The doorbell cameras catch everything now. It's like I think about committing crimes a lot, but now I know there are doorbell cameras everywhere.
Starting point is 00:03:06 Can't do it. You can't do it anymore. I also want to go like, Ding-dong ditch. Sometimes they just get bored and want to do that. I know I can't do that. But it's tougher for people, especially like Amazon drivers, if they screw up or food. Any delivery, if you mess up or you do something purposeful, it's there and it can go viral.
Starting point is 00:03:23 So there's a story. Order from Jimmy Johns. And in the video, the driver backs up to a driveway, opens the door, drops the bag on the pavement, and drives away. Just roop, thop. Oh, wow. Then heads out. And so they were like, what do you? Tip bed?
Starting point is 00:03:37 He was like, no. She's tip 20% on a $10 order. And so it's just him driving up. I mean, it doesn't walk up to the door. Doesn't do anything except, boom, drop it on the curb. Which, pretty funny. It's pretty funny that we have the footage because, you know, all his buddies are celebrating them right now.
Starting point is 00:03:54 You think he'd be embarrassed. And we're like, Clint! You made it. You made him, man. You blew up on TikTok. But you just have to be careful now. It's good for us because now everybody's kind of watched. It's also a big brother-like.
Starting point is 00:04:06 Everybody's kind of watched. So kind of a double-edged sword there. Glad everybody's up with us. I got a couple things I wanted to mention. I woke up this morning and had my phone out. I hit video on my phone. As soon as I got out of bed, immediately, I was like, I'm going to catch one of these foxes in the act.
Starting point is 00:04:18 Foxes at my house. And yesterday we talked about it. They were on my back porch looking in the window, like prison style when you're talking with an inmate, like that close. And I was like, what? So we talked about it yesterday. I woke up, hit video, rolled out of bed.
Starting point is 00:04:32 No chance I was going to see one. I saw one in the distance. And I have it on my phone. And so I'm recording it. like, oh my goodness, oh my goodness, I got it. I got it. And then three more right behind it. He brought his buddies with them. I've got all four foxes that are living at the house and they don't care. It's like, again, like Bugs Bunny just chilling in front of Elmer Fudd. Like, what's you going
Starting point is 00:04:51 do there? And so I sent it to Eddie and Mike just to make sure that it, because I felt like, am I crazy? Isn't this so weird this is happening? Right, guys, this is weird, right? I've never seen foxes like that in broad daylight walk right up to a house. I mean, dude, you were just on the other side of the window taking the video. of it. It's like, looks at you and like, oh, look at all my buddies are out here too. They're hanging out in the yard. Crazy. Usually you would think either dark or they'd be in holes.
Starting point is 00:05:15 But they were so brave just hanging out. So now I've got to go trap them, but I've also now named them. All four of them? So now I love them. Yeah. And I also want to kill them. So I'm torn. So the goal is to find some trappers and then free them into the wild, but I don't want to free them one by one.
Starting point is 00:05:31 They lose each other. They need to stay together. They need to free all four of them and then put them out together. So or just adopt them and let them live in the room. Would you be opposed to just leaving your door open overnight and see if they come on in? That'd be so funny. My wife would kill me. Kill me dead.
Starting point is 00:05:48 That would be so funny. Would they attack you? No. Like, I don't know. They love him. No, I don't think so. Unless they're rabid, hungry, or threatened, probably not. And I don't think they're any of those.
Starting point is 00:06:01 They would run from me. Yeah, they're really not. They're so comfortable there, which is the weirdest thing. So we have that happening at our house right now. We have to figure out to get rid of them, but in a humane way. I also got a picture, and I woke up this morning, and somebody tagged me on Instagram. They're like, hey, I go into Mount Pine. What's all your sign?
Starting point is 00:06:18 Boyhood home with Bobby Bones. Yeah, it's like, cool, I reposted it. No big deal. And then I started to get other messages about the repost, and people are like it. There are bullet holes in that sign. Yeah, dude, I saw it. Bullet holes, and it's bent. It's beat up.
