I'm going to start the show this morning giving you guys a chance to win some money in studio. Yes. So let me say morning studio. Morning. Welcome to Wednesday's show.
Starting point is 00:03:08 Was it dinner? Last night, me, Caitlin, a friend, I saw a celebrity at dinner. Like big celebrity? Big to you? Because, I mean, we see a lot of celebrities in Nashville. Yeah. So, and we see a lot of celebrities in studio? Yes.
Starting point is 00:03:25 I am pretty jaded when it comes to famous people because I get to meet or know them. And either they're just normal people or they're kind of turds. And most of that shine is off for me. The celebrity shine. Like, so just know, it's tough for me to be affected by celebrity. But I'm sitting at dinner. We're in the middle of a conversation. There's three of us.
Starting point is 00:03:50 And I go, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. And I start pointing. And I didn't mean to react that way, but I freaked out. And my friend thought I was having, like something was happening physically with me. You thought something was wrong. You were that freaked out. It was that freaked out. I feel like it's got to be like a...
Starting point is 00:04:04 Well, Caitlin said, I wouldn't share what you're going to think because you're going to compete for money. And if you give them an idea, you're... No, Amy, I know, Amy. It's like that one time he saw, um, Yacos Miernoff. The old comedian. And he freaked out and we were like, never heard of him. Yeah. Is it going to be like that?
Starting point is 00:04:20 I feel like it's... It was bigger. It was to where, again, physically, I went, oh! And I was pointing. That was pointing. I was pointing. To the celebrity? Yes, and I should...
Starting point is 00:04:32 Could the celebrity see you pointing? It should be pointing. Like lunchbox. Yeah. I didn't... So, saw a celebrity. freaked out. Caitlin said you've never seen me do that before.
Starting point is 00:04:43 My other friend thought physically something was happening to me. I didn't do it on purpose. And then I was kind of embarrassed. And I pulled back. So, can you name that celebrity? I'll give each of you one question. Okay. A yes or no question.
Starting point is 00:04:55 Good, good, good, good. And first question goes to... Eddie. Yeah, I already had a question. I rolled the dice. What was your question? Did anyone else at the table also react like that.
Starting point is 00:05:11 That's a great question. They didn't see this person. But once they did. No, because again, I'm dealing with two people. One, my wife, who cares even less about famous people. And I'll say the other person we were with is someone that would be considered famous. Okay. So they didn't care at all.
Starting point is 00:05:32 Okay. Okay. Well, hold on. Next one. I'm rolling the dice so you get the question. At any time you can yell in your... answer and if you jump and beat everybody you get it too. Um, lunchbox.
Starting point is 00:05:44 Is this person known from something they did at the University of Arkansas? Is that how you know them? Very narrow. It's very narrow. Yeah, but that's who Bobby would freak out. I would say. Okay, did they spend time at the University of Arkansas? That's a better question.
Starting point is 00:06:05 Okay. Yes. Ah! Okay, well, I'm clearly not going to know this. clearly not going to know this person. You're not going to know. Amy? You have a question?
Starting point is 00:06:20 But people also know them that know nothing about the university. People also know. Yeah. You have to know the university to know him. Oh, wow. Oh, wow. Oh, wow. Go ahead.
Starting point is 00:06:28 What, I know who this person is? No. Okay. Fun game. Fun game. Fun game. I was going to ask if it's someone that you have looked up to for a long time.
Starting point is 00:06:39 No. Yeah, then my answer's not there. Okay, what did you have, Amy? What was your first thought? I didn't really have a thought other than the category was that it's probably some obscure wrestler or something. Oh, that would have been, like, if I had seen Steen at the restaurant? Oh my God. Oh, I'd have been over.
Starting point is 00:06:55 It'd have been over. Morgan, who was your guest going to be? David Letterman. Oh, that would have been over over. Oh, yeah, I mean. That's like my hero. Well, I feel like that reaction would have... Oh, I'd have flipped.
Starting point is 00:07:05 He would have flipped the table. I'd have flipped. I'd have peed. It'd have been a whole situation. Eddie? Man, I just... That question that lunchbox asked is just threw a... me off. But before that, I was
Starting point is 00:07:17 going to go because I swear I saw him driving in the car the other day, and this guy's in town. This is crazy. Harry Stiles. He's here a lot, actually. Was it him? He was... One of my friends saw him running down at a golf course. Recently? I swear I saw him in a car the other day. You probably did. Crazy! He's here a lot. And he saw Taylor Swift in a car, too.
Starting point is 00:07:35 Yeah, I did. But I know you're right about... I don't know that you saw him in a car, but he's here a lot. Wow. Lunchbox, can you guess? Well, there's a lot of Arkansas people I could guess. Yeah, let's go, buddy. And I thought, you know, Jerry Jones. Amy would know him. I met Jerry Jones. He was awesome.
Starting point is 00:07:49 That's what I'm saying. Amy would know who that was. Dallas Cowboys owner, Jerry Jones. I'm going to go with your head football coach Sam Pittman. It's incorrect. Now, it was actually Houston Nut who was the head coach for like 10 years. That was my first guess. That was my first guy.
