Over 60% of parents wouldn't mind buying a knockoff or counterfeit toy for their kid for Christmas if it were cheaper than normal, and the kid didn't know. Straight up. Why not? Yeah, why wouldn't you? For sure.
Starting point is 00:03:14 Well, that checked all you guys. 100%. You are all part. Oh, you're not even 63. 100%. 100. Unless later in life, I guess it's going to be worth tons of money years from now, but. So what if it's like tickle me Elmo, but we got the tickle me Melmo?
Starting point is 00:03:28 That's great. As long as a kid doesn't know who cares. They might know, though. Then you look like a bad... No. They're not going to know. The kids don't know the difference. You mean later in life, Eddie?
Starting point is 00:03:38 Well, I mean, say like a five-year-old's going to know, hey, this is tickle me Melmo. So it's an opportunity to maybe teach your kid that, hey, it really doesn't matter. Or Buzz Flight Year. Oh, classic Buzz Flight Year. They're just like, this way to say. And they take it to school and they're like, that's not Buzz Light Year? Well, that's the thing. Don't take it to school.
Starting point is 00:03:56 Don't want to take it to school. Good call. Because then they will get found out. out, original or not, which by the way, next week, we are going to have on someone that will come on and analyze my beanie babies and tell me that I made some money or not. I didn't buy them to make money, if I'm being honest. I bought a bunch of beanie babies from Raymondo because he just wanted to sell two bags in his truck. And so I bought them all to give him out to listeners. Then scuba comes in and goes, hey, I think there could be something here worth. That could be,
Starting point is 00:04:21 you could increase your net worth with these beanie babies. And I was like, really? So he's lined up someone named Dr. Lori, who is a PhD? Yeah, PhD and appraisals and antiques. And she's going to come on and tell me, Ray, I have like over 100 Beanie babies. So I would think if they're just worth a dollar each, I'm making money. In theory, yeah. Sure, sure, but put them on Craigslist. You'll get zero text messages and no emails, which would tell you they're not worth a lot of money.
Starting point is 00:04:46 Okay. She will be on Monday's show and we will appraise. Hey, we'll go appraisal aff as they say. Oh. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. A teenager stops a gas station robbery by convincing the wrong. robber to go to another store. Well, people are just all up about talking
Starting point is 00:05:01 to robbers and attacking robbers. Well, I'm glad you asked. You never know how you're going to react on the face with danger. Well, we know what Eddie does. He freezes. Yeah, so I wouldn't talk to him. But an 18-year-old in a gas station did pretty well. While she was on duty, a man walked up to the counter, told her he had
Starting point is 00:05:17 a gun and demanded $500. The cashier says she replied by asking him to go to another gas station up the road. Like they'll have more money there? That poor other gas station attendant. I thought maybe that would give her time to call the cops. The security video shows the man agreeing and leaving. You're right. The young woman called police and they arrested the unnamed suspect who's now charged with robbery. So the burglar heard her pitch and he was like, hmm, good point. All right, I'll go over there.
Starting point is 00:05:43 He's the shark. You know what? I'll take 10% for. Yes, that's awesome. Good for her. But also, I'd have been scared. I just would have given him the money, I think. I wonder what she said like, hey, there's better beer over there. Yeah, more money. More kangaroos over with the... there's an outbag by the you'll love it is in Australia right?
Starting point is 00:06:01 No, did you? Oh, well if I didn't that made no sense at all. Sometimes I'm going to tell you something sometimes if there is a story and it's in Canada or Australia which is very similar to America
Starting point is 00:06:13 or England I don't even say where it is because it's familiar like the culture is familiar but if it's unlike Indonesia and someone grows a tail I have to acknowledge that because that's not Iowa
Starting point is 00:06:25 and I don't know I've never been over there to know how they're growing tales or having 17 kids at once. And that's not always the case, but it seems like a lot of those stories that are just so wild are from countries I can't verify in any way. Don't know anybody from there, never been there, that kind of thing. So Australia, I left that out, but they wanted it to the accent. It made no sense. Ramundo wants to do a country music secrets, which I think is fair. And this is a segment you bring us where you don't tell us who it is, but you tell us a secret. Correct. Here we go.
Starting point is 00:06:57 Ray Mundo's Country Music Secrets Yeah this one's really interesting So in my wife's college town This country artist, he's very famous He has number ones now But at the time he wasn't very well known But he would line dance every Friday night solo And it was how he met women
Starting point is 00:07:15 And he enjoyed line dancing so much That he would go every Friday night And it was known in this town In my wife's college town Oh blank blank is probably going to be there line dancing If you want to go see him He's every Friday night And he enjoyed
Starting point is 00:07:27 It enjoyed it so much and got so good at line dancing that even after he graduated, he would still drive back to the college town and line dance after he graduated. He enjoyed being a line dancer guy. And meeting chicks. Hey, I can respect that. Yeah, I have nothing, no problem with it. He's meeting chicks. Not even I'm meeting chicks. If he loves line dancing, he's got a place to go line dance and he wants to go drive back and do it, have at it. I took a line dancing class in college.
