I'm going to start the show this morning giving you guys a chance to win some money in studio. Yes. So let me say morning studio. Morning.
Starting point is 00:03:07 Welcome to Wednesday's show. Was it dinner? Last night, me, Caitlin, a friend, I saw a celebrity at dinner. Like big celebrity? Big to you? Because, I mean, we see a lot of celebrities in Nashville. Yeah. So, and we see a lot of celebrities in studio?
Starting point is 00:03:24 Yes. I am pretty jaded when it comes to famous people because I get to meet or know them. And either they're just normal people or they're kind of turds. And most of that shine is off for me. The celebrity shine. Like, so just know, it's tough for me to be affected by celebrity. But I'm sitting at dinner. We're in the middle of a conversation.
Starting point is 00:03:49 There's three of us. And I go, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. And I start pointing. And I didn't mean to react that way, but I freaked out. And my friend thought I was having, like something was happening physically with me. You thought something was wrong. You were that freaked out. It was that freaked out.
Starting point is 00:04:03 I feel like it's got to be like a... Well, Caitlin said, I wouldn't share what you're going to think because you're going to compete for money. And if you give them an idea, you're... No, Amy, I know, Amy. It's like that one time he saw, um, Yacos Mirnov. The old comedian. And he freaked out and we were like, never heard of him.
Starting point is 00:04:19 Yeah. Is it going to be like that? I feel like it's... It was bigger. It was to where again physically, I went, oh! And I was pointing. That's pointing.
Starting point is 00:04:29 I was pointing. To the celebrity? Yes, and I should... Did the celebrity see pointing? It should be pointing. Like lunchbox. Yeah. I didn't...
Starting point is 00:04:36 So, saw a celebrity. freaked out. Caitlin said you've never seen me do that before. My other friend thought physically something was happening to me. I didn't do it on purpose. And then I was kind of embarrassed. And I pulled back. So, can you name that celebrity?
Starting point is 00:04:51 I'll give each of you one question. Okay. A yes or no question. Good, good, good, good. And first question goes to... Eddie. Yeah, I already had a question. I rolled the dice.
Starting point is 00:05:06 What was your question? Did anyone else at the table also react like that. That's a great question. They didn't see this person. But once they did? No, because again, I'm dealing with two people. One, my wife, who cares even less about famous people.
Starting point is 00:05:25 And I'll say the other person we were with is someone that would be considered famous. Okay. So they didn't care at all. Okay. Okay. Well, hold on. Next one. I'm rolling the dice so you get the question.
Starting point is 00:05:38 At any time you can yell in your... answer and if you jump and beat everybody you get it too. Um, lunchbox. Is this person known from something they did at the University of Arkansas? Is that how you know them? Very narrow. It's very narrow. Yeah, but that's who Bobby would freak out.
Starting point is 00:05:59 I would say. Okay, did they spend time at the University of Arkansas? That's a better question. Okay. Yes. Ah! Okay, well, I'm clearly not going to know this. clearly not gonna know this person.
Starting point is 00:06:14 You're not gonna know. Amy? You have a question? But people also know them that know nothing about the university. People also know. Yeah. You have to know the university to know.
Starting point is 00:06:26 Oh, wow. Oh, wow. Oh, wow. Go ahead. What, I know who this person is? No. Okay. Fun game. Fun game.
Starting point is 00:06:34 Fun game. I was gonna ask if it's someone that you have looked up to for a long time. No. Yeah, then my answer's not there. Okay, what did you have, Amy? What was your first thought?
Starting point is 00:06:45 I didn't really have a thought other than the category was that it's probably some obscure wrestler or something. Oh, that would have been, like, if I had seen Steen at the restaurant? Oh my God. Oh, I'd have been over. It'd have been over. Morgan, who was your guest going to be? David Letterman. Oh, that would have been over over.
Starting point is 00:07:01 That's like my hero. Well, I feel like that reaction would have... Oh, I'd have flipped. He would have flipped the table. I'd have flipped. I'd have peed. It'd have been a whole situation. Eddie?
Starting point is 00:07:11 Man, I just... That question that lunchbox asked is just threw a... me off. But before that, I was going to go because I swear I saw him driving in the car the other day, and this guy's in town. This is crazy. Harry Styles. He's here a lot, actually. Was it him? He was, one of my friends saw him running
Starting point is 00:07:28 down at a golf course. Recently? Yeah, running on the golf course. I swear I saw him in a car the other day. You probably did. Crazy! He's here a lot. And he saw Taylor Swift in a car, too. Yeah, I did. But you're, I know you're right about it. I don't know that you saw him in a car, but he's here a lot. Lunchbox, do you guess? Well, there's a lot of Arkansas people I could guess.
Starting point is 00:07:43 Yeah, let's go, buddy. And I thought, you know, Jerry Jones. Amy would know him. I met Jerry Jones. He was awesome. That's what I'm saying. Amy would know who that was. Dallas Cowboys owner, Jerry Jones.
Starting point is 00:07:52 I'm going to go with your head football coach Sam Pittman. It's incorrect. Now, it was actually Houston Nut who was the head coach for like 10 years. That was my first guess. That was my first guest. I couldn't believe I saw him. He was the Arkansas head coach for almost 10 years. And I went,
Starting point is 00:08:08 Oh, my God. And Ken's like, what's wrong with you? And my friend was like, are you okay? And the weird part was he was, he was, he was, He just walked by and we didn't have any food on the table. And I said, Coach Nott, how's it going? And he said, hey, man.
Starting point is 00:08:20 And he did the thing where he's like, oh, man, I don't want to get stopped. But he was nice. He was very nice. He goes, I said, hey, and I didn't know if there was a chance. He knew who I was. So I was like, hey, how's it going on Bobby Bones? And he was like, Bobby Bones? And I was like, okay, he has no idea.
Starting point is 00:08:34 And he goes, where are you from? And he just, like, humored me for a second. And then he sat down to have dinner and he was literally sitting right eye contact right across from me. And it was awkward. That is awkward. Because then I stopped him and it was a fan and I'm sitting right across from him. Because if you're going to geek out, you want it to be a second and then see you. Yeah, that's it.
Starting point is 00:08:52 I didn't get a picture or anything. What do you have to dinner? What do you have to eat? I don't know. I didn't see. I try not to look at him. What was he drinking? I don't know because I wasn't looking everywhere but forward.
Starting point is 00:09:01 Was he by himself? No, he was with a bunch of people, like six people. What do you tell the table after he leaves? Like, oh, guys, this is who he is. I told him immediately. I went to point it. I was like, oh, there he is. Freaked out.
Starting point is 00:09:12 Don't even care about like real celebrity. I should have won that $100. All right, there you go. Thank you. Very unfulfilling, I know. But that's what happened at dinner last night. I saw a celebrity in my mind. He also works for CBS.
Starting point is 00:09:24 He just college football. He's one of the main guys in studio. Oh, yeah. He currently works for CBS sports as a studio analyst. For college football. Yep. Okay. Cool.
Starting point is 00:09:35 He also has the Houston Nut Rule named after him for the SEC where he can get 20, people can get 28. recruits instead of 25. There you go. Oh, wow. Very cool. Did all talk about that last night?
Starting point is 00:09:47 We did not. I creeped him out and he didn't talk to me anymore. But what a rule? The nut rule. Okay, Amy has to turn it into that. It's time to open the mailbag. You send an email and we read it all the air. It's something we call Bobby's Mailbag.
Starting point is 00:10:04 Yeah. Good morning, Bobby Bones. In September, I'm getting married to the most wonderful of women. Her family is super close and everyone is pretty much. still alive and kicking. However, on my side, both parents have passed, as well as all my grandparents. Coming off a wedding with you in a similar situation, what advice do you have? Thank you. Orphoned in Nebraska. Well, that is a sad way to sign that to you know. Here's the situation. Don't force anything that doesn't need to be forced and don't eliminate anything that needs to be eliminated because of who
Starting point is 00:10:35 can and can't be there. Meaning, I did not have a mother's son dance because my mom is not alive. However, Caitlin did have a father-daughter dance. And I also didn't feel the need to go, well, if she's got that, I got to do this. It is also your wedding, your rules. You could have her do a, you know, father, daughter, grandma, she can do everything and you can be like, you don't have family, I'm cool. Or you could dance with somebody in her family.
Starting point is 00:11:02 I would just say do what makes you comfortable and don't press anything that's like, oh, we should have to do this because you're doing that, so I got to make it even. So that's what I would avoid. going to be awesome. Your family may not be there, but like your family will be there. So don't put any pressure on yourself to do anything that doesn't feel normal and natural. Amy, what do you think? Well, and it's exciting because you're joining a new family, so you're no longer orphaned. And Caitlin said, hey, you can dance with my mom. And I was like,
Starting point is 00:11:31 much I love your mom, that ain't that moment. Right. It's different. That's right. But wouldn't you say in a way, like it's been cool to have Caitlin's family become your family? Yes. And so foreign, at times where I'm like, I don't only know what, is this one? It just has been, I've been learning because I haven't had a family. I mean, forever, ever. And so, yes. And maybe it'll be a learning process for you too. But my advice for the wedding, don't worry about it.
Starting point is 00:11:58 I don't feel like you have to do anything that's tradition or you have to, you know, shoehorn in a tradition with somebody that you're not as comfortable with. Just do your own thing. Eddie, any advice? I mean, you see these stories of where somebody fills in to walk down the aisle. You know, you can always do that. That's kind of fun. If natural. Don't feel like you have to, though.
Starting point is 00:12:15 Yes. But other than that, I'm with you. Why force something? It's your wedding, your rules, do whatever you want. Hey, bring a poll out there. Go solo. That's funny. A poll?
Starting point is 00:12:24 I don't know. I don't know. No, I get it. I don't know. We've got your email and we've read it on your air. Now it's about to close. Bobby's mail back. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:36 On the phone is Shelby in North Carolina who is listening to the show. We're very grateful for that. Shelby, good morning. Good morning. How are you, Bobby? Doing pretty good. I got a question for you. Do you have a Sonic anywhere near where you live? Yes, I do. Okay, here's what I'm going to do. I'm going to give Shelby a chance here to win a $50 gift card to Sonic. Shelby, we're going to play the Bobby feud. All you have to do is pick the winner.
Starting point is 00:12:56 Who you think is going to win? Amy, Lunchbox, or Eddie. The category is, name a famous person named Chris. So they're thinking about that. Oh, man. Who would you like to represent you, Shelby? And if they win, you win. I'm going to go with Amy She's going to go with Amy Here we go Let's roll the dice
Starting point is 00:13:16 Amy one lunchbox two Eddie three Here we go The number is four Amy you're back at one Here we go Amy Yes
Starting point is 00:13:24 Name a famous Chris There are ten answers on the board Over 2,000 Americans asked Name a famous Chris What'd they say Hemsworth Show me Chris Hemsworth Good one
Starting point is 00:13:40 Good one. That's at number three. You get three points. Oh. And for those asking, hey, why don't you give the number one answer the most points? Well, because it's the easiest to get. So we give it one point, all the way down to ten points for the number ten. Amy?
