I just saw that Ellen is ending her talk show. Oh, really? Wow. She says, when you're a creative person, you constantly need to be challenged and as great as this show is, as fun as it is, it's not a challenge. But we really think it's probably because of all that toxic workplace

allegation stuff, right? Probably. I think she's making a ton of money. I think she's been on for, like, more than 15 years. Yeah, long run. running show. I mean, if you're 21, you probably barely remember a time without Ellen. You probably don't remember Oprah as a current person. You know?

I was trying to think, is she even, it's probably longer than 15 years. Maybe, I'm just assuming it's about 15 years. But she's out there. I have some voicemails I want her to play, too. Some of these are reactions to the show today. Here is voicemail number one. Yeah, Bobby, I was calling about your pay it forward. I think everybody's missing the concept of pay it forward.

It's not a monetary thing. a good deed for somebody else or spend money on them, but it's just a gift of the heart. So it's like changing a flat tire for somebody and not charging them anything. We're talking about the Starbucks going through and the line keeps going. My point is,

hey, listen, good, but really the only person is benefiting is the last person in line. And then it ends up holding up the workers. Like, I love the idea of it, but logically, my logical brain goes, everyone's not giving something. You're just kind of keeping it going to the last person. Where I wish it would just go, hey, I'm going to pay it forward to the next person.

they accept it and then you move on and then somebody else can do it. Because you were going to pay for your coffee anyways. Let's say it's coffee. You're paying for it anyways. So then if you end up paying for somebody else's, their money's still there. The only person that doesn't have to pay anything is the person at the end. Right?

Yes. Yes. But I see what he's saying. Me too. I see that it's like it feels good to be a part of a chain. And it feels good to get your coffee bought too at that moment. Even though that feeling goes away when you have to buy the person behind you, it still feels good like, wow, somebody to pay for my coffee.

I'm missing my point. You can do that all you want. Just pull up and I'm paying for the next person And then give them their coffee They paid for you next You can still do that But you're not passing on the love behind you You know what I'm saying

Not passing that back It's just a lot more work For everybody at the place I kind of like this caller I'm with him Here is the next one Hey I was just calling to let Bobby know That he can rest assured

That the baristas Anytime there's a pay it forward line They actually enjoy When the person just accept it and goes on and doesn't pay for the car behind them because it really backs up the process. So he can leave guilt-free with his free latte. Just go take it. Wow, this feels great.

Thank you. And then you do it next time you're around. You guys are being logical about it, which makes sense. That's what logical means. It makes sense, right? But you're missing the feeling part of it of like, oh, it makes people feel good. Of course. I never said I missed it.

No, like the caller said. No, I never was against the line. I just say, I go, why not just go out? You just want it to end after one. I want the person to get it. And then next time they come around, they just do it for one person. Just a different. Here is Adam from Virginia.

Hey, Bobby. Good morning, studio. Just calling in to get you guys his way in on this field shortage thing that's going on. I don't know if you guys are getting hit by it, but it's pretty crazy. A lot of fist fights yesterday. Getting out of hand. All right. Well, talk to y'all later.

Bye. We did talk about it on today's show, but... Fist fights, huh? I'd imagine just the disrespecting is cutting line. I saw some videos once you talked about. I googled it. There were some fist fights. Here is Mike from Massachusetts.

So, I got news from a coworker that one of my, the little manager, is going to ask me to switch my schedule to stay till 5 p.m. every day at the automotive shop. I don't really want to. I want to keep my schedule until 3.30, 7 to 3.30 instead of going and eat 5. So what should I do? I think you have to tell them why you can't. And if they go, no, you need to, then it's time for you to make a decision. You don't have a lot of leverage in that sitch if a boss is like, the only leverage you have is to work and be the boss.

Then you get to make those decisions. Yeah, it's a good point. What up with a co-worker telling them like, hey, heads up, the boss is about to do this to you? Like, do you appreciate that? Or you're like, yeah. Yeah. Because then you know. You can kind of prepare your statement.

