Good morning. Welcome to the show.
We got a good one. Let me say this first.
Morning studio. Morning.
Let me go over to Indiana where on the phone is Fire Chief Robert wanting to talk about
tell me something good that he heard on the show.
Hello, Fire Chief Robert. Welcome to the program.
Hey, Bobby. How are you doing this morning?
Doing pretty good. Thank you for calling. What would you like to say?
Well, we were sitting out in a debate.
We were in the fire station and was listening to Amy to tell me something good.
And we just crossed the tail end of it. I think you were talking about our fire department
where we went on a run where a little 10-year-old
alerted to her family that there was a fire there.
We got there.
We were able to make a grab of two guinea pigs and save them.
And it was just pretty awesome to hear our names mentioned up there
because of the bravery of this little 10-year-old.
That was just pretty awesome.
I just wanted to say thanks for that.
Wait, that was your fire department?
Yeah.
Y'all saved Smoors and Scarlet?
Yes, yes, Mores and Scarlet.
Ironic name for one of them, obviously.
That's what I say.
That's so cool.
That is so cool.
The story, if you missed the story, a little girl in Indiana saved her family when a fire broke out in their garage.
Her name was Anna.
She's 10.
She was getting ready for school.
There was a strange noise coming from the garage.
And so the family were like, oh, crap, but they didn't grab their pets.
Luckily, Huntertown Fire Department, and that's where you're from, right?
Fire Chief Robert?
That is correct.
There we are.
Yeah.
Is this the chief?
Like, at the end, I shared a quote.
Robert Boren.
This is Fire Chief Robert Boren from the story.
We got somebody famous.
I loved your quote of just reminding people that if someone senses something's not right,
like lean into that.
I'm paraphrasing, but you know what I mean?
Oh, yeah, definitely.
I mean, it's amazing.
Sometimes we want to blow things off.
And sometimes our children are more intuitive about what's going on around us than what we are.
So we just need to listen up and pay attention and everyone can get out safe.
Did you know this story made the news?
So I put it on Facebook and then it kind of made local news, but I didn't know it made national news.
And all of a sudden, I'm listening to Bobby Bones, and I'm like, holy cow, that's us.
Yay.
This is awesome.
I know.
How about this?
Who was on this call?
How many, like, what guys were out there saving s'mores and?
Scarlet.
Actually, the crew that's working today, ironically.
So there's a big group of us, and there was about two other departments that joined us also.
So it was a big group effort.
Well, how many people are in your crew that are working today that were there?
Today, there's actually five of us.
Okay.
Here's what we're going to do.
The five that are there with you right now,
plus five. We're going to send you guys some Pimp and Joy stuff to your firehouse because we just
appreciate what you do, that you listen to the show, that you went in and saved these animals,
what you do every day. Like, let's not let that be lost, too. Like, you guys are risking your
lives. So we're going to send, we're going to put you on hold. Yeah, we'll send some hats.
And just appreciate you. We'll put you on hold, get your address, and send some stuff to the fire
station. How's that? Well, we're, thank you so much. This is awesome. We really appreciate it.
Thanks for sharing the story.
Dang.
Yeah. Thank you.
Like, I feel like somebody famous called in.
I know.
Honestly, this is cooler when Tim McGraw calls us.
Let's be honest.
Right.
Because if we tell me something good, when we do it, tell me something good,
like obviously we really are shouting these people out.
But the fact that the people were shouting out actually hear it, that's awesome.
Now remember after the tell me something good, though,
we question whether it's worth going in and to save a guinea pig.
You remember that?
You remember that?
Well, let's ask him. How did you all feel about that?
He's here.
Let's ask him.
What are you like a guinea pig?
And rabbits, too.
So at first we were like, man, we don't know if there's much hope, but, you know, we still have to try because if anything, the family can have closure if it wasn't successful.
When we found them, when we found out that they were alive, the tears of joy that were running down these little girls' face, the dad, like, hooting and hollering and just screaming at the top of it was out of excitement.
You know, it might just be getting pigs with someone else, but for that family, it was everything.
And that's why we do what we do.
it's not the small things or the minute things.
It's because for someone, that's a major thing.
So we have to do whatever we can for anyone at all times.
Dang.
Dang, I wish I wouldn't question the case.
Right.
I know.
And I wasn't saying, no, I just wonder if the guys were like,
we've got to go on for a guinea bag.
Excuse me, for course.
Well, yeah, he just said they were like, ooh, but also, I got to say,
is that the first time y'all have ever administered oxygen
to a little tiny animal like that?
We've done it for cats and dogs, but we've never done it for guinea pigs.
Love it.
it works.
Well, let us say it's been a real treat, real honor to hang out.
Do you still have the goatee?
I'm looking at pictures of you right now.
You have a cool fireman goatee?
You still have that?
Yeah, of course.
I can't lose that.
I'm a firefighter.
I agree.
Like when I see a firefighter, he'd better have some facial hair, or I'm worried.
All right.
Hey, appreciate you.
Thank you for doing what you do every day.
We're going to put you on hold real quick, Ray, and we'll get his information.
There he is.
Tell me something that comes alive.
Hope you have a great morning.
Thank you for calling.
Thank you, you too.
All right.
How cool is that?
I love it.
What a way to start today?
Here's a voicemail we got last night.
I think I'm getting scam and I wanted to ask you about it.
I want to know trying to rent an apartment and they want me to send them a $600 money order
before I get the keys.
What do you think?
Is that a scam?
All right.
You guys stay cool.
It's hard to know if that's a scam straight up.
The money order thing is weird.
That leads me to think scam because a money order there's really no tracking like a check.
Money order is basically cash.
I would say, hey, can I send you a check if that's for a deposit?
Because your name's on it that can't just go anywhere.
It only goes to the person.
It feels scamy, but I would say, can I send it to you as a check?
And if they say no, then I'm probably a bit more concerned.
Because the money order is how they get people on Craigslist.
Is it?
Yeah.
It's like, make a money order, send it to us.
And also, what's the $604?
If it's for deposit, I get it.
Or first and last.
It feels scammy, but I'm not going to commit to scam.
There's more questions I need to be asked here.
Feel good on that?
Yeah.
All right, let's open up the mailbag.
Here we go.
You send an email and we read it on the air.
It's something we call Bobby's Mailbag.
Yeah.
Hello, Bobby.
I've been going out with a guy that I met on a dating app.
He's a lawyer.
And we've been talking now for a while.
We've been on a few dates.
The other night, he took his shoes and socks off for the first time in front of me.
And his toenails were painted.
I was totally caught off guard.
and to be honest, it was an instant turn off for me.
Do you think I'm wrong for suddenly not liking him after that?
Should I got to tell you right away he paints his toes?
Or is it okay to find out by him casually taking his socks off during a movie night?
Thank you.
Signed Kelly.
Amy, you want to go first on this one?
