeah, probably so. Okay. So here's the picture of us on the helicopter. You can't really, the couch is show, you can't really see the land because it's the couch. I got it up. But the couch is. Full screen. That's just for you guys.
Starting point is 00:21:49 Oh. For the stream. Well, you still, yeah, even the bottom of the picture. It looks like. Who's at the bottom, uh, bear? Yeah, me, middle, Caitlin top. And we're, we're way up there. Dude, that's a cool.
Starting point is 00:22:00 Is that, is that framed somewhere? No, but it should be, right? We have a really cool one of those. That's legit. I'm just never good at framing stuff because. I'll find a picture and I go, I think you get this framed. And then the resolution is like two. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:14 And I have to blow it up. And Mike's like, you can't frame a picture of this right. It's going to look like 1980s Mario. Right. All the pixels. Yeah. Dude, that's a cool picture. Yeah, that is really, really cool to see.
Starting point is 00:22:27 And then also was probably a really amazing memory and experience. Oh, I've never been. Well, okay, birth. Secondly, was watching Caitlin do that show go off the sides of cliffs and stuff. because she didn't want to do it. And I was scared, but I did it once. But then when someone else that you care about is scared also, you kind of don't worry about your scaredness.
Starting point is 00:22:47 And to watch her, and she was like crying at the end, going off this massive cliff. I don't know if I can do it. I'm like, you got it. She's like, okay, here we go. Just freaking jumped off the cliff. Crazy. Yeah, that was wild.
Starting point is 00:22:59 And Barry was giving us advice on, you're engaged. Here's what's going to happen. It was great. Oh, that's cool. That's up on if you do want to watch it, It's on Disney Plus, and like Mike said, it is season six maybe. The season before, that's one at it by myself, but it's season six, episode eight. Bear takes Bobby Bones back into the wild with his new fiancé, Caitlin Parker.
Starting point is 00:23:23 Man, back into the wild. And then it has the IMD pictures of me, and then Caitlin, it's just a gray blob. She doesn't know. Like the avatar or whatever. Generic. Like the egg on Twitter. Eddie. Okay.
Starting point is 00:23:36 So in Lincoln, Nebraska, this owner of a vegetable fruit market shows up to work to open up the store, and it had been vandalized overnight. Like all the vegetables that thrown off smashed jars of jelly smashed or whatever. But she had surveillance camera. So she goes to the news, gives them the surveillance footage. And so one lady is watching the news. Like, oh my gosh, that's my daughter. My daughter's part of this vandalizing. No.
Starting point is 00:24:04 Yeah. So she calls the cops. She told on her. And she turns in her daughter. So my question for you guys is good parenting? Yes. Probably there's been some trouble with that daughter before. I'm not, there's a very low chance that this is a straight A student that has minded her peas and cues and cues and the mom sees her doing the vandalism for the first time everyone goes.
Starting point is 00:24:30 I'm so surprised that she does that. Yeah, yeah. Probably not shocking. So if that's the case and there's been some trouble before, you for sure do because you got to get hurt. help at some point, but she's got to get to a point where she gets in trouble to understand that trouble can be had and trouble can be worse if you keep doing stupid crap like this. And you think you would get to the point to turn her in? I think if she had been in trouble before and we constantly been like, you can't do this anymore,
Starting point is 00:24:57 I'm going to kick you out of the house, you're making bad decisions on and on, and then you see this, yes. Because if she's doing this and gets away with it, it just elevates. And then next she's robbing banks. Then she's got, you know, ten other friends and they're trying to do a casino. Yeah. You know what I mean? Like Ocean's 11. That's where the ten other friends come in.
Starting point is 00:25:19 You know, what's crazy too is so they arrested her, right? But the other, there were three involved in the vandalism. So the other two, she had to turn them in too because, like, they got her. A show-based baby. Although I'd be pissed by the other two. I might go and, you know what I'd. Retaliate? Yeah, I'd be scared about that.
Starting point is 00:25:35 I guess if my mom turned me in I would be like well you all have to figure out who else is in the video Oh you wouldn't tell Well what if it's for a lesser sentence for you You'd fold like a lawn chair They'd get you in that room and you'd be like All right it was Christy it was Nicole For a lesser sentence
Starting point is 00:25:55 Yeah That's usually how they get you I know or they get you like this Well they've already told us They do this a lot Oh yeah like the So we already know. So it's up to you now.
Starting point is 00:26:08 Like, we're here to be your friends, but we don't want to see us suffering. This can go a lot easier if you just go out and get it over with, and we can tell the judge that you were cooperative with us. Okay. See, as long as they already told on you. So they're so good at that. As long as my friends know that I was tricked into saying, then we're good. They're not going to know that.
Starting point is 00:26:25 Well, are they going to know that I told on them? Probably. That's showbiz, baby. Yeah, it's time to find new friends, too. Trust me, you have to find new friends not because they're going to shoot you. Exactly. Bobby's right, they do that. On the first 48, they get the guy in the room.
Starting point is 00:26:41 They're like, man, your friend told us you're the ringleader. What, he said that? Why would he say that? It was his idea. It's like, dude, they didn't say that. That's like when they pull you over too, like with someone else. You know, and they're like, all right, they'll ask you questions separately to see your stories match. What?