Starting point is 00:06:29 What's happening here? Someone shot at it? So if you... Dude, it's in. bad shape. What is happening? I try to keep that town alive. Now they're shooting at me. How long has that sign been up? A couple years? Three years? Probably more than that. Okay. All right. Because I feel like just as the years have gone,
Starting point is 00:06:47 that thing just looks worn out. Well, they had to replace it because somebody stole it. And now people are shooting it. It's happening here. So I guess it's true. You either die a hero or eventually turn into a villain. How in the world does someone even, what did they take a gun and a baseball bat do it? I feel like they took the bottom of the gun and beat it and shot it. What in the world? I saw that, which isn't good. And then I come in this morning. I've been really sick.
Starting point is 00:07:10 I've had the last few days. I've been slowly getting back to normal. And my doctor, I can't have this cough, right? I can't get rid of the cough. And the cough leaves, I guess, once all the crap comes out of your chest, but I have trouble sleeping with the cough. And so it's a codeine cough syrup. And so I'd be careful. Yeah, I'd be careful.
Starting point is 00:07:29 You know, I had a little drink last night. Purple drink. I love that. I had a very little drink. I did this. I took the bottle and I went. Did it even work? That's it?
Starting point is 00:07:40 Huh? Yeah. Did it even the work? Yeah. Stop all the day through the night. What? Yeah. Look, watch.
Starting point is 00:07:47 That's all I needed. Whoa. That's why I wondered if those foxes were even real. I'll be honest with you. No, they're real. We saw the video. So I had one, I mean, just a lot like this. And then I never slept through the night ever in my life.
Starting point is 00:07:59 The last five years, I don't sleep. And so I took a drink like that. Like that. And then I woke up and thought it would be like 12, 30th. It's when I wake up the first time. It was like three hours past that. I was like, oh my goodness. Dang.
Starting point is 00:08:12 So anyway, if you guys have any like, you know, shady buddies that have a whole bunch of this, let me know. I found I'm going to sleep now. It must be some good stuff. Yeah. It tastes terrible. And I'll probably use it tonight, maybe only. And then I'll just flush it. I have a problem with starting to use something and then being super dependent on it.
Starting point is 00:08:31 And, you know, I keep from getting addicted. When I would go to the dentist, like crazy, I had tons of mouth surgeries, which I have a mouth three later today, which stinks. But they would give me Vicodin, and I had to flush it on toilet because I'd be like, this is the greatest stuff. I'm going to take it every day. I love it. It's my new wife. Yeah. But I can't because I, you know, my family has a huge history of addiction.
Starting point is 00:08:49 Self-awareness. And I know, I know what's coming. So I remember flushing it down the toilet. Wow. I can't do it. So anyway, I'll be selling this to you guys in a couple days. If you guys want to buy my code name, Scoobo Steve stands up real quick. It's that time of the morning.
Starting point is 00:09:04 Let's open up the mailbag. You send an email and we read it on the air. It's something we call Bobby's Mailbag. Yeah. Hello, Bobby Bones. I need some dating advice. I'm 26. I've been dating a girl I met.
Starting point is 00:09:19 Dating for a few years. She's a few years younger than I am. The thing is, she has a picture of Harry Stiles as her lock screen. Not from a concert, not of them together. Just a random picture on the internet. She mentioned he's her favorite artist, but I feel like it's a red flag if she has. has him as her lock screen.
Starting point is 00:09:35 Is she obsessed with him? Is she trying to manifest meeting him and falling in love? Maybe I'm overthinking it. But do you think it's a red flag if a girl has a celebrity as their lock screen signed Matt S? Matt, I'd like to also confess something to you here, so you don't feel so alone. I also have Harry Stiles in my lock screen. This is not something to worry about, buddy. I guess it's weird, but it's not something to change your relationship on because she has Harry Stiles as her lock screen.
Starting point is 00:10:04 it would make more sense if she was with him in the picture, sure. And it may just be to be funny. Heck, I have the same picture. I don't change mine. I've had mine for 10 months at this point. But I do not think that it is a dating red flag. Morgan, if you're with a guy, so you're dating him, and you look at his and he's got Reese Witherspoon.
