Have you been holding out on us?
No, just showing you where the real Hollywood stars are.

Oh, there's jazz, right?
And a drop.
You'll see.

Welcome to Wednesday show.
Morning Studio.
Morning!
There is no lunchbox here today because he is sick.
Oh, he's sick.
Well, he's been sick.
We've been like, stay home, bro.
He's like, I'm not.
Go, go, go, go, go.
Sounds way wrong.
And I keep telling him, stay home, stay home.
And so this morning, he said he was throwing up.
Great.
So we, we, I don't know.
We wish him the best.
Yes.
We hope he's able to be here tomorrow and the next day.
But no lunchbox is today.
Maybe we'll check in with him on the phone a little.
little bit. So let's get started. I'm already off because just recently he wasn't coming in.
I'd plan for him to do his thing here. So Eddie, this is where we start the show and we do 15 seconds
of whatever we want to talk about. Eddie, you're up first. Here we are. Let me introduce you.
Producer Eddie, everybody. Go ahead. So what's the rule in this situation? I really don't know how
it works, but the YMCA that I go to has one basketball hoop. And it's really like first come,
first serve. So if you're already there and somebody shows up with a ball, just I don't know what
the scenario is. But what happened was my kids were already there. They're shooting hoop.
And then some guy shows up, he pulls a ball out of his bag and starts sharing the hoop with him.
And I was like, and then I start stepping up like, no, no, no.
We're like, hey, boys, let's play a game.
So we kind of isolate him.
So we start doing like a game with my kids.
That way he gets the idea of like, hey, man, this is our hoop.
We were here first.
But I don't know what to do here.
Is it a shareable hoop?
General rule is if there is not a game being played when you arrive, you can shoot.
It's an open shoot for anybody and everybody.
You can have seven people shooting at once.
Now, if there's a game being played, you can't hop on and.
start shooting. That's why I decided to make up
a dumb game with my three. You started shooting before you got
started to make it. You started playing the game once he was
already shooting which you can't do.
It's not a good feeling, man. You're wrong.
You're about to drain a three and then his shotguns. You're not
draining threes. Knocks my ball out. That's not happening
at all. I didn't like it. Eddie, we've played basketball before.
The last time we played, Caitlin was just dominating him and he was like
I don't want to play anymore. I get tired. He gets tired.
I don't have a lot of endurance. But no, the
rule is anybody can come up and shoot.
I hate that. And it's got to be like a
three, three or four four game in order to
people off that are shooting. Okay. So you... Hey, the other day this dad was there with his son
one-on-one and I had to say like, you know what, that's theirs, their training, they were here
for us. And that's nice of you. But that's not the rule? Yeah. Okay. Let's go over to Amy. Here she is.
Amy, everybody. Amy, say a little something to us today. Okay, so I finally did the iPhone update,
but not by choice. My daughter clicked the button and then it set it up to automatically do it.
Was it a nightmare for you? Yeah, I had been avoiding it. And because you told me, yeah.
My phone slow. Your phone slow, your back.
battery's going to die faster, all the things.
The little voice to text is so confusing.
Now my voice to text is Lunchbox's voice.
Yeah.
No, it really is.
I can't send voice text anymore with ease.
Well, now you've got to push a different button and then push.
It's complicated.
I don't love it, but the good thing about it is if other people have the update,
you can now eliminate text that you've sent if you didn't mean to send it.
Right.
Meaning I got a text with somebody and I didn't realize that was on a group text.
Let's just say Eddie, text me something about you, Amy.
This didn't happen at all, so I'm going to use you people.
And Eddie goes, yeah, hey, we're going to see Amy tomorrow.
And I was like, great.
I wish I'm not wearing that stupid hat again.
And then I realized you're also on that group text.
And I'm like, oh, God, I mean to say that.
You can then wipe it away.
That's what happened to me.
Completely different scenario where I said something to somebody,
but I didn't realize that other people were on.
And I was like, ooh, boop.
I eliminated it, and it was gone.
That's cool.
Boom.
Yes, it is.
But it's slow.
I don't like the update.
They'll fix it soon.
I'm sorry you had to go through that.
Well, but what about the battery dying?
Can they fix that?
It's dying so.
My phone is dying so fast.
Well, maybe, yeah.
Is your charger work?
Yeah.
I thought that you said that the battery was dying fast.
My battery is fine.
It just doesn't move as fast anymore.
It's not connecting.
I keep a lot of windows open.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
That could be it.
That could be a lot of things there.
All right, thank you, Amy.
We're going to go to Ray Mundo today.
Lunchbox isn't here.
So, Ray Mundo's going to do 15 seconds.
All right.
So our audio producer, the guy who gets here at 1 o'clock in the morning, even though he doesn't have to.
Ramundo.
Yeah, so I was with my niece and nephew.
They were in town for the weekend, and we went to Target, and we were strolling around
I will say there was a lot of people in there pretty packed,
but I was shocked to see an actual country celebrity at high tide on a Saturday at Target.
Yeah, I guess seeing them at Target would be cool,
but when everybody is there is a little different.
Yes, and that wasn't the shocking part.
The shocking part was they were wearing sunglasses inside the store.
Was it because did they have an eye surgery?
Because the sunglasses are tough because they make you look even douchier.
Let's be honest.
Yes.
I mean, if...
Unless there's something with the eyes.
Or it's Eric Church, you wear sunglasses everywhere.
That's what he's known for.
Right.
Or unless you are Mike Trout, fully dressed for a game,
and it's sunny, and he's wearing...
He's outfield ball.
Yeah, I don't know, man.
It's hard for me to justify sunglasses inside.
Go ahead.
I got four options, or I can just tell you who it was.
Give me the options.
Okay, we have Miranda Lambert.
She's such a celebrity.
I would go...
Okay, I get it.
She had to go to Target.
But still, the sunglasses that make people look at you more.
Yeah, but for some women,
like, ugh, they just don't want to, if they just want to go run errands.
It's not even about getting recognized, but it's about how you feel you look.
Still sunglasses.
Go ahead.
We're a hat.
Next one up, Kelsey Ballerini.
Could be Kelsey.
Yeah, what else?
Carly Pierce.
Probably not.
I think Carly's a little more normal.
And would also probably be happy if people came up to her.
She's still at that stage, which is good.
Yeah.
Yeah, what else?
Chris Young.
Oh, we've got a dude in here.
Whoa.
Oh, Kerbaw.
Shake it up a little bit.
It'd be hilarious if it was Chris Young.
I don't think it was because three, I don't think he'd put one dude up against three women.
If you were Chris Young, I'd L-O-L.
But I don't think it is.
Who are you going to go with Eddie?
Kelsey.
I'm going to go with Kelsey, Amy.
I guess Chris Young.
Ray, are we right at all?
No.
Oh.
Who is it?
This celebrity and their person.
that they were with were both wearing sunglasses, and it was Carly Pierce.
Wait.
Was it really, really a bright outside and they forgot?
No, no, no.
They were in the store.
Two people.
Oof, that ain't a good luck.
They can't have two styes, could they?
Unless they're contagious, Eddie, when you had one, could I've gotten it from you?
Not that I know of.
That would be like me.
If I ever wore sunglasses in a store, you guys would be like, hey, bro, you need to check
yourself real quick.
Dang.
Oof.
Hmm.
