It's time for the Bobby Bones Post Show. Here's your host, Bobby Bones. Hello, researchers found that a majority of men consider themselves smart, even if they don't have proper education on the subject.
Starting point is 00:03:09 I feel this happening everywhere with politics and COVID. And mostly from men who are like, oh, I know all about it. Oh, yeah. It's like, but do you? There's no, you don't. I don't. Yeah, we're not doctors. And even politically, like, can you tell me how a bill has passed?
Starting point is 00:03:29 No, no. You vote on it. Not you. The people argue. But anyway, women are not as bad. They are likely to admit they're not an expert on the topic. But in general, men are the ones that are like, I don't have any reason to think I'm smart at this,
Starting point is 00:03:43 but I know I'm smart at this. Also, what they found on the study is that guys more often than women prove their points by using themselves as a source without any other reason. That's from study finds. So I do want to mention this, too, just as a little note, that we've been hearing from some folks that they wish the podcast was posted earlier.
Starting point is 00:04:06 Now, we try to time it out to after the show airs in Pacific time zone. And I know that can be annoying if you want the show right when the show ends. What we're going to start doing to actually help with this is that we're going to give you the first half of the show a bit earlier after the first half is aired. So you have something. And then we're going to give you the back half, the second two hours or whatever on the right after that so they'll be like part one part two yes just so people can have it a bit earlier i was talking with scuba about it last week and it is something that i hear from a lot
Starting point is 00:04:43 especially people if they live in boston or raleigh and they're like we need to hear the podcast but why should we have to wait until sacramento here's the whole show and so that's what we're going to do we're going to post the first half of the show then the second half of the show and then if we feel like doing a post show, we will, just like we do now. I feel like the more content we can give, the better. So, scuba, am I correct on everything I just said? I'm speaking for scuba. Is he even in there?
Starting point is 00:05:12 No, he's in the other room. Handling business? Yeah. Go ahead, Ray. I believe so. Okay. Sounds good. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:05:19 Ray, I saw you guys went to Disney World this weekend. Yeah, we did. That was all my wife on that one. What was, like, what was the inspiration? Do you have a good time? What happened? It a great time. We had a hook up there.
Starting point is 00:05:28 I get to fly free because I'm a companion pass. and my wife's obsessed with Disney, so I said, you know what? Yolo, let's go. So did you have to book it way out? No, four days ahead. And where did you stay? We were a little off resort. This was about 20 minutes away, but we went Epcot, Magic Kingdom. We did two of them. There's probably like five parks, probably even more than that. Did you have a great time?
Starting point is 00:05:49 We had a great time, yeah. We did we did TikToks. We did pictures. We did almost as many rides as we could at. At Epcot, you can drink. So we did as many drinks we could go there, but. As many rides and as many drinks? Magic Kingdom, though, is dry, so you really can't drink there. You have a top five things you learned from Disney? This will help some other people out, too. Okay, let's go number five. A lot of the rides are handicap accessible, so it was pretty cool seeing people
Starting point is 00:06:15 rolling wheelchairs, riding the same ride as you. Cool? Yeah, especially the boat ones that go slower. They can get on that. I like that. Number four? The cutting situation at Disney. It's totally accepted.
Starting point is 00:06:27 People have a couple friends waiting in line. get ice cream or get like some lemonade or something then I mean we got cut by dozens and dozens of people was anyone yelling like hey you can't cut nobody really says anything I at times wanted to be that guy but I wasn't yeah because you're like this not the vibe yeah I went mouse style and didn't say anything so and here's what I would think about it if you all got in line together at the beginning of it and then two people left to go get the group I have no problem with that because those four spots were going to be taken anyway so but if two people wait the whole time and then two other people like oh
Starting point is 00:06:57 there's Eddie there's Eddie there's that him Morgan, let's go get in line with. I'd be pissed at that. Which was it? It was, yeah, people were at the same time. So yeah, it was totally allowed in your view, yeah. I wouldn't have been mad at that because those spots would have been taken anyway, because everybody got there to be in line. Anyone disagree? No, it's fine. Hey, good. Uh, number three. Yeah, number three, we have wait times. They'll stay at the very beginning of the ride. 60 minutes, 80 minutes. Most of the time they're off. We were kind of like bored, so we would time them all out. Some of the ones that said 60 ended up being 40. Some of the ones that said 60 ended up being 40. Some of the
Starting point is 00:07:31 The ones that said 70, maybe they were 90, so they're never exact. Yeah, I think it's just based on kind of where the line extends to. Averages. I got very lucky that when I worked for American Idol, that's ABC, which is owned by Disney, so we got to go with a fast pass, and we had an ass course to put us on all the rides. It's awesome, and I saw Stephen Tyler. There? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:55 Walk, drive his item. Well, that's cool. Yeah. I was like, Steve Tyler, what up? He's like, what's that? Is he going on rides? I don't know. He was waiting for a ride.