Because he's already preparing. Yeah, it's like, hey, there's what's going to happen. And then the boss comes in and tells you you're not surprised you can actually be logical, which I know you guys hate logic on this show. I know this is an anti-logic, anti-science show. Stop it. You're twisting my words. Yeah, that's not what we're saying.

Yeah, I know. But yes, it does give you an opportunity to maybe not respond so emotional. Not react, but to respond. I love that. Which I struggle with. Because that will react my face off. Like a snake. And then I go, oh, why don't I say.

say this. I should have just gathered my thoughts. I sat on a conference call yesterday where I was biting my tongue the whole time. I just wanted everybody had their peace and I said, would you guys like me to speak now? Oh! But I had gathered all emotions. And then I started talking in a very calm way until about halfway through. Then I ended up doing

this, just going crazy anyway. But I got like halfway through. What was this about? It doesn't matter. It was some work stuff. Okay. It doesn't matter. Oh, man. Demi Lovato is going to start an unscripted series about UFOs, which I don't really like Demi Lovato that much. I find her to be a little annoying sometimes. However, extremely talented as a singer, and I love UFOs. And I'm not crazy UFO guy. I just think, as we're being shown, they're hiding stuff from us.

Probably not. There's an alien civilization on Mars, but they probably know more than they're telling us. So what is she doing? Well, she has an interest in aliens, too. She will executive produce and star in a new unscripted peacock series called Unidentified with Demi Lovato. It's four episodes.

It'll follow Demi or Sister Dallas and skeptic friend Matthew searching for truth about UFOs. Thank God this skeptic friend Matthew's on there. Okay. You need that though, right? So it doesn't go complete craziness. Oh, Matthew.

Are they going to be talking? I wonder if they'll talk to people that have been abducted. Probably talked to anyone that will be interesting and anyone that will give them some, you know, some real data. But yeah, that peacock's going to be a pretty good channel. I watch

That has a statue It's a new show It's pretty funny I forget what it's called I've watched a couple episodes Of that Because they're only 30 minute episodes So 25 minutes or so

Circle Network is on there All the office is on there That's where it lives now They have a bunch of movies That peacock's pretty good I'm not going to pay to talk about it. I wish I would. But I think they're kind of, you know who else is coming into it pretty hard?

It's Paramount Plus. Yeah. There are going to be so many channels. You can't keep cable and buy the app channels or the streaming channels. They're just apps on my TV. Yeah. But you get to make a decision and then do you buy them all? It's a wild wild west right now.

One of them got me the day. I don't know which one, but I logged into it. And it's like your rate has gone up by a dollar. Just click okay. I was like, oh, well, I have to watch whatever I'm watching, so I just clicked okay. Like, that doesn't, when that pops up, I never think like, whoa, wait a second. Like, I should probably cancel this. You know?

Like, so they can just keep doing that forever and we're going to keep paying that extra dollar. Yeah. They got us, good. I don't know what network it is, but yeah. I don't remember which one it was. I subscribed to the Walmart channel once. What's that? There's a Walmart channel?

They have their own streaming service, and I was trying to find a movie. This thing's called Vood. I don't know. But I end up canceling that one. It's the only one I've canceled. Oh, okay. It's pretty good, but I just found all the other stuff on other places, too. Pluto?

I don't know. Okay. What is it called? Voodoo movies. Okay. I've seen that. Yeah, we were trying to find, and we did, we watched it, and we ended up being like, yeah, we don't watch this one enough, but everybody's

getting in the competition. I wish there was a way you could type into your TV what you're looking for, and it'll tell you where it is. There is. There is? Yeah, it's called search. Like on the bottom, if you have a smart TV, if you go to the far left, there's a search. You type it in, it says it's on Google, it's on Google,

play, it's on Amazon, it's on Hulu. I'm shocked that lunchbox had the answer to that. I need that because I... There's also Google. That's where it is. Just, picket, ticket. Okay, guys. All right.

