Starting point is 00:00:13 my basketball and college football journey, or my career in sports media. Well, now I'm bringing all of that excitement to my brand new podcast, the Clifford Show. This is a place for raw, unfilled conversations with athletes, creators, and voices that not only deserve to be heard, but celebrated.

The director of the NFL's East West Shrine Bowl, Eric Galco, joins the Sports Slice podcast to break down what really matters when evaluating draft prospects. From hidden traits teams look for to the biggest mistakes franchises make to the players flying. under the radar. This is the insight you
Starting point is 00:01:01 won't hear anywhere else. If you want to understand the draft like an insider, you don't want to miss this episode. Listen to the Sports Slice podcast on the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. And for more, follow Timbo Slice of Life 12 and TikTok podcast network on TikTok.
Starting point is 00:01:18 When a group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist, they take matters into their own hands. I vowed. I will be his last target. is not going to get away with this. He's going to get what he deserves.
Starting point is 00:01:33 We always say that trust your girlfriends. Listen to the girlfriends. Trust me, babe. On the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Welcome to Wednesday show. Morning studio. Morning. So there's a resident in Austin, Texas, which is where a lot of the show is from,
Starting point is 00:02:01 who climbed a $29 million lotto ticket. What? 29 million dollars. So pick six on Salt Springs Drive. I don't know where that is. It matched all six numbers. The winner wanted to remain anonymous. So we don't know who it is.
Starting point is 00:02:19 The winner who discovered they had the jackpot winning ticket while off from work described the feeling as very excited, but normal and down to earth. Lunch, how normal and down to earth would you be if you won $29 million? Not at all. I would be running up and down the street, letting everybody know. Hey, news conference. Hey, I'm going to pick out my money, be there at the lottery office. No anonymous.
Starting point is 00:02:40 No. Live stream your whole trip there. Live stream. Like, look at me. I'm on my way. Right now, I'm on 935. Do you not think, though, that someone might see that intercept you, shoot, you, kill you, and then have your ticket?
Starting point is 00:02:51 No. They can't. They're not going to get there on time. Why can't they? It's a scratch off. It's a ticket. Oh. Do you sign the back of those, too?
Starting point is 00:03:00 Yeah. Or do you just show up with it? Well, I guess for the second chance, you feel like your information. On that one, you just... Staple it to your chest. You'd go full skin staple. Oh, for sure. That way you don't lose it.
Starting point is 00:03:14 Like, these people are like, oh, I set it down. The wind picked it up and then I had to chase it down the street. No, no, no, no. Bap, bat. Staple gun right to your chest. There's a different lottery story. And we like these because Lunchbox is obsessed with the lottery. A lottery winner won't give her brother a chunk of the money and the family's torn apart because of it.
Starting point is 00:03:31 Why does the brother get money? Who cares? You didn't buy the lottery ticket? If your brother won $30 million in the lottery, what would your first message or request to him be? Dude, that's awesome. Could you break me off $4 million so I can retire? The problem with that would be,
Starting point is 00:03:54 if he went 30, he's going to get 15 or 16. And he'd give you four. That's, he's not going to be 25% of his money. Yes. Yeah, but he might give you a million. Do you think your brother would give you a million dollars if he gets $15 million. If he nets, $15 million,
Starting point is 00:04:08 no and my brother, no. Okay, if you have $15 million extra, would you give your brother a million? No. Okay, well. Let me text him. What would you give your brother, sister, and mom and dad a unit if you have $15 million?
Starting point is 00:04:24 I would probably, man, that's tough. I'd probably get my parents none. What? Because they, I mean, they don't need money. But you don't need money. money. Exactly. You're doing pretty good. You don't need money. Okay, I would give, let's do this. If I gave my money to my, if I gave
Starting point is 00:04:43 money to my parents, the stipulation would be if they pass, they have to give it back. Like, they can't like spread it evenly. I mean, if they die. You don't want her to pass it onto your other siblings. So here's some money. You must spend it yourself. Do not pass it down to the other siblings. Right. Because if I'm going to break them off some bread, then they're getting bread twice and I don't want to feed them twice. Your siblings. Right. Okay. What would you give your siblings? Honestly. I'd maybe give my brother 100,000.
Starting point is 00:05:11 And your sister? I'd probably give my, here, I'd probably give my sister a, hmm. That's a lot of money once you say it out loud. I know. But you would give your sister a million and your brother 100,000. Like 10 times difference? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:26 What's the deal here? Just closer to my sister. Classic. My sister's done more for me. So this was not a 15 million or like the other one, which was 30, but post tax. This is about 500,000 bucks, right? And the brother, quote, found out about my winning store parents. And he reached out.
Starting point is 00:05:47 I was like, can I have $30,000? And she was like, no. But I'll give you like five to help your immediate needs. And now they're all fighting with each other. But this is a reason to remain anonymous, though, too. I know. I agree. Yeah, but him just sitting her up, hey, can I get 30,000?
Starting point is 00:06:04 She said I'll give you five for your immediate needs. I think that was pretty good compromise on her part. He's being a little outrageous. Benefit with the other way around you would want. Oh, absolutely, because, I mean, I don't want to just take care of my needs right now. You've got to think about my needs in the future. Well, they don't think about your needs at all, actually. Or my wants in the future, more like it.
Starting point is 00:06:23 Your desires? Yeah, yeah. Oh, Bobby Bones. I was in Nashville recently for my best friend's bachelor's party. We went a little hard. We did body shots off a random guys. Some of the girls in our group also let guys do body shots off them. So it was all in good fun.
Starting point is 00:06:48 Just body shots. Nothing else. I'm going to pause this email for a second. Lunchbox, a brief explanation of what a body shot is. It's usually pour, someone lays on the bar. You pour the liquor in their belly button. So gross. No, it's not.
