It's time for the Bobby Bones Post Show. Here's your host, Bobby Bones. Amy, I talked to Andy Rodick yesterday. I actually sent him that video of what we were talking about.
Starting point is 00:03:09 Have you winning your tennis trophies? Have you heard from him? No, I have not. I'll send you just what he told me then. Okay. Why? Well, I don't know. I have no idea what to expect.
Starting point is 00:03:20 I don't think it's an apology. I don't know. Why is the Wi-Fi so bad here? I know, dude. Is it because everybody left the building and they took the routers with them? What the heck? Okay, he said, He said
Starting point is 00:03:33 Here we go He said, hey, that's legit Was a real local tourney in Austin Props to Amy Actress, athlete, media personality wife, mother, respect I apologize for my lack of faith And her abilities
Starting point is 00:03:45 Wow So nice Swear to you And I said Ha ha ha And then he said Can I post this link With an apology to Amy?
Starting point is 00:03:54 I said yes I said well it's not a link It's a full video But you can post a video And he said Okay can I post it Whatever it is without being tech shamed I said, yes, you can.
Starting point is 00:04:02 I will not shame you anymore. And I don't know if he posted. He may post it today. Okay. But he did apologize. Well, that makes me feel bad about a video I made that I have yet to post. Oh, I thought you sent it to him. No.
Starting point is 00:04:14 What is it? She was slamming him, dude. No, I, I, I. She was slamming him. She made fun of some majors that he didn't. That wasn't a glitch. I'm nervous. Oh, don't do that.
Starting point is 00:04:27 What? Don't do what? Don't make fun of majors. He didn't win. That's not good. What's wrong with you? That's not... He went, he!
Starting point is 00:04:34 No, he... That's his career. He was... And he was also number one in the world and won the U.S. Open. Go ahead. I said it in jest. No. Yes, I did.
Starting point is 00:04:43 Did you post it? No. Of course not. That is rude. But it's comedy. Yeah, but you went right... You could slap for that. Wait, you don't know what even was said or done.
Starting point is 00:04:55 Go ahead. Go ahead and tell us. Go ahead, tell us. I can cut that part out. Say it. I just said. I said, I said, I said, I had. the trophy and I was like it's just real quick
Starting point is 00:05:05 and I was like hey Andy this is this is my trophy and I said is your Wimbledon trophy fake and then I said oh wait oh don't do that don't do that he'd probably laugh at that he probably laugh at that he does have a couple he does have Wimbledon second place trophies
Starting point is 00:05:21 yeah yeah yeah but he'd probably laugh at that I think now it's too late to do it because I just told you he apologized I don't care that's cutting and you either have to hate the person or love the person to get it to get way with that one because he finished second at Wimbledon. Yeah, right, that's what I'm saying. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:36 He finished second at Wimbledon many times, I think. Wow, I wasn't expecting that apology. Obviously, you went right at him. Well, that's why I didn't post it, because I knew you had your whole thing, like you were, I don't know, because you all have been communicating. Right next to you. But he would laugh and go, well, here's what he would say, well played. Yeah, that's what he would say. So, okay, there's that.
Starting point is 00:05:59 He said he apologized. Wow. Respect. From a war. World Champion tennis. Now she's all, like, oh, he's like, oh, he's crazy. He's he? Okay, so what do you guys have to say?
Starting point is 00:06:11 I have to say that. I think y'all doubted it too. Breeland is on the Bobbycast. Nice. Yeah. Cool, cool. And so I didn't doubt it once I saw your trophies. But even if her name wasn't on it, see, I, there's a little bit of doubt.
Starting point is 00:06:25 Okay, here's the experiment we're going to do. Okay. No. You have three months to find the coolest trophy, like, that somebody won something without their name on it. and coming to be like, I won the whatever. See, you have to just find it at it like a shop. We have three months.
Starting point is 00:06:38 So today is May 11th, May, June, July, August. Well, I'll tell you what, when we come back in September, September 1st, and I'm not sure when we're taking vacation, but have a trophy that you found somewhere that doesn't have a name on it. That's legit where they won something great, and you tell your story about how you won the tournament. Okay. That's the championship.
Starting point is 00:06:59 Okay. So now y'all think I found this trophy. No, it's a big. No, Amy, what he's doing is you inspired a bit. So what he's saying is thank you for inspiring a spin-off. You know what? I just remembered that I think the owner of Baby Acapoco, the restaurant in Austin, who helped put on the tournament, I feel like his daughter, I maybe played tennis with her.
Starting point is 00:07:21 She was like in the tournament. I remember us being around the same age. I wonder if they're still around and they remember me and they can vouch for me. You think they remember you? They probably don't. That's why I said I wonder. But I'm like thinking, who, who? What witnesses do I have?
