Here's your host, Bobby Bones.
What's happening, friends?
Eddie says he has witnessed two near-death experiences in the past few days.
What?
Crazy, crazy.
So the first one was, I took the boys of the pool.
The whole family was there.
And there was like a little kiddie pool.
But right next to it was a big slide where older kids can go down the slide or whatever.
And then there's a lady on top of the slide.
I'm talking about two stories.
And she's yelling, my baby!
My baby!
And I'm not even swimming.
I'm just chilling on the side on the little picnic table on my phone.
I look up.
Did you start, did your lifeguard?
Yeah, it comes back in.
Did you get another save?
You know it.
So I'm starting to like my life.
Does this save from the kiddie pole count though, Amy?
No, well, I don't know why she's growing.
When she's screaming my baby, I'm like, oh, so I start scanning the water, like a lifeguard.
All my instincts come back.
I start scanning.
All his training.
Yes.
And I'm looking and I see nothing, which is even worse than I thought.
That means the baby's submerged.
She's pointing, my baby, my baby.
Luckily there was another parent in the area.
Yeah, the baby had fallen off her floaty.
device and fell face first into the pool and she was just floating like almost look lifeless and the mom
the the you caught you finally found her finally my eyes finally found her and then the mom picked her up
baby was eyes wide open breathing and just startled so we're like oh thank goodness but i mean bones
i was at the edge of the pool ready to go in i mean why didn't you go in anyway even if they didn't need
you just be there just in case i really just didn't know where the baby was but i mean again the
kitty pool is about knee deep, so I wouldn't have had it.
Oh, it's that deep, huh? Yeah.
Okay, I pull back that comment a little bit.
You guys angles?
Well, we go to Walmart and we get a pool in the summer.
You fill it up with the water hose.
Shins.
And it would go to, you just sit in it and it still doesn't even go all the way.
Like, that's what I thought the kitty pool was.
Like one of those you buy out in front of Walmart.
Yeah, no, no, no. But knee deep.
But anyway, I didn't have to save anyone.
Thankfully, the baby was good.
And I even went to the mom.
Is she cool?
Like, everything good.
She give her mouth to mouth though, just in case?
Yeah.
No, no, no need for all that.
And then the second one
Oh I forgot there were two.
Guys, I was at the grocery store and I'm walking in the grocery store walking through the parking lot.
And I see it even right before it's about to happen.
There's someone backing up their car and there's a family walking behind it.
And the little girl probably the age of nine, eight or nine walking behind this car.
And whoever's driving this car is not a slow backup.
She's going backing up.
And I'm like, oh my God.
Oh my God.
Oh, my God.
The kid's going to get hit by a car.
and the mom just reaches for her child and pulls her and misses her.
I bet the bumper tapped her foot as the mom was pulling the baby away, the little girl away.
So your scream saved it?
I didn't scream.
I was just like, oh my gosh.
Put your hands in the air.
Did you wave them around like you just didn't care?
Yes.
Yes, hands in the air, waving like I just didn't care.
And I just couldn't believe it.
I mean, we were a split second away of bad, bad catastrophe.
So, okay, to be fair to Eddie, before we started ribbon him a little bit.
Which you are.
Which we are.
You didn't say you almost saved two lives.
No.
You just said you saw two.
I witnessed.
Yeah.
Okay.
But you did kind of set it up dramatically.
Like my lifeguard instincts are back.
They hear on the back of my neck raised like when I was at 19.
I'm telling you, at the pool, I was ready to go and rescue mode.
I believe you.
I believe you would have jumped in.
Thank you.
But that's crazy that you saw both of them.
I did.
They watch music starts like playing in his head.
Eddie pulls it off and he's got his one piece red swims it on.
Yeah.
Always ready, boys.
There is a podcast called Get Real with Caroline Hobby.
She has a comedian Josh Wolf.
Carolyn Josh talked about his climb to the top of the comedy world while being a single dad to three.
He also talks about how an encounter with a homeless person on the street holding two tacos changed his entire life perspective.
So if you're looking for a new podcast, I was over on the B-Team page yesterday,
and they were talking about what podcast I listened to, like outside of the show.
And I think this is one I would suggest.
Get Real with Caroline Hobby.
It's fantastic.
And she's even filling in a bit from me on the Opry, too.