Starting point is 00:10:21 That's what we were going to pick, but okay, because she's older now. But as a lock screen, is that a red flag to you? I mean, no, I wouldn't be concerned about it per se, but I would be like a little offended that. Why don't you have a picture of us or your dog or something? something a little more personal. I think you can say something about it too. I think you can make fun of him about it or her. We can make fun of her about it. You're like, oh, you know, you're not, you can't have Harry. You just talk with me here. So let's move it on over to me. Like, you can do that.
Starting point is 00:10:46 That's fine. If there's nothing else in her life that says that she's obsessed with Harry Stile in an unhealthy way, it's fine. It's not a big deal. Don't break up a relationship because of this. I'm sure there other things you can find to break up that relationship there. My lock screen now? This is my wife and I. It's a picture from Mike D's wedding. That's been over a year. Yeah, Kayla changes her. She's actually every few weeks or so she puts up a new picture. And most of the time it has me in it. Oh, most of the time.
Starting point is 00:11:11 Most of the time. And sometimes I'm like, hey, hey, why did you have me on that picture? So that is not a red flag. It is a warning of a possible yellow flag. How about that? Yeah, I think that's good. Watch out for possible yellow flags. But that new Harry Styles album is really good.
Starting point is 00:11:27 I haven't said that. Yeah, it's good. It's called Harry's House. All right, that's it. Thank you. Close it up. We've got your email. red on the air.
Starting point is 00:11:35 Now it's about to close. Bobby's mailback. Yeah. You see like they have focus groups, maybe in a TV commercial where they have, Amy, there's a big table and there's all these people sitting around a table. And they're like, what do you think about this color or this name? We kind of have that here.
Starting point is 00:11:49 Lunchbox read my kid's book, Stanley the Dog, the first day of school, to his kids, right? Yeah, my two-year-old and my three-year-old. Okay, so you have audio of you doing this? Are you just going to tell me? No, I got audio. I sat him down in the room right before bedtime, and I pulled it out of my backpack because you gave it to me.
Starting point is 00:12:06 And I read the title of the book and my three-year-old had a problem with the concept of the book. It's called Stanley the dog, the first day of school. What do you think? What do you mean? Good point. Yeah, man, he's right. I mean, right off the bat, he was just like, he saw the dog in the school bus window and he was just like, this dog don't go to school? That's silly.
Starting point is 00:12:31 And he just was like, I don't get it. When I told the publisher of the book, I said, here's my idea. They said, dogs don't go to school. Same exact thing. So I get it. Okay, so here's a clip of lunchbox reading my book to his boys. Today was the first day of school and Stanley really didn't want to go. He dwightled in bed.
Starting point is 00:12:53 He dithered over which color to wear. He didn't even touch his breakfast. Yeah, school bus. Yeah. I love this. Bye, bye. Yep. Beep, beep, went the bus.
Starting point is 00:13:04 Have fun. Bobby and with a stumble and a bumble Stanley trotted off to catch his ride. The close of the bus drew to school, the more Stanley called his stomach turned and not. He'd never been to school before. Sounds like the show. Oh my God.
Starting point is 00:13:18 Honestly, that sounds like this show. That's what I feel like with you guys. That's the same. I'm like, I'm like I felt, you know what it feels like now lunchbox? I mean, over and over. My two-year-old was obsessed with the school bus. And every time we turn the page, he'd be like,
Starting point is 00:13:30 Dad-Dat, where's the school bus? And he'd make me go back to the school bus. He just wanted to look at the school bus. bus the whole time. All right. So the focus group loves a school bus.
Starting point is 00:13:38 All right. Did you get to end to the book? Oh, we got to end the big book and they loved it and they enjoyed it. They thought it was funny and they liked the dogs.
Starting point is 00:13:46 But they were, my three-year-old got saddie. He was like, why does the other dog Tommy has to go to the back of the line? That's mean. That's the point. Yes.
Starting point is 00:13:53 Not everybody at school is super nice to Stanley, but he, you know, he finds where he fits in, which is just with himself. Yes. Yes.
