It's time for the Bobby Bones Post Show.
Here's your host, Bobby Bones.
Welcome to everybody, watching on Facebook or listening to the podcast.
There's a list of the worst foods for your health from the World Health Organization.
Bacon, turkey bacon, fried foods, potato chips.
Turkey bacon.
Well, I like it when they actually say what a food is because a lot of these crap's like processed oils.
I never know what I mean to processed oil.
I don't know if the oil's processed or not processed.
Do you ever just eat oils that aren't processed, Amy?
Is that a thing?
I don't know what they have to do to make.
make oils, so are they all processed?
That's my question.
Is there other oils that aren't?
Yeah, you have to make oil?
Hydrogenated fats.
Again, they list all this stuff and I thought it was going to be like,
cinnamon toast crunch.
It's processed oils, hydrogenated fats,
processed meat.
I'm not eliminating that.
I like my meat extra processed.
I like my meat so processed it hurts.
I don't even know what processed means.
They need to dump down these lists.
They need to dump down these lists.
Because they're like, okay, we're going to share all the food.
The World Health Organization says bad.
Hydrogenated fats.
If one walked in the room right now, I wouldn't know it.
They could introduce themselves to me as Mr. Hydrogenated Fat.
And I'd be like, well, fancy to me you for the first time.
It's New York Post.
I was very disappointed by that story.
When I was driving in today, I saw two yellow automobiles, both new.
A yellow truck and a yellow Mustang.
And I thought to myself, who would buy a yellow car new?
I understand if you've got to have a car and you buy one,
and the only one you kind of likes yellow.
And you're like, well, I really don't want yellow, but.
It's a good deal.
Let's eliminate that.
I saw a yellow Mustang and a yellow.
Both of them were new.
And bright yellow, right?
I mean, screamed yellow.
Who would buy yellow?
But who would buy yellow?
But hard people buy yellow.
Like Ferrari, Lambo.
But you're with those two cars, yes.
You're screaming.
With those cars, though, you're screaming, look at me anyway.
But even then I would buy a red one or a black one.
Yellow just seems like the worst color to buy for a car.
Yeah.
Like it doesn't look good.
And it says, I need you to look at it.
me. I thought you were going to say, because I, crazy, yesterday I saw two yellow, I think
Ferraris. Legit. They were parked, like, by Chipotle, backed up in, they were backed up,
like, backed in the parking spots. And, like, everyone was gathered around their cars.
For some reason, I don't hate a yellow Ferrari as much as I hate the yellow truck that I saw.
Yeah. It was like a yellow, it was like a yellow tundra.
Oh. So, like, yeah, like, why would you want to bring attention to yourself?
You're like a working man that needs a tundra. Why are you trying to get in a hot yellow?
Maybe the yellow was a deal.
Yeah, I don't think so.
Maybe so.
Maybe it's the last one they couldn't sell.
Maybe it's their favorite color ever.
$50,000 off.
And they knew one day when they were able to buy their first car, pay for it on their own, they'd get yellow.
What were the, okay, name five colors you would buy.
If someone's like, here's a new truck, go.
White, black, gray.
Yep.
Dark gray?
Okay.
Pearly white.
Well, you go pretty basic, huh?
Oh, yeah, for sure.
I don't want any color on a car.
I mean, I love red.
I know you do.
You don't like red?
Uh-uh.
Not on a car.
I don't.
Red's not my favorite.
Huh.
You, Eddie, colors?
I mean, red.
I like red.
I like blue.
I like green.
Yeah.
I like black.
And then sometimes when like, if it's the right car.
If it's the right car, purple looks kind of cool.
Oh my.
Cool.
Now I'm my 11 year old son.
I'd go purple over yellow.
Yeah, because it's not so.
Look at me.
Yeah.
Purple over yellow.
But I'd probably just.
not drive.
Just kidding.
Amy hitchhikes,
you won't get in a car.
I would go red,
black, white.
But I don't want
any of the soft ones.
Like gray.
Like, go black then.
Okay, but you made me pick five.
I think I went white black.
I'm going red,
black white,
blue.
Blue.
Yeah.
Force green.
Deep green, dark green.
Yeah, dark green is cool.
It's hard for me to see the difference
in those colors.
Yeah, but.
It's pretty.
Would you ever go?
