I mentioned on the regular show that I was up all night last night because of my house alarm went off, and so I didn't sleep a lot.
Starting point is 00:03:01 I've crashed. Right now. Like 15 minutes ago, because begging anybody for food. I was like, anybody have anything to eat? I'm going to blood sugar's crashed out. And Amy goes, I have a beet bar. Typical. And I was like, ugh.
Starting point is 00:03:14 And she was like, well, you're begging for something. It was a beef bar. Much better. It was really good. Yeah, it's epic. Yeah. And then you said it's epic. And Eddie are like, wow, it's that good?
Starting point is 00:03:23 No, that's the brand. It's an epic bison bar. Well, I will say that it was pretty great. And I still have it bounced back. I still feel jittery. Did you have bison? That's crazy. Not really.
Starting point is 00:03:35 Really? I never eat bison. I mean, I guess I don't either, but there's a place that I go and get food called clean eats here in town. And they offer bison as a meat option. I never get it, but I guess I don't feel like it's extremely foreign. How did that taste that bar that Amy gave you? I'm struggling, so it's great. But it was epic?
Starting point is 00:03:53 No, but it's great. It's good for what I needed it to be. There's a guy who's seven feet tall and he keeps getting bumped to first class because he's too tall for coach. Nice. Oh, that's cool. It's a good problem. It's a perk. For being tall.
Starting point is 00:04:05 I mean, imagine you're, I mean, a seven foot tall would be tough just to live. Things are just not made for you. A man traveling from North Carolina to Georgia discovered he was too tall to fit on the plane when he boarded the flight. While this meant he couldn't take the flight he originally booked, they put him on a different flight and put them on in first class. You play basketball, right? Like if you're seven foot tall, like just you have to because you're that tall and there aren't that many people that tall? But you have to have skill. No.
Starting point is 00:04:31 But not really. I think you get asked if you play basketball, but I don't think. Because you're so close to the rim. But I get why, yes. There you go. Scored. But if you don't have athletic ability, it may actually be harder to play a sport if you're that large. Yeah, I think about that.
Starting point is 00:04:48 I think we know the people because if you're tall and all basketball players are tall for the most part, at least taller. I mean, this guy looks really tall. I mean, he looks like an athlete, though. I'm being honest. Right, Mike? Yeah. But, you know, it. It would suck to be 6-9, 610.
Starting point is 00:05:05 And not play sports because you know everybody's going to be asking you all the time if you play sports. Who's the guy that plays for Arkansas? He's super tall, but he doesn't look athletic. Connor Vanover. Yeah, he doesn't look athletic at all, but he plays really well because he's so, so tall. I mean, he looks like a giraffe out there. He's very skinny, but he has put on a bunch of weight. Has he?
Starting point is 00:05:25 Yeah, and he's only a junior? He's got another year even after this year. But he's 7 foot 4. God, that's so tall. I know. And they push him around on the paint because he was so skinny. But again, he's put on a little weight. But he's seven foot four, which is just wild. Let's see here. Eddie has asked, what was everybody's Christmas present? Favorite Christmas present. Yeah. Amy?
Starting point is 00:05:48 My coffee maker to myself. What you got yourself. I scared nobody by it for me. Let's do things you didn't get yourself. Omit those? Yeah. Let's see. I got old. A lot of like really...
Starting point is 00:06:05 Can I think for a second? Sure. Eddie? No, yeah, go around. Well, mine's easy. Mine's the fanny pack my sister gave me. It's a waterburger fanny pack. I'm starting to take it everywhere I go now.
Starting point is 00:06:17 Like everywhere. And it's got my wallet, my keys, my sunglasses, and even some snacks. You look like an idiot. And like, honestly, Bones, I've had it since Christmas and like 10 people have come up to me like, that is awesome. I love that. Well, you kind of have to say something about it because it's so loud. Oh.
Starting point is 00:06:33 It's like somebody with a crazy haircut. You can't just not acknowledge it. But I think I play it off well because I'm like, I mean business. I'm not just like, oh, thank you. I saw you walk in. And I've done the whole fandy pack thing where I wore. And it doesn't last. I don't know how long I'm going to do it, honestly, because I'm so used to having my keys in my pocket,
Starting point is 00:06:52 my wallet, in my back pocket. Now I'm like, oh, hold on. It's in the front zippers. So maybe I get used to it and do it for the rest of my life or I just get over it in a couple of weeks. You'll probably get over it. Okay. But it's cool. They have a waterburger here in town.
Starting point is 00:07:05 It opens up tomorrow. Oh, is that right? That's right. Well, you better go get in line. It's so far. I know. I'll be there, though. After the show, as soon as the show's over,
Starting point is 00:07:13 I'll go straight over there. I bet you can't get through then. You're going to be there before it opens. I'm thinking Lunchbox can probably call ahead and say I'm coming or something to do his thing where he calls. Oh, now you want him to do it? Now you want me on your side. Now you're begging for it. Lunchbox's favorite present?
Starting point is 00:07:27 Man, I didn't really get any presents. I'm trying to think, I mean, my father-in-law, wrapped up some socks that he thought were mine left at his house, but they weren't mine. And my sister got me something, but I don't even know what it is. She said it's something I put on my wall and it can put artwork in it, but I haven't seen it. So I really got nothing, guys. But you're Mr. Present. You like a love a present. No, I love a present. Is it because you were sick? No, no. I mean, I was sick, but still under the tree, there wasn't really anything for me. It was more about the kids. And I'm just like, guys, just because the kids are around
Starting point is 00:08:00 doesn't mean we have to stop giving presents. So I really don't have a favorite present because I really didn't get much. Well, you do have three kids now. And if people are buying for your family. Yeah, but a PJ Mass book, that's not for me. That's for my kids. So they can say it's for the family. It's for my kids.