Starting point is 00:13:59 And so it was a success. And we read it two nights in a row and we'll see what about tonight of tonight's three nights in a row. Is that the whole vibe every time you're reading? Just all the talk, any book you're reading? Yeah. Oh, wow. Not, well, not all the time. I mean, if they like
Starting point is 00:14:14 it, they ask questions about it, but they want to see certain things. But yes, you go back to that pay the school bus, dad, school bus. Love's the school bus. Yeah, yeah, it's like on the show. Lottery story, Bobby, lottery story. Okay, lunchbox. Here's another lottery story. Okay, well, thank you. If you guys want to get the book, it's like 15 bucks. It is, I'm very proud of it. I'm not keeping any of the money that we make from
Starting point is 00:14:34 the first year. People go, why the first year? Because usually doesn't make any money after the first year. So I just don't want to have to keep up with it when I'm 73 years old and be like, well, I didn't give him six bucks this year and then I ended up going to jail or something, you know? Yeah, then you get called out for it. Yes, so it's like, well, a year. Anybody who make up the book in a year, we're going to donate. Well, we read it and Stevenson was enjoyed it. He's totally different age than him. He's 11, but he still enjoyed it as an 11-year-old. And his favorite, I think, was the surprise from a cat makes an appearance. So there's not just dogs. So a three-year-old and 11-year-old, and rumor is, Ray loved it too.
Starting point is 00:15:07 Right, Ray? Yeah. A different message for everybody. That's awesome. It's time for the good news. With Amy. Tell me something good. So this kid that just turned nine, his name is Hunter Peterson.
Starting point is 00:15:20 He lives in Wisconsin. And for his birthday, he said, no toys. Hey, family, hey friends. Don't give me any gifts. Donate to the police department again with stuffed animals for their kids. And I say again, because this is the third birthday that he's decided to do. do this. Well, I'll step up for him then and say, don't forget him. I know you're going to probably donate. He's probably done some good work here, right? Yeah, this year he was able to donate
Starting point is 00:15:43 511 full-sized stuffed animals, along with a lot of smaller things and toys. And this is his biggest donation yet. So he's not stopping here. He's got future birthdays, hopefully, coming up, and he wants to hit a goal of a thousand. So you, for his birthday, donate. But if you don't get him something, he's going to be sad still. He's still a kid. I love it that he's eight, nine years and that's what he wants to do. His first thought is to give to others. That's a great story. That is what it's all about.
Starting point is 00:16:09 That was Tell Me Something Good. All right, let's feel old. It's a list of songs that old millennials grew up with that's now classic rock. And so I was born in 1980s, so I'm running that line of millennial or Gen X. And these are songs that I grew up with, but now you flip it on the classic rock station and then they're like, Green Day, classic rock. And you're like, oh, come on. So even classic country sometimes on the classic country station, they're like, And now enjoy a song from Reba.
Starting point is 00:16:38 And you're like, no, no, I'm not getting older. So here we go, the top five here at number five from 1992. It's 30 years old. Amy, do you know this song from Radiohead? But I'm a creep. Yes. Yes. Do you know what that is?
Starting point is 00:16:53 Just a creep. Go ahead, sing it. Real big creep. Nope. Nope. No, no. No, no. No, no.
Starting point is 00:16:59 But I do know it. Yeah, I believe you. It's pretty big. but they really don't play that song, which is a weird thing. Live, they don't do it. Yeah, so that one's on Classic Rock. At number four, you'll for sure know. Here's Alanis.
Starting point is 00:17:10 Man, you're that on Classic Rock Station. I mean, but to be honest, we were listening to this in seventh grade. It's still sad. Sixth grade, maybe. Still! I mean, yeah, that's not fair. That's the truth. Man, I think I was in high school.
Starting point is 00:17:26 Yeah. Yeah, well, you're older than me. Crazy. Okay, here we go. It gets worse. At number three on Classic Rock Radio, you will hear this song. Because maybe. No!
Starting point is 00:17:35 The Oasis, Wonderwall. That's for sure high school for me. Man, I need to teach my kids this stuff. They don't care. They don't care. They don't like it. Yeah, we're stupid. Our music was stupid, all that.
