Starting point is 00:02:43 Get anything done. Welcome to Wednesday show. Morning studio. Morning. All right, here we go. Eddie, you're up first. You got about 15, 20 seconds. Give us something here. Okay, so last time I told you that Randy Hauser is creeping into my top 10 list. Well, I have my top 10 list of country artists, my favorite of all time.
Starting point is 00:03:11 So yesterday morning, you just kind of threw out there. How's our top 10 ever? I think he's sneaked in there, yes. So I sat down, made a list, and he didn't just sneak in there. He's deep in the top 10 list. Here at his top 10 favorite country artists of all time, number 10. Starting with 10, Little Texas. I was in their fan club, big fan.
Starting point is 00:03:28 Do you have to pay for that? It was like a $10 a year fee kind of thing. When you're a kid? Oh, dude, it's huge. Yeah. What did you get in the Little Texas fan club? Like T-shirt. posters, signed posters.
Starting point is 00:03:38 Did you tell him that when he was in here? I haven't told him yet, no. I saw him at a concert. Tim Rushlow? Yeah, he came up to me. It was at Ben Rector's concert, the lead singer, Little Texas. He came up and sat down beside me, he's like, hey man, how's it going? And at first, it was dark.
Starting point is 00:03:50 And I didn't know who it was. And then I was like, I squinted at him. I was like, oh, what's up, Little Texas? I mean, Tim. All right, number 10, number nine. Number nine, Eric Church, the chief. Hey, and at number eight, here he is, Randy Houser, baby. You like Houser better than Church?
Starting point is 00:04:06 I do. I mean, church, I was a huge church fan, and I still like church, but Randy Hauser with this new album and this whole interview that he did, and then he got to act and stuff, that's pretty cool. Number eight, he's jumped. Okay, seven? Number seven, let's go Alabama, the band. No, not the state.
Starting point is 00:04:22 Not the football team. Not the state. Number six. Brooks and done, let's go, baby. Number five? Johnny Cash. I fell into a burning ring. Number four.
Starting point is 00:04:33 George Strait. Number three. The man, Willie Nelson. Number two. Tim McGraw. That's my dude. Number one. The greatest of all time, Garth Brooks.
Starting point is 00:04:50 Pretty solid list, right on brand. You got a lot of Texas in there. Yeah. From Little Texas to Willie. George. Alabama. No, it's Alabama, man. Okay.
Starting point is 00:05:00 We got to play for you earlier. All right, next time, here he is. Lunchbox, everybody. Amy, I feel bad for you. I feel like we give you a hard time about your driving. You're not a good driver. We tell you you're terrible. and I think that's really rude
Starting point is 00:05:10 You say you feel bad for her Then you just continued to rip on her Because you run into fire hydrants to walls You pop tires on curbs And then you're teaching your daughter how to drive Which scares me So I want to say maybe we're giving you a bad rap And so we're going to give you a chance
Starting point is 00:05:23 To test it out I made you a magnet to go on your car So people can call and report your driving Just like semi-drivers Is that our number? No. That's our show number It says how's my driving call? No way
Starting point is 00:05:35 I'm not putting up on my car I do it Amy. I'm not no Because you know how semi-drivers it says, how's my driving? It has a phone number. And Amy, you always talk about instances where people give you the finger. You're like, I don't think I did anything. Well, now we're going to find out how bad of a driver Amy is.
Starting point is 00:05:50 I can't. And so on the driving, it says 877-77-26-229, which is 77 Bobby. How did you make that? Just internet? Yeah, internet. How much? Like $17? You paid $17 for this.
Starting point is 00:06:06 Hey, that's a great. That's awesome. A little segment there. I mean, should I change the voicemail too to, hey, if you're calling to leave us a message great, or if you've seen somebody driving on the road erratically. Yes, you have to. I don't drive erratically. That's what I say.
Starting point is 00:06:19 You say you don't. So I want to, you know, you always say, oh, I don't do. I'm not that bad of a driver. Well, we're about to find out how bad of a driver you are. But then say someone is a listener and they see this magnet on my car. They're going to know it's me in my car and they're going to follow me home. No, they're not. Our listeners aren't crazy like that.
Starting point is 00:06:36 So this is what I think. She's not going to put it on today for no reason. There'll have to be something at some point that you win. Okay. But I think it's hilarious. And keep that in your back pocket. And you drive around with it for a week. A week.
Starting point is 00:06:52 Well, it depends. Maybe a year if you lose a big game. A day. Maybe it's a tattoo. Who knows? That's funny. What? It's awesome.
Starting point is 00:07:00 You're the one who brought up magnets on cars, though. Yeah, you're talking about getting your daughter one, so I thought I'd get you one. Yeah, no, I thought about like, hey, you know, teen driver, a driver that's learning. I can't remember the magnet, but it's for like learner's permit kids. And I put a magnet when she's in the car. Yeah. You've had a lot of struggles, though.
Starting point is 00:07:19 All right. Whatever, I'll put it on. I feel like it's a... How about after, that about the week after Thanksgiving? Like it. Why? I didn't lose anything. I didn't lose this week. All right, pick a number one to ten.
Starting point is 00:07:30 Launchbox. Four. Correct. All right. Yeah. Wow. Yeah. I did.
Starting point is 00:07:37 All he doesn't win, win, win. Thank you, Lunchbox. You're welcome. We'll revisit it. Up next year she is. Thank you, everybody. Go ahead. I feel like last week or so, I told you all about how my mom was showing me death because she flew, well, a cardinal flew into my back door and died.
Starting point is 00:07:55 And I was like, what is this message trying to be sent? Because my mom is a cardinal. You think she's a cardinal, yes. No, I feel like I see her in the cardinals. And like, they visit me at the right time. And that one was something about death. Well, I feel like now. she's visiting me again with something about life.
Starting point is 00:08:11 And she was having so much fun in my backyard, having this fun little bath and water and playing around and just looked so joyful. So either it was a message about life and enjoying the things. It's what I felt in a moment. Or it was a message about bathing, clinging. Like the bird was just cleaning themselves. Or like water is a conduit of like, you know, just like getting things out.
Starting point is 00:08:36 I saw a story that reminded me of Amy. What? posted it on my Instagram. In Asia, there was a Jesus statue, and the Jesus statue, all the sudden was, like, crying and had water coming off of it. And so all the people that lived in the village, and even the town outside of the village, they all gathered, and they saved the water, and they started drinking it. And so a lot of people got sick, because it turns out there was just a toilet that was broken that was over flooding. And they were all drunk. But they thought it was a sign because that statue was.
Starting point is 00:09:02 Okay, I would not drink water. That might be the funniest story you are a adult. You're talking about how about. No. Help a bird in your backyard. Totally different. That one is very ridiculous. But I was confused because the bird died, but then it came back to life.
Starting point is 00:09:16 No, different birds. Different birds, man. They send different messages from her mom. There's not one specific cardinal. Your mom's not one bird. She's many. Of course. Why am I so crazy to think your mom would be one bird, not many?
Starting point is 00:09:27 People see their loved ones in all kinds of things. Butterflies. You haven't you heard that? Yellow butterflies? Let me tell a story about this Jesus. It was toilet water. That's where they drink the water? It was broken toilet water.
Starting point is 00:09:39 You said one time your grandma's... But I didn't say I believed it. A guitar fell over. I know, but I never was like... And that was one time ever. I don't look for it. My grandma died and she gave me this guitar before she died. I remember right when she died and I was like, hey, I don't know if you can hear me
Starting point is 00:09:52 me. And then the guitar fell over. That's crazy. But even then I'm like... Well, I'm also kind of like... I probably propped it up wrong. Yeah. I feel the same way.
Starting point is 00:09:59 I believe that one more than the Cardinals, though. If Amy were to stand there and say, Cardinal, come land on my shoulder. now, send me a sign. And it did? You gotta believe it. Then we'd be in. Yeah. Otherwise, taking a back. It's okay to want to see messages. Absolutely, to want to, yes. But to believe that they're all messages is...
Starting point is 00:10:15 That's why I say, I bring it to y'all like saying, I don't know, this could be this. I don't know. You sound like you're saying, this is this. Okay, Ray, I'm ready. From Mount Pine, Arkansas, he's in the raging idiots band, and most of what's set on this show is unplanned. Bobby Bones. Thank you very much. Thank you very much. I finally watched episode one of Yellowstone. the new season's out. By the way, you can't watch it on the Paramount app. It's not there.
Starting point is 00:10:37 You have to watch it on Paramount plus the channel. So if you have cable on demand, I go, Hey, Yellowstone. I don't say, hey, Yellowstone. I just say Yellowstone. And then it pulls it up and you'll watch the first two. And so I watched the first one. And Laney, I watched Laney. Yeah, she goes it. Wilson. She shows up at the end of the episode and she actually has to act. Like real line. She has a real character. She's got like a romantic interest type thing. And I messaged her right after. I was like, I felt really awkward. when I first saw you because I'm like, please be good because I don't want to have to lie. And I don't have to lie.
Starting point is 00:11:07 She was good. That's awesome. I never thought she was acting. Even though I saw her, it's weird to see one of your friends up there doing that. But she was good. I'm excited to see what's happening because she has a real role on this show. And so it's good. I mean, listen, is the show itself starting to jump the shark?
Starting point is 00:11:23 Maybe. And it's not a spoiler because immediately when the show starts, it tells you this. But now that Kevin Costner's the governor, it's a little weird. All right. But we'll leave it. We'll leave that where it is. Thank you, thank you, thank you. That's what's up.
Starting point is 00:11:38 I don't think that's a spoiler, right? No, because I've already read about that. No, yeah. I don't watch it. And it's in all of the links that come up where they don't spoil stuff. If that's how the show starts, it's not a spoiler. Okay. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:51 Okay, good. All right, there you go. That's what's happening. Glad you guys are here. Let's open up the mailbag. You send an email and we read it on the air. It's something we call Bobby's Mailbag. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:04 Hello, Bobby Bones. My 17-year-old son had his driver's license for about a year, and it's been a constant headache. He was involved in a fender bender about three months in. Gladly everybody was okay and the damage was minimal. He also lost his key fob. We had to pay 300 bucks to get a new one. Now he got a ticket for speeding. My husband wants to punish him by making him work to earn to pay off the ticket, but I don't think that's enough. We did the same when he lost the key fob, and that didn't get through to him. I was inspired by Eddie's unique parenting methods and want to teach my son a lesson by making him walk to and from school for an entire week.