Starting point is 00:08:15 Did your wife get you anything? No. Did you get her anything? Yeah. Why didn't she get you anything? She tried to get me something, but it didn't come through. That's what she said. That's what she told me.
Starting point is 00:08:28 She goes, I was trying to get you something, but it didn't. come through. Interesting. Okay. And that makes a lot of sense. She goes, but I'm still going to try, so I don't want to tell you what it is. I'm like, okay, so this is something that could happen. It could not happen.
Starting point is 00:08:39 Super Bowl tickets. No, I don't know. That's what I'm saying. I have no idea, but it didn't come through in time for Christmas. Amy? So I think about the gifts from my kids and my son got me these cute little earrings that are adorable. And then my daughter got me a really cool puzzle.
Starting point is 00:08:53 And they both picked them out themselves. And I thought that those were really special. I know that's heartfelt. I'm asking like your favorite gift. I do love those. Okay, but I like all the things that I got. Like, I'm going to go float in one of those saltwater things. I got that.
Starting point is 00:09:07 And I'll tell you that story in a minute. Okay, I got a gift card for that. Love that. We got you a fancy wallet. I was about to say that. I got a really fancy wallet. But that's not your favorite. Yes, it is.
Starting point is 00:09:16 He was looking for that from the beginning. No, I love it. She's like, I don't have anything. I didn't say I didn't have anything. I got a dish towel with macaroni from my kids. I didn't say it didn't have anything. I was trying to think of like, what's my favorite. Also, our friend Mary, she,
Starting point is 00:09:30 got me like a pajama set with my dog's face all over it. I was like, that's fun and cute. Like, I could, I could list things out that really were special. You're one, I'm not asking special. That's what's hard for me. I can't just pick one. You're going to get me apart for it. No, I don't care.
Starting point is 00:09:46 I don't care what you pick. But when you said, well, my kids got me a special gift. Not your favorite. But like your selfish most favorite. Okay. Like you had to give all them back and nobody knew. I'm not giving that wallet back you gave me. Okay, take me out of it.
Starting point is 00:09:59 remove Caitlin and I'm not giving anybody's gifts back no no no but say let's say an angel visited you and said hey me this is not a fun game it is just follow along amy no one will ever know but you have to to save humanity or every human dies on earth you have to give all the gifts back except for one that you love the most and no one will ever know which one are you keeping creepy angel by the way which one am i keeping which one are you keeping I have to give all which one am i keeping Amy, that's been the game. Or all the humans die. I don't like it.
Starting point is 00:10:33 It's the safe humanity. It's to save humanity. We're all dying. Right now, we're dying. Okay, well, it sounds like I might need a saltwater float. Okay. That's it? That's what you're keeping the float.
Starting point is 00:10:44 Is that like floating in the ocean? No, and I'll tell you what happens. This is why I'm not good at this game. But the float, that gift card to the float was like $75 bucks, right? $80, which is awesome. But we got you was a lot more than that. You just said take mine out of it. You literally said.
Starting point is 00:10:59 Take my gift out of it. That was a test, Amy. She got me there. She got me there. I forgot I said that. Okay. Thank you. That's good.
Starting point is 00:11:06 Now, what is special about this wallet? Is it just a nice wallet? Does it do special things? No, what is it really nice? It's just a really nice wallet. Yeah. I did the salt water float thing. Have you ever done it before?
Starting point is 00:11:17 No. Not how I think the right way. Has anyone done this before? I've seen it on TV. I mean, I floated in the ocean. So we got gift cards. Caitlin and I did. Not from the same person, though, probably, yeah?
Starting point is 00:11:28 Probably not. So it was like, hey, we booked you whenever you want to go, and there's like a sauna, and then after the sauna, you get into the pod, and it's full of water with like a ton of, what kind of salt? Yeah, that's what it is. So much absent salt that you float, right? There's music in it, and so we do the sauna. I'm not a big sauna guy, but it's pretty good because it wasn't a hot sauna. It was an infrared sauna.
Starting point is 00:11:53 You still sweat like crazy, but you're not as miserable in there. And so it did that. and I usually hate sanas and this one I only mildly disliked and so it's to like get the toxins out of your body and I've done a lot of research on sanas and some people are like it's the dumbest thing ever and some say it really helps.
Starting point is 00:12:08 So my opinion is it's probably good for some people, not good for others. But I have a shoulder issue and it helped my shoulder a lot just because I don't know if the heat was good for it. Yeah, it brings the swelling down. So then I go over to this pod and they give you these pieces of wax
Starting point is 00:12:22 and say put these on your ear so the salt doesn't come in your ear. And I'm going to tell you something that's very personal and a little graphic. So brace yourselves for this. Do we have to hear this? Okay, you don't have to. I'll not tell you.
Starting point is 00:12:34 Let's vote now. Is it waist down? Mm-hmm. Yeah. We're all mature here. We're not. None of us are mature, but I can still tell you. Occasionally we are.
Starting point is 00:12:43 So I get in the salt thing. We never voted. Oh, yeah, true. Let's vote. It's like what happened there. Okay. Who wants to hear it? I.
Starting point is 00:12:52 I. Amy. I know. I do. I'm good. Eddie says no? I say no. Amy and Lunchbox say yes Morgan?
Starting point is 00:12:58 Yeah. Ray? I'm going to say no. I'm going to turn my headphones off. Still three to two. Okay, so I go in and I put the wax things in my ear, and you lay in the pot and you float. And you float immediately.