Starting point is 00:13:56 Man, I'm trying to get the nine, the ten pointer. Go ahead. Chris Cringle? That's what I had. Show me Mr. Clause. A thing. What? What?
Starting point is 00:14:08 I had that, Amy. What? For sake and Ray ran me out of the room. That was so sad. All right, lunchbox. Name a famous Chris. Man, I don't know when this was taken, but I mean, I love this Chris. Chris Rock.
Starting point is 00:14:22 Show me Chris Rock. Wow, that's good, man. Number one answer. Whoa, okay. Well, this is the most dramatic Bobby Feud ever. Give me Chris Harrison. Chris Harrison from... The Bachelor.
Starting point is 00:14:35 Oh, that's who he's from. Oh, wow. Show me from The Bachelor. The host, Chris Harrison. What? You might me check the list again, Ray? We're good.
Starting point is 00:14:46 I see it, too. Yeah, that's crazy. Eddie, there are eight Chris's left on the board. I got a very famous Chris here. Chris Columbus. He's just an awful person. That's a terrible thing.
Starting point is 00:14:59 Like kill people, like murderer. We didn't say anything about that. We just won a famous one, right? Also, so Christopher works. Yeah. Yeah, his name's Chris. Yeah, Chris, Christopher, for sure. Okay, well.
Starting point is 00:15:09 Chris Columbus. Um, oh boy. He never even came to America. He landed in probably Haiti and claimed America. You're probably right about that. And took slaves. He's an awful dude. Show me!
Starting point is 00:15:20 I'm all happy. Back to that announcer. Show me Christopher Columbus! What? All right, round one is complete. There are three rounds, Amy. Thing, because the other one I have here, he's pretty awful dude, too. Shoot, this is a poll.
Starting point is 00:15:36 Who did this poll? 2,000 Americans were asked to name a famous Chris. Like, our Americans? Oh, my gosh. Sometimes we call our Facebook people. No. No, the Americans over in Spain. I met, like, listeners of the show, because that would determine, I mean, this dude sucks, but Chris Brown.
Starting point is 00:15:54 Show me Chris Brown. Where was the whole speech on how bad he is? Why just did a whole thing on that? Technically, Chris Brown hasn't murdered anybody. And I wouldn't say Chris Brown is near as bad Christopher Columbus. Yeah, well, we were here when he did his thing. Chris Brown at number eight. Yeah, well, his music still gets played.
Starting point is 00:16:10 All right. Aki dokey. Amy's got now 11 points. Give me Chris Christopherson. Huh? Chris Christopherson? Chris Christopherson.
Starting point is 00:16:25 Yeah. I sound like you don't want to commit to how to say his last name. I have a run down. Give me Chris Gnosson. Who is that? Give me Chris Christopherson. Interesting.
Starting point is 00:16:37 Yeah, one of the highways. Actor. Oh. Oh. Yeah, I'll be above. Got it. Got it. Just came to me.
Starting point is 00:16:46 Well, you're up. Yeah, Christopher Pratt. Show me, Chris Pratt. Show me Christopher. Why did you say Christopher Pratt? I don't know. Show me Chris Pratt. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:53 That's so good. That's just popped in my head. Number four. Yeah. Good, good. Now you're in trouble. No, no. Go ahead.
Starting point is 00:16:58 No. Guys, come on. Christopher walking. Show me Christopher Wagon. Yeah. What? Who? Number six.
Starting point is 00:17:06 Who? We're going to need more Calbo? Who's that again? An actor. It says like this. Yeah Pretty good Oh guys, come on, hey
Starting point is 00:17:15 Give me It's still you, yeah Chris, Kirk Patrick Insinct Yeah, no know Any in the end I have no idea

Starting point is 00:17:45 I feel like that's a good one. People listen to them. Give me the lead singer of Cole play Chris Martin. Let's go. Number five, number five. Okay, so there are, one, two. There are only four answers left on the board. Number one was Chris Rock.
Starting point is 00:17:58 Number three was Chris Hemsworth. Number four was Chris Pratt. Chris Martin at five. Christopher walking at six. Chris Brown at eight. Name a famous Chris. Eddie, you need some more points? All right.
Starting point is 00:18:13 Give me from Winnie the Pooh, Chris Robin. Like Christopher Robin? Christopher Robin. Okay, show him from Winnie the Pooh, the character. Christopher Robin. Oh! One more round.
Starting point is 00:18:29 The number two answer is sitting there. Yeah, I don't understand that. The number two answer is sitting there? And Amy, you have a tie for the lead here. And you are representing Shelby. Chris. Chris. So there are four answers on the board.
Starting point is 00:18:42 Name of Famous Chris. Do you have anybody written down? Yeah. But I just don't think that they're number two. Is that the only one left? 27, 9, and 10. Oh. He just said that.
Starting point is 00:18:54 That's almost the penalty. Sorry. It's not because I'm looking at my list and trying to focus on Christopher's. Go ahead. Christopher. Chris. I mean, I don't know. Maybe he's...
Starting point is 00:19:06 Chris Apleton. Chris Apleton. Wow, that's really good. That's really good. Show me Chris Stapleton Oh, Amy, I thought you had that. Dang it.
Starting point is 00:19:21 He did come in at 14, but we only go top 10. Lunchbox, you can, well, you can pretty much win this thing and get a couple of answers here. Yeah, guys, come on. Mr. Pine, Chris Pine.
Starting point is 00:19:34 Don't know who that is. That name just popped to my head right now. Chris Pine Star Trek. Yeah. Show me. Just pot to my head. Chris Pine. Who is?
Starting point is 00:19:46 Hey. Because I don't even have written down it. I just fond of my head. I have no idea who that is. He wrote down Chris. That's all I wrote is Chris. For nine. Yes!
Starting point is 00:19:53 Oh, dang. What? Chris fine. No idea who that is. All right. Lunchbox is going to cry now? I have never thought of that. Go ahead, lunchbox.
Starting point is 00:20:03 Chris. If you get one, there's two, seven, and ten left. You get one of the seven or ten you win. Yeah. Yeah. Um, Chris. Chris. Chris.
Starting point is 00:20:17 Christmas? Oh, Chris. The hip-hop group. Oh, is that a group? That's not a kid. Well, Christopher Cross did sailing. But Chris Cross was the hip-hop group. Which would you like?
Starting point is 00:20:32 Warm it up, Chris. I'm about to. I'll warm it up, Chris. I'll take the hip-hop group. All right, show me Chris Cross. I would have given you both of those in that? Yeah, I know. I didn't.
Starting point is 00:20:43 I had drew a blank. Eddie, so Lunchbox is going to win. And if you don't score, 16 points. I still don't have a chance. No, you've won all three rounds. Boo. You've gone all three rounds. Eddie.
Starting point is 00:20:52 Man. You need 16 points. So you've got to get at least two of them. I'm between two. Go ahead. Am I the last one here? You are. You are.
Starting point is 00:20:59 You're going to get it. Lunchbox wins. Talk him out. One's an athlete. And I don't know if he's famous enough to be in this list. Then I have a guy who's kind of named Chris, but it's another name that could be Chris. Well, just say them because no one's going to steal it from you. Christian Bale
Starting point is 00:21:17 Chris Jim Bail or Chris Paul the basketball player Okay neither Boles are famous State Farm commercials Oh man
Starting point is 00:21:26 No way Are those the two that you're between I mean I have Chris Lane and Chris Young But they're not it Okay I had Chris Jansen
Starting point is 00:21:33 But then Give me Christian bail Ah You mean Christian It's not even a Chris How was that not a Chris? I'm so glad you're with that What?
Starting point is 00:21:45 Just for fun Can I say some money? Yeah. Chris Jenner? No. The number two is Chris Evans. Who? Oh, man.
Starting point is 00:21:52 Captain America. Captain America. Number seven is Chris Farley. Oh, rest in peace, man. Number ten is Christopher Reeve. Oh, man. Shelby, I know you're here, but you did not win. I'm very sorry.
Starting point is 00:22:06 Oh, Shelby. That's okay. Amy still is good. I know you were hungry, but guess what? You can't eat. What? That's so rude. Because she didn't pick me.
Starting point is 00:22:16 me. I mean, why would you not pick me? Shelby, is there anything you'd like to say or any question you'd like to ask before we go? Yeah, I just wanted to say something about through the Steve and the softball thing. It's that okay. Yeah, go ahead. So I know once Fox said he couldn't do it, but I was going to say if they're playing on a softball field, it's only about 200 to the left field and right field line.
Starting point is 00:22:40 But if they're playing on a regular baseball field, it's about 300 down the line and probably about 325-350. It won't be a regular baseball field. No, he said 300, he said he hit over 300-foot field. Yeah, 300 feet. That's how he said far he hit it every time. Kids baseball field. That's what we said, and he goes, no, we're the big boys play.
Starting point is 00:22:58 That's what he said, big boys. With a softball? Yes, that's what he said. I don't know the distance. He claims he can hit a softball at 300 feet. What? I don't know the exact distance. I just know that we played at a field.
Starting point is 00:23:07 It was where Little League is, but it's the bigger Little League kids, the 18-year-old kids. It's that back-off. That's a baseball field. Ice school's a baseball baseball field. Yeah, okay. There's no way you can do that. All right, we'll see.
Starting point is 00:23:17 Shelby, thank you for calling. Thank you. All right. Bye, bye, bye. Okay, well, lunchbox, here's your song. Woo! Yeah, Chris! Oh!
Starting point is 00:23:28 What's this? And they stay there! And they stay there! Chris Bind! Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey. Christian, what a terrible. Christian Bail, no? For inspiration to reach your goals,

I was just wondering if your speech in Arkansas and then your award ceremony,
Starting point is 00:24:16 will it be broadcast live or record? quarter than played on your website? That's interesting. I don't know. Yesterday's show, it was announced that I'm getting an honorary doctor at the University of Arkansas, which I'm super pumped about, and I will be speaking at graduation for, not the full hour or anything. Just got a little something there. And I do not know if it will be a broadcast, but I'll find out and let people know.
Starting point is 00:24:37 Well, I would say these days, most commencement speeches are on YouTube. I'm not the main commencement speaker, though. He's the honorary doctorate speaker. From what I've been told, they're only honoring one person with an honorary doctorate this year. And then you'll just speak on behalf of that. And then I talk for five to ten minutes. A chihuahua in Florida named one word, Toby Keith, was dubbed the world's oldest dog. living right now at the age of 21 years and 66 days. So her name's Guy Celeste.
Starting point is 00:26:30 She adopted the dog whenever Toby Keith, the dog, was just a few months old. By the way, Toby Keith, the artist is 60. Toby Keith, the Chihuahua is 21. And right now, at 21 years, 66 days, Guinness says it's the oldest living dog. Not just Chihuahua, but oldest living dog. By the way, Chihuahuas usually live 12 to 18 years old. Eddie, I know you've had a few Chihuahuas. I've had three in my life.