Look at you fancy pants. We're not fancy pants. You can Google anything. Okay. Okay. I thought I went, I had searched for that movie the bird year and I was going to buy it on Amazon or rent it on Amazon. And then I found it for free on Disney Plus.

But I had to go searching around. Did you have Disney Plus? I have Disney Plus. I have Disney Plus. But it was free. And luckily, my daughter was like, let's look on Disney. It might be free there. And I'm like, no, let's just, it's probably not.

Let's just do Amazon. And then we go over to Disney Plus. Sure enough. Yeah. I saved 399. We were doing that with Succession until we went to HBO Max. I was buying them on Amazon. He saved so much money if you just searched a little bit.

And I was like, yeah, but it's not on HBO Max. Not knowing why I was thinking that. Right. And then we went, she was like, well, here they all are. Well, my family gets mad at me on Friday and night. So I'm just like, all right, before we buy the movie, I'm going to search all of our. apps to see if we can get it for free.

And then it's like, no, all right, Amazon. There was a biographer that came out with a story about Bill Gates yesterday, how he was having naked pool parties. Oh. Did anyone, isn't anyone following the Bill Gates stuff? No. You know, his wife, when they divorced, she went and rented a whole island so the press couldn't get to her.

Oh, smart. Yeah, he's held up at a golf place where he owns like six rooms or something and just keep it to himself. The more we find out about Bill Gates, the article says, the more we wonder what took Melinda Gates so long to end her marriage. I know what it took so long. Money. To review, and it goes through some of the stuff,

but according to James Wallace, who wrote the 1997 biography, Overdrive, Bill Gates and the Race to Control Cyberspace, the billionaire was quite the womanizer before he met Melinda in the early days of their relationship. In fact, it was so well known that newspapers wouldn't talk about the parties he threw at his home in Seattle. he was known to go to nightclubs or dancers would come home,

swim naked, and his friends with the pool. This is not my lifestyle, obviously, but if this is before he's married, why is it a story? Yeah, who cares? Unless he did something bad, why is it a story? I guess we just don't picture Bill Gates doing it.

Because now we see, like, the older Bill Gates, you know? Nerdy. Yeah, like it's just not, you know, if this story was out about somebody else, you'd think, like Robert Downey Jr., I'd be like, okay. But Bill Gates is a little more.

like, wow. They're painting him. And listen, there's some other stuff, too, that he had that girlfriend while he was married, but his wife knew everybody's relationship is different. That wouldn't be something for me. But he had naked girls on his pool when he wasn't married. That's every guy's dream.

Yeah. Sounds like a good day. Is it? Yeah. It is? Except for me. If you were single right now, you would not have naked girls in your pool.

I agree. I say that in general, because I was single and had a pool. never had a single naked girl. Exactly. But also I wasn't a billionaire. But yeah, not my style, but most guys would be like, oh, I'm single. Why not do single guy things?

And don't you just think that billionaires do with all this stuff anyway? I never get shocked when stories like this happened. They're billionaires. Like, well, they can buy anything. Why wouldn't they have naked girls in their pool? Well, listen, my parents were not billionaires. But as a kid, I remember them having pool parties and other adults and they would get naked. What?

What on earth? There's like a neighbor thing. Everybody would come and get naked? Excuse me? Like one of my friends' dads in particular, I'm not going to say his name, but I remember like looking outside and being like, what is going on? And then my babysitter was like, time to go back to bed now. What on?

Do you think that there would? I have no idea. Don't even ask me. I have no idea. But like. If you had a guess, though. If I had a guess, no. I don't think anything was happening.

I think it was just like pool. drinking, you know, this is when, you know, this is before my mom came to know Jesus. Yeah, but I'm saying, do you think that they were, as John Anderson would say? No, no, no, I don't think so. But I think that they were just, someone would be like, I don't know that everybody got naked. I've never been naked around another guy in a pool. Never? I mean, Eddie hasn't come over and we're like, let's take her clothes off.

No. We were in the hot tub. No. No, I'm not saying it's. Like, you ever been naked in the hot tub of me? Nope. Yeah, me either. Like, this wasn't normal childhood for some of you?

