They start with a soil test and climate data to build a yard plan tailor to where you live,

It's time for the Bobby Bones Post Show.
Here's your host, Bobby Bones.
Hello, welcome.
I hear your top three songs in country music this week.
At number three, Thomas Rett, slow down summer.
What can I say?
Doing this, Luke Combs, and number two.
I'd have a Friday night crowd in a...
That's a good one, huh?
really good. Yeah, that's a good one.
The number one, Jason Aldee in trouble with a heartbreak.
That's the trouble with a heartbreak.
It's gonna hang around.
Your number one pop song is Harry Stiles as it was.
That album's good.
I don't repeat at the house?
No, nothing's on repeat anymore.
Really?
I don't live that life.
And I remember back in the day I'd go and Chris Stapleton was like playing all the time.
Yeah, there's no repeat for me anymore.
Okay.
Because I'm just not on the same device.
often. If
if I'm working at the table, like I've been signing a lot of book cards that get put into books,
I'll just go to the jukebox and play something there and it's mostly older stuff.
My phone, if I'm in my car, I guess, because I'm Bluetoothed up, I just hit a podcast or like
it's either right now, it's either Ben Reck or Jack Harlow.
It's pretty much the only things that we're listening to now.
And then even then, not on repeat.
I don't know.
capacity to repeat anymore.
I don't care enough.
So that's Harry Styles as it was.
And then here's Jack Harlow first class.
I mean, Jack Harle's from Kentucky, which is pretty cool.
And the old Jack Harlow is so nerdy.
He's not some heartthrob now anyway.
But, I mean, it's so funny.
Look at old pictures of Jack Harlow when he was like big curly hair and glasses.
But that's number one hip-hop song.
So there you go.
Let's see.
A man steals a $500,000 McLaren from Valette.
and then gets caught, it'd be tough to steal like an ambulance or a McLaren or something that
it's just easy to see.
Like if you're like, oh, they stole an ambulance, but be on the lookout, well, that's not the hard to find.
I mean, same thing with a McLaren because that's the back to the future car.
Is it, no?
No, that's a DeLorean.
Delorian.
Okay, I know what a McLaren looks like, too, something that I don't know what it is,
but it costs a lot.
Oh, wow.
I'm a picture of now the doors come like this.
Oh, that's cool.
Yeah.
It's one of those that I would go, is that a Lamborghini?
and I would have no idea.
But a man left his $500,000
a McLaren sports car with a valet service,
and he tried to get it back the next morning,
and they said, no, you took it last night.
He goes, no, I didn't.
So they tracked the vehicle
and arrested a 43-year-old guy,
charged him with theft of a motor vehicle.
The car belongs to a company called Honeymoon Car Hire.
There was damage to the car and the interior and the engine.
They're going to sue the casino,
who apparently was the valet.
Police said the investigation is ongoing.
That is from nine news.
But if you were going to steal a car from a valet,
that's the one to steal.
Like if you're like, I'm going to take a car, that's the one you steal.
Because you're going to get in trouble for stealing, so why not steal the most awesome one?
So did the guy work for the valet or he just picked it up.
Acted like the guy.
I mean, to me, it sounds like his buddy calls that, hey, dude, we got a McLaren here.
Come here.
I'd like you're the guy.
I'll give you the keys.
But you're making that up.
That's my scenario.
Right, for the record.
Yeah, yeah, that's my scenario in my head.
Inside job?
You don't have a ticket for your McLaren when you go up.
But you do park up front if you have that car.
So I can just walk by the stand and see the McLaren up front.
and if they didn't lock the keys,
if they're just hanging,
they could easily go,
wow, this is...
That's a more boring version, yes.
Yes, that's a more boring version.
I like to have the inside job like a movie.
Wisconsin couple killed a bear
that broke into their house and bit them.
A Wisconsin couple yelled at a bear
to stop eating from their bird feeder,
but instead it charged them
and broke their window at the house.
This poor bear must have just been so hungry
because animals do not attack
unless they're threatened or hungry
or they're sick.