Starting point is 00:08:03 And I couldn't believe I saw him. He was the Arkansas head coach for almost 10 years. And I went, Oh, my God. And Ken's like, what's wrong with you? And my friend was like, are you okay? And the weird part was he was, he was, he was, he just walked by and we didn't have any food on the table
Starting point is 00:08:16 and I said, Coach Nott, how's it going? And he said, hey, man. And he did the thing where he's like, oh man, I don't want to get stopped. But he was nice, very nice. He goes, I said, hey, and I didn't know if there was a chance he knew who I was. So I was like, hey, how's it going on Bobby Bones?
Starting point is 00:08:30 And he was like, Bobby Bones? And I was like, okay, he has no idea. And he goes, where are you from? And he just like humored me for a second. And then he sat down to have dinner and he was literally sitting right eye contact right across from me. And it was awkward.
Starting point is 00:08:44 That is awkward. Because then I stopped him and it was a fan and I'm sitting right across from him. Because if you're going to geek out, you want it to be a second and then see you. Yeah, that's it. I didn't get a picture or anything. What do you have to dinner? What do you have to eat? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:08:56 I didn't see. I try not to look at him. What was he drinking? I was like looking everywhere but forward. Was he by himself? No, he was with a bunch of people, like six people. What do you tell the table after he leaves? Like, oh, guys, this is who he is.
Starting point is 00:09:09 I told him immediately. I went to point it. I was like, oh, there he is. Freaked out. Don't even care about like real celebrities. I should have won that $100. All right, there you go. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:09:18 Very unfulfilling, I know. But that's what happened at dinner last night. I saw a celebrity in my mind. He also works for CBS. He just college football. He's one of the main guys in studio. Oh, yeah. He currently works for CBS Sports as a studio analyst.
Starting point is 00:09:32 For college football. Yep. Okay. Cool. He also has the Houston Nut Rule named after him for the SEC where people can get 28 recruits instead of 25. Yeah, there you go. Oh, wow. Very cool.
Starting point is 00:09:46 Did all talk about that last night? We did not. I creeped him out and he didn't talk to me anymore. But what a rule? The nut rule. Okay, Amy has to turn it into that. It's time to open the mailbag. You send an email and we read it all the air.
Starting point is 00:10:01 It's something we call Bobby's Mailbag. Yeah. Good morning, Bobby Bones. In September, I'm getting married to the most wonderful of women. Her family is super close and everyone is pretty much still alive and kicking. However, on my side, both parents have passed, as well as all my grandparents. Coming off a wedding with you in a similar situation, what advice do you have? Thank you.
Starting point is 00:10:24 Orphoned in Nebraska. Wow, that is a sad way to sign that email. Here's the situation. Don't force anything that doesn't need to be forced and don't eliminate anything that needs to be eliminated because of who can and can't be there. Meaning, I did not have a mother's son dance because my mom is not alive. However, Caitlin did have a father-daughter dance. And I also didn't feel the need to go, well, if she's got that, I got to do this.
Starting point is 00:10:49 It is also your wedding, your rules. You could have her do a, you know, father, daughter, grandma, she can do everything and you can be like, you don't have family, I'm cool. Or you could dance with somebody in her family. I would just say do what makes you comfortable and don't press anything that's like, oh, we should have to do this because you're doing that, so I got to make it even. So that's what I would avoid. Otherwise, it's going to be awesome.
Starting point is 00:11:13 Your family may not be there, but like your family will be there. So don't put any pressure on yourself to do anything that doesn't feel normal and natural. Amy, what do you think? Well, and it's exciting because you're joining a new family, so you're no longer orphaned. And Caitlin said, hey, you can dance with my mom. And I was like, much I love your mom, that ain't that moment. Right. It's different.
Starting point is 00:11:34 That's right. But wouldn't you say in a way, like it's been cool to have Caitlin's family become your family. Yes, and so foreign at times where I'm like, I don't only know what, is this one? It just has been, I've been learning because I haven't had a family. I mean, forever, ever. And so, yes. And maybe it'll be a learning process for you too. But my advice for the wedding, don't worry about it.
Starting point is 00:11:58 I don't feel like you have to do anything that's tradition or you have to, you know, shoehorn in a tradition with somebody that you're not as comfortable with. Just do your own thing. Eddie, any advice? I mean, you see these stories of where somebody fills in. to walk down the aisle. You can always do that. If natural.
Starting point is 00:12:14 Don't feel like you have to, though. Yes. But other than that, I'm with you. Why force something? It's your wedding, your rules, do whatever you want. Hey, bring a poll out there. Go solo. That's funny.
Starting point is 00:12:23 A poll? I don't know. I don't know. No, I get it. I don't know. We've got your email and we've read it on the air. Now it's about to close. Bobby's mailback.
Starting point is 00:12:34 Yeah. Fair Harbor makes the world's most comfortable beachwear. They've replaced mesh lining with their incredibly soft, breeze knit, boxer brief liner. We're very grateful for that.
Starting point is 00:12:57 Shelby, good morning. Good morning. How are you, Bobby? Doing pretty good. I got a question for you. Do you have a Sonic anywhere near where you live? Yes, I do. Okay, here's what I'm going to do.
Starting point is 00:13:06 I'm going to give Shelby a chance here to win a $50 gift card to Sonic. Shelby, we're going to play the Bobby feud. All you have to do is pick the winner. Who you think's going to win? Amy, Lunchbox, or Eddie, the category is name a famous person named Chris. So they're thinking about that. Who would you like to represent you, Shelby?