Starting point is 00:26:51 And they've all lived... 10, 11, maybe 12. All of those are younger than like the lower end of it. Just realize that. It's not good. The oldest ever dog was Bluey, an Australian cattle dog. Bluey lived at 29 years old, which is wild. Although it was back in 1939, so on the blue.
Starting point is 00:27:09 I need to see some sort of fact. Yeah. Yeah. But anyway, Toby Keith the dog, we should get Toby Keith the dog with Toby Keith the artist for a picture before one or both die. Well, the dog's probably going to happen sooner. You never know. You never know. Toby Keith's living that road life.
Starting point is 00:27:24 The artist. I hope they both live forever. That's Tell Me Something Good. That was Tell Me Something Good. Starting point is 00:31:46 Yeah. Number, you saw that. Yes. Well, and I noticed it. I see it all the time. I noticed this one in particular because this truck was driving crazy. Almost cut me off the road. So for a second, I thought about calling.
Starting point is 00:31:58 But then I did it because I thought, oh, well, you know, probably just like a... They almost cut you off. Yeah, I promised it was their fault, not mine. I knew you would do that. Amy is notoriously a bad driver. Bobby just rolled his eyes for those of you that can see. So you were cut off and then you saw the number. And then I saw, how's my driving?
Starting point is 00:32:15 What if you had to wear one of the... Phone number. Next bed Amy loses, we should have to put one of those on her car. Oh, yes. No. And it's the voicemail line. No, if you call it about... Oh, my goodness. No, they won't know. It's you. And then, yeah, if you put 877-77 Bobby.
Starting point is 00:32:31 No, no, you wouldn't say Bobby, you would just put the numbers. Yeah. But they'll... No. It'll work, bones. Okay, well, the hot mail line can't say things for calling the Bobby Bone show. The hotmail line. Okay, 2004.
Starting point is 00:32:43 Oh, we got to come in with a different voice mail. Yeah, yeah, we could do that. Different voicemail. Hotline. That's what I meant. Next bet she lose. is we put something in our car goes, how's my drive? You know that thing's gonna be full of people going, you cut me off.
Starting point is 00:32:54 This is great. You were doing your hair on the draw driving. What? No, what if? It's full of people saying, Amy was so nice. They won't know what to you.
Starting point is 00:33:03 Okay, sorry. This car. Okay, she's gonna tell people to call it. This car was so nice, she let me in. Or this car was so nice, she waved at me. I'm nice driver.
Starting point is 00:33:11 You did not call the 18 wheeler and Tad alum. I didn't, but it made me wonder, like, do people ever really call? And then, like, what is bad enough to make you want to call. I would imagine people call that if they get. Absolutely. It's the type of person more
Starting point is 00:33:23 than it is, do people. Or it may not even be a truck with a you know, how's my driving number? It could just be any car where you call. I remember when I was a kid, my dad saw a drunk driver and he called 911 to say, and they were like straight up throwing beer cans out the window. And so my dad just said, hey, FYI, this is a Buick.
Starting point is 00:33:42 If you see it, well, you know, and so that way they could find him. Lunchbox chase a drunk driver once. Yeah, I called 911 on a drunk driver. and I followed, I was on 911 for 15 minutes, 15 to 17 minutes. Game of description had my flashers on and they came up and I said the cars in front of me. They said stay behind them, stay behind them. Did they? I thought they said leave them alone.
Starting point is 00:34:02 No, no, they said leave a little distance and then they came up and they said stop following them. No, no, that was the domestic view situation. That was another. Lexbox follows anybody. Yes, for any reason. But anyway, so the cops show up and they pull over the car next to me. They pulled over the wrong car. They didn't even pull over the drunk driver.
Starting point is 00:34:18 Like, and the guy, the 911 operator is like, all right, they're pulling up right now. And they hang up on me. And they literally pulled up and pulled over the wrong car. So after 17 minutes of 911. 15 to 17. Yeah. I'm going to go with 17. I think it was longer.
Starting point is 00:34:31 And they pull over the wrong car. And then another time is when I pulled up at the stop sign and that guy was yelling at the woman and she was getting, she was like, please call in my license plate. And then he goes, you're going to take me home right now. And they get back in the car and I followed them. And we went through all through town out onto the highway. and we were chasing them running stop signs. Who's we? My wife and kids.
Starting point is 00:34:52 See, that's my point. Running stop signs. With your kids in the car. And we were giving a play-by-play to 911 and then they finally said, all right, sir, we need you to back off. If a cop comes, it comes. And I'm like, no, we, why did they not come?
Starting point is 00:35:05 We were on the 911 for 12 minutes. And they, where were the cops? Why were you on a stop-time to do kids in the car? I was giving play-by-play to 911. I had to be there for that woman. She was in tears. She was in tears. Could you not stop at the stop sign and then go a little faster and catch you back up?
Starting point is 00:35:21 Well, I mean, it was a four-way stop, so you got other cars and you would get, you know, you would, you know what I'm saying. I know what you're saying. All right. I think you did the right thing. Not calling? Yeah. If you just seen them hit somebody and then run, you probably would have called. Or like that one time I saw someone in 18-wheeler reading a book, that probably would be worth calling.
Starting point is 00:35:40 Oh, yeah. Yeah. That was a long time ago, but I don't even know if they had a number on it. You ever seen the bumper sticker to say, how's my driving? Call 1-800-Eat. Oh, yeah. Dana is on the phone in Rogers, Arkansas. Let's talk to her right now.
Starting point is 00:35:55 Dana, good morning. Welcome to the show. Good morning. Good morning, studio. Morning. I'm just so excited to talk to you. We are going to see Garth this weekend. And when my daughter and her friends heard you were going to be there,
Starting point is 00:36:07 they're more excited to see you than Garth Brooks. Well, they shouldn't be, and they should have their head checked because Garth is meant. amazing and we are just going to be a loser opening act. But we are going to be opening for Garth and it is amazing. And we have a half hour set and I don't know when we start. I don't know when we end. I don't know when we do anything.
Starting point is 00:36:26 But we will be playing in front of Garth in front of 80,000 people and it'll be awesome. And I'm very excited. So yeah, we're just worried people won't know what we're doing. They won't know we're a comedy music group. They're going to be like, this is the stupidest songs ever heard. Yeah, we're going to have to explain everything. Right, Dana? No, we're just so excited.
Starting point is 00:36:43 We know she went up to Colorado to see you and Eddie. We love the show. We love the razor back. So when we heard you were coming, we were just, we were just so excited. Are you doing any, are you doing any signs, any signing autographs or anything? Right now, I don't know when we're doing anything. I don't even know when we're going on stage. So right now, no.
Starting point is 00:37:05 But that doesn't mean we're not. But I just, I don't even know what I don't know what time is sound check. I don't know anything. We just show up and we do our best job and we figure it out. Okay, Lunchbox, present this, but don't say what your wife's side is. Don't say what your side is, okay? Easy. But you got into a little argument.
Starting point is 00:37:23 Got into an argument about something that I should or shouldn't have done. Okay, go ahead. So, I was at the airport and my flight got canceled. The woman in front of me talking to the ticket agent was a 73-year-old woman, and she told the lady, I'm traveling alone. I got nowhere to go. That means I have to spend the night at the airport. So I'm telling my wife this.
Starting point is 00:37:47 One of us said, I need to step up and offer this 73 year old woman to come stay at my house for the night. The other person said there is no chance I can ask this old woman to come to my house and spend the night. Which one? I already know who is. I know which side is because he said it like that. He goes, ah, I said, okay, okay. Well, no, I said I and I in both scenarios. Yeah, but the tone was weird.
Starting point is 00:38:17 You got a little angrier in the other one. So, let me see if I'm just hearing this right. Your wife said you should have invited her home. I can't tell you. You said there's no chance this old, whatever you said secondly and angrily. That's Bobby's guess. Okay, so lunchbox is 70-year-old woman. What should he have done?
Starting point is 00:38:34 What would you have done? Man, that would have been so nice. Yeah, figuring out a place for her to stay. That sounds like super thoughtful. That's one of those things that would make the news. So you vote. Maybe he should have said, hey, lady. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:38:48 Or no, you'd come back and stay with me at my house. Yeah. Well, if I'm the old lady, though, I ain't trusting that. But, okay, that's not the question here. Okay. Yeah. Eddie. Oh, I think it's a wonderful gesture to ask the old lady,
Starting point is 00:38:58 hey, do you need a place to stay come to my house? But there's no way I would ever do that. No chance. Okay. What I would have done if I would have heard that. I wouldn't have asked her to stay at my house because I think she probably would think I was going to murder her.
Starting point is 00:39:14 But I would have said, hey, you have nowhere to stay. Can I pay for you a hotel room here at the airport? I didn't think about that. Because I'm saying what I would have done. If I heard that and I'm affected by that, that's what I would have said.
Starting point is 00:39:27 I'm not going to act like I'm Mother Teresa. I'm not going to say, come home, I'll cook dinner. Yeah. But I would go, hey, is there any chance I can help you get a hotel room? but if I'm picking between the two, I just don't invite anybody back to the house.
Starting point is 00:39:41 So I'm going to have to go with Team Lunchbox. Don't invite. And I'm not sure that's what it is. Oh, it's for sure Team Lunchbox. Yes. So now that we've picked, what happened? My wife was like, you should do the nice thing and invite her to spend the night at the house.
Starting point is 00:39:56 You need to approach her and say, hey, look, you know, we have a spare bedroom. And I said, she is not going to go home. I am not going to go up to this 73-year-old woman. and say, hey, guess what? I'm just a guy. My family's not home, but you can come stay at my house.
Starting point is 00:40:11 She's going to think, whee, re, whee, we. And then she's going to send a text to, like, her nephew who's going to then put out lunchbox and the Bible show tried to invite my grandma home and hook up with her. Yes.
Starting point is 00:40:24 Which we believe that. Or try to kill my grandmother. I don't know. But there was no way I was going to offer her to come spend the night at my house. And so she ended up spending the night on the chairs at the air. airport. But the airport
Starting point is 00:40:37 didn't put her in hotel? No. The airline didn't put her in hotel? Are you sure? Do you know that? I know for a fact because she was on my flight the next day and I heard her talking to someone saying she slept on the chairs at the gate until midnight. Then they clear out the terminals and she went down where the
Starting point is 00:40:53 baggage claim is and that she found a chair by an information desk. Well that's sad. That's really sad. And this is the bad part. No, I don't want the bad part. People kept waking her up asking her for information because she was by the information desk. Is this a joke? How did you know all of that?
Starting point is 00:41:09 I was sitting next to her waiting for the plane and she was telling it to me. She was telling the lady next to her everything that went down and I was like, wow. And that's when my wife was like, see, you should feel bad. You didn't invite her to the house. I feel bad to you invited to the house. But I wouldn't have because I would have thought she would have thought I was trying to take advantage of her. But what a cool story? What about the hotel?
