Starting point is 00:03:04 Today is a big day. Amy, you owe us. What? Today, March 1st. Oh, yeah. Is the day that we hoped you would update us on the mystery package that showed up at your house. Come on. Now, for our listeners that may be new or missed the segment over the past year, a long time ago, Amy said, off the air to me, this showed up in my house.
Starting point is 00:03:28 And I was like, she was well, showed up in your mailbox that was sent. Yeah, like, we have a UPS mail. Like an address where we have everything sent to you, not your house. Right. But in the mailbox was something very suspicious. So we were going to talk about it on the air. And last minute, one of us said we probably shouldn't do that. Maybe it was you or maybe it was both of us going, you might die.
Starting point is 00:03:50 Maybe it was, I think it was security guy, Tim. Oh, he told. Whoa. Don't talk about that. Okay. So that happens a long time ago. We said, well, let's check in in three months or so. We check in, Amy's not ready to go.
Starting point is 00:04:02 We do it again. Amy's not ready to go. We forget about it. about it. A listener then called and said. And that's why I remember today, to be honest with you. Okay. Well, I think the listener called in and you told Mike D to put it in the calendar. And now I remember.
Starting point is 00:04:13 And I don't think, I don't think I'm, I don't think I'm ready yet. Are you getting closer to being ready? I think I'm, like, the distance from it helps because it makes me feel like it wasn't real now. Because the further way you get from it, you're like, okay, but what are the, what are the odds someone would ever hear it? And then come back and retaliate. Can you give us a little hint? Just something. because we've been sitting here for
Starting point is 00:04:35 Hmm I mean I'm probably overthinking it and playing out Like if I were to talk about it It would be like in a movie And then I guess I could use the word retaliation What? But like so I don't want to risk that Who knows what it was?
Starting point is 00:04:50 Who knows? I know so I'm asking some of these questions You know I do know Mike do you know? He has an idea Do you guys have an idea? Don't confirm or deny anything Amy Go ahead
Starting point is 00:05:00 I'll tell you what I I mean I'm thinking what's that movie seven? Something was in the box. Something was. What's in the box? Something was sent to Amy. And she was like, oh no.
Starting point is 00:05:15 And then we were going to talk about it as a segment. She was like, can you believe this? Dup-da-d-du-du-du-du-du-d-d-du. And then our security guy was like, do not talk about that on the air. Oh, wow. You may die. So you're going with like human head? A finger.
Starting point is 00:05:30 It's. What? No, that's not what do you mean? I'm not saying anything because I don't want to blow up Amy's spot at all. Lunchbox. Well, see, I had body part because that's the only thing I could think of. When she says retaliation, it's like them sending a message like, see this? This was what will happen to you.
Starting point is 00:05:46 But I don't know what for. Like, I don't understand why they would put that body part in the mailbox. So I can't. Well, I wasn't supposed to get this. Or, or. I don't think I was. I think it was put in my mailbox by actually. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:06:04 Really? Yeah. You probably forgot that detail because it's been a long time. But yeah, it wasn't like my name on the box. Okay. I mean, I think it might have been. Okay, so you're not going to tell us today. Mike.
Starting point is 00:06:18 Yeah, Mike, June 1st. We're coming back. April, May, June. So three more. That would be, I think, almost a year would have passed. You're committing right now. No, I'm not committing. I'm not committing.
Starting point is 00:06:28 What's the top three list of what we think it is? Okay, so finger. Can we put finger in there? And you can all guess the same thing, but if you get it right, I'll give 50 bucks on June 1st if she says it. So you can guess the same thing. But what if I never say it? Then nobody wins money and I'm actually okay with that. Okay, but I just don't want to be annoying.
Starting point is 00:06:43 I don't want to be annoying. It's your life. Okay. Go ahead. It's my life. I want to live. I'm going with the finger. A finger.
Starting point is 00:06:50 And if you keep this up, Amy, this will be your finger next. Okay. I know it. What? It's a batch of stolen credit cards. It was like a box, like they were trying to give them to somebody like, hey, man, go out. Like bought on the black market or something like that? Or what do you call it?
Starting point is 00:07:04 Dark web? Yeah. And so it's like, you know, hundreds of stolen credit cards. Okay. Ray, I haven't narrowed down to an artifact. I just don't know exactly what I'm going to say. Maybe a watch is really what I'm leaning towards. So I'm going to say a very expensive watch.
Starting point is 00:07:21 Morgan, any guesses? You've heard the story for a year now? Yeah. I mean, maybe like a piece of a murder, like a body part, like something that would giveaway DNA. So Eddie says a finger. Yeah, I'm saying like maybe some hair. Hair?
Starting point is 00:07:39 Like a lot of hair? Like a, yeah, something DNA. I'm thinking like that could reveal like somebody a part of a murder. I kind of like her theory, like saying, hey, like maybe they meant to send it to the police station like, hey, test this and it'll lead you to the killer. But that wouldn't be a, okay. All right, Morgan goes with hair. I mean. It's a guess, right?
Starting point is 00:07:59 The watch, I don't understand. Why, a lot. Hey, Scoob, Steve, you're a wildly smart guy? Yes. He says yes. Yes, I am, yes. What you think? I'm going drugs, for sure.
Starting point is 00:08:15 Like, that's used a lot. It's like, not like, not something that's legal in certain states. Drugs that's flat out illegal no matter where in the United States. Like hardcore drugs. Hardcore drugs, yeah. I'm thinking something from Mexico. Drugs is good. Wow, that's not bad.
Starting point is 00:08:28 Drugs is good. Credit cards is good. Whoever said credit cards. That's me. Did somebody say gun? I said gun just... Man, that's a good one too. Because I think
Starting point is 00:08:36 like they were trying to ship weapons, like arms dealers. Finger, pretty good. Pretty good, huh? Hair's terrible. What about what? Well, it could be something like old and illegal. Like old stolen, like stolen. I didn't get to specifically say what I was thinking.
Starting point is 00:08:52 So there would be a date that was in a future date and then a time on it as well. So something that she needs to be looking forward towards. There sounds like a Nicholas Cage movie. Okay. The Constitution. National Treasure. What?
Starting point is 00:09:06 We'll check back in June 1st. I could tell today she was cracking a little bit, so I know we're getting somewhere. Come on, Amy. Some good guesses, though, guys. Thank you. I will say that, some really good guesses. You send an email and we read it on the air. It's something we call Bobby's Mailback.
Starting point is 00:09:24 Yeah. Hello, Bobby Bones. I wanted to get your opinion on a disagreement in our house. My husband and I have two kids, and we decide. we were to and through. Our original agreement was, since I birthed them, he would get a vasectomy. This was agreed by both of us, and we decided he would do it after the birth of our youngest. However, towards the end of my pregnancy, I made the decision to get my tubes tied during my C-section because the doctor was already there, so why not? Well, now, our youngest is 20 months, and my husband is backed out of his vasectomy.