Starting point is 00:07:03 Go ahead. And then the shot is you suck the leg. liquor up out of the belly button and it is awesome. Okay. Back to the email. And if you want to get really risky, if like you're doing tequila out of the belly button, you put the lime in the person's mouth. And so you suck the liquor out of the belly button, you go get the lime out of their mouth. Okay.
Starting point is 00:07:23 And the salt would be on the neck. Oh, triple. Wow. Okay. Okay. Well, back to the email. When I got back home, I told my boyfriend about it because I wasn't trying to hide it. However, he got so upset and basically said that counted as cheating.
Starting point is 00:07:37 We got into a big fight. We still haven't fully resolved it. I told him that it was no different than the times he went to a gentleman's club for a bachelor party. Would you consider this cheating is a body shot that I did on the same level as cheating as making out with somebody else? Or go into a, well, you know, how do we move on from this? Who's right? Signed, Bachelor Party problems. First of all, nobody's right, because these are your opinions.
Starting point is 00:08:01 If there was a way to have some sort of factual documentation of the rules you agreed to, someone could be right, someone could be wrong. so no one is going to be right. You're going to have to find your way out of this tunnel. If you're asking me, if he's going to like a naked bar, I would say that's more severe than taking a body shot off somebody. But you may not think the same thing. It's the same.
Starting point is 00:08:26 What you should do now is just make the agreement that we won't do that anymore. Yeah, like, hey, moving forward, these are some ground rules we're going to set for each other of what's going to be healthiest for our relationship. You did not cheat. A body shot is not cheating. If him going to the club is not cheating. Now, if there had been rules set and there had been lying, like you can't, if you felt so uncomfortable, he should not have gone, he did anyway, that's bad news. That's trouble. Same the other way around. The rules weren't set. You both did your own thing that made the other person uncomfortable.
Starting point is 00:08:58 It sounds like you, the one who emailed me, actually handled it better than he did. I'm still trying to picture it. You just like slurp it out of their belly button. You like this. I don't know. I never did it. Yeah. And let me tell you, and then you kind of lick around
Starting point is 00:09:10 to make sure you got it all. You probably don't. That's probably like an extreme version. I will find it weird that girls are doing body shots because usually guys have hair in their belly button, so it's kind of gross.
Starting point is 00:09:23 The body shots that most people enjoy are out of a girl's navel. I mean, that is when it is. Navel? Yeah. Bill Nye. Morgan, you ever do a body shot off a guy?
Starting point is 00:09:33 I haven't done a body shot off a guy. I have had somebody do it. It was in college. Yeah, they do it off of you, right? It's awesome. Out of your belly button? Yeah. I was in college, yes.
Starting point is 00:09:44 It was a normal thing to do back then, yes. But it wasn't as gross as lunchbox. It was like sometimes they were just a little bit and yes, they would slurper, but not like lick around the belly button. So here's the thing. This is how I'm going to talk about this email. Amy's looking at them like, I don't even know you guys. Morgan just said it's a normal thing.
Starting point is 00:10:01 I've seen people. Yeah, yeah, I think too. when I was in my 20s, I would go to bars. I wouldn't drink, but I would see, I would see people doing body shots all the time. Oh. Yeah. I mean, I went out. I'm not like a, I'm not saying I never went out or did anything.
Starting point is 00:10:12 I just didn't. I just did it. I just am not at that. Like brunches on Saturday. I just wanted to be involved. It's like water beer pong. I was like, I want to do this. Come on.
Starting point is 00:10:21 Okay. So here's what I say. Maybe I was missing out. Yeah, both did something that the other person is uncomfortable with. You have to, you have to have that conversation. You're mad at each other. What I would do first is turn the level up on him, be like, I'm, So mad at you for going to that club, even if you're really not.
Starting point is 00:10:36 Because right now he's holding the advantage in this argument, and it's an unfair advantage he has. So you'd be like, okay, it's been bothering me forever that you went to this club. So let's get it all out there. And you don't need to like hold it and hold him accountable for it. But you need even the playing field so you can come to a good conclusion. The conclusion is we both did something that the other person doesn't love. It's not cheating. But for now on, we will definitely have rules moving forward.
Starting point is 00:11:03 Right. For Bachelor and Bachelor at parties, now we know this is what's allowed. Yeah. That's the only way out is to both you guys come even. Even if you have to amplify your irritation with him going to a, you know, boomba boomba club. Be even and then go, we have both done something that made the other one uncomfortable. How are we going to move forward? That's the only way out. Otherwise, he's got all the power.
Starting point is 00:11:26 He's mad at you and you're going to make it. Then you're like, I'm so sorry. Screw that. He went. Tricks is on stage two Taking orange juice Shots out of her butt On her own
Starting point is 00:11:40 Yeah, right There you go That's my answer That's the mailbag Close it up We got your email And those Bobby's mailbag Lunchbox is going to pitch a couple
Starting point is 00:11:53 Game ideas at us He is the champion of Elder versus Millennial He retired the champion So we're just looking for a new game To put in this slot So he's a champ So what do you want to play if it were up to you? One of them is called
Starting point is 00:12:05 name that challenger is where Bobby reads a description of someone that's been on MTV, the challenge, and then we write down our answers and whoever gets it right, you know, we win. Okay. So that'd be you. I think you're the only one who knows a single person on this show. I know, because of him, I know Johnny Bananas. And I know CD. And CT.
Starting point is 00:12:24 No, not CD, CT. Okay. See, the one person I knew, I'm out. So you won a game that you're destined to for sure win and dominate. Yeah. But if you don't like that one, I think we'll pass on that one. But we'll consider it. Go ahead. What's the next one?