Starting point is 00:13:12 You're at the top of the water. It's crazy. You pull the thing down on top of you. I have such stomach issues with, like I will eat, and if I'm not taking my medicine, which can't wash my medicine, I'll not use the bathroom for a week. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:24 And that hurts. And that really bothers my mind. stomach. So because of that, I stay pretty constipated sometimes because I just never go to the bathroom. So when you're constipated, you push hard. And I guess I, my butt hole is like cracked from me pushing hard for being constipated. So as soon as I get in the salt, it feels like you're pouring salt in a wound. And I'm like, oh my God. And so there's a shower in the same room because you have to wash salt. And I've got my butt hole up into the shower. And I'm just trying to wash it out of salt. Wait, so you're in a, see, because I've been in one of these where
Starting point is 00:13:56 you're in a room, but you said you close it down over you? The pod. Was that scary? No. Okay. How big is that pod bones? It's probably seven feet long and it's a capsule and about five feet wide. Oh, you can spread your arms and not getting into it. Okay. Were you in a place
Starting point is 00:14:12 that's kind of like close to it? Sort of. Is there a pillow in there? I don't know what you do. No, but you have like just a little thing that floats in the water too and your head stays up on it. But you float easily. So were you able to hang in there the whole time? I lasted about five minutes and my buthole hurts so bad because it was like a wound that salt was being poured into.
Starting point is 00:14:28 And so I went to the shower. I was like, oh, and Caitlin was in another room doing it. She's smart enough to know that you can, she was on her phone on it because you're just floating in the top of the water. And so I texted her. I was like, I can't last. It's like a fireball in my butt. And she's like, oh, no.
Starting point is 00:14:42 So I go in the shower and I run it all down my butt to try to get that salt out. And I Google it like, am I going to die because I got salt? And they were like, well, actually, it can help the wound heal quicker. And so I'm like, okay, let me get back in again. So I got back in and I was in for about 12 more minutes and I couldn't take it anymore. Had I not had, and I didn't even my butthole was bad, but had I not had that, I think it had been awesome.
Starting point is 00:15:06 What really stunk was I got salt in my ears because I didn't put the wax in good enough because your head's in, it took me like three days to get the salt out of my ears. It wasn't until I put peroxide in each year and let it sit in there to get it out that I was able to like hear clear again. So you're naked in this thing, right?
Starting point is 00:15:20 You're naked, yeah. You're naked. Somewhere else. Look at my butt. Amy's like, we're all mature. Somebody need to put wax in the butt. Well, I'm just saying. So you say no?
Starting point is 00:15:35 To what? To the saltwater flow. No, I think it's actually, it would have been really cool for me because I would have relaxed. But again, I was being lit on fire. What's the point of, like, why do you go to this thing? Don't like athletes use this stuff. But you're not an athlete.
Starting point is 00:15:52 Yeah, but I think it's... Not like a massage, right? When you take a bath after you're sore, they say put Epson salts in the bath. Yes. So I don't know the science behind it. I think it's supposed to be good for you mentally, too. Yeah, I don't know about that because I just get in there and go, well, here's the thing about the music in these pods. It kind of sucks because it's all the music that, like, massage music.
Starting point is 00:16:12 And I don't like when I get a massage, I have to hear, oh, ah, I want to hear. And yeah. John Mayer. I want to hear, you know, a playlist. I don't want to hear waves crashing. some people do but that was the thing the only music you could hear was like
Starting point is 00:16:29 however I would say there we go great experience if you don't have a wounded butthole okay that's what I'd say and I think it would have been really cool and I think you're gonna like it a lot Caitlin loved it
Starting point is 00:16:43 she was like I would do that again so you would keep that that's a whole story here expensive you said under 100 I don't know because it was a gift card I assumed it's about 70 bucks or so yeah I think it's like yeah about that And, you know, experiences are good gifts, and that is a gift I would keep.
Starting point is 00:16:59 Apparently, you say now, a great experience. The gift that I, my favorite gift, Caitlin got me a kind of a satchel bag because I wanted something bigger than a fanny pack, but not quite as large as a backpack. And so she got me, it kind of looks fanny-ish, but you don't wear it. I wear it on my back, but it's a little bigger. You wear it on your back? I do. Okay. Is it like the one Jamie Tart wears?
Starting point is 00:17:24 In Ted Lassow? Maybe, but he comes across the front? Yes, but it's not a fanny pack. I think he wears a fanny pack. Okay. If you go to my Instagram, Mr. Bobby Bones, you can go back a few days. And I'm wearing one. Um, I think I'm wearing it.
Starting point is 00:17:40 Yeah, I'm wearing it in the pink jacket. I know you wanted like a real specific one. Yeah, and it also fits a computer if I need to put a computer in it. What? It's that big? Deceivingly. Oh. Oh, that's cool.
Starting point is 00:17:52 Wait, you're wearing it on stage? I was doing rehearsal. Oh. And my wallet and my keys weren't in it, so I didn't want to lay it down anywhere. Right. You think I'm doing this show and sweat? I didn't know what this was. In a jacket?
Starting point is 00:18:05 So that was a really good present. Caitlin also got me some shoes I really liked. Oh, cute. What else? I think I... Probably I go with the satchel. The Oculus was good, though. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:18 Yeah, you're welcome, dude. You're welcome, man. Yeah, we nailed that one. It was so good. I even got it as a gift for somebody else. I got it. my brother, well, it's for my Caitlin's sister and her husband,
Starting point is 00:18:29 but really is for him. I was like, I got you guys a gift. And then him and I played for like three days. So that's good. That's good. Morgan, favorite Christmas present? My parents got me a sloth encounter. I saw you with a sloth. And it was amazing. I am a huge fan of sloths.
