Starting point is 00:00:50 I wish that I hadn't resisted for so long the need to change. We have to be willing to live with a kind of uncertainty that none of the time. of us likes. You can have opinions. You can have like a strong stance. And then there's your body having its own program. Listen to a slight change of plans on the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. On a recent episode of the podcast, Money and Wealth with John O'Brien. Starting point is 00:01:34 We break down budgeting, financial discipline, and how to build real wealth, starting with the mindset shifts. Too many of us were never, ever taught. If you've ever felt you didn't get the memo on money, this conversation is for you to hear more. Starting point is 00:02:00 Here we go. Come on, Bobby. Bobby, Transmitting. Hey, welcome to Wednesday show. Morning, studio. Morning. Let's go around the room.
Starting point is 00:02:14 He has a thing for movies that are in black and white. He's the oldest on the show, so that sounds about right. It's producer ready. Man, you know, being a man in this world, yes, mostly, you know, we get a lot of advantages, right? But there's a part of being a man that's not very fun. Okay. I think you somehow offended everybody with those two things, how you said it. You know, you know, like being a guy, oh, we get everything.
Starting point is 00:02:35 Whatever. Listen. being a guy is not fun because I was at the trampoline park and I see this little kid who's about to walk out the front door and I'm whoa whoa whoa whoa little guy four years old five years old so whoa whoa boy guy where you going he's like I'm looking for my dad and I go oh well well that's he's not out there trust me so let's go let's go find your dad so I take him to the front to where the you know the guy's checking people in are and the people working there probably like 16 years old 17 so they're not taking it serious at all I'm like hey he's looking for his dad can you call him on the intercom thing and they're like, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, sure. So they call the dad, but it sounds like, they're doing, like, he's never going to hear it. So then I was like, just wait here.
Starting point is 00:03:14 Your dad will find you in a minute. So I'm standing there with a kid for about five minutes. Finally the dad shows up, and he gets the kid by the arm and goes, hey, whoa, whoa, what are you doing here with my son? And I said, no, no, no, no, he's looking for you. He's like, you were a crepe? Yeah. And I'm like, no, no, no, he's looking for you. No.
Starting point is 00:03:32 Like, I'm like, why am I the bad guy here when I'm trying to help? your son look for you. Did you explain to him? I did. Did he listen? Nope. He just thought you were a creeper. He just thought I was a creeper. You were hanging out with his son. Exactly. So, all because I'm a dude.
Starting point is 00:03:44 Yeah, so I would say, I just would have set that up different. What do you mean? What do you mean? Well, when you're like, you know that dudes rock and ladies suck? Well, and then you're like, well, not always, because sometimes ladies are awesome and dudes are idiot. I would have just said, you know, when it comes to certain situations, being a man, definitely has its disadvantages. Yeah. It's just how you started.
Starting point is 00:04:03 Everybody was offended somehow. I mean, anybody that wanted to be offended found a reason to be. Okay, okay. But I hate that for you. I mean too, dude. I hate that. Trying to sell Valentine's Day reservations was a big old fail and at work. He likes to go through other people's mail.
Starting point is 00:04:17 It's lunchbox. I need to open up the courtroom. Bobby Bones, the judge, whoever wants to be on the jury. So I took my family and we went to like a kids like museum where they have like science stuff, but it's where kids can make a mess. They play with toys and it's like all sorts of cool things. and we were there towards closing, you know, 15 minutes still closing.
Starting point is 00:04:37 They come over the loudspeaker and they're like, hey, all right, we close in 15 minutes. All of our guests, please start cleaning up. And they start playing the clean-up song. Clean up, clean up. Everyone clean up. And I'm like, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
Starting point is 00:04:53 I didn't see anywhere on the ticket when I paid to come in here and said, you will get a discount if you clean up when you leave. So there was no discount. That's what you're saying. Yeah, like, why do they expect us to clean up. We paid to come there to play with the stuff.
Starting point is 00:05:07 It doesn't say anywhere to clean up. He's fired up right now. How he's really mad. Am I crazy? I think it's probably just part of the experience and also they're going to let you out even if you don't clean up. I mean, they're not going to be like clean up and if you don't you stay the night and you lock you in. Hey guys that are still here, if you leave at noon we're not going to ask you to clean up. But if you stay,
Starting point is 00:05:23 if you're here at closing, we want you to clean up the other people's mess. I thought every I think it's just kind of like a probably a fun game they do that if some people help, that's great and if not. It's probably also a way to teach your kids. to clean up, right? I was thinking, wow, I would love for my kids. You don't have to.
Starting point is 00:05:36 Clean up, clean up. Did you clean up? No. Okay. But I felt bad. He made it worse. He's still going down. The kids are like, oh, and that's the song they know when they clean up.
Starting point is 00:05:45 They're like, oh, dad, out of the cleanup songs. We got to stop playing with toys. I'm like, no, no, you got 15 minutes to play. Keep playing. And you could, but I think it's mostly just if kids want to help or if there's a lesson to be learned. You don't have to get angry. They're not making you clean up. That's kind of a, it's kind of a, it was pretty dirty what they did.
Starting point is 00:06:01 Playing the cleanup song changes kids. frame real quick. She saw a celebrity in the wild and it ended up being Little Big Town's Karen Fairchild. It's Amy. So I just found out some people that I went to college with that got married and they were married a long time, happily married, just made the move into separate houses.
Starting point is 00:06:19 Not far from each other. They're still married. That's not happily married. No, no. They really are. No, it's like a thing. They're just living in separate homes, but nothing different is going on. What we know is a traditional way of being married.
Starting point is 00:06:32 Yeah. But I mean, if it works and they're happy, it's like having your own bedroom for a while. And even that feels a little weird. But I think when that started to be a thing in like the 90s, people are like, I can't believe it. And now if it happens, it's still a little weird. But it's a thing. But I think we were talking about this. I think I have money to do that too.
Starting point is 00:06:48 Like you buy two houses? Yeah. That'd be nice. At lunch the other day, this came up and apparently it's becoming more common and. No. No, it's not. No, it's probably. No, it probably is becoming more common.
Starting point is 00:06:59 It is still such a frat. It's such a small, small, small percent. You don't think there's a last ditch effort to save the marriage? Eddie, she's telling you she knows them. They're her friends. Your favorite, uh,
Starting point is 00:07:08 Gwynas Paltrow. Yeah. Yeah, but she's not, is she married? Uh, I think so. Oh.
Starting point is 00:07:13 Again, she's not her first thing. Your relationship is not everybody else's relationship. Yeah. And everybody does things that could be considered odd or taboo or like two different bedrooms. That's one thing, right?
Starting point is 00:07:24 And then it escalates to two different houses. But what's next? Two different cities? Or it used to be two beds. We'd have one bed. That's great. Everything changed. Everything changed.
Starting point is 00:07:31 Before you know, it's going to be like, one's on earth, the other one's in Mars. The one that stays the same is that everything changes. Everything changes. Yes, that sounds bizarre to me too. Yeah. But I'm not going to judge because nobody's going to hurt. And if that's the best thing for their relationship, according to them and they're happy, why in the world will we hate on it? Do they have kids too?
Starting point is 00:07:50 They have other own houses too. Yeah, like where are they? Exactly. It's a whole neighborhood. I'm going to spend the night and moms tonight. No, I think once your kids, they don't. But my people that I grew up in my neighborhood, they're like my mom's age. they had friends that did this too.
Starting point is 00:08:04 And once their kids grew up, then they separated the houses. I'm not going to judge anybody for what makes their relationship work. But that's an older generation doing it. But again, I'm not, I'm not going to, but that's just because they got old and no one to live together anymore. No, I think that they just really enjoyed their space. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:08:20 All right. Go ahead. From Mountain Pine, Arkansas. He's wearing the pinstripes today. Looking like Jeter, I must say. Bobby Bones. Thank you very much. So I gave myself a full week to not do any of.
Starting point is 00:08:31 the TikTok. So there's a group called Dorm Dudes Break, and I go and I will pay like 30 bucks and they rip a jersey and if you get the team, you win a jersey. I've got like eight or nine jerseys. I brought some of the stuff that I won over the past few days in.
Starting point is 00:08:46 My point is, and I got a good point, is that I haven't done it in a week. I've given myself some time off. Good for you. And sometimes I get on it like I sure would like to, but I don't. But I got that cowboy helmet there. CD Lamb cowboy helmet.
Starting point is 00:08:58 It's a Devo Samuel sign 49ers. Helmet, mini helmet. This is a George Kittle signed 49ers. You won all those. Mini helmet. Hold on. This, a Dre Greenlaw, defense, place in defense for the 49ers, signed mini helmet. Wow.
Starting point is 00:09:18 And this is a Terry, excuse me, Trey McBride, Arizona Cardinals, signed mini helmet. And that's just some of it. I got a Steph Curry sign thing coming to. I had to stop. I had to stop. And all the 49er ones, because I just picked four-downers once, and the only time I've ever seen,
Starting point is 00:09:34 they pick three at the same time. And I'm changing jerseys with listeners. We have a little listener, a little group. Jersey swaps? Yeah, there's a guy named Mario. Those in Colorado. I sent him a Moester jersey that I won, and he's sending me a Josh Jacobs jersey for the Raiders.
Starting point is 00:09:48 That's cool. Because he wins them the same way as you? He only heard about it because of me. Oh, okay. Oh, you're not lucky. And then I won a George Pickens' full helmet on the show. A real-sized helmet. Yeah, on the show.
Starting point is 00:10:00 Oh, yeah, yeah, I remember that. So a bunch of stuff's coming, but I haven't done it in a week. I'm not going to do it maybe for another few days. And then I might just wade back in a little bit. So when you quit, do you watch it at all? I want a thing with pieces of jersey from Andre Dawson, Pistol Pete Marevich, like they're game-orned jerseys. That's crazy, man.
Starting point is 00:10:17 What were you saying, I'm sorry to interrupt, I guess. When you quit, do you watch it and not bid? Yeah. Ooh, it's risky. Sometimes I go to it. That's weird. Because I really do it on the toilet. And sometimes I'll just go and watch me like, that was cool.
Starting point is 00:10:28 That's like going to sit on a bar stool and not ordering a beer. It's like, that's not good to sit. But I can do it and I haven't. I haven't bought anything. Good for you. But check out all my helmets, signed helmets. What are you going to do with those? I mean, I just feel like you're going to end up a lot of stuff that you like don't want. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's fun. You should trade out for the CD lamb one. Just give that one to me. It's like total dopamine hit when I'm playing this game.