Starting point is 00:17:48 Number two, the chili peppers. Here you go. Good one. And then number one in classic rock radio, Nirvana, smells like teen spirit. It's just, yeah, I listened to a lot of classic rock radio when I was a kid, and it was all like 70s. 60s and 70s. It was like deep purple. Creedon's Clearwater revival.
Starting point is 00:18:09 Yeah. And now all of a sudden, here it is, the chili peppers. And that's us. I'm now Arkansas Keith. So what is Zeppelin now? Oldies? It's still on classic rock. Just a wider range.
Starting point is 00:18:19 Dang. Just a wider range. But time marches on, guys. Not make me feel good at all. We're marching on with it. Now we have people's kids come up to us and be like, yeah, yeah. My mom always loved you. You're like, dang.
Starting point is 00:18:30 You're like, your age just come to be like, I love you. Getting older, guys. Very honored to bring on Yvonne again. Yvonne, how are you? We're doing well, Bobby. How are you? Pretty good. I want to just catch my audience up real quick. So we brought on Yvonne and she is the wife to Officer Anthony Thompson. Now let me give you a quick recap of Anthony.
Starting point is 00:18:52 So Anthony's been on the show because we're trying to rebuild the inside of his house. He was injured. He was in 2007. He was deployed. He was in Iraq. Standing post at a bridge. The bridge was struck by an IED. It was detonated.
Starting point is 00:19:04 and all eight men that were on the bridge were thrown in different directions. Anthony was thrown 25 feet in the air and he fell even further than that down, landed on a concrete pile of rubble. Severe injuries. Spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury. He is confined to a wheelchair and is non-communicative. And so we heard his story. We talked to our audience about it and we said,
Starting point is 00:19:27 hey, would you guys mind stepping up to our audience? We said, would you mind stepping up? Because what we want to do for this Purple Heart recipient, someone who has given so much of his life to us. We want to make sure that at least he can live his day-to-day life a little more comfortable because he is in a wheelchair. And I'll tell you, with Yvonne and, you know, with Anthony, they have such a positive attitude.
Starting point is 00:19:46 With their son, we were moved at how the conversation went and how you got your outlook is on life. And I tell you right now that as we've sold these shirts, we're almost at $100,000. Oh, my God. Are you kidding me? Wouldn't that be the worst joke ever? I brought her on and I was like, yes, I'm kidding, Avon. We're at nine grand. Yeah, I'm not kidding. And
Starting point is 00:20:10 we're almost at $100,000. And that was our goal. So let me say this to our listeners before I get back on with Avon here is that this is our goal as a show. You know, it's to be funny sometimes. It's to be compelling, make you feel, but it's really to help. And you guys are the biggest part of that. So today, it's the last day, today and early tomorrow that you can actually get in to help us do this. So go to bobbybones.com because I think if you get it, you still get your shirt in time for July 4th. Yeah, so it's our patriotic Pimp and Joy line. And we've done this several years in a row for different heroes through building homes for heroes. And we're just honored to come alongside.
Starting point is 00:20:45 And yeah, you get a Pimpinjoy, red, white, and blue, something. You pick the shirt you want out of the hat, whatever. And it's going to 100% of the proceeds go to Yvonne and her family. Hey, Vaughn, how much will this actually help you guys, really? I can't even, like, I can't even begin to tell you what a huge, like, help and just relief it would be for us financially to be able to make this house even more comfortable and more welcoming and more everything for Anthony and our family. I'm flabbergasted. I really am. I have, I rarely am without words. Well, we'll take that, the listeners will take that as a compliment because it's our honor to help you. And so we're almost at 100,000.
Starting point is 00:21:32 I encourage you guys to go to bobby bones.com. If I could ask you a question, because, you know, we spent some time with Anthony last time. And, again, he's in a wheelchair. He's non-communicative. How do you communicate with him? So he's gotten pretty good at eye blinks for yes, no, over the years with lots of work, right, babe? Yes. With lots of work, lots of practice.
Starting point is 00:21:54 he gets pretty good at one blink for yes and two for no. So I base that on, you know, for everyday little trivial questions. You know, Anthony, do you want to watch this movie or do you want to listen to a podcast or, you know, whatever the case may be, yes, no blinks work pretty well. As far as his health and well-being, I have learned and have become pretty good at reading his body language along with, of course, his vitals and everything. but just looking at his face and his facial expressions or his body language, I can tell if he's in pain or uncomfortable or bored, really.