Starting point is 00:13:25 And if they win, you win. I'm going to go with Amy. She's going to go with Amy. Here we go. Let's roll the dice. Amy won. Lunchbox 2, Eddie 3. Here we go. The number is 4.
Starting point is 00:13:37 Amy, you're back at 1. Here we go. Amy. Yes. Name a famous Chris. There are 10 answers on the board. Over 2,000 Americans asked, Name a famous Chris.
Starting point is 00:13:50 What did they say? Hemsworth. Show me Chris Hemsworth. Good one. Good one. That's at number three. You get three points. And for those asking,
Starting point is 00:14:03 hey, why don't you give the number one answer the most points? Well, because it's the easiest to get. So we give it one point. All the way down to 10 points for the number 10. Amy? Man, I'm trying to get the 9, the 10, the 10-pointer. Go ahead.
Starting point is 00:14:17 Chris Cringle? That's what I had. Show me Mr. Clause. A famous. What? I had that, Amy. I was being dramatic for sake, and Ray ran me out of the room. That was so sad.
Starting point is 00:14:31 All right, lunchbox. Name a famous Chris. Man, I don't know when this was taken, but, I mean, I love this Chris. Chris Rock. Show me Chris Rock. Wow, that's good one. Number one answer. Whoa, okay.
Starting point is 00:14:44 Well, this is the most dramatic Bobby Feud ever. Give me Chris Harrison. Chris Harrison from... The Bachelor. Oh, that's who he's from. Oh, wow. Show me from The Bachelor. The host, Chris Harrison.
Starting point is 00:14:58 What? You mind me to check the list again, Ray? We're good. I see it, too. That's crazy. Eddie, there are eight Chris's left on the board. I got a very famous Chris here Chris Columbus He's just an awful person
Starting point is 00:15:14 That's a terrible thing Like kill people like murderer We didn't say anything about that We just want a famous one right Also so Christopher works Yeah his name's Chris Yeah Chris Christopher sure Okay well
Starting point is 00:15:25 Chris Columbus He never even came to America He landed in probably Haiti And claimed America You're probably right about that And took slaves And he's an awful dude Show me
Starting point is 00:15:36 I'm all happy back to announce Show me Christopher Colomboos! What? All right, round one is complete. There are three rounds, Amy. Thing, because the other one I have here, he's a pretty awful dude, too. Shoot, this is a poll. Who did this poll?
Starting point is 00:15:53 2,000 Americans were asked to name a famous Chris. Like, our Americans? Oh, my gosh. Sometimes we poll our Facebook people. No. No, the Americans over in Spain. I meant, like, listeners of the show, because that would determine. I mean, this dude sucks.
Starting point is 00:16:09 but Chris Brown. Show me Chris Brown. Where was the whole speech on how bad he is? Why just did the whole thing on that? Technically, Chris Brown hasn't murdered anybody. And I wouldn't say Chris Brown is near as bad as Christopher Columbus. Yeah, well, we were here when he did his thing. Chris Brown at number eight.
Starting point is 00:16:24 Wow, well, his music still gets played. All right. Aki-dokey. Amy's got now 11 points. Give me Chris Christopherson. Huh? Chris Christopherson? Chris Christofferson.
Starting point is 00:16:41 Yeah. I sound like you don't want to commit to how to say his last name. I have written down. Give me Chris Gnosson. Who is that? Interesting. Yeah, one of the highway. Actor.
Starting point is 00:16:56 Oh. Yeah. All the above. Got it. Got it. Just came to me. Well, you're up. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:03 Christopher. Pratt. Show me. Show me Christopher. What do you say Christopher Pratt? I don't know. Show me Chris Pratt. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:09 That's so good. Just popped in my head. Number four. Yeah. Good, good. Boom, boom, boom. Now you're in trouble. Let's fuck you up.
Starting point is 00:17:14 Go ahead. Guys, come on. Christopher Walkin. Show me Christopher Wagon. Yeah. What? Who? Number six.
Starting point is 00:17:22 Woo. We're going to need more Calbo? Who's that again? An actor. It sounds like this. Yeah. Pretty good. Oh, guys.
Starting point is 00:17:31 Come on. Hey, give me. It's still you. Yeah. Chris. Kirk. Patrick. Inc.
Starting point is 00:17:36 Yeah. No. In again, In Z? I have no idea. Probably not. All right. I think he was just on. celebrity big brother.
Starting point is 00:17:42 Give me. Any? Stop pointing it. No offense. We know him. I don't know who he is. It just bottomed my head. That name.
Starting point is 00:17:47 Give me Chris Giladrick. Hang. In sync, guys. All right, Eddie, you're the last one around two. Bones. Give me Chris Martin. From. Coldplay.
Starting point is 00:17:57 How do you guys feel about that? I feel like that's a good band. Yeah. I feel like that's a good one. People listen to him. Give me the lead singer of Coldplay, Chris Martin. Let's go.
Starting point is 00:18:08 Number five. Okay. So, there are. There are only four answers left on the board. Number one was Chris Rock. Number three was Chris Hemsworth. Number four was Chris Pratt. Chris Martin at five.
Starting point is 00:18:19 Christopher Walkin at six. Chris Brown at eight. Name a famous Chris. Eddie, you need some more points? All right. Give me... From Winnie the Pooh, Chris Robin. Like Christopher Robin?