I feel like I would want to know.
I think that that's something you disclose almost in your dating app profile.
Here's what I think.
I think you have to disclose that as you're taking your...
socks and shoes off. Because who knows why
his toenails are painted? Does he have a niece that painted his
toenails? And he didn't go
get toenail polish remover on.
Who knows why his toenels are painted?
Well, if that's the case, then yeah, he doesn't need to tell you.
But if so, don't you think that comes up
date one? I think it comes up before. No, I don't. But I think it comes up
when you take your shoes and socks off.
I think if you're, unless he just forgot,
I tend to side with him.
Because if his nails aren't painted, he's not wearing a bunch
of earrings or his hair. It's probably
just a kid in the family. It's probably just a kid in the
family who painted his toenails. So I say, don't write him off yet. Just ask him, hey,
what's up with your toenails being painted? Okay, and so what if he says? I love to get pedicures and
my toes are always painted. Good scenario, Amy. I think if you like them, it's a, and if
you're struggling dating, it's a weird reason to just write somebody off completely. But I guess if
it makes you vomit, then you got to go. I just think there are worse things that people can do
except paint their toenails.
Well, of course, there's worse things.
I'm just talking about a level.
I just feel like maybe I would want to know that beforehand.
I want to know if your nipples are pierced, if you're a guy.
Interesting.
Well, there's no six-year-old niece piercing your nipples, right?
I would think that comes up before you take your shirt off.
Exactly.
Like one day you have him over and y'all are going to go swim and he takes his shirt off and you're like, what?
I found out once that a guy.
I knew this was personal to her.
I didn't know where it was going.
She's way too passionate about nipple piercings.
He didn't even have his nipples piercing anymore,
but I'd been on probably four dates with a guy.
I really, really liked him.
And we're casually talking one night,
and he brings up how he had his nipples pierced.
And so he could still put the piercings in if he wanted to.
And I couldn't get over it.
I mean, we just weren't going to be compatible anyway.
And I'm not saying I'm right for this by any means.
I just personally thought, oh, I don't know if I can handle if one day you decide you want to put him back in.
It's not my thing.
So that was weird for me.
So you punished him for his past that he's changed from?
No.
I could tell he's probably still open to it.
So I just felt like if you'd had them in, I would have wanted to know on date one.
What about a tongue piercing?
I feel like I don't know.
Because there were guys that had their tongues pierced.
And also not into that.
So I would probably want to know.
But that you can see right away.
Here's the thing about this guy with his toenails.
He probably should have told you before he took his shoes and socks off.
If you dump him because he has his toenails painted and you never even asked him, you didn't like him that much anyway.
So now that's what we need to ask.
Do you paint your toenails?
No, your toenails are painted.
Why?
As soon as you saw them, instead of sending me an email, you should have said, hey, why are your toenails painted?
But we like the email.
I agree.
Yeah.
But we are saying don't write him off.
She's asking, what am I wrong?
You don't write him off.
You figure out why and then you make your decision.
Yeah, figure out why.
And if the worst thing he does is paint his toenails and you dump him.
He still could be a really great guy.
That's on you.
Then you're the reason you're not with somebody.
All right, there you go.
We've got your email and we've read it on the air.
Now it's about to close.
Bobby's mailback.
Yeah.
All right, the segment's called Will It Pizza.
lunchbox you went to a grocery store and you bought what?
I bought a frozen de jornos because it's not delivery.
It's de jornos.
A frozen one.
A frozen de jrino.
Oh, my favorite.
Oh, does I say frozen?
Sorry.
But yeah, so I went to the frozen food and I got it and then I went to the pizza places.
Now list to me the pizza places you went to.
I hit up Papa Johns, Pizza Hut, Domino's, Little Caesars, and Jets Pizza.
The Bigs.
And you went in and said what?
I went in and just said, hey, and I had a different line every time.
One time, you know, maybe my oven was broken.
Other times, just, hey, I bought this and I really wanted some pizza for dinner.
So I was hoping you could cook it in your nice of oven because you guys have like the perfect heat.
So basically you took a frozen pizza at a pizza place and said, hey, I don't want yours where you cook mine.
Yes.
And the question is, and I don't know what happened yet, do you?
No.
Do you?
No.
You guys want to all put a dollar in?
Yes.
Okay.
First, the first question is, did anyone cook it?
Eddie?
Nope.
No, 0%.
I think maybe one worker thought this is hilarious, like the best part of their day, so they cook it.
But they just try and they don't want the boss to find out.
But they do it.
But you say there's a yes.
Oh, you're crazy, Amy.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I'm also going to go no for a dollar.
No chance, right?
I just think all five of them would, like the people working there would get in trouble unless they recognized them.
Let me ask you that.
Do anyone recognize you?
Zero people recognize me.
Okay.
I'm still going to sit with no.
You're no?
Yeah, no.
You're yes.
Yep.
Okay.
First up, Papa Johns.
I was just wondering if you could cook this for me.
We're not allowed to do that.
No, no, I mean just like stick it on your oven.
Yeah, we're not allowed to do that.
I'll give you a slice.
No.
Not going to do it.
All right.
She said, he said, cook it for me.
She said, we're not allowed to do it.
He goes, no, no, no, no, just stick it in your oven.
Yeah, because none is going to work.
That's the same thing.
Cook it.
No, no, no, no, not cook it.
Just put on that little rack there that gets heat underneath it.
Yeah.
Next up is Pizza Hut.
Here you go.
Did you bring us to Dornow and do a Pizza Hut?
Oh, yeah, I was just wondering.
No, it's not delivery?
Yeah, I was just wondering if you could cook that for me.
We actually cannot, because it's not our pizza.
Tell everybody to close their eyes and I won't tell anybody.
I can't.
Okay, oh for two.
My gosh.
Pizza said no.
Next up, Domino's.
Here we go.
Oh, yeah, I was just wondering if you could cook this pizza for me.
We are actually not allowed to put anything for it in the other.
I'm sorry.
No, no, it's not foreign.
No, it's from America.
Like, it's pizza.
No, I understand.
But we're not allowed to put anything that's not our product.
We're just not allowed to.
I'm sorry.
Okay, what if I put it in?
Can you let me put it in?
Pretty pleased with sugar on top?
It's really not allowed.
It's not our product, so we're not enough.
All right.
Thanks, man.
It ain't foreign.
I got it down the road.
It's from America.
Hey, Bones.
I forgot he said Little Caesars is in there, too?
Little Caesars and Jets are still remaining.
Oh, I might change my answer.
You can't.
You can't change me out.
Okay.
Here is Jets pizza.
Here you go.
How's going, man?
I was just wondering if you could cook my pizza for me.
Just like sticking the oven, like through your oven.
Hey, can we just put this in the area?
No.
I guess we're sorry.
You can't do it for me?
If I was manager, I would do it, but I would say.
All right.
Thank you, man.