Starting point is 00:26:55 I've never been pulled over with someone else and been separated. What? They never? Like, I've seen it on shows. So, okay. Yeah, not me. Not me. And he was like, you know, it's like, you know, it's like,
Starting point is 00:27:04 when you get pulled over. Not even that. If cops find you hooking up in the woods, like in your car, they'll take you both out and talk to you separately to make sure somebody
Starting point is 00:27:11 wasn't raping somebody. Oh. Or to make sure it wasn't a prostie. They asked you where you met her. Like, how do you know her? Yeah, but mostly it's... What's her last name? It's...
Starting point is 00:27:20 No, they think it's a prostee. I'm telling me, I've watched these cops shows. I've never heard it called that. Prosti? No. And, I mean, one time our intern Angel and I,
Starting point is 00:27:29 we were driving to Alabama for... We had done... There was a, what was it? It was Hurricane. Katrina. And we had collected supplies and I got pulled over. And the cop took me out.
Starting point is 00:27:41 It was like, what's her name? And I was like, intern Angela. He's like, what's her last name? I was like, I don't know. And so he was doing the same thing. Like, where'd I meet her? Prosty. Yeah, he thought she was a prosty.
Starting point is 00:27:52 He's like, where'd you meet her? And I'm like. The radio station. At work? He goes, what's her last name? I was like, I don't know. And so then he had to go up and ask her. And she said, yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:02 Did you make up prosty? Because that's funny. or have you heard that somewhere? I just, that's what I say. I've never heard that. I've never heard that. So I don't know that that's what you say. But it is funny.
Starting point is 00:28:11 I'm telling you that's a funny word. But you've talked about prostitutes and never once said a prostit. I've said prostit before. You've said women of the night. I've heard that one. I feel like I would remember a prostate, but I do forget a lot. One time he said, do you ever get fries and prosty? And we thought he meant Wendy's.
Starting point is 00:28:32 Didn't you two lunchbox when you? No Teeth Keith? You guys went to the beach or whatever And then like one of your friends said you didn't know him No, he was teaching some kids how to drive They were like 14 to 15 on the country road And there was four kids in the car And he asked one kid, have you ever driven before?
Starting point is 00:28:48 He's like, yeah, yeah, no problem. And he goes, all right, so he put him behind the wheel And got in the passenger seat And kid was all over the road. And what do you know? And so they took Keith back And the cop came up and was like, Do you guys know that guy?
Starting point is 00:29:04 And one kid in the back seat goes, No, I don't know him. Got him. Oh, gosh. What a call to the cops said. God's like, what? And then he said, oh, we got a problem. He called back up.
Starting point is 00:29:15 And then they sorted it all out. And when Keith got back in the car, he's like, kid, you can't joke like that. Like, that'll get us in some big trouble. From Urban Dictionary, Prosty, short form for prostitute, example used in a sentence. Dang, it's like negative 10 outside. That's one Frosty Prosty on the corner there. That's the example. And then the other one, prosti, short for prostitute.
Starting point is 00:29:40 This is what they say. That B is a prostit. Man, this place is littered with prostities. I've never heard that. So that's funny. Yeah. All right, there you go. Is that your story, Eddie?
Starting point is 00:29:52 That was mine. How do we get to prostit? I have no idea. What did you even talk about? Oh, the vandalism of the place. Oh, and then talking about, you know, and saying, pulled over. First 48.
Starting point is 00:30:02 And then lunchbox is like, it might be a prostie. Yeah. That's good. That's funny. That's funny. The price of gold is dropping. Uh-oh. Gold is okay this. It'll go back up. Gold entered Q2 at around $4,700 an ounce. Still up from when I got mine. You know, I've never called this guy. Should I call our guy? The gold guy, yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:22 Kyle? He's this, no. No, no, different one. This guy's the CEO of a massive company. I got to find his number, though. Because I have a sale, and I've never once called him. John? Yeah. John.
Starting point is 00:30:33 I've never once called him. He won't know what the number is. But if I call him and go, hey, it's Bobby Bones. He remember me, right? I think so. We should text him first, right? No, I have to call him right now.
Starting point is 00:30:46 Okay. You're just going to call him? No, like, warm up text? I'm not like, hey, it's Bobby Bones. Bobby Bones, I have a question about gold. Well, I've got to find his number. So it's down, but I'm telling you from when I got mine last year, it's still up. Okay, so you're still in the positive.
Starting point is 00:31:02 I am. by like $700. That's awesome. If it's it. Yeah, but didn't you get it? Oh, you got it for like pay. Yeah. So it was, but it was around, I think the day I got it,
Starting point is 00:31:14 gold was sitting at $4,000. And now Bobby said it's $4,700. Yeah, it went way up. Okay, here we go. Should I text him? But what if he doesn't respond? Let me just call. Just call.
Starting point is 00:31:27 Call. Why not? Do you call it soccer or do you call it football? You're right. Who gives a fuck? It doesn't matter what you call it. The 90 minutes is what matters. Sports interaction has hundreds of markets on every match of the tournament,

Starting point is 00:32:16 together. We're going to have these meaningful conversations with the world's most fascinating people, like when actress Olivia Munn shared how she overcame fierce health challenges that she never saw coming. I've gone through breast cancer and then helped my mother through breast cancer, and that was more difficult. There's a lot of people who understand postpartum depression. I was not prepared for postpartum anxiety. Olympic champ Sean Johnson revealed why she had no choice but to be a gymnast. There was something about gymnastics that was intoxicating to me.