Starting point is 00:09:54 His reasoning is because I made one comment jokingly about neither one of us having more kids if we ever divorced. I think he's just being dramatic and a deal's a deal, right? Do you think he should still get the vasectomy? Thanks, Kara. It's interesting because he did say it, but I would assume he said it so you wouldn't have more kids. And then once you had the procedure to get your tubes tied, that kind of tied up that knot, no pun,
Starting point is 00:10:18 on we're not having more kids. It kind of checked that box. So I would feel like if I was the guy, the deal was I'm going to do it so we don't have more kids. kids, but since you're already doing that and we can't have more kids, why would I do it? So yes, he is backing out of it technically, but if I were a judge citing with reason, I would say he's in the clear because the only purpose of him getting it was so you wouldn't have more kids.
Starting point is 00:10:49 And also, I'm a dude. So I'm the judge and I'm going to always side on the dudes, dudes. That's especially when it comes to this. Yeah, so a little unfair, but I think that. The reason they made the agreement was to not have more kids, and now they're not. Why should they have to do it just for pain? Is it painful? Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:07 My neighbor did it, and he had a bag of ice for like three days. Okay, that's why guys get it done during March Madness. Right. Okay. I got it done last season. And I got it reversed right after. I just want to stay home. That's the thing.
Starting point is 00:11:18 You can get it reversed. So, like, if he did. You can also get your tubes untied. Oh. I really didn't. By the way, new listeners, I did not get my. You didn't get besiected? I didn't get bisected.
Starting point is 00:11:28 I think she kind of, you know, when she decided to get it done, it's like she knew it was going to happen to her. She kind of made that agreement shift. Like, I know they had an agreement, but then she decided to do that, and I feel like that changed the agreement. I do too. Because she could have just not done it and been like,
Starting point is 00:11:49 oh, yeah, no, you said you would do it, so I'm good. And he would have had to. Yes, he would have had to. Right. So tough. Yeah, it's hard, but. You could still enforce it. technically, but I feel like the deal was made so you wouldn't have kids and she already did that.
Starting point is 00:12:02 He owes you something, though. I don't know what it is. Any suggestions? He owes you something. I don't know what she likes. So no, no suggestions. But I'm going to side with him and that it's done. So I don't think he should have to get it just because you want to see him be suffer.
Starting point is 00:12:19 Punished. Right. Yeah. So I'm siding with him. Amy sides with him. Yeah, if you want to put it that way. Oh, I side with him. Absolutely.
Starting point is 00:12:27 All right. There we have it. It's a... What do you call it? Unanimous. Unanimous decision. All right, thank you. That's the mailbag.
Starting point is 00:12:34 Morgan, if they want to send us an email, what do they do? Mailbag at bobbybones.com. We've got your email and we let it on your air. Now it's about to close Bobby's mailbag. Yeah. Lunchbox usually brings in the audio. It's one of his jobs. Go out on the streets and take some of out there and bring it in here.
Starting point is 00:12:53 Eddie brought some audio in this time. Now he's trying to take my job? Well, it's about you. Yeah, man, I didn't want to leave you out of it. Oh, great. So, everyone, brace yourself. Eddie, what did you? What, do you already know what it is?
Starting point is 00:13:05 No, I don't know. That's what I'm like, what did Eddie do? It's all scary, right? I'm like, what did he, like, where is this? They're like Jim Dwight. Oh, in the office? Yeah. Eddie, what did you bring us?
Starting point is 00:13:16 Look, man, you're sitting here and you hear Lunchbox doing something that he always does. And I always like the audio to kind of serve as evidence. This is Lunchbox, again, treating someone on the phone badly. It's customer service. I don't know exactly who he was on the phone with, but he's talking to customer service, and he's just treating him like crap. Who'd you call customer service-wise yesterday or day before? I called my credit card company.
Starting point is 00:13:38 There we go. That's it. What they do to you? I couldn't get my credit card to work. It kept saying, denied, denied, like, and I was like, well, what's going on? How did you record this? Well, he was right in front of his mic, so I just said, Ray, roll on this. So Ray helped you?
Starting point is 00:13:52 Yes. Okay, let's hear. I haven't heard it. I don't know if you're going to be. I don't know if I don't know if I sounded bad. So I don't know what this is going to say. Is this legal? No.
Starting point is 00:14:01 Yeah. Okay, here we go. You're in a radio studio. Of course it's legal. Here is Lunchbox recorded talking to us credit card company. Yeah, having a great day. I mean, my credit card won't work. Some of you guys did on your end.
Starting point is 00:14:14 I've been using this credit card. I mean, same website. And all of a sudden, now it doesn't want to work. I mean, I don't know what you guys, what button you hit. Are you saying I'm a fraud? Like, yeah, I understand that. I get that. I get it.
Starting point is 00:14:27 Like, it's just very frustrating. I'm just trying to make one little purchase. Yes, I'm trying to buy NFTs and you, I don't know. Okay, good day. Yeah, have a good day. Yeah, yeah. How do you have a good day? Your credit card doesn't work.
Starting point is 00:14:41 You're committing fraud. You called me a fraudster. Okay. Have a good day. Thanks for nothing. I mean, I'll just, whatever. Thanks for nothing. What?
Starting point is 00:14:52 Punchbox. But there's so many levels to that. You should be glad they're, okay, anytime I'm, being accused of some sort of fraud or something going on. I'm like, look at them looking out. Clearly, there's some shady activity. You've probably never bought NFTs before. It is shady to get online and start buying NFTs, which is like, for you.
Starting point is 00:15:10 For those that don't know, it's basically internet art. Sure. And so on your credit card, you started to buy. I've been buying it for like a year. It's like Bitcoin, kind of, right? So if I'm giving it to someone who's not educated in this, which I wasn't until recently. I have a friend who's into it. It's like digital.
Starting point is 00:15:27 currency, digital art. Lunchbox has been buying NFTs for a year. Who believes that? I don't know. I mean, you can look at my account. What did the people say it's a credit card company? Oh, yeah, I don't know why it's not going through. I mean, that was their answer.
Starting point is 00:15:41 Have a good howdy day. And they're like, but thank you for calling, have a great day. No, no, no, no. You didn't help me with anything. So how am I going to have a good day? Because what I'm still trying to purchase won't go through because you don't know what you did. And when she said fraud, I thought she was calling me a fraud. She was just saying it to you
Starting point is 00:15:57 She's like I think this is fraud So how did you prove it was a fraud? So now you're calling me a fraud Because I was like, why would you think I'm frauding my own credit card? How would, how did this get fixed? I haven't got it fixed yet. So you still can't buy your NFTs? No, I can't buy my NFTs What were you trying to buy?