Starting point is 00:08:03 I don't know what he was doing. He had just left something. I just lost something. It was awesome. Number two. Splash Mountain. I believe that way. Yeah, it was Magic Kingdom.
Starting point is 00:08:10 That needs to be renamed. It's not Splash Mountain. It needs to be like drenched Mountain because I can't tell you the heavier set dads that went on this ride were completely soaked the entire. The entire day at Disney. So they need to be worn to that. So Splash to Drinched. Yeah. Heavy set dads.
Starting point is 00:08:25 Why were the heavyset dads more drenched than others? I pushed it a little faster. Yeah, something like that's physics. The dad's in the front right. Front right, dad, if he was over 200 pounds, got absolutely demolished by a wave. And the number one thing you learned from Disney. Steve's probably going to be mad at this one, and I'm sorry, but the Magic Castle is totally fake. It's like graphics on the outside of it.
Starting point is 00:08:45 Steve's already looking at me, but so from a distance, it looks, oh my gosh, the Magic Castle. But if you get up right to it, it's all graphics and it's digital on the outside. What? You get up to it, it's just like light blue and kind of pink. And when you go inside, it's just one floor. A digital castle sounds cool. Yeah, you can eat in there. Why scuba yelling?
Starting point is 00:09:03 Because he likes Disney and he used to live right there, but I'm telling you, from the distance, it looks a lot cooler than it is right next to it. But you know it's not really a castle anyway, and it's not magic regardless of what it's built. And the princess doesn't live in there. Is that where the beast lived? No, the beast was at a different castle. Because I saw your Instagram, and the beast is walking around. That was awesome.
Starting point is 00:09:20 You ate at that place? Yeah. Oh, that's not cheap. Man, I was so mad. That ruined my trip. Because I had all the kids and everything. We show up, and somebody said, you've got to have. lunch with the beast. Sure, the kids would love that. When the bill came, no, it wasn't even when
Starting point is 00:09:36 the bill came. They said, sir, it's $80 a head or $60 a head or something. Right before we sat there and we had reservations, we waited for 45 minutes. I said, what? Like, that's going to be so much money. That's the most I've ever spent on a lunch and it ruined my day. Did you go? Yes, because we were already sat down. I would be mean, just leave. Yeah, I'd imagine it's not a... That's brutal. And I was like, for that much money, I want the beast to sit down and eat with us. And he never did. They stopped by and say hi? No, he just walks by and waves.
Starting point is 00:10:05 He doesn't stop with anybody? No, he doesn't talk to anyone. They bring him in, say hi to the beast. You get a picture? Nope, no pictures. So the price per head for child is the same as adult? Per child. I'm like, my kid doesn't want a filet mignon.
Starting point is 00:10:16 What is this place? I was so angry. It ruined my day. That's crazy. It sounds like he ruined your life. And then my wife was like, you got to get over it. It's just a loss. Is he still bad?
Starting point is 00:10:24 Now we know. Ray, anything else you'd like to say about your experience. It was great. And we squeezed it into a weekend, too. But yeah, people with parents, Eddie, God bless you, man. People with kids. I'm with parents. That one. I texted my dad when I was at Disney World and said,
Starting point is 00:10:37 Dad, thank you for taking this one when I was 12. Like, I now understand the sacrifice because it was very expensive. Ray, glad you had fun, buddy. Ray says he was disrespected by someone on the show while we're talking to Ray. Who disrespected to you? So Lunchbox went on Amy's Four Things podcast, and it was something they titled it. I don't know exactly, but it was like gratitude and I don't know.
Starting point is 00:10:58 lunch cried about something or they talked about sad stuff and books. We mostly talked about sore losers. First of all, I've had like everybody from the show on and then lunchbox. I've not been on. Yes, you have. Oh, we early on. You're right. You're right.
Starting point is 00:11:09 I think I've been on. Yes, you have. We all get offended. What year is this? Yes, you have. Amy, it must have been 10 years ago. Well, Ray, what happened, man? Yeah, in the description.
