Welcome to Wednesdays show.
Morning.
Let's go around the room and check in with everybody.
He was born and.
raised in the state of Texas and as positive energy can be infectious. It's producer ready.
So this weekend, this past weekend, I took my kids to a basketball tryout. I never done this.
It was on the other side of town. I didn't know the league, but it was like, they're going to make
two teams out of this tryout. So your boys have to be good or whatever. So I was like, let's give it a
shot. I took them over there, sign them up. There must be, there must have been like 200 people there,
200 kids. For how many spots? For two teams. How many people on team?
Nine. Got it. So like 10, 9 or 10. Say 20 people.
Yeah.
One in ten make it basically.
Yeah.
So then we sign up at the table and they're like, all right, go ahead and head into the gym.
And I start walking in with my boys.
And it's my 10-year-old and my 8-year-old.
We're walking in.
They said, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, let the kids in.
No parents allowed.
I was like, oh, no parents at all in the gym?
That's the greatest idea because you don't have parents screaming, mal than yelling.
Yeah, but give me a heads up.
I'm like, I had no idea.
And the kids are like, Dad, where are you going?
I'm like, I don't know.
Where do I go there?
They're like, I don't know, wait in the car or something, but no parents allowed.
And I was like, how long is this tryouts?
They said, about an hour, hour, 20 minutes.
Hour and 20 minutes in a gym?
And I can't see my kids.
What did you do? What did you do?
I sat in the car, dude.
Are you nervous for them?
Yeah.
When they came out, what'd they say?
One of them came out.
I was like, Dad, I never got the ball.
Like, they never gave me the ball.
So I don't know.
We find out, like, in a couple of days, if they made it or not.
What if one makes it and one doesn't?
Yeah, that's tough.
That's going to be really tough.
I don't know.
We'll have to talk about it.
So this is like a traveling team, like a serious basketball.
Well, they have, one of the teams does travel nationally, and I'm like, we're not doing that.
Like, they play in Chicago, Boston.
Like, we're not going to do that on the weekends.
But one of them stays here locally.
That would be expensive.
It would be great, but that's expensive.
Travel ball is really expensive.
Yeah, dude, but when they took my kids into the gym, I freaked out a little bit.
Yeah, I've not heard of that, but I think that's a great idea.
It's awesome.
Why?
Parents are terrible.
Yeah, parents be yelling.
Oh, you're not getting my kid the ball or they're yelling at their kid.
They did say that a lot of the kids don't perform.
perform well when the parents are in there.
So that was one of the reasons they do that.
Well, let us know.
Yeah, man, we're excited.
This next person's never afraid of awkward situations in public if it benefits our show.
And if you're looking for a bonehead story of the day, he is where you want to go.
It is Lunchbox.
One of the worst things that happens is when people rub salt in your wounds.
And I had an open wound and they rub salt right in it the other day because I applied for four passes.
To what?
For different parties in Las Vegas for the Super Bowl.
Shack's Funhouse.
Go.
You don't go any of that.
Shack's Funn House.
I got accepted.
Then Gromk got accepted.
Guy Fieri
Tailgate.
They said,
sorry, we're all full.
We can't accommodate you.
Well, then they send me an email on Monday,
and they said,
hey, here's all the pictures
from the party.
You can post them on your socials.
Let me know if there's anything else you need.
Yeah, how about a press pass to your party?
But you didn't go anyway.
But why would I post anything if you rejected me?
But why would you not go?
You probably could have got in.
I don't know.
But they sent me, here's some videos of the red carpet, some pictures, some behind the scenes.
Just let us know if you need anything else.
But I understand what you're mad at because you're going to go anyway.
I'm mad because they didn't even let me in the party, but they want me to post about the party.
No thanks.
You'll show them, buddy.
It was just like, man.
Get angry at the weirdest things.
All right, thank you.
The next person here was recently embarrassed at church when she ran over.
a cone, but these type of moments for her are far from unknown. It's Amy. So I was on TikTok and came
across this bed making competition. I didn't even know they had this, but apparently in Japan,
they are very popular. They do do them in the U.S. Like I saw there was one in Tulsa, Oklahoma,
and one in San Antonio. And I thought, this is awesome. I make my bed every day. And it was impressive
how they were doing. I was like, oh, I was getting some tips. Like, hmm. And I try to like make it well.
I don't just want to wake up and make my bed.
I want to make it well.
And I haven't always been this way.
I've been a bedmaker probably as long as I've been a not snoozing.
So a few years.
But much of my life, I did not make my bed.
And it's a game changer.
And so I didn't know if y'all made your beds.
I don't join me.
Because I get up in the morning when my wife is still in bed.
So I have the habit of never making my bed.
She makes it.
But I leave hours before she wakes up.
But like before you got married, were you a bedmaker?
I was a bed straightener because I don't want to get into a sloppy bed.
but I definitely didn't fold the corners under and stuff.
Yeah.
All right, Ray, go ahead.
From Mountain Pine, Arkansas, he's wearing the hogs new alternate hat.
I got to admit, I like that.
Bobby Bones.
Thank you very much.
So I haven't been on that jersey site.
I stopped buying jerseys.
I have way too many jerseys.
Sign jerseys.
You get on and you got like a one in eight chance
or you have a one on 32 chance if you buy a certain team.
And so I couldn't sleep last night.
And so I got on.
Oh, no.
One time.
I'd only get one.
And so it was a, they call it a three break.
So I spent like 60 bucks and I would have bought the 49 or excuse me the chiefs, but they were already taken.
So I bought the 49ers.
I like 49ers and they just lost the Super Bowl, but they're good.
And so they opened three boxes.
A Greenlaw Ward dual auto mini helmet this time.
Nice hit.
Four diners.
Win.
For the Niners.
And good luck guys.
That's one.
All right.
Second box of the break.
Niners, Debo.
Signed mini helmet.
Debo.
Signed Niners Mini.
Dio Samuel, autographs signed Mini Helmet.
Once again, for the Niders.
And we have a George Kittle.
Oh, my goodness.
Signed Niners Many.
You hit all three?
I've never seen that happen before where they kept pulling the same team.
So they could have picked any team of the 32 teams, and you got three 49ers.
All three in the same one.
So they're sending me three signed mini helmet.
Hey, hey, and you're not lucky.
That was pretty lucky.
No, he's not lucky, guys.
So now you're admitting it.
That one was pretty lucky.
Yeah.
But overall, do you think you have good luck?
No.
I think I make my own luck.
Thank you.
Hey, I'm not giving you a helmet then if you got that attitude.
Dang, I really wanted the kiddle one.
Hey, and Greenlaw, that's crazy.
It's Arkansas boy.
Thank you.
Just wanted to share that.
I knew I'd get a little, oh, you're lucky.
But I've only done it one time.
It's like a week and a half.
And I have a brief.
It's like three many helmets.
It's crazy.
Let's open up the mailbag.
You send an email and we read it all the air.
It's something we call Bobby's Mailbag.
Hello, Bobby Bones.
My new girlfriend's upset because I won't let her spend the night.
It's not that I don't enjoy her company.
I really do.
It's just that she has a job that requires her awake up at 3 in the morning
and I don't want to wake up at early for any reason.
I go to work at 10.
My sleep's important to me.
So I told her that she can stay over on Friday or Saturday nights.
But other than that, it'll have to be afternoon dates.
I think I'm being pretty pragmatic.
She thinks I'm being a jerk.
I'm out of line here.
Signed.
Guy who values sleep.
You're being very pragmatic, but that doesn't always work in relationships.
Because relationships, just for the sake, sometimes aren't pragmatic.
Because it could be keeping you back from your work, her work, but it gives you something else.
I would say, bro, you got to ease up a little bit on this.
I don't think it's every day that she can stay, but I think there's a compromise here.
Friday, Saturday.
No.
You can do a couple more than that too.
How annoying would that be if Monday through Friday or Sunday through Thursday,
you can't go stay at your boyfriend's house because you wake up too early in the morning.
Yeah.
So two things can happen.
One, give her Sunday and Monday.
And the other three, it's okay if you wake up for just a minute when she goes to work.
Or two, she sleeps in another room.
Because you guys can be there the whole night, do whatever.
And then she can just go sleep in the room.
Do whatever.
next door. That's what Ray Moon doing his wife do sometimes.
Yeah, or just have him leave. I mean, when you get up, they get up.
Well, he doesn't want to do that then. Yeah, he's still at his place.
Right. It just works that way. If you're both up, why not? Just continue on with your lives.
You don't have to go back to bed. At three in the morning, he doesn't want to wake up to three in the morning.
He doesn't have to work till 10. That's what if you like them.
See, that's the thing. It either hasn't gotten to that point where he's willing to make that sort of sacrifice.
Doesn't sound like he's into her enough. Yeah. Or. Because she's thinking, right, like, okay, say we
get married and we both have these jobs like what's he going to do right but i feel like if you were
sitting and be like yeah and i'll do that for when i'm ready to get married to whomever i'm ready to
get married to and it might be her but at this point he's not sure if i were her and she was
already staying over a couple nights a week i would be irritated that he wouldn't let me stay
sunday through thursday because he has to wake up i'll be quiet when i leave i'll only stay a couple
days a week i that'd be a red flag even if i knew it was
about work because you might also be like
hmm why does he want me not staying over
I wonder what he's up to what's he doing
there is a compromise here if she wants to stay
you gotta make some sort of compromise
even if it's two days a week
let her pick the days
and then just wake up for 10 minutes when she gets up
and then fall back asleep that's okay
I know you value sleep we all do
right but we make sacrifices
like my wife can you imagine she kick me out
because she knew how to get up 3 o'clock every morning
yeah yeah dude I would say but
she's gonna
to dump you if you don't chill a little bit. Let off like 30%. That's my advice to you.
He can get earplugs and an eye mask. Relationships aren't about being pragmatic most of the time.
All right, thank you. Close it up. We've got your email and blow to Bobby's mail bag.
If you drop your phone in water, what are you supposed to do?
Get it out. Yep, that's number one. Step one. Get it out. Go ahead. Go ahead.
And then put it in rice. That is common. And you know what? It's happened before where I've done that. And it has
worked. Now the phone is supposed to be waterproof. But I've dropped mine, not this version,
a couple, and it really didn't work the same. It didn't go dead, but it never quite worked
the same. But Apple's now saying if your phone does get wet, your iPhone may flash up with a
liquid detection alert, which means the device is detected liquid in the lightning or USBC connector.
To protect your phone from damage, you won't be able to use the accessory or charge until the
whole thing is dry here. So everybody takes
it and puts it into rice.
Apple says don't do that.
Don't put your iPhone in a bag of rice.
This is from Apple's website.
Doing so could allow small particles of rice
to get into your phone and damage your phone.
Oh boy.
It also tells customers not to attempt drying their iPhone
using an external heat source or compressed air
because the first thing I would do.
Oh, well, that doesn't work.
Hair dryer.
And also don't put a foreign object like a
piece of cotton or paper towel in it.
Oh.
Trying to like dry it.
Let me guess.
They're going to have you buy a tool from them.
This is what Apple suggests.
This is from Ladd Bible.
Apple recommends that you tap your iPhone gently against your hand
with the connector, the bottom hole facing down to remove excess liquid.
So you just tapy, tapy, tapy, tap.
You should then leave your iPhone in a dry area with some airflow.
So like next to a vent, half hour.
And then it should and could be working fully.
But out of for sure had mine.
And rice with a heater.
Oh, the blow dryer, for sure.
The gorilla glass or whatever this is in the front of these, it's amazing.
I've dropped my phone in the past week so many times hard and nothing is cracked.
My last screen, I cracked.
But it's never the hard drop that cracks it.
It's always like, I mean, during the Super Bowl, there was a guy I played defense for the 49ers,
and he was just running onto the field.
Nothing, like before the play started.
And he, like, tore his ACL or his, is, uh, is, uh, is Achilles.
Lewis, Achilles.
He wasn't doing anything.
He was just kind of warming up running out there.
that's like how the iPhone cracks on me it's never when I'm in a play because that guy's
Greenlaw's like pounding folks doesn't get hurt but when he's jogging out there's crazy
it's like if I drop my phone two inch it but it's how good that glass is it is really good
so just want to let everybody know that's what you should do if your phone gets wet that's
thank you you're welcome that's helpful now let's try it spin the wheel
know the phone in the water whomever's phone it lands on put on the toilet
Deal?
Deal.
It's time for the good news.
Oh, it's Bobby.
Tell me something good.