Starting point is 00:12:36 I like it. You live about three and a half miles from school. Oh my gosh. So it'd take him about an hour each way. He's 17. Here's the thing. Hold on. Let me finish.
Starting point is 00:12:48 Okay, okay. Would it be cruel to make them walk to school for a week? I'm open to you and other parents and your suggestions. I just need help. Sign mom who doesn't want to end up on the news. There's that email. Eddie, what are we going to say? These unique little parenting things
Starting point is 00:13:04 the only goal I'm going for in this is for them to do something that they will remember forever. Like, I messed up, but I remember my mom, my dad made me walk to school. Yes, this is a long walk. Sounds crazy. But he'll remember it and then he'll learn from it. And that's the whole point. You don't have to do it forever. Dude, one week, trust me, he's going to definitely take care of his key fob.
Starting point is 00:13:27 He's going to watch how he's driving. I think it's going to be effective. You're pro, her technique. I love it. Her idea. Okay. Here's the thing. He's 17.
Starting point is 00:13:33 One of his friend's going to pick him up. Yes, that's what I'm thinking. Go around the corner, call your friend. He's not going to walk it. That's fine, though. No, no, it's not. But you send the message that I'm serious. But it's not fine because his friend will pick him up.
Starting point is 00:13:44 They'll get a good laugh. They'll learn nothing from it. Okay. I guess if we follow him? If you make the deal that he has to walk it the entire way and he does find my iPhone while he's doing it, and you can track it the whole time. There you go. Now you're thinking, bones.
Starting point is 00:13:57 A whole week. Well, I'm not agreeing that that's the right thing. I'm saying if they do this, you got to make sure. Because you don't want to, then you're punishing yourself too. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. What I would do is I would say, look, the ticket was $200. You have five days here.
Starting point is 00:14:12 Every day that you walk, it's $50 off the ticket or $60 off the ticket, whatever gets you there. You want to walk to school the whole day? $60,000. Otherwise you pay it yourself. But he doesn't have the money so he ought to get a job. Or he'll walk it every day. Okay. Or he'll get the money somehow.
Starting point is 00:14:28 His buddy. Same buddy's going to pick him up. But I think it's fine if he pays his own ticket, right? That's what you're learning. But to walk it off at 60 bucks a day. But if you do all five days, I mean, that's it. That's six times five. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:41 That'll work. The thing is they're coming from like, hey, man, you're not driving right. You're losing your key fob. Like, as a driver, you're doing really bad. And now you have a ticket. So it's not only paying off the ticket. It's all of it. Dude, you're going to lose your driving privileges.
Starting point is 00:14:55 List the things you've done to your kids. Huh? What do you mean? Well, you stuck one kid in the bathroom made him listen to the song, Man in the Mirror by Michael Jackson. Yes, because if you want to me, make a change, it all starts with the Man in the Mirror. That's right. How long?
Starting point is 00:15:07 I don't remember. Maybe played the song 20 times. It seems to be a little shorter. And then he was like, I get it. I don't think he's ever listened to song again, but he understood what I was saying. And then another one is, one of them had bad grades in school, so I made him eat bologna sandwiches. Every meal. Yeah, it was only for about a week. Maybe two weeks. Every meal. But that was to show that if you don't work hard, you're not going to get, because he likes food. So if you don't work hard, you're not going to get what you want. You're not going to get fine foods. You're going to have to settle with bologna sandwich. You're not going to get Sonic. Correct.
Starting point is 00:15:38 You got to eat bologna sandwich. Which he loves Sonic. Who doesn't? I get it. To the to the mom who wrote this email, I think it's a fine idea. You know your kid. I think letting him pay it is acceptable because that's what real life is. But if he doesn't have it and he wants to work it off, I think making him walk to school is hilarious. Especially because it's not half a mile. It's three and a half miles. But you're right. And I would track it on iPhone. and I'd make them send check-in videos. Nice. And I'm cool with it.
Starting point is 00:16:07 Yeah, I knew it, bones. I knew you would be there. I'm cool with it. Anything that makes the kids, anything that gets them ready for life. That's right. Isn't that what it is? You want to give them scenarios to get them ready for life. There you go.
Starting point is 00:16:18 All right, well, that's it. I feel good about it. Let's close the mailbag there. We got your email and we read it on the air. Now it's about to close Bobby's mail bag. I want to talk about animals for a second with Brian. Swanson, who he will go and he will remove animals from your house and he frees them and it's a humane way. He doesn't kill them. He was on an episode of Breaking Bobby Bones with me. You go to
Starting point is 00:16:41 Animals Removed.com and see more about him. But I do, if it's okay, Brian, I'd like to talk about bears first. Do you know, do you have any experience with bears at all? Just that one. It ended up being just a teddy bear with the battery's dying, but other than that, not too much. We talk a lot about bears on the show, but we've never actually been attacked by a bear. But what do you think you should do if a bear comes up to you? What would you do? Would you run away, or would you be still and get big?
Starting point is 00:17:08 Well, first of all, I'd probably not put myself in a situation where I'd be in front of a bear. But if I did happen to come across one, you don't want to turn your back to it. You'd kind of make yourself look big. But again, don't pick it off in the same sense. You know, don't yell at it and antagonize it. Yeah, my first thing to do would be to make fun of it and then show up my back and run away. Make a yogi bird from it.
Starting point is 00:17:33 Yeah, for, hey, boom, boom! And then I'd take all running. What about snakes? If we run into a snake and there's a snake, I don't know, a foot in front of us and it's ready to, what do we do? Probably walk around it. Most of the snakes here we have, aren't going to come after you. Just don't step on it.
Starting point is 00:17:48 Should I show up my back and antagonize a snake? Yeah, don't poke at it with a stick or anything like that. You know, it'll be fine. As the weather gets colder, what animal, tend to start infiltrating our houses? Ah, yes, right now, squirrels, getting to the attic, skunks are getting into the crawl spaces, getting to your attic and crawl space. So, yeah, as it gets colder, they're all looking for that shelter, and our homes are nice for it.
Starting point is 00:18:21 Yeah, and right now we're dealing with foxes in my backyard, which I've been chronicling, and there were five or six of them, and so Brian, his team, put cameras back there to see the animals. Now, I don't live in a really rural area. Some people are like, well, up, you live in the woods, that's what you get. No, I don't live in the woods. And the cameras to catch the foxes, except these cameras have seen other animals in my backyard. Brian, what are these animals they've seen? Your property's got armadillos.
Starting point is 00:18:47 We've seen raccoons back there, possums. We have not seen the fox, and there's a good reason for that. You probably did have foxes, obviously you've seen them. but our cameras have caught coyotes and bobcats as well. In my yard! What? How do coyotes and bobcats get in my yard? Well, there's quite a few digging areas underneath your fence,
Starting point is 00:19:16 and then your gate's not like a solid gate, so they can just, you know, get through it. But how are there coyotes anywhere near, I mean, I don't, I guess I live near a road, a big road. There are cars. There's a school. Are coyotes just hanging around in people's yards? Or were they there because of all the other animals? Coyotes actually eat fox. So you don't have a fox problem anymore, I can guarantee that.
Starting point is 00:19:41 Now we have a coyote problem? Coyotes took care of that. Oh, man. Oh, man. Oh, your family of foxes. Hey, that's a circle of life, baby. We didn't do that. The coyotes got them.
Starting point is 00:19:50 Yep. Yeah, they will either, if they know the coyotes are around, they'll just leave. And they will not come back for sure. or the coyotes already got them. But what about me? Let's talk about me for a second. What if I'm in the backyard at night or in the morning, because we wake up really early,
Starting point is 00:20:09 any chance I get attacked by a bobcat or coyotes or my dogs? Your dogs, more likely, yeah. Not really you. They'll probably be runoff and say, here you're coming. But if your dog goes after them, then that could be an issue. Okay, but what do I do? What do we do? Well, we can.
Starting point is 00:20:28 You know, you've got a pretty big fence. So there is a way to keep them out. One of them involved in getting you a new gate. We'd either have to reconstruct your gate to where it won't allow animals to come in and out or get your new gate altogether. Yeah, it sounds expensive. I'll pass. Coyotes, welcome to the family.
Starting point is 00:20:48 Welcome home. Yeah, welcome to the family, coyotes. Hey, okay, but we don't have foxes anymore. That was the whole goal with getting Brian, and it worked. now apparently we have leopards and cheetahs and you can people can come through apparently take the safari tour and drive through
Starting point is 00:21:03 is this stuff only at night by the way do I have to worry about this in the daytime most of those animals we talked about are nocturnal so yeah only at night okay here's the deal with Brian if you're hearing noise in the attic across space they do free inspections to determine what it is and what damage they've caused they'll also figure out
Starting point is 00:21:18 how they're getting in and come up with a solution to keep them out and you know that's Brian animals remove.com where you know what the goal was it against the foxes and make them, well, now they are made, they're gone. Yeah, took care of that. They're gone.
Starting point is 00:21:31 They could have just laughed on their own. Yeah, right. Oh, yeah, maybe they saw the coyote and they're like, we out. You just did it. There's two coyotes right near the camera. Just chilling, just hanging out. And they're not baby coyotes either. They look like they killed a few things. Maybe a few humans.
Starting point is 00:21:49 All right, hey, Brian, I appreciate it. Thank you for all your help. And if, you know, what would eat the coyotes? What would make them go away. What's the next level up with an animal that will come and kill them? That would be humans. That would be the, you know, pretty cars. Cars. Yeah. Just drive around the yard.
Starting point is 00:22:06 Okay, got it. All right, Brian. Hey, hope you have an awesome day. Thank you for all your help. Everybody go go check out animals removed.com. Bye, Brian. All right, thanks, guys. Bye-bye. There you go. Cars. We've got coyotes and bobcats, but you know what I don't have? Boxes. That was a goal. All right.
