Starting point is 00:03:16 Which, by the way, we've been running. What time is it? Almost 11. Can I get some water? I know we're already recording. Can you... Remundo, would you have someone sending some water? Mm-hmm. I'll take the sparkling, please,
Starting point is 00:03:26 from the mountains of... I don't know. Just something. Ozark. I'm dying here. Yeah. Some Mountain Valley, please. Okay, so here's the situation with Ramondo. Tell me what happened. Yeah, so I go to, should I name the class? No. Okay. No. But you can talk about it in detail and people will figure it out. All right. So I go to an exercise class and it wasn't my recent boxing class.
Starting point is 00:03:52 It was a different one, randomly the same last three days or whatever. But I go there with my wife. She gets me roped into this class. I've never taken a class before. And it's one of those where they put your scores up on the board, how many calories you burn, all this other stuff, everything. I go into it. I'm just trying to beat Bayer. So we're in there.
Starting point is 00:04:07 There's 20 people. Dudes, chicks. Saturday morning class. All right. I'm like, 5% home over. I'm like, all right, let's do this class. Let's do this class for Bay. Do it for my wife.
Starting point is 00:04:16 We get to do in the class. Whatever. You go to the different circuits. 12 minutes on the rowing machine. Is this sounding familiar to anybody? Maybe. I have not done this class. Me neither, but I know what you're talking about.
Starting point is 00:04:28 So it's, I mean, the rowing machine I've actually never done before. So 12 on the rowing, 12 on the treadmill, and then 12 with weights. So I do all those, and it's all about points. Your stuff is on the score. It's basically like a game you're playing. It's a big scoreboard, and you wear these monitors so it monitors your heart, judges a bunch of different stuff. Anyways, smash cut to the end. Class gets done.
Starting point is 00:04:49 I was just trying to beat Beezer. I win the entire class. I mean, there's dudes in there that are roided out. your boy, not even to brag, this isn't a low-key flex, because it's my conspiracy theory. I win the entire class. I burn the most calories. I missed this other point category by one, and I think it was just because the girl was a female and y'all's hearts are different because it also measures your heart.
Starting point is 00:05:11 But I won it all. Like nobody was even within a hundred calories of me. So my conspiracy is, it was my first time at the class, I did it for free. I think they let you win. So then you'll be motivated to come back and like, oh, my, I was so pumped. After that class, I was like, Bay, that was so dope. I was like, we're going back next Saturday. I got to beat those people again.
Starting point is 00:05:30 So I really do think they do something magically with the scores and the computers. They allow you to win is really what I think they have you do. Did you sign up that day from our classes? We did it because I told Bay, I was like, Bay, the endorphins are going right now. We're not signing up right now for this class. But I strongly believe conspiracy theory. I didn't win that class. I looked over multiple times.
Starting point is 00:05:53 I was going the same speed as Bay. She finished middle of the pack. don't know how my numbers did what they did. Maybe they go after the guy because he at times makes the money decisions. And I won the class. I won the whole thing. I mean, yeah, because I was going to say, are y'all the only... Had to get a little sexist there, didn't we?
Starting point is 00:06:06 Yeah, of course. Are y'all the only new people in the class that day? Like, if that's how they operate, they kind of just have to pick the one new person to sucker. We were definitely new. But there was, hey, everybody welcome, Sisson and Laura. Is there like a wink to know that whoever finished a second really wins? Mike, will you Google that and see if that's a situation on the internet where they let, Ray, you might have just won, though.
Starting point is 00:06:27 You're a good shape. I am, but I am telling you, I told you I was 5% hungover. There's dudes in there with straight up Under Armour Gear. Like, they literally live for Saturday mornings to win this. There's no way I beat the guy next to me in Under Armour Gear. No way. I was wearing half-tied shoes and, like, baggy sweatpants. Do you know what the class is called, Mike?
Starting point is 00:06:45 Yeah. Okay. No conspiracy theory on that. Ray, you might have just won. I've just put it out of the other. Go back again if you can and see if you win again. I want to end on that peak. That was such a high.
Starting point is 00:06:56 Because it won't be his first time again. Right. But if he wins again the second time, you know it's real. That's my point. Oh, gotcha. Tonight, on time with Bobby Bones. My guest will be Jake Owen and Larry Fleet. They'll be performing at my house.
Starting point is 00:07:08 You guys can watch. It's on Twitch, but you can also just click the link and watch it on your computer. You don't have to have Twitch. I like for you to have Twitch. You can comment, but it's on tonight. So you guys can watch that if you would like to. Virginia family drove the remains of a family. Remember to California to spread her ashes on the coast.