Sometimes if they're not right,
in the head because they're sick that'll happen.
But the couple says the bear attacked them and they attacked the bear back with a kitchen knife
until the husband grabbed a gun and killed the animal.
The couple was treated for multiple injuries and released their children slept the entire attack in their bedrooms.
I didn't see the video of this one though. Anybody?
I just saw a picture of the bear laying dead in the floor.
Maybe there wasn't a video.
That's from Daily Mail.
That sucks for everybody.
It does.
I hate that the bear was so hungry.
He felt like he had to attack humans.
I wouldn't care so much if the bear was eating the bird food.
Well, what happens is,
it'd be like a stray dog coming and eating some food.
They would just always come back around.
Yeah.
So, sure, in theory, it would be nice if a bear just came once ever and had some bird feed.
That's not how it happens.
Got it.
We're trying to trap foxes at our house now because we have like five or six foxes,
and my dogs go berserk at night when they see them.
And then they don't stop.
Eller doesn't stop.
I've talked about this before.
And then once she sees it, she doesn't stop all night long.
and so we found where they are
found the little den we found holes are going in and out of in the backyard
and we have put the traps the live traps
and then we're going to free them
and it makes Caitlin sad because like
what if we catch one and we have to free it without its family
oh no
and I'm like they might figure it out
and I'm like I know that sucks
but we we got to get the foxes out of our yard
because they're I mean I'll drive up at night
and you see them looking around just chilling
ready to get at my dogs
I know they're making plans
I just get my dogs
Let's see
Thieves use Walmart vests
To make off a $23,000 in goods
The key to any good heist is stealth
And when it comes ripping off of Walmart
Vests and face masks
Like the COVID ones do just fine
So that's what happened
They went into an Illinois Walmart
Stole $23,000 worth of electronics and luggage
They had the blue vests
And they had a mask on
that people just thought they were being protective.
Wow.
I wouldn't question them.
No.
Wow.
That's from something called Central Illinois Proud.
That's like y'all's Target song.
Mm-hmm.
Oh, exactly.
Well, except we still.
Nobody goes to work.
Yeah, but we didn't still.
I know people thought you worked there.
Michigan man didn't know.
He won $3.39 million in the lottery for weeks.
An unidentified man from Michigan was unaware that he won this money in the lottery.
La, la, la.
Do you know somebody on this show wants a money in the lottery recently?
Huh?
I meant to do this as a bit on the show show.
I kind of walk myself into this now, and that's okay.
Do you want to hold it for the show show?
No, we'll kick in the balls right now.
You mean kick me in the balls?
No, but somebody on this show thought they'd won just a little and it actually won a lot more.
Oh my gosh.
So this person thought they only won $100.
No.
But they won a lot more than $100.
Huh.
Who is it?
Yeah, I don't know who this is.
Stick around to the end of this bit, this clip.
Scuba.
Oh, my gosh.
Tell a lunchbox your story.
Yeah, man, so I went to a little gas station over there in the east side of Nashville,
scanned my ticket, and it was a whole heck of a lot more than I thought it was.
He had to actually leave the register and go to the back to get more cash.
So you thought, though, wait, because you won a scratch or a...
No, it's a lottery.
So I play consistent, I play two numbers.
One set of numbers that I always play that are my numbers,
like wedding anniversaries, basketball players.
And then a set of numbers, my grandfather left me behind when he passed away to play.
What if Scooper wins the big lottery?
I love that.
Oh, man.
So I play this consistently three times a week.
And I went to go get cash, and I had four numbers correct,
which is three numbers and then the power ball.
I was pretty cool.
I'm two numbers away from the whole damn thing.
It's got to be a lot.
I was like, only a hundred bucks.
I was like, oh, man, give the guy the ticket.
he comes back, he starts counting the money, it's way more than 100.
He keeps counting and counting and counting.
I'm like, what is happening right now?
What's the most you ever won lunchbox ever?
Scooby beat you.