I like Scoobo Steve's blue truck.
It's a good color.
Oh, yeah.
That's a lighter blue.
It's called Calvary Blue.
Nobody cares.
But people, you have to.
Somebody just named that truck, Calvary Blue.
There's a, no, I just want to say, like, for me personally.
Silver.
Did you say silver?
That's pretty cool, huh?
Silver's cool.
Yeah.
I'm just not drawn to a lot of color.
The phones are ringing.
Is that us?
No, it's for the local station.
I hate that.
We can take it, though.
Why not, right?
They don't take calls in middays.
Right?
I don't know.
Ray,
just answer one of them
and see who they're calling for.
All right,
clicking on it.
Yeah,
I don't want to answer it.
Hello?
Hello?
Hello?
Hey, what's up?
Who are you calling for?
I'm calling for the $1,000 giveaway.
That's going to be a problem.
Oh, no.
It's a text in-to-win contest, right?
It's a text end-to-win contest, isn't it?
Usually are, yeah.
Hang up.
No, I'm not just hanging up on her.
It's the only line ringing, so that can't be the situation there.
Are you there?
Yeah.
Is it a...
I didn't understand.
I knew it was when you guys played boondocks.
So I just called.
Yeah, it's not call, right, Scuba?
I'm checking my SIFT emails, Steve.
What do you go next door to the studio and be like, are you all doing a giveaway right now?
Mike, what is it?
Well, you know, other topics, like, I'm a huge fan.
It's terribly exciting to talk to you guys.
But who do you think we are?
Thanks.
I assume this is Amy and Bobby Bones.
It is.
It is, yeah.
Hey.
I recognize those voices.
I listen to it every day.
Okay.
Well, you.
Lunchbox wanted to hang up on you.
He felt uncomfortable.
Okay, here we go.
Hold on.
You doing the, are you doing the four?
Hold on, scroll up, Mike.
Are you trying to do the 480?
power play?
Yeah.
Okay, scroll down now, Mike.
Online keywords.
Online keyword.
So when you hear it, you have to go, right?
Scova?
Yes.
To the website.
I think it's the big 98.com.
And then enter the keyword.
Oh.
Okay.
Well, I've been excited.
Do you want to talk with us?
Do you want to talk with us?
You want a chance to win some money?
Absolutely.
I have a hundred bucks if you can nail the number.
It's not the $480K play.
It's the $100 from Bobby's wallet a day play.
Okay, if you pick a number one through 100, I'll give you 100 bucks.
Okay, and the dice is stopped now.
Pick a number.
11.
49.
We're going to give her another shot, though.
Okay, good.
Pick another number.
32.
99.
Oh.
And one to grow on.
One more.
57.
76.
Oh.
What color car do you drive?
Oh, good question.
Black.
If you had to pick your five favorite car colors, what would they be?
black, yellow, red, copper, white.
Why did you go yellow at number two?
She has no idea that's what we were talking about.
Hey, ask because she drives a Mustang.
Do you drive a tundra?
No, because she just said her car was black.
Oh, yeah, that's true.
Some question, Eddie.
What is your name, by the way?
I'm sorry, we didn't even ask your name.
Brandy.
Well, Brandy, we appreciate you calling.
You can enter the keyword and try to win that money.
otherwise we're grateful that you listen to the show.
All right.
Well, thank you guys.
You have a great day.
And you'll be able to listen to yourself back if you go to the post show podcast.
That's true.
Like if you...
Okay.
All right.
Bye.
All right.
Thank you.
Let's fuck start to hang up on her.
He goes, hang up.
Well, I mean, I was like, we just cost her $1,000.
Just hang up.
Like, we got to get out of it.
Oh, yeah, we intervene.
That's what I was like, I was like...
What if like Brooke next door is about to pick her up and we're like, hello?
But it's not a phone answering to you.
I know.
I said, what if?
Okay.
What if Brooke grew wings out of her butt and flyed in here?
Possible.
What?
I said, what if?
Before we knew it was a text thing.
I'm saying what if back in the beginning of the phone call before we knew.
Hey, speaking of money.
Wait, do you guys use Venmo a lot?
Yes.
Me too, right?
All the time.
So it's just an app and you pay people through your phone, basically.
Amy, someone made a Venmo mistake and paid you money.
