Starting point is 00:00:00 This is an I-Heart podcast. Guaranteed human. A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care what you're saying. Yep, that's me. Clivert Taylor the 4th. You might have seen the skits,
Starting point is 00:00:12 my basketball and college football journey, or my career in sports media. Well, now I'm bringing all of that excitement to my brand new podcast, The Clifers Show. This is a place for raw, unfills of conversations with athletes, creators, and voices that not only deserve to be heard, but celebrated.
Starting point is 00:00:28 So let's get to it. Listen to the. the Clifford Show on the I Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. And for more behind the scenes, follow at Clifford and at TikTok Podcast Network on TikTok. I'm Daniel Jeremiah. And I am Greg Rosenthal. I know that, Greg. We're teaming up on 40s and free agents, the podcast that owns the NFL off season.
Starting point is 00:00:48 This is where teams are built. Free agency, combine, pro days, trades. Every move matters. From my draft boards and mock drafts to my vaunted top 101 free agents and how rosters come together. Quarterback movement. Surprise signings. We'll tell you what it means and who really wins.
Starting point is 00:01:05 Open your free IHeart radio app. Search 40s and free agents and listen now. Readers, Katie's finalists, we have an incredible new episode this week for you guys. We have our girl Hillary Duff in here and we can't wait for you to hear this episode. They put on Lizzie McGuire 2am video on demand. This guy's boo-u-a-m-m-a-m-m-whi-miguer.
Starting point is 00:01:24 And I'm like a wild bat you were with. It was like a first closet moment from you where I was. Like, I don't feel like she's hot, like the rest of them. No, no, no. I was like, she's beautiful. But I'm appreciating her in a different way than these boys are. I'm not like, but listen to Los Angeles on the Iheart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or whatever you get your podcast. Wake up in the morning.
Starting point is 00:01:54 Then you turn the radio on and the dial just keeps on turn. Beings on turn. Eddie and me lunchbox. More game two. Steve Ray and every trying to put you. through. This is writing his wig's next bit.
Starting point is 00:02:08 Now Bobby's on the mic so you know what this is. This is the Bobby Vaughn's Stone. This is Lexi from Mississippi. I have a question. This is specifically for you. I was just thinking if the opportunity was to ever arise that they made a movie about your life. Would you ever do it? I would love to watch it.
Starting point is 00:02:33 I think it will be a fantastic movie. But I really just want to know what your opinions on. I mean, would I ever do it? I wouldn't have to do it. I wouldn't be in it. They'd probably hire somebody like Clay Aiken to be in here. You wouldn't play yourself? No, because you got to play like young and middle.
Starting point is 00:02:49 I don't want somebody way better looking than me. Yeah, maybe a gosling with glasses. They'd pick Clay Aiken. I don't know how this goes. Yeah, I don't know. My book got optioned. My first book, Bare Bones, about my life got optioned for like three months and then got dropped.
Starting point is 00:03:03 What does that mean? Somebody bought it for the rights. And then nothing ever happened from it. So, I don't know, that'll never happen. Unless I, like, run for office. And I'm not doing that anytime soon. You run for office, so it equals getting a movie. If I win.
Starting point is 00:03:17 Oh, yeah, that's true. Or I win a Super Bowl. I've been training. Yeah, all of these are options. Yeah, all right. Never limit yourself. Right, right. That'll never happen.
Starting point is 00:03:28 But I did write a book about my life called Bear Bones. They did pretty well, thanks to you guys. And you guys can check it out on Amazon if you want. Okay, let's go to the next one. I have a morning corny for Amy. What happens when doctors get frustrated? They lose their patients. Pretty good one.
Starting point is 00:03:47 All right, let's go over to Amy now with her morning corny. Let's go. The morning corny. What's the leading cause of dry skin? Towels. That's pretty one. That was the morning corny. say to walk backwards, it's good for you. Physical therapists and fitness trainer say walking
Starting point is 00:04:10 backwards is a low impact way to not only burn calories, but it also helps with cognition because you're having to think way more about every step, almost like when a child learns to walk and their brain is developing. They're putting balance on different parts of their feet and learn. You have to do that when you walk backward because it is not normal to your brain or your body. It's like brain gym. brain gym. There's brain gym exercises, G-Y-M. Oh, gym.
Starting point is 00:04:41 Yeah. Like a brain diamond. Yeah. Got it. I do that sometimes when I'm doing brain gym. Yeah. Extreme coordination. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:48 Improvement. So walk backward. Remember the woman that said she had some disease and that she couldn't talk? She could only walk backward. She could only walk backward. Like she couldn't walk forward and then she couldn't talk. But when she walked backwards, she could talk. Do we ever find out if that was true or not?
Starting point is 00:05:03 I don't remember. Yeah, I don't either. I remember just being fascinated with it. But if it's not, what a commitment to your I mean, what a creative way to get famous. Or it's just a video. She did it for six minutes and it was over, you know? I'm not sure if that was ever real or not. But I did think about that sometimes. I don't know where. I'm like, whatever happened to that girl who could only walk backward and talk.
Starting point is 00:05:21 Well, let's look it up. Morgan, can you smell? Yeah, a little bit. Like most of it's back. This is pre-COVID, pre-v vaccine. And most people now be like, well, she's going to go out the vaccine. but Morgan got COVID so bad she couldn't smell or could you taste? I couldn't taste for a little bit but my taste mostly came back. My taste has been like 95% since like two months into having COVID.
Starting point is 00:05:45 Is it still a little off though? Yeah. Oh yeah. There's moments that things taste like cleaning solution and I'm like, well. Really? Yeah, like some of my favorite chips, ruffles, cheddar, sour cream. They taste like absolute saline. You can't do it at all.
Starting point is 00:05:58 Yeah. And so your smell, what would you put that back percentage? I would say it's back at 85. I get most of it again. Wow. Hey, Mike, uh, hoax or not? It was never, and hers was after a flu shot. She blamed it after a flu shot.
Starting point is 00:06:14 The flu shot made her sound British. What? But when she had run or walk backwards, she lost accents. It was out of Jamaican. I mean, that's a wild. That's wild. I saw yesterday, Katie Ladeki, our big swimming hope, because she's awesome. She's swam like the 1,500 meters.
Starting point is 00:06:33 because today is the gold medal swim. But she won by like 15 seconds. That seems like a long time. It's a long time. That is forever. That is forever. That is forever. Like she just swam and swam and swam and swam.
Starting point is 00:06:47 And she hit. One. Two. Fifteen seconds until the second place person came along. It was in a heat. And again, the gold. You ever seen a video first woman with milk on her head? No.
Starting point is 00:07:00 The viral video where she's so calm. Her body's so calm when she's so calm. She can take a glass of milk and put it on her head as she's swimming. Stop it. And the milk stays on top of her head as she swims. With her arms moving? No, she's swimming. Yes.