Obviously, by the way, he said it was a lot more than 100.
Well, go ahead, scuba.
Well, it ended up being 500 bucks, which is definitely, but it also sucks because you're one number away from winning like 100,000,
and one more away from winning the whole prize.
But don't look at it like that.
Yeah.
It's hard not to, though.
But you can't.
Listen, here's the thing.
Like medalists in the Olympics.
You win the gold.
That's amazing.
Silver medalists are way more miserable than bronze
Because silver medalists go look how close I was to winning the goal
Bronze medalist is like
Hey I got this is awesome
I got my medal
They knew they weren't close to winning it yet they still finished in that
So bronze medalists have way less
Being
Regret
No not regret being depressed
Far less depression
Than silver medal
Because they got a metal
Because they got a metal
Because no because they weren't so close to it
That they're like dang
Look at what I didn't do
So not because they got a metal, but because they weren't like, oh, comparing themselves upward.
That's interesting.
Yes.
So scuba don't do that.
Your bad example for all the kids listening right now, which is none.
And then go ahead.
But I also look at it as my numbers, I've been looking at them.
They haven't hit all the numbers.
So I'm inching towards that.
Yes, I am.
That's not a thing.
You're not getting closer.
Well, I think I am.
One has nothing to do with the neck.
But I'm looking at positively that I'm getting there.
I'm almost there.
If you're looking at it, knowing that that's,
not the reality of the numbers,
but if it's just what you need
to be positive about it. Yes, that's what I do for,
because I know I will win someday. Logically, there's no
there's no logic to it at all. It's random numbers
being bounced around in a thing. They get picked,
they don't get picked. I know there isn't logic to it, but I do
know that someday, in my soul, I know I'm going
to win. So does lunch walks.
But he doesn't, but he's not real, though. I really am
going to win. He's inconsistent playing different
numbers playing, playing. He has no strategy to it whatsoever.
He's not playing the odds properly.
But strategy has nothing to do with a lottery.
I think consistency is the strategy.
Consistency of playing the same numbers over and over and over
has a better odd than just playing willy-nilly random numbers.
But it doesn't.
It doesn't.
Because you're continually playing.
But it doesn't.
It doesn't.
Okay.
All right.
I like it that you have a strategy and you're dedicated to it.
I don't have a strategy.
You don't tell me I don't have a strategy.
But sometimes the strategy is not having a strategy and playing willy-nilly.
Because there are no odds as far as one number has a better shot to hit than the next.
From one to the next.
There's no difference.
The strategy of not having a strategy is just as as as having a strategy.
Do you play the same gas stations?
When it comes to a game of luck,
when it comes to a game of luck where everything is even,
there's no strategy that's a leg up on the other person.
It's just in our heads that there's a strategy.
You feel good about it because you've been doing it.
Yeah.
I like it.
You should stick with it, but you're not at an advantage that he doesn't get to have.
That's a good point.
I just, yeah.
Yeah.
Don't insult my strategy of going to small gas stations on the outskirts of town that are run down.
That's what my strategy is.
Yes, because I play quick picks because if I do,
miss a lottery. I don't want to have that regret
of, oh my gosh, I would have won
$500 million. So, yeah, I
don't pick the same numbers because
it's random. And don't call my
strategy willy-nilly and inconsistent.
That's very rude. To Scuba's point,
though, 21 on our little dice rolls
hit more than any number.
You don't know that. You haven't
kept track of all the other numbers. I've been listening.
But you don't know that. No, you only remember 21
because that's your numbers. Yeah. How many times
if you won, Eddie, ever? Once, but the times
that I didn't pick 21, they hit two
times. Okay, but how do you know four hasn't hit more? How do you know 13? How many, how many jeeps do you see
on the road? Lots of Jeep. Is it only, it could be because there's only jeeps on the road, right? No.
No, it's because it's your car so you notice the jeeps. Okay, geez. Why are yelling? I don't know.
No, I'm just saying, we're going to get down this Eddie rabbit hole again. I mean, I just said something.