Yeah, like Claire or Cindy or something, but she accidentally paid me $35.
I don't know what Amy.
was trying to pay, but I was not... And what was in the note? Well, there was multiple notes.
The first one was, hey, I accidentally paid you. Can you pay me back? Then she sent a request for
$35 for me. But then I wanted to verify that I actually got paid the $35 of this was some scam
where I'm going to just transfer her 35 back. But also, it happened over like on Friday and then I
wasn't really on my email through the weekend. So I missed the notification. She sent so many messages
to me. And then they started to get a little bit feisty. Like, hello, I need my money back.
And I'm like, I didn't do anything wrong. Are you sure this wasn't a scam?
Yeah, because I did have $35 from her and I did transfer it back to her problem solved,
all taken care of. But, you know, I just was like, man, she really, and I get it, she maybe
really needed that $35 back. We read them. Yeah. But what was the initial one, Amy? Because, you know,
when you pay someone, you have to put something down. Yeah, like pizza party or what she? Usually
put something.
Like Starbucks order.
I've heard of scams
where people go, hey.
No, it's not a scam.
I got paid.
Says the person who bought a cat
from San Luisiana.
Wait, 85.
Oh, that's my balance.
85.
See, now I'm negative 35 to Cecilia Hill.
Oh, you just said her whole name.
Oh, my gosh.
Or Sylvia.
No.
You're going to try to change it.
Can we edit that?
Receiving a random Venmo.
We're live on Facebook.
Yeah, sorry.
Receiving a random Venmo transfer
is not always an honest.
mistake. In fact, scammers use this
high-tech twist on a classic
con to trick you into giving them money.
The fraudster might use a stolen
credit card or bank account number to transfer
several hundred dollars to your account and send you a message
going, oops, can you send that back? The money
that you send then goes to the criminal's personal card and the stolen funds
are removed from your account. Oh, my goodness.
I know. Did I?
No. Amy got a scam.
I think that the notes are in my email. Where can you find the
notes inside Venmo?
First one says, sorry, wrong Amy.
And then they got more...
That sounds kind of legit.
Yeah.
Wrong Amy.
No, I really think...
Mike, you think it's a scam?
No.
She just commented on your payment.
Sorry, I sent this to the wrong Amy.
Can you please return?
Thank you.
Why would you be in her phone?
Oh, she just looked up your name.
Yeah, which my name isn't Amy Brown in there.
Go ahead.
Hold on.
I'm trying to get...
I don't know if I deleted these.
Hold on.
So that's the first one from Celia.
View comment thread.
I'm going to kill you.
I'm going to put your body in a chopper.
They got a little more aggressive.
I saw you walking.
Now I'm just seeing the payment thread.
I don't know.
Now I'm clicking links and I don't want to go to her page and see if she's like a legit
person.
Does she pay other people?
Does she have friends?
Well, I'm not.
I have to accept friend request.
I don't want to press it.
Wait, she requested you the friend?
Yeah.
Which means it's a scam because if it was an accident, she wouldn't request you.
transactions yet. What?
Yeah, you got scammed. Between you?
Amy. Did I? Oh, no.
See, there's more messages than this, but see up here, $35.
Sorry, wrong Amy. But why does she have no other transactions?
And then her next one is, sorry, wrong Jim, sorry wrong Samantha.
It's all down. Yeah. I think Jim and Samantha are really original names to go with.
Who's named Jim and Samantha anymore? Do you know it, Jim? Yeah. I'm her only transaction, guys.
A what?
I'm her only transaction.
Yeah, you got scam.
Oh, that's because that's between me.
Feed.
I feel like 90 years old right now,
because I don't know how to go to Venmo.
Wait, say, Mike.
Yeah.
No, I can't see feed because I'm not her friend,
but then it also says no transaction.
Except their request.
No.
You can then unfriend her.
Yeah, then unfriend her.
See, accept it that way,
because she obviously wants to be your friend,
so accept it and see what other transactions she has.
It says she originally paid me for a vision board.
Oh, yeah.
A vision board.
I vision her stealing your money.
That's what it says here for $35.
She paid to me, and then she was begging for it back.
But did she pay somebody else after you for a vision board?
I can't see unless I accepted her request.
She can't do anything.
What do you think she gets a key to your house?
I don't know.
This is scary.