Starting point is 00:18:35 Christopher Robin. Okay. Show him from Wendy the Pooh, the character. Christopher Robin. Oh. One more round. The number two answer is sitting there. Yeah, I don't understand that.
Starting point is 00:18:49 The number two answer is sitting there. And Amy, you have a tie for the lead here. And you are representing Shelby. Chris. So there are four answers on the board. Name of fame is Chris. Do you have anybody written down? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:03 Okay. But I just don't think that they're number two. Is that the only one left? Two, seven, nine, and ten. Oh. He just said that. That's almost a penalty. Sorry, sorry.
Starting point is 00:19:11 That's almost a penalty. Because I'm looking at my list and trying to focus on Christopher's. Go ahead. Christopher. Chris. I mean, I don't know. Maybe he's... Chris Stapleton.
Starting point is 00:19:24 Chris Stapleton. Wow, that's really good. That's really good. Show me. Chris Stapleton. Oh, Amy, I thought you had that. Dang it. He did come in at 14, but we only go top 10.
Starting point is 00:19:41 No. Lunchbox. You can, well, you can pretty much win this thing If you get a couple answers here Yeah, guys, come on Mr. Pine, Chris Pine, don't know who that is, that name just pot to my head right now. Chris Pine, Star Trek.
Starting point is 00:19:55 Yeah, that's, I just pot to my head. Chris Pine. Who is, hey. Because I don't even have written down it just ponded to my head. I have no idea who that is. He wrote down Chris. That's all I wrote is Chris. For nine.
Starting point is 00:20:08 Yes! Oh, dang! What? Chris Pine. No idea of that. is. All right. Lunchbox is going to cry now.
Starting point is 00:20:17 I never thought of that. Go ahead, Lunchbox. If you get one, there's two, seven and ten left, you get one of the seven or ten you win.
Starting point is 00:20:23 Any other chance, but. Yeah. Chris. Chris. Christmas. Oh. Chris.
Starting point is 00:20:39 Cross. The hip-hop group. Oh, is that a group? That's not a kid. Well, Christopher Cross did sailing. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:46 Chris Cross was the hip. hip-hop group, which would you like? Warm it up, Chris. I'll warm it up, Chris. I'll take the hip-hop group. All right, show me Chris Cross. I would have given you both of those in that? Yeah, I know.
Starting point is 00:20:57 I didn't. I drew a blank. Eddie, so Lunchbox is going to win if you don't score 16 points. I still don't have a chance. No, you've won all three rounds. Boo. You've gone all three rounds. Eddie, you need 16 points. So you've got to get at least two of them. I'm between two.
Starting point is 00:21:13 Go ahead. Am I the last one here? If I don't get it, Lunchbox wins. Talk him out. Uh, one's an athlete. And I don't know if... Ooh, athletes. If he's famous enough to be in this list. Then I have a guy who's kind of named Chris, but it's another name that could be Chris.
Starting point is 00:21:30 Well, just say them because no one's going to steal it from you. Christian Bale. Chris Jain. No. Or Chris Paul, the basketball player. Okay, neither. Bals are famous. State farm commercials.
Starting point is 00:21:42 Oh, man, that's good. Are those the two that you're between? I mean, I have Chris Lane and Chris Young, but they're, they're not. not it. Okay. I had Chris Jansen, but... Give me Christian Bell. That's not even Christian. That's not even Chris. It's not even a Chris. How is that not Chris? I'm so glad you went with that. Just for fun. Can I say some money?
Starting point is 00:22:04 Chris Jenner? No. The number two is Chris Evans. Who? Oh, man. Captain America. That's America. Number seven is Chris Farley. Oh, rest of peace, man. Number 10 is Christopher Reeves. Shelby, I know you're here, but you did not win. I'm very sorry. Oh, Shelby.
Starting point is 00:22:24 That's okay. Amy, so they're good. I know you were hungry, but guess what? You can't eat. She's so rude. Because she didn't pick me. I mean, why would you not pick me? Shelby, is there anything you'd like to say or any question you'd like to ask before we go?
Starting point is 00:22:38 Yeah, I just wanted to say something about through the Steve and the softball thing. That's okay. Yeah, go ahead. So I know once Fox said he couldn't do it But I was going to say If they're playing on a softball field It's only about 200 to the left field and right field line
Starting point is 00:22:56 But if they're playing on a like a regular baseball field It's about 300 down the line And probably about 325, 350 It won't be a regular baseball field No he said 300 He said he hit over 300 foot field Yeah 300 feet That's how he said it far he hit every time
Starting point is 00:23:11 Kids baseball field That's what we said and he goes no where the big boys play. That's what he said. With a softball? Yes, that's what he said. I don't know the distance. He can hit a softball at 300 feet.
Starting point is 00:23:20 What? I don't know the exact distance. I just know that we played at a field. It was where Little League is, but it's the bigger Little League kids, the 18-year-old kids. It's that back. That's a baseball.
Starting point is 00:23:29 High school's a baseball, baseball field. Yeah, okay. There's no way you can do that. All right. Shelby, thank you for calling. Thank you. All right. Bye-bye.
Starting point is 00:23:38 Okay. Well, lunchbox, here's your song. Woo! All that do is we need. We need. No matter. Merry Christmas! And they stay there!