Starting point is 00:12:37 Love on lunchbox. It's kind of like apples to apples. So what everyone's going to do is write down something on a sheet of paper, what they like about me, like a one-sentence thing. I will get all five of those sheets. It will be anonymous. And I will pick which one I like the best. And whoever I pick that, they get a point that week.
Starting point is 00:12:55 And we move to next week. And the first one to get five points wins. Okay. I don't hate it. I don't hate it. Love on lunchbox. I don't know if you know what you're asking for, though. Okay.
Starting point is 00:13:11 Yeah. You know what? I sign up for this game. I think this is a hilarious game. We will play Love on Lunchbox and we will give it a shot. Okay. So then everybody has a type out of sheet. Because I can't look at handwriting.
Starting point is 00:13:22 So it has to be printed. And you will get them and read them all aloud. All aloud. As they're written. And then pick the one that you feel like is best and they get the point. And they get the point this week. And you are up one nothing. We go to next week.
Starting point is 00:13:34 First one to five wins. This is a really dumb game. It's hilarious. We will play Love on Lunchbox. Either tomorrow or next week, okay? Okay. Maybe later this show. We are committed to Love on Lunchbox as we'll run it as a pilot episode and see how it goes, okay?
Starting point is 00:13:49 You better be thinking hard. You want to get that point. I don't need to think hard. I have like 10. It's just which one I want to use. Which way I want to love on you. That's a great point. News anchor was arrested in a bar fight, hilarious.
Starting point is 00:14:02 KBTX and College Station. News anchor Heather Kovar. Oh, I was arrested by police at Texas A&M University after what was reported to be a bar fight. In a probable cause statement, police say she was, quote, involved in an argument with a person she knew at a certain point the argument became physical. The victim was injured. Kvar has been slapped with the charge of assault family violence causing bodily injury, management for KBTX, says they're investigating the incident. Yeah, I don't picture my news anchor's fighting. That's hilarious.
Starting point is 00:14:33 I was thinking about, I didn't see a mugshot from her. But that wouldn't be a bad one. Like if you just get in a bar fight and you get arrested and you do a mugshot, that's not one you're really that embarrassed about. No, not really. It looks like she has a little bit of glassy eyes in the mugshot, little red in the cheeks. Does she look sad or angry?
Starting point is 00:14:48 Because that might be a smiler for me. She looks kind of sad. There's no smile, definitely. There's no teeth showing. Like it's closed lips. I made my top three mug shots. I wouldn't mind taken. Okay.
Starting point is 00:15:00 One would be like a bar fight. As long as I didn't get my face pounded in. Because in the picture, then it's all beat up. But if I get in a fight, that's pretty cool. I never been to fight. And you're not the one that started it. Who cares? Oh.
Starting point is 00:15:11 Maybe they were like saying something bad about you. And I was like, you don't talk about Amy like that. Okay. Bam. Yeah. That wouldn't be a bad one. The next one I have, a public in-tox. And you get arrested and thumbs up.
Starting point is 00:15:24 I never even been in-toxed. Yeah. But that's not a bad. If you don't hurt anybody, you're not DUIing because that's not a good one. That's a bad one. But a public in-tox, you can be on foot. Yeah, you're just walking your thumb one. get a little mouthy with the cop
Starting point is 00:15:37 and then he's like, okay, I'm going to take you downtown. Yeah, I'm not getting mouty with the cop, but I'm just way drunk. I'm peeing. That's what I'm doing. I'm like peeing on something I shouldn't be peeing on. Isn't that also fall into like indecent exposure? No, not if it's not exposed to anybody. You can be peeing and they're like, why are you peeing on the flower bed of that store? Or if you could be in the alley and you could be peeing and steam could be coming off the ground
Starting point is 00:15:59 and they could be on horseback and be like, hey, what are you doing back there? Classic steam and horseback. And you're like, uh, and you just had to admit it. My number one. Oh, stealing a cop's horse. I love cops. I don't know cops. I'm not stealing anything.
Starting point is 00:16:12 So Amy can do that. Remember her next time you pull her over. Okay. My next one is getting arrested for a protest. Oh, that's not bad. Yeah. As long as it's something. No, if I believe in it and I'm protesting and I'm taking a mug shot for, I'm smiling like this.
Starting point is 00:16:27 Yeah. I'm smiling so happy. I'm like, look at me. Put this up. Put this up on Twitter. That would be my favorite three things to get a lot. arrested for that I would also, I'd smile on my mugshot. That's not bad.
Starting point is 00:16:37 Do you have any that are like fun arrests? Like you don't want them. But like, like, remember when the governor of Texas got arrested? Like Rick Perry? And he was smiling in his shot. What do you get arrested for? I don't remember. Don't remember I.
Starting point is 00:16:50 I don't remember him smiling in his mugshot. What could you get arrested? I mean, like running onto a football field? Streaking. Not streaking. Because somebody have the people aren't even naked that run on the field now. Like, let's say like, almost none. I would say none.
Starting point is 00:17:05 Lino Messi is out there. And you want to run up and give him a hug. Like to get your chance to meet him. She can run out on the field and you high five them and they take you to jail for trespassing. That's not bad. Do you get a mugshot for trespassing? Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:17 I think so. I don't know. I guess I've never seen it when they stormed the stadium. Anything else fun. Like Rick Perry got his for Texas Governor Rick Perry struck a tight smile for his mugshot Tuesday and issued a spirited defense against charges of abusing his power. I wouldn't mind abuse his power. I'll be honest.
Starting point is 00:17:34 Abusing power is not bad. Yeah, what kind of power do I got here? But I think number one's a protest. Protest is easy. Oh, like if you're at a museum and you do paint on an artwork to get attention for a protest, that's cool. Or is that vandalism? Yeah, I don't know if I'm a vandalize anything, though. I start to be a wimp now as we go more.