Starting point is 00:11:18 So Amy posts her four things, boom, go listen to her podcast. There was a description and said, lunchbox from the sore losers that he does with Eddie and Scuba Steve. and then it just continued on with more stuff. Scuba was on one episode. What? He has to say Ray. Who did that? Who wrote that? I do. I write the description.
Starting point is 00:11:37 And then it said lunch is the host. Brasier, we're all co-hosts on sore losers. Damn, Ray just taking it left and right. Dang, man. Amy? I have to look it up. While you're looking, we'll stare. And say, I'm sorry, Amy.
Starting point is 00:11:52 Do you see it? Hold on. I get the date. Sometimes I don't know if I texted in or email it in, but... Hey, Ray, I have a question for you. Yeah. As Amy's looking for this, Mike D found the original note that you sent December. What?
Starting point is 00:12:05 Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Um, okay. Bobby Bone Show co-host at Radio Lunchbox joins Amy for this episode. They cover many topics from sports. In parentheses, Lunchbox has a sports podcast with Eddie and Ray called The Soar Losers. Think it was changed? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:21 Okay, somebody changed it that fast. Mike, did you change it? No. Did somebody change it? Yeah, it was changed. I mean, there's shots all over the internet. Oh, screenshots. Oh, screenshots.
Starting point is 00:12:32 Screenshots. Like, man, they did Ray like this. They did Ray like this. Like, ooh. How did it get changed? Amy, you're asking the wrong people. We don't handle that. Somebody went in and changed it then.
Starting point is 00:12:42 And if I put Scoo Steve, it was a typo. That wouldn't be a typo. That would be an accidental. Right. It would have been a typo. Okay, good point. Good point. Ray, the original message that you sent was December 4th, 2021.
Starting point is 00:12:59 You came on and you even, maybe you, did Ray bring this on the show? That's the one. Oh, did Morgan bring it on the show? Well, I don't want, I mean, we can, we're not going to get deep into it if we did it on the show a little bit. It says, I think I figured out. Oh, no, no. So it was Ray's country music secret. Yes.
Starting point is 00:13:14 Was that somebody was getting divorced? And that was last year. Was that Sam Hunt? And I confirmed with my wife, it was not. Oh. I want to say that. I was right and it's kind of sad to be right, but it was not Sam Hunt. And the person that you predicted getting divorced, are they divorced yet?
Starting point is 00:13:30 Yeah, not only are they not a divorce, I believe that another kid. So, yeah. So your catching meeting secret was wrong. Yeah, that one was definitely wrong. Sorry about that guy. Thanks for being honest. Interesting. Morgan, were you at a party where Sam Hunt was? Yes. So it was in December. We were at a bar. It was the guy's birthday party and there were several like industry people.
Starting point is 00:13:53 there. Sam Hunt was there and he didn't have his wedding ring on. I was like I have a feeling something's going on because he was, you know. And that was December of last year. Yeah. I knew I had like a gut feeling and so you thought that was probably Ray's country music secret. I thought it was.
Starting point is 00:14:09 Yes. He had been pictured too, I think it had done for promo pictures or something without a ring on. And so people were like, why isn't it wearing his ring? So this must have been happening for a while. Yeah. And in the way that he was acting, yes. I think that's what was going on. elaborate.
Starting point is 00:14:24 Yeah, like, why didn't you know, I mean, I need... The way he was acting, like, talking to girls? He was flirting. Yeah, I mean, he was having a good time. I don't know that extended beyond that. I just know what happened at the party. With you? No.
Starting point is 00:14:35 Listen, I thought he was married. I was like, this man does not have his wedding ring on. Something's going on. I don't know what's happening. We just saw it. And we really didn't stay there that long, so I don't know what happened beyond that. There was a... And I don't know if it was any sort of breaking point.
Starting point is 00:14:49 It sounds like not. It sounds like he already didn't have his wedding ring on in December. that there was an influencer who had posted. Did you see the story? Maybe she was in Las Vegas. She was like, Sam Hunt just invited us to hang out at a bar. And then people were like, you know, he's married. And she's like, well, he wasn't hitting on us.
Starting point is 00:15:01 He just invited us. And that was kind of a big thing over maybe last week. But obviously he wasn't wearing a ring and wasn't acting married then. But the news that's out now is it that he filed? She filed? She filed. And I don't even know when exactly she filed. Okay.
Starting point is 00:15:23 My, what? She filed Friday? We don't know anything, right? I mean, we literally know nothing except what we read on TMZ. But I remember seeing that influencer story. But yeah, Suckie sucks for her, hard. Everyone involved. She's pregnant?