Starting point is 00:32:47 It's given me a belief that we all have one of those treasures inside of us. We just have to find it. Listen to Joy 101 with Hoda Kotby on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. My first guest is Paris Hilton, Shakira, Luke and Yerrin, Samira, and Gracie. I'm so excited. On the bouncy bed. You have surprises? Many surprises.
Starting point is 00:33:15 Welcome to Sweet 305, where the group chat comes to life. What up! It's like a way to say like, Hello, my friend, hello, my brother, what a... Look, never I've ever been talking with nobody. Except with my kids, my kids, my children. See my amante.
Starting point is 00:33:32 Uff. Punch, that incredible. Yeah, the telenovela. You're the only person I know that loves a yellow starburst. It's lemonade. No, there's someone. Like, you'd say, I'd like to collaborate with this person.
Starting point is 00:33:49 This is Sweet 305. Listen to Sweet 305 with Lele Pons as part of my Culture Podcast Network on the IHard Radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcasts. I'm Jake Brennan, and on my podcast, Disgraceland. I tell the stories behind music's
Starting point is 00:34:06 biggest names, the moments that shaped them, haunted them, and changed music history forever. Like how the story of the foo fighters and Dave Grohl isn't just about music. Imagine that. You're in the biggest band on the planet, as Dave Grohl was in 1994 in Nirvana. And the phone rings, and you learn that your singer, your friend, the reluctant voice of a generation, Kurt Cobain, is dead. This is a story of fame, pressure, friendship, and the weight of fulfilling your destiny. Learn more about the moment everything changed. Disgraceland is part of the exactly right network.
Starting point is 00:34:48 Listen to new episodes every Tuesday, bonus episodes Thursday, and rewinds on Sunday on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Be bold. We played golf with him. He was awesome. Yeah. The answers. And West Palm.
Starting point is 00:35:07 Yeah. Eddie's favorite place. Might have been just Palm. When Eddie was fighting us about it. Just Palm, West Palm. So where does he live? What part of the country? L.A.
Starting point is 00:35:17 Oh, so it's only 744. Oh, dang. I know. Hey, John, it is your old buddy Bobby Bones, your old golf and partner. And we are talking about gold on the show right now. And I said, I know somebody who knows all. about gold. And we're actually on right now. So what I'm saying to you is actually making the air as well. Because we read gold entered Q2. It's 4,700 an ounce. Oh, right now it's at $4,015. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:49 Well, that's not good. Amy lost some money on gold. No, I'm still up by $15. Well, anyway, we're talking about it now. We have no idea what we're talking about. So I didn't know if you would answer. Also, you didn't know my number. But I hope you are good. Save my number. And maybe we can talk about gold sometime soon. Bobby Bones. The gal of the glasses, you know, B minus golfer. Mexican friend. Yeah. My Mexican friend was with me, Eddie. Yeah. What's up, John? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Ola. Okay. The white person yelled Ola for the record. That's Amy. That's Amy. That's Amy. Okay. Bye, John. Yeah. He runs a massive, he's a massive company.
Starting point is 00:36:28 So, so what was that greeting? That's from a, that was a person? Must be his assistant. Leaving a, having somebody else do your voice mail? I should do that with my wife or something. kid. Eddie can't come to the phone right now. That's funny. I'll watch my phone to see if he calls back. I hear the white board is on fire out there. On fire.
Starting point is 00:36:49 Yeah, it's every day, new question. Is it every day? Every day. Well, they had the question I shared. Then there was the popsicle one. The one I saw yesterday was legit. From cars. Do you all see that one?
Starting point is 00:37:01 Yeah. So they're just riding new things up on the board every day. Yeah, community engagement. Okay. I don't know. It's a mystery. I kind of don't want to know. Really?
Starting point is 00:37:10 It is always weird when you see someone doing the billboard. Because usually you just drive by the billboards, but when you see someone like doing the billboard putting it up, I feel like I'm watching someone undress. My guess is that it's Howard, but... I thought it was a front desk girl. I think it's a girl because the handwriting's too good. Really?
Starting point is 00:37:27 Yeah, it's nice handwriting. You can read it. I feel like some men can have readable. Oh, you think it's Kate? I know it is. Oh, you do? Oh, you know? You saw it.
Starting point is 00:37:34 How do you know? Because we have a button, Scuba Steve. and talk to me that you guys can't hear. We use it all the time. It's the girl that lunchbox is always asking tickets from. Oh, yeah. You got any Miley Cyrus. I don't know your name, but do you have tickets?
Starting point is 00:37:49 And I get 13 tickets to Miley. So what prompted, Scuba, do you know what prompted her to begin this activity? Yeah, a couple weeks ago we had a big meeting about workplace culture and we don't have it here. And so that's why they did that canoeing thing and they're doing all this like get together. What canoeing thing? Oh, they did a canoeing trip. They got the day off. They got to go to do canoeing.
Starting point is 00:38:07 It was the Friday. It was during like morning show hours. We don't go down that stuff because we have to work. See? You know what though? What about community culture here? We don't worry about that. We look at each other in the eyes for five, six, seven hours.
Starting point is 00:38:19 Look at this culture. I'm looking at your eyeballs. Like, I'm some cultures right now. Strong culture. Thank you. You know what I heard, though? When we were on vacation, this place was dead. Like, no fun at all in the building.
Starting point is 00:38:31 I don't know. I don't walk out in the building. Who said that? Your boy, McKitty? Yeah. He just missed you. He said it was dead. He said.