Starting point is 00:23:53 And they stay there! Fine! There he is. Okay. Christian. What a terrible. Christian bail, no. Introducing the first ever Hyundai Ionic 5.

I was just wondering if your speech in Arkansas and then your award ceremony, will it be broadcast live or recorded and played on your website?
Starting point is 00:28:48 That's interesting. I don't know. Yesterday's show, it was announced that I'm getting an honorary doctor at the University of Arkansas, which I'm super pumped about, and I will be speaking at graduation for, not the full hour or anything. Just got a little something there. And I do not know if it will be broadcast, but I'll find out and let people know. Well, I would say these days most commencement speeches are on YouTube.
Starting point is 00:29:09 I'm not the main commencement speaker, though. He's the honorary doctorate speaker. From what I've been told, they're only honoring one person with an honorary doctorate this year. And then you'll just speak on behalf of that. And then I talk for five to ten minutes. Oh, well, load it up. Somebody can record it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:24 So, yeah, if so, we will definitely let you know. I appreciate your calling. Thank you for your positivity. All right, bye-bye. Bye-bye. It's time for the good news. With Bobby. Tell me something good.
Starting point is 00:29:37 A Chihuahua in Florida named one word, Toby Keith was dubbed the world's oldest dog living right now at the age of 21 years and 66 days. So her name's Guy Celest she adopted the dog whenever Toby Keith the dog was just a few months old. By the way, Toby Keith, the artist is 60. Toby Keith, the chihuahua is 21. And right now at 21 years, 66 days, Guinness says
Starting point is 00:30:03 it's the oldest living dog. Not just chihuahua, but oldest living dog. By the way, chihuahuas usually live 12 to 18 years old. Eddie, I know you've had a few chihuahuas. three in my life. And they've all lived... 10, 11, maybe 12. All of those are younger than like the lower end of it. Just realize that.
Starting point is 00:30:19 It's not good. The oldest ever dog was Bluey, an Australian cattle dog. Bluey lived at 29 years old, which is wild. Although it was back in 1939, so I'm on the... I need to see some sort of fact. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. But anyway, Toby Keith the dog.
Starting point is 00:30:34 We should get Toby Keith the artist for a picture before one or both die. Well, the dog's probably going to have sooner. You never know. You never know. Tobey keeps living that road life. The artist. I hope they both live forever. That's Tell Me Something Good. That was Tell Me Something Good. You ever get behind a big rig and it says, how's my driving? Yeah. You saw that. Yes. Well, and I noticed it. I see it all the time, but I noticed this one in particular because this truck was driving crazy. Almost cut me off the road. So for a second, I thought about calling. But then I did it because I thought, oh, well, you know,
Starting point is 00:31:10 Probably just like a... They almost cut you off. Yeah, I promised it was their fault, not mine. I knew you would do that. Amy is notoriously a bad driver. Bobby just rolled his eyes for those of you that can see. So you were cut off and then you saw the number. I was cut off. And then I saw, how's my driving?
Starting point is 00:31:24 Question mark. Phone number. Next bed Amy loses, we should have to put one of those on her car. Oh. Yes. No. And it's the voicemail line and it's like, hey, if you're calling about... Oh, my goodness.
Starting point is 00:31:35 No, they won't know it's you. And then then, yeah, if you put 877-77, Bobby. No, no, you wouldn't say Bobby, you would just put the numbers. Yeah. But they'll... No. It'll work, bones.
Starting point is 00:31:47 Okay, well, the hot mail line can't say things for calling the Bobby Bone Show. The hot mail line. Okay, 2004. Oh, we got to come up with a different voice mail. Yeah, yeah, we could do that. Different voicemail. Hotline, that's what I meant. Next bet she loses.
Starting point is 00:31:59 We put something in our car and goes, how's my drive? You know that thing's going to be full of people going. You cut me off. This is great. You were doing your hair on the phone, on the draw driving. What? No. What if?
Starting point is 00:32:10 It's full of people. saying, Amy was so nice. Okay, sorry. This car. Okay, she's going to tell me able to call it. This car was so nice, she let me in. Or this car was so nice, she waved at me. So, I'm nice driver. You did not call the 18-wheeler and Tad alum.
Starting point is 00:32:23 I didn't, but it made me wonder, like, do people ever really call? And then, like, what is bad enough to make you want to call? I would imagine people call that if they get. Absolutely. It's the type of person more than it is, do people. Or it may not even be a truck with a, you know, how's my driving number. It could just be any car where you could just be any car where you call. I remember when I was a kid, my dad
Starting point is 00:32:42 saw a drunk driver, and he called 911 to say, and they were like straight up throwing beer cans out the window. And so my dad just said, hey, FYI, this is a Buick, da-da-da-da, if you see it, well, you know, and so that way they could find it. Lunchbox chased the drunk driver once. Yeah, I called 911 on a drunk
Starting point is 00:32:59 driver, and I followed, I was on 911 for 15 minutes, 15 to 17 minutes. Game of description had my flashers on and they came up and I said the car's in front of me. They said, stay behind him, stay behind him. stayed behind them? Did they? I thought they said leave him alone. No, no, they said leave a little distance. And then they came up and they said stop following.
