The Bobby Bones, Post Show, pre-show.
The post show is its own
separate entity now on the same feed,
so you're not going to hear this
at the beginning of the radio show.
So if you're hearing this,
we're trying something new.
Let us know what you think.
it by itself or not. But there's that. Secondly, this priest accidentally plays rap
rap music during Mass. Did you guys see this story? No. We have a clip of it too where, I mean,
in the end, it's pretty funny. But Father Pat accidentally played rap music during his online mass.
Rapper Black, the Ripper, was blasted around the church. Residents and Father Pat took the
technical Missap Well and made jokes about it. Here you go. Here's the clip.
father and of the son
the Holy Spirit
Okay
It's Black the Ripper
Slass Sampson
A good child on productions
Check the freestyle
Look
Black the Ripper
We had a bit of rap
In the morning
We'd ship
I guess no one else
thought it was funny in there
I think it was online
I think it's all Bertrand
Yeah so we don't want a lot of people in there
Got it
But that's why you also heard the echo of the song
But also, you know, glad that Black the Ripper wasn't vulgar.
Yeah.
Which I don't think he is anyway.
But, isn't that funny?
I love that.
Our father who are in heaven.
Yo, yo, yo.
Black the Ripper is here.
Let's see here.
What else do I have?
Ray Mundo is using his Employee of the Month status to land sponsorships now outside of the show.
Okay.
For the show.
So, Ray Mundo won employee the Month this last year, which I gave him some cash.
Do we do your man minute on the air?
We did that, right? That's the segment he wanted to do.
Terrible.
Ray Moino, tell me what happened.
Yeah, so Hyundai of Cool Springs was asking me,
what separates you from the A guys, like Bones, Amy, lunchbox?
Why would we want you?
And I kind of was on the spot.
And so I go, well, I mean, I was employee of the month.
And they loved it.
And we signed the deal.
And my commercials were going to start going.
And they kind of thought it was cool that I was employee the month.
So I thought, man, I'm actually benefiting from that now monetarily.
So you think they signed?
with you because of your employee
of the month status. I was quick thinking
and I made light of it and they thought it was kind of
catchy and they're like throw that in the commercials.
I'm like, we'll do.
I think you're probably the best commercial reader we have here.
Why did your voice crack still?
Interesting.
Do you have any of these commercials that you've already done
or have you cut them yet or what?
No, I haven't cut them yet.
Okay.
I bet he could just go off the cuff.
Yeah, I bet I can't.
I do think Raymond is probably
Yeah, he is good.
The best of, he doesn't do a lot of them, but I would hire you.
Thank you.
Because also, you're not going to charge as much as Amy or myself.
Exactly. That's what I told him. I said, I'm budget, but I'm still going to get to the consumers and we're going to get these cars sold.
Oh, wow.
And I got a gambling site now, and then as well as this now car dealership.
So I got two boys on board.
So you have two clients.
Are they both local?
Do you have any national ads?
No, no, no.
I'm definitely on a local basis, just trying to grow that way and then maybe regionally and then national.
hopefully.
What do you mean regionally?
I don't know. You just say stuff?
I think that the local ones, I'm friends with Kat and she's lined these up, so far, so good.
We have a lunchbox bed idea that we're going to send him out to do.
It's called Willett Pizza.
Have you heard this bit yet?
So Lunchbox is going to go to the grocery store.
Have you heard it yet?
Yeah, I heard about it, yes.
It'll be called Willett Pizza.
It'll happen on the show.
So he's going to go to the grocery store, and he's going to get a frozen pizza.
And then we're going to see which pizza chain is the nicest.
and we'll actually cook that frozen pizza for him.
So he actually goes to the restaurant.
So he goes to a pizza.
I was like, hey, listen, I bought this.
It's any way you could cook this for me?
Okay.
Will Pizza Hut let him cook it?
Will Dominoes, Papa John's, Little Caesars?
We'll call it, will it pizza?
What is your prediction now?
Will anyone let him cook it at their store?
Amy?
I feel like there's going to be some employees somewhere,
even though it's got to be against company protocol
to put other outside food.
But I'm going to go with somebody from,
Papa John.
You're just going to say yes or no.
Do you think...
Oh, yes.
Eddie?
No, I think the policy is like the best out for them to be like, sorry, man, can't do a company,
won't let us.
Yeah, I don't think there's any chance that anybody allows it.
You don't think there's one employee that's going to bend the rules.
Not unless you're giving them some cash.
Yeah.
I wouldn't.
Some weirdos shows up with the Totinos and I'm a pizza hut.
You're out of your mind.
I'm like in fire for this.
Yeah.
Some other ideas that we had, will it taxidermy, where lunchbox calls a taxidermy place.
And says what?
Well, I don't...
To stuff him?