Starting point is 00:10:49 Yeah, they've got you hooked. No, I can stop. And I did stop for a week. No problem. A week. Yeah, but you know you're going back. I don't have to go back. You're able to stop because you're going back. But I'm telling you, I have to find my dopamine hit somewhere else. Like I'll go and play Madden or something. You know, sometimes. people that maybe have an alcohol problem, they can stop drinking for several days. Well, I can not be addicted and they just work all the time.
Starting point is 00:11:11 I feel my addiction. Especially if it's a behavioral addiction. The video shot's funny. You got all your stuff around. Wait, what do they say? Denials is like one of the major things. I'm not denying it. That's not an addiction.
Starting point is 00:11:26 You just said you get a dopamine hit. I do. But I get a dopamine hit when I eat a bunch of pie too. I'm addicted to pie. That's a good hit. I thought you said you can't. You like. a lot of sugar.
Starting point is 00:11:35 I do, but I'm not addicted to pie. I am. But not pie, maybe just like good stuff. I love pie, dude. I'm looking at this stack of helmets. I know. There might be a problem. Let's go.
Starting point is 00:11:47 I got more coming. We can get it on eBay. The Kittle one, we can sell for $139. You know how much you paid for it? $40. Exactly. For all three. For all three.
Starting point is 00:11:56 We make a profit. Lunchbox, do you hear a business? How much is the Debo Samuel one? Let me check. No, this is no business for him. Well, I just came about the idea. No, that's generally everybody's idea that buys this. They like try to resell them.
Starting point is 00:12:09 Debo right now, there's one up there for 99. There's one for 119, 119, 119. Okay. Okay, that's all. Thank you all for being here. I really wish I could do it in the one right now, though. It gets me excited to do them. Let's open up the mailbag.
Starting point is 00:12:25 You send a key mail and we read it all the air. It's something we call Bobby's Mailbag. Yeah. Hello. Bobby Bones. I work in a small office with around 10 other people. We all have one boss, but she's only in the office a couple times each week. One of our coworkers has kind of declared ourselves in charge when our boss isn't around, but it's not official.
Starting point is 00:12:47 The problem is she's a bully, and morale in the office suffers because of her. I thought about saying something to our boss, but I don't want her to think that I'm complaining or even worse. Make the bully's position official. Should I say something to our boss, or should I try to stand up to my co-workers? when she's being mean, signed. Co-worker keeping the peace. So what you have to evaluate first is by this person being the bully, parentheses the bully, is everything more efficient?
Starting point is 00:13:18 If she wasn't tough, would productivity go down? Because her toughness may actually make everybody feel uncomfortable enough that the job is done better. I don't know that that's the case. That's a good point. But it could be that she also could have been. quietly told by the boss, hey, I need you to be the team leader. And maybe she doesn't know how to be the team leader exactly.
Starting point is 00:13:43 But she's doing what she's been told. So there's that as well. If the answer is everything just kind of goes to crap and is worse off, then I think you don't talk to the boss boss first. You can go to the bully. Just punch her in the mouth. That's what I was always taught. Oh, wow.
Starting point is 00:13:58 Oh, no, that's not it? No, that's not it. No, that's not it. No, that's not it. I'm not a playground. You're not seven? Oh, okay. I do think that if you find that things are worse because of it,
Starting point is 00:14:07 you talk to your other coworkers and you say, hey, are you guys struggling at all? Don't even name the bully. We'll call it the bully. Don't even name the bully. Say, is there anything here that you guys struggle with? So it doesn't seem like you're going, trying to gather up a militia to take on the bully.
Starting point is 00:14:20 But if they have similar problems and they, then I think it's okay to then take it and address the big boss with it. Like, hey, a few of us are having issues. maybe there's a chain of command that we're not even sure about. Yeah, I think that's good to address that, because that was my first thought. It was that the boss quietly said. And then if you go complain, the boss is like,
Starting point is 00:14:42 are you judging my decision? And not only that, if the bully is the bully and works a lot better and it's just uncomfortable for you, sometimes it's uncomfortable. So I would just handle it very delicately without ever going and saying, that's the bully. She's making our life miserable.
Starting point is 00:14:58 Talk to your other coworkers. do not insinuate that that one person is the bully. Hey, are you struggling with anything here? If so, then I think you can, as a group, take it to the big boss and ask what the chain of command is, not point fingers. Pointing fingers in life is generally, even if they need to be pointed,
Starting point is 00:15:13 and even if it's true, generally not the best way to make things change because people get defensive and people don't react, mature out of defensive situations for the most part. So there are times where people should be called out and go for it, but if you really want the result to change more than you want that person to be called out,
Starting point is 00:15:30 there's a bit of a more diplomatic way to do it. Because sometimes you just want to be like, I hate the person, I'll show them. But if it's really not about the person and it's really about the situation, there's always like a nicer way or like a safer way to do it to actually make change.
Starting point is 00:15:45 It's like politics. Nobody's doing the safe way to make change. They're just yelling at each other so they get clicks. And so they get reelected. Yeah, I feel like thinking about how you really feel about the person reminds me of my daughter literally yesterday. like she's so annoyed with her brother all the time.
Starting point is 00:16:01 So she's coming up with reasons to come and tell me things that have nothing to do with her and the don't impact her or affect her in any way, shape, or form. But she comes to me and she goes, doesn't Stevenson have cavities? And I'm like, yeah, he had some last time we went. She's like, well, he is not brushing his teeth. And then she's like, and he's not flossing. And he went and did this with the lights. And I'm like, so Sharon, none of this affects you at all.
Starting point is 00:16:24 So now you're just telling on him for no reason because you're annoyed by him. him. Which then makes her seem like seem problematic. Yes. And I'm like, why are you stirring up trouble that has... Sure, just punch them. I mean, sorry, sorry. Sorry. Sorry. Sorry. All right. That's the mail bag. Close it up. We've got your email. And we're on with us now is Amanda, Amy's cousin, who is a spiritual, intuitive, psychic medium, a wellness leader. Hey, Amanda, before we get into some of the psychic parts of this and the, even the extraterrestrial, which I'm super excited about talking about. What is salt pathology? Yeah, it is basically tapping into the highest, brightest version of you. Okay, so I am fascinated with what I don't even know to be fascinated about
Starting point is 00:17:16 because I don't know enough about it, which is just the larger in every way. And, you know, I always look back at animals, for example, dogs, cats, birds. They have different cones in their eyes, different things in their ears. They can see and hear things in a spectrum that we can't or our television. the old school TV, you can flip a channel. All those shows aren't in that box, but you just get it to a different spectrum. Boom, you're watching something else. So there could be different spectrums here that we just cannot see and what could exist
Starting point is 00:17:44 in those. And I am fascinated with just the word I would use for these guys is aliens. And no, they laugh because they think a little green, they think a little green men. But to me, it's more than little green men, although that would be cool. So what can you tell me that you know about what we don't? No. So I've had a handful of encounters. The first time was probably 2014, 2015, and it was in my backyard near dripping springs outside of Austin.
Starting point is 00:18:16 And I thought I was looking up at a star and I was staring at it. And then it started to move very rapidly with laser lights and in a very geometric pattern. And I thought I was making it up. I went and got my husband. I brought him outside and he saw it as well. Okay, so that was the first time. And then I started stargazing and I would see them all the time. And then it got deeper than that.
Starting point is 00:18:43 So I went to Costa Rica with my sister and we had some very close encounters. They didn't get off the ship and there were no green men. Okay. But the UAPs, the unidentified, you know, aerial phenomena, they were coming in very close. and she saw them and was able to say, oh my gosh, I see them too. You're not losing your mind. And so she held space. And what was funny is we were with a group of people and there were two people who worked in the Pentagon with us.
Starting point is 00:19:20 Just people on this retreat and we got into deep discussions. We got a telescope out the next night. And next thing you know, the whole retreat is experience. hearing thing contact. Do you mind if I ask you some other questions and see if anything comes to mind? Yeah, sure. Not alien. I don't even like saying aliens, but for the sake of everybody listening, not related to that.
Starting point is 00:19:46 For example, will lunchbox get a new car this year? And again, you may not even be in the space to do this. By the way, Amy's cousin's on with us now, who is a spiritual, intuitive, psychic medium, wellness leader. She hosts the podcast called Soul Sessions with Amanda Riger Green. Did you say friends with aliens? Because she has relationship with them. Will Lunchbox get a new car this year? No.
Starting point is 00:20:12 Now, Lunchbox, if you go out and buy a car next week, just to prove me wrong, you know. But I don't think so. I think it's next year. How about Scuba Steve? He's been really flirting with this script that he's claimed he's written only in his head. And he's like, I have this great idea, but he never even sits down to ride it. Will he ever do this? Does he even have one in his head?
Starting point is 00:20:35 Or is this just something that he can have to tell us? So we're like, wow, he really is thinking of something bigger. First of all, yes, it's in his head. But also right now, he's just kind of exhausted. So he doesn't have the heart space and the creative space. Plus, there's a little bit of fear, scuba, that, oh, my gosh, this isn't really going to mean anything or it's not going to matter. So it's taking some time out to really get true to that dream, that calling. I don't even know Amanda.
Starting point is 00:21:05 She nailed it completely. I am exhausted. Is there anything that you can, I'm just going to ask a very broad, open question about myself. Is there anything that you're feeling about me that I should or could know in the next, I don't know, 12 months or so? One of the first things that they show me is you're in this space. year that feels more comfortable than you've been in the last two years and a little bit safer. So you're actually going to express yourself in a more true version that isn't as driven and focused on what you're creating. It's just focusing on really who you are and not caring, not being so
Starting point is 00:21:52 intense. Anything career-wise that you can tell me? I feel like you're coasting a little bit, and it's like you're surfing. It's the, you stay there. It's like what, not what's next or what do I need to do, let me just be and flourish where I am, and the opportunities will come for you versus you pushing to create. And like, be there. Be there.
Starting point is 00:22:18 Do you feel like anybody on our show gets engaged this year? Nope. Okay. Is there anyone in my life that I should be careful of, like, weary of that's close to me in my life, now? No, you're in a healthy place. Like, don't even call that in, Bobby. Let's go. You've had that in the past. Don't even know the number. Don't call that in. All right. Look, so our podcast is Soul Sessions. Thank you. And we will look forward to talking to you again sometime soon. May the, may a piece be with me with you. May the fourth be with you. May the fourth be with you. May the fourth be with you.