Starting point is 00:07:13 Like she's going through the pool. Like with their arms? Yes. Because you can swim with your feet. She's swimming with the milk on her head. I'm telling you it's an amazing video. We're getting gold. We're getting that gold tomorrow.
Starting point is 00:07:22 We've got to get more goals. Yeah, we have a different style. Oh, there it is. I wouldn't be able to do that. There's a chocolate milk on her head. And what is she doing with her arms lunchbox? She's moving. She's swimming.
Starting point is 00:07:31 Yeah, chocolate milk is sitting there. It's graceful. The real reason that Olympic athletes bite their medals, do you know that? Make sure they're real. For the pictures, really. Yeah. That's it. It's just been photo op.
Starting point is 00:07:45 Yeah, back in the day. Dude, she is going in the pool and the milk is not spilling. This is bananas. There she goes. She's halfway. Almost to touch the wall. Here we go. We're coming in.
Starting point is 00:07:58 Five. Go, touch you know they took pieces of the Eiffel Tower and put it in every medal? That is cool. Whenever they were kind of rebuilding some of the Apple Tower, all that scrap metal, they saved a bunch of it and they put it in all the metals, which I thought was pretty cool too. Yeah, that Ladd Bible story. There was never a thing, maybe way, way back in the day,
Starting point is 00:08:17 they would bite it like the early 1900s to see if it was real, but it's just for the picture thing. That's why they do that. Yeah. Okay. Which states drank the most beer? Germany. Texas.
Starting point is 00:08:28 Okay. England. California. States. Oh, New York. Why am I thinking in the world? North Dakota. It's all other 49 states to shame when it comes to the love of beer, downing 45.8 gallons of beer per capita.
Starting point is 00:08:41 So what they're saying is not based on population. The population would be New York City, Los Angeles, to pride them. But based on per person, North Dakota is number one. Shout out to all our North Dakota listeners. Probably drunk right now. That translates to about 631 cans of beer for each person in the state a year. That's incredible. That's like two beers a day for everybody in the state of North Dakota. That is incredible.
Starting point is 00:09:04 Including children? No, I think of age people. Tennessee's in 41st place. Whoa. At the bottom of the list, Utah, which makes sense. Oh, because they don't drink.
Starting point is 00:09:16 Mormons don't drink. There's a lot of heavy Mormon population. So they don't drink at all? No caffeine either. Wow. Can you ever sneak a shot of caffeine? When you say caffeine, you mean, because doesn't chocolate have caffeine in it?
Starting point is 00:09:29 Again, I'm not going to get down to, I'm not a Mormon. I've had friends that were Mormon. Sorry. They don't do caffeine is what I know. They drink coffee and they drink alcohol. I mean, I'm basically Mormon without the beliefs. I'll do a little caffeine, but I don't drink alcohol.
Starting point is 00:09:41 There's a lot of the stuff. I don't smoke. That's true. I don't smoke. You didn't hook up. I don't, I didn't hook up. I mean, look at this. Yeah, you might.
Starting point is 00:09:47 Exactly, except for the whole beliefs part. Basically and that. Play me this voicemail here, Ray. Hey, Bobby Bones. I just wanted to let you know that you just got a huge shout out from Kenny, who is a contestant or a house guest to all. on Big Brother this season. I'm watching the feeds,
Starting point is 00:10:07 and he just gave a big shout out to Bobby Bones and said that he wanted to be on your show once he's not in the house anymore, and he talked about how much he loves you and you're dancing on to the stars and all that kind of stuff. And so he really knows who you are, and he's very excited to have a possibility
Starting point is 00:10:25 of getting an interview with you after he gets out of the house. Done. Never even seen the show, by me. I know what it is. tell you we made big brother. Oh, was that, you are? Yes.
Starting point is 00:10:36 How old is Kenny? And how did you see it? Why did you not tell me? I forgot until this lady called. And Kenny is probably... He's 52 from Boston. He's a former undercover cop. Oh, cool.
Starting point is 00:10:49 And he's got a little gouties, bald. I mean, tall dude. He was one of the two on the block. Wait, so you're watching? Yeah. So how did that come up? Who's retired from the show? Ray says he's retired.
Starting point is 00:11:01 Yeah, I'm out. Are you not watching it at all? No, because they introduced an AI host now. Big Brother said, we don't even care about real humans anymore. We're bringing in AI. That's what you're standing for? Yeah. Your whole phone is AI, bro.
Starting point is 00:11:13 Why do you think your algorithm is? That's been AI for years. No, but it's really stupid. But Julie Chen is out of a job now because the AI bot is what does the show. Maybe she didn't want to do it. I'm sure there was something. No, she's still there, but they don't use her as much. It's like, oh, instead of...
Starting point is 00:11:27 I really don't care about the AI thing. But, go ahead. Man, yeah. Get him on the show. That's cool. I mean, yeah, it seems like, I mean, it's only been on there like nine days. How did you know he's mentioned the show? Because my wife was watching on the live feeds.
Starting point is 00:11:40 So it's, but it's not on the TV show. You guys are watching on the live feeds. I don't watch the live feeds. Let me get this straight. I don't watch the live feeds. I ain't got time for that. You have time to watch eight episodes of teen mom. But we will see it could be on the regular show
Starting point is 00:11:52 because they edit whatever's on the live feed and put it on the live show. It could make it on the live show. I'm a big Kenny guy. Hope Kenny wins. he's my big brother. Is that how he said? No, Big Brother's like the eye in the sky. So it's figuratively. It's not literally a big brother. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:07 I want Kenny be my big brother. He's got a rough season so far. He's not going to win. Not the way it's going. No, spoiler alert. I mean. We're rooting for Kenny. Well, it's live though, isn't it? Yeah. So you can't really spoil it. Right. Yeah, we're rooting for Kenny.
Starting point is 00:12:20 All right, Kenny, go again, big boy. Big dog, big brother? Yeah, he'll be out quick. Okay. Well, you guys are haters. All right. Thank you for that call. This guy's a window washer and he's up on what's Alabama's tallest building and they have an issue with the rig. And so he calls his mom to let him know he's like up there and he can't get down and he's scared. Oh gosh. I know.
Starting point is 00:12:40 He called his mom? Yeah. I would call the... Well, I think they already knew. Oh. He was trying to say... I don't think he called his mom to come save him. Like mom get the elevator.
Starting point is 00:12:50 Jared Cooper works for a window washing company in Mobile Alabama called Squeegeegee Squad. And on Monday afternoon, he was stuck dangling from the side of the building, 435. 50 feet up. His equipment malfunctioned while he was cleaning the windows of Alabama's tallest building. It's called the RSA tower. It's 35 stories. He was just below the 33rd floor. Of course he was that high when it breaks. He can't be on like the fourth floor. Right. The 33rd floor when a piece of equipment called a dissender locked up. From my experience to this, the decender is what the rope goes into and you let it out. It's basically, it just holds the rope going in and out. To help you gradually go down. Yeah, and it grabs.