But even if she does accept it, it's going to take a while for her to.
approve it. No, no, that girl has to be her friend.
She has 76 friends against.
Do it now then, Amy.
Let me see if we have any mutual.
No.
Accept it.
Let's go.
Now I'm going to be friends with...
No, then you can just...
This could be one of those stories like on Thanksgiving
where the guy goes to our house every year because he sent her a tech house.
I don't think Amy wants that, though.
Well, it depends.
Okay, confirm.
Okay, okay.
Maybe you automatically mix his friends and she requested it.
But still no transactions yet.
Oh, no.
Let me see it.
Only between me.
That's it.
I think she got you.
Is this person real?
Oh!
How did this happen?
Is this really a thing?
I just read it to you.
It's a thing.
It is, Mike?
I've heard about it before.
I got got.
We never heard of my dumb enough fall for it.
Yeah.
And I'm pretty sure Venmo says, like, once it's done, you can't do anything about it.
Hold on. Mike's got some breaking news.
Well, sometimes if you request somebody who you never paid before, it'll ask you for, like, a code.
It'll last did you.
you to their phone, right? Yes, yes.
But I just skipped that and go, not paying me.
Yes, so she paid you without confirming, which means that it's a scam because she would have
realized, oh, wait, I don't know.
But she paid me, though. I had 35 positive in my account.
It was money that wasn't hers. It was money from like a stolen account.
It's she money laundered through you. Do you understand?
Am I cleaning money?
Yes.
Okay, we don't know this is true or not. We're speculating a lot here.
We know, bones.
We're doing a lot of speculation here.
Ask her to come on.
Do you understand, Amy?
The money is dirty.
and therefore by sending it to you, she's cleaning it, and you just returned it to her.
See, on Friday, she wanted to be my friend.
Yes.
It says on Friday, she was requesting to be friends with me.
That was the first.
Now, Bones, would you go through all this trouble to clean $35?
But she does it to a bunch of people.
She sends it to 100 people.
Right.
And you see how many of the 100 fall for it.
But the problem, yeah.
Because if she says, she hit you up, Amy and said it's the wrong Amy, right?
Once she realized it was the wrong Amy, why did she still send you a friend request?
Maybe she did it when she was trying to get the money back.
Because Amy said it was before the money came through that they sent the friend request.
What are you looking up now?
Trying to find all my notes from...
Amy, lawyer up.
Yeah.
They're coming after you.
Oh, man.
This is a bad look on you.
You're a money launderer.
I just saw it.
Oh, the cartel is looking for $35.
Wait.
They'll tap them.
And they're not going to stop until they get it.
Sorry, that was on Friday.
Then she wanted to be friends with me.
They have like billions of dollars.
Sorry I sent this to the wrong Amy.
Can you please return?
She sent me another note.
And I don't know.
Let me look at my trash.
Because maybe I do that.
Hurry up.
The scam's about to run out.
I got to close this account.
That was her next one.
Amy, you've been scanned.
Amy, we read so many stories about this.
I can't believe this right now.
I'm almost in...
You're almost in tears?
Yeah, now I'm in tears looking at the one.
You completed her $35 charge request.
Hey, listen, she sent...
This is the other note.
She sent me.
You are not the correct person.
This is my second request
for you to return my money.
Oh, man.
Should do gun emoji on that one, too?
And I'm like, this is not my fault.
Mexican flag.
Gosh.
Oh, no.
Oh, no.
Sorry, Amy.
Oh.
I'm trying to find you
your name on here.
Yeah, because I'm not.
Yeah.
Are we not?
We don't pay.
I've never paid you on Venmo.
I don't think so.
Amy, let me see your phone.
What are you going to do?
Don't worry.
There's nothing worse she can do with it.
At least it was only $35, not $350.
Right.
What's your account?
What's Amy's name?
Razor.
Amy.
Oh, like.
That's right.
Okay, it's in here that she says she did pay you.
So you got plus 35 and then you sent it back.
Yeah, yeah.
But the scam is they use like a stolen credit card to take that money from that.
And then you send them money.
So then they have double.
And then if they get that money taken back that was stolen, they still have 35.
Watch the money. Wait, but did you send it with Venmo money or did you send it with a credit card?
Vimmo money.
If it's with Vimmo money, she should be fine because that doesn't have a credit card on it.