Starting point is 00:17:51 Morgan, do you have one? Can you throw a flower on people or something? Yeah, I feel like I would be smiling if I rescued a dog from a hot car and they had to arrest me. Good one. That one's awesome. That's the winner. Or like a child. They were arrested for that.
Starting point is 00:18:04 that because it's like a vandalition of somebody else's. No, no, they couldn't rush it. Follow me here. Morgan busts the window, but it was cracked and she just didn't see it. And it turns out the dog may not have needed it, but Morgan was like, I'm not going to risk it. And the cop was like, you can't just be busting windows. It's 72 outside, and the dog was cracked. We're going to have to take you in.
Starting point is 00:18:23 Now, we just did horse and steam. We walked our own little trail there. But yeah, I'm with you there. Yeah. And then she busts every window, just for fun. Okay. I get that. But yeah, the laws generally, generally allow you just reasonable means to rescue an animal, which means generally and reasonable can be broken pretty easily.
Starting point is 00:18:42 So you can face criminal charges if they go, you didn't really have to do that. That's number one. I'm like holding my hands high. That's pretty good. I'm waving in that mug shot. That's a good one. And if I'm a news anchor in a bar fight. She didn't smile.
Starting point is 00:18:57 Yeah, she should. She really missed her chance. A win is a win. A win. I don't care what you're saying. Yep, that's me, Cliver Taylor the 4th. You might have seen the skits, the reactions, my journey from basketball to college football,
Starting point is 00:19:10 or my career in sports media. Well, somewhere along the way, this platform became bigger than I ever imagined. And now I'm bringing all of that excitement to my brand new podcast, The Clifford Show. This is a place for raw, unfiltered conversations with some of your favorite athletes, creators, and voices that not only deserve to be heard, but celebrated.

The Clifford Show isn't just a podcast, it's a space for honest conversations, stories that don't always get told, and for people who are chasing something bigger.

Starting point is 00:20:01 This week on the Sports Slice podcast, it's all about the NFL draft, and we've got a special guest. The director of the NFL's East West Shrine Bowl, Eric Galko, joins the Sports Slice podcast to break down what really matters
Starting point is 00:20:14 when evaluating draft prospects. From hidden traits, teams look for, to the biggest mistakes franchises make, to the players flying under the radar. This is the insight you won't hear anywhere else. If you want to understand the draft like an insider,
Starting point is 00:20:27 you don't want to miss this episode. Listen to the Sports Slice podcast on the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. And for more, follow Timbo Slice of Life 12 and TikTok podcast network on TikTok. There's two golden rules that any man should live by. Rule one, never mess with a country girl. You play stupid games, you get stupid prizes. And rule two, never mess with her friends either. We always say that trust your girlfriends. I'm Anna Sinfield. And in this new season, season of The Girlfriends.
Starting point is 00:21:04 Oh my God, this is the same man. A group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist. I felt like I got hit by a truck. I thought, how could this happen to me? The cops didn't seem to care. So they take matters into their own hands. I said, oh, hell no. I vowed.
Starting point is 00:21:22 I will be his last target. He's going to get what he deserves. Listen to the Girlfriends. Trust me, babe. On the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your phone. across. It's time for the good news.
Starting point is 00:21:43 With Amy. Tell me something good. So I want to shout out to Elena Patterson. She's a Girl Scout in Mississippi and her community service project is something that's super special that's giving back to mothers and children in need because she decided to donate a garden
Starting point is 00:22:00 to Lighthouse Rescue Mission. And this garden's going to help these women and children in two ways. It's going to provide fresh fruits and vegetables for them to eat, which is awesome. And then it's also going to allow them to be involved in something and watch it grow and produce, which then is really good for their mental health and motivating them and seeing like, oh, wow, I can do this, tend to it, take care of it. And then there's an end of result. Shout out to all the Girl Scouts,
Starting point is 00:22:25 but really the people that volunteer to make sure that this program continues because, again, it provides a great influence on a lot of kids like this young kid here who will probably do stuff like this for the rest of their lives. So a big shout out to all you guys still making this happen. That's a great story. They're raised gardens too, which means. It's almost like an in-ground swimming pool so you can move it. Ah. Does that make sense? An in-ground or above-ground?
Starting point is 00:22:49 Yeah, above-ground, whatever. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I got what you meant, though. Yeah, thanks. Like, nobody where I came from had an in-ground. Pool? Yeah, one person did lander me. Everybody wanted to be his friend in the summer.
Starting point is 00:23:00 A couple had above ground, but we were like, that's lame. We'd rather just not swim to go swim in the above ground. But then we would also buy one of those cheap ones from like outside of Home Depot and then just lay in it on the ground, the kiddy ones. Like the kiddie pool? Like we were too good for the above ground, but then we'd go buy one of the old plastic ones from outside of Home Depot. Anyway, these gardens are like that. She builds them and then can take them places as well. Yeah, that's pretty cool.
Starting point is 00:23:20 Just a kid. Making a difference. That's what it's all about. That was tell me something good. Experts say that sleeping in a dark, cool environment is the absolute best sleep you can get. And so I'm going to UT Health San Antonio for this story, only because there's a bit of vindication for me, which you guys are like, you're nuts. I like to sleep on 61. That's too cold.
Starting point is 00:23:41 I like to sleep on sick. I like my nose hairs to be like Game of Thrones. Winter is coming and they're all freezing. I like that. That's that to happen. Right. And they didn't say that. They just said cool, dark place.
Starting point is 00:23:50 You're in a frozen dark place. Here's the question they asked. Again, this is UT Health, San Antonio. What are the best ways to ensure the ideal room temperature and sleep environment? Number one, keep the thermostat between 60 and 67. No, that's not. No way. Now, let's remove the part where the bill is expensive.