Starting point is 00:15:40 Yes. That's terrible. I mean, they didn't even want the, they weren't going to announce that she was pregnant publicly. They were very private, private couple. But yeah, it's a really crappy story. I told Amy on the air this morning live. She was like, what? Getting heard about it.
Starting point is 00:15:55 Yeah. I know. I know. Well, I hope they can find the happiest situation for them. And if there is a way to fix whatever can be fixed, great. And if there's not okay, you hope they can provide a healthy, stable situation for the kid when he is born. I'm not going to sit here and judge other than say it sucks because I don't really know what happened. and also we all suck sometimes.
Starting point is 00:16:28 I mean, that's the truth of it. And at some point, I'm probably going to do something. I don't know what it is. It's not in much of calendar yet. Shocking. And I just hope that people realize that I am a human and I screw up too. And they go, yeah, not good. Work to get yourself back.
Starting point is 00:16:48 And when you get yourself back, great. We'll welcome you, but it's going to take some effort and some work on your part and we'll see you whenever you're ready. And I hope that happens to me because I think that we don't know their situation. So let's not act like we do and just kind of let them live their personal lives personally. But weird story to bring up a talk about this morning
Starting point is 00:17:08 because when you kind of know people, again, I don't hang out with Sam. But it's still, I mean, I know them, so it sucks. Didn't know any of that. I mean, I don't know any of that. Sam and I are like buddies. Yeah. But yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:21 Anything you'd like to say? No, I'm definitely, it just in different. It makes me think of sometimes how I react to, like, people in the spotlight that I don't know at all or never have any interaction with because I kind of don't. I'm just like, oh, interesting. And then with this, I'm like, oh, that sucks that, like, she's fine. Like, her stuff is made public and she's got a, being pregnant, just the stress that you're under. and then the fact that you're experiencing so much stress while carrying a baby.
Starting point is 00:17:53 But again, I mean, there's both sides. There's gaps. I mean, we know her side because she's the one that filed. And there's probably just a lot going on. Either way, it's not a happy situation if you're having to file something. And I just, yeah, that's just a very difficult time to have stress when you have a baby growing inside of you.
Starting point is 00:18:11 I don't know any situation, but it don't look good on him. Right. You know, so I don't want to say both sides have a story. No, I don't know. I know. I know, but what I'm saying is she might not even want her side out there, but because she had to file it and have it written, then now it's public knowledge. Because she probably needed to have it, like they make you say specifically why. They do.
Starting point is 00:18:33 Well, I think if you want, maybe if it's not amicable in a way, then it's more in your favor for financially. They said Tennessee where they live is a no-fault state. I don't know what that means. I don't either. It's a no-fault state. Mikey may look that up. I don't know anything about divorce.
Starting point is 00:18:53 Heck, I just got married. I'm just getting married. I'm like, I'm like, I'm like a hundred. I'm like, because you couldn't you file and say irreconcilable differences? Because that's what, but I think if you're getting specific, it's because it needs to be noted or something.
Starting point is 00:19:07 Yeah, yeah. This is like us talking about medical stuff. Or maybe she wanted it out there. Okay, or lunchbox to be right and she doesn't care. I'm assuming. I'm assuming. you know. I'm assuming that
Starting point is 00:19:18 I would assume not. Don't want that stuff out there. Yeah, me too. That's my assumption. And that it sucks. And so, yeah, that's my thoughts on that. There was another one that came out. There was a little shocking.
Starting point is 00:19:27 Don't know them. But they say Alec Baldwin may not have pulled the trigger. Really? Like the DA is now thinking maybe he did not pull the trigger. That doesn't mean the gun couldn't go off. And I'm not quite sure what the difference. The difference is it. What if the gun just went?
Starting point is 00:19:43 What if he just had the gun and went like this? Shook it? and it went off. But Bones, he's come out and said that he pulled the trigger. Alec Baldwin may not have pulled the trigger on the gun that killed the cinematographer. The DA says it's possible
Starting point is 00:19:55 that you can pull the hammer partway back and let it go and the gun still fire. Right. I don't know that's what we had heard. But it's like, boom. Ali Baldwin swears he did not pull the trigger on the gun. Yeah, I don't know. I just believed you because you said that.
Starting point is 00:20:09 I saw this interview, and I mean, maybe he said he pointed the gun and he says he did not pull the trigger. And now there might be evidence to back them up. They did some testing of the gun in question. You can pull the hammer back without actually pulling trigger and without actually locking it. So if you pull it back part way, it doesn't lock and you let it go.
