Starting point is 00:03:15 You know, Star Trek guys are going. William Shatner. I think 90. My theory is he's going to go up and just be released into space. No. It's a great theory. He'll forever be known as that. Or he just spent so many years fascinated with space
Starting point is 00:03:29 because he worked on Star Trek and he just wants to go up there for 10 minutes, which is what he's doing. Now we both know that is pretty rational. I don't know, yours sounds pretty good. He's not the only one going to space. A bunch of people bought tickets for Virgin Galactic. They paid at least $200,000. Here are the celebrities who have bought tickets so far.
Starting point is 00:03:48 Justin Bieber. Really? Kate Winslet. Rihanna. Brad Pitt. Lady Gaga. Wow. Leo DiCaprio.
Starting point is 00:03:58 Angelina Jolie. Russell Brand. I feel like he has a lot more money. than we think, right? You feel like he has more money than we think? Yeah. Like, you wouldn't think he'd have a lot of money? How do you know what I think?
Starting point is 00:04:12 Well, you said he has not much money? That's me, though. But would you think he had much money? No, because he was, I mean, he was famous for a little bit, not for a long, long time. Oh, I don't know. He also wrote a book. He did? Hey, listen, I tell you, I've written a couple books.
Starting point is 00:04:24 And ain't setting you for life. No. Oh, I don't know. I guess I just had this perception that he made more money than we think. I'm sure he did. I'm sure I think you're right. But I'm surprised. Mike was Russell Brandsworth?
Starting point is 00:04:34 20 million. A lot of money. How much are tickets to space? How much are tickets to space? 200,000. It's 1% of his worth. Affordable. Maybe that's his advance for his book.
Starting point is 00:04:49 Maybe. Katie Perry. But they're not going together. Oh, no, no. Tom Hanks. He's been already, though. When? Houston, we have a problem.
Starting point is 00:05:00 Since all these celebrities are going, does it make you feel more comfortable to go? Nope. Yeah, me either. I'm worried about them. Good luck. Mike D. said, hey, ask the show if you could make one of them not come back, who would it be? What? Wait, what?
Starting point is 00:05:13 Of all the celebrities I mentioned, he goes, ask the show which one you'd like to keep up in space. Oh. Oh, they would, like, live there? No, no, like, they don't. Like, something happens, they don't come back. Oh, we're not doing that bit. Was Tom Cruise on that list? We're not doing that bit.
Starting point is 00:05:25 Yeah, why do you? And poor Russell, you don't even know him. I know, but I mean, that's what I'm saying. like he could be gone and I wouldn't be like hey where's Russell? I'm already thinking that now. But I wouldn't any, none of them would have been like that. I just feel like I'm not going to play. If forever, who else was?
Starting point is 00:05:38 Brad Pitt, he was on the list. I like him. Me too, but I'm just saying if I never heard another thing about Brad Pitt the rest of my life, I don't think I'd be walking around going, huh, where's old Brad Pitt these days? Maybe. Tom Hanks, you would. Angelina Joey.
Starting point is 00:05:53 There's just so much of their art that exists. I could just stay satisfied that way. Yeah. It's like an old musician. You don't have to keep making music. unless you're just doing it for your own heart and soul. Like once you're old and you're kind of past your prime making hits, we'll listen to the hits, we're fine.
Starting point is 00:06:06 Tom Petty died and I was like, to me, Tom Petty's never dead. Because once he started making music that I didn't listen to anymore, I would always still listen to the old stuff. And so he's still alive to me. Tom Petty hasn't died to me. He's still alive. Because I'm not missing out on anything because I still love Tom Petty and his music. And I didn't need to make more because when he did, I never listened to it.
Starting point is 00:06:27 Does that make sense? Yes. So Tom Petty's still alive to me. Although he's really dead, but yeah. Not to me. Right. If you told me Tom Petty was alive and I never heard it, I would believe it. There's no reason for me to feel otherwise.
Starting point is 00:06:39 He's not a central figure of my life that I know. Anyway, so we're not going to. So who would you send up there? To not come down? Yes. I'm not doing that bit. It'd be somebody in country music for sure. Oh, boy.
