It's time for the Bobby Bones post show.
Here's your host, Bobby Bones.
Thank you.
If someone were to pay you $1 million, and they said,
I'm going to give a million bucks,
but you have to sing a song that you know
and you have to sing every word right.
If you mess up, you get no money.
Matter of fact, you have to pay $1,000 if you mess up one word.
Oh, man.
What song would you pick?
And it can't be something like Jesus loves you.
That repeats over and over.
Well, something that's like a little nursery rhyme, like a way to get around it.
It has to be a real song.
Yeah.
A million bucks, but you had to get every word right.
And if you missed that word, you have to pay back a thousand.
First of all, would you take that bet?
I don't get to practice at all.
You don't get to look at it.
No, they just come up.
It's like, poof.
genie. They're like, hello, Amy.
I don't know that there's anything I could guarantee,
but I got it. I got it.
Friends in low places.
Nail it. Give me a million.
Can you put the lyrics up on my screen?
Or the, yeah, the verse.
We're not doing the surprise hidden verse, right?
No, it's just the whole song.
Take a glass, kiss my, okay.
I don't know. Amarillo by morning, maybe.
Yeah, I think you can do that one, Amy.
You pay back a thousand bucks if you missed out word.
Oh, whoa, whoa, you didn't say all that.
Yes, I did. He said it the whole time.
I just heard the million.
Yeah, of course.
And then pay a thousand?
If you miss a single word.
Right.
That's a the.
Eddie already took it.
He said friends in low places.
Okay.
My screen is all we messed up.
Mike, if you put it up, it's not up over here.
So if we do this, you're going to pay me a million and I have to pay you a thousand.
If you miss a single word.
That's, you know, blame it all on my roots.
I shut up in boots and ruined your black.
Hold on.
I'm going to pull up the lyrics here because I know the words too, but I want to see if you miss a bit.
Dang.
Now that I think about it, this is tough.
That's because it's just pressure.
There's pressure.
now, but I mean, this should be easy.
Should be, but every word.
Some time in our life.
Nah, you'll mess that up.
You think so?
Is that the one you're thinking?
I was just trying to think of, lean on me when you're not strong.
And I'll be your friend.
I'll help you carry on for.
Oh, see, I would have messed that up.
Okay, ready, Eddie?
Yep.
Okay.
Oh, here's for a million.
For a million bucks.
One million dollars.
Blame it all on my roots.
I showed up in boots and ruined your black tie affair.
The last one to know.
The last one to show I was the last one you thought you'd see there.
I saw the surprise.
Sorry.
Wow.
Pay up.
You owe a thousand dollars.
Wait, I saw the surprise.
And I saw.
And.
Stop it.
No, that's a word.
Garth, Garth, call in right now and please correct them.
And I saw the surprise and the fear in his eyes and I think.
I bet you Garth doesn't say and.
It's on this sheet here.
When we saw him in Little Rock, I swear he didn't say it.
Oh, shut up.
Ray, what song would you pick?
You think you know everywhere too?
Kid Rock, Cowboy.
There's no chance.
Yeah, no way.
It's too many words.
And you've tried it while looking at the words and you still don't get it right.
I mean, I can get it pretty darn close.
But that's not the bit.
You have to get it perfect.
I mean, out of all songs, if I can't choose a Bible rhyme.
Let's see how far you go.
What about the Chicago songs?
I just need those as the melody, but I don't know even word for word.
Ready?
Yep.
Go.
Well, I'm packing up my game, and I'm a head out west where real women come equipped with scripts and fake breasts.
Find a nest in the hills.
Chill like Flint.
Dry and old...
Buy an old drop.
Dang it.
I thought it was dry.
Find a spot to pimp.
And I'm a kid rock it up and down your block with a bottle of scotch.
And botch, watch, and crotch.
And watch lots of crotch.
He says that?
Buy a yacht with a flag saying,
chilling the most,
then rock that,
beep, up and down the coast.
Get thrown in the...
No, give a toast to the sun.
Give a toast to the sun.
Drink to the stars.
Amy, what would you do?
I am a real...
Are you looking at one?
Are you looking at lyrics?
Oh, Amy?
Oh, you can't do that.
Amy!
I was in a school y'all!
You're always teeter chita-chaterpunk and eater now.
No, I would nail it.
Well, yeah, because you saw it.
Yeah, because you saw the lyrics.
No, even when I saw it.
I knew it.
You can't play now.
Yeah, you've been eliminated.
Lunchbox, what would yours have been?
I mean, I say lose yourself, but there's so many words on lose yourself.
You can't get to the first 10 lines.
You don't know lose yourself at all.
You say spaghetti like 20 times.
Spaghetti.
Bomb it on a spaghetti already.
My problem is, I don't know how long a lot of songs start.
That's not the problem.
Okay, Bones, can you give them the first word?
No, no.
I'm saying, lose yourself is too many words.
I don't know if I could do it for a million dollars.
So I'm trying to think of a Tina Turner song, but...