Yeah, and they were, uh,
walking very quickly
from all the paparazzi
I mean the store was jam packed
Okay
What did you think about it when you saw them?
Well I didn't want to picture
But they were in disguise
And walking so quickly
And I was with my nephew
And I'm like I don't want to freak this kid out
That's like my mailman
We're in disguise
Like we know one from our neighborhood
But we're not
Was the person she was with
Famous at all?
No
Maybe they're dating
I don't know
Hmm
Was it the person she's dating
I think she has a boyfriend
Yeah it was her dude
It's not famous
No
Okay
He's wearing sunglasses with her as a sign of you.
I don't know, man. That's weird.
We're losing her, boys.
We're losing Carly Pierce.
She's going to the dark side.
Okay.
All right, you ready for me, Ray?
Yep.
From Mount Pine, Arkansas, he's really funny,
and he hates when he gets a little tummy.
Bobby Bones.
Thank you.
We finished peripheral.
It's over on Amazon.
I loved it.
Recommend it.
If you like,
I don't want to say sci-fi
because that puts a nerd stamp on it.
But it's a little bit that.
But if you like Matrix and stuff like that,
you'll like peripheral.
But we've started a show called Tulsa,
and it's really the first show we've ever pursued on Paramount Plus.
Tulsa. Sounds familiar.
Sylvester Stallone's in it.
It's a Taylor Sheridan show who did Yellowstone.
He's in the mob, and for 25 years he's in prison because he won't talk.
So he finally gets out, and they're like, yo, bro, you're a little too old.
He's like, no, for 25 years, I kept my mouth shut for you guys.
We need to go to Tulsa and start the mob there.
Oh, wow.
And so it comes out every Sunday.
I think we're two or three episodes in.
It's like an 84% of Rotten Tomatoes.
but we like it.
What is the time of year?
The time of year?
Well, because I don't know.
He said same creator as Yellowstone,
and what I couldn't get on board with for Yellowstone
regarding Yellowstone for so long.
It's current.
It's today.
Okay, okay.
I just didn't know if there's a time period.
Like what time?
It's today.
And he's like,
it wouldn't be cool if they invented like a phone that also you could like
look stuff up?
Sylvester.
Every once in a while, yeah.
But he's huge.
He's 75 or so and he's still like big.
Yeah.
But it's called Tulsa.
We like it.
He sounds like Rocky.
at all? Oh yeah, he's like, yo, what to deal with the
Tulsa, huh? I've never even been to the state before,
huh? It's like a, it's like a butt crack
in America. And I'm like, and Caitlin's
from Tulsa, so she's like, no,
it's not, it's awesome. She's yelling at the TV.
So that's what we are. Glad you guys
are here. Thank you very much.
Time to open up the mailbag.
You send an email
and we read it on the air.
It's something we call Bobby's
mailbag. Yeah. Hello,
Bobby Bones. I have three kids.
975.
They can be a handful.
I wanted to try a new method to get them to behave leading up to Christmas.
They're good kids, but sometimes they make me want to pull my hair out.
I got this idea from a meme on Facebook.
I wrap some empty boxes and I put them under the tree.
I told them, when they misbehave, I'll pick one of the empty boxes,
and I thought right in the garbage of the fire pit.
They don't know it's an empty box.
They think it's one of their actual gifts.
I enforced it for the first time over the weekend.
My wife thinks it's cruel.
Do you think this will traumatize my kids,
or is it a good way to get them to behave over the holidays?
Signed, Mr. Grinch.
I've seen that meme, too.
Okay.
Hilarious.
Parenting tips from memes?
Not a good...
All memes are based in truth.
Some sort of truth.
Amy, what do you think about that?
Punishment.
I don't like it.
Listen, I'm not an expert, so I don't know what kind of...
It could just be little tea.
That's what we call little trauma that you're creating there.
I don't know how that's going to pan out, but I don't like it, and it's cruel.
I'm with your wife.
Eddie?
I feel like the whole point of a kind of...
discipline and all that so that they can learn from it.
This is something they're never going to forget.
I like it, Bones.
I mean, yes, little T, sure.
But this is going to be one of those things.
Every Christmas they give it, oh my gosh, I remember I was really acting up and my dad did this.
But you know what?
I learned from that.
I'll never do that again.
Some little T's are advantageous to you later in life.
But.
No but.
You go on, bones?
The dad can prevent.
As a parenting expert, myself, being a dad of two dogs.
Uh-huh.
No kids.
I find that ages 9, 7, and 5, this is hilarious.
Yes!
And for my personal enjoyment only, I'm going to say, yes, please continue to do that.
Maybe at Christmas, though, you tell them what really happened.
Oh, yeah, don't wait too long.
Don't wait forever.
And you won't be able to do it next year because they'll be let in on it.
Right.
The poor 5-year-old, that's already, like, in his brain.
The 9-year-old's like, yeah, right, who cares?
Exactly.
Ah, you know, I'm into it.
I think it's hilarious.
You have to let them know, though, after Christmas.
There were no gifts in those boxes.
Okay, well, then you've given your, you're up.
This year's your only year, you get to do that.
Yeah, that's what I said.
And I got whooped as a kid.
So, but that wasn't good.
But I remember that vividly.
It's about remembering, man.
You make a mistake.
I don't think parents should whoop now.
No, well.
Right.
Unless.
I'm okay with it.
It's hilarious.
That's the only reason I'm okay with it.
I don't have kids.
What do you need for me?
Thank you for that, but we got a split decision here.
If you do, let us know how it goes.
And they hit us back in 18 years when your kids are adults in therapy talking about it.
We want that update for sure.
All right, that's it.
Close the mail bag.
We've got your email and we've read it on the air.
Now it's about to close Bobby's mailback.
Yeah.
It's a Bobby Bones show interview.
In case you didn't know.
When I first got on TikTok, many, many, many, many moons ago,
I started following Jacks, J-A-X.
And she would just sit, play songs, do funny versions of songs.
And she slowly started to get bigger and bigger.
Now she's massive.
She's got a record deal.
She's got millions of TikTok.
followers. She has this song called
Victoria's Secret.
And 90s kids is another song.
Big songwriter, but she got massive on TikTok.
I'm a big fan. We have J-A-X.
Jacks on now.
On the Bobby Bone's show now.
Jacks. What's happening?
What's it?
Is that the angle where you do your TikToks right there with that microphone?
This is it. I don't use the microphone, but it's the entire backdrop of my TikTok.
And is that a living room, a bed, like what is that?
Because I've been a big fan of yours for a long time.
So what exactly is that area of the house?
So it used to be like my actual living room in my one bedroom that I started all at the TikTok's in.
And I eventually moved into a house.
And now it is its own tiny little room.
Did you recreate anything from that original room?
Yeah, all of it.
Oh, that's fine.
It's like a set almost.
Yeah, I brought it all.
I couldn't.
Like, you know, I'm like kind of super.
superstitious and things were just going so well. And I was like, I can't necessarily that.
I guess who knows it could be the backdrop. That is the reason that people are coming back.
You're so talented. And, you know, again, I would just, I just followed you randomly on TikTok because
you came up on my for you page a long time ago. And then, but you're also very relatable in a lot of
the things that you talked about or saying about. Is it hard now because you are famous and you do
have really cool people that like you to still maintain some sort of relatability while you also are
getting this new level of success. First of all, thank you. And second of all, I, the best part
about right now of my life is that I'm meeting people that have been following me on the internet
for a long time in person doing shows. And that has been like so humbling. I get to hear like a
bigillion different types of stories, people's journeys and with their bodies and stuff right now.