Starting point is 00:41:28 Yeah, if. What about the cool story if she tells her nephew Terry and Terry calls the cops and all the sudden TMZ's got a story about a radio guy. With a picture of lunchbox. And then he's fried. If they see a picture of him, they know he's up to no good, even if he's not. Look at him. Look at the dude. He's in the same hoodie every day.
Starting point is 00:41:44 That doesn't, you know, mass murder? I don't know it does. But, man, it was such a dilemma. I was like, I can't. I don't know. She seemed like a nice lady, like perfect little grandma 73, but I was just like, eh, not going to come to my house. You never thought about saying, hey, can I help you get a hotel room?
Starting point is 00:41:58 No, that never crossed my mind. He seemed cheap for that. All right. She's okay, though. Yeah, she got on the plane and she flew down to Florida. The three things in order, I try to get her hotel. If I knew that I wasn't going to be called creepy or murderer, I'd for sure have her at the house. You'd have to have the family there.
Starting point is 00:42:16 No doubt. I would do that. Not just you. And leave her third. I'd let her one. I know. I know you did. I know you did. All right. This past weekend was Easter and there was a decent chance that you had people over at the house. It may have been a moment where you realize, oh man, I think I need to upgrade my yard. I just want to say I was watching Morgan's Insta story, and Eddie was eating an apple. You know what? I'm just going to say, Eddie is a very attractive guy, you know.
Starting point is 00:43:41 I'm 29 years old, so, you know, I don't know. Anyways, love yourself. Hey, at least you didn't apologize for thinking that. She's like, I'm sorry, I think that. I like it. Good for you, buddy. Wow, man, that's cool. It makes me feel real good today. That's sexy, huh?
Starting point is 00:43:53 Michael from Tallahassee, Florida. Here you go. I'm just calling in with a prediction for he's going to get the Hollywood part. me and my girlfriend are convinced it's going to be Ray and it's just going to be 12 lines of you! Later on this morning, we'll cut somebody else. One of you three, Ray, Eddie, or Amy
Starting point is 00:44:12 is going to get a part in a major movie on a major streaming service with real-life lines. I didn't pick the person. The movie production asked me specifically for one person. So one of you three will get cut. I'm getting nervous. But one of you three will get the movie too. So that's coming up.
Starting point is 00:44:27 And finally, here is Tanya, from Parrottesville, Tennessee. Hey, Bobby, morning studio. My son has a morning corny for you. What's a musician's favorite vegetable? Beats. Love the show. I like his delivery.
Starting point is 00:44:43 It's just like he did not care. What's a musician's favorite vegetable? Beats. Okay, got to go. That's good. That's where it's at. Here's Amy's pile of stories. A person that works at Target has put customers on blast
Starting point is 00:44:57 for leaving stuff in aisles where they don't belong. example, this person, like, is on TikTok and she's got a lot of followers, so she likes to post about things. The headline should be a person that works at Target will probably not work at Target anymore after this story goes viral. But it's not about anything Target's doing is about the customers, and what they're doing is bad. Go ahead. So she's over in the bath bomb section, and she sees two frozen pizzas just left on the floor there. And she goes over to touch them, and they're not even frozen anymore because who knows how long they've been left there. And she said, people think that I stage this stuff for my TikTok. She goes, but I don't. This is real people doing this,
Starting point is 00:45:30 And it's basically as bad as stealing because you've taken something from the... Oh, no. It's not as bad as stealing, but I get it. It's not stealing because they didn't take it for their own personal good. They decided they couldn't afford it and then just too lazy to take it back. Or didn't want it. Or didn't want it. Okay. And then they don't take it.
Starting point is 00:45:45 But if you don't take it back to the freezer and it's now gone bad, then it's useless. It's wasted. It's wasted. It's wasted. Okay, well, sorry. The TikTok people were the ones that saying it was about stealing. Yeah, as someone who used to work in retail, that stinks because we'd go at the end of the night and have to do the sweep of the place and you'd go through all the
Starting point is 00:46:00 shelves you have to take it. It's unfortunate that people would do that because it's just other people having to do that work. Right. And that's like frozen things that can go bad. But yeah, I mean, I had to go through this lesson with my daughter at Target not too long ago. She had some like lip gloss and then we were over in like the kitchen section. She's like, uh, I don't know if I'm going to buy this anymore. And she set it down next to a blender. And I'm like, eh, no, you take that back over to the beauty section. Pretty much. Yeah, until her next time she's going to go to jail. So a flight attendant talk to insider.com and shared some ways that we can stop wasting money at the airport. First of all, stop buying bottled water when you're there.
Starting point is 00:46:37 You're not allowed to take water through security, but you can take an empty water bottle and then fill it up once you get to the other side. I didn't think about it. Yeah. I buy bottle water all the time. Because I was going to go, well, you can't have any water, but you can. But you can take it empty. And you save so much money because the bottled water is marked up, crazy expensive at the airport. Another thing to do is if you've got to travel with liquid that's over three ounces,
Starting point is 00:47:02 but you don't want to have to check a bag, whatever the amount of water or liquid or whatever it is you need to bring through, freeze it. Because freezing things, frozen water security. No way. Or what about this? If it's only three ounces for each, can you not break it up into three ounce things?
Starting point is 00:47:16 Oh, yes. I've done that before. I've taken like six tubes or something. And then when I get to where I'm going, I pour it all back in together. I feel like we're committing a crime on the air. I don't know why this feels shady, but it does.
Starting point is 00:47:28 That's good, too. Go ahead. You can freeze it. And then she also shared that some days have cheaper tickets than others. And the best days to buy tickets are Tuesdays and Wednesdays because prices tend to drop after and before the weekend. All right. What else you got? And then if you're traveling somewhere, I just thought I'd throw this in there. Like maybe you want to take a flight to Tampa because this guy has converted an Airbnb into a complete friend's knockoff.
Starting point is 00:47:53 Like, it's like you're staying in the friend's apartment in New York, but you're in Tampa. And so if you're looking for a fun weekend, how fun would it be to stay in a friend's Aaron Beebe? Pretty smart if he's able to make that legit. Yeah. Because that's a little novel way to get people to stay in your place, especially if it didn't cost a whole lot. Yeah, he said he thinks people will appreciate all the work he's put into it, but he's not quite sure yet. It's 263 a night. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:48:17 It just depends where it is. I mean, that's expensive. 263 a night? Yeah. But if you got friends staying with you, split the bill. No, no, I know. But I'm saying if it's, wow, it looks pretty good. It's not exactly yet, but it looks pretty good.
Starting point is 00:48:28 I'm saying that if it's not near the water or if it's not, that's a lot. True. Location is everything. And then lastly, Keith Urban opened up about his sobriety. And he said that it wouldn't have happened without Nicole. He had several stints in rehab, but she offered so much support and encouragement. And the cool part about being sober is he feels lucky that he's still able to write good music. Because he wrote plenty of hit songs while he was drunk, but plenty while sober.
Starting point is 00:48:53 And he feels lucky that it didn't define his creativity. All right. Love to hear that. I'm Amy. That's my pile. That was Amy's pile of stories. Because she just remembers about her dad when she was a little because he was a firefighter.
Starting point is 00:49:41 Anytime they would visit any town, he would find a local fire department and go get a T-shirt. So he collected them. Well, she decided she wanted to make him a quilt. So she put on TikTok that she was looking for firefighter shirts from different departments. And she has had over 100 shirts sent to her, some from overseas. She has one from all 50 states, so now she's able to give her dad this special gift because people have been so generous sending her these shirts.
Starting point is 00:50:04 That's a heck of a quilt. Yeah. That could come up your whole living room. She might end up making a couple of different ones, but she said also it's cool because some people have included notes. Even widows of firefighters have sent her things with sweet letters, and it's just a really cool way for her to honor her dad. How warm can that be, though, a t-shirt quilt?
Starting point is 00:50:20 You've got to, like, fold it probably four times. Yeah, because one layer wouldn't... It's just a T-shirt. Yeah. Yeah, they can... The inside layer, you... you can fill it with like a furry fabric. That's what I have on my.
Starting point is 00:50:31 The inside. Oh, you mean it's a different layer on front and back? Yeah, so a listener made me a quilt full of my dad's t-shirts. And I have all my dad's t-shirts on the outside, like different Pimp and Joy ones and whatnot that he used to wear all the time. And she put on the inside layer a little, the most comfortable furry fabric. I love it. That makes more sense.
Starting point is 00:50:49 Yeah. All right, that's a good one. That's what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good. A guy gets stuck for three days after dumpster diving for a chair. Now, I think we probably have all been dumpster diving in a way. We used to go to the dump and actually look for stuff. Yeah, I'd get coupons. And Amy lost her mouth guard in a dumpster once, and didn't your grandma die for it?
Starting point is 00:51:13 My retainer at Chuckie Cheese, and she wasn't about to buy me a new one. So she got there dug off through all the trash and found it. So a man got stuck for days after dumpster diving for a chair. A 60-year-old guy says he spent nearly three days. in a New Jersey dumpster after going in for an item. He said he saw a chair. He really wanted it. He thought he could salvage it.
Starting point is 00:51:34 He had to be rescued by firefighters and police. Somebody heard him days later crying for help. Oh, that's scary. That is, it's, when you read the headline, you're like, ha, ha. Oh, man. Imagine being trapped for three days. How many feels like he's going to die? Police say suffered only minor injuries.
Starting point is 00:51:50 That's from NJ.com. So the good news is he's out. Yes. We could have all been trapped in this dumpster. Totally. That could have been us. Could have been any of us. Very easily.
Starting point is 00:51:59 All right, let's go over to Amy and get in the morning corny. The morning corny. Did you hear about the actor that literally broke a leg on stage? No. Don't worry. He's still in the cast.
Starting point is 00:52:18 That was the morning corny. That's pretty good one. Hey, coming up on Friday, we'll do basically a whole hour with Jason Aldeen. So on Friday, Al Dean will be in. studio.

Starting point is 00:56:05 It's from a major streamer. There is a big actress attached to the movie. I had nothing to do with this. But the company came to me and said, Can we have this person specifically? And so I checked with our bosses and I was like, hey, is it cool? Yeah, let's go. So this person will be leaving the show for a week in June.
Starting point is 00:56:26 I guess if you accept it, I assume whoever gets it will do it. Are you worried that this person specifically? It can't act? Yeah. Yeah, because the only three people love can act. Do you think they're going to make the show proud or what is? Yeah. Because we all goof with each other.
Starting point is 00:56:41 But I think of the three people remaining, Ramundo, Eddie, or Amy, you'll all do a great job. I love it. I don't think so. Okay. What? I don't think so. Bitter box over here.
Starting point is 00:56:53 On Monday, we had to tell lunchbox he did not get it. Tuesday, yesterday we had to tell Morgan she didn't get it. Again, I had nothing to do with it. But one of you three will be acting in a big movie on a major streaming service. And it's like real, it's not just being an extra, I promise you, real lines. So, let's talk about three people. Ray, let's talk about you first. What do you think you bring to a motion picture?