Family in Derby, Kansas, faced a heartbreaking situation when their son's therapy pet was
attacked by another animal.
It wasn't just a therapy pet, though, as a therapy pig.
Oh, I love that.
Wilbur.
Recognizing the importance of the pig to the family, the cop there, Lieutenant Jessica Whitehead,
went above and beyond.
So the unfortunate thing is the animal.
the pig is no longer around.
Oh.
But they enjoyed a vacant breakfast the next day.
Stop.
No, I'm just kidding.
Stop.
The police officer that showed up personally took responsibility to find the little boy a new pig.
So she found a pig that did exactly, met the needs of the kid and drove all the way to Missouri, like hours across the state line, and then got a new pig.
And they're like, she didn't have to do that.
It's a totally unfortunate situation.
But the police officer just like, I got you.
you. Above and beyond. Yeah. Also, you get to go play with the pig on the way home.
Yeah. The officer. That's pretty awesome. I hate that part about the...
I know. The first pig? I know. I know. It happens, though.
Let's say the pig was sent to a farm with his friends. Yeah, of course.
And the second pig, young and spry and was ready to be there, you know? Yeah.
A great story. Derby, Kansas, police officer, Jessica Whitehead. Big shout out to you. That's what it's all about.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
If you want, and you're not going to spoil anything, let's go around the room tonight, Valentine's Night.
Who has a plan?
Eddie?
Oh, I have a plan.
Yeah, we're going to go see the Bob Marley movie.
One love.
Because it's about love.
Bob Marley.
And my wife loves Bob Marley, dude.
It's going to be awesome.
I don't know if we're going to do dinner in a movie.
I'm not sure how that's going to go.
Then you're not if you aren't.
Unless you're buying one of these from lunchbox, they didn't have any here.
It just depends when the babysitter gets there.
But you're not, because nothing will be available.
Right, and that's not in the plan.
So, yeah.
Lunchbox?
Yeah, I will be playing soccer at 8.30.
Tonight.
With your wife?
No, no, no.
Did you have plans?
She had dinner reservations for a, she did the planning this year.
For once, she planned something.
But you act like you did the planning last year, but you didn't do that either.
No, no, no.
Right.
But like, she actually, like.
Sure.
But 715 reservation
But I have a soccer game at 830
I thought the league might cancel the games
Because it's Valentine's Day
But obviously they don't care about love
And they want to cause conflict and households
Why don't you just not go to the game
If your wife has planned a dinner?
We had a whole segment on this show
Yeah, he made a commitment
We made a commitment
I made a commitment to the team
To the team
So when I can be there
I have to be there
That's right
But you made a commitment to your wife
before that, you're right.
It's probably bigger and better.
Is this you telling your wife?
This is me like breaking the news to my wife.
Night, babe, love you.
And I named you to cancel the reservations
that you made for Valentine's Day.
Why?
Well, because you made reservations for 715
and I just looked in the soccer schedule
has us playing at 830, so I don't think...
Oh, my God.
If the soccer team, then if I don't show up,
it's letting them down.
So you're going to let me down instead.
I'm not letting you down.
I'm still going to come home and we can have like Valentine's Day after my game.
That is so dumb.
That's not the same.
So if you could.
No.
Oh my God.
Well, like now it's already ruined.
So fine.
That sucks.
I can't stand that bed talk.
That sucks.
The bed talk.
It's like he's rolling around.
His voice.
That'd hurt her feelings it felt like.
maybe a little bit
Doesn't your team have enough guys
They just don't have enough girls
Ah you know it just depends
If everybody shows up
That's the problem
You know what I like about that clip
Is he waited till right before they went to bed to tell her
Well yeah that way it's not awkward
And you can just close your eyes and go to sleep
I can feel her disappointment there
Oh yeah
And there's no chance you'll cancel
Rex soccer
No I made a commitment to the team
But didn't you make a commitment to your wife
When she made the reservation
And when you were at the altar
Well, I mean, she kind of made the reservation without me.
Like, she was like, and she's the one that told me, oh, by the way, I made a reservation.
You can't go earlier, like six?
I don't know, not at that restaurant.
I mean, she had a reservation at 715.
I don't think you can call and be like, hey, we want to move it to six.
Ray, you in Bay doing anything?
We now live in a different part of town, so don't really know the restaurants that well, so we didn't make reservations.
That's not an excuse.
Go ahead.
But I always try to do something really extravagant.
You didn't move cities.
Kind of did.
Kind of.
I do.
No.
It's a suburb.
Exactly.
Yes.
Go ahead.
I do an extravagant flower bouquet and the place I will go to on less than closed down.
So now I've, the last two years I've been trying to find.
I usually go to a grocery store and just try to make my own.
But you say usually, did you do that last year?
Yeah.
No, for five straight years, I went to the, I got her a $200 arrangement every year.
Oh, my God.
No, no, but I'm asking about last year once the place shit.
No, I go to Kroger.
But did you?
Did you put it together on my own?
Did you put it together last year?
Yeah.
And it wasn't as good?
it was like $20.
But, so I mean, we do try to do it big.
I think Ray gives us word salad just to get us off his scent.
No, I'm saying I try to put a lot of effort into it.
It's just like everything's working against me, you know?
But yeah, so we'll still celebrate Valentine's Day, but it's not the...
What would you celebrate then?
How would you do that?
At the house, candles.
I mean, just something probably take out instead of going to a restaurant.
It'll still be romantic.
Yeah, I would like that.
Do you know where the candles are?
They still in boxes.
No, it would be fine if it weren't a last minute throw together.
candles. If he was like, I've planned this, but he's moved to a new town.
Yeah.
Which he's not living in a new town.
But his place closed down a few years ago.
Everybody's got an excuse.
Yeah, my wife and I, we have dinner at like 7.30.
I booked it a long time ago, so we have a good time.
And I didn't even care.
Listen, Arkansas plays at 8.
Didn't even try to move it.
You're going to check the phone at dinner, though.
No?
No, I won't check the phone at dinner.
If I had to go to the bathroom, I might look at it.
it while I'm in the bathroom.
Ah, that's what I'm saying.
No, all I'm doing, I'm there to focus, have a nice dinner with my wife.
I got her a gift.
I'm not going to say what that is yet because it's a day.
I don't want her to hear about it.
So we'll do that.
And then it'll be great.
Like with your arms, show me size a gift.
No.
With your arms?
His arms aren't that long.
That's what I got from that.
Size of gift.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Is it like, what's the difference?
What does it matter?
I'm just trying to get a gait.
Like a car?
No, she doesn't need a car.
Wow.
Wow.
Maybe she needs another car.
Amy, what about you?
Oh, Bobby.
No, she may have a date.
I don't have a date.
Oh, my God.
If you had a date on Valadized Day, that's real serious.
I have a spray tan.
Why?
Appointment.
Because I'm in a wedding this weekend.
Oh, that's a good place.
And meet some dudes.
Yeah, I'm in a wedding on Friday.
Oh.
Groomsmen are going to be out.
They're going to be howling that to this weekend.
So rehearsal dinner, so I'm a dinner.
Thursday night and on Friday's the wedding and they met on Hinge.
So that should give people hope.
But you have nothing going on?
Literally 5 p.m. spray tan so I won't really, I can't leave or do anything.
Should drop some food by raise. He's looking for anything.
I mean.
You got any candles you can borrow.
Valentine's spending. Sometimes they do these massive numbers. It doesn't make sense
because I don't know the difference, but like 2.2 billion spent on candy.
What does that even mean?
How many people are doing it?
It's a lot of money.
It is a lot of money, but it's not one person.
It's the whole world.
Yeah.
What's the difference?
60% of flowers purchased by women on Valentine's Day are going to themselves.
Yeah, I thought that to be interesting.
That's interesting.
And guys, I'm going to tell you, I'm telling you, don't buy flowers today.
Buy tomorrow.
But it'll be too late tomorrow.
No, we'll not.
You can do both.
Well, they're discounted.
Yeah, I get it.
A lot cheaper.
Estimated amount of money that women spend on Valentine's Day for the man.
Oh, $25.
Yeah, $10.
$75.
$57.
Estimated that men spend on women.
$152.
Race at $200, so $200.
$249.
Wow.
Wow.
Hey, women, step it up.
To what?
It's definitely not a dude holiday.
Why?
Are you in a relationship?
And love goes both ways, man.
It does.
It's not a one-way street.
Have any of the girls on the show ever sent themselves flowers on Valentine's Day?
I've never sent myself, but I have bought my own flowers.
Oh, like to have?
Oh, yeah.
I've purchased.
Yeah, I've gone and purchased.
Like roses or like tulips on the table?
No, they're typically some flowers.
Those are my favorite flowers.
And you just put them there so people will go, oh, you got flowers.
No, I typically call myself out.
I say that I bought them for myself.
Do you expect anybody to send you flowers?
No, but sometimes my parents do.
Oh, I like that.
That's sweet.
But not like a, you don't feel like a dude, a mystery dude, or some dude's going to send you flowers to really impress?
No, I mean, I really don't have a roster.
But that's why
Okay, okay. That's why girls, though, will post online.
Like Morgan said, she'll post them sometimes.
I bought these for myself.
That way, a bunch of guys are going, oh, I'll buy you flowers.
She can get all the, happy compilms.
Is that what happens?
Yeah, she gets all the compliments about all these guys.
Oh, I would do it.
You're so beautiful.
You're so amazing.
It's like, okay, it's a thirst trap.
No, it's like the Miley Cyrus.
That's not a thirst trap.
That's not the same thing.
It's like the.
Mylie Cyrus on. I can buy myself flowers. Good luck, everybody. Don't forget you got to come to
work tomorrow. You stay out too late partying or lunchbox playing rec soccer. I implore you to
evaluate the situation and probably go out with your wife. Thank you for your advice. You're
welcome. I feel like it was a little bit unbelievable until I really start making money.
It's Financial Literacy Month and the podcast Eating While Broke is bringing real conversations about
money, growth, and building your future.
This month, hear from top streamer, Zoe Spencer,
and venture capitalist Lakeisha Landrum-Pierre,
as they share their journeys from starting out to leveling up.
If I'm outside with my parents and they're seeing all these people come up to me for pictures,
it's like, what?
Today now, obviously, it's like 100%.
They believe everything, but at first it was just like,
you got to go get a real job.
There's an economic component to community striving.
If there's not enough money and entrepreneurship
happening in communities, they fail.
And what I mean by fail is they don't have money to pay for food.
They cannot feed their kids.
They do not have homes.
Communities don't work unless there's money flowing through them.

What would that look like in our families if everyone was able to pass on wealth to the people when they're no longer here?
We break down budgeting, financial discipline, and how to build real wealth, starting with the mindset shifts.
Too many of us were never, ever taught.
Financial education is not always about, like, I'm going to get rich.
That's great.
It's about creating an atmosphere for you to be able to take care of yourself and leave a strong financial legacy for your family.

Morgan, do you feel like you're a self-sabotager
when it comes to dating? I never felt
that way originally, but yes, lately
because I'm just, I assume
that the other shoe is always going to drop.
You feel like it's
eventually going to go bad anyway, so why not ruin it yourself?
Yeah, at this point, because I'm like,
I don't need to get hurt, so at least I'll just
Cut ties now and get out.
So where are you now with this guy?
So we've been on five dates.
Is this Twister guy?
This is Twister guy.
Got it.
Yeah.
AKA Cowboy.
Cowboy.
Yes.
We've been on five dates and we've FaceTimed a lot.
But I just don't feel like he's taking the initiative.
Like he's not being like, hey, I like you or hey, like I want to see you again.
But like he's still texting me and FaceTiming me all the time.
Do you feel like he's not taking the initiative because he's maybe playing this with other people too?
I don't know.
And I just don't know if I'm being so sensitive and I'm, I rush things.
I don't feel like I'm rushing.
I mean, it's been five dates.
What do you expect to happen after five dates as far as were you to, not maybe define the relationship,
but at least define something?
Yeah, or just be like, take the initiative to be like, hey, I'm interested in you and I would
like to see you again and make a plan to see each other again.
That hasn't happened.
He doesn't make a plan to see you again?
No, but like he planned the five dates?
No, no, no.
He planned the first two.
and then I kind of helped with the last three.
He started it and then I kind of helped.
I don't like how this feels, especially early on.
See, that's how I feel,
but I can't tell if I'm just being too harsh or too critical.
And I just don't, he keeps texting me and he keeps FaceTiming me,
which is showing me that he's interested,
but is he not interested enough to put an extra effort?