Starting point is 00:22:31 Pretty much anything, he's very expressive with his body language and facial expressions. Well, I hope that, you know, you guys are excited because we are so excited to be able to do this for you guys as a show. And when I say as a show, I don't mean just people in the room, but it's people in the room and the people that listen to us every day because, you know, they really lift us up, so hopefully we can do the same for you. So we're so close to $100,000 bucks today and tomorrow is the last day you can get your Pimp and Joy stuff. And Amy, if you could give us
Starting point is 00:22:58 the 30 second version of what Pimp and Joy is. Well, it started just quickly the roots with my mom when she was diagnosed with cancer. We made her a Twitter handle and it was Judy B Pimp and Joy. And from that, Bobby was like, hey, let's do a hashtag Pimp and Joy and listeners can share with us ways
Starting point is 00:23:13 they're spreading joy to others. And that's what my mom did at the hospital. Like she was facing adversity, but she wanted to spread joy to others. and her motto was choose joy for herself, and the joy of the Lord is my strength was what she said to herself over and over to give her that strength to spread joy to others.
Starting point is 00:23:29 And then from that, we did a hat, and the hat sold out, and then we did a shirt to fundraise for where my kids lived at the orphanage in Haiti. Those sold out, and then we thought, wow, we have something here. So often we do different campaigns, and right now it's for Navy Petty Officer,
Starting point is 00:23:45 second class, Anthony Thompson, and his family, and this is just amazing. So when you're buying something Pimp and Joy, all proceeds are going to whatever cause. And the cause right now is to help refit their home. Well, thank you, Yvonne. I can't wait to talk to you one final time. And we'll get you this and we'll get it rebuilt. And hopefully you guys will have a more comfortable life.
Starting point is 00:24:02 And we're just so honored that you would let us do this for you because of what, you know, Anthony has done for us. I think I can speak for the both of us. We are truly, truly thankful and honored and just appreciative of everything that you, Bobby, and your entire staff there. everybody across the nation that listens. Just thank you. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so very much. You're very welcome. We'll talk to you soon and have a good rest of the week.
Starting point is 00:24:29 All right, Yvonne? You've just topped our week off. I mean, it doesn't get any better than this. So thank you. Thank you, Yvonne. Talk to you soon. All right, take care. All right, bye-bye.
Starting point is 00:24:38 All right, so let's do it. Bobbybones.com. We'll put that up now if you guys want to go be a part of that. Great job so far. We're almost there. A voicemail from Nicole in Nashville. I heard you guys talking about food and how long you can eat it after it's expired. And I heard Amy say that you can just cut mold off of cheese and bread and it's totally fine.
Starting point is 00:25:00 I'm a nutritionist and actually it's not okay. The mold that you can see goes all the way through and runs through it and there's invisible particles that go through the bread and the cheese. So the visible part is like the iceberg. It's just the surface. Thanks. Love you guys. Dang. You may have killed a listener or two.
Starting point is 00:25:20 Wow. Just putting it out there. To apologize. What would you like to say? Yeah. This is my official apology to America. I blame the article I read about it, and I will no longer do that. Okay.
Starting point is 00:25:33 Take some personal responsibility, not for the article. But how else would I have gotten the knowledge? I guess I should have fact checked with a nutritionist. You should have eaten some moldy cheese yourself and then told us. I don't know, but I've grown up hearing that. Maybe it's just how our parents grew up. Holly in Oklahoma left this voicemail. I'm sorry so many people
Starting point is 00:25:49 gonna understand what you've said a lot of times about the book. You're awesome for signing all of those stickers that go in the book. I got mine. I got the book. I put it in there. It looks so cute. I love it. Thank you so much for letting your hand hurt for doing that for us. You're the best.
Starting point is 00:26:06 Thanks, Holly. Yeah, that's been a frustrating part of my life right now where I said, hey, I'm going to sign all these books. And so I've signed all this art that goes in the book and I, where's my sign book? well, I have signed 13,000 of them and we're mailing them out for ourselves. There's no machine that's mailing them.