Starting point is 00:57:23 If they're trying to look out for maybe a workout scene, I don't think I could honestly do a kissing scene, but maybe... Oh, so are you out if there has to be any kissing? That's interesting. No way wife's going to let me do that. No way. Pathetic. So you would not do the movie.
Starting point is 00:57:38 This is interesting. No, no. He wouldn't go to Hollywood because he couldn't do a kissing scene. You need to grow some, man. So what you're saying is they want a guy with no nads. They got their guy. Wait, I never even considered kissing. I'm in. I don't care.
Starting point is 00:57:52 Exactly. I'll kiss. I mean, thank you. Ray, if the movie had kissing, one kiss. Your wife wouldn't let you do it? No, because family would be watching it and then everybody think I'd be going. But you're acting. That'd be saying I'm going against my vows or whatever.
Starting point is 00:58:05 But actors that are married kiss all the time. That's what we like to see. You're dedicated. It's awkward. Yeah. Okay. But don't they teach you how to kiss but not kiss? No.
Starting point is 00:58:16 That's good to know. Yeah. Eddie, what do you bring? I'm going to get deep for a second. When I was seven years old, my dad came back from a business trip in L.A. And he brought me back a little Oscar. And ever since I had that, Bones,
Starting point is 00:58:31 I would practice in the bathroom mirror my Oscar speech. I've never told anyone this. This was between me and the man in the mirror. And now I feel like it's all coming full circle. Like, I didn't know then that this was going to be my future. This is made up. So you manifested it. We've talked about acting and all this, and Eddie has never once mentioned.
Starting point is 00:58:50 I was too embarrassed. No, this is all fake. He's just trying to appeal to the audience. Why would I bring that up? The audience isn't picking who the person is. I'm just saying. I didn't even pick who the person was. Eddie, thank you for sharing that story. Thank you, man.
Starting point is 00:59:01 Very vulnerable of you. Yes, thank you. Even though it's not real. So Ray, our audio producer who runs all the levels here is up for it. Eddie, who does all of our videos and is also a co-host, up for it. Amy, a main co-host, main squeeze. Yeah. What do you bring?
Starting point is 00:59:17 Honestly, I know so far you've been like, I... But I don't know. I never... I think of Eddie manifesting with his little Oscar speech. That's just fate in everybody. The only thing I can think of is like I've often put out there like two things that I would love to do, but I don't have any experience for either. And that would be like work as a barista in the Hallmark Christmas movie.
Starting point is 00:59:41 Like, I don't care. I don't need a main role. Or be the voice of a fish. Oh, and like a cartoon. So I don't know if I've managed. That's the only thing I can think of that it's manifested itself somehow. Trust me, your voice is not good enough to be a voice actor. Wow.
Starting point is 00:59:57 So mean right now. I'll say this, though, since your dream was to be in a Hallmark Christmas movie, I will tell you this. This streaming service is much bigger. Wow. Than Hallmark? Yeah. Oh, my gosh.
Starting point is 01:00:12 You're talking about like the majors. This is a major. It's a major streaming service. Wow. Right, Mike? Yeah. Oh, I just saw it. It's only fans.
Starting point is 01:00:19 It is not. That's not a streaming service. Yeah, it is. You stream that. Trust me. I trust you. I do trust you. I can already say if it's only fans, I'm out.
Starting point is 01:00:28 I'm not doing it. I'll do it. Well, one of you three. Hey, man. I want that dream to come true. One of you three will be going to Hollywood. Oh, wow. For basically a week.
Starting point is 01:00:42 They've told us they pay about $1,000 a day. You'll have money. Multiple lines. That means they don't get paid from this show, then why they're going. Because they're off work. Is that what that means? That's what that means. What about when you go and you're trying to get on a game show?
Starting point is 01:00:54 That's different. I'm working. So everybody's cool to lunches point, everybody's cool with just missing work for something? It's not missing work. It's good for the show, too. Okay. Why? We could talk about it.
Starting point is 01:01:07 Like all this content we have from it. And here's the thing. I have not talking. You guys that are listening think this has been all set up. It has not. so much so that I got scoob and Mike in a room we talked about the way we're going to lay this out I just saw Hulu subscriptions
Starting point is 01:01:22 cancellations going through the roof Netflix because we're going to have terrible actors in their movies Wow That's bad Is she just over there like writing jokes I need to eliminate one of you I'm very sorry Oh my gosh They want to do live action Coco
Starting point is 01:01:38 I got it I'm gonna be Coco You can play guitar and sing He wouldn't be a little boy The whole movie Make up guys, it's Hollywood They make me look young in a heartbeat Okay, here we go and now talking
Starting point is 01:01:50 I'm going to eliminate You know what I'm gonna tell you who's safe The first person's safe Amy Oh my gosh Are you serious? Oh my gosh Amy I mean so maybe they're doing a spin-off
Starting point is 01:02:05 No Amy One who flew over the cuckoo's nest And now it's called The Lady that went cuckoo and now lives in a nest Because you're the one that thinks birds talk to you and they're like, oh, she's perfect. It's been way too much time writing jokes. Oh, no.
Starting point is 01:02:20 Oh, no. You can't write jokes when you're angry, dude. Okay. Can't do it. Oh, there's one more. The off-brand Reese Spoon. There you go. Go get your movie roll.
Starting point is 01:02:31 Okay. The generic version? Yeah, generic. You know, like, you go to the grocery store and you got cinnamon toast crunch, and then you got just cinnamon crunch. Amy's the cinnamon crunch there. She's just rude now. All right.
Starting point is 01:02:44 Okay, you too. Oh, my gosh. Who is it down to you? Well, you're safe. Okay. Relax. I mean, who are they going to go with? Eddie and Raimundo, you are the two remaining.
Starting point is 01:02:56 Relax. If they go with Eddie, that means George Lopez turned them down, said not too much money. That's what I was thinking. And they got the cheaper, not funny version of them. I'll take it. The next person eliminated. It will not be starring in the movie. Oh, no.
Starting point is 01:03:14 Ray, you could be a Munchkin and Wizard of Oz is your chance. The remake? Is it the remake right here? The next person eliminated. Eddie? What? What? Come on, Bones.
Starting point is 01:03:28 Don't do this to me. Eddie. Don't do this to me. You are safe. Yeah! Makes sense. Let's go! It makes sense.
Starting point is 01:03:44 Ray, go ahead. Why would they go after me when they just go after Bones? We look the same, talk, the same, on the same show. From the same... From the start, it seemed far-fetched that it'd be me. I'm sorry, buddy. You think your bones? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:03:56 Oh, so you're saying that if they wanted that role, they would have given it to bones. Don't worry, Ray. I saw their shooting. Honey, I shrunk the kids. They're doing a remake later. And they don't have to shrink you. But he didn't get it. I know, that's what I'm saying.
Starting point is 01:04:10 They're doing that later later. He didn't use that joke, so it's left over. Well, tomorrow, it'll be either Amy or Eddie. Oh, my gosh. What? Make your picks now. Who do you think it will be? Honestly, who do you think it will be?
Starting point is 01:04:23 Are you putting money on it? It's not you. My Xbox is not you. Do you think I'm going to switch it up? Hey, guys, have you ever seen a thriller? It's a twist. Y'all, he's delusional. You think there's going to be a twist I'm going to pick you tomorrow?
Starting point is 01:04:35 I'm not. Okay. That's what you say at every twist of a movie. Oh, I'm not the killer. That's true. He's got a point, doesn't it? Yeah. He got a good point there.
Starting point is 01:04:44 Okay, but it's not you. Okay, that's great. Keep telling me that. Keep telling yourself that. Keep telling the listeners that. Keep telling Amy and Eddie, they're still alive. And then it's a double elimination. Have you ever watched that?
Starting point is 01:04:54 Yeah. I do that on Big Brother sometimes, a little twist. Do you want me to put you back in the mix for tomorrow? No, don't do that. No. Do you want me to put you back? He's going to get upset all over again. I'm going to give you the option.
Starting point is 01:05:07 I'm going to give you the option. Do you want me to put you back in the mix for tomorrow? Yeah. Absolutely. Why would I not want to be back in the mix? Okay. So. You were already out of the mix.
Starting point is 01:05:20 Yeah, but guess what, Eddie? I'm back. Okay. So he's back in. I'm back. But does that mean that's down to three of us, suckers? He's like a child. Oh, my gosh.
Starting point is 01:05:37 There are three of you left that will be going into tomorrow's elimination. And tomorrow, one of you will be crowned the winner. Yeah. What up! Unless I just eliminate one more of you again. Oh, gosh. Well, I'll talk about that. No.
Starting point is 01:05:50 If you keep running lunchbox in, we can drag this out for two weeks but is it a twist? He makes me wonder now if it's a twist. Yeah, you guys don't ever write movies,
Starting point is 01:05:57 do you? That's right. You don't write movies either. You never seen a script before, have you? Nope. Guess not. I read scripts all the time.
Starting point is 01:06:06 I haven't. Exactly. There are three people left and you know what? Tomorrow we'll find out who gets a movie. Yeah! Let's go!
Starting point is 01:06:13 It's Lunchbox, Eddie. All over a year. It's lunchbox. Eddie. You're right. Is there any chance? Is there any chance? There's a twist and I was going to bring him back in though.
Starting point is 01:06:20 No. Well, yeah, because this is what you do. This is what you do. No, because he called for it. So he's going to get eliminated again. Oregon? Is there a chance of the twist? Oh, there isn't.
Starting point is 01:06:31 Is this still one day elimination? Yeah. We can wait a whole other day. No, no, tomorrow's the finale. Tomorrow is the finale. And what do finale's have? Twist. That's right.
Starting point is 01:06:42 And this is what Bobby does. This is the most dramatic elimination yet. Have you never watched The Bachelor? No. Well, you're missing. and out. Tomorrow. Have you never
Starting point is 01:06:50 watched Big Brother when they do? Oh, guys. Never seen it. Tonight's a double elimination. Boom! Hey, tomorrow, guys, is a double elimination.
Starting point is 01:06:59 Yeah. Boom! Okay, tomorrow this time somebody will get the roll. It's lunchbox. Eddie or Amy, all the marbles. To be or not to be?
Starting point is 01:07:07 That is the question. All right. Okay. For me, therapy has been such a big part of my life. I didn't know anything about therapy.
Starting point is 01:07:17 You know, I grew up where therapy wasn't talked about. He didn't pay for it. You didn't really know why you would go. But it has been such an instrumental part of me just being a more balanced and more present person. Burnout can be getting to you as well. Starting point is 01:08:04 slash bones. That's betterh-h-elp.com slash bones. Betterhelp.com slash bones. I want to go over and talk to Chuck, who lives in Boston. Hey, Chuck, good morning. What's going on, buddy? So a little twist on the discussion, and I'm not picking on Amy. Amy, I agree with a lot of stuff when I listen to you every morning. But how is this the VR company's fault or the credit card company's fault if your son charged something on your card because you had your card on that device? Okay, so an update for everybody. We were talking about Amy's son. He has a little VR thing.