Starting point is 00:13:29 So there's the dissender And that thing messes up so he couldn't go up or down He called 911, firefighters were there And so he was just hanging out So he was like, I guess I'll call my mom Oh Just in case Well, it also probably brings comfort
Starting point is 00:13:43 If your mom is someone that gives you that She could, yeah, that would bring me comfort To be able to talk to my mom The fire department got there Took about an hour to get him down That's terrible This is him and his mom talking afterward 50-50 shot
Starting point is 00:13:56 Either it's going to lock her, it's not And when it locked, I was open. Okay, well, here we go. He calls me a lot from work, and he said, hey, Mom, I'm stuck here on a ledge, and I'm just hanging out here, you know, waiting until to see if Will will be able to get me down. And I was like, okay. We haven't had many problems out of our equipment. We've noticed things that we were trying to get replaced and I haven't had the chance to.
Starting point is 00:14:16 Jared has always been kind of a daredevil, and he always, it's a high-risk job. He's like, sign me up. If problems with the equipment is it hanging and then you just end up hanging, that's pretty good. because a real problem with the equipment is it not working and it falling out. And then you go and a ass flat. Yeah. I could never have a job like that. No, I did a couple things on my show, breaking Bobby Bones.
Starting point is 00:14:38 Once I realized I was terribly afraid of heights. That's what they did. They did every week. I was at the Grand Canyon and I'd never seen the Grand Canyon. It is awesome to see. But then I had to go and clean the walkout because there's one place you can pay and you go inside this little shop. And then there's a clear, it's like a sky bridge that you walk out on and you're going to look down. But it's all glass.
Starting point is 00:14:58 But someone's got to clean the bottom of it because it's glass and it's got to be clean. And so it's thousands of feet up. And so someone has to go without somebody was me and I had to get on a rope and like pull myself out there. It was miserable. It was most scared I've ever been. I was more scared then than when I had a gun to my head outside of an ATM when a guy was pistol whipping me. Oh, gosh. I was more scared.
Starting point is 00:15:20 I was more scared to just let go whenever I needed to get on the rope to transfer me over to the sky bridge. I couldn't. I was like, I can't do this. In my head, I'm like, well, you're going to do it eventually. So you can keep putting it off. Or you can just go ahead and get the hard part over. And if you're going to die, you're going to die anyway. That's what I told myself. Because I wasn't going to not do it, but it was tough.
Starting point is 00:15:41 It's 4,000 feet above the grandkids. Oh, man. That's what that thing was. And you're just hanging on one rope. And how often do they have to clean that? Someone does it every three months or so, I believe. Okay. It was terrible.
Starting point is 00:15:53 Spoiler, I lived. Yeah. Oh, good. Here now. Yeah. Yeah, you can check out the show on Amazon, but it sucked. Yeah, I don't like heights very much. A win is a win.
Starting point is 00:16:02 A win is a win. I don't care what you're saying. Yep, that's me, Clivert Taylor the 4th. You might have seen the skits, the reactions, my journey from basketball to college football, or my career in sports media. Well, somewhere along the way, this platform became bigger than I ever imagined. And now I'm bringing all of that excitement to my brand new podcast, The Clifford Show. This is a place for raw, unfiltered conversations with some of your
Starting point is 00:16:26 favorite athletes, creators, and voices that not only deserve to be heard, but celebrated. One week, I'll take you behind the scenes of the biggest moments in sports and entertainment, and the next we'll talk about life, mental health, purpose, and even music. So, if you've ever supported me or you're just chasing down a dream, this is right where you need to be. Listen to the Clifford Show on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcast.
Starting point is 00:16:56 podcast or wherever you get your podcast. And for more behind the scenes, follow at Clifford and at TikTok Podcast Network on TikTok. I went and sat on the little ottoman in front of him. Hi, Dad. And just when I said that, my mom comes out of the kitchen. She says, I have some cookies and milk. This is this badass convict. Right.
Starting point is 00:17:19 Just finished five years. I'm going to have cookies and milk at him all. Yeah. On the Ceno Show podcast, each episode invites you into a raw, unfiltered conversations about recovery, resilience, and redemption. On a recent episode, I sit down with actor, cultural icon Danny Trail, talk about addiction, transformation, and the power of second chances. The entire season two is now available to binge featuring powerful conversations with the guests like Tiffany Addish, Johnny Knoxville, and more. I'm an alcoholic. and without this truth, I'm going to die.
Starting point is 00:17:56 Open your free I-Heart radio app. Search the Cino Show and listen now. I feel like it was a little bit unbelievable until I really start making money. It's Financial Literacy Month, and the podcast, Eating While Broke, is bringing real conversations about money, growth, and building your future. This month, hear from top streamer, Zoe Spencer, and venture capitalist Lakeisha Landrum-Pierre, as they share their journeys from starting out to leveling up. If I'm outside with my parents and they're seeing all these people come up to me for pictures,
Starting point is 00:18:30 it's like, what? Today now, obviously, it's like 100%. They believe everything, but at first it was just like, you got to go get a real job. There's an economic component to community striving. If there's not enough money and entrepreneurship happening in communities, they fail. And what I mean by fail is they don't have money to pay for food. They cannot feed their kids.
Starting point is 00:18:50 They do not have homes. Communities don't work unless there's money. flowing through them. Listen to Eating While Broke from the Black Effect Podcast Network on the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Time for the news. Bobby's big. Stories.
Starting point is 00:19:08 Looking at the medal count for the Olympics, the United States overall has 27 medals. They are far in the lead with France at number two with 20. That being said, we kind of suck on golds. We only have four, and a lot of people have more than us. But our gold sports haven't hit yet. We're ready for the gold sports. We have a mark on our calendar. I got a marked on the calendar.
Starting point is 00:19:28 Goldsport. Our women's gymnastics team won goal, which is pretty good. Simone Biles had hurt calf. She dominated. There were a couple slip-ups by her. I watched a lot of this. A couple slip-ups by our team, but we were so far ahead, it didn't matter. Like, just crushed.
Starting point is 00:19:42 So what did that make, yesterday's count is like seven? So we were at 20? What do you mean? If we were 27 now, is that what we got, how many goals we got, or medals we got yesterday? Well, not just yesterday, leading up to yesterday. Oh, okay. 27 of the day would be pretty awesome.
Starting point is 00:19:57 No, no, no, no. Overall, from the beginning of the Olympics, we have 27 medals and only four golds. You know, I found myself really enjoying a couple events that we didn't win gold in. And I was like, who am I? But it's mostly the events that we've never meddled in. I have been obsessed with this women's seven-on-seven rugby. Has it come across your timeline yet? And the girl who's awesome?