Thanks.
I like that guy.
Yeah, see?
He's checked.
He checked and then was like, hey, man, I would do it.
Mm-hmm.
If he was manager.
Only one left, Little Caesars.
Oh, man, this could be it.
This could be it.
Why would you think Little Cesar would be it?
Oh, I go to Little Cesar's all the time and I see who works there.
A bunch of kids that don't care about anything.
They serve the hot and ready.
They don't even mess with you.
They're like, it's right there, man.
Get it if you want.
So they don't care.
These guys could be the ones.
Okay, here is Little.
Amy's the only one that said yes.
Yes.
Here is Little Cesar's.
How's going, man?
I was wondering if you guys could cook this for me.
We want us to stay dead peace, say in Arles?
Yeah.
You can do that for me?
Oh, man, thank you so much.
Do I need open, are you opening it?
Oh, thank you, man, so much.
I knew it.
I knew it.
I knew it.
Play the season for the win.
Wow.
Amy wins the game.
Good job, Amy.
Lunchbox, what did you think when they said yes?
Were you shocked?
I mean, I was blown away.
I could not stop smiling under my mask
I didn't want to laugh because I didn't want them to know it was a joke.
But dude put in the oven.
And so what did you do when he cooked it?
He put in a little Cesar box.
How long do you have to wait for that?
Oh, like a couple minutes?
Like, I mean, he literally just sticks it on the thing and it goes through.
So fast.
It's a hardcore oven, huh?
Yeah.
Wow.
Did you take it home and that's what you have for dinner?
I ate it, yeah.
And I even offered them a slice, but they didn't want any.
That's funny.
They said yes to that.
But it was great.
And there was a customer waiting.
They thought I was lost my mind.
Well, there's your answer.
Will it pizza?
Yes, it will.
There is.
Nice job, Mark.

Brothers Osborne released a new EP in honor of Pride Month.
Here's T.J. talking about some of the songs on the project.
Inevitably, even though some of our songs, they're very gender-neutral, and that was intentional, and it could go either way.
And to be able to have those now on an EP that's out there during Pride Month is really cool to see that come to life.
Lainey Wilson shared how the Yellowstone creator reached out to her to be in the new season.
He called me in February, and he said, what would you think about me creating a character specifically for you and have you in season five?
I said, ooh, I've been acting a fool my whole life, so we'll see.
I'm Morgan, that's your skinny.
It's time for the good news.
With lunchbox.
Tell me something good.
Dave Wolf is from Michigan.
He's a disabled vet from Vietnam, and he likes repairing bikes.
So in his spare time, he goes to salvage yards.
He finds bikes that are broken down, and he fixes them.
We got nothing to do with those bikes.
So he got with this charity that works with former inmates and was like, hey, they get out of prison.
They need a way to get to work.
We can't buy him a car, but guess what?
We can get him a bicycle.
They can pedal to work.
Get their life together.
And then he teaches them all about how to repair their own bike
if it breaks down.
And a couple of these people have even gone on to open their own bike shops.
That's pretty cool.
Yeah, I know nothing about bikes or cars.
Or anything.
Bucks.
Shovels.
Oh, boy.
Radio.
I know.
All right.
Good story.
That is what it's all about.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
Caitlin and I were driving in the car yesterday.
And we're driving home.
and I was talking about dogs, because I've had a dog pretty much all of my life.
I've always been a big dog guy.
And the first dog that I really had that I was told to take care of
was a dog named Bradley, who was a Boston Terrier
when I was about 12, 1112.
But it was like the first one that I had to make sure, and feed and water and bathroom,
everything was my responsibility.
And I loved this dog so much, and it would sleep on my chest.
It was a small Boston Terrier.
It was kind of the runt of the litter.
But when he got around,
five or six years old he started biting people and he got really mean and he would even wake up
from a nightmare and bite me like he would have a nightmare and just bite into my skin which i was fine with
i did i tried to get him right well he bit my mom and put her in the hospital or like the emergency
room because he bit her so bad then he bit a neighbor and then he bit it was just a biting fest
we could not control and he was just biting biting biting and so Arkansas keith my stepdad had to
take him and we had a friend that lived
one of his friends lived kind of on a big
plot of land and it was like hey we'll just take
him and put him there because
the cops were called on Bradley
and when the cops get called on a dog
and they're aggressive they take the dog and
they put them down
and so Keith took the dog
and put him with a friend who kind of
had a farm kind of place and I was telling Caitlin the story
and I was like yeah it was real bad
but Keith sent him to his friend's house
with the farm and she was like what
I was like no
He sent him, and he took Bradley and he sent him out to his friend that had a farm.
She goes, who's the friend?
I said, I don't know.
He said, she said, did you been to this farm after her to go see him?
I was like, no.
She goes, I don't want to make you feel sad.
Oh, my God.
She goes, I don't think that's what.
I was like, no, for sure it did.
I mean, I was like 15 whenever this happened.
So I wasn't nine.
Yeah.
And I was like, no, no, no.
I said, let's call him.
So I called Arkansas Keyes and got him on the phone.
I said, hey, man.
He goes, what's up?
I said, hey, what happened with Bradley?
he's biting all those people. He goes, well, after he put your mom in the hospital,
we had to put him down. I was like, what? Not the farm. I said, there was no farm.
He said, and then he started, he started laughing. Remember, that was even a story.
He couldn't believe that I still believed that. That's funny. And Katelyn was sad for me,
like 75% of it was sad for me that I lost my dog. I still think about that dog and I loved it
so much, but it did get way mean, right? But she was like, that's every story on TV.
that's every story that they take the dog and send it to a farm.
She was like, how did you believe?
I quote, she goes, I think you're one of the smartest people I've ever met yet.
You are the dumbest person when it comes to things about when it's your dog and heart.
It makes sense.
Maybe she didn't say dumbest, but she did say it, yeah.
If it was positioned to you of like, hey, yeah, this dog would normally get put down,
but we have a friend, luckily, that has a lot of lamb that can take it in.
Hook, line, and sinker.
I was in.
I would believe that.
I thought in my heart, maybe he's still alive about that running around.
Oh, no.
So from my childhood, I came crashing down yesterday.
I was sad again.
So how are you?
Yeah, you need to properly mourn this.
Yeah, I've been like oddly going, oh, I just know I love that dog so much.
And I really thought, I can't believe I was 15 and believed it.
At 15, I was already going with life.
You were such an adult, yeah.
You weren't an average 15-year-old.
And the fact that I never wanted to go to the farm and say, why did I not ask, okay, can I go to the farm?
mystery friend and see him? Never. Maybe you're deeply inside of you, you knew he was dead and
you're finally having to come to terms. No, it sounds like I had no clue. I had no clue. He never
wanted to go visit it. That's what I'm saying. I had no clue. If anyone else's childhood has been
ruined recently. Here's our phone number, 87777 Bobby. What did you find out about your
childhood that wasn't true at all? Because I'm still a little shaken from it. That's our number.

