It's time for the Bobby Bones Post Show. Here's your host, Bobby Bones. Hello. I am waiting to see if I want a helmet on top. TikTok. So when it goes to open it up, I'll open it. Yes. I did win one. I won a jersey
Starting point is 00:02:07 yesterday. Packers, linebacker. I hear when they say, Mr. Bobby's in. I think I've heard that a few times today. Just for one round. Jersey's. We did a jersey. I couldn't find anything early this morning. Eddie, we're going to do it for fun. And then I did it just now. And then now I put... That means that NFC North is probably going to go back up here in one second. Okay, so we're waiting on one more person. There's eight options. and you do your 40 bucks or whatever. And then if you hit, you got a 1 and 8 shot, you win that helmet signed by whomever.
Starting point is 00:02:38 And so it says, go back up. Does that mean someone backed out? Yeah, probably. Yeah, or they could have got a refund. Or they're like, I'm going to get a refund. Oh. So you can always back out. But I'll let you guys know.
Starting point is 00:02:46 See if we win. Boom. That would be awesome. It's awesome to win. That would be awesome because you need another helmet in Jersey. I'm waiting on two helmets at home today. Oh, yesterday, Amy. I just kind of giving all this away.
Starting point is 00:02:58 I pulled up to Bobby's house to go work out. And there was like a little note in the front door. And I was like, I'll take it to Bobby. And it was like from FedEx. And he was so upset. It says, we miss. Sorry we missed. He's like, no, that's my helmet.
Starting point is 00:03:12 One of my helmets. Like I couldn't really care any less about some of these. It's just fun. And I'll end up giving them away as gifts. And it's like I'm doing the lottery, but with sports memorabilia. It's pretty cool. And it happens like instantaneous. Yes.
Starting point is 00:03:28 Dude, we got to get on the other side of this. And I don't have kids. Real. Right, you don't have kids. Like what? The other side, like being the business. Being the seller. So this morning I was flipping through,
Starting point is 00:03:40 people were selling crystals. There's all kinds of crap on there. That's why I was saying I could do my dolls. Well, do it. You probably do whatever. But scuba said lunchbox should sell this stuff from our palette. The thing is you have to mail it all out and pay for all that too. But isn't that part of it?
Starting point is 00:03:56 I just feel like that's a, you know, like a. And I don't know how you would do it because. Well, yeah, but you don't know how to do it. No, no, I'm saying these. Like there are specific teams. You're buying the Ravens. You're buying the Patriots. Yeah, but you can just buy stuff too straight up.
Starting point is 00:04:09 You can do an auction. You can do it. Right. You know what it is. It doesn't have to be surprised. They sell that stuff too. Right. Like this morning I was watching them to do crystals.
Starting point is 00:04:16 Like you just pick a number of the crystal that you want. 16. You pay 20 bucks and you get these. Mell you the freaking crystal. No. I don't want that. You get a crystal. Dude, if you start going for crystals, you got a problem.
Starting point is 00:04:25 They do Pokemon cards. Yeah, yeah, yeah. They do a lot of cards, baseballs. I don't do any of that. All I want is jerseys and helmets. I'm a big fan of them. Huh. I've got Donnie 4858.
Starting point is 00:04:37 Grabbing that last spot for us. I appreciate that. Okay, here we go. We're going the AFC East and FEC East. It's kind of rip it. Real quick, guys, I'll throw up another helmet force and then we will get to break him. A break is when they open it. They unseal it.
Starting point is 00:04:54 This is the dumbest hobby I have now. It's like a hobby. You know what I'd really do it on the toilet? What is it? It's not a hobby. What is it? Obsession? A very temporary obsession.
Starting point is 00:05:06 Probably the helmet going back up right now, depending on how quick it sells, might be one of the last couple helmets we do. It's entertainment for you. Oh, it's entertainment. Going up right now, force. It's definitely, I watch for half an hour. Sometimes pay 20 bucks. It's like watching a movie.