Starting point is 00:18:47 It's my favorite animal, so I got to go visit them and feed them and even pet their little fur. Oh, that's cool. They had a sloth in Kansas? Yeah, so there's this place called Teng Nika, it's a breeding facility. They do like breeding of species that are almost extinct. And so it's this really cool thing. They do sloth encounters because they're not funded from the state or whatever.
Starting point is 00:19:04 That's how they get funding from people. And yeah, I think my parents paid maybe like 50 bucks. And I got to go hang out with sloths named Sydney and Curtis. Yeah. Can you get a sloth yourself? I don't know if you can. But you can illegally. I'm sure a drug dealer has one.
Starting point is 00:19:21 I know someone who has one illegally. Really? Really? In town? What? too. It's somebody who's... I got it.
Starting point is 00:19:28 Yeah. I got it. Known. You all know who this person is. They have a sloth. And I was like, you have a sloth? He's like... Did you see it?
Starting point is 00:19:39 Yeah. It's awesome. Ramundo, favorite gift? You got to be VR. Oculus, yeah. Favorite game? So one of the cool experiences is these people take these cameras to other countries, and then you get to visit them in 3D.
Starting point is 00:19:54 So like I went to Kenya. I went to Antarctica. I went to prison, Texas prison. I did. I went to Texas prison and I went through the whole thing where they booked me in. Why? Why would you want to do that? You just want to see what it's like.
Starting point is 00:20:08 That's an option. Yeah. And then I talked to the guy who was like, okay, going through all the diseases. And then I'm in the holding cell before I got my own cell with all the other guys. And they were talking about what it's like. And the guy was like, this white guy stands up and goes, hey, listen, I wasn't racist before I got in here. and I'm not racist now, but you have to be racist in prison
Starting point is 00:20:26 because white people have to be with white people and black people have to be with black people and the Hispanics have to sit together and he goes and I'm an Aryan now he said, because if I don't, I will get killed and you're like, oh my God, like what's happening? What? Crazy.
Starting point is 00:20:41 Are these true stories? Yes, they're real people. And they, they volunteered their story for Oculus? For whomever is taking in the footage and the footage is put up on, You can watch it on VR. And is this supposed to deter people from wanting to go to jail? Oh, that's a good point.
Starting point is 00:20:57 No, it's helping you survive in jail. I don't know. It probably could be used for a few different things. Like locked up? It could be scared straight. Yeah. Scared straight, that's what I mean. Yeah, it could be, but not me.
Starting point is 00:21:06 I was like, ooh-hoo. And then whenever I got scared, I just took it off my head. Back to reality. Yeah, it's crazy, though. Oh, I'm going to have to check that one out. What's it called? I don't remember. They're easy to search.
Starting point is 00:21:17 You just go, like, jail. Yeah, because Amy has one. Yeah. Type in Texas prison or something. And then my father-in-law was playing the ping-pong one, and he was just by himself in the corner, and he dropped the controllers. And we're like, what are you doing?
Starting point is 00:21:31 He's like, I was trying to put him on the table, the ping pong table. I had no idea. Prison boss? No, that's a potato. It's not a game. It's like a, like Ray said. It's like a VR experience. Texas jail, an insider look in VR.
Starting point is 00:21:45 There we go. Oh. There was. You were in Huntsville then? I don't know where I was, but I was in the van. Yeah, here it is. It's Texas jail and inside a look at VR 3D-360 video. Come and experience a unique look into the real U.S. jail.
Starting point is 00:21:59 This project is a collaboration with la-la-la. The people you are about to see are not actors. They are real prisoners in Texas County Jail. The VR documentary is not scripted. The prisoners were allowed and encourage to speak their mind to the VR camera to invite you to their world. The things that you are about to hear reflect their lives and views. You'll hear commentary about racism in jail.
Starting point is 00:22:16 Oh, my. In America. You'll hear about their lives in prison. The VR camera also gives you a unique look into the jail. Have you ever had the opportunity to look around and feel the size of their sales? You can... Cells. I'm getting tired, so my accent's really starting to just pour out of me.
Starting point is 00:22:31 This content does not contain violence but may not be fit for all ages. Okay. Well, okay. You should watch it first. I know where I'm going later today. Oh, dang, there's a crew in there. Jail. Oh, you hang out with all those dudes in there?
Starting point is 00:22:43 Imagine how it would feel to get locked in jail. No, I'm good. Like Mike is watching it now, but he's watching it on just a video, so it kind of looks a bit disproportionate. But like if you have the goggles on, it's like you're literally. Like you're there. You didn't have to do like, you didn't have to get searched. You see it, Mike?
Starting point is 00:23:01 Like you're in the van. You're walking with the, there's the guy there that's like, all right, let's check your medicals. And then soon it's going to put you in the holding. Oh, is this just a promo mic? So it's a VR documentary. So that's the holding cell mic and then the other guys come in. And that's when they're telling you what it's like day to day.
Starting point is 00:23:20 Oh, wow. Yeah, it sucks. Hey, so just an idea. Like, if one of your kids are acting up, like, you can put that game on, right? And be like, hey. What if you just did, like, real jail? Or they just sit in a cell, but only in VR. Yes.
Starting point is 00:23:31 Like if your kid's bad. Oh, God. That's funny. And then when their time's up, you take it off. Uh-huh. Okay. He starts using the bathroom in the corner of your house. Thinking it's...
Starting point is 00:23:43 Man. We had a... Before we went away, we had a little... We were gone, which I mentioned before we left in Costa Rica for. five weeks or so. And, Kayla's like, when we come back, I want to invite a bunch of my friends over and bunch of our friends and have like a small Christmas party. And this is because then the Omicron or what's that what it's called Omicron, the new
Starting point is 00:24:05 variant was happening. But I wasn't thinking much about it. And I feel like I'm almost like just give me COVID at this point because I'm going to be fine. And I have the vaccine. So if I get it, like let's live life. Get the vaccine, but live your life. That's where I fall now.