Starting point is 00:22:49 All right. Amanda, thank you. Bye. Bye, y'all. Thanks. Love you. Okay. That's Amy's cousin, we did a whole like 45 minutes with her. It's a whole special we're putting up on the podcast today. So you heard that a little bit there. But if you're entertained by that, I'm not even saying you have to believe it. But if you're entertained by that, go to the Bobby Bone Show podcast. Go search for the Bobby Bone Show wherever when our show's over today.
Starting point is 00:23:14 We did a whole special with her asking a lot of questions about us and aliens and all kind of stuff. So be sure to check that out. It's time for the good news. Oh, it's Bobby. Something good. In Conover, North Carolina, the quick action of a six-year-old named Quinn saved her mom's life. Quinn was looking on, and her mom was making dinner, and then the mom started to have a seizure, just uncontrollably. And so the kid's like, that ain't right.
Starting point is 00:23:44 They didn't know exactly what it was because the kid's six. And so she went to her three-year-old brother, and it was like, go. The neighbors are really close. Run over there real quick and get the neighbors. She stayed with her mom. And then the neighbors called 911, and they got there in time. And so because they were there so quickly, they saved the mom's life, basically. Wow.
Starting point is 00:24:03 So Jennifer, the mom's on the mend, and they gave Quinn a certificate. But if you're sick, you want a candy. Let's be honest. Oh, yeah, yeah. Ice cream. It's all good, but saved that until she's like 15. She needs some gummy worms or something. Let's be honest.
Starting point is 00:24:16 But pretty good. And also that three-year-old ran over to the neighbor's house. Amazing. A three-year-old? I've always wanted to test my children to see what they would do in that scenario, but I don't want to give them, like, trauma. But like a, you can treat it like the dream. Mind line. Hey, fine line. Like, I want to see how they'd react.
Starting point is 00:24:31 I want to fake dad and then be like, if they laugh at me, what do they do? Or do they go get help? Well, then when you really do, do do dead, they're like, Dad's getting us again. All right, that's what it's all about. That was tell me something good. A win is a win.
Starting point is 00:24:46 A win. A win is a win. I don't care what I'm saying. Yep, that's me. Cliver Taylor the 4th. You might have seen the skits, the reactions, my journey from basketball to college football, or my career in sports media. Well, somewhere along the way,

Starting point is 00:27:15 Do you know what I'm going to do? I'm going to pull out what you already have inside. We're coming into this world fighting for our lives. All I'm going to do is pull out what you already got inside. we're there to support and celebrate each other. And that's not like your story versus my story. You're going to walk up and over that dang mountain. You're not just going to put your mind over it. Yep, yep, exactly. And if I can't walk up and over it, I'm going to go through it.
Starting point is 00:27:37 Listen to Mind Over Mountain every Thursday on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Let's play the Bobby Feud. Funniest television characters. Okay. Think about it. We're going to roll the dice. to see who goes first.

Starting point is 00:28:33 Homer Simpson. Good job, number seven. Wow. Yeah, you might have fun of that. Okay. Seven points for lunchbox. Now we're in trouble. Give me...
Starting point is 00:28:46 And I knew that. Give me Urkel. Steve Urkel. All right, Eddie, over to you. We're talking about the funniest TV character of all time. Go ahead. I'm going to go with Joey from Friends. Joey Tribiani.
Starting point is 00:29:05 Yes. Number four. I didn't know his name. Okay, okay, okay. Let's go with Phoebe from Friends. Phoebe Buffet. Back to the Well. Yeah. Amy. Chandler Bing. Chandler from Friends. That's the one I had. He's on there?
Starting point is 00:29:24 Stupid, but I thought his name was that guy. The one they did. Yeah. Hang it. Well, they both would have been on there. Yeah, I would have got it, though. Right. Amy, over to you. Oh my gosh. Why can't I think of any funny people?
Starting point is 00:29:37 You know there's a lot. I know. Rachel Green. Rachel from Friends! Wait, why are the guys on there and the girls aren't? Lunchbox points are now doubled. 2,000 Bobby Bono. Listeners.
Starting point is 00:29:55 Who is the funniest TV character of all time? Jerry! From Jerry Seinfeld. So Jerry Seinfeld? Yeah. Show me Jerry Seinfeld? Works to deal with him calling him Jerry from Seinfeld. Why not just call him Jerry Seinfeld?
Starting point is 00:30:13 Eddie? He's funny, but Kramer was the funny guy in that show, so give me Kramer. Kramer! Number five answer worth ten points. That's amazing. Points are doubled in the second round. Okay, stop. Bones, give me SpongeBob Squarepants.
Starting point is 00:30:30 SpongeBob. Amy, points are doubled. Let me read you some of these that are on the list. These are the top 10 funniest TV characters of all time. Number one, Michael Scott. Number two, Chandler Bean from Friends. Number three, Joey Tribiani from Friends. Kramer from Seinfeld.
Starting point is 00:30:47 Homer Simpson from the Simpsons. There are still five left. Ray Romano? Show me everybody loves Raymond. Ray Ramon. What? That's so bizarre. It's hilarious.
Starting point is 00:30:56 I don't think these are the only ten people that are funny. I think these are the top ten old. So, I mean, there can be other people that are hilarious, too. You know? Yeah, like, okay. Like Bear Rwana. Who? Brederwana.
Starting point is 00:31:08 Oh. He's hilarious. He is hilarious. Lunchbox points are tripled. Do you have eight points total? You need one to stay in the game. No problem. Good.
Starting point is 00:31:17 Dwight Shrewt. Show me Dwight. Oh. Boom. Number three answer? White. That's good, though. That's worth nine points.
Starting point is 00:31:24 Lunchbox takes the lead. Four answers left on the board. Jim from the office. Yeah. No. Going back. Yeah, Jim's not funny. He's not funny.
Starting point is 00:31:34 He puts the stuff in the jello. He's a straight man. Michael Scott at one, Chandler Bing at two, Dwight Shrewd at three, Joey Tribiani at four, Kramer at five. You do not have six. Seven is Homer Simpson. Eddie, you need one of these.
Starting point is 00:31:47 I know. I know, and I'm thinking funny shows up all time, and what comes to my mind is cheers. So give me Norm from cheers. Norm! Amy, it's over to you. Now, you can win, because any of these you get would be a winner.
Starting point is 00:32:07 Sheldon from Big Bang, Siri. Interesting. Well, young Sheldon is hilarious. I never watched Young Sheldon. Oh, it's so funny. Yeah. Last season. So, we'll check back and see if Sheldon's on.
Starting point is 00:32:20 The number 10 answer was Lucy from I love. The number nine answer was Al Bundy, Marry with Children. Ooh, good one. The number eight answer was Barney Stinson, How I Met Your Mother. And if this next one is Sheldon, Amy is the winner. I got a question. Can you tell me which one he is? The main character, right?
Starting point is 00:32:43 Sheldon. He's not the one from Roseanne. Not the one from Roseanne. Thank you. Ooh, Roseanne. Is she on there? I don't think so. Show me from Big Bang Theory for the win.
Starting point is 00:32:54 Sheldon Cooper. Number six answers. One on earth. All right. Let's go. Let's go. Let's go. Okay.
Starting point is 00:33:13 So. Kramer cost me. We have five doors, Amy. Did you see the door? No. Okay. If you pick the right door, you win cash. Now, when you pick a door, you'll hear this sound.
Starting point is 00:33:23 It shuts me opening the door. Then I look in there. And if it's not, if there's money back there, if there's money back there, you'll hear this one. So, which door would you not like? One through five? Five. Okay.
Starting point is 00:33:41 Show her number five. That was all with the money. You got no money. But you didn't win the game. Yeah. Nice job. How much money was in the door? A thousand dollars.
Starting point is 00:34:02 Oh, my goodness. Oh, man. Bummer. Oh, what a bad day now? Whatever. What was it really? $20,000. $1,000.
Starting point is 00:34:08 $5? He wouldn't lie about that. I'm not about that. And for sure you can prove that I'm telling the truth. Yeah. Not true. Is this going to be uncomfortable for me? Because I heard it was pretty cringe-worthy.
Starting point is 00:34:20 But I need you to tell everybody else here on the show what you did before I play the clips. So my wife came to me as like, hey, we should go to Chattanooga this weekend. Just for fun. Just for fun. Okay. And I was like. Wow, we've never been to Chattanooga, and then the light bulb went off in my head. Do you know who's from Chattanooga?
Starting point is 00:34:42 Ah, yes, Caine Brown. Terrell Owens? No, no. Johnny Vanneis. No. Macy Bookout from 16 and pregnant and teen mom. She is from Chattanooga, and so I immediate was like, oh my gosh, we got to go to Chattanooga. Why have we not been to Chattanooga before?
Starting point is 00:35:00 Let's go find Macy. Was that your pure intention to go find a 16 and pregnant girl? Did you tell your wife that? Or did you just go, yeah, that'll be fun. And then you get there and look for her. I kind of told her and she's like, we're not doing that. I was like, we could look for her house. She's like, no, we're not going to do that.
Starting point is 00:35:16 Oh, her house. But how's like, she's like 30? She's older. But I'm saying you still go look for somebody. No, no, I'm saying like the show that she's moved houses since she was on the show. But I wouldn't want to see like. Well, she got pregnant at 16. Oh, that's so weird.
Starting point is 00:35:31 Oh, my God. So weird. Yeah, that's weird. Okay, so you go So I go to Chattanooga And everywhere I went guys I was on the lookout And I asked people
Starting point is 00:35:41 Hey, Macy around here Does Macy bookout live around here? Doesn't ring a bell to me You're tricking me right She's from 16 and pregnant And teen mom on MTV I'm afraid not my kind of television Oh she's from Chattanooga
Starting point is 00:35:58 And so I thought everybody knew who she was No I never heard I've been a cable in like a decade Oh man So you don't know if she lives around here? I was hoping to run into her Like Link if she lives
Starting point is 00:36:12 Are you not allowed to say? Is she lived that way or that way? Do you really don't know her? Did you say Link? He's like hey Link I think he meant wink But hey link at me if she Yeah I was just trying to get them to give me something
Starting point is 00:36:24 And they were not So she's not even known by those folks Those folks had no idea who she was And I was like that is crazy You must be living under a rock You're joking me That was apparently at a train station Yeah, we rode a train.