So that that's more like group therapy for me right now. And I think like as far as the Hollywood life
goes, the only real strange difference for me is, um,
like getting recognized in like public settings.
But other than that, I'm kind of a homebody.
So I just set up my house like to lock myself in here until we go on tour.
So I don't really go out much.
Is there a pressure now to continue to produce, you know, elite content now that you are one of TikTok's elite musical?
I don't want to say creations, but, you know.
Am I an elite?
Yeah.
I think so.
Are you asking me to like be an elite right now?
Is this what everybody wore me about?
I think you are one of the big TikTok success stories, at least in my world.
And so I wonder now if you have attached that pressure to you to continue doing that.
Yeah, I think there's like a, the biggest pressure of all of it, I think, is making sure that I,
amidst posting my like goofy content and posting my original music as well, especially like,
you know, now that we're kind of scheduling promotional things and stuff like that, it's like not as
easy as just putting it dropping songs on tic-tok and seeing what happens every two days so um i think yeah keeping
up with the app as like just a creator on the app and keeping up with the music at the same time has been
a tricky balance but it's still fun what's been your musical story because obviously you've you learned
to play music at a very young age or it seems like that because you're so good like when did you start
playing music and what was the dream and were you already on a path to that dream before you blew up
I mean, I have been writing a song since I was a small little child and on stage at a very young age just doing like theater and eventually joining like pop punk bands of a bunch of teenage guys and on the road for a while and living out of like vans and stuff to try to get people listen to my music. So I've been doing it for a while in different chapters and phases. But songwriting for me has always been like the number one thing because.
I like to write for not only myself, but for other artists as well.
And that journey just never stops because I'm just still learning every day.
Every day I feel like I'm like, hey, maybe I'm good.
And then like a really, really good writer will come in the room and you're like, I'm not good yet.
We'll get there.
Did you ever get to a point in Los Angeles where you were like, maybe not that it's not going to work, but you were just like, I don't know if this is going to work.
Like I am just struggling.
Yeah.
I mean, you would be like a superhero to not.
feel that way if you move to Los Angeles at any point. Like Hollywood alone is so intimidating and it's
such a cutthroat business. So when I came out here, I came out here like completely on my own
paying all the bills figuring it all out myself and at a young age. And I honestly like there was
a point where I was like there is no way this could ever be possible. Like no matter how hard I try.
I was, you know, two songs a day, three songs sometimes in triple sessions.
You write and you write and you write.
And especially when you're writing for other people, like there are so many writers out here.
So it's such a big, big seat.
And like you feel like you have the one.
And like sometimes you're just ghosted and it's exhausting because you don't really get paid to do it until something works.
So I think for a long time, I was freaking out for sure.
When you bring the girl on that you babysit or used to babysit, like when's the last time you babysat her?
Because I just feel like you're so big now.
Why would you be babysitting?
It's actually the opposite.
Now I like babysit more.
I like, first of all, because I am like somehow accidentally branded babysitter, especially to like kids 11 and younger, I, when I do collaborations with the kids, parents are like, okay, here you go.
And they'll just chop your kid off.
And I'm like, all right, I get some babysitter for like 12 hours and making content, which is.
It's really funny, actually.
But, yeah, no, I babysat Chelsea.
Last time I saw Chelsea, but except this time her dad was here was two weeks ago.
And I'm actually going to see her tonight or tomorrow night.
And we're going to be babysitting tonight and making some videos.
That's crazy.
Yeah.
I think I babysit just to make videos.
Like, let me borrow a kid just to make videos.
And I promise they won't get into anything.
I mean, essentially, that's a weird way.
That's kind of what it is.
Like on the internet, people are always like, oh, like, how do you find?
these kids and honestly I am like having baby fever right now so my whole for you page on
TikTok is just very talented intelligent goofy babies and all of them to me are like oh my gosh I have to
get this kid here oh my gosh I have to get this kid here I'm basically like babysitting
vicariously through these parents on TikTok so what is your most most stream video most views do you
know with Chelsea it's the babysitter part two TikTok where she's talking about all
things we don't tell her mom when her mom is gone. I saw you guys do a flash mob outside of
Victoria's Secret. Like it was in an outdoor mall type thing. So when you do that, how much do you
practice to get ready for that? And do you do it multiple times? Because you can't really flash twice,
can you? Bobby, I swear, that was like the most stressful day of my entire life. First of all,
just because like we didn't really consider a game plan if we were to get in trouble, right? And we
This was a literal flash mob company of professional dancers that we hired off of the internet.
It was like 110 degrees with no AC.
We met up at a dance studio.
And we rehearsed for probably an hour max.
And they already knew what they were doing because they're amazing.
And they kind of all the dancers like kind of created their parts with a choreographer and stuff like that.
And then invited me in last second because I just like, I'm like, I'm not going to even attempt to choreograph this because I suck.
And I had about 11.
I would argue 30 minutes of.
you're rehearsing and then we got we just all drove to the outdoor mall and we're like okay
let's just do it and we filmed it on an iPhone and then what happens after does anyone say you have to
go like what what's the aftermath of that so actually funny enough the coughs did show up um but they were
like you know that's the thing about a flash mob you only get one take so like if no one's on the
scene within the two minutes and like 45 seconds that the song is there then what are they going to do
like break it up but like they came and they were actually rocking out so the cops weren't like
super mad i think maybe someone called the cops i don't know who i don't know if they look super stoked
inside of that Victoria's Secret because granted these are just like young kids working at
Victoria's Secret they're like what the heck what any holiday plans any Christmas plans jacks
I'm going to see my family and my boyfriend's family and um we're going to chill in an Airbnb

Here are some things you ought to know today.
People who switch their car insurance to Geico save about $900 a year.
Experts are calling that nice to know.
Also, plants can hear when bees buzz.
My phycus just heard that.
And finally, animal experts have confirmed that goats have
regional accents.
I'm getting a hint of Irish there.
It feels good to get good news.
It feels good to Geico.
It's time for the good news.
With Amy.
Tell me something good.
Imagine this.
You're a housekeeper.
You're also pregnant.
You decide to play the lottery.
You go into labor.
You give birth and you win the lottery in the same day.
She bought a $3 powerball ticket and she gave birth and then
realized all the numbers she selected, winning ticket.
She went to the lottery office in North Carolina,
and after taxes, she's taken home $65,000,
and she plans to use most of the money to pay for her house.
She must want $100,000.
Yeah.
With that tax breakdown.
You know what?
I hate to break this to Brenda,
but she's probably going to have to pay for the delivery with the baby with that money.
What do you mean?
Unless she has insurance?
Well, even with insurance, dude,
I remember how to pay $40,000 for my first kid with my first job insurance.
It was crazy.
I'm like, I don't want to have a baby again, ever.
Hey, Scoob, you just had a kid with our insurance.
Yeah, I mean, even without insurance, I don't know if it costs that much.
I think with insurance that we have, it's going to cost us for the entire pregnancy from when we found out we had a kid to come out, about $7,000.
That's terrible insurance.
You sure they were insuring you?
Well, it was C-section.
So you got to have, like, anesthesia and part of that.