Starting point is 00:07:34 My parents are not alive. Amy, we believe you. Like, we're not saying you didn't win. Bobby just came up with an idea. That's right. It's a funny bit. Why are you talking like that? I'm like, goodness.
Starting point is 00:07:44 She is like, oh, I wonder. No one has said anything about you not winning it anymore. We believe he's. Eddie did imply I stole the trophy. Eddie's just doing comedy. Yeah, I'm just joking. Okay. Think about those purple margaritas from baby A's now.
Starting point is 00:07:56 This is a good. Breeland's on the Bobby cast. He just landed his first number one with Dirk's and Hardy with beers on me. He talked about the text that Dirk sent him asking him to do the song with him but he was like wow and then he never even thought it'd be a single it was a random text dude he sent me a text and he was like hey man it's Dirk's Bentley country singer I was like literally exactly what he said I was like you don't you don't have to do that he was like I worked on this song with a couple guys hardies on it right now love to send it
Starting point is 00:08:21 over and see what you think and I was like yes pulled up at the studio it might have been that night or maybe it was the next night I wrote my verse really fast just came to me really quickly and I didn't know he was going to make it a single. I didn't know he was going to make it the name of his tour. I didn't know he was going to bring me out on the road. Pretty cool. I hope you check this interview out. It's Breeland.
Starting point is 00:08:40 Right, play clip three. It's, you know, he was talking about he hadn't played many shows as Breeland. There you go. I hadn't performed ever, you know. And so the third show that I ever played was with Dirk's up in Cannadagua, New York, and thousands of people there. And I was like, literally, this is the third show I've ever played. And, you know, I'm on the road with Dirk's.
Starting point is 00:09:00 Like, it was a really cool. cool opportunity for him to bring me out there and to take that chance because he's never seen me play. I had no idea what I was going to bring to the table. I think what I really love about the artists in country music is that they're all really good people. So you can check it out. He had been producing and writing and singing all these songs, but he hadn't been out performing them and he went out as Breedlin and performed with Dirks. Pretty cool. Check it out on the Bobbycast. Boom, boom. Lunchbox has a question about Eddie barking like a dog. Yeah, Eddie was supposed to be punished because last week he was not paying attention,
Starting point is 00:09:33 and I just wanted to make sure this was not slipping through the cracks. That's a great question. There's audio to your thing? Well, it's audio of Eddie not paying attention and making sure that I have the audio of him screwing up and you saying there is a punishment. So this is him screwing up already. It's not going to screwing up again.
Starting point is 00:09:50 Right. Okay, I just want to hear this again, though. Go ahead. From what I know, because we're still working on it, early fall, late summer. I'm hosting the show, so I'm not the main person of the show, but I'm hosting the show, and we will leave it there. That's all I can say, or I will get fired.
Starting point is 00:10:05 No time frame? I will get fired. Like this year or next year? I just said in the fall, so now you will be fine. Yes. That's a second offense. Yes, your second violation. Boom, boom, boom.
Starting point is 00:10:16 So, yes, Eddie did. Can I say something? Yeah, I need to say something to in your defense. You still have to pay the fine. But in your defense, which is different than Lunchbox and Amy, you are doing another job as well. Sure. But that's not even what I was going to say.
Starting point is 00:10:29 No, no, but I know. And so is Morgan. you guys have jobs Morgan's running social media she's running web stuff you are video changing cameras I'm basically playing piano
Starting point is 00:10:39 while we're doing the show and you're still part of the show major part so you still have to abide by the rules but these two do it they have nothing else they're just supposed to be focused he has crossword puzzles in Facebook
Starting point is 00:10:51 but yeah so what would you like to say Eddie should we be punishing something that could be a mental disorder because I feel You were all about it when it was somebody else. When it was me that led us off, it was all.
Starting point is 00:11:05 Because I truly didn't hear that. Like, listen to that clip back, I'm like, that's crazy. I didn't hear Amy tell me good morning this morning. I walked in, sat down, and she was looking at me weird. And I was like, I'm PMSing, so I straight up called it out. I was like, I was like, what? Why are you looking at me like that? She goes, I said good morning.
Starting point is 00:11:21 And I was like, oh, I didn't hear you at all. Sorry about that. But I just didn't hear. Well, it wasn't that simple. It wasn't like, oh, I just right away. Like, it didn't irritate me until Abby walked in. and Bobby looks up all like, and he goes, morning, Abby, and I was like, what the?
Starting point is 00:11:35 I ignored you. Like, I straight up walked in and it was like, morning Bobby sat down. He didn't even acknowledge like nothing. Well, did you say it before I sat down? You were already sitting down. I waited. I waited.
Starting point is 00:11:44 I was in here. Then I left. I know. She was like a little, like, why didn't you stay? Well, I looked at him like, is this really where we are in our relationship? We're like. He ignores you and then says hi to hide out. Yes.