Starting point is 00:05:25 Buying a movie. With a chance to win a signed prize. Okay, we're looking for the bills. Do you have it up? Yeah, no, no, no. I'm just. Oh, you're doing the teams? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:34 We're looking for the bills. The Bulls, the Dolphins, the Jets, and the Patriots, the Cowboys, the Washington football team, and the Giants, and the Eagles. Okay. Those are the eight teams that we're looking for. I had a 32. Donnie on that NFC North, Mr. Bobby, NFC. East. Woo! I've never won here at work, though.
Starting point is 00:05:58 I put a couple of helmets up there. You guys, let me know one or two. You think it's work, it's the bad luck? Probably. What's building? Yeah. Well, what helmet do we want? It doesn't matter.
Starting point is 00:06:05 Any of those divisions told me. He said one or two. He said you got to let him know. Oh, no. It's like he pulls off sealed boxes and everybody on the chat votes. Which one? Yeah, which one are you voting? I don't give a crap.
Starting point is 00:06:15 The votes don't matter. It's just for fun. In the comments. The comments, people flip. They'll take this one out. It's the first one I saw. Gunner said two. All right, Gunner.
Starting point is 00:06:23 Come on. Is that my nephew? Good luck, everybody. Drop those four-leaf clover. Let's go. Hey, drop your four-leaf clover. I don't do that. I do egg plants.
Starting point is 00:06:31 I do egg plants. He's opening it. Everybody. All boys. box cutter cutting the seal off. Out of this full-sized helmet, guys. If it's the Cowboys, can I have it? No.
Starting point is 00:06:44 Looking for another. You can do it. Hey, you can do stuff for it. Like what? You know. Let Amy call it out. You won't know. He'll say it before she does. Oh, he says it.
Starting point is 00:06:58 He doesn't just in a black bag. So the helmets in a bag? Here we go. Let's see what we got. Come on, Cowboys. Pack it. Packer, guys. That is a sweet one. Let's see what we got here.
Starting point is 00:07:16 Brett Barb. Queen on the Packers, guys, with that inscription, 1,800 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns in 2003, guys. That is a sweet hit there on green for those. Those are the last one pick. It was, the one they were reading on. Stupid.
Starting point is 00:07:38 He lost. How did he know all those stats right away? It says it's right on that. When he signed, he wrote. Wow. Wow, okay. Well. But that was fun.
Starting point is 00:07:49 Sure. Yeah. It'd been cool to win, though, huh, guys? Yeah. I'll do one more. Okay. I'll do it, Jersey. I'm going to do one more.
Starting point is 00:07:57 Okay. Amy, you want in on one of these? I'm not getting the, I don't know that there'd be a thrill for me. I got a thing from my credit card company going, hey, somebody's hacked or. Oh, transaction can't be processed. Oh, crap. I'm getting it again. They're trying to protect you.
Starting point is 00:08:13 Yes. They're trying to protect you from yourself. Yeah, they said someone's using your account. buy stuff on TikTok and I had to tell him it was me. They're like no chance he's gonna be buying jerseys. They're like he's not that stupid. Oh I just missed I lost I lost it. How do I get back to it? Oh crap now I'm just going through my feed. Oh no. What was the name of that one? Anybody know no nope. Okay I bet I know her hold on it's um dorm dudes break. What the heck I'm in some dorm with them these are college kids some of them are them.

Starting point is 00:09:45 That is really cool. Mr. Bobby, grabbing the AFC South. So we just have one spot left in the Jersey break. I got AFC South, I got AFC South. Just that NFC South. Oh, you say you're a long spot left? Just that NFC. Can you ever just buy
Starting point is 00:09:59 Yeah, so you can do that But you don't know what it is You can do it for sure win But it's like $250. Yeah, which box? Buy the last one? No, he already, Bobby said he bought it. He bought him.
Starting point is 00:10:15 Only $25 bucks. Refreshing that for you So maybe you can track him down in the comments. Last one. There's one you can buy for $750 and you for sure get a helmet sign, mini helmet in Jersey. You for sure.
Starting point is 00:10:34 I don't know who's it, yeah. I think Donnie commented a few minutes ago. Go, Douglas. If you scroll up, you should be able to... So we'll watch this crap for an hour. And it's terrible. Yeah. In case he wants to sell.