Or is he just, let me say this,
he may be super interested in you,
but, or is he just keeping you around
because he's keeping a few people around?
That would be what I would be worrying about.
Yeah, like he's trying to build a roster.
Yeah, or you're a backup,
or he's got three deciding within.
You could be first.
I don't know, it does feel weird.
When I started dating my wife,
I was just asking her all the time.
You want to do this, one, do that,
want to do this?
Like, I was taking big initiative
because I didn't want to let that slip away
because I was like, dang, she's so cool.
If I don't do it, somebody else is going to.
Like, I worried that would happen.
So, again, everybody's different.
I feel like if you really wanted,
to be in it, he would make more of an effort to get you in it with him.
See, that's how I'm feeling.
But not every dude's like that.
Why don't you, since you're doing these uncomfortable things, right?
Like you're, you're, why don't you just ask him, hey, what's up?
Like, what would you ask him?
If it wasn't weird, if it wasn't weird, you could ask him anything in the whole world,
would you ask him?
Okay, so I did kind of do this.
So after the twister date, he hadn't like really followed up.
He'd been like, that was really fun.
And that was it.
He wasn't like, hey, I want to see you again.
I bet you he's got other girls.
And so I literally just kind of like, I started matching his effort and I just kind of pulled back.
And he was like, well, why didn't you ask me to hang out?
And I'm like, I feel like you don't like me.
So why would I ask you to hang out?
Could he be intimidated by you?
There's always a possibility.
I get told that a lot.
But I also just don't feel like I want somebody who's going to be intimidated by me.
I agree with that too.
And it sounds like you want someone that's going to take initiative and plan things.
And if he's already showing you, he can't do that for.
dates three, four, and five.
Or he doesn't want to do that.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And I even told him, like, I was like, hey, I...
Does he have a decent job?
No, he has a decent job.
And I've even told them, like, I want someone who takes initiative and plan things.
I gave him the guidebook to be like, this is what I need.
And still, we're not having the follow up.
Let's go through the dudes here.
Guys, let's go to Ray first.
Ray Mundo, you and Babe been married for a bit now.
What are your thoughts?
Yeah, I would imagine you guys would be hanging out a lot more than you have.
It just seems like it's forced.
A relationship's never forced this thing's done so.
Okay, Eddie.
Yeah, I'm with Ray on this.
It's just the whole, like, this is what I want.
This is what I need after like five dates to me is too much.
Like, I don't understand why people just can't have fun and let it build.
Oh, so it's her fault.
Well, I think it's both of their faults.
Like, with too much of just like, you, even if he's intimidated by it, like,
oh, what?
Intimidated by what?
Like, maybe there's too many demands.
I don't know.
The rude?
Okay.
But you know what I mean?
It's just like the intimidation factors.
Like, it should be a fun relationship.
I agree.
But at what point then do you go?
Hey, I do really like you.
And maybe I'll just chill on to another people for a minute to see if we end up being a thing.
Yeah, I think there's just so many games involved here.
Like, what if he's playing too cool?
Sometimes girls are like, yeah, he's coming on too quick, coming on too quick.
Maybe he's been told that a lot.
Yeah, you don't want him to be Abby level.
Wow.
Like that's a little like.
You find ways that hit Abby when she's not.
No, no.
I'm just saying, like when I listen to Morgan, I don't get more Abby vibes from Morgan where she's all in after one hour of talking.
but I think this dude is sort of like, man, I'll get my cake when I want cake.
But on Wednesdays, I'm going to go get cookies over here.
I agree.
And on Thursdays I'm going to get ice cream over here.
Ah, you know what I mean?
On Saturday, if I got no ice cream or cookies, I guess I'll go get some cake.
Do you feel like he dedicates the weekends, like the prime time spots to you?
Yeah, I mean, the last time we hung out was a Saturday night.
This is also what gets me, though.
It's like he can text me a lot and FaceTime me in evenings.
I don't think he's going on other dates.
Is he ever unlike, it looks like a restroom,
like a restaurant bathroom?
No.
But I'm like, if you can FaceTime me for an hour,
why don't you just ask me to hang out?
So even if he doesn't have a roster,
which I don't think he does.
His personality doesn't seem like one
that you and him would thrive together
because it feels like he may be a bit shy,
a bit complacent.
I feel like I want someone who wants to
take initiative wants to show up in the same effort that I'm putting in.
I don't, I don't think you think, well, I don't know if you just said think or feel.
You know, that's what you want.
Yeah.
I've heard you say it multiple times.
So you know.
Why don't you just say that to him?
Do you like him?
I do, but this has been off putting.
Like I definitely have a little bit of an ick now.
Then you got to just give it one final honest go and go like, hey, look, I really like you.
Like, what are we doing here?
You don't have to say a relationship, but like, I need you to take.
a little bit of,
just some authority here.
And like,
I need you to plan stuff.
I need you to be that dude
because for me,
that's what I'm looking for.
And if he doesn't,
then,
who cares?
Is it too much after
I've already kind of said it once
and it's only been five dates?
Like, is it just too much
and it's just not working?
Well,
I wouldn't do it right now.
Maybe go on like two more dates.
And then you,
at seven dates,
you can pretty much say,
but two more dates.
I don't know if we're going to go on two more days.
I mean,
six months.
Instead of say,
hey,
you know how you face-time me
for an hour last night?
Why didn't you just come over?
Yeah, like, why don't you just ask me?
And he'll be like, well, you didn't invite me over.
Oh, man.
You can do that.
You can feel that.
You could feel that out.
He may just be so passive, though.
I mean, what if he's just an extremely passive guy?
Yeah, I don't know.
Like, a little bit.
He's very laid back.
And I just, maybe I just can't date somebody that's super passive.
Like, Eddie's super laid back and passive.
We date wonderfully.
I'm too, man.
I'm type A, and he's very passive.
But, see, I don't want to be that.
Like, you know, there's a lot online about, like, the feminine masculine energy.
I very much want to be in my feminine energy.
I don't want to take the masculine role.
I've had to, and I've been in those relationships,
and those weren't enjoyable for me.
Then you can't stay in this purgatory place regardless.
You either got to cut it and run,
or you got to make one more statement of,
hey, this is what I'm looking for,
and if he doesn't give it to you, then you go.
Because you're just in a purgatory,
you're going to be miserable regardless.
You're in the middle space.
I know.
I just couldn't tell if I was self-sabotaging,
though, or if I'm getting the right lives.
I think now you're maybe holding on a little too long.
Okay.
Yeah.
So, all right, well, good luck.
Let us know.
Yeah, thank you.
I think he's play Twister with him.
He'll come right over again.
We got about it.
Probably.
Here's a voicemail we got last night.
Back in December, I signed up to be a partner in hope with St. Jude.
Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago, and I received my two shirts, my this shirt saved live shirt, and my Penth and Joy shirt.
Well, the first day that I wore my St. Jude shirt, I won tickets to the Tennessee Boat and Fishing Expo.
Let's fast forward to today, first day I get to wear my Peth and Joy sweatshirt, and I went.
two tickets to Sam Hunt.
So my question is, do you guys put luck in the fabric of the shirts or do you just put it in the
package before you send it off?
Fabric, yeah.
It's woven.
Yeah, it's lucky fabric.
Yeah.
And everybody that becomes a partner in hope with us at some point during the year when
they wear that shirt, lucky things happen to them.
Just one for sure, sometimes more.
And I can't guarantee it.
At all.
Because you may miss it.
Yeah.
But, right, like you may not even know.
There may be a lottery, winning a lottery ticket on the floor.
And you just don't pick it up.
Yeah, you've got to take advantage of it.
But if you become a partner in Hope and you have your Pimp and Joy shirt on,
at least once a year while you're wearing that shirt,
something very lucky will happen to you.
It's up to you to prevent forest fires.
Sorry, it's up to you.
Yes.
Give a hoot. Don't pollute.
Yeah.
All right, thanks.
I appreciate that.
Thanks for becoming a partner in Hope.
All right, let's play.
This is Calvin the truck driver.
Man, I want to say, Ian Muncic, he blew me away.
This guy, home run.
Awesome, man.
I hope his music gets out there.
I'm already jamming.
Right now, it's unrolling.
Thanks for the show.
Love him.
Ian Muncic, awesome.
Like, legit, authentic, good, talented.
Just, that dude's for real.
Go back, go to our YouTube page and watch him perform because it was awesome.
Just go look for the Bobby Bone Show on YouTube.
Warning, though.
You'll be going, ooh-hoo.
I know.
After he performs, I want to howl like I'm running a campfire.
Yeah, I did it for a long time.
Yeah, I know.
Here's Amy's pile of stories.
So if you're on the fence about whether or not to vote in the upcoming presidential election,
Taylor Swift or Travis Kelsey could be people that help you make up your mind.
Like the Taylor effect on voting.
If you're helping you make up your mind, you don't need to vote.
If that's what you're depending on to make up your mind, you don't need to vote.
Well, it's like, let's just say if either one of them encouraged you to vote, like a poll was taken.
And it's like, yeah, if Travis told me who's voting for and Taylor, they told me, like, I'd be like, okay, fine, that's who I'm going to vote for.
Yeah, those people shouldn't vote.
I don't think everybody should vote.
I think if you don't know what you're talking about it, if you don't know anything about it, maybe you don't vote.
Maybe if you do and you do just, I don't know, 10% research, figure out what you believe in and then go and then go vote.
I think everybody should do, you know, tintsy, tintsy bit of research and then go vote.
But I don't think everybody should vote if they have no idea what they're voting for.
and if you're waiting on Travis or Taylor to tell you to vote, maybe just stay home.
It's just, that's all.
I get it.
I think the best thing is whomever it is, if it's Taylor, if it's whatever famous person, bringing awareness that, hey, this is the day we vote.
Learn what you're about so you can learn what it's about and then go vote.
I like that.
But it's always weird when people just go vote because a celebrity tells them to vote for whomever.
By the way, I'm endorsing.
I'm just kidding.
Go ahead.
Well, we definitely like The Rock.
I feel like if he ran for something, we might vote for him.
And Chris Jansen says that a duet with The Rock is pretty close to happening this year.
I feel like the Rock would be funny to run, but then once they run, it gets a little different, and they're not as likable because then you find out what they're about.
And some people just don't like what some people are about.
Yeah. That's always the case.
It's like, who was the wrestler, Jesse the Body Ventura?
Yeah.
But it was so, it wasn't as toxic back then.
Yeah.
I mean, you're talking about the toxic politics is like the last 10.
years. But he ran as an independent
though. And Governor of Minnesota
was really well
liked. But yes, if you're famous
now, it's just almost better.
Either you're passionate and you stand
for something or you don't do
anything. Because if you're just loosely
associated, people are going to not like you.
And you're not even getting the benefit of really
putting forth anything
that you believe in. So
yeah, here you. Schwarzenegger.
He wasn't a wrestler, but Ronald Reagan,
actor. Actor, yeah. Way before
us, but yeah, all right. So finance buzz is looking for someone willing to listen to a full 24 hours
of breakup songs and they're doing it to create the ultimate breakup playlist because they're
going to judge people's reaction or monitor how they're responding to the music. And the person
that gets picked is going to get paid $1,100. But I was thinking we should have something here
where someone has to listen to 24 hours of, I don't know, some sort of music and we monitor and
And we make our ultimate playlist.
Yeah, you do it, Amy.
Yeah, go for it.
Hey, I always say I wouldn't ask anyone to do something that I wouldn't do.
There you go.
Right, right.
I mean, I feel like it would be a good emotional release.
24 hours.
It's on, starting now.
Let us know.
I don't know that it could last that long, but the ultimate breakup playlist, I guess,
will be coming to us soon once they collect this data.
I'm Amy, that's my pile.
That was Amy's pile of stories.
It's time for the good news.
With producer Eddie.
They're home.
It's not been good.
Katie is a kindergarten teacher in Minnesota at a Catholic school and she wanted to surprise her students with her wedding.
She's about to get married this next weekend.
And so she said, you know, I want to involve all my students.
So what they did during their daily mass, they brought all the students in, not just from her class from the whole school.
And they acted like it was just mass, but then she had a wedding ceremony.
So her husband showed up.
They walked down the aisle.
They had flower girls, scripture readers and all that.
But then she does get married like on Sunday.
So she just wanted to do that for her class.
I thought it was really, really cool.
It was a little warm up.
And then on the way out, they all had pom-foms.
They threw rice on her.
It was really cool.
Oh, a couple things.
You know if lunchbox would have had rice in like second grade?
He'd have been pounding them with them.