Starting point is 00:24:21 open everything up, get the vaccine, live your life. But I had to work doing the New Year's show. And if I got COVID, I couldn't work. So we had all these, went to Walgreens, we went to CVS, we had some leftover. We had all these tests, these antigen, 24, or rapid, 15-minute rapid tests. And so we had like 15 boxes. either that we had had saved, we just went to the store and found them. Like two days later, you couldn't find them anywhere.
Starting point is 00:24:56 It was like toilet paper when COVID first started, but we had everybody tested, one, because we're super COVID conscious anyway, but I just couldn't get it because then I couldn't work. Because if I have it, they'll just say, you can't come on set and you lose the job. And so we had the test, everybody COVID tested at the house. I was surprised how many people had them at their own house. I guess you didn't. You used ours. But so many people were like, we have our own COVID test.
Starting point is 00:25:21 I had some. Yeah. And so we had a little party. We hired those same singers. Abby's band. Yeah. Abby's group. We hired the group to come over and sing.
Starting point is 00:25:32 Who photoshopped Abby in there? Who did that? I don't know. I didn't. I did that. Oh, you didn't? No, no, no. There's no way you did that.
Starting point is 00:25:39 Who did it? Everybody, Mike. I said it to him and I was like, hey, put Abby in this. That was funny. Hey, Abby, can we, by the way, we had a Christmas party. It was great. It's fun. Didn't get sick.
Starting point is 00:25:49 But I had all those tests, and I took them to Oklahoma and Arkansas. and saw and tested everybody, all the families. Anybody I ran into, I had to test them because if I got COVID, I couldn't work. So it wasn't so much about COVID, but it was about me losing a job if I did get COVID. Abby, can you, are you going to talk about what's up? I guess. I'm on camera right now. You don't have to. I had COVID, yeah. Okay. Well, yes, I did. So I'm still wearing it because you have to wear it for 10 days and Ray is getting away from me. Ray, what are you doing? You've been sitting beside her all day. I'm just trying to keep six feet. He's been keeping six feet.
Starting point is 00:26:23 Did you get sick, Abby? I didn't feel good at the very beginning. Yeah. Like, I mean, I felt like I was hit by a truck, like, just very tired. But other than that, it was really like a minor cold. I wonder if I am just a superhero. Maybe. Well, then that makes me a superhero.
Starting point is 00:26:43 Hey, have you gotten tested for antibodies? Yeah, no antibodies. Nothing. So you haven't gotten it. Yeah, see, because I don't know. What if we did have it at some point? We didn't know. I got, I've been antibody tested all the time.
Starting point is 00:26:51 I've had to remain because I've been on sets and there are standards by the networks. So I've been tested all the time in every way. So Abby was so sweet to send, did she have to send all of us a note to make sure that we were comfortable if she was here?
Starting point is 00:27:07 I did send, I didn't. She didn't ask for permission. She just told us she had it. That's all she said in the note to me. Yeah, you were just like, hey, just say, you know, I'm going to be at work. I had COVID. I thought you would respond back and be like,
Starting point is 00:27:17 oh, I'm not comfortable with that. There was no question. I responded. back? You asked me. Yeah, you asked me. I was like, hey, as long as you're following whatever the guidelines are, like, what am I going to tell you? Yeah, I'm following the guidelines. What HR said. I asked HR. Yeah. Are you not? No, lunchboxes has been, like, hasn't even looked at me. He's like, do not look at me. Because if you make eye contact, you'll get COVID for sure.
Starting point is 00:27:38 Absolutely, guys. She said, hi, I just wanted to say I have been COVID last week, but it's been seven days so I can return to work after five. I don't have any symptoms. I'll be wearing a mask today just to give you a heads up. There's no question about, hey, are you comfortable with me coming to work, nothing like that. So she may ask you guys, but to everybody else, it was just like, I'm coming to work, just so watch out. But she can come to work. I'm not, but all I was saying is she didn't ask, like she says, she acts like, oh, I want to make sure everybody was comfortable. She didn't ask us if we were comfortable. She asked me. She can come in. That's what I'm saying. She asked Amy, but everybody else was, I'm coming to work. Don't worry. I don't want your opinion.
Starting point is 00:28:10 I added that to theirs later. Yeah, mine ends with unless that makes you uncomfortable. Oh, right. Yeah. I appreciate that. Yeah. That's what mine says. Let me see. Thanks, Abby. Like, Abby, why do you send that to only certain people? I did. I added it after the fact. You're a real one, Abby. I mean, geez. Yeah, yeah, just wanted to let you know, unless that makes you uncomfortable.
Starting point is 00:28:32 Thanks. I don't know what to say. Nothing like that to me. Just, I'm coming to work, so just be on the lookout. What did you reply to her? Let me read mine. Let me read mine. I said, looks like Kansas got you. No.
Starting point is 00:28:41 Can I read it, Abby, or no? You care? Sure. Well, yeah, I think I wrote a lot. Obviously, her's going to be different to you. Like, you're the... I know, but let me just hit it up here. Let's see how nice you're the bobby.
Starting point is 00:28:50 She wrote just a heads up. Happy New Year. You did great on the New Year's Eve special. Oh. Just wanted to give you a heads up that I had COVID last week. I started feeling weird after Christmas. I thought it was a cold or sinus infection. I got to test Tuesday and tested positive.
Starting point is 00:29:02 I talked to HR and I'm following the guidelines. I isolate for five days and I can return to work and wear a mask for another five days. I haven't had symptoms since the first couple of days. It felt like a minor cold. Anyway, I'll have a mask on at work through Wednesday. I don't want anyone to feel uncomfortable. There you go. With the new guidelines, though.