Starting point is 00:24:10 Okay. Okay, because that is definitely an issue. And for me, I don't worry about that issue right now. I just worry about it being 61. I'm in a pretty good place. I've worried about that part of it. It hasn't always been that case. I would adjust just based on the bill.
Starting point is 00:24:24 But if air conditioning is no object, I'm at 61. It's like you realize Bobby's success, the lower his thermostat goes. Absolutely. Yeah. The better he's doing. When it was 72, I struggling. When it's 61, right now we're doing pretty good. I keep my house at 72, even at night.
Starting point is 00:24:40 I'm going to sleep. But that's probably what feels good to you? That feels real good to me. But also I grew up like my mom was a stickler about the thermostat. 61 rocks. You should try it. No, I, I just. It's so cozy under all the covers.
Starting point is 00:24:53 And then your face is cold, but your body's warm. And you can put. Perfect thermostat temperature, lunchbox. Mm, 70. The house is 72. And we don't hit 61 until I lay down. So it takes a little bit to get there. They say, if you have an overhead fan on if possible.
Starting point is 00:25:15 Oh, yeah, I do that. Okay. Set a programmable thermostat that can automatically lower and raise the temperature. That's what I'm the programmable thermostat, meaning I don't go with my finger. Because I don't know how to do. It's like back in the day, setting the time on a VCR, who knew how to do that? That's what I fill up with my thermostat. Anytime I set it and go right.
Starting point is 00:25:34 Yeah. So I don't know why it's so hard. Try cooling sheets and blankets during hot weather months. Well, you have a cooling pad or whatever. What's a cooling? I have a bed that does that. Yeah. What's a cooling sheet or blanket? I think there are, yeah, there's certain materials that are more cooling than others.
Starting point is 00:25:52 But you still put it on top of you? Yeah. I don't know the coolest thing is but nothing on top of you. Yeah, no, you can still have sheets on top of you. Yes. Unless it's wet. Like a wet sheet would be cooling. No.
Starting point is 00:26:02 If you sleep with a wet sheet, like it's going to stick to you. It's going to start to get frozen on you. Spend time in a public place with air conditioning during the day. day to help prevent overheating, take a cool shower or bath before bed. Yahoo. I have never in my life taking a cold shower. There have been times like a church camp where it would be the hot water was broken and it was only cold. So I would like run through a bird bath real quick. But I would never stand under the cold. I felt like it's the dumbest thing ever. I love cold showers. And maybe it's because I'm getting a bit older, but I would go out. We play pickleball
Starting point is 00:26:31 like 95 degree weather. I'll come in because my body will not cool down and I'll get in a cold shower. For the first time last week I did that. Felt good. Yeah, I think it might be an age thing because my body just wouldn't cool down. Yeah, but you need to try it when you're not like so hot and trying to cool off. 61 is the perfect temperature to sleep at everyone. For Christmas you know what I'm going to get you guys a month of your electric bill so you can put it on 61. But I don't want it at Christmas time. No way. Too cold. You give me your September electric bill. I will give you that but you have to sleep on 61 whenever it gets back to warm for a week.
Starting point is 00:27:09 I'll give you that as a Christmas gift. Thank you. You're welcome. Shaquille O'Neill is the Muhammad Ali humanitarian of the year. Love a good Shaq story. I feel like Shaq's awesome. Shaq's always helping people out. It was announced he's been awarded the 2024 Muhammad Ali Humanitarian of the Year
Starting point is 00:27:25 Award. And you may say, why are you bringing this up, Bobby? Well, I love people that do philanthropy. And also it drives lunchbox crazy. Yeah, I always think Shaq's just in it for the publicity that he does. He doesn't really do this stuff. It's all set up. He doesn't just walk into a random store,
Starting point is 00:27:40 see some guy looking at engagement rings and be like, hey, let me buy that for you. But I think what you said is wrong. I think he does really do the stuff. Even if some of it, and I don't know that any of it's set up, but he does do the stuff. Yeah, I mean, I think when you're looking for it,
Starting point is 00:27:54 you see opportunities and then you act. Yeah, I think he, lunchbox, I don't think he meant it that Shaq doesn't do the stuff, meaning he doesn't fake buy the stuff. No, no, no. You're saying he doesn't organically find the people. Organically. Everybody always like, oh, it's so random. He just happened to show up. And I'm like, come on. And then he buys all these school supplies. And I'm like, why is that said so negatively? And also, can I just- He didn't even show up at the event. Like he bought him, but then he just hit up him on FaceTime. That's even better. He didn't even want to be there. He couldn't be there because of a conflict to be celebrated. So he just did the nice thing. Can I ask you a question? Yeah. How come I didn't win that award? We have many reasons for that. We'd be here at the whole show doing this.
Starting point is 00:28:34 this is what I would ask you. Let's say every single instance that he does something has been set up, but the person actually benefits from it. Isn't that still awesome because nothing was lost and everything was gained by people who actually need? Then just admit it's set up is what I'm saying. Like just say, hey, I told this. I'm not saying it's set up.
Starting point is 00:28:54 I told this dude, I'm going to come to the ring store and buy his ring. But we don't know that happened. Oh, I just happened to be in there. See, I knew it trigger him. That's all the one reason I wanted to bring it up. You want him to admit something that you don't need to know. Oh, I happen to be. You're jealous because he gets credit for stuff and you just want credit for doing it.
Starting point is 00:29:09 He does a lot and gets credit. And I do. I get no credit. You do very little and get very little credit. You want people to praise you for your $2 donation at Petsmart every single time. You bring up every time we talk about charity. And I donated what? I saved seven lives.
Starting point is 00:29:22 I gave power reds. And you know what? We like that. Yeah. Anyway, shout out Shaq. I feel like Shaq is a really good dude. He's really cornered the philanthropic market. I agree.