Starting point is 00:16:14 I was trying to buy NBA and NFL NFTs So he's trying to buy plays. Like they have plays recorded? Yes. Like a second and three from 37. You can actually buy that play. own it. Yes.
Starting point is 00:16:27 And then I try to flip them. Like, I'm a dealer. So I get them and then I put them on sale immediately and sell them for a profit. But for some reason, all of a sudden, my credit card doesn't work. And I didn't think I sounded that bad. I don't think you sounded as bad as I think Eddie wants us to think. But you weren't that nice. I mean, the lady's obviously trying to help him or whoever the customer.
Starting point is 00:16:46 I mean, it sounded like it. Yeah, she called me a fraud. No, she was probably saying, you know, we maybe thought it was a fraud charge, so we canceled it. And then she didn't fix it. And she was like, have a good day. If she didn't fix it, how do I have a good day? Great point. Is your day good right now?
Starting point is 00:17:02 No. Still sucks, doesn't it? I'm so annoyed. That's right. I'm so annoyed. I'm on your team. I'm annoyed with everybody too. Yeah, but when you're kind, you're more likely to get fixed.
Starting point is 00:17:11 Hey, more flies with honey than vinegar. Amy, she said, I don't know what is wrong. Have a good day. That was the end of the conversation. So it didn't matter if I was nice, mean. At that point, she was going bye-bye. Are she telling the truth? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:17:26 She didn't know what was wrong. She was like, bye, sorry. Isn't that what you say? I say, money's gone, sorry. That's what she was saying to you. Credit card, not working. Sorry. No money, sorry.
Starting point is 00:17:37 Well, I appreciate the effort, Eddie. Yeah, no problem, man. I'm here for you. Lunchbox, I don't think you sounded as bad as Eddie wanted you to sound. Thank you. But I think you could have been a little nicer. What could I have said? She may have helped you, though, and sent you to somebody else.
Starting point is 00:17:48 It's your tone. You can say thank you, ma'am. You have a good day, too. Like, yeah. Can you connect me with someone that could help me? How about I should have said, thank you, ma'am. How about I disconnect your credit card? I would have loved for you to say that.
Starting point is 00:18:00 That'd have been pretty money. That'd have been pretty money. I like that. What do we learn from this call? Don't be a jerk. Okay. We know that. Don't talk on the phone in front of Eddie.
Starting point is 00:18:08 Correct. In front of a mic. Amy? I learned that you could get recorded in here at any time. That's right. And now we've all learned something. Everybody have a good day. The latest from Nashville and Hollywood.
Starting point is 00:18:21 Morgan number two's 30 seconds. The chicks are heading out on a 27 city tour this summer, starting on June 15th in St. Louis, Missouri. They partnered up with the nonprofit reverb to ensure their tour is more environmentally sustainable while engaging their fans. Tickets for the tour go on sale this Friday 10 a.m. local time. Fritos just dropped their first television commercial in 20 years, and Thomas Rett stars in the ad. He plays a game of this or that with a friend. You can see the 30-second commercial on Frito's YouTube page. Luke Colm shared what it was like having his friend Adam Church in his music video for doing this.
Starting point is 00:19:01 It was really, really killer having my buddy Adam be a part of that music video. He helped me out back when I didn't have anything going on. I'm Morgan number two. That's your skinny. It's time for the good news. With producer Eddie. Yeah, I'll make something good. Amber Higgins from New Mexico was about 24 weeks pregnant.
Starting point is 00:19:22 when the doctor says, oh my gosh, I see something that we really need to speed up this delivery. So she went into an emergency delivery and the baby was born and it weighed less than three quarters of a pound, which is. Wow. I mean, think about how small that is. So the doctor said, oh, bad news. I mean, it's only going to be a 30% chance that this baby can survive. I mean, they did everything they could. Fast forward.
Starting point is 00:19:44 This week, the baby is one year's old, healthy as can be. And I mean, she just went through a lot during that time. And now everything's okay. Have I heard of a baby being born that small? I mean, look at your hand. That's probably the size of the baby, smaller than that. I'm surprised that 30% was, that sounds optimistic. They dealt with so many things like, I don't know if we have breathing tubes that's small.
Starting point is 00:20:10 Wow, yeah. But they dealt with all that kind of stuff, but they figured it out. So props to the hospital for doing that, and unbelievable, that baby is great. That is a great story. That is what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good. It's time to play the few. America's favorite breakfast cereals.
Starting point is 00:20:28 Yes. Ten answers are on the board. Amy, we rolled the dice backstage. You won. How many can you name? Ten most popular American breakfast cereals. What you got? Cheerios.
Starting point is 00:20:45 Are you two? Cheerios. That's good. It's got to be on there. Cheerios. Cheerios. Cheerios. There's honey nut Cheerios.
Starting point is 00:20:50 There's plain Cheerios. Heart healthy Cheerios. Just so, show me. Cheerios. Honey Nut Cheerios. That is a close one. Oh, it's not. I was like, look at a close one. Regular Cheerios are disgusting and dry. You have to put sugar on them and they go to the bottom of the bowl and you get it.
Starting point is 00:21:05 What number? Three. Okay. Okay. This one is so good and the commercials are cute. Honey bunches of oats. Oh my God. This is not Amy's category.
Starting point is 00:21:16 Honey bunches of oats. Show me honey bunches of oats. Oh, great. It's all the sugary crap. I didn't make the list. She's on Lucky Charms. And you know you meant regular Cheerios too. She picked a bunch of votes. It shows that she meant regular Cheerios.
Starting point is 00:21:29 I'm kidding. I just didn't know which direction this was going. I mean, grape nuts? Lunchbox. Lucky Charms. Show me Lucky Charms. That's number four. You got yourself four points there, buddy. Dang.
Starting point is 00:21:45 You ready again? Cinnamon toast crunch. Show me CTC. That is your number one answer. Why am I so lame? I don't know why you're lame because you know what they are. They're great. Frosted flakes.
Starting point is 00:21:58 Show me Frosted Flakes. Number two, answer. Okay. Now you're in trouble? Yeah, now I'm in trouble. Lunchbox has seven points right now. You walk down the aisle. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:13 And you look at the... Oh, my goodness. What do you get next? Give me... Give me the... Rudy Pebble! Down there at number nine. Show me fruity pebbles.
Starting point is 00:22:27 Number five. Five ants are still on the board. Cinnamon toast crunch, frosted flakes, honeynut Cheerios, Lucky charms, and fruity pebbles. All in that order, one to five. Yeah, and then you walk down that aisle, and what do you see? Oh, I see Golden Grams looking at me. Show me golden grams.