It wouldn't even been like a little flicker.
It'd have been like, wham!
Because they're always those kind of kids.
He was one of those kind of kids.
Yeah, he was.
And you know, she must really love those kids if she's thinking about that.
Yeah.
She's getting married and she wants to have those kids at her wedding.
Like, that's the kind of teacher.
that you want.
Yeah. It's a little weird.
She did it before her wedding.
Because now the husband's seen her in her wedding dress.
Everything's ruined.
Well, they didn't have to wear the same way.
Yeah, maybe they're not wearing all that.
I'm sure she didn't wear the same wedding dress.
I would hope not.
Okay.
You think that's that big of a deal?
I would hope not.
Yeah.
I mean, have you ever seen a wedding?
I would be willing to bet money that she didn't wear the same wedding
that she's going to wear for her actual wedding.
I bet that as well.
Okay.
Yeah, me too.
And true.
You'd have been chunk and rice.
Oh, I do it as an adult.
You do?
When you go to wedding?
Yeah.
My brother-in-law got married and they were like,
I don't know if he threw flowers or what.
And the wedding planners walking around going,
all right, now when they walked down,
you're going to throw it.
And I had been drinking.
I was like, like, throw it?
No, do not throw it at their face.
Throw it above them.
It'll ruin the pictures if you.
I whacked him right in the face with him.
He showed him.
Good job, dude.
You didn't throw anything at our wedding,
in my wedding.
You didn't have anything to throw.
Oh, we had sparklers.
Oh, yeah.
You didn't burn us with them.
Yeah.
Well, that's a little different.
Burn right in the butt.
Catching someone on fire
and throwing.
rice at someone is a little different.
Isn't rice bad, though, because it's bad for the birds?
Yeah, I don't think they do that as much anymore.
I don't think they do a different kind of thing that looks like rice.
But it's still rice.
Like bird feed?
Sometimes they do birds. They just say organic bird rice, but it's still rice.
Okay, there you go. That's what it's all about.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
Here's a voicemail from Kristen in North Carolina.
I was just curious to hear from Lunchbox what's happening with his whole trash can situation.
I don't know if you've addressed it. I may have missed it, but I wanted to know.
if his trash is still piling up or have the trash people finally started to take it?
Or did Lunchbox just do something nice to maybe change their mind?
Quick recap.
Lunchbox came on the year during Christmas and said,
why would you tip your trash guy?
Not if you want to tip him, cool, if not cool.
He said, why would you want to tip your trash guy?
All of a sudden his trash wasn't getting picked up.
Yeah, for like a month straight.
Hilarious.
What's the update?
So they missed it another week.
And so I was like, all right, I got to do something.
And I was like, send a complaint.
What's that going to do?
do nothing they're just going to say yeah cool so what did i do i just went out and moved my trash
can three houses down they picked it up no problem what about the house that isn't yours that you put
the trash in front of oh they picked it i mean you can have two trash cans but they weren't like why is there an
extra thing a trash off i didn't ask them do you still do that yep but if it's in the alley i don't know
that they would notice if they've already taken their trash out they may not notice here yeah i just would be
like what's happening is somebody getting rid of like dead body in front of my house right so i outsmarted
The garbage man.
He was trying to stick it to me.
I stuck it to him.
Adder boy.
Yeah.
A lot of things.
But what I had to do is I had to go and move it three houses down.
Then I had to go get it and move it three houses down.
So he's really annoying.
But my trash is getting picked up.
It's a constant stick to you though.
It really is.
Over to Amy now.
Let's get in the morning corny.
The morning corny.
What did the scientists say to his Valentine?
What did the scientists say to his.
Valentine. I think of you periodically.
That's pretty good.
That was the morning
corny. You can have

like a strong stance.

Yeah.
Five or more, you have to pay him $10.
All right.
Ooh, got the money right here.
Here we go.
Here are your songs.
Believe.
If I could turn back time, strong enough.
Yeah, I got it.
You don't want to ask for a sing.
I think I know what that believe is.
Go ahead.
That's share.
Correct.
Wow, you got one.
Yeah.
One point.
I know that because Ryan, big fan.
Do you believe?
Yeah, Ryan O'Dell, big fan of share.
Next up.
Are you going to go my way?
It ain't over till it's over.
Fly away.
Oh, boy.
It ain't over till it's over.
Nominated for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
What is the songs again?
It ain't over till it's over.
Are you going to go my way or fly away?
Remember, you get three sings.
I'm going to go my way.
Are you going to go my way?
Why does that sound familiar in my head?
Three sings.
Give me that
Was it fly away?
Yeah, fly away.
This is gonna use one of your three sings?
Yeah, sing it.
All right.
I want to get away.
I want to fly away.
Got it.
Okay?
Oh, you gave it to me, dude.
Well, you got an answer if you're ready.
Let me grab it.
Correct.
Yeah!
Okay, so that was his only lifeline?
No, he gets three sings.
Oh, I thought I get one per artist.
No, you get three sings.
Okay, that's one.
You got two left.
ruined it.
All right.
No, no, you need that.
Did you?
I don't know.
I kind of, like, I was singing that song.
What was it?
Are you going to go my way?
Yeah, I was singing it right.
Next up.
Wasted it.
That was stupid.
The space between ants marching.
Crash into me.
The space between.
Ants marching.
Crash into me.
Crash into me now.
That's merely fresh.
Oh, crash.
Ants
marching.
Man.
Oh,
ants marching is tough.
Ants marching one by one.
What's the other one?
The space between?
Ants marching crash.
Dave Matthews Band?
Correct.
Yes!
I was seeing that right.
Right.
No.
No.
How did you get that?
Because he crash into me now.
No.
It doesn't ever say now.
Crash into me
Damn
Baby
Oh no see I think I'm thinking of
Freshman
We were merely freshman
But I was thinking
Hey you got there
What's he got three?
Yeah
Oh boy
He gets three more
He wins
That's good
Crazy Train
Mama I'm coming home
Back
Bark at the moon
Okay
Here's the problem
Crazy Train
Mama I'm coming home
Bark at the moon
Yeah
I don't know
the name of the group.
But I know the guy
because Crazy Train
is our boy Ozzy Osbourne.
But what group was he in?
Or is it just him as a solo artist?
Was he a solo artist when he sang Crazy Train?
No, that's Lenny Cravitz.
You already did that one.
I thought you just sang that. Said that.
No, no. Crazy Train.
Mama, I'm coming home.
Mama, I'm coming home.
Bark at the moon.
He was in.
What band?
You know what?
I'm gonna play it.
No, I can't.
Black Sabbath.
Incorrect.
That is the band Ozzy Osbourne.
But the answer is Ozzy Osbourne.
No!
Yeah, he was so low.
No!
No!
That's crazy.
You know what's funny?
I said, I'm gonna play it safe.
And I was gonna just guess Ozzy Osbourne.
I was like, no, it's just a stupid move.
But that was cool because that was the band that you were thinking of.
He did find the band.
Oh my gosh.
Next up.
That's a bad sign.
Thank goodness.
I want to know what love is.
Waiting for a girl like you.
Cold as ice.
I have no idea.
You got this, man.
No, I don't know this.
This is a mess.
I want to know what love is.
Is that right?
You get two more scenes.
I want to know what love is.
I mean, there's nothing.
There has no clue what this is.
I want to know what love is.
Oh, man.
I'm trying to think I got an 80s band.
I want to know what love is.
George Michael.
Incorrect.
You're trying to sing.
I want to know what love is.
Yeah, you're kind of singing it.
I know.
Or, I've been waiting.
Or a girl like you.
I'm not.
She's as cold as ice.
Willing to sacrifice our love.
They played the million dollar show with us a couple years ago.
Foreigner.
No, no, no, who that is.
Anybody famous in that group?
They're all foreign.
I mean, foreigner.
The band.
Next up.
Falling apart here.
All right. So he's got how many right?
Three right?
He needs to get six.
I got two wrong, man.
Here we go.
Gosh.
Ozzy's going to, I mean, it's going to haunt me for $10.
Don't look back in anger
Champagne Supernova
Now I know that one
Wonderwall
I thought the band was called Wonderwall
His eyes were awesome on that one
They opened up big and then they closed again
Like when you said champagne supernova
I was like oh Wonderwall
That's it and then you said Wonderwall
Champagne Supernova
Don't look back in anger
I got it
Wonderwall
I got it
It's the brothers Oasis
Correct
Yes!
Good one.
Wow.
Wow, wow, wow, wow.
He's got four.
If he gets two more,
of the next four, he wins.
Man.
I need his two more, man.
That's a lot, though.
Next one up.
Oh, we're not playing clips.
I know why, because then we couldn't put it on.
I got this now.
I'm like, man, why are you guys giving me like hints?
I get it now.
Podcast.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Okay.
Jane says, been caught stealing.
Never heard of these.
Mountain song
Mountain song
All these are nominated for the
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
All massive artists
Mountain song
Caught Stealing
Been caught stealing
Mountain Song Jane says
There's Jane's addiction
But would they really do it
Jane says
Been caught stealing
Man I have no
Man is that a context clue
Am I talking myself out of it again
Jane says
Jane's addiction
I remember you have
there are four more left.
You have two sings left.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
But I don't know any of these songs,
so it's not going to help me if you sing it.
Okay.
So I'm going to go,
do I take the context clue?
Eddie doesn't want,
he's trying to,
he's trying not to look at me.
I'm not doing anything.
I'm going to go Jane's addiction.
Correct.
No way!
Are you serious?
Are you serious?
It's so dumb.
James is.
I don't even know.
I'm done with Sergio.
No idea.
I thought they were
like a scream band
No, no, no, no, no.
Wow. One more. Who was in
Jane's Addiction? Oh, he was in that
Perry Farrell? No, the guy that married Carmen
Elektra. Yeah, yeah, yeah, Navarro. Dave Navarro.
That's him.
But you said no to my answer.
But you said someone I've never heard of.
I know, but you said no, and I do believe Perry Farrell was in Jane's
Addiction. Perry Farrell was the singer, and he's also the founder
Lollapalooza.
All right, lunchbox. One more.
You are the champion. Man, this is why.
That's funny they would name a song Jane says that that that I love it ready go for it
Get down on it get down on it get down on it
Celebration
Celebrate good times come on I know that cherish
Never heard that one
Okay
You got lifeline dude no no it doesn't I don't need him to sing it why not? Because I it doesn't matter if he sings it
I I know the songs I
I've already sang them to you.
Come, celebrate good times.
Come on.
What those other ones?
Get down on it.
Get down on it.
Celebration.
Get down on it.
Cherish.
Cherish the memories.
We're going to go.
One more he wins.
He sounds drunk.
The bingles.
That's incorrect.
Wow, wow.
It's that cool in the game.
Get down on it.
He knows the songs.
Get down on it.
Yeah.
I never got it.
But you were singing it.
Yeah, no, I know, but I've never, I would have never,
you could have given me a hundred million names.
There are two left.
He has to get one of the next two to be a winner.
Oh, man.
And this is where they're getting hard.
It's cool and the gang, never even heard of them.
But they're rock and roll hall of famous.
We are wildly famous.
It's fine.
You have two sings left as well.
Yeah, I know.
Show me the way.
Do you feel like we do?
I never heard of you.
Although I thought it was, do you feel like I do, but it says, do feel like we do.
Well, I made to fact, check that one.
and baby I love your way
Oh my gosh
I've never heard of any of these songs
Same again
Show me the way
Show me the way
Baby I love your way
Oh we're going a lot of ways
And do you feel like
I or we do
It's I right I thought it was I yeah
Okay well do you feel like I do
Do I'm gonna sing any
There are two versions of it
He can sing he's ready to sing
Go me the way
do we go the way
and do you feel like I do?
Oh my God.
Way.
I mean,
what if I say my two sings for the next one
and I need two songs.
You got a countdown.
I sing that first one.
I can.
I want you
to show me the way
every day.
I want you
yesterday.
It's pretty good.
Yeah.
Sounds like the artist.
Thank you.
Uh,
I have run into this guy at the gym here.
Can he ask you to sing two songs of the same artist?
And that counts for three?
He could ask for one more in this same set.
I'm just not.
Don't worry.
But you need, I mean, okay.
Go ahead.
Thanks for trying to convince me.
I thought about saving that for the last one.
Do you feel like I do what he says, but do you feel like we do is the actual name of the song?
Mike was right.
That's confusing.
Mm-hmm.
Fish.