Mike and his fiance don't come over and be like, all right, everybody getting naked in the hot tub and no, but my childhood normal was different, right? Lots of drugs. Right. I didn't see any of that. Yeah. But, like, you know, one time somebody gave my dad a blowup doll. I, like, remember seeing it. That's not what I thought was she about to say.

I didn't either. But it was a joke. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. I was like, oh, stop, stop. Wow. It was like a gag, like a joke, but I remember seeing it, you know? And so I think that was just like their sense of humor.

Like they were just a little bit more. What is the word they used to describe my dad? Gosh, there's a word. No, no, no. Gosh, why is it on the tip of my tongue? But like a, not a, hmm. Someone showed up and gave your dad a blow doll. It has a gag.

Yeah, like, what's like a, an, Not an outlaw. That's not the word. Pen, rebel. No, no. Rebell-ish. Like a scoundrel. You yell at me like Alan Jackson did in our interview.

When all of a sudden he yelled out the name of a song. Oh, debauchery. What was the song? Cornbread. I don't know. There's something that. What song did Alan Jackson yell out, Mike? Where I come from?

Oh, yeah. I'm like, so anyway, the year was 2006. Where I come from? What the time? Okay, Alan Jackson. We talked about that 10 minutes ago. All right. Let's see.

What else do I have here? Yesterday, it was a brief little part of the show where someone called in and goes, hey, if I'm in the Chick-fil-A parking lot and I'm doing my work in the car, can I go back in and get a refill? And I was like, according to me, I would say they'd look at you weird

because once you leave the building, it's like leaving a sporting event, like got to pay to re-enter. But Lunchbox, you went out and talk to people? I called Chick-fil-A. I want to get a statement. Yeah. Okay.

Is it stealing if you go in for a refill after you leave the restaurant? Okay, here is the voice. We have the voicemail too from yesterday. It's quick. Here it is. If I go through the drive-thru or even go inside, say Chick-fil-I and get my order to go, but I go and sit in a parking spot in my vehicle to get some work done while I eat my food.

Can I go back inside and get a refill? Is that a stealing? Is that frowned upon? No enough. I definitely didn't think it was stealing, but I thought you could get the side-eye and be frowned upon a little bit because you left the establishment. And anybody just walking in with a cup and be like, here for another. Here's what chick, I imagine they're going to be really nice, though, huh?

They're always nice. Yeah, I was wondering if I could talk to a manager real quick. Yeah, yeah, I'm one of the managers. How can I help you? Okay, I got a question for you, man. So I worked for a radio station, and we had someone call in, and they had a question. They get their Chick-fil-A, and they go eat in their car, and then they do work, and then they want to know, is it okay to come back in and get a refill, or should they buy another drink?

The receipt, and we beverage. Okay, yeah, because he said he likes to go, sit in his car, do work, and then his drink is empty and he's like I want to go back in and get another drink but he doesn't know if it's like stealing if he goes back in and gets another drink from you guys Yeah, he'll have to buy another one But I mean, you know

We'll take care of it if he's only out there For a little bit and coming back in Keeping the receipt though is also pretty important All right, cool, thank you so mad so much Thanks for ending that debate for us No problem. Have a great day Make sure you have a great one out there Bye bye

He almost didn't say my pleasure He also has never been asked that question before. You could tell by he's like, huh, it's a good question. And then he kept saying premises, and I was like, premises inside the building. Is it the parking lot? I think it's just the property. I think it just is that keep your receipt. And if it's within an hour or so.

Within a good amount of time, then yes, you can get a drink. Huh. I'd never even thought of that before until the guy called with that voice mail yesterday. That's a good follow up. Nice job there. The Bengal Tiger, is it still on loose? Yeah, they can't find it. The one in Houston?

Yeah, they can't find it. Even now after... But they arrested the guy. I did see that. He was arrested for attempted murder. The murder suspect, the owner of the Bengal tiger is arrested, but the cat remains at large. How? How's the cat not been found?