Don't allow yourself. There we go. It's like, I know what you're saying to them.
Sorry, Eddie, I was really frustrated with some of you. I agree with you. I don't. I'm like, why do they
think this way about the lottery, but honestly, every time they talk about it, I'm kind of like,
I should play the lottery more.
It statistically makes no difference if you play the same set of lottery numbers every week
or you choose a different set for every drawing.
It is what is called, I had to look it up, statistical independence.
They have nothing to do with each other at all.
So, but I like it that you guys have it.
You do it.
Makes you feel good.
That's what it's all about.
Lottery is entertainment, not an investment.
Let's go.
Disagree.
Did she have a $500 scoop of guys?
investment.
Yeah.
How many tickets do you buy?
One or two?
What do you mean?
After I got the winner?
No, when you want to win the $500.
I only played two numbers every time, so one ticket.
So, yeah.
Two numbers.
So my investment was $8, I got back.
But how many times, though, have you spent $8 and not one?
Oh, many times.
Right.
Probably more.
Probably more. Yeah, I usually end up winning like two bucks here and there, four bucks,
but break even sometimes, but never that I'm out.
Yeah.
I definitely spent more than I've won for sure.
I'm glad you have your thing.
That's good.
Yeah.
I'm logical.
about it. Not really, because I've heard you
here in the last few minutes.
I feel like it. I feel like
terribly, but I like it.
I've been trolling people the last
couple days. Listen, I like my steak with A1
sauce. I don't care how good the steak is. It can be the best steak in the
whole world, and if you put A1 sauce on it, it makes the best steak
even better. Like, it's my thing. I love A1
sauce. It tastes like home. And
I posted that once, and everybody just
came after me. And so I was like, well,
this is going to be a new thing. So I get on Twitter and I've had a
steak the last few nights. Heck, last night, I only got one
because I wanted to troll people. It is a really good steak.
I got it from Roots Chris and I ordered it and I got some blue cheese on top of it and I covered it in a1 sauce and people were just freaking out.
I mean I can read just some of the comments and so it's been like a week over on Twitter and now I order it medium well too because I love it medium well with A1 sauce and a guy's like oh you should go to jail for that.
There ain't no piece of meat if cooked right.
It don't eat A1.
I disagree.
I think it can be cooked the absolute best way possible and it is a plus but a little A1 it goes A plus plus it can even get better and
And also it's like, my steak don't need seasoning.
I season it before I cook it and then I eat it.
Well, that's still seasoning.
You still use something the same way that I'm using A1.
And so it has been quite the disaster area on my Twitter.
I said, hey, steak tonight from Roots Chris, medium well, a little blue cheese and about to be covered in A1.
What a time to be alive.
97 replies to that one with about 75 of them wishing I would die in one way or the other.
Yeah, it's been a pretty rough place.
and I took a screenshot of just people replying to this other one
and here you go enjoy this
I want this man arrested
is one of them
the next one
this is at least a misdemeanor
the next one
bro we got to talk what are you doing
the next one good grief Bobby
so it's just
and Roddick just hits me all the time
well if your meat tastes like a shoot
no
He likes a troll, too.
I like that.
I like it.
My food.
I like it medium well.
I don't like pink at all.
I don't need it.
I don't need it mooing.
I don't need it doing anything.
I don't like it medium well.
I like that slightly burnt taste.
And then I like A1 sauce all over it.
And if you got a problem with that, kiss my grits.
You know what I mean?
Got them.
Not really.
Kiss my grits.
That's right.
And, you know, a long time ago, if I can just share a story with you guys,
I was far away
and this monk came up to me
and I was like wow this is crazy
and the monk said
this is the greatest steak man's ever tasted
and he had a steak from me on a plate
and he invited me to eat some of that steak
and so I grabbed a knife
and like my lips and I cut that steak
right down the middle in two pieces
and that was a great steak
it really was a steak unlike anything ever eaten before
and I felt I had reached steak Nirvana
in that spot I was like oh man
the monk said but why did you cut the steak in two pieces
and I said well it was for one reason
only and I looked at the monk and then I poured A1 over the other half that I hadn't tasted yet.