Starting point is 00:38:36 He said that was like no fun, man. Like nothing was going on here when you guys weren't here. What was the dang story of the whiteboard? Oh, the whiteboard was Lightning McQueen. Does Lightning McQueen from the movie Cars have health insurance? No, life insurance or car insurance? Huh? Funny question.
Starting point is 00:38:52 I would say he has life insurance. Because he's a car. Yeah, I mean, it's funny. My answer's not right. But I would say life insurance that's also covered through car. So I also was wondering, does she just Google, like, whiteboard? questions for work. How do you find that?
Starting point is 00:39:08 Maybe. Because remember the place in Austin? Oh, yeah, El Arroyo. Every day they had something. Oh, yeah, they still do. And they were like, do you have Dickie Do? You drive by, they'd be like, do you have Dickie-Doo? And then you'd be like, Dickie-Doo.
Starting point is 00:39:21 And then you'd look down and be like, your belly sticks out farther than your dickie-do. That's like. I love that. Yeah, my uncle would say he had that. He also had Dunlap disease. His belly Dunlaped over his belt. And he had the noacetol disease.
Starting point is 00:39:36 What's up? no ass at all his butt and his wranglers was just flat my aunt was bigger and my dad would always say like yeah she's on a seafood diet sees food she eats it
Starting point is 00:39:48 he said that in front of her oh yeah they had a weird relationship hey let me finish this gold story sorry I miss led you Amy when I said 4,700 I didn't get to the second sentence which it's at $4,015 now so you're still up $15
Starting point is 00:40:02 markets are now pricing I don't know much Goldsilver.com I have been so I've been buying a lot of stocks but when I buy a stock I do like a hundred bucks at a time
Starting point is 00:40:17 and I don't consult anybody I just buy it on my Robin Hood He didn't consult with you I consult him He doesn't ask for it She does send me stuff To be fair he's not asking me at all I just send a question and then he buys it
Starting point is 00:40:34 And doesn't answer the question I'm just like, so. Well, no, I say, oh, I'm going to buy this for the bits. We can keep up with it. That's pretty much it. Yeah, Bobby gave me money yesterday, and I'm investing it. Oh, yeah, Amy, was like, you sent me money. Bobby sent me money yesterday, and I said I know exactly what I'm going to do with this.
Starting point is 00:40:52 See, this is so stupid. Robin Hood. No, not that. I want to invest, too, but my money guy said I can't invest yet. Well, because you have things you need to take care of with your family. I get it, but, dude, I want to be part of this, too. And then when you come on, you're like, man, I put 100 bucks. look, it's at a thousand.
Starting point is 00:41:07 Do you know how much an auto zone one stock cost? Auto zone? Yeah. Again, I can tell you my strategy in a second because it's really stupid. But did you, I sent Amy $120. He said me $120 on my podcast. Just randomly he did. Well, no, not randomly.
Starting point is 00:41:24 Well, but it was random to me. If it's, if you're not promoting something and you come on my podcast because I pay Eddie all the time too, you're doing work on my podcast, I pay you because there's no reason you should be spending time doing my podcast unless you're making money or I'm taking advantage of you guys. And so Amy had done two episodes. And we used them on the Bobby Own Show Feed and stuff too. But it's like if you're going to come do my podcast that I'm making money on, I'm going to pay you for your time. And so I paid Amy. I forgot to tell her though. She just had money show up in her Venmo, which is always weird. It was like, yeah, but that's like
Starting point is 00:41:52 finding money in your pocket. Pocket. Yeah. And then Bobby was like, don't send it back. I was like, okay. Were you going to send it back? Well, I was at first I was like, no, this is stupid. you don't have to pay me because I would do that. I would come record stuff with you, no problem any time. And she would, but I'm not taking advantage of that. I shouldn't.
Starting point is 00:42:10 If you guys do episodes with me and we're talking about something and it is one of my podcasts, I pay you because you are putting work and effort and you deserve to be paid. So, yeah, Eddie, I pay Eddie every time. It's awesome. And I'm not doing him a favor.
Starting point is 00:42:28 Yeah. He's also great at it, but he shouldn't have to come and spend 45 minutes doing this and not make any money. So that's what it was. I really do appreciate that. You don't, you shouldn't because you're doing the work. I know.
Starting point is 00:42:39 No, I get it. Now, once you explained it, I was like, well, that makes sense. Like, thank you for thinking of that. Okay. What was I going to say? I don't even remember now. You were looking something. Oh, you know what I do?
Starting point is 00:42:52 Gold? No. No. So Trump buy stocks. He's like the only president to, like, buy stocks ever. Most presidents put their stuff into trust, don't make money while they're doing it. He buys stocks, but his stocks are public, so whatever he buys I buy.
Starting point is 00:43:05 How do you know that? They post it on Twitter. Okay. And they all go up because he makes them go up. It's crazy. So he bought AutoZone? No, I just just looking at AutoZone. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:43:16 What got you on AutoZone? No, this is what's crazy. Because on my Twitter feed now, they know I like, I follow a few accounts that just tell me what. It used to be what Pelosi would buy because she's also crooked. In my opinion, my opinion. No, I think it's, it's, I'm just saying my opinion in case Nancy Pelosi wants to sue me.