Starting point is 00:07:51 How'd that go? I tried to thought I was going to meet chicks. I didn't. And I wasn't even good at it. But I went. It was like every Tuesday night. I got a B in line dancing. Has this guy incorporated line dancing in his act now? No, not really. And he hasn't even come out with a line dancing song, but if that does happen in the future, I can be that guy saying, I told you so. Okay.
Starting point is 00:08:11 Based on the clues you've given, I could probably figure out who it is. I'm going to say it off mic. Wait, wait, wait, wait, I didn't hear that. I did the button where only Ray can hear me. Is that right, Ray? Yeah, he was right. You're right? Yeah. I have no idea.
Starting point is 00:08:30 But it's a country music secret I can't reveal. Dang. Amy. Come on. Wait, you know who it is? I got a guess. Well, yeah, but you guys can do that after the show. Don't hold it up to the camera.
Starting point is 00:08:42 Right. Okay. No. No. Lunchbox is wrong. Shocker. Brooks and Dunn. Boot and boogie. Is it Johnny Cash?
Starting point is 00:08:55 Is it Cyrus? Billy Ray. Here is voicemail. number one. This is Evan from El Paso who called us last night. Bobby, I just have to say, I love everything about the raging idiots. Love your guys' songs. But my favorite of any of your guys' songs is Fannie Pack when Eddie comes in. His voice is so perfect for the part. And when he comes in, it is just so awesome. His voice fits the part. I'm a modern day, Mary Poppin. Love it. That's cool.
Starting point is 00:09:32 in my fanny pack whatever I got Interesting story about that Oh my gosh We're playing Iheart country This past weekend Big stage 10,000 12,000 people around
Starting point is 00:09:47 And Eddie sometimes loses concentration When there are a lot of people around He gets, he's like my dog Get my dog gets stimulated Sometimes by a squirrel And you can't get them back Yeah, there's like
Starting point is 00:09:56 30,000 people looking at you And I'm like If you need a fuel filter For your ponnyack It's in my fanny pack And then Eddie goes after me You know I'm a modern day
Starting point is 00:10:05 Merry Poppins That whole deal there And I look over And Eddie's on the corner to the stage nowhere near a microphone. And so all you hear over the track is, I look at Eddie and I go, and he runs back over and goes,
Starting point is 00:10:17 Rockin! Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. That's my part. Forgot the whole line. See, we were just talking about this, Amy. Like, when you have a crowd, I just start looking at faces. I'm like, hey, I know that guy.
Starting point is 00:10:26 Oh, look at that. That's my sister over there. And then, look at Bobby, I'm like, oh my gosh, I'm supposed to be singing right now. When we're doing just straight comedy shows and he forgets a line or a word and the joke makes no sense,
Starting point is 00:10:36 I'm like, bro, He's like, sorry, sorry, sorry. You're like, you're the punchline. You got to come in there. But yes, that song actually is pretty well liked by people. Yes. Now you can stream it if you want. That would be awesome.
Starting point is 00:10:50 Let's see here. Let's do voicemail number, let's do four, eh? Just wanted to call in and say hi. Enjoy listening you guys. And I was just trying to be the first caller on the show today. This first time I've ever gotten through. Thank you. You're welcome, buddy.
Starting point is 00:11:03 Sorry, you got the voicemail. Here's Ashley from Arkansas. A lot of people have been asking about what to say for what's your greatest weakness. I was wondering if it is okay to say that my greatest weakness would be that I'm too early. I currently start work at 4 o'clock. I've been sitting here since 245 just because I cannot handle the thought of even being close to being late. It's ridiculous, I know. But would you say that that's a good one to say?
Starting point is 00:11:30 I would. I would just tone it down a bit. I would say I'm always early. Sometimes I'm too early. I definitely wouldn't say 245 for four. I'd say 3.30 for a four. Like, I always get their half. But how is that a weakness?
Starting point is 00:11:43 I mean, I get the... You're too early. She's wasting half of her life sitting there. It's not good use of your time. You don't need to answer that question in real life. You don't really give a weakness. It's a trick question. What's your greatest weakness?
Starting point is 00:11:54 I focus too much on work. And I'm always here half an hour early. Sometimes it makes people uncomfortable. Okay, well, there's your weakness. It makes people uncomfortable. Like Ray, he gets here at midnight, right? Which makes no sense. Ray is this person.
Starting point is 00:12:04 Ray goes to bed at like 4 p.m. And then he's here. What time do you get here? 2 a.m. But what time do you have to be here? Probably 3.30. So it is like her. 5.4.