Starting point is 00:07:26 But someone broke into the car in Santa Monica and stole them. No. That's the worst. Didn't you have a friend lunchbox that happened to? Yeah, he had his dad in the front seat and they were going to go spread the ashes the next day. So he let them in the car overnight. Someone broke in, never got him back. The Virginia family brought the remains of their beloved sister and Aunt Lane to California.
Starting point is 00:07:44 They were going to spread her ashes. Some broke into the car, stole the ashes. That's heartbreaking. These twin sisters are so close, they breastfeed each other's babies. No. That's okay. No. Tell me more.
Starting point is 00:07:58 I don't know. I've never breastfed. Why would your instinct be now? My instinct does no. But I guess if my sister's baby needed milk and I had it, I'd give it to her. But if they do it regularly? I don't know. It's just such an intimate experience with you and your baby.
Starting point is 00:08:16 Twin sisters. I know. Eddie, you went to. It's gross, man. No. I mean, there's a bond moment between you and the baby, and you're not going to share that with your sister. And for the sister to want to do that, bleh. They are identical twin sisters
Starting point is 00:08:29 married to identical twin brothers Oh, this is a whole thing So did they do the brothers too? What? Wait, what? They do the brothers? What are you talking about? Switch?
Starting point is 00:08:40 Amy, what's gotten into you? Nothing. It just just is the thought. Like, maybe they share a lot. I don't know. Oh, so you did mean what you said. Yeah, yeah. We thought she might have just said the wrong thing.
Starting point is 00:08:50 No. This is like after dark. Huh. There is a handheld device that zaps your neck. and can boost your focus and energy and sleep-deprived people. Oh, wow.
Starting point is 00:09:04 You saw this story. Yes, and basically it made me think of the dog shock color we used to do here on the show. I was like, oh. And how it's a good thing? We used to get zabbed at work all the time. But that wasn't to wake us up. Shocker trivia.
Starting point is 00:09:16 Well, I know, but now we know we could have been giving ourselves a little energy. See, I feel like without even Bobby talking anymore, I feel like you were already thinking because yesterday we were all like tired and everything. You're like, I already lost these two. I lost you. I lost. You guys weren't focused.
Starting point is 00:09:29 So I bet you're already thinking, ooh, we get a little zappy zapping when we look tired. No. Yeah, yeah, bones. Yeah, I'm on. We don't, we're not bringing the dog collar back. Are we? That wasn't the point of it, but you brought up a good thing. That was a fun bit.
Starting point is 00:09:42 I didn't think about it. It wasn't that much fun. The listeners loved it. And you loved it. I would wear it, though, sometimes too. No, not, I would. Sometimes. I rarely.
Starting point is 00:09:53 I wore as much as anybody else did. No. Yeah, I think so. And then the weird smile you would get when you would zap us, it was like very creepy, dude. It is fun. You were like, yeah, this is cool. Does anybody in here think Bobby wore it as much as any of us have? No. Okay, yeah. But it doesn't matter
Starting point is 00:10:07 because here's the thing. It doesn't matter because you play trivia with him, he gets them all right. So him wearing it is just like Nolan Boyd. Well, no, no, no. I did get shocked some. But I did get shocked, buddy. Speaking of dogs, Eddie's having an issue with your dog. Yeah, she's peeing. I mean, my dog's already
Starting point is 00:10:27 like a 13-year-old, like a teen. teenager where you just, you don't pay attention to her for like five, five minutes or whatever, and she just gets really upset. So lately, she's just been peeing. When we're home, she never needs to go to the bathroom. She's got a doggie door. She goes outside. But if we leave her alone for like a couple hours, three hours, we come back, there's pee and poop in the same spot. And I'm like, I don't, it's getting old. Like, we're tired of steam cleaning. We bought a steam cleaner. Like, that's how bad it is. We bought a steam cleaner. We had to buy a steam cleaner like wet carpet makes the carpet wet and then scrubs it up too.
Starting point is 00:11:02 Yes. And then she still goes to that same spot. So I bought a big crate. Like it's a big metal crate and we're just going to put her in there every time we leave the house. And I've never done this before. Do you feel guilty about crating her? Yeah, a little bit.
Starting point is 00:11:15 I mean, she had free range, man. Like ever since she's had, she's been at the house, she's like, she sleeps on my son's bed. She's got the doggy door. She goes outside when it's nice and sunny. She doesn't when it's rainy. She had the life. And now she's just got to stay in the crate when we're not there.
Starting point is 00:11:29 Yeah, the crate may train her to realize. Like, I went through a phase like that with our dog, and I crated her for a little bit, and then now she has free rain again. Oh, okay. I don't, some people hate create training. I don't hate create training. It's worked for us.
Starting point is 00:11:42 And now, Ella, she stays at night because she's been in heat. She can finally go get fixed in like two weeks. But she's been in heat. But we would crate train her when she was really young. But now we keep her crate, because she has this big mud room, we call it in the house that's attached to a doggy door that goes into the yard.