Starting point is 00:43:35 Allegedly. She crushes. You shouldn't be able to trade stocks if you're in government and you're in these meetings and you're, you shouldn't. So I'll piss on both of them, Pelosi and Trump. They shouldn't be doing that. However, I was, my Twitter knows I like to follow what Trump buys because I buy it right behind him. Because I'm going, if he's buying it, he's going to affect something to make it go up. and or he knows something that it's already going to go up or yeah yeah um and so it feeds me other
Starting point is 00:44:08 stock stuff too thinking i'm generally interested in it i'm not i don't know nothing about it and it said auto zone is it a low and i go to look at auto zone and one share is three thousand forty four dollars i didn't know i did not buy a share that's a low that is that is a lot for one share yeah that is crazy what was it what was it what's a high for auto zone no no that's what one share it's um I know, but you said it's at a low. Well, they said to buy now on that article that I saw. Because it's lower than it would normally be. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:44:38 If you scroll down on this app, it tells you 52-week high for a share is $4388. So $4,38. And 52-week low is $2,928. And so if it's at $43, it's at $3,000 now. So it's down $1,300 from the year high. I wonder if it has something to do with like the quality of cars that are being made. It can be anything from they could have said they have not met their quota of manufacturing a product. It can be anything.
Starting point is 00:45:08 So it doesn't have to be something like that. You would think like a fundamental reason that cars suck now. Yeah. It's not. They could say we had the idea of making 10,000 AI mufflers that we're going to be out. We only got 8,500 that has to come out. And so the stock goes down. again, I know not, please, everybody listening that actually deals with money, I hear you, I don't know what I'm talking about.
Starting point is 00:45:36 Let's see, recently plunged due to broader auto parts sector sell-off triggered by rumors of industry consolidation. The stock had previously taken a massive hit after reporting disappointing quarterly revenue and shrinking gross margins. I did buy some Walmart whenever Trump's congratulated Walmart in a speech. He was like, yeah, Walmart, prices are going down. And so I bought it just because he said that. Like what it's up. That mountain is climbing. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:46:01 But see, that's crazy. Walmart is a share is $112. And then AutoZone is $3,000. It also could be the amount of shares that's out. That's crazy. One doesn't have to affect the other. It can be the amount of shares. You can be limited shares.
Starting point is 00:46:18 I'm going to buy more Walmart right now. What's O'Reilly at? Dude, I don't. What's Pet Boys at? What are the? I don't even know if they're publicly traded companies. How's your Steve Madden doing? I have that in a different account.
Starting point is 00:46:34 Oh. And I have no idea. That's your longest running stock, right? Because that's the first one you ever bought way, way, way, way, way, way, way back. I wonder, I can look. I wonder if I can even log in that one. Because, oh. I'm going to buy some more.
Starting point is 00:46:54 What are you going to say? I might override my accountant. No, no. If you're going to do stuff like this, don't spend a bunch. I don't spend a bunch. Yeah, I know. Just pretend you're doing it. No, no, no, I can't do that.
Starting point is 00:47:05 Okay, no. You can spend $50, dude. I've tried pretending like on Draft Kings. I'm like, oh, let me pretend I put $100 on this game. And then I win it, I'm like, oh, no, that sucks. You can't pretend. I can't pretend that's dumb. Well, no, there are, like, dopamine sites.
Starting point is 00:47:16 Like, I saw in Asia somewhere. I can't remember where, but there are these dopamine websites where it lets you, like, place an order all the way through to where you even get confirmation, but you're not really ordering anything. That's terrible. But it gives you all the same endorphins or dopamine hit or whatever it is that you're thrilled that you get. I need the money. Yeah, but you also are risking money when you do that stuff.
Starting point is 00:47:41 I know, and that hurts. You can do $10 on a Robin Hood account. That's what I'm saying. We don't advertise for Robin Hood. Everybody. No, you could use Acorn. Is that a thing? It's another one.
Starting point is 00:47:51 I just have that. I was just trying to throw out another one just so that. But do $10. Every week we can all put $10 in something. I need to start doing that. So what are we doing to that? draft kings. Really?
Starting point is 00:48:01 For you because you know, World Cup is been doing. For you because you lose a lot. Me, I enjoy my Drive Kings. And I don't, you know, you don't do it to where you lose so much. It makes your life miserable.
Starting point is 00:48:13 No, no, no, no. But you should do one to one. Because Drive Kings, it doesn't make games that you don't care about even better. I know. Yeah. Every day, and every day there's a game. I love college football in draft Kings.
Starting point is 00:48:22 That's what I love at. O'Reilly Automotives at $85. See, the difference is crazy. Yeah. Wow. They're doing something right at Petball at AutoZone. I would say by one share of Walmart today. Well, that's $112.
Starting point is 00:48:40 You can also do $10. You don't have to do a share. With Robin Hood, you can do partial shares. But you have to do it. What I've learned is in the market time. Like if you have to 5 p.m., the market's closed apparently. They turn the sign around to closed. Oh, yeah, they ring a bell.
Starting point is 00:48:54 Yeah. I used to record that at the news station. My friend Luke went and rang that bell one time. I don't know why. something with his business, I guess. That was my job in the news. First one. Hey, Ray.
Starting point is 00:49:04 Yolo. I was going to tell you this. Salkuity. Salkuity is up $90. I made $92 on that since you said buy it. Yeah. I needed him on this. That was your guy at the bar, right?
Starting point is 00:49:17 Mm-hmm. So that's the kind of crap I buy though, guys. I don't talk to anyone. But yeah, C-E-L-C-C-C-C-E-E-L-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-1-11-11. and 99 cents a share. And when Ray said, buy it, I bought some of it. And I'm up $90 on that one. Just so you know, I'm not lying.