Starting point is 00:10:45 I mean, we should just get in the jersey selling business. I'm telling you, we should. How do we do that? Scorching hot. I don't know. I'd like to hear my name called. Yeah. You're ready to break another sign NFL Jersey.
Starting point is 00:10:59 Let's go. Let's go. Never one at work. I'm done after this one. I'm still. Never again. Gunner grabbing a spot in that helmet break. I got Gunner grabbing.

Starting point is 00:13:57 That's so stupid. That's so stupid. We saw Jerry Rice yesterday. Yeah, dude. Jerry Rice came through. Oh, that's pretty cool. Yeah. I saw Tom Brady the day.
Starting point is 00:14:05 That'd have been awesome. Anyway, well, ho-hum. A woman buys five identical lottery tickets Why is this story up first? I'm over here losing And this is the bullcraft They want to show me What is it?
Starting point is 00:14:17 I sound like lunchbox Exactly You know what it feels now A woman bought four identical tickets For the same lottery drawing And won five top prizes Wow A total of $50,000
Starting point is 00:14:26 UPI.com A man dresses a UPS driver Invades in Minnesota home And kill story inside What? What? That's crazy We just don't jump on those death
Starting point is 00:14:35 This says warning death Oh sorry You didn't see that part Yeah, I did until later. I was still feeling sorry for myself. Video footage from outside the home show three people arrive. In Mingo's car dressed as delivery drivers, resembling UPS workers. 37-year-old Alonzo Pierre Mingo was charged with three counts of secondary murder with intent over the killing that happened at a Minneapolis home on Friday. Home camera footage showed Mingo outside the home, holding a man in a moment at gunpoint, demanding money.
Starting point is 00:15:01 Oof, that sucks. KBZK. Chances are your dog dreams about you, says a Harvard psychologist. A Harvard psychologist, his dog's probably dream about their owners. Probably, though, they don't know. My dogs dream about food. Stanley will eat the same food every day, twice a day, exact same food, and be the most excited he's ever been about anything in the whole world. He is so excited to eat the same food again.
Starting point is 00:15:24 It'd be like if I was doing that to take a shower. Oh my God, I get a shower? Every day. But a clinical and evolutionary psychologist at Harvard Medical School spent your studying the sleep behavior in humans said it's now dogs and they dream about their everyday experiences just like humans. Birthday preparations underway for America's oldest living person who turns 116. Wow, that's old. Can't be American, right? I think he said American. It is. America is. I thought maybe they lived here, but we're from another country. Oh. That Okinawa, Japan, blue... Blue zone? Blue zone?
Starting point is 00:15:58 Where those people, just generally, they live way longer. They're blue zones all over. This is not that, but a birthday celebration is coming out for a California woman who's the oldest documented living person in the United States. Edie Cisarely a will at California turns 116. Wow.
Starting point is 00:16:15 Holy crap. 116. Like 101 you're like holy crap. 116? Yeah, yeah, that's a good question. She might be immortal. 116. Yeah, she moved.
Starting point is 00:16:28 Or she played pickleball. She was born in 1908. I mean, she's on the... What's her secret? You know how sometimes they're like, you know, A cigar a day and... She takes some butter like tequila. Butter.
Starting point is 00:16:43 Jeff Bezos, his ex-wife, McKenzie Scott, has given over $16 billion a charity since their divorce. 16 billion of charity. At the same time, Jeff Bezos adds another $100 million yacht to his fleet, $100 million yacht. Yeah. He buys a yacht. But if she gave away $16 billion, how much she got left?
Starting point is 00:16:57 Lots. Yeah. I wonder. Let me check. Okay, but... Oh, thank you, Scoba. Scoo said Mineral. He whispered at my ear.
Starting point is 00:17:05 Raids not here. It scared me. I don't know what's happening. All right, mineral. A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care what you're saying. Yep, that's me, Clivert Taylor the 4th.