Starting point is 00:26:21 So people are like, okay. Anyway, I didn't have to do it. It's just like, hey, if you pre-ordered, I'm happy to do it. We're going to do the pre-order anyway. And it's a issue because I'm constantly getting messages. I hate you. They give me one-star reviews on Amazon. I'm like, I love the book.
Starting point is 00:26:36 He didn't sign it. It's like a one-star, and that affects stuff, you know? So, but my kid's book is up. I'm not, here's the worst part. We're not making any money off of it. Like, I'm not keeping it. For the first year, which is pretty much when you make any money off a book, I'm donating all the money to the organization that we got Eller from, our dog. And so it's just like, I don't know, no good deed goes unpunished, is that they say?
Starting point is 00:26:58 Yeah. So that's the deal. You can get it, though, if you want on Amazon or wherever you get your book. It's called Stanley the Dog, the first day at school. And it's a great kid's book because it tells kids it's not so important to fit in. You don't have to fit in. Be yourself. Yourself is amazing.
Starting point is 00:27:13 Unless you're me. and be able to understand why you sign the books and then they want to kill you. Sadie in Pittsburgh, let's go. One more. So what do you get when you cross a mad sheep with a mad cow? Two animals in a bad mood.
Starting point is 00:27:32 Thanks, love you guys. Mad sheep. Okay, that's just worse. You could cross the sheep with anything. Yeah. Any other animal. In a bad mood. Oh, the cow's the moo.
Starting point is 00:27:42 Yeah. There we go. Got it. Oh, she definitely didn't sell that. No. The delivery was not there. Yeah, she did the move. Yeah, do some work on that. Sadie Colts back.
Starting point is 00:27:49 Whoa. Here's Amy's pile of stories. Parents, if your kids are on Instagram, you need to be checking who they're talking to because there's these people that are selling like cereal bar treats, Rice Krispy Treats, Captain Crunch treats, but they're laced with stuff. And how they found out about this was a kid ate one at school, didn't know he was eating a laced rice Krispy treat. What's the account name?
Starting point is 00:28:14 Well, it was top two treats. And then he got busted, and then he changed his account name to top treats four. Okay, a little different. They still found him again. But it's happening to a lot of kids, and they feel like they're buying certain things, and then kids are reselling them at school and not saying, hey, by the way, these are laced with stuff. And then kids are getting sick. With what, though?
Starting point is 00:28:37 It also matters with their laced with. Oh, T-HC. Okay, so like weed, basically. Wow. You know, not for me. If I got a lot of friends, I'd like to find up, oh, hot treats 63 or whatever. He's poor now. Just have this talk with your kids.
Starting point is 00:28:50 They don't need to buy snacks from strangers. They shouldn't buy anything off the internet anyway without permission. Exactly. And something else, just speaking of parents in talks, I saw that, like, a quarter of parents do not plan on having the talk with their kids. I never had that. So that's another talk to have. That's why I thought it came out of the belly button, no, like 12. I never had the talk.
Starting point is 00:29:08 Yeah. It was just, I guess you learned at school. Which is not the way to learn. So go get them, champ. I was surprised it was that low, only a quarter. So in the parents in the room, you plan on, we've had, we're talking. Already done it for my 14-year-olds. Yeah, my 3-year-old knows.
Starting point is 00:29:23 They say, listen, listen, there's ways you can start. I don't even got to tell him. Genetically, he just understands. You can actually start at 3 with certain conversations about body parts and different things. Just being honest. So Yellowstone, the prequel, not the 8. 1883 one, but the one that was supposed to be in 1932. Oh, so it's a...
Starting point is 00:29:45 So it's a post-prequel. It's in the middle of both? It's a prequel of the big one. It's like the meat of the sandwich. Yeah, there you go. Okay. They're a good way to describe it. The meat. Harrison Ford's in it. Helen Mirren, supposed to be amazing. They were going to call it 1932, but they just had to change the name to 1923 because they wanted it to be set in the Great Depression and Prohibition, and they realized that, whoopsie, Montana. was one of the first states to repeal prohibition,
Starting point is 00:30:14 so it wouldn't have fit the timeline. This feels like CSI now. There's CSI Miami, CSI, Juneau, Alaska. Vegas, I Maine. Now it's like 1923. You're watching 1925 or you're watching 27? Which series you're watching? It's just a little much, huh?