Well, so the cat was wandering a neighborhood, and so police were called, and the dude shows up and grabs the tiger, throws in his car, and speeds off. Police gave chase, lost him. And so by the time they found the dude, the tiger wasn't with him. Do you think he pushed the tiger out, or do you think he hit him somewhere else? No, he gave him a friend. You think so? Yeah, absolutely. So he's not roaming around a neighborhood still?

I don't think so. I think he's in someone's house. That's where I was confused. Like, how can they not find a tiger that's roaming around somewhere? Yeah, I think it's one of his associates, has it. And he's busted for attempted murder. Attempted murder or murder? I don't know.

One of the two. Yeah, he got a serious crime. So he won't be seeing that tiger anytime soon. Well, he's still worried about the tiger, though. And I wouldn't even though. Yeah, he's wanted to jail forever. He's wanted for murder or attempted murder, and he runs out and grabs a cat, throws it in the car, and drives away.

Like, why wouldn't you just... I mean, we do that for dogs, guys. This guy has a tiger. Who has a tiger? Maybe he actually cares about the tiger, right? Maybe. Maybe. I just assume someone's in a tiger trade because I've seen so much about that.

Or big cat trade. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Did you see the story? Yeah. Did you know one time lunchbox saw a horse running around Marble Falls? Oh, Marble Falls. It was running around downtown Marble Falls.

Back and forth across the street right through the drive-through Licker Barn. I mean, it was crazy. Cars were stopping. Everybody's honking. it was amazing. And people still in Marble Falls talk about that day.

Is that right? They do. I'm telling you, people hit me up. I was down, I was at the H.EB. that day and I saw it too. Why would,

I used to go to Marble Falls, but I can't remember why. The lake. The lake. What's one of the best lakes? The Dallas Cowboys were training there. I went there one time for that. You guys,

But definitely haven't picked up or anything. It's been just kind of being resourceful and using the exposure that's happened to just book shows. Have you booked any shows based on the exposure at all?

Yes. Really? Yeah, I mean, I'm again, just a little bit of a hustler entrepreneur, so definitely made a spreadsheet of every city that you're syndicated in. Look at this guy. That's perfect. And then just was like, hey, so I connected with Fort Wayne, so they were going to do something up there. Atlanta, New Hampshire, Manchester and New Hampshire and stuff like that. So, so far we're booked until September. Nice. That's awesome.

Yeah, so it's been. How has, like, Instagram been? Do you get any much followers? Yeah. I think it was 24-5 when we, when it was on the show. And now it's at like 36-8. Wow. So a lot of there and just trying to utilize all of that going live a lot.

And I went live the night I was on here. And there was like in 12 seconds, like 27. people watching, which was pretty cool coming from usually like 19 people watching. Yeah. I was like, oh my God, so many of you were here watching a low. That's pretty cool. So it's been really really great. Anything else exciting happening? No, I don't really know. Okay, well, there we have it. There is. That was awesome. Thank you guys. Yeah. What's happening today with you? Just bring you lunch and then looking for homes. Are you looking for a house? Yeah, looking for houses and stuff. For you to move to? Yeah. You and your

family? Yeah. Your fiance and the boy. Yeah. Dang. So yeah, busy and it's a weird. It sucks to try to buy a house right now. Everything's gone immediately or it's so inflated because you can charge a ton for it. Yeah. And no one updates their websites. I'm like, hey, cool, this looks great. It's been off the market for like six weeks now. Really? I'm going to kill everyone. What do you use? What site do you use mostly? Do you get on Zillow? I mean Zillow, there's a couple other ones just like there's a real estate agent that will help and sometimes it will just send me stuff. I'm like, hey, like what do you think about this? But, Yeah, it's definitely a weird time for everybody. That's pretty cool. Any luck with getting like showcases for labels or anything?

Nothing there. I mean, I've been working on the backside of like publishing and stuff. That's kind of the next step. We had some doors open before COVID hit and now everything's kind of opening back up. So hopefully try to knock on some doors. I get a publishing deal? Yeah. I wrote with the smack songs.