Starting point is 00:36:36 Oh, the Chattanooga Choochoochoo. Pardon me, boy. This is the Chattanooga Choochooch. That's cool, man. Oh, my gosh. You guys are so weird. Why? Because we were talking to my parents on FaceTime when we got back, and we talked about how we rode on a train.
Starting point is 00:36:50 And they did the exact same thing. And I had never heard of it. Pardon me, boy. This is the Chattanooga, choo. That is so weird because then they pulled up the video on YouTube, and it's like from the 1940s. Oh, yeah, yeah, man. And I'm like, okay. Was the train cool?
Starting point is 00:37:07 Did you ride the Chattanooga Chutu? I don't know what train we rode. You had to have. So then he went to what he put down as a local attraction. He's not saying what the local attraction is. Here we go. What do you know about Macy Bookout? Does she ever come here?
Starting point is 00:37:19 No, I don't know. I'm pretty news. Oh, but do you know who that is? No. She's like the most famous girl from Chattanooga. She was on 16 and pregnant and teen mom. And I came to Chattanooga and thinking, oh, I'm going to see Macy everywhere. And I haven't seen her.
Starting point is 00:37:32 She was on the TV show on MTV. No, I know what you're talking about. I'm talking about the people upstairs. Her son is dating someone whose daughter. Mom was on 16 and pregnant. Oh, my God. So now I'm thinking, is that the same person? Maybe.
Starting point is 00:37:47 Maybe. Yeah. Oh, man, I just thought maybe she comes here all the time because I was like, Chattanooga, she has to be here, right? Right, right. I don't know. Okay, all right. I'll keep my eyes peeled, though.
Starting point is 00:37:56 Okay. If you guys could step to the side a little bit, because I'm going to be. So, listen, I listen, I got some hot goss. I know. All the, uh, makes you sound creepy. Really?
Starting point is 00:38:06 Yeah, like twice. Like, Ugh. No, that's just disappointment. I know. It's very,
Starting point is 00:38:10 it's very like, dude, I don't know, go ahead. But it's the hot gosses. It's the hot goss is that, allegedly Macy's son is dating one of the kids that was also featured on the show. You know,
Starting point is 00:38:20 like one of the other moms had a- How hot's that guy? That's pretty interesting. So two of the babies from the show are now grown or teenagers in dating? Well, yeah. Is it Chattano? No,
Starting point is 00:38:29 they must be long distance. Must be. It's just his softwalk. coach, we're a wrestling coach. What? Macy's Shane bookout on her Instagram says she's a softball coach and her wrestling coach. Oh, maybe she coaches her kids?
Starting point is 00:38:43 I don't know. I can just go to the school. Hey. No, no, no, that would be weird. A wrestling meat. Oh, that would be weird. You're asking people on a train where she lives. That's not weird? Well, if she lived around there, they would know, and oh yeah, she lives up in that neighborhood. Or, you know, they wouldn't know exactly what house, probably. But...
Starting point is 00:38:59 And what if you would have found her house? Man, how... Would you have driven by it? for sure. Yeah. Had to get a picture. Like, what if I would have seen the house that, like... Would you knock on the door? Let's say, because I know she doesn't live in the original house.
Starting point is 00:39:10 So let's say I find the original house, like that where she was featured on the show. Would it be okay to take a picture in front of that? It's sort of like the... If you're in the street, you just can't get on the private property. It's sort of like the Walter White House when people, when he threw the pizza on the roof. Yeah. Except that show was massive. Stop. Stop.
Starting point is 00:39:28 Don't make people the numbers. Breaking Bad was massive. 16 and pregnant is massive. It's not culturally the same as Breaking Bad in any way. Yeah, I mean, I don't think so. Oh my gosh. You guys are barking up the wrong tree. That's not where that's expression to use.
Starting point is 00:39:44 If you guys don't think 16 and pregnant slash teen mom are on the same level as breaking bad. As breaking bad. Okay, pull the numbers. You're out of your mom. Let's crunch the numbers. You're out of your mind. Okay, thank you. What?
Starting point is 00:39:54 I didn't find Macy. Sorry. It was a rough weekend. What are you messaged yourself? I was looking for your house this weekend. No, no, I wouldn't really. I mean, looking for a house. House is probably the wrong terminology.
Starting point is 00:40:04 But you used it. Yeah, but I was just like, if she lived around there, I knew she, then I'd definitely see her. Okay. But no, I mean, everywhere I went, they couldn't tell me where she was at. I can't believe you rode the Chattanooga. I want to get that Chattanooga, me. Orcawala. Yeah, Chattanooga free.
Starting point is 00:40:21 Here's Amy's pile of stories. So a lot of people returning those Apple Vision Pro headsets, the fancy ones that are like $3,500. They put out. They'll have. Then give it to me. Okay. Well, they're returning them at a high rate. What does that mean high rate?
Starting point is 00:40:34 Did you just read that? Because I really want one. That's the headline. And I hear they're heavy, but they're awesome. Like, that's all that I hear about them from people I know that have it. That it's unlike anything you've ever seen, but it's big. Like the first VCR was like three feet tall. Well, comfort is among the top reasons.
Starting point is 00:40:50 Yeah, well, you know what? Technology and being able to do things other people can't do, that's not comfortable. Shouldn't be comfortable. Oh, I would give a pinky toe for one of those. You can't even get one right now. Well, people are returning them, so maybe you can. Well, I don't want somebody's useful. used one.
Starting point is 00:41:04 Headaches, motion sickness, other complaints are that it's not useful enough for the price. That's the problem of the first version of anything. It doesn't matter technologically what it is. The first version, you got to realize there'll be bugs and it will be quite large and a bit cumbersome for sure. Oh, man, I love one of those. I just know, though, if I get anything like that, I have to order the eye prescriptions. because you can't wear your glasses in it. Oh, they can customize it to your...
Starting point is 00:41:35 Yeah, they do, and it's supposed to be very easy. It just takes a couple weeks for them to send you that... You put your prescription, you upload it. Oh, I got to get... You know I'm gonna get one of these. I'm for sure. I don't even know when, but I'm gonna get one of these. My birthday's coming up.
Starting point is 00:41:50 My birthday, I was trying to... The wheels were turning out. So somebody has to get that for you. Yeah. I mean, it is coming up. Don't you think they'll come up with a newer one soon? So you should just wait? By then, no.
Starting point is 00:41:59 Because if they set the precedent, of we're going to put this out and then four months later put out a new one, then why would you ever get anything? Right. So, but how much time I'm asking? A year and a half? Okay. Well, because I'm like, by the time we get to April, like, what if you just wait till December?
Starting point is 00:42:11 I want to be disappeared from the earth and put that thing on. Okay. All right. Dictionary.com added 327 new terms, so I'm going to go over them. All of them. All right, number one. Just kidding. Only some of them.
Starting point is 00:42:23 I'm going to test you, Bobby, see if you're in the know. Bed rotting. Bed rotting. I don't know. I don't use this, but I would assume it's just staying in bed out long, long, long, long, time? Yeah, Gen Z says it's the practice of spending you many hours in bed during the day, often with snacks or an electronic device. I enjoy the occasional better-a-t. It's a voluntary retreat.
Starting point is 00:42:42 Yeah, okay. The ick. Oh, man, girls' ick all the time. If I were young now, I'd be icked all the time by girls. I'd be like, you do this. What does that mean? It's just something that turns you off real bad. A disgust or a dislike?
Starting point is 00:42:55 Yeah, we talked about, you guys may not, we're talking about it. Sometimes Morgan and I, or Amy, we'll talk about somebody getting an ick. And you guys just may not understand the language. Yeah, no. Y'all just, like, passed over it. Like, I don't know. Well, it's like, I'm in the cab with Eddie, and he's talking. in Spanish sometimes with a cab driver.
Starting point is 00:43:10 I don't even know what's going on. I just check out. I don't know the language. That's what we do over here. Mid? Yeah, that means it's just mediocre. It's like... It's exactly.
Starting point is 00:43:19 Yeah, it's fine. Busson. I don't know. Great, wonderful, amazing. What's that from, though? Usually the root I can figure out, bussen. Good question. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:43:30 I don't know that. I don't have the Latin. It's not Latin. It's like a part of an American word. Origin. I'm joking. Okay, Barbie Corps. pink outfits
Starting point is 00:43:40 anything like a decked out cheat code that's easy what an easy way to do something oh yeah I thought I was waiting for you to say it's like I did say it
Starting point is 00:43:48 it's a life hack or something like that and then range anxiety range anxiety it wouldn't be the driving range it wouldn't be the gun range range range
Starting point is 00:44:00 100% anxiety um I don't know I was good yeah the fear that the battery on anything of your electronics. They're going to run out of power. Oh, yeah, I live range anxiety.
Starting point is 00:44:12 Yeah. I have it right now. I'm at 83%. Oh, no, God. Okay. A source is saying that Dolly Pardon and Miley Cyrus could come together on Beyonce's next album,
Starting point is 00:44:20 and the rumor is they would be singing Jolene together, which, by the way, Beyonce's Texas Holdom, has four versions, and they're all at the top of iTunes. There's the explicit version. iTunes doesn't count, though, not about Beyonce, because it does great. iTunes, somebody can put out a song
Starting point is 00:44:36 we never heard of, and 72 of their friends download it, And for like two hours, it's number one. Or if somebody puts out a new podcast, it goes to number one, two, three, four quickly because it, so, yes, the songs are good. I'm just saying when people go, iTunes, you know what, we could all download the song on this show and make it number one. Any song. Right. Well, it was just more so that all four were in a row in the top five because there's the explicit version, the Acapella, the original, and then there's an instrumental. I'm not buying all four of those.
Starting point is 00:45:04 Also, I don't really buy music anymore. It's all, I stream it. Most Americans do now at this point. All right. I'm Amy. That's my pile. That was Amy's pile of stories. It's time for the good news. With Amy.