Starting point is 00:29:21 Sorry, I just wrote a book. Thanks, Abby. I guess she didn't say, do you feel comfortable? She said she didn't want to make anyone feel uncomfortable. Yeah, so I guess I thought you'd respond and be like, yeah, I do feel uncomfortable, so don't come in. I responded with, thanks for the heads up. I hope you're better. Yeah, I said, I'm okay with it.
Starting point is 00:29:36 Thanks, Abby, and glad you're okay. I mean, she really buttered Bobby up there. You did really good on New Year's. By the way, I got COVID. I know, but she had to throw that in at the beginning to. Abby's always sending the nicest notes. Not to me. What do you?
Starting point is 00:29:49 You and Abby, let's face it. You guys are like rivals now. You had a strained relationship in 2021. I don't know why, because I thought we had a good relationship when we drove to the crater in Diamond State Park. That seemed pretty miserable. And then she kind of went haywire on us. No, she went great. She went A plus Abby.
Starting point is 00:30:06 She pranked you. That's what we call her. A plus Abby. Abby brought great. The second half of the year, you really brought some quality content. Yeah, now she brought COVID. The strongest of the whole show, the firefighter segments, the prank on lunch. lunchbox. Like if I was ranking segments for the last six months, that's two of the top five from last
Starting point is 00:30:24 year. For sure. Yeah. So, uh, no, thanks, Abby. No pressure, but good job. I know. Yeah. But you're feeling better. You're good? Mm-hmm. Yes, I'm good. But I'm going to leave it right when we're done because. Good. Because of that. I was getting so many hateful messages because I was, I posted a picture. I said, hey, everybody's getting COVID tested coming to the house. And they'd be like, okay, or they'd sound like clown. Clown emoji. Like, you're a clown testing. And I'm like, guys, I have to work. Like, if I get COVID, I cannot work. So, suck an egg. And then I just stopped looking. But I saw on my Wikipedia, too, that someone said, Caitlin and I were pregnant. Mike, you see that? Oh, they can just change that on Wikipedia.
Starting point is 00:31:04 Congrats, man. The post on my Wikipedia said, a friend sent this to me. It said, we announced over the Christmas break that we were, that Caitlin was pregnant, that I said, on their baby bones is on the way. And I put a picture of a sonogram, but then took it down real quick, like an accident. A few things here. One, we would never call. call the kid baby bones. Ever in a million years. Second, she's not pregnant. I mean, first, first she's not pregnant, period.
Starting point is 00:31:28 Second, we'd never post a sonogram on Instagram story and just be like, okay, we're pregnant. If we were going to do something publicly it'd be on the show first. It wouldn't be on Instagram. I thought I'd be on Wikipedia. Another thing they wrote on there was, I went on the show to verify its truth after Christmas?
Starting point is 00:31:46 We weren't on the air. Oh, weird. So people just prank in the Wikipedia page, but it kind of got a couple news stories out of it. So between that and me leaving Idol being a big story, which was weird because I didn't expect that to be a story, it was a pretty news-filled
Starting point is 00:32:01 last week of the vacation. Unintentionally. Very much unintentionally. Yeah. Amy, what are you going to say? I don't remember. You look like it had something right on the tip of your tongue. I probably did. We've been playing a lot of nerds. What's that? Do you guys play nerds? No. Mike, you do?
Starting point is 00:32:16 Yeah. What is that? Really. I thought my Hey, Caitlin's sister made it up. What is nerds? Hey, guys, Mike and I are in a conversation. Anybody else play nerds except for Mike? Never even heard of it. Mike, see if you play the same way as I do.
Starting point is 00:32:30 Come over to the microphone for a second. It's a card game, and you're basically playing, this is a terrible explanation. Solitaire on your own cards, but trying to get points out on the big board. Yep. And get rid of cards. Get rid of it.
Starting point is 00:32:47 Yep. Same way. Same way. So I learned it at her house in Oklahoma And her and I play all the time You and your wife play? Yeah, we play all the time too Sounds like a turn out.
Starting point is 00:32:56 I don't even know how to play Solitaire You don't? I'm out, I never played the computer computer. No, never. I hated it when we first started playing it Me too. But after I learned it, I was like, all right, let's go. I thought it was the dumbest game ever. They were explaining the rules.
Starting point is 00:33:06 They were like, okay, these... And I'm like, this is stupid, I'll never like it. Three games later, I'm like subscribing to a nerds newsletter. So you just use a normal deck of cards? Yes, and you all use a different deck that looks different. Because that's how you know how many points you got
Starting point is 00:33:18 by how many cards you were able to play up in the top part. Okay. Cool. Yeah. It doesn't feel cool. Like kids will like it too?
Starting point is 00:33:24 Because my kids love card games. Yeah, I think so. Yeah, it says ages eight plus. Oh, cool. It's actually a game. Yeah, it has a Wikipedia. Well, it has to be because... No, no, no, but I'm asking it.
Starting point is 00:33:33 It's like a card game. Got it. Why is it called nerds though? No idea. But we posted it on Instagram. We were playing on story. And we got so many people going, we play nerds all the time.
Starting point is 00:33:44 Is it an acronym? I don't know Not that I know Ray what are you eating Gumb But it says The United States National Nerts Association
Starting point is 00:33:54 website has an official Nurt handbook Like rule book We've played most nights It's just a fun way for us To kind of hang out And flying down We played the five
Starting point is 00:34:03 A little series of The 5 over the past week And so finally wrapped And I L or ate a bunch of cards Our dog And so we had to buy new cards And I ordered
Starting point is 00:34:12 I just went to Amazon And order a three sets of cards and one of the sets came in and they were like they're like gold like part made up with gold like 24 karat gold and I looked at how much I paid for them $28. Dang it, bones. Or a deck of cards like an idiot. Did you click in the middle of night? And then they're hard to they're hard to see because in the light there's a huge glare on them but they're pretty awesome. You're lucky you didn't get like a miniature version of cards.