Starting point is 00:22:52 Oh. That's not that wrong. No, I didn't. Big points still left on the board, Eddie. Come on, man. Five answers remaining. Did he say fruit loops? Fruit loops has not been said.
Starting point is 00:23:04 Then give me the fruit loops. Sheldman, fruit loops. Tukans Sam, baby. Number seven, it's seven points, buddy. Okay. Also, like the fruit loops, apple jacks. Same shape. Apple jacks.
Starting point is 00:23:19 Interesting. I haven't thought about Apple jacks in a long time. A long time. Do people talk about it all the time? because they're America's favorite. Everywhere you go, people like, hey, how's your Apple Jacks today? Show me Apple Jacks.
Starting point is 00:23:31 Yeah! What? Number nine. I am shocked. Let's go. Number nine. Now I'm in trouble. There are three answers left on the board,
Starting point is 00:23:41 six, eight, and ten, so still a lot of points to be had. A lot of game to be played. Okay. Let's go with the chocolate side of cereal and give me cocoa pups. It's just which chocolate one is on there. That was the hard part. That's why I didn't go there. Eddie says Coco Puffs.
Starting point is 00:24:02 Coco Puffs. I feel it. Show me Coco Puffs. Yeah. At number 10. It's good. Wow. How many are left?
Starting point is 00:24:13 Two left. Okay. Let's stay with chocolate. Give me the cookie crisps. Show the guy, cookie crisp. Oh, no. Oh, no. Back in.
Starting point is 00:24:26 All right, Amy, you're back in. Okay, I'm debating between a few. I should just go with whatever opposite that first comes into my head. What about Captain Crunch? Oh, gosh, it's so good, Amy. Are you asking me a question or are you saying that as your answer? Has it? That's a serial, yes.
Starting point is 00:24:44 Captain Crunch. Show our Captain Crunch. Wow. What was that? Number six. Okay. There's one more answer on the board. One more?
Starting point is 00:24:53 Oh, I don't know how to choose. Okay, I'm debating. I'll go with Rice Krispies. Dang it, that was what I had. That's so good. Snap, crackle pop. Show her. Rice Krispies.
Starting point is 00:25:09 Oh, boom. Shocked, Amy. Lunchbox? Well, I had Rice Krispies as my last and final guest. That was it. So, follow me. Walk down the aisle. I'm walking down the aisle.
Starting point is 00:25:21 What do you see? What do I see looking at me? I see that. box, but that's not on there. Like, crackling oat brand, not going to be on there. Raisin brand, I love it. Not going to be on there. Whoa, don't, don't, you got to let it get
Starting point is 00:25:35 soggy. Let it soak in the milk. But, guys, you walk down and you see something, and you like it. It has a little bee on there. And he wanted to climb in there. Wait, what is it? And get caught in the honeycombs. Honeycombs. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:25:49 Honeycombs. Show me honeycooms. Dang it. All right, Eddie, I don't want to be confident. guesser here. Go ahead. Man, he went by it and he said he liked it, and I think most Americas like it, but you also went, ugh. I think it's got to be on there.
Starting point is 00:26:05 Are you telling me he sold me on my... I feel like he sold you on the... Dang! Bones, for the win, give me Raisin Brand. Is it Razenbrand? Let's go. Oh, no. Okay, you guys get one guess left. Try to get the final one. We've got to move quickly here. Third round's always a speed round. Amy.
Starting point is 00:26:21 Life. Is it life? Lunchbox. Count Chocula Cancchocula Frankenberry Those are good I couldn't think of anything
Starting point is 00:26:37 Eddie last one Okay last one We said frosted flakes Give me corn flakes That's not Wow Is it weedies No
Starting point is 00:26:44 What in the world The one answer that you did not get Is Reese's puffs That is the number eight answer I never had it Our winner with 26 points is Eddie What? Yeah look at this guy
Starting point is 00:26:55 Big winner today Wow Man, if I had got Reese's puff, I'd have won. Man, Reese's Puffs is like, that's pretty recent. That must be a new school. Yeah, that's not our school. We didn't just go, hey, who's old school? And then ask them the question.
Starting point is 00:27:09 True. Nice job, Eddie. Thank you, man. You won the feud. On the phone is Cassandra, who lives in Missouri. Cassandra, thank you for calling the show. What's going on? So, long story short, I caught my neck cross-distort neighbor.
Starting point is 00:27:26 cheating actually on his wife. And I now, twice, actually. I now see his wife everywhere. And the first time I caught him, he actually confronted me and asked if we had an issue. And I was like, look, dude, not my issue, like not my circus, not my monkeys, not my problem. And then yesterday, I came up. home from work, check my mail, and there was an envelope in my mailbox, nothing on it, open it up, and there's just a big question mark. Do you do either related? I don't
Starting point is 00:28:06 know. I mean, I honestly don't know. And then his wife, like, I see her everywhere. It's just weird. She even made an appointment at my job, which could be a coincidence, but, I mean, I just don't
Starting point is 00:28:22 know what to do at this point. I mean, how am I, how am I, how if I caught him twice. Like, the second time I was driving in the, like, a back way to get somewhere, and there he was, parked with the chick that was not his wife. Is this a real call? Yeah. Are you real? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:38 Do you promise you're real? Yes. I promise. I swear to God, I am very, very real. But I wouldn't. Yeah. I'm real. Like a prank?
Starting point is 00:28:47 Yeah, or a prank or like scuba's putting me to the test with him. Right. Because it's just, like, I don't know. Can you move? Okay. You promised this is a real situation and nobody, you didn't prank and ask, scuba's not putting you up to messing with me, anything like that. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. I've, no, no, no. It's not good content. No, I've actually tried to call like three times. Okay. And I'm like, because it just keeps going and I don't know what to do. Like, I don't. Can you, I can't be the only person who has saw him. He was in his work truck for God's sake. Well, first of all, it's not, it's not your business. So let's separate a few of these things. Uh, do you feel threatened in any, way because if his wife comes to your work, do you think that that is because you saw, do you feel safe?
Starting point is 00:29:30 Yes or no? Yes. Oh, that's not true. You didn't answer fully. If you feel safe, then you do nothing because like you said, and I liked what you said, I haven't heard that, not your circus, not your monkeys. That's funny. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:44 Yeah. And I don't know what's going on in that house. And if nobody's hurting, if someone's not physically hurting someone, then let them live their life. You don't know what the guy going on. Maybe it's a thing. Maybe it's not. You don't owe her an explanation because of him.
Starting point is 00:29:58 You don't know. I mean, if I'm getting an envelope in my mailbox, it seems fishy. I'm out. I just don't like any of it. And again, not your circus, not your monkeys. I think you just put your hands in the air and go, I don't need to know. I know. I'm not going to pay attention.