And just when I thought I could get no higher, I did. My taste buds screamed like the sound you hear
when a four-year-old sees the ice cream truck for the first time. It was then I knew that even the
best steak tastes better if A1 is added. The monk then tasted the steak himself and it was so good
he quit the monastery he was at and he now works at a Logan's steakhouse in Tampa.
You met a monk? Sometimes he reaches out to me just to let me know.
that we're both A1 since day one, you know?
So get the best tasting steak you can find, cook it medium well, cover it in A1, you're welcome.
I made that story I put on my Instagram stories yesterday with bottles of A1, and you would have
think I just posted a picture of me naked, the responses that was getting.
Oh.
People were like, that's disgusting.
Get that offer here.
So, yeah, I didn't really met that many monks.
And any monks that I have met, they don't talk.
Oh, yeah, they vow of silence, right?
And I was like, monk came up to me, started talking about steak.
Hand me a steak.
Wait, wait, wait. Monks can't talk?
No, I think some maybe can. I don't know.
The ones that I've ever seen haven't, that they were in a...
Vow of silence.
Maybe, yeah.
Just what I think they say.
A vow of silence.
That sounds terrible.
Oh, yeah, for you?
For you.
For you.
For you.
For you.
For you can't do it.
There's no way you can be quiet for five minutes.
Let's see.
Spoken conversations between monks are permitted but limited according to the norms established
by the community and approved by the order.
So, most monks don't just chitter chat.
They don't have a monk.
morning show. Yeah, like a podcast of monks, it'd be funny. Just the monks.
It can't say anything. It's all quiet all the time. Um, so I've been trolling people back with
it. I love A1, though. It's the greatest and I ate it all the time. I didn't realize it was
going to be such a, such a divisive issue, meaning everybody against me. But I am who I am,
and I'm pretty happy about it. I may have steak tonight. I mean, so much steak just to prove,
just to troll people. Oh my God. Just to mess with people. Um, so there's that. That was not
a paid thing by in any way. I wish A1
and I would do a deal together, but that
was not paid in any way. So
they got a whole lot of free
advertising. Lunchbox really thought you met a monk.
I mean, how would I know?
He means a lot of people.
It's true. He made a chancellor.
Your reels are getting out of control.
What do you mean? Meaning, you're spending
way too much time worried about your reels. How much money are you making?
Nothing. Oh, I can't tell you that.
No, it's very, uh...
Why? Morgan did?
Secretive.
Morgan did? I don't want to tell you, because
I'll make some of you guys jealous.
But you're taking, like, bits from the show and putting them in as your reels.
Which one?
You should probably go with show content.
When?
Even the one where you're barking like a dog or the other day, took a segment from the studio.
Yeah, Morgan.
No, I collaborated with that.
Hold on.
He did collaborate because I asked after I asked to put it in the YouTube video.
But if it's his collaboration from his page, he's getting the credit for it.
Yes.
Right.
But I did ask him to put it in the YouTube video, and he told me no, that he had to use it for his
reels.
And I'm like, it's going on YouTube.
Sorry.
And if it's show content.
Posted.
Sorry.
Sure.
Right.
If it's show content, then that's...
Content's gone, sorry.
Yay, I like it.
That's show content.
Yeah, yeah, we'll do that next time.
Oh, no.
Hey, check it out.
Another punishment?
I'll do that.
But you're just always, like, worried about your reels all the time.
I am.
And you can't, it's more annoying than I think it is money you're making.
Like part of the whole skydiving thing, I've been like, oh, I got to go skydiving
because I need to get a reel of this.
I mean, my whole life's about reels right now.
But you're not making any money.