Starting point is 00:49:36 Why is Apple down? And then Trump posts when he buys? No, but a company, like they, everything has to be public. Okay. Okay. I got one other thing. I was waiting to see if the gold guy called me back, John. We have an anonymous spill the tea.
Starting point is 00:49:57 Is it a clip? Yep. Go ahead. Morgan is trying to find dudes to hook up with. I caught her coming out of the men's bathroom. She didn't see me. And I saw her. So she sees a homeless guy downstairs doing things.
Starting point is 00:50:14 Now she's going into the men's bathroom, trying to find dudes. Something's going on with Morgan. But she needs to stay out of the men's bathroom. Something needs to be done. So Morgan did see a... We don't know if he's homeless or possibly could have been homeless. Yeah, I think so. Like whacking it on the street corner yesterday, which we're talking about.
Starting point is 00:50:33 And then someone sees her coming out of the men's bathroom, claiming that she's in there looking for dudes. Someone? It's anonymous. Okay. Morgan, why are you in the men's bathroom? Because the women's restroom was closed for like three hours and I was about to be my pants. Fair enough.
Starting point is 00:50:48 Do you yell, I'm coming in? Yeah, nobody was in there. And I was like, hey, in lunch. Did she have somebody blocked the door? Lunchbox, Mike D and Ray were all outside of it waiting for me to stop going to the bathroom. See, but when I was, walked up, they were all outside. I'm like, what are we doing? They're like, oh, Morgan's using the restaurant. I'm like, she's in our room, boys.
Starting point is 00:51:03 We can go in there. They didn't listen to me. But did you go in? No, I waited. Exactly. I didn't want to be the only one. So who did that? Probably lunchbox. The guy that told you to use it? Yeah. He was like, yeah, go ahead. I'll wait. I'll guard it for you. Morgan. I'm also surprised he didn't send Eddie in.
Starting point is 00:51:22 Like, what are you guys doing? Oh, nothing. We're just talking. Go on in. No, he did tell me, like, what did you say lunchbox? Like, where's your phone? Where's your phone? get a picture more she's in the men's bathroom I did I said get a video but then I guess you did audio so oh so Eddie is the one who did oh I did audio that's not me dude I will not say who did it so I don't
Starting point is 00:51:43 because I don't know I don't know but it doesn't matter I have my integrity so I don't want to tell on who it was but that's why you're in the bathroom yeah I mean there's no other dudes in there that I'm aware of how is it compared to the women's It was surprisingly clean
Starting point is 00:51:59 Yeah, they do a good job here They do a good job You know somebody made a good point yesterday Somebody else that works in the building They were like We only have two urinals but three sinks We should have three urinals Well yeah
Starting point is 00:52:11 When you do that math It just seems like It's not sink to urinal I think it's synced to toilet It just seems like we're always waiting for a urinal But then there's a plethora of sinks Hey Scuba is the National Sales guy here Yeah they're in the conference room
Starting point is 00:52:24 Are they waiting for me now? Yeah Okay so we'll take a break We'll finish the rest If you're listening to this live, it'll just roll on after this break. But, okay, let's take a break. If you learned anything new about the Taylor Swift wedding in the past 24 hours? The advice that Adam Sandler gave them.
Starting point is 00:52:39 Oh, that's good. That was wholesome. K-K. Which was? Keep kissing. Yeah, keep kissing. I like that. Anything else?
Starting point is 00:52:47 No. It can be no. I mean, there was, like, people upset about some guy that was on the invite list, and they were really mad. He was there with his wife because he was. owns like an ICE attention center or something. Oh, I didn't see that. Yeah, that ain't cool.
Starting point is 00:53:04 Yeah. I don't like that. You can own one of those? Or, he... Oh, it's like a prison, I guess. Everything's private. Yeah. A couple things.
Starting point is 00:53:13 One was Will Compton, Pets Bussing with the boys, the podcast. Lives here. Met him. Nice guy. He was like, I didn't get invited. And he was kind of shocked he didn't get invited because, like, everybody got invited, right?
Starting point is 00:53:27 And he's with Travis's friend and he's when they do Tide-in University here. He's there. Oh yeah, that's weird. What did it, did his invite get lost? Theory. He's just a theory. It's a big Trump supporter. I wonder if that affected it.
Starting point is 00:53:48 Well. I know the guy had an ICE attention center. If that guy was really there, I don't know. Some reports I'm seeing like, I saw, did Carly Clause like fake her invite? I think she went because I saw her. That's what I thought too. They're old friends and then apparently they fought, but then I saw that she was there. But then I saw reports that she was just acting.
Starting point is 00:54:07 Like some people, I guess, if you got dressed up and were in a nice car stepping out of it, it was like you just assumed they're going to Taylor's wedding. Mike, would you see if she was officially there? Because I believe she was. Yeah. Like Blake lively obviously didn't get the invite. Yeah, but you know what I thought about? Oprah wasn't there.
Starting point is 00:54:26 Yeah, there were a few of those. Which is weird. But I guess maybe she's just not part of that. But she's Oprah. Did you see this story about, because it was a big buffet and everybody was like standing up eating because it was nowhere to sit? Oh, no. I don't know how true that was. TMZ had it.
Starting point is 00:54:41 Also, everybody needs to get off them. It's their wedding. They can do whatever they want. If there are no chairs in the whole place, it's their wedding. They're having a chairless wedding. Like, I'm happy that it was an awesome event. It was a chairless wedding? No, I'm saying if it was, that's their choice.