Starting point is 00:17:14 You might have seen the skits, the reactions, my journey from basketball to college football, or my career in sports media. Well, somewhere along the way, this platform became bigger than I ever imagined. And now I'm bringing all of that excitement to my brand new podcast, The Clifford Show. This is a place for raw,
Starting point is 00:17:30 unfiltered conversations with some of your favorite athletes, creators, and voices that not only deserve to be heard, but celebrated. One week I'll take you behind the scenes of the biggest moments in sports and entertainment and the next we'll talk about life, mental health, purpose, and even music. The Clifford Show isn't just a podcast, it's a space for honest conversations, stories that don't always get told, and for people who are chasing something bigger. So if you've ever supported me or you're just chasing down a dream, this is right where you need to be.
Starting point is 00:17:59 Listen to the Clifford Show on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast. And for more behind the scenes, follow at Clifford and and a TikTok podcast network on TikTok. There's two golden rules that any man should live by. Rule one, never mess with a country girl. You play stupid games, you get stupid prizes. And rule two, never mess with her friends either. We always say that trust your girlfriends.
Starting point is 00:18:30 I'm Anna Sinfield, and in this new season of the girlfriends... Oh my God, this is the same man. A group of women discover they've all dated the same proliferation. I felt like I got hit by a truck. I thought, how could this happen to me? The cops didn't seem to care. So they take matters into their own hands. I said, oh, hell no.
Starting point is 00:18:51 I vowed. I will be his last target. He's going to get what he deserves. Listen to the girlfriends. Trust me, babe. On the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. What's up, everyone?
Starting point is 00:19:11 I'm Ego Wode. My next guest, you know from Stepbrothers Anchorman, Saturday Night Live and the Big Money Players Network, it's Will Ferrell. Woo, woo, woo, woo, woo. My dad gave me the best advice ever. I went and had lunch with them one day, and I was like, and dad, I think I want to really give this a shot. I don't know what that means, but I just know the groundlings.
Starting point is 00:19:34 I'm working my way up through, and I know it's a place that come, look for up-and-coming talent. He said, if it was based solely on talent, I wouldn't worry about you, which is really sweet. Yeah. He goes, but there's so much luck involved. and he's like, just give it a shot. He goes, but if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall
Starting point is 00:19:53 and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit. If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration. It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat. Just hang in there. Yeah, it would not be. Right, it wouldn't be that. There's a lot of luck. Listen to Thanks, Dad, on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcast,
Starting point is 00:20:14 or wherever you get your podcast. Yeah, it says she got in the divorce settlement $43 billion. But think about that. She's given away almost half of all of her. I mean, sure, the billion, but regardless of they have $10 or a bill, she's giving away half of all of her billions. Right. That's probably not small.
Starting point is 00:20:31 That's how you go broke. It's also, she's continuing to make money, too. How? Is she? I would assume. She didn't do a job before. You think she owns part of Amazon? No, I don't know that part.
Starting point is 00:20:43 But I would assume if you have that type of money, she hasn't invested in things that are making her more money. If she's investing in jerseys, she's like me, she's probably broke. That's what she's doing. She's on that break. Yeah. But like, okay, how much money does she have left? I don't know how left.
Starting point is 00:20:56 She's, her value, she's at like $43 billion. Yeah, and she's given away $16 billion. Yeah, she's okay. So what are you talking about? That's how people go broke. Even if she only had $1 billion left, she'd be okay. But I'm saying to give away 50% of anything that you have, regardless of it's $1 or $100 million.
Starting point is 00:21:11 No, that's a big difference. It is, but it's, not. It's significant to give away that much of anything. If I only have 40 grand and I gave away 20, I'm in trouble. There's a difference. But again, if you had a million and someone said, Eddie, you need to give away 500,000. You'd be like, what? Yeah. That's crazy. But that'll change my lifestyle. If I gave away half of my 40 billion, it doesn't change my lifestyle. I'm not I'm just saying it's significant to get 50% of anything you have. Correct. And you probably think twice about it, right? But it still doesn't change your lifestyle. No one is arguing it did.