Starting point is 00:06:52 That's why I'm not doing that bit. Which one? Here's the thing, Eddie. I know you were like, you said you're ready for Hollywood. after our big shoot yesterday. I don't think we're supposed to talk about that, or post pictures of it. Stop it.
Starting point is 00:07:05 The boss gave me the picture. He doesn't know. I mean, he just forgets. Should I pull it down? No, not now. It's been up a whole day. But I didn't say what we were doing. And you even tagged raging idiots, so you did.
Starting point is 00:07:16 I did? Yeah. But it was you and me. And I'm wearing my hat, so obviously. We did a shoot yesterday. And I saw Eddie post it, and I was like, oh, I don't think I was supposed to announce that yet.
Starting point is 00:07:27 No one said anything. Maybe they don't follow you. Maybe there's not a big announcement. Scuba, Steve, what do you know? I would just say we'm going to the next subject. Yeah, right? We can't talk about it. There's a client involved.
Starting point is 00:07:38 We should just, what's the next thing you got in your sheet? Oh, we're moving on. Oh, well, just like that. Well, when I saw Eddie posted, I was like. Yeah, I know. Well, why didn't you text me? Scuba? Other things going on.
Starting point is 00:07:50 That's not my only thing in life. Oh. He's worrying about your Instagram. He gets real tough when we're on this post show. You'd say it in real life. In real life, he would never talk to me like that. Could you beat scuba? No, no, he's tough.
Starting point is 00:08:00 I wouldn't want to fight any anyway. He's tough. The Jake Gyllenhaal film is the number one film on Netflix. What is that? Everybody's talking about Squid Game, which is a show, nine episodes. But there's a Jake Gyllenhaal movie on there, and Mike saw this. It's called what? The Guilty.
Starting point is 00:08:19 And what is it? He plays a detective who gets demoted to a phone operator in the 911 call center, and he's trying to help somebody who's been abducted. But the whole movie... Oh, that sounds good. You like that? It's really good. It's only 90 minutes,
Starting point is 00:08:32 and the whole movie is basically just Jake Gyllenhaal's face. Is it a Netflix movie? Yeah. Rare that a Netflix movie is so good. Yeah. Because some of them are pretty good. This one good.
Starting point is 00:08:42 Really? Yeah. The whole movie is one location, basically just him on the phone the entire time, and all the other actors are just voice actors. What? Okay.
Starting point is 00:08:50 So you just watch him on the phone the whole time? Yeah. It's that good. Yeah, it's good. Really? What do you give it? I give it four out of five 911 calls. Anyone else seen this?
Starting point is 00:08:59 What's it called again? The Guilty. What did you give Squid Game? Ooh. I mean, it's almost a perfect show. It's almost a perfect show. I mean, do you give it five? I did.
Starting point is 00:09:09 Like, I give it five. There's nothing I didn't like about it. The Korean was hard at first. Yeah. Like watching the dub. I didn't watch it in dub. What do you mean? I just watched it in Korean with the subtitles.
Starting point is 00:09:24 Oh, wow. You did? Yeah. Well, here's the weird thing. I did both. I watched it in English dub and I had the subtitles because sometimes they were slightly different. But the voice actor that does it in English is goofy.
Starting point is 00:09:34 I think that was meant to be that way. Really? Yeah. They are. I mean, I watched Narcos with voiceovers and that's just they are. They just are like a they have, like I know what you're saying. He's like, I think I might just die today. Response, yes.
Starting point is 00:09:49 It's very dramatic. I can do a better job just being a voice actor for a different language. Yeah, but I give it five out of five squads. Yeah, I give it five out of five. I wish other people would watch it. I'm going to start watching it. My TikTok account is all squid games. Same.
Starting point is 00:10:04 It's all, I mean, let me just pull mine up. Like, have you posting things on it? No, no, no, no. The funniest squid game stuff is on TikTok now. Yeah, let me just pull up and see how many until I get a squid game TikTok. Skip ad. Okay, here we go. I play squid game in VR.
Starting point is 00:10:20 That was the second one. Well, the first one. The other one was one. That was an ad. Urban Meyer. Oh, of course. We're serving Myers all over it. So here you go.