Starting point is 00:22:20 It's time for the good news. With lunchbox. Stay home is something good. There's a tradition in Major League Baseball, whoever won the World Series last year, the new World Series champ, they get pizzas sent to their front office by the former champion. So this year the Astros won the World Series and the Braves were the defending champ. So they got online, found a local pizza shop in Houston, and it was Frank's Pizza in downtown Houston. And they ordered a bunch of pizzas and sent them to the Astros and said, congratulations. It's a way to support local business and to say, hey, you're the child.
Starting point is 00:22:56 camp now. What if the guy at the local? Oh, Frank was like, wait, this is this really brave? And you want me to deliver them to the Astros? Like, what? Is there some prank? Starting point is 00:26:50 It's a Bobby Bones show interviews. In case you didn't know. I'll talk to Jimmy Allen. You know I'm from Best Shot. Because when you smile, see. Make me want to. Girl, watch your name. What you're trade.
Starting point is 00:27:03 Freedom was a highway. And he's on the phone right now. On the Bobby Bone show now. Jimmy Allen. Jimmy, where are you right now? I am in Kansas City. Where are you at right now? Oh, wait.
Starting point is 00:27:20 Yeah, I know where you are. Yeah, I'm in a studio. Yeah, I'm in a studio. Hey, where are. Were you with Patrick Mahomes? Yeah, I was there at the game. Did you see him? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:28 You're friends with him? You talked for a little bit after the game. Yeah, I am. That's cool, man. I wish I had cool friends. I know. You do, Jimmy. Man, you do.
Starting point is 00:27:35 The list goes on and on. Yeah, they're not Patrick Mahomes, though. Yeah, we're definitely not as rich. I wanted to ask you about the CMAs for a second because you tweeted that you were sick and you weren't going to be able to make it. What happened there? Well, I was diagnosed with exhaustion. and something else health-wise that I haven't put out publicly. But, you know, I'll tell you know, I'm just not ready for the world to know it.
Starting point is 00:28:06 But, you know, it was so funny when it happened, everyone was like, we got COVID. I was like, nah, it ain't COVID this time. I wish. I wish it was COVID. Yeah. All right, well, we're rooting for you, man. We're hoping the best for you. Hope you get healthy.
Starting point is 00:28:19 I know you're running like crazy. You're out with Kerry right now. I saw you guys on the Carrie Underwood show doing it look like a choreographed dance number. Did you guys practice that? Yeah, we did. It's something we started rehearsing before the tour started. And I think it's super cool, you know, because there's something, you know, that I feel like, you know, she's really stepping her game up, man, when it comes to just overall, just like entertainment from, I feel like entertainment is just doing a bunch of things to keep the crowds. attention. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:28:54 Give them their money's worth. I'm like, maybe I'm biased because I'm on tour with her right now, but not only is she like just slaying people with these vocals, but man, she's flying and stuff, dancing, you know, telling jokes. It's really a beautiful thing to see. Tomorrow, Jimmy will be on the pickleball show with Stephen Colbert. So when they reached out to you to play pickleball, were you already playing pickleball recreationally? Man, I played pickleball one time before.
Starting point is 00:29:19 I was like, wait, who's going to be there? Ain't it's going to be on TV? Oh, sign me up. So this whole thing benefits, I believe, Red Nose Day with Stephen Colbert. And can you tell us how you did? Are you embarrassed? Are you proud of your performance? You know, me and Dirk's Bentley proudly represented country music on opposite teams.
Starting point is 00:29:38 But I'm super proud of what I did, given the situation. You will see. Given the situation that you've never played before? Exactly. Let me ask you this, and I got a couple things before we let you go here. You eat a bowl of cereal every night before you go to bed. Is that still a thing? Yep, honey smacks or crisp.
Starting point is 00:30:02 How about glazed donuts every night before you go to bed? Yeah, one a night. But for someone who is so dedicated to their physical fitness to eat donuts and cereal each night, are you blessed with wonderful genetics or are you just working that hard every other part of the day? Man, it's genetics. You know, luckily I'm blessed because I haven't been on my workout kick for almost a year now. Man, I admire the honesty. Yeah, I admire the honesty.
Starting point is 00:30:31 Because most people will be like, no, I'm hitting the horror. Jimmy's like, no, born with it. Oh, this. I ain't doing nothing, bro. If I didn't have my genetics, I'd look like, f***. You can't say that. What is that mean? I'm going to bleep out who you said.
Starting point is 00:30:45 I'm going to bleep that out because I ain't having that on, but that's hilarious. Okay. I ain't going to have you talk yourself. under the bus like that, so I'm going to protect you there. Jimmy. Let me say this. I saw you on the Connors, which it was Roseanne, then it's the Connors. You're acting.
Starting point is 00:31:02 So you wanted to act more? How was that experience for you? It was great. I loved it. I'm actually carving timeout away from touring next year to do more television. I love that. TV and film and hosting, they're all equally as important. Like, music doesn't trump either one of them.
Starting point is 00:31:20 You know what I mean? Like, they're all equally important. I'm at the place in my career where I've been blessed to have a few opportunities to jump into the acting world, a little bit more. Whether it's hosting, whether it's a sitcom, a couple of movie opportunities. So I'm about to do it. Life's all about being happy. I'm going to keep making music the whole time,
Starting point is 00:31:40 but I'm going to probably take a little break from touring for a few months and jump in this TV film film. What are you doing for the holidays, Jimmy? I honestly have no idea. Like, we don't really make plans, you know. me and my family, we're kind of just like, let's feel the mood and see what happens. You know, we got family. We can go stay in Delaware or Florida or California or stay in Nashville.
Starting point is 00:32:01 It's kind of just, you know, whatever we feel like doing without the pressure of my side of or her side of family saying, we need to do this. No, we need to do whatever we want to do. So we're just kind of just waiting until the day of or day before and making the decision. Well, what you can plan for is shopping. And Black Friday is starting early at macy's.com. tons of great gifts that you can get your hands on before anybody else. $10 kitchen appliances, $25 fragrances, 70% off gold jewelry.

And remember to watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade Thursday, November 24th, 9 to noon, which, Jimmy, I know you've been a part of before. Yes. Go see Jimmy right now.
Starting point is 00:32:51 He's on tour with Kerry. He's also got a children's book. My Voice is a trumpet. And he'll be on the pickleball show with Stephen Colbert tomorrow night. And it'll be interesting to see what him and his partner do. That's all I know. I don't know anything else except that. Jimmy, appreciate you.
Starting point is 00:33:06 You know. Oh, man. Thanks, brother. Take a few breaths. That's all. Take a few breaths. Get a nap. You know what's up.
Starting point is 00:33:11 And we'll talk to you soon. All right, man. Y'all take it easy. All right. See you, buddy. On the phone. John in Greensboro, North Carolina. Hey, John.
Starting point is 00:33:22 Good morning, John. Good morning, studio. Morning. John, we give a chance here to win a big, fat, sonic gift card. Now, here's the deal. We're going to play the classic TV theme game where I'll kind of talk through the intro to the TV show. Like the song, if I said,
Starting point is 00:33:39 Show me that smile again, don't waste another minute on your crying. That'd be growing pains. Show me. Show me that smile. That's a hard one. But John, you can pick Amy, lunchbox, or Eddie to play for you. Who do you think we'll get three?
Starting point is 00:33:54 Just who do you think is going to win? Go ahead. I'm going to say lunchbox. Okay, and who do you think is the worst at this game? Amy or Eddie? Amy. Okay, so lunchbox, you're going to play Amy? Okay.
Starting point is 00:34:05 And if you win, John wins. But if Amy wins, he doesn't. Okay. Amy, it's up to you to win. It's hard when you talk it out, though. Here we go. Number one, you get five of these. Write your answers down.
Starting point is 00:34:15 When I wake up in the morning. and the alarm gives off a warning and I don't think I'll ever make it on time. What TV theme song is that? I'm in. I'm in for the win. Lunchbox? Saved by the bell. Amy?
Starting point is 00:34:34 Saved by the bell. Correct. Next one. What would you do if I sang out of tune? Would you stand up and walk out of tune? on me? Oh, man, I hear it in my heads. I'm in.
Starting point is 00:34:58 I got, I got, I got, I got, I got, yeah. What would you do if I sang out of tune? Got a lunchbox? Yeah. What do you have? Wonder years. Amy? Wonder yours.
Starting point is 00:35:09 Correct. What would you do if I sang out of tune? Good job, guys. Next one. Love, marriage. Goes together like a horse. And carriage. I tell you, brother, can't have one without the other.
Starting point is 00:35:35 Love and marriage. Love and marriage. Goes together like a horse and carriage. Dang it. I tell you, brother. Can't have one without the other. John, we're about to take the lead, John. Yeah, because this is like right above the millhouse.
Starting point is 00:35:55 Yep. I never watched this, but the dad sold shoes. Amy any of the answer? The dad was a shoe salesman. Love and marriage. Incorrect. Lunchbox. Married with children.
Starting point is 00:36:05 Correct. Yeah. Love and marriage. Love and marriage. Go together like a horse and carriage. This, I tell you, brother. You can't have one without the other. Next up.
Starting point is 00:36:24 Well, we're moving. on up to the east side I'm in to a deluxe apartment in the sky I'm in for the wind Amy
Starting point is 00:36:42 dang it the Jeffersons Lunchbox The Jeffersons We're moving on now We're moving on up To a team You mean you're back
Starting point is 00:36:57 You mean one five You mean perfect Yeah we're going to have a perfect game John John we're going to have a perfect game Get those taste buds ready. Here we go. Yeah. Making your way in the world today.
Starting point is 00:37:19 Takes everything you got. Taking a break from all your worries. It sure would help a lot. I'm in. Oh. Lunchbox is not riding. I have no idea. Making your way.
Starting point is 00:37:38 Making your way down. In the world today. Takes everything you got. Making it away in the world today. Making the world today. Make the world today. Not even singing the right words. Making it in the world days.
Starting point is 00:37:57 Take all you got. All right, whatever. I put something down. Let's go to lunchbox. Ah, man. I put friends. Amy. Oh, cheers.
Starting point is 00:38:08 Making your lay in the world. on today. John, we're not going to go perfect. Let's go. John, we're not going perfect. Sure would help a lot. Oh. I know, man, and I watched Cheers.