Starting point is 00:45:18 Tell me something good. This guy, Rick, bought a toolbox from a farm auction back in 2017. And then a few years went by and he started going through it. And he found some love letters. One letter in particular that was so special that it moved him to where he's like, I have to find these people. I have to track them down. It was written like 70 years ago by Corporal Irvin G. Fleming,
Starting point is 00:45:43 who's in the Army, he was sent away, and is addressed to Mary Lee Cribs. That's how they had to talk to each other. They had to send letters and hope to God they got there. Oh, yeah. And in the note, he says, hey, I haven't heard from you in five months, and my time is passing by very slowly here. When I do return home, it'll be the happiest day of my life. And he's like, he'd already asked her to marry him before. And apparently she said yes.
Starting point is 00:46:05 So upon return, he was hoping that they would still be able to get me. married, but they'd gotten in a little fight, which I think that's why Mary had written him for five months. Mary, you need to chill out. Dude's over there serving. Yeah, well, this is a very, very, very long time ago. Anyway, Rick is
Starting point is 00:46:21 hoping to track down these people. He's looked everywhere and he can't, but he's like maybe their kids or grandchildren. Like, he said, this is something so special that I want family to have it. That's cool. It'd be cool to find, like, your great-grandparents, your grandparents. But why is it in the toolbox? I probably saved him there.
Starting point is 00:46:37 I feel like you're hiding them in the toolbox. You don't want someone to see it. I feel like you put them in there to save them. Okay. Yeah. The toolbox is not a hide place to me. No? Because your wife's not going to go to the toolbox. Yeah, she's not going to go get the hammer out.
Starting point is 00:46:48 You're going to leave that in the garage or the shed. Unless you're your new wife. And this is what we've lost now. Like we don't, people years from now, they're not going to find our notes somewhere because nobody writes anything. Yeah, don't find my notes on my phone. Pick up milk. Write three pages. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:47:04 Well, that's why I don't want to delete some of my emails. Yeah, you keep doing that. Just in case. That's why. And then it's going to be hoarding. And I do that crap too. And then I got to finally just go Control A. Just let it go.
Starting point is 00:47:14 Just let it go, man. Delete. But then in two days later, you're like, oh, I need that email. I don't. I never have. No, I'm talking about special emails. Now, we understand Amy, like once from your mom. I'm sure.
Starting point is 00:47:27 Yeah, that's fine. You should just take those out and put them on a hard drive. Right, but from when Ben and I first got married, I still have them all. But you should keep that and put them on a hard drive and then delete all your email. And then maybe one day my kids can go through the hard drive. Okay. Hold on. The ones that you, when the marriage failed, so you got to get rid of that stuff.
Starting point is 00:47:44 Well, no. What's a failure, though? I mean, they're not together now, but I don't know there was a complete failure. She has two kids she loves. Yeah, I don't know. That she ended up being here. So, yes. We've had a lot of growth, and I just think that the emails could be fun to revisit,

Starting point is 00:51:07 First of all, there's so much to unpack. You can buy a tank on eBay? Yeah, like a real tank? Like, that's the first part. That's cool. Do you do buy it now? Is there an auction? Did they drive it over?
Starting point is 00:51:19 Exactly. How do you get it? Wow. A military enthusiast bought a tank on eBay and discovered $2.5 million in gold bars hidden inside one of the most unexpected and intriguing places where gold has ever been found. It's an ex-Iraqi army type 69 tank. It gives a lot of numbers on the kind of tank. it is no idea what that means, but he has a place he calls tanks a lot on his farm.
Starting point is 00:51:43 That's funny. And he told the people about it and they came and got the gold and he had to turn it in. And he goes, no, no. And he said, I didn't even get a finder's fee. What? He says he's not sure what happened to the gold and believe the authorities are still trying to track down the owners. He said he handed the gold over to authorities now seven years later because he bought this a while ago, which is now becoming the story, that he does not see the gold.
Starting point is 00:52:06 Somebody took that gold. Yeah. And if they couldn't find it, they have the gold. Yeah. But also they found gold in a tank. But also you can buy a tank on eBay. Can you see if you can find a tank on eBay right now? You want to buy one?
Starting point is 00:52:16 I don't think so. It's probably not gold in it. But I think I wonder what the price is on a tank. Wow. You can get like a rare World War II German tank, a small one used for it looks like $7,500. Oh, I thought I thought it could be more. This is a small one, though. And does it work?
Starting point is 00:52:36 Yeah. it probably doesn't move. I don't know that I want a German one from World War II. Well, you're not like supporting them. Yeah, it doesn't mean you're for the Germans. Well, I'm just saying. And then this guy, we've talked about the story a couple times over the last couple years. This guy has to remember his password.
Starting point is 00:52:53 He only has two more chances. He already lose $230 million. I remember this. In his Bitcoin account. He cannot remember his password. Why would you not save that on the computer? It locks them out forever. There has to be a forget-your password button.
Starting point is 00:53:04 There's not. There has to be. There's not on the phone. that one. All right, time for the corny. Let's go. The morning corny. What do you call an elephant that doesn't matter? What do you call an elephant that doesn't matter? An irrelephant.
Starting point is 00:53:19 Neerlephant. That's pretty good. That was the morning corny. If that would have been tomorrow in the investigative corny, we'd have done 90 seconds and not got it. Nope, not even. We'd have got 90 in. Amy, if I say Dr. Terry Dubro
Starting point is 00:53:36 Real Housewives, the husband. They're like the rich. She's like the richest housewife of the whole show. Salt Lake? No. No. I don't know. California. One of the California ones.
Starting point is 00:53:48 So, but he's like, for real plastic surgeon. Yeah, like he does that show. Doesn't he do botched or something? I don't know him. I just know him as the husband from Real Housewives. But he's on the Good Guys podcast and he's talking about hair transplants. We've been trying to get Eddie to go to Turkey to get a hair transplant. We've offered to pay for it.
Starting point is 00:54:06 Again, this is a very elite, prestigious plastic surgeon. Go ahead. Thoughts on people going to turkey for these hair implants? Very, very good. Okay. Turkey is really, you know, I'm not a big fan of medical tourism. I was on Nightline talking about medical tourism, the dangers of medical tourism. But turkey and hair transplants, they are good.
Starting point is 00:54:31 They know what they're doing. Really good. And it's cheap. I'm telling you, skilled. There's so many reasons. why not to do medical tourism. But hair transplants, what's the worst thing that could happen? You know, it didn't take.
Starting point is 00:54:42 Yeah, sure. Nobody's going to die from a hair transplant. C&I does all save the $25 grand. So, Eddie, we did the math on this. Do we remember the total number it was? Like, was it, $5,000 or something? Whatever it is, I will now say I will fund the whole thing. 100%.
Starting point is 00:54:58 Yeah. Flight, hotel accommodations. Whiting his wife going? Whomever he wants to go with him. And maybe a second person, too, just so he can get content. someone else? Yeah, like I would send like Kevin or something. Oh, got it, got it, got it. Yeah, it sounds like the only dangerous part is like the
Starting point is 00:55:12 travel. Yeah, yeah, going to the Middle East. And to Turkey it's not even dangerous. People do it all the time. Yeah, and they send you VIP transportation. You're not going to the Gaza strip. When they were bombing the other day in Turkey? In part, but there's a, there was shootings in Memphis. You're right. And in Kansas City, you're right. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:29 So, it looks like right now, I've offered $10,000. I'll pay it, I don't even to sponsor. I'll just I'm tired of kicking the can on it. I thought you forgot about this. I didn't. But when I heard this doctor, he makes a great point.
Starting point is 00:55:43 And he's for real. He's not someone that's like just to be famous. He says crazy stuff on the internet. You don't know that. How do you know that? Well, because his history, you look at his medical, all of his records. Not all of his records specifically. But you can see how long he's been doing what he does.
Starting point is 00:55:58 He's also unbodged. He's also like nightline calls him. And when you hear him, he does sound like very confident about turkey. And he's like, I don't tell people. to go and do medical tourism. And then he's like Turkey? I mean, they know what they're doing in Turkey. And he's still active.
Starting point is 00:56:12 So this is what I'm going to say. He did say, too, what's the worst thing that can happen? Dr. Terry Dubro has over 27 years of experience in the field of plastic surgery. He earned his BS and Psychobiology from the University of California, Los Angeles, his MS and epidemiology from Yale University and his MD from David Gavin School in Medicine at UCLA. So, have you talked to your wife about it? Oh, yeah. And what is her reaction?
Starting point is 00:56:38 She loves the idea. But she probably can't go because the kids. We have four boys, so like I don't think she just leave. Right. You would need somebody from here to go with you. Mm-hmm. Would you do this? Would you go home today?
Starting point is 00:56:53 And if the answer is no, just say no, so we can kill this bit. But if you're willing to do it, we need to see what all the specifics are, meaning how long you need to be gone. If we send two people, what that total dollar amount would be, what everything. Get me a number. And if, Amy, if you don't mind, I'm going to have you do the accounting on that,
Starting point is 00:57:12 you and Mike? You don't want lunchbox to do it? I don't. Okay. Because he'll put in like a 20% finder's fee for him. I can't believe we're going to pay all this for a hair transplant. We wouldn't even send me to the Super Bowl. But hey, you do it, me.
Starting point is 00:57:22 Well, I don't need drip. You know, to go to Turkey. Yeah, you don't need drip. I don't need clothes to go to Turkey. We'll take all, we're going to do content the whole time. You're gone in there. Yeah, because. You've seen that TikTok where people are flying on the airlines
Starting point is 00:57:34 and everyone's coming back from Turkey? scars in their heads? I originally did the all-in. I know, but it's like, but how long is he going to have to be in a hotel? And not like a... Okay, but they include a three-night stay in a five-star hotel accommodation, and that's included in the 5500. That's all in.
Starting point is 00:57:50 That's, okay, so here's what you get. Just do this. Find me, add one more person tomorrow. Come with me, give it to me tomorrow. All one person and how long it says they need to stay in a, in the hotel for like recovery. Yeah. I need you to, because I will pay for all of it.
Starting point is 00:58:06 Just me If you'll go and do this Man I haven't even thought about this In my mind I'm like this is never going to happen And now here I am sitting again At the crossroads being like Should I go?
Starting point is 00:58:19 You know who I saw Had hair transplanted He talks about it openly Is Dave Portnoy? Yeah He got hair I don't know that he went to Turkey But the barstool guy
Starting point is 00:58:25 Yeah Yeah and so He's like yeah I got it was great He's got good hair Joe Buck did too man Yeah but they took that from his butt What
Starting point is 00:58:32 You probably got plenty there I don't want butt hair On my Why no one's gonna know the difference Yes, it's different. He talks about that? Yeah. I don't know about that.