Starting point is 00:10:27 Here's another one. That's two. And what are they doing in those videos? Me and Squid Game. That's number three. And there's a Morgan Wallow. Are they doing anything funny? Yeah, they're all hilarious.
Starting point is 00:10:43 What are the joke? I can't tell you that much. Oh, really? Yeah, he doesn't want to spoil anything and then get... I was trying to get him to do anything. Reprimanded. He's too smart. Not true.
Starting point is 00:10:52 But... Not true. Not true. You think that you're going to end up spoiling something? No, he said he's... that he's smart. It's not true. Yeah, I'm not too smart. Right. Not true. Caroline Hobby's podcast, Get Real with Caroline Hobby.
Starting point is 00:11:04 She has a fashion expert on Kirby Ryan. They talk about how you can transform your wardrobe with clothes you already have in your closet, and that's no matter what size and how old you are. You have the right, and you owe your wardrobe and yourself to feel good about yourself. It's very inspiring, I'm told. But check it out. Get Real with Caroline Hobby. It is a podcast that you can check out. It is a great podcast.
Starting point is 00:11:24 She comes on this sometimes with us. Let's see here. What was that other Jake Gyllenhaal movie that was really good? Nightcrawler? Yeah, he's great. Yeah, that was really good. Ray, you saw an accident? Yeah, four car accident, 10 feet away from it. 10 feet super close.
Starting point is 00:11:41 So that's me to Eddie. Yeah, shorter than that. Yeah? I was at a brunch spot with my wife, and this brunch spot is actually on the road, and it was 10 a.m. on a Saturday. We're just chilling there, drinking some mimosas. And this car, this explorer is flying 40 miles an hour. Boom, boom, boom!
Starting point is 00:11:58 Three car. were in line at the light, hit all three of them. Hate it. And it was popping glass. At first, I thought it was gunshots. It was kind of hard to know what happened. Then you're like, oh my gosh, that car was on his cell phone. Well, then we find out the dude had white claws in his car.
Starting point is 00:12:14 He had other drug paraphernalia. Apparently, he like passed out from doing drugs and then just drilled all these cars. Luckily, nobody injured. Everybody fine. TV shows romanticized car wreck sometimes. We're like, oh, it would be really cool to see one of those. But when you actually hear one, I hate it. It is an ugly sound.
Starting point is 00:12:29 aside from the people getting hurt or but dying like I'm removing the really heinous parts of a car accident just the hitting of metal on metal because on TV it's like psh you know like oh wow it ain't like that in real life it's like ugh pow once we were living in Austin we were downtown I saw a car run a red light it was like one in the morning we were out on 6th Street like West 6th Street and I saw a car T-bone another car it flew through the red light the other car was doing like 50 boom right in the middle of it. The car went spinning and I was like, I cannot believe what I saw it. Luckily, there were hundreds of people around that saw it all, but it was, I mean, I can still hear it. Yeah. It all starts with the squeal of the tires.
Starting point is 00:13:13 There's no squill on this one. Nothing, it just didn't even hit the brakes. The car was running, ran a red light. Other person didn't see it because it was like instantaneous. So you ever do the thing where you're sitting at a light and there's a lane to the left of you? And that lane to the left of you is actually a turning lane
Starting point is 00:13:28 so they get to go first. And so you're just sitting there and you go, oh, I should go to and you hit the gas. And you realize, you're, oh, God. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Sometimes you have to. What do you mean? Sometimes you just have to do it.
Starting point is 00:13:38 If you're stuck in that lane? No, I don't think you understand what I'm saying. No, it means peripherally you see people going so you think you have a green light and go. Got it, got it, got it. And then you realize, then you look back up in a second. And no one went. You're almost nailing that car in front of you. And then you have to like, go, oopsie, and put your car in reverse.
Starting point is 00:13:53 I do like to mess with my wife and tell her, go when it's red. No, why would you do that? Well, she only moves for a little bit And then she's like, oh, why did you do that? Come on. But all it takes is one bad one. I'd be like, no, stop, stop, stop, stop, I'm just joking, stop. But all it takes is one mess up more than that, and there's a wrecking.
Starting point is 00:14:08 You're right, it's not a great game. It's a great version of squid games. Amy, you haven't seen it yet. With his wife. Amy, you can't joke. You haven't seen any. You told me red light green light. Yeah, that's in the trailer.