Starting point is 00:11:54 Yeah. Like I was like, this is. But I didn't hear. It doesn't make sense. Literally heard nothing. And that's what I'm saying. It just happens and it's weird When you told me the whole like
Starting point is 00:12:03 I wasn't being paid to listen to her right then It wasn't my job I just missed her I don't know why my body just What I'm saying Paid or not I don't know why my body just did that Then you probably shouldn't do this job anymore
Starting point is 00:12:13 Huh? I'll figure it out Okay I'll find the right medicine or whatever I need Yeah yeah you probably get on that I call the doctor Get a little prescription Yeah come on
Starting point is 00:12:21 Yeah a little prescription Um Okay so yes Eddie has to go and bark like a dog In a public place Until they tell him to stop Okay Scoob and I were just kind of talking
Starting point is 00:12:29 about this briefly. I think what he should do is have to go do it not on the air and just record it. You can get with them or whatever. And then you just have to do it until someone comes to you says, sir, would you please stop? Oh, no, no, no. No, no, that's the punishment. How do I keep doing it? What do you mean? Until someone comes up and I go to school. That's how you keep doing it. And then somebody has to say stop. Sir, yeah, sir, something wrong. Dude, I'm a dad, like a three, of four kids. That's the penalty. You know, you agree to the rule. Take them and they're like your little puppies. You agree to the rule. That makes me real crazy.
Starting point is 00:13:00 They'll take me away. Today's Wednesday, May 11th you have until next Wednesday, May 11th. Oh, my gosh. But you agreed to the rules. Did I? Yes. Where would you like to go? Should we go to the library?
Starting point is 00:13:10 No, no, no, no. We did that one time. We only have a few minutes today. Sorry, with these events short. It's just, we're, we've been so freaking busy after the show with the client things. I do want to bring up that Morgan saw the grocery man again, the one that she thought was in love with her, and every time flirting with her. And then it happened multiple times.
Starting point is 00:13:29 he was giving her free stuff. Then she went back last time after we talked about it in the air and he ignored her. And so you went back again? Yes. And I tried not to avoid him this time. I just let it happen. And I was standing in the line and his, you check out thing was open. And he was like, hey, come over here.
Starting point is 00:13:44 And so I just. He said, hey, to you. He said, hey, come over here. Yeah, like to check out at his thing. And so I, you know, checked out all my items and stuff. And he's talking to me, striking up conversation. You know, how is my day? How's things going?
Starting point is 00:13:57 And then we both laughed at something. He's like, see, we have the same humor. And I was like, oh, that was an interesting side note there. I'm not really sure how to take that. Like he's proving it. He's like, see, I told you. So what'd you laugh about, though? Some other lady, like, was really excited that she found a card in her bag that she'd been looking for.
Starting point is 00:14:15 And I was like, that was awkward because everybody in the store heard it. We both just, like, kind of giggled about it. But he was like, yeah, we have the same sense of humor. Trying to, like, almost prove to me. But it was, like, so side. There was no other discussion about it. so it felt weird. But he didn't give me any free items this time.
Starting point is 00:14:31 Sounds like he's kind of back on the train. Yeah. On the train, though. But we did have a theory that he was a listener maybe. Remember? And he backed off because he heard us talking about him. And then he's having a conversation with the bit. He's like, see, we have the sense of humor.
Starting point is 00:14:43 I don't know. What do you think? What's your feeling? I mean, he's still acting the same. Even though he ignored me that last time, maybe he just didn't see me in that scenario. So this time, he's like, oh, he was excited to see me again. But I did not get a free item.
Starting point is 00:14:55 So now I'm confused. What does your boyfriend think about this? He doesn't care. He's like, if you keep getting free items, cool, can you get me some too? That's how I would feel. Really? Yeah, that's how I'd feel with Caitlin.
Starting point is 00:15:04 Like we were, the Starbucks line was really long at the airport. And we were walking by and I was like, dang, I wish she would go get in line. And she was like, let me take off my ring. I was like, yeah, I go. And she didn't. It was just a joke. But you said. But I was like, yeah, of course.
Starting point is 00:15:18 Go for it. Okay, well, good luck with that, Morgan. You do have fall. That's called a fallback. Yeah, I mean, it's not a fallback for me, but it's definitely. That might be who you end up with. And we'll go listen to these segments and be like, remember Morgan? Yeah, that'd be cool.
Starting point is 00:15:31 It was just a guy at the grocery store. I saw you post a picture a little clearer of your boyfriend for the first time. I did. It's not up on the, she's smart. She doesn't put it up on the feed. Oh, it's on story. It's on story. And it was like a wedding picture of you two together.