Starting point is 00:58:39 I think they took it from the back of his head. Oh, maybe he just said back. Backside. Oh, probably back side of his head. Can you please have me an answer tomorrow? Yes. Again, I will pay for all of it. Amy, you come with the numbers.
Starting point is 00:58:55 Eddie, you come with it if you can. And as long as there's not some little hiccup that I didn't know about, I think we should do it and plan it and send you to Turkey, the country of Turkey. There's no fine print there. No. There's no fine part on my end. Right, okay. I mean, Eddie, if this goes well, Turkey may hire you to be the voice.
Starting point is 00:59:11 The hair ambassador. Talk to your, this is serious. I know, I'm not joking. We're not kicking the can down the road again for another month. I get it. Tomorrow or nothing. Okay. After tomorrow.
Starting point is 00:59:20 And they'll be like, ugh, I can't go unless you get me new drip. I'm not doing that. After tomorrow, we're not bringing it up again ever again. Okay. But I was talking to my wife and I was like, I'll pay for the whole, I think it's worth it for show content. I think you'll get the hair. It'll be a big event People will listen to
Starting point is 00:59:37 And we'll have a ton of show content That we can post Like videos of you I think it'll be worth it I mean I think it'd be so worth If it looks so ridiculous Oh my goodness You're gonna
Starting point is 00:59:43 Here's the deal You're going to look ridiculous For a little bit And then Yeah and as long as you don't like deny it What's the little bit? You're not gonna be able to research it Research it
Starting point is 00:59:52 We're not doing it here And you probably won't be able to wear a hat Or why Do you get it He's trying to talk you out of it Because he doesn't want you You don't want you to have Like something
Starting point is 00:59:58 He does need to be prepared That when he's on the airplane Everybody's gonna know He just got a hair. Who cares? Everybody's going to know. Millions people are going to know you got one from the show.
Starting point is 01:00:06 I'm not going to be the only one in the plan that got a transplant. We're all going to be like, uh, hey, tomorrow. Okay. Tomorrow. I'll find out. Your wife signed off on this?
Starting point is 01:00:15 Yeah. Wow. Because I was like, what do you think if I just paid for all myself? Yeah, why does his wife care if she, you go to Turkey? That's what I'm saying? Yeah, it's her money.
Starting point is 01:00:23 Yeah, I was like, and I'll pay for all of it instead of getting a sponsor. And she was like, what's the benefit? I said, can you imagine the content we would get from this? Oh, it wasn't like Eddie's hair? No, got it. But she also thought it would be great
Starting point is 01:00:34 because she goes, she's the one who brought up Dave Portnoy. She goes, people get hair transplants and admit it all the time. It's not even like something bad. She said, Dave Portner got a hair transplant talks about it. So tell Eddie, if you wants to do it, go do it. But you know her, she's like, feel confident. Either way, live your life. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:00:48 Okay, tomorrow. You heard the doctor. Yeah, I heard them loud and clear. You heard this doctor. Yeah, two doctors said. Boom. Okay. All right.
Starting point is 01:00:55 Tomorrow, Bobby Bone Show. What? Nothing. You looked at me like you had something to say. I'll have the total, but I have the total now. No, I need you add another person. And we need more research. And I need more research.
Starting point is 01:01:06 And like typical, I just need you to come with stuff. Five star. Stop killing the bit for tomorrow. Amy's like, I want to give you now. No, we need the bit tomorrow. Well, I will make sure it is accurate. And research that hotel too. Make sure it really is five star.
Starting point is 01:01:17 It's going to be a lot. A lot of what? Like, well, I mean, this is that Bobby's investing in you and you're going to get your hair back and get confidence. Like you're going to be like, this is gratitude. What do I have to do, though? Like. But you would think you would be like, oh, my. gosh, I'm going to have this paid for.
Starting point is 01:01:31 Like, my best friend's going to pay for me to go. That's really cool, but it's not like I'm going down the street to do it. I'm going to Turkey. I could die in Turkey. You're not going to die in Turkey. They have this so... It's like when you go to Mexico, but you go to one of the resorts. Not doing that. Oh, oh. Like Cancun. Oh, yeah. Like my friends in Cancun right now. They for sure want to make
Starting point is 01:01:48 sure that people are protected to get there because that's a whole industry that would die off. Yeah. If it wasn't safe. Okay. All right. Tomorrow. We're back. Tomorrow. You know, If you know me, that I know, I don't know everything as far as like, what's bigger than us,
Starting point is 01:02:05 what's greater than us, what's that we can't. And so sometimes like these very respected aviation experts or air force pilots or people in the military that are above even flying, they're like, listen, we saw something and anything like we've ever seen before. And so there are people that I respect and trust that tell me that there's stuff that they can't even explain. So how am I going to be like, I know? It's for sure not a spacecraft.
Starting point is 01:02:33 It's for sure not Russia. It's for sure. I don't know, but I wanted to play you this. So his name's New England Dad on TikTok, and this is him talking about it, but then he plays clips from in Boston, this pilot who's flying, I believe, a commercial airliner,
Starting point is 01:02:47 and something happens while he's flying. Here we go. It looks like it's a bright orange he thinks, and it looks like having, I don't know, it's bashing towards it. But it is definitely not an airplane. It doesn't have the strobe lights or anything on a ship.
Starting point is 01:03:10 just this bright orange gone on and off. Yep, this definitely wasn't an airplane. So here's somebody who lives in the air and who says at one point, that's not something that can happen with the physics that we know. So I'm not telling you to explain it, but go for it. Explain it than smart guys. You two, especially. It's kind of gutsy, though, to, like, get on the radio and tell someone you saw something like that.
Starting point is 01:03:32 But they're supposed to report anything. Yeah. Oh, were they? Yeah. But what if it's a reflection? Exactly. What happened to me was I saw exactly. exactly what he's explaining, but it was my wife's phone.
Starting point is 01:03:42 You were in your bedroom, and it was a window. Okay, what if some light behind him's moving? He's in an airplane and he sees lights all the time. This is literally a pilot. Oh, so pilots are the smartest people in the world. No, but they're the ones that are up there. They're able to look around, observe, see things. They see planes like crazy.
Starting point is 01:04:01 I'd say as many hours as they spend in the sky. How do you know this guy has a lot of hours? Exactly. Because they're a commercial pilot. He could be a second flight in his life. It's not. Educated guess. But you guys are doing a lot of if, if, if.
Starting point is 01:04:12 You too? No, I'm not. What I'm saying is this is a commercial pilot. There's no if it's a second flight ever. Great. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to be a commercial pilot. Well, but you do have to have a certain amount of hours in the air. Okay.
Starting point is 01:04:26 So, like, he does have a lot of time in the sky. And I'm sure he knows when he sees something unusual. This is headline UFO in Boston. Do you want to hear a bit of it again? Hey, so to clarify, though, that's not New England Dad, right? New England Dad just posted about that. Yeah. And so I just wanted to give him his credit. You have to have at least 250 hours in the year to become a commercial pilot. And that's a lot. Which is a ton. Including 50 hours across country flying and a hundred hours of pilot and command time.
Starting point is 01:04:51 And how much alien watching do you do? Well, that's the thing. It's such different. He's been up and he's seen everything over all these hours. When he finally see something that doesn't make sense, he's going to say something. One more time. At 180 degrees in like a second. It looks like it's a bright. It looks like having, I know, it's bashing towards us. but it is definitely not an airplane. It doesn't have a strobe lights or anything on. It's just this bright orange going on and off. He's also saying it's the beginning. You're going to think I'm crazy
Starting point is 01:05:29 because he's never reported anything like this. All I'm saying is, I'm not saying that's Little Green Men. I'm just saying there are things that we can't understand or we don't understand what's happening. You guys don't know what you're talking about. I love how you put something on TikTok so you're like, oh, see there's aliens. Where's the co-pilot?
Starting point is 01:05:47 Like, he's like, I'm not saying. Exactly. Copilot didn't time to say, yep, I saw it. You guys can't invent scenarios about co-pilots not saying anything. He didn't say it. Yes, because the pilot's the one who's radioing in. It's not a party line. But you don't think they're going to be like, hey, Jim, sit next to him.
Starting point is 01:06:00 Did you see it also? They cut that part out where he's like, no, man, this guy's been drinking. Also, I think this is a good time to practice listening. He doesn't listen. He just yells over things. Right. Lunchbox, what you just repeated back is not what Bobby said. Bobby didn't say, oh, here's this random guy.
Starting point is 01:06:15 And, oh, look, now there's aliens. He said, here's a guy explaining something. that he's never seen before, and we don't know what we don't know. That's what Bobby said. He didn't say it equals aliens. No, he did. He said there's aliens. No.
Starting point is 01:06:27 Okay, so he saw a light in the sky. Cool. Great. We can both agree. He saw a light in the sky. What does it prove? Something physical in the air that was able to defeat whatever version of physics that we have. Whoa, how do you know it can defeat the physics we have?
Starting point is 01:06:41 Because he said that. He said the physics? He said it couldn't be an airplane. He didn't say anything about physics. But I'm not playing the club again because you don't listen to things. I think he said physics He said it went 180 degrees And things can't go
Starting point is 01:06:54 Can't stop and go 180 both ways that fast Based on the physics that we know Could have been a laser pointer Exactly I mean he didn't say it was a machine Do we know how Or like a physical thing What it doesn't matter
Starting point is 01:07:05 I'm not fighting for green men I'm saying either there's technology Way advanced that we have no idea what it is And they're up trying crap Which they probably wouldn't at that time of the evening Right over Boston Do we know his altitude? Over 10 feet
Starting point is 01:07:20 Over 10? I have no idea Obviously It doesn't say anything about that Does that make a difference Amy? Well 10 feet I've never seen it on making that up 10 feet Oh I'm just curious yeah
Starting point is 01:07:30 I think I was curious like how high in the sky Was he? Because if it's a laser pointer Yeah I would assume at a certain altitude lasers don't affect you I was thinking that too how high in the sky was he No no you're thinking a different high in the sky Eddie But it's obviously something bigger than a single laser beam
Starting point is 01:07:45 By what he's describing But anyway, my point is we don't know what we don't know. So you guys need to stop acting like, you know what we don't know. I don't know anything that I don't know. Exactly. You don't know. I don't know. And I'm not saying I do know, but you guys are like, you know what it's not for sure. But you can't.