Starting point is 00:20:27 An FBI analysis on the weapon is still pending. I also saw a story on a little lighter note that said this guy had an old Terminator, original VHS copy of the Terminator movie. And if you have stuff that's sealed, even like a video game, it's going for like thousands of dollars. Really? But the guy, let me get the number here.
Starting point is 00:20:47 A pristine VHS copy of Terminator just sold for $32,000. What? The copy of the film from 1984, the original release was on sale. Only three days. And again, it's a VHS tape. It's a, you know, put in your VCR. That's from baller alert.com. Dang.
Starting point is 00:21:02 My favorite sites to go to. Baller Alert. Love some baller alert.com. I have VHS tapes somewhere. I have Mission Impossible. Yeah, but they're not sealed. Pretty woman? Perfect mint condition.
Starting point is 00:21:12 Oh, true. An Olympic skier suffered a frozen penis. during the cross-country race. Man, I saw this. Stop, what? No, and it's real. What? Because at first I'm like,
Starting point is 00:21:20 all right, where's the fake news? It wasn't fake. So what happens to it? A skier from Finland suffered a frozen penis during the men's 50-kilometer cross-country race. He even had to thaw it out
Starting point is 00:21:29 after with a heat pack, but despite it all, I came in 28th at a 61. Skier Remy Lindholm from Finland suffered a frozen penis. What? Quote, it's one of the worst competitions I've been in.
Starting point is 00:21:41 It was just about battling through. When the body parts started to warm up after the finish, the pain was unbearable. Oh, that's terrible, man. Wow. Does that hit you hard?
Starting point is 00:21:49 That hits me hard? But frozen and like it turns into ice? No. I mean, I don't think so. Frostbite? Well, it didn't say frostbite penis. And I think he said it was the second time that's happened to him. That's not good.
Starting point is 00:22:00 Well, then he needs to wear extra batting or something. Or have like. Yeah, dude, don't go commando on this snow. Put a jacket on it. They have those hand warmers. You could stick it in his fans. The ones you shake? Yes.
Starting point is 00:22:12 Yeah, we lived in those Breaking Valley bones. I mean, so many. So many of those. What in the world? Are the Olympics over? I don't know. Yes, they just ended this weekend. But that's the general sentiment.
Starting point is 00:22:24 Did the Olympics start? What the heck's happening here? Are the Olympics over? I can't believe you guys didn't watch the Olympics. Nobody did. It was so good. It was so good. Yeah, nobody really did.
Starting point is 00:22:33 Except for the stupid Russian skater getting to skate even though she cheated. That was really stupid. I don't know anything about a lot of those events. Neither do I. Like I know running. Go fast. I run. You run.
Starting point is 00:22:44 You beat a. everyone else. Yeah, I know basketball. I know a lot of the summer Olympic sports. Winter, I mean, I know they're flying the air and I'm like, wow, that was freaking amazing. They're like, oh, is they going to be deducted to 84 points? And I'm like, why? Why? It was amazing. Or when they're going down the slopes at 80 miles an hour trying to hit those little gate. I mean, it's crazy. I mean, I don't, but again, I don't even understand. I've never been skiing. Either fine. So it just all looks easy. I'm just like. Nothing looks like anything. To me, I'm like, anything I've ever seen. And if you're going to fall on something, snow would be nice.
Starting point is 00:23:12 No, it hurts. Not when you're going 80 miles an hour. Never, I don't know. I don't know. Here's a voicemail from Gary in Tampa, Florida. It's number two, Ray. Something happened that I just want to ask the opinion of maybe Bobby or viewers. I've recently got married, and my wife hyphenated her last name and did not tell me until months later, and I feel very disrespected, very hurt.
Starting point is 00:23:33 I just want to see how other people would feel and their advice on what I should do. That's interesting. And I'm a big pro if you want to hyphenate it. If you don't want to change it, don't change it. If you want to change it, change it, change it. But to hide it, that's where the issue is. That's the disrespect. It's not that she did it.
Starting point is 00:23:49 It means like, say I was Eddie Garcia, Amy Brown. I was Amy Brown Garcia. So the guy's last names are included. It's just hers is awesome. Yeah, but she didn't tell him. Yeah, she didn't tell him. She hid it for months. That's not cool.