Starting point is 00:54:55 but some people they say we're at the buffet and they couldn't sit down. But like Madison Square Garden, isn't that? Like built in seats? Yeah, but I think they built a whole forest. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. But then also that means you get your plate and you go back to your little concert seat. You go to Section 42? No, that's really what it was.
Starting point is 00:55:11 Yeah. The other thing was that they had the really famous people separated from the kind of famous people. No way. Oh, wow. Uh-oh. So it was like even... I think that made the news. I told you guys, I know six people who went, and only one of them will give me any details at all.
Starting point is 00:55:32 And I can't say which one that is, because they will get in trouble. But you got details? Not a lot. I got enough. Did they win a raffle? No, but they gave away in the raffle, Cartier watches. They gave away that car, that muscle car. Oh, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:48 Oh, the one from their first date? No, I think they made this one, unless it was a... Oh, it was a... Okay, so they replicated it. the one they went on their first date. I think so. I could be wrong, but I think that was a newer version of the car they went in their first date with, unless it was the exact same one that they redid. I don't know. I don't know. I just wish people would get off their back. That's really what I wish, because they had an awesome wedding. They had it the way they wanted to have it. People were
Starting point is 00:56:12 giving them crap because there's a full film crew there. Who cares? Who cares if she shot it for Disney Plus or a documentary? I mean, we had wedding photographers there. Everyone does. Yeah. This is different. I just want people to leave them alone about that stuff because I have a firm belief that if it's your wedding you can do whatever you want and everybody else can kick rocks. So I do think they're the people that keep
Starting point is 00:56:36 posting about it every day. Like I was there, I was there. They're the people that didn't know her that well. The people that knew her, like good friends with her, probably posted once or none at all. But leave them alone. So was James Taylor the guy that didn't go? Did you see that? Yes. I see fire. I see rain.
Starting point is 00:56:54 Yeah, he couldn't go. Why? I've seen... Concert. Yeah. Oh, that's the guy. Okay. So at their July 3rd wedding in New York, they raffled off a vintage 1970s Chevrolet Chevelle.
Starting point is 00:57:07 The muscle car was a sentimental nod to their relationship being the exact same make and model they had on their first date. So not the exact same car, but it's cool. That's awesome. So I just like to say, everybody, leave them alone. It's their wedding. If it was a nudist wedding. Okay. It's their wedding.
Starting point is 00:57:25 It just doesn't matter. But I understand what people are posting about it, these news sites, because people click. People are interested in it. Oh, yeah. So that's all. I didn't know what you'd seen. Yeah. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:57:36 If they stream it, you guys watching? Nah. Oh, I'll check it out. It's not so much about them. I didn't even watch Hamilton streamed. You didn't? No. Everyone did.
Starting point is 00:57:47 Like anything like that? I didn't even watch that. Dude, that was awesome. At what age? I saw it live. I did see it live. Oh, that's true. Because my daughter's 19 and I was talking to her about it and she does not care one single bit.
Starting point is 00:57:59 It's not even in her algorithm. And I'm like, you're not seeing all this stuff? She's like, no, we don't care. You know what's... And so I'm like, what age did it stop? Because she used to like Taylor Swift. She's gone to concerts. What's interesting is we're getting older and so is she and so are her fans for the most part.
Starting point is 00:58:16 That I think you don't have... You'll have some young kids that are there because maybe their moms are fans or... But everybody's getting, even our, we used to do the show. We used to be cool. For those listening, you'll never believe this. We were never cool because we were like hip. We were cool because we were just kind of young and didn't give a crap. Now we're not kind of young and we don't give a crap.
Starting point is 00:58:37 But we're not that cool anymore. And our listeners have grown with us in age where it'd be like mostly 25-year-olds going, massive fan of the show. Now if I meet a 25-year-old, it's my mom loves your show. Yeah, yeah. So I think her, Amy's going, yeah. I know, it hurts. I think her age of her audience is getting older too, obviously.
Starting point is 00:58:58 But she keeps putting out bangers. So that's also a thing. You keep putting out bangers. Look at Maroon 5. They're 107, so putting out poppets for 12-year-olds. Like, that works. So leave them alone, is what I say. I'm in the camp of it.
Starting point is 00:59:13 It does not matter what you want to do at your wedding. If nobody's getting hurt, you do it, and everybody else can just kick her. There are some businesses around the area where they had to shut down roads. it's in New York that it's Fourth of July weekend. It's normally like a big sales weekend for them and it really impacted their sales. Oh, that's tough. So I don't know how accurate that is because I do think people are just searching for negative headlines against them, which I don't like. And also, I would think that they were smart enough.
Starting point is 00:59:39 And I know Taylor's PR person relatively. To like pay those companies? I would say middle well. I know Tree middle well. She used to work for record label here. If I see her, she used to work for the board of ACM lifting live. She still might. and I used to be a part of that and donate to that.
Starting point is 00:59:53 So I know her. She's really, really nice. And I think she's so smart that they'd have been ahead of that to go, okay, if they're businesses, we'll break them off $500,000. But I still think people are just looking for negative headlines. I ain't standing for it. I ain't standing for it. So love, everybody just love.
Starting point is 01:00:13 A couple calls. This is Diana who's listening right now in Texas. Hey, Diana. Good morning. Good morning. What's up? How are you? Nothing.