Starting point is 00:30:15 If I see it, I'm turning the blind eye. Now, if you see somebody getting hurt, that's when you step in. But I would not go and jump in the middle of this. No. I feel like this is like the beginnings of a dateline episode. She's questioning if the wife made an appointment coincidentally, or do you think the wife is like trying to get close to you? I mean, you're also her neighbor, but like...
Starting point is 00:30:35 But also, what do you do? Like, what area of work? Yeah. Is it normal she would make an appointment with you? Maybe. I mean, I work at an eye doctor. Okay, yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:43 Probs. Yeah, that's pretty generic. Like everybody has to go to an eye doctor. Like if you were a proctologist and she didn't have a butt problem, but she's like, I need to get in immediately. Then I'd be like, Okay, she's just trying to get a little one-on-one. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:57 Okay, Cassandra, here's my final say. It's not your business. You know it's not your business. You don't want drama. Let's have no drama. Just turn an eye and let them live their life and figure it out themselves. If you ever see someone getting hurt, then it's your job to step in and stop that. Otherwise, just stay to yourself, okay?
Starting point is 00:31:13 Okay, I just have one thing. If I end up on a Dateline episode, y'all better watch it. That's all I got to say. You have our word. We will tune in for that, watch it'll probably be somebody playing. It'll probably be Clay Akin. playing me in the show. He's like, hey, Cassandra called a radio show. The reenactment. And it's the guy from American eye. Okay, Cassandra, have a great day and stay at other people's
Starting point is 00:31:33 business, even though you feel like it's been presented to you, not the other way around. Yes, sir. All right. Have a great day. You too. Bye-bye. And that's the last they heard of Cassandra. Amy's morning corny coming up in a little bit. Here's a voicemail giving us a little morning corny themselves. Good morning, Bobby. Good morning studio. Why do melons have weddings? Because they Cataloke. Love this show. Have a great day. Boom. Oldie but goody. Here's the next one. Rachel from Colorado. I teach fourth grade and the last week or so we've just had such cold weather, zero degrees.
Starting point is 00:32:04 And so the kids haven't been able to get outside in a really long time for recess, after school, et cetera. And they're kind of becoming little monsters because of it. So I was one thing if you guys had any ideas or any feedback or activities that I could do that you think the kids would enjoy. And just for reference, I teach fourth grade. So they're nine and ten. Let me know. Thanks. Amy, anything?
Starting point is 00:32:27 I mean, what I do when my kids are feeling cooped up is we like sing songs, like whether it's karaoke or we put that on and dance around. And that always helps get some energy out. Plus it's like exercising their brain. We do push-up challenges, maybe do some run in place, jumping jacks. I try to just like move the body anyway that I can, especially for my 11-year-old. It helps. Okay.
Starting point is 00:32:48 Amy wants you to get them ripped. No, they just need to get energy out. I understand that feeling, but you got to do it and make it fun, like, make it a game somehow. Here's Amy's pile of stories. So do you all have things around the office that annoy you or things coworkers do or smells or anything that gets on your nerves? Well, we had a problem with lunchbox passing gas all the time. Wow. Remember that?
Starting point is 00:33:13 We had to have an intervention. And then he started going to the producer room and doing it. Yep. I do remember that. So that was a thing. You will yell at all of us in studio. because your headphones are still in. You don't take them off and you just, you're like,
Starting point is 00:33:26 how's everybody doing this morning? They're like, Annie, take your headphones off. Okay. Well, a poll was taken, and that's actually the number one thing. It's co-workers talking too loudly while you're trying to work. Is that a poll? They pulled me. Another guy here eats raw eggs.
Starting point is 00:33:42 Boiled, not raw. Yeah, boiled eggs. And they definitely smell. Someone else is eating, started eating them too, because I feel like the smell is just everywhere now. people who cough or sneeze without covering their mouth, co-workers who come into work even if they're sick, slow computers and IT issues.
Starting point is 00:33:59 Those are like the main office annoyances. Yeah, the sick thing bothers me. And my rule is if you don't feel good, don't come in, you will not be shamed or guilted. Heck, you may even win employee of the month if you don't come in. Like, I respect that so much. Yeah. All right, what else?
Starting point is 00:34:13 Well, so if you want to feel better, like say you're just kind of having an, uh, day, we'll perform a random act of kindness, Because studies show that when you put the well-being of others before your own, without expecting anything in return at all, it stimulates the reward centers in our brains to produce dopamine, oxytocin, and serotonin. And those are the feel-good chemicals. So really, it's called a helpers high, and that's all you've got to do. It's so simple.
Starting point is 00:34:39 So it sounds like if you're good to others, you're doing it now selfishly so you can feel good. We used to just do it without knowing. However it gets done. Okay. Okay. And then speaking of kindness, one of the kindest people ever, Dolly Parton, she shared her secret egg recipe. She says it makes the fluffiest eggs ever hands down. And it's an ingredient I've never heard of. She said when you're scrambling the eggs, add in ice cold water, like a few drops. And voila, it makes it fluffy. She's been doing that for years. Someone once told her, and she swears by it. Did she say walla? And do you know you spell walla with a V? Walla? V. Wala.
Starting point is 00:35:15 Fun fact. It looks like violin. Walla. And? I'm Amy. That's my file. That was Amy's pile of stories. It's time for the good news. With lunchbox. Tell me something good. 16-year-old Anthony Alexander's hanging out the park with some friends when he hears, help, help!
Starting point is 00:35:37 And he comes over the hill, and there was three kids that had been walking on the icy pond, and it had cracked, and they fell in. And he's like, how can I get him out? He calls 911 on his cell phone as he's really. run into the pond and he sees a tree limb and he sticks it out to the kids and as they're pulling the tree limb they pull Anthony in the water. Oh no. Oh no. Now what?
Starting point is 00:35:59 So Anthony grabs one of the kids wades over, puts one kid on the shore, second kid is drifting, grabs them, gets them to the shore. The third kid's way out there and he's going out there and that's when the cop arrives. And that's Patrick Kilroy. He goes, boom, grabs Anthony and then jumps in the water, swims, grabs. grabs the third kid and gets him out of the water. Wow. Do cops take off their belt before they jump in? You have to, right?
Starting point is 00:36:23 I don't say, just says he arrived, grabbed Anthony as he was trying to swim out for the third kid, said, you get out of the water, and he just jumped in the water. Doesn't say if gun or uniform was on. I feel like you'd regret that real quick. The cops slowly takes it all off. Okay, hold on one second, guys. Yeah, I feel like dangerous for all involved.