Starting point is 01:08:01 You can't. You can't. But you can. You can if your mind is small. Oh, so you're the big brain guy because you believe some. No, no. I don't believe anything. I believe that anything that we don't know, we don't know.
Starting point is 01:08:16 therefore we can't assign what we know into something we have no idea what it is. See, I'm not going to take the word of some pilot that I've never met that could be one of these wackos that is an alien believer that is trying to promote something because he believes in aliens. There's no promotion. No, no, but I'm saying he's up in the sky, so he says this because maybe he believes in aliens and he's trying to push the narrative.
Starting point is 01:08:37 Risking his job? You think he's going to be like prank calling back to the air tower? Hey, guys, is Marge there? Marge, too. You know, is fridge running? Better go catch it. You're saying he's above that, but we just talked about police that were prank calling other precincts. So yes, people do that kind of stuff.
Starting point is 01:08:55 But people, they know who this guy is. Here's the difference and I'll crush that analogy. Those police were calling as not themselves. This guy's calling as himself in the middle of his job. So that argument. But they can't fire him for saying he saw something. They wouldn't be able to fire him. There have been pilots that have said many times they've been told when they see something,
Starting point is 01:09:12 don't report it because they will then get taken. out because people will go we don't need you saying you saw weird things. We've talked about that too where pilots like we didn't feel comfortable saying it then but now we're going to say it a little more because it's starting to be released slowly by the government.
Starting point is 01:09:29 Russia, China, aliens, who knows? Nobody. Us, but it ain't going to be happening over Boston at a time when things are all flying around. That's all. I hope an alien abducts you one day. I would be great. I would love it. No, you wouldn't.
Starting point is 01:09:44 I hope they probe you in every other. That'd be great. Come bring it on. I wanted a problem in every hole. Wait, why do you want that? No. He just told the aliens, bring it on. Hey, aliens, bring it on. Let's go.
Starting point is 01:09:54 Oh, no. All right. A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care what you're saying. Yep, that's me. Cliver Taylor the 4th. You might have seen the skits, the reactions,
Starting point is 01:10:05 my journey from basketball to college football, or my career in sports media. Well, somewhere along the way, this platform became bigger than I ever imagined. On a recent episode of the podcast Money and Wealth with John Hobriant, I sit down with Tiffany
Starting point is 01:11:03 the budgetista Aliche to talk about what it really takes to take control of your money. What would that look like in our families if everyone was able to pass on wealth to the people when they're no longer here. We break down budgeting, financial discipline, and how to build real wealth, starting with the mindset shifts. Too many of us were never, ever taught. Financial education is not always about, like, I'm going to get rich.
Starting point is 01:11:29 That's great. It's about creating an atmosphere for you to be able to take care of yourself and leave a strong financial legacy for your family. If you've ever felt you didn't get the memo on money, this conversation is for you to hear more. Listen to Money and Wealth with John O'Brien from the Black Effect Network on the I'd Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.
Starting point is 01:11:56 Will Farrell's Big Money Players and IHeart Podcasts presents Soccer Moms. So I'm Leanne. Yeah. This is my best friend, Janet. Hey. And we have been joined at the hips since high school. Absolutely. Now a redacted amount of years later, we're still joined at the hip,
Starting point is 01:12:10 just a little bit bigger hips, wider. This is a podcast. We're recording it as we tailgate our youth soccer games in the back of my Honda Odyssey. With all the snacks and drink. Sidebar. Why did you get hard seltzer instead of beer? Oh, they had a bogo. Well, then you got it. Do you want a white collar or something here?
Starting point is 01:12:26 Just take it. What are y'all doing? Microphones? Are you making a rap album? Oh, I would. Come on. I would buy it. Cuts through the defense like a hot knife through sponge cake.
Starting point is 01:12:38 That sounds delicious. Oh, you're lucky. I'm not a drug. You're lucky I'm not an alcoholic. You're lucky I'm not a killer. I love this team and I'm really trying to be a figure in their lives that they can rely on. Oh. Listen to soccer moms on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Starting point is 01:13:00 It's time for the news. Bobby's big. Stories. Amy, give me your reaction to this. This is from the Journal of School Psychology. I just want a headline reaction. experts say not to work so hard at keeping your kids entertained. Okay.
Starting point is 01:13:17 Yeah. I think that I'm down with that. Eddie? I think it's good for their creativity and their curiosity to figure out how to end the dream themselves. I get what would be good for them, but is it good for you? Yeah, it's good for me. I don't have to worry about it. Yeah, I love it.
Starting point is 01:13:31 That's a great idea. Do they run wild then? They will, but like Amy said, then they'll go outside and they can be creative and do other things. Being bored is actually good for them and allows their mind to go to work and expand in so many different ways. Child development experts stressed that boredom is normal, natural, and healthy. Bortem can offer a valuable learning opportunity. Yeah, but when they're bored, they pick on each other and they start fighting. I just feel like it would be trouble, but what do I know?
Starting point is 01:13:54 No, I mean, I feel like all of us, we need to be bored because then we don't appreciate the fun. I am most creative when I'm bored. It's hard for me to get bored because I overextend myself a lot of times. But if I can get bored, I have great idea. Oh, I got to, I was bored the other day. I remember the last four times I've been bored. board over like the last six months. I was bored the deck in for the brilliant idea.
Starting point is 01:14:15 I can't share it with you now. But I still laugh out loud at this idea I came up with. That's how much I think I'm funny. Well, when are you going to share it? Yeah. You never know. Will we ever see the product? You never know.
Starting point is 01:14:25 The hardest working city in America is Detroit. Washington, D.C. D.C., Irving, Texas, Cheyenne, Wyoming, Virginia Beach, Anchorage, Alaska, Norfolk, Virginia, Dallas, San Francisco, Denver, and Austin, Texas are the hardest working cities. Nine of the top 20 were Texas cities. The biggest diet mistake people make. This is from the FASEB Journal, a research publication.
Starting point is 01:14:48 It's stepping on the scale every single day. Health experts say that checking your weight daily can be discouraging because of the number and that number on the scale can be artificially high depending on things like water retention or even bathroom frequency. And if you hop on the scale and you notice you're three pounds heavier than you were the day before, even though you ate right or whatever, that it could actually affect you mentally. But it's not the accurate representation of what your body is doing, especially if you're doing it in a healthy way.
Starting point is 01:15:15 They say check the scale about every one and a half weeks if you're trying to lose weight. And I do my... But when I do, I do like three times a day. Right. And we've encouraged you not to... I know, I know, I know. We still need to do that bit with lunchbox where he eats something, four pounds of something. Three?
Starting point is 01:15:32 Whatever it is. Five pounds, whatever you know. It's a great bit. Where we want to see if he eats three pounds of food and steps right on the scale. We weigh him? Then he eats three pounds of food, then he steps on the scale and he eats exactly three pounds more. Why wouldn't he be? We got to figure this out.
Starting point is 01:15:47 I know. I'm ready. I know. We just keep punting it for some reason, but we will do it soon. Do you want to look tough? Yes. I already do. Do this.
Starting point is 01:15:57 No, you don't. Oh, what do you think they say? Do this if you want to look tough. Mean mug. Flex. Okay, okay. Oh, I got it. What?
Starting point is 01:16:04 Look at yourself in the mirror. Make faces like, like, get a tattoo. Oh. A recent study found that men and women agree. that a man with tattoo is looking more masculine, dominant, and aggressive. A tattoo also makes a man look more muscular regardless if he goes to the gym or not. A tattoo gives off a sense a danger. Danger.
Starting point is 01:16:20 It depends what the tattoo is. I get a butterfly tattoo. That's not going to do that. But is it a butterfly with a knife in its hand? That's different. That's from personality and individual differences. The research journal. I don't even think about all the tattoos that I have because I have.
Starting point is 01:16:33 That's not giving us dangerous vibes. Those are not dangerous by. It's right now. Your mouth has already needed to be shut And right now, somebody go shut it from her Eddie and I were somewhere And I think it was Eddie And I was already there
Starting point is 01:16:47 And if it wasn't Eddie, it was somebody else And they were like, hey, he should already be here And the guy with all the tattoos And it was me. Was that you? That sounds familiar. I don't remember. And I was like, people say that about me.
Starting point is 01:16:57 I'm the guy with all the tattoos Because I don't even think about it Because I am not tough looking at all. But if I'm known like that, you know. Tattoo guy. But that person didn't say the tough guy. No, but still, it was the guy with all the tattoos.
Starting point is 01:17:11 Amy, why do you have to... Hey, shut her mouth again. This guy that never played the lottery before, first ticket he ever purchased won $500,000. That's awesome. So dumb. Have you got a church yet? No, I haven't found a good church.
Starting point is 01:17:26 I'm looking for the perfect service. You were about to say you at the time. No. I have to have a feeling. I have to have a calling from the Lord. And you don't want to just go unless you have a calling, right? There was a story where one was like she got her. message at church, shared the sermon and was motivated her. She went and bought a ticket. She won.
Starting point is 01:17:43 We told Lunchbox, he's tried every other way. Go to church and listen for something specific and then go take that to the gas station and buy a lottery ticket. Yeah, you know what I should have gone with Ash Wednesday because it's a little bit shorter of a service. That's what you're looking for? Well, you can walk out any time. I mean, they don't like handcuff you in. That's good point. You know what I mean? As soon as you're inspired. That's from UPI.I. 500,000 bucks first ever ticket. A domino's worker was caught picking their nose and then wiping it on the dough. Oh, oh, no. This is terrible, man. Man? Oh. Oh. That's like when I saw the guy at the
Starting point is 01:18:16 Oh. Oh. I can't think about it. They had to put out an apology and notice regarding inappropriate conduct by our employee. The post goes on to say the nose picker at the time as a part-time employee and the video was filmed in store after hours. They destroyed the dough. Yolk. Sure they did. Ladd Bible. Ladd Bible. Oh. Oh, I don't know. That, you know, we do some, there's some pretty sad stories, but that one makes me feel the grossest. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:18:39 Disgusting, man. A guy claims to get 100 free McDonald's meals by using chat GPT. Ready for this? So what he does is he goes and he steals the receipts. Not steal. They're there. People will leave them on the table. And he would take them.
Starting point is 01:18:52 And then he would go and have the chat GBT AI fill out the surveys, feedback surveys. And then he would get free meals sent to him. Oh, that's not bad. I see that. I get that. That's cool. That's from the New York Post. I mean, no one's going to fill out those surveys anyway, right?