Starting point is 00:34:34 That's what I always get. I click on something like oh this looks good and then it comes in it's like the size of my hand. I'm like what do you mean? That was supposed to be like a flower pot like the size of like a bowling ball. I've done that where I go order groceries online you think you order an orange shoe like a jug of orange juice and you get it as an individual or thing. And you don't read the ounces? Nah, you just see the picture. Let's see. You guys want to compete
Starting point is 00:34:56 for a little cash? Yes. I do. I saved a $100 bill on my wallet. The same one that nobody won last time. Well, let's go. That was such a bad start. Ray, how long has this been? I'm guessing 35. It has been 33. Okay. All right. So 100 bucks. If somebody wants to call the post show,
Starting point is 00:35:14 You can also take a run at this. Is Abby on the phone? Yeah. It's not going to work, though. Why? It's going to go to voicemail. Why? It goes to the local affiliate.
Starting point is 00:35:26 Really? Okay. Call this number 210. No, no, no, no. No, don't do that again. Lunch, trucks his cell phone. We're not doing that. So we can't get a call at all?
Starting point is 00:35:35 These all go to voicemail, so we won't get them right now. Well, it looks like it's just us. There's got to be a way around that. No, there's not. Let's go. How about? What if Morgan they like face, they like call the Bobby Bone Show Instagram page, video call.
Starting point is 00:35:53 Oh, video call. We can give it a try. Or maybe someone sends you a direct message right now on our Instagram page at Bobby Bone Show. With their number. Just be like, I want to play for the $100. And we can get them on a video call on your phone. Okay. Not FaceTime. Don't give me your number.
Starting point is 00:36:11 But I'm saying like on the Bobby, you know, the Instagram. Yes. I talked to my niece on Instagram video. Yeah, it's easy. Okay. For 100 bucks, 100 bucks, you have a 1-100 chance. Come on. This is a dice.
Starting point is 00:36:22 It's 100-sided. If you guess the number, you win $100. Amy, you're up first. Pick a number. 32. 32. Your number is 69. Oh.
Starting point is 00:36:38 Boo. All right. Lunchbox for $100. $47. Your number is? Six. Trying to get in on this picnic. Eddie.
Starting point is 00:36:52 Give me 21. You love Red 21. Let's go. Hit me. Hit me. Hit me. 82. Oh, gosh, way off.
Starting point is 00:37:02 Mike. 33, he says. Pretty close. 27. Morgan. 55. 79. For $100, Ramundo.
Starting point is 00:37:19 17. Eight. Oh. Oh. Abby you can pick a number 13 please don't be 13 lunchbox will lose it
Starting point is 00:37:37 I'm not 13 I'm not worried about it 6 I figured she would go in 19 why COVID 19 that's pretty good that's pretty funny that's pretty funny
Starting point is 00:37:50 all right round two that's a good one okay I'll do 20 bucks 1 through 10 dice okay love it come on Amy Amy okay one
Starting point is 00:37:59 Third hand, seven. Lucky seven. One. Lucky one. Two. That's it. Two for 20. Yeah, baby.
Starting point is 00:38:14 Yeah. Show it to me. Hold it up. Hold it up. Hold it up. He's got it. The number is. He knows it's two because he's smiling.
Starting point is 00:38:20 The number is two. Yeah. Yeah. You won. You won. 22 is my year, baby. All right. Eddie yeah give me yeah two again yeah zero oh what zero ten oh Morgan seven
Starting point is 00:38:41 four ray hit me that two eight no Mike five guys it's gonna be two six oh Abby three all right lunch box yeah my year baby let's go um you know what I'm gonna get with this power ball oh what if he wins on that money amazing. Morgan, how's it looking? We have a chance or? Oh, yeah, we have several people. I'm just trying to get them to write their numbers back.
Starting point is 00:39:11 I sent your mind. You didn't report. Not their phone number, but can't you just FaceTime video them? It's an option in the chat. Do you want me to do that? Yeah, I'd rather do that because they won't know your number. Okay. Oh, that one didn't work.
Starting point is 00:39:25 Hold on. Let's try the next one. They don't want to go through. Keep trying. They may not be on. I think you've got to be following them, right? Oh, boy. You got us on it now.
Starting point is 00:39:36 Boy. All right, let me follow one of them. Nope, that's requested. Hold on. Oh, this one's not. Okay, here we go. Here we go. What's up with...
Starting point is 00:39:46 Nope. Scuba Steve did not get in. He's been traveling for... I mean, I think he just got home, but he was going to come right in. Is he awake? Can I call him, Ray? He never answered me.
Starting point is 00:39:55 He never... I'm not going to bother him. He's sleeping. He spent 48 hours traveling. Yeah. Trying to get here. I did get one of their phone numbers. Okay.
Starting point is 00:40:04 Give a call. Okay. If that works. And then we'll give them a chance. at 100 bucks and we'll give them a chance at 100 then a chance at 20 nice and then we'll go from there okay
Starting point is 00:40:13 thank you guys you can go to my Instagram Mr. Bobby Bones as well and see a video where I highlight a sweat suit set that sweatsuit set that Amy got me for Christmas you're gonna wear that out yeah of course
Starting point is 00:40:28 not for real come on for real for real it's got almost 400,000 views and it's that's which is crazy it's pictures of Caitlin all over the sweatsuit And then Eller randomly Why know Stanley? Because I was going through pictures on Caitlin's Instagram to add them there
Starting point is 00:40:45 and then there was one with Stanley that ended up The pictures had to line up just right. There was one with her and Stanley that I wanted to put on there but then it was mainly it just didn't look right and then yeah the leg one with Eller
Starting point is 00:40:59 it just fits. I was like ugh and I know I didn't want to leave Stanley off I should have added him. That's okay. How are we doing Morgan? Miller just got lucky.