I saw that.
Natalie and I kind of split duties sometimes where Natalie is doing the feed stuff and I'm doing the TV stuff.
But now Natalie Stovall, who's gotten all famous and she's in Runaway June now, she's torn the country.
Wasn't like to be famous and cool Natalie Stoval.
We knew her when she was playing fiddle for us.
That's right.
And by fiddle, I mean dominating our band too and singing and fiddling and us being like, man, she deserves a bigger job than this.
But yeah, Caroline Harvey's doing just a great job.
The hottest new tattoo trend is facing neck tattoos more than never before.
like tattoo artists are going hey they're coming in
at a substantial rate
Post Malone right
Justin Bieber
well neck
but he didn't get a face
yeah but neck
but neck is crazy
face is ridiculous
do you know anyone personally that has a face tattoo
maybe Zach Brown
oh yeah maybe he's got a little one
yeah what does he have
he's gonna be on the show Friday
Tear drop
I don't know I don't think so I mean you killed somebody
Tear drop
I mean a blank tear drop means you tried
and
If it's not filled in
filled in means killed in
Yeah filled in means
successful. He has a lot of tattoos, but him and I have the same tattoo person.
I mean, I've got like five. He's got like 500. But it's the guy who filled in on our show when
lunchbox was out, Adam the kid. Adam the kid. And so, I bet Zach has something on his face.
Do we know anybody with the tattoo on their face? I don't think so. That's hardcore.
Someone brought up to me, I said, hey, because we talked about if we know somebody that's 100 years old,
or if we ever met anybody 100 years old, or if we ever met a billionaire, right? And I was like,
100 years old, no, I guess a billionaire.
And I said Charles Schwab, because I met him a few weeks ago.
Yes.
Also, Johnny Morris from Bass Pro.
Oh, of course.
Yeah, he's like 75 or so.
But he's a billionaire?
Yeah, many times over.
And so I'd forgotten all about it.
It's worth $4.1 billion.
You're two rubbing elbows with a bunch of billionaires out there.
Two.
And the Charles Schwab one was quick because I was out doing some work for Charles Schwab.
And I met him real quick.
And I was like, wow, look at that.
and he's vibran as could be.
Yeah.
But yes, I do know Johnny Morris a little bit from Bass Pro.
That's crazy to think he has $4 billion, right?
I also think when I drive by any Bass Pro,
or Arkansas Keynes is like, yeah, I was Bass Pro today?
He'll get some new binocular or something.
I'd be like, man, I could probably just call Johnny in.
Get a rebate on that.
So, yeah, I saw the face tattoo thing.
Don't get a tattoo on your face.
And here's why.
It's a trend.
Trends come, trends go.
It's a trend.
Trends come, trends go.
I want you to remember the trends go part.
Unless you're also in a career that is extremely creative.
Tattoes are tough, especially when you can see them everywhere.
I'm seeing a lot of chefs, though, with sleep tattoos.
Oh, yeah.
More than I've ever seen before.
Yeah, because they're creatives and artsy.
Yeah.
Tinder has launched a Block Your X tool that helps users avoid any awkward run-ins while on the
dating app. So I guess you wouldn't want to see your ex on a dating app for a couple of reasons
probably. Yeah, that'd be hard. But now Tinder has launched the option to block specific contacts
on the app. It includes ex-partners or even family members or colleagues. Like if you know
they're on it or you can just select in your contact for all of your phone because that's in the phone
number. You can just block out that person. And so that's good. I did see, and we don't have to talk
about this. I did see
on, speaking of the BT
Facebook page, I guess Morgan had broke news over there that she has a
boyfriend or something. I knew it. Listen,
she posted something like... I mean, do I see
like dude's feet in her Instagram post? Really?
Did I send you a DM? I was about
to one day when you posted, yeah,
an ankle and a foot.
But I respect... I respect
that she didn't want to show his face. I wasn't
going to bust her balls about it until she came in here
and was like... I was just going to say, is that
someone special? Well, I wasn't even going to
do that on the show. Because
if so, she just sent me a note going, hey, I'm willing to talk about this. I'm not even talking
about it now, except for I saw her post on the page, something like, yeah, it's going great,
not ready to talk about it yet. But you even just said that, so I feel like I can get to
that level here. What can I ask you? That's my question. What can I ask? What are you comfortable
saying? I'm not sharing anything about him yet, but yes, I do have a boyfriend. We've been
seeing each other since February.