Starting point is 00:38:22 I just couldn't get that. So this is a buzz in. You can stop me at any time. I couldn't hear the theme. Go. Say your name. It's speed round. Oh, I love speed, baby.
Starting point is 00:38:31 What? Don't say that. Why? Here we go. Final one. Uh-oh. Buzz in with your name, and I'll stop at any point. Action.
Starting point is 00:38:40 Just sit right back. And you will hear a tale. Lunchbox. What? Fresh breeze of Bel Air! Incorrect. What? That's in West Philadelphia born and raised.
Starting point is 00:39:00 A tale of a fateful trip. What? That started from tropic port. Huh? Abort. this tiny ship. Lushbox! He's out.
Starting point is 00:39:17 He's out. I thought I got to ring in again. Listen, Amy. Well, he's saying, he's got like 20 seconds between words. He's like, just. Ready, he's going to be quiet. I hear the ship. I am listening to words. I'm just a cheerleader, man. But I mean, right now, it could be love boat.
Starting point is 00:39:30 It could be Gilligan's Island. I need to hear it again, but like not. No, you don't get to tell me how to do it. That's the whole point of the game as I do it so you can't figure it out. Just. Just sit right here Sit back Sit back
Starting point is 00:39:47 Back back And you'll hear a tail And you'll hear a tail Something like that A tale A tale about A fateful trip Fateful trip
Starting point is 00:39:58 Okay Okay what Gilligan's Island Correct Just sit right back And you'll hear a tail A day You got cocky
Starting point is 00:40:07 Langebos got cocky He started yelling He was going undefeated Yep Yep You sure it And didn't even First of all
Starting point is 00:40:13 It's one game. Then secondly, it didn't even go perfect. Lunchbox, what do you want to say? Because you have failed John. Ah, John, you know what I'm saying? I had to let Amy win one every once in a while. No, but you didn't let her win, and he also didn't win a prize. Yeah, John, that was a bad, bad, bad run there. John, we got a little cocky there. Dang! Here's a voicemail from Scott in Ohio.
Starting point is 00:40:36 How do you make money on TikTok? I'm an old man. Could you explain that to us later? Thank you. Love the show. The best show in the country. I can explain to you now. Well, TikTok, you don't really make any money per se by doing the TikTok. You can make a little bit in that little fund. You can be doing millions of streams, views, but you don't make a lot of money in that. Where you can make money, selling ads.
Starting point is 00:40:57 Where you can make money is if you're making music, sending people to stream your music. You can make money being popular and people subscribe to your Instagram or YouTube. There's a lot of ways to make money on TikTok except on TikTok. Oh, yeah, because that doesn't pay anything. It doesn't. TikTok is not a good payer, but it is a great creator of other ways to make money. I did that fund for a little bit. I was like, yeah, I'll opt in. Had videos like three, four, five.
Starting point is 00:41:23 I had one went six million. I meant like $1.19. It's crazy. This is not good. This is not the way to make money. And when you open it, it's got confetti. It says, congratulations. You made $1.15.
Starting point is 00:41:32 17 cents. Wait, what? I was so excited to go look at it because that video went to $6 million. I was like, I'm about to be rich. And so I went, yeah, $1.17, something like that. So that's what it is. TikTok is a way for you to grow a following and then use that to make money. You can do ads too, just like you can do ads anywhere else.
Starting point is 00:41:53 The real money and content creation is in YouTube. That's where most people can make a lot of money. Mr. Beast, they offered him $1 billion for his biggest channel. He said no. He said no. Then they did the math on it. They brought him again. He's like, oh yeah, I wouldn't sell it either for $1 billion.
Starting point is 00:42:07 Wow. What? $1 billion? They offered $1 billion. Wow. From YouTube. And he said no. Gosh, I made the wrong choice.
Starting point is 00:42:15 You didn't. I don't think you would have done that anyway. Choice. I think he made a good choice. Yeah, yeah. Here's Bradley from Tacomo, because you still could have done that even here. Yeah, but I didn't know you can make that much money on YouTube. No idea.
Starting point is 00:42:25 But he probably didn't either when he started. Oh, he knew. No, because he wasn't. No, because, yeah. I'll argue. Bradley and Tacoma, Washington. Here's a voicemail. Morning studio.
Starting point is 00:42:34 Listen, I just made up a morning corny. What do you call a pessimistic antelope? A cantalope. A cantolope. Yeah. You love that, funny. Here's Amy's pile of stories. People are more impatient than ever.
Starting point is 00:42:56 New research says that half of all customers will not wait more than three minutes without being helped. Three minutes and they're out. And speed is just, if not more, important than price. That's a long time. It is. Three minutes? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:43:10 Because you don't assume everybody needs help. But what's weird is sometimes they can. can't find enough people to work at a store. And you're like, hey, can I get some help here? And there's nobody working. Or everybody, because there's not a lot of folks, they're all working the register, and there is no one. And it's not that there are lazy people.
Starting point is 00:43:27 Well, it is lazy people who don't want to work, but it's not lazy people there that day. There just aren't enough people they're working. But three minutes is a long time. Now, on the flip side of that, if I go onto a clothing store and I'm looking at something, and they just start laying clothes on my shoulder, put this on. Try this on. Hell, you want this one. I'm like, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
Starting point is 00:43:42 Oh. That's too much help. You get to find the fine line. Yeah, you walk in, you look at us. They just go, hey, if you need anything, let me know, I'll be right here. That's why I like. And then if I do need something, I'll let them know. I don't need. You good?
Starting point is 00:43:57 Yeah, yeah, I'm good. How about now? You're good? Yeah, no, no, I'm good. Can I get you water? I'm not drinking water. Shopping here. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:04 Look over clothes. So, yes, it is a very fine line. Gen Z is likely to feel respected when a brand responds quickly. So it's like, oh, yeah, they see me. feel good about this. It could be on the phone, too, like, if you have to wait time or, like, even on social media, if a brand response. You know what I don't trust? Yeah. Leave, leave and we'll call you back. Oh, I do that. Oh, no way. About 75% of the time it works. Really? I don't trust it every time. Yeah, it's not worth it to me. I'm about it. I'll get on
Starting point is 00:44:30 Southwest, and most of the time they call me back. I say they're a good one, but some of the other ones, they just forget about me. And then, like, two days later, too, that I was even on the phone with them. And then, like, two days later, I'm like, I'm still expecting a call from the buckle. And then And there it is. They don't, not got to start over. You know, what's the worst? I don't know if this happens to you, but when you're dealing with a really complicated call for a long time and then suddenly the salesperson or whoever it is, the person
Starting point is 00:44:51 working disconnects from you. That happens too. When they don't understand, they just hang up. Exactly. They act like it was a technical thing, but they straight up hang up on me. I know it. That happened to me with my cable company. I'm for sure of it.
Starting point is 00:45:03 I was like, I can't get this to connect. Well, have you tried. They're like, forget this amount. And then they just blame it on my connection. So dumb. All right, what else? Researchers are testing a new birth control option for men described as a temporary vasectomy.
Starting point is 00:45:19 This is what you do. Here's birth control for men. You put them in room with eight babies for 24 hours. All right. These are your baby, eight of them for 24 hours. Go. You want these for the rest of your life? Go.
Starting point is 00:45:30 You're not lying. You're not lying. So what this involves is injecting gel directly into the area. And they say it could prevent pregnancy for up to two years. So it's temporary. You're not having to get the, you know, full vasectomy. Even though vasectomies are reversible anyway, but this is just a gel. So anyway, they're testing it out.
Starting point is 00:45:51 We'll see what happens. I don't even lie. You know how some people don't like to hear this show, talk about gross stuff in the morning? Because they're like, I'm eating breakfast. I don't like to hear that ever because I'm alive. I don't like to think about it. I don't like to hear that. Ew.
Starting point is 00:46:02 That same feeling. I'm like, I don't want to hear that now. Okay, what else? All right. So Riley Green. There was this girl. He's going to be on tour next. year with Luke Combs, and he was talking to People Magazine about how he's dating Luke's
Starting point is 00:46:15 day-to-day manager, and they've been together for a year. And he told People Magazine, quote, I've got a lot of ex-girlfriends who'd be blown away by that number. I just thought that call was me. Yeah, no, I don't know that I ever talk about a lot of ex-girlfriends when I have a current. Maybe when I'm not with a current. Interesting. Yeah. They'd all be shocked. I've been committed for a year. I'm Amy. That's my pile. That was Amy's pile of stories. It's time for the Good news. With Bobby. Tell me something good.
Starting point is 00:46:46 Hey, Devin, who goes by at Debon 973 on TikTok, posted a video of this older lady who works at Walmart. Now, she's a greet her, and she was like, hey, look, I'm not going to be able to really quit here until I get my house paid for because she has to still pay her mortgage. And so he said, okay, well, let's help you with that. Now, again, Devin's just throwing this out there, and he set up a go fund me. And he said, hey, we want to help her get closer to retiring. The initial crowdfunding campaign was for $10,000, which even he thought was a bit much, and he didn't know if they would get to it, but why not try? But in less than 24 hours, they raised over $100,000.
Starting point is 00:47:23 Wow. That's amazing. So an optimistic campaign where he was like, I don't know if we're going to do this, but let's try it. Turned into, oh, one of those where you have to turn up, that's $10,000 where you keep turning it up. So a week later, GoFundMe had surpassed over $170,000, and it was enough for her to be able to pay off her mortgage and retire. That's amazing. Like he changed her life by doing it. He straight up changed her life.
Starting point is 00:47:44 That is a great story. At DeBond 973 underscore on TikTok, that's a great story. Good job by you. That's what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good. I just have a B-team tell me something good.
Starting point is 00:51:30 I get on the Facebook B-team page and tried to sell my tickets to your show in December because my daughter's cat had to have emergency surgery and have a leg amputated while the B-team members got my Venmo and started sending me money. And so now we're coming to you in Vegas. Wow. By the way, a couple things to sit to share. One, B-Team, that's the listeners of this show. If you're a listener of this show and you're into the idea of just helping others,
Starting point is 00:51:57 you're part of the B-team. And the B-team, for two reasons, one, because I felt like I was never on the A-team, meaning I never got picked first. And then also my name starts with B, if you guys didn't know. It just worked out that way. Double combo there. Secondly, that B Team Facebook page is always up to some good stuff. And so apparently she was going to sell the tickets because she needed to save that money.