I was telling a story a second ago about being crushed.
Yesterday I was in the car with Caitlin telling her about an old dog
that I had named Bradley. Bradley bit a bunch of people.
There's multiple times they had to send them to this guy
that Arkansas Keithanoo's farm and I never saw him again. But I was happy he lived
alive at the farm. And Kaley goes, I don't think that's a true story. I think they
lied to you. I was like, what? I called Arkansas Keith and he was like, yeah,
they put him down. And I was like, I'm still distraught. Like, I'm still
mildly distraught. So I asked if anyone else's childhood was a lie. We have calls.
Can't wait.
Chris in Des Moines.
Appreciate you, Colin.
Chris, what's going on?
Yeah, so when I was six years old, my uncle who lives out in New York called me for my birthday
and, you know, it has New York caller ID on those old home phones.
And I pick up the phone and he pretends to be Derek Jeter.
You know, I'm a huge Yankee, huge Derek Geter fan.
And he's wishing me a happy birthday and I get off the phone and, you know, I'm shaking.
I can't believe it.
And for the better part of the next 13 or 14 years, I legitimately believe Derek Jeter
called me on my birthday.
That was my
so bad.
I was like, I'm telling my friends
and all this and that.
And then, you know,
my bubble was finally burst
by my mom,
just kind of accidentally.
Like, I kind of brought it up
and she was like,
yeah, no, that absolutely
never happened.
I was just out in New York,
you idiot.
I was like, what?
That stinks, man.
I feel your pain.
Because not only are you sad
that it didn't happen,
you're sad that you were such an idiot.
Like, it was like,
yeah, no,
I definitely should have,
should have seen,
uh,
seen what was coming.
Chris, I appreciate you sharing that story, man.
Have a good day.
Yeah, thanks for having me on, guys.
All right, see you later.
This is Abby in Missouri.
Abby, thank you for calling the show.
What's going on?
So mine's obviously not as traumatizing as finding out my childhood dog died.
But when I was a kid, we carved pumpkins at Halloween, right?
So every year our pumpkins had change inside of them.
So as I grew older and had my own kids, I wound up sneaking kids.
change into their pumpkins because I couldn't figure out where my parents had got my pumpkins
where the money had grown inside of it.
So this whole time as a kid, my parents told me that they set the money on top of the
seed and it grew inside the pumpkin.
I'm now 30 years old and I asked them how they do that and I finally found out that
my entire childhood was a lie until I was 30 years old and my parents just did exactly what
I'm doing to my kids.
That's funny.
And you're passing it down, right?
I said, I'm dumb.
Yeah.
All right, Abby, I appreciate that.
I relate.
I feel you.
I feel you.
All right, Abby, bye-bye.
Thank you.
Have a good day.
Bye.
You too.
Good story.
Stephanie in Oklahoma.
You're on the Bobby Bone show.
Stephanie, what do you want to say?
I actually have a compromising dog story as well.
I was a child.
I had to get my dog away.
And my parents would let me go visit it every afternoon.
And one afternoon, it actually broke the chain and got run over by a car.
And my dad saw it.
this and didn't tell me. And the next day I went to go visit it and he told me that the dog
ran away and was in love. Well, I was traumatized and wanted to find her. So he let me make
lost dog flyers and hang up throughout our whole town knowing that dog got hit by car the day
before. Yeah, that stinks. And you never heard back from your dog. Looking back now, are you a parent
now? I am a parent now. Looking back now, do you wish your dad would have just said, hey, this is what
happen to the dog and it would have hurt right then, but you wouldn't have had to continue
wondering if the dog was going to come back, or do you like what your dad did?
I have mixed emotions on it. I only have a one-year-old, so I haven't really had to get
to that point of life just yet. Yeah, that's tough. Well, we appreciate that story. Thank you for
sharing it with us. I think I would have rather been told the dog got hit by a car.
All that work with the lost signs. And you're just always wondering. Like, is he back? Is he back?
What do you think about that? You got four kids? I don't like that. I probably wouldn't do that.
Anything your kids are going to talk about in 15 years?
I'm like, our dad lied to us.
It's weird, man.
If it were up to me because my family, all they did was lie to me.
But my wife is just all about honesty, and she's just kind of led that with us to just, like, be honest with them, explain to them what's going on.
So we don't really lie that much to our kids.
Let me take one more call.
Not about that, but this is Katie in California who's on the phone.
Hey, Katie, how are you?
Hey, I'm good.
How are you?
Good morning, studio.
Morning.
What would you like to say?
All right, it's my daughter's 14th birthday on Sunday, and she is a huge,
fan and I'm going upstairs right now to her room. Could you guys wish her a happy birthday?
Does she know we're on the phone?
No, she's still sleeping. I'm in California. Then just hand her the phone. Be like, hey, someone's on the phone for you and I'll have a conversation with her.
Okay, hold on. Riley, I need you to wake up. Someone's on the phone. Okay, go ahead.
Hi, go morning. Riley, are you there?
Hello? Happy birthday. You're 14 today? Sunday.
So Sunday, okay, well, happy birthday from me and my friends.
We're all sitting here. Do you recognize my voice at all?
That's right. That's right.
How you doing this morning? Well, it's still a really early morning.
So maybe you're not doing so good right now.
Here's what we're going to do, Riley.
We're going to... I have no idea what's happening.
She said she was sleeping.
Okay. We're going to send you some Pimp and Joy stuff for your birthday, okay?
Really?
Yeah, really. I mean, listen, if you spend your mornings or afternoons listening to us,
We really appreciate it. It's the least we can do.
Hope you have an awesome birthday this weekend, and we're going to get you some Pimp and Joy stuff, okay?
Thank you so much.
You're welcome. Have a great birthday.
The Vibovost Show.
Here's Amy's pile of stories.
So I've got unwritten rules that everyone should follow.
So let's see how many of these you do.
Do you keep a plunger at your house?
Yeah, in every bathroom.
I've just had the experience of me using the bathroom at someone's house,
accidentally stopping up the toilet for one reason or another and have to go like,
Hey, there's just asking for a friend, but do you guys have a plunger somewhere?
That stinks.
That's an unwritten rule.
Another unwritten rule everyone should follow.
If you cancel on a friend, it's your responsibility to reschedule.
I don't cancel on friends.
Oh, I mean, if you had to.
No, don't ever.
No, stop.
If you had to change your schedule.
No, I don't think that's true.
I think it's, I don't know that you have to reschedule, especially if it's a one-time thing.
It's okay to be wrong.
So if you mess up, you just submit it and say you're sorry.
Yeah, I hate that rule too.
Oh.
Or is that the same rule?
That's an unwritten rule.
No, it's a new one.
Also, don't in an apology with an excuse or say things like, I'm sorry you got upset or
I'm sorry, but.