Starting point is 00:33:16 No, no, that was the domestic view situation. That was another. Lexbox follows anybody. Yes, for any reason. Anyway, so the cops show up and they pull over the car next to me. They pulled over the wrong car. They didn't even pull over the drunk driver. Like, and the guy, the 911 operator's like, all right, they're pulling up right now and they hang up on me and they literally
Starting point is 00:33:34 pulled up and pulled over the wrong car. So after 17 minutes of 911. 15 to 17. Yeah. I'm going to go 17, I think it was longer. And they pull over the wrong car. And then another time is when I pulled up at the stop sign and that guy was yelling at the woman and she was getting, she was like, please, call in my license plate. And then he goes, you're going to take me home right now. And they get back in the car and I followed them. And we went through all through town out onto the highway and we were chasing them running stop signs, red lights. Who's we? My wife and kids. See, that's my point.
Starting point is 00:34:03 Running stop signs. With your kids in the car. And we were giving a play by play to 911 and then they finally said, all right, sir, we need you to back off. If a cop comes, it comes. And I'm like, no, we, why did they not come? We were on the 911 for 12 minutes. And they, where were the cops? Why were you on a stop time to do kids in the car?
Starting point is 00:34:22 I was trying to, I was giving play-by-play to 911. I had to be there for that woman. She was, she was in tears. Could you not stop at the stop sign and then go a little faster and catch you back up? Well, I mean, it was a four-way stop, so you got other cars and you get, you know, you would, you know what you're saying. I know what you're saying.
Starting point is 00:34:38 I think you did the right thing. Not calling? Yeah. If you'd just seen them hit somebody and then run, you probably would have called. Or like that one time I saw someone in 18-wheeler reading a book, that probably would be worth calling. Oh, yeah. Yeah. That was a long time ago, but I don't even know if they had a number on it.
Starting point is 00:34:53 You ever seen the bumper sticker that say, how's my driving? Call 1-800 eat. Oh, yeah. Dana is on the phone in Rogers, Arkansas. Let's talk to her right now. Dana, good morning. Welcome to the show. Good morning.
Starting point is 00:35:07 Good morning, studio. Morning. Morning. I'm just so excited to talk to you. We are going to see Garth this weekend. And when my daughter and her friends heard you were going to be there, they're more excited to see you than Garth Brooks. Well, they shouldn't be, and they should have their head checked,
Starting point is 00:35:21 because Garth is amazing, and we are just going to be a loser opening act. But we are going to be opening for Garth, and it is amazing. And we have a half-hour set, and I don't know when we start. I don't know when we end. I don't know when we do anything. But we will be playing. in front of Garth, in front of 80,000 people, and it'll be awesome, and I'm very excited.
Starting point is 00:35:42 So, yeah, we're just worried people won't know what we're doing. They won't know we're a comedy music group. They're going to be like, this is the stupidest songs ever heard. Yeah, we're going to have to explain everything. Right, Dana? No, we're just so excited. We know she went up to Colorado to see you and Eddie. We love the show.
Starting point is 00:35:58 We love the razor back. So when we heard you were coming, we were just, we were just so excited. Are you doing any, are you doing any signs, Any signing autographs or anything? Right now, I don't know when we're doing anything. I don't even know when we're going on stage. So right now, no. But that doesn't mean we're not.
Starting point is 00:36:16 But I just, I don't even know what I don't know how my sound check. I don't know anything. We just show up and we do our best job and we figure it out. Easy. But you got into a little argument.
Starting point is 00:41:06 Got into an argument about something that I should or shouldn't have done. Okay, go ahead. So I was at the airport and my flight got canceled. The woman in front of me talking to the ticket agent was a 73-year-old woman. And she told the lady, I'm traveling alone. I got nowhere to go. That means I have to spend the night at the airport. So I'm telling my wife this.
Starting point is 00:41:30 One of us said, I need to step up and offer this. this 73-year-old woman to come stay at my house for the night. The other person said, there is no chance I can ask this old woman to come to my house and spend the night. Which one? I already know who is. I know which side is this because he said it like that. He goes, ah, I said.
Starting point is 00:41:52 Okay. Okay. Well. No, I said I and I in both scenarios. Yeah, but the tone was weird. Yeah, it was weird. You got a little angrier and the other one. So, let me see if I'm.
Starting point is 00:42:04 just hearing this right. Your wife said you should have invited her home. I can't tell you. You said there's no chance this old whatever you said secondly and angrily. That's Bobby's guess. Okay, so lunchbox is 70 year a woman. What should he have done? What would you have done? Man, that would have been so nice. Yeah, figuring out a place
Starting point is 00:42:22 for her to stay. That sounds like super thoughtful. That's one of those things that would make the news. So you vote. Maybe he should have said, hey, lady. Yeah. Or don't you come back and stay with me at my house. Yeah. Well, if I'm the old lady, I ain't trust in that.
Starting point is 00:42:35 But okay, that's not the question here. Okay. Yeah. Eddie. Oh, I think it's a wonderful gesture to ask the old lady, hey, do you need a place to stay kind of my house? But there's no way I would ever do that. No chance.
Starting point is 00:42:47 Okay. What I would have done if I would have heard that. I wouldn't have asked her to stay at my house because I think she probably would think I was going to murder her. But I would have said, hey, you have nowhere to stay. Can I pay for you a hotel room here at the airport? I didn't think about that. Because I'm saying what I would have done.