And then, like, the spinal tap and all.
I remember charge after charge after charge.
Why do you want to bring her down?
She's trying to put it on her house.
Yeah, I'm just saying.
Also, yeah.
It doesn't say anything in the story about whether or not she gave birth at a hospital.
It just says here she went into labor and delivered her daughter.
So maybe she had a home birth and she did it all herself.
Maybe.
You know, free.
She named the kid Little Ball.
Little ball.
If you slow it down, it's Lotto Ball.
Oh.
So dumb.
A little Lottable.
Your name's Lottable?
Yeah, what do they name you after?
Well, my mom won the lottery the same day.
If you say it's slow, it's a lotto ball.
You always have to do something.
If you win something or you have a baby on some big day, you have to name it after them.
That's what's up.
That is what.
What's all about?
That was Tell Me Something Good.
He's sick, but he's on the phone right now.
He's brave for even doing that.
Here he is, everybody, Lunchbox.
Lunchbox, how are you, buddy?
Oh, man, I heard the show's not going so well this morning.
Actually, I just looked highest ratings they ever had.
Yeah.
I don't know about that.
Man, I'm coming to you live from my bed.
What's wrong?
A couple nights ago, my middle child threw up a couple times.
And then the oldest child, the next two days, had diarrhea.
We can just go, what's wrong with you?
Yeah, no details.
We don't need the full family tree of illity.
Go ahead.
That's where we're going to get.
And then last night, I woke up in the middle of the night and I got both.
Oh, both ends.
No, again, I don't need to know that specifically.
That's tough, man.
Like, all we knew was that you threw up and we're fine with that.
And that was fine with just knowing that hole.
Yeah.
But that's not throwing up.
That's not throwing up, that's a, yeah.
That's as the song says, up down, up down, up down.
So you're talking to us now.
Do you feel, feel bad?
Or is it just you don't feel safe?
No, I don't feel bad.
I feel fine in between bathroom sessions.
Like, when I have to go puke and go do the other thing, I feel terrible.
What's wrong with you?
No, no, no, but once I get it out, I'm okay.
Oh, no, my God.
Okay, stop, stop, stop, stop.
Look, I'm just checking on him.
Is anybody concerned that maybe he passed anything on to us?
No, I haven't seen him in a few days.
We're good, I think.
I feel okay.
And I don't sit next to him.
I do, but I've been with you, so we're good.
That's true.
Lunchbox.
Well, we hope...
Can I...
Okay, yes.
Wait, can I tell you the good news?
Do I need to have a Tell Me Something Good clip ready or what?
Yeah, yeah.
Okay, we can play The Lunchbox tell me something good.
All right, here we go.
It's time for the good news.
With Lunchbox.
Tell me something good.
I've had five row-up sessions, and I've only passed out three of those times.
Passed out.
Why are you passing out when you throw up?
I'll pass out when I throw up.
That's your answer.
Fun fact about you?
I mean, that's a...
Fun fact that every time I puke, I usually pass out.
But this time I've only done it three out of five times.
But when...
Define pass out.
Yeah, when do you pass out?
Is it like when you're done, in the middle of it?
What does that mean?
I just depends.
Sometimes it's in the middle.
Sometimes it's like when I'm done, but then I just wake up and I'm next to the toilet.
I'm like, what am I doing here?
What?
No way.
Why have we never known this about you?
He wakes up with a foreign accent playing piano, like those people who are going for brain surgery?
Get out of year.
I swear to you, Eddie, you think I'm lying.
dude like I wake up and I'm just on the cold floor and it takes me a minute to come to and realize
oh I was throwing up in the toilet and I know when I'm going to pass out because the back of my
neck starts sweating and I can feel the tingles in my fingers and I know okay we're going
do you keep a pillow close by do you pass out on the down I put towels like when you the other
the other hole you pass out there no no no I don't okay what is it do you have you asked a doctor
about this?
Yeah, one time I went to the ER for it and they gave me an EKG on my heart and everything
said I'm fine.
How have we never heard this story until now?
Ever.
Years and years and years together.
Well, we hate that you're sick.
We need you to be better by tomorrow because the St. Jude Radiothon is tomorrow.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Okay.
And if not, that's okay.
But take care of yourself, buddy.
Drink a lot of water.
Drink some pediolite too.
And we'll see you soon.
No rush to get back.
I mean, again, the ratings have never been better.
I don't know why that today they're so good, but the ratings have never been better.
Oh, boy.
All right.
Well, I mean, I'm just glad you guys are checking on me, and if anybody wants to send me care packages?
No, there's no care packages.
All right, go back.
Get out of here.
There's lunchbox who's sick today and not in.
Let's go over and talk to Josh in Virginia, who's on the phone.
Hey, morning, studio.
Morning.
There's an elephant in the room, and I think it needs to be addressed by some of the mainstream artists.
I know everyone has seen what happened with a check.
Taylor Swift tickets and the scalping that went on about how tickets, you know, went from $600 to $3,200.
Well, the same thing just happened with the Tyler Childers tickets.
I don't know if you saw that too.
What can be done about these scalpers and what should be done?
So I tell you a personal story first.
The show that I did at the win in Las Vegas was a ticket master show.
Now, I don't sell tickets to where if they all sell fast.
the tickets go up in price.
Some artists will allow that, meaning there's a word, there's a term for it,
meaning the more in demand they get, the more expensive they are.
I would compare it to you're getting a flight on Southwest.
And the fewer seats are left, the more those seats cost.
So if there's two seats left, they may be $500 seats because you didn't get there early.
So there is that that happens.
And that is, the answer is legislation.
However, here's what happens to me.
I go to the wind.
Ticketmaster's the biggest.
They have all the infrastructure.
They're easy to use.
So I use them, but I don't set my tickets like that.
It's called a dynamic pricing.
Mine are just boom, straight through.
But they have bots now.
They can go and buy a bunch of tickets quickly
and then immediately list them and resell them.
So I come on the air and go, don't buy the resale tickets.
And maybe you've heard me say that so much that it's annoying to people.
But a ticket that would cost $90, $70,
depending on where you sit at the show at my shows,
is $600.
And I'm going,
I ain't that funny.
Don't buy those tickets.
Because I don't make the money.
You know,
the charity that we work with
for every single show
doesn't make any money.
It's literally just the person
who bought the ticket
and is reselling it,
which is a bot.
So what can the artist do?
Maybe not do dynamic pricing.
But the other way,
if tickets aren't selling
super well,
the prices can go down.
And it helps actually fill up the place.
So it's not just artists being selfish.
But it's,
really just legislation honestly they're going to have to do something to fix that and and you know
i i don't want to hate on just ticket master because this happens at a lot of different places they're
just the biggest so yeah it's very frustrating josh i absolutely agree and i try all that i can to make
sure people that want to come and watch me perform don't get suckered but i'm doing a theater of two thousand
a night and they're doing stadiums of 80,000 and they can't say that to everybody like i can so the
answer is it's got to become such a problem that somebody goes, hey, we need to step in and
create some rules that they cannot do this. And until that happens, and until it becomes something
popular for politicians to go, I want to do it, they're not going to do it because politicians
only do what they have to do to get reelected. So the answer is, the real answer is,
I give you a piece of advice, if there's an artist that you really love, get into their fan club.