Starting point is 00:41:08 I sent him to Abby. She's calling. Okay. Well, I guess we got to kill time then for a little bit. How long do you think we need, Ray? All right now. I'm clicking over. What does that mean?
Starting point is 00:41:20 Megan. I don't see anybody on the... Oh, oh, there she is. Hey, Megan. Hello, how's it going? Good. You're listening to the post show? Are you watching on Facebook?
Starting point is 00:41:29 I was watching on Facebook. Okay, well, we're going to give a chance to win $100 in cash right now. I'm going to give you more than one shot, though. I'm going to give her three shots. Really? Yeah, so here's what you're going to get. You can either do it this way. You can either pick three numbers and get it in one spin,
Starting point is 00:41:45 or you can pick one number for three spins. Megan, it really doesn't matter. Yes, it does. No. It does. Yeah, I would say it does. Have you ever watched Let's Make a Deal? If you were me.
Starting point is 00:42:02 I don't want to put you on it. I'll tell you afterward what I would have done. Okay, I would go three numbers in one spin. Okay, that's kind of what I was leaning towards. Because you have a 1 and 33 shot, if that's the case. More than a 1-100 shot three times, and neither one of them matter. They're not connected to each other. Right.
Starting point is 00:42:21 So I would say I would go three numbers. So do you want to do that? Yeah, yeah, I do. Okay, go ahead. Pick three numbers. Okay, I'm going to pick 2, 3, and 7. Oh, she's staying all small. 2, 3, and 7.
Starting point is 00:42:35 And she gets one rule? One roll. For $100 cash. from my wallet. All right. I can tell you this. It's a single-digit number. It is?
Starting point is 00:42:49 Interesting. So she has, there's only nine single-digit numbers. She has one-and-three chance. Come on. I can tell you that it's not nine. Uh-oh. Now she has a one-fourth chance.
Starting point is 00:43:11 Is that right? It's not eight. She has a one two and seven It's not one Oh Two and six One so it's either two three Four five six seven
Starting point is 00:43:25 And she has two three and seven The number is Six Oh That's crazy Um The second number would have been Seven
Starting point is 00:43:40 15 The third number would have been Eight Okay, I'm going to give you a chance now to win $20. Okay? You get one shot at this, one through ten. Go ahead. One through ten.
Starting point is 00:43:58 Three. Five. Tough man. Bomber. I know. Megan, what are you doing today? I start up vet school again tomorrow, so just trying to get my life together. Where are you going?
Starting point is 00:44:11 What school? I go to NC State. Oh. What do you mean? which by the way unfortunate athletically Well that's a day Yeah
Starting point is 00:44:22 College of Baseball World Series And then they Oh I know And then out of the You didn't have a bowl game right Didn't you guys have to back out of your bowl game Well UCLA back though But they didn't get to play
Starting point is 00:44:31 Yeah Yeah that sucks Sorry about that Do you care? It's my grad school I care more about my undergrad A little bit because I Had my brother playing on that baseball team
Starting point is 00:44:45 For Wright State which is a smaller school, but they were doing pretty well in the college world years, too. So you went to Wright State as an undergrad? Yes, it is. That's pretty cool. And then you studied what there? You have a degree in what? Biomedical engineering.
Starting point is 00:44:59 And you always knew you wanted to be a vet? I did not, actually. I sort of fell backwards into it. How do you fall backward into being a vet? Do you love animals? I do. I originally wanted to do engineering, and then I thought I wanted to do my school, and then I decided on vet school.
Starting point is 00:45:16 You know, on Yellowstone, they bring the vet and they don't work on humans alive because they're like, just bring the vet in. Yeah. You know that my dad brings that up all the time. I bet you know a lot, though, about how to fix a wound. Yeah. My uncle was the town vet in a small town, and he did all kinds, worked on all kinds of humans because he was a large and small animal vet, so he knew how to do a lot of different things. What do you do at vet school? Do you work on live animals?
Starting point is 00:45:41 I work in a large animal hospital sometimes, and while we're learning, they'll teach us physical exam skills on the animals as well. Have you had to stick your, in a large animal like a cattle? Have you had to go in? Yeah, that's pretty normal. And that's not even her at work. That's just her getting up in the morning. Yeah. I know we pay to do that right now. Let me give you something. I can probably give you a beanie baby. Do you have like a cow? What do you want?
Starting point is 00:46:14 Oh, a large animal. I give her a koala. A koala. Oh, I love that. Oh, I was going to give her an animal. Yeah. But the koala's not large enough for her? I don't think so.
Starting point is 00:46:22 They're small. Hold on. Okay, hold on. Let's see. But also, she might have to work at like a zoo. Like if you have an elephant or something, it would be cool. An elephant. My dream is to go into zoo medicine.
Starting point is 00:46:34 Oh, it's a dream. Give her a koala. What the heck is this? That's a cow. That's like a, yeah, cattle. That's perfect. Hold on Let's check his butt
Starting point is 00:46:42 Yep Put your fist in there Perfect Yep Okay Do you want me to sign the tag Or not I do
Starting point is 00:46:50 I would love that All right Megan I'm sorry You didn't win money But I will send you This is Bessie Cue Bessie