Starting point is 00:14:18 I know. Yeah, we're red light, green light, green light, boom. Yeah, that's crazy. We need to talk about the Harry Potter movie Because today was the day Eddie's supposed to have it done Oh yeah, but lunchbox isn't here So there's an extension No one said that
Starting point is 00:14:32 I figured No Why would you Just because if you have a homework assignment in school And your classmates absent So you don't have to do it Yeah like say only one person showed up to school And no one else did
Starting point is 00:14:43 I'm not going to be the only one to take the test We'll wait until everyone gets here I don't know about this But I think he's gonna come back and go I don't know the baby I didn't have time Right We can always send him an email
Starting point is 00:14:53 then remind them. You're completely independent. So, Monday. We'll give you until Monday. Great. I'll take it. I'm halfway done. I started watching it. Dude, this is a two and a half hour movie. The first was two and a half hour. What's happening? They don't need to be that long. And I'm starting to write notes too because of the last test. I just didn't remember stuff. And I'm having a hard time again remembering stuff here. Like, the names are just ridiculous. Gobbit or something. I don't know what the dude's name is.
Starting point is 00:15:20 Gobbet. Which one would that be, Morgan? Is his name Gobbit, the little guy? Dobby? See, Dobby. I would have gotten that wrong. Eddie says something that's not right in the world today. It's not. People are going crazy.
Starting point is 00:15:32 Go ahead. You guys are talking about car wrecks. Well, I saw a guy the other day. There was just traffic going on, you know, like about 10 cars or whatever in line. And obviously this guy was late. So he just decides to just skip everyone and goes through like that turning lane like you're talking about bones. And he goes around the turn lane and he goes through the red light, slows down, looks both. both ways and books it. And then it was one of those streets where there's red lights visible.
Starting point is 00:15:57 You can see about four red lights. He did it all the way. He would just run red lights. And when I, I remember when I was a kid, I went to Mexico, Mexico City, they don't stop at red lights. They literally, it's a, every red light is a yield. Like, you like slow down, no one there, boom. And that's the way the whole city operates. Not in America. Like if someone runs a red light, you're like, whoa, that's crazy. This guy was running all of them. And I'm like, dude, just because you're late and he had a kid in the car. I'm like, this wouldn't have happened normally. Like, I
Starting point is 00:16:28 just see people acting weird lately. Airplane fights. Weird. So you think it's a cultural thing now more than it is some crazy guy? Because I don't see the red light stuff having me. People are just getting, like I was playing video games yesterday. I got home, played some video games, and I got on, and I didn't have my headset on, but I can hear
Starting point is 00:16:44 people talking. This guy misses a, it's a basketball game. He misses a shot and the other guy starts yelling at him. Why don't you start playing better? Bones, they yelled at each for five minutes calling each other names. I'm like, what, what's wrong with? I wanted to get on my headset and be like, what's wrong with you two? Just relax. It's a video game. And then finally they were like, all right, let's just relax. Okay, we got to play this game together. Same team. Same team. All I hear is Eddie had time for video games, but not Harry Potter.
Starting point is 00:17:11 Well, no, I had time for Harry Potter. I just didn't watch it because I figured we weren't doing the test this week. No, you said, it's two and a half hours. He had time for video games and not Harry Potter, but posting Instagram pictures, he shouldn't have been posting. I mean, I know. I shouldn't have. Why didn't you tell me? I didn't know. I just saw in the middle of the day or evening. And he's like, oh, I'm ready for Hollywood. And I'm like, oh, I didn't know. Hey, we can't talk about it anymore. Let's just move on. Next page. We will on the show, maybe tomorrow, maybe the next day.
Starting point is 00:17:37 Abby, got a little something going on with the dude online. Oh. Is it lunchbox? Hold on. I don't want to say too much. But Abby, would I be out of place to say that you got a little something going on with the guy online? Possibly. Yeah? Yeah. Do you get like, giddy butterflies?
Starting point is 00:17:54 I don't know about giddy butterflies. We'll see. I don't know where this is going. I've never had this before. So I don't know. Wait, you've never had what? What's happening? Because you've gone on dates before?