You could literally do 100.
other things that make more money than chasing these real you're a 43 year old man
trying to make it be an influencer but bobby why won't he say what he's making
because he's not making anything come on man what are the hey what are the influencers saying when she
came in five months i don't get out of bed but i know what she made too oh and it wasn't a lot
there's a rumor on the street well let me see oh 150 bucks yeah oh it's it's above that
oh 160 but for as annoying as you're being with your phone everywhere all the time trying to
make these reels all the time. You could be putting that
into other things. Ideas for your podcast.
Yeah, no, we'd do that too.
No, okay. You know? Does anyone else find his real or
starting to be a little annoying? You do? Even you?
Like, I, I, yes, the one he posted yesterday was like, dude, you messed up my reel.
Like, why could you not wait until I was like, I was like, I didn't know you were
filmed? I was just taking it, I wasn't. Yeah, he kind of messed up my Dirk's
Manly reel. Because I was rolling. It was perfect. Dirk's on the bike.
But you don't own that. But really, I just was doing, like, look, Dirk's is like me.
He was recording Dercs.
Poor Dirk's. It's just trying to ride his bike.
I know, and I was just trying to do a cool, like, hey, when you live in Nashville, this happens.
And in the background, I was like, hey, nerds, I ride my back too.
And I'm like, well, there goes my reel.
And the lunchbox is like, hey, I'm showing somebody ride a bike.
And there's some guy going, hey, when you live in Nashville, this happens in the background.
No, I did it quietly.
I was respected.
He literally got mad at me.
He goes, dude, you could have waited until I was done recording.
This is my livelihood, dude.
It's how I feed my family, man.
It's not.
This is how you feed your family.
This is one way.
This is one way.
I mean, do you treat your tours differently than raging.
versus one man comedy show?
No, they're both equally your way of making money.
Huh?
Your comedy, you're tours.
You treat them differently.
I don't understand your questions.
They're both your projects.
But if one made me, if one made me $80 and I was spending all day annoying people with it all the time,
I would go, this isn't worth it.
Man, see, I looked at it as like, I don't know, man, money's money.
If they're paying me to do this, why not just do it?
But if you're doing a whole lot of work and not making...
I'm not doing that much work.
It's not that crazy.
Are you kidding?
Everybody complains about you always having your phone now recording these stupid reels.
Oh, well.
And then you're just wait until I start dancing.
I'm going to start a new boot goofing pretty soon.
Okay.
Okay, but also, Bobby, for your different things, you have different content.
It's not like you go to do your comedy show and you basically bust out all the segments we do and try to reuse that.
Whoa, whoa, guys.
Or I don't go to my comedy show, put up a screen and show them segments of this show.
But guys, the idea of the barking was from you.
More, yes, yes.
That's the only one I've taken from the show.
No, that's not true.
There was one last week, too.
It was a collaboration.
Right, but you posted it.
No, no, all I did was click a button that Morgan invited me to collaborate.
What do you want to say?
There's two levels to this.
One, the whole point of Reels is to help your brand as a whole, right?
That's the focus of it, not the money side of this.
So if you're posting for more money, it's just going to, your brand's going to go all over the place.
So that's a big, big problem.
But second part of this, too, is that it's fine to use show content to post on your socials,
but you have to allow the show to do it first, and then you can post about it.
Split the views? No chance. No chance. No chance. I want to know how much money you made. I'll be real.
All right. I'll tell you. Text me. But don't tell these fools. Text me and I won't tell you.
I mean, I won't tell them. Okay. So, so, because I mean, I believe Morgan, her job is get
web views and clicks, right? So she probably gets paid her real life money by our show content, right?
Unless it's on her own page. Right, right. No, I'm saying, but Eddie is saying that, no, you can't
have the content. Ah, man, that's kind of taking money.
money out of her pocket. Like that's... Out of Morgan's pocket?
Yeah. Maybe my job harder. That's for dang. Well, she's gonna, she's got a guaranteed pay no matter
what. Well, but if she doesn't keep clicks and views up, and Eddie's taken from that.