I think it should be like an old pet that he's been keeping
that had passed away and been keeping around
but Mike D's suggestion was I'll read you Mike D. This is not
We're not going to do Mike D's suggestion
Lunchbox calls a taxonomy place to ask if they will tax it
army his 90-year-old grandma
That's funny
There's no way
There's no way
What if they say for the right price?
I bet they would
How about this? Will it toast?
Lunchbox goes to subway and tells them to keep toasting a sandwich
over and over again.
Until it's really burned.
Will they toast it until it's completely burned?
Totally. That's funny.
How about Willett Barber?
Lunchbox puts on a really long wig and goes to a
barbershop to get a haircut. Well, they cut it
while he's wearing it or tell him to get out.
That's funny, huh? Yeah. Good stuff.
But we'll do Willett Pizza first.
Okay. And I vote no, that they can't.
I mean, I know they can't,
but there might be a rogue employee.
No way. But what's the benefit
of that, though? Yeah, there's no benefit.
Just them being like, oh, whatever, I want to
help a guy out. You want your pizza cooked? Okay, I'll do it. I asked this guy at Wingstop to throw in
an extra hot sauce in there. He wouldn't do it. And I was like, how much is that? He's like,
30 cents. I'm like, come on. Help a dude out. Why were you begging for a 30 cent hot sauce?
Because I ordered it on postmates or whatever, and he says, I can't do that because the order's
already done. And I'm like, come on, please. Come on. I even got his name. I'm like, Duane. Help me
out. Come on. Amy's fifth thing podcast is up where she shares emails from you guys and answers questions that you've
sent in. On today's episode, Amy and her sister, Christy, go over a bunch of questions from an
Instagram Q&A box. How is that? It was good. She kind of just read a bunch of more of like a
rapid fire because there was there's a lot of little questions that come in. So it's like a fast Q&A.
Lunchbox did the bubble bath life hack that I was talking about on the air where you take soap.
It was not a life hack for us. We just couldn't afford bubble baths. So we took dishwashing liquid and
squirted it in the bathtub and you slap it and then bubbles come. But that was old school and you guys
were like wow, you guys did that? But you did it with your kids? I did with my kids and they
acted like they had never seen so many.
I mean, there was more bubbles than I'd ever seen.
And they had so much
fun with the dish soap
as the bubbles. They were just blown
away and how many bubbles it created
because the normal bubble, now there's a few bubbles,
but they loved it. And I was like,
dang, Bobby's got this parenting thing down.
I can't wait to have a bathtub again.
We have no bathtub. I love taking a bath.
I haven't done the bubbles in a while.
Not with the dishwashing liquid.
Now that I have a job, I usually do.
I haven't.
Yeah, but I haven't.
But I have Mr. Bubble.
Pink.
That's legit.
Yeah.
Smells like bubble gum.
Yeah.
That's good.
And it's only good for a second, though.
And you get out and you have to shower.
Do you have shower after a bath?
Of course.
I shower before.
Before.
What?
Amy.
What?
Yes.
I shower before because I want to get into the tub really clean and then be sitting in cleanness.
I am confused.
You guys, I'm confused by both of you.
You shower before a bath and you guys shower after a bath?
Of course.
I would say I shower after a bath.
a bath when I put something in the bathtub because I need to wash whatever that is off of me.
If it's bubbles, that's still on my skin.
If it's sometimes I'll put, I don't know, like lavender bathies.
I don't know, just something random.
I need, I'm way too silky when I get out, so I need to wash that off.
And then another thing I'm confused by, I expect Bobby to take a bath.
Like, that's kind of, Eddie, you take baths?
Not very, not, it's very common.
Why are you stammering around?
You got really, I don't have a tub at home, but if I stay at a nice hotel and it's got a
Oh, you bet I'm taking a bath for sure.
I don't have one at home, though, to do that?
Do you clean it first?
No.
Oh, when we were staying in Iowa, we went to Estersville, Iowa, and there was that bathtub
in the hotel room, like in the bedroom.
Not in the hotel room, but next to the bed.
And it was like on carpet, and Caitlin was so weirded out by it.
She was like, this is from like a weird late 70s.
And the hotel hadn't been updated since then either.
But I was in love with it.
Did you bathe while she was just hanging out?
Are you kidding?
Every night?
It was a place.
plastic bathtub, I could reach out of the bathtub and touch the bed.
That is so weird.
I would just go and turn it on, get in that thing butt-necked and just lay in the bath.
And she was like, I'm not getting in that.
First of all, it looks weird.
Because it was like a, it was one year it was white, I could tell.
Oh, like they painted it?
Well, no, no.
It's kind of a yellow now.
It's not good.