No, but it's still her money.
But like, you can, it will either pull from a bank account or from Vimbo.
I have a Vimbo balance because that's how.
And if you pull from your, if you pull from Vimmo balance, I think you're okay.
I have a balance because everyone on the show.
I'm still going with you got scammed.
Everyone on the show VINMOed me for your Christmas present.
So I had money left over.
You all contributed to this.
So they took some.
some of our money too is what you're saying?
Oh, great.
Wonderful.
Great day.
Thank you.
Well, whatever.
I thought it was just one of these, you know, I thought I was going to do a PSA here real
quick with this story to be like, hey, triple check who you're Venmoing because I accidentally
got paid and then I had to pay the woman back.
You got to have the lunchbox mentality of, sorry, bye, what is it?
Yeah, money's gone.
Sorry.
You have to.
Actually, I did think a lunchbox when I was paying her back.
Lunchbox would not pay her back.
No.
He would ignore it and be like, you're $35 out.
I was like, wow, she must really need this $35.
I feel bad.
I think she scammed you.
A few days to see it.
Amy, they go after the week, the kindhearted.
Yeah, they don't come after me because they know I'm not going to get the money back.
And once I get money in my Venmo, I know they had to say, pay without confirming phone number.
That means they had two chances not to pay me and realize it's the wrong person.
And once they do that, sorry.
Sorry.
Last thing, Amy, before we change subject.
Nothing.
Good?
No other message from her?
Well, I'm just reading.
This doesn't seem like this would be from her based on her photo.
If I look at how she might speak from her sweet photo,
you are not the correct person.
This is my second request for you to return my dollar sign.
Sounds like somebody from the other country.
It didn't even, there was no period.
She didn't say money or whoever didn't say money.
They said dollar sign.
And it was very like return my money, but it's like her accident, her fault.
Like if I did that to someone, I would be like, oh my goodness, I'm so sorry.
I'm so embarrassed.
Like, is there sorry to be a.
annoying, but I just really need that money bag.
And the scammer gets stern because they want you to be like, oh, like in a frantic...
Send her a request now for that money bag.
Oh, well, I...
Let me see if she's my friend.
And then the reason why?
Because you scammed me.
Now that I'm friends with her, they're going to probably scam me more.
Oh, yes.
What if she's real, though?
Now you'll have me convinced it's a scam.
It is, Amy.
There's no doubt.
Right, I'm on to you, babe.
Say that.
Well, now we're friends.
And still no transactions.
that I can see.
Just me.
Send her your home address in.
Your friends.
What does that mean?
That means she has no trade.
Why hasn't I paid her back yesterday?
Why hasn't she paid the original money?
Wiping them all away.
Or the original person she.
Oh, God.
Simply our money gets stolen.
Wow.
All right.
Hey, request 100 bucks from her.
Pain and suffering.
No, I'm going to, can I unfriend her?
Let me see.
Can I see what she looks like?
I'm unfriending.
I'm going to see if this.
it's a scam, if a stock photo.
Oh yeah, Mike, can you reverse image?
Oh, yeah, this is stolen from someone's Facebook page.
That's not a real lady.
Like, they went and took her picture.
She looks like a real lady.
Let me see the lady.
She just looks like a lady.
Let me see her 77 friends.
That's a real person.
Yeah, but those are maybe people she scammed.
Yeah, they took that off her Facebook page.
It's all people that she had friend requested and accepted her.
Oh, yeah, that ain't real.
Really?
That ain't her.
That's not her.
that any.
Gosh, Amy.
That's generic 40-year-old woman
that stole off Facebook from Iowa.
Yeah, for sure.
Yeah.
Well, okay.
Well, sorry about that name.
Well, I didn't lose any money.
I just washed it.
Well, yeah.
Yeah, yeah, you're just a victim.
You just helped.
But this is probably phase one of the crime,
and then now that I'm, yeah.
Now that you're her friend, she knows everything about,
she's packed your phone.
She's got to have access to your account.
Yeah.
Okay, well.
Interesting.
We'll switch topics for a second.
Eddie was talking to a friend about, and he was asking about how we watch all these TV shows.
Yeah, we were doing like a double date thing on Zoom.
They live in Amarillo.
No, love it.
They live in Lubbock.
And they're talking about how like, man, we'll listen to the show every morning.