Four months. Okay. Yeah. We both count on our hands. We're like one, two, three. Like,
seeing each other for a while, but newly boyfriend and girlfriend, so that was the
exclusive side of it. You didn't want to take on the Mike's wedding? No, I'm just, like, I'm,
I'm at the point now where I'm really enjoying our bubble together, and we've met like each other's
really close friends, but besides that, we're just really enjoying the time to get to know each other.
and it's the healthiest relationship I've ever been in,
so I'm staying on this path.
Until we both really feel like we're ready for everybody to know everything,
then we're just kind of wait for that moment.
Are there any questions I can ask?
Is he an athlete?
No, he's not an athlete.
That's it.
That's the only question I needed.
That's the only one you could ask.
I'm going to tell you why he had athletic feet.
When I saw his feet like on the tube in the morgue, I was like,
this guy's a good.
I shouldn't say no, he's not an athlete.
He's not a professional athlete.
He's athletic.
Well, lunchbox plays rec soccer.
No.
I'm an athlete.
Is it more than lunchbox?
So he's minorly?
More than lunchbox but less than Ryan Tannahill.
Oh yeah.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
To both.
Yeah.
Way more than lunchbox?
Not way more, but.
Wait, wait, wait, wait.
I am a rec soccer player.
You're telling me he plays higher than Rick?
Yeah.
There's something.
Or used to.
He competes in things, but it's more of a passion hobby than it is, like, professionally.
Is it like pig calling?
When you see like on ESPN 3, they're like,
And then they give away ribbons.
No.
It's a form of fighting.
He's an MMA fighter?
He's a fighter?
Like UFC?
No, not either one of those.
Is it Connor McGregor?
I knew that foot looked familiar.
Is it Jake Paul?
No, no, no.
Mike Tyson?
No, no, no.
Hey, don't talk about me.
Okay, so we're going to leave it there.
I'm not going to press anymore.
You are with a former fighter
who we will now call
Rocky Balboa
speaking about him
and you let us know
when you are willing
to go further down the trail.
Yes, it's very healthy
I'm very happy
and lunchbox has a question by the way.
What about Bobby's wedding?
I mean,
no plus one there.
Yeah.
But I mean,
you could bump her up
just to get this guy around us.
We don't have room.
If she proposes before your wedding
Yes, yes.
If they're engaged, yes.
Or if he proposes.
Yeah, that's not happening.
Is he older than you?
Same age.
That's cool.
Well, it's just like, I don't,
my natural instinct is to just keep kicking rocks and keep,
you and Rocky Balboa, be safe, stay in your bubble.
Morgan.
We'll talk, what's it, June 8th?
Maybe by, you know, July 1st, we talk about it again.
Yeah.
I'll give you until July 1st.
Yeah, I promise to tell you guys.
I put her on a date once as soon as I'm ready.
Okay, there she is.
Morgan number two with semi-breaking news.
Can you say how y'all met?
No.
Oh.
Breaking news, Morgan has a boyfriend.
That bit always hurts my throat.
Yeah, you shouldn't go so hard.
You have to go hard at.
No, it doesn't.
When you do breaking news, how we do it, you have to scream it.
Oh.
Okay.
App.
No.
I said she can't.
No.
I was going to say it.
Title, boxing, your gym.
He's a fighter. She boxes there.
I'm not even looking at Morgan right now because I don't want her to react in any way.
I'm just going to stay connected with you, Amy, and move off of this.
Because I don't know if that's true or not.
Which is a guess.
But it definitely could be somewhere that you meet someone.
Or a backyard fight, you know, underground fighting ring.
Oh, yeah.
That's true to?
Roosters.
It's true.
Yeah, cockfighting.
What if he's a cockfighter?
Exactly.
No, what if he's a cockfighter?
She could be dating one of my eyes.
Michael Vic?
No, absolutely not.
That's dogs, dude.
I know, but she said fighter.
Yeah, but I'm way too big of an animal over for that.
You, he still fights?
He's in recovery.
Okay.
Michael Vic is?
Right?
Yeah, I'm sure he's doing great.
Have you ever watched a documentary on those dogs?
How they get back into...