Not a bad guess
No idea
That's even a band
The answer is
Peter Frampton
I feel like
Do you think he would have known
The third song
If you sang it
Well
It wouldn't matter
I've never heard that name in my life
Would you know this
Ooh baby
I love your way
Every day
Yeah
Yeah
I may have heard that song
I want to be with
A night and day
I've never heard the name
Peter Frampton in my life
Okay
Yeah
You have
I mean it's been said
You probably just weren't
paying attention
I probably just thought it was your neighbor.
My neighbor?
Anybody's neighbor.
I don't know who.
He does live here.
Doesn't sound like a...
Hey, last one.
Rock and roll Hall of Fame.
Oh my gosh.
It's coming down to one.
I knew it's gonna get harder.
It's Ozzy Osbourne.
I would have it in the bag already.
It's so stupid.
I'm gonna give you a choice
because I have two different questions
and I don't want you to feel like I'm cherry picking.
Oh my God.
So you can pick one or two.
That's not cool.
I know, but,
They're two different artists and I'm not going to pick one that's easier or harder.
Well, give me the songs and then I'll tell you what I want.
No.
No.
Go one or two?
One.
Here you go.
Be without you.
I don't know that song.
Just listen to the songs.
How about you give me the ones that I didn't?
Family Affair.
Oh, I've heard that one.
Mary Jane All Night Long.
What?
Oh, Mary Jane.
Why do I know that song?
You have a sing.
You have a sing?
You can sing it.
Well, the ones I didn't pick.
Mm-mm.
Sing Family Affair.
Family Affair goes like this.
Let's get it
Crunkin' For the night
And doesn't dance so sad for me
You gotta say,
but you got to dance for me.
Come on, baby.
Let's get it high.
What?
Wow, I don't even know that one.
Let's get it.
No, no, no.
Okay.
Does that sound familiar lunchbox?
Yeah, it does?
Yeah.
That's actually really good.
That was actually really good.
good. It was like spot on, man. Thank you.
Do you want to hear the other one now? Yeah, I do, man.
If I would have said,
nothing compares to you.
Oh, Shaneh O'Connor. Yeah.
Oh my gosh, you would have gotten that. Oh, my goodness.
Well, hey, focus, focus, focus.
Ozzy and Shnade, I had it. I had it.
Lunch, you haven't lost yet.
Chenade only has one song, too. That was it.
Let's get it crocking for the thing,
and the, time, that memory.
Oh, my God. And then he goes, come on, baby.
Just do it in a...
Okay, okay, okay.
You have cash?
I'm checking.
Be without you.
Yeah.
Marry Jane all night long and family affair for the win.
Five seconds on the clock.
Yeah.
Can we circle back?
Nope, that's the last one.
I would.
Oh, ma'am.
I would.
Missy Elliott, give me $10.
He yells.
He yells Missy Elliott and takes Eddie's $10.
That's right.
I didn't even give him my money.
Let's go!
You never touch someone's money.
You always touch it because it's my money.
You never touch someone's money unless it's your money.
Give it to you.
You never touch someone's money.
You want the ceremonial handle all.
Correct.
All right, right.
Give it to him.
It's rude, man.
Lunchbox says Missy Elliott.
The answer is Mary J. Blige.
Oh.
Oh my God.
Oh.
Yes.
So close.
They both start with N.
He's falling to the ground.
Lunchbox, I'm sorry,
did not win your 80 $10.
And if you would have picked Ozzie
or picked nothing compares to you
that you, the Shinnever Conner.
You got options.
You get my money, fool.
Where's my money?
Oh, my God.
Play Eddie's.
Oh, can you play Eddie's?
song even? We can't play wind songs? Oh, well.
Podcasting is about to throw me...
I mean, my uncle's not going to sue us.
Oh, my gosh. Oh, yeah. Oh, my gosh.
All right, thank you. Lunchmarks pay your guy.
Oh, no.
You ever stumble into something late and
you're like, how did I not find this earlier
because it is so good? That's how I feel
with that show Fargo. I'd still not seen the movie,
but I'm watching it all off.
Like, I watch season 5, A-plus. Why, season 2?
A-plus. We're in season 1,
A. Okay, so far.
Waiting for the plus.
Yeah, and the seasons don't really.
You can watch them separately, I'm told.
But it's just so good, and it's been out for like 10 years since the beginning.
And so it's one of those things where it's like, how did I not even know that this existed?
And so they have a lot of decent music too.
And I'm watching that Fargo season two, and it was based in the 70s, like 1979.
And you'll see where I'm going here.
But there's a scene, and this song is playing.
It's the song that goes, I just dropped in.
to see what condition my condition was in.
And so they're playing it all throughout the scene.
It's like a chase scene or something.
That guy, that's Kenny Rogers.
Oh.
Wow.
That's Kenny Rogers in the first edition.
You have like Post Malone where everybody's going,
we can't wait.
Because I can't.
It's going to be awesome.
I think Post Malone's country album,
it's going to be awesome.
Whenever he did the CMAs,
it was really cool.
It was him, Morgan Wallin and Hardy,
and we're like, let's go.
That should be pretty cool.
And there have been other artists.
artist that have crossed over just for a second.
Cheryl Crow?
Okay.
I think Cheryl just kind of exist.
I think her music can live a lot of.
Yeah, it has always been that.
But country music is a little, is way more broad now.
But there have even been times where there have been things that quote, unquote, aren't country.
Like when Bob Wills, the Texas Playboys, like when they first used an electric steel guitar,
that was screamed from every valley and mountain.
That's not country.
And that's so country.
My point.
Anyone that's ever taken country music and turned it a little bit to a version that we know now,
at one time I was told, that's not country.
You can go to Garth or you can go to Wayland.
The one consistent in music has been, well, that's not country, except it turns out that's exactly what country is.
That being said, I don't think Beyonce is trying to come over and be a full-time country music artist.
And I also think it's a little bit of fake outrage by people like, I can't believe she's doing good.
She put out, and
Listen, I'm not a massive Beyonce fan
The song's pretty good
And I didn't listen to it at first
Because I was like, you know what, I'm going to let everybody
Have their minute with it, fight about it
And then I'm going to listen to it
And just see if I actually liked the song
It's good
And you want to talk about you're hypocritical
If you're like, I like Post Malone coming, but not Beyonce.
Beyonce's been on the CMAs, Beyonce did Sugar Land
Beyonce has a history too
She's a Texas girl.
It's crazy to me how people get upset about it
but also if the song wasn't good
I would just be like
ah this song's not good
and I don't program music
I don't even program music on this show
for the most part unless I'm just like
let's play this
Ray find the song
yeah Ray find the song
because I have time to program music
but I did go into it
going okay let's see if this is
if I even like it
I hoped I would like it a little bit
but if I didn't I was going to come on and go
hey there's been a lot of artists who tried
what country music doesn't like
not me, but country music, finger quotes, doesn't like.
Artists who settle to do country.
Meaning they've been successful in another place
and they can't find that success anymore.
So they're like, I'm just going to go try some country stuff.
That's not what Beyonce's doing.
She's found success.
Arguably, the only person bigger than Beyonce is Taylor Swift.
And that's arguably.
But I would say Taylor, then Beyonce, but barely.
So I'm watching all the fake outrage.
And my new thing to do on Twitter is get
on and say some stuff to make everybody upset, then never look at replies. I just get off of it.
Rile everyone up. Well, yeah, because if I'm not there to look at it, it doesn't really happen.
So tree falls in the woods. Like, I pushed the tree down and then closed my ears and ran out.
And so I'm on last night because people are yelling at me like, that's not country. And that's okay.
You can have your definition of what's country and what's not country. But you don't get to be
the king dingling of all country music. And what's considered traditional country now at one point was
like, that's not country. That's the one thing.
that has been consistent in country music.
It's really the only thing that's been consistent
because at one point electric guitars in country music,
are you out of your mind?
That's not country.
And whenever you look at the history of country music,
it wasn't started about white folks in the South.
It was people coming over on the African
coming over on slave ships,
bringing their banjo type instruments.
The Europeans bring in their fiddle type instruments.
That's where country started.
So I guess if you're going to go,
that's not country.
Nothing's country.
unless it's from Africa or from Europe
with those instruments.
And so last night, some woman hit me up.
I was in the middle of tweeting
before I got off Twitter all the way.
I was post them a little tweet, tweet, tweet, tweet.
And she was like, yeah, but it was a real rudimentary form of a banjo.
I said, yeah, every invention ever.
If you look back to the first car,
that was a rudimentary version of the first car
compared to what we have now.
But the song's good.
If the song wasn't good, I would just be like, hey, good luck.
But I do like the song.
Now, just for the record, it doesn't even matter if it's Luke Bryan or Stapleton or Miranda.
If they put out a brand new song, it doesn't get slammed to number five on the charts in the first two, three, four weeks.
It takes a bit.
Luke Combs, right?
Like his number ones and his fly.
So to Morgan Wallins still take eight, nine, ten weeks.
So I'm not going to get into the whole should we or should.
Shouldn't we not play Beyonce?
Because that's going to be up to the public to determine,
just like they do everything else.
Remember, Morgan Wallin wasn't a country artist when he started.
He went on the voice as like a soul singer, pop singer.
But you can also be multiple things at once.
Like, I'm a trailer park kid from Arkansas,
but a lot of people see me as like a rapper.
Jelly Roll.
For sure.
Yeah, of course, jelly roll.
Yeah.
Oh, that's a good one, Amy.
Yeah.
Do program directors, like, do they listen to the audience and be like,
oh, you know what, they like this?
We'll play more of this, or do they just kind of decide?
Both yes and no.
They do so much research now by actually doing what they call out research,
where yes, they do, again, this is not my area of expertise,
but at one point I was involved more of music programming.
They'll do call out research in a couple of ways
where you will get in touch with people who listen to the format.
They're called like a P1, and you'll play them all these songs
and they rate them by like a survey on the phone
or on the internet.
It's like, hey, do you want to take this?
Yeah, do you like how this song sound?
It's a new song.
You know, I heard this one, what do you think?
And then they'll base it on that.
Oh, wow, okay.
There's almost, I say almost.
There's almost no version, at least within our company, of just going, you know, there's
no data on this, and I think this song's awesome, so let's just play it all the time.
Yeah.
Mostly it's, hey, we believe in this artist and this song, and they have a history of doing great
things, one after the other.
So we're going to give it a benefit of the doubt, maybe playing overnights a little bit,
and see then how it tests.
So, not really.
It's like requests.
Request for killed once fan groups started calling in books.
And be like, I just want to request a song.
Yeah.
You'd have 94 in a row, some artist you haven't heard.
And you're like, well, that feels fishy.
All that to say, you ain't that mad about it anyway, people that are mad.
You just need something to yell about.
Yeah, I was going to say, like, focus your attention on something that really matters.
Yeah.
And if you're over there yelling at me on Twitter, I don't see it.
I will not go back today.
I might go back and add a couple, but I don't look at it.
I was getting hit hard.
I was getting hit pretty hard.
That's okay.
That's okay. That's matter.
But anyway, I'm just going to play the song too because if I would,
if Carrie was singing this song or Miranda was singing this song,
you'd be like, that's a cool country song.
Because it's not like there aren't rhythmic influences,
first of all, in country music, period.
And secondly, in the music we do now.
Like every third Morgan Wallen song is going to 8.
08 and it boom, boom, boom, boom.
And that's cool.
I feel like it was a little bit unbelievable until I really start making money.
It's Financial Literacy Month, and the podcast, Eating While Broke, is bringing real conversations about money, growth, and building your future.
This month, hear from top streamer, Zoe Spencer, and venture capitalist Lakeisha Landrum Pierre, as they share their journeys from starting out to leveling up.
If I'm outside with my parents and they're seeing all these people come up to me for pictures, it's like, what?
Today now, obviously, it's like 100%.
They believe everything, but at first it was just like,
you got to go get a real job.
There's an economic component to communities thriving.
If there's not enough money and entrepreneurship happening in communities,
they fail.
And what I mean by fell is they don't have money to pay for food.
They cannot feed their kids.
They do not have homes.
Communities don't work unless there's money flowing through them.

Brad, welcome to the Bobby Bone Show. What's going on, buddy?
Yes, sir, Brad!
I know Brad's there.
Because I can hear me on his phone.
Hey, Brad, I'm going to count to three, and if it doesn't work, I'm going to explode your phone.
How funny would that be if we had that power?
That'd be amazing.
Yeah.
Hey, Brad, I guess we can just do the news and leave him on and see if he comes back.
Oh, man.
He's been holding for like 20 minutes.