Like, I'm on trial right now. Then like when she, like, evaluation of her performance comes up,
it might look lower, Eddie. He's trying to make a buck, guys. I mean, you do have a video
with Drix has 101,000 views. Pretty good. Pretty good one. Pretty good. But watch it in lunchbox
in the background. Yeah, I ride a book, Mike 2. Look at me. Oh my gosh. Makes me want to go watch it,
And then your audition for the Calm app, you took...
No, I redid that.
I redid that.
That's my real audition.
But it's you in the studio, you're in the studio cameras.
But no, that's just me recording it differently again,
because it's with the corrections.
I rewrote it and everything.
I said, this is my actual audition for the calm.
So you turned it in?
No, I missed the deadline.
But I'm saying if you use all the studio equipment,
though, does that matter?
Are you cool?
Is that okay?
I don't know.
I'm just asking.
You tell me.
You tell me, you're asking it because you're trying to.
I don't care.
But what do you think about that?
If he's using all the equipment here...
Honestly, I don't really care.
But if we're going to go down that route,
I mean, in theory, we're using work stuff for personal gain.
Yeah.
So, I mean, I guess, sure.
You can't do it.
You can't use our stuff.
All right, no more...
Studio cameras.
Sure.
Use them up.
Just don't take show content and put it as your own.
The show one is what bothered me when I was like,
wait a second, we haven't even done this on the air yet,
and it's already on Instagram.
Which one? The barking one I thought, right?
No, we already talked about it. I did it after we talked about it.
Yeah, he spoiled it for all the East Coast people though.
Yes, I'm saying, though, you didn't wait for it to clear.
West Coast. Yeah.
Yeah, because we've done that before with other people.
I'm like, why would you post it? We haven't even talked about it on the show yet. It hasn't hit.
It hasn't heard it yet.
Now they already know the payoff and the payoff hasn't even happened, but yet they have the answer on Instagram.
Yeah, you're right. I won't do that anymore.
That's the one thing I think bothers me.
Other than that, I really care less. Where you do it and how you do it.
Yeah. Do you ever notice like when you post, you lose followers?
Yeah, it's weird.
You do?
No, Amy, I'm with you.
It's like it drops 2000.
It's like what?
That makes no sense.
That's weird.
They don't like what you post or follow you?
Maybe you're not posting stuff that you people like.
I don't know.
I don't know.
Somehow maybe people...
I find I lose followers if I don't post it all for a long time.
Oh.
I feel...
You're not a social media expert.
I'm not at all.
I see that too with me.
It just makes me...
I don't really track it, but sometimes if I am painting attention then I'm like, I
gotta stop paying attention to this because like this is so sad.
Like, I posted.
and then my followers went down.
And did you post two reels of the barking thing?
No, it's three.
I did the whole thing in three segments.
Three reels?
That was Amy's suggestion.
Why not do it in...
Like, I know what I'm talking about.
Oh, now you're not confident in your suggestion?
Yesterday, you're like...
Why would you go to Amy?
You're right.
You sit right next to me.
You weren't in the studio.
I was saying you don't need to edit it.
I just said...
I didn't edit it.
Exactly, that's all I said.
So you had to watch three reels to get the pay?
I mean, you're wasting a lot of views
when you're just having a lot of views
when you just having it.
One.
Why has everyone attacking me?
Well, maybe you're gaining views if it's good enough.
No, let me tell you, dude.
I've had the same number of followers for like six months.
I cannot change.
I'm trying.
But I haven't grown a whole lot either.
I've got $1.2 million and I've sat there for a while.
Yeah, 1.2.
You're looking for that 1.3.
Yeah.
What are you looking for?
Just a thousand.
Just a thousand to give me another point.
That's why you should ask me, Eddie.
Why do you think I keep getting more followers?
Because I know what I'm doing.
On the show and on.
mind.
Morgan keeps asking me to dance with her and I'm like, I'm not going to do it.
That I can't do.
I wouldn't do it.
I wouldn't do it.
You don't have to, but you also like can use me as a resource and also like utilize the show.
You should only like be posting show content when we've already talked about on the show.
It's been utilized that way.
And then you post something different.