I hit Caitlin with that.
I'm sorry you feel this way.
And that's not the way to apologize.
That's not the way to do it.
I'm like, hey, listen, I'm sorry if you feel that's not the way to apologize either.
Yeah, you try to understand their feelings and not shame them for having them.
So if you borrow someone's car, fill it up with.
gas or at least put it back to where it was when you got it.
I would say put it a little over where it was.
If you get it as a quarter tank, you should, but if you do have the money to fill it all
the way up, maybe you can get the half tank.
This next one, you don't follow.
Don't ask for something if the person has one thing left.
An example would be if they have a pack of gum and there's one piece left, you don't take it.
Oh, I do, though.
I want your last piece and then I want all of it.
I've learned over the years if I have a pack of gum and Bobby has some of it.
I just give him the pack.
Well, I chew a whole pack at a time.
It's like lending money to family members.
You're not getting that back.
Here you go.
Okay, another one is don't heat fish up in the office kitchen because then it smells like fish
everywhere.
Don't start drama at a funeral or a wedding.
If someone hands you their phone to show you a picture, don't look at other photos.
Don't swipe.
That's a good one.
Remember when my son did that?
Do you remember?
And what happened?
And he saw, and he starts dying laughing.
Oh, yes.
Somebody else's phone.
Somebody else's phone.
Oh, I thought it was your phone.
No.
No, no, no, no.
It was a man.
Someone came into your house.
Uh-huh.
I don't want to get too many details because I don't know how many details I gave.
You didn't give any.
I don't want.
Yes, that's a detail.
I just know that it was awkward and embarrassing and my son learned a lesson.
And then don't leave your shopping car in the middle of an aisle.
So for a long time, goat yoga was a thing.
I even tried it and thought it was super cool.
But now chicken yoga is happening some places.
Chicken's poop too much.
I guess.
Randomly.
Yeah.
They say that they still release good hormones and help people with stress levels and reduce loneliness and stuff when they're on their yoga mat.
But yes, chickens, I just imagine them just go on the bathroom right there on your yoga mat.
I'd do fried chicken yoga.
Nice.
You just eat it.
Yeah.
That could work.
I'm Amy.
That's my pile.
That was Amy's pile of stories.
It's time for the good news.
With Bobby.
Tell me something good.
All right.
This story's awesome.
there's a place in Albuquerque called The Shop.
I've been there. It's my favorite breakfast I've ever had in my life.
A pandemic hit, they struggled to stay open.
So this woman who was a customer there said, hey, I want to help them and also want to help other people.
So what she did is she went by the shop and said, here's $1,000.
So use it for your restaurant, but use it.
When police officers come in, you buy their food until you run out of money.
So the shop, staying in business, making money, and police officers are being fed that come in and just want breakfast or lunch.
a great story. She does not want her name to be known. She is an anonymous nurse. So shout out
whomever you are, anonymous nurse. That's pretty cool. By the way, I'll say it again.
The shop is the greatest breakfast I've ever had. I was doing a show in Albuquerque and went by,
made a note, and I still preach about it to this day. You went without me. I remember.
I've got my favorite breakfast and my favorite dinner. I don't have my favorite lunch at all time.
And I've had some good lunches, but I don't have one that I'm just like, I'm going to write that
down on my phone. So, but I have my favorite weekend brunch that I had one time. Oh, so you have,
my next meal. Breakfast. My favorite meals. Dinner and brunch. Yeah. Well, weekend is brunch.
I'm a big brunch guy. It feels pretty fru-frew, but when it's what it says on the menu,
and you can either get lunch or you get it, right? I get it. Yeah, you get it. All right, that's what
it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good.
You guys, thanks for hanging out. So this is not a commercial, but we go to Sonic all the time.
Kind of our spot, Caitlin, a nice spot. And, Kate,
Caitlin has created a water that is called the Bobby Water.
I call it that.
It's Route 44 with ice and there's real fruit, strawberry, and cherry, and there's nerds in it.
And we just, we don't even say Bobby Water because we're embarrassed because they're not going to know what it is.
We'll order it on the app, then we'll get there.
Eddie went and just tried to order a Bobby Water without saying what it was.
And I'm so mad because I recorded it on my phone, but I guess my Bluetooth was on, so it didn't record.
It was crazy.
So I ordered the Bobby Water.
Just go up and say.
It's not on the menu.
It's not.
And I just hit the button.
I say, hey, can I get a Bobby Water, please?
And there was silence.
And I'm like, great.
Here comes the question.
I'm like, what are you talking about?
Bone, so I see on the screen, it says water, strawberries, nerds.
And I'm like, this is crazy.
That's crazy.
I don't believe it either.
And so she says anything else.
And I go, how did you know what that was?
She's like, we're used to it, sir.
We know what that is.
Other people ordering it.
Let's go over to Amy and get the morning corny.
The morning corny.
What happens when you put your hand in a blender?
What happens when you put your hand in a blender?
You get a handshake.
Oh, boy.
Like a milkshake.
I get it.
That was the morning corny.
I do want to talk about this because sometimes we walk into a room, at least I do.
And I go, how did I get in this room?
Like what in the world did I do to get me in this room?
You ever do that?
Oh, yes, all the time.
And then you go back and you walk back to your other room and then as you sit down and remember, you're like, oh, now I remember.
And then you go back.
Eddie ever do that?
All the time.
Like, it's the weirdest thing.
You talk a lot about driving too sometimes.
You're like, I don't even remember how I got here or how long it took me.
But yeah, I do it all the time.
You drive places and not remember.
Yeah, I don't remember the drive at all.
Well, you know why you're going there.
But you know why you're going there.
Yes, yes, different.
There are times where I'm subconsciously driving and I end up at a place and don't remember.
Right.
I never get somewhere in my car and go, where am I?
So apparently, our brain is working overdrive when that happens,
and we're so focusing on something else that when we get to our spot,
we've forgotten that really recent thought to go there.
It's not us getting older.
It's not us forgetting things.
So this is just a, oh, thank goodness.
Oh, yeah.
I mean, we're all doing it, so that gives me comfort.
It is that we have too much going on that we're kind of blocking down the small recent things.
and we're focused on the heavier things
that are weighing on us at the time.
So if that happens to you,
don't blame it on getting old,
don't blame it on getting senile.
It's okay.
It is absolutely okay.
It happens to people of all ages.
So there's that.
Also, Amy lost her wedding band.
Yeah.
Oh.
In news.
Yeah.
Well, so right now I'm wearing the one,
my mom's,
because I inherited that from her.
But because, yes, I have the band part,
not the engagement ring,
thank goodness,
but I have little tiny bands
that I stack with it.
and one of those, which does have little teeny tiny diamonds on it,
flew off my finger and I don't know where it is.
So I was washing my hands and the stack keeps them all together.
And when I was washing my hands, one flew off and we found it on the floor right away.