Starting point is 00:11:58 and she has access to the whole yard that's fenced in and the mudroom, but now she just sleeps on her crate with the door open. So the crate to her is now like her safe space. We never punish her about putting her in her crate, because as soon as you do that, they supposedly associate that with being punished. That makes sense. But I don't, what do I know,
Starting point is 00:12:17 except just having dogs my whole life? I don't think there's anything wrong with crating them. And I told her too. Like when I put... Because the crate fits the size of the dog. It's huge. Yeah, then you're good. It's like 10 times her size.
Starting point is 00:12:27 And so every time I, put her into, I look at her, I'm like, this is your fault. And she looks at me like, okay, I get it. She does. She gets it. Yeah, she comes like, all right, and then she lays down her little bed and everything. She gets it, though. I think so.
Starting point is 00:12:39 I hope so. I don't think she gets it. I think she's like, why am I putting? Because I do give her, I feel like with my kids, too, like when I give them the look, they know what I'm talking about. Like my baby, I mean, he knows when I'm upset. And it's all, it's not what I say. It's not like, no, don't do that.
Starting point is 00:12:53 It's the look. And when he sees the look, he's like, oh, dad's pissed. Like, all right, I got it. What do you look like when you're pissed? Like this? Do your voice drop? Like, I don't. No, it's the look.
Starting point is 00:13:05 It's not even the voice. It's just the look. It's almost like, ooh, I just disappointed dad. And I love doing the look because they change immediately. Are you more of a disciplinarian to your kids or a friend? I have to be the disciplinarian because my wife doesn't discipline very well. She disciplines, and they laugh at her. When daddy disciplines, they don't laugh.
Starting point is 00:13:24 Wait, they literally laugh at her? They laugh at her. and they make fun her and they mock her. Yes, it's terrible. No way. It's terrible. And I have to tell them like, that is not funny. And I got like half a smile.
Starting point is 00:13:34 And I turn around. I turn around so they won't see me smile. But I mean, it's really bad. Like, they just do not respect her. And I think it's because they see, she's so sweet. And I think they really see the weakness in that. Like, oh, she's sweet. She's a minute.
Starting point is 00:13:48 And all four of the kids? All of them. It's crazy. And so you have to be doubled in. Yeah, man. I have to be like, real stern with them. When you come in and you're upset, do they know and they're like, oh crap. Yep, they do. They line up. It's almost like a military line. Like they all line up like,
Starting point is 00:14:03 oh, butt puckered and everything. Like, all right, dad's talking. And then one of them, too, I was talking to him. And they give me this stare like, you can tell they were listening. They were just doing like the, yes, because you told me to drill sergeant, look. And I'm like, did you even hear anything I said? They're like, no. I'm like, all right, this isn't working. All right. Nobody can be scared of me. All right, the scared tactics are not working. Now let's just listen to dad. But then I know you play a lot of ball with your kids, like in the yard. Yeah. Are they cool then or are they just playing a ball with the drill sergeant?
Starting point is 00:14:31 No, no, no. When we're playing, it's no drill sergeant. It's just whenever they disrespect or they're not listening or paying attention or whatever. Hey, when it's playtime, it's playtime. I'm not trying to make them like pro ball players or anything. All right. I don't know, Eddie was such an enforcer. Happy.
Starting point is 00:14:46 Eddie's like the nicest guy. He's like happy. Well, see, and that's the thing, too. They always say like, you know, dad, sometimes you're happy and sometimes you're not. like, do you see the pattern, guys? When you're doing what you're supposed to do, Daddy's happy. When you don't, that's when Daddy's mad. You know what that reminds me of?
Starting point is 00:15:04 Caitlin tells me I'm her North Star. And she's like, you know what? You're my North Star. You, we're good. If you're in a good mood, I'm in a good mood. She goes, I follow your direction. Oh, that's tough. I'm like, what?
Starting point is 00:15:19 She goes, if you do something dumb, because I do dumb stuff. But let's be real. We're kind of like that here on the show, too. What do you mean? If you're in a good mood, we're all in a good mood. Then why don't you guys put me in a better mood? We try. Bring in like snacks, shoulder rubs, cheeseboards.
Starting point is 00:15:32 We try the water. You like that? I'm very grateful. My head's killing me. Like I have a crazy headache. I just text, Kate, and I was like, what do we have at home about my head? I think it's just dehydration. We worked out outside yesterday.