Starting point is 00:52:14 And they said, no, no, no, no, we got you. And they helped. That's like a tell me something good right there. Yeah. That's awesome. So shout out to you guys. And if you and your daughter are coming, because I assume her daughter that's getting her leg amputated is still coming. Call back up and leave a message.
Starting point is 00:52:27 Let me know exactly what's happening. Because maybe we can arrange something as well. If that's the case. So I'm happy that you guys are coming to Vegas. I have a show in December. I think it's the fourth, maybe. Is it December 4th? Sounds right.
Starting point is 00:52:39 Yeah, whatever that Sunday is. And so, I can't wait to see everybody. And that's it, that's it. Let's go over to Amy now and get in The Morning Corny. The Morning Corny! What do turkeys like to do on sunny days? What do turkeys like to do on sunny days? Have peknics.
Starting point is 00:53:01 That was the... Morning Corny. Morgan said on the show yesterday, she's single again after a year, and she's been dating on Hinge, the app. It's been going okay. But I know, maybe you guys can figure it out because I don't know who it is. Morgan, tell them what happened. So someone tried to match with me on the dating app, and there's somebody that has been in the news a lot for their relationship to a country star. And she's not going to confirm or deny, regardless of what we say.
Starting point is 00:53:31 Hold on, hold on. But that's the clue. Someone who's been in the news. So it has to be. Oh, I know it is. Yeah, me too. Yeah, yeah. Okay, let me think.
Starting point is 00:53:37 Hold on. Don't, don't spoil it. Because I was thinking about this. No, no, no. Don't give me anything. Hold on. Dating a country star. So it has to be.
Starting point is 00:53:44 Wait, you're assuming dating. Oh, married. What if they're, yeah, they were married. I never even thought about married. Yeah, it could be either. Why are you writing something down? I want to show you. No, I want to guess.
Starting point is 00:53:54 Oh, I can't think of anyone. Let him have some fun. That's the point. I want to have fun. You guys always get to play the game. Isn't I show you who I think it is? Yes, because I have no one. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:54:02 We probably have the same person. Show me, show me. Okay, maybe. But now, I'm not buying it. Oh, no, that's not what I have. Do I know them really well? Yeah. No.
Starting point is 00:54:11 No. Oh, then it's not Morgan Evans. It's this. Oh, I thought Morgan Evans. Oh, yeah. No, no, guys. I'm not showing you, Bobby. Hold on.
Starting point is 00:54:18 Not confirming denying anything. Oh, you just deny. Yeah, you just deny. Yeah, you just deny. Oh, I would say no to you that you don't know them well. Sorry, I was repeating myself. Not to Google that person. That's interesting, Amy.
Starting point is 00:54:28 How would you have to Google that person? Hey, what Amy has was is very interesting. Whatever Amy says, I'm going to say out loud, but whatever, I want you to just go, regardless of what I say, just go, who knows? I want you to already have your response ready so people don't judge it based off your tone. So whatever I say, go up. Who knows? Amy, who do you have?
Starting point is 00:54:46 I can't, you want me to say the name? Show me. Okay, the only reason why I say in the news right now is I just read an article about him yesterday. Just things are being said about him. Show me. No, I know who it is. Oh, Jana Kramer's husband? Oh, gosh.
Starting point is 00:55:00 Well, who knows? Who knows? Okay. No, no. I know. I know, I know. Okay. Again, this is all speculation.
Starting point is 00:55:06 Morgan just told me and she didn't even tell me. I will say that I did not swipe right on him for a reason. See? Yeah, because. See? This is why. Yeah. Hey.
Starting point is 00:55:18 Is it a no to who I said? Well, who knows? Okay. Nice. So the only clue is there on the news for being. Was it a man? marriage or was it a dating? Who knows?
Starting point is 00:55:28 Well, that's a good answer. Do you know what did Mike? No? Okay, I got a question. Was Casey Musgrave's ex-husband a musician? Yeah. I don't know who he is, but it could be him. He's not in the news right now.
Starting point is 00:55:40 Did we say right now? No. Yes, she did. Not right now. I just said in the news for who they dated as a country star. Dated, Amy. Who they dated? So they weren't married?
Starting point is 00:55:50 Who knows? Nice. So it could have been Casey Musgrave. I mean, I don't know who that is. Her ex-husband's Rustin Kelly, but she's saying dated, not married. No, she said, who knows? No, it could have been either one. But she said dated.
Starting point is 00:56:03 She literally said dated. Dated. Are there a lot of famous people on Hinge? No, this is the first one I've seen. Are they like B-List, C-List? Hey, who knows? Yeah, who knows? I look at Morgan back at it.
Starting point is 00:56:15 And you didn't want to date him? No, I did not. D-List. Huh. Who else? And maybe I didn't want to date him because I just don't find him attractive. I don't know. Who knows?
Starting point is 00:56:25 right? Who knows? Is there any other celebrity couples that are in the news that dated someone? It doesn't have Who?
Starting point is 00:56:33 Okay, let's think of all the single... I gotta think about this. We gotta come back. What? I can't think of anything. I think everybody's wrong here so far. And I think if she told her to be like,
Starting point is 00:56:41 oh, but we don't know. But she's not going to tell us. She's just going to say, well, who knows? That's right. And she should... Right, I'm just trying to think of what other artists
Starting point is 00:56:47 have dated in the past. Yeah. Here's Riley Green, Thomas Rhett. Riley Green? Was it Riley Green? No. No?
Starting point is 00:56:55 No. What does he have? Let me see. Who? No, of course not. Let me see. What? Oh, good one.
Starting point is 00:57:03 No, it's not. See, thank you, Amy? No, it's not, Amy. I'm joking. I don't think it's real. All right. I know who it is. Okay, who?
Starting point is 00:57:11 Morgan told me. Okay. Who is it? Who is anybody hot? Okay, now you're on that one. I'll say this. They have been in the, they, it's not anything that happened today or yesterday, but they've been in the news. And I think it's a good idea not to go.
Starting point is 00:57:25 I just think you would get a lot of unwanted attention. Yes. More than... That's all I'm going to say for now. I feel like I'm right. So I'm going to put it there. I think... I'm going to give you no indication, but...
Starting point is 00:57:41 So my close... Am I right? Yeah, who's more? I'm giving you no indication of what anybody is, but Morgan, good call. What if we say... It would just put a light on you that you don't want. Yeah. Well, and you know, everything that was in the news, like, you...
Starting point is 00:57:55 learn about something. And good looking guy. I'll leave it there. Good looking guy. Sweet, what about brown hair? We'll come back. Here's what we're going to do. Smart, Amy. Somebody secretly recorded somebody here on the show. Again? This has got to stop.
Starting point is 00:58:10 We're in a room full of microphones. It's one button and it's great content. And it shows the true personalities of some of these show members. So someone secretly recorded somebody here on the show. We're going to play it back. And let's let them defend themselves after they hear what they hear. We love recording people. secretly, don't we? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:58:26 Yep. So every once in a while I get a little birdie that flies in. He goes, I got a little something. And that birdie is Eddie. Oh, guys, we got another one. Another one. Another one. Go ahead.
Starting point is 00:58:38 Look, when someone's talking trash or doing something that I think is worthy to bring the show and they're in front of a microphone, you know what I'm going to do? I'm going to go to Scoob and say, hey, hit record on this. We can use this later. Okay, so what happened? Lunchbox. He's on the phone with, I think, customer service. He's sitting at his desk.
Starting point is 00:58:54 Why did you grunt? Because I did call customer service. And he is talking so rude to them. Like, rude to them that I tell scuba, we got a role on this. You know if you're sitting by a microphone lunchbox. Someone's going to record. I wasn't even thinking, man. I was on the phone.
Starting point is 00:59:11 I was in my chair. What were you complaining about? Because my cable hadn't worked for two weeks. And every time I call, they say, oh, yeah, yeah, we'll run some, you know, we'll run technical support here. and we'll try to diagnose the problem and we'll get that fixed. And we did that three times. They mailed me three new cable boxes. None of it worked.
Starting point is 00:59:29 And I call again. And she's like, oh, yeah, you know, we'll just, we'll troubleshoot from here. No, no, no, no, no, no. No more troubleshooting from there. I need someone at my house. No more and then. No, no, no, no. No more and then.
Starting point is 00:59:41 That's from dude. With my car. Remember that? I dropped there. Yeah. And then she says, well, it's going to be a $99 fee for them to come. No, no, no. It's not $99 fee because your stuff doesn't work.
Starting point is 00:59:50 Oh. So I'm getting heated. he did right now. Not her fault though, right? Yes, her fault. Okay. So here's a clip. I haven't heard it yet. Eddie claims he recorded this from Lunchbox on with customer service. Go ahead. No, no, no, no. No, no. That's not not, excuse me. No, no, no. That's not how it's going to go.
Starting point is 01:00:05 No, no, no. I'm not paying $99 for you to come out and fix your equipment that's not working. No, no. You can put on, whatever you need to write on the account, you write, no, I'm not paying $99. My cable hasn't worked for two weeks. Do you understand? I am lunchbox from the Bobby Bone Show. I will go on Twitter, Instagram, my social media,
Starting point is 01:00:30 and I can bash your company if that's what I need to do, but I'm not going to pay $99 for you guys to come fix the broken thing. We're not going to run, oh, technical support from there. I've done technical support from you guys three different times. And every time, oh, it's going to be fixed. It's never fixed. So now I need a human, a human. to come to my house and fix it.
Starting point is 01:00:53 No more of this trying to diagnostic whatever crap through the phone. Yes, yes. Then give me a supervisor and let's figure it out. You can have a supervisor. Call me. That's fine. But I am not paying $99. Listen,
Starting point is 01:01:08 being that I am lunchbox from the Bobby Bone show, I have a huge social media following. And I am not afraid to use my social media to get on there and get what I need. So let's make an appointment for someone to come to my house. Yes. Fine. I will wait for your supervisor to call me back. Oh,
Starting point is 01:01:25 okay, I got a couple things. One, is that real? That's legit. That's not legit. That's real. That's real.