Starting point is 01:19:06 Some people do. Really? Very few. I don't know that I ever have. never. But that's not bad. It's not like he's stealing. I don't consider that stealing. I don't consider it. Well, I don't consider it stealing either. I think it's taking advantage of a system that's not meant to be used in that way, but it's like a loophole type thing. But that people do that all the time. But is he dishonest about his name? Like, does he lie on the, does he say his real name every time? Or does he go like Chuck Smith? Willie Johnson. But also if it's a, it's a way to figure out how satisfactory the service was.
Starting point is 01:19:37 No, no, no. But he's lying. It's Chechnie. I know he's lying. So the whole thing, yeah, it's not. So that would make it not. Oh. Right. So you're looking down on it? I think it's a creative way to get some free food.
Starting point is 01:19:49 It is creative, but they're not getting accurate feedback. And it's, it is dishonest, but I won't say it's stealing. It's shady. I'm going to take it one level less. It's shady. So does he get in trouble for this? I don't know. He's bragging about it on a podcast.
Starting point is 01:20:03 So probably not. I don't know. Yeah. All right. Thank you. Does your cousin do a podcast on your network? Yeah, it's called Soul Sessions. Yeah, no, I know what it's called.
Starting point is 01:20:11 We had her on, but I'm just like, I didn't know that it was on your network. Yeah, it is. That's pretty cool. Yeah, I have, there's six women. Amy's podcast was on, Amy's cousin, who's the psychic, was on with us way earlier this morning, and then we're going to load up a whole special today talking with her. And I didn't know, I knew that she did a podcast, but I don't know it was on your network. So yeah, go check it out.
Starting point is 01:20:32 It'll be up on our podcast feed today, Bobby Bone Show. But it's us with Amy's cousin who is a psychic. medium, but more like a, what does she say she is? She's like a spiritual intuitive. Yeah, that's what I was saying. Soul Surfer. But Morgan, you did her podcast, right? Yeah, she did. She did like a reading on Morgan. Yeah, and she told Morgan she was going to meet her husband by the end of last year. I think that was on this show, wasn't it? Or was it on that her show? No, so, but we shared it on the show. We talked about it for a little bit. But yeah, I didn't remember that husband. No, no, maybe you met him. It didn't say you were going to marry him or get with them right then. You
Starting point is 01:21:03 might have met him somewhere. Yeah, she said he didn't live in Nashville. So you could have been on a trip somewhere and met some dude and you don't even know, he'd come back around. And Ray never followed through with getting his guy from Boston or whatever. No, Ray followed through. Ray pulled through on that one. He did. Yeah. They were texting.
Starting point is 01:21:19 Did you go out with them? No, but he still may come here. But you met him last year through Ray. Yeah. There you go. And you're not wearing your glasses? No, I'm good. Are you vertigo done?
Starting point is 01:21:28 I'm like 90%. I feel really good now. So I don't have to wear my hipster glasses until it happens again. That was crazy. How did you get out of it? She's been doing exercise on me. I've had to do the Epley maneuver three different times now and another maneuver, which is actually really painful.
Starting point is 01:21:43 It's like a stunt man. You know, we did the Epley maneuver. Or a pilot. Yeah. Yeah, and it's super painful. Because the maneuver induces the vertigo again. So you have to go through it again. So, yeah, so when it happened the last time,
Starting point is 01:21:54 she was like, I'm pretty positive. I cleared it. So I feel at 90, but now we got to fix my balance because for whatever reason my eyes. The eyes and ears cues aren't sending to my brain properly. Well, you don't look near as cool. day because your glasses aren't on but I'm glad to hear you're healthier. Dang, I looked cooler with those, so I should put it back on.
Starting point is 01:22:11 Yeah, you like white cool. Yeah. All right, thank you. That's the news. Those were Bobby's B. Stories. Two kids got their first scholarships to play Division I cornhole. If your kids said they want to go to college to play cornhole, how would you feel about that?
Starting point is 01:22:26 Act like there are no scholarships. Oh, no scholarships. Oh, no. Okay, then no. Okay, what are you doing? What are you doing with your life? Wait. But the first is really good.
Starting point is 01:22:34 I think, I think as a parent. There's no future in that. There's no future in that. Go to anything. It's like, Okay. Hey, hey, dad. No, no, if they came to me, like, let's just say they came to me.
Starting point is 01:22:43 So, Dad, I'm not going to go to college. But professional, I am pursuing a cornhole. Like, I'm going to go try to be in the pro cornhole league. I would say, you're a moron. But whatever. You call your kid that? Yeah. But I guess you only call them that if they are that.
Starting point is 01:22:58 Okay. But you'd feel like they were that. Yeah, I'd be like you're a moron. But at the same time, that's fine. If you don't want to pay for college, that's cool with me. So two kids from college. Colorado just became the first college athletes ever to get scholarships to play Division I Cornhole. Now, that would be cool if you're able to get a scholarship to do that.
Starting point is 01:23:14 But what if you're pursuing a scholarship to do that? And there's almost none given out. No. You're wasting your time. Like, why not? You would be better off getting an academic scholarship. Study harder. They're cornhole prodigies.
Starting point is 01:23:28 I mean, that's pretty cool. They won their first ever high school championship together in 2021. Then another year later on National Signing Day last week. They signed letters of intent to play cornhole for Winthrop University in South Carolina. They wore the hats. The school has unbelievable. They were going to, they had incarnate word. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:23:47 Texas A&M. Winthrop. And they're like, Winsthrop. The school hasn't said how much the scholarship is for, but it's not a full ride. Okay. So it's probably about five bucks. No. There's no way there.
Starting point is 01:23:56 How many colleges have a cornhole team? If your kid says I want to really play and focus on cornhole, go to college and get a partial scholarship, what would you say? Yes. No. No. Only on the weekends.
Starting point is 01:24:12 No. Like, dude. They had state championship. You guys are forgetting about that. I've seen it on TV. Me too. I understand. They can they get bowling?
Starting point is 01:24:19 But can this go somewhere with a sponsorship? Yeah. Yeah, if you're really good, I guess. Like the guys I've seen on TV, they have like all those patches all over their shirts. I'm terrible at Cornhole. It's hard. They also call it bags. They also call it.
Starting point is 01:24:33 There's a few names for it, right? That's about. Not it. Stick it in the hole. What's washers? Well, Amy. Amy. We're not talking about what you called.
Starting point is 01:24:39 Amy. That's a different game. Nine news. Washers. That was fun. Yeah, but that's not the same game. No, man. The washers, like, you get a real washer, like the ones that come with screws or whatever,
Starting point is 01:24:49 and then you try to make it in a little, like, golf size hole. That one's cool. Bag toss. We never played cornhole growing up. We played horseshoes, some, but we never played. Cornhole came later. It was almost like when we were in college when people started playing cornhole. Next thing they need to have is beer pole.
Starting point is 01:25:05 It's called bean toss, soft horseshoes, Indiana horseshoes, corn toss, and beanbag. What? I mean, I would rather my kid get a beer pong scholarship. No. Like seriously. Lobby Bone Show. Boney Head. Story of the day.
Starting point is 01:25:20 This story comes us from Washington, D.C. A Walgreens in Washington has been robbed six times since last July. Oh. So they're like, man, we're going to hire a special security guard. They put them in the store, and the guy comes in to rob it again. And they take him down. They start going through his phone. He had been planning it every day with the manager who would text him.
Starting point is 01:25:41 Hey, now's a good time to go. The manager of the Walgreens would do that? Yeah. Wow, inside job. He was saying, hey, he's a good time to come in. Come rob it. It's just me. That's crazy.
Starting point is 01:25:52 How they get the guy's code to his phone? Held it up to his face? I don't know. That's funny. That's probably why. Yeah, that's hilarious. That's hilarious. I'm lunchbox.
Starting point is 01:26:00 That's your bonehead story of the day. Going up very soon on our Bobby Bowie and show a podcast feed are special with Amy's psychic cousin Amanda. Now here's the thing I'll say that I've also learned from Amanda is that it's not the traditional way I think of a psychic that goes, I can predict who's going to win a baseball game. It's not that. The spiritual intuitive is what she calls herself. That makes more sense to me on what she claims she does.
Starting point is 01:26:28 Like she can like see people feel, do I believe that even? if I'm going to bet, probably not. But also, there are a lot of things I have no clue about that I can't act like I know, honestly. So, but she's on. We do a whole like 40 minutes special with her. You know what I learned? That we all have, kind of have her powers.
Starting point is 01:26:48 All of us. Yeah, everybody. That's pretty cool. Well, she's trying to say that she's not necessarily special, but she's able to tap into, like, say if we have different levels of consciousness, she can go higher. Don't you feel like lunchbox sometimes you, like, you feel like something's going to happen, like you have an instinct, and then it does happen?
Starting point is 01:27:08 Yeah, that's why you bet on a game. Okay, not even game. Again, I'm talking about back to basics of that version of the psychic. So we asked, like, will scuba finish his script that he's been talking about? He's just kind of exhausted, so he doesn't have the heart space and the creative space. Plus, there's a little bit of fear, scuba, that, oh my gosh, this isn't really going to mean anything or it's not going to matter. So it's taking some time out. to really get true to that dream, that calling.
Starting point is 01:27:35 I don't even know Amanda. She nailed it completely. I am exhausted. Here's one more. I'm not going to give you all of it because it's a whole special. Will Lunchbox get a new car this year? No. Now, Lunchbox, if you go out and buy a car next week,
Starting point is 01:27:49 just to prove me wrong, you know. But I don't think so. I think it's next year. And then I wanted to talk about Little Green Men, aliens, except they're probably not Little Green Men, but for the sake of the conversation, Will we find out if anything exists in the next couple of years? It's out there, but it gets covered up by mainstream media
Starting point is 01:28:09 or pushed down by the government, the powers that be. I don't think there's going to be some big main event that discloses this. I think if you look for it, it's out there, and you can find credible people and see if you resonate with them. It's going to happen more as a consciousness shift, I believe, than an actual event. go listen to the podcast, Bobby Bone Show, but it's its own special. She was on for a few minutes,
Starting point is 01:28:36 but we have our own 40 minutes special with her. It's all up. You guys have a great day. We'll see you tomorrow. Bye, everybody. The Bobby Bones. A win is a win. A win is a win.