Yeah, man, that's really good.
Is it...
Oh, man, I don't know what platform it's on, but, man,
you think a lot of the dogs die, but most of them didn't get rehabilitated, got homes.
Fully rehabilitated?
Like, went back to...
Some of them and some didn't, but they're on a farm where they, you know what I mean?
They still get to live out life.
And there's a really good documentary.
There's a woman accused of killing her friend with eyedrops.
Which, by the way, you know, you can give someone diarrhea by just taking vizine.
I've heard that.
People do that at bars.
Putting it in their coffee.
They do it at bars?
Yeah, like to just mess with people.
And then I've heard, too, that if you keep doing it in someone's coffee, it can eventually, like, poison and kill them all the time.
Some wives have done it.
Prosecutors have accused us.
Oh, remind me after the story to talk about that.
The wives thing.
Excuse me?
Prosecutors have accused
a suburban Milwaukee woman
of killing her friend
by poisoning her with eye drops.
Jesse Korseski,
37, was charged Friday with
homicide and two counts of felony theft.
The criminal complaint shows
the case began in 2018.
When Kerseski
called police to her friend's home
saying her friend wasn't breathing,
the complaint doesn't name
the friend a deputy found the woman
in a recliner with crushed medication on her chest.
Investigators initially thought she overdosed.
Kerseski said
there was a possibility her friend was suicide,
toxicology test, so the woman had a fatal dose of tetrahydrozolein, the main ingredients
and eye drops in her system. When investigators told her that that killed her friend
and the scene was staged, she looked like a suicide, she said it was what her friend
wanted. Oh.
And then she must have staged her own suicide. Later, she told an investigator she brought her friend
a water bottle loaded with six bottles worth of vizine. She didn't think it would kill her
because she had been, quote, drinking it regularly for so long. Detectives eventually
concluded that she committed $290,000 worth of fraud, went on and on.
But it was the eyedrops.
I don't understand, though, from this story, Mike, maybe you can help me, because I read it
last night too, if she gave her this bottle with all the eyedrops in it and she drank it
knowing it was eyedropped stuff, it could kill her.
The friend says, I mean, you just said the friend said that that's what she wanted.
But is she saying that because she got caught?
Correct.
You never, I mean, it's hard to believe people when they say that.
You're going to need that on video.
Yeah, we're going to need to hear your iPhone message of her saying that.
But that's a wild story, huh?
Yeah.
Study shows people still want their reality TV.
What reality show do you watch now?
Lunchbox, I'll start with you because I know this is right up your alley.
I watch The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, The Challenge, Survivor, Amazing Race, Teen Mom.
I'm trying to think what else.
Oh, Project Runway.
I mean, there's a lot.
Big Brother.
According to ratings and DVR usage, people still make a point to watch a lot of reality TV.
Amy, you? Housewives at all?
I haven't in a while, but it's still a favorite.
I want to go back to it.
But, yeah, most of the housewives cities is a few I don't like.
And breaking bobby bones, does that count?
I don't know if that's considered reality, though,
because there's really nothing to, like, live a life with.
I mean, it's real.
It's not following you around.
What's the category, Mike, on Rotten Tomatoes?
I mean, you could argue that that would be reality in the real way.
Because you're meeting with real people and you're in their world, their life.
But I would almost consider that to be more doc.
I don't know.
Let's see what it says here.
It is labeled as breaking body bones special interest.
The genre special interest.
And we found someone who went on as a prank and gave Breaking Bobby Bones like half of one star on Rotten Tomatoes.
So we've asked that people go over and you can just click Facebook.
can get an account and give it five stars.
And so it hurt my rating for a while.
I did.
I wrote a really nice paragraph too.
Thank you.
It hurt.
I'll be honest with you.
When I saw that half star.
I'm sorry, man.
I thought maybe life's not worth it.
Okay.
Stop.
They were just trying to be haters.
Eric Church got fired.
And listen, we've talked about this on our show before a bunch of times.
And every year or so it comes up as a new story again.
But it says,
the secret history of what went down.
And then Rascal Flats fired him from opening their tour because he was playing too long.
And he was like getting outside the opening part.
The opener doesn't get the whole stage.
The opener gets a small part, always.
Like the baby act gets a small part.
The middle act gets a little more.
And the whole stage where all the instruments are for the big act.