Starting point is 01:08:43 He looks into it. He bought a bunch of coins. He said they're fake coins, but didn't know it was real money. It was $200 bucks. So first, Amy, what's the update on that? Did you ever reach out and call? So the update is... Can you even call?
Starting point is 01:08:54 Yeah, I did reach out, ended up chatting with someone. Okay. I was messaging. I don't know with who. Probably a robot. Someone in VR world. And they asked me to take a screenshot of the purchases. I sent those over and then explained that it was my 11-year-old son that made them.
Starting point is 01:09:09 And I got a full refund. Yeah. That's good. And that's pretty standard. Pretty standard. And they then suggest. that I changed my pin code so that way he doesn't have access to the pin so he can't make the purchases. So to the caller's point, yes, you're correct. And now we're going to avoid that with the
Starting point is 01:09:27 pin. But yeah, somehow my son figured it out and made the purchases and he didn't realize it was real money. Dumb question, maybe. Does he get to keep the coins? Good question. Do you know? Does he still get the coins or they take those back too? I didn't ask. I guess I'm going to have him go into his little game and see. Give him the pin. Let him go back in. No. I don't think, Chuck, to your point, I don't think anyone goes, well, it's only right. We give them their money back. I think it's a business decision. Because for every kid that does this, if they all get shut down, you got a bunch of kids that aren't going to be on it anymore. And I think the loss of 200 bucks here is probably per kid not worth losing the kid for years.
Starting point is 01:10:11 Smart. And also, I would have understood if they came back to me and said, sorry, we're not going to be able to refurb. refund you. I would have been bummed. Sorry. Money's gone. Sorry. Or that. Like, I wasn't going to fight too hard for it, but I wanted to at least shoot my shot and see if I could get a refund, but I do take responsibility for it, for sure. And that's the Amy I know and love.
Starting point is 01:10:33 Okay. Thank you. All right, Chuck. Appreciate that, buddy. All right, thank you guys. Love you. See you later. Joel and Virginia. I do want to grab one more call on this. Joel, what's happening, buddy? So my brother-in-law was trying to be nice to my son. I think it was for his birthday and bought him an Xbox live subscription. This has been quite a few years ago, but he left his card on my son's account.
Starting point is 01:10:57 And a month later, my brother-in-law called because he got a $2,400 bill for a bunch of coins that my son bought. So your son probably went, this is free. Like, I can buy all out because he never heard anything back. Like, he probably did a couple, looked around the room. nobody's mad Let's go A couple more Nobody's mad
Starting point is 01:11:19 It's party time Yeah Like that's what I would do I'd check it Right They just think That's up My kids
Starting point is 01:11:25 Like for them Understanding the concept Of like credit cards Being entered into something It's very hard For them to comprehend That it's actually real money Did your brother
Starting point is 01:11:33 In law Get his money back though Yes Yeah He called He was He was buying Like
Starting point is 01:11:40 I don't know Fortnite coins And he called And they gave him At like every penny back right away. Did your son get to keep the coins? The best thing was that he bought coins and he bought, it was like
Starting point is 01:11:50 Fortnite skins, like the different uniforms and stuff they get to wear. And he got to keep everything. See, that's awesome. Okay, see, but now, listen, if you have a kid and you're the gamer. Oh, I'm a kid bought all these coins. Oh. But don't do that. That's where it's dirty. But I'm saying.
Starting point is 01:12:04 But do it. Sounds like it. No, I'm not saying that. I'm just saying it could, anyway. Thank you, Joel. Appreciate it. Have a good day. All right, you too. All right. See, man. What we learned here from yesterday and today, watch your kids. make sure that they can't just all willy-nilly by whatever they want. Yeah, put in a PIN number that they don't know.
Starting point is 01:12:20 But if there is a mess up, there is a way to get your money back. There's hope. What's the max age for a kid, though? If you go, my 17-year-old, does that count? All right, thank you guys. It's time for the good news. With lunchbox. Tell me something good.
Starting point is 01:12:37 Scott Anderson was driving with his 11-year-old son out in California and some terrible weather. The wind is blowing. It's raining. He loses control of the car off the side of the highway and boom, boom, boom, boom, poop. 500 feet down the side of a cliff. Boom, they land upside down. Wow, they fell that far. 500 feet.
Starting point is 01:13:01 Yeah. And 45 minutes later and off-duty firefighters driving by and he sees a broken mile marker sign. He's like, hmm, that's not right. Let me pull over and investigate. And he looks down and he sees the wreckage and he calls, you know, for a murder. personnel, they bring a helicopter, and they take a rescue. It takes five hours to get the guy and his son, only minor injuries. I mean, think about a football field.
Starting point is 01:13:24 That's 300 feet, 100 yards, 300 feet. And think about that downhill and you're falling the whole way. That's like that plus more. And they lived. And then they rescued it for five hours. Everybody's good? Everybody's good. Minor injuries, but the rescue did take five.
Starting point is 01:13:40 I mean, just imagine you're sitting there 45 minutes. No one's coming. No one's coming. And it takes five hours to get you. you out and only minor injuries. And you're sitting there with your 11-year-old son. What are you talking about? Hey, man.
Starting point is 01:13:50 Probably not that chill. How's school? Yeah, yeah. You need to get your homework done. All right. Great story. Thanks to those responders. That is what it's all about.
Starting point is 01:14:00 That was Tell Me Something Good. On the phone, it's Nick, who is from Texas, but I believe is in town right now here. Hey, Nick, how are you, buddy? Hey, good morning, Bobby. Good morning. Morning. Morning, Sidio. Morning.
Starting point is 01:14:16 Hey, I just wanted to call and tell you congrats on your honorary doctorate. I'm sure, to the dismay of lunchbox. But just tell you congrats and tell you that you did a great job last night at the Opry. Oh, I appreciate that. Were you at the Grand Ole Opry last night? Yeah, I was actually in town. I'm next door at the Gaylord for a work event and got to get a front-road ticket and come see you last night. Oh, well, I appreciate that.
Starting point is 01:14:43 I did, I don't know, 15 minutes or something to stand up. I tried a bunch of new stuff. And I walked off and the first thing that one of the guys said to me was, yeah, a tough crowd to night. I was like, oh. I was like, oh, it was pretty tough. And I was like, I don't know if it was a tough crowd or wasn't that good. It's probably somewhere in the middle, meaning I didn't go out with a bunch of A stuff. I went out with stuff I haven't tried yet.
Starting point is 01:15:05 And it did okay to pretty good. And then also, nah, it's probably just my fault, not the crowd. Yeah. Nick, do you really think it was good or are you just being nice? No, I really do. I think you're a joke about the doctor. It was good. Thank you.
Starting point is 01:15:19 Dang. Already had one in there? I wrote it driving to the thing. I'm not scared to go and try new material. So on the way there, I was driving to the opera. I was like, I need to talk about this. So I wrote a few jokes in my car. Are you going to say it?
Starting point is 01:15:31 No. What? Come on. Does the doctor Owen? No. I may have the audio from it. If so, I'll play it. But it's embarrassing if I play it and then I hear back and nobody laughs.
Starting point is 01:15:39 Well, we'll be the real judges. I don't need judges. That's the point. I'm not asking for judgment. Okay. I'm my worst judgment. Nick, thanks, buddy. Hope you have a great time in town and, you know, be safe.
Starting point is 01:15:51 Thanks. Have a good one. See, buddy. You can fine tune it. I don't need you guys to fine tune it. I mean, all you have to say is I'm getting an honorary doctorate and that's hilarious. That's true. I have a friend that does that.
Starting point is 01:16:02 I'll send over stuff and he'll be like, well, let me write all this stuff back. We'll write all this stuff back. And he'll write notes on songs. I'm like, I'm not asking for you punch things up. You're just sharing? Yeah, what's like good or not? Or it's like sometimes you'll play golf and you're not playing that one. I'm like, well, you could do this with your swing.
Starting point is 01:16:19 Like, I'm not asking for a golf lesson here on the course. Just trying to do my thing, you know? Yeah, sometimes we just need to share. Yeah. Sometimes it's okay to say to a friend. Oh, I don't. I just ignore it. Okay.
Starting point is 01:16:28 Especially when it's worse than the original. All right. The only person who I trust to really punch things up is Caitlin. She's actually the funniest person that should be like, you know, you can do that joke. You can actually turn that, move that word here. And I'm like, wow. That's pretty good. So, all right.
Starting point is 01:16:40 Well, thank you for the call. Appreciate it. Let's go over and do the news. Bobby's Big. Stories. Airlines are ditching face mask rules. Thank God. I thank God.
Starting point is 01:16:51 I get it and I got it. But now I get it. We don't need it anymore. Yeah, but do you feel like you'll probably still wear it? I wore it before COVID. I know. So you'll still wear it. But I think the good news about this is the crazy people that throw fits over it.
Starting point is 01:17:06 Now we don't have to deal with them like being crazy. I'll miss that, though. All those clips are playing on the air. Yeah. Yeah. I was a mask wearer, but I don't know if I will anymore. Now here's why. I wore masks because I don't people sit in next to me.
Starting point is 01:17:19 And so if I had a mask on, this is way before COVID, they'd be like, what's up with this dude wearing a mask? I'll leave that middle seat on Southwest alone. Now if I wear it, they're just like, well, he's just a crazy COVID or a normal person that's really concerned about COVID. Might as well sit by him. He's being safe, you know? Yeah. So I probably won't wear one. Okay.
Starting point is 01:17:37 But it was time to move past the airplane mask situation, I believe. So there you go. That's from USA Today. A woman who died for 37 seconds claims she saw the afterlife. You know, we've all heard the expression in life flashing before your eyes. We've had a couple of stories about it recently. But Stephanie Arnold claims she saw the afterlife after her 37 second death. Arnold suffered a very rare embolism during her C-section, which is crazy, and bled out. She then died and stayed dead for 37 seconds.
Starting point is 01:18:07 She claims she, quote, watched from above in an out-of-body, experience as nurses brought her back to life with a defibrillator. During her trip to the afterlife, she also believed she saw spirits. Everything came in a 3D movie. I could actually see outside my body. She could also hear the doctors calling in panic as she died before their eyes. Wow. That is from 7 News.
Starting point is 01:18:30 That's what they say. Well, also what happens is you will have scientists or doctors go. What happens to the brain is that it's affected in a way where the oxygen is not, and it feels like you're able to see your body. and it feel so that she possibly was thinking she was seeing this but she was just
Starting point is 01:18:47 suffering the effect of what happens to your brain as you start to shut down. But we don't know because we weren't in her head and body. We had no idea. I believe her. I don't.
Starting point is 01:18:58 I believe she thinks she saw it but I believe the brain's probably doing things and it's shutting down. But it can't prove anything. Let's see. The Cash Me Outside Girl bought a six point. $1 million home and paid cash for it.
Starting point is 01:19:13 No way. Yes. Her name is Danielle. Way back in the day on Dr. Phil. It's like, catch me outside. Here's the Dr. Phil clip from four, um... How many years ago? 10, 15 years ago?