Starting point is 00:18:04 No, I don't think so. Not yet. Yeah, no, no, no. Not yet. We're in the talking. We're in the show. We'll talk about it on the show. Maybe tomorrow.
Starting point is 00:18:11 This guy's done something different? Yeah. It's different than just someone sent you a DM, right? Oh, yeah, for sure. Oh, no. Oh, no. I'm just worried it's somebody on this show. That's what I'm worried about, too.
Starting point is 00:18:25 It just seems like it's too weird. Mike, let's put this in the talk about tomorrow morning. Like, some people that work with us, I would not put it past them to go get a phone number. Oh my gosh. Or get like a, yeah, a fake phone number. You think they would? Really?
Starting point is 00:18:41 I don't know. I think you're great and I want you to meet somebody. But I just, I don't trust some people. Me neither. Okay. We'll talk about it tomorrow. the radio show. Okay.
Starting point is 00:18:53 Interesting. I need to know what's being done. The only thing that's saving this is that lunchbox is totally preoccupied with a new baby. Is he though? He's a brand new dad. Like third baby. Now he has three kids. He does not have time for this.
Starting point is 00:19:08 No, his whole family's in town. Okay, well, maybe he does. That's what he wants us to think. The last post was a nap that his wife took. Okay, listen, I don't know. He talks about he works all the time, but he takes a four-hour nap every day. That's not all the time. If you're still going to bed at a reasonable hour and you get a four hour nap, that's not working all the time.
Starting point is 00:19:26 Also, I don't even know what he does after this show. Who knows? Who knows? I don't know what other, you know? And so, Abby, we'll let you tell that story tomorrow. Okay. Sounds good. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:36 Amy, what's going on with you today? I'm going to look, well, I have a podcast interview with Maddie Nelson. She's awesome. I'm super excited about that. I don't know who that is. Oh, she lives in Dallas. She's become an influencer online, but I met her in Haiti years ago before she even had an Instagram account. really, but now she has, I don't know, 700,000 followers, and she's a mom. And her husband's a
Starting point is 00:19:57 former NFL player, David Nelson. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. When you say David Nelson, I know who that is, played for Buffalo Bills for a while. Yeah, I know, and he played with Tim Tebow somewhere. I met him in Haiti. He's the original connection years ago. And then, so she's going to, I'm interviewing her today. And then I'm shopping for a rug for my living room, a rug that brings me joy haven't found it yet. Would you say that Stanley, my bulldog, is an influencer, he has 91,000 followers. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:27 Maybe. More of me. It's more than Mike Dee. So yeah, Mike D yelled he has more than me. Oh, no. We don't do anything. We gave away some Purina stuff one point. We didn't make any money off of it.
Starting point is 00:20:38 We just were like, they sent us some stuff. We'll give it away the listeners on his account. But Mr.D Stanley Bones has 91.6,000 followers. Yeah, I don't know. I mean, what makes it, what makes an influence? influencer. You ain't influence me for crap. I got to pay for crap all time with him, but I don't know.
Starting point is 00:20:54 Can he influence? I think if you have, I mean, I see influencers like 15,000 followers. Sure. And they're like, I'm an influencer. And I guess that's enough to influence. But I would say he could be a dog pet influencer, like dog treats, products. Yeah. That's good.
Starting point is 00:21:11 But I need somebody to sell that. How many followers do you have? 166,000. My goal is for Stanley. to B Morgan. I've said it out loud. What, Mike D? You don't, you're not, Stanley's beating Mike D. Let's see how many of Mike D is.
Starting point is 00:21:29 61. Mike D has, let me look. Oh no. 62,000 followers. Mike D does some pretty good stuff. Let's look at the last post. One year ago, I made the best decision of my life, and it's the picture of him proposing to his now wife.
Starting point is 00:21:45 The second one is him saying, I got a package. He does movies, so he's open up. I'm into it. And then... I'm here. We need more people to follow Mike D. What's your name on their mic? Mr. Stanley Bones?
Starting point is 00:22:07 Mike D. Stro. Mike Destro. Are you the low man? Out of everybody in this room? On the show? Yeah. On the show? I would say so. Nah, maybe Scuba.