It doesn't cost anything and you have first access to tickets. For example, if
Morgan Wallen has verified fan.
You can get in that and get tickets a bit early as a verified fan.
Taylor Swift has the same deal, although that was a whole different monster.
But Josh, there is no easy answer here.
Some artists have the clout to actually do what Eric Church does, but most don't, unless you're just massive.
And you can't fault the artist because everybody's just trying to work, make their living, provide for their family.
But I appreciate you asking that, and I wish I had a better answer.
I wish I had a better answer for me, too, because I've tried different.
things. And I found my best technique is to get on and go, don't buy those tickets. Don't buy
resale tickets. But it also leaves sometimes empty seats in places because they weren't able to
resell them for five times the amount. And there's a block of four seats. And I'm like, I guess
everybody hates me now. Nobody wants to go on show. And I'm all sad and freaking out. But in reality,
the ticket was bought. Yeah. Buy a bot. But it was still bought at the original price. And it still
counts as a set. But I'm like, I guess everybody hates me now. I'm never going to make it.
Josh, that's what I have for you, buddy. I'm sorry, that's not a better answer. But that's
what I got right now.
Hey, anything help, right?
I mean, I think people need to be more aware of don't buy, you know, the resell tickets.
I mean, unless you have that type of money.
Right.
I mean, for your instance, for your show, if you notice that your Las Vegas show sold out within
five minutes, do you kind of scratch your head and like, hey, that's not right?
I think we need to cancel these and resell them, or do you just let it ride?
I don't have that kind of authority, honestly, to go.
Let's cancel the show.
I'm not Eric Church.
And I didn't sell it in five minutes.
I did sell out in a day, which I thought was really good.
And I would say it was probably like 15% bots who bought the tickets.
So that's not so much that I'm like, okay, everybody's getting screwed.
But it was enough so I could come on and go, don't buy those tickets.
I'm not worth it.
And we're going to do a second show and that got messed up.
But yeah, you've got to have a lot of power to cancel a show.
And church, there's only a few artists that can do that.
So don't fault the artist.
Just try to be a verified fan or get in the fan club because you do get early access to stuff.
That would be my best advice.
Okay.
All right.
I wish I could fix it.
Yeah, I mean, listen, I think I should be ruler of the world and fix stuff like this.
Well, maybe when you do get into politics, you can.
Mm-hmm.
If.
This is why I get in.
Or end of the world.
Well, you would be the one that would understand this is the problem and want to...
Yeah, not even so much about the music part.
It's just the people.
For the people.
They want to do stuff and they can't.
Yeah.
Josh, thanks, buddy.
Hope you have a great day.
All right, y'all too.
This is John, who left us voice.
Smell from Brisbane, Australia.
Good morning, Bobby Bones and Studio.
Morning Corny.
What do you call a snowman in the sun?
A puddle.
All right, studio.
Have an awesome day.
I love it.
It's just funnier with an accent.
It doesn't matter what you say.
This is Roger from Pittsburgh.
Good tidings, Bobby Bones.
I was just calling to wish everybody a happy holiday season.
And I wanted to thank all of you for putting a smile on my face.
every morning and making me laugh, even when I don't feel like it.
So thank you.
I hope you guys have a great holiday season.
Bye.
Bye.
Thank you very much.
Call us any time.
Leave us a voicemail day or night.
877-77 Bobby.
Here's Amy's pile of stories.
Christmas time is primetime for porch pirates.
More than 200 million packages have already been stolen from porches this year,
and it's only going to pick up in the next month leading up to Christmas.
So in order to avoid people stealing packages from your porch, there's some interesting recommendations out there.
Like, for one, some areas are having their packages delivered to police departments that are nearby.
I would just worry I would get lost, though.
If there is a stop in the middle, I worry that that is going to cause the package to get lost.
Well, the police departments that are doing this, they're inviting the residents.
Hey, send your packages to us. We got you. We'll have them.
And then you come pick them up.
Officer Wilson trying to do a little porch pirate in himself, it sounds like.
I mean?
You could also have your packages delivered to work because you're guaranteed to, like, see it during
the day.
That's not true.
I get stuff here all the time and it always gets stolen.
Yeah.
Or the Lashbox goes and opens it and goes, I want that.
Exactly.
Like, that's my mail.
Okay, what about asking a neighbor to be on the lookout for delivery?
That can do.
You can look out for each other or just watch to see who's coming to the door.
And then another option is arranged to have the packages delivered to areas that are hidden
from the streets.
So maybe you put a note that says, leave this behind this pot or bush or side door or whatever.
I get a text sometimes from FedEx or what's the other, what's the yellow one?
D.HL.
Yes, DHL.
Like, who even knows that exists except they show up?
And I'm like, oh, yeah.
Yeah.
And they say, hey, this is coming.
We can get a signature or you can push this button here and we don't need a signature.
And you write a little note and go leave it so-and-so.
Oh, that's cool.
You can also hire a sniper.
Oh, no, yeah.
Like on the roof.
Yeah, we're up and somebody comes up.
Dang.
They get a little red dot on them.
Got to make a decision quick.
All right, what else?
Congratulations to Eugene, Oregon.
They are the number one in road rage.
Oh, you know, I talked to the program director from Eugene at the Vegas show.
She came to the show, and she was super nice, so I don't believe the story.
I base it all on her.
Have you seen her driving?
I have not.
Okay, and then this whole study was done about road rage all across the country,
and men are the demographic that are more susceptible to road rage.
Because we get challenged and we're competitive, and our manhood gets challenged,
because we're stupid.
Minivan drivers are the most likely to break check other drivers.
Those are women.
Pickup trucks.
Hey, I know I have seen men driving.
Yes, and I've seen women drive pickup trucks, but I think most of them, if you looked at who's buying them, it's men drive trucks.
But there are a lot of women truck drivers.
There are a lot of women's women's women that drive trucks, but mostly I see men.
Yes.
Well, if you are driving a pickup truck, you're the most likely to flip someone off.
Okay.
Sports car drivers are the ones most likely to cut someone off,
and then Eddie, listen up,
because Jeep drivers are the most likely to refuse to yield.
Oh.
Ooh, I like to yield?
To what?
Whatever.
You like to yield?
Anyone needs to get in?
Anyone that says they like to yield?
Listen, if I see a signal that they want to get in front of me,
go ahead.
I'll wave them on through.
Depends what kind of car it is.
Okay.
All right, what else?
Dolly Parton revealed that she plans to release a rock album in the fall of next year.
It's going to be called Rockstar, and she said it a little,
include original songs and covers of songs like Purple Rain, Satisfaction, Stairway to Heaven,
and Freebird.
Do you know why?
Because she was asked to be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
She's inducted, yeah.
And she was like, no, I can't take that away from rock artists that deserve to be there.
And then the Hall of Fame was like, well, too bad.
You're in here.
So she's like, okay, then I'm going to come on over and do a rock album.
So to make it.
Which the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is basically the Music Hall of Fame.
Sure.
Just rock and roll kind of encompassed pop music.
When it was invented, like it was rock and roll.
But then pop music now is hip hop, rock and roll, alternative,
which could be different than rock country if you're massive.
So they should have put Dolly in.
I thought that was ridiculous that people were arguing about it.
And now that's she going to do a rock record.
It's going to be totally fun.
That's cool.
Okay.
I made me.
That's my pile.
That was Amy's pile of stories.