Starting point is 00:36:41 I mean, the kid's walking on the pond, the kid jumping in, the kid jumping in, they all could have lost their life. luckily they all got out and I go dang why would people be you know dumb enough to walk on a pond but then they're kids but then also Eddie did that at this one pool of my house I did yeah for a TikTok video yeah it just makes sense
Starting point is 00:36:58 everybody lived another cop another hero I love it that's what it's all about that was tell me something good thank you guys for hanging out let's go over to Amy and get in the morning corny the morning Corny. What's the world's number one card game?
Starting point is 00:37:20 What's the world's number one card game? Uno. Uno means one. Number one. Yeah. That was the Morning Corny. We play so much cards at the house that we have physically destroyed two decks in the past two months. That's funny.
Starting point is 00:37:46 Just from shuffling and playing and, you know, dirt and we've destroyed, we have to order new cards from Amazon every month at this point. You're an aggressive card? No, we just play a lot of nerds. We play, that's kind of our calm down after a long day. It's about 30, 45 minutes. We play a game a day. We keep score.
Starting point is 00:38:05 That's fun. You know, so we just, I have a set of Arkansas cards now. She has a set of Oklahoma cards. And we go to town. That's our, we're old. We're 80. Okay. Hey, here's a voicemail we got from a listener last week about the segment we're about to do.
Starting point is 00:38:21 Morning Studio. I was just wondering if you are going to bring back the employee of the month. Thanks. Love the show. It is March 1st. I got on my team of Mike D. and Scuba Steve. So they are not in the running from employee of the month. Because Steve's gotten it before.
Starting point is 00:38:38 Yeah. Yeah. They're voting now? We just talked about it. They lent me their ears. Okay. So, I haven't fully decided, though. It's pretty close between a couple people.
Starting point is 00:38:48 So, employ the month to win $40, the bit of their choice sometime over the next month when they want to do a segment and just have it. Who won't employee the month last month? Abby? Abby, one last month? Last time. Abby, how did your life change after you were employee of the month? Probably in many ways, huh? I mean, it really is one of the biggest honors.
Starting point is 00:39:06 Yeah, see? There you go. Did you guys create your speeches? Yes, we're ready. So, once I'm a lot of. I eliminate you, you then read your speech. Oh. Got it?
Starting point is 00:39:18 This is the worst. Because you have to read a speech for something you didn't get. That's why it's funny. But you already wrote it, though. Okay. Yeah. Here's who's not employee of the month. Up first, Eddie.
Starting point is 00:39:29 What? You're not employed? Already? Yeah, yeah. Shee. Well, that was anti-climactic. For you. For me, yeah. Eddie, give us your speech that you were going to read if you were employee of the month. Let me act like I'm really excited about this.
Starting point is 00:39:43 Wow. Wow, wow, wow. Thank you guys. I would like to thank everyone here, especially Scuba Steve, because only he knows how hard I work. Oh, wow. Me and Scova are here, endless hours after the show is over, making sure everything is good for the show. I believe we have some great digital content. And I want to thank our listeners and everyone watching on Facebook right now. This is for you because I provided this content for you. That's what I do here.
Starting point is 00:40:05 So thank you very much. And you all have a blessed day. Thank you so, so much. You don't really make the content. You just show it. Yeah, but, you know, if it wasn't for me, it wouldn't get to them. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:40:15 You did not win. You posted it up there? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Did not wait at that. Eddie's the first one eliminated for employee of the month. The second person that is not employee of the month. Ray. Ray would like to hear your speech if you would have been selected.
Starting point is 00:40:33 Unlike Eddie's mind will be real. I don't know what he was lying about there. But seriously, this is such an honor at my apartment, the penthouse. Bay has always been complaining. She's like, we have two plaques here from ACMs and CMs. and then we have one plaque here from CMAs. There's an imbalance. I need another plaque there so that there's two on each beam in the penthouse when we're
Starting point is 00:40:55 overlooking the Cumberland River. I finally, baby, I'm bringing home that plaque to give us that balance we need in the penthouse. Ray, who runs our board and does the audio and vital member of the team did not win. This is the employee of the month Beanie Baby that you'll win. Oh. That could be worth a lot. Yeah, it could. It's a bear.
Starting point is 00:41:15 The bears are expensive. You did berry good this month. Is that berry good? Perfect. The next person not employee of the month, Morgan. Dang. Sorry, Morgan. All the hard workers going out.
Starting point is 00:41:31 Morgan, your 30 second speech. Thank you so much, everyone, because without this team, I couldn't do what I do. And listen, I know I'm not the best at trivia. And sometimes I make a lot of people roll their eyes with my answers at things. But I've loved having the opportunity. to make people smile and feel related to being the youngest one on the show. I try to make sure every day I walk in here with a smile and do the best job that I can do each day. I love all of you.
Starting point is 00:41:59 Thank you. Bam. Morgan is our head of digital. If there's something on social media. No, no, Eddie said he does all that. I put it all up there, man. You, okay. He gets it to Morgan and then she.
Starting point is 00:42:11 Yeah, but Morgan does, like, lots of posting, lots of picture. Okay. There are three people left. Amy? lunchbox Abby Abby he gets a
Starting point is 00:42:23 oh wow lunchbox is going to lose his mind he's going to lose his mind I didn't even think of that he will quit till just now
Starting point is 00:42:31 you think he'll quit absolutely he's gone he might leave for a minute I don't think he'll quit but like he might exit the room which I've done that before it's fine maybe
Starting point is 00:42:41 sometimes enough is enough you know I know the next person the next person the next person who is not employee of the month is. Okay.
Starting point is 00:42:58 My speech is, well, there's no I and team. So first, I'd like to thank everyone on the show because you're each an asset to every segment, every show. Secondly, I'd like to thank my friend's stories and my kids because that's basically my content lately. There you go. Thank you. But it's a good, it was really a good, you did a great, you had a great month.
Starting point is 00:43:16 Oh, thank you. Yeah, you really did. Okay, we're down to two. Lunchbox and Abby, who won last month. Is it possible she could be employee of the month again? Wow. Please. I didn't even know.
Starting point is 00:43:33 Do you want me to just announce a winner like that? Wait, but then. But then we'll make the first runner up do their speech. First. We just announced a winner. Yeah, yeah, yeah. The winner of Employee of the Month. It's March 1st today, but the February employee of the month is Abby.
Starting point is 00:43:49 No way. She repeated as champion. Oh, man. Oh, my goodness. Oh, man. But you have to. Thank you. Her song was a big part of it.
Starting point is 00:43:59 She charted. The National Anthem. She charted. Yeah, a lot of content. She revealed she had a boyfriend on the air. Yeah, I did. She kind of came up and then she did. So, Abby, again, and maybe it's that you're exceeding expectations.
Starting point is 00:44:11 Oh, is that what it is? Maybe so, I think, because you're not on the air all the time. You answer phones. So maybe it's because your on-air role is not expected to be very much. When you overperform, I think that's probably why the team voted you as employee the month. Okay. But let's go to Lunchbox who did not win, who has his speech. Lunchbox.