He's in Colorado now, so it's a little earlier there.
Let's listen in and see what Brad's up to.
Oh, no.
Oh, can you imagine if he's like,
give me all your money, make it quick.
Give me all your money, make it quick.
Oh.
Hey, Brad.
So he's on hold.
What do you think could be the issue here?
Do you think he put his phone down for a second?
He's on a walk.
It sounds like a snowstorm.
Yeah, so I'm saying.
It sounds like he's walking through the snow.
Maybe he's stranded.
He needed us to help.
Either that static or heavy rain.
I think it's static, guys.
Yeah, I do too, Eddie.
He's in a bad spot.
I don't think it's snow.
Okay.
Then let's put Brad back on hold.
We'll do some news,
and we'll check back in and see if Brad's there in a minute.
But don't hang up on him. I like him.
He's funny.
We don't know anything about him.
He has a lot to the show.
All right, let's go.
Bobby's Big.
Stories.
One in ten vacation rentals is fitted with hidden spy cameras.
No, see.
That's too high.
Way too high.
That's great.
Are they watching me do it or poop?
Probably both.
Oh.
Yeah, I was going to say.
Why not?
I don't.
It's the pooping I don't like people watch.
Do you go into those rentals and try to find the cameras?
They say too.
I do.
Every single one.
No.
I start moving the pictures, like the paintings, their paintings on the wall.
Start moving them, see if there's a hole in.
I touch them to see if they're a rip with a hole on it.
No.
I think I've stayed in five.
I haven't found a camera yet.
Well, five.
You got five more to go.
One of ten.
Could some of them be that they're just like watching eat?
Why?
Sure.
Some of them could be as they put cameras in case somebody messes up the house,
but you still can't do that inside.
Right.
And they're probably Eddie not in the paintings.
Why?
They're going to be anywhere.
It's probably like in like a fire, smoke.
Oh, yeah.
That kind of, you know.
Or do a vent.
I look in the best.
That's a good spot.
You take the vents off?
No, no, no.
But I look in them.
I like at a chair and look in them.
And then he's right there in the camera and he's like, ha, ha, he doesn't see it.
Well, they say that vacationers are at the mercy of being spied on.
As many as one in 10 rental properties are affected.
By the way, I don't care if they're outdoor cameras showing the front porch in the yard.
That's security stuff.
Yeah.
The devices can be hidden in sockets, smoke detector, shower.
Shower heads.
Oh, no.
Shower heads.
I'd still rather you ask me shower than poop.
I'll be honest.
That's still, that's the most vulnerable I am.
That's why a dog, when a dog poops, does his head to the side to side, because that's
their most vulnerable position.
Yeah.
And so they're watching to make sure, no predators.
Even if they don't feel that, that's what that is through, you know, genetics.
Oh.
When they're doing it, because they know that's the time when they are so easy to get.
Victims often have no idea.
I bet you there are many naked videos.
of me though from when I used to go to the tanning bed back in the day
they'd get busted putting like cameras in those tanning bag.
You would be fully naked in the tanning bed?
Back in the day, yeah, and I put a little bunny on my hip.
To see that you got a tan?
Yeah.
Who wouldn't?
Yeah.
Yeah, back in the day.
But no, first of all, I don't tan in bed at all now
and have it in 10, 15 years, I spray tan.
Yeah.
Much better.
No bunny needed for spray tans.
Methodist church pastors accused of dealing
Crystal Methodist.
63.
Meth, meth.
Huh?
Methodist.
Oh, funny.
I didn't catch that.
He's a Methodist pastor.
That's good.
The Reverend of Woodbury United Methodist Church
was the rest of Friday after cops were tipped off at a side gig.
He also kind of looked like Walter White from Breaking Bad.
You see a picture of him?
Yeah.
And my question is, do you come to confessional and that's when he slips it to you?
Or how does that work?
So they busted him at a drug deal that was set up.
up by a witness who had told police that
was going on. He was pulled over by
state troopers. He was found to be in possession of
crystal methamphetamine in both rock form
and liquid form in a needle.
And he was
apparently, allegedly
slinging meth in exchange
for watching gay couples engage in sexual
activity. Oh my goodness. Oh man, he was doing
everything. Through a camera on his Airbnb.
No, that part is not true.
That was just a joke off the last story, but yeah.
The rest of it is true. It does say from the New York Post
he was allegedly slinging meth in exchange for
watching gay couples engaged in sexual activity.
Can't you just, like, give them money?
I don't know.
You've got to do a whole other drug thing now.
Yeah, but the people that want the exchange,
they may not have the money, they just have the drugs.
No, no, no, you give them money.
And they go buy the drugs.
Yeah, then you're just out of the drug part.
Okay.
Yeah, because you're the one that probably counts the money
when people donate, just skim it off the top.
No, no, no, no.
Instead of being like, guys, that's morally corrupt,
and we shouldn't do that.
We're always like, well, here's what he should have done.
Yeah, I know, that's bad.
It is bad.
I know.
And for multiple reasons.
Yeah, but if you want to watch people do whatever, that's not against the law.
Just pay them money.
But he's probably selling drugs and making more money in other ways on the side.
Yeah.
Doesn't sound like he was on up and up.
Yeah.
I don't know.
A lot of thoughts right now.
Obituary scams, courtesy of AI, are now a thing.
Scammers have a new way to steal people's money obituaries.
You've probably gotten links in.
messenger with a message saying, I can't believe they're gone.
Those are fake. More and more fake
death announcements and obits are popping up.
They are AI generated. In many cases,
the people thought to be dead are actually very much alive.
And it can be people that you know from Facebook
that create a fake one. And then
they ask for
assistance. That's from the verge.
I wonder if my AI
because I have
a couple of these apps. I wonder
if I could create, just say, hey,
AI, create an obituary for me.
Huh, I'm sure.
That's weird.
I know, but I just...
I can write it up.
It doesn't mean it'll go anywhere, but...
But sometimes this stuff lies.
Oh, sorry, follow me here.
Or it really tells the truth, because sometimes the AI will say I was in O-Town, which I was in O-Town.
Remember everybody?
Yes, we remember.
I was kicked out early, but I was in O-Town, the boy band.
And sometimes that's become such a story that we've made up on this show and that it shows up in some of these AI.
But it also shows you an AI.
doesn't know everything. Which one do I have?
Jeannie. That's AI.
The one that I have, I think, is Jeannie.
Is that one the best? I have a couple.
I don't know what's best or not. I'm not even here right now. A.I.'s running the show.
No, boy.
Stop.
What?
Just don't be ridiculous. I can. Okay, hold on. Hold on. Here we go.
Create an obituary for Bobby, Bone.
moments.
All right.
Here we go.
From the top.
They made it already?
Uh-huh.
Whoa.
Whether he was cracking jokes with his colleagues,
mentoring aspiring broadcasters,
or lending a helping hand to those in need,
Bobby's compassion and generosity knew no bounds.
Bobby leaves behind a legacy that will continue to inspire
and uplift generations to come,
though he may no longer grace the airwaves.
His spirit will live on countless lives,
and he's touched so many people in the memories they created.
He will be dearly missed by his family,
friends, and colleagues alike.
In honoring Bobby's memory,
let's cherish the moment shared, celebrating the joy we brought into our lives and carry forward his legacy of kindness and compassion.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.
Funeral rangers will be announced in the coming days.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to St. Jude and Bobby's memory.
Forever our hearts, Bobby will be remembered as a true radio legend and a beacon of hope for all.
Wow.
It really did a great job.
I didn't know if it had stuff like, you know, born and Mountain Pie in Arkansas.
Well, it did in that time.
Survived by or whatever.
I really wanted my O-Town bandmates to be mentioned.
It didn't make the cut.
Oh, that was very kind to you.
I'd believe it.
You're acting like it was too kind.
No, I'm just saying you should feel good.
That was very cool.
No, it's not going to find the bad stuff.
No, I don't stop.
Yeah, no, bitchery never said the best.
It didn't make it sound like that.
Why can't you assume the best instead of assuming the worst here?
Because we're all such close friends that we don't assume the best because we all have the liberty to poke at each other and give each other a really hard time.
So that's what we do.
Okay.
I was saying.
No, you said you were surprised.
I didn't say that.
I said he's very kind to you.
Like, that's like, you were just reading that off the cuff.
You could have read, it could have been worse.
It just listed all like the fine, the EAS fine and all that.
All the bad stuff.
Imagine if they started.
He cheated at poker night one night, one night.
Giving details about how I died and it was right, the future.
Oh my goodness.
It was like June of 2024.
He was doing too much access and died on a plane crash.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
And they're like, what?
That's not true.
That's the movie.
somebody saw their future, predict my future AI,
and then has to keep from going into the future
and it keeps dragging them into it.
That's the script scuba.
And then every time they make a turn,
I'm not doing that,
they somehow still get swept into it in a way
that they didn't expect.
And all of a sudden they're in it and they're like,
oh my God,
I'm now doing what it said I was doing.
Oh!
That's pretty good.
I like that one.
I'm not writing it, but I like that.
It's really good.
Knowing and using positive words
is half the battle of being more positive.
Researchers found the people who know more positive words
relating to emotions and their feelings are likely to have better mental health.
People who naturally use words like glad, joyful, glee, happy are also likely to be in physically better health.
Cheerful words have the ability to change your mindset.
That's from nature communications, a research journal.
And then finally, are Americans getting smarter over the decades, or are they getting less smart?
Less smart.
Less smart, yeah, because we can rely on spell check and we don't have to do anything.
GPS.
Google.
The latest research into IQ finds that scores have dropped in the last 15 years.
adults are receiving lower IQ scores on logic, vocabulary, vision, problem solving, and simple math.
Education experts say it's because our phones and internet do a lot of the things for us.
We also read less and don't give ourselves time to comprehend things from intelligence, a research journal.
Yeah, that's a good point because so much is coming at us at all given moments and it's hard to take things in.
I would argue this.
I would argue that we should be tested differently because we're now learning things differently.
Instead of, do you know what the capital of New York is or what the triangle goes into this,
It's here's a touch screen.
Can you figure out a way to do that, that?
And I think it's all the way you take a test.
But my five-year-old can navigate through a phone.
And that five-year-old, smarter than you were at five,
but maybe doesn't know the same way,
the same thing's the same way.
Now if the world ended,
that means cavemen were smarter than us
because they didn't have any technology.
And were they in certain ways?
Yeah.
Killing.
They'd figure surviving.
Yeah.
I just think how they administer the test is probably needing to change.
Hey, but that's just me.
I see what you're saying.
That's just me.
And what's the capital of New York?
Albany.
Let's go back over to Brad in Colorado.
Hey, Brad.
Hello.
What's up, buddy?
Hey, we just had a minute with you.
Did you hear it on the radio?
No, I didn't because I had the radio turned down.
Oh, classic us.
Okay, well, what do you want to say?
So I was curious, if anybody on the show or how many
listeners do not celebrate Valentine's Day.
You know, me and my life have been married for 22 years now.
And now it's our second Halloween.
So we just wake up and tell each other happy second Halloween and go about our day.
And I think that's great.
By the way, Valentine's Day is the dumbest, fakesst of holidays if you don't want to celebrate it.
If you do and like you purpose feel like, let's just do something because it's not like Christmas.
it's not like Jesus is born
although people would say he wasn't really born in December
based on where the sun and the stars were
or it's not Thanksgiving although we did murder a lot of Native
I mean it's right but there are actual reasons
that we have these holidays except for Valentine's Day
but isn't there like a St. Valentine?
They've made it up. Oh he's not real?
I don't think so.
I think they're St. Valentine but I'm saying this whole holiday
was derived by people wanting to make money.
Oh for sure for sure.
And they do.
They make a lot of.
We don't even get off work for it. That tells you how valuable it is. That's crazy. And lunchbox is right, man. I should have waited until tomorrow to buy roses. They were expensive. I told you. And it wasn't even like a day of like giving cards. It was originally a big feast. Oh, that's cool. So it's not even really what it was. And it was
Valentine? Who's named Valentine? Who's a martyr? And so it's not even what it is until like the company's like, we should turn it into love for people have to buy treats for each other. And Cupid? Was Cupid real?
Yes, Eddie.
Yes, a little thing that flies around with an arrow.
Yeah, an arrow and shoots people in the horse.
Yeah, T-Rexes.
Those are crazy, but they were real.
And so was Cupid.
Exactly.
Tell your kids that.
Yeah.
All right.
And you know what?
Cupid's real.
That's the news.
Bodies.
Stories.