It's time for the good news.
With Bobby.
Tell me something good.
Wichita, Kansas resident Tyler Revel dozed off while watching football.
And when he woke up, it was smoke everywhere, as far as he could see, very thick.
And so he only woke up because his dog continued to like budge him with his head.
And he was like annoyed first.
Like, stop, I'm trying to sleep, trying to sleep.
But then he's like, oh my God.
So he couldn't breathe.
And so he and the dog run through the smoke like a race car that's like, okay, we can't see.
We're just going to run through it.
They run through it.
They get to the door.
They escape unharmed.
But he said, had the dog not nudged him right then, the house would have been in flames.
Amazing.
And he'd have been dead.
And you wonder if that dog was waking him up for the human or for the dog.
Dog's like, I can't get out of here.
I need the human to wake up to get me out of here.
Either way, that dog, Monroe is a hero.
And it saved his owner's life, Tyler.
So shout out to Monroe.
That's what's up.
That is what it's all about.
That was tell me something good.
Here's a voicemail from Amanda in California.
Yeah.
Congrats, Eddie, on your blue checkmark.
I just have to say, justice for Mike C, we've got to give him blue checkmark.
One at a time, first.
Let's celebrate.
Eddie finally got verified.
Wow, on Instagram.
Can you believe that?
No.
It's crazy.
How long have we been trying to do this?
Since 19, 70 to 20.
Oh, that year.
Did you just look and see it?
Yeah.
Like, I just, well, first I got a lot of messages being like, congratulations.
Like, what are you talking about?
Because when you sign into your own, you really don't see it.
It's like at the very, very top.
But here's my question.
What do I do now?
You just live live live, buddy.
Nothing? Nothing changes.
It's a lot of effort, then nothing changes.
Really?
Apparently, like having a kid?
No, a lot changes.
Oh, it's a different.
A lot of happens.
All right.
Congratulations.
Thank you, man.
Let's go over to Amy and get in.
The morning corny.
The morning corny.
What is the best breakfast to eat in the winter?
What's the best breakfast to eat in the winter?
Frosted flakes.
She'd been on.
a good run.
Every good run must come to an end.
Okay.
I get it. Maybe.
I get it.
That was the morning
corny. Maybe it should be, what is the
snowman like to eat for breakfast?
Yeah, I just think it's... Frosted flakes.
Maybe.
You know, Costco has caskets now?
No, but I mean, hey,
caskets are expensive. If they got a deal, get them now.
So do you get like five or something?
You get a bulk. You can now
buy your own casket at Costco.
for far less than they charge it a funeral parlor,
about 700 bucks for a pretty good one versus 2,000.
But that's like money that you spend
that you never get to actually use.
Let's somebody else spend that money on you.
But you can buy it for a deceased person.
Like you can go to Costco.
You know, like if you died,
I'd go to Costco to get your casket.
I don't think I want to...
Here's the thing.
I don't want to...
I struggle with death because it just feels like
if I get cremated,
I can never come back to life.
And if you don't get cremated,
you could...
There's always a shot.
Okay.
I'm just, but I also don't want to be buried because what if I come alive and I'm trapped?
You can get out.
That's all I can see.
What if you come alive and you're being burned?
What's the worst?
You got to figure that out, man.
I don't know.
I think I, I just want to be left alone if I die.
Oh, just like in the woods and stuff?
No, just wherever I am.
Just don't move me.
What if you die in a restaurant?
I can't do that.
It's now my chilies.
Just, yeah, I'm just, you know, I always like to have a chance to come back.
What do you have, do you have, have you talked about this with Caitlin?
Like, what, what should she do?
God forbid something happens.
Nothing.
You don't have any plan in your will?
Yeah, leave me be because I want a chance to come back.
Put me on ice.
Freeze it up.
What's the time frame?
How much time do you want to try to come back?
A year?
Well, it's somewhere, no, forever.
Have you set aside money for that?
I got plenty around.
Just take it out of the bank.
No, I mean, yeah, that's a real thing.
I mean, I wouldn't be surprised if we find out later.
You have arranged to have yourself frozen.
We'll leave it there.

Redfin.com.
We had Jackson Dean in studio.
He performed. It was awesome.
This is his song that went number one.
Listeners loved it.
He's so good live.
So this is cool, though, because he tagged us in something,
and you can go back and look and see if there's any DMs that have been exchanged over the years.
Morgan found one.
How old was he when he sent us a DM?
He was 15 years old.
What?
That's crazy.
And what did it say in the DM?
He tagged us in a video of him singing his own song and he said,
I don't mean to be obnoxious, but my name is Jackson Dean.
I'm 15.
This is what I want to do for my life.
Please, if you have any thoughts about this song that I wrote, I would love to be on your show.
We never saw it.
He was 15 year old kid, but he sent us this video.
Do you want to hear him at 15?
Yes.
Here we go.
It's 30 there.
Right.
But isn't that goal he was 15 reaching out to us?
Yeah.
Man, what a hustler.
Like, just working.
I wish I would have known this when he was in.
I know.
It didn't pop up until we tagged him, and then it showed the previous messages he sent.
That's pretty cool, a 15 years old message.
We should play a song now, because, listen, we made him.
Oh, yeah, from 15, dude.
Hey, we've known this kid seems 15.
We'll see how quickly this narrative changes.
Here are your top three songs in country music.
At number three, Jelly Roll, son of a sinner.
Number two, Thomas Rett and Riley Green.
Half of me.
Half of me wants a cold.
And number one, Bailey Zimmerman, fall in love.
So those are your big songs there in country music.
What's weird is when Christmas music starts,
you don't have a bunch of moving
because a lot of those spots are taken by Christmas songs.
It's like, at number two, Alvin and the Chipmunks.
That's a jam.
So they just shut off the charts because of that.
All right, let's go over and do the news.
Bobby's Big.
Stories.
A thief card.
a father and the man's four young kids were in the vehicle at the time.
Oh no.
So the father got in the thief's car that he jumped out of and chased him down, saved his kids.
Love it.
Yes.
Jumped in the beater, caught him.
Wow.
The thief was able to run off because the guy went for the kids instead of the thief.
But, man, you still a car with kids inside?
It's just a whole different.
You're in far more trouble.
I'm surprised the dad didn't kill him.
Like, didn't catch him and kill him.
So that's from KSTP.
The Minneapolis Police Department is still investigating.
I don't know if they have any suspects or not,
but I'm glad the kids are safe.
But how about that dad?
Even sees the car, jumped in and got him.
Awesome.
A cruise ship passenger rescued from the ocean
is not sure how he went overboard.
Doesn't remember it.
What?
Drinking?
I don't know.
Pushed.
But does he remember?
And he's just embarrassed.
Because that would be embarrassing.
An Alabama man who rescuers pulled from the Gulf of Mexico
hours after he was reported missing hours.
Oh, my gosh.
Says he does not know how.
he wound up in the water.
James Michael Grimes, who tread at water for a large part of Thanksgiving Day before he was rescued,
does not remember falling off the ship.
He lost consciousness and simply awoke in the water.
I came to, I was in the water with no boat in sight.
That is terrifying.
Wow.
If true.
He had drinks on the valor, but he was not inebriated, he tells ABC.
He doesn't remember leaving to find a bathroom.
he simply regain consciousness in the ocean.