Starting point is 00:21:40 Yeah. That's why. I don't know what argument you've taken up. I just said it's significant to give by 50% of anything. You guys make it sound like, oh man, yeah. No, we didn't say she was broke. It's okay. She has more money coming in. She doesn't need more money coming in. No, she does, because she keeps giving it away. She's going to be broke.
Starting point is 00:21:53 Well, if she keeps giving it away, she'll be broke, yes. But. If she gives another $1,000,000, then she's down to like $10 billion, and she's probably watching pennies. Still okay. She's probably counting her pennies. Research reveals one out of three Americans think aliens live among us. What if you can't see them, though, when they're here?
Starting point is 00:22:11 Oh, my God. Right. Right. That's your... Here's what I would compare it to because people are like, what do you mean? When you like, you know, TVs back in the day, they had the knob, you'd flip it. Yeah. And so you'd have a show on, let's say channel one or two or whatever the thing is.
Starting point is 00:22:22 Now, they don't all live in that box. And you're only getting the frequency for that channel two. But if you flip it to channel five, it's a different frequency coming in. And now you can see that. You couldn't see it a minute ago because that frequency wasn't the same. Yeah. So that could be what's happening wherever where we can only see certain frequencies. Even with animals, there are things that we can't see that they can or things
Starting point is 00:22:42 that we can't hear that they can. Right. They have different cones in their eyes. Like, I was reading about the electric eel. Like, I never really knew that they really shock you. Like, their defense... Oh, I don't know that either. They do.
Starting point is 00:22:54 Their defense is to put, like, I think it's like, I don't know, 60 watts of electricity to shock their enemy. And that's crazy. They're the only animal that can create that kind of electric shock. Oh, in their body, like create their... Yeah. It's not like they're going to get a quick charge at the Tesla charger. No.
Starting point is 00:23:11 And how is that possible? Like that's very crazy. That's weird. I thought that was a high number. One of three Americans think that. If aliens are here, we probably can't see them. And they're probably microscopic or massive. And we just aren't able to recognize them with our vision.
Starting point is 00:23:26 Yeah, our tool, our eyes, our ears. But my analogy comparison is a TV when you flip the channel. Like those aren't all there. And you can only see it when the frequency has changed. So when the frequency changes, you can see different things. Am I making sense at all? Yes. Yeah, no, I got you. Not, do you understand, like, am I explaining it halfway decent?
Starting point is 00:23:48 Yeah. My question. More Americans are getting divorced later in life. Divorces up among mental age and older Americans, even as younger generations, are less likely to get divorced. According to a Bowling Green State University National Center on Marriage Resource, it's tripled for Americans over 50. After their kids move out, many Americans are like peace. Yeah. New York Post.
Starting point is 00:24:09 I like the kids are what keep them together, and then they're like, now it's just me and you. I wonder if the kids care after like they're out of the house. Probably because still holidays and stuff. Yeah, it's hard. It's so weird. I have friends who are adults and their parents have gotten divorced and it's been very difficult. Yeah. I mean, different for sure because you're not living at home.
Starting point is 00:24:30 Like that situation is not the same. Like somebody's not being displaced and your every day is different. But still, I'm sure it sucks. Also, I'm sure there's some kids that are like, oh, that tracks. Good for you guys. Yeah. Amy, have anything up today? Oh, yeah, I have a fifth thing.
Starting point is 00:24:47 What were you doing the fifth thing? What was that? I saw yesterday. I meant to talk about it. What was it? Oh, no, today's Wednesday. So, yeah, yesterday was Tuesday, the fifth thing. That was a Q&A episode.
Starting point is 00:24:59 And someone, we, Kat, who's a therapist, she co-hosts it with me. And we spent a lot of time on one woman that was asking about fertility questions. Like, she's been trying to have a kid for two years. So, like, what do you do in the waiting time? to like feel happiness because it can be very frustrating. And then another question was from a woman that was waiting on something too because she's been with her boyfriend for nine years. And she's like, am I mariable?