Starting point is 01:00:24 I just wanted to call in and say that, you know, how much I appreciate what you do on Tuesday given. You know, it means so much. It's so hard. It just, you know, fills my heart with warmth, you know, because so many people are so selfish and I hate that. But I understand where lunchbox is coming from. I do. But, you know, there's a bad apple everywhere. Okay.
Starting point is 01:00:48 I hated that you found somebody that didn't appreciate or didn't do what they were supposed to do with the money. And that's on them. You know, karma comes back. But I just want to say, it's awesome. I love it. Well, thank you. One day we will meet. I just feel it.
Starting point is 01:01:07 Me and you? You know? Yeah. I just feel like, you know, if you're ever around Texas, you know. I'm around Texas a lot. Like, Austin's like my place. She's manifesting it. What's her address?
Starting point is 01:01:22 Sometimes though it's like, one day we're going to meet. It did take quite the kind of a pivot to that. Leave wrong for just a second. We were earlier I do giving Tuesday on Tuesdays where I go into my DMs and just try to help people out. Either Venmo or cash out them some money for whatever the case. And usually on Tuesdays lunchbox gets upset because he's going, they can afford that. Why are you helping them? Basically, it's become a whole song and dance.
Starting point is 01:01:44 It's a who's on first, but it's not really set up in any way. So we did that. You can go back and listen on the podcast there. I hope I do it next week. You don't know yet? Well, because I mentioned earlier that I know that I helped somebody out in a way and I know they didn't use the money for that. Right.
Starting point is 01:02:04 And I told you that's just sort of the giving tax. I know. That's the bad apple she's talking about. You just, you know. I know. But Lunchbox is like, he thinks it's funny when that happens. Yeah. I'm learning a lesson.
Starting point is 01:02:14 It proves a point that I've been trying to tell you. You have no idea what they're using it for. You're right. Don't. Right. So you're just giving money to people without doing any research. I can't do research. You're right.
Starting point is 01:02:24 Right. It'd be smart to have your team. So what should I do? My team. So you do it, you guys are you going to call them? No, that's what Mike D's here for. And he does the research.
Starting point is 01:02:34 Mike, he's my full team. Okay. He needs to verify that that's where the funds are going or else you're just going to get scammed. And people are just going to hit you up for stupid reasons. If I give to 10 people and nine of them use it and it can help them and one screws me over, I'm okay with that.
Starting point is 01:02:48 You're right. Yeah. It's... I do believe the leg braces I bought for the girl. If she really didn't need leg braces and the parents were using that as a way just to get money from me, that's okay and they're going to hell. So that's something that... Yeah, that is quite the story. Yeah, so I'm up for it. Diana, thank you so much for calling. Thank you for listening. You bet. Uh-huh. Thanks. Bye.
Starting point is 01:03:12 I'll go to Michael in Ohio who is listening. Hey, Michael, you're on the show. Yeah, I'm here. How's it going, Bobby? What's up, buddy? Oh, not much. You know, just, you know, listening to the show as I'm driving. I appreciate that. You told the call in. So I was like, you know, I've been listening to you for a long time.
Starting point is 01:03:30 You know, I heard you guys talking about how long you've been on and, you know, your listeners being older. You know, I have a couple kids of my own. They're very young. I mean, I'm only 30 myself. But, you know, I've been listening to you since I was in high school. So it's like, yeah, I can agree, you know. I appreciate that. My kids will eventually, I'll eventually tell my kids about your show also.
Starting point is 01:03:47 And they'll go, dad, they're lame. Dad, we're not listening to that. Dad, they're stupid and lame. Yeah, I appreciate that. Anything else we're talking about? You want to put some input on? I heard you guys talking about the Taylor Swift wedding. I mean, a lot of blowback from that, you know, and that's ridiculous because, I mean, you know, they got married and, like, you know, be happy about it.
Starting point is 01:04:07 Be, you know, be cool about it. I mean, there's a lot of people that were upset that my wife and I didn't invite people to our wedding, but we wanted it small. And we had it in the backyard of my parents ranch. So like, you know, for people to, to, you know, be mad and, you know, be angry at weddings and stuff. It's just ridiculous to me because it's like, be happy, you know, be happy for those two people and, you know, just enjoy it and, like, help them, you know, be happy with them. But people always be angry and be crazy. So that's the dumb thing about this world now. Amen, brother.
Starting point is 01:04:43 And like it says in the back of all of our $5 bill. those famous words screw them it's on the five it's on the five not on them one all right Michael thank you
Starting point is 01:04:54 all right that's a wrap I have John Stamos on the Bobbycast Amy what is your podcast about today don't look at your notes don't look at your notes oh my gosh
Starting point is 01:05:02 okay I won't look at my notes oh we go over three signs you're annoying and nobody wants to tell you oh that's crazy we talk about a lot of other things but those are
Starting point is 01:05:13 I'd have like 20 on me well and the thing is Kat and I were like, shoot, we kind of do all three of these as well. So, like, don't feel alone if you do them. It's just more of self-awareness is key because that way you can stop doing it if you do it. I agree. No one's more aware than me about me. I have 100% self-awareness. I think I told that to Kate. You did. Can Caitlin told me you said that. Yeah. Caitlin's like, no, he doesn't. No, he doesn't. I have a 100% self-awareness. Okay.
Starting point is 01:05:47 Which isn't annoying to say at all. Hey, you should listen to this podcast, dude. Check it out. Feeling things, do they mean? It might be annoying, but it is true. And that's annoying. That's also annoying? Exactly.