I take the kids at school and listen.
You guys just watch so much TV.
Like, how do you keep track of all these shows?
Like, how do you have this time or whatever?
And I said, well, like, Bobby doesn't have any kids.
So I guess he watched a lot.
Amy doesn't really watch the show.
She just kind of like puts them on.
And I guess I have one show.
Lunchbox doesn't really do anything.
So I guess that's how we do it.
But he's really impressed because he was like, man,
you guys, every time I turn on,
you have a new TV show that you guys watch
and you watch the whole season already.
Yeah, I find pockets and then watch binge it.
And then we have about an hour and evening we set aside to be
deliberately together, eat dinner, watch a show.
And so we watch one show.
at a time, and we binge it as much as we can
on the weekend. But
yeah, I mean, we don't watch a lot of TV, but we
do watch, we try to watch a show. We don't have a show
right now. We're about to get into mayor of Kingstown.
Mayor of East Town? No, it's a different mayor.
Kingstown. But there was a mayor of East Town.
Yeah. Yeah. Mayor. Her name was Mayor.
Oh, and this is the mayor? Yeah, I haven't watched it yet. Is anyone on the show
watched that show? Yeah, a little bit. Oh yeah, you said you've watched
it, quit. I heard it's great. But I mean,
you probably need to pay attention.
You know a show is real great when I think it's great
Because I'm not even getting the full thing
Like I honestly I finished Ozark
But I could the exciting part is
I could probably go back and watch it again
And I would see things that I missed the first time
This season's maybe the best of Ozark
Really? Yeah the first half of this last season four
Mike do you watch Ozark?
You don't?
You didn't like it?
That people on Ozark do what that woman did to Amy
Yeah they longer money
Yeah I really liked Ozark
that's how Eddie.
Okay. Well, and I told him, too, I was like, that's kind of part of...
Lunchbox watches a lot of TV, though.
Yes.
He probably watches the most TV.
He just watches reality stuff.
And like Law & Order.
No, I don't watch Law & Order.
My wife watches that, but right now we're watching American Auto.
It's new on NBC.
I see that on Peacock sometimes.
It's hilarious.
Like, it is so funny.
Oh, is that the one of the Saturday Night Live Girl?
I don't know.
I don't know. I don't watch Saturday Night Live, so I don't know.
But it is really, really fun.
American Auto is 30 minutes, and we
watching on Peacock and we laugh
it is so funny. What are you watching on?
Peacock. Isn't that what it's called? He loves saying that too.
That is what's called what? Peacock.
Okay. Yeah. What are those little
critters in the ground? The ones that people have in their houses
like, oh, there's a... Cockroach.
He loves it. He loves it. He loves it.
How would you say it? The last time he said it wasn't so bad, but I would say
peacock. We're watching on on Peacock. But you go,
Peacock!
Oh, Peacock.
But Amy says
Taco Bell
Taco Bell
Yeah and Saturday Night Live
Saturday Night Live
It's just
You're not saying it
You're not saying it
Okay
You just like
You like saying that
You like to say it
I don't, that's just how I say it
I've never thought about how I said it
I just say it when I read it peacock
Okay Bobby
You're hilarious
Yes of course
Okay just making sure
Bobby's so funny
He just sent me a Venmo thing that says
I sent you money by
accident. You do that right now, then?
$35.
That's brilliant. We'd all get in on that.
I'd start doing that too.
Okay. Let's see.
Kanye West sold a $500,000 tank.
A literal tank.
Like an army tank?
Wait, do you sell that to the rock?
To the rock?
No.
Amy, I'm like you. Sometimes I read a story and I just make stuff up.
I have no idea what I just read.
Oh, Vin Diesel.
Kanye West struck a deal with the Diesel Brothers.
There's two guys.
They have like a reality show.
I knew it's something like that.
And I don't know them, but they're like bearded and...
They wear beanies.
Yeah.
They're like strong guys or something.
I know who you're talking about.
Oh, the tank looks awesome.
Last October, someone from Kanye's team reached out
looking to see if they'd want to buy the Ripsaw he was trying to sell.
And so they rushed down to his Wyoming ranch to pick it up.
It was reported that Kanye bought it for $500,000.