Starting point is 00:43:07 If I heard that and I'm affected by that, that's what I would have said. I'm not going to act like I'm Mother Teresa. I'm not going to say, come home, I'll cook dinner. Yeah. But I would go, hey, is there any chance I can help you get a hotel room? But if I'm picking between the two, I just don't invite anybody back to the house. So I'm going to have to go with Team Lunchbox. Don't invite.
Starting point is 00:43:27 And I'm not sure that's what it is. Oh, it's for sure Team Lunchbox. Right, right. Yes. So now that we've picked. What happened? My wife was like, you should do the nice thing and invite her to spend the night at the house. You need to approach her and say, hey, look, you know, we have a spare bedroom.
Starting point is 00:43:44 And I said, she is not going to go home. I am not going to go up to this 73-year-old woman and say, hey, guess what? I'm just a guy. My family's not home, but you can come stay at my house. She's going to think, we, we, re-re, re-re. And then she's going to send a text to, like, her nephew who's going to then put out lunch, Foxx and the Bollybone show, tried to invite my grandma home and hook up with her.
Starting point is 00:44:07 Yes. Which we believe that. Or try to kill my grandmother. I don't know. But there was no way I was going to offer her to come spend the night at my house. And so she ended up spending the night on the chairs at the airport. But the airport didn't put her in hotel? No.
Starting point is 00:44:23 The airline didn't put her in hotel? Are you sure? Do you know that? I know for a fact because she was on my flight the next day and I heard her talking to someone saying she slept on the chairs at the gate until midnight, then they clear out the terminals, and she went down where the baggage claim is, and that she found a chair by an information desk. Well, that's sad.
Starting point is 00:44:41 That's really sad. No, no. And this is the bad part. No, I don't want the bad part. People kept waking her up asking her for information because she was by the information desk. Is this a joke? No, I swear. How did you know all of that?
Starting point is 00:44:53 I was sitting next to her waiting for the plane, and she was telling it to me. She was telling the lady next to her, everything that went down. And I was like, wow. And that's when my wife was like, see, you should feel bad. you didn't invite her to the house. I feel bad to you invite her to the house. But I wouldn't have, because I would have thought she would have thought I was trying to take advantage of her. But what a cool story if? What about the hotel? Yeah, if, what about the cool story if she tells her nephew Terry and Terry calls the cops? And all of a sudden TMZ's got a story about a radio guy. With a picture of lunchbox.
Starting point is 00:45:19 And then he's fried. If they see a picture of him, they know he's up to no good, even if he's not. Look at him. Oh, my gosh. Look at the dude. He's in the same hoodie every day. That doesn't yell mass murder. I don't know it does. But man, it was such a dilemma. I was like, I can't. I don't know. She seemed like a nice lady, like, perfect little grandma 73, but I was just like, eh, not going to come to my house. You never thought about saying, hey, can I help you get a hotel room? No, that never crossed my mind.
Starting point is 00:45:43 He seemed cheap for that. All right. She's okay, though. Yeah, she got on the plane and she flew down to Florida. The three things in order, I try to get her hotel. If I knew that I wasn't going to be called creepy or murder, I'd for sure have her at the house. You'd have to have the family there. No doubt.
Starting point is 00:46:00 I would do that. Not just you. And leave her third. I left her one. I know. I know you did. All right. Spring is here.

I'm 29 years old, so, you know, I don't know. Anyways, love this. Hey, at least you didn't apologize for thinking that. She's like, I'm sorry I think that. I like it. Wow, man, that's cool. It makes me feel real good today.
Starting point is 00:46:52 That's sexy, huh? Michael from Tallahassee, Florida. Here you go. I'm just calling in with a prediction for he's going to get the Hollywood part. Me and my girlfriend are convinced it's going to be Ray, and it's just going to be 12 lines of you! Later on this morning, we'll cut somebody else. One of you three, Ray, Eddie, or Amy, is going to get a part in a major movie on a major streaming service with real-life lines.
Starting point is 00:47:16 I didn't pick the person. The movie production asked me specifically for one person, so one of you three will get cut. I'm getting nervous. But one of you three will get the movie, too. So that's coming up. And finally, here is Tanya from Parrottesville, Tennessee. Hey, Bobby.
Starting point is 00:47:31 Morning Studio. My son has a morning corny for you. What's a musician's favorite vegetable? Beats. Love the show. I like his delivery. It's just like he did not care. What's a musician's favorite vegetable?
Starting point is 00:47:46 Beets. Okay, got to go. That's good. That's where it's at. Here's Amy's pile of stories. A person that works at Target has put customers on blast for leaving stuff in aisles where they don't belong. For example, this person, like, is on TikTok and she's got a lot of followers, so she likes to post about things. The headline should be a person that works at Target will probably not work
Starting point is 00:48:06 at Target anymore after this story goes viral. But it's not about anything Target's doing is about the customers and what they're doing is bad. Go ahead. So she's over in the bath bomb section and she sees two frozen pizzas just left on the floor there and she goes over to touch them and they're not even frozen anymore because who knows how long they've been left there and she said people think that I stage this stuff for my TikTok. She goes but I don't. This is real people doing this and it's basically as bad as stealing because you've taken something from the It's not as bad as stealing, but I get it. It's not stealing because they didn't take it for their own personal good.