No, baby, I just regain conscious with her.
I don't remember anything that got me here.
I don't know.
What he's saying is probably true, but I don't know.
The next many hours, like 15 of them, he just tread of water.
15 hours.
Wild, too, you can be unconscious but still be a lot.
You can be conscious but not aware,
and you're still just treading water without even knowing what's going on.
That's what's fishy about it.
I get it.
Fishing?
In the water.
From CNN.
Joey Chestnut, you know who that is?
I feel like, yeah.
He eats all the stuff.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
The hot dog guy?
Yeah.
He wins a lot of stuff,
the hot dog most famous.
He loses a shrimp cocktail eating competition
the first time he's lost any event in eight years.
Wow.
Is he losing it or is it just shrimp?
I mean, he's getting older.
Dang.
It's like he's an athlete.
He's 39 years old.
He ended up fourth place in the shrimp cocktail eating contest,
but his first lost at anything in eight years.
Wow.
Dang, that's from TMZ.
He needs to get a new trainer.
Yeah, start over.
Start over. Don't give up on hand sanitizer yet.
A new study has found that self-checkout stations are loaded with harmful bacteria, including fecal matter.
What?
They swabbed it.
Of course, anywhere everybody's touch in is loaded with crab.
I know, but how?
But how?
Well, sometimes I just poop on the counter if I'm face back.
I'm saying, like, how does it get all over?
It's on someone else's hand and then they touch the screen.
Why are they touching it?
That's from the New York Post because they're gross, Eddie.
Oh, my God.
Or kids.
Or they changed a diaper and then.
That's disgusting.
And finally, a golfer bit off a man's nose
And an argument over the game.
Oh, my God.
An argument between two men over a golf game led one golfer to bite the nose off the front part off another golfer.
Just biting a human's anything off.
Unless they ask, it's weird.
How do you get that close to the nose to bite it?
That's a great.
Maybe you're fighting and you're just in it.
It's just there.
The nose is right there.
Because I'm not above that.
Like, if I'm getting beat up and it's close, I'll bite.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, yeah.
My plan is to bite. I don't care where I am.
You're going to get some more DMs in.
No.
I mean, I just try to always have in my head.
Don't forget to bite.
Oh, boy.
That's from WXXV and the AP.
And that is the news.
Those were Bobby's B.
Stories.
All right, employ the month.
Let's do it.
This is for the month in November.
I know here we are December 7th, but it's been a crazy last week or so.
Lunchbox is sick.
He's not here.
But he's also not able to win.
because Abby blocked him for three months.
Oh, yeah.
Her prize was blocking him from employee the month.
Now, here's what we're going to do.
This is a wrinkle.
Whenever someone else wins it,
their prize can actually be bringing
lunchbox back in for next month.
Oh.
But who would do that?
Why would someone do that?
Yeah, I don't know.
I mean, I feel bad that he got bumped for three months,
but what's the other thing you get to do?
Well, there's a lot of things.
Hey, Lunchbox, is there, buddy?
I'm here. Listen, guys, if you want to bring me back,
I know you're scared of competition
and you don't want the best person in for employee the month,
So I'd understand why you wouldn't bring me back.
But show your guts.
Show you know that you have, you have, you know, some gusto and you're not scared of me.
Bring me back.
Hey, so Lunchbox is not here because he says he has it coming out of both ends.
Yes.
So we're cool with him staying away.
Even out of one end stay away, right?
Everybody?
Yeah.
Yeah, yeah.
So he's sick.
But let's do Employee of the Month.
So if I call your name, just give a little quick speech.
That means you didn't win.
That's tough.
Okay, employee the month for November.
By the way, if you win, you can spend the wheel of cash.
you can do some self-promotion.
You can block someone for three months.
You could also block lunchbox for another three months.
Oh, wow.
That's amazing.
Or you can bring lunchbox back, okay?
Okay.
All right, employee of the month.
The first person that is not employee of the month is Eddie.
What?
You didn't win.
I am the first one out?
You're not employee the month.
What would you have said had you won?
All right, let me shift my thought here.
Oh, okay.
Wow, wow, wow.
Thank you guys so much.
You know, I want to say that my strategy finally worked.
I was thinking I have no chance
of getting this award
So what I did is I acted
Like I wasn't paying attention
I got punished and I bark like a dog
And stuff like that you do so you can get that award
I did it for the show
And it finally paid off
So thank you guys for realizing that
You never know with me now
I may do this for the years to come
Hey Lunchbox who do you think should win
Employee the month this month
Oh it's easy it's gonna be Amy
Amy had a stellar month
I mean just with her movie coming out
On Netflix
She
HBO Max
I think Amy
is the head and shoulders
winner of Employee of the Month
It's no doubt
Her Netflix special
Yes
Thanks for watching
You know it was HBO Max
And do you know what it was called lunchbox
Home for the holidays
Close enough
And did you watch it?
No not yet
I haven't been able to find it on Netflix
He hasn't been home
He hasn't found it on Netflix
You're not going to find it
You know what
Employee of the Month
for the month of November
for the first time ever is Amy.
Let's just give it to her right now.
Wow!
Amy!
She has never won an employee of the month.
She won because, one, the mysterious package
that was sent to her.
She revealed that.
She revealed it.
It was that the drug that starts with H.
It was a segment years in the making.
We also learned a lot from the officer
who called in to talk about it from that story.
She made her movie debut on HBO Max
with Holiday Harmony.
There was lead-up.
There was Brooke Shields on with us.
She's been unsuspectingly funny in the last month, raw and honest.
She got Reese Witherspoon to offer up reading lines with her in an audition.
Probably won't happen, but it was cool to hear.
Here she is with her speech, our employee of the month for the first time ever.
Amy, wow.
Come on, go ahead.
Say your speech.
Okay, what I have prepared.
Always the bridesmaid, never the bride.
No, no, no.
You won.
Until now.
Boom, there we go.
She got us.
Okay, okay.
Pump to finally receive the honor of employment.
employee of the month, but everyone knows that we are a team.
T-E-A-M, which together everyone achieves more.
Go team.
Pretty sure Michael Jordan said that, and he's like one of the best basketball players in the
world, so go team.
It doesn't sound like a Michael Jordan thing to say.
No, it really doesn't.
Team is spelled M-J.
Oh, is he really not a team player?
Watch the documents.
I know.
He's the best.
Okay, so you hear your options.
You can spend the wheel for money.
What are the cash options again?
Well, it goes all the way up.
You can want like $100, $200.
Okay.
You could bring lunchbox in from the rain, the storm.
Yeah.
Or you could suspend up for another $3.
Keep him out.
He sounds like he's super supportive of me.
Oh, yeah, it's true.
What are you going to do?
You can have personal promotion?
Oh.
Market spot.
But when I'm not using it.
Oh, right, right.
We're bringing in the wheel in case you choose the wheel of cash.
It's walking in now.
The most money that you could win looks to be $300.
$100.
Wow.
Dang.
That would be awesome.
Amy, what are you doing?
Hmm.
Lunchbox, why should I bring you back?
Oh, because you're not scared of competition, Amy.
You actually have, you're a real talent.
Okay.
Oh.
These other jokers know they aren't very good at their job, so they're scared to go up against the best.
And you, you know you perform, so you're like, you know what, bring on the competition.
Okay.
I'm going to go with self-promotion.
Self-promotion.