You mean like space on the stage.
Yes.
Both.
Yeah, space and time.
And so the whole story comes out and church was playing too long.
They booted him.
Rascal Flats has talked about letting him go.
They said they don't regret it.
After Eric got fired from Rascal Flats tour for playing too loud and too long,
Bob Seeger offered him a 45-minute slot on his tour.
We talked to Eric about this two years ago,
and we asked him if he and the flats are good now.
Here's what he said.
I think so.
It's been so long.
It's an interesting part of history, too,
because you've got to look at the other side of the way that played out
is the person that replaced me on that tour is Taylor Swift.
And that in itself is an interesting part of history
and how that turned out.
We talked to the flats about it two years ago
and they were all in here.
And so, yeah, it just comes up
as a new, like, fun story about once a year.
Why don't we play a game
and then can I call it?
Here's the game we did not get to.
And then the wives thing, you said to tell me about wives.
Yeah, good.
Here's the game we did not get to last week
because we had too much good content,
but it's still a good content.
At some point last week,
maybe Monday or Tuesday of last week, Mike.
Jerry Mathers
turned 73 years old.
Who's that?
Hey Mike, put that review back up.
Was that good or bad?
No, oh, Travel, Nat Geo, travel, and slash reality on TV Insider.
Oh, so it is part reality, I guess.
I mean, I couldn't argue against it.
Matt Rouse says, another familiar face
comes National Geographic for wide-ranging adventures.
When the country radio, it's country DJ.
I hate being called a DJ.
Like you want to, you want to, if someone calls me a DJ in an interview, I'm just like, oh, I'm disgusted with myself.
I'm disgusted with, I'm just disgusted with everybody.
I'm not a DJ.
I don't pick the music.
I don't spin the music.
I think you're insulting DJs are actually good at spinning music.
I don't do the show.
We can do the show with no music.
I am not a disc jockey.
I don't know.
For some reason, it hits me so wrong.
I'm so offended when that happens.
Scuba's like a nodding his head in agreement.
Oh yeah, that is like the bane of, I'm,
I hear that. It's like hearing nails in a chalkboard.
You're right. We're personalities. We're radio personalities.
We do a show. We're not playing.
We're not spinning records. We're not, we're not turntables.
We're not wiki wiki. And it's also an insult to Deadmouse.
Yes. Calvin Harris.
I get way too.
I get way too irritated to that.
Country DJ Dancing with the Stars, Winter American Elementary Travels, the United States,
the sample the extreme ways Americans work and play.
His first challenges. Okay. I thought it may have been a thing there.
Okay, here we go. Jerry Mathers turned 73 years old today.
Who is Jerry Mathers?
No clue.
Lead it to Beaver.
He's Beaver.
Wow, he's that old.
He played Beaver Cleaver.
It's black and white.
I used to watch Beaver.
Yeah, it was a good show.
Make a night.
It's on Peacock now.
Is that right?
Nobody cares.
I'll give you the name of an actor.
You tell me the TV character
they're best known for playing.
Oh, boy.
Okay.
Speed round.
Oh.
Yell your name.
Ready?
Yeah.
Say your name.
name as the buzzer. Jalil White. Lunchbox. Lunchbox.
Hurkle. Correct. Wow. Slow down, buddy.
Next up. Alfonso Roberto. Eddie. Uh, fresh prince.
Slow down, buddy. Lunchbox. I need his name. I need the character name. You know his name.
Okay. I give you that one, but don't do that crap anymore. Don't do you know his name.
You have to say it and you have like... Carlton.
1.5 seconds, okay? You know his name. By time there.
Jim Parsons
Lunchbox
Lunchbox

Correct.
Woo!
Oh, George wasn't enough?
No.
Okay.
And also, I said time right at the time.
And then I'm not giving you George, Eddie.
Ready, next up.
Dennis Haskins.
Lunchbox.
Dennis Haskins?
Time.
He's just yelling this name.
Eddie.
I don't hate the strategy, but just so you know.
Go ahead.
Amy.
Yeah.
Dennis the menace.
Eddie.
His real name is Dennis Haskins.
Is that the show?
I don't know.
Eddie?
Mr. Belding.
Correct.
I'm saved by the bell.
Oh.
Michael, we keep it scores.
This exhibition.