Starting point is 00:29:33 I agree. All right. Most famous pop stars alive right now. Think about that. I think number one's easy. It's easy. But most famous pop stars alive right now. Give me your opinion. I also have this list. Back in a second. Most famous living pop star in America, they have the top 10. This is like thousands and thousands of people on that you go gov site. So famous living. Don't go Elvis. Don't go Tupac. Johnny Cash. So Amy, who do you have at number one? Taylor Swift. Lunchbox? Taylor Swift. Yeah, me too. Taylor Swift is by far easily, it's not even close between one and two.
Starting point is 00:30:11 Okay? I'm curious in who you guys had at two. Amy? Britney Spears. Lunchbox? Beyonce. Ooh. Yeah, I have her, but she's not at two.
Starting point is 00:30:24 Okay. At two is Beyonce. At three is Britney Spears. Oh. Britney Spears? Still. Yeah, she's a living pop star. Yeah, but I thought maybe her star had faded.
Starting point is 00:30:35 I didn't have her even on the top 10 anymore. The star definitely faded. However, she's still wildly famous. Wow. Like she was Taylor Swift, just not quite Taylor Swift level, which is crazy to say now because Brittany was by far the biggest thing
Starting point is 00:30:52 in the whole world for a while. But she was that Taylor Swift in that era, like the biggest thing around. I'm wondering who we don't say then from your list, Lodgebox, if you already didn't have her. All right, number four,
Starting point is 00:31:04 Who do you have it for? Justin Bieber. Lunchbox? I have Harry Styles. Harry Styles did not make the list. Wow. There you go. There's my mess up.
Starting point is 00:31:13 I thought he was huge. Bieber is at five. Okay. That was my next one. Yeah, Bieber is at five. You have Bieber on there? Yep. Okay.
Starting point is 00:31:21 Anybody have Lady Gaga? No. I didn't. She made it four. What? Uh-huh. Yeah, I mean, they're putting her on the Olympics, internationally. No, I mean, I get it.
Starting point is 00:31:30 I just didn't think of her. Jennifer Lopez? J-Lo, got her. Really? I would not have. No, J-Lo is not in my realm right now. I feel like her star has faded. Really?
Starting point is 00:31:42 What is she done? Have you seen the shows? Again. What is she done? I mean, lately, like, she... Well, Brittany would be the same question, though. But Brittany's still in the spotlight for being kind of... Well, J-Lo is an actress.
Starting point is 00:31:54 And J-Lo and Ben Affleck, that's been in the news. Have you seen him? Ben Affleck, like, come out lately. He's got like this new mid-life crisis look. His hair's like, bud. He's got the... It's like a weird, like, faux-hop thing. It might be for a movie, right?
Starting point is 00:32:05 He's 51. Yeah, live, you know? Yeah. I was a little embarrassed for J-Lo because, you know, she canceled her tour because people weren't coming. And I watched that she had to do like one of them in an arena. It's like 20% full. I felt so bad for her.
Starting point is 00:32:21 And I've done shows too that I've always been like, oh man, there aren't that many people here this sucks. And it does. And so I felt for her, I was like, good for her for doing it. But I did feel bad for her because there was 80%. and empty. Anybody else see that video? Yeah, I did.
Starting point is 00:32:39 Yeah, I wonder with her if it has something to do with. There's been a lot of stories coming out about how she's not very kind. And I wonder if it has anything to do with that. I don't know that that's true. I've never met it. My guess would be probably not.
Starting point is 00:32:52 It's probably that she hasn't had any music that's really popped in a long time. But like what hit has she had other than the hits from back in the day? And to play a venue that big. I mean, she did the Super Bowl not that long ago. The Super Bowl, who cares? Super Bowl is a big deal to
Starting point is 00:33:05 do, but they'll put on some people that used to be famous for the Super Bowl. That's true. Possibly Morgan. Why wouldn't they just? But there are a lot of jerks that are still, yeah. I don't know that it's true. I just, I've seen so many that have come out about her. I don't know anybody that's met her.
Starting point is 00:33:22 I want to know, is she smoking hot in person? Have I ever seen her in real life? I would know that. I ask Mike, because Mike's with me everywhere I go. I don't know that I've ever seen it. That's what I'm saying. Like, we ever. Is she even real?
Starting point is 00:33:34 That's a great question. Okay, Miley Cyrus is seven. I got her. Boom. Didn't have her. No. But that makes sense. Yeah, Miley.
Starting point is 00:33:42 Miley is awesome. Miley is one of those people who I have met and she's the kindest, most relatable feeling down-to-earth celebrity when you talk to her. But she's so nice, her people have to be really hardcore. Like, because there are times, and Miley wasn't there, they're like, get out of the hall. Miley's coming through. And we're like, we can. even stand in the hall. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:07 But then Myel would get there and she's awesome. But there are even country artists, I know that are so nice, but their people understand how nice the person is and they'll make that person stay for. They just have to balance out somehow. Yeah. I remember we met her when she was Hannah Montana. You did? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:26 Did I? Yeah, you were there. And it's one of my core, like, oh my gosh, mess-ups that I've ever had on this show because, because it was back when we used a stupid mini-disc recorder to record interviews, and something happened where it kind of skipped halfway in the interview, and you were like, how did you not know? And I'm like, I don't know, man. And I still.
Starting point is 00:34:48 So we interviewed her, but ended it in air? No, it aired, but we only had part of the interview. Oh, that's a tough one. We didn't get any celebrity back then. We went and interviewed her at the Irwin Center. Was she like nine? Something like that. And I think.