Starting point is 00:15:46 Yeah, it was like a Polaroid of us from the wedding, yeah. Was that a conversation? Like, hey, I'm going to. No, I just kind of asked him. I was like, you okay with it? He's like, yeah, that's fine. I still don't tag him. I'm still not identifying him.
Starting point is 00:15:56 So if people figure it out that's on them to do all that investigating if they really want to. But yeah, I'm just slowly kind of inching my way to showing more. And if you don't want to, don't. I know. Some days I want to really bad. And then other days I'm like, no, I don't want to touch this. I just want to leave it. I don't want to touch this.
Starting point is 00:16:13 That's not what he wants to hear. You can't know what I mean. Deal with this. Yeah, like I don't know if I want to deal with all the trolls on the internet and how everybody thinks about things. I just don't. And you're still together? Yes, we're still together. Everything's good?
Starting point is 00:16:25 All right, that's all I'll ask you about that. Yeah, we may end up living together at some point at the end of this year. Well, like I said, I was backing off of saying, I was diving again. Let's save this. I think this is something to get into in the real show. Yeah. But let's
Starting point is 00:16:41 put a pin in this mic because I do want to talk about it. Because we're running out of time here, and I want to make sure that we spend adequate time talking about this new development in Morgan's life. That's cool, though. Good for you. Let's see. What else do I have? You've only got a couple minutes left. Of everything I have here I would like to bring up. No, the question I guess I was wondering, Amy, is Stevenson still
Starting point is 00:17:00 doing jujitsu? Because we went to the tournament and he finished second, but there were only two people in his weight class. Well, we don't have to bring that part up. Well, that's what you said. I wasn't bringing it up at all. You're the way. I don't bring it up anymore. So she's his sister. She's the only one that brings that part up. But we just sack like, yeah, second place. Which was how I was doing it until you were like, well, there only two people. So, okay, great. He finished second. It's great. Is he still hanging in there? Yes. We still go six days a week. And, and, and, and, he's just days a week and then now two days out of the week he's been invited to be a part of this leadership thing where he gets there an hour early to help four and five year olds take class so he's 11
Starting point is 00:17:37 almost 12 and a few kids have been picked to get there to the class before and you're kind of like you're you work with the instructors that's so cool that he feels like he has a place like a place to belong to. That's so hard to find to get when you're nine to 40. It's just hard to find a place where you feel like, this is it. This is my place. I feel comfortable here. I can, I can try to be a better person here. I mean, that is just, that's so cool. If he wants to go six days a week. Well, yeah, and then now he's going to be putting in an extra hour two of those days to, you know, be this mini instructor. I think my place is to golf course. And, you know, I've told Caitlin, I found my place.
Starting point is 00:18:25 Six days a week. She doesn't want me going six days a week. I think I found my place where they accept me. It's when I go and play golf. Or play in the PlayStation. Like, those are the two things that I found my place. It's in this online chat room. So, okay, I think, because I got this call in five minutes I have to get on. I think that is all I'm going to do. All right. We'll do a quick one roll. Oh, I don't have a dice. Oh, find it. Mike D. It's on the ground. If it's in my hand, walk slow. In the next 10 seconds.
Starting point is 00:18:54 Mike D. Come on Mike. Mike, what are you doing? Go. I'll roll one time. All right, everybody pick a number. I think all that's 40 bucks. But let's go.
Starting point is 00:19:02 That'll work. What did you say? Lunchbox? So it's kind of weak, but I'll take it. No, he's out. He's out. You can't complain about free stuff. Lunchbox is out.
Starting point is 00:19:09 Amy, here we go. What's what I do to my kids? 42. 15. Mike D. What is it? 91. 6.
Starting point is 00:19:17 There's a little dot. Eddie. 21, baby. You skip me. Oh, it's my luck either. What number did you guess, Mike? 91. Oh, yeah, 19.
Starting point is 00:19:27 All right, sorry, Eddie. Morgan. 56. 59. So close. Ray? 34. 53.
Starting point is 00:19:35 Scuba? I'll do 23. 23. 46. Abby? 41. What is it? 41?
Starting point is 00:19:47 41. No, 93. No, 93. Now, lunch, this will be an exhibition. since you complained about the money you can pick a number, go ahead. Zero. Zero.
Starting point is 00:19:57 It's zero. What would you have picked, though, probably? Zero. No, I'm not doing it. Because if it's my number, I'll be really mad. What would you pick to? 99. It wasn't your number, but it is 98.
Starting point is 00:20:13 No, it is. You didn't win. He says, I hate this one. No, it would have been even worse had he picked. No, I'm just saying. I'm just saying. All right, thank you. We are out.
Starting point is 00:20:19 We'll see you tomorrow. Goodbye, everybody. All right. If you have ever dealt with a traditional security company, you know the drill.