Starting point is 00:20:18 Dude, that was the most incredible Olympic. finish in the history of the Olympics. And the woman... Oh my goodness. That is like the superstars running people over didn't even make the 90-yard run it tonight. No! Amy, there was like six seconds left on the clock.
Starting point is 00:20:34 And they are way... I mean, they are all the way across the time. I don't even know what rugby is. And I don't know the rules. I don't understand it. And the girl has it and she looks to her left like she's going to throw it back to the left and she throws it back right.
Starting point is 00:20:46 Run somebody over. And the girl goes to tackle her and she just runs her over. and then she turns on the afterburners 90 yards. Crazy. I don't know what they call it, but she scored. And then we kicked it through the little polls, and we got her first ever medal in rugby.
Starting point is 00:21:03 And it was awesome. It was so cool to see her turn on those jets and leave them in the dust. Yeah, she straight out ran her after a stiff arm. I mean, Derek Henry was commenting on the other girl's stiff arm, too. We're just bigger and stronger. We didn't win gold. We won bronze, but it's the first time we've ever meddled in that. That was cool.
Starting point is 00:21:21 gymnastics team. We've sucked forever. No medals. They want a bronze. That was pretty cool. That's pretty cool. So I don't mind a bronze if we've never won anything else because that means we're taking a step to gold. We just got to get the goal. Okay. So we don't get gold this time. I don't like gold then bronze. I like nothing than bronze, then gold. But it's pretty cool. It's a pretty good day for the Olympics yesterday. We just don't have enough golds. Only four. Basketballs. Basketballs today. Maybe now. No, I think in an hour basketball. We're playing South Sudan.
Starting point is 00:21:54 I took America minus 27. They played us. They almost beat us in the exhibition. Wow. Yeah. Anyway, we've been watching a lot at the house. I watched one girl. I don't know what country she was from.
Starting point is 00:22:05 She was warming up on the parallel bars. And she fell and went face first right into the mat. And the warm up. And I was like, show that again. But they wouldn't show it again. It was a warm up. Golly, that would shake me up big time for my performance. But then, or you're like, okay, now what caused that?
Starting point is 00:22:21 so I'm not going to do it again. I don't know. Yeah, it might have been in Brazil because there was one Brazil girl that had a big cut above her eye. Different girl. I didn't see that too. Oh, really? I was only cut above the eye and I was like, what happened? Yeah, I was like respect because then she went out and did it.
Starting point is 00:22:33 Yeah, it's pretty cool. Moving on, the foods you crave reveal something about you. For instance, if you crave a salty potato chip, these are the stupidest stories, but I'm going to read it because it's just fun to talk about. You tend to believe that outside forces, not your own actions, determine your fate. Okay. I like salty things. I think a lot of people feel.
Starting point is 00:22:51 that way and I think a lot of people also crave salty things. This is like a horoscope. You can just insert yourself into this at any point to be like, yeah, that's me. If you crave dark chocolate at times, you're the life of the party. Yeah. If you crave milk chocolate, which I hate dark chocolate, love milk. You're the quiet, introspective type. But here's the thing.
Starting point is 00:23:12 I love milk chocolate. I don't talk when I'm out of here, but I'm not that quiet and introspective for half my day. If you crave spicy food, you love order, you dislike wasting time, time and sugar tends to make you want to stand out and feel special. It's sugar all the time for me. Sugar in the morning, sugar in the evening. I love sugar. That's from what flavor is your personality.
Starting point is 00:23:33 Girls are smarter. In school, boys are known as being better at science and math and girls have always been known to be better at English and history, but that is totally wrong because, despite the stereotype, girls have gotten higher grades than boys in every subject throughout their school years for nearly a century. Wow. They're also better at taking their time and reading instructions for the given subject from the American Psychological Association. But we just tab, well, boys do this, so you're going to grow into this field.
Starting point is 00:24:01 Yeah, some conditioning there for sure. Cultural conditioning that is unfair. A woman finds a strange object inside of her abdomen after doctors forgot to remove it during a colostomy two years ago. No, it's so crazy. Like she thought her cancer was coming back and it turns out it was just the cloth that was left in there from her cancer surgery. Yeah. It was a piece of cloth that was left inside of her body for two years. Because they had an operation to remove that cancerous tumor.
Starting point is 00:24:27 Yes. And then she had a colostomy bag. And then she saw like this material in her bag. And she's like, what is this material? So she went into the doctor and they're like, oh, that's a cloth. She's going to sue. I would think so. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:43 That's tough. That's from the Daily Mail. Guitar Center employees found thousands of dollars in drugs stuffed inside of a guitar amp. You know, not that crazy. I don't feel like it's cartel. I feel like that's touring musician that forgot where their drugs were. Yeah, I think that falls into that category.
Starting point is 00:24:59 Unless it's like seven guitar cases in a row just full of like crack. Then they're moving them. I think that's a rock and roll. Cartel is like canned tomatoes. And also they found there was a bunch and they found a bunch in the back of an amp. So they pulled the back of the end. And there was a lot, but it feels more. I'm saying again, it was a lot.
Starting point is 00:25:19 lot. But you can only, it feels like that's just the guy that was holding the drugs for the, could be wrong. Don't know much about drugs. I see I'm in docu-series. I know, but now that you're saying it's a lot. Well, think about an amp. It's probably three feet wide, this amp, like three feet wide, three feet tall. In the back, it has like a false back you can take off because, and it's just full of like. Oh, that is way more than just party rock and roll drugs. I, I think they've valued it at $100,000. Oh, man, that's a lot. I feel like that's for the travel. That's the travel bag.
Starting point is 00:25:52 I don't know. You guys have party like me. Hey, you haven't been on tour like I have. I don't know anything either. I just watch documentaries, but I feel like that's more involved. It's a lot. Because I feel like tour
Starting point is 00:26:03 you would just get new stuff in every city. That's risky. You don't want to, why not just take it with you, keep it on the bus? Hey, but guys, do you don't realize how much that is? No, I know it's a lot.
Starting point is 00:26:13 Well, if you're going to use it all, well, you want to prepare. It's like going on vacation. You need enough underwear. If you're going on a tour, you need enough drugs. Sure. I have no idea, by the way.
Starting point is 00:26:21 IHOP is bringing back all you can eat pancakes. That's a bad move. Four? IHOP. I think they probably know what's up with their business model, right? I mean, doing it. Now Thursday's the number 15th customers going to endless supply of pancakes with an order of any IHop breakfast combo. Both pancake deals come with only buttermilk pancakes.