Heavy D, one of the Diesel brothers, wouldn't say how much they bought it for,
but that Ye gave him a sweet deal.
the DVD player is built into the dash of the tank
but for whatever reason it only plays a K-pop music video on loop
they don't know how to turn it off
that's annoying
yeah the Diesel brothers made it big when their YouTube videos caught the attention of
Jay Leno who brought them on his show and they have their own
TV show on Discovery now it's from TMZ
Discovery Plus has a lot of shows and your sister's show is going to be on Discovery Plus
right? I don't know
I think it's going to be on HGTV
which is a Discovery Plus
Streaming service.
Discovery Plus is the overarching
HDTV, Magnolia.
Yeah.
There's a lot of those networks on there.
I'm pretty sure
Yeah, well, so when they aired the sneak peek,
it aired on, I just went to the HDTV channel
on Hulu and that's where I watched it.
But I'm sure, yeah, if you had the app.
Yeah.
We'll see.
Is your sister going to be famous?
I don't know.
I don't believe in fame anymore.
Yeah, it's very relative.
But like some of these HGTV people,
I go to their Instagrams and they have like hundreds of thousands of followers.
What do you mean by that statement?
Fame is so different from when we were kids.
There were 1% of famous people.
And it is way less than that.
But now instead of 1% of really famous people, it's like 30% of people have some a little bit of fame.
They're still famous though.
Yeah.
This is a lot more.
But fame is not a thing anymore.
There's a very few people that have fame.
There's some people that have fame.
What is fame?
That's Taylor Swift.
Fam is Oprah.
Fame is Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift, Oprah, the rock.
They have people and drivers.
But then there are people like the Diesel Brothers, who I wouldn't know who they were, but to some people they're famous.
Or some of the TikTok stars.
There's a lot of people that have fame.
But there's very, very few people that have fame.
Oh, the difference.
I got it.
Yeah, yeah.
And with big fame, you had to do your hands.
Fame.
Yeah.
Yeah.
There's just a lot of people that have some sort of fame based on their niche, niche that they're in.
So HGTV would be a niche.
But let's not get it twisted, though.
Not everyone's famous, even though like some people go viral or whatever.
You're not famous.
Well, you can be famous for a minute.
Right.
And I mean, some people are super famous at being an expert in broccoli.
In some building paper airplanes.
And to a small group of people, you're famous because you're an expert and you're famous to whomever.
There are people that I see that.
I'm like, oh, my God, I can't believe.
And I have no idea who that is.
For example, we were listening to some music and Dave Matthews came on it.
She was like, if you're like, if you're not, I see.
walked in the room, I wouldn't know who that was.
It's crazy.
And I was like, Dave.
She goes, no.
She goes, I kind of picture him to look like.
And she mentioned a comedian.
The long, red-haired guy from...
Carrotop.
No, no, no, no, no.
Silicon Valley.
Oh, yeah, yeah, I know you're talking about.
What's his name, Scuba?
T.J. Miller.
Yeah, she's like, does he look like T.J. Miller?
Nothing.
And I was like, no.
And I showed, and she goes, oh, yeah, I wouldn't know who that is.
And the conversation we were having was, people that are super famous to her.
I don't even know who they are.
10 years ago, there weren't really those people.
Let's say 20 years ago.
There weren't really those people
that were super famous to somebody
and not famous at all to others.
You just knew all the famous people
because they were famous.
But now there's 10 million shows.
There's 100,000 Instagram accounts
that specialize in something.
So I don't believe in fame.
Bang!
As much as I used to.
Got it.
I mean, there are people on TikTok
that couldn't,
I don't know, walk down the street
every day for a month and not be recognized,
but they have a million followers.
And if they go to one specific place, they'd probably be recognized because of what they specialize in.
So, all right.
Thank you.
Anything you like to say?
I don't think famous as valuable as it used to be either.
That's true.
You can be famous now and be broke.
Yeah, it's like watered down.
You can be broke, be famous and broke.
You can also.
Excuse me?
Look at lunchbox.
Thank you for calling me famous.
I don't think he's neither.
I don't think he's famous or is he broke.
I was rude.
No, it's not.
That is rude.
I don't think you're famous.
but also don't think you're broke.
I'm pretty famous.
I don't understand.
Are you broke?
How many people listen to the show?
Are you broke?
No, I'm not broke.
I mean, I got a car in a house and...
Right.
You know, I'm good, but...