Starting point is 01:19:26 Here you go. Catch me outside. How about that? Catch you outside? What does that mean? What I just said? Catch her outside, and she'll go outside and do what she has to do.
Starting point is 01:19:37 That's what she's talking about. Oh, yeah. This is all... This is all... But don't you see that this is all mouth? So you want to take this outside? Because I think they can break cameras outside. Really?
Starting point is 01:19:46 Because I think I flipped you. You want to do it again? Danny, don't get all tough. Please don't. This is not the place and this is not the time. Sit down. Sit down. All right, Dan.
Starting point is 01:19:54 That was 2016. That was only six years ago. Oh, yeah, it does feel like longer than that. Dang. She bought a $6.1 million house with cash. Straight cash, homie. The 19-year-old has a new seven-bedroom,
Starting point is 01:20:08 seven-bathroom house, in a gated community, two-story guest house, hurricane impact windows, porcelain tiles throughout. And so she makes money because she wraps, right? Her name is bad Bobby. Baby, bad baby. It's spelled weird, okay? And she's the performer.
Starting point is 01:20:23 Yeah. This is in the New York Post. Okay. She must be doing well. Hundreds of Massachusetts drivers wrongly issued licenses fail driving tests. That headline is weird.
Starting point is 01:20:37 Hundreds of Massachusetts drivers wrongly issued license. They failed it. Like they failed their test, but they were given their license anyway. Why can I understand this? Hold on a second. Let me read. Hundreds of Massachusetts drivers wrongly issued licenses. This headline's written wrong, right?
Starting point is 01:20:51 Yeah. Am I going crazy? Read this headline out loud how you'd read it. And see if it doesn't make sense. Hundreds of Massachusetts drivers wrongly issued licenses failed driving tests. After four and four. No, I understand the story. And I know what happened here.
Starting point is 01:21:05 That's why I put it in here. But I think the headlines messed up. So what happened is these people, They didn't pass a test and they got licenses. Yeah. I mean, that's the story. I think we got there, yeah. 838 of the people didn't even schedule a test.
Starting point is 01:21:17 693 did but failed. They got licenses. It's amazing. It's their lucky day. It's terrible. It's crazy that the screw up was that big. That is from Boston.com. Officials say four employees were fired after it was found that around 2,000 drivers
Starting point is 01:21:30 been issued driver's licenses without taking a road test. It's hilarious. A mint julep. Do you know what that is? It's a drink. Yeah? Yeah. I don't know exactly what's in it, but mint?
Starting point is 01:21:42 What does that drink make you think of? Oh, like the South. Okay. That's it? The Kentucky Derby? Oh, there you go. But I've never been to the Kentucky Derby, so, but yes. That makes sense.
Starting point is 01:21:54 So the Kentucky Derby and Mint Jolips are apparently a thing. With that in mind, if you go this year, you can buy a mint julep for $1,000. What? Why? Apparently, it's all about the cup. Woodward Reserve started making the cup. collectible jewel at cups to raise money for charity. On race day,
Starting point is 01:22:13 148 cups will be available. 130 will be silver and feature red rubies in the shape of a horse show. I think that means horseshoe. We're really struggling with our printouts today, guys. The other 18 cups are made of gold, but you can pay $1,000 and get you one of these, or you can pay of those $1,500, and get you one of these. That's cool.
Starting point is 01:22:31 But it is for a charity. Yeah, and it's a collectible. An Ontario family says it lost thousands in emotional support monkey scam. so they were going to get an emotional support monkey. It's almost like you. You almost got a cat and you get scammed out of money. Right. But then you came on the air and talked about it.
Starting point is 01:22:47 I'm going to give away their info and they sent the check back. Yeah, got my money back and then I found the cat elsewhere. But yeah, it was definitely shady. A Canadian family from Ontario. So they've been scammed out of $8,000 for an emotional support monkey that never arrived. Wow. That's the awesomest emotional support animal you could ever have. Like, I am emotionally supported just by talking about it and thinking about it.
Starting point is 01:23:06 That's one thing I learned about looking. for cats online too, or I guess monkeys for this matter, that sometimes they'll have these stock photos and these images and you think that the animal's real and then you wire the money and then nothing comes. An Illinois woman loses $92,000 in internet dating scam. A heartbroken woman has shared how she didn't realize she was the victim of an online dating scam until she watched the Tinder Swindler. She said she spent $92,000 on a man she thought loved her and is now delaying her retirement
Starting point is 01:23:33 to get out of debt. Oh my. That stinks. She told ABC7 she made. The man after signing up for silver singles. She's older. A dating platform for folks above the age of 50, 60, 70 years old. And so she was convinced that she'd get paid back because the man sent her a screenshot of his supposed bank account.
Starting point is 01:23:52 And he was like, hey, can I get some money? I need some permits to work. Don't have it. So, that's sad. That's the news. Thank you. Those were Bobby's Big. Stories.

Starting point is 01:28:45 which I'm very proud of. And you have to do an audiobook for it, which I've found a little weird. And think about it. Because of the voices? No, just the kid's book. I didn't think that... I don't know if you buy it like an audiobook or not.
Starting point is 01:29:00 You know, the other books I did, my other books have written. Yeah. It makes sense, but I was like, wow, look at that. So I did it yesterday. We sat in a studio, and they didn't really give me any sort of rules. They were just like, all right, let's record the book here. And so I have me recording the audiobook, and I just decided to do voices for all the animals in it. The book is about Stanley, my dog, and Stanley has a voice, and he's like, the problem is, I'm going to be honest.
Starting point is 01:29:25 I forgot which voice was which How did you keep up? Well, because I just decided to do it on the spot. And I was like, I don't know, Bobby. And then I would do like a great day and I'd be like, yes. And then I would be like, oh, man, what voice was the great? Then I did a teacher and the teacher was like, all right, class. And then I'd do a cat and I'd be like, all right class.
Starting point is 01:29:43 I'm like, oh, no, the cat and the teacher are the same person. I don't know how it's going to end up. Dang. You're telling me I missed out on being a cat. I didn't think about that. Could have brought you in. But it was last minute, do you want to hear a clip? Yes.
Starting point is 01:29:56 This is a clip of, this whole book, by the way, is about, yes, it's about Stanley the dog in his first day of school, which is my dog. But really, it's a story about someone who is made to feel like they don't fit in. But what doesn't allow them to fit in is actually the greatest thing about them. You just don't know it yet. And I think we all have struggled from this. There's something about us we're like embarrassed of or we're not super secure about it. We're like, oh, man. But that's really our strength that we're doing.
Starting point is 01:30:24 different and how we can use it. And so yes, it is a kid's book. It is about a dog in his first day at school, but it's really bigger than that. And I wanted to focus, if you only want to care about the dogs and you're two, that's fine. But if you're six, you can also get a lot from the story. So here's a clip. I don't know what part of the book this is, but this is me doing the voices. You're a hero. One of the great Danes barked. Stanley's number one, the hound howled. I always knew he was coolio, Julio, the poodle woofed. Do you want to play catch with us after class? So those are different dogs. I don't know what ones.
Starting point is 01:30:58 I don't know who's doing that. I don't know which dogs are at this point. It's awesome, though. Stanley does something great, and then they're all like, oh, we should accept you. Yeah. So I don't want to run. I want to do a spoiler alert for a book. But as I was doing it, I started to go, I don't remember what the great dance voice was.
Starting point is 01:31:12 I just do a different voice. I can't wait. They didn't stop me. They had a producer on the phone, on the listening. Oh, so obviously you did a good job keeping up. But all those voices are very similar to. Maybe they were confused. Yeah, maybe they don't know.
Starting point is 01:31:25 Can we play that again? Because the first voice is the Great Dane. Oh, here we go. You're a hero. One of the Great Danes barked. Stanley's number one, the hound howled. I always knew he was Cooleio, Drulio, the poodle woofed. Do you want to play catch with us after class?
Starting point is 01:31:42 I think the poodle changed voice is mid. Yeah. Unless that was a different dog. I don't know. I don't know, yeah. And the poodle and hound sound the same. Well, it's the same person, bro. And I get that this is a kid's book, but the concept is just for any age.
Starting point is 01:31:55 Yes, I agree. Because I mean, people are left out. Like, I have a friend right now that's dealing with a high schooler that is completely just got left out of something. And it's like even the parents and the kids are being so kind of cut throat about it. It's just bizarre to me sometimes how people make decisions and knowingly hurt someone. And then I was watching the Brne Brown special, the new one on HBO Max. We're watching it too, Alice in Hart. In episode one, she talks about the sensation of like burning your hand on a, like, say you have a hot.
Starting point is 01:32:25 cup of coffee, if that touches your hand or burns you or burns your mouth, that pain sensation in the brain is the same one we feel when, for example, we have an emotion of feeling left out in a way. Like, it's pain. The truth is when we are kids, when we are young, all we want to do is fit in. We're just like, I just don't want to be made to feel like I don't belong, like I'm different. But here's the good news. The good news is when we become adults, we're just like we're We want to be different. And we start to strive to be different and not be someone that's just running with everyone else. And it is just trying to communicate mostly and effectively because even as a kid, I didn't understand,
Starting point is 01:33:08 that it is so great to be different and to be doing your own thing because eventually you're going to want to be that anyway. You're getting a head start. Like think about a kid who knows who they are and like, that's awesome. Even if they're way different and they're like, this is who I am. I get to be me living my own skin. That is such a mature thing that's such. such an mature emotion, such a mature, a psychological place to be where you're like,
Starting point is 01:33:32 I'm just me and I'm going to let everybody say and do whatever they want, but I know who I am. And that's where we try to get there as an adult, but we don't even try as kids because we're just taught, just fit in, just fit in, just fit in. Yeah, like if you're taught that, if you're taught that to know who you are and feel all the different emotions,
Starting point is 01:33:47 that's like a huge blessing if your home allowed that as a kid. Or you start early. Even if they do, but you go to school, but you have so many people around you that are influences, Just say, no, you got to wear this. You got to fit in with this. You got to feel this way.
Starting point is 01:33:57 You got to be this political way, you know, depending on where you live. But for a kid or a young adult to find themselves early, or at least find that version of themselves early, and be it unapologetically, that is such strength. For an adult to feel that way, it is such strength because that's what we're all striving to be at this point. So as a kid, we just try to fit in. But then, hey, kids, if you feel like you don't fit in right now, okay. Okay, cool and good, because soon enough, you're not going to want to fit in anyway. You're just ahead of everybody else. You're ahead of the folks.
Starting point is 01:34:31 You're ahead of the adults right now that are figuring out their way. And you're ahead of the Great Dan. Now all these adults are downloading this children's book. Well, you can't yet, but that's the situation. I hope it does some good. That's always the goal. For inspiration to reach your goals, join Ben Nimpton to get on track to make the seemingly impossible possible. Register for the May 5th event.