Starting point is 00:26:42 Other flavors don't apply. Spoon University with that. We talked about Simone Bile. She is now the most accomplished American. American gymnast ever. There's a Russian gymnast that has like 15 or 16 more medals than her. And Michael Phelps is the all time of all time when he has like 26 or 30 or something. But still a really big deal. And again, she has a hurt calf. I mean, I have a hurt calf. I drag my leg just to my desk here. She's flipping around. I guess in a Las Vegas casino hits over $2 million on a jackpot with a $3 bet.
Starting point is 00:27:13 I don't know. A lucky guest at the Palms Casino Resort. $3 will of fortune $3.000. Dang. Official said the player had under a dollar left on the machine
Starting point is 00:27:25 in their money because you can see on the little digital display how much you have left and they hit the $2.1 million jackpot from CBS Austin.
Starting point is 00:27:33 Oh. That is crazy. I'd flip out and they come to you, right? Oh yeah. You don't get, Ray, you guys have hit for a few thousand, right?
Starting point is 00:27:42 Yeah, if you go over a thousand they come to you. And do they take taxes out immediately? Depends. It's like some weird line around 1.4 where they'll start to take taxes. 1.4 what?
Starting point is 00:27:51 1.000. That's not how you say 1. That's $1,400. But your 5 grand, your 3 grand will for sure take out taxes. Between the 1 and the 2, sometimes they do, some they don't. Did they take yours out when Bay hit? Mine out. Well, you and Bay, it's the same, right? Yeah, yeah. They brought a sheet out. She had to do it. It's like a 30-minute process. It's so annoying. So you never want them to do it. You'd rather just do it at the end of the year. Because it totally kills the vibe and buzz.
Starting point is 00:28:14 I'd be vibing pretty hard. I'd be vibing so hard I need one of those amps full of drugs. And I don't even do drugs. But I'd be like, I just hit so hard. Where's the amp? Yeah, I would enjoy that 30 minutes of sitting there going, man, I won $1,000. Yeah, that'd be awesome. Like, oh, man, you're going to take 30 minutes of my time. That's cool.
Starting point is 00:28:30 It's also weird Ray calls $1,400, $1.4,000. I know. Like that time, they did win, and he's like, yeah, we won like 2.38. It does sound like a million right away. Yeah, we're like, 2.3,000. Oh, $2,300. Yeah, that's a lot. But now it feels like less because you made us believe it was $2.3 million.
Starting point is 00:28:48 that's pretty cool. If anybody out there has hit a massive slot machine, let us know. Call us. I've never really even played slots to the point of investing an hour in it. I will stop and play Will of Fortune sometimes. That's fun because it lands on spin and it spins around and then it lands on whatever amount of dollars you get. I always got like $25 or $75. Never really got a big one.
Starting point is 00:29:08 I wonder that person that just won that $2 million. Like were they just hitting the slot for a little bit or were they playing like all week long? I mean, J-Lo's mom. like hit for like a million dollars like that's unbelievable that's what i'm saying like the world isn't fair but i feel like jalo's mom is playing a high dollar slot and that's what she's doing the whole time not that she should win but i feel like she has a lot of money she's playing a high dollar slot the odds are better on high dollar slots and if you do it a whole lot you probably at some point win something that makes sense i thought of it i i think of it always like oh they sat down for five minutes put like
Starting point is 00:29:40 20 bucks in and they hit big you know you walk by a slot machine and just calls your name so you throw some money in it real quick you don't sit there and invest you your time. She won $2.4 million. I'm not sure how much she put in, but that's wild. $2.4 million. Yeah, $2.1. It was a $3.3 slot machine. That ain't even high rollers, bro. See? That's what I'm talking about. The world's not fair. But no one claims that, though. You're not like breaking news. We're not all like, you know what? I thought it was fair till today about Jaylo's mom. All right. Thank you. Those were Bobby's Big. Stories.
Starting point is 00:30:13 I signed up for something. It's like a fantasy camp for adults, 30. and over the John Calapari basketball experience and you go for two days and you compete and they like coach you. I mean, that sounds fun. Well, I saw it pop up and he's the head coach of Arkansas basketball and it's like two days. Come compete. We'll put you on teams. They'll do a draft.
Starting point is 00:30:39 What's the age? 30 and above. That's it. You could be with other 30, you could be with 30 year olds, people your age 40 something or 80. Yeah. I think what they do, if I'm bright here, you have like shoot around and they look at you, then different coaches draft you. And then you play on teams and it's a tournament.
Starting point is 00:30:56 If it's all on like the Razorback Arena and you, like give my sizes for like jerseys. Oh, this is your fantasy. This is my fantasy. Yeah. I'm not even not good of a basketball player. Well, that's cool. Wins camp. In September.
Starting point is 00:31:10 Okay. So do you feel supported in this? Not at all. Thank you for asking. I texted a couple of my friends. first of all, I texted Caitlin's dad. And I said, hey, because he was
Starting point is 00:31:22 a really good basketball player, still is a pretty good athlete, to be honest with you. And I said, hey, I just signed up for this. Going to camp with other adult men. Going to go play ball for two days. I think it's how you phrase it. He said, that'll be a blast. I'm going to lay odds on which joint or joints you're going to injure. Yeah. Yeah. So he didn't make fun of you, but
Starting point is 00:31:38 a little bit. Yes, yes, yes. And then I hit another one of my friends and I was like, this is crazy. I'm going to go dude, John Caliperi fantasy basketball camp. And he's like, how many hours you think you'll last? I mean, it's only two days. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:54 And you've been training for this. I know, but the things rip and stuff. I'm like, I'm going for no rebounds. Yeah. I'm playing outside only, but I can't, I'm not really an outside player. But I'm just going to, like, wear the clothes and run around with other men, you know? So you need to pack for camp and where do you sleep? I haven't told my wife yet.
Starting point is 00:32:11 Okay. But you told her dad? Yeah. We talk about sports a bunch. I was like, this would be fun. No, but do you know where you sleep? Like, is it like a dorm? Right, do you go to the dorm?
Starting point is 00:32:20 It's a dorm. That would be awesome. I have to eat in the cafeteria. Right. I'm thinking like, do you need to pack your overnight bag? What snacks I'm taking? I hustle. If anybody's listening, it's drafted, you may look at me when I'm shooting around,
Starting point is 00:32:32 I'll be like, man, that guy can't hit crap. I'm a baller, though. I'm a gamer. I hustle. Do you think the people that put this on, they're like, look at all this money we're taking from these adult men that just went to fly. Like, they're like, this is the easiest money grab ever for the, for the university. They're probably saying, they're probably doing it for money for like, I know.
Starting point is 00:32:49 And that's what I'm saying. Easy money grab. Reach out to adult men that have a fantasy of playing basketball. But it's every adult man's fantasy to play college football, basketball, NFL football, everybody. I know. It's genius. I'm not, we're saying the same thing. It's really smart.