That's so stupid.
Cupid was actually like a Greek god.
Oh.
But it wasn't even Cupid.
It was like.
But this tracks because I think.
Eros.
That's why I had an arrow, but it wasn't spelled like that.
E-R-O-S.
I've heard that.
I think you have.
I've heard of E-R-O-S.
But do you know what E-R-O-S?
That's where the word like erotic comes from.
Oh, my.
Oh, so it's...
All right, that's even better.
Wow.
Didn't know that.
E-U-R-O-S.
No, it's just...
You can check this, but I think it's E-R-O-S.
E-R-O-S.
But I think that's all coming together then.
Erotic.
Valentine's Day gets a little crazy, you know what I mean?
Okay.
I think, and his mom was Aphrodite.
Oh, my goodness.
The goddess of love...
sex, whatever.
So is that where like oysters, oysters is an Aphrodite?
No, oysters is an aphrodisiac.
But good job because Afrodisiac rooted in Afro.
Yes.
Wow, that's crazy.
See, it's all together.
What song is Aphrodite's in?
Afro-Man, because I got high.
Because I got high.
Because I got high.
I was going to play a song.
But then I got high.
All right, hold on.
We'll be back in a second.
I promised lunchbox to have a few minutes because it's not a fire sale because he only came yesterday and said he wanted to sell these reservations.
And he only has four.
Have you sold any of them?
No, these, I've been getting some people reaching out, asking questions, but no one that is taking the bait.
So lunchbox reserved four restaurants and four different cities for tonight.
Yeah.
The cities are.
Wichita, we got Chester's Chop House, Wine and Bar, table for 2, 9 p.m.
right over the lake
It is the most romantic spot
That's so late
In Wichita.
I hear you
Has Chester's called you though
Or like reached down a DM?
No no no
No one from Chester's has reached out
Surprise
They were like hey we can give you a better spot
Since you're doing this
You know on the radio
Oh maybe I could yeah sell the 7 o'clock spot
You're running out of time though
What's the other place?
We are down in Tampa
At Becito Mexican
Table for two at 445
That's right
445
You could actually actually
actually go to Besito's, have dinner, then go to the place in Wichita, be hungry again to eat at
nine. And he said it was like, you can go to the beach too, like a little, but I think we saw
the beach is like really far from there. You take an hour drive to the beach afterwards and watch
the sunset? You can go to a lot of places in an hour. Okay. Okay. Go ahead. What else?
Then we're headed out to Denver at 8.30 p.m. Denver, Denver, Colorado. We are at the
Bendery at 8.30. I can't wait for that one. That is a top of the line Denver restaurant.
830, not terrible on time.
Still late for me, but for some people,
that would probably be the very back end of prime time.
And?
And then we're going down to Knoxville, Tennessee, go Volves.
We're going to the pharmacy, and I believe that is at 830 also.
F-A-R-M, I see.
And you're selling them to people who don't have reservations.
Yes, because it is Valentine's Day.
You guys waited to the last minute.
You realize, oh my goodness, I'm supposed to whine and dine this girl, this guy,
whatever, who you're ever, you're trying to whine and dine,
and you don't have anywhere to go.
You Valentine snuck up, you got busy, but I got your back.
It sounds like lunchbox kind of slept on it too because you got some bad times.
No, no, I had to have a variety.
You're telling me you chose 445 because you wanted a variety.
Yes, because I thought older people listened in Tampa.
And I wanted to give them time to get to the beach to watch the sunset.
It's an hour drive.
So if you...
Just think about this.
Think about a proposal.
We can almost get to the beach in an hour,
We're totally landlocked.
Like proposal.
You go to Besito's at 445.
What town is this again?
Tampa.
Got it.
You eat.
Then you drive to the beach.
You draw a heart in the sand.
You get down on one knee, propose.
Well, you just took the next level.
Wow, that'd be cool.
Okay.
If we actually, the one good thing about our studio,
because everything's breaking like crazy,
is we now have way more phone lines.
Yeah, I know.
That's a great thing.
Because a lot of people are going to be calling.
How do you know?
That's what I'm hoping.
Okay.
No, I mean, how do you know with phone lines?
Oh, I walk by the phone.
Yeah, it's big now.
And Abby has to work now.
Like, it used to be like three lines and Abby just sit there and just chill.
I think I always take it out on that.
She was like, oh, here, let me do this.
I'll just play on my phone.
It's like, Abby, aren't you going to answer the phone?
Oh, we only have three lines.
Don't worry about it.
Well, we have like 10 now.
Yeah.
So if you want to call and buy one of these from lunchbox, you can, I will allow it.
But I think you can have to come down your price.
Yeah, we're going to go down to 50.
Oh, really?
So not 100 anymore.
50 bucks for the reservation.
Yeah, they were 100.
They have been, it is a half off sale.
Wow.
Fire, he did, fire cell.
Fire sales.
They all must go.
Everything must go.
He paid a deposit on two of them.
Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
Wait, so are you going to lose on the deposit?
No, no, we're not going to lose.
Okay.
Because Amy said once they show up, you did.
Yeah, but if nobody shows up.
Oh, well, they're going to buy the reservation.
Right, but if nobody buys it.
Yeah.
So then you'll break it in.
Then you lose.
Yeah.
They could lose if nobody buys it.
But someone's going to buy it, right?
Abby, what do we got?
Line four?
No, line four is about a hair transplant robot.
No, don't care about that.
No, hold on.
We'll come back to it.
I want to grab one more call real quick.
Kayla in Clearwater, Florida, lunchbox.
She heard your segment.
She's ready.
Trying to sell that reservation in Tampa.
Kayla, what do you want to say to lunchbox?
Hi, morning, studio.
Morning.
Say the lunchbox.
Live in Clearwater.
And our sunset time right now, I know you're trying to say.
sell it for sunset, go to the sunset afterwards.
That's going to work.
The sunset says right now at 620.
Yeah.
Okay, so you interested?
No.
No.
And I'm closer to the beach and Clearwater than I would be in Tampa.
I understand.
I've been to Clearwater.
I've been there many times.
But I'm just saying, are you going out for Valentine's Day?
Pesito Mexican, perfect spot.
Nothing says love.
Have you been there?
To what?
The place you're saying is the perfect spot.
No.
Oh, got it.
But on the Google, it says one of the top 15 restaurants in Tampa.
Wow.
So if you need something, margaritas on a Valentine's, you need it.
It feels like, like I've never heard him be this passionate during a commercial he gets hired to do.
And for 50 bucks, he's like really selling his soul here.
Kayla, thank you for the call.
Well, no, you didn't even give her another chance.
She said no, she doesn't want it.
But she may change your mind.
Do you want it?
No, thank you.
I'm actually going to the beach this afternoon.
but I just wanted to let you know
that sunset's 620
Thank you very much
Bye Kayla
Bye have a great day
It's not funny Kayla
We got a big update coming up in a second
From?
I don't want to say who yet
But it's a big update
About something career-wise
And it's possibly going to make somebody
jealous on this show
Uh-oh
I know
All right back next
I want to go over and talk to Emily
Who's on the phone
Hey Emily thank you for calling the show
What's going on?
Studio
So I wanted to call and see if there was an update on Scoo Zim's call yesterday with the Stranger Things and I think whatever the other movie was that was coming out.
I wanted to see if there was an update on that.
It was a fan design.
Me too.
Thank you for calling and asking.
So yesterday, Scuba Steve gets on and says he got a text.
And the text said we're doing a Zoom meeting slash half audition for the next season of Stranger Things.
and also for the movie Bad Boys 4.
Yeah.
And so did you ever click the link?
I did click the link, yes.
And did it pull up a Zoom?
It pulled up a Zoom.
Oh my gosh, did you go at noon?
And it had a guy.
I went at noon.
I actually clicked in five minutes early to be prepared and ready to go.
Did you have something ready in case they were asking it to perform?
No, so I didn't.
And it was because of the stage that I was dealing with here.
So after the show, we had some problems with connecting to an affiliate for a recording.
It's always an excuse.
No, it's real.
Eddie came back to me.
No, no, I hear you.
I'm not saying that's not true.
Bad day for him. I know. I know.
As an executive producer, there's a lot more going on than just this.
It's always something. And it's only this. This only matter, stranger things.
I know, but it seems like the same, like the universe always tries to challenge me in a way.
Because Eddie saw it. Within that 15 minutes span, that we had a connection that dropped,
they had to come up with a plan B. I have Kevin over my shoulder trying to help me out.
The devil. The engineers walk in. And I'm like, I'm like, really?
And then so I have my earpiece in. I'm listening to the guy kind of do the setup and do roll call.
Are there more people on there than you?
It was like probably 30 people because he does a whole roll call. If you're there, you know,
raise your hand. So it's real. Yeah, he goes through it all. Wow. And okay, so what does he look like?
He looks like a, you ever watch TMZ? You know the guy, Dax on there? He looks very similar to that.
Okay. And what is, what's his, what's he saying? Like, what's he like, hey, everybody thanks.
This is what we're, what's his like deal. I don't know. So he kind of goes to the basics of like, hey, this is what we do.
We're a casting agency. Right now we're casting for. And he goes through all the different shows.
He's like, who lives in Florida? Raise your hand. We're casting for bad boys and something else.
Carolina's we're doing Outer Banks.
He gets to Tennessee.
He talks about Stranger Things and some other upcoming productions.
Then he starts going through what they do.
Like, okay, we need you to submit a headshot, your measurements.
This is how it all works.
I'm like, okay.
And I kind of hear it in my ear at the same time troubleshooting a connection for Eddie's recording with a client.
And he gets to a certain point.
I kind of hear something.
And I'm like, I didn't hear that.
Maybe I did.
And then he sends, hey, guys, go to your chat box.
There's going to be a link there.
I want you to click on this link.
So I click on the link.
I see the information.
It talks about the casting and the process, your information.
And at the very bottom, there is a place to insert your credit card information to pay for a $99 sign-up fee and $40 a month.
And I'm like, this is very fishy because, as you may know, you shouldn't have to pay for casting.
Wow.
So do you think it was a scam?
So I don't know because I'm not going to pay for it.
I just know that my previous experience, whenever I have been a part of a casting agency, it's free.
Or is it a company that's trying to get you to pay so they can send you to the extra to the places?
I mean, maybe they're not casting for the shows, but they know who is.
And if you pay them, then they can like direct you that way.
Which by the way, I still wouldn't do.
Yeah.
And then it seemed a little fishy because then I asked him.
I called him out in the chat and I was like, hey, I've done central casting and other ones.
It doesn't cost any money.
Why are you charging?
You said that?
Yeah, I said it.
Yeah.
I said it.
Yeah.
I'm not paying money.
Don't you just take a fee or whatever?
And he goes, no, we're different because we not only cast.
but we also coach you along the way
and we do classes twice a week.
Oh, that's good.
What's that link?
I want to sign out.
That's like lunchbox in his classes.
He gets us all in on the scam.
What I'm saying?
Then I immediately thought of lunchbox and I was like,
he's been scanned.
Oh,
lunchbox's been scant big by his teacher.
Exactly.
So I'm like, I'm not falling into that trap.
So I immediately just end the Zoom
and I go back to here
helping Eddie with his connection.
Dang.
That's too bad.
But it was motivating, though,
for me to be like,
you know what,
I really should pursue this in some sort of fashion this year.
And if anything,
I'll take it at that note.
It was a positive experience for me, at least to be like,
I should try this in some other way.
Obviously not for this company.
Did you look and see what the company was?
I did, yes.
And it seemed a little bit like Scientology, kind of like fishy.
Wait, what?
Scientology casting agency?
Oh, dude, but when you live in L.A.
It's all Tom Cruise movies.
They pass up pamphlets constantly,
and all these sea level actors, like, come meet this person.
You're like, no one knows who that is.
So, but why did it feel when you went to the website,
Scientology?
Because I'm sure not religious.
No, not religious, but just,
you see these people, they just have like a, there's like a certain look to these kinds of people.
Interesting.
And they're usually like deep level, D level actors that don't really make it because of that whole scheme.
They just had this appearance.
I'm like, this is, this could be that.
So it's not for you?
Not for me.
No, I'm out.
So he's not going to be any stranger things.
Ah.
Yeah.
Why do you ha?
Yeah, thanks a lot, dude.
Yeah.
I would have brought you along.
You don't want anybody else to have it because you all.
also want it. I mean, you guys were rubbing it in my face. Look at Scoobie getting in a TV show. It's not zero
some. It's not that if he gets it, you can't. I don't recall rubbing it in his face.