Starting point is 00:34:59 She was a little. And I think Amy said, don't you turn out like these other pop stars. I don't know. Oh, I do. remember that. Yeah. Yeah. Don't you go crazy. He's like, don't you do it. But Miley's awesome. I don't remember saying that. I get, I've, I do. Where's the audio? Well, he lost it. Justin Timberlake. Anybody have him? I have him. He's still, I thought his tour wasn't selling. No, his tour, no, that's what they want you to believe. His tour's actually selling pretty well.
Starting point is 00:35:27 He got in trouble and they were like, we think it's, he got this DUI so people would put him back in the news so we could sell more tickets. His tour is actually selling. pretty to really well. I have seen a lot of females that I'm friends with on Facebook going to the concert. So I was like, man, it seems pretty popular. But the news says he's not popular anymore, so I didn't have him on the list. Mariah Carey? You guys have her? No.
Starting point is 00:35:47 Nine? Nope. That is just a history pick. Yeah. She is not even relevant. She has no no music. She's back. Massive pop star.
Starting point is 00:35:58 But every Christmas, she's new again because she's in the news again. And she's doing interviews and Madonna's at 10. Wow. Oh, no, Ariana Grande. I was going to see who you guys have other than those 10. Amy has that I for sure would put Ariana Grande on this list over Mariah and Madonna. Okay. Who else do you have on your list, Amy?
Starting point is 00:36:18 We didn't say. This was just, I was pulling from my daughter's pop stars, Olivia Rodrigo and Dua Lipa. Yes. I would say Gen Z, absolutely. but I think overall Brittany and the Mariah still for a while. They need a couple more years,
Starting point is 00:36:36 but massive, absolutely. Oh, Selena Gomez. A bit of the same, but if she'd have been on the list, I'd have been like, I get it. Multi-levels. Multi-levels. The most following on Instagram?
Starting point is 00:36:47 Not only that. She has a hit show on Hulu. Yeah. She has songs. And some of they're pretty good. I don't know if she can sing, but they do her songs pretty good. Lunchbox, who'd you have?
Starting point is 00:36:55 I have Duelipa, Olivia Rodrigo. Nice. Post Malone. Uh-huh. Bruno Mars, and then I have last but not least, Billy Eilish. I think, too, I do the same. I confuse who's super talented.
Starting point is 00:37:09 With who has been famous for a long time. Because I would say those are all great guesses, but like Madonna is still so. Right. She dates somebody, a 20-year-old, and it's all over the news. And Madonna was the Britney Spears before. Of the 80s. Yeah, it's like the Elvis. Madonna, Brittany, Taylor.
Starting point is 00:37:35 That could be argued. I think those are the most famous, just off the top of my head. Anybody Morgan that you thought of that didn't make the list? Yeah, I'm surprised Celine Dion isn't on that list. I definitely could see her at like a over a Mariah, possibly. Because she's still in the news and she was at the Olympics too. I mean, I feel like international star, like she's so, like loved.
Starting point is 00:37:59 but is she considered like pop stuff? Yeah, no one, like, I don't feel like the news covered her. Like, people liked her singing. I would say she was massive whenever Titanic, my heart would go on. She had pop songs when we broke into a radio station once, a long time ago. They were playing one of our songs. That's how I remember this. Whenever my guy went in to break into the station to turn the volume down of the station,
Starting point is 00:38:20 which I didn't have them turn it all the way down because I would put a trigger up, like, do, it's silent. He did it to like one third. So the music would still play when we took over, and they were playing a slain deal. song that wasn't the Titanic song. Oh, those were the days. I was getting in trouble for doing stupid stuff.
Starting point is 00:38:35 Now I just get in trouble because people want me in trouble. I know, but wouldn't be fun to just kind of go back to the good old days? Nah, it broke. I know, but you could be a little bit reckless, stupid. Probably fun. You know? It's fun. Those times were the best times in my life.
Starting point is 00:38:49 Exactly. So why not incorporate some of that now? Too risky. Yeah, I mean, I got like a wife and they got to pay for a bulldogs, vet bills. Responsibility. Crazy. Anybody else? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:03 Ed Sheeran? Good one. He's a massive one. Massive one, yeah. Drake? Like Jennifer Lopez to me, I think I would drop her from the list. Oh, Drake. Drake is great too.
Starting point is 00:39:11 Yeah, he's bigger than... Drake is great too. Champagne poppy. Anybody knew, here's a question. Anybody knew that you think makes this list in the next 10 years? Oh. Because I think both do Alepa and Olivia Rodrigo both could pop it.
Starting point is 00:39:27 What about Sabrina Carpenter? A little too new. initial Sabrina Carpenter interaction is when Olivia Rodriguez sang about her on driver's license and for still I can't get over and I'm like I cannot be a Sabrina Carpenter fan even though our songs are really good. Who's the one guy that people like? Is his name Sean Mendez?
Starting point is 00:39:46 Sean Mendez is one. I don't know how big he is though. Like now we've we kind of have an obsession in our house with Chapel Rhone and how fast she's blown up. Say that again. Chapel Rhone. Oh. Roan? Uh-huh.
Starting point is 00:39:57 Chapel Rone. We're pink pony club. Oh, that's Pink Pony Club person? Okay, yeah, I'm familiar. What about Tate McRae? Yeah, she's okay. She's way too much of a dancer. You think I didn't know Tate McRae?
Starting point is 00:40:11 Listen, I'm dialed in, Amy. I only know this is my daughter's playlist. Yeah. I'm dialed in on Tate McRae. Nikki Minaj. Okay, well, that's not your daughter. That's like ours. No, my daughter likes...
Starting point is 00:40:22 Oh, good. Good for Nikki Minaj for holding on them. Actually, no, it's not. Like, I get in her car sometimes. Like, say I need to move it, like, out of the driveway, and I'll get in, and it's so loud. and it's saying like the most horrific things in a song that I've heard of. And I'm like, hey, why, first of all,
Starting point is 00:40:38 can we download the clean version of this? Or not download, but stream or whatever it is that you do. I agree with it, loser mom. No, no, Nikki Mina, like, I want the clean version, yeah. It's way too dirty. My point with Nikki Minaj is, she's a legacy act now.