Starting point is 00:24:05 But he clearly didn't create a safe space for her to share. Why is it his fault? Why can it be her fault? I'm not saying it's his fault, but there could, There's like obviously some communication issues here that maybe she has lack of trust from past relationships or he did something to make her feel as though she couldn't share that or he would feel. And I mean, honestly, that was a voicemail so we can't clarify. Did he feel disrespected that she hyphenated her name or did he feel disrespected that she hid it for several months? I would think it's because she didn't tell her for months.
Starting point is 00:24:34 I mean, that's the point that he made there. Okay. Well, then. That sucks. But why? So why, but why didn't she want to tell him? Well, I don't know. I'm not rooting it.
Starting point is 00:24:42 I'm addressing the problem that he brought up. Okay. Well, she should have told him, but... I agree. And maybe it's because he's crazy. Maybe he would have said no. I don't know. But we can't address that.
Starting point is 00:24:56 We can address what was asked of us. Would you be upset? What do you do? What you do is nothing. I mean, I guess you go, why wouldn't you tell me? And that you goes, well, because you were, I really wanted this and you were really,
Starting point is 00:25:06 we're creating a story here. But it does suck. I would say this is not off to a good start. That does suck. And, yeah, off to a good start's a good point. Like, what were the conversations? I think before you just get solely mad? Because I think initially you get upset and go, why don't you tell me?
Starting point is 00:25:25 But you got to look at her side of it too. Amy had the point of why would she do it. Like, without us inventing a story, I don't know. Hopefully. Did she present it? What if she never presented it, though, and she just did it? Oh. You know, we'll create that story.
Starting point is 00:25:38 Then I'd be mad. Yeah. If she did present it and this guy was not nice about it and he's like, I don't want it. And she's like, no, I really do. I feel different about that. He sounds surprised by it though. Yeah, like they didn't even talk about it. Yeah, if she just didn't tell him straight up and never mentioned it, never asked for it, that's odd.
Starting point is 00:25:54 That is weird. Here is AJ from Indiana, voicemail four. Morning studio. Need some advice. My son's name is Brandon. He plays basketball. Is it okay to yell out, let's go Brandon during his games? Just curious.
Starting point is 00:26:07 Thank you. Oh, no. I would say, Go Brandon. I would say, let's do it, I mean, it's just, do you not know what Let's Go Brandon is?
Starting point is 00:26:17 Uh-uh. I'm like, Where have you been? What planet have you been living on? Okay, well, remind me? No, not reminding you, you never knew. Well, yeah, because I'm like, what is the problem?
Starting point is 00:26:28 Let's go Brandon. Oh my gosh, Amy's Channing, let's go Brandon everywhere she goes. No, I'm not, but if I had a... Okay, so here's the root of the story. There was a NASCAR race. When? Months ago.
Starting point is 00:26:40 Months ago. And the crowd's yelling, F, Joe Biden, F, Joe Biden. And the announcer goes, I think they're yelling, let's go Brandon. Oh. And so that has become code for F. Joe Biden. Oh. And people wear shirts and hats. And they do it in the melody of, uh, uh, uh, uh.
Starting point is 00:26:57 Oh, wow, I much prefer let's go Brandon. Because when I drive by banners that say F Joe Biden and I have to explain my kids. Or just F on the road. Yeah, like, I'm like, why do you have a banner stickers too? a billboard in your front yard. I don't care who you're effing. Keep it off the street. Right.
Starting point is 00:27:13 Okay. Thank you, but that's it. Let's go, Brandon. I mean, this is just one of those unfortunate situations. He needs to be able to cheer for his son. His son needs to be know that he's cheered for. Yeah, you can say, come on, Brandon. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:25 You got this Brandon. Nobody thinks you're at your kid's basketball game making a political stance. No, they do that stance. It's done. But yes, if his name's really Brandon, I don't think, I think you can just do whatever feels natural. But it's, you know, to be named Brandon, That sounds interesting.
Starting point is 00:27:39 My friend Alexis. Even worse than that, my friend Google Home. He just has his life's totally changed. Ruined. Thank you for your voice smiles there. Let's see. I know. I'm glad you all worked that out with me here because I can't be the only person that didn't know that.
Starting point is 00:27:59 Other listeners would be like, what's the problem? I'd like to pull the room, though. And I want everybody to be honest. Be honest. Did anyone not know what Let's Go Brandon meant? Anybody but Amy? Everybody has heard that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:11 Yes. I mean, it's... If you click on a website, it's there. Wow. That's crazy. It almost felt like you live in a cabin on the woods with no internet or heater wandering nowadays. No, some days I know a lot. And then other days, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:28:25 It's been a while, though. Okay, let's go. Hey, pull up that no-fault divorce thing again, Mike, real quick. Tennessee is not a no-fault state. Did it say that in the article? Okay. Tennessee is, okay, I knew it said something about it. I didn't even understand what it said.