Starting point is 00:25:26 And you're talking to them? They sent in the questions. Oh, but it's like people that can have communication with you. It's not just you finding stories on the internet. Yeah, no, no, no. They sent in questions. They sent in questions. And then Kat as a therapist gives her professional opinion.
Starting point is 00:25:40 And then I just give my like, what I've experienced. with fertility stuff for a while and things that helped me. And then I don't know about dating someone for nine years if they don't want to marry you. Well, you got to just decide how important is marriage to you? Eddie and his wife. Whoa, whoa, whoa. They'd probably still be dating if she didn't make him. Yeah, I mean, I'd never thought about marriage.
Starting point is 00:25:57 He was like, we've been together six years. I didn't even think about it. That'd be cool. Just date the whole time. Dang. Yeah. All right, I'll do a couple of voicemels. Matt and Georgia.
Starting point is 00:26:04 Scooby, this is voicemail number two. Got you. Hey, Bobby. I got a question for you. I recently took up another job. I work from 630 in the morning. So midnight, two jobs, Sunday through Thursday, and I still have Friday and Saturday off completely. My wife is not very keen on that and wants me to quit my job, even though we're trying to pay off debt and, you know, take nice vacation during the summer.
Starting point is 00:26:29 Just trying to get your thoughts on that. Yep. I understand both sides. Quality of life versus paying off stuff so you can have a better quality of life. I don't think either one of you are going to get it all your. your way or it's going to be constantly contentious, meaning if you just work all the time trying to clear those debts, she's always going to be irritated about that because she wants you at home more. And if you just were to stay home all the time, you would be irritated because you can't pay off
Starting point is 00:26:57 more of those debts. What if they come up with a timeline of like, hey, this is just for every, like it could be a seasonal thing that he does. I don't know what the job is, but it could be like, hey, just for at least three months, I want to do this extra night job so we can get ahead and we'll save as much as possible. And then we can take a break from that. That will work, but it's hard to find a good seasonal job that you can just pop in and out of. Yeah, I know.
Starting point is 00:27:19 That's why I said this is. It's like mowing yard. That's a hypothetical that may not work for them, but. I would say what you could do is just find a compromise and both express why. And then make sure now that one of you get more than the other, but find a middle ground where you're both slightly unhappy. Because if you're both slightly unhappy, that means you're both slightly happier too. But as long as you know, the other person's putting the same amount of sacrifice involved, it's a little easier. or you can just go, I quit, but you owe me one, big one.
Starting point is 00:27:47 I don't know what that is. You can do that way. Or you just listen to your wife, and if she's happy, everything gets happy. It's kind of how it is in my house. I never realize that. Could you tell her to like, okay, you want to do a second job? She may, I don't know. I don't know what she's doing.
Starting point is 00:28:01 Just sounds like he's doing the work and she wants the time, right? But it's also him telling the story. I know. So let's do one more. Let's do number four, scuba. Somebody called my grandmother, was posing as me. and told her that I was in a wreck and I needed money, but they messed up because I don't call my grandma grandma, I call her something else.
Starting point is 00:28:24 So when they called her that, she realized it was the scam. So y'all just be on the lookout for people calling grandma's posing as grandchildren looking for money. They do target older folks. Because back in the day, they didn't scam like that. They scam by selling you magic oil. They cure everything. The medicine man or whatever.
Starting point is 00:28:45 Medicine man would come to town, back in the truck. He'd be like, dang. He'd be like, I can predict the weather. And you'd be like, how'd he do that? And you realize he's listening to a radio. A radio gababit. He could hear other towns. Yeah, I appreciate that.
Starting point is 00:28:56 Thank you. Okay, I think that's it. Everybody good? Good. Yeah. Yeah. You're not good? No, I'm good.
Starting point is 00:29:03 Okay. Thank you. And there was one other story. Oh, that's what it was. The Pizza Hut that made the news because they meant to put, they were going to be closed due to unforeseen circumstances, but I said they put due to unforeseen circumcisions and it went viral.
Starting point is 00:29:17 That's funny. An unforeseen circumcision would not be good. All right. You guys have a great day and we will see you guys tomorrow. All right, bye, buddy. A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care what you're saying.