Starting point is 00:40:51 She's still current. That's cool. It's like Maroon 5. They keep making songs. They're like 100. Like, how do they do that? They're definitely, she's crossed over and the young people
Starting point is 00:41:00 still like. Yeah. All right, there you go. Taylor Swift, easily number one, though. A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care what you're saying.

There's two golden rules
Starting point is 00:42:50 that any man should live by. Rule one, never mess with a country girl. You play stupid games, you get stupid prizes. And Rule 2, never mess with her friends either. We always say that trust your girlfriends. I'm Anna Sinfield, and in this new season of the girlfriends... Oh my God, this is the same man. A group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist.
Starting point is 00:43:17 I felt like I got hit by a truck. I thought, how could this happen to me? The cops didn't seem to care, so they take matters into their own hands. I said, oh, hell no. I vowed I will be his last target. He's going to get what he deserves. Listen to the girlfriends. Trust me, babe.
Starting point is 00:43:37 On the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Here's the voicemail we got last night. Ray Moon has to change the code on the Amazon. Just change your garage code and then the code they have will work. That's so simple. I don't know why we didn't think about that. Ray set up where Amazon would deliver and go in your garage and drop it off. But then he didn't want it anymore.
Starting point is 00:44:06 And so they tried to change it, but they couldn't change it. And the guy keeps showing up, opening his garage all hours. But yeah, why don't you just change your code? Yeah, then they're going to try to open the garage, go to another door, knock on that, go to my back patio, knock on that. I don't think they do all that. They do when you have that code there. They try to get into your house. They want to drive.
Starting point is 00:44:24 I don't think they want to get into your house if they can't get in your garage. All right, give me another one. Hi, I've got a morning corny. Why is everybody scared of the... umbrella salesman because she's a little shady. Get it. Happy birthday, Ashley. There you go. Happy birthday, Ashley.
Starting point is 00:44:44 Here's Amy's pile of stories. All right, so a while back, the Gottman Institute, they came up with how long it takes to trigger the release of oxytocin when you're kissing somebody. And oxytocin is your love hormone. It also can be released with a hug, so there's an amount of time for that. But when it comes to kissing, you need to kiss for six seconds every day to get that release. Like no pecks. It's got to be a six second kiss.
Starting point is 00:45:08 I want to time six seconds because it sounds short when you just say six seconds. But imagine, okay, you see your husband, your wife, your partner. And you kiss, go. One, two, three. Still kissing. Four. Five. Six.
Starting point is 00:45:23 That's an extremely long kiss. And good luck to everybody. Good luck. Yeah. So it's back in the news because the Associated Press did a whole thing on it. That's like a movie romantic kiss. Oh, yeah. Six seconds.
Starting point is 00:45:35 Like your wife goes a grocery store. There's a lot more than that's going to be getting released. Don't be honest with you. Six seconds. You know, that's... It's got to be six. And then if hugging is an option, but they said it takes longer for the oxygen to be released. No, it's just 20 seconds.
Starting point is 00:45:49 But 20 seconds would be a long hug. That's a long hug. That's a long. So a lot of people at the Olympics, they are shocked that they're not allowed to drink alcohol while they're watching unless they're in the VIP area. But, you know, here in America, you go to a sporting event, you grab a drink, you go sit and your seat, you watch. Well, that's not allowed there. And this is from a 1991 French law that restricts alcohol sales at large events to help combat substance abuse. So it's not an Olympics thing. It's a French thing. Yeah. And so Americans didn't really realize that and they show up.
Starting point is 00:46:20 Of course, we don't. And they're like our flasks. A little puzzled. But everyone still seems to be enjoying it. But that is why there's not alcohol in the stands. They don't sell them at large events. Well, there are still college football stadiums. They don't sell beer or alcohol in America. So it's not completely out of this world that happens. Oh, really? Yeah. I didn't know that. But, well, they start as soon as they realize the money they can make for sure.
Starting point is 00:46:41 Or y'all. Yeah. Some stadiums have just allowed it. Yeah, I would think you'd be able to drink at the Olympics. All right, what else? Jelly Roll was performing. He's on stage and he looks out and he sees one of his fans there hooked up to an ivy drip, the pole and everything.
Starting point is 00:46:55 This young lady is out here with a 40-load IV. You're a cancer survivor. how many people are with you let's get her a chair somewhere let's somebody on my team let's get her somewhere comfortable to watch the rest of the show we'll get you off your feet big okay
Starting point is 00:47:11 that's a cool clip also the clip of him at SummerSlam happened a couple days ago where he chokeslam somebody I'm so happy for him because I know how much he loved and loves wrestling and you got to go out
Starting point is 00:47:21 during a pay-per-view and slam somebody like one of the wrestlers would that be one of your childhood dreams huh I'm already doing mine by doing that too much access you know I do the football stuff
Starting point is 00:47:30 but with wrestling for him, because he's been in here, and we've talked about that before, to be able to be invited up at a pay-per-view and to have a role in one of the storylines, that's pretty cool for you a wrestling fan. Me, I would end up hurting myself. I know. Yeah, no.
Starting point is 00:47:43 I'm Amy. That's my pile. That was Amy's pile of stores. It's time for the good news. With lunchbox. Stay home there's something good. Let's take a trip back to 1985. Scott King wins a trip to Disney. Yeah, yay.
Starting point is 00:48:00 But he's like, I'm not going to use it. He puts it in a scrapbook. And all these years later, he has a daughter who is 18. And she goes, Dad, I really want to go to Disney.