Starting point is 01:34:54 at expresspros.com slash expresstalks. Attend for a chance to win a career coaching session with me. Well, today's the day we decide if we're going to get the storage unit tonight. Oh, yeah. What's the unit at right now? I think we're winning, right? It's at 190? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:35:14 Okay, I can't see it on my screen over here. So right now there is a storage unit that Lunchbox and I are bidding on. And in this storage unit, you can only see a picture from far outside. It looks like there's a bunch of shoes in there. We don't really know. But there's four hours and 25 minutes left on the timer. We have the high bid at $190. What we're doing is splitting at $75, $75.
Starting point is 01:35:38 I'm paying for $75, lunchbox, paying for $25. But then he's going to the bin and doing the work, trying to sell it back. So if there becomes a bidding war in four hours, what do we do? Do you just want to go, let's just win it regardless? Do we want to cap out at a number? I mean, look, the audience have come along this far with us. We've been riding this wave, this emotional high, the roller coasters, the ups and downs, a bidding. We can't let everyone down.
Starting point is 01:36:06 We cannot lose. It is win or go home. Okay, so I have your authorization to bid to win. Isn't that what you think? I think if it gets up to a certain point, we don't bid. You have to back down. Like, what is that point? $10,000?
Starting point is 01:36:26 Oh, I was thinking like $500. Yeah, same thing. And 500 even then I don't want to pay that either. Yeah. So, but I am with you. I think we bid to win. Yes, because there are shoe boxes in there. What do people keep in shoe boxes?
Starting point is 01:36:38 Shoes. Or they're into. Okay. Like when you are, when you're, when you're, when you're, I don't think you leave a bunch of cash in a storage bin, though, do you? Like cash? Well, you put in your shoe bin, your shoe box, you put it in the storage bin. I'll come back for it.
Starting point is 01:36:50 Oh, you forget. And what do you know? There's $100,000 in there. You got to go through everything, though, every nook and cranny of that thing. Because people hide money in the weirdest places. Okay, four hours, 25 minutes, and 25 seconds. We'll know if we won this or not. So I'll be on my Instagram, Mr. Bobby Bowens.
Starting point is 01:37:09 Maybe you can see it over there. That would be 21 or a lot. I should be fine. I should be out of here by one or so. Hopefully I can do this bidding while you guys are watching. Okay, so there's that. I think what I'm going to do, I do have the audio for me doing a bit last night at the Operee Comedy, but I'll do it in the post show.
Starting point is 01:37:24 Okay. So if you guys want to hear that, I will do it in our post show podcast on our feed. And we get to... No, I don't need your review of it. Oh, I thought you wanted to surrey you? I don't. I thought you were going to rewrite it. I never even to make it gold.
Starting point is 01:37:39 Do we say splat or... No. No? That's not the point. The point was I wrote a bit in the car. I got off, did it on stage immediately. And I never bring an audio on me doing stand-up. And I'm going to bring it.
Starting point is 01:37:50 If you guys are mean, I'll never do it again. That's right. You heard it here first, folks. Was that a joke or was that? That was real. Okay. So, I'll do that in the post show. I want to play a voicemail from Jerry and Kentucky.
Starting point is 01:38:01 Ray, if you'll play voicemail number four from last night. With Abby no longer being in a relationship, is she still trying to go on married at first sight that's coming to Nashville? That's a great question. Abby, you did announce you broke up with your boyfriend. Uh-huh. Would you go on married at first sight? I don't think so.
Starting point is 01:38:20 I mean... What's that show, dude? Do you get married immediately? Yes. At first sight. No, no, literally. No, no, I understand the name of the show, but talk to me about what's happening on the show. Okay, so what happens is they go through this whole process and these experts, pick two people.
Starting point is 01:38:32 They think, okay, you guys are perfect. And the first time you see them is at the altar. So there's an expert situation. Yeah, like therapist, matchmakers. You go through matchmaker. You go through interviews. And they find your person and you meet them at the altar in front of all your friends and family. You get married.
Starting point is 01:38:49 You literally get married right then. Abby, come on. Let's go. But you may not. If they don't think you're a match. You get married. Hold on, but I'm saying if they don't think you're a match, you probably don't send you to the altar.
Starting point is 01:38:59 No, no, they'll find someone for you. Yeah. But you have to? They make it work. Well, Abby, they don't. You can get an annulment. No, you get divorced. Anolment.
Starting point is 01:39:09 You live together. I think you're married for three months. Oh, you have to be. They can't make you. Yeah. What do you mean? They can't make you. They don't own you.
Starting point is 01:39:18 It's called married at first sight. If you're going on that show, you can't be like, because then the season, then the show's over. Like if you just go to the altar and be like, now I don't want to get married. You can fake the marriage on camera. Oh, man, guys. Abby, I think you should look into it. It's a great show.
Starting point is 01:39:34 Would you do it? I feel like I could have more luck in that than I am in the real world at this point. Or you can go on dating naked or whatever in that, a spin off of naked and a frame. Well, this show's coming to town. Would you like us to reach out to the producers? Would you? Yeah. Scuba, can you reach out to a producer?
Starting point is 01:39:52 I just want to see. I just give unrealistic things to scoob all the time. Yeah, because I know that they were holding casting that, I don't know if it's past. We can just find somebody and talk to? Yeah. Yeah? Oh, man, that would be the greatest bit ever. Oh, man, that would be awesome.
Starting point is 01:40:04 But you wouldn't be jealous for being on TV? No, I'd love that she had to get married at first sight. What a disaster. No, he supports it. Abby, good luck. We hope you do it, okay? Okay. You said she'll try.
Starting point is 01:40:16 Yeah, it'd be great. Okay. Four hours until our, four hours, 22 minutes, until our pen is up. Is this us, Mike? Yes. Yeah, it's the last. So maybe we scared them off. Yeah, because people are like, who's going to pay one-night-e for this crap?
Starting point is 01:40:31 I do expect a little flurry at the end, though. All right, thank you guys. You can, again, Instagram, Mr. Bobby Bones, and check out the podcast later today, not only for this whole show, but for the post show, which we do most days if we have time to. All right, thank you guys. Bobby Bones show. Boney up the day.
Starting point is 01:40:49 This story comes with us from Florida. two EMTs are looking for a new job after they were busted in a parking lot, doing donuts and burnouts in the ambulance. I wonder how strong those are. Like, do they have massive souped up engines? Because they got to get places. They've got to get there fast. But are they known for going fast or getting places in an efficient manner in a massive automobile?
Starting point is 01:41:18 I don't know if it's actually fast. Yeah, I don't know. Maybe it just looks fast. Yeah. They're in a hurry, right? Yeah. Because we had to move out of the way. So we're stopped and they're going.
Starting point is 01:41:26 Because I could see if that thing had a big motor, of course you want to do donuts. But what if, like, say I'm driving it and you're in the back on the stretcher? Yeah. And the wheels are unlocked and all the donuts make the stretcher spin. Yeah. Let's see if there's anyone in the back first. Lunchbox?
Starting point is 01:41:39 There were no patients in the ambulance at the time. But they say you wear a seatbelt even back there, right? They strap you in. We're not even talking about how they're doing donuts in an ambulance here. Or that he says ambulance. All that we've, you can't do that. Did they get fired? Yeah, they're looking for a new job.
Starting point is 01:41:54 Really? Yeah. I wonder if they were really good at their job, though. It feels like that's a slap on the wrist offense. Oh, man, that's tough. It's pretty irresponsible. You have to make good choices in that position. If you've saved lives and you just blew off a little steam
Starting point is 01:42:08 because you just saved three lives and one, you didn't. Or was your celebration? I mean, it is probably a stressful job. Justice for these paramedics is what I say. They should be in trouble. But if they've been good paramedics, I think they should get their jobs back. If they've been bad, this is what they needed to be fired. I'm Lunchbox. That's your Bonehead Story of the Day.
Starting point is 01:42:29 Go to my Instagram. You can see me last night having a moment of silence before my performance at the Opry. Maybe praying. Maybe just praying not to suck. So it's up there. Mr. Bobby Bones. That was intense. Yeah. When I scroll through the photo, I'm like, what's going off the Bobby? Exactly. Mr. Bobby Bones on Instagram.
Starting point is 01:42:46 I want to go over and talk to Danny in North Carolina who was on the phone. Danny, what's going on? Hey, what's going on, Bobby? You are on the show, my friend. Yeah, excellent. Yeah, I just wanted to do a little funny voiceover for the Hollywood thing you got going on. I like it.
Starting point is 01:43:04 Let me reset and tell my audience what's going on. So, on tomorrow's show, either Amy, Eddie, or lunchbox, who! I'm back in! Oh, yeah. He's back in. We'll be sent to Hollywood. because a major streaming service is doing a movie.
Starting point is 01:43:25 And they reached out specifically for one person on this show. They didn't say, who do you have, who's good? They said, which, they said, I want this person. And I said, okay. So they're going to, the person doesn't know it yet. But on the phone now, Danny wants to do a voiceover. Okay, Danny, you do a good, hey, if we, Ray, let's turn the music down because maybe we'll use this as well, like tomorrow. All right, Danny, here we go.
Starting point is 01:43:46 You're on. To decide the outcome. of these three individuals is Bobby Bones himself. Okay, I'm into it. I'm into it. Okay. Now, I don't be like, well, the problem is I don't get to decide. I didn't decide this. It's already decided. Yeah, yeah, do that. Just do that final part again. It'd be like, it's already decided. And you know what? Bobby did not have anything to do with it. So if you're sending mean messages on Facebook, keep them to yourself, idiots. Do something like that.
Starting point is 01:44:24 All right, just do that final part there for me, Danny. Okay, you ready? Yeah. The outcome will only be known. by Bobby Bones and it has already been decided. Text messages, Facebook messages, TikTok, it all doesn't matter. Bobby holds all the answers in his own hands. And say Bobby didn't pick the person, so all you idiots stop messaging him about that. Sorry.
Starting point is 01:44:51 Yeah, good. Bobby didn't pick the person. All you idiots don't message him about anything. Good. And say that you think Bobby's deserving to have an honorary doctorate. Say that, please. Say that, go ahead. And Bobby also deserves to have an honor.
Starting point is 01:45:11 All right. And maybe also an ice cream cone. Yes, that's right. Close it up. All right. Danny, we appreciate that, buddy. Thanks for calling, man. I hope you have an awesome morning.
Starting point is 01:45:22 Yeah, man. I'm getting some minnows going out fishing. Are you catching or are you buying? Oh, oh, I catch. You catch your minnows? I used to work out. I was not like, oh, no, I throw the sainette out, and I catch the minnows and sit here and listen to a Bobby Bones show while I'm sitting on the edge of the creek
Starting point is 01:45:40 Good for you I used to work at a marina and I would have to But we sold minnows We also sold crickets and I'd much rather catch minnows To give people than crickets But yeah all right Good luck Have you catch a lot of fish
Starting point is 01:45:50 Yeah I definitely always like to do some voiceover man So thank you All right buddy see you later All right so we're out of here See you tomorrow Have a great rest of the day Goodbye friends Bobby Bones