Starting point is 00:12:17 2 a.m. that's gotten later though, right? Because you used to be like 1 a.m. Oh, yeah. I'd push it back an hour and a half. I was pretty nice on myself there. I mean, you're wasting your life. Hey, I love it though. Hey, what a weakness is what I say.
Starting point is 00:12:29 That's his weakness. What a weakness. I was talking to Caitlin this morning. And she was looking at my calendar. She was like, you're taking them boys to where are we going? Bourbon. It's a place in town. She goes,
Starting point is 00:12:39 we haven't even been there. I don't know how nice it is. Turns out we did go there for Valentine's Day one year. Yes. But it was a wine tasting and I had no idea or champagne tasting.
Starting point is 00:12:48 So I sat there and was like, I sat there on my thumb, my butt going, what am I doing here? But I'm taking the producers, Mike, Ramundo and Scooba Steve on a fancy dinner later this week.
Starting point is 00:13:00 And Raymundo suggested it. Amy lined it up with her connection. Yeah. Yes, I did. Shout out, 54. And then we're going to go have dinner. Everybody good? Feeling good about it?
Starting point is 00:13:10 It's the best spot in town, so yeah. Hey, don't be shy. You want an appetizer? Get you an app. Yeah! You want a drink? Well, you can probably have one. One drink?
Starting point is 00:13:19 Well, they have to drive. What are they Uber? You have to. Five drinks, boys. Hey, this night's about you guys. That's what I'm talking about. All right? Oh, man, you need to get that main off the pie.
Starting point is 00:13:29 How late? Ray, what time do you need to be home? This is such past your bedtime. He said it was fine. Yeah. I checked in. I was like, do we do this on a Saturday? Saturday because of your bedtime. What was your response? I mean, weekends are pretty
Starting point is 00:13:41 booked up. I'm down for a Thursday. Yeah, I can always swing a Thursday late night. Okay. Let me do one more voicemail. This is voicemail number five on this sheet. Hey, Bobby, I need some advice. My little brother, he's got some real bad V-O problem, and I just really don't know how to handle it. I keep trying to tell him that he should shower. Grandma's been trying to tell him, and he doesn't seem like he knows how to use deodorant. and I just really need some help with it. Can you guys give me some tips to try to talk to my little brother about making him smell better?
Starting point is 00:14:15 It could help him get a girl. You want to handle this one? Me. Well, I mean, I feel like most parents have to deal with this with their kids. So in a way, I guess if it's your brother, it's kind of similar. But you just have to tell him. And then be like, hey, let's go shopping for some good deodorant. Or, hey, I bought some.
Starting point is 00:14:34 Let's test these out. Like this is, I don't know their age difference. There's some gaps here in the story that I don't know. But you absolutely should tell him and do it with kindness and like you're supporting him and should be fine. Eddie? Yeah, I wonder how old he is because it's an awkward conversation. But as a boy growing up, like I didn't, no one really taught me how to use deodorant. And you think like, oh, it's easy.
Starting point is 00:14:55 You just get the stick and you rub it under your arm. But maybe he doesn't know about deodorant or which ones work for him and which ones don't. So I think it's an awkward conversation, but one that needs to happen with him. It has to happen. Yeah. Right? Because he's the embarrassment that he's going to suffer forever.
Starting point is 00:15:08 Not forever. It eventually will fix itself, but the embarrassment he's going to suffer for the next bit of time is far worse than the embarrassment he's going to suffer with just you telling him.
Starting point is 00:15:15 Yeah. So net gain, that's why you do it now. Yeah. Tina Turner was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Amazing. Did you see it?
Starting point is 00:15:22 No, I didn't see it. You didn't watch her documentary either. I've been busy, man. No, you're losing your fandom. Even I watched. No, no, I'm not lost my fandom. She's the most amazing thing ever. I traveled to New York City
Starting point is 00:15:32 to watch her Broadway musical. So I have not lost my fandom. It's just I had a kid, man. I have three kids now, and so it's very hard to sit down and watch the documentary. But you didn't have three kids in the documentaries out, and you would watch Survivor for hours. But I had two kids, and so it's really hard to watch the documentary when you had two kids, and now I have three.
Starting point is 00:15:50 But I will sit down and watch it because I can't wait to watch that amazing piece of awesome. It's been out forever now. Here is the interesting thing about Tina Turner being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, which I'm sure you already know since you're a super fan. You know what I'm about to say? I don't know what your interesting fact is. She was already in there with Ike Turner, but now she's in there as a solo artist,
Starting point is 00:16:07 so she'll be one of the only people to be inducted in a group and solo. So she did not attend the ceremony because she lives in Sweden. And so because of COVID concerns. And so she did a video and was virtual. But they were going to have Brian Adams. And Brian Adams sings, everything I do, I do it for you. And he was going to go, and he got COVID. Oh, no.