Starting point is 00:33:07 Right. But do you think, I mean, how many people can really go to this? 40. They cap it at 40. Okay. And I might be the only person that signed up. I have no idea. As soon as it popped up.
Starting point is 00:33:17 No way. It's full. He put it on his Instagram yesterday. Coach Cal did and I just immediately went and signed up. Didn't know much about it. And then I sent on my sizes and I was like, I'm ready to go. Now, do I start training for basketball, though, now? You have to.
Starting point is 00:33:30 I don't have a gym to shoot in. Odds of an injury. 10 meaning for sure. I'm not going to make it through because I'm going to tear something early. One meaning, I'm a soldier. Okay, I go seven. You're going to injure yourself, but you're going to make it through. Yeah, I like that.
Starting point is 00:33:45 Yeah. That's pretty consistent with everything I do. Lunchbox? I'd say a seven. Yeah. I just think playing basketball two days in a row of not playing basketball, that's a lot. And you're not going to take it where you go, okay, 50%. You're going to go 100% diving on the floor, trying to get hustle points.
Starting point is 00:34:01 That's why I do. Oh, start your visualization now. What am I visualizing? My eyes are closed. You're at the free of life. Cutting down the nets. Oh, no, no. No, no.
Starting point is 00:34:09 You're, that's what. Michael Jordan did. He would always visualize himself, like making shots. Anybody locally here? Like, college basketball coach wants to train me for a while. Like, I can play a little bit. We go and play with these teams, these college, or we worked out with the Pacers.
Starting point is 00:34:26 That's all good. But, like, I guess I need to get into a training regimen now up until this program. Also need to let my wife know. Yeah. Probably the opposite order of that. I probably need to tell my wife first. When I booked it,
Starting point is 00:34:38 because I know what she's going to say, and she's going to be supportive, but she's going to be like, oh, no, you're going to get hurt. Yeah, but that's why if you start training now, you can get those muscles used to... Muscles are aged. I don't know what to tell you that.
Starting point is 00:34:52 I mean, do you get to use the real locker room? Everything. Your jersey's going to be hanging in a locker? I don't know about that, but probably, I think they probably do the whole experience. Otherwise, I'm going to pay this money. Are you going to get game tape back? Heck yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:04 I hope they stream it, and I can tell everybody. Watch me on channel stream. Tonight, I'm playing. I'm not really a post player though, but I also don't want to play outside. I'm happy for you. You seem like I can see in your face. You're happy about this. Okay, I found it.
Starting point is 00:35:19 The internet's been bad. I'm doing the playing package. So it's fantasy basketball camp. There's a tip-off dinner with Coach Cow. And then it talks about how, you know, you play for two days. Sign up. Tournament. Let's go.
Starting point is 00:35:32 Anyway, I'm probably going to. It says whether you're a basketball player or a die-hard fan, our fantasy camp offers an unforgettable experience tailored to all skill levels. let's go i'm all skill levels that's how you would define me all skill levels ball out in the evaluation game and skills contest run on the same hardwood as the stars play during five v five mingle with the players and coaches at the nightly social i don't care about that and climb the ladder to cut down the net on championship sunday i care about that championship gold medal or bust i'm in simon biles in this thing i need a local coach to start working with me
Starting point is 00:36:10 I got two months. Wait, July 31st. So tomorrow's August 1st. I have less than two months. I have a month and a half. Oh my God. I should be training right now. Yeah, no, I mean, but the good thing is you've started.
Starting point is 00:36:20 You've been in progress. Like you've been doing your softball stuff, different sport, but you're still, you're very active. You're taking care of yourself. Playing participants must be 30 years of age or older. Yeah. Okay. I'm ready to go. And I can sit on my tape.
Starting point is 00:36:34 Where have we been, Mike? We went to work out with the Pacers. We worked out with Florida State basketball. Heck, we went to Arkansas basketball. basketball, different regime. They're going to be like, we don't need your tape. We just need to send tape ahead of time because they know what they're getting. No, they just need your registration fee.
Starting point is 00:36:47 Okay. They got that. They got that immediately. I don't need your tape. As soon as I saw pop up, they got that immediately. Okay, so that's the plan. I never met Coach Cow. I don't know Coach Cowell, but I plan to show up.
Starting point is 00:36:59 I plan for them to be like, hey, you want to maybe, I don't know, play on the team next year? The real team. My heart. Oh, my God. I'll walk on. I don't need the money. I don't need the scholarship money. I'll walk on.
Starting point is 00:37:10 Okay. All right. I mean, I don't know if that's going to happen, but we'll, we're visualizing it. Will you watch me on my stream, though, if they do it and they have it live? We watch my game. Yeah. Can't you stream yourself? No, no, I think.
Starting point is 00:37:24 It may be very private because there may be running plays that they run. Yeah, I'm not sure what's going on here. Yeah. That's tough. Oh, yeah. Do you have to sign something? Like, you're not going to reveal any secrets you learn? I don't think they teach us the actual plays of the players.
Starting point is 00:37:37 I think they're just going to, yeah, I don't really think they're going to teach us any secrets. It's, but all right, good luck to me. I need a basketball coach. One-on-one. I need some training. I don't even know where I go work out, but I need some training. Any NBA players?
Starting point is 00:37:48 Because that's about what I need. Surely someone lives here. Yeah, yeah. All right. A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care what you're saying. Yep, that's me,
Starting point is 00:37:59 Clever Taylor the 4th. You might have seen the skits, the reactions, my journey from basketball to college football, or my career in sports media. Well, somewhere along the way, this platform became bigger than I ever imagined.
Starting point is 00:38:11 And now I'm bringing all of that excitement to my brand new podcast, The Clifford Show. I went and sat on the little ottoman in front of him.
Starting point is 00:39:00 Hi, Dad. And just when I said that, my mom comes out of the kitchen. She says, I have some cookies and milk. This is a badass convict. Right. Just finished five years. I'm going to have cookies and milk at them all. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:18 On the Ceno Show podcast, each episode invites you into a raw, unfiltered conversations about recovery, resilience, and redemption. On a recent episode, I sit down with actor, cultural icon, Danny Trail to talk about addiction, transformation, and the power of second chances. And without this trouble, I'm going to die. Open your free I-Heart radio app. Search the Cito Show.
Starting point is 00:39:52 And listen now. You can have opinions. You can have like a strong stance. And then there's your body having its own program. I'm Dr. Maya Shunker, a cognitive scientist and hosts of the podcast, a slight change of plans, a show about who we are and who we become when life makes other plans. We share stories and scientific insights to help us all better navigate these periods of turbulence and transformation. There is one finding that is consistent, and that is that our resilience rests on our
Starting point is 00:40:30 relationships. I wish that I hadn't resisted for so long the need to change. We have to be willing to live with a kind of uncertainty that none of us likes. Listen to a slight change of plans on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Just got an alert from LifeLock saying someone was using my credit card at a Bojangles. And I like Bojangles. It is not, that is not me. That's not you. It's not me. I just have to be like, that ain't me. So thank God. And this is not a commercial, but literally just got the alert. And I know my wife's not a Bo Jangles right now. And that I'll be the only two people.