Starting point is 00:22:19 You're not on the air that much, though. I mean, so it's like people hear you all the time. Let's see Scuba's followers. 19.8. Oh, ouch. Oh, Scuba. Oh, man. He's the low.
Starting point is 00:22:30 Edit that out. It's funny. embarrassing. We're live. Edit that out. Scoobes Steve 19.8,000. Scoobes Steve, radio. What if you get out of radio?
Starting point is 00:22:39 What do you mean when I get out of radio? What I mean is, what if you get out of radio? Oh, yeah, I see what you're saying. Yeah, I thought about that when I was doing television in L.A. But I don't really care. That's where I started from. That's those are my roots. I think you can change it, though, because Morgan number one,
Starting point is 00:22:55 who works on my management team now, She was radio girl Morgan for a long time. Yeah. And then she was like, well, that's, I can't do that anymore. Then she went to Rad Girl Morgan. She took I.O. out on her name. Creative. And now she's just her name, Morgan Massingale.
Starting point is 00:23:10 Oh. And she has 82,000 followers. Wow, 82. But from being on the show. Yeah. Like people that leave the show and they go somewhere, they're like, I got a big following from, you know, whatever. Mostly it's because they got them on the show and left and still have them.
Starting point is 00:23:24 But even Morgan's like, I don't know what to do with these followers. 82,000 people follow me. I don't do anything. Yeah, hmm. Yeah, because I'm Radio Amy, but what would I change to if I wasn't? I don't, like, Amy Brown is taken. Jobless, Amy. No.
Starting point is 00:23:40 Well, I don't plan on getting out, so Radio Amy should work. Okay. Oh, no. Oh, no, no, no, no, no. That's from like an old 50s or 60 song. Is it? Yeah. I just see her on TikTok.
Starting point is 00:23:56 I know. Oh, no. Yeah. Okay. I think that's going to do it. I do want to get to the abby. You think tomorrow on the show. We don't know how long lunchboxes will be out a couple or a few weeks.
Starting point is 00:24:09 Mine's. Could be. Guys, we just can't. We got three. I'll be back New Year's. I'm doing a lot of work over here. I can get near as many naps. Okay, we'll see you guys tomorrow.
Starting point is 00:24:21 You guys have a great day. Don't forget to listen to the regular show. If you're listening to this, this is not the regular show. We just keep going for a little bit. But Dr. Oz was really great. I guess some people have like an anti-owner for Dr. Oz and they don't like him. Really? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:34 I mean, I don't know, except for us dealing with him on the show and being the guy from TV, I don't know much about him, except that he's like a real-life surgeon. But I think he's great on the show. He's amazing. Yeah, he's awesome. Right? Like anything you throw at him. Why don't people like him, Morgan?
Starting point is 00:24:46 People were putting in articles, like he's associated with products that don't actually work. He's said and claimed things that don't actually work, I guess. Let's not look at our history of endorsements. You know what I mean? That's what they wrote on the comments. I didn't like investigate. I'm kidding about us. Well, back when we first started, you take anything? It's pretty, it isn't. Time's tough. Amy and I were talking the other day about a project, we're not gonna say it now, that we used to endorse early on. Like 2006.
Starting point is 00:25:15 Yeah, so when I say that, I mean way, way back in the day, we just couldn't believe anybody would spend any money with our show at all. And there was one, there are two I can think of what we shouldn't have done from a long time ago. And I'm gonna tell you the first one, that this one. Right, but I also did that. I don't know that I should have. So did I. No, we did it. Yeah, like we were speaking our truth.
Starting point is 00:25:35 We never just go out and be like, do it, and it's a lie. Right. We were tricked too. Yeah, and then later it's like, oh. Yeah, and then later we were like, well, we should have done that. And then the other one was, um, people would see you. Oh, I don't care if they see me. They can get help by that.