Starting point is 01:01:31 100%. Why would you say? That's not legit. This lady wants to run diagnostics for the fourth time. They've sent me three new cable boxes and she wants to charge me 90. We heard. We heard. We heard.
Starting point is 01:01:44 I can't hear. Hold on. Hold on. Was that, NLR. NLR. NLR. It's crazy, dude. And your name came.
Starting point is 01:01:50 I can't, you can't use, you can't use my name. Your name was totally brought up. You can't use my name. I'm a celebrity. I'll tweet it out. Oh, that. But that's how you do. It's hilarious and cringe-worthy, but you can't use my, I don't care if it's like your lunchbox.
Starting point is 01:02:06 I don't give a crap. Be like your lunchbox from Star Losers podcast. That I don't care about. I don't use my name because you're all upset. But if you go, if you go on social media and you tweet things out, guess what you get a response like that. Okay. Did you? No, because a supervisor calls.
Starting point is 01:02:20 call me back and guess what? Someone's coming to my house and there is no $99 fee. Thank you. That's what you have to do. You have to get a little, got a little raise your voice a little bit and get into them and that's how you do it. I mean, let's not send that message though, right?
Starting point is 01:02:34 That's how you treat customer service to get what you want. I just, you can't use my name when you're yelling at people. No, no. That whole clip made me uncomfortable in addition to the fact that I don't know, he has some slim situation happening. He's trying to yell, but it's all like,
Starting point is 01:02:48 and he does a lot of. Like repeating partial words when he's flustered. No, no, no, no, no. Go, go, go, go. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. And we all have our own things, but that one, it intensified because he was intensifying. Yeah, you can't. You don't talk to people that way, lunchbox?
Starting point is 01:03:05 No, no, they don't. What about the way she was talking to me? We can hear her. We can hear that. I don't know what she was saying. But what about the, oh, you know, we're going to run diagnostics from here. No, no, we've done that enough. That's her talking down to you?
Starting point is 01:03:16 You know what? I don't care about any of that. You just can't say my name whenever you're going. I don't like that But also I love it I don't know what to feel I'm so torn I knew you'd like it
Starting point is 01:03:26 I'm so frustrated It's like some of the best audio we've ever had I'm frustrated right now I'm frustrated right now Me too Me too but I'm also And I still And I have someone coming to my house
Starting point is 01:03:34 And I'm still frustrated The fact that they were gonna try To charge me 99 You yelled I'm a celebrity And I will tweet out and bash you For our listeners to think this is just a bit When he does this You heard it right there
Starting point is 01:03:43 I know And then I was even like Was that real You were You were dead serious too That's crazy Did you tell Sally to wash her back? No, I didn't.
Starting point is 01:03:52 Wash her back, Sally. Well, I hope it gets fixed. Like, you guys are getting me fired up again. Just don't use my name. Deal. Got it. Got it. But I can use my Twitter and Instagram and let me tell you, you'll get a response like that.
Starting point is 01:04:06 I've done it to it. I know, because I got what I needed. Airline, I've done it before. Okay, well, I'm going to play this song. I'm a celebrity. I'll tweet it out. Let's play this No, no, no, no, no, no.
Starting point is 01:04:21 Talk to Goldie in Texas, who was on the phone. Hey, Goldie, what's going on? Oh, my Godly. Oh, my Godly. This is what's going on. I want to talk to Lunchbox about why he was saying about the customer service he got about. I forgot what it was about. Yeah, it's cable.
Starting point is 01:04:37 Like 20 minutes ago, lunchbox was, well, Eddie had a recording of Lunchbox yelling at the customer service person. And I didn't so much care that he was. upset at the situation. He was talking mean and he was using my name, which I wish he wouldn't have done. But I do think there's a reason to be upset with them. It was just how you handled it. And also mostly it was just using my name. But okay, we're past that. But that's the situation. Goldie, what would you like to say about it specifically? What is your name? Me? What is your? Yeah. Bobby? What's your name? Goldie? Oh, why? I listen to you all every first. freaking single day. So, no, I was in customer service my whole life. Like, I raised my daughter.
Starting point is 01:05:23 I totally get what he's saying. And I also want to say that some people are not meant to be in customer service, period, on the phone or in person. But 30 years of customer service. So I just, I just want to say I understand him. And I'm not a little nervous right now. That's okay. So you're nervous. She's on my side. I think we all understood why you were upset. It was how you handled being upset by screaming at her and also going, I will humiliate you because I'm on the Bobby Bone show.
Starting point is 01:05:58 Yeah, he threatened her. No. You can't do. I said I would tweet out negative things if that's what I need to do. That's a threat. That's not a threat. That's just a statement saying, I will do it. That's a threat.
Starting point is 01:06:09 Oh, my gosh. A statement that has, if you don't do this, I will do this. That's a threat. Yeah. We got it. You go back and listen on the podcast if you guys would like to hear it. Thank you, Goldie. I really appreciate that call.
Starting point is 01:06:19 And I agree, not everybody is made for customer service. I'm one of them because I don't have the patience for it. Oh, you'd probably start crying, huh? No, I would get competitive. Oh, I would cry. Yeah, I wouldn't cry. I know, I don't really cry. I wish I cried.
Starting point is 01:06:31 I wish I cried more. I would just get competitive. Okay, Ray, let's do the news. Bobby's Big. Stories. If you're trying to get your cat or your dog's attention, try this. Animal experts say, try baby talk instead. A recent study revealed that getting your animal's attention is as simple as speaking with a high-pitched tone,
Starting point is 01:06:50 just like how you'd communicate with a human baby. This is shown to pique their interest and refocus their attention on you when they hear the odd voice. By talking in your regular voice that they're used to, most likely you won't get their undivided attention unless they're trained from a young age. That is from a research journal animal cognition. I also think the high pitch has something with their hearing, right? That's why squeaky toys are big to them. Yeah. Eller.
Starting point is 01:07:17 If it doesn't squeak, she has no use for it. She got about 10. And she loves toys. Stanley could care less about it. Just could not care less about a toy. Eller, if it's the only things she'll have. It's squeaky or nothing. It's like somebody who only have an apple product.
Starting point is 01:07:31 That's her and squeaky toys. But yeah, they also will react to certain words they know, like food and eat and car and toy. But other than that, if I'm just talking, they take it or leave it. Do you talking baby voice? Not really in the morning. Like when I'm waking him up. Especially to Eller. Like, what's that like?
Starting point is 01:07:49 Eller! Eller! Eller! Wake up! I just try to get, because she sleeps so hard. Mostly, I'm just trying to annoy her to wake up. Let's go into the bathroom! And Stanley, I'm like, yo, get up.
Starting point is 01:08:02 That's not baby voice. No, I'm like, dude, come on. You do talk to him like a bro. I do. I'm like, no, come on. I got to go to work. Please go pee. We do a lot of that.
Starting point is 01:08:15 Next up, here's proof that we are born disliking some vegetables. In a study, a majority of babies in the womb smiled when their moms ate carrots, whereas babies that were exposed to their mom eating kale had a distinct reaction of sadness, even crying. The 40 ultrasound scans were the first ever direct evidence of how babies respond to different taste while in the womb, which shows that kale is an acquired taste. I agree with that, because I can eat kale now. Oh, I hate it as a kid.
Starting point is 01:08:46 And not something we're born to like. But think about that as a kid. We didn't like a lot of vegetables that we do like now. I mean, I love sugar now. Still, that's from psychological science, a research journal. It's even almost like Brussels sprouts, which have a very bitter flavor. And I think I've developed a taste for Brussels sprouts, especially when they started to put salt and caramel and cheese. Yeah, that's my, that's why my development came from that when they covered it with everything else and it wasn't really.
Starting point is 01:09:11 about the Brussels sprout. If someone's cranky, it may be a good thing. Experts found that crabbiness could be a sign that you're smarter than the average person. Boom. Researchers from Penn... No, you're mean, not cranky. Oh.
Starting point is 01:09:22 Researchers from Penn State engaged in a year-long study and found that people with above-average intelligence also largely tend to be the most disagreeable. Being disagreeable usually lends to a person to perceive you as crabby. When in all actuality, it could just be a sign of an inability to express an above-average intelligence. Reader's Digest has that story.
Starting point is 01:09:40 Then I must be really intelligent about 4.30 a.m. That's when I'm hitting my peak intelligence. Oh, come on, bro. Get up. I'm crabby to Stanley. Good up. Come on, man. I've got to go to work. There's that. A bulldog puppy gets a facelift to help her breathe at night.
Starting point is 01:09:55 I've been here, done that. Tuna, the puppy, was having trouble breathing at night, so there was one thing that they could do, and they gave her a facelift to help the bulldog with her breathing issues. The surgery removed the roll of excess skin around her nose and surgery on her eyelids, which were so heavy they pulled her face down and made her eyes look like to her crying. The female bulldog was rescued as part of the RSPA animal welfare investigation, and doctors and animal rights organizations are using her story to point out the problems
Starting point is 01:10:20 that dog breeders are creating, which say is leading to a lot of health problems. That's from the daily male. Wow. They should not make bulldogs. We should stop. And I'm not saying no more bulldogs, period. They should be able to mate with other dogs and become a healthier-ish breed. I have a bulldog. He's at 11 surgeries. It's crazy how sick they're born and how you have to maintain them. And it's expensive just to almost be normal. They're inbred years and years and years. They snore.
Starting point is 01:10:58 Stanley, when he was born, he had to have surgery on his nose and his tongue so he could breathe because they don't breathe well. And still, he snored. He still snores. You can hear him through walls. When we have guests that stay at our house, we have to. to move him like two more walls from them because he just revert because he can't breathe. When we're playing video games, I can hear him through your headset. Yes.
Starting point is 01:11:18 And you know what? He's at the dog place like 10 blocks down the road and you can still hear him. That's where he is. That's how loud he is. Well, I mean, and you're an attentive dog parent and you're able to take him to get this stuff done too. Like, imagine some dogs that just kind of live in the pain because their owners don't pay attention. Yeah. Yeah, I tend to have, sure, I think I'm lucky enough now to have some money to have that stuff fixed.