Starting point is 00:41:15 Does it say which location? It says what town. It's not here. So I know that's nobody bo-jing. You got got got. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So the annoying thing about this is, well, the great thing is it's, they're not going to run my credit card. The annoying thing is I got to wait two days.
Starting point is 00:41:30 You've got to go to the credit card in now. That does so. And then you have to replace whatever you had that card, like any automatic payments or anything, that's, to me, that's the exhausting part. The win is that somebody's looking out. It's a lesser loss. Ray almost got scanned. But, Ray, you set yourself, this is a scam. Mine's not a scam alert because someone just somehow has my information.
Starting point is 00:41:50 And that sucks sometimes. Do you see that company? I got a life luck about the HSA company that got their whole system was compromised. And I got some email health savings account. And so, yeah, that's another thing you can get alerts about. I got one yesterday. And it's like, what did they take? Well, it's just letting you know, it's saying, it's not saying you for sure were a part of it.
Starting point is 00:42:10 But heads up this happened. And we've got your back. because now there was a data breach and all of your info gets put out there. But LifeFalk was like, hey, we got you. What about my nudes? So I just deleted it. They get my nudes?
Starting point is 00:42:22 I don't know about that. Right. Tell Amy what you do. Yeah, so it made it, this email made it through our company firewall on Outlook and it said, you want a $500 gift card if you answer political questions? You're already blaming it on somebody else. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:42:36 You've already said it got through the company firewall, so you're going, well, if it got to me, it must be real. What? Thought it was top of the line, thought they market his spam. outside of our car? So you're just open clicking then. If it comes to your email, it's like clickety click, because we're protected by the company firewall. But our company does that to trick us to test out.
Starting point is 00:42:51 Oh, just wait. Oh, is that what? Just wait. Oh, God. Go ahead, Ray. All right, and so then that already made it seem official, so I started answering these questions. So he wanted his $500 for answering questions. But it was really attractive. It said Walmart, $500 gift card, really colorful, I'd click on it. It was only five questions. They're the simplest
Starting point is 00:43:07 political questions I've ever answered. Do you not think with your brain? It made it through our company firewall. not think with your brain that they're going to give you basically a hundred bucks yes or no question. No, no, but to defend Ray one time our company did send an email saying,
Starting point is 00:43:22 hey, here's a free $200 gift card, just click on it. That was fake. And this is even more. No, it was real. No, Bobby, it was real. Oh,
Starting point is 00:43:28 that was a Christmas one. To Lundfox's point, that was real. That's what I'm saying. There was no, like, do this to get it. That was just the company sending it going, everybody gets this for like some gift.
Starting point is 00:43:37 Yes. Okay, well, I think we're missing the big reason why Ray fell for it. It was colorful. Yeah, that's true. And so then it takes me to this page after I completed the questions, and there wasn't even a gift card anymore. It said, now you can get an Apple Watch, a new iPhone. There was a wallet for $200. It was really cool and I needed a new wallet, so I selected that.
Starting point is 00:43:56 There was a lot of great options, electronics, some smaller furniture. It was really like an electronics, appliance, home furnishings website. But not $500 anymore. There was never a mention of the $500 anymore. Go ahead. Which should have been another tell. So I picked the wallet for $200. dollars.
Starting point is 00:44:12 Oh my gosh. Okay. Over like furniture and and electronics. Like, go ahead. Well, that was the best one.
Starting point is 00:44:18 I felt that that was something I needed. The other stuff I felt it could have been kind of cheap. So I got it. And then my wife sends me a text and she says,
Starting point is 00:44:25 hey, I just declined this thing for $15. What are you trying to buy from this sofa company? And I said, oh, it's just a wallet I want and I have to pay
Starting point is 00:44:33 for shipping in Hanley. So I was paying that. So she declined it. But what she did, she goes, I declined it twice. Because then I went back in the website
Starting point is 00:44:40 and did it again. end because my purchase got declined. So I submitted it twice, still got declined again. And then she goes, well, that's a scam. You're not even going to get any of this stuff. But luckily, she declined and she said that we wouldn't get a new credit card or whatever. But then I gave him my email. So now I get probably two or three of these crap emails every day.
Starting point is 00:45:01 So what do you think the scam was? The scam was once I paid for it, I don't know. Then they were going to have even more information on me or something. So a couple things. The scam, first of all, could have been there just knocking you 15 bucks at a time. You're never going to get anything. The bigger scam is they have your information and they can use your credit card to do whatever they want with. But luckily, all they got your credit card now. No, no, they have your credit card now. No, because it got declined so it never went through. So they don't think you had to type in the numbers for them to be able to get it. Yeah, they still have it. They still have the information you typed in that was declined.
Starting point is 00:45:30 Well, anyways, we didn't want a new credit card. So we just said nothing was fishy. We're all good to our credit card company. But yeah, be careful. Watch out for that $500 gift card, guys. But what if it's really colorful? Like really colorful. I want that wallet. What was the wallet? Can you like text me a picture of it? Yeah, you can put all your credit cards in it and then you flick it and they all flip up and you get to pick which credit card you want to use.
Starting point is 00:45:51 That's cool. Yeah, that's what I'm talking about. I mean, you know how cool that would be if you're at like the bar or whatever and like, oh, and you just flick it up and you see all these credit cards. Who's flicking up your wallet at a bar? I mean, anywhere. There's flicking up a wallet. Impressive. Thank you, Ray.
Starting point is 00:46:05 Scam alert. Don't fill out a survey for $500. There's a new episode of In the Vets Office with Dr. Josie, and she talks about the time that a big tatty guy came in with his little bitty dog and swallowed something it shouldn't have, which was an air pod. And this is our case of the week. We take an x-ray, tail as old as time, there's something in there. I go into the owner and I say, I think he's eaten an air pod, but I don't know for sure.
Starting point is 00:46:28 And he doesn't say anything and he looks down on his phone and come to find out he's pulling up Spotify and all of a sudden I hear, oh, can do my self-free. No way, you heard it in the dog? No, no. Oh, my God. We have Miley Cyrus bumping through his intestines. Go in, take it out. The AirPods still works.
Starting point is 00:46:45 Can you imagine to hear the music? I'm the guest this week. That's not the headline. The headline was that story. But I'm on and I get bit during the show. Bye? Don't worry about it. Maybe Josie.
Starting point is 00:46:57 Okay. Josie's a vet. Interactive. In the vet's office with Dr. Josie. And we do talk about the worst bite she's ever gotten on the job. I've only ever been bit on the job twice. The first time was by a camel. In vet school.