Starting point is 00:25:51 I still have, um, Joker? Issues with personally because of that one. Really? Mm-hmm. Yeah. Like that's that Ugh
Starting point is 00:26:00 So that being said We won't do them now Unless we either use it personally Or we have somebody that we know That uses it personally Or it's like a Jeep dealership in Tampa You know Or Eddie in North Carolina
Starting point is 00:26:15 Doing Ford's Yeah Yeah like I Or if you hear me talking about 54 I've used them like Three times in the last nine months Like I keep finding rooms Where I'm like oh like they're amazing
Starting point is 00:26:27 If we're talking about something, we are using them. And yeah, it is crazy to think back that far of like, yeah, I mean, you learn things, people evolve. But I mean, how can you go wrong with 54? Even back in the day, we were like, we're not going to endorse it unless we do it. Yeah. We were doing some, we were just like, yep, got to do it. I'm going to have a breast pump on every day because I was endorsing breast pumps. Oh my gosh.
Starting point is 00:26:49 Remember the time I did bring in a breast pump and tried to milk? Carlos? Yeah. We tried to see. Did it come out? Because that happened. No, we tried to pump him long enough. We tried. Nothing came out?
Starting point is 00:26:58 Let me just say his biz boo was exhausted. The goal was, can we pump him long enough to get milk? Right. And nothing ever came out. Really? Yeah, it was such a disappointment. We were like, milk, milk, milk, milk. Rividing content.
Starting point is 00:27:11 Yeah, sounds awesome. We used to do the dumbest bit, not that we are, you know, any better, can get great bits now, but we had a tiny studio and all this equipment set up. And you have to also understand, we had a terrible radio studio. I had a mic, there was at one second mic. When Lunchbox first came on the show, he didn't even have a microphone. Like they paid us nothing. We had
Starting point is 00:27:29 no resources. Our equipment was terrible. But I would go, okay, well, something break here, and I would take a wiffle ball bat, and I would take a plastic ball, and I would just hit as hard as I could into the board, into the computer. And I would be like, all right, well, I guess it didn't. Did anything ever break? Oh, I think I broke some buttons off the board a couple times. But it still worked. Well, there were a couple times, too, where food would get
Starting point is 00:27:51 spilled into the board. Oh, I spilled a whole Starbucks double shot those little cans you buy the gas station. I used to buy one on my way to work every day and it was so early in the morning the guy always thought I was coming from the club and I was like, I'm on my way to work. Thank you. And I would get double shot coffee and I spilled it all over your board. I was like oh. And like once the whole station went down, it was like started to smoke. And then we want to complete one time, and we'll end on this story, one time our tower went out. And so it's not like if you're listening to us now, which you can, you don't hear us on the radio. You're watching on Facebook. You could be listening on a podcast later, but you're not hearing
Starting point is 00:28:29 this over a traditional radio signal antenna. Tower, okay? Our tower went out, and we're in Austin, we're doing the show, you're out. And like, nobody can really hear you. And so we're like, ha, ha, ha, ha. So we turn the mics on, and we start doing a show thinking nobody can hear us. Like, nobody can hear you. Tower went down. And we're like, this is my home address. You know, this is all this stuff that you'd never say publicly because someone could, like, steal your information. Turns out only the Austin Tower went down.
Starting point is 00:29:00 And we were on like 10 other stations, but they were hearing the whole thing. Oh, yeah. Remember Wichita being like, we hear everything you're saying. Your phone number. The whole thing. How do you do that? Because we're stupid. We were just being funny.
Starting point is 00:29:10 We're like, oh, I guess we're out. Here's my cell phone number. It was really stupid. And then they were like, hey, guys, you have stations calling. People are calling in. We didn't have a phone screener. We had another line that went out to the hallway that people would call, and then they would write on a post-it note who it was
Starting point is 00:29:25 and run it into the studio and lay it on my desk. I mean, that was when Ray was interning. The Wichdaw thing maybe was a year, and other cities was a year before me. But yeah, I had heard it on the radio not being an intern. But I'm talking about even the Post-it notes. Oh, yeah. Like they would call that number,
Starting point is 00:29:43 and they would take the post-it note, and they'd write it down, and they'd have to come and open the door, lay it down, and run back out and write down the note. I had zero radio experience whatsoever, and for some reason I was in charge of editing clips. For 24-hour sounds of the day, remember? Sounds of the last 24 hours. Whatever, yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:01 Sounds the last 24 hours. And it would be like a clip from the view, and it would be like a two-minute clip of them talking about something. And Bobby would be like, I need 20 seconds. And so I had to figure out which 20 seconds. And I was like, I mean, it sounded so much. I was like, why am I in charge of editing? these. Now it's stuff that Ray could probably do in his sleep, but it took me like 30 minutes to do that. I have this ball here. I guess the right number, and I would give you...