Yeah, one year, for sure, that thing was white.
but it was like a plastic
egg shelly
yellow bathtub right next to the bed
Sounds cool
I am just blown
I did not realize everybody took baths
I mean the last time I took a bath
was when my mom gave me a bath
But that was it
But that was also
In the last 10 years
Because you hurt your leg
Yeah but that's what I'm saying
Like since then I've never thought
I'm gonna take a bath tonight
Like that's just so weird to me
Like you would just
It's relaxing
You should get a try
However if I stay in long enough
My heart starts to pound
Like it lifts your heart rate up because the water is so hot.
Yeah.
And I'm not getting in a bath unless it's hot.
But we don't have a functioning bathtub right now.
We barely have a functioning shower because two of...
We should get our bathrooms up April 8th.
Oh, gosh.
It's like a whole month, man.
It stinks.
Yeah.
In the small guest room that we're staying in,
because we have two bedrooms that are completely locked out.
We have the small guest room we're staying in.
the air, heat,
ventilation thing isn't right.
And so we have to leave a door open
in the bedroom,
which then the dog's like,
doors open,
I'll just go and chill,
you know,
walk in there at 2 o'clock in the morning
and he snores.
It's just a whole thing right now.
All right.
Anything you want to say,
Amy, before we shut this one down?
No.
Just hope everybody has a great day.
That's back, huh?
That's back.
I've realized I'm missing it.
I'm not saying it's bad.
Yeah.
I think we should encourage everybody.
I got a call yesterday.
that our wedding bands are in.
Oh, that's exciting.
I don't know if we can get them today or not.
If they're in, that means ready to be picked up, right?
I think so.
I haven't paid for them yet.
Oh, because you have to make sure they're good.
Oh, is that what it is?
Yeah, you have to, like, approve them.
Well, I got to get a chain to order around my neck.
You're going to do this?
Wait, what did you decide on that?
Well, I was talking to Caitlin about it last night.
She was like, you're going to do that?
Same thing as Eddie's saying.
You're really going to do this.
And I was like, yeah, why not?
And she was like, you don't wear jewelry.
I was like, what?
I'm just thinking, what if you lose it?
But it's not my wedding band until I'm married.
Okay, but you're going to order a new one.
Don't you get insurance on those things?
I guess it depends.
I don't know.
My husband was $45.
Well, I have two.
I have a nice one, a nicer one that's like metal or gold or something.
I don't know.
And then I have a rubber one.
Oh, good.
Yeah.
So I just have never worn a ring.
Other than to put one on as a joke or had a
class ring in 12th grade that I end up giving my sister like a month later I've never had
It's gonna be weird dude. It's gonna be real weird. Yeah, never have had a ring. All right, you guys
doing short losers today? Yeah. Yes or no? I mean, we did one yesterday. We do one every other
day. So you're not doing it. But not everyone listened to yesterday. So there's a new one up.
But the answer would be no, you're not doing one today. Right. But you can listen to an amazing one
yesterday. We had a woman Nancy Lieberman. She was like the best basketball, women's basketball
player in the 80s and she had a personal relationship with Muhammad Ali and all these famous athletes.
Pretty incredible story. You know her? You heard of her? No. She's awesome. I saw her on you guys's
graphic, but no, I don't know her. Yeah, she's really, really cool. I had asked Eddie, because there's a guy,
a friend of mine does basketball broadcasts for ESPN. A lot of SEC games. Him and Carl Ravich
do them. His name's Jimmy Dykes. I was like, hey, do you guys want Jimmy Dykes on your podcast? Like,
never heard of him. Nope. I was like, all right. I said, sure. I don't know who is. I never heard of him. No. So I told
Jimmy, I was like, hey, don't worry about it.
Eddie, Eddie, I've never heard of him.
He's the main dude for college basketball.
Had you ever heard of Nancy Lieberman?
No.
No, exactly.
I went to Eddie, I said, hey, and I told Jimmy no, so I'm not going back to him now
to be like, I did not say no.
I said, sure, don't know who it is, though.
Eddie goes, I don't know who he is.
I mean, sure.
And I was like, no, like, I got you guys a guest.
Why don't you ask the other guys instead of asking?
Well, because I'm with Eddie all the time.
Yeah.
But I don't know the who.
Who's who's are the what's what's, dude?
Like, really, I don't know who anyone is.
I enjoy hearing their story, though, and learning who they are.
So can we have them on the show, please?
Nope.
Not anymore.
I already told him no.
All right.
I mean, you can go back to him and be like, and he was wrong.
Well, I didn't say anybody's name.
I was like, hey, they, I guess they're booked.
That's what I think is what I said.
Is that the guy you talked to when you got on the Arkansas broadcast?
Okay, I know who it is.
Yeah.
Should have said that earlier.
What do you want from me?
All right, this is the post show.
Thank you, guys.
This is now its own file.
the rest of the show is not after me after this.
So what's after this?
Nothing. Silence.
The end?
People can find something else to listen to.
All right.
This is awkward.
I got real awkward.
I guess we're going to go now.
Go find the out of the show.
All right.
Bye everybody.
All right.