Starting point is 00:28:46 So Tennessee is not a no-fault divorce state. Grounds for divorce are required to be proven for a divorce to be granted unless both spouses agree to be divorced. All of the divorce terms are agreed to and the court approves the divorce settlement terms. Okay, so that's why she had to say why. Right, if it's not amicable.
Starting point is 00:29:05 But does that count, though? Well, because I would think if you, both want it. You get together and you're like, hey, look, this isn't working. Let's go file. We just write down, you know, like that irreconcilable differences and we both agree, but that's obviously not the case. And also, I was reading that if you do say that there is cheating, you can prove that they spent a lot of the family finances on the cheating, like trips and gifts and stuff, you can be compensated for that. Oh. I don't know. Hopefully, I never have to delve into this. No. No. No.
Starting point is 00:29:38 Especially for you guys. Wait, why us? I never know with you, crazy kids. Let's see, Trebion. Don't say anything, Amy. Anybody remember who Trevion is? Kid. He's a kid. Yeah, I know.
Starting point is 00:29:51 Who? Well, he's the kid in Florida. No. Yes, but no. Nobody remember Trevioniont. Lunchbox is thinking of the kid that was killed. Yeah, Trayvon Martin. That's what I thought.
Starting point is 00:30:04 Amy's, like, big brother at a kid. Oh, yeah, yeah. Trevion in North Carolina. Yeah, my mentee. Uh-huh. And so she tried to find him. And she did. A listener found him.
Starting point is 00:30:15 Yeah. How long ago did you mentor him? It was in North Carolina. I don't know, probably 2011 or so, maybe. Yeah, when you were living there. Yeah. And so you... Over 10 years.
Starting point is 00:30:28 And you mentored him because you were adopting your kids? Well, no. I just... Well, some of my friends from church were during this mentor program. I had moved there because my husband was in the Air Force, and I still didn't spend tons of time there, so it was really hard for me to get to know people because when my husband would go to Afghanistan,
Starting point is 00:30:44 I would come back to Austin and do the show with y'all. And then when I was there, my job was the show, so I worked out of my house. So some days I wouldn't even see people, and I'm like, I got to get out, I got to do things. And I remember people being like, so what do you do? They thought, they're like,
Starting point is 00:30:59 so I heard you just like, you know, do an air quotes, they'd be like, a radio show in your garage. Like, I think they thought I just sat there and recorded myself. And I'm like, no, no, I'm on like a real show. But anyway, I got, I started to volunteer to be a mentor so I could do something in the community. And I got matched with Trevion and, like, I would go to his school.
Starting point is 00:31:21 And then we started hanging out and we'd take him to dinner and do different things. And he wanted to be a chef and my neighbor, Chef Warren and Southern Pines own the restaurant downtown, Chef Orrin's. And he would like show him how to cook. And it was like the nicest restaurant in town. And we would go get to sit at the bar. and he had like a front row seat of watching like chefs at work. And so it was really cool.
Starting point is 00:31:40 And yeah, when I was doing our adoption training, because we were open to any race and Trevian is black, like they told us, hey, if you're going to be a white parent and you're open to any race, like you have to go put yourself in a situation that your child might be in. You can't always just be around white people. So go see what that's like. And they told us to go to an all black church.
Starting point is 00:31:59 And so I asked Trevion, he did. And he's like, yeah, come to church with us. And like the pastor was really nice. He's like, oh, you know, we got any visitors here today? I mean, we were... Everybody whips their heads over to Amy. Yeah, Trevium is like, stand up, stand up. I'm like, I think they know.
Starting point is 00:32:13 I'm like, right here. So he was just a part of our, like a lot of my, like a year or two there. We spent a lot of time together. And then we moved away. And I lost touch with him. And someone found him. He said he went to LaCorde on Blue, which is a cooking school. He said he's mastered like American French and Asian cuisines.
Starting point is 00:32:34 He's worked. He's still sheffing it. He still, yeah. He was like a 12-year-old kid that was obsessed with the food network. And I was like, yes, chase this. Like, go after it. This is what you need to do. And I just wanted to be, no.