Starting point is 01:11:39 Yeah. If you don't have money to, like, spare money, don't get a bulldog. Right. Don't get a French bulldog. Don't get a... Because it's just so much. It's so much. I don't recommend it.
Starting point is 01:11:49 By the way, check out Stanley the Dog in his first day at school. My kid's book. Do you all address that in the book? No, it's not addressed in the book. Well, it's a dress. He doesn't fit in because he looks different than the other dogs. No, not his breathing. He should be like Stanley the Dog.
Starting point is 01:12:00 That's the next book. These are all my surgeries. And kids could use it before they go into the hospital. I love him. I just feel bad for him. And that's why I say that because he's had 11. He spent a lot of his life in a cone. And nobody should have to deal with that.
Starting point is 01:12:12 Or no dog should have to deal with that. According to a new study, the most obese states are. Oh, boy. Uh-oh. Let's see. It's risky to guess. I was going to let you guess, but it's risky to guess. I was not going to guess.
Starting point is 01:12:24 West Virginia. I was number one. Mississippi, Kentucky, Arkansas, and Alabama. It's a southern fried chicken, man. Man, I was asked the other day what my death row meal is. It's chicken fried steak with white gravy. mashed potatoes with white gravy, fried okra, corn on the cob.
Starting point is 01:12:43 I knew it immediately. They were like, you already know us. That's my favorite meal. I'm from Arkansas. Like that to me is like the perfect dinner. Not special death row night. Like that's just, I'd love to have that for dinner. Sweet tea. Like five glasses of it.
Starting point is 01:12:57 Oh, wow. That's why our states are like that because that's how we're raised. We're just comfort of food constantly. The least overweight states are Colorado, Utah, Massachusetts, Hawaii, and Minnesota. Yeah. Shout out to our Minnesota listeners.
Starting point is 01:13:12 I'm surprised you made the list. Why? The Midwest, it's cold. What do you do when it's cold? Stay inside and eat. Yeah, watch TV. What do you do when it's cold and snowing? That's right.

Starting point is 01:18:48 Man, I was just getting off your Instagram And I saw you posted the CMA bit that you did Chase Wright's part was awesome I was laughing my butt off Let me explain About a month or so ago Maybe more than that I did a bit on stage at my comedically inspirational show
Starting point is 01:19:06 Where I said hey they're not going to let me host CMA awards But if I did host this is the kind of monologue I would do And I did it and someone threatened to leak it I should have never talked about it Because that got me in trouble because then I talked about it so much that people were like, well, now you have to put it out. And then people were mad. I wasn't putting it out.
Starting point is 01:19:21 And then people were like, you're a wimp. And then people were like, well, you say everybody's a voice. It can't take stuff. But then you don't want to put it out because so I finally was just like, I'm just going to put it out there. And it's up on my Instagram at Mr. Bobby Bones. It's about a five-minute video of a monologue I would do if I were hosting the CMAs. And yes, there were some jokes. Because you need a couple where people are like, ooh, ah.
Starting point is 01:19:43 But I did run it by my. a couple test audience friends. I said, well, anyone get so upset by this that it's really going to cut them and hurt their feelings? And they said no, that the people would be able to take a joke. Now, I've recently found that's not true. Yeah, I was going about to say. I don't know, man. I'm not saying that about Chase, because I did go to one of Chase's friends and he was like, I think Chase is. That's funny. But I'm not going to say who, but I've recently found that that's not true that everybody can't take it. Because that's what I found out. I'll play you on. of where the person did not get upset.
Starting point is 01:20:15 This is a joke I was doing about Dan and Shea. And what I did too is I cut in. I acted like they were in the audience. And I said, oh, Dan and Shea's here. And it would show a picture of them sitting in the crowd. But they weren't really there. I just made it look like a CMA bit. And so this is a joke I did about Dan and Shea.
Starting point is 01:20:28 You know, Dan has big long hair now. So here you go. Dan and Shea are here. Very excited. These guys. Hey, look at me in the audience over there. Dan and Shay. Wow.
Starting point is 01:20:36 Wow. My friend's Dan and Shee. Yeah. They are nominated for a vocal duo of the year. Dan and She do this really catchy song with Justin Bieber called 10,000 hours. You guys may have heard it, which is also the amount of time Dan spent
Starting point is 01:20:48 getting his hair ready for tonight. Dan looks like if you cross a male model with a guy who sells CBD oil out of his basement. And so those are real people in the crowd. We didn't edit the laughs in. But I went to look to see what country artists liked the bit. And I'll read you some. Lainey even posted a comment
Starting point is 01:21:09 and I was making a joke about Louisiana and Lainey. Oh, that's right. And I'm from Arkansas. Yeah. And so Lainey liked it. and she made she put a comment up there summer party john's wife kane brown liked it Gavin degraw uh three doors down Brad the lead singer there Travis Denning there's some but then there's some who won't touch it or they won't like it because they don't want to be
Starting point is 01:21:29 singing liking it but it's on my instagram at mr bobby bones I put it out it has caused me a little bit of a little whatever whatever I can't tell people just go and be yourself and then if I don't do it myself but it's up there mr bobby bones if you want to see that Let's go over and take a couple calls. Jeff and Ohio is on the phone right now. Jeff, happy to talk with you. What's going on, buddy? Good morning, Mr. Bones.
Starting point is 01:21:53 How are you? Hey, I'm doing pretty good. What can I do for you? Morning show. Morning. Kind of. Studio. So I've got a question.
Starting point is 01:22:02 What is the personal vendetta with Eddie against Lunchbox? Why is he flying him around like a net at a barbecue video or recording everything that he says? Great question. Now, I would put it on both of them Because they're constantly Spilling the tea on each other They're tattling on each other You only get about a third
Starting point is 01:22:21 Of what the two tattel on each other about That I bring to the air So I don't know what the That's somewhat beef is between you two Lunchbox, do you want to? Yeah, that's a great question Is I think Eddie just wants The spotlight on him, he gets mad
Starting point is 01:22:34 That I get too much You do it too though You do it too a lot No But he's always just follow me around He follows me to the bathroom He follows me to the bathroom Yeah, how did you see
Starting point is 01:22:42 me to Keith Urban. I had to go to the bathroom. Oh, you happened to follow me, just like I followed Keith. So you admitted you followed Keith. No, I didn't. I said Keith was in there. You admitted you followed Keith Urban to the bathroom. No, I did not. I said he was in there and that's what happens. Yes, but Eddie just wants some of my shine and he can't take it that I'm the focal point of everything. Eddie, why do you think lunchbox is always trying to get you in trouble? Yeah, that's a good question, bones. I don't know why he's trying to get me in trouble. My point of view here is simple. I'm trying to bring good stuff to the show. And I feel when he does, I mean, he is gold.
Starting point is 01:23:15 Follow him around for 20, 30 minutes. You're going to get something good. You record it. You bring it to the show and everyone loves it. That's it. He secretly records Abby and it's hilarious. Of course. And he makes fun of her.
Starting point is 01:23:26 He secretly record. But when it's done to him, all of a sudden, he don't like it. They don't like my shine. I'm a victim. You don't like Abby shine? What do you mean? When did I secretly record her?
Starting point is 01:23:36 You pranked her. Remember the time of, hey, Abby, we're going to get you a deal here. We got a show for you to go doing Vegas. Yes, I did. I pranked her. He pranked to you. I don't think he pranked to me. I think he follows me around and hides under my desk and hides in my trunk and is like,
Starting point is 01:23:49 oh my gosh, I got to get lunchbox. You know my theory? They're in love with each other. Oh. No, no, no. Yeah, they're secretly in each other. I don't love him. Definitely not it.
Starting point is 01:23:57 You should, did you hear the compliment that Eddie just gave you? He said that you're gold. You are gold. He wants to be me. No, no. Do you want to be him? No, absolutely not. I don't want to be Lunchbox.
Starting point is 01:24:07 He just said, I follow him around. Exactly. He's my little tail. I'm his tail Wow wow wow I would say it's probably 4852 on who tells on each other the most Eddie tells on you
Starting point is 01:24:24 Eddie you telling him like 52 But lunchbox tells on other people A whole lot I spread it out But yeah you two just always try to tell on people So you can get on the air Both of you That's what it is
Starting point is 01:24:34 It's like maybe we all need to adopt this method That's fine Thank you Jeff for that call Let's go over and talk to Ashley in Tennessee who's on the phone. Ashley, thanks for calling the show. What's going on? Hey, morning studio. Morning.
Starting point is 01:24:47 Hey, I wanted to know if Lunchbox heard about the couple that went to the Diamond Crater Park last week. Well, why are you getting mad at her? Sorry? No, he just got mad at you. And found what, Ashley? They found a 1.9-carat diamond.
Starting point is 01:25:04 Did you know that, Lunchbox? Yes, I've known that. Like, listen, anytime there's a story about the stupid diamond mine, I guarantee you I've heard it because all of you wonderful listeners send me a message, hey, did you see this story? So let me tell you, if you think
Starting point is 01:25:18 you're the first one, you're about the hundredth person that's already sent it. Why you hate on her? She called the show. She took time out of her morning. I'm not mad at her. You're yelling at her. I'm annoyed by her. There's a difference. She sounds like a nice person and she just wants to bring it to my attention, but she's really doing it is rubbing it in my face.
Starting point is 01:25:34 Is that right? Woman? I don't know her name. I just wanted to know what he thought about it. Like, I really do love lunchbox. I just wanted to know what he thought about it. I mean, I'm so happy for him. That's all. That's it. I mean, it's just annoying. I mean, everybody tags me in those stories and it's just like, all right, guys, I get it. They got lucky.
Starting point is 01:25:52 I get tagged in every kangaroo story there is. I don't care if it's fighting kangaroo. There's just a story about a kangaroo. That's funny. Yeah, there was a story about a wedding who had to stop the wedding because two kangaroos were fighting outside of the wedding. I got tagged a thousand times. I'd go both the kangaroos. If I was getting married and there was two kangaroos fighting, I walk out there and stop that crap.
Starting point is 01:26:10 Now if they were hunting on each other, I wouldn't because that's dangerous. But fighting? I'd be like, yo, stop. Let's go. I'll take both of you down. Yeah. Oh, wope a kangaroo. No, you won't.