Starting point is 00:30:26 A little much, but I think I'm definitely going to dabble. Let me check it out and see what it's like. Loretta Lynn and Jake Owens, former mansion is listed for $2.1 million in case lunchbox wants to call and get it, maybe. I saw, because they didn't live in it together, and Jake still doesn't live in it. Just let's get all this period.
Starting point is 00:30:42 It wasn't when they were dating or anything. She sold it to him and then he sold it. I don't even know that she sold it to him for sure. I think they've just both owned it. Oh, I feel like I read that she was the seller. She handed on the keys. She put the sign out front and was like, here you go. Maybe so, but I feel like Jake bought that house.
Starting point is 00:31:02 I don't know that he bought it right under her. Okay, it says here, Lynn sold the house to Owen in 2012. And then she currently still lives in a house in the same. Same area. She's one of the squatter stories. Like, they can't get her out. You got to buy the house for Loretta Linn in the bottom.
Starting point is 00:31:16 Jake sold it in 2017 to someone, and that's when he moved out to some land and lived in a tiny house while he was building his other house. But anyway, it's up for sale, and two famous people live there. It's 2.1 million in case anybody's interested. Okay, trivia time. Loretta Lins' sister is,
Starting point is 00:31:32 don't say it, Eddie, if you know you. I'm out. Loretta's sister is... Oh, got it. Okay. Reva McIntyre. Wow, how did you know that? That's just my country knowledge
Starting point is 00:31:42 Wow Really good Swing and a miss Amy? Did they I'm trying to think of if there Loretta Lynn's sister Is it a Lynn?
Starting point is 00:31:50 I don't know Not a Lynn Famous but not a Lynn I know who her granddaughter is Not doing that We're going Loretta Lynn's sister Howlkeeper Taylor Lynn
Starting point is 00:31:57 Who's her granddaughter Taylor She was in Stealing Angels With Caroline Hobby Okay yeah I didn't I don't know that is But okay Ray
Starting point is 00:32:05 Martina McBride Eddie Crystal Gale Correct Nice job Oh She had lots of sisters, though. Fascinating. I didn't know that.
Starting point is 00:32:13 Crystal Gale, Taylor, the whole crew. All of them. All of them. All right. Is that it, Amy? I am. Yes. You are. Yes, he is. Okay. I'm Amy. That's my pile. That was Amy's pile of stories. It's time for the good news. With Bobby.
Starting point is 00:32:27 Tell me something good. Massive fundraising effort by the town, and they absolutely didn't have to do this. But there's this woman named Linda in Minneapolis, and she lived in this house for 20 years. And so she had signed inside of her mortgage agreement. And listen, I don't know what I signed in those. Honestly. I have no idea. Who does?
Starting point is 00:32:47 I just take a pen and sign. I trust other people. Yeah. And so this happened. And she had signed a deal that was not good for her to be there long term. And the landlord was like, you got to get out of here. So she was renting it when she signed the papers. I guess that's not mortgage.
Starting point is 00:33:01 It's a leasing agreement. And so the landlord's like, I got to sell the house. You need to move. $299,000 is what they listed it for. So the neighbors heard about it Over 400 people from the community got together Begged the landlord don't sell it yet Give us time
Starting point is 00:33:15 They then, because of the fundraising effort Which is a block party Social media fundraiser An art show with some of the paintings that she had made They got enough donations for to buy the house Wow That is a massive amount of money That's crazy
Starting point is 00:33:27 That's so cool And then she flipped it and sold it for double And got out of town Really? That'd be funny huh She got right out of town All the neighbors would be like What wait wait wait No that's awesome
Starting point is 00:33:37 I can't believe they made $250,000 by doing all of that. Great job to that town. Linda, I hope you feel loved because obviously you are. That is what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good. All right. If you have ever dealt with a traditional home security company, you know the drill.