What's love got to do with it?
That's the problem.
I don't even know how it's like
Have you watched the documentary on HBO?
No, I haven't. I haven't had time.
She's like, yes, you do have time.
That's all you have.
You have so much time.
You guys think I have time.
No, we know.
You tell us you have time.
You tell us you go home and take naps.
I do.
And then I have the challenge.
I mean, the challenge is just wrapped up.
We got the challenge all stars going on.
If my favorite artist of all time had a documentary on,
I would watch it the second it came out.
And I got a text from someone the other day.
Like, dude, I'm watching this documentary.
It's amazing.
Here's the problem.
My wife doesn't want to watch it because it's too emotional.
She goes, you've got to watch that on your own.
So I have to find time when she doesn't have time to watch something so I can watch it on my own.
There is an Amy Fifth Thing podcast up today.
She shares emails and answers questions that have you sent in.
So it's a Q&A.
Anything.
Knock off items on Amazon.
You talk about that?
Oh, yeah.
Which is just a PSA out there because there is Pimp and Joy stuff on Amazon that is not ours.
Like it's not the quality that we make.
And then more importantly, there's a good cause.
no donation being made. So I get, sometimes I get notes from people like, so cool that y'all
are on Amazon. And I'm like, ooh. No, we're not. The only place you can find it is at the
shop floor. That's it. If it doesn't have that on there, then you're not at the right place,
because there are knockoffs, which is sad because people think they're making a donation
to something. Yeah, that does stink. So check out the fifth thing where Amy talks about.
I mean, there's more than just that. But yeah, listeners email and all about all kinds of things.
And you never know when your email might pop up.
know. You never know, which is fun. Mike, with the show mailbag, how is that? Is it just nonstop?
Oh, yeah. Can you even, honestly, read every single email? Every single email? No way. It's that,
it's that. I'll go through maybe like 50 a day. I'll start at like a certain part of the day and just
keep going until I just can't anymore. But no, that's impossible. There's probably like 10,000 emails
I haven't read. Do people mostly send in advice emails? I would say one of about every 15,000,
is advice.
A lot of it is like complaints,
and then also people like trying to get their cousin played on the radio
or asking us if we can get somebody to come to their wedding or something.
Complaints.
Yeah.
Mostly about what?
Lunchbox.
And what kind of stuff?
Amy, don't worry.
Anytime he has an opinion on something,
people are like, how do you have them on the show saying these things?
And who are they writing that to?
Me?
Mainly to you.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I think they think you check it.
I don't. I've never even seen it. I don't know this mail.
Mike D runs it. Morgan promotes it. Mike D runs it.
Yeah, so they think you're reading it. They're like, hey, how do you have this guy in your show?
But those are real emails that we get and read in the mailbag segment.
Yeah, and then some of it is also like back checking or like, hey, you guys mentioned this, check this out if you want more info on it.
Oh, that's cool. There's a lot of stuff like that.
What would you say the positive and negative is on email?
I would say 80% positive, 20 negative.
What would you say it is on Facebook?
On Facebook?
Yeah. Like 97% negative.
What would you really say it is, Morgan, on Facebook?
I would say it's 70% negative and 30% positive.
Because you've got to think you're really not going to comment on something unless A, a question is being asked or you're upset.
And if we're just posting content, we're not going, hey, what is your answer to this?
For the most part.
We ask their opinions on topics, but it's never like, most of the time it's just them talking about themselves.
so when they give negative things,
it's never when we're asking them a question.
It's always just a random article that they're like,
well, I didn't read the article, but here's my opinion.
It's really what happens.
Do you check the comments every day?
Yes.
They're not fun.
That's a bad job.
That's a bad job.
I would, I mean, I look at comments,
I'll like a YouTube comments and I'll get upset.
And they're not near as bad as Facebook comments.
They still suck.
I don't go to that page.
Let me say this six days.
Next Monday night will be Caitlin and I's episode on Running Wild with Bear Grills on NetGeo.
We'd appreciate it if you guys will watch it live because the only way we get the ratings for that.
If you DVR it though too, and Mike's going to explain this to me off the air, you get other ratings for that?
Like different ratings?
Can you get double ratings?
No, not double ratings, but it counts towards all the viewers.
It does?
In the window that you watch it.
That's cool.
So we want people to DVR it right now and then watch it live.
Even if you watch it live, I would say DVR or TV.
Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
And then just hit DVR and play when you leave the house.
I can do that.
Are you going to have a watch party at your house?
We were thinking about it.
Yeah.
But our theater room doesn't have cable.
We can probably stream it.
Well.
Like I have Hulu.
I can connect my laptop to it and we can rock and roll.
But Disney kind of as of you.
Well, no, I can do Hulu, yeah.
But it's on Nat Geo.
Yes.
Channel.
I think I have it on Hulu.
That's interesting.
It's an interesting thing to think.
Let me know because that'd be great. I'll bring chips and queso and salsa and we'll watch it.