Starting point is 00:32:47 Wow. No, but I wanted. You're the reasoning. You did this. So wait, so did you find him? That's not at all what I'm saying. I said, I wanted to be a cheerleader for that. Because one of the first things he said to me when I met him, he's like, I think I'm like the only person in my family without a record.
Starting point is 00:33:02 And I was like a record deal. And he was like, no. No. Like a record. But he, so, and yeah, so I messaged him on Facebook after the listener found him. And he messaged me back. And now we've been chatting. And he, I told him the food in Nashville is awesome. And if he ever wants to come, like, I have Southwest points.
Starting point is 00:33:24 Like, no, so I don't want him to feel weird about that. I've got points. Just fly. You can stay with us. I'd love for him to meet my kids. And let's go eat and have good food and hang out. So we've been messaging about dates for him to come visit. That's awesome.
Starting point is 00:33:38 How old is he now? Gosh, he's got to be like 21, 22. And is he working somewhere? I don't know what you call. Is he a chef somewhere? Is he learning to be a chef somewhere? I don't have all. I don't, we've just messaged back and forth like a few times,
Starting point is 00:33:52 but he said that he's, he said he had made some good choices, some bad choices, but he's on the right track right now and doing well. And said he's been a part of opening like a brewery and was even featured. featured in the news about it. Like, I don't know. He's got projects and things that he's working on. And no, I want to clarify. I know y'all making fun of me.
Starting point is 00:34:11 I was not, he did this. I was saying I wanted to be a cheerleader for him to do it. So that's why I would like take him out to eat. And wear a cheerleading costume as he did as cooking behind him. No, but it's so cool to see that he knew that as a little kid. That's what he wanted to do and he's doing it. All right. I think we're going to wrap.
Starting point is 00:34:28 I'm starving. I got 20 bucks on my table. I don't know how I won this in the game. That's right. Okay, Mike, do you know where the 10-sided dice is? It's right there in front of any. Oh, that's the big one. I mean, we could do it a different way.
Starting point is 00:34:44 I could roll the big ball, and if you pick the... The number that it doesn't land on. No. If you pick the lead number, like if you say 30s. Oh, got it. Oh, here it is. It's the same. Same odds.
Starting point is 00:34:59 I got one. Mike found it. Okay, 20 bucks. I only have one 20 bucks, though. So whoever goes first has a better shot. me pick number one through 10 six two Mike oh I felt through the crack oh well there you go all right we're gonna do the big ball okay if it and pick the 10 the 10 range okay same one 90s 59 lunchbox whoa drop that well that went through the
Starting point is 00:35:32 crack too hey I've been out for a week guys I've been out for like 30 days I've been out for like 3 it. All right. Did you find the 10 while you're down there? That one's black and it's dark down there. All right. Also, Eddie was the house last week and he saw the green at my windows. I did, confirmed. I've never seen those before.
Starting point is 00:35:54 Yeah. Crazy. I've been there out, like so many times. Never seen that. All right. Lunchbox? Yeah. 40.
Starting point is 00:36:01 51. Oh, man. I missed it by one. Eddie? Zero through 10. 26. Dang. Oregon?
Starting point is 00:36:09 24. Eddie, if you'd pick 21, you'd have one. If you'd have picked your normal. I understand. But you threw me off with a whole 10. What'd you say, Morgan? 24. 42.
Starting point is 00:36:20 Ray, I mean, Eddie, if you just picked your normal, you'd have it. Ray, 70s. 42 again. Scova. 20s. Okay. 48. Abby?
Starting point is 00:36:38 19. Hillary? 78. All right. That's it. Nobody wins against you get to keep my money. Dang, another day. I'm starving, so I shall go home.
Starting point is 00:36:51 Let's all hope for a big, big Arkansas win tonight versus Florida. Oh, yes, dude. They're playing in Florida. We haven't won there since 95, I don't think. I got $2 in the account. I will bet it all tonight. It was Arkansas minus one.
Starting point is 00:37:03 Dang, you're broke, dude. You're struggling over there. Not until the March. I put some real, that Tennessee game, I told you guys, bet it. I hope you guys did. Put some scratch on that? I did.
Starting point is 00:37:13 I'm not telling you with this one, though. If only have $2, you don't even be betting. That's my last two. Last me until the end of the month. Ray, anything you'd like to say? No, yeah, I couldn't bet it. I was out of the state. But let me know the next bet.
Starting point is 00:37:25 We'll do it on the couples count. He just said tonight. He said, no, he's not saying. I think we're going to win tonight. Yeah! We are, it's about even. And in the line. So I think we're going to win tonight.