I don't want to get in the fame argument
with you about how famous you are.
But I'm not rich like I want to be.
But there is a niche of people that know lunchbox.
I would say that some people know the lunchbox.
Yeah.
The niche that you're talking about.
But I would say that he's not famous as famous as Walker Hayes, though.
Correct.
Why do you guys always bring a...
Money is relative.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Moving on.
Money ain't relative.
Yes, it is.
Money is money.
Money is money.
Well, but wealthy, what people define as that can be as relative.
Ray, how long we've been going here?
We are looking at 31 minutes.
All right.
I feel pretty good.
Seemed longer.
Well, we spent like 29 of that on Amy's scam.
I didn't mean to.
Sorry.
No, we're good.
All right.
I didn't bring that as a scam.
I brought it as a...
Yeah, that's crazy.
Like, what would y'all do?
Would you pay her,
back or not.
Yeah.
And then you found out you've been scammed.
It's a scam.
Yeah.
All right.
That's it for today.
Appreciate you guys.
Oh, you want to cancel money?
Yes.
Yes, yes, yes, yes.
All right.
You think we'll ever hit this?
100-sided dice.
Eventually.
Yeah.
Aim, pick a number?
24.
78.
Mike?
12.
Lunchbox?
47.
62.
Dang it.
Eddie?
It's my lucky day.
21.
99.
Oh.
That's twice today.
Morgan?
34.
21.
You kidding me.
One away?
21?
He holds up that dice like we can see what number.
I know.
I can't see it.
Away the camera.
Wow.
You can't see it.
It's just small.
Ray?
Oh my gosh.
54.
58.
It's good, Ray.
We could always just say the number at the same time, too, if it ever gets to where you guys don't believe me.
No, no, we believe you. I just don't, I can't, we couldn't see it like when you pointed to it.
Scoobie, Steve?
23.
Not one in your second.
Abby, 13.
What?
Bobby, we can't see it.
I can see it.
What's I say?
13.
There you go.
I mean, I am closer, but.
Much closer.
All right, I give a chance of 20 bucks. Pick 1 through 10.
Here we go.
Amy, go.
A four.
Four.
What?
All right, and that's a wrap.
No.
Just like that.
That's crazy.
Hey, Vegas doesn't shut down after somebody wins.
Vegas wins money back from people.
You guys should put a dollar up against my 20 every day.
No, that's dumb.
I'm going out tonight.
Really?
Yeah.
You go to the convenience stores.
Mike, I think you'll be that on.
Seven.
Nine.
Much box?
Two.
Oh, oh.
Come on.
No roll.
No roll.
Who dies?
Three.
Eddie.
Two.
Six.
Four.
Hold on a second.
Let's say them at the same time.
Okay.
Five.
Wait, no.
How's it going to work?
Don't say the number yet.
Okay.
Ready?
One, two, three.
Six.
Okay.
Ray, don't say it yet.
One, two, three.
Five.
Scuba.
One, two, three, one.
Four.
Oh, I missed.
Abby.
One, two, three.
Five.
She said nine.
Nine.
Don't mess around.
All right.
So Amy really made money because Bobby gave her the 35 on Venmo.
He didn't give me and he requested it.
I'll request it.
You didn't get it?
All right.
That's it.
You guys have a good day.
We'll see you tomorrow.
But Bones, for that to work, you have to steal.
You have to steal money.
What do you mean?
For Amy's thing to work.
Yes.
Yes, they have a stolen card.
So when you asked, did you just get a stolen credit card?
Huh?
When you asked Amy for money.
You're old.
Stop.
You're old.
I want to hear this question because I'm not sure what you're saying.
The way the scam works is you steal a credit card and then you say it's $35.
Then you ask Amy.
You sent Amy the stolen money.
Yeah.
And you say, hey, I've just paid you.
Pay me back.
Yeah.
Did you pay Amy?
No, I just said, give me 35.
Oh, that's stupid.
All right, forget it.
I just straight requested it.
I thought you stole a credit.
I thought you went through all the motion.
For the bit, I hacked someone.
I stole someone's ID.
Yeah.
You're going to do it, do it right.
Anything you like to say?
Thank you for my $20.
You want it, not me.
Fair and square.
All right, that's it, everybody.
See you tomorrow.
Bye.
Bye.