Starting point is 00:15:44 Oh. And it was 93 degrees. Head's killing me. A mom buys and wraps all the Christmas gifts for the next three years. Oh, she can. can know that much in advance? Which is a pretty baller move. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:58 Sounds like something I would do. It doesn't mean you can't buy more Christmas gifts, you know? Oh. A mom has taken shopping early for Christmas presents to the extreme. She's already purchased all the gifts for the next three Christmases and they're already wrapped and ready to give. She shared her extremely organized gift cabinets on Facebook where people were impressed and then questioning, they question her plan.
Starting point is 00:16:17 But she's like, look how, it's one of those organizer things more than it is. But to be that organized, you're a little, a little OCD. which I say that as someone who also is not about organization but about other things but yeah she's already bought all three but you can also set that up and get a bunch of views I think what Mike and I are going to do is we're going to set up one of these TikToks what we should do we should create a fake scenario
Starting point is 00:16:37 these people are always creating fake scenarios they're like you know what happened I looked under my bed and there were two fingers and we don't know who they were from and one finger looks like it's from a warlock and one looks like it's from a pink fairy and we tried to call the phone number that was written and then there's a secret latch in the door that takes it and it's all this crazy stuff you're like
Starting point is 00:16:53 Oh, and it goes 10 million views. But they say I'm not making this up. They're like, guys, trust me, this is real. Promise. We should create a fake scenario. Put it on my TikTok and see if people buy that crap. Because every time I'm, now I'm starting not to believe TikToks. Barely?
Starting point is 00:17:06 I've never believed it. Yeah, some of them, though, are real. Oh, no, nothing. Like the woman who found that trap door in her, like that secret room in her house? Was that, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Was that real? I believe that one now. Did you see the last one I sent you of the lady that's found, like a phone number in the
Starting point is 00:17:21 in the side drawer? What was that? crazy about that though. Well, she got it at a thrift shop. She just bought a random piece of furniture and in it was her mom's phone number. Oh, her own mom's. Her own mom's phone number written by her sister. What? And she's like,
Starting point is 00:17:35 this is crazy. That's my mom's old phone number and that's my sister's handwriting. And then she said, I promise I'm not making this up. Oh, oh. Well, then of course. We have to believe her. See, I would think for sure it's rigged because it's easy to, first of all, you can fake all that.
Starting point is 00:17:50 Yes. All of it. And even with CGI too, even, it's like, well, no, the video's there. You guys, you can make up anything. Lunchbox brings me all these crazy videos of like, dude, look at this throw of this guy throwing it over a building. I'm like, that's all fake. You see Tom Brady today throwing a football into the moon? Okay, see? It looks really real.
Starting point is 00:18:09 Exactly. It looks real, but it's not. If it was on TikTok, I believe it. Especially if he said, guys, this is real. I didn't make this up. Mike, we should think of a scenario and see if it gets any traction. But don't spoil it. If you're listening to this right now, don't go on the comments section.
Starting point is 00:18:22 to be like, no, he talked about this on the show. Because you guys do that sometimes. Pissing me off. Kills bits. Sometimes people are just, I put up a video of Kately and I dancing at her sister's wedding, and 80% of the comments were great. But then people were just being complete jerks.
Starting point is 00:18:38 What was it saying? All kinds of stuff. So I just took it down. It's like, I don't even want to deal with it. I'm going to start putting crap up and cutting the comments out of it, you know? All right, that's it. I think we're done.
Starting point is 00:18:50 Now I'm all mad. Yeah. I'm like, calm down, breathe. It's fine. Like, can't let certain commenters ruin your day. That's it. You guys, thank you very much. Thanks for listening to the Post Show.
Starting point is 00:19:00 We'll see you tomorrow. Don't forget on time tonight at my house. At 9 Eastern 8 Central, 7 Mountain 6 Pacific. No time zone. You can go to my Twitter and find the link. You can follow on Twitch. If you don't have Twitch, which you may not,

This Sunday, I'm Breaking Bobby Bowens. is my 18 wheeler show. Oh, cool. There's two of them. There's me on a towboat, and then there's me with driving the big rig. I haven't seen that episode yet.
Starting point is 00:19:28 Do they address the part where you fail the driving test? I don't know. I haven't seen it yet. Usually I have an okay episodes, but it's one of the last ones we did. Did you record it? Like, did you say, like in the recording? Yes, yes. We talked about it, and I was like, I didn't pass all the tests the first time. Who knows if they use it or not? But I haven't seen the final cut. That's cool. I feel like that'll be good. It's more relatable.
Starting point is 00:19:50 I'm not saying, yeah, sure. Yeah, no, I mean, I don't see why they wouldn't include it. Yeah. Well, who knows? Because I was talking with her, maybe it isn't, I don't know. Yeah. I bet they do. All right, thank you guys.
Starting point is 00:20:00 Have a great day. We'll see it tomorrow. All right, if you have ever dealt with a traditional home security company, you know the drill.