Starting point is 00:44:31 Yeah. To all you haters that call and tell me my voice is annoying, why is Lunchbox on the show? Not only am I on the show, I'm the employee of the month. So eat that crap for breakfast, for lunch, dinner, whenever you're listening to us in your ears, in your car, at your work, whatever. And ever since I worked at Randalls when I was 15 years old, the grocery store, I would be in that break room and they had a little plaque up there for Employee of the Month.
Starting point is 00:44:53 I've dreamed about this for years And it has finally come true And I thought about singing this to you But we've heard enough bad singing this month When we play Abby's National Anthem over and over So I just gave it to you nice and easy Have a great day. Employee the Month out. Are you leaving?
Starting point is 00:45:13 No, I'm not leaving. What are your thoughts, though? I mean, it's rigged. They just want to make me mad. Here we go again. Just like we're going to play her song Just to honor her employee of the month Just to rile me up a little bit more.
Starting point is 00:45:24 You want to ruin my February. I mean, listen, you ruin my February. Might as well start my march out in a bad mood. So here we go. I'm in a bad mood. I tried to keep it in. I tried to act like I didn't care. But here we are. It's been a whole minute. And I'm really upset because when it was announced, I just sat here quietly trying to act like, hey, you know, no sweat on my back. But guess what? It's sweat off my back. What percentage of you thought when it was down to you and Abby that you were going to be?
Starting point is 00:45:47 Zero percent. No, you were going to be it. Zero percent. Oh, you knew. I knew. I knew by the looking Bobby's eyes. Because you knew you didn't deserve it. No, no, because I could look in your eyes and I was like, oh, he's smiling too much. It came down to Abby and Amy, if I'm being honest, as the last two we were talking through.
Starting point is 00:46:02 We just thought we'd roll lunchbox up at the end. Like, I saw it in his eyes. Like, I was like, he won't look at me. That means he doesn't want to tell me that a lot. That's not true. Sometimes I do the opposite. In a way, like lunchbox, let me, this is something that just popped into my head. I don't want to make this about lunchbox because Abby just won.
Starting point is 00:46:20 I know. And he tends to do that, but. Well, I didn't do anything. I did not do. No, don't play me. for this. Amy, go ahead. Amy, go ahead. Like, in a way, again, like you said, Abby's
Starting point is 00:46:30 main role is not to be on the mic, but in the way lunchbox reacts to her, he technically gives her more time. Oh, wow. Which helps her shine. I created the employee of the month, is what you're saying. Without me, she wouldn't be where she is. Is what you're saying, Amy, right? Amy, she wouldn't have
Starting point is 00:46:46 the material without me. I'm going to let you do your speech and then you can come and collect your $40 right here. And her very good bear. Right here. And your bear. Oh, yay. Employee of the month, Barry. Very good. Okay. Okay, and here is our Employee of the Month, Abby, our phone screener.
Starting point is 00:47:00 Okay, so I want to thank Bobby, everyone I work with and all the listeners for their support. And I especially want to thank Lunchbox because you know you're singing for dummies book. It's paying off. I've been reading it and it's obviously paying off because my version's being played on different stations. It's like really been the best month because it's been played on all the stations. I'm going to Strawberry Festival and now I get an employee of the month. The only repeat champion. Can I just say she needs a speechwriter?
Starting point is 00:47:29 Because when she had her 71 party or whatever number she was, 79. 71. It was bad. That was bad. Bobby, help her with her speeches. Didn't say I was the best at giving speeches. She's not an on-air person. I'm just saying, I'm just saying, like, if we're going to have speeches, maybe she needs help.
Starting point is 00:47:43 I mean, even the president has people that writes his speeches for him. Even the president? No, like, the president for sure. That's literally a job. Yeah. Want to help me on Fox? You're so good? You want to help me?
Starting point is 00:47:52 Speaches? I mean, I'll help you with speeches. singing, I mean, I'll get you all sorts of lessons. Abby, thank you. You've been a great employee. You win the money and the bear, and you've just done an excellent job. Well, thank you. Well, and there's your employee of the month, Abby.
Starting point is 00:48:07 To everyone, though, it was a difficult decision. Everyone was in the running, really, except Eddie. Really? Yeah. Interesting. Thanks, scuba. I'll remember that. I hate that I, like, feel bad for winning. Like, looking at lunchbox. Just his face. No, don't let that get to. Abby is our winner.
Starting point is 00:48:24 There's a guy who was driving 259 miles per hour on the Audubon, which is in another country, Germany, but he was driving 259, and he recorded it to put it on YouTube. But think about driving that fast. I mean, it seems crazy. 259 miles per hour. They are thinking about filing charges against the guy who posted a YouTube showing him driving a Bugatti Kairn
Starting point is 00:48:46 at up to 259. He was driving on one of the stretches that doesn't have a speed limit, but authorities are thinking about prosecuting him because they're considering this a banned car race like you can't drive that fast in this kind of car go to jail for two years this car costs $3 million dollars $3 million for a car
Starting point is 00:49:05 Then why make that car available to people I don't know I don't know but it would be like getting a race car like putting a NASCAR on the street that's not available to be driven on the road but a $3 million car if you can't drive it's only they weren't going to pull them over for I just having the car
Starting point is 00:49:21 but going $269 I have no interest in going fast. What's the fastest you've ever driven in a car? You will not be prosecuted. 90? Yeah, about the same probably. On an 80. Because some interstates, I believe you can get to 80. So I think I've probably been up around 90 before. Eddie? 90. Maybe 91. I was late to a doctor's appointment.
Starting point is 00:49:40 You never hit 100, huh? Never. I don't have cars that I think that can go to 100. Lunch bikes? 112. My buddy's Camero. And you drove at 112? And he let you. He let you drive his Camaro.
Starting point is 00:49:53 And maxed it out to 112. On a highway? On where? Mopac. Like a highway in Austin? Yep. You drove it 100 miles an hour in the middle of Austin. How old were you?
Starting point is 00:50:01 Yeah, we were 16. Oh my gosh. We could have lost him. Yeah. I mean, one time, let me tell you about one time he was flying. We were going about 85 and a cop, roo! And we hit that 183 flyover, cop never caught us. Gone.
Starting point is 00:50:16 So you ran from the cops? Yeah. In a Camaro. In a Camaro. He still got the Camaro in the garage. He won't let go of it. I mean, it would fly. That sucker.
Starting point is 00:50:23 flu. I'm not letting any of my friends drive anything I have 112 miles an hour. That's wild. I didn't even interested in going fast. Oh, it was pretty scary. Was it? Oh, yeah. That was real scary. Woo! I mean, everything is flying real quick. And I mean... Did you just get it to it and then drop it off? About three or four seconds and I was like, I'm done.