Starting point is 01:26:18 All right. Okay. A woman, thank you. Thank you. Ashley, I hope you have a great day. You too, thanks. All right. Bye, bye.
Starting point is 01:26:26 And have a desire to eat crazy things. Like this woman, I don't know, she had to eat a phone charger. What? She had the desire to eat a phone charger. So she eats three foot long iPhone chargers. Wow. Oh. And she can't stop, apparently.
Starting point is 01:26:42 She's trying to get attention. Yeah. That's not the way. That's a bad attention. It's something else. A woman is suffering. She had to have emergency surgery after eating a three-foot-long iPhone charger cable. The unnamed woman suffers from PICA, a disorder where people try to eat in edible objects.
Starting point is 01:26:59 She was rushed to surgery after the cable became lodged in her esophagus. Gosh. That's from the Daily Mail, but it's like you see that. And there's something inside. It's like, got to eat it. Yeah. Weird. You need she's trying to get attention.
Starting point is 01:27:13 What else you see? No, this is the thing. You said the PIC. I know what I checked on mine. An iPhone cable. I do this with like a whole bag of grapes. Ooh. And I'm like, I can't stop eating the grapes.
Starting point is 01:27:24 Or like honey smacks. Like if I eat two boxes in a night. I'm like, I can't stop. But an iPhone charger, it's not even supposed to be eaten. Yeah, that's the thing. She likes to eat things that can't be eaten. Yeah, I don't know, man. Yeah, I don't know.
Starting point is 01:27:39 It's a disorder. I don't know, maybe she wants to always have a charter. There are a lot of times I don't have a charger on me. She just holds her phone close. Yeah, she reaches in. Like, you know how someone pulls out the dip from their mouth? Yeah, pull it out, the charge. Then she goes, all right, you need a charge.
Starting point is 01:27:52 All right, here you go. Man, that is tough right there. Okay, here you go. Here are the two options. And I'll read you the stories first. Steve Jobs, well-used Birkenstock sandals, sell for $218,000 at an auction. A pair of worn, old Birkenstocks,
Starting point is 01:28:08 worn by Apple founder Steve Jobs sold for over $200,000. They thought they would get about 80 grand. Wow. He wore these sandals as part of his uniform in the 70s and 80s. The last time they went for auction was 2016 when they sold for $3,000. So in 2016, they bought them for $300,000, and now they sold them for $200,000. That's quite the flip. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:28:29 That's the reality show. Oh, man. Flip these shoes from the Daily Mail. So there's your first option. And if you didn't know how much they sold for, I want you to, After I tell you the story, I'm telling you that so you can go, wow, but then I'll tell you the two things. The second one is a 1973 Fender Mustang that was smashed on stage by Kurt Cobain during Nirvana's first tour in 1989. It sold for nearly $500,000 in an auction.
Starting point is 01:28:54 An old beat-up guitar. It's got tape all over it, duct tape all around the neck on the bottom of it. The winning bid of $486,000 exceeded the estimate of what they thought was $200,000. They had this big event. It went for it. Now, let's remove the fact that one was 400 and one was 200. Both ridiculous amounts of money paid for these two things. Which one would you rather have in your house?
Starting point is 01:29:15 The guitar that was smashed by Kurt Cobain from Nirvana, or the Birkenstocks that were worn by Steve Jobs. They're in a case. You can never sell them. They're only for you to have. There's no price. You can never sell them. If you sell them, the minute that transaction happens, boom, you get shot in the head.
Starting point is 01:29:30 Oh, man. Don't sell them. That's been the contract. There's always somebody with a red dot on your head, everywhere you go in life. and as soon as you sell them, bow, they bop you. Which which are they have in your house under a glass case? Lunchbox. It's easy.
Starting point is 01:29:41 The guitar. I don't know anybody who cares about Steve Jobs. I would say far more people care about Steve Jobs than Nirvana. No. I use his products every day. Like Bill Gates, I'm not like, oh my goodness, it's Bill Gates. Oh, it's so cool to own a pen that Bill Gates had. But Steve Jobs is, his fame has had movies about him.
Starting point is 01:29:59 Like, he's had massive movies about him. No, I understand he created these products, but he didn't, like, it's not like he's a, He's just a nerdy guy. Okay, well, Kirk Cobain was just a guy who played a few chords on a guitar. No, not just a few. He rocked out and jammed and created a movement. A movement. I know I rocked out.
Starting point is 01:30:15 Eddie? Oh, Kirk Cobain guitar. Me too. I was just trying to push back a little bit to see if I could change his mind. Yeah. Kirk Cobain for sure. Amy? Yeah, the guitar.
Starting point is 01:30:22 It's also just cooler to have guitar. Right. Why don't we want shoes? I don't want dirty, smelly shoes. You can see the foot imprint in Birkenstock. That's gross. You could go full Jurassic Park, though, and have been a new, his new Steve Jobs, though.
Starting point is 01:30:33 Because you know there's DNA from his feet. I didn't think about that. But I'm not smart enough to do that. But if you hold them, well, you're not the one to do that. You got to get them to that dock. Oh. That does that. That's fictional.
Starting point is 01:30:46 And then they start a park with a bunch of Steve Jobs? Yeah, crap. And then we go and then the Steve Jogs run amok. They take over. And then we have to have an island. Oh, yeah. But I'm on an island. Yeah, that's a lot of money, man.
Starting point is 01:30:57 If you have the right, I got a couple cool things. Mine won't, mine doesn't go for stuff like this. I have a old microphone from Jack Parr. who was the Tonight Show host. It was pre-Johnny Carson. But I have an old microphone from that set. Not going to go for a ton of money, but like an old thing that's really valuable to me.
Starting point is 01:31:14 I have a Charlie Daniels fiddle. You do? A Charlie Daniels signed fiddle. Wow, that's really cool. He's the guy that went down to Georgia. Well, he went down. His buddy did. His buddy did.
Starting point is 01:31:25 Yeah. And his buddy was living there. His buddy was living there. Yeah, his buddy didn't go down there. Who went down to Georgia? Lucifer. Lucifer. Lucifer.
Starting point is 01:31:34 His buddy. Yeah, Lucifer came down and, you know, he was just like, you play a pretty good fiddle boy, but he just wanted his do. And what he did is he, it wasn't Draft Kings, but he made a bet. It was not Draft Kings. It was the time Draft Kings wasn't up and running. No. And, you know, he wanted to make a bet. And, you know, Lucifer thought he was better than Johnny.
Starting point is 01:31:54 And the boy said, well, my name's Johnny, and I'll take your bet. You're going to regret some of the best it's ever been. And they played the fiddle. And he did. And he rocked out like Kirk Cobain. Yeah, he did. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:32:04 Yeah. Bobby Bones Show Bonehead This story comes us from Rikers Island, New York. Three guards at the Rikers Island prison decided, hey, we need more time off work. We need to scam the system.
Starting point is 01:32:18 So they started writing fake doctor's notes saying, oh, you have a bad back, oh, you had surgery on your ankle, oh, you got pneumonia. They were writing them? Yes, they were writing them. They made fraudulent things. And so they each had a year off work
Starting point is 01:32:32 making over $140,000 each, and never going to work. A couple things. One, that's a lot of money to make. Even if you are working. That's a pretty good job. 140,000 bucks a year. Two, more than one is doing this,
Starting point is 01:32:47 which would be the sign to me that something's up. That would be the red flag. One of the couples is engaged. So they both, all of a sudden, were right their own notes. Yes, they were both, they're engaged, they both worked there, and they both had a whole year off work.
Starting point is 01:32:58 How'd they catch them? They started investigating, saw pictures of them on Facebook bowling. One person, posting stuff on Facebook. Yeah. And then they got involved and started checking their text messages. And it was like in a group chat, hey, you got unlimited sick leave. Yeah, living my best life.
Starting point is 01:33:15 Never have to go to work. True. It was best life. I got a side hustle painting houses, bowling. But they got busted. So what happens? They're all facing up to 10 years in prison. Oh, wow.
Starting point is 01:33:26 Oh, the same. But if they go have to go stay. That would be awesome. That's not good for the inmates. Hopefully they treated inmates. Hey, I know you. I'm Lunchbox. That's your bonehead story of the day. You know who Denise Richards is?
Starting point is 01:33:39 Yes. The actress? Yeah. She was married to Charlie Sheen for a while. Her and her husband, they were involved in a road rage incident, which led to them being shot out by the other driver. Oh, yikes. They were driving and trying to locate a movie set where she was due that day.
Starting point is 01:33:51 The other driver became irritated after passing them and just fired at the truck. No one was injured. Police were investigating. You never knew who has a gun inside their car. Mostly I say this to Eddie, who gets a bit of rage while driving. It sounds like Denise Richards and her husband were just trying to find a place. Like, this guy needs to settle down. But that's not the point.
Starting point is 01:34:08 The point of this is you never know who has a gun and could be having a bad day, and that's a bad mix. It's a toxic drink. I know, I know. That if you happen to cut somebody off or you're looking, oh, because they could have made a mistake or two driving, but it's the person who has the gun that they make a mistake or not. The other person still loses.
Starting point is 01:34:26 They have a gun. Well, obviously we weren't there, so I don't know how Denise was behaving, but they were on Real Housewives, and they had... express anger a lot. Oh, they do? Well, there you go. They were victims of a road raid shooting in Los Angeles. The actress was on her way to set.
Starting point is 01:34:40 Someone in nearby car fired. That's crazy. And people just have their guns and their cars ready to go. That's all I'm saying, Eddie. I know with you sometimes. Yes, only a few times. That's only happened a couple of times. No, it shouldn't happen once.
Starting point is 01:34:51 Has anybody ever waved a gun at you? No. No. My dad told me, though, that recently he was driving and he, like, gave someone the bird, and they showed him the gun. And he was like, okay. You win. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:35:04 Backed off. Oh my gosh. That's crazy, huh? It's probably very common that people have one ready to go. You don't know how many times Daddy someone's probably had their hand on their gun when you cut them off or something. When I'm finding with them. And they just didn't pull it out. Oh, that's scary.
Starting point is 01:35:16 You never know. Appreciate you listening. We will see you tomorrow right here on the Bobby Bone Show. All right.