Starting point is 00:16:31 So she didn't come because of COVID. Then he got COVID. Was Keith there? He was. So Keith played with her, and they did its only love. But it was just, she didn't come because COVID, and the mate didn't present because of COVID and then on down. That's rough. Yeah, it's rough for sure.
Starting point is 00:16:50 All right. The other thing I want, I have two other things I want to mention. Amy, I'll let you go first. Because I'd heard of this months ago, this perineum sunning where you put sun in your butt hole. You heard about it too? Oh, months ago, though. You put somewhere in your butt hole. but people were like burning their butthole.
Starting point is 00:17:03 Sun? It's like six months ago. Yeah. It's a thing that has gone. I mean, and this has been for a couple years now. I just had never heard of it. But there's some influencers or like on Instagram they would post and it would go viral of them like out in the sun with their legs wide open. It's a quick way to get vitamin D so they claim like into that region of your body. Where do you do that? Out in the sun.
Starting point is 00:17:27 Well, in your backyard you can lay and spread and. No chance. Yeah, you just do it. Because like vitamin D is so important. And I was talking to my friend about we were on a walk and I was wearing sunglasses and she's like, you should take those off for a little bit. Your eyeballs could use some vitamin D. And then that led to her talking about the perinium sunning.
Starting point is 00:17:43 And I was like, what is this? So then I did research and dermatologists and doctors are like, stop doing this. It's such a sensitive area of your body. It's not exposed because it shouldn't see sunlight. And you could greatly damage that thin layer of skin and end up with some sort of skin cancer situation, so don't sign your butt hole. Thank you. And I would see pictures of people doing it on Instagram, and they wouldn't show their
Starting point is 00:18:07 butthole, they would show like their knees over their head. Yes. And they're like, yeah, just getting some vitamin D. Pernium, Sunny. What honor. People are weird. But what if it really works? Right.
Starting point is 00:18:16 If the doctor said different, I mean, we'd all be out there today, right? Honestly, there's a time in my life where I would have seen that. I'd been like, okay, guys, going outside to spread my legs. I would never do that. I used to scotumly sonny. Is that right? Yeah, it's the whole thing. No one even recommended it.
Starting point is 00:18:31 I just tried it one day. It hurt. Carol Baskin is suing Netflix over Tiger King 2. Now I'm getting interested. When people start to threaten lawsuits like, oh, they shouldn't have this. I'm like, okay, maybe I do need to check it out of this.
Starting point is 00:18:42 But is this all for promotion? With her, I don't think so. I don't think she wants anything to do with it. Gosh, it made her famous. So she's not even on the second season? She is, but Carol Baskin does not want to be in it, so she's suing Netflix to cut her out of it. The animal rights activist claims in the lawsuit
Starting point is 00:18:58 that her footage isn't news. It's material that didn't make the cut for the original Tiger King. She says producers are making it seem like she's given new interviews. She appeared in Tiger King believing that she was helping protect big cats from people like Joe Exotic
Starting point is 00:19:10 except she was a villain. Oh. It sucks. So now she wants Netflix to cut her footage from the trailers and the new show which debuted this month. Yeah, that's different. That's not new footage.
Starting point is 00:19:20 It is a bit different. Unless she's just saying that. We'll find out. You have to watch to find out. Regardless, like, I'm, not interested, but I'm a little more less interested than I was. You could convince me
Starting point is 00:19:34 now to take a look at an episode, possibly. All right. I think that's what we're going to do today. I feel pretty good about it. Everybody feel good? Yeah. Today's Tuesday. There is a new episode of Amy's fifth thing.
Starting point is 00:19:51 Oh, yes. And today we talk about how to stop negative self-talk. Because I think most of us can be guilty of talking down to ourselves or sometimes even just casually I'll say something like I do something I'm like oh I'm so stupid but even that can be harmful because it's somewhere in your brain and you need to cut it out so my cat defaata my licensed therapist friend she's on with me and we break it down also movie Mike's movie podcast new episode yesterday if you loved and watched squid game he's sharing five other South Korean movies you should check out all from different genres too horror sci-fi
Starting point is 00:20:25 dramas. Are they just better at movies than us, Mike? Have you come to that conclusion? Really? That's what my daughter says. Same thing. Maybe they just don't make as many and you got to be really good to make. I don't know. We got some real turds out there right now. Yeah, we do. All right, there's that. And I do have a great interview with Charles Kelly from Lady A on the Bobbycast that we did Friday. So if you're looking for a podcast, check it out. Thank you guys. And we will see you tomorrow. Bye. All right. If you have ever dealt with a traditional home security company, you know the drill.