My daughter luckily spotted it.
But that means the one that was holding it in, it's gone somewhere.
And I don't know where or why.
We've looked everywhere.
And I was at the kitchen sink.
So who knows.
I check down the disposal.
You know how like the disposal is so disgusting.
But the minute, and I am terrified to go down there,
but the minute I thought my ring was down there,
I was like, I didn't think twice.
My hand went straight in there.
I was like swirling around.
Wouldn't it already be gone, though, if it's down there?
Well, I hadn't turned it on because it's the disposal.
So, I don't know, guys.
I retrace my steps.
I've called some places, so maybe it will show up.
I don't know.
Good luck.
What are the odds that she finds that ring?
Not very good.
I don't think they're very good either.
I think they're good.
I always tend to find it.
Let us know.
I always tend to find it.
That's an oxymoron.
I always tend to find it.
Hey, I always
typically get my stuff back.
Okay. Let me play this voicemail from
This is Miranda in Virginia Beach.
And this is a segment on yesterday's show
where Amy accidentally called 911, right?
And it's on our Instagram as well.
Well, it wasn't an accident, but...
You didn't mean for them to answer.
No, no, no, no.
I meant for us to disable
the emergency call before it did that.
Right. So here's Miranda
leaving us a voicemail last night.
Morning Studios. I was dying at Amy showing the 911 trick on her phone. I played it for my husband. And he thinks it could possibly be staged because, tell him why, babe.
Wait, what are you doing? He didn't want to be on the phone. He didn't want to be on the air.
Oh, he got to know about that.
We're going to assure you that wasn't staged.
Well, I want to know why. Because. He said, what are you doing? It hung up. So we don't know exactly.
Because who hangs up on 911? It's probably I was going to say. I do.
Accidentally.
Well, you hung up on purpose.
Well, I got nervous.
I got flustered.
And, yeah, watching that video back, I was cringing at myself.
Because I was like, just say something.
But I couldn't.
I just freaked out.
And when I freak out, I just throw my phone.
You freaked out for sure.
Don't hang up.
Coming up in a second, we're going to play the marching band game.
Remember this game where we played a full marching band playing a song?
Yeah.
You had to guess what the popular song was?
Oh, this is fun.
We're going to do it this time.
These are all songs for movies.
So you have to guess the movie.
This could be tough.
Do we have an example we can play?
We feel safe about that?
All right, I don't know it.
I'm going to play this one.
Go ahead.
I got it.
Yeah.
Here comes the man in black.
I may play this too.
I haven't seen the list.
Okay, you're in?
I'm in.
All right.
I haven't seen the list.
All right, got a couple games coming out.
We'll do that marching band game next.

Air Tasker, get anything done?
Okay, so a marching band will play a famous song.
Our goal is the name of the song.
A little wrinkle this time is that you have to name the movie.
For example, this was a marching band doing Men in Black.
Do you hear it?
Yep.
Here come the men in black.
The one that you remember.
The good guy dressed in black.
Remember that?
No, that's okay.
Okay, ready.
These are all from movies.
Name the movie.
I'm playing.
Amy, Lunchbox, Eddie.
Marching band number one.
Okay.
My answer is in.
Everybody's in?
In.
Lunchbox.
what you have? Frozen.
Eddie. Frozen. Amy.
That is Let it go from Frozen.
Wow. Let it go. Let it go.
Nice job.
Next up, name the movie. Here you go.
Okay.
Lunchbox.
Hold on Amy, I haven't read anything down.
Sorry.
Star Wars. Star Wars.
That's Star Wars, Bones.
Yeah, I have Star Wars too. Is it like the Imperial March?
Yes. Darth Vader. When Darth Vader comes out, this is what they play.
Is that what it's called?
Imperial March?
All right, next up.
Everybody good?
Good.
You got a friend of me, Toy Story?
Yeah, Toy Story.
Toy Story.
Toy Story.
You got a friend in me.
You got a friend in me.
Good.
How many are there?
A lot?
Seven more?
Okay.
What would do elimination style?
All right, go ahead.
It took me a minute to get that one.
That was a tough one for me.
Because I haven't seen this movie.
How specific do we need to be?
to be. I hope not very.
I know, me too. Lunchbox,
what do you have? Well, I know it's happy
and I don't know if it's seeing or trolls. I put trolls.
Well, if it's trolls, I'm wrong.
Because I have despicable me.
It's happy. Is that from despicable me?
That's what I have. Despicable me.
Oh, I have trolls.
What is it?
Despicable me?
Yeah.
Amy and Lunchbox said to see you go.
It's just a pleasure to play the game, man.
That's why we come. We just come to play the game.
All right, next up.
I'm in.
One, two, three, jungle book.
Okay.
That's bare necessity.
Bear necessities.
The simple bare necessities.
Forget about your...
Next up.
Come on.
Only like 65% though.
I'm in 100.
Okay.
One, two, three, trolls.
Okay.
That's a...
Justin Temperate.
Can't stop.
Okay.
How many more we got?
Four more.
Oh, wow.
Okay.
They get harder?
Okay.
You do?
Yeah.
Oh, come on.
He saw it click in his head.
Got it.
Dang.
Wow, that's close, dude.
Ready?
One, two, three.
The greatest showman.
Okay.
Three more.
Is this including tiebreaker?
With the tiebreaker is three.
Two plus one.
Okay, go.
Two, three.
Saturday Night fever.
Ah!
Wow!
Come on.
Staying alive with the Vigi's.
This is the last one before the tiebreaker.
Okay.
Here we go.
You know the song?
Yeah.
You know the song?
Yeah.
You know the song?
Yeah.
You know the song?
You'll be in my heart?
You'll be in my heart.
Okay, the movie.
One, two, three.
Tarzan.
Dang!
All right.
Is this it?
What's tiebreaker do, Mike?
Sudden death, we hit.
Speed?
Oh, boy.
Oh, boy.
All right, here we go.
Bobby.
Georgia the jungle.
George.
George.
George of the jungle.
Watch out for that tree.
George, George.
All right.
There's a movie, though.
There's a movie called George.
George.
George.
I don't know.
I know the song.
Watch out for that tree.
George.
George.
I don't think I would have gotten that
I gotta tell you, I didn't know there was a movie either
but it's Brendan Fraser movie from like the 90s
I remember the cartoon from like the 60s I think
No, I wasn't born then, but I would watch it
All right Eddie, good game, bud
Yeah man, you too, good win
Yeah, dang, that was close
We had more callers that are hitting this stuff about celebrities
That were nice
Kimberly in New Orleans is on
Hey Kimberly, how are you?
Hey, good, how are you?
Pretty good, what's going on?
I figured y'all wanted to hear a funny story of meeting Channing Tatum.
Would love it. Go ahead.
So basically he has a mutual friend of my sister, and my sister tends to have a lot of summer parties and pool parties.