Wow.
Wow.
That's the first.
We love it.
So she dangles the carrot in front of lunchbox and says, no, you horse, you can't eat that.
And eat it right in front of them.
Yeah, that was awesome.
I love it.
Okay.
So, but how long did she get, Mike?
30 seconds.
Oh, wow, 30 seconds.
Yeah, self-promotion.
Okay.
Do you want it now or do you want it later?
What do you think?
You can have it now.
Okay.
Okay, here we go.
And here's Amy's self-promotion.
Okay, so if you would love to check out my podcast, that would be awesome.
Or not even if you'd love it.
If you'd like it, it's four things with Amy Brown.
Wherever you listen to podcast, I have two episodes a week, Tuesday and Thursday.
And then on Saturday.
days, I have a podcast called Outweigh that's dedicated to eating disorder recovery. And then on
Instagram, you can find me at Radio Amy. I'm also that on Twitter and TikTok is just not as active there.
You've got five more seconds. Come on, Amy. At Radio Amy.
It says that over and over. Hey, that's pretty good. You're a lot in there. I like that.
Good to win. Lunchbox, how do you feel? You're sick. I know. I know. You got to come and I both
in. But how do you feel about that? Oh, I thought it was terrible. What a terrible decision.
I mean, a coward decision. Very scared of competition. And then,
She didn't even use her whole time.
It was absolutely brutal.
Everybody already knows you have a podcast.
No, they don't.
That was a waste of your employee in the month.
They don't.
I bet not everybody knows.
Do you want to promote something lunchbox?
Yeah, you can.
Tough. Turn them down, Ray.
That's what you get.
Oh, that's what you get.
Jump on the bed.
Tough cookies.
All right.

Shaping up to be a big weekend for us.
Going to Dallas.
What's that? What's that noise?
Dude, I'm trying not to get too excited, but it's crazy.
Just thinking about it.
We're supposed to go to the Dallas Cowboys game,
interview Jerry Jones for our sports show called 25 whistles.
And, you know, we're all just.
He's just going to wait and I haven't heard anything.
Yeah, that scares me a little bit.
What do you mean haven't heard anything?
That's what he means.
Either way, I haven't heard anything.
So, because I've heard nothing, it's still on.
But Mike D. has a question because we're going.
They're massive Cowboys fans.
Mike, what are you curious about?
I've never met a billionaire before, and Jerry Jones is amazing.
Would it be lame to say, is it an honor to meet you?
No.
That's a good question, though.
it lame? Is it an honor to meet him?
It is, but it just feels weird to say like, it's an honor to meet you.
I think that's totally fine.
Say whatever you feel.
Well, to a point.
Oh, man.
I love you.
I mean, I love you all the time.
I think people probably say that a lot.
It's an honor to meet you, sir.
You love the Cowboys, what you two do, I think that's fine.
I'll tell Michael, it's something like, if he says that, I will back him up and say,
it's an honor to meet you too.
Why you let him lead?
Well, because he can start at first.
It's his idea.
It's what he wants to do.
What was your idea to open with, Eddie?
Jerry
I call him Mr. Jones
Until they tell you not to
Really?
I've been referring to him as Mr. Jones
In emails to the team
Yeah
Just because I don't want to be like
Yo, Jay Dogg says what's up
I say what's up
Not Jay Dogg
But I feel like everyone else calls him Jerry
I feel like
If you know him
You're not everyone else
You start
With Mr. Jones
And if he says
No man just call me Jerry
Then you call him
Hey man just call me Jay
And then we become friends
I don't know
These two are nervous
Okay, so you're going to say Mr. Jones.
Mr. Jones, I mean, this is just amazing.
Thank you so much for this opportunity.
So great to meet you.
This is unbelievable.
That's, okay, cool.
It's it.
But if Mike says it's an honor to meet you, I'm with you, Mike.
I mean, that's probably all I'll say.
Yeah, I mean, Mike's is a little tighter, so I like it.
Eddie can't go on and on and on and on.
I won't.
I won't.
Listen, you're also the camera guy.
Yeah?
So slow your way in.
Oh, for sure.
I'm not, I'm just going to observe for a little bit.
You don't jump on and hug him and wrap your leg.
around. Mr. Jones.
That's my job. I'm going to ease
my way in there. Well, as of now,
we're still going. But I
have always felt since the beginning
they're going to pull the rug out from underneath this to the last minute.
Do you feel like we need some sort
of confirmation before we, like, hop on a
plane and head to Dallas?
Yeah, like something.
Like, we're still good, right?
Well, if you ask for confirmation, you run the risk
of not getting confirmation. Oh, dang.
So I kind of believe in just going for it. We just show up
and knock on the door at the stadium. Hey guys, we're
We're here.
We're here for Mr. Jones.
We've been getting scammed the whole time.
So, yeah, that's what we're doing, supposedly.
On Sunday, we're supposed to be going.
Jerry Jones is going to pick us up in his helicopter, take us to the stadium,
setting his box.
It just is too good to be true.
Maybe we are getting scammed.
Well, it only cost me $27,000.
But I'm going to get it back as soon as I get there, they say.
They promise me they're going to give it right back to me as soon as I get there.
It's a deposit.
it? Well, don't be nervous. Nobody
act a fool. And we'll come back with some good content, right?
I cannot wait.
Okay. Bobby Bone Show.
Boney up the day.
All right, filling in for a sick lunch box is producer Eddie.
Guys, this one's next level. A 72-year-old lady in Germany, she's in the hospital, and
she has a roommate in the hospital. So there's her in one bed and a lady in the other,
and the lady that's not feeling good, she's got a ventilator because she's on her deathbed,
and she needs that ventilator to breathe. Well, the 72-year-old,
a lady, she's annoyed by the sound that the
ventilator makes, so she keeps unplugging it.
And the nurses have to come and be like, no,
you unplug that the lady dies. She's unplugging the ventilator
of the roommate? Because she
thinks the sound is annoying. Well, the sound is annoying.
Well, no, no, no, but she needs it to live.
No, no, I get it, and so that overrides it, right?
No, no, yes, that the living
overrides the annoying sound. Absolutely.
But the sound is annoying.
I mean, the logical thing is, like, asked to
get a different room? Maybe there aren't.
You never know. So just unplug it.
So what happens to her? So she got arrested.
for attempted manslaughter.
Oh my gosh.
I mean, because every time you unplug it, the lady could have died.
That's an annoying sound.
It's flatlining.
Maybe she wants her own room.
Maybe that's what it's about.
You imagine, she's like, ugh.
Unplug.
That lady's going to be like, yo.
I need that.
Chill.
All right, Eddie.
All right, that's your bonehead story of the day.
We did blind karaoke here on the show, and Morgan had a George Jones song.
Struggled with it.
So, Morgan, you should watch this George and Tammy show.
Are you getting a lot of messages about that?
You know, surprisingly not.
I think my spoken word just kind of glossed over the fact that I was so bad.
I'm getting a lot of messages saying you should make Morgan watch this show.
It actually looks pretty good.
So it's called George and Tammy.
It's streaming now in Showtime.
Jessica Chastain is Tammy Winnet.
And Michael Shannon is George Jones.
So here is a little Tammy Wynette, Stand By Your Man.
It is streaming now on Showtime, six episode, limited series.
And Jessica Chastain apparently can sing too.