Starting point is 00:48:38 They decided they couldn't afford it and then just too lazy to take it back. Or didn't want it. Or didn't want it. And then they don't take it. But if you don't take it back to the freezer and it's now gone bad, then it's useless. It's wasted. It's wasted. Okay, well, sorry.
Starting point is 00:48:52 The TikTok people were the ones that saying it was about as stealing. Yeah, as someone used to work in retail, that stinks because we'd go at the end of the night and have to do the sweep of the place and you go through all the shelves. You have to take it. It's unfortunate that people would do that. because it's just other people having to do that work. Right, and that's like frozen things that can go bad. But, yeah, I mean, I had to go through this lesson with my daughter at Target not too long ago. She had some, like, lip gloss, and then we were over in, like, the kitchen section.
Starting point is 00:49:16 She was like, I don't know if I'm going to buy this anymore. And she set it down next to a blender. And I'm like, eh, no, you take that back over to the beauty section. It's like she was stealing. Pretty much. Yeah, until her next time she's going to go to jail. So a flight attendant talk to insider.com and shared some ways that we can stop wasting money at the airport. First of all, stop buying bottled water when you're there. You're not allowed to take
Starting point is 00:49:38 water through security, but you can take an empty water bottle and then fill it up once you get to the other side. I didn't think about it. I don't know. I buy bottle water all the time. Because I was going to go, well, you can't have any water, but you can. But you can take it empty. And you save so much money because the bottled water is marked up, crazy expensive at the airport. Another thing to do is if you've got to travel with liquid that's over three ounces, but you don't want to have to check a bag, whatever the amount of water or liquid or whatever it is you need to bring through, freeze it. Because freezing things, frozen will be freezing. No way. Or what about this? If it's only three ounces for each, can you not break it up into three ounce things?
Starting point is 00:50:17 Oh, yes, I've done that before. I've taken like six tubes or something. And then when I get to where I'm going, I pour it all back in together. I feel like we're committing a crime on the air. I don't know why this feels shady, but it does. That's good too. Go ahead. You can freeze it. And then she also shared that some days have cheaper tickets than other. and the best days to buy tickets are Tuesdays and Wednesdays because prices tend to drop after and before the weekend. All right, what else you got? And then if you're traveling somewhere,
Starting point is 00:50:42 I just thought I'd throw this in there. Like, maybe you want to take a flight to Tampa because this guy has converted an Airbnb into a complete friend's knockoff. Like, it's like you're staying in the Friends apartment in New York, but you're in Tampa. And so if you're looking for a fun weekend, how fun would it be to stay in a friend's Airbnb?
Starting point is 00:51:02 Pretty smart if he's able to make that, Legit. Yeah. Because that's a little novel way to get people to stay in your place, especially if it didn't cost a whole lot. Yeah, he said he thinks people will appreciate all the work he's put into it, but he's not quite sure yet. And it's 263 a night. I don't know. It just depends where it is.
Starting point is 00:51:18 I don't know. I mean, that's expensive. 263 a night? Yeah. But if you got friends staying with you, split the bill. No, no, I know. But I'm saying if it's, well, it looks pretty good. It's not exactly it, but it looks pretty good.
Starting point is 00:51:28 I'm saying that if it's not near the water or if it's not, that's a lot. True. is everything. And then lastly, Keith Urban opened up about his sobriety, and he said that it wouldn't have happened without Nicole. He had several stints in rehab, but she offered so much support and encouragement. And the
Starting point is 00:51:46 cool part about being sober is he feels lucky that he's still able to write good music, because he wrote plenty of hit songs while he was drunk, but plenty while sober, and he feels lucky that it didn't define his creativity. All right. Love to hear that. I'm Amy. That's my pile. That was Amy's pile

Starting point is 00:52:24 So the daughter of a retired firefighter is making something super special for her dad, and it's a quilt full of T-shirts from different fire departments all across. the country. Because she just remembers about her dad when she was a little because he was a firefighter. Anytime they would visit any town, he would find a local fire department and go get a T-shirt. So he collected them. Well, she decided she wanted to make him a quilt. So she put on TikTok that she was looking for firefighter shirts from different departments.
Starting point is 00:52:50 And she has had over a hundred shirts sent to her, some from overseas. She has one from all 50 states. So now she's able to give her dad this special gift because people have been so generous sending her these shirts. That's a heck of a quilt. Yeah. Big one. Come up your whole living room. She might end up making a couple of different ones, but she said also it's cool because some people have included notes.
Starting point is 00:53:10 Even widows of firefighters have sent her things with sweet letters. And it's just a really cool way for her to honor her dad. How warm can that be, though, a t-shirt quilt? You got to, like, fold it probably four times. Yeah, because one layer would... It's just a t-shirt out of you. Yeah, they can, the inside layer, you can fill it with, like, a furry fabric. That's what I have on mine.
Starting point is 00:53:29 The inside, oh, you mean it's a different layer on front and back. Yeah, so a listener made me a quilt full of my dad's t-shirt. and I have all my dad's t-shirts on the outside, like different Pimp and Joy ones and whatnot that used to wear all the time. And she put on the inside layer the most comfortable furry fabric. I love it.
Starting point is 00:53:46 That makes more sense. Yeah. Than just T-shirts. Than just T-shirts. Yeah. All right, that's a good one. That's what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good.