And I get a phone call from my niece when I was at the grocery store saying that Magic Mike was at her house.
So I ran my car over there so fast.
I left my eggs.
I left my meat.
I left everything that I bought from the grocery that day in my car when it was a hot summer day to run inside and completely act like I didn't know who he was.
So he wasn't like freaking out, I guess.
I was freaking out, but I don't know.
So I ran into my niece's room, screamed for a minute, and then walked back out calmly and then just smiled and said hello.
And he said hello and he was really, really nice.
He had a shirt on?
He ended up taking a couple pictures after.
He had a shirt on.
Yes, he had a shirt on, unfortunately.
Oh, come on.
Dang, that's not magic, Mike.
He was nice, though.
That's cool.
He was awesome.
He was very, very nice.
He took a couple pictures with us after, and he was just, he was a really down-earth kind of guy, and I appreciated that.
Was he strikingly good-looking, even if he wasn't famous?
Would you have been like, wow, that's a good-looking guy?
Yes.
He was definitely still good-looking.
Kimberly, thank you for your.
I hope you have a great day.
I was hoping he would show me
thank you you too.
Oh, hope show me what?
We can't stop in there.
He's hoping he'd show you what.
I was hoping he would show me
a little magic mic move
but I mean he didn't so I was a little disappointed
with that but other than that
it was a great moment.
All right, have a good day Kimberly.
Thank you, you too.
All right, bye-bye.
Let's play the most recognizable guitar riff game.
All right guys, you ready to play?
Ready.
Guitarworld.com has an article
of the most recognizable
guitar riffs of all time. I went online to
found the isolated track. So when they go on to the studio,
they record the guitar by itself, right?
And that's what you're going to hear, the actual
by itself guitar track. So you're
only going to hear a guitar. See if you
can name it. Here's a pretty hard one for you guys, probably.
It doesn't count, but hit it.
Example.
That would be
Iron Man. Iron Man. All right, here we go. This is guitar riff number one.
Okay. Amy.
Sweet home Alabama. Lunchbox?
Sweet home Alabama. Eddie? Turn it up. Sweet home Alabama.
Pick up
Which, by the way,
Amy's worn
a kiss shirt today
I'd like for you to go ahead
name a couple of kiss songs
I knew you were going to do that
and I thought
shoot I need to Google
Kiss songs
You know their biggest song
I'm sure
Like a lady
That's Aerosmith
She was singing
Dude looks like a lady
I mean to look them up
Before you had chance to ask me
But I've been
You would know
I want to rock
Rock and roll all night.
And party every day.
Detroit Rock City.
Hard luck woman.
Hard luck woman.
Okay, now you're just saying words.
Okay, let's see.
On to the next song.
Can you name this guitar lick?
They're both trying to sing it.
Okay.
I mean, lunchbox looks like he's praying.
He's got his eyes closed, talking to somebody.
All right, five seconds, guys.
Okay.
You got it, Amy?
Yeah, man.
Okay, lunchbox, what do you have?
I have Blank 1-82, all the small things.
Amy, what do you have?
What's my age again?
Eddie?
What's my age again?
What up!
Because out of the time she walked away from me.
Nobody got you and you tweed.
Can you play just that guitar, like back again?
Here's the...
Come on.
So it's just the early part.
Yeah.
Right?
And then he gets it who it is.
Go.
It was a Friday night.
It was a long.
I get the feeling right.
Started making out
And then I turned on the TV
And that's about the touch
You walked away from me
All right lunchbox is eliminated
Thanks for having me
It was fun
It was fun
Good time
Name this guitar lick
She's so close
Alright Amy I gotta have an answer
Amy you got to
Amy you got this
I know
It can't get it to come to me
Which is weird
It normally does by this point
Nothing better
You're saying no words.
Yeah, I know, but I don't need the words.
I heard field in there somewhere.
Something about staying alive.
No.
We've heard that a few times, yeah.
But what are the words to that?
I'm not going to get it.
Now and then when I see her face,
it takes me away to that special place.
I probably break down and cry.
That's where I say it.
Oh, sweet child of mine.
Oh, sweet child of mine.
Eddie, you got that right?
I got sweet towel of mine.
But should we give that?
to a notion. No, I just have it. No, I didn't have it at all. Disappointed.
I sang the whole thing, though, like a champ.
You did sing the whole thing like a champ. Well, none of it, actually, but you...
Hey, that's a quick game. Yeah, I was. I'll give you one more, because I want to save some of these for a different game.
Come on. Let me do... Let me see. Try number eight.
Got it. You do? Yeah, yeah, got it.
Let it play for a minute. Some listeners can get it.
I'm gonna be my head down now
That's the middle
Yeah from Jimmy
Yeah
Yeah
Yeah,
Yeah,
Okay, well, Eddie, you are the winner
Do you like that game?
I love it
I know you did, did you like the game?
Yeah
Not really?
I mean, no, I liked it
I just am disappointed
in my performance
Maybe we do it a different way
Maybe we get a caller on
and have to go over and run on Amy
Yeah
I need to be
Yeah, I need to be quicker
I just got to get to it
I don't know.
Sweet child of mine, how hard was that in the scale?
Yeah.
Like, are there harder ones or are there easier ones?
You're asking the wrong guy.
Because you know them all.
Yeah.
It's just unfair.
That's like going, okay, in Arkansas history, right?
When did your daughter tell you she had an interest in doing school plays?
Oh, she has for a while, but there's an audition that came up.
So she's finally going for it.
Is it for a specific play?
Yes, high school musical.
Oh, for literal, they're doing high school musical.
Yes.
Her middle school is doing the high school musical.
play. So I told her to go through and listen to the songs from the play or the whatever, the show,
the movie, and pick out one to audition with. She listened to everything. I don't like any of it.
So she brought to me the song she thinks she should audition with. Well, they let her pick
whatever song to audition with. So it doesn't have to be one from the actual show. No, but I thought
that would be in her favor. Could she sing? I think it's fine. She could do the play. Like she
wants to act and sing and dance.
Okay, she has chosen what song
to perform?
Christina Aguilera, genie in a bottle.
Now, to be fair,
I was 19 or so when this song came out.
I never took it as a dirty song.
I was literal about a genie in a bottle.
And I think as a kid, we...
Oh, yeah, she's like, I'm a genie and a bottle, baby.
She's like, don't touch me the bad way.
I mean, she says all the lyric.
When you sing it back out loud, you're...
I'd be like, oh gosh.
But yes, I sang it as an 18-year-old and didn't think anything like that.
Did you tell her that the song?
No.
It's kind of.
Nope.
I just said, I don't know that that's the song we should go with.
But ultimately, it is up to her.
I don't know what we're going to do.
How do you guys feel about her singing Jeannie in a bottle at her?
Well, her school let her sing that song, I guess.
I guess we'll find out.