Like there's so many strategies of social media and to grow your brand and to get more followers.
And like I have the proof of that.
And you just sit here and don't ask.
Yeah, what's your brand, Eddie?
Except just don't want to watch a crap up there.
No, no brand, really.
Just content.
Just grade A content for everyone to watch.
I want everyone to have a better day.
Grade A?
Grade A.
Premium.
Okay.
You should do a subscription service then to your content.
Sounds good to me.
Is this content grade A?
This?
His.
His?
No.
It's not?
Maybe not to you.
You're not my demo.
Every once in a while.
Who's your demo?
The people like to live life.
Have fun.
I think.
It doesn't matter.
moving on. I've already slipped down the slope a little too far. Here we go. A slide, the slide.
Jimmy Westbrook was on the Bobbycast. He's up there this week and it's really good.
And what's interesting, too, that we've been able to do on the Bobbycast is now, after six years,
we've had all four of Little Big Town individually separate. And they all have separate stories as to,
not different. And they have different stories about how it happened, but just different perspectives
and their stories a little different. But Jimmy, who's Karen's husband, he's not the long-haired blonde
He's the short-haired dude.
So he shared the story behind Little Big Town's first record deal and why they left the record
deal after just a few months.
We basically signed at Mercury.
We cut about four songs.
And when the powers that be at that time at Mercury heard the sides that we did, they
basically said, hey, if any of this is who you are, we're not interested.
So we made the decision ourselves that we were going to walk away from it.
because if they're telling us that they don't want any of that,
then we can't stay here.
But it also set the ground work for who we became as a band
as far as living and dying by our own decisions.
So the record label was like, we don't like what you guys have done.
And if you're going to keep doing that,
we don't need to work together.
And they were like, all right, we're out, peace.
The second clip here is how he had quit music
just a couple years before he moved to Nashville.
He had tried music and was like, man, I don't have any success here.
and so he just worked at a coffee company for years.
I was paying off bills from prior musical failures.
Were you still singing?
A little here and there, but not a lot.
In fact, the girl I was dating at the time and had been dating for a long time,
had no idea I could sing.
And that's all I'd done prior to that time in my life.
But there was a couple of years where I was paying off credit card bills
and working didn't really know what I was going to do
and work my way up in this job.
And I decided internally, I didn't even really tell anybody that I was like, I've got to get back in music.
And so he did, and there you go.
Pretty good.
Pretty good stories.
He just got a call from Karen one day.
He had met Karen because she was opening for a group that he was with, like a Christian group.
And she was like, hey, we have a duo, her and Kimberly Schlatteman.
We don't know what we're doing, but we're looking to do something.
Come up.
There's going to be a three person.
And so he goes up.
And they had also, before him, though, they had tried out at Gaila LaVox.
He talks about that.
Joe Don Rooney.
Both of those guys ended up being Rascal Flats.
So it's really good.
So check it out.
But we've put all four of them up on the feed through all the years, right, Mike?
Are they all up now?
So Jimmy was up Friday.
That's the new one.
But then we have Karen, Kimberly, and Phillip, and they're all individual as well.
So it's a pretty cool little collection we have there.
It's a box set, as Garth would say.
Question about Little Big Town.
Like, they're super rich?
Oh, I got to...
Right now I got to do this?
What Lunchbox?
Like Little Big Town.
Like what level, like, wealth?
Are they really well?
Because, you know, I have no idea.
Like, I think I see them like,
and they are mega rich.
They're pretty rich.
The fact that there's four of them cuts what their success individually would have done in quarters.
But they're all multimillionaires.
Okay.
Yeah.
So they've had enough.
They've gotten opportunities to do.
Yeah, but they've had enough success where they.
Jimmy and Karen are married.
So they get half, but it's also.
Wow, that's, yeah.
Probably separate bank counts.
You don't know that.
I have no idea if that's good.
I have to go.
I have a call. I forget about it. All right. Thank you guys. Enjoy. And we will do this again tomorrow. Bye.