Starting point is 00:47:09 A camel, like an actual... An actual camel. Yeah, we were taking care of it, and it reached around, and it bit my shoulder, and it took a big old chunk of skin out. And it hurt so bad. Is that normal for in vet school that you're dealing with camels? Yeah, they have camel hanging out. You kind of deal with anything that comes along. And this is the University of Cairo.
Starting point is 00:47:27 So check out, in the vet's office with Dr. Josie. It's a really great new podcast that I think you're going to like. All right, thanks. Bobby Bone Show. Bore up the day. This story comes us from Lodew. Angeles, California. Over the last couple months, four people have been going into 7-Elevens and a CBS
Starting point is 00:47:44 and robbing at a gunpoint stealing all the money and cops were like, man, we can't catch these guys. Then one of the guys went on Instagram, posted all that money in his hand. It was like, love my brothers. And he tagged all three of his accomplices. That's crazy. He would do that. That's crazy he would do any of that.
Starting point is 00:48:02 He would get on and show the money and then tag the people he's been robbing places with. See, if I were a judge, I would have trouble sentencing him to something crazy. Because he's obviously not well because no one does that as well. Well, you want to brag about it if you didn't. No, I know. You're making a really ira. Because you may just need the money, but the guy's very, like I would probably go, yeah, you need some time in like the mental hospital.
Starting point is 00:48:29 Maybe. If you're making that. And then if you're his friends, like, why'd you tag me, dude? You're going to kill him. All right, that's it. I'm Lunchbox. That's your Bonehead Story of the Day. Amy, are you interested in an update on a lunchbox feud?
Starting point is 00:48:43 Sure, yeah. You can say no. No, I mean, just not do it. No, I am. I get blamed a lot of times for enabling him to tell these stories and do this. So I would like to enable you to enable him if you'd like to hear it. I'll enable him. Okay.
Starting point is 00:48:55 So not me, everybody. Okay. Lunchbox is still feuding with St. Jude. Oh, well, this. Exactly, which I agree. I thought, okay. And we love St. Jude. We have worked together with St. Jude.
Starting point is 00:49:06 By we, we mean. us in the studio and you, the listener, and we've been able to raise over $20 million. It has been a wonderful relationship. And all just to hopefully eventually knock out childhood cancer. We get that. We have just a small, just a small sliver of a roll. However, lunchbox always makes it a little more about himself. And last year, I believe you did an event for them.
Starting point is 00:49:29 Yeah, country cares where I went to Memphis. Like I went and spent the whole weekend, you know, did a bunch of events, toured the hospital, sat through their civil. seminars, saw the ducks at the hotel downtown. Okay. And my version of this is he went, but then he asked for extra night so his family could stay on like a mini vacation. And then he got really drunk at an event. I did.
Starting point is 00:49:50 They had a Halloween costume party and they wanted me to emce the costume contest. And I had been drinking and I was making fun of people's costumes and making fun of people. That was last year. Hey, that's water under the bridge though. I thought it was water under the bridge. They weren't very happy, supposedly. Then they have an event here in Nashville, and they have scuba and Abby host it.
Starting point is 00:50:13 They don't even come to me. So that was like, okay, they're trying to send a message. Cool, whatever. Like, all right, you know. What's the message? We don't want our people drunk at events? I'm not sure what the message was. I was like, all right, cool.
Starting point is 00:50:24 You know what I mean? Whatever? No big deal. Country cares is coming up. They sent a message loud and clear. They don't want me there. They changed their entire program so I couldn't make it. I don't think they're going to change an entire program about you.
Starting point is 00:50:38 Last year, it was on a Thursday Friday. Yeah. This year, it's on a Monday, Tuesday. I did think that was a little weird. You think that's about you? That is saying, hey, what happened last year is not going to happen this year. We don't want that guy back. We are switching the days.
Starting point is 00:50:52 This has nothing to do with you. Because we know that he can't make it on a Monday or Tuesday. So they wrote it right there. They didn't say it specifically, but that was writing on the wall that says, hey. What are you more upset about Scuba and Abby being asked to host? over a you. That's pretty bad, but changing the whole program.
Starting point is 00:51:09 But I don't think that's because of you. I'm sure there was some financial consideration they had to make that wasn't about you. And you're upset that if you do go on a Monday, Tuesday, that you're not going to be able to stay an extra day with your family and get the extra room again because that would be a Wednesday and you can't miss more of the show. That's exactly also true. I can't take the family. Then if it's on a Monday Tuesday, there's no weekend getaway. We can't go to the Memphis Zoo. We can't go to the new park down there by the river that they've just redone.
Starting point is 00:51:33 That was amazing. You can go on the front end. arrive early. You could go pay for your own on Saturday, Sunday. I ain't doing that. Scoobah, what's up? Do you know why they moved it? I think to your point, maybe it's when you're booking a hotel and event space is probably cheaper and more affordable. It's a charity, by the way, on a Monday and a Tuesday. And they don't want to have to pay, because they do
Starting point is 00:51:50 pay for the hotels for everybody. Exactly. And there's artists that are involved, so maybe it's around travel schedules or touring. That is a big one. So it's not had nothing to do with him. Scoobit just nailed it. Even when we do the million dollar show here for St. Jude, Eddie and I do a show at the Ryman every year, an artist play music with us. And it's like on a Tuesday. We have to do it on a Tuesday, possibly a Monday,
Starting point is 00:52:08 because artists are in town, they're not touring, and they probably want artists to be able to be there. Great point. I mean, there was artists there last year. But there aren't as many and as many aren't as available to go because they have to work. I'm just saying I saw Brothers Osborne there last year just rocking out. And then Abby went up on stage,
Starting point is 00:52:27 thought she was an artist. That was pretty funny. I forgot that story. Yeah, they said, all artists, you know, come up today, and Abby went up there like they were talking to her. Oh, yeah. He started singing. No, I think someone like convinced her to go up there, though.
Starting point is 00:52:39 I pushed her to do it. Okay. But do you think she should have fought? I've been like, scuba, no. I'm not the hardest. No, no, no. But she was like, oh, really? Okay.
Starting point is 00:52:47 She did have a song on the radio. No, she didn't. She did. Hey there, hometown. Anyway, we're diverting off this path that St. Jude. They didn't change it because of you, I assure you. When is it, scuba? I think October 21st and 22nd.
Starting point is 00:53:03 Dang, right in the middle of like when we can't leave. Exactly. That's what I mean. I guess we could work from Memphis, I guess. Yeah. Okay, well, sorry, lunchbox. That sucks. Yeah, so, I mean, St. Jude, I got it.
Starting point is 00:53:14 Cool. Message received? Message received. Got it. Change the whole program because of me. But it's kind of an honor that they... It's not about you. That's it.