Starting point is 00:30:31 $100? Wow. I don't know if that's all I have. Hold on. It can't be 100 because... I give you 20. Yeah. We have to work really hard to be 100 there. If you can guess the number when I roll the ball, you get 20 bucks.
Starting point is 00:30:43 It's one out of 100, right? Maybe. 28. Mike. 71. Eddie? I'm going to go three. Morgan?
Starting point is 00:30:53 68. Ray? 36, my age. Scooby Steve? 37. Okay, the number is. Did anyone guess a number that starts with three is in 30? In the 30s?
Starting point is 00:31:10 Yes. Me and Ray. You both of you? 36 and 37. The number is 33. But I did 28. No, no, no, it has to land on it. It's like you have to land on it for the money.
Starting point is 00:31:20 Oh, you land exactly on it? You know the game that goes with that. I thought it was his closest without going over. You don't know the game? No. The reason that dice exists is the game is if it lands, if it lands on your number, you die. If it lands on any other number...
Starting point is 00:31:34 It's Squid Games, dice game? Yes. If it lands on any other number, you get a million dollars. How many times are you willing to roll that dice? That's not why that exists. That's why it exists. That is not. Nobody...
Starting point is 00:31:46 It's never been played that way. So, Bobby, I want to ask you, how many times are you willing to risk the roll? How many times are you willing to roll that dice? For a million dollars? Well, yeah, anytime it doesn't roll on your number, it's a million dollars. 100 to 1, 7 times. And my number is going to be 3.
Starting point is 00:32:00 Ready? Roll it 7 times. Amy get the gun ready. Okay, here you go. Number one is 39. That's $1 million. What's your number? Three.
Starting point is 00:32:11 The second one is 98, no, 86. Okay. All right, $2 million. I have five more to go. In real life, my belly will be puckered. Exactly. Next up 55.
Starting point is 00:32:25 Okay, three million dollars. Four to go. Amy, get the gun ready. Next up. Seven. Oh, you're puckered. Next up. What was that, $4 million?
Starting point is 00:32:39 Yeah. Next up, $72. Oh, good. $5 million. Next up, $85. Oh. $6 million. Last one.
Starting point is 00:32:54 So last one, and then you're dead? No. then I went out seven million. If it lands on three, he's dead. 10. Okay. I would do that. Well, yeah, but it sounds,
Starting point is 00:33:02 it sounds all great, but if this was real, you wouldn't do it that many times. One in a hundred, and one has nothing to do with the next. Correct. Yeah. But it could land on three and...
Starting point is 00:33:09 Mike, can you create a game in your mind that that's comparable something on this show? Yeah. Not like where you die? Hey, if he thinks of it. That's what he comes up with. But we could do it.
Starting point is 00:33:21 It's like you want a dollar every time. But if not, we pelt you with paintballs. Yeah. There you go. You don't like that, Amy? I mean, whatever. I think that's pretty fun.
Starting point is 00:33:35 I think it's good radio. Okay, good. Picking up radio. 40. Now you don't want it to land on 40. 50. All right, we're done. That's a good game, though.
Starting point is 00:33:48 We should come up with that. Like, you have to stand up against the wall. No, and get, like, Elton. It's probably not going to hit your number. One out of 100. But it's like five bucks every time it lands on it. But if they hit your number, any of the, five times, we have two paintball guns.
Starting point is 00:34:03 We can shoot you five times. I took it home for last Christmas and I did it with all my family and my father-in-law, he guessed the number. Yeah, like you would have died, father-in-law. Oh, I get me chills. Wait, if you guess it, you die? Yes, you don't want it to land on the door. Oh.
Starting point is 00:34:20 So that's why you were like, oh, okay. All right. That whole time you didn't know what's going on? I thought we didn't want to. I thought, yeah. I was like, oh my gosh, if it lands on. Three. Was that your number? I was like, I'm going to have to shoot him. No, but that is how you play it.