I don't even want to email the teacher and say, hey, is this okay?
I mean, and it's a, the auditions are sent.
in virtually so you can make your audition tape at home.
Yeah.
So, I mean, she wants to go big.
She already, you know, our friend Brittany Spencer, who, you know,
works helps her a lot, like, with her hair.
And, like, she's like a mentor to her of sorts.
And so she's like, Mama, I would like a guitar player.
Do you think Britney would be in my audition video?
I'm like, well, she's pretty busy, but let me see.
So, I don't know.
Do we have a problem with her singing Jeannie in a bottle in her video, Eddie?
I don't think the school would care.
It's an audition.
Would you let your 13 know?
No, no, no, so that's what I was going to say.
If I had a daughter 13 years old or my son wanted to do that?
Sorry, but pick another song.
See, I don't think it's a big deal.
I think if you make it a big deal, it becomes a big deal.
Because I just never thought of it as being a dirty song.
I agree.
You know?
Listen, it was either Christina Aguilera or some Ariana Grande song.
Oh, 34, 35.
Oh, yeah.
And so I, yeah.
This is not any better.
And that's like current present day weird songs that little girls sing.
Yeah.
Like, you know what I mean?
It's just interesting.
I have no problem with it.
Eddie said you wouldn't let yours.
I wouldn't.
If you guys want to call and hop in on this conversation, 877-77 Bobby, what are you leaning toward?
Her doing the song that she feels comfortable doing.
This is her choice.
And I also don't want to put into her head that a song means a certain thing.
Because honestly, she does hear it's a genie in a bottle.
You rub a bottle the right way.
And then the genie comes out and you get your wishes.
Right.
It's like Aladdin.
Right.
Right.
A big blue genie.
Yes.
I vote yes.
Eddie votes to know.
You guys call us 877.
77 Bobby.

Amy was talking about her daughter,
and her daughter is going to audition for high school musical at her school,
but she wants to sing Christina Aguilera
a genie in a bottle,
which as a kid when I was a teenager
in that song came out, I didn't think anything about it.
I just thought about a genie trying to get out of the bottle.
Right.
However, as an adult, I kind of now know what it's about.
But you said you're going to let her do it.
Yeah, this is her choice.
I feel as though the school might be like,
did your parents not give you a recommendation for a song?
But this is her, and she's innocent.
She sees it as a fun, cute song.
so why ruin that for her?
You got some calls, obviously.
Melly in Arkansas, you are on the Bobby Bone Show.
What do you think about this?
I'm kind of torn.
I feel like I wouldn't let my child do it,
but when I was a kid, I wanted to sing the song.
It went like, boom, boom, boom, I want you in my room
so we can spend the night together in my room.
And my mom let me do it.
She was like, go for it, if you want to sing that song.
And, of course, I had no idea what it meant,
But I feel like me, like now I'm torn.
Like I want to let my kid live their dream out of seeing whatever song.
But at the same time, I'm kind of like,
you should probably not do that song.
Do you think you're a worst person for boom, boom, boom, I want you in my room.
Right? You're not, right?
I'm glad I'd kick it out because I would not want to see that video when I'm older.
I think it would be hilarious.
Yeah.
I go to Legacy Box, you load it up, turn it on Instagram.
Hey, thank you, Melly.
We appreciate that call.
Hope you have a good day.
Thank you, you too.
Bye-bye.
James and Kansas, you're on the show.
James, what's happening?
My daughter did pageants, and so some of the songs that I've heard for their kids and up,
yeah, I would definitely just, it's your choice, but I was at her to do this.
But you like, just pick, he pick it.
I know.
I'm just not a stage mom.
Like, I don't know that I.
James, are you a stage dad?
Yes, I am.
Okay.
I've been doing this for my dad.
I've started been doing Patrick since he was three.
Well, I appreciate that call.
Thank you for adding.
Your input there.
All right.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Hey, let's do one more.
This is Randy in Louisiana.
Hi, Randy.
How are you?
My opinion, my personal opinion.
I think as adults, we sexualize everything nowadays.
As a young mom, I'd be for it.
I grew up with the song.
I have one little one and one on the way.
I think we just as adults sexualize everything now.
It is a sexual song.
I mean, even the writer did.
I mean, it's...
But I don't think we're sexualizing in a way it wasn't meant to be sexualized,
but it is a sexual song.
Right, and to clarify, too, she's not going to be dressed, you know, sexy while doing it.
Like, that would be...
I draw the line there.
I do agree with about 60% of the sentiment, which says, go for it.
Again, it's pretty split.
I'm looking at it, but it's you being in the mall.
Right, because again, for her, she doesn't understand.
It's the teachers that may be watching the audition tape.
They're going to be like,
does she really choose Jeannie in a bottle?
Well, thank you, Randy, for your call.
You guys can go over to Facebook and put your opinion up there.
This story comes with us from Alpina Township, Michigan.
A 30-year-old man was going around breaking into houses.
hand to one house. He's like, oh, the door's locked. I know how to do this. Pulls out his wallet,
gets the debit card, picks the lock. Yeah, goes in, steal some stuff and goes home. Only
problem is he left his debit card on the counter. That stinks. I'm Lunchbox. That's your
bonehead story of the day. Amy, what does it mean when you say that you're working on becoming a
family-focused family? I don't know the lingo. Well, I heard that there's kid-focused, parent-focused,
and then family focus.
There's kind of the three options.
And we were kind of a little bit of kid focus when we needed to be or a parent focus,
but we weren't operating together as a family, like sitting down, having meetings,
talking about all the different activities from, okay, this is you, Stashear wants to play soccer.
Okay, how are we going to make that happen?
Does that fit into everybody's schedule?
How can we support this?
And even our son, how can he help support Stasheera and her soccer and scheduling?
And it really is making decisions like that as a,
family. And my husband and I communicating more on where we are with our week and maybe even
where we are with our day. Like if I'm, I've had tons of stuff having me. I'm super stressed and I'm
operating at 20 percent. Then he can say, okay, I got you. I have the other 80 percent. Or if he's
operating at 20 percent too, then we meet as a family. We decide we're going to do takeout. We're not
going to cook. We're not going to. I just heard Brunay Brown talking about this for her family.
And it really tried it yet. Sounds like a lot of work.
It is, but I think you're, it is in the beginning,
but then I think you're all better for it in the long run
because you all know what to expect.
And that's another thing we're working on big time in our family
is consistency and predictability.
And right now we're just kind of, like, okay, we survive today.
What's tomorrow?
But if we sit down and we have these family-focused meetings
and everybody knows what to expect,
then I think that we will be functioning better as a family.
And so that's very new to us.
We have just been in survival mode.
and I'm over it.
I hope it works.
It'll be awesome.
We'll see what happens.
Check in.
All right.
Thank you guys.
We'll see you tomorrow.
Bye everybody.
Come on.

Yeah.