Starting point is 00:50:44 And you go back to 70? Yep. Because immediately you're just like, I mean, your heart is beating. I mean, I may have been sweating. I was so, like, freaked out. Ray, what's fast he ever been? Ever done 100? No, I mean, parents always had like northern vehicles, SUVs and stuff, so 90, 95. Scooby ever done 100? Oh, easily.
Starting point is 00:51:01 Of course. Instead of a Honda Civic SI and I loved it, I would go, I would not all the time, but I would, an early morning traffic would go at least 1.20, 125. What? In a car, in a Honda? It's like three in the morning going to work in San Francisco and just rolling over the bridge. It was liberating. You would do 120 miles an hour. They would put you in jail for that.
Starting point is 00:51:18 Over the Bay Bridge, but there's no, there's no cop shots. Three in the morning. There's nobody on the road. It was safe. It was just me. the Bay Bridge, like the Golden Gate Bridge? No, there's a Bay, there's two. There's a Golden Gate Bridge and there's the Bay Bridge that connects Oakland and San Francisco.
Starting point is 00:51:30 I have no interest in going that fast. So much fun. It's time for the good news. With Bobby. Tell me something good. A few years ago, there's a guy named Steve Sanders. He found out his kidneys were slowly failing and that he'd eventually either need regular kidney dialysis or a kidney transplant.
Starting point is 00:51:49 You know, being a father or two, he's very active. He was afraid his dialysis would not allow him to enjoy his family. So he started to search for a donor kidney. Family and friends, they all try to be a match and they weren't. Like it's just not easy to find a match. So he turned to social media and he says, hey, anybody, and Chris Perez stepped up. And Chris didn't know Steve beforehand, but he became aware of the story. And he says, you want to do this for your kids? I know what that's like. And so even though they'd never met, he donated his kidney. Tests, match, kidney donated. They hit it off and they just underwent
Starting point is 00:52:23 the successful transplant surgery in Charlotte, North Carolina. Somebody who didn't even know them donated his kidney because the story touched him. That is wildly unselfish, thoughtful. I mean, that's crazy.
Starting point is 00:52:36 I know. It always makes you think every time you read one of these stories and like, would I... Should we? But I've seen stories that are like, hey, donate on a billboard and just drove by.
Starting point is 00:52:46 Right, but other people don't. But I guess... That's my thing. I don't go, should I go, I go... But I mean, you would for one of us. Oh, yeah. Yes, most of you. But that is a great story.
Starting point is 00:52:59 That is what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good. On the phone is Kate, who is calling us from California. Kate, what's going on? Hi, okay, so I have a question. I need advice. My husband and I just bought his childhood home from his parents. And I told him, I had one request.
Starting point is 00:53:20 I said I didn't want to keep anything from them in the house. I called it for them because they are in between houses. They are building. And he said, no problem for sure. Well, come to find out, keeping all of their workout equipment in a whole room for two years. And I was really upset when I first found out because he didn't run it by me. But then I was like, you know what? They're my in-laws.
Starting point is 00:53:41 It's fine. They do so much for us. It's like, I need to get over myself. Well, now he wants to go to the local gym. And I'm like, no, you can use the gym at home. And he's like, you're being ridiculous. I don't need to use the gym at home. And I'm like, you made a commitment to use this for two years.
Starting point is 00:53:54 You can use the gym at home. Did he make the commitment in the agreement to keep their stuff? Like, did he say I will also work out with this equipment? No, he didn't. He just said, yeah, sure, I'll occupy a whole room. But now he wants to go to the gym. And I'm like, use the stuff here. It's all the same.
Starting point is 00:54:11 Okay. Will the gym membership significantly hurt you financially? Oh, no, not at all. It's like $10 a month. Okay. You have to let him go to the gym. Yeah. Why does he want to go, though?
Starting point is 00:54:23 Well, a lot of people like the gym. Well, kind of weights with those, two and a halfs? Maybe a crossbow? What do you call it? Boflex? Well, I mean, those can be good, but some people just want to be out of the house. They want that separation. They want the energy of a gym and classes and different things.
Starting point is 00:54:40 Yeah, Kate, I'm going to, I hate siding against you because you sound awesome. But if he didn't make the commitment, he was going to work out with those weights, And I understand how annoying it could be to have to have a room taken over. I think it's two different things, though. Yeah. I think you can be annoyed. You got to keep the stuff. And it has nothing to do with him having to work out with the stuff.
Starting point is 00:54:59 So let him go to the gym. Yeah, but you get something. I'm always good with that. I'm always with some sort of negotiation there. But I think he should be able to go to the gym if he didn't commit to using the stuff. Yeah. I have like, he's over the moon hearing that especially from you. So, hmm.
Starting point is 00:55:15 Okay, but then we'll speak to him. Okay. Let's say something to him. You say. Because I'm going to speak for him. The name is going to speak for you. I'll be his representation. Him, you, man, husband, you go to your wife and you say, okay, I know I'm going to be going to the gym.
Starting point is 00:55:30 But hey, I obviously, since I didn't consider what you wanted with the house and the exercise equipment is there, I'm sorry I didn't take that into consideration. But what would you like? What can I do for you? What is something that's missing from your life? That's what he needs to say. I like that. Well, I was talking to him. He's cool.
Starting point is 00:55:51 When he hears this. Okay, well, thanks guys. All right. We'll talk to you hopefully another time, okay? All right. Thank you. Have a good day. Bobby Bone Show.
Starting point is 00:56:00 Bonehead. Story of the day. This story comes up to us from the state of Washington. A man was pulled over when he was in the HOV lane, which is the carpool lane. It was him and a skeleton dressed like him. Had a hoodie on, had the construction outfit. But he got pulled over when he was. Notice, just bare bones.
Starting point is 00:56:18 I think it's funny. I'm not too good for this. Yeah, I mean, if you're desperate and you're in hurry. If traffic's awful, I'm not too, I'm going to be honest, I'm not too good. I rarely get in that, or remember to get in that lane. We come to work at weird hours. I'm not stuck in traffic that often because of my lifestyle where I'm in bed early and traveling at weird hour. But occasionally when I get into crazy traffic, if I am traveling, I never think about it because I'm never on.
Starting point is 00:56:45 You don't get on that side. for it. But you would. I would definitely buy a blow-up doll. Put a razor bag hat on it. Oh my gosh. Can you imagine? That's my cousin Josh.
Starting point is 00:56:55 Carpooling with your cousin. I bet you that doesn't get stopped. Bobby makes the news for him and his blow-up doll. And you know what? In my mugshot, I'd be smiling with thumbs up. Okay. And police did tweet a photo and said, hashtag got to be alive. I'm lunchbox.