Are you bringing four kids though? At 8 p.m. They won't be asleep.
Every time, bones, they go wherever I go.
That's not true.
And yeah, that's not true.
For the most part.
No, it's not.
They go golfing with you?
I've been doing that. It's a nightmare. I've got to stop doing that.
You've taken them now more now?
Yes, yes, and it's bad.
It is.
I got to do more one-on-one and less three at the same time.
Did they just start playing with each other and then find little stuff to do that's not really golf-related?
It just doesn't matter what we do at some point.
There's an argument.
Then it turns into a fight and I got to break it up and then I've got to separate two of them.
And then it's just a mess always.
If we do a watch party, though, everyone's going to have to turn it on at their house so that it's airing at their house.
Oh, correct.
I don't know if party's the word.
Okay, watch.
But they call it watch party.
Yeah.
I don't know that.
I don't know.
Let me.
We had dogs.
And if there are dogs and kids and one of these dogs that I have is not ready.
To just be able to, I don't know.
Let me figure it out.
All right, that's it for today.
This was a little post show.
Let me say this.
On Sunday this week, we're going to load up a very special show that is the rejected segment show.
It's just rejected segments from the whole month.
There's a whole show work for April.
The month of April, right, Mike?
Yeah, you know, it's probably 20, 25 minutes of just us going through segments we didn't do on the air, rejected segments.
That'll be up on Sunday's feed.
Will that be like a new monthly thing?
Possibly.
Like once a month.
We're kind of, Mike and I are kind of dicking around with some ideas.
You say that's so nonchalantly.
We, we're working on some stuff.
Because I feel like the post show, you don't want it every day.
We can do original programming.
I think we're going to do a couple B-team press conferences.
Like I've done on the Bobbycast before, but I'm put them over here.
Get some listeners on and ask questions.
Oh, where you have on.
And everybody just ask questions.
And it's its own show.
Those always do really well.
and I'll put it over here on this feed.
So there's some stuff we're working on.
Sounds good.
There is the...
Don't worry about it.
What?
Not that you're worried.
We got some...
What?
I don't want to just put up the show
and be content with that.
And I don't just want to put up a show of what we didn't do on the show
because I feel like that's like the Junior Varsity show.
I want to put up...
We'll still do it, but I want to put up other stuff too that people go,
oh, this is great content.
If you're a show fan.
Or show listener.
I really don't say the word fan.
But okay, that's all for today.
I'm going to lunch.
Have a great day, everybody.
Follow everybody on Instagram.
Thank you.
So we should say our handles.
Nah.
Everybody knows.
Just go to the Bobby Bone Show page.
They're all linked up there, aren't they?
On Twitter, yeah.
There you go.
Okay.
All of us have the same one.
Dear God, it's me, Bobby.
He's at Mr. Bobby bones.
Say, I'm talking to God for a second.
Dear God, thank you for this day.
Go ahead.
Okay.
I was going to say, do yours.
Okay, I'll do everybody.
He's at Mr. Bobby Bones.
I'm at Radio Amy.
He's at Radio Lunchbox, at producer Eddie, at Webgirl Morgan,
and at Mike Deistro.
D-E-S.
No, because I haven't been my phone as interned Mike, so I was just, wait a minute.
And then at Mike DeStro, at Scuba Steve, at...
I don't know if it's just Scuba Steve, though.
Scuba Steve Radio.
At Scoop with Steve Radio, he's not always posting that much.
Then at Cizan Ray Mundo, which is S-Z-N-Ramundo.
Cizan.
Are you ever going to change that, Ray?
No, I got merchandise coming out with Cizan Raymundo, so I think I got to stick with it.
Oh, wow.
I told you, I'll wear it.
Give me a merch piece.
Yeah, yeah.
They said they're getting the website ready.
They expect a lot of traffic, so.
Is that right?
The traffic for the Cizzen Raimundo is going to be so high that it will crash the site?
I really told them the numbers I was expecting,
and they said we need to get the manufacturing up to par over the next month
and practice with a couple other people before.
They said that I'm the thoroughbred.
I'm the main horse.
How are you gauging your numbers?
On my DMs, I told them I could easily, I mean, today they'd sell 75 to 100 articles.
That's just saying people that have DM me.
Who knows even bigger than that?
Oh, okay.
But you think 100 articles are going to crash a site?
Well, for them, I don't know if they're prepared necessarily for that.
I think blogspot.com is prepared for that.
That's 100.
That's nothing.
But they also have to, I don't know.
The printing, I don't know.
That's what they told me.
They're making the shirts by hand?
They're knitting them all?
What?
Caitlin did tell me, we were talking about the show last night, Ramon. She was like, I could listen to Raymondo. Do you do a whole show. Sometimes I just want Raymondo on the show all day. I was like, I agree. That's awesome. Yeah. But you're also doing 19 other things at the same time. Yeah. Okay.
That's it. You guys, have a great day.
Enjoy, and we will talk to you tomorrow. Bye. Bye.