No, nobody does. He says all the time, remember when you guys made fun of my dog for being sick?
Not a single one of us made fun of his dog for being sick. We were all actually quite concerned
with his dog. Yeah, and then I tried to stick around and jump in the call and scuba wouldn't let me.
Yeah, because who knows what you're going to do and record him from the show. Exactly. Only one was
audio for today's show. I'm not doing that, dude. It's like when Abby does a show somewhere at a bar or something,
he goes and tries to record it and like sabotage it for a bit.
Never would.
So she doesn't even like him coming anymore.
Yeah, I don't want to, yeah, exactly, yeah.
Okay, well, Scoob, I'm sorry to hear that.
It's all good, man.
It's all good.
How's your quest to get on the game show?
Aren't you trying to do that, too?
Or was that was lunchbox, right?
That was lunchbox, yeah.
We have some connections to make it happen, but there's some hurdles on the back end with our company of supports.
Always.
What do you mean?
Well, we pissed on a game show.
Well, we'd have to get it paid for to get him out there,
and so we're trying to tie with certain sponsors.
He can pay for himself if it's a game show.
Are you willing to put up the money, lunchbox?
If he gets on a game show, I bet he puts up the money.
I can get him on a game show easily.
We were trying to figure out how to get out there to do it.
If you're not paying for yourself to go be on a game show, you just don't want to do it.
No, I'm on a game show any day, any week, let's go.
I can easily get him on.
We just have to get them on.
Well, he can pay for his flight.
I mean, I need to be on prices right.
I don't think you can handpick what show.
And that's not guaranteed, right?
And there's no drip.
We're not buying you any drip.
Oh, my gosh.
Exactly.
No, no, I'll make my own drip for prices right.
you gotta have a custom shirt.
That's how you get picked.
You know what to do.
Yeah.
Do you know anybody at Price is right?
Price is right.
We could do,
let's make a deal,
and then potentially Wheel of Fortune.
Wow.
That would be good.
If you can even just get him a luck,
he'll pay for himself.
Okay.
You would for sure put up the bill to get it.
We're talking to airfare, hotel.
It should, no, it's like food.
You don't have to list it out.
It's just you have to go to Los Angeles on yourself.
Your own dime.
Yeah, yeah.
I mean, I can get to LA.
I got connections there.
It's not going.
He will go.
Okay, hey, let's move this.
Hey, Ray, would you, if he got you...
I just said, I would go.
Ray, if he got you on a game show, would you pay for yourself?
A hundred percent.
Okay.
I just said that.
No, Bull crap.
Lunchtime said it.
No, no, he didn't.
He said, I'll get myself out there.
Amy, did I not say that?
So, we're moving to Ray now?
No.
Yeah, I think we go.
Let's go, Ray.
He's just always like shady.
He can't even just say, yeah.
He's like, yeah, I got some king of shady.
Ray is king shady.
Eddie, who's king shady?
I don't know, man.
Ray always said backdoor.
deals under the table.
I'll pay a credit card over the phone right now if we do it.
Goodness.
Will you pay a casting agency though?
Yeah.
Yeah. Oh, wow. Okay.
Thank you, Scooper, for the update.
No, he's still on me.
Emily, thank you for asking that question if you're still there.
Yeah, I am.
Thank you.
Yeah, thank you.
This turned into a whole S show here.
But, okay, Ray, I can't wait to see you on the game show.
No, stop it.
Yeah.
All right, there you go.
Let's go over to Tampa.
This could be it, lunchbox.
Oh.
Yep, let me pull it up. Hold on. We are going to Bacito's at 445.
Suzanne.
Yes. You're on with us. What would you like to say?
I just want to tell lunchbox that I'm not interested, first of all, in buying the ticket.
Well, then why are you, no, no, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on.
We are taking interested callers only. We don't need you to waste our time.
No, no, no, no.
I don't.
Hold on a second.
Go ahead.
Let me tell you, I can go to open.
table right now and book a reservation for myself at 430 or 445.
So why would I want to buy the ticket from you?
At the same place?
Yes, it's Pasito's Mexican restaurant in Tampa.
Why wouldn't you buy more than one?
So you can get it for free just by booking it and then go instead of paying lunchbox for it.
Correct.
So would you like to buy it?
Why would you want to buy it?
I bet it's already gone.
They go fast, man.
You've got to be quick.
If you don't jump on it
She would have wanted it, she would have got it already.
No, she wanted to call and rub it my face
and then say, look, I'll book it and then boom, it's gone.
So are you going to buy it or not?
No, lunchbox, I'm not interested.
Okay, hang up.
No, I'm not hanging up.
How do you spell that place?
B-E-S?
B-E-S.
I-T-O.
I-T-O.
Oh, like a little kiss.
Basito, Mexican 205 West Shore Place, Tampa.
That's it.
Let's see what's available right.
Right by the beach.
Let's see what's available right now.
If you go to Bacito's right now, full availability.
Not full availability.
No, I'm saying I'm typing it up to what I want.
Full availability.
Everybody take a breath.
Buy everybody I'm in lunchbox.
Let's say I do.
Okay, you can get a table right now at four.
Oh, four.
Four, fifteen, four thirty, four thirty.
When is yours?
Four forty five.
Okay, well, you can get one at four forty five.
That's right next to yours.
Yeah.
And you can also get one of the nine o'clock hour too.
Okay.
But you can't get a four-forty-five.
Which is not great.
Is there anything better?
Is there like a 5 o'clock?
There is it.
But it's the same he has.
There's no way he planned ahead on this.
No.
Okay.
What's another place, lunchbox?
Oh, you want another different restaurant?
Pharmacy.
He's all thrown off now.
R-M-A-C-Y.
I bet there's a lot of pharmacy places.
London, Modesto.
No, Knoxville, ma'am.
I know.
I'm just trying to find it.
London would be nice.
Pharmacy.
Yeah.
Knoxville.
I can't even find it.
Yeah.
That's right.
It's on open table?
It's a rare.
Is it on open table lunch parks?
No.
Oh, it's not?
No.
Are you lying?
No.
How did you get that one then?
They called.
Direct to their website, ma'am.
Yeah, it's not on.
Oh, there is a 6 o'clock in an 830, though, if you just get on Google.
Six o'clock?
Yeah.
What is it?
Oh, Rezi.
That's the one.
There's a 6 p.m. and an 830.
When is yours?
Mine is 8.
Okay.
No, it's not true.
You've never had an 8.
Pull it out.
You're lying.
You've never had an 8.
8.
You haven't.
He doesn't have it up.
Is that the 9 one?
No, it's 8.30.
There's an 8.30 and a 6 right now at pharmacy.
He also said he went to their website and then when you said Rezzi, that's it.
Rezzi.
Well, their website does take you there.
What's another place you have?
What's the Wichshaw place?
Chester's Choppel's Wine and Bar.
Do they have open table?
Oh yeah.
I'm on open table on them.
Okay.
And what time do you have lunch on that one?
9 p.m.
Prime spot for a prime rib.
I like that.
Chester's.
I'm going to say with Chester's here,
there are only two times
at Chester's Shop House and Wine Bar,
and they're not great times.
What time is yours?
Nine.
Are you lying again?
No.
Is it in the nine hour or is it actually nine?
What's the exact time?
This one says 9 p.m.
Okay, because he lied last time.
I don't lie.
That is a better one because there are only two reservations.
Thank you.
Well, no, I'm not done.
One at 930 and one at 9.45.
Boom.
So that one, but it's like,
are you going to pay 50 bucks for 30 minutes?
Yeah.
Okay.
And then finally, the other one is.
Bendery.
I spell that.
B-I-N-D-R-Y in Denver, Colorado.
The Bendery.
It's a new American restaurant.
What time is yours there?
830, man.
So we got indoor dining for tonight at 530, 630, 7-15, and 7-30.
If you want the Valentine's dining room specifically.
That's what I got.
I got Valentine.
5-30, 6-30, 7-15, and 7-30.
Okay, so it doesn't matter.
Oh, wow.
Dude, what were you thinking?
Suzanne, thank you for your call.
We really appreciate that.
Yes, no problem.
All right.
Hey, Suzanne, you may be the worst call in the history.
Have a great day.
Let's go to Mike.
Oh, Knoxville.
Let's go, Mike.
Hey, Mike, what's up, buddy?
How much, sir?
How are you?
Doing pretty good.
What would you like to say?
Well, I looked up with the pharmacy,
and they still have reservation for free,
I believe from 4 o'clock
till 8.45.
Yeah, all night.
Yeah, who's going to go at 4 o'clock, man?
No, he said 3.
All the way through.
And you're trying to sell a 445 in another city.
Yeah, not 4, though.
So, yeah, Mike, I appreciate you calling because...
So, Mike, you want to buy it?
I was thinking about it, but I went another route.
Yeah.
Good for you, Mike.
What's your other route, man?
The free route.
Booking it free in a better time?
Yeah.
Free 99.
All right, hey, Mike.
Bad business decision.
Appreciate that call, buddy.
No problem.
All right, see you later.
One more call.
This is Addy, who's on line two.
Hey, Addy, you're on the Bobby Bone Show.
What's going on?
Good morning, everyone.
Hello.
So I just wanted to call and give you props on playing the Beyonce song.
One, I'm a longtime country fan, and I am not mad at it.
It was great.
It's stupid that everybody else is, like, trying not to play it,
So I can definitely respect and appreciate that you were willing to do that.
And I just wanted to encourage you to do things like that
because that's the reason I watch your show and look to your show.
Well, thanks.
I appreciate that call.
Thank you for hanging on hold to tell me that.
I hope you have a great day.
You do you.
Did you think she was talking to you?
Yeah, I thought she was proud of me from doing a business.
Got it.
Yeah.
As soon as she started talking, he went back to world.
I wonder why I said thanks and then his head went down.
Yeah, she said Beyonce and he's like,
no, no.
All right, thank you guys for calling.
We appreciate that.
Bobby Bones show
Boney up the day
This story comes to us from Calgary, Canada
A local dealer
wanted to drum up some new business
He was like, where can I go find some clients?
So he heads the casino,
he has his business card,
and a sample of his drugs
stapled to the business card
and handed out to random people.
He has a business card.
What does the business card say?
Is there a picture of it by any chance?
I just says his name and phone number.
But it doesn't say like,
drug dealer, number one in drugs,
voted three years in a row.
Want a party?
Five stars.
No, nothing like that.
Just says name, has a sample, phone number, and got in the hand of police, and they called them.
Yeah.
Oh, that's interesting.
I'm Lunchbox.
That's your Bonehead Story of the Day.
I do want to address something before we leave is that we, on the show, if you play a game and you lose,
you're supposed to pay the punishment or pay the money or the bet.
Eddie's upset because Lunchbox won't pay the bet from earlier today.
No, he still hasn't.
I mean, I had the cash and he grabbed that out of my hand.
Right. He was going to take your cash.
Then he lost the game and he still hasn't paid you.
Now, he doesn't have paid you by right now. The show just ended.
There's been no mention of like, oh, let me get money to you or whatever.
Like even after the segment, we went to commercial. I'm like, oh, okay, I'm thinking.
Well, maybe he doesn't have cash right now.
And he doesn't have Venmo.
He doesn't have Venmo? He does. He does? He does.
He does. He has like Venmo and Del.
I got Venmo and I got Zella.
There it is. He's got all of them.
Okay, okay. Sorry.
Yeah. Are you going to pay him?
Yeah, sorry. It's just been.
I've been working. I don't have all this free time like Eddie to work. I'm with you. I feel
you. Stop. Where's my money? Are you a book? Hey, and where's my money at? Are you in the mob?
I'm going to break your knee. If we're here tomorrow, same time, and he hasn't paid you then,
then I think we address it. Okay. But on this show, we pay our debts. But Eddie still hasn't done
his thing. That's right. Pay your debts. He did. He has to redo it, though. Yeah. I'm redoing it. It'll be here Friday.
Yeah. So, but that was the deal. He's redoing it. He did it. It sucked.
And somebody on this show doesn't have Venmo because I feel like I'm going crazy.
Scuba.
That's it.
No, but I, I, Venmo Scuba's wife.
Oh, that's right.
That's right.
We all do.
Whenever I have to send some money to him.
Okay.
Okay, but we're all good.
Like, pay him as month 24 hours, then you don't lose your kneecaps or an ear.
Exactly.
Or something else.
Thank you.
See you tomorrow.
Hope you guys have a great Wednesday.
Happy Valentine's Day.
Bye.
